Monday Night RAW January 29th, 1996 Civic Auditorium, Stockton, CA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show opened with Dean Douglas sat at Jack Tunney’s old desk, ready to deliver a prepared statement. Douglas apologised for getting involved in the Free for All match at the Royal Rumble and putting his hands on Sean Waltman. Douglas acknowledged that his conduct was unprofessional and said it would not happen again. The interim WWF President then deviated from the script in order to point out that his interference resulted in Waltman winning the match. Douglas claimed he had climbed the ropes to merely attract the referee’s attention to indicate an earlier indiscretion, but he lost his balance and ended up falling into the ring and on top of Waltman.
Douglas promised to apologise to Sean Waltman in person when the opportunity presents itself. However, to show there’s no hard feelings on his part, Douglas wanted to make it up to Waltman. He acknowledged that both Waltman and Great Muta have recent wins, albeit by DQ, over the Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga. Douglas says it is clear that Waltman and Muta want Borga’s gold, so he booked a Best Two out of Three Falls Match between the two men for next week’s edition of RAW, with the winner getting Borga for the title at In Your House. Douglas said may the best man win and closed by flashing that wide grin, full of smugness and self-satisfaction, at the camera which can only suggest he is up to something.
Ludvig Borga pinned Tim Patterson with the Rack and Ruin in 0:02:31. Rating: * 1/4
After the match, Todd Pettengill grabbed a word with Gary Hart at ringside and inquired who Ludvig Borga would prefer to defend against at In Your House – Sean Waltman or the Great Muta? Hart said that it doesn’t matter to them who wins next week. Borga hates them both equally and at In Your House he will crush whomever challenges him. And he will enjoy every single second of it.
In this week’s In Your House report, Dok Hendrix confirmed that a six man tag team match has been signed for the pay-per-view. Owen Hart will team up with The Thrillseekers to battle the Gentleman’s Club trio of The British Bulldog and new WWF Tag Team Champions Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley.
British Bulldog made Fatu submit to the Bulldog Bite in 0:05:41. Rating: * 3/4
Lord Alfred Hayes joined the commentary team for the British Bulldog’s first match back on RAW since October. Hayes claimed that he and new Tag Team Champions Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley received a congratulatory telegram from the Queen after winning the titles last week. Hayes added that with the Bulldog – who he described as the best guard dog in the business - watching their backs, they will hold on to the belts for as long as they desire.
Footage was shown from the Royal Rumble of Kane interfering in the casket match between The Undertaker and Sabu, costing his brother the match before locking The Undertaker in the casket and setting it alight! Officials then prised open the casket, only to reveal that The Undertaker was not in there. Where has The Undertaker been sent, and will we ever see him again?
Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase came out in his motorised wheelchair to a cacophony of deafening boos. DiBiase talked about what a beautiful night it had been at the Royal Rumble, when Kane lifted his big brother up in the air and choke slammed him down into his own casket! DiBiase then described how he and Kane padlocked The Undertaker in his casket and rolled him down the aisle, where Kane took an axe and started chopping. DiBiase claimed that there were people in the crowd crying when he handed the book of matches to Kane for him to start the towering inferno. The Million Dollar Man stated that all The Undertaker had to do was accept a match with his brother, but he was too gutless. Now, that coward is gone and never to return! *GONG* The arena plunged into darkness and The Undertaker’s dirge began to play! DiBiase looked like he might have soiled himself! Four hooded druids carried the burned casket from the Royal Rumble out beside DiBiase, the lights still off and the arena soaked in purple light. We heard The Undertaker’s ghoulish proclamation at the Royal Rumble that he would not rest in peace and now it seemed he was back to confront DiBiase. Once the druids departed, the damaged lid of the casket popped open and fire shot out of the turnbuckles! However it wasn’t The Undertaker who got out of the casket, but rather his dastardly brother Kane!! Ted DiBiase cackled like only he can, delighted to have put one over on the audience. The crimson monster stood beside The Million Dollar Man, who introduced him as the last living member of The Undertaker’s family. DiBiase and Kane were booed out of the building, as The Million Dollar Man laughed maniacally and the demonic Kane stood stoically beside him, his unreadable mask an ominous blank slate of fear.
Thought Phantasio had magically disappeared into thin air? Think again, as Phantasio returned to our screens to face off with Jeff Jarrett. Phantasio was in the middle of an elaborate entrance which involved levitating his new glamorous assistant when suddenly Jesse James barged past him, swiped Jarrett’s guitar and stormed the ring. Jarrett quickly bailed out before James took the mic. James wanted to settle the issue between them once and for all, but without lawyers and courtrooms. James challenged Jarrett to a match at In Your House. James said that if Jarrett wins, James will never sing “With My Baby Tonight” ever again, nor will he continue to refer to himself as “The Real Double J”. But when he wins, James gets everything he is owed – all the royalties and all the credit. After a brief discussion with Wynonna, Jarrett accepted the terms for the match. James was delighted and said the whole world already knows that he is the better singer and the better entertainer; at In Your House, he will prove that he is also the better wrestler. James then began to play Jarrett’s guitar, much to Jarrett’s chagrin. Jarrett tried to rush the ring, but thought better of it after James took a swing at him with the guitar.
Sabu pinned Bam Bam Bigelow with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:10:43. Rating: *** [Paul Bearer interfered against Bam Bam Bigelow.]
After a slugfest to begin, Bam Bam Bigelow crushed Sabu with an avalanche. Bigelow went for a press slam but after Sabu slid down and countered into a sunset flip, Bigelow sat down on him! Paul Bearer, who had joined the announcers at ringside, sang Sabu's praises as the only man who has ever beaten The Undertaker in a Casket Match. Bearer said that Sabu is now going after championship gold.
Air Sabu found its mark in the corner, before Sabu leapt off the chair again and took Bam Bam Bigelow and himself over the top rope with a cross body. A baseball slide sent Bigelow into the railing and Sabu hit a springboard plancha to the outside. While Paul Bearer left commentary to distract the referee, Sabu put Bigelow through a table at ringside with a slingshot legdrop! Bigelow got his second wind with headbutts and a stiff power bomb. Bam Bam bodyslammed Sabu onto the chair and went for the flying headbutt, but Sabu rolled out of harm's way and Bigelow struck the chair! Sabu then scored with the Triple Jump Moonsault for the pin.
Diesel was shown making his way towards the Gorilla position ahead of the next match when Razor Ramon showed up. The Bad Guy was being held back by a glut of officials, who formed a human wall between Ramon and Diesel. Ramon was hot at being on the receiving end of three Jackknife power bombs on last week’s show. Shawn Michaels, who was by Diesel’s side, took great joy in doing everything he could to provoke Ramon. With a big obnoxious smile on his face, Michaels told Razor to stop hiding behind referees so that Diesel could mow him down again. The officials succeeded in dragging Ramon back to his dressing room. Big Daddy Cool yelled after Ramon that he should have never come back.
Diesel pinned Bob Holly with the Jackknife in 0:03:04. Rating: * 3/4
After the match, Diesel and Shawn Michaels turned their attention to the aisle where Razor Ramon was trying to fight his way past the same group of officials. Ramon was once again after a piece of the big man. Michaels took the mic with a grin and warned Ramon to calm down before he gives himself a hernia. Michaels deduced that Razor wants payback after Big Daddy Cool flattened him last week and suggested that Ramon and Diesel have a match at the upcoming In Your House pay-per-view. However, The Heartbreak Kid stipulated that they will only agree to the match if Ramon puts up his WrestleMania Title shot. Michaels tossed the mic to Ramon for a response. Razor said they had a deal and left, while Michaels looked like he had gotten exactly what he wanted.
Circuit information: Shawn Michaels successfully goaded Razor Ramon into putting his WrestleMania Title shot on the line when The Bad Guy squares off against Diesel at In Your House. It shows how desperate Ramon is to get his hands on Big Daddy Cool for last week’s attack that he would willingly risk it all to do so. The Heartbreak Kid would much prefer the night off rather than defend his WWF Championship on the biggest show of the year, especially against arch-enemy Ramon.
What a couple of weeks it has been for Sabu, who must be a title contender now after tonight's hard-fought victory over Bam Bam Bigelow.
This past weekend on Superstars it was Jeff Jarrett who prevented Jesse James from competing when he took out his former Roadie with a guitar shot. Tonight, James interrupted Jarrett’s match before it could begin and issued a challenge for In Your House. The stakes are extremely high. If Jarrett loses, his country music career – which is on life support after James’ revelations - is pretty much finished, while if James loses, he’ll never get the proper credit and remuneration he feels that his talents deserve.
This weekend on Superstars we'll bring you the first part of a revealing sit-down interview that Jim Ross recently conducted with the returning Jake "The Snake" Roberts, in which Roberts discusses his past substance abuse problems. Jake speaks candidly about his demons and how he has become a changed man. Also on the show, Savio Vega battles Raven, Lex Luger and the Big Boss Man team up again to face Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw and Uncle Zebekiah, plus Tammy Fytch makes her in-ring debut alongside Scott Steiner and Tom Prichard when they collide with Rockin' Robin and The New Rockers in a mixed tag match! It is a packed show this weekend, make sure you tune in! Till then, so long everybody!!

I had no idea Crush had such awesome theme music.
Interesting to see a completely different Flock than we saw in WCW. Radford, MMR, and Birdman are all good choices. I hope we'll see Chaz and Glenn become The Headbangers as part of The Flock; that's a team that would seem to fit perfectly with the theme.
Good return by Razor. I loved his Christmas gift to HBK.
Good stuff as usual.

WWF Superstars February 3rd, 1996 Convention Center, San Jose, CA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect. The show opened with comments from Fytch Wrestling Enterprises ahead of tonight’s six person tag team match which pits Tammy Fytch, Scott Steiner and Tom Prichard against Rockin’ Robin and The New Rockers. Scott Steiner quipped that if this is a proper mixed tag match, shouldn’t there be some men on the other team? Steiner added that the beatings that The Rockers have received from Kane recently will be nothing compared to the pain which is about to be inflicted upon them. Fytch closed by warning Robin not to get in her face or she'll be made to regret it. Brian Pillman cut a scathing promo on Lex Luger for putting him in the Rebel Rack on last week’s show. Pillman lit into Luger for attacking an injured man, which he claimed had set his recovery back several weeks. Big Boss Man and Lex Luger defeated Justin Bradshaw and Uncle Zebekiah when Luger defeated Zebekiah via pinfall in 0:10:19. Rating: ** 3/4 [Brian Pillman interfered against Lex Luger.]Lex Luger was controlling things for his team, taking down Justin Bradshaw with a series of clotheslines, before Brian Pillman hobbled down to ringside. Pillman tripped Luger coming off the ropes to grab his attention but before Luger could go after Pillman, Bradshaw clobbered The Total Package. Later in the bout, Pillman took the ref so that Steve Austin could rush the ring. While Bradshaw and the Big Boss Man battled outside the ring, Austin took the branding iron and told Uncle Zebekiah to hold Luger in place. Austin wound up, but Luger moved and poor Uncle Zeb took the shot! Austin quickly bailed, angry with himself, while Luger covered Zebekiah for the pin. Afterwards, Justin Bradshaw took umbrage with Steve Austin’s botched interference and stalked The Stunning One to the back. That left Brian Pillman all alone and at the mercy of Lex Luger and the Big Boss Man. Pillman began favouring his bad knee, but he would get no sympathy. Boss Man ripped Pillman’s shirt off and Luger branded him in the chest, much to the delight of the crowd! Sean Waltman will meet the Great Muta in a Best Two out of Three Falls Match this week on RAW, with the winner going on to face Ludvig Borga for the Intercontinental Title at In Your House. A video package rolled which documented Waltman and Muta's previous encounters with Borga: Waltman rolled up Borga for the pin in a six man tag team match on the 18th September 1995 edition of RAW; six days later at In Your House, Waltman pinned Borga after "botched" interference from Muta (Waltman thought he'd won the Intercontinental Championship but Dean Douglas had the decision reversed); at In Your House last December, Muta defeated The Hellraiser from Helsinki by DQ after Borga pulled the ref in front of a kick to the head; finally, on the Free for All before last month's Royal Rumble, Waltman picked up the DQ win over Borga to enter the Rumble at number 30 when a Douglas run-in backfired. Ludvig Borga's record against either of these two superstars is not one to be bragged about. Savio Vega was scheduled to face Raven next, but instead of coming to the ring Raven and his Flock were seated in the crowd. Raven said that he refuses to conform to the rules and will instead go by his own. Raven repeated the terms of his contract which states that he wrestles where he wants, when he wants. Raven then instructed Man Mountain Rock to get in the ring and fight Vega. Savio Vega pinned Man Mountain Rock with the Caribbean Kick in 0:03:52. Rating: * 1/4Man Mountain Rock cut Savio Vega off at ringside before the Caribbean superstar could get to Raven. During the match, Vega laid out Rock with a jumping high kick and then called out to Raven to get his butt in the ring. Raven stood up but did nothing else. Vega finally finished Rock off with the Caribbean Kick. No sooner had the pinfall been recorded than Rad Radford and The Birdman hit the ring. Vega did a good job fighting them off until the numbers game took over. Rock provided the distraction allowing Raven to come in at the last moment and hit the DDT. The Poet of the Macabre then kneeled over the fallen Vega. In the first part of a sit-down interview with announcer Jim Ross, Jake Roberts explained that despite his success in the squared circle over the years, he has done a lot of things that would shock the audience. He made the wrong decisions in life. He was a hopeless alcoholic, he became addicted to cocaine. Roberts was not proud of it; this was something he suffered through every day. Roberts said that when people ask him what was the toughest fight in his life, he doesn't answer Andre the Giant or Rick Rude. The toughest fight in Jake Roberts’ life was looking in the mirror and knowing that he hated himself. More to come from Jake next week. Waylon Mercy made Robert Thompson submit to the Procedure in 0:04:36. Rating: 1/2*Further hype for this Monday's bout between Sean Waltman and Great Muta came in the form of a highlights package of their previous battles at last year's King of the Ring and SummerSlam pay-per-views. Muta downed Waltman in the first encounter with a German suplex; Waltman returned the favour with a Northern Lights suplex two months later. Both of these matches were incredible and Vince McMahon drooled that we are in for another treat this Monday. Speaking as a former Intercontinental Champion himself, Mr Perfect felt that Ludvig Borga has a lot to prove - but Perfect was confident that Borga will convincingly finish off whichever one of these two punks is unfortunate enough to go up against Borga at In Your House. A feature aired on Jesse James which detailed his previous service in the United States Marine Corps. James fought in Operation Desert Storm in 1991, where he was a platoon sergeant in command of thirty-three Marines. James said that he looks back proudly on his military career, not just on how he served and helped his country, but how his service helped him. James credited the Marine Corps with giving him the mindset, skill set and work ethic he would need to make it in the ring and in life. James is set to face Jeff Jarrett at In Your House and after living in Jarrett's shadow for so long, the charismatic Jesse James is ready to step up. Six Person Mixed Tag Team Match Rockin' Robin and The New Rockers vs Tammy Fytch, Scott Steiner and Tom PrichardThere was a strict rule in place for this mixed tag team match to prevent male and female competitors from attacking each other. Only the men can wrestle the men and the women can wrestle the women. This was a source of frustration for Rockin’ Robin as each time she tagged in, Tammy Fytch dropped off the apron and refused to tag in. Robin then had to tag back out, exasperated. Eventually, Robin made a tag while Fytch had her back to the ring, goading the crowd instead of paying attention to the match. The New Rockers then dropkicked Tom Prichard who bumped into Fytch. The referee, who was also getting fed up with Fytch’s tactics, considered this to be a legal tag! The crowd popped as Fytch realised the danger she was in. Robin chased Fytch around the ring, before Fytch rolled in and kicked Robin as she re-entered. Fytch scratched, slapped and pulled hair to stay in control, but then got a little too overconfident and went for an elbowdrop. Robin dodged the blow and then took over with a series of snap mares, before dropkicking Fytch out of the ring. The crowd were eating this up, delighted to see Fytch finally get her comeuppance. If Fytch thought she would get some respite on the floor she had another thing coming, as Robin wiped her out with a cross-body dive off the apron! That was all Scott Steiner could take. He threw Marty Jannetty into the steel steps and then dropped Leif Cassidy across the guardrail, before turning his attention to Rockin’ Robin. Steiner grabbed Robin by the hair and threw her into the ring, where he effortlessly yet forcefully shoved her to the mat. On commentary, Vince McMahon yelled at Steiner to leave her alone. In a sickening and shocking turn of events, Steiner locked Robin in the Steiner Recliner, torturing the poor woman’s body. The referee called for the disqualification at once, but the dangerous Steiner had gone off the deep end once again. The New Rockers (Leif Cassidy and Marty Jannetty) and Rockin' Robin defeated Fytch Wrestling Enterprises (Scott Steiner, Tammy Fytch and Tom Prichard) when Robin defeated Fytch by disqualification in 0:14:48. Rating: ** 1/4Scott Steiner would not release the hold. The referee tried to break Steiner’s grip but Tom Prichard knocked out the man in stripes. Tammy Fytch brushed herself down and proceeded to slap the helpless Robin hard across the face! The Heavenly Bodies kept The Rockers at bay while Fytch continued to add insult to injury. Finally, Crush stormed the ring for the save! Crush took out The Heavenly Bodies with a pair of wicked clotheslines, but Scott Steiner managed to escape unscathed. Steiner and Tammy Fytch backed up the aisle laughing, while Crush paced up and down the ring seething and refusing to take his eyes off his opponent at In Your House. Crush then joined The Rockers at the side of Rockin’ Robin, who was in exorbitant amounts of pain. Paramedics tended to the former Women’s Champion as Superstars drew to a close. Circuit information: Scott Steiner stepped over the line once again tonight. It was bad enough when Steiner struck Robin with a clothesline some weeks ago, but to actually go out of his way to hurt and injure this poor woman is absolutely reprehensible. Crush cannot wait to get Steiner all to himself inside that steel cage at In Your House. Steiner, one of the strongest men in the company, had Robin's spine bent at a gruesome angle as he pulled back on the Recliner. It was feared after the show that the former WWF Women's Champion may have suffered either a herniated or ruptured disc in her neck. We'll bring you an injury update as soon as we have it. We were certainly looking forward to Raven facing off with Savio Vega tonight but it was not to be as Raven sent Man Mountain Rock into battle. Vega held his own but the odds were too much and he was once again left laying after a DDT from Raven. Vega and Raven will finally collide next week on Superstars. The wait for the much publicised Two out of Three Falls Match between Sean Waltman and the Great Muta is almost over. Who will come out on top in this gruelling encounter this week on RAW and then go on to challenge Ludvig Borga for the Intercontinental Title at In Your House? Not only that but Jeff Jarrett is scheduled for action, plus the trio of Owen Hart and The Thrillseekers are set to make what could potentially be a newsworthy appearance on the Brother Love Show! Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW February 5th, 1996 Civic Auditorium, Stockton, CA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. The show began with a video package documenting Scott Steiner's recent spate of terror through the company which has seen him brutalise Owen Hart, threaten Stu and Helen Hart in their own home and then most recently, put Rockin' Robin in the Steiner Recliner this past weekend on Superstars. Narrator Vince McMahon reminded viewers that this whole path of destruction began with Bret Hart last November when Steiner drilled The Hitman with the SSD on the base of the steel steps. We haven't heard from Hart since that attack, but Vince revealed that The Hitman will appear on Monday Night RAW in two weeks' time and will make a big announcement. Bobby Heenan claimed that his sources were telling him that Bret Hart's announcement will be that he is retiring from wrestling forever. Vince McMahon was horrified by that notion, before revealing that interim president Dean Douglas is under serious pressure from the board of directors to take action against Scott Steiner following last weekend's incident of male-on-female violence. Jeff Jarrett made Phantasio submit to the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:04:27. Rating: * 1/2Phantasio performed some magic for the crowd before this contest, placing his glamourous assistant on a chair, covering her with a heavy silk veil and on the count of three whipped off the veil to show that she had vanished! Before Phantasio could bring her back, Jeff Jarrett attacked him. This match was supposed to happen last week but Jesse James ran in before it could get started. Jarrett made short work of the master illusionist; one thing that Phantasio cannot escape from is the figure-four leglock. After the match, Todd Pettengill grabbed a word with Jeff Jarrett regarding his match with former marine and veteran of the Gulf War, Jesse James, at In Your House. Jarrett scoffed at the idea that James was some sort of war hero, claiming that James never fought on the front line and instead worked in the ROTC recruitment centre. Jarrett said that all James was good for was setting up equipment, driving him around and carrying his bags. Jarrett added that the only way James would get a single cent for his so-called vocal contributions would be over his dead body. IIII LLLOOOOOOVVVVVE YYOOOOOOOU!!!This week’s guests on the Brother Love Show were former WWF Tag Team Champions The Thrillseekers, along with Owen Hart. Love was out to proliferate the tension in the group, asking Lance Storm how it felt to be a former Tag Team Champion. Love asked Owen Hart if he had ever heard the phrase “Two’s company, three’s a crowd”? Owen responded if Love had ever heard the phrase “Mind your own business”? Chris Jericho insisted that there is no problem between Lance Storm and Owen Hart, but everybody is disappointed by their loss. Jericho turned his attention to their six man tag team match with the Gentleman’s Club at In Your House and expressed his delight to have his two best friends in the world fighting by his side. The Rocket said that if the Gentleman’s Club want to play dirty again, then he and the Thrillseekers are ready to fight. Owen put over Jericho as the last survivor of the legendary dungeon, warning Hayes’ men not to underestimate how tough Jericho is. Meanwhile, Lance Storm looked on in the background, seemingly bored. Jericho said they would win the match at In Your House, and then they were coming to get their titles back! This statement was met with adulation from the adoring crowd. Owen gave Jericho a high-five but Storm left Owen hanging, apparently not having seen him. The Gentleman’s Club came out to interrupt, with Lord Steven Regal front and centre. Regal snarled that he is no longer ashamed to admit that he is a dirty rotten scoundrel and that he hates Owen Hart with a raging passion. Regal accused Owen of stealing almost six months of his career, now he wants a chance to repay the favour. Regal challenged Owen to a street fight on next week’s show and added that if he brings those two tarts The Thrillseekers with him, it won’t be enough. Regal vowed to rip Owen’s shoulders out of their sockets and said he won’t just put Owen on the shelf for six months, but he’ll put him out of action permanently. Owen accepted the challenge but Lance Storm interjected, pointing out that if Owen gets injured next week then they’ll be a man down at In Your House. Owen brushed this suggestion off, stating that Regal is the only one who is in danger of missing the pay-per-view. Storm threw his hands up in a “Fine, do what you like” gesture before Jericho went to have a private word with him. Meanwhile, Owen and Regal yelled threats at each other as the show went to commercial. Winner meets Ludvig Borga for the Intercontinental Championship at In Your House Sean Waltman vs Great MutaThese two friends shook hands to start, a nice show of sportsmanship between two great competitors. After some chain wrestling, both men nipped up into a stand-off which drew applause from the crowd. Sean Waltman and Great Muta displayed their martial arts backgrounds, narrowly missing each other with high kicks. A couple of near fall situations resulted in another stand-off; these two men know each other so well. Sean Waltman took control with a spinning leg lariat to the jaw. He unloaded with kicks to the chest in the corner and completed his trademark combination with a leaping spin kick to Muta’s face. Waltman then climbed to the second rope and kicked Muta in the mouth again for good measure. Waltman went for a backdrop, but Muta put on the brakes and slammed Waltman’s face into the mat. Muta used a spinning mule kick and a springboard dropkick, but Waltman had the space rolling elbow scouted and moved out of the way. Waltman tried a huracanrana but Muta planted him with a sitout power bomb. Waltman rolled to the outside, but there he ate a baseball slide and then Muta followed up with a plancha. Muta threw him back in and climbed to the top rope, but the groggy Waltman had enough to dropkick Muta off his perch down to the floor. Waltman then ascended the turnbuckles and flew off with a cannonball dive that took out Muta and also the security railing which collapsed under their weight! The crowd were in awe as both superstars lay amongst them, reeling from the impact. The referee counted both men out. Back from the break and these two wonderful competitors had shaken off the effects of that brutal fall. It was anybody’s match now and the fans were eating up every second of this fast-paced, offensive-minded contest. Sean Waltman’s attempted piledriver was blocked, but then Waltman flipped over into a sunset flip for a near fall. Waltman hit two short legdrops, but missed another cannonball dive off the top. Muta slowed the pace of the bout down, working on Waltman’s leg with a dropkick to the knee, a dragon screw and a half crab. Waltman made the ropes, then rolled up Muta in an inside cradle from which Muta only just escaped in time. Muta used a snap suplex and then went for another, but Waltman slid over and planted him with a German suplex for another close two count. A hard chop stopped Waltman building any momentum and Muta then hit a backdrop suplex. Apart from a few fits and starts from Waltman, Muta was beginning to dominate. The space rolling elbow set up the bulldog, putting Waltman in prime position for the moonsault. However, Waltman got his knees up on Muta’s finish! Waltman did not give Muta a second to catch his breath, leaping onto Muta’s shoulders and using a Victory roll for the three count!! Number-One-Contenders-Two-out-of-three-Falls Match: Sean Waltman beat Great Muta 2 falls to 1: x Waltman and Muta battled to a double countout in 0:10:08 x Waltman beat Muta via the Eye Of The Storm in 0:21:07 Rating: *** 3/4Both superstars earned a standing ovation for playing their part in an absolutely fantastic match. Sean Waltman and Great Muta embraced, their friendship remaining intact after putting it all on the line in pursuit of championship gold. Waltman’s music cut abruptly and was replaced by the strains of the Finnish national anthem. Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga made his way out, along with mouthpiece Gary Hart. Hart said that instead of waiting until In Your House, Waltman could have his title shot right now – take it or leave it! Borga and Muta were obviously keen to capitalise on Waltman’s weakened state after Waltman had just wrestled a gruelling 20+ minute match. Waltman looked out at the crowd, who wanted him to take the match. Muta patted Waltman on the shoulder for encouragement. Waltman told Borga to bring it on!! WWF Intercontinental Championship Ludvig Borga vs Sean WaltmanLudvig Borga thought he could simply pick over the bones of Sean Waltman, but he was given a wake-up call as Waltman used his superior quickness to strike with kicks. Waltman sent Borga crashing through the ropes with a jumping spin kick but couldn’t follow up as Borga side-stepped an attempted tope con hilo. Waltman hit the floor with a splat and perhaps his big chance had gone. Borga lifted Waltman over his shoulder, carried him to the entrance way and dumped him there before jogging back to the ring. Borga was going for the count-out win. Muta tried to drum up support for Waltman by banging against the ring apron. The fans were stomping and clapping, imploring Waltman to make it back in before the referee’s ten count. Waltman clawed and scratched his way back to ringside, before making a desperate dive under the bottom rope to keep his hopes alive. Borga kneed Waltman in the face, knocking the challenger back down to the floor. The Hellraiser from Helsinki instructed the referee to begin counting again. And that’s when interim WWF president Dean Douglas decided to show up. As Waltman struggled to pull himself back up with the assistance of the guardrail, Douglas chose this particular moment to apologise to Waltman in person for his actions at the Royal Rumble. Was this all a ploy by Douglas, trying to distract Waltman and get him counted out? Waltman was not interested at talking to Douglas right now and shoved him into the timekeeper’s lap! Douglas clenched his jaw in anger as Waltman returned to the ring, sliding under Borga’s legs and rocking the champion with a spinning heel kick. A roundhouse kick had Borga reeling. Waltman connected with the Lightning Strike and had Borga covered after hitting his moonsault bodyblock, but Gary Hart got on the apron to stop the referee from counting! Great Muta jumped into action and misted his former manager!! The blinded Hart fell into the ring and as the referee attempted to direct Hart out of the ring, Dean Douglas swiped the Intercontinental Championship belt from the timekeeper’s table and threw it in for Borga to use! As Borga bent down to pick up the strap, Waltman struck with the Eye of the Storm right onto the title belt!! Three seconds later, we had a new Intercontinental Champion!!! Sean Waltman pinned Ludvig Borga with the Eye Of The Storm in 0:05:03. Rating: *** 1/4 (Sean Waltman won the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Gary Hart interfered against Sean Waltman.]What an incredible moment! History has been made here tonight on RAW! Great Muta was the first to congratulate the new Intercontinental Champion Sean Waltman, followed soon after by Bob Holly and The New Rockers who hoisted Waltman onto their shoulders in celebration. The showed ended with the new champion hopping the guardrail to celebrate with the fans, while at the entrance way Dean Douglas looked back towards the ring with pure hatred burning in his eyes. Circuit information: Despite the odds being firmly stacked against him, "Lightning" Sean Waltman pulled off the impossible and captured the Intercontinental Title in a moment that will live long in the memory. It was the first time the championship has changed hands on RAW and Waltman is certainly a most deserving winner. After tonight’s historic show Dean Douglas moved quickly to announce that Sean Waltman will defend his newly-won Intercontinental Championship against Ludvig Borga at In Your House. If only Borga and Gary Hart had waited until the pay-per-view instead of trying to take a short-cut tonight. Then they would still be in possession of the gold, and Dean Douglas would have a few less grey hairs. Lord Steven Regal suffered a dislocated right knee at In Your House back in July, an injury he blames Owen Hart for. Since Regal returned to action he and Owen have been embroiled in a fierce personal vendetta, which will culminate in next week’s street fight between the two superstars on RAW. Even winning the Tag Team Championships has not quelled the rage that Regal feels and he wants to make The Rocket suffer. Make no mistake about it - take away the pomp and circumstance and Lord Steven Regal is a very tough man, more than capable of handling himself. His toughness comes from his old school training in Blackpool, England, where he would perform as part of a carnival, wrestling for several hours per day. Legend has it that fans were invited to try their luck against Regal and the other wrestlers, and it takes a tough individual to control the often drunk and rowdy spectators. But Owen Hart is no pushover and having graduated from the Hart Dungeon, The Rocket is definitely as tough as they come. Who knows how young Owen would have been when father Stu, a tough disciplinarian, first took him down to train in the infamous basement? This is going to be a physical battle, and not for the weak of heart. Here’s how the card is shaping up for the latest instalment in the In Your House pay-per-view series, which will be live on February 18th, 1996 from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky: Steel Cage Match Crush vs Scott SteinerRazor Ramon puts his WWF Title shot at WrestleMania XII on the line Razor Ramon vs DieselWWF Intercontinental Championship Sean Waltman vs Ludvig BorgaSteve Austin vs Lex Luger

WWF Superstars February 10th, 1996 Convention Center, San Jose, CA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect.
The show opened with Vince McMahon speculating over what Bret Hart’s announcement could be when The Hitman appears on RAW in two weeks. Mr. Perfect interrupted with an announcement of his own. Perfect said that his arm is once again in perfect condition, he will very soon be cleared to wrestle and in two weeks he will return to the ring on this very show! Perfect claimed that this was bigger than when Michael Jordan returned to the NBA.
Once again the advertised Raven vs Savio Vega match was not delivered as Raven sent Rad Radford to replace him in the match. During Vega’s entrance he made a diversion through the crowd to go after Raven, but Man Mountain Rock and The Birdman kept Vega at bay and Radford dragged the Caribbean superstar to the ring.
Savio Vega defeated Rad Radford by disqualification in 0:09:42. Rating: ** 3/4 [Man Mountain Rock interfered against Savio Vega.]
Rad Radford was slow in delivering his offence, wary of trying anything without affirmation from his spiritual guru in Raven. He and Raven frequently consulted between manoeuvres, despite the fact that Raven was stood in the crowd. Vega came back with a side suplex and then held the ropes open, inviting Raven into the ring. Vega laid out Radford with the Caribbean Kick but before he could make the cover The Birdman jumped on to the apron. Vega knocked him off before he could attack but Man Mountain Rock blindsided him with a clothesline for the DQ.
The Flock swooped in for the kill after the decision. Rad Radford, Man Mountain Rock and The Birdman all put the boots to the Caribbean superstar, while Raven slid into the ring to sit in the corner and watch. The Birdman planted Savio Vega with a brain buster and then Man Mountain Rock applied the Whammy Bar. Finally, Raven dragged himself up and out of the corner to drill Vega with the DDT once again.
The New Rockers (Leif Cassidy and Marty Jannetty) defeated The Spiders (Spider #1 and Spider #2) when L. Cassidy pinned Spider #2 after a flying sunset flip in 0:05:31. Rating: ** 1/2
During the match The New Rockers cut an insert promo. In a serious tone, Leif Cassidy thanked the fans for their support and concern after Rockin’ Robin was attacked by Scott Steiner last week. Jannetty added that Robin is tough and will be back by their side before you know it.
Clips were shown of the various brawls and altercations that have plagued recent WWF events: Crush and Scott Steiner fighting backstage at the Royal Rumble, Jeff Jarrett clocking Jesse James from behind with a guitar shot, Savio Vega’s recent battles with Raven’s Flock, and Steiner stretching Rockin’ Robin in the Steiner Recliner. Vince McMahon revealed that the WWF Board of Directors are concerned at the lack of law and order in the company, noting that there has been no real improvement since Jack Tunney departed. McMahon once again remarked that interim President Dean Douglas is being pushed strongly to take action against Steiner and Tammy Fytch for their indiscretions last week.
Lex Luger made Greg Davis submit to the Rebel Rack in 0:02:44. Rating: * 3/4
During the match Lex Luger cut an insert promo on Steve Austin. Luger accused Austin of robbing him of two opportunities at the WWF Title and said there will be Hell to pay at In Your House.
Part two of Jake Roberts' sit-down interview with Jim Ross began with Roberts describing how difficult it was to walk through life living a lie, a lie he had lived for thirty-something years. But the past three years have been long, and they have been glorious. He found out Jake "The Snake" Roberts was not the most important thing in life. The most important thing to Jake Roberts today is giving glory to God, because without the blood of the Lamb that was put on him by a gift from Jesus, he would not be standing here today.
Roberts said that he wears a ring on his finger to proclaim the love for his wife, but he wears a light over him from the angels from Heaven to proclaim his love for Jesus Christ. He also said that his snake is no longer named Damian, but is now called Revelations. Jake vowed to use this new snake to fight the many serpents that are in the WWF, in order to expose the darkness to the true light.
Footage was shown of Sean Waltman's remarkable Intercontinental Championship victory last week on RAW. Mr. Perfect said seeing Waltman with the title made him feel sick and he was backing Ludvig Borga to regain the gold at In Your House.
Razor Ramon pinned Rockabilly with the Razor's Edge in 0:05:09. Rating: ** 1/2
During the match, Razor Ramon cut an insert promo in which he addressed the attack by Shawn Michaels and Diesel on the King’s Court. Ramon said that he has felt the Jackknife before and he got back up. The Bad Guy said it will take a lot more than that to stop him. Ramon said that Diesel will not get a chance to hit it again and at In Your House, he will defeat Big Daddy Cool and then go on to become the WWF Champion at WrestleMania.
Rockabilly targeted Razor Ramon's back in this bout, hoping to take advantage after Ramon took three Jackknife power bombs almost two weeks ago. But The Bad Guy brushed off Rockabilly’s offence and Tennessee Lee’s last remaining charge was left staring at the lights following the Razor’s Edge.
Vince McMahon announced that a gigantic star-laden six man tag team match has been signed for the pay-per-view go-home show this week on RAW. This bout will see the trio of WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, his bodyguard Diesel and “Superstar” Scott Steiner go up against Razor Ramon, Crush and The Ultimate Warrior! McMahon called it perhaps the biggest match in the history of Monday Night RAW.
Fatu pinned Waylon Mercy after a powerslam in 0:08:21. Rating: ** 1/2 [Nurse Luna interfered against Fatu.]
Fatu got a measure of revenge here for his Royal Rumble elimination at the hands of the Good Doctor, pinning Waylon Mercy with a big powerslam after Mercy had collided with Nurse Luna on the ring apron.
As the show drew to a close Vince McMahon took a call from Gorilla Monsoon, who is a member of the WWF Board of Directors. Monsoon revealed that he will be on RAW this week for a chat with Dean Douglas, remarking that the interim President has some explaining to do!
Circuit information: A match between Raven and Savio Vega has been scheduled for the last two weeks on Superstars, but each time Raven has sent one of his Flock into battle at the last minute. The end result is always the same though - Savio Vega is left battered and beaten. However, we can exclusively reveal that Raven has agreed to face Vega at In Your House. Before that however, Raven will compete in a warm-up match next weekend on Superstars, the Poet of the Macabre's first bout since undergoing this metamorphosis.
Mr Perfect has begun hyping his return to the ring in two weeks and it will be great to see the former Intercontinental Champion back in action. It will be interesting to see if Perfect continues his crusade against the New Generation upon his return; from the disparaging comments Perfect has been making each week on commentary, it is obvious he is still bitter that he missed the Survivor Series showdown with the New Generation due to the torn biceps suffered in the summer.
Here’s how the card is shaping up for the next instalment in the In Your House pay-per-view series, which will be live on February 18th, 1996 from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky:
Steel Cage Match Crush vs Scott Steiner
Razor Ramon puts his WWF Title shot at WrestleMania XII on the line Razor Ramon vs Diesel
WWF Intercontinental Championship Sean Waltman vs Ludvig Borga
Jeff Jarrett vs Jesse James
Savio Vega vs Raven
Owen Hart and The Thrillseekers vs Lord Steven Regal, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and British Bulldog
Free For All Steve Austin vs Lex Luger
It promises to be a very uncomfortable night for interim President Dean Douglas this week on RAW as Gorilla Monsoon will be on hand for a full and frank discussion regarding some of Douglas’ recent actions, or lack of them. And just six days before they compete on opposite sides in a six man tag team match, Lord Steven Regal and Owen Hart will wage war in a street fight! Plus, we’ll bring you what is being plugged as the biggest bout in RAW history as the trio of WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, his bodyguard Diesel and “Superstar” Scott Steiner go up against Razor Ramon, Crush and The Ultimate Warrior! This will be a show you do not want to miss. Till then, so long everybody!!

