NAWA WrestleClash XII-July 21st, 2013.
Hype for tonight, the biggest Pay Per View of the New Age Wrestling Alliance, and the Season 12. The NAWA World Title will be on the line inside of a Steel Cage Match. Kevin Steen will challenge Prince Devitt for the gold. Austin Aries and Harry Harris will square off in a Streetfight. If Aries wins, then Harris is gone as Commissioner and Aries will be getting an NAWA World Title Shot. If Harris wins, then Mia Stylish will get one final match with Austin Aries. Also, Ricochet tries to avenge his injuries at the hands of Miles Stylish and take the NAWA Television Title. Five big championship matches tonight, and lets head down to the ring for the first of five.
The Unbreakable Machines of Brian Cage and Michael Elgin step in and defend the NAWA World Tag Team Titles against the fan favorite duo of D’Angelo Dinero and Sedrick Skyhawk. Skyhawk and Dinero keep Elgin off balance in the early stages of the match with double team moves. Quick tags, back and forth, until Elgin catches Skyhawk and hits a stun gun. Elgin pounds away on Skyhawk and hits a belly to back suplex to drive him down for a two count. Tag made to Cage, who rag dolls Skyhawk around the ring. Cage beats on Skyhawk, and goes for a corner clothesline. Skyhawk dodges the move and pulls out a swinging neckbreaker. He tags in D’Angelo Dinero. Dinero runs wild on the champions.
He knocks Elgin off the ring apron and walks into a Discus Clothesline by Cage. Cage picks up Dinero and hoists him up. Cage does ten squats while holding up Dinero in a suplex and drives him down. Cage picks up Dinero up like he’s nothing and rag dolls him into the corner. The tag is made to Michael Elgin. Cage slams Dinero down and Elgin hits a somersault senton brings him down. Elgin stomps down onto the chest of Dinero and pulls Dinero up off of the canvas. Chops in the corner and Elgin throws Dinero into the corner. Corner charge avalanche and a pump splash. Elgin covers Dinero for a two and a half count kicking out.
Elgin tags in Cage and passes Dinero off. Cage hammers away at Dinero with huge forearm smashes and a huge leaping shoulder block. Cage picks up Dinero and Canadian Backbreaker applied. Tag to Elgin who hits a springboard legdrop to Dinero. Elgin covers and gets a two count. Elgin picks up Dinero in a waistlock and a throwing German Suplex into the corner. Cage grabs Dinero behind. Skyhawk enters the ring and the referee cuts him off. This allows the Unbreakable Machines to beat down Dinero in the corner. Elgin sets up Dinero and Electric Chair suplex before Elgin rolls over and gets a two count.
Cage is tagged into the ring and hoists up Dinero with a huge throw into the corner. The fans are chanting for Dinero with Skyhawk trying to rally them on. Cage pounds away at Dinero in the corner and charges. Dinero dodges and Cage hits the corner. Dinero scrambles over and makes the hot tag to Sedrick Skyhawk. Skyhawk leapfrogs over Cage and then comes back off of the ropes. Jumping European Uppercut drops Cage to one knee. Skyhawk hits a DDT to Cage and climbs to the top rope. Moonsault delivered to Cage! Elgin enters the ring and Skyhawk catches him with a series of jabs. A running knee lift sends Elgin to the outside and backs off. Dinero rushes into the ring and somersault senton knocks Elgin out.
Skyhawk kicks Cage and BRUSH WITH GREATNESS BRINGS HIM DOWN! Skyhawk covers Cage and gets a two count. Now, Skyhawk heads to the outside, but Cage is up. Skyhawk jumps up into the large arms of Cage and overhead belly to belly suplex. Dinero jumps into the ring and is caught with an overhead belly to belly suplex to Cage as well. Cage picks up Skyhawk and hurls him into Dinero while in the corner. Cage hooks Skyhawk in a vertical suplex, but Skyhawk kicks down the back. Skyhawk hits Cage with a high knee to the back of the head. Dinero is back in position and DDE connects in the corner. Skyhawk hits a spinning Brush with Greatness! Dinero and Skyhawk ascend the buckles from each other. Frog splash from Dinero connects. Fallen Star connects. Skyhawk covers and just barely manages to hold Cage down for the pin as Dinero baseball slides Elgin to the floor. Sedrick Skyhawk and D’Angelo Dinero captured the NAWA World Tag Team Titles over the Unbreakable Machines in 14:40(*** ½)
The reign of the Unbreakable Machines is ended and Skyhawk and Dinero take the belts. They went from a reluctant tag team to a top tag team. Skyhawk finally has gold back around his waist, as does Dinero. Two former NAWA World Champions joined forces and has become the NAWA World Title. Cage is up despite that barrage of finishers, and is fuming like an angry bull. Skyhawk and Dinero double dropkick Cage to the floor and then hurls Elgin on top of him.
The next match is two former tag team partners squaring off against each other. The Motor City Machine Guns were one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling, but their partnership dissolved. Now, Alex Shelley became the NAWA Cruiserweight Title and is looking to prove to Chris Sabin who carried the tag team. Shelley and Sabin have a bit of a mirror match to start with. They trade holds on the canvas, until Shelley wrestles Sabin down and hits a number of knee strikes to punish his opponents. Sabin pops back up and a dropkick to Shelley. Frankensteiner and a series of punches. Sabin grabs the arm of Shelley and rolls him up with a La Magistral Cradle for a two count. Shelley pops back up and Sabin chops him a couple more times. Off into the ropes. The head is ducked and Shelley kneelifts Sabin in the face. Cross-armed neckbreaker brings Sabin down and gets a two count!
Shelley stomps away at the back of the head of Sabin. Shelley picks up Sabin and gutwrench suplex brings him over. Straight-jacket submission hold grounds Sabin. Sabin tries to fight out. Shelley slams him into the corner and a running double knee lift drives him into the corner. Shelley picks up Sabin and Falcon Arrow brings him down. Shelley covers Sabin and gets a two count! Shelley knows how tough Sabin can be, but Shelley pounds him down to the canvas. Shelley picks up Sabin onto his shoulders. Sabin fights out and sunset flip gets a two count! Shelley kicks Sabin in the ribs coming off of the ropes.
Sabin is kicked to his knees and superkick drives him in the face. Shelley cockily covers Sabin and gets a two count. Crucifix into a series of elbow strikes, and Shelley rolls Sabin into a pinning combination for a two count. Shelley kicks Sabin in the ribs a couple more times and hurls him into the corner. Running knee strike stuns Sabin in the corner. He picks up Sabin and connects with a twisting suplex into a backbreaker. Shelley grabs the legs of Sabin and rolls him over into a Boston Crab. Sabin is being worn down and fights to the ropes. He makes it, just barely, breaking the hold. Shelley picks up Sabin and sets him up with a series of knee strikes. Attempted Sliced Bread #2 is avoided. Sabin flips Shelley over onto his stomach.
Up to his feet and Sabin hits a series of elbow strikes to Shelley. Off into the ropes and tilt a whirl into a suplex. Sabin covers Shelley and gets a two count! Sabin springboards to the outside and missile dropkick. He covers Shelley and gets a two count. Sabin picks Shelley up off of the canvas and chops rattle him in the chest. He throws Shelley into the corner. Superkick rocks Shelley. Sabin picks up Shelley. Cradle Shock is avoided when Shelley slips down the back door. Shelley hits a running knee lift to the back of the head and hoists Sabin up to the top rope. Superplex is avoided and Sabin shoves him off. Missile Dropkick is avoided. Shelley kicks Sabin in the ribs and then picks up Sabin. Northern Lights Bomb brings him down. Shelley covers Sabin and gets a two and nine-tenths count.
A series of stomps rocks down to the back of Sabin’s head and Shelley lifts him onto the shoulders. Sabin slides down the back and shoves Shelley into the ropes. Cradle Shock brings him down. Out of nowhere! Sabin covers Shelley hooking the leg and scores the pin in 13:55. Chris Sabin captured the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Match over Alex Shelley(****)
Two championship matches and two title changes. Chris Sabin has finally won his first singles match and beat Alex Shelley. Shelley sits up, in shock. He acknowledges Sabin with a nod, as if to say that he got him.
The next match is a Race to the Top Ladder Match. James Storm, Samoa Joe, Mia Stylish, Bully Ray, Robert Roode, and Johnny Glory. Hanging above the ring is golden ticket which whoever wins this match can cash in for an NAWA World Titles at any time during Season 13 of the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Beginning on the first Glory of the year all the way to WrestleClash XIII, they can cash in.
The bell rings, and James Storm and Robert Roode renew all hostilities with punches. Mia Stylish is thrown to the floor by Bully Ray and Johnny Glory dives to avoid Samoa Joe. Joe and Bully Ray cross paths and both men punch away at each other, until Joe hurls him into the corner. Running clothesline into the corner. Glory jumps into the ring, but Joe catches Glory and hoists him over the top rope onto the brawling bodies of Roode and Storm.
Mia Stylish slides a ladder into the ring. Joe pounds away at her with punches. Stylish slumps down onto the canvas and throws Mia into the opposite corner. Corner clothesline is avoided. Mia hits a knee strike to the back of the head and a series of kicks to Joe. Mia climbs to the second rope and leapfrogs over Joe. Joe catches Mia coming off of the second rope with a springboard and hurls her over the top rope with a modified T-Bone suplex to the floor.
Bully Ray has fist wrapped up in a chain. Ray enters the ring and clubs Samoa Joe across the back of the head. Joe is sent crashing into the corner and Ray hammers away at him. Kneelift rocks him, hard in the ribs, and doubles him over. Another couple of punches and Ray is back around. James Storm returns to the ring and kicks Bully Ray in the back of the head. Both men exchange chops with each other.
Robert Roode slides into the ring and sets up the ladder while James Storm and Bully Ray are fighting with each other. Storm hits an inverted atomic drop and a huge clothesline. Roode has the ladder set up and he ascends, straight to the top for the golden ticket. We see Johnny Glory rush up a ladder bridge set up on the outside and jump up to catch Roode. Both men are pounding each other on the ladder. Samoa Joe is back up and he shoves the ladder over and sent Robert Roode and Johnny Glory crashing over the top rope.
