NAWA Glory 6/28/2012: Tonight, the second annual Queen of Glory Tournament begins. Plus, the man who will challenge for the NAWA World Title at WrestleClash XI, Miles Stylish, steps into the ring with Mike Bennett in the main event. We have all of this and more tonight on Glory.
Bully Ray picked up the win over Chris Sabin in the opening match due to slightly dubious means. He hits Sabin with the groin and then nails him with a power bomb. Bully Ray casually drapes his feet over the bottom rope for leverage to score the pin in 10:30(***)
Jeff Hardy rushes out from the back to try and get himself some of Bully Ray. Bully rolls to the floor to avoid Jeff Hardy’s attack after the match. Ray taunts Hardy from the arena floor.
Ricochet cuts a promo, discussing that finally he gets a chance to beat Prince Devitt and win the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship. Devitt walks in and tells Ricochet better luck this time because last time he fell.
Athena and Nicole Matthews were the first two competitors in the Queen of Glory Tournament. Back and forth action in this match until Athena pulls out the O-Face on Nicole Matthews which is more than enough to get the pin tonight. Athena advances to the second round of the Queen of Glory Tournament. (****)
We see Robert Roode arrive backstage. He dispatched of another challenger this Sunday and now at WrestleClash XI, he has the big one, the one that he’s been waiting for, in Miles Stylish. Roode says that he has a few words to say to Stylish, and he’ll see them to his face.
The Young Bucks picked up the win over the Briscoe Brothers through some cheap tactics. A rolling cradle sends Mark down for the three count, with Nick giving Matt some added leverage in 12:27. As per pre-match situation, the Young Bucks will get an NAWA World Tag Team Title Shot against Bad Influence next week. (*** ½)
Kevin Steen cuts a promo, discussing the fact that he’s not done with El Generico, not just yet. Next week on Glory, he’s going to put the NAWA International Title on the line and put Generico on the shelf right next to Kurt Angle. Steen has a challenge thrown out and there’s no reason why El Generico will decline it.
Kevin Steen picked up the win over Colt Cabana, rolling him over. He applies the ankle lock on Cabana and makes him tap out in 3:31(**)
El Generico rushes out to attack Steen after the match. He puts to Steen and the International Title and accepts the challenge.
Nikki Storm advances forward in the Queen of Glory Tournament, picking up a win over Cherry Bomb. She traps Cherry Bomb in a deadly cross-face submission hold she has dubbed “The Eye of the Storm” for the tap out in 10:15. (*** ¼)
Our main event is up next with Miles Stylish picking up the win over Mike Bennett. Bennett steps up his game and comes very close to beating Stylish with a couple of huge moves. The Box Office Smash is kicked out of and Bennett misses a corner charge. Stylish comes back and hits the Las Vegas Trauma in 10:08(**** ¼)
Robert Roode walks out after the match. Miles Stylish gets on the microphone and says that Roode has been running his mouth about being the best NAWA World Champion. However, he’s never defeated Miles Stylish one on one. To be the best, he’s going to have to beat the best. And at WrestleClash XI, Stylish is going to be the first ever five time NAWA World Champion when he beats Robert Roode.
Roode talks about how Miles Stylish defined the first ten years of the New Age Wrestling Allinace, but now that’s in the past. He’s a relic and now the time to shine is Robert Roode’s. He’s taken the NAWA World Title and ran with the ball. He’s proven that he’s the best and at WrestleClash XI, he’s going to beat the former best, to cement his legacy. He says that the past and the present collide. Stylish talks about how if Roode wants the torch, he’s going to have to rip it form his cold dying hands. Stylish is walking out with the gold on August 26th. Roode’s clock is ticking, less than sixty days. Roode disagrees. Glory fades to black on this staredown.

NAWA Glory 7/5/2012:
Tonight, the Queen of Glory continues. Plus there are two big championship matches. Long time rivals, El Generico and Kevin Steen lock horns for the NAWA International Title one more time. Also, in the main event, Bad Influence defend the NAWA World Tag Team Titles against the Young Bucks.
Jessica Havock rolled over Taeler Hendrix in the first match in the Queen of Glory Tournament. She locks on the Torture Rack to make Hendrix tap out and advance to the semifinals in 8:22(*)
We head backstage where D’Angelo DInero is talking to Amanda Sinclair. Sinclair announces that Dinero is going to be in the Race to the Top Match. Dinero says he’s game. The other competitors are AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Willie Mack, Austin Aries, and a fifth competitor to be announced later. Dinero says she can put five other competitors or five hundred, but at the end, Pope is Pimpin.
Ricochet continued his momentum leading to his NAWA Cruiserweight Title Match with Prince Devitt at WrestleClash XI against Jack Evans. Evans misses a springboard moonsault and then Ricochet connects with the 360 Moonsault for the pin in 10:22(****)
Devitt comes down to the ramp and stares down his opponent for WrestleClash XI. Ricochet points for the Cruiserweight Title Belt.
Mia Yim advances to the next round of the Queen of Glory Tournament against Leva Bates. She catches Bates with the STO and pins her in 10:41(** ¼)
The announcers hype up the semifinals with Athena against Nikki Storm and Jessica Havock against Mia Yim. The winners of these two matches will go onto the finals.
Mia Stylish storms into the office of Amanda Sinclair and is upset about the Queen of Glory Tournament. She should have gotten a title shot at WrestleClash XI. Sinclair says that considering Stylish tapped out and lost her title shot, then she doesn’t deserve anything. Stylish calls Sinclair a bitter bitch, because Stylish made it and Sinclair had to settle for management. Sinclair tells her that she’ll give Stylish a big match. At WrestleClash XI, Stylish will go one on one with Kana. Stylish protests, and Sinclair says that if she beats Kana, then she might make an argument for another title shot. Unless she’s afraid of going one on one with Kana. Sinclair yells she’s not afraid.
Another round takes place between Kevin Steen and El Generico for the NAWA International Title. Generico misses a moonsault and Steen hits a Pop Up Power Bomb, the Angle Slam, and then locks on the ankle lock for the tap out in 13:19. (****)
Steen beats on Generico after the match. The fans are on their feet as Kurt Angle charges into the ring. We haven’t seen Angle since January. Angle pounds away at Steen and launches him to the floor. Angle picks up the NAWA International Championship belt and taunts Steen with it. Steen yells out to give him his belt back. Angle slides to the floor and NAILS STEEN IN THE FACE WITH THE BELT TO A HUGE POP!
After the events earlier, Amanda Sinclair has announced that Kurt Angle against Kevin Steen for the NAWA International Title will take place at WrestleClash XI. Also, as a consolation prize, El Generico will be the sixth competitor in the Race to the Top Match.
The NAWA World Tag Team Title Match is two teams trying to out jerk each other. Bad Influence and the Young Bucks had a battle full of cheating until the Briscoe Brothers stormed out and attacked both tag teams. The match is called off in 17:45(****)
Next week, the NAWA World Champion Robert Roode takes on another former NAWA World Champion in Sederick Skyhawk. Roode wants to prove he’s the best by defeating a former NAWA World Champion.
The Briscoes, the Bucks, and Bad Influence are beating each other until security comes out. Amanda Sinclair announces a Three Way Dance at WrestleClash XI with the Bad Influence defending their belts against the Bucks and the Briscoes. Daniels protests at this, but it has been spoken. We fade to black as hype is made for next week on the road to WrestleClash XI.

NAWA Glory 7/12/2012: Tonight, the Queen of Glory tournament continues. Also, Kurt Angle returns to the ring for the first time since January, to team with El Generico to take on Samoa Joe and the NAWA International Champion Kevin Steen. Plus, Robert Roode takes on Sederick Skyhawk in the main event. Glory is up next.
Champion and challenger at WrestleClash XI will team up, when Prince Devitt and Ricochet take on the Motor City Machine Guns, who are teaming up for the first time in months. The Guns could not get their timing back down, and were not happy about being involved in this match. Shelley ends up nailing Sabin on a criss-cross and just leaving the ring, leaving him open for the Bloody Sunday in 10:37(**** ¼)
Ricochet grabs the Cruiserweight Title Belt away from the referee. Devitt snatches it away for Ricochet and the two get into a staredown, with Devitt shoving the belt into Ricochet’s face as if saying this is the closet that you’re going to get to the gold.
Kevin Steen cuts a promo, talking about how Kurt Angle returned last week. Angle doesn’t know how to stay down. At WrestleClash XI, Steen will finish the job he started back in January. Angle won’t be walking back into the ring again.
Athena picked up the win to advance in the Queen of Glory Tournament over Nikki Storm in a pretty hard-hitting contest. The O-Face spelled the doom over Nikki in 9:52(***)
Next week, the winner of Mia Yim against Jessica Havock will face Athena in the finals of the 2012 Queen of Glory Tournament.
Kana is backstage with the interviewer trying to get a few words about her match against Mia Stylish at WrestleClash XI. Kana walks over to the gym area and a practice dummy. She says a few words and kicks the dummy directly in the head. She then kicks the dummy’s head off, smiles, and leaves.
Mike Bennett picked up a win over Tony Mamaluke with the Box Office Smash in pretty much no time flat in 7:59. (* ½)
Bennett gets on the microphone to complain about being left out of the WrestleClash XI card and more importantly, being left out of the Race to the Top Match. He vows to correct that and challenge any competitor in the world to a match.
The duo of Kevin Steen and Samoa Joe got the win over El Generico and Kurt Angle. Generico is beaten down for a good portion of this match. He is about ready to make the tag. Steen runs down the ring apron and baits Angle into attacking him, thus missing the tag. Joe is back up and kills Generico as Angle and Steen are brawling on the floor. Rear Naked Choke is applied to Generico and he passes out from the pin in 14:55(*** ½)
Steen cheap shots Angle with a superkick and lays him out on the floor. Security comes out to break up the beating.
