TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 08.11.2014
The world champ speaketh As Showdown opens, TNAW World Champion Britani Knight enters the ring to a loud pop. Dave Prazak is in the ring, asking her what she felt like battling three other women, among them, her mother, in the cage. Britani said it was a gruesome match filled with hate and spite, but she went in as the champ - and out as the champ. Dave asks about her relationship with her mother. Is it mending? It did look like Britani was trying to save Saraya from a beatdown last Sunday. Britani says that no matter what, Saraya is her mother and she will protect her if necessary. Enter Saraya Knight, who takes offense at having to be protected by her baby daughter. She got robbed of the World Title last Sunday, and wants a match with Britani, tonight! Britani tries to reason with her mother, but when Saraya unceremoniously slaps her across the mouth, mother and daughter starts brawling. A full squad of ref’s and guards separate them while Dixie Carter briefly enters, telling them and the fans that we will see the two Knights square off in the ring tonight for the TNAW World Title! Rating: ****
Interview w/Cruise & Evans Chasity Taylor stands by backstage with the agent RD Evans and Melanie Cruise. Evans says that the Ninjas have been nagging him about rematches, and that we tonight would see Melanie Cruise dominate Portia Perez. We would also see “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena take on Nicole Matthews, a match also set up by Evans. Athena stops by at this, not agreeing totally with Evans’ description of the events. Evans claims to have been working behind the scenes, helping Athena get this match. Rating: **
Athena vs Nicole Matthews “The Wrestling Goddess” defeated Portia Perez at Through the Gates of Hell, and wanted to repeat her performance against the other Ninja. The two women are known as hard-hitting athletes, and it didn’t take long for the two to engage in a fierce forearm battle. Nicole tried to maneuver Athena into her Vancouver Maneuver or the Lariat, but Athena had her well scouted, pushing her off the Maneuver and ducking the Lariat, hitting an Ace Crusher instead. As Matthews recovered from the crusher, Athena went up top and hit the O-Turn for the victory.
Athena defeated Nicole Matthews with the O-Turn after 04:42 Rating: **
Tag champs continue to bicker Backstage, Lenny Leonard is standing by with two unlikely tag champs in Tara and Kimberly. He congratulates the team with retaining the titles. Tara takes center stage, saying that despite Kimberly getting in her face, they still eked out the win. Kimberly objects, saying that it was HER who won the pin, not Tara. Tara retorts that she did most of the work, and in her graciousness allowed Kimberly to make the cover. The two does not reach an agreement of the events before Lenny has to send us back to the ring. Rating: *¼
Melanie Cruise vs Portia Perez Cruise continues to battle the Ninjas - this time it is Portia Perez who has the honor of wrestling the former triple crown champion. The size different made it challenging for Perez, who still found a way to get on top early on, raking Cruise’s eyes and trying to wear her down with sleepers and chinlocks. Evans tried to get the ref’s attention to these shortcuts, but Perez is perhaps one of the cleverest wrestlers out there. Cruise wouldn’t budge though, and when Perez wouldn’t let go even if Melanie reached the ropes, ref Remsburg pulled her away. Perez threw a fuzz about him touching her, slapping him across the face, causing the DQ.
Melanie Cruise defeated Portia Perez via DQ in 05:12 Rating: *¼
Serena still hurting Chasity Taylor stands by with Serena, sporting a bandage on her shoulder. When questioned whether or not she still feels the match in the cage, Serena confirms that both she and all the other women in the cage would feel the effects of that match for a long time. She goes on to say that no matter who wins tonight’s battle, she is still gunning for the World Title, and would not rest until it was around her waist. Rating: ****
Ivelisse enraged at betrayal We come back from the commercials, and Ivelisse and Sarita is in the ring. Sarita is on a leash, Ivelisse is seething. She claims to have failed herself and her heritage in not being able to rear Nikki to be an obedient little puppy. Last Sunday, Nikki betrayed her, her owner. However, not everything is glum and dark, as Sarita showed her true allegiance. She gently strokes Sarita’s hair. But she realizes it’s not her fault - it’s not even Nikki’s fault. It’s that damn Mercedes Martinez’ fault. Before she stuck her nose where it didn’t belong, everything was fine with the Pride. Martinez and Storm come out, Martinez asking Ivelisse if she’s actually insane, or if this is just all an act. Martinez tells Ivelisse that she cannot treat people like this, and begs Sarita to get out of this sick relationship. Ivelisse issues a challenge - Sarita vs Nikki Storm - right now! She lets go of the leash, and the two former Pride members go at it! Rating: *¾
Nikki Storm w/Mercedes Martinez vs Sarita w/Ivelisse The Scot was all over Sarita in the early goings, decking her with right after right and a hard clothesline. On the outside, Martinez prevented Ivelisse from interfering, leading to a near win when Nikki cradled Sarita. Ivelisse’s girl almost hit the Tiger Driver, but Storm countered with a backdrop. Ivelisse pulled Sarita out of the ring, walking out for the countout loss while screaming to Martinez that this wasn’t over.
Nikki Storm defeated Sarita via countout in 02:52 Rating: ****
Video greeting from The Beautiful People We see a video of Rayne and Love lounging on a couch getting pedicures and manicures. Rayne says that since TNAW clearly has become an unsafe working environment, letting monsters like Jessica Havock loose on innocent employees, they are working from home until further notice. As Love scolds the manicurist for cutting her on the nail file, Rayne pats her TV Title, saying that this is her second baby and it belongs at home with her mom. Rating: *½
Britani Knight (c) vs Saraya Knight for the TNAW World Title While some might have seen a glimmer of reconciliation between mother and daughter at the last iPPV, Saraya’s actions earlier tonight show that she is not relenting on her attacks. Neither held back in this fight, who quickly spilled to the outside, Saraya unceremoniously shoving Britani into the ring steps. Saraya was playing a mental game as well, shouting to her daughter to give up and give the belt to her mother. Ironically enough, Britani was raised to be prouder than that, to not give in and to fight back with all means necessary. Irish whipping her mother into the ring announcer’s table was certainly one of the means. In the ring, Saraya was softening up Britani’s back with a sitout power bomb, while Britani was softening up her mother’s features with a hard superkick. When Saraya put Britani in the Bridal Rocking Horse in the middle of the ring, her fans feared that the title might slip. However, aid came from an unexpected source as Sara Del Rey hit the ring, kneeing Saraya in the head and hitting her with the Royal Butterfly. She didn’t discriminate though, as she hit Britani with one as well, standing tall over mother and daughter Knight.
Saraya Knight defeated Britani Knight via DQ in 10:05 Rating: *½ (Britani Knight retained the TNAW World Title)
Show rating: *¾
Show notes: Saraya squeezes in another successful title defense, partly with the help of one of her most hated foes, Sara Del Rey. It certainly looks like Saraya will be fighting a two-front war from now on, unless she decides to make friends with her daughter.
Don’t forget us next week, as Jessica Havock will be in action again and Sara DelRey will face Rebecca Knox!

Since I'm never actually going to get caught up on all the feedback I've missed (as I am a bad friend, it turns out), I'm just going to start with the latest cards and see what pieces I can fill in from there.
I'm already in a good mood as my wife is World champion! The long expected (by me anyway) feud with her mother also seems to be in full swing now. I love that as a potential dynamic. We've seen mainstream father vs. son, brother vs. brother, and the like, but I can't think of any mother vs. daughter feuds. I guess technically Linda vs. Steph, but there was no real threat of a series of matches there. Saraya is pretty crazy so I imagine she's the instigator in all of this.
I like unlikely tag team partner angles as long as they're used sparingly. WWE had a nice streak where they did about 2 of those a year for 5 years. Tara still has a lot of mileage and to me, she's your Ric Flair. She's your constant and can help bring people up, which she seems to be doing with Kimberly.
I can say I have absolutely no idea what's going on with Sarita and Ivelisse. I like Ivelisse though and still have no idea why WWE let her go. It's different, I'll give you that.
Typo in the final paragraph of the writeup. Should be Britani squeezes in another title defense. Either way, glad to see Del Rey is still in the mix.
Here's to getting back on track!

Wohoo! Great to see you're back. Britani has been champ since Queen of the Ring in May actually, when she won the tournament and decided to challenge Tara right away. The feud with Saraya has been going on for most part of the year as well, and was something I wanted to do since bringing them both in in the first place.
Saraya and Britani have actually wrestled each other at a show in Norway several years ago, so I witnessed up front the craziness that is Saraya. Seeing mother and daughter beat up on each other like that is fascinating, even for us who know wrestling.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 15.11.2014
Allysin Kay vs Jessica Havock J-Hav may have failed in her attempt to win the TV title from Madison Rayne, but she did get a measure of revenge at Through the Gates of Hell, defeating both members of The Beautiful People in a handicap match. Her opponent tonight was Allysin Kay, who barely got out of the blocks before Havock was on her. The match could have been over sooner, but Havock wanted to send a firm message letting everyone know she was still dominant.
Jessica Havock defeated Allysin Kay with the Demon Drop in 03:51 Rating: ***
Injury update # 1 We get an injury update from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, where Nattie Neidhart is recuperating after her surgery. She tells the fans that she suffered severe ligament damage in her Ultimate X Match at Tropic Tumble. Bad luck, eh? Well, the Harts, they don’t stay down for long. As we see her going through several painful, but needed exercises, we hear her say she will be back before long. Rating: **½
RD tries to recruit Athena Backstage, RD Evans approaches Athena. He tells her that Athena and his client, Melanie Cruise, share a couple of the same problems, those problems being the Canadian Ninjas. He asks her straight out if she’s interested in representation. Athena replies a firm no. RD asks if this is because of what happened with Prince Nana. He assures her, he’s not like him. Athena says she’s better on her own. Rating: *¼
Athena vs Portia Perez w/Nicole Matthews This was a rematch from Through the Gates of Hell. Perez was prepared for this one, bringing Nicole Matthews down ringside to cheer on her, distract, interfere.. you name it. The Ninjas are so adept at working within the referee’s blind spot, that they rarely, if ever, were in danger of being disqualified. Even with a partner working on the outside, Perez didn’t seem to be able and do the job though. Athena hit a superplex on Perez, and went up again for the O-Turn. Perez shoved ref Rosenberg into the ropes, causing Athena to crotch herself. While the ref gave Perez a talking to, Nicole hit Athena in the head with a big boot. After getting back up, “the wrestling goddess” ran right into a superkick for the 3-count.
Portia Perez defeated Athena with a Superkick after 08:12 Rating: *¾
Ray & Leon want another shot In Dixie Carter’s office, Ray and Leon are irate, demanding another title shot for the tag team titles. Dixie says that their current champions may be a little unorthodox, but as far as she could see, they have won their matches fair and square. Dixie tells them to be patient and to accept the fact that they might not be first in line anymore. Rating: *
A chat with the champs Back from commercial, and Dixie has another tag team in her offices - the tag team champions of Kimberly and Tara. She congratulates them on their successful defense at Through the Gates of Hell, and says their next title challengers are still in the air. Tara says that it doesn’t matter, she will defeat them too. Dixie tells them they have a non-title match later tonight against Heidi Lovelace and Mary Dobson. Tara refuses, telling Dixie that she doesn’t do non-title matches, and to give her a call when a title match shows up. Dixie is furious, but there is apparently little she can do. She tells Kimberly it will have to be a singles match instead. Rating: *3/4
Injury update # 2 Another video airs, this time from Rose Martinez. Mercedes’ sister in law is also recuperating from an injury, sidelining her for the remainder of the year. Rose is working hard on a stationary bike, telling the fans that she will be back before they know it. She realizes Mercedes are fighting a tough battle against Ivelisse, and while she wishes she was able to help her, she remains positive that Mercedes will prevail in the end. Rating: **
Heidi Lovelace vs Kimberly This was supposed to be a tag match, but as Tara refuses to work non-title matches with Kimberly, she had to go one-on-one with Heidi Lovelace. Heidi is trying to break through to the upper levels of the hierarchy, and while they have similar backgrounds, Kimberly has achieved far greater success so far in TNAW. Her partnership with Tara has been beneficial for her, even though she is clearly not treated with the respect she deserves. This may be getting on her nerves somewhat, as she was not “all there” tonight, falling to the concussive Shining Wizard.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Kimberly with the Shining Wizard after 05:32 Rating: **¾
Serena wants a title shot Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with TNAW World Champion Britani Knight, as well as Serena. She states that she has brought these two together because Serena has something to ask of Britani. Serena firstly says that she is impressed with the young Brit, who has held the belt for almost six months, defeating some of the greatest and most experienced wrestlers in the world - including her own mom to reach that milestone. However, she hasn’t fought her, one on one yet. Britani replies that she is honored to be the TNAW champ, and that she works hard every day to keep herself on top. She would be honored to face Serena at the final iPPV of the year - Pride and Glory! Rating: ****½
Rebecca Knox vs Sara Del Rey The main event saw Sara Del Rey take on the newcomer Rebecca Knox. Even though she hasn’t been all that long in TNAW, Knox is a well-traveled athlete who didn’t flinch going toe to toe with Sara Del Rey. The experienced Sara was not nonplussed by this, but tried to wear her opponent down methodically. The crowd rallied behind Rebecca, and she fought back, sending Sara to the outside with a dropkick and hitting a beautiful dive. Sara got on the offensive again outside of the ring, hitting the koppo kick on the floor. As she rolled Rebecca back into the ring, the ref went to check on Knox’ condition. This gave Saraya Knight the chance to run in and hit Sara in the back with a chair. She rolled Sara back into the ring where Rebecca took advantage of the situation by pinning Sara!
Rebecca Knox defeated Sara Del Rey via pinfall in 12:05 Rating: ***
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: Sara Del Rey and Saraya Knight are far from over, that’s for sure. The final match of the year is also set, as Britani Knight defends the World Title against Serena at Pride and Glory - December 21st.