Monday Night RAW February 12th, 1996 Civic Auditorium, Stockton, CA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Backstage, the locker room had taken a stand against Scott Steiner. The wrestlers were angry at Steiner for his recent assault on Rockin’ Robin and were refusing to let him in to get changed. Crush was at the head of the group of superstars that were blocking Steiner’s route in. Crush grabbed Steiner’s bag and lobbed it into the corridor. He warned Steiner that he is not welcome in the locker room, but Crush will welcome him into the ring later tonight and was looking forward to beating the snot out of him. Tammy Fytch pulled Steiner away, saying that this situation is ridiculous and they were going to talk to Dean Douglas about it. Gorilla Monsoon, a member of the WWF Board of Directors, was shown arriving at the arena. Monsoon was here to warn interim President Dean Douglas about his future conduct. Douglas certainly is a man in demand tonight. Street Fight Lord Steven Regal vs Owen HartWhat a super stiff war between Owen Hart and Lord Steven Regal. They battled through each other’s offence with some absolutely nasty, brutal strikes. If they weren't doing that, they were bending each other’s limbs in violent fashion, perhaps determined to cause injury and give their team a numerical advantage for the six man tag at In Your House this Sunday. Regal attacked immediately as Owen entered the ring and took the early advantage. Owen came back, lifting Regal by the hair and slamming him down, before using a ropeburn. On the outside, Owen rammed Regal into the guardrail and flung him hard into the ring steps. They fought down the aisle, where Owen bodyslammed Regal on the concrete floor. Regal went to the eyes and stomped on Owen’s fingers. Regal punished Owen with a headbutt to the lower abdomen and destroyed The Rocket in the corner with a succession of wicked European uppercuts. It was noticeable that Regal was grinding his forearm across the face of Owen every single time he went for a lateral press. Regal used a dangerous suplex from the ring out to the floor and followed by landing an elbow off the apron. Owen blocked a piledriver in the aisle, but Regal then stiffed the ever loving hell out of Owen with a lariat which reverberated around the arena. Lord Steven Regal used his singlet strap to choke Owen, before putting the Rocket in the Tree of Woe. With Owen helpless, Regal stomped away and choked him with his boot. While the referee helped Owen from his predicament, Regal removed the turnbuckle pad from the opposite corner. However, Owen blocked Regal’s attempt to smash his head into the exposed steel and it was Regal who took the blow! The crowd popped as Owen connected with an enzuigiri. Fatigue was beginning to set in now. Owen went for the Sharpshooter, but Regal blocked with a thumb to the eye. Lord Alfred Hayes passed a pair of brass knuckles to Regal, but Owen ducked the wild swing and laid him out with a back suplex! Owen scored with the Rocket Launcher, but that brought out the other card-carrying members of the Gentleman’s Club, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and the British Bulldog. Helmsley and Bulldog jumped Owen – perfectly legal in a street fight – before The Thrillseekers came out to even the odds. Chris Jericho and Lance Storm took care of Helmsley and Bulldog with stereo dives. Capitalising on the disturbance, Regal whipped Owen into the exposed buckle. Regal went for a dropkick, but Owen caught him and used a slingshot into the exposed steel! Straight away Owen clamped on the Sharpshooter and Regal submitted immediately. [Street Fight]: No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Owen Hart made Lord Steven Regal submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:12:18. Rating: **** [British Bulldog and Hunter Hearst Helmsley interfered against Owen Hart.]Lord Steven Regal giving up very quickly was perhaps a smart move on his part. He has only recently come back from a serious knee injury, he is one half of the Tag Team Champions and he has a big match this Sunday at in Your House, so the last thing he wants is more time spent on the shelf. The Thrillseekers celebrated with the battered and exhausted Owen after the match, with not a hint of dissension in the group. Dean Douglas bumped into Gorilla Monsoon backstage and immediately started sucking up to the Hall of Famer. Monsoon wasn’t having any of it and instead brought up the fact that Douglas tried to give Ludvig Borga the Intercontinental Title belt to use on Sean Waltman last week. Monsoon noted that this wasn’t the first time that Douglas had tried to interfere and cost Waltman a match. Douglas said that Waltman had put his hands on him, assaulting him, and as a man he couldn’t let that go. Monsoon reminded Douglas that he is the interim President and as such, he must start acting professionally and put all petty personal issues aside. Monsoon warned him to keep his emotions in check if he wishes to remain in the job. Monsoon said that if the President of the company cannot control himself, how is he supposed to control the WWF superstars? Monsoon informed Douglas that since all Hell seems to break loose on a weekly basis here in the WWF, the Board of Directors have decided to hire a Commissioner to help restore some order. Monsoon said that an executive committee has been gathered and they are going through the list of candidates for the new Commissioner right now. Next week, they’ll announce their decision. Douglas thought it was completely unnecessary to appoint a Commissioner, but Monsoon disagreed. Monsoon further warned Douglas that he can either work with the new Commissioner, or not work at all. Scott Steiner and Tammy Fytch then interrupted to complain about the treatment Steiner has been receiving from his peers. Monsoon said that these two were the most disruptive people on the roster and added that what Steiner did to Rockin’ Robin was a disgrace. Monsoon felt that things will change for the pair very soon and claimed it was about time Douglas took action against them. Douglas responded that Steiner has to face Crush inside a steel cage this Sunday – isn’t that enough? Fytch yelled that when that cage is locked at In Your House, it will confine Crush to the worst beating of his life. Monsoon remarked that the fiery Fytch belongs in a cage of her own. Gorilla thought he had stumbled upon a great idea and asked Douglas what he thought. Desperate to cling on to his job, Douglas agreed to put Fytch in a cage for the duration of the bout at In Your House! Fytch went wild, screaming that there was no way that would happen. Monsoon suggested that if Fytch refuses to go in the cage, then the match should be awarded to Crush via forfeit – don’t you think, Dean? Feeling smaller than ever, Douglas agreed to that too. Satisfied, Monsoon departed, leaving Douglas to deal with Steiner and Fytch. Commercial break:Ultimate Warrior plugs his wrestling school in Arizona called "Warrior University".With Tammy Fytch screeching in one ear and Scott Steiner yelling in the other, Dean Douglas was developing a serious headache. Rubbing his temples, Douglas explained he was under a lot of pressure and his hands were tied. However, Douglas reasoned that when Diesel takes care of Razor Ramon at In Your House, that frees up Shawn Michaels for WrestleMania and a new challenger for the WWF Title will need to be named. And if Steiner can defeat Crush, then maybe Steiner can get that title shot? Steiner mulled it over, looked at Fytch and told her that she's getting in that cage. Fytch directed her anger at Steiner as the two left, finally giving Douglas some peace. Jesse James cut a promo ahead of his match with Jeff Jarrett at In Your House. James reminded Jarrett that he spent well over a year watching every single Jeff Jarrett match at ringside. He knows everything that Jarrett is going to do in that ring, perhaps even before Jarrett has thought about doing it. James felt that this gives him the advantage on Sunday and then offered to give Jarrett a signed copy of “With My Baby Tonight” to ease the pain of defeat. Shawn Michaels, Diesel and Scott Steiner vs Razor Ramon, Crush and The Ultimate WarriorCrush, Razor Ramon and The Ultimate Warrior and Two Dudes with Attitudes (Shawn Michaels and Diesel) and Scott Steiner battled to a no-contest in 0:08:05. Rating: *** 1/2 [TITAN interfered against The Ultimate Warrior.]There was just too much bad blood pouring between both of these teams that the referee had no chance of containing things. Crush and Scott Steiner mixed it up in front of the announcers’ table, while Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels battled over on the other side of the ringside area. In the ring, Diesel and The Ultimate Warrior waged war on one another. Razor and Michaels then split off and brawled through the crowd, while Crush and Steiner took turns bashing each other’s heads into the desk. Crush clotheslined Steiner over the guardrail and they continued their fight in another part of the arena. The crowd was loving the absolute chaos unfolding in front of their eyes! Warrior ducked under a big boot from Diesel and replied with a diving shoulderblock, taking Big Daddy Cool down. Warrior shook the ropes with gusto, firing himself up to deliver the Big Splash and did not notice TITAN stepping over the top strand! TITAN wrapped a hand around Warrior’s throat. Warrior desperately tried to fight it but could not break the giant’s grip! With an almighty yell, TITAN lifted Warrior up and hit the choke slam…SENDING WARRIOR RIGHT THROUGH THE RING!!! The crowd, the announcers and Harvey Wippleman were all in disbelief at the sight of Warrior being sent crashing through the canvas. The show closed with a shot of Warrior slumped motionless in the hole where the ring mat used to be. Circuit information: Tonight's show succeeded in highlighting that whomever is named the new Commissioner has their work cut out for them. The six man tag main event fell apart before it even got going, culminating in TITAN wandering out and choke slamming The Ultimate Warrior straight through the ring. It was one of the most incredible sights ever witnessed in the WWF. Warrior was given medical treatment after the show and we hope to bring you an update on his condition soon. Dean Douglas had a stressful evening and at points it appeared that he was making decisions just to save his job as interim president. One of those decisions is to put Tammy Fytch in a cage of her own outside the ring at In Your House while Crush and Scott Steiner wage war inside the steel cage around the ring. Fytch is not happy about this to say the least - what a sight that will be this Sunday! Let's recap the final card for this Sunday's In Your House pay-per-view, live from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky: Steel Cage Match Crush vs Scott SteinerThe animosity between Crush and Scott Steiner is well documented and the final chapter in this feud will be written when they meet in a Steel Cage Match this Sunday. Their rivalry began this past summer when Steiner claimed that Crush is a big match choker, having come up short in title matches and Royal Rumbles over the years. Crush did defeat Steiner in a singles bout at In Your House in October, but Steiner laid him out with a low blow afterwards. The two superstars were the sole survivors in the first ever Wild Card Match at Survivor Series, a result that Steiner took all the credit for. With Steiner running roughshod through the company as of late, Crush has taken exception more than anyone. When Crush eliminated Steiner from the Royal Rumble last month, Steiner reached back in and leveraged Crush over the top rope. The two men then proceeded to fight through the arena and into the parking lot, resulting in the cage stipulation being added to this clash. And to ensure that the devious Tammy Fytch is a non-factor, she will be locked up in a shark cage for the duration of the contest! Razor Ramon puts his WWF Title shot at WrestleMania XII on the line Razor Ramon vs DieselRazor Ramon made a surprise return at last month’s Royal Rumble, entering at number 17 and upon arrival he ended Diesel’s show of dominance, tossing Shawn Michaels' bodyguard to the floor after Big Daddy Cool had eliminated six men from the fray. Ramon went on to win the 30-man match to earn a shot at the WWF Championship at WrestleMania XII. Shawn Michaels currently holds the gold and Ramon would dearly love to face his old rival in the main event of the biggest show of the year, as it presents him with the chance to avenge last year’s defeat while also taking the prize that Michaels holds most dear. Michaels and Diesel orchestrated an attack on Ramon the night after the Rumble, with Big Daddy Cool destroying the Bad Guy with three Jackknife power bombs. Desperate for revenge, Ramon was goaded into accepting a match with Diesel at In Your House if he put his WrestleMania title shot on the line. The fact that Ramon was willing to risk his title match shows how much he wants to even the score with Diesel, but it could end up being an extremely foolish move on the part of the Bad Guy if Diesel gets the win. Now that would certainly make Shawn Michaels a very happy man. WWF Intercontinental Championship Sean Waltman vs Ludvig BorgaDean Douglas, the interim WWF President, has allowed things to get personal between himself and Sean Waltman. Waltman got under Douglas’ skin when he accidentally struck Douglas with a steel chair last December, and then Waltman laughed when deposed President Jack Tunney decked his successor on the way out of the company. Douglas was instrumental in getting the team of Waltman and the Great Muta disqualified in the RAW Bowl, thus dashing their hopes of claiming a Tag Team Title shot, and then Douglas tried to interfere in Waltman’s match with Ludvig Borga on the Royal Rumble Free For All, a bout in which the loser would enter the Rumble at number one. Under pressure from the Board of Directors, Douglas subsequently apologised to Waltman but then again tried to interject himself in last week’s impromptu Intercontinental Title Match by throwing in the championship belt for Borga to use. The interference backfired spectacularly as Waltman drilled Borga with the Eye of the Storm onto the strap to win the title. Continuing to use his position of power to mess with Waltman, Douglas hastily arranged this rematch for In Your House. Can Douglas be trusted not to get involved yet again? Jeff Jarrett vs Jesse JamesLast month, Jeff Jarrett’s latest attempt to reboot his career was rudely interrupted by his former roadie Jesse James, who revealed that he was the true vocalist on the hit song “With My Baby Tonight”. Threats of suits and counter-suits followed; James seeking compensation for his vocal contributions and Jarrett complaining about defamation of character. Instead of battling in the courts, these two former acquaintances will battle in the ring this Sunday with the following stipulations. If Jarrett wins, James will never sing “With My Baby Tonight” ever again, nor will he continue to refer to himself as “The Real Double J”. If James wins, he gets everything he is owed – all the royalties and all the credit. This whole episode has been extremely damaging for Jarrett. Recording studios and music producers in Nashville don’t want anything to do with him. But how much more damaging would a loss to his former roadie - the man who used to drive him around and carry his bags - be to Jarrett? Will James finally get the credit his talents deserve, or will Jarrett be able to remove this thorn from his side once and for all? Raven vs Savio VegaThis rivalry started the weekend before last month’s Royal Rumble when Raven struck Savio Vega with a DDT on the ringside floor, giving Vega a concussion and ruling him out of the Rumble match. The attack was completely unprovoked and all of a sudden Raven developed a cult-like following for his dark messianic demeanour and actions, courting Rad Radford, Man Mountain Rock and The Birdman to join his side. Vega is desperate for a piece of Raven, but Raven has continually refused to fight him. Over the past month Vega has been the victim of weekly gang beatings by the Flock, punctuated each time by a DDT from Raven. With his iron-clad contract giving him the freedom to choose when he wrestles, Raven has finally accepted a match with Vega at In Your House in order to put the Caribbean superstar out of his misery. Vega is desperate to make Raven suffer but you know that wherever the Poet of the Macabre is, his Flock of misfits and miscreants will not be far behind. Owen Hart and The Thrillseekers vs Lord Steven Regal, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and British BulldogThe association between Owen Hart and The Thrillseekers began at the Royal Rumble when Owen turned up to replace Lance Storm in the Tag Team Champions’ title defence against Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley after the Gentleman’s Club injured Storm before the match started. Owen helped Jericho and Storm retain, but the next night on RAW they dropped the belts in a rematch after the British Bulldog interfered. Lance Storm was furious that Owen had concerned himself with tending to Storm, who had been shoved to the ringside floor by Regal, and neglected what was going on in the ring. The Thrillseekers’ 365-day run as champions was over without Storm even being involved. Any issues between Storm and Owen appear to be behind them now as this trio worked together to curtail the interference from the Gentleman’s Club in tonight’s street fight which saw Owen defeat Regal. We’ll see if this alliance can last when they are tested by Hayes’ men this Sunday. Free For All Lex Luger vs Steve AustinIn recent months Lex Luger has made it his mission to take a stand against outside interference, particularly by managers and cornermen. One of the biggest culprits of this is Brian Pillman, currently sidelined with a knee injury, whose presence at ringside has played a significant factor in tag team partner Steve Austin’s success in singles competition. Back in December Luger took it upon himself to prevent Pillman from influencing the result of Austin’s bout with the Big Boss Man. This did not sit well with Austin, who got his revenge when he jumped Luger before The Total Package’s WWF Title Match with Shawn Michaels, a contest Luger ended up losing. Austin and Luger have been at each other’s throats ever since, with Pillman also responsible for Luger’s Royal Rumble elimination when he used his crutch to pull down the top rope. A win for Austin over former Intercontinental Champion Luger would propel him further up the singles ranks and possibly into title contention, while Luger wants payback for the recent acts perpetrated against him by Austin and Pillman so that he may move on and refocus on claiming some gold of his own. Before we get to In Your House, we'll be back with Superstars this weekend where Raven will be in action as he warms up for Savio Vega on Sunday. Also, Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw battles Bob Holly, Bam Bam Bigelow squares off with Jean-Pierre Lafitte, Great Muta challenges TITAN and we'll bring you the final part of the revealing Jake Roberts interview before he meets Tatanka. It's a loaded show, and one you will not want to miss. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars February 17th, 1996 Convention Center, San Jose, CA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Mr. Perfect.Raven sat in the corner with the mic before his match and cut a promo. He said that his Flock has beaten Savio Vega week after week and still Vega comes back for more. Any normal person would know when enough's enough, but Raven claimed that Vega is clearly a masochist and must have serious mental problems. Raven said that it is now time to finish Vega off and it will be done this Sunday at In Your House. Raven’s scheduled opponent – Barry Horowitz – then surprised Raven by taking the mic and revealing that he will not be wrestling Raven tonight. Instead, Raven will compete against Horowitz's replacement...Savio Vega!!! The tables have been turned on the Poet of the Macabre! The crowd popped as Vega emerged from the back armed with a steel chair. The Flock tried to cut him off in the aisle but Vega took each follower out with a well-placed chair shot! The chair-wielding Raven then chased Raven through the crowd. In the final part of Jake Roberts' sit-down interview with Jim Ross, Roberts, responding to Ross’ question concerning his goals in the WWF, replied that he wants to glorify what God has done in his life, and if titles come, the titles are God's choice, not his. All Roberts can do is worship Him and love Him and try to reach and try to touch somebody else. Addressing the camera, Roberts stated that if God can save Jake "The Snake" Roberts, he can do a lot for each and every one of the people watching. Jim Ross concluded the revealing interview by saying that you have to respect Jake Roberts and his courage to get up in front of people and share his story. And obviously he did that in the hope of helping other people who may be experiencing the same problems. Our hats are off to Jake "The Snake" Roberts. The sentiment was echoed by Vince McMahon, who said that Jake was definitely getting help from the best place you can. Roberts is in action later against Native American Tatanka. Jean-Pierre Lafitte and Bam Bam Bigelow battled to a double countout in 0:10:52 . Rating: *** 1/4Bam Bam Bigelow cut Jean-Pierre Lafitte off on the top turnbuckle and punched him, causing Lafitte to crotch himself. Bigelow then took the pirate down with a superplex but Lafitte kicked out at two, just one count away from his first loss. Lafitte threw Bigelow to the outside and then went upstairs, but Bigelow buried a fist into Lafitte’s abdomen on the way down. Lafitte blocked a shot into the steps and it was Bigelow who tasted the steel. The Beast from the East then reversed a whip into the steel steps and the back of Lafitte's head struck the steps with tremendous velocity. Bigelow rolled back into the ring but it was too late – both men had been counted out. Bam Bam Bigelow argued with the official, enabling Jean-Pierre Lafitte to attack with a clothesline to the back of the head. Lafitte stomped Bigelow down to the canvas and tossed him to the outside again. Lafitte continued to go after him, but Bigelow elevated Lafitte with a backdrop in the aisle! Bigelow challenged Lafitte to get back in the ring and fight, but officials and road agents swarmed the scene to prevent any further physicality. Backstage, Savio Vega cut a heated promo on Raven ahead of their match at In Your House. Vega claimed that the bullying Raven endured in his youth was essentially child’s play and said he will show Raven what abuse and victimisation is all about this Sunday. Justin Bradshaw pinned Bob Holly with the Lariat in 0:07:32. Rating: ** 1/2Tatanka cut a passionate promo on Jake "The Snake" Roberts. He described Roberts as a pathetic alcoholic, who reminded him of the sickening foundational stereotype of the drunken Indian, hopped up on the White Man’s firewater. Tatanka claimed that addiction is a weakness, not a disease. Tatanka said that people get addicted because they don’t have the backbone to fight through tough times. And Jake Roberts will not have the backbone to defeat Tatanka tonight. TITAN defeated Great Muta by disqualification in 0:02:41. Rating: * 1/2Great Muta’s chops and strikes had no effect on TITAN, the giant barely flinching with each blow. TITAN brushed off Muta’s dropkicks and goozled him, but Muta spewed the green mist in TITAN’s face for the DQ. Muta rolled out of the ring while the blinded giant erupted with rage. TITAN was grabbing for Muta, but instead took hold of the referee by the throat and blasted him with a choke slam. Harvey Wippleman entered the ring to quell the situation, but TITAN lifted him up for a choke slam as well! The fans were desperate to see Harv get smashed, but the screams from his manager helped TITAN realise who he had in his clutches and he carefully set Wippleman back down. Jake Roberts pinned Tatanka with the DDT in 0:06:16. Rating: ** 1/4Jake Roberts hit a short-arm clothesline but when he went for an early DDT, Tatanka bailed. Tatanka took over and pounded away with chops and punches. Tatanka dropped an elbowdrop for a near fall, but he missed a second and Roberts made a brief comeback. A blind charge from Roberts ate boot and Tatanka went for the End of the Trail, but Roberts slid off of Tatanka's shoulders and hit the DDT for the pin in just over six minutes. After the match Jake Roberts dumped his new snake Revelations on Tatanka, much to the joy of the crowd. Vince McMahon closed the show by plugging the card for In Your House, but Mr. Perfect interrupted so that a video of highlights from Perfect’s career could play in order to hype his return to the ring next week. Perfect announced that he will be facing one of the men responsible for putting him out of action, Savio Vega. Perfect asked Raven to leave some of Vega for him next weekend. Perfect cheekily wondered if McMahon will be able to cope on commentary without him. Vince rolled his eyes as the show went off air. Circuit information: Tatanka has quit the company, effective immediately. We wish him the very best in his future endeavours. In Your House is live on pay-per-view tomorrow night from the Louisville Gardens in Louisville, Kentucky. Let's preview the final card: Steel Cage Match Crush vs Scott SteinerThe animosity between Crush and Scott Steiner is well documented and the final chapter in this feud will be written when they meet in a Steel Cage Match this Sunday. Any issues between Storm and Owen appear to be behind them now as this trio worked together to curtail the interference from the Gentleman’s Club in last Monday’s street fight which saw Owen defeat Regal.