Next week, Willie Mack takes on Austin Aries for the NAWA Television Title. Two competitors who competed in the Race to the Top Match will square off this Sunday.
Miles Stylish comes out for some guest commentary for the main event.
Robert Roode got the win over Sederick Skyhawk in a very impressive little bout. Skyhawk got a couple of nearfalls over Roode. Stylish reminds us of his feud with Skyhawk and the bad blood there. Skyhawk misses the Fallen Star and Roode picks apart the arm before putting on the cross-face submission hold for the tap out in 11:58(***)
Roode leaves the ring and walks up the ramp. Stylish drops the head set and he and Roode get into a shouting match. Roode spits at the challenger and Stylish goes after him. Security is out to protect the main event of WrestleClash XI. Stylish is looking to be a five-time champion! Roode wants to keep the belt. Something has to give at WrestleClash XI in the main event.

NAWA Glory 7/19/2012 Tonight, NAWA Glory will featuring Austin Aries taking on Willie Mack for the NAWA Television Championshp. Plus, the Semifinals of the Queen of Glory Tournament and Jeff Hardy will be in action.
We head to the back where Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin are having words over what happened last week. Shelley throws down a challenge to Sabin for a match. It was how their run in the company started, as opponents in a match with each other. Sabin reminds Shelley he won and Shelley is angry, saying that he’s only gotten better in the past seven years.
Our next match was the Semifinals of the Queen of Glory Tournament, which featured Jessica Havock going one on one with Mia Yim. We had Havock wreck Yim’s business and it ended with a vicious torture rack in 11:35. (** ¾)
The announcers hype up the finals of the Queen of Glory between Havock and Athena, where the winner challenges Gail Kim for the NAWA Women’s Title at WrestleClash XI.
Kurt Angle talks about how he lost a chance to become the NAWA World Champion thanks to Kevin Steen .We see a replay of Angle going down and Steen adding further injury for the pop-up Power Bomb. Angle says that until he keeps breathing, he keeps fighting, no matter how broken down his body. He says that Steen won’t be such a bad ass when his ankle is snapped. Angle says that he’s going to walk out of WrestleClash XI as the new NAWA International Champion just like that. And that’s what’s true.
The NAWA World Tag Team Title match is hyped up with Matt Jackson sneaking out a win over Christopher Daniels and Mark Briscoe. Daniels is sent to the floor and Matt Jackson hits the brain buster for the pin in 9:55(*** ½)
We have hype for the NAWA World Tag Team Title Three Way Dance between the Young Bucks, the Briscoe Brothers, and Bad Influence at WrestleClash XI.
Willie Mack cuts a promo, talking about how he and Austin Aries have been around the block several times. Tonight, it’s Mack’s time as he steps out with the NAWA Television Title.
Alex Shelley had a match with Paul London. The former NAWA Cruiserweight Champion showed how dangerous he was and put Shelley on the ropes. A huge forearm smash set up Sliced Bread #2 which spelled the end for London in 10:34. (**** ¼)
We have a hype where former tag team partners collide with Alex Shelley taking on Chris Sabin as part of WrestleClash XI.
We take a look at the rise of Miles Stylish through the New Age Wrestling Alliance beating the likes of Raven, Harry Harris, Ron Waterman, Samoa Joe, Jerry Lynn, Sederick Skyhawk, and the list goes on and one. Then we see the rise of Robert Roode to the NAWA World Title. Roode talks about how Miles Stylish is NAWA history, but Robert Roode is making history in the present. He’s going to prove that he is excellence personified and Miles Stylish’s best days are behind him. He had a good decade run as the top dog, but it all comes crashing down when Robert Roode bcomes the new face of the company.
Robert Roode defends his NAWA World Title against Miles Stylish at WrestleClash XI. You don’t want to miss this one.
Jeff Hardy had a tough match with Hernandez who threw him around. Hardy slips down the back of the Border Toss and hits a neckbreaker which sets up the Swanton Bomb for the pin in 14:27. (****)
BULLY RAY NAILS HARDY IN THE BACK OF THE LEG WITH A BASEBALL BAT! Ray is now pounding away at Hardy after the match and throws him into the corner. Ray nails him into the back of the leg with several forearms and kicks and then grabs Hardy before dragging him over to the post. Ray wraps Hardy’s leg around the post. Bully Ray gets on the microphone and challenges Jeff Hardy to a Last Man Standing Match. If he can even stand after Bully Ray was done with him.
Austin Aries and Willie Mack had a match with Aries trying to out run Mack. Mack gets his hands on Aries and pounds him. A super belly to belly suplex wipes Aries out and Mack rolls himself over and gets a two and three fourths count before the bell rings, signaling the Television Time Limit in 15:00. (***)
The fans chant five more minutes, and Aries just yells “screw you” before walking off. Mack yells that Aries is a coward hiding behind the time limit and a real champion would wave it. Aries retorts that if Mack was deserving of the belt, he could get it done in fifteen minutes. We have some back and forth between both sides with devolves into an intense shouting match. Both of these competitors will join the Race to the Top Ladder Match with El Generico, Samoa Joe, D’Angelo Dinero, and AJ Styles, where the winner gets an NAWA World Title Shot at any point during Season Twelve.

NAWA Glory 7/26/2012:
Tonight, the finals of the Queen of Glory take place with Athena taking on Jessica Havock in the main event. Also, D’Angelo Dinero takes on Chris Sabin.
Jay Briscoe picks up the win over Kazarian and Nick Jackson. Nick Jackson puts Kazarian to the outside of the ring with a superkick. Jay delivers a Nick Jackson with a J-Driller for the pin in 11:38(*** ½)
The announcers hype up with the Briscoe Brothers, The Young Bucks, and Bad Influence in a Triple Threat Match for the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. It will be as part of WrestleClash XI.
We see Jeff Hardy cutting a promo. His leg was wrapped up, but he will be as part of WrestleClash XI and in a Last Man Standing Match. He will take down Bully Ray and finally get his revenge.
AJ Styles and Homicide had a hard hitting match with Homicide gaining a couple of very tight nearfalls over AJ Styles throughout the next match. Styles fights out and hits the Styles Clash in 10:13(****)
We have hype for AJ Styles joining Samoa Joe, D’Angelo Dinero, Austin Aries, El Generico, and Willie Mack in the Race to the Top Ladder Match. The winner will receive an NAWA World Title Shot at any point of their choosing in the past year.
A look at the rise of Robert Roode. Robert Roode vows to walk out of WrestleClash XI still as the NAWA World Champion .He is the best, therefore he is going to beat the former champion.
Mike Bennet picked up a very tainted win over Rob Van Dam. He shoves the referee into the buckles and he crotches Rob Van Dam down on the bottom rope. Bennett hits the Box Office Smash for the pin in 10:51. (*** ¾)
Bennett cuts a promo against the roster and will challenge anyone in the world.
D’Angelo Dinero and Chris Sabin had a very intense match. Sabin is knocked down on the ropes and hits him into the ropes. The DDE sends Sabin down for the pin in 11:34.(*** ¾)
D’Angelo Dinero’s part in the Race to the Top Ladder Match is hyped up once again.
Athena and Jessica Havock fought in the main event in the Queen of Glory Tournament. The two battled each other throughout most of this match. The Torture Rack is countered with Athena hitting the O-Face and puts him down to the pin in 15:00. (** ¾)
Athena advances to challenge Gail Kim for the NAWA World Title at WrestleClash XI.
Next week, Kurt Angle will get the NAWA World Title Shot that he earned in the Luck of the Draw by challenging Robert Roode. This is a big match that has huge WrestleClash XI implciations. See you next week.

NAWA Glory 8/2/2012:
Three Race to the Top Preview Matches take place tonight. Plus, the NAWA World Title is on the line, when the 2012 Luck of the Draw winner Kurt Angle challenges Robert Roode with some huge WrestleClash XI implications.
The opening match took place with Kana taking on Madison Rayne. Kana rolls over Rayne with a brutal battle, kicking her several times in the side of the head. She applies a cross-armbreaker and taps her out in 10:16. (**** ¼)
After the match, Mia Stylish rushes down to the ring. Kana turns around and Stylish bolts from the back. The ambush attack after the match has been stopped. Stylish backs off down the ramp and draws a severe amount of boos. Kana steps into the ring with Mia Stylish one on one at WrestleClash XI.
The first Race to the Top Preview Match took place tonight with D’Angelo Dinero will take on Willie Mack. Mack brutalizes Dinero for the good first portion of this match. Mack is slammed into the corner. First DDE is blocked. A low blow and another DDE in 11:16. (**** ¼)
Dinero cuts a promo, declaring his intentions to win the NAWA World Title. Mack comes back up and nails Dinero with a few forearms to the back of the head. He throws Dinero through the ropes and Mack baseball slides his opponent. Mack beats him Dinero and throws him into the guardrail. An avalanche drives Dinero into the guardrail and stuns him.
Austin Aries and El Generico have a short little sprint. Aries hits the corner with a full impact, and clutches his neck. The referee checks on Aries and stops the match. The fans are booing after the fact with Aries catching Generico in a cradle and uses the ropes for leverage in 3:17(***)
Aries collapses on the ground. Security is out to check on Aries and bending down to look him over. The NAWA Television Champion may have suffered an injury.
Robert Roode storms in and demands to know why Kurt Angle gets a title shot. Amanda Sinclair says that Angle still has the NAWA World Title Shot he earned at Luck of the Draw. If Roode loses, and Roode freaks out at the implication he’ll lose, then there will be a return match next week, and the winner of that match will defend their belt against Miles Stylish. Roode says that he’s the champion and he shouldn’t have to compete. Sinclair says that next week it will be the International Champion Kevin Steen against Miles Stylish closer to WrestleClash XI.
