Monday Night RAW December 19th, 1994 Liberty, NY Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
The show opened with a video recapping the recent events between WWF Champion The Undertaker and The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. DiBiase has been harbouring a dark secret from The Undertaker's past for a long, long time and has threatened to reveal it to the world tonight on Monday Night RAW! How will The Undertaker respond to the threat from Ted DiBiase?
The scene then cut to outside the arena, where Todd Pettengill caught up with a frantic Paul Bearer. Pettengill was full of questions, asking what Ted DiBiase could know and what could be in the past, but Bearer was distracted. Bearer revealed that The Undertaker had not yet shown up to the arena! Bearer warned Ted DiBiase that if he reveals the secret tonight, the Million Dollar Man will open up Pandora's Box! Bearer desperately implored The Undertaker to arrive soon.
Number-One-Contenders-Match: The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated The Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) when Jericho defeated Austin via pinfall in 0:20:42. Rating: **** [Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge interfered against Steve Austin.] [Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge interfered against Brian Pillman.]
This was the latest chapter in the storied rivalry between The Hollywood Blonds and The Thrillseekers and this time a WWF Tag Team Title shot against the Beverly Brothers at the Royal Rumble was at stake. Both teams were evenly matched throughout with neither duo managing to get the advantage for long. WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers, along with their manager Tammy Fytch, were shown several times watching proceedings in the back. Steve Austin pulled the official in the way of a missile dropkick from Chris Jericho, wiping out the man in stripes. Brian Pillman took advantage and tossed a steel chair to his partner. However, before any damage could be done Public Enemy made their way down to ringside. Brian Pillman attempted to confront Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge at ringside, but they took Pillman out with a double hiptoss! Austin then got involved in a tug-of-war over the steel chair with Public Enemy, who were on the floor. Public Enemy suddenly released their grip on the chair, which smacked back into Austin's face knocking him silly! Jericho then scrambled over and covered Austin just as the referee began to stir! The official slowly counted to three as Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge kept their eyes on Brian Pillman, securing a title shot for the Thrillseekers at the Royal Rumble!
The fans were delighted with the outcome of this match-up. Public Enemy also looked more than a little pleased with themselves after their night's work.
Mr. Perfect pinned Nick Barberry with the Perfect Plex in 0:04:59. Rating: ** 1/2
Backstage, Sean Mooney conducted an interview with Public Enemy. Mooney asked why Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge decided to get involved in the number one contenders match earlier. Rocco said that they couldn't sit back and let a miscarriage of justice go down tonight when they saw Steve Austin try and use that chair. Grunge noted that Austin and Brian Pillman are prepared to take any kind of shortcut to get ahead and they meet punks like that all the time on the streets of Philly. Suddenly, the Hollywood Blonds burst onto the scene and jumped Public Enemy! The two teams brawled on the ground trading punches and kicks until it was broken up.
Friar Ferguson pinned Mark Starr with the Bible Belt in 0:05:36. Rating: -*
Backstage, a beaming Million Dollar Man was getting ready for his match. The interruption from Todd Pettengill couldn't even dampen Ted DiBiase's spirits. DiBiase reiterated his claim that dead or alive, everybody has a price for the Million Dollar Man! DiBiase said that it was almost time for the whole world to hear The Undertaker's secret and with a few words, DiBiase was going to do what no giant could do, what no warrior could do and what no immortal could do - bring The Undertaker to his knees!
Footage was shown from last week's I Quit Match, where Bret Hart decimated his great rival Bad News Brown. Vince McMahon announced that on next week's show, The Hitman will appear on the King's Court to discuss his participation in the Royal Rumble.
Ted DiBiase pinned Chris Kanyon with the Million Dollar Buster in 0:06:12. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match, Ted DiBiase took the microphone and cackled evilly. The Million Dollar Man credited himself with the making of the Undertaker, the person who helped him become the champion that he is today. But DiBiase now claimed that he is the man that can break The Undertaker with the secret that he is about to reveal. Paul Bearer interrupted proceedings and said that it wasn't the time to do this. DiBiase disagreed, but Bearer begged the Million Dollar Man not to reveal the secret. DiBiase said that he doesn't owe Bearer or The Undertaker anything and will not wait any longer. Growing desperate, Bearer said that he will do anything for DiBiase to keep quiet. DiBiase thought this over and promised to keep the secret under wraps if he can get a WWF Title shot at the Royal Rumble. Bearer immediately agreed to the match without hesitation, as long as he had DiBiase's word that the secret would remain unsaid forever. DiBiase stated that it would, before sending Paul Bearer off to inform The Undertaker that his days as WWF Champion are numbered!
Circuit information: Ted DiBiase has succeeded in blackmailing Paul Bearer into securing a shot at the WWF Championship against The Undertaker at the Royal Rumble. DiBiase had threatened to spill the beans tonight, but relented when Bearer agreed to a title shot. The Million Dollar Man appears to have got what he wanted for now - and he didn't even have to spend a penny.
Public Enemy were not about to stand idly by and allow the Hollywood Blonds use a steel chair in their number one contenders match with the Thrillseekers tonight. They ended up getting involved in an altercation with Steve Austin and Brian Pillman which led to the latter duo losing the bout. The Blonds were already unpopular with Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge after jumping the Mack Daddies of Hardcore following their WWF debut. This rivalry is certainly beginning to heat up.
Following their victory, The Thrillseekers have earned a rematch with the Beverly Brothers at the Royal Rumble for the titles they dropped to Beau and Blake three weeks ago. How will things turn out this time when Jericho and Storm are fighting fit and raring to go?
We hope you'll join us this weekend on Superstars where we are bringing you a huge six man tag team match as the Black Friday Management contingent of Ludvig Borga and the Arabian Butchers battle the trio of Crush, Owen Hart and Marty Jannetty! Plus, the British Bulldog returns to action and the team of Bob Backlund and PJ Walker are also scheduled. Till then, so long everybody!

Looks like we won't find out the secret until after the RR match. It's nice to see DiBiase get one last shot at the World Title. I would actually be pretty pleased if DiBiase were to come out on top, but I doubt it happens here.
I wonder if the secret has anything to do with Kane? He was wrestling at this time, and it's possible he could debut a couple of years early.

TPE-Blondes fued is sort of funny since Austin and Pillman both had brief ECW stints IRL. I smell a match at Royal Rumble and it should be a fun brawl.

