WWF: Vader d. Undertaker, Undertaker takes the belt from Vader at Survivor Series in a casket match, setting up Undertaker v. Bret at WM11. The thing that makes me most think Undertaker wins here is that Michaels has nowhere to go if he's above the IC division but Vader is still champ. Unless he turns face. If 'Taker wins here, though, that would seem like a rather disappointing title run on Vader the monster's part. So maybe 'Taker v. Michaels at the Rumble.
IC: Steiner d. Ramon; Razor is one of my favorites but Steiner's got nowhere to go if he loses this. The IC division is in a weird place right now--Ramon is the only top notch face as Davey Boy and Tatanka are clearly a rung below, but the division has three top heels, two in the same stable, with Steiner and Dynamite plus Mr. Perfect. I think Ramon gets it back at the Rumble.
Tag: Blonds d. Gunns; in real WWF 94-95, sure, Gunns, yay, but in a WWF with Pillman/Austin and Jericho/Storm tandems, no, no Gunns. Thrillseekers save Gunns in a beatdown.
Crush d. Windham, probably the last we see of Barry. Crush lays out DiBiase to boot to end the bounty angle.
Billington d. Davey Boy, this seems so automatic that maybe a swerve is in order. Still, I assume Dynamite wins here, I just don't know where he goes next. I can't remember when Bret is due back, but I'm tempted to think we get Bret over Bad News in a one-off on Raw when he returns in Sept-Nov, then Bret v. Billington at Survivor Series or the Rumble.
Perfect d. Tatanka, yeah, in a world where Perfect can still go, you put Hennig over here. I could see Tatanka winning to give Steiner someone to beat in his first IC title feud.
Owen d. Muta, should be fun.
Jarrett d. Man Mountain, face gets in some shots, Jarrett cheats, match over in four minutes. Please.
Jannetty, Moon & Holly d. Bomb, Bam Bam & Warlord, feel good story of the night.