The ladder is set up by Samoa Joe. James Storm comes in and beats down Joe with a series of punches. Storm throws Joe into the ropes. Leapfrog over his charging body and Joe hits one of the ladders which had been set up in the corner. Storm hits a leaping double-knee gutbuster and stares high to the sky. Storm climbs, high, getting closer and closer. We see Bully Ray return. Storm fights him and knocks him off of the ladder. Mia Stylish rushes back in and goes up. Storm kicks Mia off of the ladder. She hangs on and boosts herself back to chop away on James Storm. Storm rams Stylish head first into the top of the ladder. She fights out and kicks Storm in the leg. Bully Ray rushes over and shoves the ladder over, to send Storm and Stylish crashing down.
Joe is back up and he locks the rear naked choke on Bully Ray. If he puts Bully Ray out, he leaves it open to climb the ladder. Out of the corner of the ring, we see Johnny Glory creeping in. He sets up the ladder underneath the championship belt. Glory jumps onto the ladder and hits a springboard flying kick sending Joe flying to the outside of the ring. Roode is back into the ring as well. Kick to the ribs and Glory goes for a kick. Roode blocks the kick and Glory pops up with a stepover spin kick. Storm is back into the ring and Glory hits a corkscrew neckbreaker bringing him down to the canvas.
Johnny Glory stands alone. Glory sets up the ladder, but Mia Stylish is back up. Glory dodges Stylish’s attempts to knock him off and jumps to the top rope. Leaping spin kick sends Stylish crashing down to the canvas. Bully Ray is back up and Glory hits him with a knee strike. He goes for one on Mia Stylish on the rebound. Stylish dodges and superkick decks Glory. Glory is dropped to his knees and Mia hits a running somersault neckbreaker. Mia is up but Storm and Roode double kick her in the ribs and hit a double suplex. Roode goes to cheapshot Storm. Storm sees that one coming and LAST CALL BRINGS ROODE DOWN!
Roode has been knocked out. Storm once again goes for the Golden Ticket. Samoa Joe is back up and he climbs to the other side of the ladder. Joe and Storm are punching each other out. Keep your eye on Bully Ray, who shoulders one of the ladders, and then knocks Storm in the back of the leg. Another shot to Joe. Ray creates a ladder bridge from the second rope and the ladder before hurling him off. Joe bounces off of the ladder.
Here it comes. Bully Ray makes his way up the ladder. We see Johnny Glory scrambling up the other end, to try and out run Bully Ray. Ray catches him with a couple of elbow strikes and then hoists up Glory. A HUGE POWER BOMB BOUNCES GLORY OFF THE LADDER! Bully Ray is close to the golden ticket, and here comes Mia Stylish. Bully Ray is taunting her and Mia climbs up the ladder to face Bully Ray. Ray and Mia exchange punches on top of the ladder, with Bully hoisting Mia onto his shoulders. Mia is fighting and she causes both of them to stumble up off of the ladder!
Ray reclaims the chain from earlier and wallops Mia with it! Ray has his path to the gold clear, but instead he rolls to the floor and grabs a table. He nails Joe, Storm, and Roode with chain loaded punches for good measure, before setting up the table in the center of the ring. He picks Mia’s prone body up and puts her on the top rope. Attempted Super Power Bomb through the table, but Mia is fighting the attack. She flips onto the top rope and headbutts Bully Ray in the ribs. Mia has Ray hooked and HUGE DDT OFF OF THE TOP ROPE SENDS RAY THROUGH THE TABLE!
Once again, Mia scrambles up, clutching her arm. She fights for the golden ticket, but Samoa Joe is back up. Joe catches Mia in a rear naked choke as she’s seated on top of the ladder. Mia reaches for the golden ticket. We see Joe yanking Mia down the ladder, but her leg is hooked in the ladder. Joe loses his balance and crashes down to the canvas hard. We see Mia hoisting herself off of the ladder and she reaches for the golden ticket once again. She unhooks it, just as Glory scrambles back up off of the ladder. Mia throws herself off of the ladder, with the golden ticket in her hands. Mia Stylish has won the Race to the Top Ladder Match in 19:55(*** ¾)
Glory is in shock, as Mia somehow outmaneuvered him. She has the Golden Ticket and thus will be able to challenge for the NAWA World Title any time during the next season of the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Mia has to be helped to the ring, limping slightly from her death defying final fall off of the ladder.
The NAWA Women’s Title is on the line in the next match, when Kana puts her title on the line, against the 2013 Queen of Glory Tournament winner, Ivelisse Velez. At the bell, Ivelisse goes right at Kana with a series of vicious forearm smashes. Kana is sent off into the ropes. Clothesline is ducked and the challenger is brought down with a running hip attack. Kana chops away at Ivelisse and clotheslines her hard into the corner. Kana double underhook suplexes Ivelisse and rolls over for a two count.
Kana wrings out the arm of the challenger. Off of the ropes one more time. Ivelisse hits the corner and Kana rushes in. Kick to the face stops her and Ivelisse hits a series of kick to the midsection. Gutwrench twisted into a gutbuster brings Kana down to the canvas. Ivelisse front facelocks Kana and knee lifts her in the face repeatedly. The fans are getting behind Kana. The challenger keeps wearing down the champion. Swinging cradle neckbreaker stuns Kana and gets a two count!
Ivelisse hoists up Kana and snake eyes brings her down into the corner. A series of forearm smashes sends Kana into the corners. Yakuza Kick punishes her hard. Ivelisse puts the bad mouth on Kana. Kicks sets up a huge fireman’s carry. Rolling Samoan Drop sends her down. Ivelisse bounces off of the ropes and double foot stomp stuns Kana. Ivelisse covers Kana and gets a two count. Ivelisse picks up Kana and puts her up on the top rope. Superplex is blocked. Ivelisse shoves Kana off the ropes and she smacks her head off of the top rope.
The count has to be stopped, otherwise, Ivelisse wins the match, but not the championship. Kana is hurled into the ring and Ivelisse waylays the champion hard. A hard knee strikes Kana in the head. DDT, right into a bodyscissors guillotine choke. One of those deadly moves has been locked on by the challenger. Kana is fighting out of the hold, pounding away at Ivelisse like a pitbull. The hold is broken and Ivelisse kicks Kana in the ribs a couple of times. Kick to the ribs and Ivelisse goes for a discus clothesline. Kana ducks and spin kick knocks her down to the canvas.
Kana gives a primal yell and pounds away at Ivelisse ,drawing cheers. Series of rapid fire strikes and Kana brings Ivelisse into the corner. Leaping knee strike in the corner and now, Kana winds up. Roundhouse kick is ducked and Ivelisse has Kana set up. Stun gun brings her down. Right into a waistlock and a German Suplex. The challenger releases the hold and floats over for a two count. Ivelisse knees Kana in the head a couple more times and climbs to the top rope. Top-rope elbow drop connected. Ivelisse covers Kana and gets a two count when she barely bridges out of the cover.
The challenger yells for Kana, one more time. Kick and she goes for a guillotine choke. Kana twists out and delivers a shoulder throw into a Cross-Armbreaker. Kana cranks on the arm. Ivelisse is fighting, struggling, trying to break out of the hold. Kana snaps back on the arm and forces a tap out. Kana retains the NAWA Women’s Championship over Ivelisse Velez in 10:44(*** ½)
Kana wipes the blood off of her lip, with a wicked smile on her face. Ivelisse has fought a war, but once again, Kana walks out with the NAWA Women’s Championship.
Kurt Angle has something to prove, to see if he still has it and AJ Styles wants to make a name for himself by bringing down Kurt Angle. Both competitors trade holds on the mat for the early part of this match, with Angle wrestling Styles to the canvas and showing his ameteur skills, getting a few close two counts after numerous holds. Styles begs off in the corner, and grabs Angle, sending him onto the ring apron. Styles hits a running shoulder block to drop Angle to the floor. Styles rolls out to the floor and slams Angle into the ring apron. He throws Angle into the ring and snap mares Angle. Running neck snap brings Angle down. Styles picks up Angle and a series of forearm smashes, followed by a kneedrop to the back of the head.
Angle’s had a documented history with neck problems. Cravate applied and Styles hammers away at the neck of Angle. Styles hoists up Angle. Elevated vertical suplex brings Angle down to the canvas. He picks up Angle around the neck and follows through with multiple knee strikes. Styles hurls Angle into the corner hard. Running kneelift in the back of the head and Styles springboards to the top rope. Asai Moonsault into an inverted DDT brings Angle down. Styles covers and gets a two count.
Front facelock continues to wear Angle down. Styles lifts him up and front-drop suplex works Angle over. Angle is draped on the middle rope and Styles connects with a pullover DDT! Styles covers Angle and gets a two and a half count. Stomps rock Angle. AJ Styles climbs to the top rope, but Angle pops up and runs up the buckles. Superplex is blocked and Styles drops Angle onto the top rope crotch first. Running Frankensteiner flips Angle back into the ring. Styles steps to the outside and waits on Angle to get back up. Styles goes for a springboard forearm smash. Angle catches him and overhead belly to belly suplex sends Styles down.
Angle dodges a back elbow from Styles and a kick to the midsection. He backs up and a sunset flip power bomb snaps Styles down. Angle hooks Styles hooking the leg and gets a two count. The fans are chanting for Angle, and Angle pulls down the straps. Kicks to the ribs and Angle hooks Styles. German Suplex is avoided when Styles hangs onto the ropes. Elbow strikes. Pele Kick is caught into the Ankle Lock! Angle has the ankle hooked and Styles screams out in agony. He grabs the referee by the tie, and yanks him forward. Angle has to dodge the referee’s flying body.
Styles catches Angle with a low blow and then hits the Styles Clash to Angle! Styles rolls over Angle, and the referee makes the count. Two and nine tenths count when Angle kicks out! Styles picks up Angle and hurls him into the corner. Running forearm smash is dodged. Styles leaps to the middle rope and goes for a springboard cross body block. Angle catches him and hoists him up onto the shoulders. Angle Slam is countered with a sunset flip, and Styles rolls into another Styles Clash attack. Angle counters into the Ankle Lock on the way down. This time, Angle positions Styles away from the referee before he hooks the hold. Styles breaks the hold and reaches the ropes, just barely.