The third Race to the Top Preview match will take on against AJ Styles against Samoa Joe in a return match from the finals of the Past Gold Rush Tournament. Joe works over Styles for the majority of this match. Belly-to-back suplex is countered with the Pele Kick putting down Joe down to the canvas. Styles hits the Springboard 450 Splash and holds down Joe for the pin in 13:59. (**** ¼)
The Race to the Top Ladder Match is hyped with AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries, El Generico, Willie Mack, and D’Angelo Dinero is hyped up for WrestleClash XI.
The look at the past few months with Jeff Hardy against Bully Ray. This time, they fought in a Last Man Standing Match. We see Bully Ray injuring Jeff Hardy’s leg a couple of weeks ago. Hardy is going into the match at less than a hundred percent.
Kevin Steen jumps Kurt Angle on the ramp and rams him into the ring apron. A series of punches rocks Angle and hoists him up. POWER BOMB INTO THE RING APRON STUNS ANGLE! Angle’s broken body has slumped over the ring apron with Steen backing off from him. He spits on Angle’s body as it quivers over the ring apron.
Angle refuses to walk off, and he instead steps into the ring to challenge Robert Roode for the NAWA World Title. Robert Roode brutalizes Angle throughout this match and busts him open. Angle pulls out three German Suplexes, and the Ankle Lock is applied. Angle collapses and Roode kicks him into the corner where Steen clocks Angle from behind. Roode hits the Death Valley Driver and covers Angle for the pin in 12:22(****)
Roode stands over Angle’s body. We see Steen enter the ring and stomp on Angle. The fans are making noise and Miles Stylish runs into the ring with a steel chair. We fade to black with hype of Stylish against Roode and Angle verus Steen at WrestleClash XI.

NAWA Glory 8/9/2012:
Tonight, the NAWA International Champion Kevin Steen meets Miles Stylish in a return match from last year’s WrestleClash. Plus, the Race to the Top Preview with D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe taking on El Generico and AJ Styles.
The Young Bucks picked up an impressive win over the All Night Express. Matt superkicked Rhett Titus into perfect position for the Air Raid Crash to Titus in 9:50. (*** ½)
Three way tag team match is hyped up with Bad Influence defending the NAWA World Tag Team Titles against both the Young Bucks and the Briscoe Brothers. It’s part of WrestleClash XI only on Pay Per view.
The duo of Kana and Hamada defeated Mia Stylish and Alissa Flash. Stylish left Flash to the wolves and a Yakuza Kick from Kana pins Flash in 13:04. (*** ¼)
After the match, Mia Stylish jumps Kana from behind and drives her down. Kana gets back up and Stylish books it. Kana rises up with a smile on her face, with her busted open mouth. Stylish has a real “what have I done?” look on her face as she backs down the ramp.
Brian Kendrick is nailed at the bell with a running dropkick to the back of the head and hit with the Bloody Sunday for the pin by Prince Devitt in 15 seconds. (*)
Ricochet comes out from the back and slaps Devitt. Ricochet yells that one year ago, he came close to winning the NAWA Cruiserweight Champiionship before falling flat on his face. This year, he’s walking out with the belt. Devitt just grins at him and says that he’s not going to win the belt tonight or any other night.
Robert Roode cuts a promo, talking about how tonight he’s going to watch Kevin Steen steamroll Miles Stylish. Stylish might not even make it to WrestleClash XI if Steen has his way.
Tag team action features D’Angelo Dinero and Samoa Joe taking on AJ Styles and El Generico. Styles and Dinero end up the floor. Yakuza Kick in the corner is moved and Joe hits a huge Saito Suplex before slapping Generico into the Rear Naked Choke in 11:38. (**** ¼)
These four men will join Willie Mack in the Race to the Top Ladder Match. The NAWA Television Champion Austin Aries has checked out of the match thanks to a neck injury. Therefore, the winner of the Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin match will take his place in the Race to the Top Ladder Match. And that match will be moved from WrestleClash XI to the Glory before WrestleClash XI in two weeks.
Miles Stylish and Kevin Steen renewed old hostilities in tonight’s main event. Robert Roode ran out when Stylish was making a comeback and nails Stylish with a cheapshot clothesline to the back of the head. Roode stomps away at Stylish and throws him off into the ropes. (****)
Steen joins Roode in the beating. Kurt Angle charges down to the ring to break up the beating after the fact. Angle and Stylish stand in the ring and they throw out the challenge to Steen and Roode for a tag team match for next week. Roode and Steen agree to join forces to lay some extra beating on their WrestleClash XI opponents just ten days before the fact.

NAWA Glory 8/16/2012: Tonight, the main event features The NAWA International Champion Kevin Steen and the NAWA World Champion Robert Roode taking on their WrestleClash XI challengers in Kurt Angle and Miles Stylish. Plus, Bully Ray locks horns with Rob Van Dam. And in a WrestleClash X rewind match, and a WrestleClash XI preview, D’Angelo Dinero squares off against Samoa Joe.
An old rivalry renews tonight on Glory, with Ricochet picking up the win over Teddy Hart. Hart’s ego gets in the way of him accomplishing anything. Hart Attack misses. Hart lands on his feet and eats a rewind rana before Ricochet heads to the outside. 630 Senton connects to Hart and that’s enough to hold him down for the pin in 10:39. (**** ¼)
Prince Devitt is out to stare down Ricochet from the ramp. Ricochet dives over the top rope and cross-body blocks Devitt! Devitt scrambles to his feet and kicks Riochet in the face when he rises. BRAIN BUSTER ON THE RAMP! The thunderous sound of Ricochet’s neck slamming against the ramp echoes. Devitt climbs to the guardrail and dives off with a flying double foot stomp! Devitt stands over Ricochet’s downed body. Devitt’s held that belt for five hundred and eight days tonight, making him the longest champion in the history of the New Age Wrestling Alliance.
Two old rivals step into the ring, with Samoa Joe and D’Angelo Dinero previewing their match. Dinero uses a game of cat and mouse to stun Joe and to keep him off balance. Joe hooks on the Rear Naked Choke after Dinero hits the corner and chokes him out in 13:39. (****)
Samoa Joe and D’Angelo Dinero will join AJ Styles, Willie Mack, El Generico, and the winner of next week’s match between Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin in the Race to the Top Ladder Match.
We take a look at the NAWA Women’s Title Match between Athena and Gail Kim. Athena blows through the roster in the Queen of Glory Tournament. Now, she has to step into the ring with Gail Kim, who has been on a tear, defending her title ever since WrestleClash XI.
The next match features Bad Influence picking up the win over Colt Cabana and TJ Perkins. Cabana is knocked on the floor, allowing Kazarian to hit a standing flipping Uranage and Daniels to pull off the Best Moonsault Ever in 9:20. (**** ¼)
Bad Influence will go onto WrestleClash XI to defend those NAWA World Tag Team Titles against both the Briscoe Brothers and the Young Bucks in a Triple Threat Match.
Bully Ray mocks Jeff Hardy prior to the next match, walking out with a cane. In comes Rob Van Dam to defend his friend, and we have a match. Van Dam is whacked him the stomach with the cane behind the referee’s back and Ray hits the Bully Bomb to score the pin in 10:04. (***)
Jeff Hardy pops up on the NAWA-Vision and says that he will be at WrestleClash XI, and he will be ready to fight until his final breath when he takes on Bully Ray in a Last Man Standing Match. Ray mocks Hardy some more with a slight limp, to draw static from the fans.
Our main event features the duo of Robert Roode and Kevin Steen picking up the win over Kurt Angle and Miles Stylish. Stylish and Roode disappear up the ramp, and Steen nails Angle into the exposed buckle before hitting the Angle Slam and slapping on the ankle lock. Angle has no choice but to submit to his own hold in 16:02. (****)
Roode and Stylish continue to brawl up the ramp. We see Roode go to the eyes and slam Stylish head first into the metal part of the set. Roode grabs the NAWA World Title Belt from the time keeper and NAILS STYLISH IN THE SIDE OF THE HEAD! Stylish drops to the ground as he’s been bloodied. Roode pounds away at the flesh wound and now picks up Stylish, dragging him up from one part of the stage. ROODE HURLS STLYISH OFF SENDING HIM THROUGH THE GLASS SIGN OF THE STAGE!
We cut back to Stylish who is gushing blood from being hurled through glass. Roode asks if he’s a paper champion now. He spits on Stylish to draw immense heat from the fans. We fade to black with hype for Roode against Stylish for the NAWA World Title. Our last image is Robert Roode leaving Miles Stylish in a pool of his own blood on the glass on the ramp.

NAWA Glory 8/23/2012: A video package showcases the longest reigning champion in NAWA history, Prince Devitt, defending the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship, against Ricochet. Ricochet fell short to defeat Devitt last year at WrestleClash X. This time, he gets one more crack at the gold.
We see the return of Mia Stylish back at Reality Check where she costs Kana the NAWA Women’s Championship. Kana stalks Mia Stylish during the past couple of months. They will fight one more time.
A recap of last week features Miles Stylish being attacked by the NAWA World Champion Robert Roode and hurled though a glass piece of the set. Stylish has been mangled by the set. We have Miles Stylish who is taped up and looking like he got through a car wreck. He is coming for the NAWA World Championship. Roode thinks he’s entitled to be the next face of the NAWA. Well, he’s the champion, but until he pins Miles Stylish, he’s proven nothing. If Roode wants the torch, he’ll have to rip it from Stylish’s hands.
The Briscoe Brothers head into WrestleClash XI with an impressive win over Jack Evans and Teddy Hart. Hart flips over the top rope and Evans eats the Spiked J-Driller for the pin in 11:39. (**** ¼)
Jay gets on the microphone and yells how it’s time, it’s time to capture the NAWA World Tag Team Titles. Those Young Bucks, and Bad Influence, both are going to get wrecked. Two and half years to go without the gold is long enough. It’s time for the Briscoes to man up.