WWF Superstars December 24th, 1994 Mid-Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, NY Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with the announcers hyping up the huge six man tag team main event which will see the team of Crush, Owen Hart and Marty Jannetty go up against the Black Friday Management contingent of Ludvig Borga and the Arabian Butchers! Vince McMahon also revealed that the British Bulldog will return to action tonight one month removed from that intense, high-energy steel cage match at Survivor Series.
Bob Backlund and PJ Walker defeated The Executioners (Executioner #1 and Executioner #2) when Backlund pinned Executioner #1 after a rolling cradle in 0:06:39. Rating: ** 1/2
During this bout, Bob Backlund cut an insert promo about how it has always been his dream to win gold at WrestleMania. Now that he is approaching the twilight of his career, Backlund said that he is more determined than ever to win the Royal Rumble and go on to headline the biggest show of the year.
Backstage, Sean Mooney interviewed the unlikely partnership of Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka. Tatanka had come to Bigelow's aid last week and saved him from a severe beating at the hands of Adam Bomb and the Warlord. As a consequence, Tatanka and Bigelow will meet Harvey Wippleman's duo on next week's show. Bigelow said that he and Tatanka had put aside their differences and agreed to work together for the common goal of defeating Wippleman's cronies. The Native American admitted that they have no choice but to place their trust in one another and he was confident of success. Bigelow and Tatanka then shook hands.
The British Bulldog was set to return to the ring in the next match-up. Will he show any effects from that hellacious cage match one month ago?
British Bulldog pinned Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz with the Running Powerslam in 0:07:47. Rating: ** 1/4
The British Bulldog did not skip a beat on his return to action this evening. Bulldog was victorious when Abe "Knuckleball" Schwartz missed a dive off the ropes and Bulldog planted him with a powerslam.
Sean Mooney caught up with the British Bulldog at ringside after the match to ask him what his future plans in the WWF are. Bulldog was coy in his response, but did reveal that he would be watching the pending Intercontinental Championship Match between Scott Steiner and the Lightning Kid with interest.
The shocking footage from Monday Night RAW was shown in which Ted DiBiase blackmailed Paul Bearer into granting him a WWF Title shot against the Undertaker at the Royal Rumble. DiBiase has become one of the most despised men in the company for forcing his way into title picture like this. Jerry Lawler brought up the fact that The Undertaker did not show up last Monday and wondered just how terrible the secret must be if the WWF Champion could not bear to show his face! Vince McMahon revealed that the Man from the Darkside is scheduled for action this week on Monday Night RAW and questioned if he will be there to comment on the circumstances surrounding himself, Ted DiBiase and this mysterious dark secret.
Scotty Flamingo pinned Bob Knight with the Point Break in 0:04:15. Rating: * 1/4
Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler previewed this week's edition of Monday Night RAW, in which Bret "Hitman" Hart will be the guest in the King's Court. Lawler said that he had heard on the grapevine that there is a conspiracy in the locker room where superstars are planning to gang up and eliminate Bret Hart from Royal Rumble! McMahon admitted that the Hitman must be considered the favourite, if there are favourites in the Rumble.
Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty and Crush defeated Black Friday Management (Ludvig Borga, Manuel and Victor) when Crush pinned Manuel after the Hawaiian Smasher in 0:15:23. Ludvig Borga suffered a torn groin. He will be out for approximately 5 months. Rating: *** 3/4 [Kimona interfered against Owen Hart.]
Ludvig Borga appeared to suffer a nasty leg injury midway through this contest and spent the remainder of the bout on the apron. Towards the end, Owen Hart and Marty Jannetty sent Borga crashing to the floor with a double dropkick, before Crush put away one of the Arabian Butchers with the Hawaiian Smasher.
Black Friday Management skulked back to the dressing room to lick their wounds, leaving Crush, Owen Hart and Marty Jannetty to enjoy their win. Crush did seem a little dissatisfied that Ludvig Borga got off lightly tonight on Superstars.
Vince McMahon closed the show by wishing WWF fans all around the globe a happy festive season.
Circuit information: The big news coming out of tonight's episode of Superstars is that Ludvig Borga suffered a serious injury. The Hellraiser from Helsinki was diagnosed with a torn groin and is expected to miss a serious amount of ring time. This was a terrible night for Black Friday Management because not only did they suffer defeat, but Borga will also miss the Royal Rumble on January 22. Gary Hart is furious that Borga has been denied the chance to compete for the WWF Championship at WrestleMania.
Without doubt it will be a must-see edition of Monday Night RAW this week as WWF Champion The Undertaker is set to compete. But with the awful secret hanging over him, will the Deadman show up this time or will he miss the show once again? Bret Hart will appear on the King's Court, plus Razor Ramon, Taz and Public Enemy are all scheduled for action! Till then, so long everybody!!

Ah, The Executioners: Barry Hardy and Duane Gill jobbing their hearts out. Conspiracy against Bret Hart? LOL Bad injury for Borga as he'll be missing Rumble and Wrestlemania and we possibly get no blowoff to the big Crush-Borga fued. Methinks BFM will sorely miss him, though it could be a chance for Taz to step it up into a bigger role. Doesn't look good for the longterm health of BFM though. "Crush did seem a little dissatisfied that Ludvig Borga got off lightly tonight on Superstars." He probably though otherwise when he heard the diagnosis for Borga's injury. When is Luger expected to return from injury? If he's returning soon, he might nicely fill Borga's role in BFM if needed...

Monday Night RAW December 26th, 1994 Liberty, NY Your commentators are Vince McMahon, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
The show opened with the return of "Macho Man" Randy Savage to the commentary desk. Savage addressed his recent defeat to the Great Muta and put over the Pearl of the Orient as a tremendous athlete. However, Savage challenged Muta to meet him again and see how things turn out next time!
The scene cut abruptly to the parking lot where Public Enemy and the Hollywood Blonds were going at it! Rocco Rock hiptossed Steve Austin onto the hood of a car, while Brian Pillman reversed a whip and sent Johnny Grunge hard into the side of a dumpster! The fight was soon broken up while Vince McMahon noted that Public Enemy are scheduled for a match tonight!
Razor Ramon pinned Mike Khoury with the Razor's Edge in 0:03:57. Rating: *
After Razor Ramon made short work of Mike Khoury, Todd Pettengill caught up with the Bad Guy at ringside. Ramon officially confirmed his participation in the Royal Rumble and then addressed his bitter rival Shawn Michaels. The Bad Guy said that if by some miracle the Heartbreak Kid makes it to Rumble in one piece, he will hunt Michaels down in the 30-man bout!
As Razor Ramon returned to the dressing room, Vince McMahon announced that Shawn Michaels will be in action next week on Monday Night RAW against the Big Boss Man!
A vignette aired promoting the debut of one of the most unpredictable athletes in the world today, Sabu! He'll use chairs, he'll use tables, he'll use anything that isn't nailed down and he doesn't care about his own personal safety when he's punishing opponents! Sabu is homicidal, genocidal and suicidal - and he's coming to the World Wrestling Federation!
Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) defeated Swiss Bobsleigh Team (Lars and Luca) when Rocco Rock defeated Luca by disqualification in 0:05:07. Lars suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 12 months. Rating: * 1/2 [Brian Pillman interfered against Rocco Rock.]
Public Enemy were on course for victory here when they drilled Luca with the Drive By, but then the Hollywood Blonds made their presence felt. Brian Pillman broke the pin attempt and then the Blonds began their assault on Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge.
With the fans firmly behind them, Public Enemy returned fire on the former Tag Team Champions and the brawl spilled out onto the floor. The fight continued into the commercial break, with officials and road agents struggling to restore order.
Taz made Rich Myers submit to the Tazmission in 0:03:58. Rating: * 3/4
Todd Pettengill presented the first Royal Rumble report, in which Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Razor Ramon, Crush, Tatanka, The Berzerker, Friar Ferguson, Bob Backlund and PJ Walker were all confirmed for the 30-man Royal Rumble match. A riled up Harley Race then cut a promo on president Jack Tunney and all WWF officials for daring to suspend his man Big Van Vader. Race said that Vader is like a caged animal and claimed to have never seen the Mastodon this angry before. Race revealed that Vader's 60 day suspension expires the night of the Royal Rumble, which is very bad news for the 29 other men competing in that match. On that night Race vowed to unleash Vader and 29 other WWF superstars will feel the wrath of the Mastodon!
Rockabilly pinned Jeff Hardy with the Rockabilly Boogie in 0:05:28. Rating: **
Bret "Hitman" Hart was the special guest on this week's edition of the King's Court. Hart said that after thrashing Bad News Brown and ridding the company of him forever, he is now ready to begin his quest of reclaiming the WWF Championship. The first step to achieve that, Hart said, is to win the Royal Rumble on January 22nd. Jerry Lawler stirred the pot by saying that there is a conspiracy in the locker room to gang up and eliminate Bret Hart from Royal Rumble!
Before the Hitman could address The King's comments, he was interrupted by none other than Jeff Jarrett and Tennessee Lee. Jarrett accused Bret Hart of embarrassing him at the Survivor Series, when the Hitman eliminated Double J from their match. Jarrett said that the Hitman made his big comeback from injury at the country music singer's expense, which did not sit well with Jarrett. Double J warned that nobody makes a name at the expense of the world's greatest singer, the world's greatest entertainer and the world's greatest wrestler. The Hitman grew tired of Jarrett's blowharding, saying that he is free in two weeks and invited Double J to try and prove that he's the world's greatest wrestler against the best there is, best there was and best there ever will be! The crowd popped and Jarrett accepted the challenge, vowing to make a name for himself at the expense of the Hitman!
The Undertaker pinned Terra Ryzing with the Tombstone in 0:05:17. Rating: * 1/2
After the match, Vince McMahon met The Undertaker in the ring and asked him for an explanation for last week's events. The WWF Champion started by apologising to his creatures for no-showing last week and admitted that he was in a bad place mentally. The Deadman said that Paul Bearer did the right thing last week and thanked his manager for protecting him. Undertaker stated that this situation with Ted DiBiase is simple, yet complicated. It is all about blackmail and the WWF Championship Match at the Royal Rumble was offered to Ted DiBiase to protect the ones that The Undertaker loves, not himself. The Man From The Darkside stated that sometimes in life we are forced to make decisions that we do not want to, but we have to. The Undertaker said that he loathes DiBiase for what the Million Dollar Man is forcing him to do and hoped that the ones that love him will be able to forgive what he must do. The WWF Champion finished by saying that at the Royal Rumble, he will make a deal with the devil himself to make sure DiBiase burns in eternity!!
Circuit information: Strong words tonight from WWF Champion The Undertaker, who expressed his shame at having to bow to blackmail from The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. We can only speculate on what kind of secret DiBiase is holding over The Undertaker's head in order to blackmail him, but it is making the Deadman absolutely miserable and he is determined to extract all the revenge he can from DiBiase at the Royal Rumble.
We learned tonight that Jeff Jarrett's elimination at the hands of the returning Bret "Hitman" Hart at Survivor Series was difficult for the country music superstar to accept. Jarrett then proceeded to agree to a challenge from the Hitman to a singles bout. This match-up is scheduled to take place in two weeks on Monday Night RAW. Hart has looked more aggressive recently as he steps up his pursuit of the WWF Championship he surrendered in May, but Double J feels he has a major point to prove against the Excellence of Execution.
Harley Race's announcement tonight that Big Van Vader returns at the Royal Rumble has shaken the Federation to its very foundations! Vader was enraged at losing the WWF Title at Survivor Series and then being hit with a sixty day suspension. You can be sure that the Mastodon is to ready to vent all his frustration and I feel very sorry for whoever is in the ring when Vader's number is called on January 22.
A fight broke out in the parking lot before we came on air between The Hollywood Blonds and Public Enemy and continued after the Blonds got involved in Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge's match with the Swiss Bobsleigh Team. This feud is threatening to spiral out of control, with company officials at their wits' end at how to contain it.
Lars of the Swiss Bobsleigh Team suffered a severe neck injury during the bout with Public Enemy tonight. Lars, who was knocked unconscious, was diagnosed with a compressed spine. After regaining consciousness, Lars couldn't feel or move anything until he was in the ambulance. He is expected to miss around a year of ring time and we wish him a speedy recovery.
We hope you'll join us this weekend for Superstars where the Great Muta and WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverley Brothers are scheduled for action! The Lightning Kid will be appearing on Talkin' Trash with The Dumpster ahead of his Intercontinental Title Match next week with Scott Steiner plus, in the main event, the unlikely combination of Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka battle Adam Bomb and The Warlord! Till then, so long everybody!!