IN YOUR HOUSE 6: Rage In The Cage February 18th, 1996 Louisville Gardens, Louisville, KY Your commentators are Jim Ross and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.Free For All "The Total Package" Lex Luger vs "Stunning" Steve AustinBefore the match began, the Big Boss Man made his way down to ringside and handcuffed Brian Pillman to the ring post to prevent him interfering! The crowd expressed their delight at this turn of events, while Pillman and Steve Austin complained to the official about how unfair it all was. Steve Austin and Lex Luger took it to each other in a heated battle while at ringside, the ‘neutered’ Pillman moaned that the handcuffs were too tight on his wrist. Pillman even climbed on the apron and tried to leverage the handcuff off. When the match spilled to the outside, Luger couldn’t resist taking a shot at the shackled Pillman which earned a pop from the crowd. Austin avoided the Rebel Rack by going to the eyes. The finish came when Luger went for an O’Connor roll out of the corner, but Austin held on to the turnbuckle to stop himself going down. Luger used his strength to take Austin over and Austin ended up pulling the turnbuckle pad off! Austin kicked out of the roll-up and propelled Luger into the unprotected buckle! Austin then caught Luger coming out with the Stunner for the win. [Free For All]: Steve Austin pinned Lex Luger with the Stunner in 0:08:59. Rating: *** 1/4After the match, Steve Austin took the mic and cut a promo expressing his disgust at being bumped from the pay-per-view to the pre-show. Austin called it the greatest injustice in the history of wrestling. Austin said that he, the Superstar of the Nineties, should be on the main show, every show, competing for titles. Austin stormed to the back leaving Pillman still cuffed to the ring post. Pillman called after his partner forlornly but Austin was out of sight. The camera quickly cut backstage to an altercation in progress between TITAN and the Great Muta. TITAN lifted Muta up and drove him through the fire escape into the parking lot. TITAN then choke slammed Muta onto the hood of a car! Security quickly intervened to restore order, but it was clear Muta was hurt. TITAN was still seething at the mist attack this past week on Superstars and had chosen tonight to exact some revenge. As the Free For All drew to a close, Jim Ross said that this was an example of the kind of chaos that our new Commissioner, who will be revealed tomorrow night on RAW, will clamp down on. "The Rocket" Owen Hart and The Thrillseekers vs Lord Steven Regal, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and British BulldogThe Canadian trio were dominating this all-action affair until the British Bulldog cut off Lance Storm with a vicious clothesline. The Gentleman’s Club zeroed in on Storm’s previously injured left knee but after a miscue on the part of the Tag Team Champions Storm managed to tag in Chris Jericho. Bobby Heenan noted that Storm dragged himself just that little bit further to tag Jericho instead of Owen Hart, who was closer to him. Jim Ross accused Heenan of trying to stir up trouble. Jericho ran wild, knocking Bulldog off the apron with a springboard dropkick and scoring a near fall on Hunter Hearst Helmsley with an Asai moonsault. Jericho tagged out to Owen and the match quickly broke down into a six man donnybrook. Amidst the melee, Owen accidentally knocked Storm to the outside with an errant spinning heel kick. Bulldog applied the Bulldog Bite on Owen and Storm went to make the save, but once Storm realised it was Owen in trouble he hesitated and began favouring his knee. Jericho broke the Bite with a kick to the head before checking on Storm. Regal jumped Jericho and laid him out with a double underhook suplex. Regal then went for a dropkick on Owen, but Owen caught him and applied the Sharpshooter! Helmsley climbed to the top rope with the cricket bat and lined up an attack on the unsuspecting Rocket, but Jericho recovered to crotch Helmsley! Bulldog clotheslined Owen from behind, but then Jericho floored Bulldog with a spinning heel kick and accepted the tag from Owen. Jericho quickly ascended the turnbuckles and drilled Helmsley with a Frankensteiner for the three count! The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) and Owen Hart defeated Gentleman's Club (British Bulldog, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Lord Steven Regal) when Jericho pinned Helmsley after a top-rope Frankensteiner in 0:12:31. Rating: *** 1/4 [Lord Alfred Hayes interfered against Chris Jericho.]After the match, Lance Storm did not really join in with the celebrations and instead made a show of reaching for his injured knee. Raven, who was introduced from The Bowery, left the rest of the Flock at ringside and sat in the corner. It was noted that there were two new additions to the Flock. These men both had shaved heads and numerous tattoos and piercings. Their faces were painted and they were dressed in shredded rock T-shirts and combat boots. Raven took the mic and said that as per the terms of his contract, this match will be fought under his terms: Raven’s Rules, which means no disqualification! Raven vs Savio VegaThis was the first time we had seen the Raven character in action and he dropkicked Savio Vega as the Caribbean superstar tried to enter the ring. Raven threw Vega into the guardrail and steel steps, before returning to the ring and hitting two snap mares in succession. Raven went for a third but Vega countered with a backslide for a near fall. Vega viciously chopped Raven, taking a month’s worth of built-up frustration out on the Poet of the Macabre. Vega used an inverted atomic drop and whipped Raven hard into the corner. Vega tried to follow in with a spinning heel kick but Rad Radford pulled his mentor out of the way. Vega crashed hard at ringside and Raven leapt over the top rope on top of him. Raven laid Vega across the ring and dropped the point of his elbow into the Caribbean superstar’s throat. Raven used an elbowdrop off the ring apron and tossed Vega back in. After slamming Savio Vega’s head repeatedly into the mat, Raven called for a chair and Man Mountain Rock slid one in for Raven to use. Raven cracked the chair across Vega’s back, then set the chair up and planted Vega face-first onto the steel with a drop toe hold. Raven used a bulldog onto the open chair for a near fall. Raven wedged the chair in between the turnbuckles, but Vega reversed the whip into the steel! Vega unloaded with punches and chops and then floored Raven with a clothesline. Vega drilled Raven with a side suplex onto the chair but before he could make the cover, The Birdman jumped onto the apron. Vega punched him down, then flattened Rad Radford, Man Mountain Rock and the two newest Flock members with chair shots when they tried to run in. Vega then turned his attention back to Raven, but Raven dropkicked the chair back into Vega’s face and struck with the DDT to secure the win. [Raven's Rules]: No-DQ-Match: Raven pinned Savio Vega with the Evenflow DDT in 0:08:15. Rating: *** 1/2Todd Pettengill interviewed Mr. Perfect backstage ahead of his return to the ring next weekend on Superstars. Savio Vega, who will be Perfect’s opponent next Saturday, walked by rubbing the side of the head. Perfect mocked Vega’s performance against Raven and told him to get used to staring at the lights, because the same thing is going to happen when he puts him in the Perfect Plex next weekend. Vega was in no mood for Perfect’s wisecracks and shoved him, kicking off a brawl between the two. Sean Waltman, who was preparing for the next match, interjected to help out his friend Savio and take Perfect down. Interim president Dean Douglas then arrived to break up the fight, but in doing so Douglas made the most of a flailing elbow from Waltman which barely grazed him. Douglas felt that this gave him enough justification to go after Waltman, but Mr. Perfect held him back. Perfect may have just saved Douglas’ job. WWF Intercontinental Championship Sean Waltman vs Ludvig BorgaLudvig Borga was determined to reclaim his Intercontinental Championship as quickly as possible and did not waste any time in displaying his superior power, shoving Sean Waltman down on two occasions. Waltman came back with a Victory roll for a near fall. Waltman went for a kick but Borga caught the boot and then floored him with a right cross. Gary Hart applauded Borga’s impeccable timing on the punch, while Jim Ross feared that Waltman had been knocked out. The woozy Waltman went for a cross body but Borga caught him and hit a bodyslam. Waltman did connect with a baseball slide but then missed a sledge off the ring apron, meeting the steel guardrail instead. Borga intelligently worked over Waltman’s injured midsection, hammering away with rights and lefts in the corner. Borga struck the cornered Waltman with hard kneelifts up into the rib cage. A diving clothesline earned the challenger a near fall. Borga used a big splash in the corner, but an attempt at a second was wide of the mark and Waltman hit a leg lariat. Mr. Perfect then wandered out to ringside for a closer look at the action. Jim Ross attempted to speculate what Perfect was doing out here, while Bobby Heenan said that Perfect is unpredictable so there’s no point guessing what he will do next. Waltman connected with three quick-fire legdrops, then climbed up top looking for a moonsault. As Gary Hart grabbed a word with the official, Perfect threw his towel in Waltman’s face, distracting him. Borga struck with a kidney punch, crotching Waltman, then took him down hard with a reverse superplex. However, Waltman kicked out and saved his title to the joy of the crowd! Borga looked for a flapjack, but Waltman countered in mid-air into a dropkick which sent the Hellraiser from Helsinki to the outside. Waltman went for a moonsault, but Borga caught him and planted Waltman with a powerslam on the floor! The thud of Waltman’s body connecting with the ringside mats was sickening. Perfect had a quick word with Gary Hart and then took the referee’s attention, while Hart told Borga to get back in the ring. Dean Douglas then ran down and looked down at Waltman with disgust. Douglas pulled the steel steps away from the ring and then blasted Waltman with a gourdbuster onto the steps! Douglas tossed Waltman back in, where Borga knelt down and pinned him with one finger to become a two-time Intercontinental Champion. Ludvig Borga defeated Sean Waltman via pinfall in 0:12:10. Rating: *** 3/4 (Ludvig Borga won the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Mr. Perfect and Dean Douglas interfered against Sean Waltman.]What a travesty! Sean Waltman was completely robbed here. It was four-on-one! Jeff Jarrett vs Jesse JamesJeff Jarrett attacked Jesse James from behind, ultra-aggressive at the outset which showed how much this very personal issue has got to him. Jarrett slid under a backdrop attempt from James and hit a dropkick to the face. Outside the ring, Jarrett lifted James up for an atomic drop and drove James’ groin into the ring post! Jarrett was happy to take the count-out victory, but James rolled back in at nine. A big boot to the face foiled a charge into the corner from Jarrett and James followed up with a tornado DDT for a near fall. Jarrett was able to apply the figure-four leglock but there was just too much at stake here and with the crowd rallying behind him, James managed to turn over and reverse the pressure. Jarrett turned it back over and earned a succession of near falls when James’ shoulders were on the mat. James made the ropes and when Jarrett tried to lock the submission hold on again, James kicked him into the turnbuckles. James hit a back suplex and both men were down. Jarrett went for a flying cross body, but James rolled through and hooked the leg for an exceptionally close near fall. Jarrett was reeling here. Sensing her meal ticket was in trouble, Wynonna slid the guitar to Jarrett but the official intercepted. While the referee was disposing of the foreign object, Jarrett slid out of the pumphandle slam and hit James with a low mule kick. Jarrett then hit a legsweep faceslam to down his former roadie. Jeff Jarrett pinned Jesse James after a legsweep faceslam in 0:10:06. Rating: ** 3/4After the decision, Wynonna made a point of instructing Howard Finkel to announce the winner as “The One and Only Double J”, Jeff Jarrett. Before the next match WWF Champion Shawn Michaels cut a promo in which he claimed that he answers to no man, he follows no rules and he comes and goes as he pleases. Michaels said that when Diesel destroys Razor Ramon and sends him back down into the gutter, there will be no challenger for his title at WrestleMania. Therefore, Michaels said that he'll have the night off at 'Mania and he planned to go out on his boat on his lake in Texas instead. Razor Ramon puts his WWF Title shot at WrestleMania XII on the line Razor Ramon vs DieselRazor Ramon flicked his toothpick at Shawn Michaels who was stationed at ringside before opening up by punching Diesel all over the ring. Diesel responded with a hard kneelift and elbowsmashes, before targeting Ramon’s back with forearms. Diesel had softened up Ramon’s back already with three Jackknife power bombs on the Brother Love Show and he continued to go after the spine of the Bad Guy here. Diesel shoved Ramon into the ropes and when The Bad Guy staggered backward, Diesel slammed his forearm into the lower back. Big Daddy Cool tried it again but Ramon rocked him with a hard right hand. Diesel stopped Ramon’s momentum with a short clothesline and then choked him with his boot in the corner while Michaels sneakily tugged on Ramon’s hair. Diesel used a sleeper to wear Ramon down, but Ramon broke the hold with a back suplex. Diesel threw Ramon over the top rope and Michaels did a flying clothesline off the ring steps onto Ramon on the floor. Back inside, Diesel used a side slam for a near fall. Shawn Michaels choked Razor Ramon over the middle rope and held him there for Diesel to drop down across Razor’s back. Diesel further punished Ramon by dropping a big elbow to the small of the back. Diesel hit the Snake Eyes and then locked on a long abdominal stretch, using the ropes for leverage. Ramon reversed into a stretch of his own but Diesel powered out with a hiptoss. After absorbing tremendous punishment for most of the bout Ramon finally made a comeback, sliding under Diesel in the corner and crotching Big Daddy Cool on the post. With Diesel in tremendous pain, Ramon followed up with a bulldog off the top for a near fall. Ramon bodyslammed Diesel, then decked Michaels who had climbed onto the apron. Diesel blocked a belly-to-back superplex with an elbow to the face and called for the Jackknife, but Ramon backdropped out of it. After Michaels distracted Ramon, Diesel used a flying shoulderblock. Both men were struggling to get back to their feet, at which point Michaels took his WWF Championship belt and tried to use it on Ramon. The referee grabbed the belt before Michaels could drill Ramon with it and as the official gave the belt to the timekeeper, Diesel held Ramon for Michaels to deliver the superkick. However, Ramon ducked and it was Diesel who got a taste of Sweet Chin Music! The crowd exploded as Ramon covered for the three count! Razor Ramon defeated Diesel via pinfall in 0:15:09. Rating: *** 1/4 [Shawn Michaels interfered against Razor Ramon.]Shawn Michaels was visibly angry afterwards, perhaps more at his own mistake than the outcome of the match. He swiped his championship belt and clocked Razor Ramon in the back of the head with it after the Bad Guy had barely returned to his feet. Michaels then found a ladder under the ring and dragged it inside. The Heartbreak Kid told Diesel to get back up and prop the ladder up in the corner. Michaels threw Ramon into the ladder and The Bad Guy ended up bleeding from the mouth. Michaels drove the ladder into Ramon’s gut, then dropped it across his back. Michaels opened the ladder and set it up so that Ramon was lying underneath it - bad luck for the Bad Guy. The Heartbreak Kid stomped Ramon in the head and then left to boos and jeers. Diesel walked a few paces behind Michaels, rubbing his jaw and glaring at the WWF Champion. Backstage, Dok Hendrix interviewed Scott Steiner, who was in confident mood. Steiner predicted that Bret Hart would take the sensible option and announce his retirement tomorrow night on RAW. Steiner then addressed Crush, stating that they will both walk into that cage tonight but only one man will walk out, and it will not be Crush. Steiner vowed to string up Crush by his coconut bra and said that mango-sucking idiot will join the Hitman in the retirement home. Tammy Fytch seemed unconcerned by the stipulation where she will be locked in her own cage during tonight’s main event, simply stating that they have this match “under lock and key”. Hendrix was left more perplexed than usual by that odd comment from Fytch. Speaking of odd… Goldust! In the first vignette introducing the latest addition to the WWF roster, the bizarre Goldust hinted at a future feud with Razor Ramon. While the ring crew busily constructed the cage for the main event, Crush gave his thoughts on his match with Scott Steiner. Crush told Todd Pettengill that the whole locker room wants Crush to make Steiner suffer for what he did to Rockin’ Robin. Crush promised not to let them down. The big Hawaiian also took great delight in the fact that the conniving Tammy Fytch will be locked up during the bout, paraphrasing the Smashing Pumpkins when he said despite all her rage, she's still just a rat in a cage… BOOM! Scott Steiner floored Crush out of nowhere with a forearm to the back of the head! Todd Pettengill dropped his microphone and scarpered, while Steiner took the cord and choked Crush with it. Crush fought back and slammed Steiner into a wall. The two superstars brawled through the backstage area, with Steiner wheeling a large equipment box into Crush after Tammy Fytch distracted him. The fight spilled out to the In Your House set at the entrance way as the fans cheered them on! Steiner tossed one of the flower pots from the house set at Crush while Fytch ducked for cover. Referees and road agents attempted to separate both men, but bodies were sent flying if they got too close. The ring crew were still in the process of constructing the steel cage as Crush and Scott Steiner arrived at ringside. Steiner raided a tool box for a large wrench and took a swing at Crush, but missed and struck the side of the cage. Steiner then pulled one of the ring crew off the bars and launched him at Crush! Things had already got completely out of hand and the match had not yet officially begun! Eventually, Crush threw Steiner into the ring as the finishing touches were being applied to the blue barred structure. Meanwhile, Tammy Fytch was refusing to get in to the smaller shark cage outside the ring which was supposed to house her for the duration of the match. Fytch had her arms around the official, flirting with him instead. Just then, Rockin’ Robin made her way down through the crowd! The fans were going crazy as Robin grabbed Fytch by the hair and threw her into the cage! Robin slammed the door shut on Fytch and then waved as the shark cage was hoisted up into the air! Fytch was going to get a bird's eye view of the action! Fytch was frantic with rage, screaming and shaking the bars, demanding to be freed! The atmosphere in the arena was electric! Steel Cage Match Crush vs Scott SteinerCrush threw Scott Steiner in through the door, but Steiner immediately put the boots to Crush as he followed him in. The referee quickly padlocked the door and this bout was finally officially underway. Steiner bounced off the ropes and was caught with a huge backbreaker to a massive pop. Crush pie-faced Steiner repeatedly in the corner, talking trash, before striking with several shoulderblocks to the midsection. Crush missed a charge into the opposite corner and Steiner stunned him with a headsmash into the turnbuckle, before taking Crush out with a rolling belly-to-belly suplex which was flawlessly executed. Crush fought back to his feet while Steiner incited the crowd, so the Superstar dropped him with a powerful Steinerline. Steiner rammed Crush head-first into the blue bars, then dropped an elbow. Steiner decided to do some push-ups while Fytch applauded and cheered. Steiner began climbing and despite Fytch yelling at Steiner to watch out, Crush pulled him off the bars and onto his shoulders before delivering the Hawaiian Smasher! Crush then walked over to the door and demanded that the official unlock it, but the referee’s key was not working! What is going on?! Inside the shark cage, Tammy Fytch was shown producing another lock from her blouse! She had switched locks with the referee when she was flirting with him before the match!! Now her cryptic “lock and key” comment made sense! There was now only one means of escape – over the top of the cage. Steiner attacked with a clothesline to the back of the head and then hit a double underhook suplex. Crush grabbed Steiner’s leg as he almost made it over and the two men began slugging it out at the top of the cage. They dropped down to the top rope, where Crush slammed Steiner down to the canvas. Crush then hit a diving clothesline off the top. Crush dropped Steiner with a superkick and followed up with a legdrop. Crush started to climb out, but Steiner struck with a blatant low blow to a very negative reaction. Steiner took Crush down with an avalanche Samoan drop and then gave Crush a taste of the Steiner Recliner. Steiner had the momentum and he signalled to Fytch who threw down a key, the very key that would open the lock on the cage door which she switched earlier! Steiner reached out and unlocked the door, but before he could step out Crush recovered and waistlocked him down to the mat! With the door shut and locked again, Crush took the key and threw it out into the crowd! Crush was fired up and Steiner’s blows had no effect! Crush blocked a shot into the cage and rammed Steiner’s head into the bars. Crush ran Steiner into the other three sides, then pressed Steiner over his head and threw him into the cage wall! Crush lifted Steiner up onto his shoulders, ran him into the cage once again, and then executed the Hawaiian Smasher. With Steiner laid out in the middle of the ring, Crush was free to clamber up and over the cage to the floor to emerge victorious from this brutal battle. Cage Match: Crush defeated Scott Steiner by escaping the cage in 0:14:05. Rating: *** 1/4 [Tammy Fytch interfered against Crush.]
Card rating: ** 3/4Match observations: Crush vanquished Scott Steiner in their final steel cage showdown tonight, despite the shenanigans Tammy Fytch tried to pull with different keys and locks. The result was a very popular one within the dressing room, with the majority of superstars delighted to see Steiner get his comeuppance for his recent indiscretions. It was great to see Rockin’ Robin back as well. Robin returned to force Fytch into a shark cage, where a livid Fytch remained trapped and suspended above the ring! It was a major win for Crush, but there will be no time to rest on his laurels as the big Hawaiian is scheduled to take on old rival Lex Luger tomorrow night on RAW. Meanwhile, the pain of defeat for Scott Steiner will be eased somewhat if tomorrow night on RAW Bret Hart announces his retirement due to injuries suffered at the hands of Steiner back in November. Steiner would love nothing more than to take credit for ending the glittering career of the Excellence of Execution. Razor Ramon’s WrestleMania main event spot remains intact after The Bad Guy defeated Diesel. And for the second time in three months, Diesel was on the receiving end of a superkick from Shawn Michaels as the Heartbreak Kid’s botched interference lead to Ramon’s victory. Ramon survived this tough test and was continuing to build momentum heading into WrestleMania until he was jumped afterwards by Shawn Michaels, who dished out a vicious beating. The Heartbreak Kid is determined to have the night off at WrestleMania and when he couldn’t rob top contender Ramon of his upcoming title shot after goading him to put it on the line tonight, Michaels attempted to remove Ramon from the title picture with a physical assault. We'll see what the new Commissioner makes of such behaviour when we learn the identity of this new authority figure tomorrow night on RAW. Ludvig Borga recaptured the Intercontinental Championship tonight, ending Sean Waltman’s reign at just under two weeks. But Borga did not work alone as both Mr. Perfect and Dean Douglas interjected themselves into proceedings. With Waltman allies Savio Vega nursing his injuries from his bout with Raven and Great Muta taken out by TITAN before the show, the Champion succumbed to the numbers game. There will be consequences for interim President Dean Douglas, who was warned in no uncertain terms by Gorilla Monsoon not to place his hands on WWF superstars. Jeff Jarrett ensured that he will not have to pay Jesse James a dime in royalties and can also continue to use the Double J moniker with defeat of his former roadie tonight. Aware that James knew his ring style better than anybody, Jarrett developed a new hold to lead him to victory. Make no mistake about it, Jarrett is a very intelligent man. Raven’s Flock has swollen in numbers and that was never going to be good news for Savio Vega. The Flock took advantage of the no-disqualification stipulation to interfere freely in Raven’s match with Vega but just as the Caribbean superstar looked to be overcoming the odds, Raven capitalised on a moment’s hesitation and captured the win. Despite some friction between Lance Storm and Owen Hart, The Thrillseekers and The Rocket were victorious against the Gentleman’s Club in the opening six man tag team match. The Thrillseekers want their belts back and their case for a rematch has been given a boost after Chris Jericho pinned Hunter Hearst Helmsley. “Stunning” Steve Austin’s ascent up the singles ladder shows no sign of stopping soon after Austin defeated Lex Luger on the Free For All. This must be considered Austin’s biggest win to date and after the match he demanded to be included on all pay-per-views going forward. Austin will not be held down. Many thanks for joining us tonight for In Your House! Be sure to tune in tomorrow night for what promises to be a very newsworthy edition of Monday Night RAW as the new WWF Commissioner will be revealed, plus Bret Hart will make his much-awaited announcement live via satellite from his home in Calgary. Plus, Crush will battle his old adversary Lex Luger! Till then, so long everybody!!

Monday Night RAW February 19th, 1996 Cincinatti Gardens, Cincinatti, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
After a recap of the events from last night's In Your House pay-per-view, Vince McMahon opened the show standing in the ring preparing to make an announcement when out came WWF Champion Shawn Michaels and Diesel to steal his thunder. Michaels was revelling in the negative reaction he was getting. McMahon asked Michaels what brings him out here and The Heartbreak Kid responded that it seems to be a night of big announcements. What will Bret Hart’s announcement be? Who cares. Who will be the new Commissioner? Nobody important. Well, Michaels had an announcement of his own. You see, last night Diesel may have failed to get the job done against Razor Ramon, but luckily Shawn Michaels took matters into his own hands. Diesel didn't seem to appreciate the shot that Michaels just took at him. Michaels said that he beat up Razor Ramon for what must be the hundredth time now, leaving him a battered and bloody mess. Michaels said that he had proven once again that he is the better man and therefore he was announcing that there will be no WWF Championship Match at WrestleMania this year.
Vince couldn’t believe what he was hearing, but Michaels continued that there are no worthy challengers out there so it is not worth his time to put the title on the line. He has beaten everybody. Michaels said that he was going on an extended holiday and the company could call him when somebody is ready to step up. The Heartbreak Kid then made to leave.
Hold on there champ. Vince suggested that Shawn Michaels could discuss these plans in person with the new Commissioner, none other than former WWF Champion Sgt Slaughter! Slaughter was given a nice ovation as he marched down to the ring, while Michaels looked amused. Slaughter got a pop when he told Michaels that he is the new sheriff in town! Slaughter informed Michaels that he had spoken to Razor Ramon and confirmed that The Bad Guy will be fit to compete in the main event of WrestleMania. Therefore, despite Michaels’ best laid plans, there will be a WWF Championship Match at WrestleMania. However, Shawn Michaels may not be in it, because next week on RAW he will defend the title...against Sabu!
The crowd were happy with that announcement of what is certainly a dream match for wrestling fans, but Shawn Michaels said that he would take this up with Dean Douglas. The Heartbreak Kid wanted to discuss things with the Prez, instead of a stooge like Slaughter. Slaughter said that might be difficult, because Douglas has been temporarily suspended of his duties following his actions at In Your House. In the meantime, Slaughter is in charge, he’s the law and order around here, and he makes the decisions. Decisions such as in next week’s match between Michaels and Sabu, managers – and bodyguards (looking right at Diesel) – will be barred from ringside! Slaughter said that next week we will see if Shawn Michaels really is the showstopper and the main event, or if he needs help to get the job done. Was that a hint of a smirk from Diesel? Slaughter left an irate Michaels arguing with Vince McMahon, who was insisting he had nothing to do with this.
Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Scott D'Amore with the Diving Headbutt in 0:02:50. Rating: * 3/4 (Jake Roberts no-showed.)
Backstage, Commissioner Slaughter had further announcements to make. After Chris Jericho scored the winning pinfall in last night's six man tag team match, he said that Jericho had earned himself a shot at the Tag Team Titles next week on RAW. However, he was leaving it up to Jericho to select his partner for the bout. Also, after Crush's victory in the Steel Cage Match last night - which was just the latest in an impressive run of wins for the big Hawaiian - Slaughter was giving Crush a shot at the Intercontinental Championship against old rival Ludvig Borga at WrestleMania.
British Bulldog defeated Big Boss Man when Big Boss Man passed out in the Bulldog Bite in 0:10:22. Rating: ** 1/4 [Lord Alfred Hayes interfered against Big Boss Man.]
During the match, Lord Alfred Hayes joined the commentary table and assumed his Gentleman's Club would be defending their Tag Team Titles against The Thrillseekers next week, but he wasn't worried about it. Hayes said that Chris Jericho's victory last night was meaningless and next Monday, when the gold is on the line, it will be a different story.
Todd Pettengill interviewed Scott Steiner backstage. Steiner shrugged off his loss to Crush the previous night at In Your House and chose rather to focus on the impending announcement from Bret Hart instead. Steiner asked who will ever remember that result when after tonight he goes down in history as the man who forced the legendary Bret Hart into early retirement?
Crush pinned Lex Luger after the Hawaiian Smasher in 0:14:07. Rating: ***
Lex Luger stepped through the ropes to break Crush's Cranium Crunch, then as the referee instructed Crush to release the hold Luger struck with an elbow which drew some jeers. Crush avoided defeat when he draped his foot on the bottom rope following Luger's diving elbowsmash. The Torture Package managed to place Crush in his dreaded Rebel Rack, but Crush broke the hold and then drilled Luger with the Hawaiian Smasher for the 1-2-3.
After the match Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga, along with Gary Hart, appeared at the entrance way in an attempt to psyche out Borga's opponent at WrestleMania, Crush. Meanwhile, Luger and Crush shook hands, the old adversaries finally putting their rivalry to bed. The Total Package pointed at Borga and then told Crush to bring home the gold at WrestleMania. Luger then walked out of the ring and as it transpired, out of the company.
Footage was shown of the incident from last November where Scott Steiner blasted Bret Hart with the SSD directly onto the base of the steel steps. The scene then cut to satellite feed into Bret Hart’s living room where we saw The Hitman for the very first time since the Steiner attack. Hart was wearing a heavy neck brace and eased himself very gingerly into a chair in preparation for the interview. Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan both agreed that it did not look good. Meanwhile, a beaming Scott Steiner was watching proceedings on a backstage monitor.