Athena won the 2012 Queen of Glory Tournament. Gail Kim is the defending and reigning champion. They clash for the NAWA Women’s Championship as part of WrestleClash XI.
The history between Kevin Steen and Kurt Angle is highlighted starting with Steen injuring Kurt Angle after Luck of the Draw. Steen spent months mocking Angle until Angle returns. Then Steen tries to cripple Angle and then costs him the NAWA World Title. Angle is coming to WrestleClash XI and will be challenging Kevin Steen for the NAWA International Title.
A look at Bully Ray costing Jeff Hardy the NAWA World Title back at Gold Rush. They battle at Night of the Rogues with Hardy putting Bully through the table. Ray injuries Hardy’s leg. They will step into the ring at WrestleClash XI in a Last Man Standing Match. These two men who have fought for wars for years in two of the most decorated teams in wrestling, will face off one on one.
Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the former Motor City Machine Guns, collide. Shelley catches Sabin with a cheap shot and gets the win with Sliced Bread #2 to advance forward into the Race to the Top Match to replace an injured Austin Aries in 18:33(*** ¾)
It’s set, with Alex Shelley, D’Angelo Dinero, Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, Willie Mack, and El Generico squaring off for the Race to the Top Ladder Match. The winner receives an NAWA World Title Shot during any time through Season 12 of the New Age Wrestling Alliance.
We see Miles Stylish beating the likes of Harry Harris, Raven, Jerry Lynn, Ron Waterman, Samoa Joe, and Sederick Skyhawk over the years. Robert Roode watches and cuts a promo talking about how last week he shows how he can wreck Stylish. He’s going to finish the day and walk out with the NAWA World Title. The likes of Harris, Raven, Lynn, and Waterman, they were members of an old era, relics of a past time in this company. Stylish stands alone. And Roode strikes him down this Sunday.
The final hard sell for the NAWA World Title match between Robert Roode and Miles Stylish wraps up the show. Don’t you dare miss it.

NAWA WrestleClash XI 8/26/2012:
Tonight, the New Age Wrestling Alliance returns to Pay Per View for the finale of Season Eleven of the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Five huge championship matches capped up by the NAWA World Championship match where the 2011 Race to the Top Winner, Miles Stylish, challenges the NAWA World Champion Robert Roode. We’re going to kick things up with the 2012 version of the Race to the Top Match.
AJ Styles, Willie Mack, El Generico, Alex Shelley, D’Angelo Dinero, and Samoa Joe are the six competitors in this match. The bell rings, with Generico chopping away at Samoa Joe at the bell. Dinero and Styles go at it, with Willie Mack sending Alex Shelley off into the ropes. Mack leapfrogs over the charging Shelley and catches him with a dropkick. Dinero punches away at Styles in the corner and goes for a forearm smash. Styles dodges the forearm smash and pops back with a Discus Clothesline to send Dinero down to the canvas.
Joe dispatches of Generico and gets a kick to the face from Styles. These two competitors previously competed in a pair of breath taking matches in the finals of Back to Back Gold Rush Tournaments. Joe rams Styles into the corner and hoists him up. A huge Samoan Drop sends Styles down. Willie Mack explodes into Joe with a running kneelift. Joe is now rolling to the floor.
Alex Shelley drags El Generico to the arena floor and slams him head first into the ladder. Multiple punches clips Generico’s chest before Shelley snap mares him down. A huge kneedrop to the floor. Shelley picks up the ladder and tries to bring it into play. Dinero clubs Shelley when coming back into the ring. Uppercuts clip Shelley in the chest. Dinero clotheslines Shelley down and then hits a facebuster down across the knee.
Joe gets his hands on the ladder and swings it in to smack Mack in the chest with the ladder. Mack slumps down to one knee and Joe hammers him repeatedly with the ladder. He moves down both Styles and Generico with shots with the ladder. Joe turns his focus to Shelley and Dinero to bring them both down to the canvas. The Samoan Submission Machine stands tall in the center of the ring over his adversaries. He pumps up a hand and then puts the ladder up.
Joe won this match back in 2010 and ascends the ladder. D’Angelo Dinero comes back up off of the other side of the ladder and punches away at Joe. Joe headbutts Dinero and sends him down the ladder. Joe beats the back of Dinero’s head and throws him off of the ladder. Willie Mack climbs the ladder next. Mack and Joe get into a headbutting contest on the ladder until AJ Styles tips it over and crotches both men on the top rope.
Styles backs off and goes for a running clothesline. Generico dodges the clothesline and connects with the Blue Thunder Bomb to send Styles down to the canvas. Generico holds himself up and kneelift stuns Shelley. Generico backs off into the ropes. Yakuza Kick clips Dinero in the side of his jaw in the corner. Generico steps back from Shelley and raises his hand into the air. Generico kicks Shelley and hoists him up. Shelley drops down and cobra clutch into a backbreaker!
The ladder is now set into play with Shelley making his way up the ladder. In comes Mack up the ladder one more time. Mack and Shelley trade punches on the ladder until Mack shoves Shelley off of the ladder. Joe is now behind Mack and he climbs up to him. ELECTRIC CHAIR DROP OFF OF THE LADDER! Mack’s large body splatters down to the canvas.
Dinero grabs the ladder and uses it as a javelin to take down Joe to the canvas. Dinero goes to whip the ladder into the face of Styles. Styles leap frogs over Dinero. The former NAWA World Champion crashes into the buckles hard. Styles springboards over the top rope and performs a teeter-totter like action to smack the ladder into Dinero’s face. Styles connects with a Springboard 450 Splash to his prone body.
Shelley kicks Styles in the ribs and pulls him back up. Repeated forearms to the chest stuns him and now Shelley hits a Sliced Bread #2 to Styles to lay him out. Shelley is now setting up the ladder one more time. He’s opened up for the Golden Ticket. Joe tries to get up to the canvas. Shelley kicks Joe in the head a couple of times before ascending higher up the ladder.
El Generico springboards off of Joe’s back and scrambles up the ladder at the last possible second. Jabs stun Shelley in the chest to double him over. He grabs Shelley and goes for a suplex. Shelley hangs onto the edge of the ladder and forearms his opponent in the chest. In comes Mack to hoist Shelley onto his shoulders. SHELLEY IS LAUNCHED OFF OF THE LADDER! Generico almost has the Golden Ticket. He unhooks it unto Dinero grabs Generico’s leg. Dinero yanks Generico off of the ladder.
The former NAWA World Champion’s path to the top is unrestrained. He climbs up the ladder for the belt, but Styles climbs up with him. Dinero punches away at Styles and then fires back. In comes Mack to shove them both off of the ladder. Joe catches Mack from behind with a Rear Naked Choke. Joe is putting Mack down to the canvas with the Rear Naked Choke.
Mack drops to the canvas. Joe catches Shelley and sends him down with the ST-Joe to lay him out. Now all five men are down and it leaves the path clear for Samoa Joe. Joe ascends the ladder underneath the Golden Ticket. He prepares to win his second Golden Ticket. GENERICO IS UP ON THE LADDER AGAIN!
Joe beats on Generico’s head. He tries to back drop Generico up off of the ladder. Generico returns fire with repeated forearm smashes. Each forearm drills into the side of Joe’s shoulder. Joe hangs onto the top of the ladder. Generico repeatedly kicks at him and YAKUZA KICKS JOE THROUGH THE TOP MOST RUNGS OF THE LADDER! Joe falls off of the ladder, crashing onto Shelley, Dinero, and Styles.
We see Mack crawling to his feet. It’s too late as El Generico unhooks the golden ticket and releases it. El Generico wins the 2012 Race to the Top Match over Samoa Joe, AJ Styles, D’Angelo Dinero, Alex Shelley, and Willie Mack in 21:43(*** 1/2)
Generico drops down and will receive an NAWA World Title Shot anytime during Season Twelve of the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Mack offers props to Generico as an enraged Samoa Joe comes to his feet. Generico departs with the Golden Ticket.
The 2012 Queen of Glory Winner Athena challenges Gail Kim for the NAWA Women’s Title next. Both women circle each other for the early portion of this match. Athena shoves Kim back off against the ropes and goes for a clothesline in the corner. Kim dodges the attack and hits two dropkicks. Athena tries for a tilt-a-whirl. Kim counters with a standing headscissors/armlock hybrid move.
Athena shrugs Kim off. Kim dodges a huge hammer blow and takes Athena’s legs out from underneath of her with a legsweep. Kim grabs the leg and applies a kneebar. Athena kicks off Kim and throws her into the ropes. A hoisting flapjack sends Kim down to the canvas. Athena rattles Kim with repeated punches to the side of the head and throws her off into the corner. A side suplex out of the corner sends Kim down for a two count.
The challenger for the NAWA Women’s Title hammers Kim with repeated punches to the top of the head. She goes for a powerslam. Kim drops down. Athena elbows Kim in the face and throws her into the ropes. Sidewalk Slam sends Kim down to the canvas. Athena covers her hooking the leg and only gets a two count. She steps back and stomps Kim’s face. Another two count is delivered.
Athena drags Kim up to her standing position. The champion once again takes down Athena and puts her into a kneebar. Athena fights out of the hold and pops up. Spin kick sends Kim down to the canvas. Athena steps back and hits a huge kneedrop to the chest. She lifts up Kim and puts her on the top rope. Athena climbs up with Kim. The fighting NAWA Women’s Champion elbows Athena off of the ropes and sends he down. A Springboard Thesz Press brings Athena down. Kim covers hooking the leg and gets a two count!
A basement dropkick cracks the challenge for the NAWA Women’s championship in the face. Gail Kim pushes a series of elbow strikes to the chest. Kim grabs Athena and puts her up onto the top rope. Kim climbs up to the top rope with Athena. She gives a leap onto the shoulders and sends Athena crashing down off of the canvas with a Frankensteiner. Kim covers Athena hooking the leg and gets a two count.