Another attempt at the Ankle Lock, but Styles kicks Angle off into the ropes. A huge sliding baseball sliding kick to Angle’s knee, and Styles backs off of the ropes. Running chop block to the back of Angle’s leg. Styles grabs the leg and applies the Calf Crusher. Styles clutches onto the hold. Angle struggles, but he can’t make it to the ropes. Styles cranks on the leg and Angle is almost able to reach the rope. Styles grabs Angle’s arm, and pulls him away from the ropes. Angle can’t break the hold and taps out. AJ Styles made Kurt Angle submit to the Calf Crusher in 15:05(****)
Styles breaks the hold. He made Kurt Angle tap out to win this match. Styles mocks Angle’s fallen body. Angle is favoring his leg. Maybe, just maybe, Angle doesn’t have what it takes anymore. AJ Styles won by submission and proved himself over Kurt Angle.
Ricochet takes on Miles Stylish for the NAWA Television Title. Ricochet beat Miles Stylish one on one this past December. Can he do it again? The bell rings and Stylish shoves Ricochet down into the corner. Ricochet bounces back up and Stylish grabs him in a headlock and flips him down. Stylish grounds Ricochet and forces him on the mat. The fans are booing, as Stylish is keeping Ricochet on the ground. A series of uppercuts rock Ricochet in the side of the face. Stylish breaks the hold and slams Ricochet hard into the corner from behind. Stylish refuses to rush into the corner and instead motions for Ricochet to come at him. Stylish kicks Ricochet right in the leg to bring him down. Then Stylish catches Ricochet with a couple of forearm smashes to the top of the head. He grabs Ricochet and takes him down with a violent swinging suplex.
Stylish stomps away at the back of Ricochet’s head and Stylish yells at Ricochet, calling him a flavor of the month, and a flash in the pan. Stylish picks Ricochet up and puts him on the top rope facing the crowd. Up to the top rope and Stylish goes for a belly to back suicideplex. Ricochet flips back onto his feet in mid-move and catches Stylish with a running dropkick to send him to the apron. Ricochet jumps over the top rope and then rushes up the apron. He leaps on the shoulders of Stylish, but Stylish hangs on. HUGE POWER BOMB OFF OF THE RING APRON ONTO THE GUARDRAIL!
Ricochet might need to be scrapped up. Stylish yells that’s what he gets. Ricochet is hoisted up by the hair and hurled into the side of the ring. Stylish uppercuts Ricochet a couple more times in the chest and throws him back into the ring. Stylish hoists up Ricochet and a stun gun brings Ricochet down onto the top rope. Stylish hooks Ricochet in a cobra clutch and tries to take the wind out of him. Ricochet fights to his feet. Stylish shoves him off and short-arm clothesline brings him down. Stylish grabs Ricochet’s head and applies a dragon sleeper to continue to punish him.
The fans are getting behind Ricochet. Ricochet is trying to fight out of the hold. Stylish breaks the dragon sleeper and dropkicks Ricochet hard in the head. Another huge swinging snap suplex brings Ricochet. Ricochet spasms on the canvas, and then Stylish grabs Ricochet’s leg. Series of knee strikes to the back of the head and spinning toe hold, into a leg scissor’s stomp. Stylish yells he’s going to break Ricochet. Indian Deathlock applied. Ricochet struggles and refuses to submit.
The hold is broken when Ricochet just barely reaches the ropes. Stylish takes as much of the five count as he could. He picks up Ricochet in the Tree of Woe and stomps his chest. Stylish backs off and running knee strike into the canvas. Ricochet lands in the center of the ring. Stylish hoists up Ricochet onto his shoulders. Las Vegas Trauma is countered with the spinning headscissors. Ricochet rises back up to his feet and rushes Stylish. Stylish catches Ricochet mid-run and hurls him through the ropes, flipping him into the railing.
Stylish yells if Ricochet wants to flip, he’ll keep flipping. He hurls Ricochet into the side of the ring, making him somersault! The fans are trying to get behind Ricochet, but no matter anything he has, Stylish has a counter for him. Stylish picks up Ricochet and lifts him up. Ricochet hangs onto the ropes, and causes Stylish to lose his balance. Reverse kick to the face and Ricochet ascends to the top rope. RINGPOST MOONSAULT WIPES STYLISH OUT!
The referee is putting the count on both men. Ricochet breaks the count. Stylish pulls himself back up and Ricochet kicks him in the head. Series of rapid fire strikes from Ricochet builds some momentum. Ricochet winds up and prepares for the next move. He delivers a running swinging DDT to bring Stylish down. Ricochet favors his leg and climbs to the outside. He’s up to the top rope. 450 Splash hits the knees of Miles Stylish! Stylish hoists himself up, running kick to the side of the leg. The fans nearly jump off of their feet from this impressive move delivered by Ricochet. Ricochet favors his leg and drags himself over. Two and a half count when Stylish kicks out of the move! Ricochet picks up Stylish and throws him into the corner. Spinning uppercut in the corner. Ricochet hits a running dropkick to slump Stylish in the corner. Another running dropkick punishes him and Ricochet climbs to the second rope. Ten count punches in the corner, but Stylish dumps Ricochet over the top rope and causes his leg to crumple onto the ring apron!
Stylish drags Ricochet back into the ring, onto the shoulders and Las Vegas Trauma connects! Stylish covers Ricochet hooking the leg and scores the pin. Miles Stylish retained the NAWA Television Title over Ricochet in 13:44(*** ¾)
Stylish mocks Ricochet in the aftermath. Ricochet had some impressive offensive flurries, brief as they were, but this was almost fourteen minutes worth of dissection. Stylish kicks Ricochet’s leg out from underneath him as he tries to struggle to a standing position. Stylish holds on the Television Title.
The next match is a Street Fight between Harry Harris and Austin Aries. If Aries beats Harris, than he will be forced out of the role as NAWA Commissioner and Austin Aries gets an NAWA World Title Shot. If Harris wins, then Mia Stylish will get one more match against Austin Aries.
The moment the bell rings to start up this Streetfight between Harry Harris and Austin Aries, Harris punches Aries before the match. A series of chops rocks Aries and Harris throws Aries into the ropes. Aries puts the brakes on and slides to the arena floor. Harris catches Aries with a baseball slide and throws Aries into the guardrail. Harris rolls back the ring mats and kicks Aries in the groin doubling him over. Harris has Aries. Aries fights an attempted DDT on the concrete floor by hanging onto the bottom rope. This results in Harris slamming head first into the concrete floor and rendering him dazed.
Aries stomps away at Harris and throws him into the guardrail. Harris is slumped over the guardrail and Aries hammers away at Harris over the back with multiple vicious forearm smashes. He catches Harris in the chin with an uppercut punch and takes a camera cable, to wrap it around the neck of Harris. Aries is talking trash to Harris while trying to choke him out. Aries is coming close to choking Harris out. Harris fights out with a series of strikes, breaking the camera cable, until Aries throws Harris into the ring steps!
Aries reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a table. He slides the table back into the ring, and draws heat from the crowd. Aries backs up and baseball slides Harris into the guardrail. Aries steps back and tope suicida is caught by Harris. HARRIS BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES ARIES INTO THE GUARDRAIL!
The broken body of Austin Aries is slumped against the guardrail and Harris hits him with a series of stomps to the face. Running boot scrape to Aries, and Harris hooks Aries. Bulldog on the exposed concrete floor. The nose and face of Austin Aries has been cracked off of the canvas. Harris rolls Aries back into the ring, and grabs a steel chair. He enters the ring, and swings the chair. Aries dodges and the chair bounces off of the corner. Harris catches Aries, before he scrambles out of the ring. Harris hoists up Aries, but Aries goes low with a low blow. He takes the chair and jabs Harris in the ribs. A couple of violent shots across the back rock Harris!
Harris pulls himself up and ARIES UNLOADS WITH A VIOLENT CHAIR SHOT TO THE TOP OF THE HEAD OF HARRY HARRIS! The announcers talk about all of the injury problems and Aries is not going for the cover. He yells at Harris, demanding to know if he wants one last shot at Glory. Kicks to the face, and Aries has Harris set up. A huge brain buster delivered to Harris! One of the pet moves of Austin Aries. He refuses to go for the cover, he instead reaches underneath the ring and brings a large metal tool box into the ring. Aries lifts the tool box over his head and smashes it into the right knee and ankle of Harry Harris!
The fans are booing and Aries hits a soccer kick to the head of Harris! Aries picks up Harris and hurls him into the corner hard. Running clothesline in the corner, and Aries gutwrenches Harris. Spinning gutwrench suplex brings him down. Aries holds onto the head of Harris and crucifix elbow strikes, before Aries turns Harris into a modified Rings of Saturn! He is trying to make Harry Harris submit, but you might have to kill him. Aries twists into the Last Chancery, putting the neck of Harris under pressure! The fans are losing their mind. Harris is reaching to the ropes, but no rope breaks in street fights. So he reaches into the toolbox and pulls out a hammer. HARRIS SMASHES THE KNUCKLES OF ARIES WITH A HAMMER TO BREAK THE HOLD!
The fans explode in cheers. Aries favors his hand. Harris nails Aries right in the wrist with another hammer shot. Another hammer shot, and Harris hits Aries in the back of the leg. He takes the claw of the hammer and digs it into the mouth of Aries, drawing loud cheers from the crowd! Aries has been busted open from the mouth! Aries scrambles to the floor, but Harris gives chase, diving onto Aries with a sloppy, but very violent dive. He hammers away at the back of the head of Aries, and rolls him back into the ring.
Harris yells if Aries wants to be a star, he’s going to earn his scars. He drags Aries up the ramp and throws him up into the ramp hard. Aries smacks off of the edge of one of the sets. Harris punches away at Aries, drawing more blood and more cheers from him! Aries begs off, and Harris runs down the aisle, with a huge Yakuza Kick to the top of the head!