WWF SUMMERSLAM '94 August 29th, 1994 United Center, Chicago, Illinois Your commentators are Jim Ross and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Jim Ross and Bobby Heenan welcomed viewers tuning in live on pay-per-view and then sent it up to Howard Finkel for the introductions to the opening six man tag team contest.
Adam Bomb, Bam Bam Bigelow and Warlord defeated Marty Jannetty, Max Moon and Bob Holly when Bigelow pinned Jannetty after a slingshot splash in 0:10:03. Rating: ** 3/4 [Harvey Wippleman interfered against Marty Jannetty.]
The seventh annual SummerSlam got off to an entertaining start with this six man tag team match. Harvey Wippleman's crew used their size advantage to dominate their smaller opponents, isolating Bob Holly and doubling and tripling up on him. Holly rolled out of the way from Bam Bam Bigelow's diving headbutt and made a desperation tag to Marty Jannetty. The match soon broke down and all six men began fighting. Warlord missed an avalanche in the corner and Jannetty floored him with a superkick. Jannetty went up top ready to deliver a flying fistdrop, but Harvey Wippleman grabbed Jannetty's ankle! Jannetty dragged Wippleman into the ring, grabbed his nose guard and snapped it back into Wippleman's face! While Wippleman rolled around clutching his face, Adam Bomb attacked Jannetty from behind and planted him with the Atom Smasher! Bigelow followed up with a splash, chalking up the win for his team.
After the match, the Warlord helped Harvey Wippleman to the back, who was complaining that his nose was broken again.
Backstage, Sean Mooney interviewed the Smoking Gunns ahead of their Tag Team Title match with the Hollywood Blonds later in the show. Suddenly, Brian Pillman and Steve Austin arrived on the scene and drove a heavy wheeled equipment box into Bart Gunn's recently injured knee! Billy Gunn tried to fight off the champions, but Austin and Pillman whipped him repeatedly into a concrete wall. The Thrillseekers quickly showed up and ran off the Blonds, but the damage had already been done. Bart was rolling around on the ground in agony clutching his knee, while a dazed Billy checked on his partner.
Tom Billington defeated Davey Boy Smith by disqualification in 0:06:57. Rating: ** 3/4
There was not much wrestling on show as these former tag team partners pounded each other in this super-heated battle. Both men took turns bashing each other's heads off the steel steps and whipping each other into the guardrail. Back in the ring, Davey Boy Smith wailed away on Tom Billington in the corner. The official tried to get in between Davey Boy and Billington, so Smith shoved the referee to the mat. The official had no option but to call for the bell and disqualify Smith.
As Davey Boy Smith complained to the referee, Tom Billington floored him with a vicious clothesline to the back of the head! Billington continued to hammer away with forearm after forearm to the back of Smith's head as Tammy Fytch egged him on. Billington had to be dragged off his former tag team partner by a number of officials.
Backstage, Sean Mooney was standing by with WWF President Jack Tunney. Tunney talked about the match between Mr. Perfect and Tatanka later on the card and said that he had warned the official in the bout to be extra vigilant to Perfect's rulebreaking. He then brought up the sneak attack conducted by the Hollywood Blonds on the Smoking Gunns. Tunney said he had spoken with the doctors and there was no possible way that Bart Gunn could compete tonight. However, before the Blonds could get too smug, Tunney vowed that there will be a Tag Team Title Match tonight.
Great Muta pinned Owen Hart with the Shining Wizard in 0:11:59. Rating: **** 1/4 [Kimona interfered against Owen Hart.]
This match started back and forth until the Great Muta performed an eye rake and then targeted Owen Hart's left leg, attempting to ground the Rocket. Muta applied a single leg Boston crab and the Muta Lock, but Owen refused to quit. Muta tried to end it early and went for the moonsault. The Rocket avoided it, but the cat-like Muta landed on his feet and scored with a spin kick. Muta went for the handspring elbow, but Owen caught him in mid-air and planted him with a German suplex! The Rocket got a near fall with a belly-to-belly and then went for a rana, but Muta countered with a power bomb. Muta again attempted the moonsault, but Owen raised his knees. Owen followed up with a spinwheel kick and called for the Rocket Launcher. With the fans firmly behind him, The Rocket climbed to the top rope but Kimona took the ref. Owen leapt off the top turnbuckle, but Muta spat mist into his eyes on the way down! Muta then connected with a vicious kick to the head on the blinded Rocket and it was all over. The Pearl of the Orient comes out on top in this ultra-athletic scorcher.
Sean Mooney interviewed WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds in their locker room. Steve Austin said that when you try and embarrass the tag team of the 90s, bad things happen, and what happened to Bart Gunn is the perfect example of that. Brian Pillman claimed that they weren't worried who Jack Tunney pulls out of his hat to face them tonight, because they are the WWF Tag Team Champions and will be for a long time to come.
Scott Steiner defeated Razor Ramon via pinfall in 0:13:22. Rating: *** 1/4 (Scott Steiner won the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Tammy Fytch interfered against Razor Ramon.] [Shawn Michaels interfered against Razor Ramon.]
Razor Ramon flicked his toothpick at Tammy Fytch, prompting Scott Steiner to attack him to kick this match off. Steiner targeted Ramon's lower back, punishing the Bad Guy with a bearhug and a rope-assisted abdominal stretch. Razor blocked a hiptoss and chokeslammed Steiner for two. Steiner came back with a beautiful belly-to-belly suplex and a twisting double underhook power bomb. Ramon floated over a Steiner Screwdriver attempt and bulldogged Steiner. The Bad Guy hit an atomic drop, which sent Steiner bouncing off the ropes and into a boot to gut, setting him up for the Razor's Edge. Sensing her man was in danger, Tammy Fytch got onto the apron and Razor confronted her. The official told Fytch to get back down as Steiner hit Ramon from behind. Steiner went for the SSD but Ramon countered with small package. Steiner's shoulders were down for longer than three but the official was still tied up with Tammy. Ramon angrily got back to his feet and went to find the referee, when suddenly Shawn Michaels hit the ring and dropped Ramon with a superkick!! Michaels made a swift exit as Steiner covered Ramon for the three count and the Intercontinental Championship!
Tammy Fytch was overjoyed, grabbing the Intercontinental Championship belt and jumping into new champion Scott Steiner's arms! Meanwhile, Razor Ramon took off down the aisle, on the hunt for Shawn Michaels.
Gene Okerlund conducted a pre-match interview with the Native American, Tatanka. Tatanka drew parallels between his own career and his opponent Mr. Perfect's. They both went on long undefeated streaks at the beginning of their WWF careers. They are both former Intercontinental Champions. But there is one important difference between the two men. Tatanka said he is a proud Native American, who can hold his head high and be proud of all his accomplishments. Mr. Perfect on the other hand has never achieved anything without breaking the rules and playing dirty - distinctly imperfect. Tatanka said that SummerSlam would be anything but a perfect night for Mr. Perfect.
Mr. Perfect pinned Tatanka with the Perfect Plex in 0:11:28. Rating: *** 1/2
Tatanka blindsided Mr. Perfect to start this match early, a case of turnabout being fair play. They fought to the floor where Perfect shoved Tatanka into the post. Perfect went on offence with a dropkick, a neck snap and grabbed a chinlock. The Native American fought out and came back with near falls off a DDT, a flying chop and a powerslam. Perfect went to the eyes out of desperation and then removed one of the turnbuckle pads, but the official admonished him. As Perfect argued with the referee, Tatanka capitalised on the situation and lifted Perfect onto his shoulders for the End of the Trail. Perfect slid down though and with the referee preoccupied with reattaching the turnbuckle pad, Perfect kicked Tatanka low! The nefarious Mr. Perfect followed up with the Perfect Plex as the official quickly abandoned the turnbuckle and counted Tatanka's shoulders down for three!
A dysphoric Tatanka argued with the official as Mr. Perfect celebrated the victory. The Native American snapped and went after Perfect, destroying him with chops and then whipping him into the unprotected turnbuckle! As Perfect recoiled in agony, Tatanka laid him out with the Wykea as the fans cheered!
The cocky and charismatic World Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds messed with the crowd as WWF President Jack Tunney made his way out. Tunney informed the live crowd that due to injuries to Bart Gunn suffered in an ambush by the Blonds, the Smoking Gunns would not be able to compete tonight. However, Tunney had found a suitable team to take the Gunns' place and challenge Brian Pillman and Steve Austin for the titles tonight. Tunney sent out The Thrillseekers to a favourable response from the capacity crowd!
The Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) defeated The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) when S. Austin pinned L. Storm after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:12:41. Rating: *** 3/4 (The Hollywood Blonds retained the WWF World Tag Team Titles.)
Despite their victory over the Hollywood Blonds on Superstars, The Thrillseekers were decided underdogs heading into what was undoubtedly the biggest match of their careers. The young Canadians overwhelmed the Blonds at the outset of this contest, sending the Tag Team Champions to the floor before they even had a chance to remove their belts and robes! Chris Jericho and Lance Storm then wiped out Steve Austin and Brian Pillman with a pair of stereo planchas. The Thrillseekers rolled back in and lifted up the Tag Team Title belts to a huge ovation. When the bout finally got underway officially, Storm and Jericho scored a series of near falls and came within an eyelash of capturing the titles. Austin asked for a handshake on one knee from Storm. Storm obliged, but then kicked Austin in the gut! The Thrillseekers lost their momentum when Jericho missed a cross body. The Blonds went to work on Jericho as Storm desperately tried to make the tag - Austin and Pillman certainly weren't taking the youngsters lightly after the events of just over a week ago on Superstars. Jericho made the hot tag after a double clothesline spot and the Thrillseekers dominated the champions with their high-flying manoeuvres. The challengers connected with the Sudden Impact on Austin, but Pillman just barely made the save and prevented a second title change this evening. Stormed rolled up Austin - the same way the Thrillseekers defeated the Blonds before - but while the ref was with Jericho, Pillman blasted Storm with a clothesline. Austin then rolled through and grabbed a handful of tights for the 1-2-3.
Backstage, Tom Billington and Davey Boy Smith were fighting again.
Stretcher Match: Crush defeated Barry Windham in 0:15:01. Rating: *** 1/4 [Ted DiBiase interfered against Crush.]
This Stretcher Match was every bit as physical and brutal as we predicted, in which the only way to win is to inflict enough punishment on your opponent so they are forced to leave on a stretcher. Crush sent Barry Windham crashing into the steel steps at ringside and then suplexed him on the lower portion of the steps. The Widowmaker struck Crush with the ring bell and dropped him onto the guardrail. Crush had Windham trapped in the Cranium Crunch, but Ted DiBiase broke the hold by striking Crush in the back with a steel chair! Referee Mike Chioda then ejected the Million Dollar Man from ringside! Windham used the chair on Crush's ribs. The Widowmaker wedged the chair between the turnbuckles and attempted to whip Crush into it, but the big Hawaiian reversed and sent Windham head-first into the chair! With the fans solidly behind him, Crush planted Windham with the Kona Crush onto the chair and the unconscious Windham was stretchered out of the arena!
Before the next match began, baseball player Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz was shown on strike in the stands.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Man Mountain Rock when Man Mountain Rock passed out in a figure-four leglock in 0:05:51. Rating: ** 1/2 [The Roadie interfered against Man Mountain Rock.]
Man Mountain Rock, still seething after Jeff Jarrett's attack two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW, attacked Double J as the country music star made his entrance. Rock destroyed Jarrett with power moves and sent him flying out of the ring. Rock effortlessly bounced Double J around ringside and then threw him back inside for further punishment. However, as Jarrett begged the official for a timeout, his roadie snuck up behind Rock and clipped his knee! Smelling blood, Jarrett went right after Man Mountain Rock's weakened knee and was eventually able to lock in the figure-four leglock. Rock was in the hold an awfully long time, but refused to quit or be pinned. When Rock stopped answering, the official stopped the match and awarded the win to Double J.
Backstage, Sean Mooney interviewed Crush in the doctor's room. The Original Hawaiian Punch was holding an ice pack to his ribs and in obvious discomfort following the brutal stretcher match. Crush said that Barry Windham got everything that was coming to him tonight. He then warned that he had a hit list and threatened to start working through it soon.
The Undertaker defeated Big Van Vader by disqualification in 0:10:08. Rating: ** 1/2 (Big Van Vader retained the WWF World Heavyweight Title.) [Harley Race interfered against The Undertaker.] [Paul Bearer interfered against Big Van Vader.]
Paul Bearer was still feeling the effects of the beating he received from Big Van Vader and Harley Race last week, but he accompanied The Undertaker out for this WWF Championship Match. It began as a slugfest, but Vader's blows appeared to have little or no effect on The Undertaker. Vader managed to put 'Taker down a few times with clotheslines, but the Deadman kept sitting up. Undertaker used a slam and a legdrop for a near fall. Vader countered the ropewalk with leverage and hit a low blow. The WWF Champion wore down the Undertaker with a bearhug. Vader's second rope splash was countered into a powerslam by 'Taker. Vader power bombed Undertaker for two. The challenger came back with the ropewalk and a choke slam. The Undertaker signalled for the Tombstone, but Harley Race entered the ring and waffled him from behind, forcing the disqualification.
The fans hated that call from the referee, but Big Van Vader and Harley Race didn't care. They doubled up on The Undertaker, beating him down with kicks and punches. Paul Bearer tried to make the save but Race drilled him with a headbutt! Vader threw the timekeeper to the ground and brought his chair into the ring. Vader struck Undertaker twice across the back, before whipping him into the corner and crushing him with an avalanche. The Mastodon then charged at the Deadman with the steel chair, but Undertaker kicked it back into Vader's face! 'Taker knocked down Harley Race with a boot to the face, before sending Vader out of the ring with a wicked chair shot! Big Van Vader wanted to get back in and fight, but he was prevented from doing so by an army of officials and road agents! While the officials struggled to restrain the WWF Champion, the show drew to a close with a shot of The Undertaker leaping onto Vader and the suits at ringside with a phenomenal running suicide dive over the top rope!!
Card rating: *** 1/4
Circuit information: SummerSlam 1994 will go down in the history books as a show that largely delivered in the ring, but finished on a flat note as The Undertaker failed to capture the WWF Championship from Big Van Vader. Harley Race forced a cheap disqualification when he attacked the Deadman as 'Taker prepared to put away the Mastodon. However, this feud is far from over, as The Undertaker and Vader brawled after the decision and we were left with the incredible sight of the Phenom diving over the top rope onto Vader at ringside! The Undertaker is deathly serious about becoming WWF Champion once again and surely he will get another shot after tonight's unsatisfactory finish.
Scott Steiner is your new Intercontinental Champion after he defeated Razor Ramon this evening, but he owes a huge debt of gratitude to Shawn Michaels. The Heartbreak Kid vowed to make an impact on tonight's show after Jack Tunney refused to book him on the card, and he certainly made his presence felt. Quite what Michaels' motivation was for costing Ramon the title is unclear and the Heartbreak Kid wasn't hanging around to answer questions after the bout.
The Hollywood Blonds brutally assaulted Bart Gunn backstage and reinsured his knee, ruling the Smoking Gunns out of tonight's Tag Team Title Match. Brian Pillman and Steve Austin thought they had the night off, but Jack Tunney threw a spanner in the works by sending the Thrillseekers out to face the champions. Chris Jericho and Lance Storm, the only team to defeat the Blonds in the WWF, couldn't have come any closer of snatching the titles. However, the Blonds escaped with their belts thanks to underhanded tactics.
Tatanka's rotten luck at SummerSlam continues. Last year, he dropped the Intercontinental Title to Bam Bam Bigelow. Tonight, he lost to Mr. Perfect after Perfect low blowed him and then put him away with the Perfect Plex. Tatanka gained a measure of revenge after the match though, planting Perfect with the Wykea.
Crush came out on top in his feud with Barry Windham by emerging victorious in a heated and savage Stretcher Match. The big Hawaiian is now ready to set his sights on other WWF superstars who are on what he has termed his "hit list". We have no idea who Crush has targeted, but we definitely wouldn't want to be in their shoes!
Absolutely nothing was settled in the battle between cousins and former tag team partners Davey Boy Smith and Tom Billington. The two men had to be separated several times backstage during the show. This bitter personal rivalry began with Billington blaming Davey Boy for throwing him overboard when Smith went on his singles career and I fear it will not end until one of these men destroys the other.
Match of the night honours go to Owen Hart and the Great Muta for their fast-paced classic, which was won by Muta after his misted the Rocket and KOed him with a sickening kick to the head. A furious Owen has challenged Muta to an immediate rematch, which is something that every WWF fan would love to see.
Bart Gunn finished up with the company tonight. We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavours.
We hope you enjoyed SummerSlam, but there's no time to rest because we're back this weekend with WWF Superstars! So long, everybody!!