Even though her program with Saraya must be shelved, Sara will continue on as a road agent. Jessica Havock no-showed the november tapings. The rumors say that she just didn't show up, and that she is not on good terms with TNAW management. Havock has been promised a huge push, but she is just not getting it. iPPVsThe number of iPPVs next year will be reduced from 7 to 6. With My Bloody Valentine, Queen of the Ring, Caged Fury, Tropic Tumble, Through the Gates of Hell and Pride and Glory, it's Pretty Amazing who drew the short straw and has to go.

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 22.11.2014
It’s time for another edition of Saturday Night Showdown. Your new co-host, accompanying Dave Prazak at announce duty is the lovely Renee Young! They hype tonight’s main event, which is a rematch from Through the Gates of Hell between Mercedes Martinez and Ivelisse, as well as the fact that Alissa Flash has been declared well again from the injury suffered at the hands of Saraya Knight in January.
Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs Winter Cruise seems more and more confident with every match Evans coaches her from ringside. The veteran Winter gave her a tough fight, but using this newly regained confidence in conjunction with her strength, size and the skill that won her the Triple Crown championship in the first place, Cruise prevailed in the opening bout of tonight’s Showdown.
Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans defeated Winter with the Flying Leg Drop after 06:32 Rating: ****
Kimberly angry with Tara Backstage, a camera team catches the TNAW World Tag Team champions in a verbal confrontation. Kimberly, who last week had two wrestle a singles match because Tara refused to wrestle a non-title match, is lashing out at Tara, seemingly with no respect for the savvy veteran. Tara retaliates, saying that Kimberly needs those matches to hone her craft. Tara is already the best wrestler in the world. Tara says Kimberly is nothing without her, while Kimberly points out that she holds her own and contributes as much as Tara. Tara scoffs, telling Kimberly to back off and prepare for their next title challenge. Rating: ****½
Interview with RD & MC Chasity Taylor stands by with Melanie Cruise and her manager, RD Evans. The resourceful lawyer says that Melanie has taken serious steps towards getting back on top, but they’ve only started. She will have gold around her waist before you know it. RD Evans also tries to market himself, putting his contact info out there and reminding everyone that what he’s done for Melanie, he can also do for others. Rating: ***
Made in Sin vs Ray & Leon The Japanese masked duo needs to rebound after back-to-back losses against Kimberly and Tara, and did so in fashion here tonight against Made in Sin. The sullen girls in MiS did isolate Ray for a minute or so, but the Joshi girls’ speed and agility was too much for them to handle in the end.
Ray & Leon defeated Made in Sin when Ray pinned T. Made in 04:02 after a Frog Splash. Rating: ***
An awkward meeting Backstage, Britani Knight is signing t-shirts for fans, when suddenly, Alissa Flash pops up. The fans can feel the tense moment. Britani tells Flash that she heard she was coming back, and that she is glad that the injury wasn’t as bad as they first thought. If she wanted to pursue what happened, fine with her, but not in front of the fans. Flash tells Britani that she considers the matter settled. They’re even now. She put Saraya out of action for a while, they did the same to her. She tells Britani to stay away from her, and that her mother should do the same. Rating: **½
TBP are back! After a couple of weeks off due to “an unsafe working environment”, Angelina and Madison are now back. They are happy to see that actions have been taken against Jessica Havock, who, according to them, have been suspended indefinitely for her actions taken against two veterans such as themselves. Chasity Taylor tries to point out that Havock has taken a leave of absence, not being suspended. They then point out that it is probably due to the fact that she is too afraid for the revenge they had planned on her, or that she had finally realized she shouldn’t appear in public as ugly as she was without hair (hair they removed, by the way). They told Taylor that they were looking ahead now and had put J-Hav behind them. Rating: ***¼
Angelina Love w/Madison Rayne vs Heidi Lovelace Madison accompanied Angelina out for this match, still gloating about the fact that they scared Jessica Havock away from the company. Dave points out that she might very well return, but Madison waves him off. Angelina went into the match a little overconfident, and almost panicked when she discovered that Heidi Lovelace didn’t want to roll over and die as she expected her to do. Even after a couple of time out attempts, she couldn’t get the upper hand on Lovelace, who was dangerously close to a flash pin at a couple of occasions. Madison went up to help her, but the referee saw Madison pull out the hair spray. When he threatened her dq if she used it on Heidi, she sprayed the referee. Even though he was blinded, he could still signal for the bell and the disqualification. TBP high-tailed from the match while Heidi was shouting at them for being cowards.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Angelina Love via disqualification in 04:45 Rating: ****
Interview with the Knights On Renee Young’s first night in her new job, she’d managed to get both mother and daughter Knight to a sitdown interview. First item on the agenda was of course to discuss whether or not they were back on speaking terms. Saraya says that they have moved away from wanting to kill each other on sight, and that’s progress. Britani says that they just have to learn to live with the fact that only one of them can be the World Champion, and that someone is going to be her. Saraya tells Britani to keep it as long as she can, for if she gets another chance, she’s coming for it, no doubt. Saraya then asks where Sara Del Rey is? She is injured, says Renee. Saraya gloats, saying that yet again, the Knights send Del Ray packing. Rating: **½
Ivelisse w/Sarita vs Mercedes Martinez w/Nikki Storm Our main event of the evening featured a rematch from Through the Gates of Hell, as Ivelisse tried to get even with Mercedes Martinez. While their iPPV match focused on mat-based, technical wrestling, this match was more fast-paced, going back to their lucha roots. Their enmity shone through as well, Martinez almost breaking Ivelisse’s jaw with a stiff elbow. On the outside, Sarita (on a leash) successfully resisted Nikki Storm’s attempts at persuading her to tear away from Ivelisse’s control. Storm and Sarita crashed together though, and the referee went outside to break them up. A hooded women jumped the guardrail and got into the ring, surprising Martinez and hitting her with a fisherwoman neckbreaker. Ivelisse easily made the cover after that snappy and powerful move.
Ivelisse pinned Mercedes Martinez after 09:01 Rating: ****
Sexi Star! Ivelisse continued to beat down Mercedes Martinez. Nikki Storm went in there to help her, but Sarita, her leash released by the stranger, evened up the odds. The stranger herself tipped the numbers in the Pride’s favor, and after hitting Storm as well with a fisherwoman’s neckbreaker, she revealed herself to be the masked luchadora Sexi Star! The most profiled Mexican woman’s wrestler is here in TNAW! Rating: ***
Show rating: ***½
Comments: The heat between Ivelisse and Mercedes Martinez just got even more intense as the renowned, Mexican luchadora, Sexi Star made her presence known. What is their agenda? What are they planning? Check out the next Showdown to find out.

