WWF - Alternate Universe Mode:
Present Day
This is an alternate WWF circuit, set in the present day. I will be using current WWF/WWE superstars and will be brining in some 'legends' and other talent over time.
We will be running Monday Night Raw, Friday Night Smackdown, both of which will have 6 cards. Plus we will have PPV matches at regular intervals (once every 6 to 8 weeks)
I do not like the current 'brand division', so all superstars will compete across all shows, and all titles will be represented
We will be using the 'contract' system and each new superstar will be signed to a 12 month contract, plus extensions if they chose to re-sign.
I will not force anyone to sign, and if they choose to quit or leave, we'll deal with it. The only exception if the superstar is a title holder, then he or she will continue to perform until the title changes hands.
The characters of Vince and the rest of the McMahon family will be treated as secondary backstage characters, so don't look for any 'authority'... at least not quite yet.
Here is a list of the on-screen personas:
James Tunney: Son of former WWF President Jack Tunney, and the current WWF President
Ringside Announcer: Robert Evans (Raw) and Keith Blanchard (no relation to Tully Blanchard) (Smackdown)
Raw Interview Segment: Kelly Davis
Smackdown Interview Segment: Patrick Ryan
Raw Commentators: Jerry Lawler/Jim Ross
Smackdown Commentators: John Bradshaw Layfeld/Michael Cole

'Good evening, my name is James Tunney and hopefully you'll be seeing a lot of me, in the future. My father, Jack Tunney had one single vision: To bring you the absolute best in professional wrestling, and we aim to do exactly that, each and every time.
Yes it's true that the World Wrestling Federation has hit some low points over the recent timetable, and we plan on rectifying that and returning our organization to the golden days that my father oversaw during his tenure.
We will broadcast two shows every week. Of course our flagship show, Monday Night Raw will be broadcast, naturally, Monday nights and we will have a brand new show entitled Friday Night Smackdown, both will be aired each week, right on this station.
Both of these shows will allow us to showcase the next generation of WWF Superstars, and please join us next week on November 4, as we will broadcast Monday Night Raw, live from the Hammerstein Ballroom, right here in the heart of New York and be sure to stay tuned for an announcement regarding a tournament to crown a brand new WWF Heavyweight Champion, as well as the WWF Tag Team Titles
Thank you for your time, and we'll see you next week'

Heck yeah, love that starting roster. Thanks. I tried getting more superstars, but many were not willing to sign, so this is what we're stuck with.
Been literally years since I ran a circuit, so I may be a bit rusty for the next few cards or so

As of right now, since I have a lot on my plate, I am only going to be running RAW. I will run Smackdown later on

Monday Night Raw - 11/04/2019
The WWF logo appears on the screen as a deep and booming voice says 'The World Wrestling Federation is back and badder than ever'
The opening credits roll and the camera zooms over the Hammerstein Ballroom, as pyrotechnics go off. The arena is full of cheering fans displaying signs of their favorite superstars.
A grey-haired, middle-aged gentleman wearing a suit and tie, is already in the ring with a big smile and holding a microphone.
'Good evening and welcome to the Hammerstein Ballroom right here in New York city'
*Sproadic applause*
'And welcome to the return of the World Wrestling Federation'
*Loud cheers from the audience*
'My name is James Tunney, and like my father the late Jack Tunney, I have been appointed to act as president of the World Wrestling Federation'.
'I know we've hit some very low points in our history and in fact, we had to close our doors for a few years. But the WWF is resiliant and we will again climb to great heights and tonight we celebrate our rebirth'.
'Speaking of the rebirth, in just 6 short weeks, we will be hosting our first PPV, aptly named 'Ressurection', and on that night, we will crown a brand new WWF Heavyweight as well as WWF Tag Team Champions'
'Over the next several weeks, we will be having a series of matches in which you will see superstars compete and the winners will advance to the main event of Ressurection and will compete in a Fatal 4 Way Ladder Match for the World Wrestling Federation Heavyweight Title'
'And likewise, we will do the same for the WWF Tag Team Titles and we also plan on having a Battle Royale to crown a brand new InterContinental Champion'
'But right now let's talk about the present. Let's talk about Monday Night Raw!'