The champion is beginning to get frustrated. She grabs Athena and goes for a sleeperhold. Athena elbows out of the hold and throws Kim into the ropes. A huge spinebuster bomb brings Kim down to the canvas. Kim connects to the canvas with all of the force of a gunshot going off. Athena covers Kim hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count when Kim brings the shoulder up off of the canvas.
Athena elbow smashes Kim to her face. The fans are getting behind her. Kim reverses an Irish Whip into the corner. Athena hits the corner and scrambles up the ropes. O-FACE CONNECTS! That springboard stunner sends Gail Kim crashing down to the canvas. Athena covers Kim to hook the leg and gets the pin. Athena wins the NAWA Women’s Championship over Gail Kim in 10:52(***)
The fans are on their feet, applauding this win. Athena snags the NAWA Women’s Title Belt and holds it up over her head in a token of victory. She has the belt and the fans can’t believe it.
Out comes Mike Bennett, who talks about how he’s the prodigy and how he’s the best competitor in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. And yet, he doesn’t have a match tonight at WrestleClash XI. He vows to rectify that tonight and calls out anyone. Out comes James Storm. We have not seen James Storm since losing to his former partner Robert Roode at Luck of the Draw. Storm steps into the ring and goes for Bennett. The bell rings kicking off this match.
James Storm and Mike Bennett collide with punches at the bell. Storm wins the punchout. Bennett spills over the top rope to the arena floor after eating a diving clothesline form Storm. Bennett tries to scramble back into the ring. Storm kicks him in the ribs and sets up Bennett. Storm takes down Bennett with a huge gutwrench suplex to send him down to the canvas. The cover is made hooking the leg on Bennett. Storm gets a two and a half count when Bennett kicks out of the move.
The fans are chanting for the Cowboy to get it together. Storm rams Bennett into the corner and repeated clotheslines in the corner. Ten in total before Bennett falls onto the ground. Storm stomps the fingers of Bennett to draw cheers from the fans. Storm winds up and uppercut to the chest. He does a snap suplex. Bennett is begging off on the canvas. Storm bends down to grab Bennett. Bennett pulls him by the tights and sends him into the corner.
Huge knee lift into the corner waffles Storm and doubles him over. Bennett catches him with a kneelift to the face to drive his enemy down to the canvas. A deep breath comes from Bennett as he hammers Storm’s face. He turns him and brings him down with a reverse neckbreaker. Bennett makes the cover hooking the leg and only gets a two count when Storm kicks out.
Bennett applies a chinlock to try and wear Storm down. Storm fights out from his feet and jawbreaker stuns Bennett. Bennett staggers off of the ropes, RIGHT INTO THE LAST CALL! Storm covers Bennett hooking the leg and scores the pin in 5:50. James Storms pinned Mike Bennett with the Last Call in 5:50(**)
James Storm returns tonight at NAWA WresteClash XI with a huge win. The fans are on their feet applauding Storm. Storm smiles and looks back at them. He’s very pleased to be back in action just as much as they are pleased to see it.
The second of five championship matches take place. The Briscoe Brothers, the Young Bucks, and the NAWA World Tag Team Champions Bad Influence will face off with the gold on the line. Christopher Daniels begins this match with Nick Jackson and Mark Briscoe. A competitor from each team will be in the match at all times, and you can only tag your partner. Nick Jackson stands back to allow Mark Briscoe and Christopher Daniels to exchange punches. Mark rocks Daniels with a huge punch to the face and then turns around to deck Nick Jackson.
Nick Jackson is hurled into the corner and Mark Briscoe follows in with a forward roll into a clothesline. He jabs away at Nick Jackson and snap mares him down to the canvas. The fans are on their feet from the offense of Mark Briscoe. Mark pelts his opponent with a huge uppercut to the chin. Another uppercut to the chin stuns his adversary. Two more uppercuts in succession drill his opponent. Mark sends Nick Jackson into the ropes and leapfrogs over him. He runs into a clothesline from Daniels.
The fans are chanting for the Fallen Angel. Daniels stomps on the back of the head of Mark Briscoe and sets him up. A brain buster is delivered by Daniels. Daniels tags in Kazarian. A backbreaker is set up for a springboard kneedrop to the head. Kazarian catches Nick Jackson with an elbow strike. He pounds away at Jackson and hoists him up. He puts Nick on the top rope. Kazarian goes for a superplex. Nick fires back with a couple of elbow strikes. Mark makes the tag to Jay on the other end. Jay scrambles into the ring and pulls Kazarian off of the ropes so he’s on his shoulders. Springboard cross body block from Nick as Jay drops Kazarian with an electric chair. Nick tries to sneak in a pin, but it’s broken up at the last possible minute.
Jay pounds away at Nick Jackson. He throws Nick into the ropes. Matt pulls Nick out of the way of a flying forearm smash and Jay connects to the ropes. Matt Jackson drops to the arena floor and measures his opponent. SUPERKICK CRACKS JAY AGAINST THE JAW! The Young Bucks step into the ring and DOUBLE SUPERKICK TO KAZARIAN. DOUBLE SUPERKICK TO DANIELS! AND DOUBLE SUPERKICK TO A RECOVERING MARK BRISCOE! The Superkick Party hits WrestleClash XI. Nick Jackson covers Kazarian hooking the leg, but Kazarian drapes his foot over the bottom rope.
Nick hammers Kazarian with a series of elbow drops. Kazarian flies into the ropes. He ducks the attack. Daniels recovers and tags in Kazarian. Nick tags in Matt as well. Matt goes for a superkick to Daniels. Daniels catches the foot and HUGE LARIAT NEARLY RIPS JACKSON’S HEAD OFF OF HIS SHOULDERS! The Fallen Angel steps back with a sadistic grin on his face. He kicks Matt in the ribs and double underhook. Angel’s Wings connects to Matt Jackson. Daniels covers him hooking the leg and here comes Jay Briscoe to break it up.
Jay hammers away between the shoulder blades of Daniels until a low blow doubles him over. Thrust kick to the chest stuns him. Daniels rams Jay into the corner and makes the tag to Kazarian. Daniels is on the top rope and SUPER SUNSET FLIP POWER BOMB BRINGS JAY OUT OF THE CORNER ONTO THE BACK OF HIS HEAD! Kazarian comes off from the other side with a frog-hop elbow drop. He covers Jay hooking the leg, and Brother Mark recovers enough to break up the pin!
Mark grabs Kazarian and goes for a Cutthroat Suplex. Kazarian fights out of it and is shoved off of the ropes. A reverse neckbreaker off of the ropes from Daniels into the STO from Kazarian. The NAWA World Tag Team Champions of the world are on fire. Kazarian picks up Jay and puts him on the top rope. Tag made to Daniels. Superplex is blocked and Jay shoves Kazarian off of the ropes. Daniels does not see it’s Kazarian and HE HITS THE BEST MOONSAULT EVER ON HIS PARTNER!
Daniels realizes what happens and then Jay hits a backspring cross body on Daniels. He covers hooking the leg and gets a two count. SEATED SUPERKICK TO A KNEELING JAY BRISCOE FROM NICK JACKSON! The Young Bucks are still there and Nick and Matt shove Daniels into the corner. Matt is launched into a rana sending Daniels off of the ropes! Nick jumps to the top rope and hits a split legged moonsault. The Bucks now head to the outside and hit springboards from the other end. A splash/legdrop combination move drives Daniels down. Nick covers Daniels hooking the leg for the championships! Jay’s arm shoots over to block the referee’s vision which allows Daniels to roll the shoulder up!
The Bucks are now back into the ring and beating on Jay Briscoe in the center of the ring. Mark is back into this match as well. They go for a double clothesline, but the Briscoes duck. STEREO BACKDROP DRIVERS SEND THE YOUNG BUCKS DOWN! Their necks crack against the canvas. Jay smiles and looks down at Daniels. Dem Boys could be setting up it up. Spiked Jay Driller sends Daniels down! Mark hits a rana to a kneeling Kazarian to take him out. Jay covers Daniels hooking the leg and gets the pin in 17:05. The Briscoe Brothers won the NAWA World Tag Team Titles over the Young Bucks and Bad Influence in 17:05(*** 1/2)
The Briscoe Brothers capture the NAWA World Tag Team Titles for the second time. Jay and Mark step back and roll underneath the bottom rope to hold the belts up. They parade around the ring with the gold lifted over their heads.
The longest reigning champion in NAWA history, the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Prince Devitt, takes on his challenger, Ricochet for the second year in a row. Both Ricochet and Devitt circle each other. They exchange strikes with Ricochet gaining the better of the exchange. He leapfrogs over the charging Devitt. The kick is blocked and Ricochet catches him with a back spin kick! Devitt bounces off of the ropes. Ricochet springboards to the middle rope and connects with a springboard somersault dropkick to wipe his opponent out!
The challenger sends the champion into the ring. Ricochet drives his shoulder into the chest of Devitt and snaps him neck first onto the top rope. Ricochet springboards into the ring. Devitt dodges Ricochet. Ricochet lands on his feet and Devitt hooks Ricochet from behind. He slams Ricochet in the corner. Stinging forearm smashes rattle Ricochet. Devitt hits a vicious snap mare and bounds off of the ropes. Running dropkick to the face sends Ricochet down. Devitt steps back and hits a running kneedrop to the chest. He covers Ricochet hooking the leg and gets a two count.
The challenger struggles to a standing position and eats a roundhouse kick to the side of the head. Multiple roundhouse kicks to the side of the head rock Ricochet. Ricochet swings his fist to the fences. Devitt stands back and kicks Ricochet across the face. The brutality of the blow doubles Ricochet over. Devitt drags Ricochet up to a standing position and drapes him over the top rope.