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 29.11.2014
Dixie announces top contenders match The show opens with TNAWs owner, Dixie Carter, standing in the ring as footage from Through the Gates of Hell rolls over the big screen. Dixie says that there are several wrestlers who deserve a title shot against Britani Knight - who seems unbeatable right now, by the way. Dixie is interrupted by Saraya Knight. The mother of the champion came out and said that she wasn’t finished with Britani. Three weeks ago, the title match was interrupted by Sara Del Rey. She wants another shot. Before Dixie can respond, Serena comes out. Serena says that both Saraya, Sara Del Rey and Tara have had enough shots at Britani. Serena, however, has only had one chance, with two other challengers. If anyone deserves a title shot one-on-one at Pride and Glory, it’s her. Dixie puts the discussion to rest by booking a top contenders match between the two of them for tonight. Rating: *½
Presenting: Candice LeRae A training video from an up-and-coming performer known as Candice LeRae is shown. The well-trained blonde is putting herself through a strict working regimen, telling the camera that she has worked her whole life for this opportunity, and that she won’t throw it away. Candice is coming to TNAW - next week! Rating: ****
“Crazy” Mary Dobson vs Sexi Star w/Ivelisse This was the first match from the masked superstar Sexi Star after appearing in TNAW last week. She was accompanied by Ivelisse, who briefly joined the announce booth, telling Renee and Dave that a new era is about to hit TNAW. Inside the ring, Sexi has no problem defeating Dobson early, ending her with a suplex.
Sexi Star defeated Mary Dobson with a swinging fisherman suplex in 01:55 Rating: ¾*
Two old friends meet up Backstage, Alissa Flash and Mercedes Martinez meet up. Two of the three former members of the Three Amigas, their meeting is somewhat tense. Martinez welcomes Flash back “home”, while Flash asks if everything is OK. Martinez says everything is all funky-dory. As the two move away from each other, Flash asks if Martinez wants help with Ivelisse and her gang. Martinez says that would be most welcome. Flash nods and says she’ll be there. But now, she has a match. Rating: **¾
Alissa Flash vs Rebecca Knox The returning Flash and the Irish lass engaged in a battle of chops and strikes, their chests and backs all red and purple by the end of the match. Knox surprised everyone by defeating Sara Del Rey a couple of weeks ago. The fact that SDR was hurting and on her way to surgery shouldn’t take anything away from the effort by the young Knox. Tonight though, against a fully recovered Alissa Flash, she felt a little short and got to taste the deadly Kudo Driver.
Alissa Flash defeated Rebecca Knox with the Kudo Driver in 05:10 Rating: ¾*
SexiNation Backstage, a lavishly decorated room houses Ivelisse and Sexi Star, with Sarita between them almost like a house pet. Half naked men walk around putting food, fruit and snakcs on the table. Sexi Star speaks in Spanish, but subtitles appear on the screen. Sexi says that for too long, the latin population has been overlooked at the big wrestling companies. For too long, they have been relegated to supporting roles and comedy gigs. No more! The four of them, including the soon-to-be conquered Mercedes Martinez, oh yes, she will yield, she will yield like the rest of them - are the proud members of SexiNation! Ivelisse cracks her whip at one of the male waiters, asking for grapes. Rating: *½
The Beautiful People scoffs at Heidi Lovelace Backstage, Chasity Taylor asks Madison Rayne about the possible threat of Heidi Lovelace. After she defeated Angelina Love last week, many claim that she could be next in line for a TV Title shot. Madison scoffs at the idea, saying that one fluke win doesn’t give anyone title shots. Madison cannot see any viable contenders for her title right now. Rating: ***½
Athena vs Sarita The “pet” of SexiNation was first in action, going up against Athena. “The Wrestling Goddess” matched Sarita’s technical prowess beat by beat, and putting on an impressive offensive on her own. The latina beauty retreated to the outside on a couple of occasions, but Athena goaded her back in, ready to continue the match. It didn’t look like Sarita had a proper battle plan to tackle her, and eventually, Sexi Star and Ivelisse came out and waved Sarita back with them. Athena yelled at them, but had to accept a countout victory.
Athena defeated Sarita by countout after 04:31 Rating: *
Britani has no preferences Before our main event, Chasity Taylor talks to the reigning champion, Britani Knight, about who she prefers to face at Pride and Glory. Britani says that she knows her mother better than anyone, and has defeated her several times already here in TNAW. She also feels Serena deserves a title shot. It all comes down to the fact that she doesn’t really care who she meets, she will defeat them no matter who they are. Rating: **¾
Saraya Knight vs Serena - Top Contenders Match Our main event saw two of the contestants in the Through the Gates of Hell match going at it one against one. Saraya still thirsty for her daughter’s blood, Serena determined to earn what she feels she deserves, a one on one match for the TNAW World Title. Saraya is a brutal and vicious brawler, but Serena isn’t one to back down from a proper fight, which was what we got here tonight. They grappled and brawled, both inside and outside of the ring. Serena speared Saraya, but the veteran rolled to the outside to prevent the pinfall. Knight tried to lock Serena in the Bridal Rocking Horse, but she evaded it. She did not evade a rear choke hold, Saraya holding on for dear life. Unfortunately, she had her shoulders on the mat, and she was counted out - giving the match and the title shot to Saraya.
Serena defeated Saraya Knight by pinfall after 11:05 Rating: **
Show rating: **¼
Show notes: Serena is the new top contender, and will face Britani at Pride and Glory at the end of December. Don’t forget to tune in next Saturday, as Candice LeRae makes her debut and Dixie Carter promises to find a tag team to challenge Tara and Kimberly!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 06.12.2014
Britani Knight vs Nicole Matthews - non-title match Our world champion, Britani Knight was in non-title action tonight against one-half of the Canadian Ninjas, Nicole Matthews. These two have had their battles before, especially over the TV Title a couple of years ago. Nicole never managed to beat Britani then, and even though the hard-hitting Matthews had the champion under control for parts of the match, Britani rebounded, ducking a lariat and hitting the superkick to set up for the Knight Rider.
Britani Knight defeated Nicole Matthews in 08:45 with the Knight Rider Rating: ***
Mercedes and Flash given an opportunity In Dixie Carter’s office, the president of TNAW expresses her delight in seeing Flash back in the company and that the two have joined forces once again. Flash and Martinez try to downplay the whole alliance thing, but Dixie still asks them if they’re interested in teaming up. For the TNAW World Tag Team title. Tonight. The duo smile, saying that Tara and Kimberly are in big trouble now. Rating: ***
SexiNation Chasity Taylor stops by SexiNation’s lavishly decorated locker room, tonight they have masseurs rubbing them in with oil, pampering them and treating them like royalty. Sexi Star directs all questions to Ivelisse, as she doesn’t want to be disturbed. Ivelisse tells Chasity that while she has paved the way for SexiNation, it is now Sexi who is in charge. The Latin domination of TNAW will be complete once Mercedes Martinez joins. Rating: *½
Candice LeRae vs Madison Rayne w/Angelina Love - non title match Last week, we saw a video of the new, young wrestler known as Candice LeRae. The California-based Canadian grappler has trained and wrestled men all her life, according to Dave Prazak, honing her skills in preparation of this day, when she debuts in the biggest women’s promotion in the world. She held her own in the beginning, and even stopped Angelina Love from using the hair spray. The temptation became too much when she held the can of spray though, and she sprayed Madison right in front of the referee, causing the disqualification. At least Madison Rayne got to taste her own medicine.
Madison Rayne defeated Candice LeRae via disqualification 04:14 Rating: ***
What’s next for mother Knight? Dave and Renee are having a sitdown with Saraya, who comments that they seem to invite her to an awful lot of sit down interviews. They ask her what’s next for Saraya Knight, now that she’s out of the World Title picture. Saraya scoffs at the idea, saying that she’s going to bounce right back in 2015. She has no intentions of lacing up her boots, if that’s what they want. Renee and Dave deny having any such wishes, but the damage has been done, and Saraya insults them in the good old-fashioned British way and then leaves in a huff. Rating: *½
Athena & Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs Ray & Leon This was the first outing of RD Evans’ team. Taking on the former TNAW Tag Team champions was not an easy task, and especially Cruise had challenges coping with their extreme pace and agility. Athena was somewhat better suited to this, and Evans seemed to have drilled their teamwork pretty good. Pretty good is not good enough when it comes to the synchronized duo of Ray and Leon. When Cruise went high-risk and missed a flying leg drop, Ray superkicked her, setting up for a moonsault and the win.
Ray & Leon defeated Athena and Melanie Cruise when Ray pinned Cruise with a moonsault after 03:59 Rating: **¼
Taunt & Brawl On their way out, Athena and Cruise discussed/argued what went wrong, RD Evans trying to keep the tempers down, explaining that this was their first match and their opponents were former champions. Their heated argument was interrupted by the Canadian Ninjas, who came out and made fun of their bumbling attempt at forming a tag-team. They also turn their verbal insults towards RD Evans, claiming that he is the least masculine of the threesome. While Evans tries to keep the tempers down, Athena charges, Cruise following suit. In the scuffle, Perez sends Athena into Evans, causing them to fall down in a slightly embarrassing position. Cruise is getting choked out with a TV cable by Matthews before the Ninjas retreat. Not a good night for Evans’ new team. Rating: *¾
Heidi feels she’s ready Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Heidi Lovelace, confronting her with the statements by Madison Rayne, that she doesn’t deserve a title shot. Heidi says she feels she is more than suited to challenge Rayne for her title, breaking her record reign. If she gets an opportunity like this at Pride and Glory, she won’t fail. She won’t stumble. She won’t choke. And Madison Rayne’s precious TV Title will soon be around her waist. Rating: ****¼
A tense meeting Backstage, mother and daughter Knight accidentally meets at a vending machine. They greet each other carefully, but politely. While waiting for coffee, Saraya says Britani is lucky that Serena got a win over her. Britani says she won’t take the bait. Whoever deserves the title shot, she will defeat them come Pride and Glory. Saraya replies “of course, you are a Knight,” and that the only one who can defeat a Knight, is another Knight. She tells Britani to not rest on her laurels in 2015. Britani shakes her head, telling her mom to take care. Rating: ****½
Mercedes Martinez & Alissa Flash vs Tara & Kimberly (c’s) for the TNAW Tag Team Titles Against opponents like Martinez and Flash, even stubborn Tara realizes that she cannot roll alone. So for quite a while, she and Kimberly tagged like a normal tag team. The only exception was that their tags were not especially nice, Kimberly slapping Tara’s back hard, Tara responding later with a slap, claiming it was a tag. This allowed the challengers to get more into the match, Martinez hitting Tara with the Three Amigas suplex sequence. Kimberly knows a thing or two about suplexes herself, taking down Flash with a fisherman suplex. The problem was that Tara blind-tagged her a moment ago, so she was not the legal woman. Despite their issues and against all odds, Tara helped Kimberly when she was about to be dumped with the Kudo Driver, reaching into the ring to gouge Alissa in the eyes. Kimberly jumped free, and while the ref held back Mercedes, Kimberly hit the Shuttle 151. Tara was quick to stop Martinez from coming in, and the win was a fact.
Tara & Kimberly defeated Martinez & Flash when Kimberly hit the Shuttle 151 on Flash after 08:15 Rating: **
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: We’re rapidly approaching Pride and Glory, the final iPPV of 2014. Next week, Serena will face an opponent hand-picked by Britani Knight in a “Pick Your Poison” type of match. Also, Alissa and Mercedes will have a chance to revenge their loss tonight, as they take on Sexi Star and Ivelisse of SexiNation!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 13.12.2014
Allysin Kay vs Portia Perez Portia Perez was in a foul mood as usual tonight as she took on Allysin Kay. Nicole Matthews visited the announce booth, telling Renee and Dave that they were pissed off for being overlooked in the tag title picture yet again. Dixie Carter had announced that the challengers for Pride and Glory would be announced later, but it was not the Ninjas! Nicole said that RD Evans was behind, lobbying against them for their actions last week. Dave called her a conspiracy nut, as Portia submitted Kay in the ring.
Portia Perez defeated Allysin Kay by submission via a side choke in 01:52 Rating: ¾*
New gear Backstage, RD Evans is waiting excitedly for Athena and Melanie Cruise to come out of the dressing room. As they do, they have new - matching gear. Neither of them looks especially pleased. Evans says that all good tag-teams have matching gear. They both protest, saying that they don’t have to be a tag-team just because they have the same agent. Evans says he will fix them a match at Pride and Glory. Rating: **
Saraya as the poison Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Saraya Knight. In tonight’s Pick Your Poison main event, Britani Knight has chosen Saraya as Serena’s opponent. Mother Knight says she understands Britani’s choice. It’s important for her to choose an opponent who is able to inflict as much punishment as possible on her opponent. That fits Saraya perfectly. However, she is not too happy about being ordered about like that. Britani needs to remember who the boss in the family is. Still, Serena took away her chance of facing her daughter for the World Title, and she will kick some ass as usual. Rating: **
Dixie announces tag title match for Pride and Glory The tag champions, Tara and Kimberly are in Dixie’s office as she announces that they will be fighting Ray & Leon for a third and final time at Pride and Glory. Tara complains about having to defend the title, seeing as they defended it just last week. And why do Ray and Leon deserve a third match? Tara is worried that Kimberly’s luck is about to run out. As Kimberly and Tara begin to bicker, Dixie announces that she’s had enough of the two of them, and says that the match will be contested in a best of 3-falls match. Tara looks devastated at the idea of having to defeat Ray and Leon twice. Rating: ****
Heidi Lovelace & Candice LaRae vs The Beautiful People While there is a debate on whether or not Heidi Lovelace has what it takes to challenge Rayne on the big stage, it was clear that TBP underestimated the makeshift tag team here tonight. After getting their asses handed to them by both Heidi and Candice, TBP had to take a breather on the outside, only to have Heidi dive on them. A finger in the eye turned the tide momentarily, but they continued to let themselves be distracted, complaining to the ref about hair-pulling and other cheating tactics (which didn’t happen). It was while Rayne furiously tried to have Heidi disqualified for a closed-fist punch that Heidi and Candice double-teamed Love, ending in Heidi hitting the Shining Wizard for a three-count. Not entirely by the book, but TBP just got what they deserved.
Heidi Lovelace & Candice LaRae defeated The Beautiful People when Lovelace pinned Love after the Shining Wizard in 05:10 Rating: *
Happy to be given a third shot Chasity Taylor, obviously having learned some Japanese phrases, tries to interview Ray and Leon in their mother tongue. It’s clear that she doesn’t succeed perfectly, as Ray and Leon laugh a good-natured laugh at her honest attempt. They say they are happy to be given the chance to regain their tag titles, and will not embarrass their home country again. Rating: ¾*
Alissa Flash & Mercedes Martinez v/Nikki Storm vs Ivelisse & Sexi Star w/Sarita Sexi Star and her SexiNation keep claiming that they will somehow conquer Mercedes over to their side. It didn’t look anything like that tonight, however, as Mercedes tore into her opponents with great fervor. Alissa Flash did not look like she’s been out of the game for a while either, tearing up Ivelisse with chops and kicks. And on the outside, Sarita and Nikki tried their best to help their team-mates, causing a real headache for the referee. When Flash was dragged down from the apron as Martinez went for the pin, Flash, Sarita and Storm crashed together in a wild brawl drawing the referee’s attention. He didn’t see Mercedes counter a swinging fisherman suplex into a small package, and he didn’t see Ivelisse coming in to hit Mercedes with a proper boot to the face. He did see Sexi Star hit the swinging fisherman suplex for the win, however.
SexiNation (Sexi Star & Ivelisse) defeated Flash & Martinez when Star pinned Martinez with the swinging fisherman suplex after 05:39 Rating: ***
The brawl continues SexiNation wasn’t done, as Ivelisse took a microphone, asking Mercedes to join SexiNation and bring the Latina heritage to full force here in TNAW. Melissa and Storm were hesitant to what Martinez would choose, but when she blasted Ivelisse with a forearm, the brawl was on. The wild brawl spilled into the crowd, as ring crew tried to separate the fans from Sarita and Alissa Flash fighting all over. The fighting was still going on as Showdown went to commercials. Rating: ****½
Saraya Knight vs Serena - Pick Your Poison To prepare (or weaken) their opponents, each of the two women in the main event of Pride and Glory could pick who the other would fight. Britani chose her mother, making this a rematch of the top contender’s match from two week’s ago. Serena won when she managed to pin Saraya when she was choking her. Saraya didn’t want to make the same mistake tonight, but continued her tactic of wearing Serena’s back down, preparing her for the Bridal Rocking Horse. As Serena seemed extra difficult to beat tonight, Saraya left the ring, apparently taking the countout loss. Britani Knight showed up at the entrance ramp, imploring her mother to get back to the ring and fight like a woman. After some deliberation, Saraya did just that, earning herself a brief moment of cheers from the crowd. She tore into Serena with great passion, but the world title challenger fought back, and blocked a power bomb attempt which would have knocked the wind out of her. Sending Saraya into the ropes, she hit the spear on the way back, defeating the matron of British wrestling.
Serena defeated Saraya Knight with the Spear in 08:12 Rating: ***
Serena announces Britani’s opponent An exhausted Serena grabbed the mic, beckoning Britani towards the ring. Serena congratulated Britani with a good choice of opponent - her mother is one tough nut to crack. Next week, the champion will be in the main event in a non-title Pick Your Poison match. Serena can choose from everyone on the roster, and she chooses an opponent Britani knows almost as well as her mother, one-half of the current tag team champions - Tara! Rating: **
Show rating: **½
Show notes: Serena survives her Pick Your Poison opponent, and next week it’s Britani’s turn. Will Tara finally get her revenge on Britani? Ray and Leon will be in action next Saturday, as will Nikki Storm. See you then!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 20.12.2014
Evans announces big match for Pride and Glory Solicitor RD Evans has a big announcement as the final Showdown of 2014 airs. Evans says that with two of the best wrestlers in the world as his clients, as a tag-team nonetheless, his stable is bound to place itself on the map. And at Pride and Glory, they will face none other than the Canadian Ninjas, one-on-one. Or maybe two-on-two. Rating: *
Nikki Storm vs Rebecca Knox Storm has been somewhat busy the last month helping Mercedes Martinez battle SexiNation, and has had few appearances in the ring. Tonight she was up against Rebecca Knox. The Irish lass has had her ups and downs so far in TNAW, a highlight being the defeat of Sara Del Rey some weeks ago. Tonight, however, she couldn’t quite match up to her European colleague, falling to the Eye of the Storm rather early on.
Nikki Storm defeated Rebecca Knox with the Eye of the Storm in 02:54 Rating: ****½
Sitdown interview with Heidi Lovelace Broadcast journalist Renee Young sits down with Heidi Lovelace, who after her convincing performances the last few weeks has been granted a title shot against Madison Rayne’s TV Title. Heidi says that when Rayne and Love publicly stated that she wasn’t good enough for a title shot, it only spurred her on even more She wanted to prove to herself, the fans and The Beautiful People that she had fighting spirit - plenty of it as well. Tomorrow night, Madison Rayne’s record breaking reign comes to an end. Rating: ***¼
Chasity with The Beautiful People Backstage, Madison Rayne and Angelina Love are watching Heidi’s sitdown interview with Chasity Taylor, who immediately asks Madison on her thoughts. Rayne scoffs at the notion of Heidi Lovelace challenging, not to speak of winning, the TV Title. She feels Dixie Carter has made a mistake by putting such an inexperienced wrestler on the iPPV. Rating: ***½
Canadian Ninjas vs Ray & Leon These two teams know each other quite well from their heated rivalry this summer. No surprise then, that these four women tore the house down with fast-paced, synchronized team-work that kept the fans at the edge of their seats. Reversal after reversal saw neither team gain a definite advantage. The pace went a little too quick for Portia Perez towards the end, as she couldn’t avoid hitting Nicole with the Superkick. After disposing of Perez, the Joshi girls hit Nicole with a frog splash and a shooting star press to finish this off.
Ray & Leon defeated Canadian Ninjas (Matthews & Perez) when Ray pinned Matthews with a Shooting Star Press in 05:10 Rating: ****½
Dixie’s peace summit In Dixie’s office, the TNAW president has gathered Mercedes Martinez and Sexi Star (with an interpreter). She tries to broker some sort of peace between them. Sexi, first through her interpreter, and then through a sickened Mercedes Martinez (who also speaks Spanish), doesn’t want war with Martinez at all. She wants Mercedes to join her in SexiNation, a home for all Latinas in TNAW, especially the Latina Sensation. Martinez says that this ethnic bullshit must stop. If Sexi Star really wants to do what’s best for the Latina community, she needs to drop crazy Ivelisse and realize that Sarita is Canadian. Mercedes used to respect Sexi Star, and wants to feel that way again. Dixie tells them that she will book a 3 vs 3 Elimination Match at Pride and Glory, SexiNation vs Martinez, Flash & Storm. Rating: ***½
Candice LaRae vs Saraya Knight The brutal matron of British women’s wrestling went into tonight’s battle on a sour note, having lost to Serena twice in the last month. Her opponent, the newcomer LaRae did not roll over and die immediately, something Knight apparently expected out of her opponent. She did even go so far as to tell her to stay down, or she would kill her. The threats only seemed to spur Candice on, as she hit back with forearms and kicks. Saraya stopped the youthful exuberance in its track, dropping her with a flapjack and locking on the Bridal Rocking Horse for the win. Still, an impressive outing by Candice and a super match!
Saraya Knight defeated Candice LaRae with the Bridal Rocking Horse in 04:43 Rating: ****
Serena confident for tomorrow’s match Chasity Taylor interviews a confident Serena. The challenger for the World Title says that she has never felt better in her career. Tomorrow is the biggest match of her career, and she will not fail. 2015 will be her year, and there is nothing Britani Knight can do about it. Her time has run out. Rating: ****
Britani Knight vs Tara - non-title Pick Your Poison match Normally, Tara doesn’t wrestle matches unless she gains something for it, but she’s always willing to fight Britani tooth and nail. It was the young Knight who defeated her for the TNAW World Title back in May, and rematch after rematch couldn’t give her the strap back for the fourth time. The veteran desperately tried to maneuver Knight into the Widow’s Peak, but she still couldn’t lure the champion into her deadly finisher. Instead, as so often before, it was Britani who got the duke on Tara with the Knight Rider.
Britani Knight defeated Tara with the Knight Rider in 07:28 Rating: ***¾
Attempted beatdown Britani celebrated a little too long, as Tara ambushed her from behind and put the boots to the champion. It didn’t take long until Serena hit the ring, taking Tara down with a spear. The challenger also picked up the title belt, lying in the ring, handing it over to Britani in a tense moment. Tomorrow night, we see who leaves 2014 as the champion! Rating: ***¼
Show rating: ***½
Show notes: Tomorrow’s show - Pride and Glory - will have the following matches:
Serena vs Britani Knight (c) - TNAW World Title Match Britani has held the World Title for seven months, defeating both her mother, Tara and Sara Del Rey. Now, her opponent is someone else, another hungry woman without prior World Title reigns. Can she survive Serena? Can she beat the Spear? SexiNation vs Martinez, Flash & Storm in an Elimination Match Sexi Star, Ivelisse and Sarita are creating a Latina monopoly for themselves here in TNAW, and wants Mercedes Martinez on their side. Together with her old companion, Alissa Flash, and the Scottish mercenary Nikki Storm, Martinez is the team captain in this elimination match.
Tara & Kimberly (c) vs Ray & Leon Despite all odds, Tara and Kimberly are the tag team champions. Can they defeat the Joshi stars a third time? Or will their bickering finally get the best of them?
Madison Rayne (c) vs Heidi Lovelace One-half of the Beautiful People has already set a new record for longest reign (any title) in TNAW history. Now, she is looking to go into 2015 as the TV Champion, but first, Heidi Lovelace needs to be bested.
Canadian Ninjas vs Athena & Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans RD Evans is trying to make an impact here in TNAW, and his team of Melanie Cruise and Athena has all the right skills to succeed as a tag team. But can they defeat the Ninjas already now?
Saraya Knight vs Candice LaRae After Candice’s impressive performance against the veteran tonight, Dixie Carter has ordered a rematch between them - tomorrow night!