Sabu, eh? More ECW influx...
Goodbye, Swiss Bobsled Team. Like your tag division needed another hit. I guess we'll never get the epic Swiss Bobsled Team vs Jamaican Bobsled Team (Harlem Heat, with horrible accents) that some of us were hoping for...
Royal Rumble = VADER TIME! I could see Vader winning to set up a guaranteed rematch with Undertaker at Wrestlemania. But if not, it could be a big career boost for whoever eliminates him.
Weird promo from Undertaker talking about people he loves. A deal with the devil to get rid of Dibiase for good? Hmmm. Very curious to see how this all pans out.

WWF Superstars December 31st, 1994 Mid-Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, NY Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Vince McMahon opened tonight's show by wishing the fans a happy and prosperous New Year!
As WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers made their way out for the opening match of the show, footage was shown of The Thrillseekers' victory over the Hollywood Blonds two weeks ago on Monday Night RAW. The win for Chris Jericho and Lance Storm has earned them a match with the Beverlys for the titles at the Royal Rumble, where they aim to regain the belts that they held for a matter of days back in November.
The Beverly Brothers (Beau Beverly and Blake Beverly) defeated Mike Bell and Nick Barberry when Blake pinned M. Bell after the Shaker Heights Spike in 0:06:33. Rating: ** 1/2
During the match, WWF Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers cut an insert promo in which they insisted that they aren't worried about the challenge of the Thrillseekers at the Royal Rumble. Beau made light of Chris Jericho and Lance Storm's title win at Survivor Series, claiming that all they did was win a climbing contest. Tammy Fytch was sick of all the attention that the Thrillseekers get considering that they are only a second-rate team. She closed the promo by saying that Canada sucks!
Repo Man made Buck Quartermaine submit to the Crowbar in 0:05:56. Rating: -1/4*
A recap of Harley Race's warning that Big Van Vader returns from suspension at the Royal Rumble was followed by a video package of the Mastodon. The piece focussed on the wanton destruction and carnage that Vader has been responsible for since joining the World Wrestling Federation, putting over the former WWF champion as a monster!
Great Muta pinned John Paul with the Moonsault Press in 0:06:42. Rating: * 1/4
During the bout, Gary Hart cut an insert promo in which he revealed the extent of the injury suffered by Ludvig Borga last week. Hart said that Hellraiser from Helsinki has torn his groin and will not return to action until the summer. Hart laid the blame for the injury at Crush's door and warned that for this transgression the Original Hawaiian Punch will experience the full wrath of Black Friday Management.
Jerry Lawler revealed that Crush will be his guest on the King's Court this week on Monday Night RAW and wondered if Gary Hart's men may strike then? Vince McMahon pondered that with the past history between Crush and Lawler, was the King setting Crush up? Of course Lawler strenuously denied the accusation!
The Birdman pinned Skinner with the One Fell Swoop in 0:08:48. Rating: ** 3/4 (Mike Moraldo no-showed.)
On Talkin' Trash with The Dumpster, Duke Droese interviewed the Lightning Kid ahead of his Intercontinental Title Match with Scott Steiner next week on Monday Night RAW. The Kid said that he has done so much growing up over the past year and a half that he is no longer a kid, but is now a man. He added that as such, he wants to be known by his real name, Sean Waltman. Waltman said that we would kick off the new year with a new champion when he defeats Scott Steiner for the Intercontinental Title on Monday Night RAW!
Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka defeated Adam Bomb and Warlord when Bigelow defeated Warlord by disqualification in 0:07:18. Rating: * 1/4 [Harvey Wippleman interfered against Bam Bam Bigelow.]
The unlikely combination of Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka were set to claim their first victory as a team when the Native American laid out the Warlord with the End of the Trail and Bigelow followed up with his diving headbutt. However, Harvey Wippleman pulled the referee out of the ring as he was about to record the pinfall and Wippleman's men were disqualified.
Bam Bam Bigelow left the ring to go after Harvey Wippleman. As Wippleman begged for his life, Adam Bomb struck Bigelow with two wicked chair shots! Tatanka tried to make the save, but the Warlord grabbed him from behind and held him in place for Bomb to stab him in the gut with the chair! The Creation of Devastation then laid out the Native American with a hard chair shot to the back! Wippleman and his charges stood over the battered bodies of Bigelow and Tatanka and celebrated as the show went off air!
Circuit information: Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka looked good as they teamed up for the first time tonight, but they were robbed of victory when Harvey Wippleman interfered in their bout with Adam Bomb and the Warlord. It is certainly not going to be easy for Bigelow to get his hands on the crafty Wippleman.
Gary Hart warned Crush tonight that Black Friday Management will be gunning for him in the Royal Rumble match. Hart is blaming Crush for injuring Ludvig Borga, ruling the Hellraiser from Helsinki out of the Royal Rumble and thereby costing him the chance to compete for the WWF Championship at WrestleMania. Hart wants to give Crush a taste of his own medicine by sending his men after Crush in the Rumble and preventing him from winning the bout. We'll hear what the big Hawaiian thinks about this when he appears in the King's Court on Monday Night RAW.
The dropping of his Lightning Kid moniker is an indication that Sean Waltman wants to be taken seriously heading into the biggest match of his career against Scott Steiner this week on Monday Night RAW. And Waltman is deadly serious about defeating Steiner for the Intercontinental Championship. But surely recording a third straight victory over Steiner is too much to ask of Waltman? Remember that anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation!!
Make sure you tune in this Monday night to see if Sean Waltman in his successful in his quest to become the new Intercontinental Champion! Plus, on the first edition of Monday Night RAW of the new year, Shawn Michaels will go one-on-one with the Big Boss Man! Till then, so long everybody!