Commercial break: A commercial aired for the latest "Superstar" Scott Steiner T-shirt, which is emblazoned with an image of Steiner hitting Bret Hart with the SSD on the steel steps. Just $20 (plus $5.95 shipping), all proceeds go to the Bret Hart retirement fund.
This product commercial had obviously been paid for by Fytch Wrestling Enterprises so that it was inserted at this point in the show. Is there no depth to which they will not stoop?
The show returned from commercial with the Bret Hart satellite interview. The Hitman explained that he had damaged several vertebrae last November and in the following weeks he had suffered from spinal shock syndrome. There had been some rough times in intensive care. After months of rest and recuperation, Hart had only recently managed to walk around unaided again. Vince asked how Bret’s rehab was going now and how he was feeling. Hart said that rehab was going well, but it was going slow. Hart said that lately he had been asking himself some big questions. Was it all worth it? Should he just forget it and give up? Hart said he has nothing left to prove. The Hitman’s voice began to crack as thanked the fans for keeping in touch with him and said he loves them. He took a deep breath said that this is the hardest thing he's ever had to do…
Bret Hart’s tone changed when he said that he realised that giving up is not an option. Big crowd pop! An angry Hitman said that every morning he wakes up and remembers what Scott Steiner did to him. Every time he switches on the WWF on TV, he hears Scott Steiner bragging about how he’s the guy that put Bret Hart out of the business. Like he feels a sense of accomplishment. And in a weird way Bret understands why Scott Steiner went after him, because he knows that he is a target for young and hungry guys trying to make a name for themselves. But Steiner went too far. The act he perpetrated was deliberate and it was low. He tried to take away Bret's livelihood. And then, Steiner targeted Bret's friends and family and tried to rub what he'd done in their faces. He was proud of it. He had made things personal, he had crossed the line. Steiner even went as far to print up a bunch of stupid T-shirts to mark the occasion, which Bret Hart then revealed that Steiner had sent out to Bret's friends and family. The Hitman said that his kids had been in tears because of that stunt. Hart talked about how Steiner went after his parents in their own home and to this day his mother Helen is still terrified to answer the front door. Now shaking with anger, Bret said that they all want him to rip Steiner's head off. Well, Bret Hart is not going to allow his friends and family to be trampled over by a scumbag like Scott Steiner. He will not let them down, and he also vowed not to let the fans down for all of the love and support they have shown him. Bret said it was down to them that he was ahead of schedule in his recovery – so far in fact…
…Bret Hart then stood up and ripped off his neck brace…
…that he doesn’t need this!! The crowd, watching on the big screen in the arena, were on their feet as well! Growing ever more intense, Bret said that he will not let Steiner to take credit for ending his career. The Hitman said that he will soon be 100% and when that day arrives, he is coming to hunt Steiner down and kick the sh*t out of him! Hart looked into the camera and warned Steiner that he is a marked man!
Vince McMahon was delighted by the news that Bret Hart will be returning soon. Conversely, the volatile Scott Steiner completely lost it backstage, smashing the place up and pushing over lockers. Commissioner Slaughter was soon on the scene and ordered Steiner to leave the building.
Chris Jericho was standing by backstage with Lance Storm and Owen Hart. With time running out, Vince McMahon asked Jericho who he was going to team with next week to challenge the Gentleman's Club for the gold. Jericho admitted that it hadn't been an easy choice. He said that Lance Storm is his best friend and nothing would ever change that, but Storm is just coming back off a bad knee injury and Owen Hart has been a big support to him over the past month or so, therefore he was choosing The Rocket to be his partner. Storm was shocked, muttering that this was a joke before walking off.
Circuit information: It has been a bad 24 hours for Scott Steiner. Despite defeat to Crush last night at In Your House in their blowoff cage match, Steiner was fully expecting Bret Hart to announce on tonight's show that he was retiring due to injuries suffered at the hands of Steiner back in November. Steiner touts himself as the future of professional wrestling and was desperate to take credit for retiring a well-respected name in the industry like The Hitman, thus adding to his fearsome reputation. However, in his first public appearance since being injured by Steiner, Bret revealed that he is not hanging up his boots but is instead coming back and he is targeting Steiner for trying to end his career and terrorising his family. Steiner was livid at the news, while WWF fans all over the world cannot wait to see Bret Hart back in action - and get revenge on Steiner.
Commissioner Slaughter threw Steiner out of the building after the red mist descended for the Superstar tonight. Slaughter is the new man in charge after interim President Dean Douglas crossed the line yet again at In Your House. And Slaughter has already laid down the law with WWF Champion Shawn Michaels, forcing The Heartbreak Kid to defend his title next week against Sabu. It doesn’t appear that Michaels and Slaughter see eye-to-eye and Michaels certainly didn’t appreciate Slaughter’s attempt to impose his authority. As for Douglas, he has been told to stay at home this week and we are reliably informed that his status with the company will be clarified next week.
Next week’s edition of the most action-packed wrestling TV show around is being dubbed “Championship RAW” after it was announced that the Tag Team Titles will also be defended on the show. Lord Alfred Hayes’ Gentleman’s Club will be challenged by Chris Jericho, who earned this title shot after scoring the winning fall in the six man tag at In Your House, and…Owen Hart! Jericho was given the freedom to select his partner for the title match and he chose good friend Owen Hart instead of his long-standing regular tag team partner, Lance Storm. Storm already bore some resentment towards The Rocket as he blames Owen for The Thrillseekers losing the belts in the first place, and his nose has been put seriously out of joint by Jericho choosing Owen over him.
Our first official bout for WrestleMania XII is set – Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga, who regained the belt only last night, will defend against Crush. The big Hawaiian has been on quite a roll recently and is undefeated on pay-per-view since June. Crush’s momentum continued this evening as he vanquished old foe Lex Luger in convincing fashion. It was Luger’s last night with the company and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
Uh-oh, Jake Roberts no-showed tonight’s show. However, after recent disclosures about Jake’s past we can allay fears that his failure to appear was down to anything sinister.
This weekend on Superstars, Mr. Perfect makes his big return to the squared circle after being sidelined since July with a biceps injury. Perfect will battle New Generation adversary Savio Vega. In addition to that, PJ Walker, Rockabilly, The Heavenly Bodies and “Double J” Jeff Jarrett are all scheduled for action. Till then, so long everybody!!

WWF Superstars February 24th, 1996 Civic Center, Huntington, WV Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix. The opening match on tonight's edition of Superstars pitted The Birdman against PJ Walker. Before the match, The Birdman took the mic and said that there is no reason for them to wrestle tonight because Walker's career is stuck in a rut, his wheels are spinning and his career is going nowhere. Birdman said that inside of Walker, there was once the potential for a great athlete, but there are also demons. Birdman claimed that Walker was a perfect prospect for The Flock, because they feel his pain. The Birdman revealed that he has been authorised by Raven to invite Walker to come with them, adding that joining the Flock will set him free. Birdman held the ropes open for Walker to leave with him, but PJ responded with the international symbol for "Up Yours". PJ Walker pinned The Birdman with the Walkover in 0:02:43. Rating: * 3/4The vultures from the Flock surrounded the ring after the match. PJ Walker was ready to fight, but Francine convinced him to walk away. Walker glared at Raven before heading for the dressing room. The Flock entered the ring and circled The Birdman while Raven looked on. The Birdman got back to his feet, but was quickly set upon by the other Flock members. The Birdman endured a savage beating before Raven rolled in and planted him with the Evenflow DDT. Rockabilly made his way out for action next and it soon became apparent that his opponent here tonight on Superstars was not your average enhancement talent. Ahmed Johnson stood across from him in the corner, a big, tough, intimidating, 305-pound muscular brickhouse. Rockabilly looked a little concerned as the intense Ahmed stared a hole right through him. Ahmed Johnson pinned Rockabilly with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:01:13. Rating: * 3/4Ahmed Johnson quite clearly had the strength advantage as he backed Rockabilly into the corner after they locked up. Rockabilly slapped away a handshake, then attacked from behind. Rockabilly threw Ahmed into the corner and followed in with a clothesline. No effect! Rockabilly punched him, but Johnson turned and looked straight at him. Rockabilly had made Johnson angry! Ahmed Johnson countered a whip by almost taking Rockabilly's head off with a clothesline. Johnson drilled Rockabilly with a huge spinebuster, then won the match with a tiger driver! Wow! The crowd gave Ahmed Johnson a standing ovation; a new superstar may very well have been created here this evening. Meanwhile, Rockabilly was completely shellshocked after being defeated in such quick and decisive fashion. Tennessee Lee was humiliated by the performance. He browbeat Rockabilly for the embarrassing loss, all the while paintbrushing him with his cowboy hat! Backstage, Tammy Fytch had been watching the previous match and was drooling over what she had just seen. Fytch thought that Ahmed Johnson would make a fantastic addition to Fytch Wrestling Enterprises. The Heavenly Bodies almost had to drag their captivated manager away from the screen. The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Prichard) defeated AC Connor and Major Yates when Tom Prichard pinned Connor with the Power Bomb in 0:04:22. Rating: ** 1/4A vignette aired for the soon-to-be-debuting Goldust, in which the bizarre superstar hinted that he might target The Undertaker. Jeff Jarrett pinned Zan Panzer after a legsweep faceslam in 0:03:09. Rating: **Mr. Perfect was the picture of supreme confidence as he returned to the ring for the first time in almost eight months. Perfect threw his towel in the air and caught it behind his back as he walked down the aisle, before hopping over the top rope and swatting his gum away. Savio Vega then made his way out to a nice ovation, but as he arrived at ringside he was doused in a drink by one of the newest members of the Flock! Vega grabbed his assailant and pulled him over the guardrail for a kicking, but the rest of the Flock jumped to his aid while Raven remained seated. A group of referees came down to break up the scuffle, allowing Mr. Perfect to take advantage and attack Vega. Mr. Perfect vs Savio VegaMr. Perfect threw Savio Vega into the ring to get this bout officially underway. Vega avoided Perfect’s dropkick and then took him down with a clothesline. Perfect rolled to the outside to regroup, while Vega took the opportunity to shake off the aftereffects of the pre-match beating. Perfect shoved Vega into the corner and went on the offensive with chops, punches and a kick to the gut. A jawbreaker from Savio broke up Perfect’s chinlock and Vega rallied with a cross-body for a near fall. Vega used a series of armdrags but when he went for another Perfect moved, sending Vega twisting in the air and crashing to the mat. Perfect was immediately all over his opponent with stomps. Vega came back and went for a splash, but Perfect got his knees up. Perfect put his feet on the ropes for the resulting pin attempt but Vega still kicked out. Mr. Perfect used a rolling neck snap and dropped a knee to the back of the head for two. A blind charge from Perfect ate spin kick and Savio made the Caribbean comeback. Vega launched Perfect out of the corner and all the way across the ring by the hair, and Perfect ended up sliding into the ring post groin-first which made for an uncomfortable landing! Vega rolled out, grabbed each of Perfect’s legs and tried to split him in half with the ring post. Perfect hobbled into an atomic drop - the impact of which sent Perfect into the turnbuckle - and Perfect rebounded back into an inverted atomic drop. A spinning kick in the corner from Vega sent both men to the floor. Vega threw Perfect back in but as Vega re-entered, Perfect snapped the middle ring rope back into Vega’s eyes! Perfect then caught Vega with the Perfect Plex to make it a triumphant return to the ring for the former Intercontinental Champion. Mr. Perfect pinned Savio Vega with the Perfect Plex in 0:15:43. Rating: *** 1/2Mr. Perfect wasn’t satisfied with just the win however. He wanted to make Savio Vega pay for putting him out of action. Perfect struck Vega across the back with a chair, then placed Vega’s arm inside the chair in an attempt to damage his arm. An eye for an eye, and all that. Perfect looked to jump off the middle turnbuckle and land on Vega’s trapped arm, but thankfully Sean Waltman ran in for the save. Waltman bloodied up Perfect’s nose with a series of kicks before sending him out of the ring. Waltman took the mic and angrily blamed Perfect for Waltman losing the Intercontinental Title at In Your House. Waltman added that he hadn’t forgotten that Perfect threw him into the ring post at Survivor Series which led to Waltman’s elimination at that event. Waltman challenged Perfect to a match so that he could have his revenge. Circuit information: With interim President Dean Douglas having been sent home by new Commissioner Sgt Slaughter, it was Mr. Perfect who bore the brunt of Sean Waltman's rage tonight. At In Your House, Perfect and Douglas conspired to ensure that Waltman dropped the Intercontinental Title back to Ludvig Borga, and now Waltman is after some payback. There is a long-standing issue between Waltman and Perfect that has never been resolved and it seems like it is only a matter of time that the two superstars will finally meet in the squared circle. The Birdman officially became a Flock reject tonight. Raven was unimpressed with his quick loss to PJ Walker which came after The Birdman had failed to recruit Walker to his Flock. What an explosive performance from the debuting Ahmed Johnson tonight, who shrugged off Rockabilly's offence and tore Tennessee Lee's man apart. Johnson is already attracting a lot of interest from the various managers in the World Wrestling Federation. This Monday it's Championship RAW and we are bringing you two must-see title matches. The Tag Team Titles are on the line when the Gentleman's Club of Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley defend against Chris Jericho and Owen Hart. Plus, Sabu challenges WWF Champion Shawn Michaels in a bout which promises to be so tasty that it should come with an after dinner mint. This is a match which grappling fans have desperately wanted to see for several years. Can Sabu upset the champion and steal his spot in the main event of WrestleMania? In addition to those two mammoth encounters, Commissioner Slaughter has ordered Dean Douglas to appear! Will this be Douglas' last night with the company? Tune in this Monday to find out!!

Monday Night RAW - Championship RAW! February 26th, 1996 Cincinatti Gardens, Cincinatti, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. WWF Championship Shawn Michaels vs SabuShawn Michaels was unsure how to combat Sabu’s unpredictable offence as the challenger repeatedly dived at Michaels’ legs. Sabu sat Michaels on the top turnbuckle, then climbed up to join him and dropkicked him off to the floor! Sabu followed up with a somersault plancha which found the mark. Sabu rolled in to break the count, then met Michaels coming back in through the ropes, turning him over and nailing a guillotine legdrop. Michaels tried to get some space between them and threw Sabu to the outside. Michaels missed a baseball slide and Sabu slammed the champion's into the steel steps. Sabu pulled a table out from underneath the ring and used it to bridge the ring with the guardrail. Michaels rolled off the hardware before Sabu could put him through it and gouged Sabu’s eyes. Michaels scored with a twisting cross body off the second turnbuckle to the floor, then dived off the apron and drove the back of Sabu’s head into the floor. Michaels deliberately suplexed Sabu near the guardrail so the back of Sabu’s legs met the steel. Back in the ring, The Heartbreak Kid callously targeted Sabu’s legs, hoping to ground the death-defying maniac. Sabu refused to give up to a single leg Boston crab and a figure-four leglock. It was noticeable that the crowd were cheering for Sabu, perhaps because the bulbous Paul Bearer was not out there with him. Michaels choked Sabu with his boot in the corner, then used a German suplex and a moonsault bodyblock for near falls. His inability to put Sabu away was beginning to frustrate the champion. Just like at In Your House, Michaels brought a ladder into the ring. Michaels took Sabu down with a flying clothesline off the ladder, then followed up with a big elbow off the ladder for another close two count. Sabu ducked the superkick and spiked Michaels with a sick DDT and the crowd roared! The challenger unleashed Air Sabu in the corner and followed up with a ropeflip moonsault for two. Sabu was unloading with everything in his arsenal and there was a sense that the gold was slipping away from Shawn Michaels. Sabu hit the Triple Jump Moonsault, but jarred his knee on impact and was slow making the cover. Michaels kicked out of the resulting pin attempt which deflated the crowd. Sabu climbed the ladder to attempt another move but Michaels tipped the ladder over and Sabu crashed through the table he had set up earlier! The fans were on their feet, urging Sabu to get back up. Michaels had had enough. Snarling, he dumped Sabu unceremoniously back into the ring, then ascended the ladder and connected with a gigantic splash off the top rung to retain the WWF Championship! Match with Managers Banned From Ringside: Shawn Michaels pinned Sabu after a flying bodypress in 0:18:44. Rating: **** 3/4 (Shawn Michaels retained the WWF World Heavyweight Title.)It was a memorable move to cap off an unforgettable encounter here tonight on Monday Night RAW. Sabu was being applauded by a good portion of the crowd for his performance. The Human Highlight Reel offered a handshake to Shawn Michaels, but the cocky champion refused and rolled out of the ring with his title instead. Sabu looked on disgusted as halfway up the aisle Michaels planted a big kiss on his WWF Championship belt to rile up the crowd… BANG!Through hellfire and brimstone, it’s Kane! What is the crimson demon doing out here?? Michaels was not about to stand around and find out, instead opting to hop the rail and hightail it through the crowd. It was soon apparent that the target of Kane’s rage was Sabu. Kane confronted Sabu in the ring and grabbed him by the throat, but Sabu broke his grip and fought him off! With the crowd behind him, Sabu went for a springboard move but Kane goozled him and dropped him with a choke slam. A Tombstone soon followed and Sabu was done. Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase then rolled out in his electric wheelchair. DiBiase said that he and Kane have had to listen to Paul Bearer flap his fat gums about how Sabu was the first man to defeat The Undertaker in a Casket Match, yet that doesn’t exactly tell the full story. For it was Kane who put The Undertaker in his own casket at the Royal Rumble, then burned it to the ground and sent Undertaker to his eternal damnation. And what thanks did Kane get from Sabu? Nothing. Instead, Sabu was rewarded with a WWF Title shot and Kane got nothing. DiBiase told Sabu that he had stolen Kane’s title shot and warned that nobody is taking anything from Kane any more. Vince McMahon interviewed Commissioner Slaughter, specifically regarding interim President Dean Douglas’ status with the company. Slaughter said that the board of directors of the World Wrestling Federation have serious concerns about the day-to-day operations of this company. He continued that Dean Douglas has been unable to weather the storm that has been raging over the past few months, instead allowing himself to be distracted by a personal vendetta with Sean Waltman. Slaughter revealed that the board do not trust Douglas with handling the safety of WWF superstars and they agreed that urgent and decisive action is necessary. Effective immediately and indefinitely Sgt Slaughter, in his role as WWF Commissioner, has been granted full executive emergency powers. Slaughter added that the chaos and insubordination will end, and there will be consequences for those who don’t fall in line. Vince wanted to know where all of this leaves Dean Douglas. Slaughter wanted to address Dean personally and ordered him down to the ring. Douglas jogged out and asked Slaughter to hear him out before he said anything else. Douglas claimed that he was a great President and listed off all the innovative ideas he had come up with; the first ever Wild Card Match at Survivor Series, the Free for All at the Royal Rumble, he even brought back with the Brother Love Show! Douglas’ case was not helped as the fans jeered that last example. Panicking, Douglas got down on his knees and pleaded with Slaughter. Douglas sobbed that he loves this company and he does not want to leave it ever. Douglas begged Slaughter not to fire him. Slaughter, clearly disgusted by Douglas’ performance, called him a snivelling maggot and ordered him to get to his feet. Slaughter pointed out that nobody ever said anything about firing Douglas, but perhaps a reallocation of duties is what is called for. Instead of Dean Douglas, WWF president, how does Dean Douglas, WWF superstar sound? If his attacks on Sean Waltman are anything to go by, Slaughter said that Douglas seems very keen to mix it up with other wrestlers, and Slaughter has the power to make that happen. And if Douglas wants to remain with the company like he says, then he will agree to join the active roster. Douglas said that it doesn’t sound like he has a choice. Slaughter told Douglas not to pretend that this isn’t something Douglas has dreamed about. Slaughter knew for a fact that Douglas has some previous training under his belt, adding that Douglas wasn’t very good but there was still a few weeks left for Douglas to practice and get ring ready ahead of his official debut. You see, Dean Douglas will compete in his first match in front of 18,000 fans at the biggest show of the year, WrestleMania XII! Commissioner Slaughter invited Dean Douglas to imagine his name up in lights at the Arrowhead Pond. Slaughter said that as a failed trainee who didn't make the grade, Douglas will have the chance to stick it to everybody who ever told him he wasn’t good enough. Douglas looked off into the distance, visualising the scene, and began smiling. Slaughter left him to dream, but then halfway down the aisle Slaughter stopped and remembered something. The Sarge had completely forgotten to tell Douglas one other detail. The smile was quickly wiped off Douglas’ face when Slaughter broke the news that his opponent at WrestleMania will be Sean Waltman!! Chris Jericho and Owen Hart were preparing for their match with the Gentleman's Club later when Lance Storm showed up in their locker room. Storm apologised for acting like an idiot last week and confirmed that he was fully behind their Tag Team Title challenge. Storm offered to be in their corner tonight to counteract the threat from the British Bulldog. A relieved Jericho was glad to have Storm back onside and accepted his offer. Handshakes all around. Shawn Michaels, more overbearing that ever as a result of his earlier win, caught up with Commissioner Slaughter to gloat over his defeat of Sabu. Michaels chastised Slaughter for doubting that he is the showstopper and the main event, adding that he doesn’t need help from anybody to get the job done. Slaughter admitted it had been an impressive performance and congratulated The Heartbreak Kid on his win. However, Slaughter noted that Michaels sure does seem to love using ladders. This had given Slaughter an idea – he was making the WWF Championship Match between Michaels and Razor Ramon at WrestleMania a Ladder Match! The wind had well and truly been taken out of Michaels’ sails. WWF World Tag Team Championship Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs Chris Jericho and Owen HartGentleman's Club (Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Lord Steven Regal) defeated Chris Jericho and Owen Hart when Regal pinned Jericho after a double underhook superplex in 0:12:09. Rating: **** 1/4 (Gentleman's Club retained the WWF World Tag Team Titles.) [British Bulldog interfered against Owen Hart.] [Lance Storm interfered against Chris Jericho.]The referee was caught up with a brawl between Chris Jericho and Hunter Hearst Helmsley while Owen Hart had Lord Steven Regal trapped in the Sharpshooter. The British Bulldog grabbed the cricket bat and drilled Owen in the back, breaking the hold. Lance Storm then sprang into action, dropping Bulldog with a superkick. Storm took the bat and chased Bulldog to the back. Storm later returned to ringside to stand guard with the cricket bat. The belts appeared to be in jeopardy as Owen and Jericho ran riot with dropkicks and spinning heel kicks. Owen blasted Regal with an enzuigiri and then dived onto Helmsley with a tope. With Regal downed, Jericho hit an Asai moonsault for a near fall. Jericho then went to the top rope looking for the missile dropick, but Lance Storm struck him with the cricket bat!! Jericho slipped off the turnbuckle and crotched himself. The boos were deafening for Storm, who threw the bat down and left. Regal took the stunned Jericho down with a butterfly superplex to retain the titles. Circuit information: What a night it has been tonight on Championship RAW! Shawn Michaels and Sabu contested what was arguably the greatest match in the history of Monday Night RAW, in which The Heartbreak Kid ultimately came out on top and retained his WWF Championship. Michaels showed how physically tough he really is in order to survive this twenty-minute war with the most destructive superstar on the roster. And Michaels will need to be tough when he steps into another battle at WrestleMania, where he is now scheduled to defend his title in a Ladder Match against Razor Ramon. Kane made his first appearance in almost a month, showing up unexpectedly to brutalise Sabu after his epic encounter with Shawn Michaels. Ted DiBiase explained that Sabu had not shown any gratitude for the part Kane played in Sabu’s victory over The Undertaker in the Casket Match at the Royal Rumble. The Million Dollar Man also suggested that Kane should have received the WWF Title shot instead of Sabu. The prospect of the masked monster as WWF Champion is a very unsettling one. Dean Douglas officially became an active member of the roster this evening, accepting Commissioner Slaughter’s deal in order to remain with the company. Douglas had lashed out too many times against Sean Waltman for him to remain in a position of power. With Slaughter now calling the shots, Douglas will face Waltman one-on-one at WrestleMania. Lance Storm turned on his long-time friend and tag team partner Chris Jericho, robbing Jericho and Owen Hart of their chance to win the Tag Team Titles. Storm had been angered in recent weeks at the developing friendship between Jericho and Owen while he was sidelined with injury. When Jericho chose Owen to challenge for the belts instead of him, it was the final straw for Storm and it sent him over the edge. The attack from Storm was pre-meditated and it was disgusting – he lied directly to Jericho’s face before the bout, claiming that he would support him – before costing Jericho the match. It is truly a shame to witness the break-up of one of the most exciting and successful tag teams in WWF history. The card for WrestleMania XII is beginning to take shape, with three matches now announced for the card on 31st March: WWF Championship Ladder MatchShawn Michaels vs Razor RamonWWF Intercontinental ChampionshipLudvig Borga vs Crush
Dean Douglas vs Sean WaltmanTwo rematches from a fortnight ago this weekend on Superstars, as Great Muta squares off with TITAN and Bam Bam Bigelow battles Jean-Pierre Lafitte. Jake Roberts, Jesse James, Justin "Hawk" Bradshaw and The New Rockers are all scheduled for action, plus Jim Ross sits down with new sensation Ahmed Johnson for an exclusive interview. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars March 2nd, 1996 Civic Center, Huntington, WV Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix.
