That's what they are calling the NXT group.
Actually, I suppose that's not bad.

Am I the only one that is wondering why John Cena isn't out here even if he would get suspended? It doesn't really fit into his character to just be sitting in the back watching on a television screen.

Cena dropping a WOW reference there was weird.
The beatdown of the legends (plus Mike Rotundo - though props for the IRS joke) was pretty bad. 6 young wrestlers should be able to take on 6 old guys no problem. And Hendrix looks like hell.

Didn't Jericho beat 3 of those legends by himself a WrestleMania or two ago?

See, I loved the psychology of it...they were like a pack of freaking wolves. So far I think they've executed it perfectly every week. The shock of the initial beatdown, the attack on Bret, the devastation of Vince and now the sadistic waiting out of the vets...case in point: I love every guy in that ring aside from the Lawler, but the crowd was bored as crap by the old guys...by the time Nexus was done killing them, the crowd was INTO it. It's the best the nWo angle has been done since the nWo...and in some ways, it's been better.

I wanna see the Rookies beat down Vince one more time, have the entire Raw lockerroom on the outside of the ring, and low and behold Cole announces that the new GM is coming out to handle this "Personally"
"This Is Extreme" cranks out over the PA.
Out strolls Heyman.
The Rookies are holding Vince camel-clutch style...
Heyman gets in the ring and laughs in Vince's face and screams...
"NOW are you happy that you kiled ECW and replaced it with NXT, you sonofabitch?!?!"
King mutters "Oh my God" quietly...
Fade to black as the Raw stars start to swarm into the ring...
Ahh, the dream....
(This angle also works with Joey Styles instead of Heyman)

Yeah, If Heyman was "behind" it, I would shut off the TV immediately.
I might be more okay with Styles.

I don't understand. Why doesn't just come back to the US through the Mexican border? Then he could stay for however long as he wants.
Wrong place?

But yeah, Nexus is screwed if they have to use Otunga or Tarver as the main voice. Bleh. I love Tarver's look, but he doesn't have the skill to carry this thing. They need Danielson or Barrett for this to work.

Danielson couldn't sell this thing on the mic, either. Barrett's the best mic worker they've got...Otunga is a little more tolerable now that WWE's telling him what to say word for word.

See, I loved the psychology of it...they were like a pack of freaking wolves. The whole "pack of wolves" thing was okay, circling the ring and pulling out one guy at a time and beating him down. But every time a NXT guy would try to get into the ring he'd get stomped and sent back out. The failed attacks were worse than the slowness of the attack. I did have a funny thought about that segment though: it was Lion King meets Jurassic Park - hyenas attacking dinosaurs. The Wade Barett work visa thing...ugh...

Agree to disagree, I guess..I thought, aside from the initial attack on Cena, it was their best segment yet...they just built that tension so well, and then when Tarver rushed the ring when it was down to...four, I believe...the gasp from the crowd was a nice payoff.

Yeah, if Heyman came out, it would be incredibly lame. Worse than it already is.
Sounds like Wade Barrett won't be back until after SummerSlam.

Intrigue/angle over.

Every time I hear Jim Ross mentioned in connection with the NXTers it makes me think of the Fake Diesel & Fake Razor angle. Me too. It wouldn't be a good thing, but I could see them doing it to give Ross something to do a little while. Plus he could throw in the whole "Cole took my spot" ... Even if he isn't part of the Nexus I could see him being the anonymous GM.