Harris makes his way to the outside, and returns with a pane of glass. Aries begs off and Harris swings the glass, before smashing it down onto the top of the head of Austin Aries. Blood and glass flies everywhere, with the fans on their feet! The blood lust of the fans are heard. Harris drags Aries back into the ring and throws him back into the ring. The fans are on their feet and the referee checks on Aries, who tries to get up, but collapses from the blood lost! The table brought into the ring earlier is set up, and Harris also brings one of the ladders from the Race to the Top Ladder Match into play!
Harris drags the bloodied body of Austin Aries onto the table. The former four time NAWA World Champion is climbing up the ladder. The fans are on their feet. Harris jumps off of the ladder and Frog Splash puts Aries through the table! Harris may have hurt his knee. He retired the frog splash from his moveset a long time ago. Harris is struggling to a standing position, but it was worth it. Worth it to finish off Austin Aries.
Out rushes Bully Ray and Robert Roode. Harris arms himself with a chair and fights them both off. Chairshot to Roode and chairshot to Bully Ray. The fans are on their feet, cheering for Harry Harris. Aries has a wrench in his hand. Harris swings the chair and Aries swings the wrench. Chair beats wrench and down goes the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived with a thud! The fans are on their feet, and Harris calls for the ring crew to bring out something. The ring crew has brought out a spider net of barbed wire and glass. This deadly object is set up, with Harris setting up Aries. He’s going to put Aries through it, but suddenly, Harry Harris is shoved off of the top rope and crashes through the barbed wire and the glass.
It’s Miles Stylish. Where did he come from? Harris has crashed through the glass and the barbed wire! The NAWA Television Champion is back out, and we see Stylish walk over, and drag Harris out of the pit. He’s soaked in his own blood, and Stylish drags Harris into the ring! Stylish picks up Harris and Las Vegas Trauma spikes Harris onto his head! Stylish grabs Aries and throws his limp body on top of Harris. The referee hesitates, until Bully Ray barks at him to count. The fans are booing madly as the referee’s hand hits the canvas for a third time. It falls and we have a win for Austin Aries. Austin Aries won a Streetfight over Harry Harris in 25:05(***)
Miles Stylish walks off, with Bully Ray and Robert Roode carrying the barely conscious and bloodied body of Aries on their shoulders, like a conquering hero. Harris obliterated Aries throughout that match. Maybe he should have gone for the pin, instead of trying to dish out more punishment on Aries. After all of the trash Aries talked about Harris, his friends, and his family, and his legacy, Aries got the win, but can’t even walk out on his own accord.
We see Harry Harris being helped from the ring. The fans are not happy with this one and loud chants of “bullshit.” Harris shakes his head, unable to process what happened. This is just another moment where Miles Stylish ruined Harry Harris’s life as he’s no longer the NAWA Commissioner.
The cage is about to be lowered down. It’s time for the main event. The NAWA World Champion Prince Devitt defends the belt against Kevin Steen. We see how Kevin Steen has been working his way to the gold, winning the Gold Rush Tournament. He suffered a fireball and six Bloody Sundays a few weeks ago on Glory.
Both men stand into the cage. Kevin Steen has his face bandaged up, still with residual burns. Yet, he goes into the ring, with reckless abandon, chopping away at Devitt. Devitt is hurled into the ropes. He puts the breaks on to avoid an early pop up power bomb. Steen stands there and waits for Devitt to come to him. Drop toe hold, and now Steen hits a running knee. He follows it up with a huge cannonball style senton. Steen gets a cover and gets a two count. He picks up Devitt and rams him into the corner hard. Steen hits a leaping forearm smash into the corner. Another couple of pairs, and Steen headbutts Devitt. Devitt is slumped in the corner and Steen hoists up Devitt. Two backbreakers into a fallway slamm which gets a two count for Steen.
Steen is trying to win this match earlier, or at least score a quick pin over Devitt. Devitt is taken down with a short clothesline. Steen bends down and picks Devitt up. Delayed vertical suplex brings Devitt down. Steen steps back and goes for another running senton. Devitt rolls out of the way. Steen hits the canvas hard and favors his back. Devitt rises up and leaping double knee drop to the chest of Steen. Steen spasms underneath the feet of Devitt. Devitt bends down and applies a front facelock.
Devitt punishes the challenger. He picks up Steen and slams him hard into the cage. Steen backs up into multiple forearm smashes in the back of the head. Devitt hits him with a Russian Legsweep before he floats over into a modified Anaconda Vice. He wears down Steen, with the fans trying to get behind the challenger. Steen came so close to winning at Rage in the Cage. He needs this win. Steen fights out of the hold. Devitt wisely evades and soccer kicks Steen in the ribs multiple times.
A series of rapid fire kicks in the corner. Steen is slumped in the corner. Devitt hurls Steen and running dropkick rocks him in the corner. Devitt grabs Steen and rams him into the cage. Three more times into the cage and Devitt slings Steen off into the ropes. Sling blade slams him down to the canvas. Devitt covers Steen hooking the leg and he gets a two and a half count off of the move.
Devitt rakes his boot off of the face of Steen. Multiple forearm smashes across the back of the head and Devitt steps back. Running Yakuza Kick to the chest of Steen crushes him into the corner. Devitt heads to the outside. He ascends to the top rope. Springboard double foot stomp is avoided, when Steen slides out of the way. He kips up and murders Devitt with a vicious superkick, taking him down. Steen covers him and gets a two count!
Steen throws Devitt off into the ropes. Modified swinging belly to back suplex dumps Devitt down onto the canvas. Steen picks up Devitt and puts him on the shoulder. Head first into the steel cage like a javelin. Devitt is slumped back down and Steen pulls out a side suplex. Right into a cannonball senton which crushes the ribs of Devitt. Steen covers the champion, and gets a two count.
Steen hammers away at Devitt. He goes for the Package Piledriver. Devitt counters with a double leg, and then catapults Steen off into the ropes. Devitt charges Steen. Steen catches Devitt and POP UP POWER BOMB DRIVES HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS! Steen has got the champion down. Two and a half count with Devitt kicking out.
There’s still some fire in the champion. Another pop up power bomb is gone for. Devitt puts the breaks on and kicks Steen. Onto the shoulders and a Frankensteiner brings him down. Devitt pops Steen with multiple elbow smashes to the top of the head. He climbs to the outside once again. Springboard Double Foot Stomp connects this time. Devitt covers Steen hooking the leg and gets a two and a half count!
Devitt pounds away at Steen. He prepares for the kick to the ribs. Bloody Sunday is countered into a small package, and Steen hangs onto Devitt. Small Package Driver brings him down to the canvas! Steen hooks Devitt on the way down and get another nearfall off of him.
Steen winds up. Superkick is dodged one more time. Devitt hits a back stabber to Steen and now hooks both legs for a two count! Devitt waits for Steen to get back up and kick to the ribs. Devitt hits a dropkick to the top of the head and a DDT, bringing him down off of the canvas. Devitt stomps and pummels the body of Steen before ascending to the top of the cage! Devitt is now on the top of the cage, perched up high. Steen is on his feet and Devitt leaps off of the top of the cage with a beautiful flying cross body block. Steen is down and Devitt gets a two and a half count!
Devitt winds up and boots Steen in the ribs. He goes for another kick. Steen dodges that and enzuigiri to the back of the head. Devitt ascends to the second rope and double foot stomp to the head. He goes to the top rope once again, and another double foot stomp. Multiple double foot stomps put Samoa Joe down at Reality check. Devitt heads up one more time, almost letting the guillotine drop. He drops down. STEEN POPS UP TO HIS FEET! Devitt is hoisted up and hit with the Pop-Up Powerbomb in one fluid motion! Steen covers him and gets a two and nine tenths count off of that one!
Damn it, so close! Steen yells that this is it. He goes for the Package Piledriver, but Devitt fights the hold, so Steen throws him off of the ropes. Spinning back suplex brings him down! The Steen Death Machine pulls out a huge senton backsplash. He gets a two count on Devitt once again. Steen climbs to the top rope. He waits on Devitt to get to his feet. Devitt manages to stagger. Steen avoids being crotched on the top rope. Devitt catches him with an uppercut. Bloody Sunday is countered when Steen drops down the back. Huge release German Suplex brings Devitt down!
Steen has Devitt set up. Package Piledriver is avoided when Devitt backs Steen into the cage. Another couple more times, and now Devitt has Steen. Tornado DDT brings him down! Devitt reaches over and undoes the turnbuckle pad from the bolt. It was that metal bolt which knocked Steen out back at Rage in the Cage. Devitt hammers away at Steen and irish whips him into the buckle hard. BLOODY SUNDAY BRINGS STEEN DOWN! The fans are holding their breath,and the count is made. Devitt has this one wrapped up and another successful title defense.
NOT QUITE! The hand almost hits the mat, before Steen kicks out! The fans are on their feet. No one has ever kicked out of the Bloody Sunday before. Devitt can’t believe it. He picks up Steen, and goes for the Super Bloody Sunday, the inverted spiked brain buster. Steen kicks his feet and reverses. He has Devitt up onto his shoulders and SNAKE EYES DROPS DEVITT FACE-FIRST ONTO THE EXPOSED BUCKLE! Devitt is hooked, and Package Piledriver connects! Steen covers, and pins Devitt. The fans jump to their feet their feet as we have a new NAWA World Champion. Kevin Steen captured the NAWA World Title over Prince Devitt in 26:40(**** ½)
Kevin Steen hoists the NAWA World Championship Title belt over his head. He has put down Prince Devitt and ended his dominating championship run. And Devitt didn’t make it easy. It was Devitt’s own move exposing the turnbuckle that ended up costing hi big in the end. Steen survived the Bloody Sunday and pulled out the biggest club in his back ,the Package Piledriver.
Season 12 comes to a close, with Kevin Steen standing on the top of the cage, holding the NAWA World Championshp Title Belt over his head. See you on Glory!