The show opened with a video package documenting TITAN’s recent path of destruction, in which he has choke slammed The Ultimate Warrior through the ring and Great Muta on the hood of a car. TITAN will face Muta tonight in a rematch from two weeks ago, in which Muta was disqualified for blinding the giant with green mist.
Bam Bam Bigelow and Jean-Pierre Lafitte battled to a double countout in 0:10:58 . Rating: ***
Just like their previous battle this match spilled to the outside, where Bam Bam Bigelow and Jean-Pierre Lafitte took turns slamming each other into the guardrail. Bigelow reversed a whip into the ring post and then started to climb back into the ring to beat the referee's count, but Lafitte grabbed a handful of trunks and pulled him down off the apron. Both men were counted out once again.
Bam Bam Bigelow attacked Jean-Pierre Lafitte out of frustration and the two men continued to fight around ringside. Commissioner Slaughter came out to break up the brawl, threatening both superstars with suspension if they refused to stop fighting. Slaughter booked a lumberjack match between the two men to settle the score once and for all.
The New Rockers (Leif Cassidy and Marty Jannetty) defeated PG-13 (J.C. Ice and Wolfie D) when Jannetty pinned Wolfie D with the Flying Fistdrop in 0:06:51. Rating: ** 1/4
Vince McMahon revealed that Commissioner Slaughter has ordered another bout between Raven and Savio Vega for next week. Raven defeated Savio at In Your House, but then on last week’s edition of Superstars the Caribbean superstar got into another skirmish with The Flock.
Jake Roberts pinned Sherdell Taylor with the DDT in 0:02:40. Rating: -1/2*
After the bout Jake Roberts released Revelations onto Sherdell Taylor, much to the amusement of the crowd.
Footage aired of Ahmed Johnson’s explosive debut last week in which he took just over a minute to lay waste to Rockabilly. A sitdown interview that Jim Ross had conducted with Johnson earlier today was then shown. Johnson, a natural athlete in football, basketball, wrestling and track in high school, talked about growing up in Pearl River, Mississippi, before moving to Texas. Johnson revealed his harsh upbringing with unpleasant memories of family strife. Johnson said he had an abusive father who beat his mother constantly and when Ahmed tried to help her, his father would beat him as well. Johnson went to college at the University of Tennessee, which led to two seasons kicking around the Dallas Cowboys squad as a middle linebacker. After his football career ended, Johnson joined the army as part of the Deltas. That was going well – until he beat up his captain after a disagreement over some orders. Johnson said that just like his father, that captain was a bully, and Ahmed Johnson stands up to bullies. Johnson invited the superstars of the WWF to try and bully him and see how that works out.
Vince McMahon announced that a rematch between Ahmed Johnson and Rockabilly will take place next week on Superstars. Will the result be different now that Rockabilly knows what he’s dealing with?
Harvey Wippleman cut a promo in which he offered to guide Ahmed Johnson to the top of the WWF, just like he is taking TITAN all the way to the top. Gary Hart then interrupted, suggesting instead that Johnson should hook up with him because unlike Wippleman, his man Ludvig Borga has a title around his waist. Wippleman and Hart continued to argue while TITAN and Ludvig Borga stared menacingly at each other in the background.
Jesse James pinned Gary Scott with the Back Alley Finale in 0:04:27. Rating: *
During the match, Jesse James cut an insert promo in which he claimed that in a bizarre way Jeff Jarrett showed him respect at In Your House, because Jarrett viewed him as enough of a threat that he had to resort to cheating. James said that he had already forgotten about his issue with Jarrett and was moving on to try and win some gold. James stated that he will reveal how he plans to become a champion soon.
Justin Bradshaw pinned Tony Williams with the Lariat in 0:01:52. Rating: *
"I do not know what power shapes my way, but my feet are set upon a road that I must follow." The Ten Commandments - 1956. In the latest Goldust vignette, the creature of Hollywood outlined his master plan here in the World Wrestling Federation, which he predicts will culminate with the happy ending of him winning the WWF Championship.
Another huge announcement from Vince McMahon - Bret "Hitman" Hart will return to the ring at WrestleMania to face Scott Steiner!! Steiner will be in action this week on RAW.
TITAN pinned Great Muta with the Choke Slam in 0:07:08. Rating: *** 1/4
Incensed by the attack by TITAN on the In Your House Free For All, Great Muta came out swinging and used a series of kicks to drive TITAN back into the corner. Muta unloaded with chops, but TITAN responded with a massive overhand chop that sent Muta to the floor. Muta came back and tried to go after the giant’s tree trunk-like legs, but TITAN clubbed him in the back and sent him to the outside again with a big boot. Muta crept under the ring and came out on the other side to dropkick TITAN from behind. Muta went after the knees, dropkicking TITAN down to the mat and laying in with the flashing elbow for a near fall. Muta went high risk, connecting with a flying axhandle and then a missile dropkick. TITAN would not go down. Muta tried to launch himself off the top a third time but on this occasion TITAN was waiting for him and Muta got goozled! Muta desperately attempted to mist the giant, but TITAN blocked it with his forearm and finished Muta off with the choke slam. TITAN may be big, but he ain’t stupid!
Circuit information: This was the Great Muta's final night with the company. We wish him all the best with his future endeavours.
After he turned on his tag team partner Chris Jericho last Monday, Lance Storm will appear on the Brother Love Show this coming week on RAW to provide an explanation for his actions. In addition, Razor Ramon is scheduled to return to the ring following the vicious beating he received at the hands of Shawn Michaels at In Your House, plus Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga and Scott Steiner will be in action. Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW March 4th, 1996 Cincinatti Gardens, Cincinatti, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan opened the show at ringside. Vince was in full-on hype mode, excitedly announcing that Razor Ramon will be in action against Man Mountain Rock, Scott Steiner will face Jesse James and Lance Storm is scheduled to appear on tonight’s edition of the Brother Love Show…
BOOM!
McMahon and Heenan ducked for cover as the entrance way exploded in a wall of fire, signalling another unscheduled appearance from the masked monster Kane! A hastily cobbled together video package aired recapping last week’s events, where Kane came looking for Sabu following the Human Highlight Reel’s barnburner with WWF Champion Shawn Michaels. However, Sabu did not back down and was ready to fight Kane, before ultimately being taken down with the Tombstone.
Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase was by Kane’s side as always. From his electric wheelchair, DiBiase said that it had been over a month since Kane destroyed The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble and sent him to hell in his own burning casket. DiBiase acknowledged that we’d all heard The Undertaker’s creepy warning after the inferno had been extinguished, but suggested that if The Undertaker was coming back then he would have done so by now. DiBiase claimed that it is safe to say that The Undertaker is gone forever, therefore they should honour the fallen Undertaker by ringing the bell ten times. On commentary, Vince was disgusted at the arrogance of Ted DiBiase, insinuating that this was all a show to stick it to the fans.
DiBiase asked Kane to go and get the ring bell and Kane started walking slowly towards the timekeeper's table, when from underneath the ring came Sabu! The Human Highlight Reel was armed with a fire extinguisher, which he used to spray Kane directly in his one good eye! The crowd were on their feet for Sabu! Kane rolled to the sanctuary of the ring, but Sabu followed and continued to blast Kane in the face with the extinguisher! The crimson demon lost his equilibrium and fell out of the ring.
Sabu grabbed a chair from ringside while Kane returned to the ring to resume the fight. Sabu launched the chair at Kane's head and then tried to whip the stunned monster into the corner, but Kane reversed and charged. Sabu dodged Kane, who struck the corner hard, and then Sabu unleashed a wicked springboard swinging DDT to take the crimson demon down! Nobody had taken the fight to Kane like this before! Just like his older brother, Kane sat up, but Sabu was all over him again. The Human Highlight Reel connected with Air Sabu and Kane retreated to the outside, while Ted DiBiase had a serious look of concern on his face. Sabu set the chair up and went for a Triple Jump Plancha to the outside, but Kane moved and Sabu slammed against the guardrail. Sabu was in trouble, rolling around at ringside in agony clutching his chest. Kane went in for the kill, choke slamming Sabu on the floor. Kane then threw Sabu back into the squared circle and dished out a pair of Tombstone piledrivers to end this brutal brawl.
Razor Ramon pinned Man Mountain Rock after a flying bulldog in 0:06:46. Rating: ***
Razor Ramon made his first appearance since In Your House here tonight and he displayed the effects of that beating from Shawn Michaels in the form of heavily taped ribs. Ramon winced and favoured his ribs and back each time he performed a manoeuvre which impacted those areas. This match spilled to the outside, where Ramon sent Man Mountain Rock into the steel steps. From the front row, The Flock began to goad Ramon but the Bad Guy responded by flicking his toothpick at Rad Radford. That brought Raven to his feet and he and Ramon glared at each other. Ramon drilled Rock with a bulldog off the top for the win as the fans chanted, "Next World Champ".
After the match, Razor Ramon took the mic and said that Shawn Michaels tried to take away his WWF Title shot, but he failed. At In Your House, Michaels tried to injure him and put him on the shelf for WrestleMania, but he failed. At WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels will try to hold on to the WWF Championship, but Ramon said that he would fail yet again. Ramon acknowledged that The Heartbreak Kid likes to play with ladders, but we’ll see how much he likes it after WrestleMania.
Scott Steiner made Jesse James submit to the Steiner Recliner in 0:08:03. Rating: ***
After the match Scott Steiner took the mic and cut a powerful promo on Bret Hart, the man he will face at WrestleMania. Steiner said that while Hart has been doing all he can to train his body to get back into shape for his return, it's obvious that The Hitman has not been training his brain. Steiner claimed that Bret should have called it a day after the beating Steiner gave him last time when he snapped his pencil neck. Steiner said that he made a mistake when he didn’t finish the job there and then, but at WrestleMania Steiner said he would not stop. Steiner said that this would be Bret Hart’s last fight; when he beats him to bits at WrestleMania The Hitman will retire. And he doesn’t care who it is, whether it’s Bret’s withered up old mother, his senile father or one of his ugly horse-toothed brothers, somebody will have to throw in the towel to save Bret and pick him up off the floor.
Steiner had some taxing questions for The Hitman. What if, after WrestleMania, Bret Hart can’t walk anymore? What if he can’t pick up his five-year-old son? What if he can't hold his wife anymore, what if he can't satisfy his wife anymore as a man?? Is that really a risk worth taking, only to spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair with his p*ss sloshing about in a bag?
Vince McMahon immediately demanded that Steiner’s mic be cut and apologised for the language used. McMahon said that Bret Hart is scheduled for interview time next week and it will be interesting to see how he responds to Steiner’s crass comments.
Ludvig Borga pinned Barry Horowitz after a right hook in 0:01:28. Rating: * 3/4
No messing about here tonight from Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga. He put the brakes on when Barry Horowitz went for a leapfrog and when Horowitz landed, Borga turned his lights out with a vicious right hook. That was all she wrote.
Vince McMahon announced that on next week's show, Ludvig Borga's WrestleMania opponent Crush will square off with the British Bulldog.
IIII LLLOOOOOOVVVVVE YYOOOOOOOU!!!
On the Brother Love Show, Lance Storm vented about last week’s break-up of The Thrillseekers. Storm was being booed out of the building. The bitter Storm looked at the fans with disdain and said he was sick of being asked all week the same questions of why he turned his back on Chris Jericho and why he betrayed his tag team partner. While Brother Love nodded his agreement like a puppet, Storm said that in fact it was Jericho who turned his back on him when Jericho decided to team with somebody else. Storm noted that he and Chris Jericho had been friends and tag team partners for six years. They had broken into the business together, they had travelled the world together and they had won titles together. But when Jericho chose to team with Owen Hart last week instead of him, it showed Storm that their friendship meant nothing to Jericho. Storm said that Jericho’s hero-worshipping of The Rocket was pathetic and claimed he had no regrets attacking Jericho.
Lance Storm vowed to find a new tag team partner to go after the titles and said that they would be an upgrade on Chris Jericho. Brother Love inquired if Storm had anybody in mind, but just then PJ Walker wandered down to the ring. Walker offered himself up as Storm’s partner, saying that the two of them went way back and acknowledging for the first time that Lance Storm had in fact trained him. Storm wasn’t high on the idea. Storm said that after PJ had been the sole survivor in his match at the Survivor Series, Walker had done nothing of note. Storm lambasted Walker for failing to make an impact, and Storm was no longer going to team up with failures.
Lance Storm left the crestfallen PJ Walker standing in the ring, but then Chris Jericho burst out from the back and tried to attack his former partner! A group of referees, along with Owen Hart, held Jericho back before he could get to Storm. The fans wanted to see the former Tag Team Champions fight as the show went off-air.
Circuit information: Scott Steiner continues to make things more and more personal with Bret Hart. Not satisfied with almost ending The Hitman’s career with a serious injury, Steiner has vowed to force Hart into early retirement at WrestleMania. He also dragged Bret’s wife and children into it when he named them in his heated post-match promo. We are scheduled to get some comments from The Hitman next week as the build continues for one of the most eagerly anticipated match-ups in Federation history.
Sabu has gained some significant fan support after he refused to back down from Kane last week and then tonight he went after the crimson demon with a fire extinguisher! The two men had a wild brawl but when all was said and done Kane was left standing tall as the unstoppable masked monster claimed another victim.
Lance Storm believes that he was completely justified in attacking his former tag team partner Chris Jericho last week and is now determined to go after the Tag Team Titles with somebody else by his side. Can Storm find anybody who would be capable of dominating the tag division like he and Jericho did? Certainly PJ Walker does not seem to be under consideration by Storm. Meanwhile, Jericho wants revenge for Storm’s actions and is keen to meet his former tag partner one-on-one.
This is how the card looks so far for WrestleMania XII which is live on pay-per-view on March 31 from the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California:
WWF Championship Ladder Match Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon
Bret "Hitman" Hart vs Scott Steiner
WWF Intercontinental Championship Ludvig Borga vs Crush
Dean Douglas vs Sean Waltman
It appeared that Raven was going to step up to Razor Ramon tonight, but perhaps he is saving himself for Savio Vega this weekend on Superstars. There is certainly unfinished business between the two as far as Vega is concerned. Also on the show we'll get another look at the explosive Ahmed Johnson when Rockabilly challenges him once again, while Mr. Perfect squares off with Fatu. For fans of Steve Austin and Waylon Mercy, they are also scheduled for action. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars March 9th, 1996 Civic Center, Huntington, WV Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix.
The opening contest tonight on Superstars saw Raven face off with Savio Vega in a rematch from last month's In Your House event. Raven came out with his Flock but Commissioner Slaughter was soon on the scene and he barred Raven’s group from ringside for the next match. The crowd were delighted, but Raven sat in the corner and went on a self-pitying rant. Raven said that once again society has made him try and conform to its rules. They have left him all alone. But he’s been left alone before, for weeks at a time as a child; he was friendless through school. The fans jeered Raven as he continued that he doesn’t need anyone. Savio Vega then made his entrance and without The Flock around it ensured that, unlike the last time these men met, it would be fought on an even playing field.
[Raven's Rules]: No-DQ-Match with Managers Banned From Ringside: Savio Vega pinned Raven after a jack-knife cradle in 0:10:25. Rating: ** 3/4
Savio Vega dominated the opening exchanges, sending Raven to the outside with a dropkick and following up with a baseball slide. However, Raven reversed a whip into the steel steps and later shoved Vega off into the ring post. Raven wedged a chair into the corner and flung Vega into it. The Poet of the Macabre placed the chair on top of Savio and attempted a Vader Bomb, but Vega sent the chair up into Raven’s head! Raven came back with a drop toe hold onto the seat of the chair and signalled for the Evenflow DDT. But before he could complete the move, Vega managed to break free and double-leg Raven down, scoring the pin on a shocked Raven with a cradle!
No sooner had the bell rang than The Flock swarmed the ring to assault Savio Vega. However, this time Vega had back-up as Bob Holly and The New Rockers ran in to help the Caribbean superstar send The Flock packing.
Steve Austin pinned Scott D'Amore with the Stunner in 0:03:43. Rating: * 3/4
During the bout, Steve Austin cut an insert promo in which he said he had been waiting too long for a championship opportunity. Austin claimed he belongs on the grandest stage of all and demanded a title shot on the big show, WrestleMania.
Mr. Perfect pinned Fatu with the Perfect Plex in 0:09:12. Rating: ** 3/4
After Mr. Perfect had put away Fatu with an extremely impressive Perfect Plex on the near 300-pounder, Perfect took the mic and accepted Sean Waltman’s challenge to a match. Perfect also had a surprise in store for Waltman when he revealed that he has been training Dean Douglas in order to get him ready for his match with Waltman at WrestleMania! Perfect claimed that Douglas’ preparation for the show on 31st March will be “perfect” and predicted that with Perfect's tutelage, Douglas will defeat Waltman.
Waylon Mercy made David Haskins submit to the Procedure in 0:03:51. Rating: * 1/2
"All right Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up." Sunset Boulevard - 1950. Goldust cut a promo in which he said that the Hollywood premiere, which the whole world has been anticipating, will soon be upon us. At WrestleMania XII, Goldust claimed that it will be lights, camera, and ooh, so much action. The bizarre superstar said that everybody will remember the name, Goldust.
Ahmed Johnson pinned Rockabilly with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:03:15. Rating: ** 1/2
Rockabilly tried to get the jump on Ahmed Johnson before the bell, but Johnson quickly overpowered him and punished Rockabilly with a press slam. Rockabilly attempted to crawl outside for a breather, but Johnson caught him on the apron. Rockabilly responded by snapping Ahmed’s neck off the top rope and took over. Rockabilly wore Ahmed down with a sleeper but with the crowd firmly behind him Ahmed broke the hold by ramming Rockabilly back into the corner. Rockabilly charged into a giant spinebuster and the Pearl River Plunge finished.
After the match Tennessee Lee once again tore into his charge for another quick loss to the rookie. Jesse James came out to interrupt. James said that Rockabilly’s career was going backwards with the albatross Tennessee Lee around his neck. James hated to admit it, but said Jeff Jarrett was right when he decided to ditch Lee. James asked Rockabilly if he enjoyed staring at the lights night after night, because that's what the future holds if he continues with Lee as his manager. Rockabilly shook his head in the negative. James thought that Rockabilly should leave Lee and suggested that the two of them team together. James acknowledged that they had teamed up before when both part of Tennessee Lee Promotions and there had been some good chemistry there. James said that he and Rockabilly together could be money. An angry Tennessee Lee warned James to mind his own business. Lee said that James was a nothing but a loser since day one, claiming that he never wanted anything to do with him. Lee added that Rockabilly is championship material, something Jesse James never will be, and Rockabilly was best off with him. Lee ordered Rockabilly back to the dressing room, but Billy shoved Lee down and left with Jesse James. The crowd were happy to see Rockabilly and Jesse James walk to the back together as the show drew to a close.
Circuit information: Jesse James walked out to the ring following another convincing defeat for Rockabilly and asked him to dump his manager Tennessee Lee and team with him. Rockabilly answered by firing Lee and telling James he was in. A new team appears to have been formed tonight and it is now apparent that this is what James was talking about last week when he said he had a plan to win championship gold. Jesse James is targeting the Tag Team Titles and he has chosen Rockabilly to be his partner.
An eight-man tag team match has been booked for next week’s show pitting Savio Vega, Bob Holly and The New Rockers against The Flock. This bout will mark the in-ring debut of the two newest members of The Flock, Mosh and Thrasher, who are collectively known as The Headbangers.
