Colts-Jags game surprisingly turned into a shootout but Colts still won.
Will anyone beat the Colts or Saints? Both teams seem incredibly good at finding ways to win no matter what goes wrong.

I live in Colts Country (and they are all very annoying, really). Colts will lose. They have found a lot of lucky ways to win. They're a good team, but not really 14-0 good. They've been outplayed in more than half of their games and just barely find a way to sneak it out. I almost prefer it this way. That way it will be more satisfying for me when the Colts get beat in the playoffs.

My prediction is Colts/Saints in the Super Bowl this year ... i don't see anyone beating the Saints if they get past the Cowboys this weekend ... the Colts I haven't seen yet this year, but I wouldn't bet against Peyton Manning ...
it would be awesome if they were both 18-0 heading into the Super Bowl, but I doubt that will happen ... if one of them will be 18-0, it will be New Orleans ...

I saw a stat that in 7 of their wins they've trailed in the 4th quarter. Manning has dug them out of alot of holes. Of course, he's had a couple turnover-laden games where he's put them in the hole in the first place. He's turning from Marino II into Favre II. Colts are also supposedly going to rest some starters and all injured players the last 2 weeks. On the other hand, the Saints want to go for the record. I really want to see a Colts-Saints Super Bowl but as a fan of the Dolphins (17-0 in '72, baby!) I'd love to see the Colts lose at least one of their final games while taking it easy and for the Saints to get upset in the final week, just so we don't have a pair of undefeated Super Bowl teams. I like both teams though.

I'm a huge Dolphins fan too, but I kind of want another team to go undefeated mostly because Mercury Morris may be the stupidest person on the history of the earth. I want to see him get all sad.

The guy did end up selling hard drugs in the late 70s (and using? I read "Against The Grain" so long ago I forget) and did jail time. Good runner but not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Well, sadly, some bad playcalling has cost the Saints a perfect season. As I sat back and watched the first drive by the saints (Three passes, and OUT), I shook my head in disbelief and thought I was watching the 2007 or 2008 Saints again (All pass, no run).
Even with the WTF missed field goal, I just somehow knew it wouldn't be enough, due to the stupid deficit from the first half.
Ahh well, at least it's Christmas week: Something to look forward to ;->