Mostly good PPV. Two DQ finishes and a win via outside interference are a little disappointing for the 2nd biggest show of the year, but the booking logic is reasonable. Wonder if we'll see a Survivor Series match with teams captained by Dynamite and Davey Boy? Bart blew out his knee then quit? Geez. Then again, not sure if that's any worse than being KO'd by Butterbean. Wonder what happens to Billy Gunn now? Maybe he'll go Rockabilly early and team up with Jarrett as a music-themed tag team? Curious to see who is on Crush's hit list.

WWF Superstars September 3rd, 1994 Civic Center, Portland, ME Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
[Dark match]: The Headshrinkers (Fatu and Samu) and Double Trouble (Val Puccio and Tony Puccio) battled to a no contest in 0:00:20. Fatu injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 6 months. Rating: 1/4*
Before the opening match, Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz - who was making his television debut - cut a promo in which he gave his own distorted reasons behind the current Major League Baseball strike. Schwartz said that you can't blame the owners or the ball players, as they are just being good businessmen. He added that if you have to cast blame on anyone, then blame the fans!
Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz made AC Connor submit to the Seventh Inning Stretch in 0:06:47. Rating: ** 1/4
Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz teased and frustrated AC Connor to start, baseball sliding between Connor’s legs and declaring himself safe. Connor walked into a bodyslam and Schwartz celebrated by performing jumping jacks. During the bout, Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler tried to figure out who Schwartz really is - their best guess being Pete Rose. Abe used a stomp to the gut and followed with a suplex, before arguing with the referee and kicking imaginary dirt on him. Schwartz acted like he was going to pitch and then slugged Connor with a big right hand. Schwartz pointed to the lights like Babe Ruth and finished with a seated arm hook sleeper dubbed the "Seventh Inning Stretch".
Vince McMahon attempted to court disgruntled baseball fans after the contest by pushing WWE superstars as the real boys of summer and added that they will never go on strike.
Friar Ferguson pinned Terra Ryzing with the Bible Belt in 0:04:37. Rating: * 1/4
Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler put over the outstanding battle between the Great Muta and Owen Hart at SummerSlam. McMahon excitedly announced that the two men will meet in a rematch this coming week on Monday Night RAW, this time contested under best two out of three falls rules! Vince said that this will be one of the most eagerly anticipated match-ups in RAW history! Comments from Owen Hart were then shown in which he expressed his anger with himself for letting his guard down once at SummerSlam, which allowed Muta to spit mist in his eyes and pick up the win. The Rocket vowed to beat Muta by two straight falls this Monday night!!
Bob Backlund made Matt Hardy submit to an abdominal stretch in 0:06:23. Rating: ** 1/4
Video stills from SummerSlam were shown depicting how Shawn Michaels struck Razor Ramon with a superkick, which resulted in Ramon dropping the Intercontinental Title to Scott Steiner. Pre-recorded comments from Shawn Michaels rolled in which he explained that because the Bad Guy stuck his nose in Michaels' business with the Lightning Kid, Michaels decided to poke his nose in Ramon's business at SummerSlam. The Heartbreak Kid said that Ramon would think twice the next time he wants to get involved in matters that don't concern him. Michaels then turned his attention to the Kid and warned that next week on Superstars, that snot-nosed little punk will pay for embarrassing him on Monday Night RAW several weeks ago.
Scotty Flamingo pinned Mike Freeman with the Point Break in 0:04:32. Rating: * 1/2
Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring interview with the Thrillseekers. McMahon put over Chris Jericho and Lance Storm's tremendous effort at SummerSlam in their Tag Team Title Match against the Hollywood Blonds, which earned the young Canadians a standing ovation. Storm said that they appreciated the fans' applause, but they are more determined than ever to win the titles. Jericho said that they came pretty close to capturing the belts at SummerSlam and promised that next time they'll win the gold. Jericho then challenged the Hollywood Blonds to a rematch for the titles!
Before the next match, Jerry Lawler revealed that he had a very special guest scheduled to appear on the King's Court this Monday night. When pressed by Vince McMahon, Lawler refused to say who it was and said he would have to wait to find out just like everybody else!
Taz pinned Scott Taylor with the Tazplex in 0:02:52. Scott Taylor suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 5 months. Rating: **
Before the match, Gary Hart slapped Scott Taylor in the face - because he knows Taz has his back. Taylor went after Hart and, sure enough, Taz jumped him and clubbed him with crossfaces. Taz dropped Taylor on his neck with the Tazplex for the quick win.
During the match, Gary Hart cut an insert promo in which he referred to Taz as a "One Man Crime Spree" who would dump people on their heads until he had gold around his waist.
Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler closed the show by discussing the WWF Title Match from this past Monday at SummerSlam, which ended in a cheap disqualification finish when Harley Race attacked The Undertaker. McMahon announced that WWF Champion Big Van Vader will be in the house this week on Monday Night Raw and wondered if the Reaper will be there to greet him.
Circuit information: We don't know much about Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz's ball playing skills, but on the evidence of tonight's showing he is a very capable grappler. We do know however that during his career in the baseball leagues he earned the moniker "MVP" - that's "Most Violent Player" - for his actions on the field. WWF Superstars should take note.
Gary Hart wants everyone to believe that Taz is the scariest, most dangerous man on the planet. Scott Taylor will never forget his clash with the One Man Crime Spree tonight as he came away with a seriously messed up neck following a series of vicious suplexes.
No word yet from WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds following the challenge thrown out by the Thrillseekers tonight for a title rematch.
Fatu of the Headshrinkers suffered a very serious injury to his left knee sustained in an untelevised dark match. Early estimates suggest that Fatu will be out of action for up to six months.
We hope you'll join us live for Monday Night RAW this coming week for a packed show. We'll bring you the best two out of three falls bout between Owen Hart and Great Muta. If this contest is even half as good as their classic at SummerSlam then we are in for a treat! Also, Jeff Jarrett will be in action and Jerry Lawler presents an edition of the King's Court in which he has promised a surprise guest. Plus, with WWF Champion Big Van Vader scheduled to appear, surely The Undertaker will not be too far behind?