It's impossible to respond card by card to all of the ones I missed. But I'm catching up. The stuff with the Knights breaking up and Saraya threatening Britani, Britani winning the title in shocking fashion against Tara and so forth is great stuff.
Absolutely sucks about Nattie's injury. She's always been a huge favorite of mine here, and she just can't catch a break.
It's so hard to get someone on the level of Del Rey and Tara, but I think you've done it with Britani. Melanie Cruise was close. And Kong could get back there in time. Just read her hand is broken though. That sucks.
Umm..
So you dropped the sims all together? Interesting!

Can't believe Kong left TNAW again. Just when it feels like you gave her back to me, you take her away again!
Britani is turning into quite the impressive champion. Especially retaining in Through the Gates of Hell. Looks like the Knight's, while not a perfect family, might be getting close to reconnecting.
I know you said Sara Del Rey might be close to turning into more of a trainer, but I'd miss her. Lots of big names that I knew from before seem to be dropping off.

Final feedback and will start doing show by show from here on again:
Kind of disappointed that Matthews turned into a JTTS.
The Knights have such an interesting dynamic. You've done so well with them.
Don't think Serena is the one to take away the title from Britani, but don't know who else you have that's capable.
It's been kind of crazy reading several months of a circuit in such a short span. Crazy how much changes.

Thanks for the comments guys. I have a few months of backlogs up, so something I go on a posting spree. I think I've booked through May, actually.
The Knights have been a dream to book. I don't think I would have done anything else differently if I could have done it again. Of course, it helps having seen and talked to them in person (years ago) and having seen how hateful mother and daughter matches really can be.
Kong quits on me all the time..
I rarely give out more than yearly contracts, so the danger for turnovers is pretty high. Also, women's wrestling careers tend to be somewhat shorter than mens. If a wrestler retires in real life, I don't have to retire her here, but if she leaves the company, she is considered retired.

TNAW - PRIDE AND GLORY - 21.12.2014
Welcome to the final iPPV and show of 2014! Tonight, all titles will be on the line, with Ray & Leon, Heidi Lovelace and Serena being the four excited challengers ready for the match of their lives, while Tara & Kimberly, Madison Rayne and Britani Knight will attempt to defend what’s theirs. Also, SexiNation meets a 3-woman team in an elimination match to stake out some real territory here in TNAW.
Athena & Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs The Canadian Ninjas Our first match of the evening saw solicitor RD Evans’ team of “The Wrestling Goddess” and the triple crown champion Melanie Cruise take on the team of Portia Perez and Nicole Matthews. While the team experience factor was in the Ninja’s corner, both of them had had difficulties defeating their opponent’s one on one. Would they succeed as a team? Egged on by the inspirational cheers from Evans, Cruise and Athena showed great team work and a tremendous fighting spirit in their first iPPV match, neutralizing much of Matthews power and trying to stay ahead of Perez’ mind games. Their time wasting and distraction tactics were only partially utilised, and they never really could get the match into their own groove. Cruise ends the match with a Burning Hammer on Matthews.
Athena & Cruise defeated Perez & Matthews when M. Cruise pinned N. Matthews after the Burning Hammer in 09:48 Rating: ***¼
Both are ready for an epic encounter! Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with both participants of the World Title match tonight. The two of them have only praises to sing about one another, but both agrees that they will give it their best to emerge victorious as the TNAW World Champion. Wishing each other luck, they depart to make the final preparations ahead of their bout. Rating: **½
Angelina Love vs Rebecca Knox This was an unscheduled match, but the crowd loved seeing the feisty Irish lass Knox either way. The arrogant, spoiled Angelina Love? Not so much. Oh, well, maybe a little. Love sloved the pace down considerably in order to wear Knox down with submission moves, targeting her air supply. With Knox’ history of head injuries, cutting off the oxygen flow gave Love a huge advantage. With the crowd’s support at her back, Knox fought back and mounted an offense. Love bounced back, but Knox ducked the Botox injection, hit a roll-up and a deep bridge to hold Love’s shoulders to the ground for the 3-count.
Rebecca Knox defeated Angelina Love with an inside cradle after 05:05 Rating: *
SexiNation ready for war As the vivacious Sexi Star stretches and prepare for the big elimination match later tonight, Ivelisse tells Chasity Taylor that they are ready for war. They will prove to Mercedes Martinez that resistance is futile and that she should get with the program. Together, they will rush in a new era of prosperity for all latinas in TNAW. Ivelisse predicts a clean sweep tonight, 3 to 0. Rating: ***¼
Heidi Lovelace vs Madison Rayne (c) w/Angelina Love for the TNAW TV Title It was time for the first of three title matches. As ref Remsburg threw out Love for not having a manager’s license, Madison Rayne threw a fit and almost got herself pinned as a result of not having her eyes focused on her opponent. Even though she was a little caught off guard, Rayne’s experience (and a finger to the eye) soon played in, and she was in control. No matter what you say about Rayne’s methods and work ethics, you cannot become the longest reigning champion in TNAW history without having skills. What she lacks in experience, Heidi more than makes up for in heart. She never quit, never gave up hope, even when Angelina Love returned to trip Heidi up in one of her comeback. Lovelace struck back, nailing Rayne with the Shining Wizard. If only the referee hadn’t been busy ejecting Angelina Love - again! This allowed Madison Rayne to find her hair spray, hit Heidi with it and then pin the blinded opponent with a small package.
Madison Rayne defeated Heidi Lovelace with a small package in 07:52 Rating: *** (Madison Rayne retained the TNAW TV Title)
Candice LaRae vs Saraya Knight In a rematch from last night, the newcomer Candice LaRae faced the veteran Knight again. Candice went on social media following the announcement of the match, telling fans that she learned a lot from their first encounter, and relished the idea of learning more from their second one. She did learn to take a whole lot of damage in the opening minutes, Saraya beating her from pillar and post and not letting her have a breather. Candice is known for her Balls-Plex maneuver, a german suplex where she lifts her opponent by the crotch. She competed against a lot of men on the SoCal circuit, hence the name. Saraya Knight might have more balls than many men, but Candice didn’t get to hit it on her tonight either. LaRae had to submit to the Rocking Horse, but as Saraya got out of the arena, Candice got back up, giving Saraya the thumbs up. Knight flipped LaRae the bird as she exited.
Saraya Knight defeated Candice LaRae when LaRae submitted to the Bridal Rocking Horse after 07:18 Rating: **¼
Alissa Flash, Mercedes Martinez & Nikki Storm vs SexiNation in an Elimination Match SexiNation has set their eyes on recruiting Mercedes Martinez to their side, and as the beautiful, but elusive Sexi Star directed her troops, it was clear that for them, Flash and Storm were extras in a show performed for the benefit of the Latina Sensation. With so many people involved in the match, ref Rosenberg had his hands full. Still, distractions and shenanigans were a dime a dozen, and when Sarita brought a chair into the ring, cracking it in the mat and throwing it to Flash, the referee fell hook, line and sinker for it. Martinez and Storm fought an uphill battle from there, and when Ivelisse drew the attention of Mercedes by trying to leash her on the outside, Sexi Star hit the swinging fisherman on Storm. Martinez battled bravely on her own, but was dominated completely by SexiNation. At intervals, they took the time to offer her an easy out. Join them, and the beating would stop. Martinez refused, taking the beating in stride. Reaching out to her latino heritage (or maybe using their own tricks against them), Martinez brought back the chair, using the exact same trick against Ivelisse! As Sexi Star argued vehemently in Spanish, Matinez gained a burst of adrenaline, hitting the Fisherman Buster on Sarita!
It was down to Martinez and Star now, and while Mercedes’ heart wanted it so badly, her body had taken so much beating that she couldn’t keep up with her masked opponent. Sexi hit her not with one, but with two Swinging Fisherman Suplexes. She refused to make the cover, telling Mercedes to give it up and join them. She refused the first time, but the second time she was barely sensible. The referee had no choice but to throw the match out. Star spat on Martinez as she walked out, calling her unspeable names in Spanish.
SexiNation defeated Flash, Martinez and Storm 3-2 in a 6-women elimination match
x Sarita eliminated A. Flash by elimination after 04:14 by disqualification x S. Star eliminated N. Storm with the Swinging Fisherman Suplex after 05:52 x M. Martinez eliminated Ivelisse after 10:12 by disqualification x M. Martinez eliminated Sarita after 11:03 with the Fisherman Buster x S. Star eliminated M. Martinez after 14:39 by referee stoppage Rating: ***½
Ray & Leon vs Tara & Kimberly (c’s) for the TNAW Tag Team Titles - ⅔ falls match Everyone was shocked when the unlikely pairing of Tara and Kimberly managed to win the tag titles, and most are surprised that they have been able to hold on to them despite being at each other throats for most of the time. Against the well-oiled machinery that is Ray & Leon, they pulled themselves together in the early goings, earning themselves a brief advantage until Kimberly took offense at Tara not tagging out, blind-tagging herself in and throwing Tara out. While unorthodox, the move surprised Ray as well, who allowed herself to be tangled up for the quick pin. Even though they were 1 fall down, they were still on top of the champions, and as Tara refused to stand on the apron, Kimberly was left to herself. To her credit, she kicked out of everything the Japenese women threw at her, even a combo moonsault -> senton. Feeling that Kimberly had suffered enough, Tara entered the ring with a chair, smacking Leon over the head with it for the DQ.
Even though they obviously don’t like each other very much, they clearly work with a common goal. As this took place, Kimberly clotheslined Ray out of the ring, jumping at her from the apron and taking the fight to the outside. In the ring, Tara battled Leon, playing possum when Leon hit a moonsault. Tara went up high as well, connecting with a cross body for the win.
Tara & Kimberly defeated Ray & Leon 2 against 1 in a ⅔ falls match for the TNAW Tag Team Titles x Kimberly defeated Ray with a small package in 07:14 x Leon defeated Kimberly by DQ in 10:48 x Tara defeated Leon with a flying cross body in 12:05 Rating: **
Enough is enough As they were handed the tag team titles, Tara yanked both out of the referee’s hands, telling Kimberly that she doesn’t deserve to be a champion, and that Tara would defend them on her own from now on. As she tried to go out of the ring, Kimberly attacked her from behind. The champions soon found themselves on the outside of the ring, where they brawled around it, Kimberly being tossed over the barricades and into the crowd, where Tara found a TV cable to choke her with. Total mayhem reigned as guards came to in order to separate the two. What will this mean for the status quo of the tag team titles? Rating: **
Britani Knight (c) vs Serena for the TNAW World Title These two have an enormous respect for one another, and the opening minutes of the match was dominated by technical wrestling, counter-moves and catch-as-catch-can. This type of wrestling really showcased Britani’s British heritage, but Serena was no slouch either, going toe to toe with the European. The intensity and power exchanges gradually increased as the match wore on, and Serena showed off her aerial abilities when she dove through the ropes to hit Britani on the floor. They brawled a while on the outside too, taking care to roll in just in time for the 10-count. Even though the stakes were high and the effort they put into it was considerable, the match was never filled with hate or enmity. Still, there could only be one winner, and as they approached the 15-minute mark, they both went for high impact maneuvers. Britani hit a brain buster for two, while Serena managed to catch Knight off guard at the turnbuckle, bringing her down with a superplex. Neither woman wanted to give up without a fight, but when Britani hit a superkick and positioned herself on Serena’s back for the Knight Rider, a collective cheer went through the crowd. Serena managed to toss Knight off her back though, and when Britani turned around, a lightning quick spear knocked the breath out of her - AND the World Title out of her hands!
Serena defeated Britani Knight in 14:33 with the Spear (Serena won the TNAW World Title) Rating: *½
Show rating: **¼
Show notes: Ladies and gentlemen, we have a new world champion in Serena, who managed what neither Tara, Saraya Knight or Sara Del Rey could do - defeat the young prodigy. In the tag team ranks, chaos ensues as the tag champions have really gone to war against each other. How will this affect the titles?
This was all from TNAW in 2014. We’ll see each other in 2015!