Hype for tonight, the biggest Pay Per View of the New Age Wrestling Alliance, and the Season 12. The NAWA World Title will be on the line inside of a Steel Cage Match. Kevin Steen will challenge Prince Devitt for the gold. Austin Aries and Harry Harris will square off in a Streetfight. If Aries wins, then Harris is gone as Commissioner and Aries will be getting an NAWA World Title Shot. If Harris wins, then Mia Stylish will get one final match with Austin Aries. Also, Ricochet tries to avenge his injuries at the hands of Miles Stylish and take the NAWA Television Title. Five big championship matches tonight, and lets head down to the ring for the first of five.
The Unbreakable Machines of Brian Cage and Michael Elgin step in and defend the NAWA World Tag Team Titles against the fan favorite duo of D’Angelo Dinero and Sedrick Skyhawk. Skyhawk and Dinero keep Elgin off balance in the early stages of the match with double team moves. Quick tags, back and forth, until Elgin catches Skyhawk and hits a stun gun. Elgin pounds away on Skyhawk and hits a belly to back suplex to drive him down for a two count. Tag made to Cage, who rag dolls Skyhawk around the ring. Cage beats on Skyhawk, and goes for a corner clothesline. Skyhawk dodges the move and pulls out a swinging neckbreaker. He tags in D’Angelo Dinero. Dinero runs wild on the champions.
He knocks Elgin off the ring apron and walks into a Discus Clothesline by Cage. Cage picks up Dinero and hoists him up. Cage does ten squats while holding up Dinero in a suplex and drives him down. Cage picks up Dinero up like he’s nothing and rag dolls him into the corner. The tag is made to Michael Elgin. Cage slams Dinero down and Elgin hits a somersault senton brings him down. Elgin stomps down onto the chest of Dinero and pulls Dinero up off of the canvas. Chops in the corner and Elgin throws Dinero into the corner. Corner charge avalanche and a pump splash. Elgin covers Dinero for a two and a half count kicking out.
Elgin tags in Cage and passes Dinero off. Cage hammers away at Dinero with huge forearm smashes and a huge leaping shoulder block. Cage picks up Dinero and Canadian Backbreaker applied. Tag to Elgin who hits a springboard legdrop to Dinero. Elgin covers and gets a two count. Elgin picks up Dinero in a waistlock and a throwing German Suplex into the corner. Cage grabs Dinero behind. Skyhawk enters the ring and the referee cuts him off. This allows the Unbreakable Machines to beat down Dinero in the corner. Elgin sets up Dinero and Electric Chair suplex before Elgin rolls over and gets a two count.
Cage is tagged into the ring and hoists up Dinero with a huge throw into the corner. The fans are chanting for Dinero with Skyhawk trying to rally them on. Cage pounds away at Dinero in the corner and charges. Dinero dodges and Cage hits the corner. Dinero scrambles over and makes the hot tag to Sedrick Skyhawk. Skyhawk leapfrogs over Cage and then comes back off of the ropes. Jumping European Uppercut drops Cage to one knee. Skyhawk hits a DDT to Cage and climbs to the top rope. Moonsault delivered to Cage! Elgin enters the ring and Skyhawk catches him with a series of jabs. A running knee lift sends Elgin to the outside and backs off. Dinero rushes into the ring and somersault senton knocks Elgin out.
Skyhawk kicks Cage and BRUSH WITH GREATNESS BRINGS HIM DOWN! Skyhawk covers Cage and gets a two count. Now, Skyhawk heads to the outside, but Cage is up. Skyhawk jumps up into the large arms of Cage and overhead belly to belly suplex. Dinero jumps into the ring and is caught with an overhead belly to belly suplex to Cage as well. Cage picks up Skyhawk and hurls him into Dinero while in the corner. Cage hooks Skyhawk in a vertical suplex, but Skyhawk kicks down the back. Skyhawk hits Cage with a high knee to the back of the head. Dinero is back in position and DDE connects in the corner. Skyhawk hits a spinning Brush with Greatness! Dinero and Skyhawk ascend the buckles from each other. Frog splash from Dinero connects. Fallen Star connects. Skyhawk covers and just barely manages to hold Cage down for the pin as Dinero baseball slides Elgin to the floor. Sedrick Skyhawk and D’Angelo Dinero captured the NAWA World Tag Team Titles over the Unbreakable Machines in 14:40(*** ½)
The reign of the Unbreakable Machines is ended and Skyhawk and Dinero take the belts. They went from a reluctant tag team to a top tag team. Skyhawk finally has gold back around his waist, as does Dinero. Two former NAWA World Champions joined forces and has become the NAWA World Title. Cage is up despite that barrage of finishers, and is fuming like an angry bull. Skyhawk and Dinero double dropkick Cage to the floor and then hurls Elgin on top of him.
The next match is two former tag team partners squaring off against each other. The Motor City Machine Guns were one of the most decorated tag teams in wrestling, but their partnership dissolved. Now, Alex Shelley became the NAWA Cruiserweight Title and is looking to prove to Chris Sabin who carried the tag team. Shelley and Sabin have a bit of a mirror match to start with. They trade holds on the canvas, until Shelley wrestles Sabin down and hits a number of knee strikes to punish his opponents. Sabin pops back up and a dropkick to Shelley. Frankensteiner and a series of punches. Sabin grabs the arm of Shelley and rolls him up with a La Magistral Cradle for a two count. Shelley pops back up and Sabin chops him a couple more times. Off into the ropes. The head is ducked and Shelley kneelifts Sabin in the face. Cross-armed neckbreaker brings Sabin down and gets a two count!
Shelley stomps away at the back of the head of Sabin. Shelley picks up Sabin and gutwrench suplex brings him over. Straight-jacket submission hold grounds Sabin. Sabin tries to fight out. Shelley slams him into the corner and a running double knee lift drives him into the corner. Shelley picks up Sabin and Falcon Arrow brings him down. Shelley covers Sabin and gets a two count! Shelley knows how tough Sabin can be, but Shelley pounds him down to the canvas. Shelley picks up Sabin onto his shoulders. Sabin fights out and sunset flip gets a two count! Shelley kicks Sabin in the ribs coming off of the ropes.
Sabin is kicked to his knees and superkick drives him in the face. Shelley cockily covers Sabin and gets a two count. Crucifix into a series of elbow strikes, and Shelley rolls Sabin into a pinning combination for a two count. Shelley kicks Sabin in the ribs a couple more times and hurls him into the corner. Running knee strike stuns Sabin in the corner. He picks up Sabin and connects with a twisting suplex into a backbreaker. Shelley grabs the legs of Sabin and rolls him over into a Boston Crab. Sabin is being worn down and fights to the ropes. He makes it, just barely, breaking the hold. Shelley picks up Sabin and sets him up with a series of knee strikes. Attempted Sliced Bread #2 is avoided. Sabin flips Shelley over onto his stomach.
Up to his feet and Sabin hits a series of elbow strikes to Shelley. Off into the ropes and tilt a whirl into a suplex. Sabin covers Shelley and gets a two count! Sabin springboards to the outside and missile dropkick. He covers Shelley and gets a two count. Sabin picks Shelley up off of the canvas and chops rattle him in the chest. He throws Shelley into the corner. Superkick rocks Shelley. Sabin picks up Shelley. Cradle Shock is avoided when Shelley slips down the back door. Shelley hits a running knee lift to the back of the head and hoists Sabin up to the top rope. Superplex is avoided and Sabin shoves him off. Missile Dropkick is avoided. Shelley kicks Sabin in the ribs and then picks up Sabin. Northern Lights Bomb brings him down. Shelley covers Sabin and gets a two and nine-tenths count.
A series of stomps rocks down to the back of Sabin’s head and Shelley lifts him onto the shoulders. Sabin slides down the back and shoves Shelley into the ropes. Cradle Shock brings him down. Out of nowhere! Sabin covers Shelley hooking the leg and scores the pin in 13:55. Chris Sabin captured the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Match over Alex Shelley(****)
Two championship matches and two title changes. Chris Sabin has finally won his first singles match and beat Alex Shelley. Shelley sits up, in shock. He acknowledges Sabin with a nod, as if to say that he got him.
The next match is a Race to the Top Ladder Match. James Storm, Samoa Joe, Mia Stylish, Bully Ray, Robert Roode, and Johnny Glory. Hanging above the ring is golden ticket which whoever wins this match can cash in for an NAWA World Titles at any time during Season 13 of the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Beginning on the first Glory of the year all the way to WrestleClash XIII, they can cash in.
The bell rings, and James Storm and Robert Roode renew all hostilities with punches. Mia Stylish is thrown to the floor by Bully Ray and Johnny Glory dives to avoid Samoa Joe. Joe and Bully Ray cross paths and both men punch away at each other, until Joe hurls him into the corner. Running clothesline into the corner. Glory jumps into the ring, but Joe catches Glory and hoists him over the top rope onto the brawling bodies of Roode and Storm.
Mia Stylish slides a ladder into the ring. Joe pounds away at her with punches. Stylish slumps down onto the canvas and throws Mia into the opposite corner. Corner clothesline is avoided. Mia hits a knee strike to the back of the head and a series of kicks to Joe. Mia climbs to the second rope and leapfrogs over Joe. Joe catches Mia coming off of the second rope with a springboard and hurls her over the top rope with a modified T-Bone suplex to the floor.
Bully Ray has fist wrapped up in a chain. Ray enters the ring and clubs Samoa Joe across the back of the head. Joe is sent crashing into the corner and Ray hammers away at him. Kneelift rocks him, hard in the ribs, and doubles him over. Another couple of punches and Ray is back around. James Storm returns to the ring and kicks Bully Ray in the back of the head. Both men exchange chops with each other.
Robert Roode slides into the ring and sets up the ladder while James Storm and Bully Ray are fighting with each other. Storm hits an inverted atomic drop and a huge clothesline. Roode has the ladder set up and he ascends, straight to the top for the golden ticket. We see Johnny Glory rush up a ladder bridge set up on the outside and jump up to catch Roode. Both men are pounding each other on the ladder. Samoa Joe is back up and he shoves the ladder over and sent Robert Roode and Johnny Glory crashing over the top rope.