A huge running kneelift to the back of the head stuns Ricochet. Devitt rolls him over and hammers away at Ricochet. Devitt picks up Ricochet and pulls him into a forearm smash to the top of the head. Vicious cross-face submission hold punishes the challenger. Ricochet pushes his way out of the hold and slumps over onto one knee. Devitt aims and kicks Ricochet in the chest. He steps back off of the ropes and Sling Blade brings the challenger down. Devitt covers Ricochet hooking the leg for a two count.
Devitt rubs the soles of his boots into the eyes of Ricochet and drags him up into a standing position. A hammering blow to the back of the head sends Ricochet into the corner. Devitt works over the challenger and high-angle belly to back suplex. Devitt ascends to the top ropes. Flying double foot stomp misses. Devitt staggers back just in time for Ricochet to nail him with a rolling forearm smash. Ricochet covers Devitt hooking the leg and gets a two and a half count!
The champion’s stunned form rises up to the canvas. Ricochet hammers away at Devitt and throws him into the ropes. Reverse leapfrog and Devitt flies to the outside. Ricochet hits a bullet dropkick to send Devitt crashing to the guardrail. Baseball slide, no Devitt catches the legs and pulls Ricochet back. Ricochet is flung by the legs into the guardrail and he crashes against it like a cannon.
The champion steps back into the ring to regain his wind. Ricochet pulls himself up using the bottom rope. Devitt hammers down across the back of the head and sets up Ricochet. Brain buster brings Ricochet down. He’s drops in the center of the ring. Devitt covers Ricochet hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count.
Devitt pulls the hair out of his eyes and takes a kneelift into the side of the head. He picks Ricochet up and flips him into the buckles hard. Ricochet staggers back out. He’s going for the Bloody Sunday. Ricochet fights out and lands on his feet. REWIND RANA BRINGS DEVITT DOWN! Ricochet scrambles to the top rope. Devitt is perched and 630 Moonsault connects! Ricochet has Devitt down for the cover. Only a two and nine tenths count with the kick out!
The fans sit on the edge of their seats. They thought the match finished with that move. And so did, Ricochet. Ricochet picks up Devitt and runs him into the corner. Ricochet hits a ten count series of punches before dropping down. He hoists Devitt to the top rope. Top-Rope Frankensteiner sends Devitt down! Ricochet crawls over and makes the cover for a two and nine tenths!
Ricochet slaps his hand to his palm and yells “come on” as loud as the fans can hear him. He walks over behind Devitt and hammers him across the back of the head. He sets him up and hammerlock into a German Suplex sends Devitt down to the canvas. Ricochet covers him hooking the leg and once again the champion proves why he has held the belt for that long.
The challenger ascends to the top rope. Devitt pops up with an enzuigiri and runs up the ropes. SUPER DDT SENDS RICOCHET DOWN ON THE ROPES! Ricochet stands on his head before prompting collapsing down onto the canvas. Devitt pulls himself up and almost gets to the top rope. Devitt holds himself up on the top rope and jumps off. Double Foot Stomp collapses the lungs of Ricochet. Ricochet’s prone body looks like something out a murder scene and Devitt covers him, but only gets a two and nine tenths count!
A more serious lateral press cover is made and Ricochet once again squirms out of the move. Devitt’s eyes bulge out and he pushes Ricochet up. He goes for the Reverse Brain Buster. Ricochet squirms back to his feet and waistlocks Devitt. GERMAN SUPLEX SENDS DEVITT DOWN! Devitt drops down onto the back of his head and Ricochet jumps to the top rope. REVERSE 450 SPLASH DELIVERS! It connects with the champion and Ricochet holds him down only to get another two and nine tenths count!
Ricochet breaths in and goes for the palm thrust. Devitt evades the move and knees Ricochet in the back. He sets up Ricochet for the Bloody Sunday one more time. One more time, Ricochet avoids the move and flips Devitt down. Ricochet throws Devitt off into the ropes and kicks him. He hoists him up in a vertical suplex before dropping him with a screwdriver! Holy shit, Devitt’s neck just may have folds out from that move. Ricochet covers Devitt hooking the leg and gains the pin. Ricochet wins the NAWA Cruiserweight Title after a screwdriver in 16:55 over Prince Devitt(**** ½)
Devitt loses the match big time and Ricochet walks out with the NAWA Cruiserweight Championship, ending the over five hundred day title reign. We see the replay of the violent screwdriver which spells doom for the champion.
Two brutal female competitors step into the ring with Mia Stylish squaring off against Kana. Stylish and Kana go into the ring and Stylish stalls for time. Eventually, Kana tires of the stalling and rattles Stylish with a series of kicks. Stylish bounces off of the ropes into a running hip attack. Kana runs over and nails Stylish with a kneelift to the face. Another kneelift to the face before Kana drags Stylish up by the hair and throws her into the corner.
The former multi-time NAWA Women’s champion staggers to a standing position. Kana drills Stylish with repeated forearm smashes to the top of the head. She whips Stylish into the corner hard. Stylish connects with an elbow smash to the back of the head. Discus Clothesline turns into a Fujiwara Armbar from Kana. Stylish squirms over and grabs the ropes just before the hold can be broken.
Kana looks down at the downed Stylish. Stylish favors her shoulder and then locks up with Kana one more time. Stylish goes behind her and waistlock before she pushes Kana off into the ropes. Kana hangs onto the ropes and Stylish rolls over onto her feet. KANA KNEE STRIKES BLASTS STLYISH IN THE JAW! The sickening smile spreads over Kana’s face. She loves just tormenting her opponents and she waits for Stylish to get up. Rapid fire kicks to the ribs punishes Stylish in the corner.
Mia’s night grows progressively worse. She flees the ring to escape the wrath of Kana. Kana gives chase around the ring and nails her adversary with a forearm smash to the top of the head. Multiple forearm smashes repeat their clipping of Stylish. Stylish flies into the ring steps and collide against them at an insane velocity. She slumps over the steps before Kana rolls her into the ring.
Stylish drags her nails on the canvas and begs off. Kana grabs her. Stylish goes to the eyes and hammers the back of Kana’s head. Stylish grabs her and takes down Kana with a high angle belly to back suplex. Stylish drops two elbows down across the back of the head for the cover, and gains a two and a half count off of it. Kana slumps in the corner and Stylish chops Kana in the corner. She hooks Kana and takes her down with a snap mare before hitting a jumping neck snap to further punish her adversary.
Pouring on the punches rattle Kana, with Kana scrambling up to her feet. Stylish winds up and kicks Kana’s ribs in with repeated kicks. She’s mocking Kana and she slaps Kana across the mouth. Stylish grabs Kana and double underhook bridging suplex. She holds Kana down to the canvas and gets a two and a half count when Kana bridges out of the cover.
Sleeeperhold wraps Stylish’s arms around Kana’s neck. Stylish attempts to push Kana down to a kneeling position to cut off the air flow to her brain. Kana struggles her way out of the hold with Stylish putting the pressure against the side of Kana’s head. Kana squirms out of the hold, drawing more heat from the fans. Stylish pushes herself against Kana’s neck and brings her down to a kneeling position.
The fans are losing their minds the more Stylish puts the pressure on the back of Kana’s neck. Kana tries to break the hold. The fans are losing their minds, with Kana hammering her elbows into the side of Stylish’s chest. A series of elbows drills Stylish in the chest and Kana catches her adversary with a huge jawbreaker to bring her enemy down to the canvas.
Both women are up to the canvas. Stylish rushes off of the ropes and YAKUZA KICK OBLITERATES KANA! The fans are booing as Stylish covers Kana hooking the leg. Two and nine tenths count when Stylish pulls Kana up off of the canvas.
The announcers wonder if this is an ideal step for Stylish to piss Kana off like this. Stylish repeatedly slaps her adversary in the side of the head with multiple strikes. She winds up and nails Kana with a spinning back fist. Kana’s lip splits open from the attack. A wicked smile comes to Kana’s face and SHE DECKS STYLISH WITH A HUGE SPINNING BACK FIST PUNCH!
The demon inside of Kana has been unleashed as she drills Stylish with repeated strikes to the chest. Each palm strike sends Stylish into the corner. Kana hurls Stylish hard into the corner chest first. Saito Suplex sends Stylish down. Kana gives a primal war cry and KICKS STYLISH IN THE FACE AS HARD AS POSSIBLE! Kana steps back and takes another deep breath. ANOTHER HUGE KICK RATTLES THE FACE OF STYLISH! A THIRD HUGE KICK FOLLOWS! Kana pulls back and covers Stylish hooking the leg to gain and a two and nine tenths count.
Kana rears back her hand and cracks Stylish in the ribs as hard as possible. A series of strikes follows a spinning back first in the corner which staggers her opponent. Kana smiles wickedly at Stylish and nails her with huge kick to the side of the head. Stylish is launched into the ropes. She goes for a clothesline and Kana ducks it and slaps on a cross-armbreaker! Stylish struggles against Kana’s violent grip. Kana attempts to tear the shoulder out from the socket. Stylish squirms out of the hold and reaches to the ropes for all of her might. Stylish reaches and almost grabs the ropes. She can’t quite get to the ropes so she has no choice other than to tap out! Kana scores the win with the Cross-Armbreaker in 16:09. (**** ¼)
We see Kana rise up to her feet with a bloodied mouth and a satisfied smirk. She obliterates Mia Stylish tonight and moves forward. There will be future challenges for Kana as she moves forward. She could be heading for the NAWA Women’s title.
Kurt Angle lost nearly six months of his career the last time he went one on one against Kevin Steen. Tonight it’s vengeance and Kurt Angle’s quest to regain the NAWA World Championship.
Kevin Steen and Kurt Angle stare down each other. Steen slaps Angle and Angle instantly takes Steen down with a double-leg takedown. Angle applies a keylock to Steen until he struggles and makes it to the ropes. A huge running dropkick sends Steen to staggering back. Steen begs off. Angle resembles a pitbull, beating on Steen and hurling him halfway across the ring. Huge release German suplex sends Steen down onto the canvas.