Damn you posting spree. :/
You are having a lot of injury issues right now it seems. Nattie and Del Ray being out are big ones. You have a lot good young talent that needs to be established still, which is fine but puts you in an interesting spot.
Britani losing makes me sad, but she'll be back. Serena has been around for awhile (and had issues with injuries herself) so it's nice to see her get a run.
Tag champs blow up. They going to fight for control of the titles now?
Good stuff all around. Keep chugging along!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 10.01.2015
Welcome to a new year here in TNAW! We enter the year with a brand new TNAW World Champion, as Serena got crowned at Pride and Glory just before the holidays.
New champ ceremony The new year opens with Serena coming to the ring to a great ovation from the crowd, streamers hitting the ring as the same time as her. Serena is overwhelmed with the reception from the fans, saying it’s an honor to be their world champion. It’s a dream come true, something she has worked hard for her whole life. She also gives credit to Britani Knight, the youngest champion in history, and one who held the title for almost seven months. Britani’s music plays, and the former champion comes out, also to a great ovation. Britani says that while she has had a crappy Christmas without her title, knowing that it went to Serena, and not her mother, Sara Del Rey or Tara, means a lot to her. It means it went to someone she respects. As the former and the current champion hugs, the music of the Canadian Ninjas plays, and Nicole and Portia come out. ‘Jeez, get a room you two’, opens Portia, before she tells them that they are sick and tired of getting overlooked here in TNAW. They are asking for, nay, demanding, a match tonight against the new BFFs. Britani and Serena agree, Britani saying that while she wants her rematch down the road, she has no issues working together with Serena tonight. Rating: ****
Mary Dobson vs Winter The British veteran has been more or less gone for the past months, but she has plans to get back on top here in TNAW, starting with Mary Dobson tonight. Winter dominated her for most of the match before debuting a new, devastating move, a Boston Crab variant she calls “The Hold of Winter”.
Winter defeated Mary Dobson when she made her submit to the Hold of Winter in 02:32 Rating: ***
Kimberly enraged Everyone has been talking about what will happen with the tag team champions after they really went at it after their defense at Pride and Glory. Chasity Taylor stands by with one-half of the champs, Kimberly. The younger of the twosome says that Tara is ancient history now, she just doesn’t know it yet. Kimberly is the future, and she won’t give up her belt without a fight. Rating: ***¼
Sitdown with Alissa and Mercedes Renee Young has a sitdown interview with the reunited friends, veterans Alissa Flash and Mercedes Martinez. Martinez admits that losing the elimination match to SexiNation at Pride and Glory was a big blow to them, but she is not going to join Sexi Star, no matter what. It doesn’t matter if they all claim to be Latina (Sarita’s not, by the way), she has friends of all races. Alissa is white, Athena is African-American, Ray and Leon are Asian. All of them are friends of her. Flash is also disappointed by the loss, but she and Mercedes will continue to fight the influence of SexiNation. They’re not done, she knows that. And she is sick of losing battles. She won’t lose this one. Rating: ****
Donna Lee vs Jessica Havock Jessica Havock is back! She has grown back the hair that the Beautiful People removed, but she has cut it in a mohawk style. Her opponent tonight was newcomer Donna Lee. The small, feisty blonde had guts, that’s for sure, but Havock is just so dominating. The brief flurry of offense from Lee was quickly quenched by J-Hav, and the Demon Drop followed soon thereafter.
Jessica Havock defeated Donna Lee with the Demon Drop in 01:02 Rating: ****
Nikki Storm vs Sarita The war between SexiNation and Team Martinez is far from over. Nikki Storm has a one-on-one victory over her former partner last year, but Sarita has spent the holiday season wisely, getting herself in even better shape (if that’s possible) and showing an aggressive side of herself. These two click every time, and the lucha style of the adopted Mexican meshes really well with the European style of the mercenary Scot. A series of reversals ended in Sarita hitting her tiger driver, holding Storm’s shoulders down for the three.
Sarita defeated Nikki Storm with the tiger driver in 03:54 Rating: ****
SexiNation with an outstretched hand Out comes Ivelisse and SexiStar. As Sexi doesn’t speak much English, Ivelisse is the mouthpiece. She calls out Martinez, who comes out. Ivelisse says that they can continue to defeat them, to beat them up and to humiliate them on Destination America. Or, Mercedes can do the smart thing and join them. Martinez flips them off, yelling at them in Spanish and telling them that she will never join their little girl’s club. Ivelisse shakes her head, nodding to Sexi Star, who picks up Nikki Storm and hits the fisherman’s neckbreaker. Ivelisse says that this will continue to happen to Mercedes’ friends until she comes to reason and joins them. Rating: ***¼
Saraya’s wrath Backstage, a camera rushes to as something has happened. At the bottom of a short flight of stairs, Candice LaRae is writhing in pain. Saraya Knight slowly walks down towards her, screaming at her for clapping condescendingly at Pride and Glory. She is not supposed to take ANYTHING away from being beaten by her, except for bruises and bad memories. Candice tries to fight back, but Saraya easily picks her up, power-bombing her through a catering table. Picking up a bottle of ketchup, Saraya sprays Candice with it, completely drenching her with condiment. Rating: ****¼
Tara speaks out Chasity stands by with Tara, trying to get a word or two out of the veteran of the tag team duo. Tara reluctantly agrees, saying that Kimberly has really overstepped herself this time. Tara was trying to give her a hand in winning some gold again, and her defiance and lack of gratitude has put everything at risk. She doesn’t know if she can or wants to defend the titles with Kimberly ever again. Rating: *¼
Britani Knight & Serena vs The Canadian Ninjas Serena taking Britani’s belt at Pride and Glory was not an issue in the opening minutes of the match, as the Ninja’s got their proverbial asses handed to them. The individual qualities of Britani and Serena was simply too great for the overconfident Canadians. A quick poke to the eye turned the tides momentarily, allowing Nicole and Portia to double-team Serena. The champ managed to tag, and Britani cleaned house. Serena blind-tagged herself back in again though, something Britani didn’t see, as she was busy superkicking everyone, including Serena! Britani was clearly apologetic at this, but had to finish up with the Ninjas, hitting Portia with the Knight Light and Portia with the Knight Rider. Just as she was about to make the cover, Serena charged her with the Spear. Clearly, she didn’t appreciate being superkicked like that! With three out of four wrestler’s laid low, the referee threw the match out.
Serena & Britani Knight vs. The Canadian Ninjas ended in a no-contest in 08:21 Rating: **½
Show rating: ***
Show notes: The apparent friendship between Serena and Britani Knight may be at a critical junction after tonight’s events. We have just been told that they will meet for the TNAW World Title in just two weeks’s time. Next week, Dixie Carter has some interesting news regarding the TNAW TV Title. Stay tuned!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 17.01.2015
Dixie announces top contender tournament The show starts with TNAW President Dixie Carter coming to the ring. Dixie says that while both the tag titles an the world title are hot and contested, the TNAW TV Title seems to sit firmly in Madison Rayne’s hands. She has now held the title for ten months, and does not seem to be letting it go anytime soon. With that, Madison Rayne’s title plays, and she comes to the ring alone. She says that nobody can take her baby away from her, caressing the championship belt like it was her real baby. Dixie says that they will crown a new top contender tonight, in a four woman tournament. The contestants - Heidi Lovelace, Athena, Saraya Knight and… Angelina Love. Rayne stops at that, demanding to know why Dixie would set the two of them up against each other. Dixie says it’s nothing personal, but Angelina deserves a chance to compete for the title. The winner of tonight’s tournament will get a title opportunity at My Bloody Valentine. Rating: ***¼
Angelina Love vs Athena - TV Title Top Contender Tournament Semi Final Madison Rayne was ringside as RD Evans led his client out to the ring. Love and Rayne exchanged a few words before the match, but you could see Rayne’s expression about the prospect of facing her BFF at My Bloody Valentine. Still, she did what a good BFF does, help cheat her friend to victory by spraying Athena’s eyes with the hair spray while the referee was admonishing Evans for something he didn’t do (but Rayne told on him anyway). Love advances. Angelina Love defeated Athena with a small package in 02:48 Rating: ****
Candice still looks up to Saraya Backstage, Chasity Taylor has a few words with Candice LaRae. The newcomer still sports a black eye and taped up fingers after the brutal ambush by Saraya Knight last week. Candice says that she should have seen it coming. Saraya hasn’t reached the level she has today by being passive and letting youngsters take her down. She is aware that she needs to step up her game to take her on, and that is exactly what she’s going to do. Rating: *½
Heidi Lovelace vs Saraya Knight - TV Title Top Contender Tournament Semi Final Even though she came up short at Pride and Glory, Heidi Lovelace is given another opportunity to win the TV Title from Madison Rayne. First though, she had to go past Saraya Knight AND Angelina Love. Lovelace might be faster and younger than Knight, but Saraya has a ruthlessness in her that inevitably, usually, leads to victory. The way she punished Heidi throughout the opening minutes was painful to watch, and only the ropes and Saraya’s sick, twisted mind, saved Heidi. Heidi had her chances to upset Saraya, but it looked like a done deal for her. That was until Candice LaRae entered, clapping and cheering for Saraya from a distance. This distracted Saraya enough to have Heidi hit a roll up for two. Saraya kicked out, but didn’t get up from her knees fast enough to avoid the Shining Wizard from Heidi. Lovelace is going to the finals!
Heidi Lovelace defeated Saraya Knight with the Shining Wizard after 05:14 Rating: **¾
Sitdown interview with Jessica Havock Renee Young has had a sitdown interview with Jessica Havock. The mohawk sporting first lady of pain was in a foul mood as usual. She told Young that the powers that be in TNAW sees her as a threat, and that they try to keep her away from the main event picture she deserves to be in. As far as Havock is concerned, it’s a lack of respect that she hasn’t even gotten as much as a title shot. The problem is, she doesn’t get any chances or matches at all to prove her worth! If things aren’t about to change really soon, she would be forced to take matters into her own hands. Rating: ***¾
Tara Chasity Taylor stands by with one-half of the tag champions, Tara. Chasity asks Tara what she thinks about the decision just made by Dixie Carter, stating that she and Kimberly either has to defend the titles as partners, or vacate them. One of them retaining the belts is not an option. Tara says this is typically of Dixie Carter, doing her utmost to make life miserable for the greatest wrestler ever. It didn’t matter, Tara would defend the tag titles and kick the crap out of Kimberly at the same time! Rating: **¼
Kimberly vs Rebecca Knox The other half of the tag team champions was in action against the Irish rock lass Rebecca Knox. Without Tara as a constant presence in the match, Kimberly and Knox were able to put on a decent back and forth match, Knox looking for another big victory to add to her resumé. Kimberly went for the Shuttle 151 early on, but it was too soon and Knox almost flashed herself to victory with a sunset flip. When Kimberly later catapulted Knox to the outside, causing R-Knox to twist her ankle, ref Rosenberg went to check on her. Cue Tara, who runs in and smashes Kimberly over the head with the tag title! Knox is helped back on her feet, slides into the ring and covers the senseless Kimberly.
Rebecca Knox defeated Kimberly by pinfall in 03:57 Rating: **
Tara is not done Tara enters the ring again, laughing at Kimberly’s misfortune. She picks her up and hits the Widow’s Peak before tossing her out. She takes a little too much time yelling at the crowd though, and when she is about to throw Kimberly into the steel post, Kimberly reverses. The two brawl at ringside, Kimberly mounting Tara and giving it to her. Tara tosses her off, choking her with a tv cable. Kimberly manages to turn it into a judo throw, getting Tara off of her back. Trainers come down to separate them, but the war only intensifies between the tag team champions! Rating: ****½
Angelina Love vs Heidi Lovelace - TV Title Top Contenders Tournament Our main event of the evening was the final in our little mini tournament crowning a new top contender for the TV Title. The current champ, Madison Rayne, accompanied her partner Angelina Love to the ring before joining the announce team. Madison says she hopes Angelina wins, but you should never underestimate Heidi Lovelace. The match itself was a strange affair, as Angelina tried to avoid Heidi, feigning injuries such as broken nails and twisted ankles. In the end, Heidi got tired of the shenanigans, and started putting the hurt on Angelina. This quickly caused Madison to move closer to the action, where she casually tripped Heidi going into the ropes, causing the disqualification.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Angelina Love via dq in 06:10 Rating: ¼*
Dixie sets the stakes One person not very happy with Rayne’s action, was her BFF, Angelina Love. She complained to Madison, telling her that she had everything under control. Rayne scoffed at the idea, arguing that she was barely wrestling, let alone winning. Love claimed that Rayne was afraid of facing her. Rayne scoffed again, saying that her record breaking title reign behind her - she doesn’t fear anything. Cue Dixie Carter, who comes out and says it’s a shame that their nice tournament had to be ruined by Madison Rayne’s feelings of insecurity. It was true, though, Rayne was a dominant champ. That is why, at My Bloody Valentine in one month’s time, she would defend her TV Title in a triple threat match, against BOTH Heidi Lovelace AND Angelina Love. Rayne was furious at this, but the decision stands. Can the TV champ survive two opponents at once? Rating: ****¼
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: A show focusing on the Tv Title, that’s for sure, but now the TV Champ has a bigger challenge than ever before, facing two opponents in a triple threat at My Bloody Valentine. Don’t forget to watch next week, as Britani Knight challenges for her old TNAW World Championship, when Serena makes her first title defense!