The ladder is set up by Samoa Joe. James Storm comes in and beats down Joe with a series of punches. Storm throws Joe into the ropes. Leapfrog over his charging body and Joe hits one of the ladders which had been set up in the corner. Storm hits a leaping double-knee gutbuster and stares high to the sky. Storm climbs, high, getting closer and closer. We see Bully Ray return. Storm fights him and knocks him off of the ladder. Mia Stylish rushes back in and goes up. Storm kicks Mia off of the ladder. She hangs on and boosts herself back to chop away on James Storm. Storm rams Stylish head first into the top of the ladder. She fights out and kicks Storm in the leg. Bully Ray rushes over and shoves the ladder over, to send Storm and Stylish crashing down.
Joe is back up and he locks the rear naked choke on Bully Ray. If he puts Bully Ray out, he leaves it open to climb the ladder. Out of the corner of the ring, we see Johnny Glory creeping in. He sets up the ladder underneath the championship belt. Glory jumps onto the ladder and hits a springboard flying kick sending Joe flying to the outside of the ring. Roode is back into the ring as well. Kick to the ribs and Glory goes for a kick. Roode blocks the kick and Glory pops up with a stepover spin kick. Storm is back into the ring and Glory hits a corkscrew neckbreaker bringing him down to the canvas.
Johnny Glory stands alone. Glory sets up the ladder, but Mia Stylish is back up. Glory dodges Stylish’s attempts to knock him off and jumps to the top rope. Leaping spin kick sends Stylish crashing down to the canvas. Bully Ray is back up and Glory hits him with a knee strike. He goes for one on Mia Stylish on the rebound. Stylish dodges and superkick decks Glory. Glory is dropped to his knees and Mia hits a running somersault neckbreaker. Mia is up but Storm and Roode double kick her in the ribs and hit a double suplex. Roode goes to cheapshot Storm. Storm sees that one coming and LAST CALL BRINGS ROODE DOWN!
Roode has been knocked out. Storm once again goes for the Golden Ticket. Samoa Joe is back up and he climbs to the other side of the ladder. Joe and Storm are punching each other out. Keep your eye on Bully Ray, who shoulders one of the ladders, and then knocks Storm in the back of the leg. Another shot to Joe. Ray creates a ladder bridge from the second rope and the ladder before hurling him off. Joe bounces off of the ladder.
Here it comes. Bully Ray makes his way up the ladder. We see Johnny Glory scrambling up the other end, to try and out run Bully Ray. Ray catches him with a couple of elbow strikes and then hoists up Glory. A HUGE POWER BOMB BOUNCES GLORY OFF THE LADDER! Bully Ray is close to the golden ticket, and here comes Mia Stylish. Bully Ray is taunting her and Mia climbs up the ladder to face Bully Ray. Ray and Mia exchange punches on top of the ladder, with Bully hoisting Mia onto his shoulders. Mia is fighting and she causes both of them to stumble up off of the ladder!
Ray reclaims the chain from earlier and wallops Mia with it! Ray has his path to the gold clear, but instead he rolls to the floor and grabs a table. He nails Joe, Storm, and Roode with chain loaded punches for good measure, before setting up the table in the center of the ring. He picks Mia’s prone body up and puts her on the top rope. Attempted Super Power Bomb through the table, but Mia is fighting the attack. She flips onto the top rope and headbutts Bully Ray in the ribs. Mia has Ray hooked and HUGE DDT OFF OF THE TOP ROPE SENDS RAY THROUGH THE TABLE!
Once again, Mia scrambles up, clutching her arm. She fights for the golden ticket, but Samoa Joe is back up. Joe catches Mia in a rear naked choke as she’s seated on top of the ladder. Mia reaches for the golden ticket. We see Joe yanking Mia down the ladder, but her leg is hooked in the ladder. Joe loses his balance and crashes down to the canvas hard. We see Mia hoisting herself off of the ladder and she reaches for the golden ticket once again. She unhooks it, just as Glory scrambles back up off of the ladder. Mia throws herself off of the ladder, with the golden ticket in her hands. Mia Stylish has won the Race to the Top Ladder Match in 19:55(*** ¾)
Glory is in shock, as Mia somehow outmaneuvered him. She has the Golden Ticket and thus will be able to challenge for the NAWA World Title any time during the next season of the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Mia has to be helped to the ring, limping slightly from her death defying final fall off of the ladder.
The NAWA Women’s Title is on the line in the next match, when Kana puts her title on the line, against the 2013 Queen of Glory Tournament winner, Ivelisse Velez. At the bell, Ivelisse goes right at Kana with a series of vicious forearm smashes. Kana is sent off into the ropes. Clothesline is ducked and the challenger is brought down with a running hip attack. Kana chops away at Ivelisse and clotheslines her hard into the corner. Kana double underhook suplexes Ivelisse and rolls over for a two count.
Kana wrings out the arm of the challenger. Off of the ropes one more time. Ivelisse hits the corner and Kana rushes in. Kick to the face stops her and Ivelisse hits a series of kick to the midsection. Gutwrench twisted into a gutbuster brings Kana down to the canvas. Ivelisse front facelocks Kana and knee lifts her in the face repeatedly. The fans are getting behind Kana. The challenger keeps wearing down the champion. Swinging cradle neckbreaker stuns Kana and gets a two count!
Ivelisse hoists up Kana and snake eyes brings her down into the corner. A series of forearm smashes sends Kana into the corners. Yakuza Kick punishes her hard. Ivelisse puts the bad mouth on Kana. Kicks sets up a huge fireman’s carry. Rolling Samoan Drop sends her down. Ivelisse bounces off of the ropes and double foot stomp stuns Kana. Ivelisse covers Kana and gets a two count. Ivelisse picks up Kana and puts her up on the top rope. Superplex is blocked. Ivelisse shoves Kana off the ropes and she smacks her head off of the top rope.
The count has to be stopped, otherwise, Ivelisse wins the match, but not the championship. Kana is hurled into the ring and Ivelisse waylays the champion hard. A hard knee strikes Kana in the head. DDT, right into a bodyscissors guillotine choke. One of those deadly moves has been locked on by the challenger. Kana is fighting out of the hold, pounding away at Ivelisse like a pitbull. The hold is broken and Ivelisse kicks Kana in the ribs a couple of times. Kick to the ribs and Ivelisse goes for a discus clothesline. Kana ducks and spin kick knocks her down to the canvas.
Kana gives a primal yell and pounds away at Ivelisse ,drawing cheers. Series of rapid fire strikes and Kana brings Ivelisse into the corner. Leaping knee strike in the corner and now, Kana winds up. Roundhouse kick is ducked and Ivelisse has Kana set up. Stun gun brings her down. Right into a waistlock and a German Suplex. The challenger releases the hold and floats over for a two count. Ivelisse knees Kana in the head a couple more times and climbs to the top rope. Top-rope elbow drop connected. Ivelisse covers Kana and gets a two count when she barely bridges out of the cover.
The challenger yells for Kana, one more time. Kick and she goes for a guillotine choke. Kana twists out and delivers a shoulder throw into a Cross-Armbreaker. Kana cranks on the arm. Ivelisse is fighting, struggling, trying to break out of the hold. Kana snaps back on the arm and forces a tap out. Kana retains the NAWA Women’s Championship over Ivelisse Velez in 10:44(*** ½)
Kana wipes the blood off of her lip, with a wicked smile on her face. Ivelisse has fought a war, but once again, Kana walks out with the NAWA Women’s Championship.
Kurt Angle has something to prove, to see if he still has it and AJ Styles wants to make a name for himself by bringing down Kurt Angle. Both competitors trade holds on the mat for the early part of this match, with Angle wrestling Styles to the canvas and showing his ameteur skills, getting a few close two counts after numerous holds. Styles begs off in the corner, and grabs Angle, sending him onto the ring apron. Styles hits a running shoulder block to drop Angle to the floor. Styles rolls out to the floor and slams Angle into the ring apron. He throws Angle into the ring and snap mares Angle. Running neck snap brings Angle down. Styles picks up Angle and a series of forearm smashes, followed by a kneedrop to the back of the head.
Angle’s had a documented history with neck problems. Cravate applied and Styles hammers away at the neck of Angle. Styles hoists up Angle. Elevated vertical suplex brings Angle down to the canvas. He picks up Angle around the neck and follows through with multiple knee strikes. Styles hurls Angle into the corner hard. Running kneelift in the back of the head and Styles springboards to the top rope. Asai Moonsault into an inverted DDT brings Angle down. Styles covers and gets a two count.
Front facelock continues to wear Angle down. Styles lifts him up and front-drop suplex works Angle over. Angle is draped on the middle rope and Styles connects with a pullover DDT! Styles covers Angle and gets a two and a half count. Stomps rock Angle. AJ Styles climbs to the top rope, but Angle pops up and runs up the buckles. Superplex is blocked and Styles drops Angle onto the top rope crotch first. Running Frankensteiner flips Angle back into the ring. Styles steps to the outside and waits on Angle to get back up. Styles goes for a springboard forearm smash. Angle catches him and overhead belly to belly suplex sends Styles down.
Angle dodges a back elbow from Styles and a kick to the midsection. He backs up and a sunset flip power bomb snaps Styles down. Angle hooks Styles hooking the leg and gets a two count. The fans are chanting for Angle, and Angle pulls down the straps. Kicks to the ribs and Angle hooks Styles. German Suplex is avoided when Styles hangs onto the ropes. Elbow strikes. Pele Kick is caught into the Ankle Lock! Angle has the ankle hooked and Styles screams out in agony. He grabs the referee by the tie, and yanks him forward. Angle has to dodge the referee’s flying body.
Styles catches Angle with a low blow and then hits the Styles Clash to Angle! Styles rolls over Angle, and the referee makes the count. Two and nine tenths count when Angle kicks out! Styles picks up Angle and hurls him into the corner. Running forearm smash is dodged. Styles leaps to the middle rope and goes for a springboard cross body block. Angle catches him and hoists him up onto the shoulders. Angle Slam is countered with a sunset flip, and Styles rolls into another Styles Clash attack. Angle counters into the Ankle Lock on the way down. This time, Angle positions Styles away from the referee before he hooks the hold. Styles breaks the hold and reaches the ropes, just barely.