Of course not: WWF wrestlers can't strike because they don't have a union! As Jeff said, quite the carnage as you're down another tag team for the rest of the year due to injury right after losing 1/2 of the Gunns to injury/quitting. I can't think of a logical situation where Samu and Billy Gun team up however. Maybe Samu will get the singles push Fatu got IRL? I'm actually pretty amused by the Abe Schwartz gimmick. I wonder if you put Steve Lombardi under the paint as it was in real life or if you used somebody else...

Monday Night RAW September 5th, 1994 Lowell, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Tonight's episode of Monday Night RAW started with a highlights package from SummerSlam, featuring Scott Steiner capturing the Intercontinental Championship from Razor Ramon (thanks to Shawn Michaels), Crush outlasting Barry Windham in an intense Stretcher Match, Owen Hart and Gret Muta tearing the house down in a scorching battle and Big Van Vader retaining the WWF Championship with a cheap disqualification loss to The Undertaker. Vader and his manager Harley Race were then shown arriving at the arena, with Vince McMahon informing viewers that he will interview the WWF Champion later on the show.
Two-out-of-three-Falls Match: Owen Hart beat Great Muta 2 falls to 1: x Muta beat O. Hart via an Oklahoma side roll in 0:07:41 x O. Hart beat Muta via a rolling reverse cradle into a bridge in 0:11:53 x O. Hart beat Muta via disqualification in 0:18:18 Rating: *** 1/4 [Victor and Manuel interfered against Owen Hart.]
These two men picked up where they left off at SummerSlam, wrestling at breakneck pace. Owen Hart was unsuccessful with a missile dropkick and Great Muta capitalised with a spinning kick straight to the jaw, following up with a roll-up for the first fall of the match. The Rocket was on level terms four minutes later after Muta missed a dropkick and Owen rolled him up, bridging back to secure the three count. As both men caught their breath in the thirty second rest period before the third and deciding fall, The Arabian Butchers made their way down to ringside. Owen looked concerned as the show went to commercial.
Both superstars pulled out all the stops to try and win the final fall, but the presence of the Arabian Butchers at ringside was throwing Owen Hart off his game. Owen went up top for the Rocket Launcher, but became distracted as the Butchers began to advance. Muta made him pay for his hesitation by taking him down with a superplex, but the Rocket rolled out of the way of The Pearl of the Orient's moonsault. Owen and Muta traded more near falls before The Rocket caught Muta coming off the ropes and planted him with a brutal sitout Tombstone! The match was certainly over but before the official could record the three count, The Arabian Butchers hit the ring and attacked Owen Hart!
The referee had disqualified Great Muta but the action was not finished there. The Arabian Butchers laid out Owen Hart with a double press slam and crushed him with their splash and legdrop combination. With Gary Hart looking on approvingly, the Butchers scraped Owen off the mat and held him in place for a succession of kicks by Muta. Suddenly, Crush came bounding down the aisle with a steel chair! Crush cracked the chair across the backs of Manuel and Victor as Gary Hart and Great Muta bailed out of the ring!! The Butchers tried to enter the ring again but Crush fought them off with the chair. Gary Hart convinced his men to retreat while the Original Hawaiian Punch challenged them to get back in for more!
Jeff Jarrett pinned Barry Horowitz with the Encore in 0:04:14. Rating: ** [Tennessee Lee interfered against Barry Horowitz.]
Jeff Jarrett effortlessly defeated Barry Horowitz tonight with his running DDT. However, just as the contest was drawing to a close, Man Mountain Rock hobbled down to the ring and went after The Roadie! Rock threw the Roadie around ringside until Double J snuck up behind him and kicked him in the back of the knee - the same knee that the Roadie had clipped at SummerSlam. Jarrett and Roadie proceeded to lay a vicious beating on Rock, focussed on Rock's injured knee. Jarrett and Roadie positioned Rock so that they could smash his leg into the ringpost, but before they could complete the dastardly act Tito Santana made the save. Santana, who has had problems with Jarrett in the past, sent Double J and the Roadie packing.
Tito Santana helped Man Mountain Rock to the back during the commercial break.
An excited Jerry "The King" Lawler presented another edition of the King's Court. Familiar music started to play and Rick "The Model" Martel made his way down to the ring! Martel explained that he had taken a sabbatical in Milan in order to live the high life, attend fashion shows and remind the world that he is one of the sexiest men alive. Martel explained that on his time off, he became friends with an Italian model who has the body of an adonis. Martel decided to train this man in the art of professional wrestling and expressed his disbelief at how quickly his new student picked things up. The Model said that this man is now ready to debut as his new tag team partner and then introduced the world to Raphael! This new superstar came down to the ring carrying something in his hand. Martel presented the Federation's newest tag team - The Supermodels - and claimed they would be tag team champions soon!
Backstage, Crush was with Owen Hart as the latter received medical attention. Sean Mooney asked Crush why he had gone after the Arabian Butchers earlier. Crush said that he hadn't forgotten how the Butchers had jumped him prior to the King of the Ring, which resulted in him going into the WWF Title tournament at less than 100%. Crush said that Manuel and Victor are the first names on his hit list and he warned the rest of Black Friday Management to stay out of his way!
Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) defeated Joey Stallings and Barry Hardy when Luca pinned B. Hardy after the Podium Finish in 0:06:40. Rating: * 1/4
Vince McMahon introduced WWF Champion Big Van Vader, along with Harley Race, for an in-ring interview. Vader threatened several fans who held up pro-Undertaker posters on his way to the ring. McMahon asked the two men that following the events of SummerSlam, did they seriously believe that they had seen the last of The Undertaker? Before Race or Vader managed to utter a word, the lights went out and the bell tolled! The roof almost came off the arena as The Undertaker methodically walked down the aisle. Vader came out to meet him and the two superstars brawled on the floor. Vader laid in some rabbit punches and posted the Phenom. The WWF Champion threw the Man from the Darkside back into the ring and went for the Vader Bomb, but 'Taker rolled out of the way. Undertaker came back with a flying clothesline which sent the Mastodon to the outside. It looked like The Undertaker was lining up another dive onto Vader, but Harley Race scuppered those plans with a chair shot to the back. Undertaker no-sold the blow and then decked Race! As the crowd voiced their approval, Undertaker signalled the end for Harley Race!
On the outside, Big Van Vader pulled out a toolbox from under the ring and found a large wrench. The Undertaker grabbed Harley Race around the throat and went for the choke slam, but Vader took out Undertaker's knee with the wrench! With the Deadman down on one knee, the WWF Champion smashed him square in the face with the wrench, silencing the crowd! Race dragged the lifeless body of the Undertaker into position and Vader proceeded to deliver three consecutive Vader Bombs which impacted directly on The Undertaker's face!! Vader was eventually dragged away by officials and road agents as The Undertaker lay motionless on the canvas. Paul Bearer implored The Undertaker to sit up as he raised the urn aloft, but there was no movement from the Deadman. Bearer clutched the urn close to his chest and wailed as the show drew to a close.
Circuit information: We witnessed a scene of complete and utter carnage here tonight on Monday Night RAW as WWF Champion Big Van Vader attempted to crush the face of The Undertaker. Vader struck the Deadman in the face with a heavy metal wrench and then followed up with three Vader Bombs, bringing his 450-pound frame down repeatedly on the Undertaker's damaged body part. We have no update on The Undertaker's condition for you yet, but we can only imagine the unbelievable damage that the Deadman suffered in this inhumane assault.
Crush made it clear that he is coming after the Arabian Butchers, remembering the beating he suffered at their hands back in June. However, surely Crush is risking the wrath of the other members of Black Friday Management by targeting two of their card carrying members?
Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie were intent on shortening Man Mountain Rock's career as they went after the same knee that was injured at SummerSlam. The consequences do not bear thinking about had Jarrett and the Roadie managed to drive Rock's knee into the steel ringpost. Thankfully, Tito Santana was on hand to prevent Rock suffering any further injury - Santana may just have saved Man Mountain Rock's career tonight.
The Supermodels - Rick Martel and the mysterious newcomer Raphael - are the latest team to join the company's swelling tag team ranks. Their first outing as a team will be in two weeks.
Don't missed a jam-packed episode of Superstars this weekend, where Shawn Michaels and the Lightning Kid will finally square off one-on-one! In addition, we'll bring you an interview with "Dynamite" Tom Billington, plus Bam Bam Bigelow, Bad News Brown, The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers and The Thrillseekers will all be in action! We'll hopefully be able to bring you an update on the condition of The Undertaker as well. Till then, so long everybody!!