Steen pulls himself up and Angle drills him with a huge forearm smash. Repeated jabs stuns Steen and Angle hurls him into the corner. Overhead belly to belly suplex sends Steen down. Angle dives at Steen and hits a high cross-body block to send him to the floor. Angle repeats his offense on Steen and punches a knot on the top of his head. The fans are losing their shit as Steen tries to scramble away from Angle. Angle holds onto Steen’s ankle. Steen kicks Angle off and Angle hits the ring steps hard.
Steen breaks the count and leaves Angle on the floor. Angle crawls back into the ring. Steen nails him with a series of kicks to the side of the head. He runs Angle into the corner. A huge kneelift in the corner. Steen doublehooks Angle and brings him down with a power bomb to the side. Steen covers Angle hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count.
Crushing senton flattens all of Angle’s weight underneath Steen. Steen pulls Angle up and headbutts him. Angle drops to his knees and Steen now applies a front face lock before bouncing Angle off of the ropes. A slingshot suplex drills Angle down to the canvas. Steen pulls himself up and waits for Angle to go to his feet. A jab to the back of the head stuns Angle. Steen throws Angle off into the ropes. Running knee in the corner stuns Angle. Steen steps back and delivers a vicious superkick to Angle! Steen covers Angle hooking the leg and gets a two count!
The NAWA International Champion refuses to let Angle’s determination psyche him out. Steen drives his forearm down between Angle’s shoulder blades. Repeated forearms smash against Angle’s back and hurls him into the corner. Steen clotheslines Angle into the corner. He puts Angle on the top rope and then climbs up. Steen hits a Samoan Drop off of the ropes to almost flatten Angle’s body underneath him. Steen covers Angle hooking the leg, and Angle just brings the shoulder up.
Steen drags Angle up to his feet. Angle shoots the leg and gets back into the Ankle Lock! Steen kicks Angle off into the ropes and a swinging sidewalk slam brings Angle down! Steen drags Angle over the ropes and climbs to the top rope. A huge frog splash misses when Angle rolls out of the way. Angle pulls himself up and grabs Steen’s ankle once again. He applies the Ankle Lock with Steen dragging his nails against the ropes. He kicks Angle up into the ropes and does a double leg takedown to bring Angle down. Steen applies an elevated Boston Crab, putting all of his weight on the back of Angle’s neck.
The fans are rallying behind Angle. Steen pushes his knee into the back of Angle’s neck and punishes him even further. Angle fights his way out of the hold and Steen breaks the hold just in time to kick Angle in the ribs. He picks up Angle and throws him into the ropes. Angle catches Steen with a forearm smash when he goes for the Pop-up Power Bomb. He goes for the Angle Slam. Steen drops down and superkick sends Angle down to the canvas. Crushing senton backsplash drives Steen’s full weight down on Angle’s chest. Steen covers Angle’s chest and gets a two and a half count.
Steen picks up Angle’s limp body and then throws him into the ropes. Pop up power bomb smashes Angle down onto the canvas. Steen steps back from Angle’s broken body, and then stands on his face. He picks up Angle and tosses him to the floor! Angle smashes into the mats on the floor!
The International champion leaves the ring and sets up Angle! Angle counters with a catapult sending Steen crashing into the ring steps! Steen’s knee connects with the ring steps! Angle crawls underneath the bottom rope. The referee puts the count on Steen. Steen crawls back into the ring at the count of eight. Punches are blocked and Angle hits the Angle Slam on Steen! Angle is slow to cover and Steen kicks out of the cover before three!
Angle punches away at Steen’s head until a knot rises in the top of it. He hoists up Steen and two German Suplex connect before Steen elbows his way out of a third. Another superkick is ducked and Angle hits the third one. He prepares to go for the Angle Slam! Steen slides down and throws Angle into the ropes. Pop-Up Power Bomb drives Angle down one more time! Steen covers Angle hooking the leg and gets a two and nine tenths count!
The fans are losing their minds and Steen heads to the outside. He is ascending to the top rope and a flying senton misses when Angle rolls out of the way! Angle grabs Steen and PACKAGE PILEDRIVER DRIVES STEEN DOWN! Angle pulls out Steen’s own move after the months Steen uses doing Angle’s own move. Angle covers Steen hooking the leg and gets the pin. Kurt Angle captures the NAWA International Championship over Kevin Steen in 16:57(*** ¼)
We see Kurt Angle finally putting the belt over his shoulder and walking off. He has a limp, but he has the gold. He’s the NAWA International Champion, finally beating Kevin Steen for the gold. He’s acquired a bit of revenge.
The Last Man Standing Match takes place next between Bully Ray and Jeff Hardy. Bully attacks Jeff Hardy on the ramp before the match. He stomps away at Hardy. He hurls Hardy over the guardrail. Hardy nails Bully with a punch to the face and dives off of the railing to take down Bully with a springboard clothesline. Bully Ray scrambles to his feet and Jeff Hardy nails him with a series of punches before throwing him into the ring. Hardy jabs away at Bully Ray and hurls him into the corner. Ray dodges Hardy’s attack in the corner. He runs up the buckles and the Whisper in the Wind sends Bully Ray down to the canvas.
The fans are on their feet and Hardy hammers away at Bully Ray with a series of jabs. He throws Ray into the ropes. Ray dumps Hardy over the top rope to the arena floor. Ray rushes down and kneelifts Hardy in the chest crashing him into the guardrail. Ray drops down to the arena floor and grabs Hardy. He drags him around the ringside area by the multi-colored hair and drives Hardy head first into the top of the steel steps. Hardy almost collapses against the steps. Ray drills him repeatedly with forearms down across the back of the head.
The fans are booing as Bully Ray grabs over a piece of the ringside cable and wraps it around Jeff Hardy’s throat. Hardy struggles with Bully Ray punishing his adversary and driving him down to his knees. Ray repeatedly punches his opponent in the side of the head. He slams Hardy into the ring steps and causes him to slump over. Ray pulls up Jeff Hardy and stomps him in the back of the head to further punish his adversary.
He rolls Jeff Hardy into the ring apron and nails him with a huge kneelift in the chest. Bully Ray grabs a chair and rolls back into the ring with it. He jabs Hardy in the ribs and smacks the chair into the back. Jeff Hardy collapses to his hands and knees. Bully Ray raises the chair over his head and cracks the chair down across the back of Jeff Hardy.
The referee backs Bully Ray back. The standing ten count is put on Jeff Hardy. Hardy scrambles to his feet to break the count at the count of seven. Ray hammers away at Hardy and knocks him to the floor. Ray scoops up Hardy and slams him in the ring steps. Ray climbs to the ring apron and hits a huge splash to Hardy while he’s slumped over the steps! Hardy’s body cracks up against the steps with one of the most sickening shots imaginable.
The referee puts the standing ten count on Jeff Hardy. Hardy crawls back into the ring. Ray now has a toolbox underneath the ring. He waffles Hardy with the toolbox and a hammer comes out. Ray winds up and tries to nail Hardy with the hammer. Hardy dodges the hammer and RUNNING NECKBREAKER TAKES DOWN BULLY RAY! The fans are on their feet to cheer Jeff Hardy. Harry tries to pull himself up, but collapses down onto the canvas. His ribs are aching from the beating he suffered during the early portion of this match. Hardy waits and Bully Ray is up off of the canvas at a count of nine.
Hardy jabs away at Bully Ray and sends him to the arena floor. Ray slumps on the floor and Hardy connects with a springboard 450 splash to wipe his opponent down to the canvas. Ray’s knees buckle out from him. We see Jeff Hardy now going back. Ray pulls himself up as the referee puts the count on him. Only a seven count. Hardy charges Ray and knocks him through the guardrail into the crowd.
Both competitors trade punches through the ramp and up the ring steps into the stands. The fans rally behind both Hardy and Ray. Ray headbutts Hardy as they are fighting on the balcony area. Three clothesline rock Hardy. The Bully nails him in the throat and grabs a fan’s camera. He beats down Hardy with the camera, causing Hardy to stagger back. Ray slams Hardy through the doors of the arena and the two of them fight on the outside. We head to another camera where both are in the arena!
Ray sets up Hardy for a piledriver on the pavement outside. Jeff Hardy counters with a high back body drop. Bully Ray staggers up and Jeff Hardy beats on Ray before the two of them fight their way back into the arena. They go through the locker room and keep pounding on each other. Ray nails Hardy in the ribs with a tool cart to send him down the steps! The concussive blast forces Hardy to lie at the bottom of the steps and the referee putting a ten count. Hardy scrambles to his feet!
We are back in the arena as Bully Ray yells at the stage hands to get him a table! They drag a table over and now Bully Ray grabs a stage light. Hardy dropkicks the stage light into Ray’s face. Hardy nails Ray with a Twist of Fate on the stage! Jeff Hardy pulls out the ladder used for early during the Race to the Top Ladder Match! The fans are on their feet as Hardy sets up Bully Ray on the table!
Hardy ascends, but Bully Ray does as well. Both are trading punches. Bully Ray flies off of the ladder and he crashes through the table. SWANTON BOMB CONNECTS TO THE DOWNED BULLY RAY! Both men are down and the referee puts the standing ten count on them.
The count of nine brings Jeff Hardy up. Bully Ray is out of it, and he has no choice, but to succumb to the savage beating during this match. The ten count passes and Jeff Hardy gets the win tonight over Bully Ray! Jeff Hardy defeated Bully Ray in a Last Man Standing Match in 17:11(****)
The paramedics come out to check on a downed Jeff Hardy. Hardy’s beaten up, battered, abused, but there’s still some fight left in him.
It’s time, the one we’ve all been waiting for. The NAWA World Championship is on the line when Robert Roode defends the NAWA World Championship against Miles Stylish. Roode’s defeated everyone over the past ten months, but not Miles Stylish.