Another attempt at the Ankle Lock, but Styles kicks Angle off into the ropes. A huge sliding baseball sliding kick to Angle’s knee, and Styles backs off of the ropes. Running chop block to the back of Angle’s leg. Styles grabs the leg and applies the Calf Crusher. Styles clutches onto the hold. Angle struggles, but he can’t make it to the ropes. Styles cranks on the leg and Angle is almost able to reach the rope. Styles grabs Angle’s arm, and pulls him away from the ropes. Angle can’t break the hold and taps out. AJ Styles made Kurt Angle submit to the Calf Crusher in 15:05(****)
Styles breaks the hold. He made Kurt Angle tap out to win this match. Styles mocks Angle’s fallen body. Angle is favoring his leg. Maybe, just maybe, Angle doesn’t have what it takes anymore. AJ Styles won by submission and proved himself over Kurt Angle.
Ricochet takes on Miles Stylish for the NAWA Television Title. Ricochet beat Miles Stylish one on one this past December. Can he do it again? The bell rings and Stylish shoves Ricochet down into the corner. Ricochet bounces back up and Stylish grabs him in a headlock and flips him down. Stylish grounds Ricochet and forces him on the mat. The fans are booing, as Stylish is keeping Ricochet on the ground. A series of uppercuts rock Ricochet in the side of the face. Stylish breaks the hold and slams Ricochet hard into the corner from behind. Stylish refuses to rush into the corner and instead motions for Ricochet to come at him. Stylish kicks Ricochet right in the leg to bring him down. Then Stylish catches Ricochet with a couple of forearm smashes to the top of the head. He grabs Ricochet and takes him down with a violent swinging suplex.
Stylish stomps away at the back of Ricochet’s head and Stylish yells at Ricochet, calling him a flavor of the month, and a flash in the pan. Stylish picks Ricochet up and puts him on the top rope facing the crowd. Up to the top rope and Stylish goes for a belly to back suicideplex. Ricochet flips back onto his feet in mid-move and catches Stylish with a running dropkick to send him to the apron. Ricochet jumps over the top rope and then rushes up the apron. He leaps on the shoulders of Stylish, but Stylish hangs on. HUGE POWER BOMB OFF OF THE RING APRON ONTO THE GUARDRAIL!
Ricochet might need to be scrapped up. Stylish yells that’s what he gets. Ricochet is hoisted up by the hair and hurled into the side of the ring. Stylish uppercuts Ricochet a couple more times in the chest and throws him back into the ring. Stylish hoists up Ricochet and a stun gun brings Ricochet down onto the top rope. Stylish hooks Ricochet in a cobra clutch and tries to take the wind out of him. Ricochet fights to his feet. Stylish shoves him off and short-arm clothesline brings him down. Stylish grabs Ricochet’s head and applies a dragon sleeper to continue to punish him.
The fans are getting behind Ricochet. Ricochet is trying to fight out of the hold. Stylish breaks the dragon sleeper and dropkicks Ricochet hard in the head. Another huge swinging snap suplex brings Ricochet. Ricochet spasms on the canvas, and then Stylish grabs Ricochet’s leg. Series of knee strikes to the back of the head and spinning toe hold, into a leg scissor’s stomp. Stylish yells he’s going to break Ricochet. Indian Deathlock applied. Ricochet struggles and refuses to submit.
The hold is broken when Ricochet just barely reaches the ropes. Stylish takes as much of the five count as he could. He picks up Ricochet in the Tree of Woe and stomps his chest. Stylish backs off and running knee strike into the canvas. Ricochet lands in the center of the ring. Stylish hoists up Ricochet onto his shoulders. Las Vegas Trauma is countered with the spinning headscissors. Ricochet rises back up to his feet and rushes Stylish. Stylish catches Ricochet mid-run and hurls him through the ropes, flipping him into the railing.
Stylish yells if Ricochet wants to flip, he’ll keep flipping. He hurls Ricochet into the side of the ring, making him somersault! The fans are trying to get behind Ricochet, but no matter anything he has, Stylish has a counter for him. Stylish picks up Ricochet and lifts him up. Ricochet hangs onto the ropes, and causes Stylish to lose his balance. Reverse kick to the face and Ricochet ascends to the top rope. RINGPOST MOONSAULT WIPES STYLISH OUT!
The referee is putting the count on both men. Ricochet breaks the count. Stylish pulls himself back up and Ricochet kicks him in the head. Series of rapid fire strikes from Ricochet builds some momentum. Ricochet winds up and prepares for the next move. He delivers a running swinging DDT to bring Stylish down. Ricochet favors his leg and climbs to the outside. He’s up to the top rope. 450 Splash hits the knees of Miles Stylish! Stylish hoists himself up, running kick to the side of the leg. He sets up Ricochet, and reverse slingshot suplex sends him down. Stylish covers Ricochet and hooks the leg for a two and nine tenths count!
Stylish picks Ricochet up and puts him on the top rope. Stylish climbs up. Ricochet fights Stylish, and then goes behind him. SUPER REVERSE FRANKENSTEINER BRINGS STYLISH DOWN! The fans nearly jump off of their feet from this impressive move delivered by Ricochet. Ricochet favors his leg and drags himself over. Two and a half count when Stylish kicks out of the move! Ricochet picks up Stylish and throws him into the corner. Spinning uppercut in the corner. Ricochet hits a running dropkick to slump Stylish in the corner. Another running dropkick punishes him and Ricochet climbs to the second rope. Ten count punches in the corner, but Stylish dumps Ricochet over the top rope and causes his leg to crumple onto the ring apron!
Stylish drags Ricochet back into the ring, onto the shoulders and Las Vegas Trauma connects! Stylish covers Ricochet hooking the leg and scores the pin. Miles Stylish retained the NAWA Television Title over Ricochet in 13:44(*** ¾)
Stylish mocks Ricochet in the aftermath. Ricochet had some impressive offensive flurries, brief as they were, but this was almost fourteen minutes worth of dissection. Stylish kicks Ricochet’s leg out from underneath him as he tries to struggle to a standing position. Stylish holds on the Television Title.
The next match is a Street Fight between Harry Harris and Austin Aries. If Aries beats Harris, than he will be forced out of the role as NAWA Commissioner and Austin Aries gets an NAWA World Title Shot. If Harris wins, then Mia Stylish will get one more match against Austin Aries.
The moment the bell rings to start up this Streetfight between Harry Harris and Austin Aries, Harris punches Aries before the match. A series of chops rocks Aries and Harris throws Aries into the ropes. Aries puts the brakes on and slides to the arena floor. Harris catches Aries with a baseball slide and throws Aries into the guardrail. Harris rolls back the ring mats and kicks Aries in the groin doubling him over. Harris has Aries. Aries fights an attempted DDT on the concrete floor by hanging onto the bottom rope. This results in Harris slamming head first into the concrete floor and rendering him dazed.
Aries stomps away at Harris and throws him into the guardrail. Harris is slumped over the guardrail and Aries hammers away at Harris over the back with multiple vicious forearm smashes. He catches Harris in the chin with an uppercut punch and takes a camera cable, to wrap it around the neck of Harris. Aries is talking trash to Harris while trying to choke him out. Aries is coming close to choking Harris out. Harris fights out with a series of strikes, breaking the camera cable, until Aries throws Harris into the ring steps!
Aries reaches underneath the ring and pulls out a table. He slides the table back into the ring, and draws heat from the crowd. Aries backs up and baseball slides Harris into the guardrail. Aries steps back and tope suicida is caught by Harris. HARRIS BELLY TO BELLY SUPLEXES ARIES INTO THE GUARDRAIL!
The broken body of Austin Aries is slumped against the guardrail and Harris hits him with a series of stomps to the face. Running boot scrape to Aries, and Harris hooks Aries. Bulldog on the exposed concrete floor. The nose and face of Austin Aries has been cracked off of the canvas. Harris rolls Aries back into the ring, and grabs a steel chair. He enters the ring, and swings the chair. Aries dodges and the chair bounces off of the corner. Harris catches Aries, before he scrambles out of the ring. Harris hoists up Aries, but Aries goes low with a low blow. He takes the chair and jabs Harris in the ribs. A couple of violent shots across the back rock Harris!
Harris pulls himself up and ARIES UNLOADS WITH A VIOLENT CHAIR SHOT TO THE TOP OF THE HEAD OF HARRY HARRIS! The announcers talk about all of the injury problems and Aries is not going for the cover. He yells at Harris, demanding to know if he wants one last shot at Glory. Kicks to the face, and Aries has Harris set up. A huge brain buster delivered to Harris! One of the pet moves of Austin Aries. He refuses to go for the cover, he instead reaches underneath the ring and brings a large metal tool box into the ring. Aries lifts the tool box over his head and smashes it into the right knee and ankle of Harry Harris!
The fans are booing and Aries hits a soccer kick to the head of Harris! Aries picks up Harris and hurls him into the corner hard. Running clothesline in the corner, and Aries gutwrenches Harris. Spinning gutwrench suplex brings him down. Aries holds onto the head of Harris and crucifix elbow strikes, before Aries turns Harris into a modified Rings of Saturn! He is trying to make Harry Harris submit, but you might have to kill him. Aries twists into the Last Chancery, putting the neck of Harris under pressure! The fans are losing their mind. Harris is reaching to the ropes, but no rope breaks in street fights. So he reaches into the toolbox and pulls out a hammer. HARRIS SMASHES THE KNUCKLES OF ARIES WITH A HAMMER TO BREAK THE HOLD!
The fans explode in cheers. Aries favors his hand. Harris nails Aries right in the wrist with another hammer shot. Another hammer shot, and Harris hits Aries in the back of the leg. He takes the claw of the hammer and digs it into the mouth of Aries, drawing loud cheers from the crowd! Aries has been busted open from the mouth! Aries scrambles to the floor, but Harris gives chase, diving onto Aries with a sloppy, but very violent dive. He hammers away at the back of the head of Aries, and rolls him back into the ring.
Harris yells if Aries wants to be a star, he’s going to earn his scars. He drags Aries up the ramp and throws him up into the ramp hard. Aries smacks off of the edge of one of the sets. Harris punches away at Aries, drawing more blood and more cheers from him! Aries begs off, and Harris runs down the aisle, with a huge Yakuza Kick to the top of the head!