Little surprised at Muta and Owen having a rematch on RAW right after the PPV (I didn't think that trend started until the Monday Night Wars?) but it was a nice way to bring in Crush.
Wasn't expecting the return of Rick Martel and am rather curious who "Raphael" might be. *uses Search Fu* Oh. Never heard of that before. Clever!

WWF Superstars September 10th, 1994 Civic Center, Portland, ME Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with footage documenting the recent history between The Lightning Kid and Shawn Michaels. Michaels sidelined the Lightning Kid with a neck injury when he piledrove him on the steel steps during the course of their singles match on Monday Night RAW on July 11th. The Heartbreak Kid offered up a bag of twinkies as part of a disingenuous apology three weeks later but with help from Razor Ramon, the Kid ended up doing a number on Michaels and shoved the twinkies in his face! Tonight, Michaels and the Lightning Kid get the opportunity to settle the score!
The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques Rougeau and Raymond Rougeau) defeated Tony DeVito and Paul Van Dale when J. Rougeau pinned P. Van Dale after the Bombe de Rougeau in 0:04:53. Rating: * 1/4
During the match, the Rougeaus cut an insert promo in which they stated their desire to right a few wrongs now that they were back as a team, the first of which being that they have never held the WWF Tag Team Titles. Raymond Rougeau took a shot at the British Bulldogs, adding that you would never see this particular family falling apart.
Bad News Brown pinned Tim McNeany with the Ghetto Blaster in 0:03:38. Rating: * 1/4 (Todd Mata no-showed.)
During the bout, Bad News Brown cut an insert promo in which he questioned whether WWF officials had the guts to book a WWF Championship Match between himself and Big Van Vader.
"Dynamite" Tom Billington came out to the podium for an interview with Gene Okerlund. Billington, who was accompanied as ever by Tammy Fytch, claimed that he was fixed to give Davey Boy Smith the beating of his miserable life at SummerSlam. His version of events were that Smith attacked the referee, thereby saving himself any further punishment from Billington. Billington reacted angrily when Okerlund suggested that it was Billington that was on the receiving end of the beating when Davey Boy snapped and shoved down the ref. Billington yelled that if Smith ever wants another shot at him, Davey Boy will be left broken both mentally and physically!
With that remark, Davey Boy Smith exploded out from the entranceway and tackled Tom Billington on the interview podium. Smith smashed the back of Billington's head repeatedly off the ground until Tammy Fytch got involved and raked Smith's eyes! Davey Boy threw Fytch off but then walked into a stiff forearm from Billington which sent him flying off the podium onto the concrete floor below. Billington jumped onto Smith and the two men traded stiff punches before a ton of referees and suits came out to split up the pair.
Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Duane Gill with the Diving Headbutt in 0:04:04. Rating: *
Gary Hart, who is on location in Europe negotiating a deal with the newest member of Black Friday Management, cut a promo on Crush. Hart warned Crush that you cannot simply single out one or two members of Black Friday Management. If you want to fight one of us, Hart said, then you have to fight all of us!
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated Butch Banks and Chad Miller when Jericho pinned C. Miller after the Sudden Impact in 0:05:20. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match, Vince McMahon grabbed a few words with The Thrillseekers at ringside. Lance Storm revealed that they hadn't heard anything from the Hollywood Blonds and again challenged Brian Pillman and Steve Austin to a Tag Team Title Match. Chris Jericho reiterated his and Storm's desire to one day become WWF Tag Team Champions.
Following the commercial break, Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler discussed Big Van Vader's violent attack on The Undertaker this past week on Monday Night RAW. McMahon said that they were prohibited from showing any footage of the assault as it has been deemed too graphic for TV. Lawler thought that Vader had succeeded in burying The Undertaker six feet under permanently!
Shawn Michaels defeated Lightning Kid by disqualification in 0:14:20. Rating: ** 3/4 [Razor Ramon interfered against Shawn Michaels.]
The action in this match-up was lightning quick - pardon the pun - in the early going. The Lightning Kid began to dominate, punishing Shawn Michaels with kicks and an incredible springboard plancha. The Kid nearly won it with a German suplex which earned a near fall. Outside the squared circle, the Kid sent Michaels into the ringpost and went for a dive off the apron, but the Heartbreak Kid countered with a powerslam on the floor! Michaels began to mount an offence with backbreakers and a superplex. The Lightning Kid fired back with a spinning leg lariat but missed with a flying somersault sexton and Michaels connected with a superkick. The match was seemingly in the bag for Michaels as he drilled the Kid with a piledriver. However, the Heartbreak Kid refused to cover and instead piledrove the Kid again. Michaels was obviously only out to damage the Kid's neck again instead of winning the contest. HBK ignored the warnings from the official and hit a third piledriver. Michaels set up for yet another when suddenly Razor Ramon ran out from the back to an enormous ovation! As the Bad Guy hit the ring, Michaels cast the Kid aside and bailed out of the ring! Michaels hightailed it through the crowd with Ramon in hot pursuit while the official checked on the condition of the Lightning Kid.
Out in the parking lot, Shawn Michaels got in his rental car and sped off before Razor Ramon could catch him. Ramon punched several dents into a nearby dumpster out of sheer frustration as the show went off air!
Circuit information: The bitter and violent feud between Tom Billington and Davey Boy Smith exploded once again tonight on Superstars. Nothing was settled between the warring cousins at SummerSlam and tonight they had to be separated as emotions ran high. With so much ill-feeling between the two men, it is hard to see an end in sight for this grudge.
Razor Ramon is desperate to get his hands on Shawn Michaels after the Heartbreak Kid cost him the Intercontinental Title at SummerSlam. The slippery Michaels managed to evade the Bad Guy tonight and sped off into the night in his getaway car. We're scheduled to hear from the fiery Ramon this week on Monday Night RAW.
It's extremely rude to keep people waiting and the Hollywood Blonds are not renowned for their manners. It has been nearly two weeks since SummerSlam and we are yet to get a response from the Tag Team Champions regarding the Thrillseekers' challenge to a rematch for the titles.
The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers were victorious on their return to the WWF tag team ranks tonight. The Rougeaus' mission statement this time around is clear - win the Tag Team Titles which they failed to capture during their first run.
We are hoping to bring you an update on the condition of The Undertaker this coming week on Monday Night RAW. In addition, Tatanka, The Birdman and the Big Boss Man are all set for action plus, in a singles attraction, Adam Bomb battles Marty Jannetty! Till then, so long everybody!!