I like the move to Sean Waltman. It makes it a lot easier to believe he's a more formidable threat this way, not that I think he's going to be the one to dethrone Scott Steiner.

Monday Night RAW January 2nd, 1995 Liberty, NY Your commentators are Vince McMahon, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
This week's edition of Monday Night RAW began with footage of Sean Waltman's two previous victories over WWF Intercontinental Champion Scott Steiner. Can Lightning strike for a third time tonight and will Waltman become the new Intercontinental Champion?
Scott Steiner pinned Sean Waltman with the SSD in 0:14:17. Rating: **** (Scott Steiner retained the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Tammy Fytch interfered against Sean Waltman.]
Scott Steiner worked over Sean Waltman with power manoeuvres in the early going, but Waltman came back and almost gave Tammy Fytch a heart attack with a near fall after connecting with a cross body. Steiner rocked Waltman with a clothesline and a Gorilla press. Waltman used a roll up but Steiner powered out at two. The challenger spin kicked Steiner into a corner, but after Fytch caused a distraction Steiner drilled Waltman with a double underhook overhead suplex for a two count. The champion dropped Waltman throat-first across the top rope and punished him with two consecutive backbreakers. Steiner signalled for the finish and went for the SSD, but Waltman slid down Steiner's back and used a sunset flip pin attempt for another near fall. Waltman hit a standing spin kick and went for the Lightning Bolt, but Steiner caught him in mid-air and drove him hard into the turnbuckles! Steiner then hit the SSD to retain his title.
The referee checked on Sean Waltman and the condition of his neck after this battle, but Scott Steiner shoved the official down and continued to go after Waltman. Steiner blasted Waltman with a succession of blows to the back of the neck, before dumping Waltman dangerously on the back of his head with a release German suplex! Tammy Fytch slid a steel chair into the ring and ordered Steiner to finish Waltman off once and for all. Steiner laid the chair down on the mat and prepared to drill Waltman with the SSD onto the chair, when thankfully the British Bulldog hit the ring! Bulldog got the better of an exchange of punches with the Intercontinental Champion and then clotheslined Steiner out of the ring! Steiner thought better of returning to the squared circle when Bulldog seized possession of the chair. Fytch convinced her man to retreat back down the aisle, but she had a microphone with her.
Tammy Fytch screamed at the British Bulldog that she thought she was through with him at Survivor Series and would never have to see him again, but he is still sticking his nose into her business and making her life miserable! Fytch said she was sick of looking at his fat head and begged for Bulldog to tell her what he wants so he'll be out of her life forever. Bulldog responded that all he wants is a shot at the Intercontinental Title. Scott Steiner snapped and wanted the fight right now, but Fytch stopped him and whispered in his ear. After a brief consultation, Fytch agreed that Steiner will defend the Intercontinental Title against the British Bulldog at the Royal Rumble. However, Fytch added that Bulldog will only get one shot and one shot only at the title as long as Steiner is the champion. Bulldog accepted the terms, claiming that one shot at the gold is all he needs to become the new Intercontinental Champion!
Todd Pettengill presented another Royal Rumble report, in which a tag team contest between the Hollywood Blonds and Public Enemy was confirmed for the show. The feud between these two teams had certainly been heating up as of late. More names were confirmed for the Royal Rumble match, including the Great Muta, Taz, Big Boss Man, Bam Bam Bigelow, Adam Bomb, Jeff Jarrett and Rockabilly. Comments then aired from Man Mountain Rock, who revealed that he will be returning from his knee injury in the Rumble match and will be on the hunt for Tennessee Lee Promotions!
Bob Backlund and PJ Walker defeated Bob Knight and Cory Student when Backlund defeated Student when Student passed out in the Cross-Face Chicken Wing in 0:06:28. Rating: *
Crush was the guest this week in the King's Court with Jerry Lawler. You could feel the tension between the two men due to their past history. Lawler brought up the threats from Gary Hart directed at Crush as of late, but Crush brushed them off and revelled in the fact that he had broken Ludvig Borga. The big Hawaiian warned that if Borga ever decides to hobble his way back, Crush will finish him off permanently!
Crush then stated that with it being the new year, he has made some resolutions for 1995. He said that his first new year resolution is to win the Royal Rumble, which was met with cheers of approval. That led nicely to his second resolution, which is to win championship gold. Crush vowed to do this when he defeats the WWF Champion at WrestleMania XI. Crush acknowledged that Big Van Vader returns to action at the Rumble and brought up his elimination from last year's event at the hands of the Mastodon. Crush said that as a consequence, Vader is next on his hit list and his third and final resolution is to eliminate Big Van Vader from the Royal Rumble!
As Jerry Lawler gave Crush no chance of achieving that feat, Harley Race made his way out from the back, mic in hand. Race claimed that Big Van Vader is chomping at the bit to return to the ring and the worst thing Crush can do is antagonise him. Race said that the Royal Rumble is the ideal event for Vader to return so that he can lay waste to all around him. Race said he would book the rest of the hospital wing which Gene Okerlund is currently lying in for the 29 superstars that Vader is going to cripple on 22nd January, but promised to reserve the best bed for Crush! Crush felt like giving Race a small preview of what will happen when he and Vader collide in the Royal Rumble. With that, Crush grabbed Jerry Lawler and pressed him over his head! Crush then launched Lawler over the top rope and onto Race at ringside, wiping out Vader's manager! The crowd were going wild for Crush, who promised to do exactly the same to Vader at the Royal Rumble!
Shawn Michaels pinned Big Boss Man after an inside cradle in 0:10:52. Big Boss Man suffered a torn groin. He will be out for approximately 4 months. Rating: *
The pendulum swung in this contest when the Big Boss Man tried to guillotine Shawn Michaels on the middle rope but missed. Michaels took it to the former corrections officer with a beautiful standing dropkick. Boss Man countered the Teardrop Suplex with a punch to the face and followed up with an uppercut and a back elbow. The momentum was with the Big Boss Man, but he missed an avalanche in the corner and The Heartbreak Kid rolled him up with a handful of tights for the three count!
Shawn Michaels had the temerity to celebrate his tainted victory over the Big Boss Man, while the former corrections officer complained to the official about the pull of the tights. Michaels then blindsided Boss Man with a superkick as the Boss Man was in conversation with the referee, knocking the Boss Man out of the ring to the floor. Michaels took the microphone and acknowledged the recent threats directed at him by Razor Ramon. The Heartbreak Kid once again stated that he was through with Ramon and never wants to see him again. Michaels advised the Bad Guy to move on with his life.
With that, Razor Ramon burst through the entrance curtain as the crowd came unglued! The fans were desperate to see the Bad Guy finally get his hands on Shawn Michaels. Michaels resembled a deer stuck in the headlights and did not know where to turn as Ramon entered the ring. Ramon stalked Michaels around the squared circle before Michaels dropped to the mat and rolled to the outside. Razor chased Michaels around the ring, but the Heartbreak Kid stumbled and tripped over an electrical cable and he was left at the Bad Guy's mercy! Michaels got back to his feet and backed away from Ramon, begging pathetically for his life. Suddenly, the Big Boss Man grabbed hold of Michaels' wrist and handcuffed him to the ringpost! The crowd were eating this up as Michaels now truly had nowhere to go and Ramon had him right where he wanted him! Boss Man shook hands with Razor and told him to have fun before exiting the scene. Michaels pulled at the cuffs for all he was worth to try and free himself while Ramon prepared to enjoy every punch that he was about to dish out!
Liz attempted to come to her man's aid by jumping on Razor Ramon's back and clawing at his eyes, but Ramon threw her to the floor. The look on Ramon's face was enough to send a petrified Liz back to the dressing room. Ramon turned his attention back to the trapped Shawn Michaels and reared back his fist. Suddenly, a huge man dressed all in black hopped the guardrail and clobbered Ramon from behind. The man, who looked to be nearly seven feet tall, threw Ramon into the ringsteps hard. Michaels could not believe his luck as the man freed him from his predicament by snapping the handcuff chain! The man then dumped Razor into the ring and laid him out with a vicious power bomb! Vince McMahon yelled for security to come out and escort this man from the ring, while Michaels seized the opportunity to pepper the downed Bad Guy with a succession of punches! Officials and road agents were soon on the scene, but this mystery man intimidated anybody that dared get near him. The giant stranger left the ring with Shawn Michaels, while Ramon was helped to the back. Razor Ramon is denied yet again at getting his hands on the Heartbreak Kid!
Circuit information: Just who is this giant that intervened and saved Shawn Michaels when it appeared that Razor Ramon would finally get his hands on The Heartbreak Kid? Michaels is going to make us wait to find out as he, Liz and the mystery man left the arena straight after the show, keen to vacate the premises before the Bad Guy could catch up with them.
Scott Steiner turned back a strong challenge from Sean Waltman tonight and retained his Intercontinental Title, but the post-match attack was completely uncalled for. Thankfully, the British Bulldog came out to make the save and ended up securing a shot at Steiner's title at the Royal Rumble. Tammy Fytch made sure that Bulldog's title shot is a one-time deal, but Davey Boy is confident that he will capture the Intercontinental Championship for the second time on January 22.
Crush is a marked man in the Royal Rumble. Not only is he being targeted by members of Black Friday Management, now an already raging Big Van Vader will be out to avenge tonight's attack on Harley Race. But Crush will relish a showdown with the Mastodon in the Rumble match and a chance to even the score for his elimination at last year's event.
Here's how the card is shaping up for the Royal Rumble, which we'll bring to you live on pay-per-view from the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida on January 22!!
WWF Championship Match The Undertaker vs Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase
WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Scott Steiner vs British Bulldog
WWF Tag Team Championship Match The Beverly Brothers vs The Thrillseekers
The Hollywood Blonds vs Public Enemy
30-Man Royal Rumble Match Winners gets a WWF Championship shot at WrestleMania XI!
The curse of the torn groin strikes again! The same injury that Ludvig Borga succumbed to will rule the Big Boss Man out for around four months. His spot in the Royal Rumble will go to Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly.
Speaking of the two-sport superstar, he and Max Moon are in action this weekend on Superstars against the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. Both teams hold a victory over the other, so who will come out on top in this rivalry? Also, following the events of last week's show, Tatanka will square off against Adam Bomb. The Thrillseekers, who will challenge for the Tag Team Titles at the Royal Rumble, will also be competing and the Supermodels have a message for the Headshrinkers! Till then, so long everybody!