Harris makes his way to the outside, and returns with a pane of glass. Aries begs off and Harris swings the glass, before smashing it down onto the top of the head of Austin Aries. Blood and glass flies everywhere, with the fans on their feet! The blood lust of the fans are heard. Harris drags Aries back into the ring and throws him back into the ring. The fans are on their feet and the referee checks on Aries, who tries to get up, but collapses from the blood lost! The table brought into the ring earlier is set up, and Harris also brings one of the ladders from the Race to the Top Ladder Match into play!
Harris drags the bloodied body of Austin Aries onto the table. The former four time NAWA World Champion is climbing up the ladder. The fans are on their feet. Harris jumps off of the ladder and Frog Splash puts Aries through the table! Harris may have hurt his knee. He retired the frog splash from his moveset a long time ago. Harris is struggling to a standing position, but it was worth it. Worth it to finish off Austin Aries.
Out rushes Bully Ray and Robert Roode. Harris arms himself with a chair and fights them both off. Chairshot to Roode and chairshot to Bully Ray. The fans are on their feet, cheering for Harry Harris. Aries has a wrench in his hand. Harris swings the chair and Aries swings the wrench. Chair beats wrench and down goes the Greatest Man Who Ever Lived with a thud! The fans are on their feet, and Harris calls for the ring crew to bring out something. The ring crew has brought out a spider net of barbed wire and glass. This deadly object is set up, with Harris setting up Aries. He’s going to put Aries through it, but suddenly, Harry Harris is shoved off of the top rope and crashes through the barbed wire and the glass.
It’s Miles Stylish. Where did he come from? Harris has crashed through the glass and the barbed wire! The NAWA Television Champion is back out, and we see Stylish walk over, and drag Harris out of the pit. He’s soaked in his own blood, and Stylish drags Harris into the ring! Stylish picks up Harris and Las Vegas Trauma spikes Harris onto his head! Stylish grabs Aries and throws his limp body on top of Harris. The referee hesitates, until Bully Ray barks at him to count. The fans are booing madly as the referee’s hand hits the canvas for a third time. It falls and we have a win for Austin Aries. Austin Aries won a Streetfight over Harry Harris in 25:05(***)
Miles Stylish walks off, with Bully Ray and Robert Roode carrying the barely conscious and bloodied body of Aries on their shoulders, like a conquering hero. Harris obliterated Aries throughout that match. Maybe he should have gone for the pin, instead of trying to dish out more punishment on Aries. After all of the trash Aries talked about Harris, his friends, and his family, and his legacy, Aries got the win, but can’t even walk out on his own accord.
We see Harry Harris being helped from the ring. The fans are not happy with this one and loud chants of “bullshit.” Harris shakes his head, unable to process what happened. This is just another moment where Miles Stylish ruined Harry Harris’s life as he’s no longer the NAWA Commissioner.
The cage is about to be lowered down. It’s time for the main event. The NAWA World Champion Prince Devitt defends the belt against Kevin Steen. We see how Kevin Steen has been working his way to the gold, winning the Gold Rush Tournament. He suffered a fireball and six Bloody Sundays a few weeks ago on Glory.
Both men stand into the cage. Kevin Steen has his face bandaged up, still with residual burns. Yet, he goes into the ring, with reckless abandon, chopping away at Devitt. Devitt is hurled into the ropes. He puts the breaks on to avoid an early pop up power bomb. Steen stands there and waits for Devitt to come to him. Drop toe hold, and now Steen hits a running knee. He follows it up with a huge cannonball style senton. Steen gets a cover and gets a two count. He picks up Devitt and rams him into the corner hard. Steen hits a leaping forearm smash into the corner. Another couple of pairs, and Steen headbutts Devitt. Devitt is slumped in the corner and Steen hoists up Devitt. Two backbreakers into a fallway slamm which gets a two count for Steen.
Steen is trying to win this match earlier, or at least score a quick pin over Devitt. Devitt is taken down with a short clothesline. Steen bends down and picks Devitt up. Delayed vertical suplex brings Devitt down. Steen steps back and goes for another running senton. Devitt rolls out of the way. Steen hits the canvas hard and favors his back. Devitt rises up and leaping double knee drop to the chest of Steen. Steen spasms underneath the feet of Devitt. Devitt bends down and applies a front facelock.
Devitt punishes the challenger. He picks up Steen and slams him hard into the cage. Steen backs up into multiple forearm smashes in the back of the head. Devitt hits him with a Russian Legsweep before he floats over into a modified Anaconda Vice. He wears down Steen, with the fans trying to get behind the challenger. Steen came so close to winning at Rage in the Cage. He needs this win. Steen fights out of the hold. Devitt wisely evades and soccer kicks Steen in the ribs multiple times.
A series of rapid fire kicks in the corner. Steen is slumped in the corner. Devitt hurls Steen and running dropkick rocks him in the corner. Devitt grabs Steen and rams him into the cage. Three more times into the cage and Devitt slings Steen off into the ropes. Sling blade slams him down to the canvas. Devitt covers Steen hooking the leg and he gets a two and a half count off of the move.
Devitt rakes his boot off of the face of Steen. Multiple forearm smashes across the back of the head and Devitt steps back. Running Yakuza Kick to the chest of Steen crushes him into the corner. Devitt heads to the outside. He ascends to the top rope. Springboard double foot stomp is avoided, when Steen slides out of the way. He kips up and murders Devitt with a vicious superkick, taking him down. Steen covers him and gets a two count!
Steen throws Devitt off into the ropes. Modified swinging belly to back suplex dumps Devitt down onto the canvas. Steen picks up Devitt and puts him on the shoulder. Head first into the steel cage like a javelin. Devitt is slumped back down and Steen pulls out a side suplex. Right into a cannonball senton which crushes the ribs of Devitt. Steen covers the champion, and gets a two count.
Steen hammers away at Devitt. He goes for the Package Piledriver. Devitt counters with a double leg, and then catapults Steen off into the ropes. Devitt charges Steen. Steen catches Devitt and POP UP POWER BOMB DRIVES HIM DOWN TO THE CANVAS! Steen has got the champion down. Two and a half count with Devitt kicking out.
There’s still some fire in the champion. Another pop up power bomb is gone for. Devitt puts the breaks on and kicks Steen. Onto the shoulders and a Frankensteiner brings him down. Devitt pops Steen with multiple elbow smashes to the top of the head. He climbs to the outside once again. Springboard Double Foot Stomp connects this time. Devitt covers Steen hooking the leg and gets a two and a half count!
Devitt pounds away at Steen. He prepares for the kick to the ribs. Bloody Sunday is countered into a small package, and Steen hangs onto Devitt. Small Package Driver brings him down to the canvas! Steen hooks Devitt on the way down and get another nearfall off of him.
Steen winds up. Superkick is dodged one more time. Devitt hits a back stabber to Steen and now hooks both legs for a two count! Devitt waits for Steen to get back up and kick to the ribs. Devitt hits a dropkick to the top of the head and a DDT, bringing him down off of the canvas. Devitt stomps and pummels the body of Steen before ascending to the top of the cage! Devitt is now on the top of the cage, perched up high. Steen is on his feet and Devitt leaps off of the top of the cage with a beautiful flying cross body block. Steen is down and Devitt gets a two and a half count!
Devitt winds up and boots Steen in the ribs. He goes for another kick. Steen dodges that and enzuigiri to the back of the head. Devitt ascends to the second rope and double foot stomp to the head. He goes to the top rope once again, and another double foot stomp. Multiple double foot stomps put Samoa Joe down at Reality check. Devitt heads up one more time, almost letting the guillotine drop. He drops down. STEEN POPS UP TO HIS FEET! Devitt is hoisted up and hit with the Pop-Up Powerbomb in one fluid motion! Steen covers him and gets a two and nine tenths count off of that one!
Damn it, so close! Steen yells that this is it. He goes for the Package Piledriver, but Devitt fights the hold, so Steen throws him off of the ropes. Spinning back suplex brings him down! The Steen Death Machine pulls out a huge senton backsplash. He gets a two count on Devitt once again. Steen climbs to the top rope. He waits on Devitt to get to his feet. Devitt manages to stagger. Steen avoids being crotched on the top rope. Devitt catches him with an uppercut. Bloody Sunday is countered when Steen drops down the back. Huge release German Suplex brings Devitt down!
Steen has Devitt set up. Package Piledriver is avoided when Devitt backs Steen into the cage. Another couple more times, and now Devitt has Steen. Tornado DDT brings him down! Devitt reaches over and undoes the turnbuckle pad from the bolt. It was that metal bolt which knocked Steen out back at Rage in the Cage. Devitt hammers away at Steen and irish whips him into the buckle hard. BLOODY SUNDAY BRINGS STEEN DOWN! The fans are holding their breath,and the count is made. Devitt has this one wrapped up and another successful title defense.
NOT QUITE! The hand almost hits the mat, before Steen kicks out! The fans are on their feet. No one has ever kicked out of the Bloody Sunday before. Devitt can’t believe it. He picks up Steen, and goes for the Super Bloody Sunday, the inverted spiked brain buster. Steen kicks his feet and reverses. He has Devitt up onto his shoulders and SNAKE EYES DROPS DEVITT FACE-FIRST ONTO THE EXPOSED BUCKLE! Devitt is hooked, and Package Piledriver connects! Steen covers, and pins Devitt. The fans jump to their feet their feet as we have a new NAWA World Champion. Kevin Steen captured the NAWA World Title over Prince Devitt in 26:40(**** ½)
Kevin Steen hoists the NAWA World Championship Title belt over his head. He has put down Prince Devitt and ended his dominating championship run. And Devitt didn’t make it easy. It was Devitt’s own move exposing the turnbuckle that ended up costing hi big in the end. Steen survived the Bloody Sunday and pulled out the biggest club in his back ,the Package Piledriver.
Season 12 comes to a close, with Kevin Steen standing on the top of the cage, holding the NAWA World Championshp Title Belt over his head. See you on Glory!