Monday Night RAW September 12th, 1994 Lowell, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show opened with comments from Marty Jannetty and Adam Bomb ahead of their feature bout on tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW. Jannetty vowed to diffuse Adam Bomb this evening, while Bomb said he would be a towering inferno tonight and promised to destroy Jannetty on behalf of his manager, Harvey Wippleman.
Adam Bomb pinned Marty Jannetty with the Atom Smasher in 0:09:02. Rating: *** [Harvey Wippleman interfered against Marty Jannetty.] [The Warlord interfered against Marty Jannetty.]
Adam Bomb pinned Marty Jannetty for the second straight time tonight, thanks to interference from The Warlord. The victory was particularly sweet for Wippleman who had his nose broken by Jannetty several months ago. Jannetty avoided a slingshot clothesline and connected with a superkick. Wippleman attempted to distract Jannetty, but Jannetty hit the Rocker Dropper and went for the cover. Bomb got his foot on the rope and then as Wippleman took the ref, The Warlord snapped Jannetty's neck on the top rope. Bomb then followed up with a power bomb and that was all she wrote.
Stills were shown of Big Van Vader's brutal attack on The Undertaker on last week's show. Vince McMahon then revealed that the Deadman suffered a broken orbital bone and a serious concussion following Vader's assault. McMahon couldn't provide any timescale for when The Undertaker would return to action, but said he would interview the WWF Champion Big Van Vader later on the show.
Big Boss Man pinned Who with the Boss Man Slam in 0:03:44. Rating: *
Friar Ferguson hosted another edition of the Sermon. His guest this week was former Intercontinental Champion Razor Ramon, who lost the gold to Scott Steiner at SummerSlam thanks to interference from Shawn Michaels. Ramon announced that he was invoking his rematch clause and he would face Steiner soon. When Ferguson brought up the subject of the Heartbreak Kid, Ramon responded by saying, "First, I'm gonna get my gold back, then Boy Toy, I'm gonna get YOU back!"
Tatanka pinned Terra Ryzing with the End of the Trail in 0:03:57. Rating: * 1/2
Gary Hart cut a promo from Finland, where he was busy completing a deal for Black Friday Management's latest acquisition, Ludvig Borga. Hart put over Borga as one of the toughest men in Europe with a career in show-fighting and boxing. Hart claimed that Borga had left a string of bodies in his wake after Borga defended himself in bar brawls. Hart was confident that Borga could not be defeated and said he would be coming to the WWF very soon.
The Birdman pinned PJ Walker with the One Fell Swoop in 0:06:53. Rating: *
It appeared that on several occasions during this contest that PJ Walker would finally pick up his first victory in the WWF. Walker scored near falls with a backslide, a small package and a sunset flip, but when he went for a flying cross body The Birdman side-stepped. The Birdman made Walker pay for his rookie mistake and put him away with the One Fell Swoop.
After the match, Bob Backlund emerged from the back and applauded the effort of young PJ Walker.
The Beverly Brothers (Beau Beverly and Blake Beverly) defeated Tom Stone and Rock Warner when Beau pinned T. Stone after the Shaker Heights Spike in 0:04:31. Rating: * 1/2 [Tammy Fytch interfered against Tom Stone.]
After another impressive showing by the Beverly Brothers, Tammy Fytch took the mic and addressed the crowd. Fytch acknowledged that there had been several new additions to the WWF tag team roster recently, but the fact remains that the Beverly Brothers are still the best team around.
WWF Champion Big Van Vader and his manager Harley Race came out to the ring for an interview with Vince McMahon. McMahon scolded the duo for their reprehensible actions on last week's show, but Race simply laughed at his face. Race said that last week, they broke the myth of The Undertaker. Big Van Vader disgusted McMahon by claiming that last week he heard The Deadman's bones break and face shatter when he caved The Undertaker's face in! Race screamed into the camera that The Undertaker was now finished and will be gone forever as Vader intimidated the fans around ringside!
Circuit information: Big Van Vader and Harley Race are confident that they have rid the WWF of The Undertaker following last week's sickening assault. But who will be next to step up to the plate and challenge the Mastodon for the WWF Championship? We await a decision on the number one contender to the WWF Title from Jack Tunney's office.
Razor Ramon is determined to recapture the Intercontinental Championship from Scott Steiner and from there The Bad Guy will deal with Shawn Michaels. We can confirm that Jack Tunney has agreed to book this SummerSlam rematch at a date to be announced. Scott Steiner, along with Tammy Fytch, will give their thoughts on next week's show.
Join us this weekend for Superstars, where Taz, Duke Droese and Davey Boy Smith will be in action! Also, The Hollywood Blonds are confirmed to be at the show - will they finally give an answer to The Thrillseekers' challenge of a Tag Team Title rematch? Plus, in our feature contest, Mr Perfect squares off with the mad monk himself, Friar Ferguson! Till then, so long everybody!!