The weekly vignettes from Goldust have generated a lot of buzz and we now know that the bizarre superstar will make his first appearance at WrestleMania.
This coming week on RAW, Bret Hart will take a break from his intensive training schedule to respond to the personal comments made by Scott Steiner on last Monday's show. The Hitman's preparations are in full swing as he gets ready to return to the ring at WrestleMania to take on Steiner. The team of Chris Jericho and Owen Hart will be in action, while Crush squares off with The British Bulldog in what promises to be a battle between two powerhouses. The man who may very well become the new WWF Champion at WrestleMania, Razor Ramon, will give his thoughts on the Ladder Match with Shawn Michaels, while Raven and TITAN are also scheduled to compete. It's a loaded show, so until then so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW March 11th, 1996 Freeman Coliseum, San Antonio, TX Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show opened with Chris Jericho and Owen Hart making their way out for action, their first official outing as a regular team. Jericho and Owen are going by the name of The Lion Harts. On his way to the ring, Jericho addressed his former partner Lance Storm and challenged him to a match.
The Lion Harts (Chris Jericho and Owen Hart) defeated The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Prichard) when O. Hart made Tom Prichard submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:10:54. Rating: *** [Tammy Fytch interfered against Chris Jericho.] [Tammy Fytch interfered against Owen Hart.]
The first outing of The Lion Harts couldn’t have gone much better. Chris Jericho used a missile dropkick to send Tom Prichard crashing into his partner Jimmy Del Ray. The impact sent Del Ray to the floor and Owen Hart took advantage of the malfunction at the junction, trapping Prichard in the Sharpshooter while Jericho dove onto Del Ray with a plancha. Prichard submitted to give Owen and Jericho the win.
PJ Walker ran down to the ring after the decision. Walker was armed with a kendo stick, which he used to wrap around the back of Owen’s head! Walker dumped Owen to the outside and when Jericho tried to intervene, Walker met him with a kendo stick shot to the gut! PJ absolutely battered Jericho with the stick as the crowd voiced their disapproval. What has gotten into PJ Walker?! Walker then left just as quickly as he had appeared and stormed to the back.
A Bret Hart training video aired, showing The Hitman getting into shape ahead of his showdown with Scott Steiner at WrestleMania. Comments from Hart were then shown, in which he warned Steiner never to speak about his wife and family ever again. The Hitman said that as a man sometimes you have to know when to walk away, and when to fight. Hart vowed to be back to 100% for WrestleMania and in three weeks he will walk down that aisle not to wrestle, but to fight. The Hitman promised that this will be a full on massacre, the complete annihilation of Scott Steiner. Bret told Steiner not to hunt what he can’t kill.
Backstage, Lance Storm was about to discuss Chris Jericho's challenge with Dok Hendrix when PJ Walker bumped into him, still in possession of the now damaged kendo stick. Walker asked Storm how’s that for an impact? PJ left Storm smiling to himself.
[Raven's Rules]: No-DQ-Match: Raven pinned Big Boss Man with the Evenflow DDT in 0:05:04. Rating: ** 3/4
After the match, Raven intimated that he wants a title around his waist.
The rest of the Flock hopped the railing and prepared to enter the ring to deliver further punishment to the Big Boss Man, but an explosion of hellfire and brimstone sent them scattering through the crowd! Kane made his way out to his creepy organ music, flanked by Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. Kane dropped the Boss Man with a choke slam and a Tombstone piledriver before DiBiase took the mic. DiBiase said that after they were rudely interrupted last week, tonight they would honour the memory of the departed Undertaker with a ten bell salute, and there would be no more intrusions. DiBiase instructed the terrified timekeeper to bring the ring bell and stand beside Kane. The timekeeper slowly rang the bell ten times, but DiBiase said that he should ring it once more for himself. Kane then grabbed the tiny timekeeper and choke slammed him!
DiBiase then told Kane to Tombstone the timekeeper and the crimson demon complied with the Million Dollar Man’s wishes. DiBiase said that this marks the end of a long, long road. He ranted that Kane has done exactly what DiBiase told all of the leeches of the night that he said he was going to do. DiBiase warned that Kane is not quite finished yet and he still has one more Tombstone left in his giant body. DiBiase begged for somebody to step up, before threatening Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan at the announcers’ desk.
GONG!
Massive pop from the crowd!
GONG! GONG! GONG!
Despite the sound that usually signals the arrival of The Undertaker playing on repeat, Ted DiBiase reassured Kane that it is not him. It cannot be him, he’s gone forever. Vince McMahon remarked that a damp coldness had come over the arena. Smoke began to bellow out from the entrance way, which was now drowned in purple light. The crowd began to cheer as The Undertaker made a grand entrance, descending from the rafters with huge Batman-like wings! The Deadman had also ditched the coloured gloves and hat and was clad in new leather ring attire.
The crowd were going wild as The Undertaker landed in the aisle. Ted DiBiase was in total disbelief at the reappearance of The Phenom. The Undertaker said that Kane had disappointed him with his attempts to destroy him at the Royal Rumble, warning that you cannot destroy that which does not wish to perish. Undertaker panned DiBiase for coming out here week after week to claim responsibility for The Deadman’s disappearance, when in fact each time The Undertaker returns to the world of darkness, it is of his own accord. It is a time for spiritual healing. This time, he left to soothe the souls of his parents because he had to explain to them why he would have to do the one thing that he promised never to do…
DiBiase interrupted, claiming that The Undertaker is not the Phenom anymore and the real Phenom is standing in the ring. Kane then raised his arms, threw them to his side and shot fire up in the aisle right in front of The Undertaker, who walked directly through the flames! The Undertaker vowed to walk straight through the fires of hell to face Kane. The Deadman said that when Kane looks into the eyes of his older brother, he’ll understand why The Undertaker is the most feared entity in the World Wrestling Federation, why he is the reaper of wayward souls and why he is the Lord of Darkness. The Undertaker said that there is one final thing that he wants Kane to think about between now and WrestleMania XII on March 31st. He wants Kane to remember when they were small children and they would begin to fight, and mother and father were always there to pull him off Kane. Well this time, there won’t be anyone to save Kane. May the hounds of hell eat your rotting soul and you will rest … in … peace!
After commercials, Vince McMahon invited Razor Ramon down to the ring to discuss his Ladder Match for the WWF Championship with Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania. Ramon said that in a Ladder Match, there are no rules, there is no ref and there is no time limit – just the way the Bad Guy likes it! Anything could happen, it is so unpredictable, just like Razor Ramon. Ramon said that it’s simple, but it's not easy. The belt above the ring, the ladder in the aisle and Ramon said that in the end, the Bad Guy will have the gold! The fans gave Ramon a tremendous reception.
Crush pinned British Bulldog after the Hawaiian Smasher in 0:10:10. Rating: *** [Ludvig Borga interfered against Crush.]
After much stalling on the part of the British Bulldog, the two powerhouses locked up in a test of strength. Crush was getting the upper hand until he was kicked down by the Bulldog. Bulldog only got Crush down to his knees before Crush powered back up and then pressed slammed the Bulldog in a very impressive feat of strength. Bulldog bailed to the outside and began walking to the back, but Crush caught up with him and whipped Bulldog into the steps. Crush scored with a nice looking dropkick and a belly-to-belly suplex for a near fall, but missed a splash in the corner and Bulldog threw him to the outside. Bulldog hit an axehandle and then rammed Crush’s back into the ring post. Bulldog rolled back in and took the ref as Ludvig Borga ran out and dumped the top section of the steel steps on top of Crush! The Intercontinental Champion quickly disappeared following his dastardly act. However, Crush beat the count back in.
The British Bulldog targeted the back, utilising a bearhug, but Crush broke the hold. Bulldog went for a vertical suplex but Crush reversed, hitting one of his own. Crush used a back suplex, a scoop slam and a legdrop, which earned a very, very close two count. Crush signalled for the Cranium Crunch, but Bulldog went to the eyes and clotheslined Crush down. Bulldog picked Crush up for the running powerslam but Crush slid down and shoved Bulldog into the ropes, before catching him on the rebound for the Hawaiian Smasher. A great win for Crush ahead of WrestleMania.
The show closed with a scheduled singles bout between TITAN and the master illusionist, Phantasio. TITAN waited impatiently in the ring while Phantasio performed a pre-match illusion in the entrance way. He placed his assistant inside a large cage, locked it and then pulled a curtain all the way around. Phantasio spun the cage around once and when he drew back the curtain, his assistant had been replaced with a lion, which roared from behind the bars! If the trick was designed to intimidate TITAN, then it did not seem to be working. Phantasio closed the curtain again and repeated the act, but when he unveiled the contents of the cage this time the lion had disappeared. However, in its place was not Phantasio’s assistant, but rather a snarling and enraged Ultimate Warrior!!
The roof almost came off the arena while a look of utter shock appeared on TITAN’s face! Warrior grabbed the cage bars and began to prise them open. Warrior climbed out of the cage and sprinted down to the ring at full speed! TITAN was waiting with a clothesline but Warrior ducked under and hit a clothesline of his own. One more followed, before he took TITAN down with a diving shoulderblock!! Warrior shook the ropes, whipping the crowd into a frenzy! TITAN tried to go after him, but Warrior backdropped him over the top to the floor!! Warrior paced around the ring, channelling the power of ancient warriors, while Harvey Wippleman desperately tried to convince TITAN to leave the ringside area. The fans in the arena were totally captivated by the Warrior as the show drew to a close.
Circuit information: Let’s take a moment to catch breath and go over the events from a frenetic edition of Monday Night RAW!
The Undertaker returned to challenge his Kane to a match at WrestleMania. The Deadman has consistently refused to fight his younger sibling but after Kane and Ted DiBiase’s actions at the Royal Rumble, The Undertaker has changed his mind. The long-awaited showdown between the two brothers, which has been brewing since Kane first appeared at last year's Survivor Series, will finally take place on March 31st.
The Ultimate Warrior stunned TITAN when he appeared at the end of Phantasio’s magic show and exploded down to the ring to tear through the giant. There was only one thing on the Warrior's mind - retribution for being choke slammed through the ring by TITAN one month ago.
It is WrestleMania season and Raven certainly stepped up tonight. His surprisingly quick victory over the Big Boss Man has not gone unnoticed.
The Lion Harts were victorious in their first outing as a permanent team, but were viciously attacked after the match by a crazed PJ Walker. It appears that Lance Storm’s comments to Walker last week have deeply affected the young man, but perhaps as far as Storm is concerned they had exactly the desired effect.
This is the updated card for WrestleMania XII which is live on pay-per-view on March 31 from the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California:
WWF Championship Ladder Match Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon
Bret "Hitman" Hart vs Scott Steiner
The Undertaker vs Kane
WWF Intercontinental Championship Ludvig Borga vs Crush
Dean Douglas vs Sean Waltman
The world premiere of Goldust
Crush scored a big win over former Intercontinental Champion The British Bulldog as he looks to capture that very title himself at WrestleMania. Crush will sit down with Jim Ross this weekend on Superstars to discuss his match with Ludvig Borga on 31st March. Also on the show, Bam Bam Bigelow faces Jean-Pierre Lafitte in a Lumberjack Match, Sean Waltman is in action, Jesse James and Billy Gunn will team together once again but this time it is without the guidance of Tennessee Lee, and the quartet of Savio Vega, Bob Holly and The New Rockers battle The Flock in an eight man tag team match. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars March 16th, 1996 Corpus Christi, TX Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix.
Tonight's edition of Superstars kicked off with a Lumberjack Match between Bam Bam Bigelow and Jean-Pierre Lafitte. The two previous encounters between these two superstars had both ended in unsatisfying double count-outs, so Commissioner Slaughter booked this bout with the lumberjack stipulation to ensure that doesn't happen again.
[Lumberjack Match]: Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Jean-Pierre Lafitte with the Diving Headbutt in 0:10:09. Rating: ** 1/2 [Rad Radford interfered against Bam Bam Bigelow.]
Jean-Pierre Lafitte raised the ire of Bam Bam Bigelow by coming out wearing Bigelow's ring jacket, the pilfering pirate having stolen the item back in the locker room. Bigelow went straight after Lafitte, stripping him of the jacket and attacking him with forearms and headbutts. When Lafitte tried to get some respite on the outside, the lumberjacks were there to throw him back in. Bigelow took Lafitte down with a shoulderblock and clotheslined him over the top rope. Lafitte shoved the lumberjacks away when they advanced upon him, but Bigelow then suplexed Lafitte back in the hard way. Bigelow missed an avalanche and Lafitte drove the Beast from the East into the mat with a faceslam. Lafitte tied Bigelow in the ropes and delivered two cross-body blocks with Bigelow trapped. Bigelow came back, reversing an Irish whip and hitting a dropkick. Bigelow stepped outside to deliver a slingshot splash, but he was put off by Rad Radford swatting at his leg and the distraction proved costly as he missed the move. Lafitte took advantage with a legdrop, but he found no water in the pool on the Cannonball. After decking Radford, Bigelow hit the diving headbutt for the win.
As Bam Bam Bigelow celebrated in the ring his music was abruptly cut off and Goldust appeared on the big screen.
"The end will come quickly, my love. It is a pain beyond pain, an agony so intense, it shocks the mind into instant oblivion." House of Wax - 1953
Goldust said that in time, the superstars of the WWF will all be shocked, including that blazing cranium - Beast from the East - standing in that ring right now. They will never forget the name of Goldust. The creature of Hollywood then snapped “Exit please!”, at which point the screen shut off and gold glitter began to rain down on Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow was annoyed at the interruption and at being called out.
Vince McMahon announced that Lance Storm has agreed to Chris Jericho’s challenge and The Thrillseekers will explode in two weeks on Monday Night RAW. Footage was then shown of PJ Walker’s vicious attack on the Lion Harts from this past Monday and Vince said that Storm was so impressed with Walker that he has agreed to give PJ a shot at being his new tag team partner this week on RAW.
Jesse James and Billy Gunn defeated Jerry Meade and Alex Porteau when Billy Gunn pinned A. Porteau with the Gunnslinger in 0:04:07. Rating: **
Billy Gunn hasn’t had his hand raised after a match in quite some time but tonight that all changed as he and Jesse James got off to a winning start as a team. Gunn secured the fall, planting Alex Porteau with a swinging side slam called the Gunnslinger.
During the match, a very bitter Tennessee Lee cut a promo on Billy Gunn for turning his back on him and siding with Jesse James. Lee threatened the duo and said he would make them pay.
Backstage, a still infuriated Bam Bam Bigelow was busily wiping the gold glitter from his arms. Bigelow told Todd Pettengill that he doesn’t know who Goldust is – or even what he is – but if he wants to try and shock Bigelow then he will face Goldust any time he likes. Bigelow hoped Sgt Slaughter was listening and told the Commissioner to make it happen.
In a tense sit-down interview, Crush was grilled by Jim Ross ahead of the big Hawaiian’s Intercontinental Championship Match with Ludvig Borga at WrestleMania. A video package was shown documenting Crush’s past history with Borga, going back to their first confrontation back on 8th October 1994, one week after Borga had debuted. Borga pinned Crush at the 1994 Survivor Series, but then The Hellraiser from Helsinki tore his groin on Christmas Eve that same year during the course of a six man tag team match. The rivalry was renewed last year when Borga cost Crush an Intercontinental Championship Match against Lex Luger on the July 24th edition of RAW and although Crush did pin Borga at last year’s Survivor Series, returning the favour from the previous year’s event, Crush acknowledged that they have never had that big blow-off. Crush addressed Borga’s attack this past week on RAW, noting that it didn’t stop him winning the match with the British Bulldog. Crush said that there will be no retaliation, no counterattack, because he is totally focused on winning the gold at WrestleMania. Crush acknowledged that a title win for him is long overdue.
Jim Ross asked Crush why we should believe that WrestleMania will be any different. Ross recapped Crush’s multiple blown opportunities as video rolled of each one – runner up in the Royal Rumble in 1994 and 1995, defeat to Big Van Vader in a number one contenders match on the February 7th 1994 edition of Monday Night RAW, last man eliminated in a battle royal for an Intercontinental Title shot at WrestleMania X. Ross also stated that Crush has been in every King of the Ring tournament but never got anywhere near the final. Ross asked Crush what does he say to people who claim he is a choke artist? Ross said that there are superstars who are destined to fail everytime the pressure is on and are just not cut out to be champions. Maybe Crush is one of them?
Crush got to his feet, knocking over the coffee table that was between him and Ross. Crush admitted that the criticism gets to him and on occasion he has even questioned his own ability. However, the fan support for him has never wavered. They have never questioned him. Crush said that he may not have ever held a title, but in all of his rivalries in the company, with men like Adam Bomb, Barry Windham, Big Van Vader, Lex Luger and Scott Steiner, when the dust has settled and the smoke has cleared, he’s been the last man standing. And Ludvig Borga will fall, just like the others. Crush said that he owes all of his fans around the world a big performance at WrestleMania and he vowed to bring home the belt. Glaring at Ross, Crush said that then all of his detractors could eat crow. Crush angrily tore off his microphone and left.
Sean Waltman pinned Bill Irwin with the Eye Of The Storm in 0:03:43. Rating: **
During the match, Sean Waltman cut an insert promo referencing Mr. Perfect’s admission last week that he is coaching Dean Douglas for the match with Waltman at WrestleMania. Waltman insisted that he doesn’t care who Douglas’ trainer is because Waltman is going to kick his head off. Waltman claimed that he had been waiting for months to get his hands on Douglas and now it is all nice and legal. Douglas can’t hide behind his desk anymore, there is no way he can get out of this one. Waltman said that Douglas’ first official match with the company will be his last. Waltman vowed to beat Perfect next week on Superstars and then beat Douglas at WrestleMania.
With Monday Night RAW once again emanating from San Antonio, Texas this week, a huge Homecoming Celebration has been arranged for WWF Champion Shawn Michaels!
The New Rockers (Leif Cassidy and Marty Jannetty), Bob Holly and Savio Vega defeated The Flock (Man Mountain Rock, Mosh, Rad Radford and Thrasher) when S. Vega pinned Thrasher with the Caribbean Kick in 0:12:23. Rating: *** [Rockin' Robin interfered against Mosh.]
After the match, Raven violently dragged Thrasher out of the ring and threw him down on the floor. Raven glowered up at Savio Vega, who returned the look with an angry glare of his own.
Circuit information: Crush is ready for WrestleMania, there is no doubt about it. Jim Ross levelled some harsh criticism his way about Crush’s repeated failures in championship and number one contender matches, but this only served to fire the Big Hawaiian up. Crush’s list of victims includes some formidable names, including former WWF and Intercontinental Champions, but he would dearly love to vanquish Ludvig Borga and secure his first title in the process.
It’s official – Goldust will face Bam Bam Bigelow in his world premiere at WrestleMania after the bizarre one called out The Beast from The East tonight on Superstars. The Creature of Hollywood joins Dean Douglas and Kane in superstars making their in-ring debuts at this year's event.
We are getting closer and closer to WrestleMania and this week on Monday Night RAW, Ted DiBiase and Kane have been granted interview time to discuss the crimson demon’s match with The Undertaker on March 31st! Plus we have that homecoming celebration for Shawn Michaels, Lance Storm and PJ Walker will team up for the first time, the “Pearl River Powerhouse” Ahmed Johnson will be in action, and Sabu squares off with Waylon Mercy! Till then, so long everybody!!

Monday Night RAW March 18th, 1996 Freeman Coliseum, San Antonio, TX Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Tonight's edition of RAW began with Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan plugging the show. The Brain was excited about Shawn Michaels' Homecoming Celebration, suggesting that it would be bigger than when Muhammad Ali returned to Louisville after he knocked out George Foreman. Heenan also claimed that he had seen Steve Earle outside trying to get a ticket as Vince rolled his eyes.
Lance Storm and PJ Walker came out together for tag team competition against The New Rockers. Storm said that last week PJ had shown him real fire, a killer instinct. He said that he and Walker will take the tag division, pardon the pun, by storm. Storm closed that tonight you will witness the birth of The Impact Players.
The Impact Players (Lance Storm and PJ Walker) defeated The New Rockers (Leif Cassidy and Marty Jannetty) when L. Storm pinned Jannetty after a piledriver in 0:10:37. Rating: ** 1/4
Lance Storm had more to say after the match was over. Storm argued that he had never lost the Tag Team Titles in the first place, therefore he was still the champion and demanded that the Gentleman’s Club come out and return what is rightfully his. Lord Alfred Hayes led his champions, Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley, out from the back. Hayes said that the only reason that Storm wasn’t involved in the title change was because he didn’t have enough guts to fight and had to hide behind a bogus injury. But Hayes added that if it made Storm feel better, his men would happily beat him down now. Regal and Helmsley hit the ring and a brawl broke out. The Lion Harts arrived on the scene for a piece of the action as well, targeting the newly formed Impact Players. Commissioner Slaughter led out a huge security team to restore order and separate the three warring tandems.
Sabu pinned Waylon Mercy with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:05:53. Rating: ** 1/2
A commercial aired promoting The Ultimate Warrior's new comic book, which Vince McMahon claimed would revolutionise the comic book industry. Vince's drooling over some frankly mediocre 90s style artwork was a bit embarrassing. Vince went on to announce that a singles bout between Warrior and TITAN has been signed for WrestleMania.
Comments were then shown from The Ultimate Warrior, who warned TITAN that he will face the Ultimate Challenge at WrestleMania. Warrior said that TITAN has never dealt with anybody with his intensity and his rage. Alluding to his past encounters with Andre the Giant, Warrior said that he had faced a giant much greater than TITAN before and chopped him down to size. Warrior closed with the statement that the power of the warriors is a much bigger giant than TITAN.
Jeff Jarrett made Vin Grier submit to the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:03:43. Rating: * 1/2 [Wynonna interfered against Vin Grier.]
Ted DiBiase and Kane appeared on the video wall and Vince McMahon attempted to interview them about The Undertaker’s return last week, but all The Million Dollar Man wanted to do was rant and rave. DiBiase said that Undertaker’s decision to come back was a big mistake, and he and Kane are furious about it. They claimed they had done The Undertaker a favour by sending him back to the dark side, where he could have rested in peace for eternity with his poor mother and father. But now, DiBiase warned that The Undertaker has stepped right back into an inferno. The Million Dollar Man said that at WrestleMania, The Undertaker will stand in the ring, look at his brother, eye-to-eye, and wrestle him to the finish, and then The Undertaker will go back to the dark side, never to return!
