From 2002 through 2017, with several significant breaks along the way, I did ten years of the New Age Wrestling Alliance cards. At the end of Season Eleven, I decided to step off into the sunset gracefully. To be honest, I was very much burned out on the entire wrestling thing and most certainly the writing a fictional wrestling promotion thing. So, I thought I would never return.
But you know what they say about retirements in wrestling.
I'm pleased to announced that NAWA Season Twelve will begin publication on January 3rd, 2020. Which is eighteen years ago to the date where the first NAWA card posted.
I have no delusions about that I'm going to ever catch up to real time. Cards shall be posted as time and interest demands.
Also, in the past, I focused on these huge match write ups. Which, back when I was younger seemed like a good idea. Back when I was full of the good ol' P and V. This rebirth of the NAWA will be more story based than match based. I doubt I have it in me to do the big match write ups, although I may break them out for the bigger blockbuster matches to make them seem more special. We'll see what happens.