Did Adam Bomb really need interference by Wippleman and Warlord to beat Jannetty? You're making Adam Bomb into such a chump. Ludvig Borga! LOL Barroom brawler tough guy is a better gimmick than eco-terrorist though. I like the slow build on PJ Walker becoming mentored by Bob Backland getting his first win and escaping jobberdom. He was never Incredible but nobody deserved that stupid Aldo Montoya gimmick. Beverly Brothers getting some semblance of a push...but then again you've taken some hits in the tag division lately.

Beverly Brothers getting some semblance of a push...but then again you've taken some hits in the tag division lately. Talking of hits in the tag division, my face side is really weak. Any recommendations for a team to sign from around this period to bolster the good guys? I can only think of Harlem Heat, Men on a Mission and Stars & Stripes.

Some of us have already joked about signing Harlem Heat as The Jamiacan Bobsled Team to fued with the Swiss Bobsled Team. Men On A Mission would I guess be okay. I hate them but they were appropriate for the time period. The Bushwackers!!! Seriously. They were in WWF during this time period. I was going to suggest my old favorites The Road Warriors, but Animal was out of wrestling from about 1992 to 1996 due to a back injury. You could bring in The Hellraisers - Hawk Warrior (Road Warrior Hawk) and Power Warrior (Kensuke Sasaki) - from NJPW for a bit. Where WCW and NJPW business buddies by this point? Then again the Road Warriors had left WWF in late '92 because they were pissed about how stupid the Rocco dummy thing was and didn't come back until 1997. So it may be pushing realism a bit.

I liked Aldo Montoya!
You've got a good amount of upper mid-card guys drifting about on the outside of the IC title picture, don't you? Slap two of them into a tag team, could be a fun ride.

WWF Superstars September 17th, 1994 Civic Center, Portland, ME Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with Max Moon and Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly making their way down to the ring. McMahon revealed that Moon and Holly had enjoyed teaming together so much at SummerSlam that they were going to form a semi-regular team called Space Race.
Space Race (Bob Holly and Max Moon) defeated Todd Baker and Butler Stevens when M. Moon pinned B. Stevens with the Moon Landing in 0:07:22. Rating: **
The new team of Space Race chalked up their first victory tonight on Superstars, using fast paced, high flying manoeuvres to dazzle their opponents.
Vince McMahon invited the WWF Tag Team Champions The Hollywood Blonds down to the ring for an interview. Brian Pillman and Steve Austin explained that they had spent the past few weeks in Hollywood auditioning for various TV and movie roles. McMahon brought up their closely fought match with the Thrillseekers at SummerSlam, but Austin brushed off the effort of Chris Jericho and Lance Storm and said that once again the Blonds had proved that they are the best team in the sport today. McMahon pressed the champions on the Thrillseekers' challenge to a rematch and said that Jericho and Storm deserve one. Pillman rejected the offer, citing the fact that they had beaten them already. The Thrillseekers then came down to the ring to confront the champions. Chris Jericho suggested that either he or Storm face one of the Blonds next week in a singles match, with the Thrillseekers getting their rematch if they are victorious. Pillman and Austin conferred briefly and then Austin said that they would accept on the condition that they get to choose who wrestles who. McMahon was delighted that they had a deal and whipped the crowd into a frenzy about the pending singles bout. Suddenly, the Hollywood Blonds jumped the Thrillseekers from behind, knocking Storm out of the ring! Pillman took the mic and said that next week it will be Steve Austin vs Chris Jericho, before Austin drilled Jericho in the head with one of the championship belts!! Jericho was busted wide open as a result of the belt shot. The Blonds left the ring pleased with their dirty work while McMahon tended to the bloody Jericho.
Duke Droese pinned Red Tyler with the Trash Compactor in 0:03:47. Rating: DUD
During this contest, Duke Droese invited more WWF superstars to challenge for his Hardcore Championship.
Gary Hart cut another promo from Helsinki in Finland. There was a shadow of a large man working out with a punching bag in the background. Hart said that the deal to bring Ludvig Borga to Black Friday Management was signed and sealed. Hart again referenced Borga's amateur boxing prowess, noting that he has never lost an amateur fight. Hart added that Borga wields a super punch of almost 2,000psi and when it connects with any of the superstars of the World Wrestling Federation, they'll never get back up!
Taz pinned Billy Joe Eaton with the Tazplex in 0:02:15. Rating: * 1/2
Another annihilation here tonight from Taz, as the man from Red Hook easily dominated his opponent with some mat wrestling before unloading with some sick suplexes. During the bout, the Big Boss Man cut an insert promo in which he referred to Taz's "One Man Crime Spree" moniker. Boss Man warned that in the WWF, he's here to stop crime.
Poor Billy Joe Eaton had to be helped from the ring following the beating from Taz.
Back from the break and Afa led his New Headshrinkers to the ring. Vince McMahon revealed that Afa had recruited another family member - Sionne - to replace Fatu in the team. Sionne, who competed in wrestling boots, appeared to be more civilised than any other Samoan we had ever seen in the WWF.
The New Headshrinkers (Sionne and Samu) defeated Tom O'Sullivan and Richie Rich when Sionne pinned T. O'Sullivan after a kick to the head in 0:05:04. Rating: 3/4*
The big powerhouse Sionne certainly made an impression on his first night in, scoring the win for his team by almost decapitating Tom O'Sullivan with a vicious kick to the face!
Davey Boy Smith, set for singles competition tonight, made his entrance to a tremendous ovation from the crowd. All of a sudden, Smith was ambushed by Tom Billington in the aisle, who ran him into the steel steps! Billington mounted Smith and peppered him with a succession of stiff punches. Smith managed to throw Billington off and tackled him into the guardrail. Security were quickly on the scene to break up the fight, but the crowd wanted to see them go! Smith and Billington continued to try and get a shot in on each other, when WWF President Jack Tunney appeared and demanded that the two men stop fighting. Tunney said that this situation between the two cannot go on and warned that if there is any physicality outside of a sanctioned match, they will both be suspended indefinitely!! Billington and Smith glared at each other as the show went to commercial.
Mr. Perfect pinned Friar Ferguson after an inside cradle in 0:07:56. Rating: **
Mr. Perfect walked into a hiptoss and a couple of bodyslams from Friar Ferguson in the early going, sending Perfect outside to regroup. Perfect took over on the mad monk with a sleeperhold and then foolishly went for a bodyslam which nearly resulted in a win for Ferguson! Ferguson missed an avalanche in the corner and Perfect rolled him up, grabbing a handful of the monk's robe for the three count!
Circuit information: The stage is set for next week on Superstars. If Steve Austin loses to Chris Jericho, that guarantees a return match for The Thrillseekers to challenge for the Tag Team Titles. However, the Hollywood Blonds gained the upper hand this evening as Austin struck Jericho with a wicked belt shot leaving the young Canadian a bloody mess.
WWF President Jack Tunney took drastic action here tonight to deal with the situation between Davey Boy Smith and Tom Billington, and not before time. If either man lays a finger on the other outside of a legally sanctioned match, their contract will be terminated!
Afa has recruited Sionne to fill in for the injured Fatu in the Headshrinkers team and Sionne is quite different compared to Fatu and Samu. You might even say that Sionne is more "barbaric" than the other family members.
Gary Hart is excited at the prospect of "The Hellraiser from Helsinki" Ludvig Borga debuting in the WWF. Rumour has it that Borga's punch is like getting hit with a sledgehammer!
We hope you'll join us this week for Monday Night RAW, where we'll bring you a huge tag team match in which Man Mountain Rock and Jeff Jarrett will continue their grudge as Rock teams with Tito Santana to face the duo of Jarrett and The Roadie! Also, the Supermodels will debut as a team and we'll bring you an interview with Intercontinental Champion Scott Steiner! Till then, so long everybody!!