I recall you saying you weren't a fan of Diesel and weren't planning to bring him in to your WWF, but it sure would seem like he just debuted after all...
...unless we're being swerved. A quick Wikipedia check tells me Paul Wight debuted as a mystery man in WCW in early 1995 and is 7 feet tall so there's at least one reasonable alternative.

WWF Superstars January 7th, 1995 Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, DE Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
This week's show began with footage from the two previous meetings between Space Race and the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. On the pre-Survivor Series edition of Monday Night RAW, Space Race eliminated the Rougeaus from an eight team tag match when Bob Holly pinned Raymond with a flying cross body press. The Rougeaus got their revenge on the December 17th edition of Superstars when they bent the rules to defeat Holly and Max Moon. Tonight, the two teams clash again in the deciding match to settle the score!
After the opening titles, Todd Pettengill interviewed Space Race ahead of tonight's rubber match with the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. Max Moon had other things on his mind though and was demanding to know why his partner Bob Holly was replacing the injured Big Boss Man in the Royal Rumble instead of him. Moon complained that he had been with the company for two years and was struggling to gain respect, while Holly has been here for five minutes and is getting more opportunities. Holly understood Moon's frustration but tried to appease his partner by suggesting that they may be considered for a Tag Team Title shot if they defeat the Rougeaus. Moon was more concerned about Holly taking it easy tonight to save himself for the Rumble. These comments angered Holly, who said that he never gives less than 100% every time he steps in the ring. Holly headed off to the squared circle, leaving Moon shaking his head.
The Fabulous Rougeau Brothers (Jacques Rougeau and Raymond Rougeau) defeated Space Race (Bob Holly and Max Moon) when J. Rougeau pinned B. Holly after the Bombe de Rougeau in 0:09:44. Rating: ** 3/4
No dissension was evident between the members of Space Race in this hard fought battle with the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. Max Moon attempted to put away Raymond with a twisting bodypress from the top rope, but Jacques pushed his brother out of harm's way and Moon hit the mat hard. Moon immediately rolled out of the ring clutching his knee as the Rougeaus doubled up on Bob Holly. The Rougeaus executed the Bombe de Rougeau on Holly as Moon recovered at ringside and leapt onto the ring apron. Moon looked set to break the pin but then appeared to have second thoughts and started to favour his knee again. The crowd jeered as Jacques Rougeau scored the pin with Moon looking on.
After the match, Max Moon attempted to explain that the reason he could not make the save for Bob Holly was because his knee was hurt. Moon limped around at ringside to emphasise the injury, but Holly looked sceptical.
Damien DeMento pinned Walt Snow with the Schizophrenic in 0:05:28. Rating: DUD
It was time for another edition of Talkin' Trash with The Dumpster. Before introducing this week's guests, Duke Droese was delighted to announce that he is cleared to return from injury at the Royal Rumble. Droese said that he is used to taking trash cans and trash bags off the street and throwing them into the back of the garbage truck, so all that practice will serve him well when he is throwing bodies out of the ring in the Rumble match!
Droese's guests this week were two of his fellow participants in the Royal Rumble, Owen Hart and Marty Jannetty. The Dumpster acknowledged the duo's friendship with Crush - they were all teammates at Survivor Series and will team again next week in an eight man tag team match. Droese said that Crush is considered to be one of the favourites to win the Rumble match and asked both Owen and Jannetty if they would be prepared to eliminate their friend for their own shot at glory. Both Owen and Jannetty agreed that it is every man for himself in the Royal Rumble and friendships will be set aside that Sunday. They confirmed that they and Crush are cool with that. Droese then brought up the fact that Bret "Hitman" Hart is also in the Royal Rumble and asked Owen Hart if he would throw his own brother, his own flesh and blood, over the top rope if he stood in his way during the match. Owen admitted that he would have absolutely no problem doing that to a mixed reaction.
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated Butch Long and Jason Ahrndt when Jericho pinned J. Ahrndt after the Sudden Impact in 0:06:00. Rating: **
During the match, The Thrillseekers cut an insert promo in which they reiterated their desire to recapture the Tag Team Titles from the Beverly Brothers at the Royal Rumble.
Another vignette aired promoting the debut of Sabu. This video package was centred around his dazzling array of aerial manoeuvres, some of which simply defy description. Sabu was described as the most dangerous athlete on the face of the planet today.
The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael) defeated Reno Riggins and Adam Croom when Martel pinned A. Croom after the Fashion Victim in 0:04:25. Rating: * 1/2
During the bout, the Supermodels cut an insert promo. Rick Martel acknowledged that those filthy smelly savages The Headshrinkers are not in the arena tonight, but are scheduled for action next week. Martel promised that he and Raphael will confront the Headshrinkers next week and issue a special challenge in person!
Tatanka defeated Adam Bomb by disqualification in 0:09:14. Rating: *** 1/4 [The Warlord interfered against Tatanka.]
Tatanka no-sold the blows from Adam Bomb and started his war dance, before taking apart the Creation of Devastation with a series of Tomahawk chops. The Warlord clambered onto the apron, but Tatanka took him down with a dropkick. The Native American let out a war cry and drilled Bomb with the End of the Trail, but the Warlord broke the resulting pin attempt for the DQ.
Adam Bomb and The Warlord went to work on Tatanka after the bell, as Harvey Wippleman looked on with delight. Suddenly, Bam Bam Bigelow stormed the ring armed with a steel chair looking for retribution from last week's show. Wippleman's men quickly scarpered without a scratch as Bigelow checked on Tatanka. The Beast from the East took the mic and warned that Adam Bomb could run tonight, but if Bigelow catches up with him in the Royal Rumble then there will be nowhere to run!
Circuit information: The dispute between Bam Bam Bigelow and Adam Bomb continued tonight in the aftermath of Bomb's match with Tatanka. Both the Beast from the East and the Creation of Devastation are scheduled to enter the Royal Rumble and sparks could fly if these two behemoths cross paths on January 22!
Max Moon did not take the news well that he is not one of the participants in the Royal Rumble, yet his tag team partner Bob Holly is. Instead of being supportive of Holly, Moon was extremely bitter and was not shy about venting his feelings before their bout with the Fabulous Rougeau Brothers. Can the team of Space Race recover from this bone of contention?