Hi guys, Here are some photos of some of the women you might not be familiar with. Heidi Lovelace
She hasn't been to any of the major promotions yet, but is doing well on the Independent scene. She wrestles a lot of guys, especially in Chikara where she also became the first woman to win the Young Lions Cup Candice LeRaeCandice is another woman who is known for her fights against men. She came through the SoCal scene (PWG) where she teamed up with Joey Ryan. Her finisher is a german suplex variant where she grabs the guys by the balls. When done on women, it is called the Box Plex. I figured TNAW was a little less graphical, and I have renamed it Crotch Plex. Jessica HavockShe was briefly in TNA (where she also won the Knockouts Title. I am not sure why she got released so quickly, but from what I've read, she might not be that easy to work with. She can easily fulfill the monster role that Awesome Kong often has. I might have had too many of those at the same time (Kong, Havock, Cruise, Hatred), and I am not too happy with how I've booked Havock so far. Let's see if we can change that soon.

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 24.01.2015
A great unveiling Tonight’s show opens in the ring, where SexiNation stands alongside something covered with a big red piece of cloth. Ivelisse calls out Mercedes Martinez, who reluctantly comes out to her music. Ivelisse says that on behalf of Sexi Star, she would like to welcome Mercedes Martinez to SexiNation with this little sign of appreciation. Sarita unveils the surprise - which is a bust of Martinez, quite lifelike, actually. Mercedes almost looks embarrassed by the attention, but gets into the ring anyway, wary of any sneak attacks. Ivelisse says that they have gone to extreme lengths of offering her a top spot in SexiNation. She is a leading example of someone from the Latina population who have reached far, and deserves this. Mercedes grabs the mic, telling them that they are a bunch of lunatics to believe she would be swayed by something like this. She grabs hold of the bust, throwing it down to the ringside floor, destroying it. Expecting an attack, Martinez goes into a defensive stance, but SexiNation is just disappointed. Ivelisse says that they will not stop before she sees the light. Rating: **
Alissa Flash vs Sexi Star Star remains in the ring as Alissa Flash’s music plays, and Mercedes’ friend comes down to the ring for her match. SexiNation and Mercedes remain at ringside as the two experienced grapplers tangle in the ring. It didn’t take long until Ivelisse distracted the ref, allowing Sarita to choke Flash, earning her several forearms from Martinez. From the ring, Star motions for them to stop. It appears like they don’t want any trouble with Mercedes in the recruitment process. The match back and forth, Flash almost hitting the dreaded Kudo driver, but Star wriggling out of it and hitting the Fisherman Neckbreaker for the win. After the match, Star beckoned for Mercedes to join them, but she stayed with Alissa, helping her back to her feet.
Sexi Star defeated Alissa Flash with the Swinging Fisherman Neckbreaker in 04:58 Rating: ***¼
Sitdown interview with Heidi Lovelace Renee has a sitdown with Heidi Lovelace, asking her about the upcoming triple threat at My Bloody Valentine. Heidi is grateful for a new chance at winning the TV Title, and actually thinks her chances have improved now that Angelina is a part of the match. She cannot interfere any more on Madison’s behalf. When asked if she thought The Beautiful People would work together against her, she said it was a clear possibility, at least for a while. Eventually though, Love would also realize that a new shiny object was laid out in front of her, and would throw aside the friendship for a chance of winning the TV Title. Rating: **¾
Candice LeRae vs Taylor Made While Candice really have made her mark in TNAW by earning the attention of Saraya Knight, she still hasn’t picked up all that many victories. That changed tonight though, as she showed her skill and talent against Taylor Made, hitting her aptly named Crotch Plex for the win.
Candice LeRae defeated Taylor Made with the Crotch-Plex in 02:21 Rating: ***
Knight Attacks Immediately following her victory, Saraya Knight pounced on her, clubbing her down. LeRae was surprised by the sudden onslaught, but when Saraya went for the power bomb, she slipped out of it and leveled her with several clothesline. She went for the Crotch Plex on Knight, but Saraya got out of it and retreated to the back, calling Candice a hillbilly pervert. Rating: **¼
Britani discusses the title match Backstage, Chasity Taylor asks Britani Knight on her rematch for the TNAW World Title tonight. Britani says she’ll do what it takes to win it back and prove that she’s still the best wrestler in the world. She is sorry that she and Serena seem to have fallen out with each other after what happened two weeks ago, but expects a clean match between two wrestlers who respect each other. Rating: ***
Ray vs Tara These two are no strangers to each other, having several tough battles over the TNAW Tag Titles last year. And while Ray have the speed, agility and youthful exuberance that Tara may be lacking, the wily veteran has not become the most decorated wrestler in TNAW history by chance. She ducked, countered and reversed Ray’s jumps, flips and splashes, taking pleasure in watching Ray writhe in pain from a missed moonsault from the top rope. Tara is not above cutting corners, and she tried to remove the padding of the turnbuckle, setting up for a nasty surprise for Ray. The ref saw it though. While the ref was busy rearranging the turnbuckle, Kimberly ran in and hit Tara with a chair! Ray might have known it was wrong, but a win is a win. And the SSP is one of the most beautiful moves in the company.
Ray defeated Tara with the Shooting Star Press in 04:56 Rating: ****¼
Serena not giving up her belt Chasity Taylor has a quick chat with the current champion, Serena. The woman defending the title later tonight said that she would be holding on to this for quite some time, and even if Britani tried to injure her by superkicking her two weeks ago, tonight is the closest she will ever get to the title again. Knight had a good run, but now was the time of Serena. Rating: ***¼
The Beautiful People concerned Madison and Angelina are receiving a massage backstage from two chiseled and good-looking massage therapists, while discussing the recent situation. Madison suggests to Angelina that they take out Heidi first, and then decide, peacefully, who should get the title. Angelina agreed, but also pointed out that it perhaps was fair to let someone who hadn’t held the belt, get it. Madison countered with the fact that she was setting an unbeatable record, and that it would benefit them both if she did. They both agreed that no matter what solution they came up with, their friendship would be intact. The two massage therapists roll their eyes to one another as they continue working. Rating: **¼
Britani Knight vs Serena (c) for the TNAW World Title After a short feeling-out process, the challenger and the champion went at it full speed, Knight dodging an early spear, forcing Serena to hit the ring post. Knight continued focusing her attacks on Serena’s shoulder, utilizing several submission moves she most surely have learned from her mother. Serena, on the other hand, used her remaining good arm to try and knock the wind out of Britani. As the minutes passed, Serena’s arm became more and more useless, but she did kick out of both a superkick and the Knight’s Light. At another superkick attempt, she ducked and rolled out to take a breather. Britani wanted to follow her, but ref Remsburg stopped her, pushing her into a corner. Suddenly, Saraya Knight sprints down toward the ring, knocking Serena down. She picks her back up and sends her into the ring post. The referee sees this last move, and calls for the bell immediately. Britani screams out to her mum for ruining her shot at the title. Saraya holds up her hands, realizing that she was caught red-handed. She tries to apologize to Britani, but she pushes her away and goes to check up on Serena. The champ immediately backs away from Britani, seeing her as colluding with Saraya. The show ends with Serena glaring at both of them, holding her title up high.
Serena defeated Britani Knight by disqualification in 08:18 Rating: **¼ (Serena retained the TNAW World Title)
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: The tension between the two former friends, Serena and Britani Knight increases as Saraya Knight sticks her nose into their business. With three weeks to go until My Bloody Valentine, who will challenge Serena for her World Title?