Both men stare down each other as the ring announcer does boxing style introductions. Roode and Stylish lock horns into the match. Roode shoves Stylish into the corner. Stylish waits for Roode to charge him and an armdrag sends Roode down. Roode bounces up and Stylish takes him down with two more armdrags before waiting for Roode to stagger back. Stylish chops away at Roode and sends him into the ropes. Leapfrog sends Roode into the ropes. Roode catches Stylish in a tilt-a-whirl but Stylish snaps off a spinning headscissors.
Stylish grabs Roode and headlock takedown brings him down. Roode fights out of the corner. Stylish catches Roode with a forearm smash and takes him down to the canvas in an abdominal stretch cradle. Roode kicks out of the cover. Stylish kicks him in the chest and throws him off into the corner. Running forearm smash connects and now Stylish sets him up. Swinging snap suplex brings Roode down. Stylish covers Roode hooking the leg and gets a two count off of the cover.
Roode drags himself up off of the canvas. A repeated series of forearm smashes stun his opponent. Stylish grabs Roode in a wristlock and runs up the ropes. He jumps off and pulls off a satellite headscissors to Roode. Two more spinning headscissors to Roode. Roode begs off and Stylish throws him into the corner. Uppercut in the corner. Stylish hooks Roode and goes for a springboard swinging bulldog. Roode hangs onto the top rope and Stylish collapses down to the canvas.
A HUGE CLOTHESLINE BY ROODE OBLITERATES STYLISH! The fans are on their feet, with Roode standing over Stylish. He stomps away at Stylish and hoists him up. He hoists up Stylish for a delayed vertical suplex and drops him down to the canvas. Stylish favors his ribs from getting thrown through glass two weeks ago. Roode drills him with a knee to the ribs and drags Stylish up. Snap mare brings him down and Roode bounces off of the ropes. A running forearm smash to the chest.
Roode stands on the throat of Stylish and drags him up to a standing position. He hoists him up and brings him down with a slingshot suplex! Stylish rolls over with Roode applying a bodyscissors to properly work over the rib cage. Stylish struggles as Roode puts the pressure on the ribs of his adversary! Stylish fights out of the move. Roode catches him with a backbreaker as Stylish comes back off of the ropes. He holds on and hits a second backbreaker before hitting a side slam. Roode covers Stylish for a two cout.
Kneedrop punishes the former NAWA World Champion further. Roode repeatedly slams his fist against the top of his opponent’s head. Roode grabs Stylish and DDT brings Stylish down! Roode rolls over Stylish and gets a two count. He picks up Stylish and full nelson applied. Roode adds a bodyscissors and jars at the ribs his opponent. Roode works his opponent back and forth down onto the canvas.
Bow and arrow submission further punishes the ribs and back of Stylish. Roode breaks the hold and elbows his opponent into the ropes. Roode picks up Stylish and hoists him on the top rope. He ascends to the top rope and goes for a superplex. Stylish blocks the move and shoves Roode off of the top rope. Stylish jumps off the top rope. Frankensteiner is blocked and ROODE HITS A POWER BOMB/LUNG BLOWER HYBRID! Stylish’s world has been rocked and Roode covers Stylish hooking the leg to get a two and nine tenths count.
Roode applies a bodyscissors and more punches rattle the rib cage of the challenge. Roode picks up Stylish and slingshot suplex delivers. Roode floats over and puts some pressure on the chest of Stylish. He covers and gets a two and nine tenths count. Roode drills the forearms, busting the mouth and nose of Stylish over. Roode covers Stylish once again and gets a two and nine tenths count!
The champion’s brow contorts. Roode’s determination increases when he hooks Stylish. Pumphandle Powerslam drives the challenger down. The champion hooks the leg of the challenger and Stylish rolls the shoulder up off of the canvas. Roode stands on the face of the champion and hoists him up. Pumphnandle Power Slam is countered. Roode turns around and Stylish flips Roode down with a Frankensteiner sending him flying down to the canvas.
Both competitors are down for the standing ten count. Stylish drags himself to a kneel and then catches Roode with a couple of forearms to the face. Stylish knees Roode in the chest and hoists him up. Las Vegas Trauma gets countered when Stylish’s ribs are too tender to lift up Roode. Stylish is pushed off of the ropes and LARIAT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Roode picks up Stylish and flips him over to go for the cover. He hooks the leg for the cover and gets a two and a nine tenths count!
The fans are losing their minds. Roode pulls the limp and battered body of Stylish off of the canvas. He hammers Stylish with repeated forearm smashes to the face. He throws Stylish off into the ropes. Death Valley Driver connects to Stylish! Roode covers Stylish hooking the leg and once again the champion pulls his shoulder up off of the canvas!
Roode drives his fist into the side of the head of Stylish. He shoves Stylish into the corner. Roode charges Stylish in the corner. The challenger drops down and Roode hits the corner at a hard velocity. Roode’s knee crashes into the buckles. Stylish climbs to the top rope with Roode and drills him with repeated punches. He goes for a superplex. Roode blocks it. Spinebuster off of the second rope drives Stylish down off of the canvas! The ring shakes when Stylish’s spine just connects with the canvas! Roode drags himself onto Stylish and covers him. Just barely gets the shoulder up at a two and nine tenths count.
Running kick to the head of Stylish when he tries to sit up. Roode picks up Stylish and beats him down. He full nelsons Stylish and hits a huge full nelson slam to send Stylish crashing down to the canvas. Roode pumps his hand in the air and draws heat from the fans. He kicks Stylish and goes for the Death Valley Driver. Stylish slides down and sends Roode off of the ropes. Onto the shoulders for the Las Vegas Trauma, no Roode elbows Stylish and forces him down to the canvas. Cross-face submission hold traps the challenger for the NAWA World Championship!
Blood spills down the busted up nose and mouth. Roode cranks on the hold and forces Stylish down. He’s won with this cross-face submission move. Stylish tries to push himself out of the hold. He comes close to grabbing the ropes. Roode drags Stylish back into the center of the ring to draw massive heat from the fans. Roode pulls himself away from his opponent and stomps his adversary’s back. He drags Stylish up off of the canvas and sends him into the corner at a sickening velocity. Roode takes down Stylish and cross-face is slapped on one more time!
The fans rally behind the challenger. They chant “Five-Times” for the fifth NAWA World Championship reign Stylish is going for. Roode yells no and yells for the referee to check him! Stylish remains in this match, just by the skin of his teeth. Roode pushes his full force down into the back of the neck of his adversary. Roode rocks back to tilt his full weight into the back of the head of his adversary.
Rapid chanting continues the deeper Roode pours on the pressure. Stylish digs his nails into the canvas and takes a deep breath to try and break out of the hold. He makes it to the ropes in a mad scramble. The referee forces Roode to break the hold. Roode feels himself down and he picks up Stylish. He grabs Stylish and DEATH VALLEY DRIVER CONNECTS! The fans are booing as Roode covers Stylish hooking the leg to get the pin!
No, wait, the foot reaches the bottom rope! Roode raises his hand. The referee informs Roode differently! Roode spits at the downed Stylish. He runs over to Stylish and STYLISH SHOOTS UP WITH A DOUBLE LEG CRADLE INTO A JACK-KNIFE CRADLE! Two and nine tenths count before Roode barely scrambles out!
Roode’s confidence shakes at that near flashpin. Stylish chops away at Roode and yells for him to come get so. Roode goes for a clothesline but Stylish ducks it. He hits a backspin DDT to drive Roode down! The NAWA World Champion crawls underneath the bottom rope!
The champion throws his hands up and pulls the belt away from the time keeper. Roode departs down the ramp as the referee puts the count on. Stylish is still recovering from that last flurry of offense. Roode waves to the challenger and the referee until he runs into James Storm who blocks Roode’s progress.
Roode turns around and steps back. His former Beer Money partner stands on the ramp and Roode yells for Storm to hit him. Storm remains immobile and Stylish scrambles down the ramp to grab Roode before throwing him back into the ring. The champion staggers back and Stylish ragtags him with punches. He throws Roode off into the corner hard.
Roode comes back with a back elbow smash. He connects with a stun gun to the challenger for the NAWA World Champion. Roode raises his hand up and yells “one more time” waving his arms up. He’s going for that Death Valley Driver again. He hoists up the battered challenger. Death Valley Driver no Stylish slides down the back. REWIND RANA TURNED INTO A TRIANGLE CHOKE!
The Las Vegas Trauma just wasn’t happening with the pounding Stylish took to his back and ribs. He’s pulls out a move out of the playback of one of his greatest rivals, Harry Harris! Stylish cranks on Roode. Stylish holds on the hold and Roode tries to fight out. He can’t reach the ropes. Roode has no choice but to tap out. The fans jump to their feet. Miles Stylish captures the NAWA World Champion after tapping out Robert Roode with the Triangle Choke in 30:43(*****)
Five times, a record setting five times, Miles Stylish has won the NAWA World Title. He accepts the belt, holding it in his hands after two years of fighting back to the top. Robert Roode clutches his neck and yells “NO!”
James Storm steps into the ring and fist bumps the new NAWA World Champion before stepping back into the ring. Storm calls for the time keeper to hand him a beer bottle. Roode begs off, yelling “no” at James Storm. Almost a year ago, Robert Roode has broken up Beer Money, and waffled James Storm with a beer money. For one solid year, Robert Roode has avoided retribution, but tonight he’s lost the NAWA World Championship.
Roode yells “Beer Money” and waves his hands. He raises his hands. James Storm yells “BEER” before clocking Robert Roode in the head with the beer bottle to a thunderous pop from the fans! We see Robert Roode lying on ring, surrounded by broken glass. Storm crouches down and yells “Money” in Roode’s downed face.
We see Miles Stylish holding the NAWA World Title Belt. Our one lingering image is the Franchise Player of this company back as the champion one more time. What a night! Good night everyone! Thanks for watching!