Monday Night RAW September 19th, 1994 Lowell, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
This week's edition of Monday Night Raw opened with a promo from Man Mountain Rock, who expressed his thanks to Tito Santana for coming to his aid two weeks ago during a mugging by Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie. Rock vowed to squeeze Jarrett by the throat so hard that he will never be able to sing another note!
Man Mountain Rock and Tito Santana waited in the ring for their opponents as Tennessee Lee and The Roadie appeared sans Jeff Jarrett. Lee explained that Double J is not here tonight, but in Memphis doing the media rounds promoting his latest hit single! Rock was furious. Tennessee Lee continued that he had a replacement - the roughest, toughest, meanest man in the WWF - Billy Gunn! As Gunn came out from the back doing what could loosely be described as dancing, Lee said that he had made Gunn an offer he couldn't refuse to join Tennessee Lee Promotions. The fans were upset at Billy Gunn's change of attitude.
Billy Gunn and The Roadie defeated Man Mountain Rock and Tito Santana when Billy Gunn pinned Santana with the Flying Legdrop in 0:10:48. Rating: ** 3/4 (Jeff Jarrett no-showed.)
Man Mountain Rock was livid at the no-show by Jeff Jarrett and it was Billy Gunn and The Roadie who bore the brunt of his frustration. However, Tennessee Lee Promotions would emerge victorious and it was Billy Gunn who scored the fall. The Roadie tackled Tito Santana by the legs and held him down as Gunn delivered a flying legdrop to the back of the head for the pinfall!
Vince McMahon announced that Tatanka will face Bad News Brown next week in a singles contest to determine the number one contender to the WWF Championship, currently in the possession of Big Van Vader.
The Berzerker pinned Barry Hardy after a kick to the head in 0:01:42. Rating: -1/4*
The Berzerker displayed signs tonight that he is learning from his association with Friar Ferguson. The Berzerker sent Barry Hardy over the top rope with a big boot but instead of settling for the count out win, the Berzerker threw Hardy back in and pinned him.
Backstage, Bob Backlund approached PJ Walker in the dressing room. Backlund said he had studied the youngster's recent performances and been impressed with what he had seen. Backlund offered to take Walker under his wing and mentor him, suggesting that with his help Walker could become one of the all-time greats in the WWF. Backlund left Walker daydreaming of one day becoming WWF Champion.
Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz made Jason Knight submit to the Seventh Inning Stretch in 0:04:46. Rating: * 1/4
Paul Bearer cut a promo on Big Van Vader and Harley Race regarding the injuries suffered by The Undertaker. Bearer warned that their souls will be spend an eternity in hell!
The Supermodels - Rick Martel and Raphael - strutted out from the back where they were greeted by the paparazzi. Martel and Raphael struck poses for the photographers as they made their way down the aisle. Raphael had the same object in his hand that was remarked on two weeks ago.
The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael) defeated Steve King and Mark Marachio when Martel pinned M. Marachio after the Catwalk Slam in 0:06:53. Rating: *
The object Raphael had in his hand was a mask which he donned before the match started. He then would work around not trying to get hit in the face, making it apparent that the mask was not some attempt to conceal his identity but rather to prevent his face from taking any possible damage. This was a squash that ended with the two Supermodels hitting the "Catwalk Slam" onto Mark Marachio, an impressive double suplex slam.
Lightning Kid pinned Tony Roy with the Lightning Bolt in 0:03:25. Rating: *
The Lightning Kid was victorious here tonight but was still showing the effects of his recent neck injury after the bout.
Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan hyped up the singles match this coming week on Superstars between Chris Jericho and Steve Austin. If Jericho wins, he and Lance Storm will get another shot at The Hollywood Blonds' Tag Team Titles. The announcers were interrupted by Mr. Perfect phoning in to the show. Perfect was irate that Tatanka was booked in a number one contenders match and not him. Perfect vowed to show up to Superstars to make his feelings known in person before hanging up!
WWF Intercontinental Champion Scott Steiner made his way down to the ring for an interview with Gene Okerlund. Steiner was accompanied as always by Tammy Fytch, who was looking extremely pleased with herself. Fytch fawned over the new Intercontinental Champion, before turning on everybody who dismissed her as a silly little girl. Fytch put herself over as a talented and ruthless businesswoman who had guided Steiner to a singles championship. She said that Fytch Wrestling Enterprises would become the most powerful group in the WWF. Okerlund brought up Steiner's pending rematch with former champion Razor Ramon. Steiner said that he wasn't worried - he'd beaten Ramon at the King of the Ring and again at SummerSlam, so it won't be a problem to drop him directly on his greasy head with the SSD and beat him again! Okerlund suggested that it may be a different story this time as the rematch between Steiner and Ramon, which will take place in two weeks, will be contested inside the confines of a 15-foot high steel cage!! Steiner and Fytch exploded with rage at the shocking news, which was greeted with approval from the crowd! Okerlund revealed that WWF President Jack Tunney made this decision in order to prevent interference from outside forces!! Fytch screeched about another conspiracy as Monday Night RAW due to a close!
Circuit information: Normally, steel cage matches are necessary to keep two competitors inside. However, WWF President Jack Tunney has decreed that the Intercontinental Title rematch between Scott Steiner and Razor Ramon should take place inside the blue bars to prevent anyone from outside getting involved. Tunney is obviously concerned at the prospect of Shawn Michaels interfering again in a match between these two men after he cost the Bad Guy the title at SummerSlam. Steiner and Fytch are not happy about this development to say the least, but it is the chance for Steiner to really make a statement if he can defeat Ramon by himself.
Tennessee Lee has recruited another man to his stable, none other than Billy Gunn. Lee has stated that from this point forward, he wants Gunn to be referred only by his new moniker, Rockabilly. It was a timely move by Lee after Jeff Jarrett decided not to show up to Monday Night RAW tonight. We have been assured that Double J will be fined heavily for missing the show but it is doubtful that this will appease Man Mountain Rock, who is desperate to get his hands on Jarrett again.
The Supermodels picked up an easy win in their tag team debut tonight and the big Italian Raphael certainly appears to have all the tools to go far in the WWF. But what an obsessively narcissistic attitude this guy has. He wears a mask when he competes not to conceal his face or identity, but rather to protect his face from scarring or bruising during matches.
It's going to be a massive weekend on Superstars as Chris Jericho and Steve Austin will do battle in a singles match, with the stipulation that if Jericho is victorious the Thrillseekers will get a rematch with the Hollywood Blonds for the Tag Team Titles! Plus, Crush, Bam Bam Bigelow and Owen Hart are all set for action in a jam-packed show! Till then, so long everybody!

LOL @ the protective mask by Raphael.
The early Rockabilly turn is fine. But now we have Tenneesee Lee with a full-blown stable to go along with Fytch's heel stable, Gary Hart's heel stable, and Wippleman's heel stable. Feels like heel stable overkill.

Thanks to Double J's no-show, I had to bring Rockabilly in early than planned. Guess that's what happens when TNM throws you a curveball! Raphael's character is based on the Street Fighter II character Vega. The man behind the gimmick is Tom "Salvatore Sincere/Johnny Gunn" Brandi. But now we have Tenneesee Lee with a full-blown stable to go along with Fytch's heel stable, Gary Hart's heel stable, and Wippleman's heel stable. Not for much longer...