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 31.01.2015
Match set for My Bloody Valentine Tonight’s show opened with Dixie Carter standing in the ring alongside TNAW World Champ, Serena. Dixie said that last week, the TNAW World Title match between Britani Knight and Serena was interrupted and ruined by Saraya Knight interfering. Dixie is cut off by Serena, who demands to speak with both Knight’s, right now. The old Knight Dynasty music plays, and Saraya and Britani emerges, Britani surprised at their music playing like this. As they went down to the ring, Britani tried to separate herself from her mother as much as possible. Britani grabbed a mic, telling Serena that she cannot be held responsible for her mother’s action. Serena doesn’t believe Britani, saying that the problems between them apparently have been patched, and that they are now colluding. Britani tries to refuse, but Saraya grabbing her mic, mouthing of at Serena, claiming that her reign is soon at an end. Dixie cuts through, saying that Britani and Serena will have a second chance of having their rematch - at My Bloody Valentine! Rating: **¾
Allysin Kay vs Leon Watching Leon wrestle is like watching a ballet dancer in action. Her movements are so fluid and well-coordinated that you barely see where one ends and the other begins. Kicks, punches, throws and jumps - all aimed at disabling her opponent, setting up for the Frog Splash.
Leon defeated Allysin kay with the Frog Splash after 01:45 Rating: **¼
Athena & Melanie are bored Backstage, RD Evans is updating his LinkedIn profile on a laptop, when Athena and Melanie Cruise approach him. Melanie asks Evans if he has any work for them, everything has been rather quiet since Pride and Glory. Evans, quite flustered, says he did fix Athena up for the TV Title tournament, but that didn’t pan out. Athena gets angry with Evans for blaming what happened on her. Evans calms them down, promising them that something good will come up. Rating: ***¼
Dixie sets tonight’s main event In Dixie’s office, security personnel are needed in order to separate the two TNAW Tag Champions, Kimberly and Tara. Dixie says that they are a disgrace for the Tag Belt, and considers stripping them off the belts. Suddenly, Tara and Kimberly are both on the same page again, claiming that she cannot do that. Kimberly admits that she hates Tara’s guts, but she loves the tag titles even more. Tara agrees, demanding that Dixie sets a tag title match tonight to prove their point. Dixie says that she will do no such thing. She will, however, book the two of them in a match against each other. Rating: ***¼
Madison Rayne vs Nikki Storm - non title match Madison Rayne has become the most dominant champ in TNAW history, but Nikki Storm knew that a victory here would propel her to a possible title match in the future. Maybe Dixie Carter would turn the triple threat match at My Bloody Valentine into a four-way match? Angelina Love was on commentary for this one, telling Renee and Dave that Dixie Carter could try to ruin their friendship, but she would never succeed. One of them would walk out of MBV the new TV Champion. Renee asks Angelina if that was a slip-up (new champion), but Angelina just calls Renee a loser for setting a trap for her. In the ring, Madison Rayne takes home the win with the Rayne Check.
Madison Rayne defeated Nikki Storm with the Rayne Check in 03:10 Rating: *
Martinez wooed by music A video airs of a mariachi band playing outside an apartment window in the middle of the night. Eventually, the window opens, and Mercedes Martinez looks out, tired. Suddenly, SexiNation joins the Mariachi bands, who is singing a Spanish love song. Ivelisse joins the chorus, singing to Mercedes in English about not letting them down. Mercedes throws a potted plant at them before shutting the window and turning off the light. Rating: *
Ivelisse vs Mercedes Martinez It was unclear if the mariachi band incident happened the night prior to this match. If it did, neither of the wrestler’s looked worse for wear as they tore into each other. Martinez and Ivelisse have had battles before, and the two Latinas have matching styles and outlooks on the craft of professional wrestling. Both using a combination of old-school grappling and more modern-day hybrid mma-style. For once, neither Sexi Star or Sarita were ringside, and ironically, this might just have confused Martinez more. At several points in the match, Ivelisse took the time to shout at Martinez about joining them, but Mercedes was stalwart in her refusals, and fought back. After hitting the Three Amigas, Martinez went for the Fisherman Brainbuster, but a well-placed finger to the eye paved the way for Ivelisse’s Disdain, the powerful DDT putting Martinez out for the 3-count. On her way out, Ivelisse repeated to the camera that Martinez can only be better by joining them.
Ivelisse defeated Mercedes Martinez with the Disdain in 04:38 Rating: ***¼
Sitdown with Candice LeRae Renee Young had the fortunate of sitting down with young starlet Candice LeRae recently. Renee asked her about her past career wrestling with and against guys on the California indy scene, something Candice really liked doing, and which in her mind did prepare her for TNAW in a way that is quite unique. Facing an intense and brutal woman like Saraya Knight is not so different from fighting guys. Candice knows how to handle guys - she knows how to handle Saraya. She has made her career by beating male wrestlers, now she will make her TNAW career by beating Saraya. Rating: *
Britani tries to apologize Backstage, Britani Knight stops Serena just as she is about to leave the arena. Britani says that she has no control over her mother, and even though they are not mortal enemies anymore, it’s not like they are allies either. Britani hopes that Serena can blame her mum, not her. Serena says she doesn’t trust her. She doesn’t blame her either. Family is family, and the world title is the world title. As long as Serena holds it, a friendship between the two of them seems unlikely. Britani sulks as Serena brushes past her to a waiting car. Rating: ****
Kimberly vs Tara As much as they hate each other, they have professed their dedication to the championship they hold. Like two feuding parents, when it comes to the children, they put aside their differences. However, not many moms and dads fight like these two did tonight. They stayed outside of the ring most of the match, knocking each other into the ring steps, apron and guard rail. Kimberly even slammed Tara on the outside. They had to be careful not to let themselves be counted out however, and had to roll back in in order to restart the count. While inside the ring, Kimberly almost won the match with a roll up. Defeating Tara would be a huge feather in Kimberly’s cap, but tonight was not the night for closure. On one of their many trips to the outside in this match, they simply decided to stay there, causing the match to end in a double countout as they brawled to the back.
Kimberly and Tara ended in a double countout in 09:05 Rating: ***¼
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: Nothing is resolved between the tag team champions, while the former and the current world champion seem to be off each others Christmas card list.
Join us next week, as Tara and Kimberly defend their titles against Athena and Melanie Cruise!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 07.02.2015
Saraya with a challenge Hello everybody and welcome to Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight’s show opens in the back, where Chasity Taylor stands by with Saraya Knight. Saraya says that she heard what Candice LeRae said last week about comparing Saraya to male wrestlers. Saraya said that the only thing in common with her and men, was that she hit as hard as they did. Saraya didn’t doubt that Candice has a lot of experience with men (hint hint), but that she did not hold up to a proper woman like herself. Saraya wants another match - at My Bloody Valentine! Rating: ****¼
Allysin Kay vs Mercedes Martinez Mercedes has a lot on her mind right now. She is being wooed by SexiNation, and she lost to Ivelisse last week. How much of this strain can Mercedes take before she gives in and joins SexiNation? Even with a lot to think about, “The Latina Sensation” is a formidable opponent in the ring. While she uses the Three Amigas suplex series to honor the late Eddie Guerrero, she has more devastating suplexes in order to finish the match, like a perfectly executed german suplex with a bridge.
Mercedes Martinez defeated Allysin Kay with a german suplex in 02:48 Rating: ***
New clients for Evans? Backstage, solicitor and agent RD Evans is working focusedly on his laptop, when Winter and Jessica Havock walk over. Evans quickly shuts his computer before asking what he can do to help. Winter says that they need representation - they cannot get a proper match around on their own, apparently. Evans says that he doesn’t have time for more clients at this point. Jessica Havock grabs him by the throat and tells him that if this is the case, he should reconsider the contracts he has, or else..! Winter drags her off Evans, still telling Evans to think about it. A nervous Evans fixes his rumpled clothes and opens the laptop again. Rating: ****¼
Heidi’s mind games As Madison and Angelina are preparing for their match, Heidi Lovelace comes by to wish them luck. Rayne says that they don’t need luck to win their match, and she doesn’t believe Heidi wishes them well anyway. Heidi says it’s pointless in trying to fight the two of them. Tonight, they can hone their already well-polished tag-team work, so that Madison is certain to retain in the three-way. As she walks away, Angelina angrily asks Madison why she assumes that they will fight for Madison to retain. Rayne tries to calm Angelina, but Love walks away, telling Madison to see her in the ring. Rating: ***½
The Beautiful People vs Donna Lee & Mary Dobson The seeds of doubt have been sown within the beautiful heads of The Beautiful People, and their teamwork suffered for it in this one. Facing two of the most inexperienced members of the TNAW roster should be a walk in the park for the former tag team champions, but miscommunication and a lack of teamwork allowed the hard-hitting Donna and the unorthodox Dobson to dish out surprisingly amounts of pain on the two blondes. Fearing an upset, TBP got back on track, hitting the Makeover on Lee to win the match. Love and Rayne continued the bickering post-match though, so everything is not hunky dory in paradise.
The Beautiful People (Rayne & Love) defeate Lee & Dobson when Love pinned Lee with the Makeover in 05:10 Rating: **
Candice accepts Chasity Taylor asks Candice what she thinks about the challenge made by Saraya Knight earlier tonight, as well as her comments about Candice and men. Candice says that she will gladly wrestle Saraya at My Bloody Valentine. Candice also points out that she has experience with women, and would love to have Saraya as her Valentine. Rating: ¾*
Jessica Havock vs Rebecca Knox Looks like Havock is capable of getting matches on her own without RD Evans’ help. The Irish lass Knox has racked up a couple of nice wins since coming her, but both when facing Sara Del Rey and Kimberly, outside help has played a factor. In none of the cases was Rebecca responsible for or even aware of the help, but the end result was the same. In this one, however, nobody has a beef with Havock, so no help was forthcoming.
Jessica Havock defeated Rebecca Knox with the Demon Drop in 02:38 Rating: **** (Rebecca Knox suffered a herniated disc and will be out for 6 months)
Peace summit In Dixie Carter’s office, the TNAW president has gathered Serena and Britani Knight. Dixie says that there is no need for a war between them. They are the two most popular wrestlers in TNAW, and while they can have a healthy rivalry over the TNAW World Title, it doesn’t need to get ugly. The door slams open, and Saraya Knight enters. She demands to know why she wasn’t invited. Serena gets up, telling Saraya that she wasn’t invited to their last World Title Match either, but she still stuck her nose in their business. She pushes Saraya away, prompting Britani to instinctively come to her mother’s defense, pushing Serena away too. Serena smiles. She says she knows what this will lead to. Soon, the Knight Dynasty is back, doing whatever they can in order to win matches and titles. Like mother, like daughter. Britani (and Dixie) try to argue, but Serena puts up her hand, telling Carter that her naïve attempt at peace was no good, and that she will prepare herself for a battle against both Knights. The look on Britani’s face tells us she looks tired of both her mother and of defending herself to Serena. Rating: ****
Athena & Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs Tara & Kimberly - TNAW Tag Title Match You could hardly blame RD Evans for not pulling through for his clients, bagging them this opportunity. He could have been more present during the match though. He quickly joined the announce team, but stayed on his cell phone for most of the time, texting/chatting. When asked by Renee who he was talking too, he didn’t respond, changing the subject or talking about the match.
If the challengers thought that the recent problems between the champions would give them an advantage, they were wrong. Despite hating each other’s guts, Tara and Kimberly really want to hold the tag team titles. And while Tara actually refused to tag Kimberly once, leading to a lengthy period of domination from the challengers, Tara also went in to break up the pin, even dragging Kimberly back to their corner for the tag. When Tara hit Cruise with the Widow’s Peak, Kimberly ran in and drop-kicked Athena off the apron. Before Tara could make the three-count, however, Kimberly drop-kicked her out of the ring - then covered Cruise for herself!
Tara & Kimberly defeated Athena & Melanie Cruise when Kimberly pinned M. Cruise in 09:04 Rating: ****½ (Tara & Kimberly retained the TNAW Tag Team Titles. This was their fourth successful defense of the titles)
The champions are not done As RD Evans apologizes to his wrestlers for his apparent lack of enthusiasm for the match, Tara gets back into the ring and attacks Kimberly. Tara had the match won before the upstart had the tenacity to break up her pin and steal it for her own. Tara tosses Kimberly out of the ring, jumping at her from the apron with an axhandle. The two trade punches and kicks on their way out. On the top of the ramp, they hit each other with a double clothesline, sending both down and out for the time being. Rating: ***¼
Show rating: ***½
Show notes: The allied enemies continue their strange war, retaining their championship while hurting each other in the process. We have learned that there will be no tag title match at My Bloody Valentine. Instead, Tara and Kimberly will face each other one-on-one, in a StreetFight!
In addition to this, Britani Knight and Serena will face each other for the TNAW World Title, Candice LeRae will have the chance to wrestle Saraya Knight again and Sexi Star wrestles Mercedes Martinez. More matches will be announced!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 14.02.2015
Athena & Melanie Cruise vs Made in Sin Even though they came up short in their title bid against Tara and Kimberly, Athena and Melanie are still a dangerous duo. Combining Cruise’s raw power and Athena’s explosivity and agility, only experience and improved teamwork may stop them from eventually winning the tag belt. If Cruise does win the belts, she will be a record holding four time TNAW tag team champion, having held them with Annie Social and Awesome Kong (twice) in the past.
Athena & Melanie Cruise def. Made in Sin when Cruise pinned Kay with the Flying Legdrop in 04:48 Rating: **
Challenge made for MBV While RD Evans was apparently busing texting on his smart phone during the match, he quickly became alert when Jessica Havock and Winter came down to ringside, demanding to know why he hasn’t responded to their e-mails. Evans again explains that he isn’t out looking for more clients right now. The ruckus soon drew the attention of Athena and Melanie Cruise, who wanted Havock and Winter out of their manager’s way. Winter grabbed a mic, saying that Evans is making a huge mistake if his only two clients are the two of them. Evans gets angry now, saying that Athena and Cruise is a much better team than the two of them, and suggests settling this tomorrow - at My Bloody Valentine! Rating: *½
Belt stolen A camera follows Tara as she knocks on Kimberly’s locker room. All that can be heard is the shower, and Tara walks in, brazenly picks up the second half of the tag team titles, smiles and walks back out again. In the shower, Kimberly is singing the theme song from Armageddon. Apparently, she did miss something. Rating: *
Donna Lee vs Saraya Knight For a storied veteran like Saraya Knight, Donna Lee may be seen as a gnat. The same could be said for Candice LeRae, but Candice has proven herself to be one resilient rookie. Tomorrow night is their rematch from Pride and Glory, and while Candice had the night off, the British wrestling matriarch had a test run against Lee. A couple of minutes of torture followed up by the devastating submission finisher of Saraya was plenty.
Saraya Knight def. Donna Lee when she made Lee submit to the Bridal Rocking Horse Rating: ****
War is declared! Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with a towel-clad Kimberly, who is seething with anger for her belt being stolen. She just knows it was Tara, that old hag! The camera man confirms this, but the interview is cut short when Kimberly demands to know why he didn’t do anything to stop her. And why he went into her locker room to film while she was in the shower! Rating: *
Ray vs Winter While Winter and her partner Jessica Havock have an important tag match tomorrow, Winter needed a proper challenge to prepare herself. The Japanese star Ray has speed, an acrobatic skill set few females (or males) can match and a never die-attitude. Winter has the cunning and experience of a wily old fox though, and a well placed thumb here and there, taking advantage of the referee’s five count while choking Ray on the ropes and straight-up kneeing Ray in the lower back can quickly turn the match in the Brit’s favor. The attack on the back was for setting up for her new finisher - the Hold of Winter!
Winter def. Ray when she made her submit to the Hold of Winter in 04:50 Rating: *
Serena warns Britani As we come back from commercial, the world champion Serena is in the ring. The champ calls out Britani Knight, who comes out, wary of what Serena is up to. Serena says that come tomorrow, everyone knows that Saraya will involve herself on Britani’s behalf. Britani tries to interrupt, but Serena won’t give her the microphone. Serena says that while Britani has had everything handed to her by her mother, not everyone has been so fortunate. Serena had to almost break away from her family in order to pursue her dreams. Not everything had been handed down to her with a silver spoon. Britani tears the microphone away from her, saying that even though her family is a family of wrestlers, they have been dirt poor for most of her life, struggling to make a living on the merciless British wrestling scene. Britani has honed her craft since she was 13, going abroad to wrestle as a 15-year old. She has fought for this position just as much as Serena has. And tomorrow, Britani promises, the match will be fought between the two of them. Not involving Saraya at all. Rating: ***¾
Don’t try my belt! The curious camera man had apparently visited the locker room of TBP now, as Angelina Love discovers Madison’s TV Title lying on a bench. Looking around to see if Rayne was there, Love strapped it on, looking at herself in the mirror to see how it looked. Madison comes in, demanding that Angelina removes it. Angelina tries to calm down Madison, but Rayne is irate, saying it’s her belt! Suddenly, they both see Heidi Lovelace in the background. She tells Love it looks real good on her. Madison screams and shuts the door in Heidi’s face. Rating: ****¼
Britani warns her mother As Saraya is stretching after her match earlier, Britani barges in. She warns her mother not to interfere in tomorrow’s match. This is something she wants to do on her own. IF, and only IF she can respect that wish, there might be a chance for forgiveness for all the crap Saraya has put Britani through the last year. Saraya puts up her hand and says that she won’t lay a finger on Serena tomorrow. Britani says “good” and walks away. Saraya smiles wryly when she’s gone, muttering something about parents having lied to their children since the dawn of men. Rating: ****
Alissa Flash vs Ivelisse While neither of them have a match tomorrow, their partners do and the enmity between SexiNation and Flash/Martinez is well documented. These two gel extremely well together, trading holds and locks on the ground like the veteran grapplers they are. Both came out solo, and the fans got to see a straight up wrestling match with no shenanigans from the outside. Ivelisse stretched the rules as much as she could though, referee Remsburg threatening to DQ her on more than one occasion. A series of near falls ended up with Ivelisse positioning Flash for the Disdain, Flash pushing her away and getting her up for the dreaded Kudo Driver. Nobody gets up from that move, and Ivelisse will feel it in her neck tomorrow. And the next week.
Alissa Flash def. Ivelisse with the Kudo Driver in 07:04 Rating: ****
Show rating: ***
Show notes:
Tomorrow night is My Bloody Valentine! The card:
Serena (c) vs Britani Knight - TNAW World Title Match The Brit gets her rematch from Pride and Glory. Will this be a straight one-on-one contest, or will Saraya Knight stick her nose where it doesn’t belong?
Heidi Lovelace vs Madison Rayne (c) vs Angelina Love - TNAW TV Title Match While Rayne and Love have a solid friendship as the Beautiful People, what will happen when they are pitted against each other for the TV Title? And how can the third person in the mix, Heidi Lovelace, take advantage of this?
Tara vs Kimberly The TNAW Tag Team Champions have been on a collision course for quite some time. Now they square off against each other.
Sexi Star vs Mercedes Martinez All attempts form SexiNation to subvert Mercedes to their cause have failed. The Mexican star now wants to prove to Martinez that she is her superior.
Candice LeRae vs Saraya Knight Saraya does not see eye to eye with this rookie, who not only takes Saraya’s punishment, but calls it a valuable lesson and wants more. Can she upset the veteran?
Melanie Cruise & Athena vs Jessica Havock & Winter Winter and Havock want representation to get somewhere in TNAW, but RD Evans refuse to take more clients. They want to show him that Cruise and Athena are not the right horses to bet on!