'We have a great show in store for you folks this evening and will like to take the time to introduce to the voice of the WWF and you can hear them each and every week as they will call the matches.....Ladies and Gentlemen, Mr. Jerry 'The King' Lawler'
*Jerry enters the arena to a chorus of boos* as he makes his way over to the announce table and dons on a headset
'And his commentating partner... Good ol' JR...Mr. Jim Ross'
*JR gets a standing ovation as he sits next to Jerry Lawler and puts on his own headset*
'And we will also like to introduce our ringside announcer, Mr. Kelly Kelly Davis'
We have a great card lined up for you folks tonight, so thank you for joining us and enjoy the show --------------------- /Commercial Break/ --------------------- The Revival VS. The Golden Truth
This match was just a straight-up brawl, both in and out of the ring, with both teams gaining the upper-hand, at times.
Dash nearly got a 3-count, early on, with a top rope elbow drop, but R-Truth was able to break up the count at the last moment. Goldust makes the tag to R-Truth, who nearly got a 3-count himself, after nearly decapitating Dash Wilder with a vicious lariet, until Dawson made the save
Truth goes for a flying clothesline, but Wilder counters with a powerslam, but only got a 2 count as Truth managed to power his way out.
The Golden Truth put up a good effort, but in the end, it was not their night as they fell victim to The Revival
The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) defeated Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth) when Dawson made Goldust submit to a Fujiwara armbar in 0:19:03. Rating: *** 3/4
** Aftermath **
After The Revival finished celebrating and left the ring, R-Truth came to check on a very frustrated Goldust. R-Truth extended his hand to help Goldust to his feet, only to be met with The Curtain Call, as Goldust exits the ring laughing, R-Truth was left lying motionless in the ring --------------------- /Commercial Break/ --------------------- Rusev vs John Cena
While Cena physically dominated the match, in reality he was facing two opponents: Rusev and biased ref Danny Davis, who did everything he could to try and halt Cena.
John Cena caught Rusev off guard early in the match with a belly-to-belly suplex, followed with a F-U that should have won the match, if not for Danny Davis and his unwillingness to count the full three count, allowing Rusev to kick out, after what would have been a 7-count
Cena furiously shoved Davis to the ground, who threatened immediant disqualification for assaulting an official
The bickering allowed Rusev to sneak behind Cena and catch him in an inside cradle, while Davis attempted to administer a fast-count, but Cena kicked out at 2 and 2/3
Finally Cena was able to regain the upper-hand and catch Rusev with an electric chair facebuster. After seeing Rusev was out cold, Davis begrudingly did a 3 count and awarded Cena with the victory.
John Cena pinned Rusev after an electric chair facebuster in 0:12:02. Rating: *** 1/2 --------------------- /Commercial Break/ --------------------- The Bar VS. American Alpha
On the way to the ring, Sheamus stops to heckle a young ring-side fan, grabbing an unflattering poster, before ripping it in half and throwing it on the ground. But during American Alpha's entrance, they paused with the fan to sign an autograph and snap a selfie.
Once in the ring, they glare at each other until Danny Davis motions for the bell to ring, offically starting the match
Jordon picks up Sheamus and delivers a powerslam followed by an elbow drop, but he was able to roll out of the way at the last moment. Sheamus follows up with a European uppercut flying lariet.
Sheamus was able to apply a Texas Cloverleaf, as Jason Jordon was able to make his way to the ropes after 9 seconds, but Danny Davis refused to command Sheamus to break the hold.
Finally Sheamus breaks the hold, hits Jordan with a backbreaker and tags out to Cesaro
Jason was finally able to get the upperhand, knocking Cesaro out of the ring with a dropkick as Sheamus went to check on his partner.
Jordan exits the ring, grabs Sheamus and whips him right into Cesaro, as the fans in attendance cheer. Sheamus was furious and charges towards Jordon, who grabs him, and throws him into the ring ramp as he clutches his shoulder in pain.
The distraction was enough time for Cesaro to grab Jordon, toss him back into the ring and climbs through the ropes as Sheamus shakes off the cobwebs and climbs back onto the ring apron
Cesaro catches Jordon in a scorpion deathlock, but releases the hold nearly half a minute later.