Monday Night RAW January 9th, 1995 The Summit, Houston, TX Your commentators are Vince McMahon, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.
Tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW began with highlights from the confrontation between Bret Hart and Jeff Jarrett on the King's Court, in which The Hitman challenged Jarrett to meet him one-on-one. These two superstars will square off in tonight's main event!
Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker defeated The Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) when Ferguson defeated Pillman by countout in 0:07:21. Rating: ** 1/2
The Hollywood Blonds were in control of this tag team bout and were setting up Friar Ferguson for the Brush with Greatness until Public Enemy appeared at the entrance way. Brian Pillman and Steve Austin immediately forgot about the match in hand and left the ring, choosing instead to attack Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge! The Blonds were counted out, but they were more concerned with getting the jump on their opponents at the Royal Rumble.
The Hollywood Blonds and Public Enemy brawled around ringside. Johnny Grunge reached over the guardrail and grabbed a trash can, which he dented over Steve Austin's head! Rocco Rock snapped a broom across Brian Pillman's back and then produced a can of spraypaint! The crowd voiced their approval as Public Enemy prepared to tag Austin, but Pillman broke it up by smashing a trash can lid over the heads of Public Enemy. Pillman dragged his partner to the back, while Rocco Rock took the mic and vowed to spraypaint the Hollywood Blonds at the Royal Rumble!
Mr. Perfect pinned Matt Hardy with the Perfect Plex in 0:05:32. Rating: **
Shawn Michaels and Liz were the guests on this week's edition of the King's Court. They were accompanied by the huge mystery man from last week's show who was decked out in dark shades, jeans and a shellsuit top. Liz identified the man as the Heartbreak Kid's new bodyguard, "Diesel". Liz said that it has almost been a year since she and Michaels made public their love for one another and this was her early anniversary present to her man. Meanwhile, Randy Savage said he felt like he might throw up! Liz claimed that the WWF is a very dangerous place and she doesn't know when or where someone may decide to attack her man Shawn Michaels. As a result, she hired Diesel as an insurance policy to watch Michaels' back.
With Diesel looking on menacingly, Shawn Michaels put him over as the biggest, baddest man to come down the pike in a long, long time. Michaels stated that if anybody messes with him, then you're also messing with the big guy! Michaels gloated that with Diesel watching his back in the Royal Rumble, he is guaranteed to come out on top. Michaels said that in the Royal Rumble, this big Mach Truck will clear a path for the Heartbreak Kid to walk straight to the main event at WrestleMania!
Todd Pettengill was back with the latest Royal Rumble report. Mr Perfect, Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty, Sean Waltman, Duke Droese and Scott Flamingo were confirmed as entrants in the Royal Rumble, along with Diesel, whose participation was announced earlier in the night by Shawn Michaels. It was also revealed that the Royal Rumble will feature the debut of fiery Caribbean superstar Savio Vega. Comments then aired from Vega, in which he said that he is very proud of his Puerto Rican roots and promised to make his people proud in the Rumble match.
British Bulldog pinned Gary Sabaugh with the Running Powerslam in 0:04:08. Rating: * 1/4
During this match, it was announced that next week on Monday Night RAW, the British Bulldog will team up with the Thrillseekers to battle Scott Steiner and the Beverly Brothers in six man tag team action.
After the British Bulldog was victorious he was joined by the Thrillseekers at ringside, where Vince McMahon conducted an interview with the trio ahead of next week's bout. The Bulldog claimed that Fytch Wrestling Enterprises will be defeated next week, and in two weeks they will all be defeated again at the Royal Rumble. Chris Jericho said that not only will Fytch's men lose next week, but at the Royal Rumble they shall also lose all of their gold!
Another vignette for Sabu was shown. This video package focused on Sabu's fierce battles in Japan and India, in which he acquired heinous looking scars covering his entire body from diving into glass, barbed wire and thumbtacks! Sabu is certainly willing to pay a price that few men are willing to pay.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Bret Hart by disqualification in 0:14:45. Rating: *** [Tennessee Lee interfered against Bret Hart.]
The announcers once again noted that Bret Hart was wrestling more aggressively than ever as he raked Jeff Jarrett's eyes across the top rope. The Hitman grounded Jarrett with a Russian legsweep and worked the arm. Jarrett escaped with a back suplex. Hart attempted a sunset flip, but Jarrett punched him down. Double J whipped Bret hard into the corner and connected with a flying axhandle. Jarrett got caught on the way down when he tried a second one and the Hitman took over. An inverted atomic drop and a Russian legsweep scored two. Hart used a vertical suplex for another near fall. Bret used a backbreaker and the flying vertical elbow drop and Jarrett barely kicked out. As The Hitman prepared to lock in the Sharpshooter, Tennessee Lee distracted the referee while The Roadie entered the ring armed with a steel chair. Hart released his grip and disarmed the Roadie, before taking the chair and nailing the Roadie with it! The Hitman then struck Double J across the back with the chair for good measure, but unfortunately for Hart the referee witnessed this and disqualified him.
Frustrated at the result, Bret Hart continued to assault Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie after the bell. Rockabilly then hit the ring and the odds became too great for the Hitman. As Hart attempted to fight off Rockabilly and The Roadie, Double J took his acoustic guitar and smashed it over the Hitman's head! Tennessee Lee Promotions celebrated while Bret Hart was laid out amongst the pieces of broken guitar as Monday Night RAW drew to a close.
Circuit information: Tennessee Lee Promotions left Bret Hart laying amongst the splinters tonight courtesy of a shot from Jeff Jarrett's guitar. Jarrett was keen to make a statement tonight at the Hitman's expense and he certainly succeeded. After the show, Doube J said he would go one better on January 22nd and eliminate Hart from the Royal Rumble! The Hitman was understandably furious at this evening's turn of events and is keen to even the score with the country music superstar.
The Hollywood Blonds managed to escape tonight without being spraypainted by Public Enemy, but Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge have vowed to succeed in tagging the former Tag Team Champions at the Royal Rumble.
Next week's six man tag team bout should be a barnburner just six days away from the Royal Rumble! With Scott Steiner set to defend the Intercontinental Title against the British Bulldog on the pay-per-view and The Beverly Brothers scheduled to clash with The Thrillseekers for the Tag Team Titles, this six man gives the chance for somebody to get the upper hand on their rivals before January 22.
Shawn Michaels is cockier than ever now that he has his 7-foot bodyguard Diesel watching his back. Michaels and Diesel are both participants in the Royal Rumble match and the Heartbreak Kid is confident of victory now that he has his insurance policy there to protect him.
Here's how the card is shaping up for the Royal Rumble, which we'll bring to you live on pay-per-view from the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida on January 22!!

Before all that however, make sure you tune in this weekend for Superstars where we'll bring you a special eight man tag team match featuring entrants in this year's Royal Rumble! This bout sees the quartet of Crush, Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly team to do battle with the foursome of Mr Perfect, Repo Man, The Birdman and Scotty Flamingo! It kind of feels like you have a surplus of debuts right now. I'm sure it will all work itself out, but your roster is already pretty large to be bringing in so many new faces. Or has there been an exodus that we haven't heard about?