MY BLOODY VALENTINE - 15.02.2015
Candice LeRae vs Saraya Knight The first iPPV of 2015 began with the rookie vs the veteran match, pitting the Brit Saraya Knight against Candice LeRae. Saraya was briefly outwrestled on the ground by the quick-paced LeRae, but her elbow soon found Candice’s jaw and the match turned. Saraya punished Candice extensively, bruising her chest red with her chops. Slams and knees were executed to soften up her back for the submission move, but Candice blocked any attempt to cinch it in. Slowly, Candice came back into the match, answering Saraya’s punches with her own, suplexing her and dropkicking her. Saraya went for the sitout powerbomb, when Candice went over, hitting a sunset flip for the flash pin! Candice has won, and Saraya couldn’t believe it. She shook her head, almost smiling at Candice who went out with the biggest win of her career. What a start to My Bloody Valentine!
Candice LeRae defeated Saraya Knight with a sunset flip in 07:44 Rating: ****
Angelina Love vs Heidi Lovelace vs Madison Rayne (c) for the TNAW TV Title As suspected, Love and Rayne ganged up on Heidi in the opening minutes, double-teaming her, taunting her and not letting her get a moment’s rest. They even hit the Makeover double-team move, but when Madison made the pin, Angelina dragged her off. The following argument between them allowed Heidi to rest up a little, and she dropkicked Madison into Love, sending her out of the ring. After this, it did became a free-for-all as all three tried to win the coveted belt. Rayne and Love punched it out as well, Love even hitting the Botox Injection on Rayne. In a triple threat, it is difficult to win due to the fact that the third wrestler can break up the pin. Removing the third person is therefore paramount. When Love hit the Botox Injection on Heidi, Madison quickly broke up the pin and threw Love out. Rayne then hit the Rayne Check, but Love was back into the ring to break it up, dropkicking Rayne out of the ring in the process. As she turned around, Heidi was there with the Shining Wizard, knocking out Angelina and WINNING the TNAW TV Title!
Heidi Lovelace defeated Madison Rayne and Angelina Love when she pinned Love after the Shining Wizard in 10:08 Rating: *** (Heidi Lovelace won the TNAW TV Title)
Athena & Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs Jessica Havock & Winter Evans joined the announce team during the match, but was apparently quite busy texting someone. When confronted with it by Dave Prazak, RD Evans admitted that he was in the process of bringing in a new client. He simply cannot stand the work ethics of J-Hav and Winter, and wouldn’t want them as clients. In the ring, his clients weren’t doing too good. Winter’s shenanigans and Havock’s power were difficult factors to match for Cruise and Athena. Even Cruise may have problems with Havock’s power, as she drilled her with a side slam. At one point, Athena yelled something to RD, prompting the solicitor to get up from the chair and walk ringside. His advice couldn’t help them though. As Havock and Cruise brawled on the outside, Winter got Athena in the Hold of Winter, forcing Athena to tap out.
Jessica Havock & Winter defeated Athena & Melanie Cruise when Winter made Athena submit to the Hold of Winter in 08:38 Rating: ***¾
Mercedes Martinez vs Sexi Star The entire SexiNation joined their icon at ringside for this match, while Mercedes had Alissa Flash in her corner. The match started out in a slow manner, both wrestlers trying to gauge the others tactic. It soon enough sped up, and as Sexi threw Mercedes out, she flew out between the ropes at her with a tope. Sexi landed awkwardly though, and held her wrist in pain. SexiNation let Sexi rest for a short while, Ivelisse distracting the referee by attacking Flash on the outside, Sarita hitting Mercedes with the Tiger Driver on the outside! When order was restored (more or less), Sarita tossed Mercedes back into the ring, where she quickly fell victim to the Swinging Fisherman Suplex.
SexiStar w/SexiNation defeated Mercedes Martinez w/Alissa Flash with the Swinging Fisherman Suplex in 04:28 Rating: ¾* (Sexi Star suffered a broken wrist and will be out for 1 month)
Injuries galore As Sexi Star went to get her hand checked, physicians came into the ring to check on Mercedes, who wasn’t moving. Her neck was hurting after being tiger driven on the outside and hit with the fisherman suplex on the inside. As the medical professionals were loading her on a gurney, Alissa Flash ran backstage, finding Dixie Carter soon after. She demanded a match right here and now against Sarita. Before Dixie could reply, Ivelisse assaulted her from behind. They started clubbing each other, making their way down to the ring alongside a ref! Rating: *
Alissa Flash vs Ivelisse These two have had tremendous matches before, and this was not an exception. While the others have contained a mix of technical and aerial wrestling, this one was a slugfest going all over the place. Flash beat Ivelisse from pillar to post in the early goings, knocking her head into the ringpost and slamming her on the outside. She made no attempts at making a cover though, and Ivelisse’s attempts at begging for mercy was not heeded. A hair slam allowed Ivelisse some offense, but it was the fury and anger of Flash that dominated this match. Fortunately for Ivelisse, Sarita ran down and attacked Allissa, causing the dq. The duo stomped and beat away at Alissa, until Rose Martinez, Mercedes’ sister-in-law, ran down with a chair, chasing SexiNation away. Rose is back! Alissa Flash defeated Ivelisse via DQ in 07:23 Rating: ****
Kimberly vs Tara It was time for the heated grudge match between the two TNAW Tag Team champions. Tara came out with both tag titles, having stolen Kimberly’s last night. Kimberly barged out from backstage, attacking Tara from behind and taking back her title. They brawled outside for 3 or 4 minutes before getting into the ring, finally starting the match. Even though Kimberly had the advantage early, Tara’s many years in the business paid off as she started gaining more momentum. She missed a spear in the corner though, and Kimberly kicked her square in the head. Tara was wobbly after this, the referee checking on her several times. Kimberly didn’t want to let her rest too much though, putting her in ankle locks and trying to injure Tara’s bad knees. When Tara reached the ropes after a leglock, Kimberly refused to let go. When the referee broke it up, she pushed the referee. The ref warned her, but Kimberly didn’t read the signs and simply kicked the referee in the chest, causing the dq. Kimberly then spat on Tara, taking both belts and walked away.
Tara defeated Kimberly by DQ in 09:48 Rating: ½* (Tara suffered a minor concussion and will be out for 1 month)
Britani Knight vs Serena (c) for the TNAW World Title What was once a friendship based on mutual respect has deteriorated into a full-blown rivalry. Serena doesn’t trust that Saraya won’t interfere, and all attempts from Britani to assure the champion that this will be a straight one-on-one match. The match was more or less a friendly contest for the first couple of minutes, until an errant finger from Britani found Serena’s eye. While Knight was warned by the referee for the action, and she apologized, Serena didn’t accept it as easily as it was given, starting to go for Britani’s eyes herself. The match turned into a brawl, and the match soon went outside. At one point, Serena speared Britani on the outside. On the inside, later, Britani wanted to show Serena that she also could spear, but Serena moved away, causing Britani to hit the ring post! Britani wasn’t herself after this, missing a superkick and almost falling prey to a roll up. It was perhaps no shock that Saraya Knight found her way down to the ring, distracting Serena enough to let Britani hit the Superkick. Instead of going for the pin or the Knight Rider, Britani got into her mother’s face, saying that she didn’t want her here. When Saraya refused to go, Britani superkicked her down from the apron. As she turned around, Serena hit with the spear, winning the match!
Serena defeated Britani Knight with the Spear in 12:17 Rating: **** (Britani Knight suffered a major concussion and will be out indefinitely) (Serena retained the TNAW World Title) Show rating: **½
Show notes: A dramatic iPPV fraught with injuries and accidents. Britani Knight couldn’t regain her World Title, and she got a major concussion when she missed the spear. Tara is also suffering from a concussion, and Sexi Star broke her wrist. Mercedes Martinez is also injured - for an unknown amount of time.
This might upset the landscape of TNAW greatly, but how ? Follow us next Saturday on Showdown.