Technical glitches then began to interrupt the video feed. Vince McMahon started to apologise for the transmission problems when the lights flickered around the arena before shutting off completely. After the arena had plunged into darkness, The Undertaker suddenly appeared on the big screen! The Deadman said that at WrestleMania XII, he will strike down upon Kane with great vengeance and furious anger. He will deliver Kane to the fiery pits of eternal damnation. The Undertaker said that Kane will know his name as the Lord of Darkness. He said that he has felt the wrath of his little brother and now Kane is going to feel his wrath. It’s too late to turn back. The only thing that Kane can do now is rest… in… peace!
A lightning bolt shot down from the ceiling and exploded on something at the entrance way. It turned out to be an upright casket containing an effigy of Kane, which had now been set ablaze! DiBiase and Kane then reappeared on the big screen. DiBiase was desperately trying to calm Kane down, but then wheeled out of harm’s way as Kane began to destroy the set!
Commissioner Slaughter announced that this year at WrestleMania they will continue the tradition of the Tag Team Titles being defended in a Triangle Elimination Match, with the Gentleman’s Club of Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley putting the gold on the line against The Lion Harts and The Impact Players.
Ahmed Johnson pinned Rick Martel with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:03:09. Rating: * 1/2
Rick Martel put up a valiant effort but Ahmed Johnson was just too awesome and too powerful that The Model never stood a chance. Bobby Heenan put Ahmed over very strongly on commentary without the usual wisecracks from The Brain. Heenan said that he has never before seen anybody with the intensity of Ahmed Johnson and claimed that Ahmed is the most talked about man in the business right now.
Backstage, Scott Steiner and Tammy Fytch were standing by with Todd Pettengill. Steiner addressed Bret Hart, once again stating that he is going to WrestleMania not to beat Bret but to end his career. Steiner bragged that he is in his prime, he’s the real deal, he’s the greatest athlete in the world today, while The Hitman’s career in the ring is finished. Steiner then handed over to Fytch who had a clipboard in her possession, ready to make some sort of announcement, but she was distracted by the footage of Ahmed Johnson on the monitor. Steiner had to click his fingers in Fytch’s face to get her attention.
Fytch said that as much as Steiner wants to beat up Bret Hart, they are smart business people and they need to take care of all the details first. Fytch wanted Bret Hart to sign a waiver or else there will be no match with Scott Steiner at WrestleMania. Fytch revealed that her documents state that when Steiner cripples Bret, they cannot be held responsible. They do not want to be sued for what Steiner does to Bret Hart. Steiner doubted that when Hart has to finally put pen to paper and make it official, Bret won’t be able to go through with it. Steiner said that after WrestleMania, when Bret Hart is in his wheelchair, The Hitman can put his youngest son Blade in his lap and tell him that Scott Steiner is a real man.
Just then Ahmed Johnson walked past on his way back to the dressing room. Tammy Fytch fluttered her eyelashes in his direction and said "hi", which irked Scott Steiner. Steiner was tired of the attention that Fytch was giving the newcomer and confronted Johnson in a condescending manner. Steiner said that he could use a tune-up for WrestleMania and challenged the “rookie” to face him next week, ignoring Fytch’s pleas to back down. Showing no fear, Johnson calmly told Steiner, “it’s a date”.
Shawn Michaels Homecoming Celebration
WWF Champion Shawn Michaels and his bodyguard Diesel headed to the ring for his grand homecoming. Glamour shots and portraits of Michaels, along with a huge ladder, were set up all around the ring. Michaels did his trademark pose in the centre of the ring and a huge display of pyro went off. Diesel grabbed a microphone and introduced the prodigal son of San Antonio, The Show Stopper, The Main Event, The Man, The Icon, your WWF World Heavyweight Champion, "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels.
A video package aired on the big screen focusing on the highlights of Shawn Michaels' WWF career, culminating in his World Title victory at Survivor Series last year. It was all set to this phenomenal music track:
This whole thing presented Michaels as an unlikable douche bag. Michaels wiped away a pretend tear from his eye and took the mic, informing San Antonio that he is home. The Heartbreak Kid was upset at the mixed reaction he was getting. Michaels turned on his hometown crowd, accusing them of jealously. The WWF Champion said that he should he getting a hero's welcome, because he is the only hero that San Antonio has ever produced. Michaels claimed that he knows how desperate this city has been for a title and he finally brought it home. The egomaniacal Michaels bragged that he is head and shoulders above everybody else in this arena, everybody else in this city, and everybody else in the company, before turning around to Diesel who towered over him. Some fans began laughing at the visual. Michaels ordered Diesel out of the ring and Big Daddy Cool smiled wryly before stepping over the top rope and taking his place in front of the announcers’ desk at ringside.
The Heartbreak Kid climbed the ladder and perched himself on the top rung, continuing his diatribe from this elevated position. Michaels talked about celebrating his world tour as the reigning WWF Champion and said that it would continue as long as he sees fit. The crowd broke into a "Razor" chant, but Michaels laughed and said that last year at WrestleMania, Michaels proved to the world that Razor Ramon is nothing but an elite level world class loser. Michaels said that at this year's event, nothing in the world is going to stop him from climbing this ladder and claiming what is rightfully his. The Heartbreak Kid said that he doesn’t care whether people like it or not, he is going to be WWF Champion for a long, long time and there is nobody who can knock him off his perch. With that, Razor Ramon came out and slid into the ring, then tipped the ladder over! Michaels fell over the top rope and landed at the feet of Diesel, who made no attempt to catch him. Ramon retrieved the WWF Championship belt that Michaels had dropped upon falling and climbed to the top of the ladder to pose with it. Michaels had an extreme fit of anger on the outside, flailing arms and yelling obscenities. He instructed Diesel to get his title, but Ramon tossed the belt at Michaels as more “Razor” chants thundered throughout the arena.
Jeff Jarrett, victorious in his match earlier, closed the show with comments in which he said that on your biggest show of the year, you need your biggest star - "Double J" Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett claimed that he should be competing for the WWF Title at WrestleMania, instead of somebody who looks like he combs his hair with a pork chop, Razor Ramon. Jarrett challenged Ramon to a match next week to show everybody that he is a more worthy contender. The Bad Guy showed up to accept the challenge and the two men got into a heated argument as RAW went off air.
Circuit information: Razor Ramon ruined Shawn Michaels' big homecoming tonight, embarrassing The Heartbreak Kid when he knocked Michaels off a ladder to the floor. Michaels threw yet another tantrum backstage after the show, vowing to make Ramon pay. If Ramon's plan was to throw Michaels off his game with less than two weeks to go before WrestleMania, then it was very much mission accomplished.
The mind games also continued between The Undertaker and Kane, as The Deadman hijacked Ted DiBiase's interview segment. The Undertaker used the broadcast signal intrusion to threaten Kane and then burn an effigy of his brother.
Ever since Ahmed Johnson exploded onto the scene, Tammy Fytch has been borderline obsessed with the Pearl River Powerhouse. Scott Steiner is clearly fed up with the overtures that Fytch has been making towards Ahmed and this led to Steiner challenging Johnson to a match next week on RAW. This will be the biggest test to date in Johnson's short WWF career, but wouldn't it be something if Johnson could upset Steiner just six days before Steiner's showdown with Bret Hart at WrestleMania?
For the third straight year, the WWF Tag Team Titles will be up for grabs in a Triangle Elimination Match at WrestleMania. The three concerned teams - The Gentleman's Club, The Impact Players and The Lion Harts - ran into each other tonight and it broke down into a real pier sixer. Much like the Lion Harts last week, The Impact Players impressed in their first official outing as a team on tonight's show. Chris Jericho and Lance Storm will square off one-on-one next week on RAW in what is shaping up to be a can't miss go-home edition of the show before WrestleMania.
After taking WWF Champion Shawn Michaels to the limit and refusing to back down from Kane in recent weeks, Sabu continues to impress as he made short work of Waylon Mercy tonight. The crowd have really taken to Sabu as of late and the fact that Paul Bearer is nowhere to be seen can only have contributed to this development.
Ultimate Warrior vs TITAN
WWF Intercontinental Championship Ludvig Borga vs Crush
WWF Tag Team Championship Triangle Elimination Match Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs The Lion Harts vs The Impact Players
Dean Douglas vs Sean Waltman
The world premiere of Goldust Goldust vs Bam Bam Bigelow
It's a big weekend coming up on Superstars as Mr Perfect battles Sean Waltman in a grudge match that has been building for the best part of nine months. WWF Tag Team Champions Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley will be in action, as will the duo of Billy Gunn and Jesse James. Plus, "Stunning" Steve Austin will square off with Savio Vega! Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars March 23rd, 1996 Corpus Christi, TX Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Dok Hendrix.Tonight's edition of Superstars opened with a video package promoting the main event between Mr. Perfect and Sean Waltman. Waltman is the living embodiment of the New Generation in the World Wrestling Federation, a new, faster-paced, higher-risk style that fans have been lapping up. But one man who is not so appreciative is Mr. Perfect, who last year started a vendetta against the younger athletes in the company and threatened to teach the flashy, cocky New Generation a lesson. Waltman and Perfect were on opposite sides of a tag team bout at July's In Your House pay-per-view in which Perfect tore his right biceps. To add insult to injury, Waltman pinned Perfect to win the match! Perfect was benched for the remainder of the feud with the New Generation and although his League of Legends group were defeated at Survivor Series, he did gain some payback on Waltman by taking responsibility for his elimination when he drove Waltman into the ring post and Waltman was counted out. The rivalry continued last month when Mr. Perfect joined Dean Douglas in costing Waltman the Intercontinental Championship. Perfect later revealed that he is the man that is training Dean Douglas for his match with Waltman at WrestleMania. Tonight, Sean Waltman is out to settle the score with Mr. Perfect so that he can then focus on getting revenge on Douglas for months of meddling and interference. Before the opening match Vince McMahon announced that on the Free For All before WrestleMania, there will be a Four Corners Match featuring "Stunning" Steve Austin, Savio Vega, Raven and Sabu. The winner of this elimination style match will receive an Intercontinental Title shot the following night on RAW. Two of the participants in this match, Austin and Vega, will clash in our opening contest tonight on Superstars. As Steve Austin made his way out, pre-recorded comments from the Stunning One were shown. Austin said that this year's edition of WrestleMania will go down in history as the last one which does not feature Steve Austin in the main event. Austin said that he is riding the crest of a wave and claimed that very soon he will have the Intercontinental Championship around his waist. Steve Austin and Savio Vega battled to a no-contest in 0:13:06. Rating: ** 3/4The match opened with a slugfest which Savio Vega got the better of with a headbutt and a side suplex. The fight spilled to the floor where Vega wore out Steve Austin with chops. Vega exchanged insults with members of The Flock, who were sat in the front row. Austin worked an opening when he sent Vega shoulder-first in the ring post and then methodically worked the Caribbean superstar's arm. Vega fired back with a well-placed kick to the face and earned a near fall with a high cross body. Vega countered a charge in the corner by almost decapitating Austin with a spin kick. Brian Pillman scrambled onto the apron and as the referee went to deal with Austin's second, he walked straight into the path of a Caribbean Kick from Savio Vega! All hell then broke loose as The Flock hit the ring. Seeking retribution for last week's defeat in the eight man tag team match where Vega scored the winning fall, Raven's group took Savio Vega apart while Raven looked on pleased. Austin joined in on the beating and dropped Vega with the Stunner. Raven then decided to get involved and he instructed Rad Radford to bring in a chair. With the chair placed on the mat, Raven prepared to deliver the Evenflow DDT on the steel. However, before the move could be completed Sabu sprinted down to the ring! Sabu climbed to the top and wiped out The Headbangers and Rad Radford with a flying cross body press. Raven bailed to the outside as Steve Austin ate a springboard leg lariat. Sabu commandeered the chair and smashed Man Mountain Rock with Air Sabu! The crowd were going wild as Sabu took out Austin and The Flock members at ringside with an incredible triple jump plancha! Loud "Sabu" chants reverberated around the arena. “Beware the beast Man, for he is the Devil's pawn.” Phantom of the Apes - 1968 Goldust cut a promo ahead of his match with Bam Bam Bigelow at WrestleMania. Goldust said that the beast man had secured his ticket to the greatest show on earth and that magical mystical night will soon be upon us. The curtain will soon rise, and then Bigelow will have to face the kind of tragedies that he has only ever experienced in his worst nightmares. Goldust told Bigelow that he will remember the name of Goldust. The team of Billy Gunn and Jesse James were in action next. Dok Hendrix revealed that this team are now going by the name "The New Age Outlaws", that's "The Outlaw" Billy Gunn and "Road Dogg" Jesse James. The New Age Outlaws (Billy Gunn and Jesse James) defeated PG-13 (J.C. Ice and Wolfie D) when J. James pinned J.C. Ice with the Back Alley Finale in 0:06:27. Rating: ** 1/4After the match two large gentlemen dressed in sharp suits and sunglasses hit the ring. They removed their jackets and then set about The New Age Outlaws, laying both Billy Gunn and Jesse James out with a couple of double reverse DDTs. Tennessee Lee met the duo at the entrance way with handshakes and a smile a mile wide. Savio Vega cut a promo backstage in which he said that he appreciated the save from Sabu earlier, but at WrestleMania Sabu is one of three guys that we will have to go through to secure his very first title opportunity in the WWF. Vega told Sabu, Steve Austin and Raven to get ready for the fight of their lives! Gentleman's Club (Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Lord Steven Regal) defeated Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy when Regal made M. Hardy submit to the Regal Stretch in 0:04:03. Rating: ** 1/4During the match, Lord Alfred Hayes cut a insert promo complaining about the shabby treatment of the Tag Team Champions, Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Lord Steven Regal, by that imbecile Commissioner Slaughter. Hayes bemoaned the fact that his men must defend the belts in a Triangle Elimination Match at WrestleMania involving two teams - The Lion Harts and The Impact Players - each of whom have only be tagging together for five minutes. Well, Hayes said that Helmsley and Regal have dominated the tag team division for the last six months because they are men of honour and vastly superior to all other wrestlers in the company. At WrestleMania, Hayes growled that The Lion Harts and The Impact Players are in for a damn good thrashing. Vince McMahon announced that the second-ever Tag Team Turmoil Match will take place next weekend on Superstars. Two teams will start and when one is eliminated a new team comes to the ring until all teams have competed, the remaining team is the winner. Vince added that this bout will determine the number one contenders to the Tag Team Titles coming out of WrestleMania. Backstage, Todd Pettengill interviewed Tennessee Lee, who was accompanied by the burly sharp-dressed men who beat down the New Age Outlaws earlier. Lee introduced them as Mark Canterbury and Dennis Knight, together known as Southern Justice. Lee said that he needed a little muscle to help solve his problems, so he went out and hired the best problem solvers out there. Lee added that Canterbury and Knight will demolish anyone who gets in his way, before warning that Billy Gunn and Jesse James only got a little taste of Southern Justice’s boots tonight and there is plenty more where that came from. With that, The New Age Outlaws burst onto the scene and began brawling with Southern Justice. Sean Waltman vs Mr. PerfectThis grudge match was almost nine months in the making and there was barely time to draw breath as Sean Waltman came flying in through the crowd, surprising Mr. Perfect with a high cross body for a near fall! Perfect caught an attempted kick, but Waltman booted him in the face with his other foot. Waltman found the mark with a plancha to the outside and then backdropped Perfect on the floor. The crowd were going absolutely crazy for Waltman! However, the tide turned when Perfect caught Waltman on another attempted dive off the apron and hit a vicious Hotshot onto the guardrail. Back inside, Mr. Perfect cornered Sean Waltman and talked trash, claiming he had been waiting for this for a long time. Perfect used a succession of callous chops and then slapped Waltman across the face. Waltman reversed a whip into the corner and followed in with a dropkick. Waltman set too early on a backdrop though and Perfect responded with a kneelift. Perfect went for a bodyslam, but Waltman slid out and another dropkick sent Perfect out of the ring. Mr. Perfect took time out to think things over outside the ring, smart strategy being employed by the former two-time Intercontinental Champion. Perfect snapped Waltman's neck off the top rope and dropped an elbow. Perfect used an atomic drop and walked across Waltman's throat, drawing a warning from the official. Perfect shot Waltman into the corner with intensity and Waltman rolled to the outside. Perfect went after him, flinging Waltman into the guardrail and muscling Waltman up to drop him across the railing. Waltman kicked out of the resulting pin attempt, then avoided a charge in the corner and hit an inverted atomic drop. Waltman unloaded with ten punches in the corner, but Perfect brought him down with a double-leg takedown and pinned him with his feet on the ropes, but the referee noticed this and stopped the count at two. Perfect complained to the official but when Waltman went after him, Perfect struck with an eye gouge. Perfect executed a snap mare out of the corner, followed by the rolling neck snap. Perfect used another kneelift which set up a beautiful standing dropkick right to Waltman's face. Mr. Perfect was in complete control here. Perfect went for a clothesline but Waltman ducked and caught Perfect with a spin kick! Both men were down and the crowd rallied behind Waltman. Waltman hit a spinning leg lariat, sending Perfect cowering into the corner. Waltman slapped Perfect, a receipt for earlier, and then teed off with a series of roundhouse kicks. Perfect staggered out of the corner and then collapsed on the mat. Waltman went to the top, perhaps for a cannonball dive, but he lost his footing and slipped off the turnbuckle. Perfect mockingly clapped Waltman! Perfect turned his back to laugh at the crowd, but the cocky Perfect got caught with a roll up. 1…2…3!!!! Sean Waltman pinned Mr. Perfect after an inside cradle in 0:16:06. Rating: ****The roof almost blew off for Sean Waltman's win, which came seemingly out of nowhere. Vince McMahon wondered whether the slip by Waltman had been a deliberate ruse to suck Perfect in. Meanwhile, Perfect complained to the referee about a handful of tights. Just then, Dean Douglas hit the ring and jumped Waltman from behind. Douglas and Perfect teamed up to put the boots to Waltman. Savio Vega ran down to make the save and return the favour to Waltman from several weeks ago, but he was cut off before he reached the ring by The Flock! Sabu came out again to help out Vega, but Steve Austin was hot on his heels. Vega, Sabu, Austin and The Flock all fought down the aisle to the back, while the mugging of Sean Waltman continued in the squared circle. Perfect dragged Waltman up and threw him to Douglas, who then executed the Perfect Plex! It seems that Perfect's training is paying off! Perfect raised Douglas' hand to close the show while the devious duo were booed out of the building. Circuit information: Dean Douglas made his first appearance tonight since being informed by Commissioner Slaughter that he will be facing Sean Waltman at WrestleMania XII. Douglas attacked Waltman after Waltman had shocked Mr. Perfect with a quick roll up and showed that he is a very fast learner as he performed his trainer Mr. Perfect's patented manoeuvre - dare we say it - perfectly? What a way to whet the fans' appetite before WrestleMania as Savio Vega, Steve Austin, Sabu and Raven will all collide in a Four Corners Elimination Match on the pre-show Free For All! The superstar who survives this one will get an Intercontinental Title shot the following night on RAW. There is no doubt that these four men are currently at the top of their game. Austin has recorded a string of impressive wins since entering the singles ranks following tag partner Brian Pillman's injury. Savio Vega has earned plaudits for never backing down in his battles with The Flock. Sabu came within an eyelash of dethroning WWF Champion Shawn Michaels last month. And since the former Scotty Flamingo underwent this metamorphosis to Raven, he has become a force to be reckoned with. This quartet could not wait for WrestleMania and were involved in two separate brawls on tonight's show. Tennessee Lee, still seething that Jesse James had convinced Billy Gunn to turn his back on him, issued a warning to Billy Gunn and Jesse James last week. Tonight it was revealed that Lee has employed a couple of southern hired guns in the shape of Southern Justice to do his dirty work. This is the updated card for WrestleMania XII which is live on pay-per-view on March 31 from the Arrowhead Pond in Anaheim, California: WWF Championship Ladder Match Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon
Bret "Hitman" Hart vs "Superstar" Scott Steiner
The Undertaker vs Kane
Ultimate Warrior vs TITAN
WWF Intercontinental Championship Ludvig Borga vs Crush
WWF Tag Team Championship Triangle Elimination Match Lord Steven Regal and Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs The Lion Harts vs The Impact Players
Dean Douglas vs "Lightning" Sean Waltman
The world premiere of Goldust Goldust vs Bam Bam Bigelow
Free For All Four Corners Elimination Match The winner faces the Intercontinental Champion the next night on RAW "Stunning" Steve Austin vs Savio Vega vs Raven vs Sabu
We are bringing you the go-home show to WrestleMania XII this week on Monday Night RAW and it will be a loaded sixty minutes of television! Former tag team partners Chris Jericho and Lance Storm are scheduled to square off one-on-one. Hot new superstar Ahmed Johnson will challenge Scott Steiner. Number one contender to the WWF Championship Razor Ramon will face Jeff Jarrett. Plus who knows what else could happen as we count down to the biggest show of the year? Till then, so long everybody!

Dropped by binge on WWF94 again. Looks like a pretty good lineup for Wrestlemania.
"Back Alley Finale" as a name for Road Dawg's pumphandle slam made me laugh.
Congrats on the Godwins for skipping their pig farming phase.
Owen and Jericho is a pretty interesting team.
Perfect time for Commissioner Slaughter.
Is Jarrett's value Wynonna a real valet repackaged or just random arm candy?

Is Jarrett's value Wynonna a real valet repackaged or just random arm candy? It's Jacqueline. She was supposed to debut in the WWF with this gimmick as Jarrett's manager in 1993. I think she even filmed some vignettes. Really need to get back writing this and finish 'Mania!

WWF Superstars March 25th, 1995Lars and Luca, the Swiss Bobsleigh Team, have quit the company effective immediately. Their manager Alundra remains with the WWF and is expected to be repackaged. You never did repackage Madusa/Alundra, did you?

Really need to get back writing this and finish 'Mania! Any chance of a comeback? Finding the free time to do it is the problem! I have been switching focus to making new exports, but I am determined to get back to this at some point. The last editions of RAW and Superstars before Mania have been drafted for almost two years and I have an outline of the Mania card. Let's see...