Or has there been an exodus that we haven't heard about? Yes, it is a big roster, but I am trying to freshen things up a bit with new blood. I want to start some different rivalries with younger guys through 1995. I still need a new face tag team too.

WWF Superstars January 14th, 1995 Bob Carpenter Center, Newark, DE Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The New Headshrinkers (Sionne and Samu) defeated Skinner and Bert Centeno when Sionne pinned B. Centeno with the Flying Lariat in 0:04:47. Rating: * (Big Man Steel no-showed.)
The Headshrinkers' celebrations were cut short by the appearance of the Supermodels at the entrance way. Samu and Sionne dared Rick Martel and Raphael to come down to the ring and fight but the Supermodels refused to go any further due to the smell coming from the squared circle! Martel said that he and Raphael are determined to give the Headshrinkers the beating of a lifetime for embarrassing them several weeks ago. Martel then challenged the Headshrinkers to face them in the very first "Tuxedo Streetfight" next week on Superstars! Martel vowed to beat up the Samoans next week and added that he and Raphael want to look good while they are kicking their behinds!
Taz made Mike Moraldo submit to a Fujiwara armbar in 0:04:25. Rating: * 1/2
During the bout, Taz cut an insert promo in which he claimed that the entire locker room is too scared to face him for the Hardcore Title. He said that nobody wants to step in the ring with him for fear of ending up being choked out or suffering a snapped limb. The One Man Crime Spree then threatened Crush, stating that if the big Hawaiian steps into his path of rage at the Royal Rumble then a snapped limb will be the least of his problems!
This week's guest on Talkin' Trash with The Dumpster was Razor Ramon, who received a tremendous response. The Bad Guy addressed Shawn Michaels' comments from two weeks ago when Michaels said he was through with his feud with Ramon. Ramon claimed that Michaels will have to kill him in order to be finished with him! Duke Droese suggested that it will be even more difficult for Ramon to get at Michaels with Diesel now employed to watch the Heartbreak Kid's back. Ramon vowed to take out Michaels' "big man" and then he'll have nobody to hide behind. Droese asked if Razor is more concerned with getting to Michaels or winning the Royal Rumble. Ramon replied that at the Royal Rumble, he will destroy the Boy Toy and become number one contender to the WWF Title in the same night, and it will be the greatest night of his life!
Ahead of the main event Harley Race cut a pre-recorded promo on Crush, in which he told the big Hawaiian to pray that he isn't in the ring when Big Van Vader makes his return at the Royal Rumble!
Crush, Bob Holly, Marty Jannetty and Owen Hart defeated Mr. Perfect, Repo Man, Scotty Flamingo and The Birdman when Jannetty defeated Birdman by disqualification in 0:16:18. Rating: *** 1/2
Repo Man ended up costing his team the bout when he broke up the pin attempt with his tow rope after Marty Jannetty had drilled Scotty Flamingo with a flying fistdrop.
Mr. Perfect, Repo Man, The Birdman and Scotty Flamingo assaulted their opponents after the decision. They cleared the ring of Owen Hart, Marty Jannetty and Bob Holly, before focussing their attention on Crush. They used the hook on the tow rope on the Big Hawaiian and then started to choke him out with the rope. Suddenly, Crush snapped and shoved his aggressors off! Crush floored Repo Man and the Birdman with a double clothesline and then drilled Perfect and Flamingo with a double noggin knocker! The Original Hawaiian Punch clotheslined Perfect and the Birdman over the top rope, before sending Repo Man out after them with a dropkick! Crush then pressed Flamingo over his head and launched him onto the trio at ringside to a tremendous ovation from the crowd! This was an emphatic display from Crush who looks more than ready for the Royal Rumble!!
Circuit information: Crush was totally dominant following this evening's eight man tag team match, becoming the last man left standing after clearing the ring of his adversaries. If Crush can repeat this feat next Sunday, he'll earn himself the shot at the WWF Championship that he so desires. But as stated before, Crush is most definitely a marked man in the Royal Rumble match, with threats coming his way left right and centre.
The Supermodels threw out the challenge of a Tuxedo Streetfight to the Headshrinkers tonight and we can reveal that Samu and Sionne have accepted. That match will take place next week on Superstars but the rules to this bizarre bout are as yet unclear.
Razor Ramon has vowed to take out Diesel if it means getting to Shawn Michaels in the Royal Rumble match. I suspect that may be easier said than done, however. We'll see how competent Diesel is between the ropes this week on Monday Night RAW as he makes his in-ring debut.
Here's how the card is shaping up for the Royal Rumble, which we'll bring to you live on pay-per-view from the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida on January 22!!

WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Scott Steiner vs British Bulldog
WWF Tag Team Championship Match The Beverly Brothers vs The Thrillseekers

In addition to the debut of Diesel, we are bringing you six man tag team action as the gold-laden trio from Fytch Wrestling Enterprises - Scott Steiner and The Beverly Brothers - take on the team of the British Bulldog and The Thrillseekers! Plus, just six days away from his WWF Title defence against Ted DiBiase at the Royal Rumble, The Undertaker will square off against Rockabilly! Till then, so long everybody!!

I'm really looking forward to Sabu's debut and how he progresses. With Sabu's most recent vignette and Taz's promo this week I think these two are on a collision course.
The Undertaker accepting a match just six days before the Rumble is a huge mistake! This gives Dibiase the chance to really screw with Taker and get an advantage.
As usual your buildups are tremendous. The Rumble is hands down the most exciting PPV of the year and I'm looking forward to the results.