As he gloats to the crowd, Jordon is able to tag out to Chad Cable who takes Cesaro down with a running bulldog
Sheamus runs into the ring and lays out Jason Jordan with an inverted DDT. Jason Jordon runs out to intervene, but is halted by Danny Davis, allowing Cesaro and Sheamus to double-team Gable.
Danny Davis turns around long enough to see Sheamus on the ring apron, acting like nothing had happened.
Sheamus executes a running powerslam and pins Gable, using his legs on the ring rope as leverage, which Davis ignored and aministered the count, but he was able to kick out at 2 1/2.
Gable tags out to Jordan, as Sheamus violently whips him into the turnbuckle and charges him with a running kneelift.
Sheamus executes a somersault slam and pins him for the 3-count
The Bar (Sheamus and Cesaro) defeated American Alpha (Chad Gable and Jason Jordan) when Sheamus pinned J. Jordan after a somersault slam in 0:13:20. Rating: *** 1/4 --------------------- /Commercial Break/ --------------------- Sami Zayn vs Titus O'Neil
Sami took control of the match early on executing a dropkick and leg lariet, as well as a Blue Thunder Bomb, but only got 2 count.
Zayn goes for a vertical suplex, but Titus O'Neil was not only able to reverse it, but followed up with a powerslam. Zayn whipped him into the turnbuckle and charged towards him, but O'Neil was able to move out of the way as Zayn ran chest-first into the turnbuckle
O'Neil took him down with an atomic drop and followed up with a kneedrop, but Zayn rolled out of the way
Zayn executed a lariet and followed through with a legdrop
O'Neil caught him with a DDT, and placed him on the turnbuckle and delivered a superplex, but got only a 2 count
Out of frustration, Zayn unloaded on the referee, throwing him out of the ring, earning a DQ
Titus O'Neil defeated Sami Zayn by disqualification in 0:13:16. Rating: * 3/4 --------------------- /Commercial Break/ --------------------- Luke Gallows vs Samoa Joe
Samoa Joe goes for a powerslam, but Luke Gallows counters with a lariet, which Joe ducks under and catches Gallows in a crucifix, but only gets a one count.
Joe attemmpts to throw Gallows into a turnbuckle, but is reversed. Luke executes a flying clothesline, but the monster Samoa Joe does not even flinch.
Luke Gallows manages to finally take him down with a choke slam, as Samoa Joe rolls out of the ring to collect his thoughts and regroup. Gallows follows him outside as they trade blows and the crowd cheers as he smashes Joe's head into the ring ramp.
They were so busy brawling, they didn't even care that the ref counted them out, and continued to trade punches all the way backstage
Samoa Joe and Luke Gallows battled to a double countout in 0:03:32. Rating: * 1/2 -------------------- /Commercial Break/ --------------------- Apollo Crews vs Zack Ryder
Our final match for the evening was all over the place. Apollo Crews hit Ryder with a dropkick that sent him flying through the ropes, then climbed the turnbuckle and executed a perfecty timed moonsault and then whips Zach Ryder into the guard rail, as referee Mike Sparks starts to count.
They climb back into the ring, but Crews gets caught in the ropes, as Zach Ryder takes advantage of the situation by nailing him with a DDT and then proceeds to taunt the crowd.
Ryder picks up Crews and delivers a swinging neckbreaker. He paused to go to the front row and heckle some fans and the distraction proved useful as Apollo Crews was able to regroup and catch Zach Ryder with a facebuster
Once back in the ring, Ryder delivers another neckbreaker and then proceeds to strut around the ring, as the fans boo
Apollo Crews whips Zach Ryder into the turnbuckle and charges shoulder-first right into his midsection. Crews wastes no time in hoisting Ryder on the turnbuckle and executing a superplex, but ony got a 2 count as Zach Ryder kicked out.
Zach Ryder was able to counter with a powerslam, followed by the Elbro Drop to gain the victory
Zack Ryder pinned Apollo Crews with the Elbro Drop in 0:11:51. Rating: **** 1/4 --------------------- Overall Card: **3/4