Monday Night RAW January 16th, 1995 The Summit, Houston, TX Your commentators are Vince McMahon, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage.Tonight's edition of Monday Night RAW was scheduled to open with a six man tag team match pitting Intercontinental Champion Scott Steiner and Tag Team Champions The Beverly Brothers against the trio of the British Bulldog and the Thrillseekers. However, Scott Steiner was nowhere to be seen as Tammy Fytch entered the arena with the Beverlys. Fytch explained that Steiner was home at Michigan nursing a head cold, while the Bulldog appeared sceptical. Fytch said there was no way she would let Steiner compete tonight when he is not at 100% with his title defence against the Bulldog at the Royal Rumble just six days away. Fytch revealed that we would still get the six man tag tonight as she had found the perfect replacement - Mr Perfect! Perfect joined the Beverly Brothers in the ring and they prepared to lock up with their opponents. On commentary, Macho Man Randy Savage said that he smelled a rat with this whole situation. The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) and British Bulldog defeated The Beverly Brothers (Beau Beverly and Blake Beverly) and Mr. Perfect when Bulldog defeated Blake by disqualification in 0:16:44. Rating: *** [Scott Steiner interfered against British Bulldog.] (Scott Steiner no-showed.)This was a fantastic opening contest which was all-action from bell to bell. The Thrillseekers lined up Blake Beverly for the Sudden Impact, but Mr. Perfect intervened and shoved Lance Storm off the top rope to the floor. Perfect then drilled Chris Jericho with a superplex. Instead of going for the cover, Perfect played to the crowd and got caught with a dropkick from the British Bulldog which sent Perfect out of the ring. The Bulldog then planted Blake with the running powerslam but as he made the cover, Scott Steiner ran in and hit Davey Boy with his title belt for the DQ. Scott Steiner - who had been in the arena the whole time - joined The Beverly Brothers and Mr. Perfect in doing a number on the British Bulldog and the Thrillseekers as Tammy Fytch's plan came to fruition. Fytch Wrestling Enterprises laid out Bulldog, Jericho and Storm with belt shots as Fytch screamed that this was the closest that these men would get to the gold! Todd Pettengill presented the final Royal Rumble report in which he recapped the event card. Pettengill also revealed that Sabu will make his much-awaited debut in the Rumble match! Diesel pinned Lee Toblin with the Jackknife in 0:03:42. Rating: 1/4*Diesel and Shawn Michaels shared a high five before Diesel went to work. Big Daddy Cool swatted away a dropkick from Lee Toblin and then caught his hapless opponent on a cross body attempt. Diesel struck Toblin with a backbreaker and followed up with a side suplex. Michaels was looking very pleased as he mugged to the camera, obviously fancying his chances in the Rumble with Diesel in there protecting him. Toblin fired back with a sunset flip, but Diesel picked him up with a choke lift! Diesel hit Toblin with Snake Eyes and used the Jackknife power bomb for an effortless victory in his WWF in-ring debut. The Undertaker made his entrance for this non-title bout with Rockabilly to a rapturous response from the Texas crowd. However, as the WWF Champion entered the ring, The Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase appeared on the big screen. DiBiase claimed to be 100% focussed on capturing the WWF Championship this Sunday at the Royal Rumble, before asking The Undertaker what he is more focussed on - defending his title, or the terrible events of that fateful night all those years ago? The Deadman grew visibly angry as DiBiase once again alluded to this mysterious secret. DiBiase said that when he has the WWF Title around his waist, he will no longer care about the skeletons that the Undertaker has in his closet. As the Million Dollar Man cackled evilly on screen, Rockabilly jumped the distracted Undertaker from behind and the match was on. The Undertaker defeated Rockabilly by disqualification in 0:06:09. Rating: ** 1/4 [Jeff Jarrett interfered against The Undertaker.]The Undertaker soon took over on Rockabilly and proceeded to bounce his opponent around the ring. 'Taker walked the rope into an elbowsmash across Rockabilly's back and then used a flying clothesline and a big boot. The WWF Champion signalled for the finish, but then Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie ran in and attacked The Undertaker. Jeff Jarrett, Rockabilly and The Roadie ganged up on The Undertaker and conducted a three-on-one mugging. The place became unglued as Bret Hart hit the ring for the save and he and The Undertaker joined forces to send Tennessee Lee Promotions packing. The Hitman then rolled out of the ring and returned with a microphone and the Undertaker's WWF Championship belt as the show went to commercial. Bret Hart had some words for the Undertaker when the show returned. The Undertaker was not happy that the Hitman had taken possession of his belt. Hart said that when he returned from his knee injury, he wanted to earn a shot at the WWF Title he was forced to forfeit. He did not want to simply ask 'Taker for a match for the title because The Undertaker wears the belt with pride and honour. But now, The Hitman said that he had lost some respect for The Deadman because of his recent actions where he gave in to Ted DiBiase. Hart said that anybody who sells out to blackmail like that doesn't deserve to be called a champion! The Undertaker took offense, snatched his belt back and went nose-to-nose with The Hitman! The ring quickly filled up with a hoard of officials determined to maintain order and separate the two men. You could cut the atmosphere inside the arena with a knife as Monday Night RAW went off air!! Circuit information: Bret Hart and The Undertaker had a tense confrontation at the end of tonight's show. The Hitman, who is determined to work his way back into contention for the WWF Championship he never lost in the ring, is frustrated to see Ted DiBiase blackmail the Phenom into granting him a title shot and accused The Undertaker of lacking honour. The remarks raised the ire of the Man from the Darkside and he and The Hitman would certainly have come to blows if officials had not intervened. The Undertaker has lots on his mind heading into his title defence against the Million Dollar Man at the Royal Rumble. Scott Steiner and The Beverly Brothers laid out their respective Royal Rumble opponents with belt shots this evening. It was the culmination of a well-orchestrated plan cooked up by the conniving Tammy Fytch, who had drafted in Mr Perfect to replace Steiner in the six man tag team match after claiming that the Intercontinental Champion was unwell. What an awesome performance by Diesel tonight in his in-ring debut! On the basis of this showing, Big Daddy Cool is unquestionably going to be a force to be reckoned with in the WWF. If the draw is kind to Shawn Michaels at the Royal Rumble and he and Diesel are in the ring at the same time, then the Heartbreak Kid could very well deliver on his boasts and win it all. Here is the now finalised card for the Royal Rumble, which we'll bring to you live on pay-per-view from the USF Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida this Sunday, January 22!! WWF Championship MatchThe Undertaker ended an over three year wait to become WWF Champion again when he dethroned Big Van Vader at the Survivor Series in a Casket Match. But the Man from the Darkside has not been allowed to enjoy his title win and has instead been haunted by a dark mysterious secret known by none other than the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase. DiBiase was the very man who introduced The Undertaker to the World Wrestling Federation and knows anything and everything about the Phenom. The unscrupulous DiBiase used this secret to blackmail The Undertaker and walk into the WWF Title picture, securing a shot at the championship at the Royal Rumble. The psyche of The Undertaker has been severely tested by the antics of the Million Dollar Man and you have to question whether or not defending the title is first and foremost on The Undertaker's mind. Is 'Taker worried that DiBiase may slip up and spill the beans? Can he really trust the Million Dollar Man? The distraction by DiBiase could certainly have an affect on the outcome of the WWF Championship Match and the tormented Undertaker's title reign may be coming to an end. WWF Intercontinental Championship MatchThe British Bulldog robbed Fytch Wrestling Enterprises of a member when he forced Tom Billington to leave the company at Survivor Series. At the Royal Rumble, the Bulldog wants to rob Tammy Fytch's group of something else - the Intercontinental Championship - when he clashes with Scott Steiner. These two men battled at last year's Rumble when the Steiner Brothers captured the Tag Team Titles from The British Bulldogs. One year later and Davey Boy Smith is determined for things to turn out differently as he endeavours to become a two time Intercontinental Champion. This is a real clash of the titans as two of the most powerful men in the company go toe-to-toe, but who will be left standing tall in Tampa? WWF Tag Team Championship MatchThe Thrillseekers' month long chase for the Tag Team Titles culminated in them capturing the gold from the Hollywood Blonds in an epic ladder match at Survivor Series. But the achievement took a significant physical toll on the young Canadians, something the Beverly Brothers took full advantage of five days later on Monday Night RAW when they ended Chris Jericho and Lance Storm's reign in controversial circumstances. Jericho and Storm earned this title rematch by defeating the Hollywood Blonds in a number one contenders match and having had their first taste of championship gold ended so quickly, they are determined to beat the Beverlys and enjoy a long reign as champions. Public Enemy debuted in the WWF this past December but following their first match, they were attacked by the Hollywood Blonds who had decided to violently steal the stage to vent their frustrations at being overlooked for a rematch for the Tag Team Titles. Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge returned the favour by getting involved in the Blonds' number one contenders match with The Thrillseekers and preventing Brian Pillman and Steve Austin from securing a rematch for the gold. Ever since then, these warring teams have been interfering in each other's matches and wild brawls have broken out whenever they have been in the same vicinity. Last week on Monday Night RAW, Public Enemy vowed to make good on their promise to spraypaint the Hollywood Blonds at the Royal Rumble. Will they be successful, or will it be the Blonds who do a paint job on the Mack Daddies of Hardcore Tag Team Wrestling? 30-Man Royal Rumble MatchWinners gets a WWF Championship shot at WrestleMania XI! On Sunday night, 30 superstars are presented with the chance of changing their career forever. In just one night, you could become the number one contender to the WWF Title - but just which WWF superstar will it be? Amongst the favourites are Big Van Vader, last year's winner who returns from suspension on January 22 and is keen to unleash 60 days' worth of frustration. Bret Hart was forced to relinquish the WWF Championship last April through injury and is keen to work his way back into title contention - what better way than to win the Royal Rumble and guarantee a WWF Title Match at WrestleMania? Crush drew number two last year and lasted all the way to the end, but couldn't quite come out on top. The big Hawaiian is determined to go one better this year, but will have to look out for Black Friday Management who will be hunting him down in the bout. Razor Ramon would love to win the Rumble and earn the chance to wear gold again, but is the Bad Guy more preoccupied with getting his hands on Shawn Michaels? However, The Heartbreak Kid will have Diesel watching his back in the match, but only if the draw is favourable to them and they end up being in the ring at the same time. Perhaps somebody like Bob Backlund, who has spoken of his dream to compete for the title at WrestleMania, can spring a surprise and come out on top? Or maybe a debuting grappler like the Caribbean superstar Savio Vega or the death-defying Sabu will make a major name for themselves by winning the Rumble in their first night with the company? The only way you can find out is by ordering the Royal Rumble this Sunday night!!
