*Flash Bulbs go off as NAWF owner Kevin Stewart comes into a room where press have gathered.*
Kevin : Thank you for joining me here today everyone. I am here to announce the start of the NAWF, the North American Wrestling Federation. Here tonight on the stage are our announcers. First off, our Ring Announcer, Mark Kennedy.
*Mark gives a little wave and a grin as he takes a sip of water.*
Kevin : Next up are our announce team, play by play announcer Todd Miller and his Color Commentator, Peter Gordon III.
*Todd grabs a mic and addresses the media.*
Todd : It is great to be in NAWF! What a true honor and privledge it will be to call the matches of our top superstars!
*Peter rolls his eyes as it appears he could care less and really doesn't want to be there.*
Kevin : Lastly, our Back Stage Reporter is none other then Stan Cooper.
*Stan gives a big thumbs up and a big grin.*
Kevin : Now folks, our roster right now consists of 16 wrestlers, 14 of which are very established and 2 which we will be meeting in the next couple weeks. I will take questions now.
*Reporter #1 stands up.*
Reporter # 1 : Yes, Bill Mitchell from the Daily News. What will your Pay Per View Structure be like?
Kevin : Excellent question. We will have monthly Pay Per Views and each will be unique and offer great action to our fans! Yes, Ma'am?
Reporter # 2 : Hello Kevin, Bonnie Wilson from the Houston Times. What types of titles will you have in your federation?
Kevin : Another great question. We will have 3 titles in NAWF. A world title, Tag Team Titles, and a TV Title that will be defended every single show. The TV Champion will face off against guys in our federation and also will face off against contenders that will be brought in from outside of the company. If you want to wear that belt, your going to have to fight for it! I have time for one more question.
Reporter # 3 : David Nelson from the Washington Post. Can you reveal some of your roster?
Kevin : David, I will one up you and I will reveal our whole roster, right now on this diagram!
Faces
Cactus Jack The Sandman Rob Van Dam Randy Orton Evan Bourne Billy Kidman Mikey Whipwreck Steve Jenkins
Heels
Raven Brian Pillman Waylon Mercy CM Punk Matt Striker Dean Douglas The Miz Bob Jacobsen
Jobbers
Brooklyn Brawler Nate Smart Ross Kelley Barry Horrowitz Brad Armstrong Manny Bruce
Kevin : As I stated before, our roster is 16 wrestlers, however we do have contracted supplement wrestlers who will travel to give some of our established wrestlers a challenge. The names on this list that you might not recognize are Steve Jenkins and Bob Jacobsen. They will be profiled in our first 2 weeks of Monday Night Mayhem. Nate Smart, Ross Kelley and Manny Bruce all are wrestlers that are pretty green but we have faith they will be a great addition to our lower level guys. Ok folks I appreciate your time, get ready because NAWF is going to bring you some great action!
*Kevin walks out of the room as pictures are being taken.*

1-4-10 Monday Night Mayhem
*The NAWF arena is sold out for the debut episode of NAWF Monday Night Mayhem.*
Todd Miller : Welcome Everyone to the DEBUT of Monday Night Mayhem! I am Todd Miller and my partner in crime here is none other then Peter Gordon III! Peter, how are you tonight?!
Peter Gordon III : I would rather be anywhere else but here.
Todd : Oh Peter, always the jokester! Let's head up to the ring for our opening contest!
Mikey Whipwreck pinned The Miz with the Whippersnapper in 0:11:19. Rating: *** 1/4
Todd : This match was highly contested match where The Miz's cockyness cost him the match.
Peter : His cockyness? Todd, he's confident. Nothing wrong with that.
Todd : Point taken Peter, but either way you look at it, Miz went for a second flying dropkick after he succesfully nailed one and Mikey stepped out of the way and hit a whippersnapper for the win!
Evan Bourne and Billy Kidman defeated Nate Smart and Ross Kelley when Kidman pinned R. Kelley with the Shooting Star Press in 0:08:14. Rating: 3/4*
Todd : This high flying tag team really impressed me Peter!
Peter : Todd, your not a hard guy to impress. Just last week you had a freaking corn beef sandwhich that you called impressive!
Todd : It was tasty! Evan and Billy really meshed well tonight and gained the victory which I'm sure will garner the attention of the Championship committee! We will be right back folks, in the meantime, take a look at a new wrestler coming soon to NAWF!
*Scene fades out and we hear ballpark music as we see a vendor tossing out cracker jacks to some fans.*
Vendor : Why hey there everyone. My name is Steve Jenkins. I've been a vendor now for 20 years and I make a fairly good one if I don't say so myself. My passion though has always been wrestling. While I'm not vending, I am wrestling and training and now I am going to be debuting right here next week for the NAWF! I hope to see you around, and go Mets!
*Steve Jenkins goes back to vending as we head back to the arena. Peter looks dumbfounded as Todd looks happy.*
Peter : A vendor. A freaking Vendor is going to wrestle here.
Todd : Peter, Steve I have heard is an excellent wrestler and we will be very lucky to have him in the NAWF! Let's head back to the ring.
Waylon Mercy defeated Barry Horowitz when Barry Horowitz passed out in the Psycho Sleeperhold in 0:05:28. Rating: ** 3/4
Peter : Now THIS is someone I like. He's a no nonsense kind of guy and he takes his competetors down quickly.
Todd : Waylon certainly is an impressive competetor, but he sure does lack on the fair side of things.
Peter : He shakes the refs hand before the match, even his opponent! A southern gentlemen if I ever saw one.
Todd : Well he did pick up the win and momentum here in NAWF! Let's head to the back where Stan Cooper is standing by with Raven!
*Stan Cooper is in a dark area of the arena with Raven, who is sitting down on the floor.*
Stan : Raven, Welcome to NAWF. What are your goals here?
Raven : For one road to start, another must end. A long walk down that road will prove to be exhausting, tiring, endless. On this road, bodies will fall, blood will be shed, but tears will not have time to dry. My path is set, down a road of victory, that will lead to the golden belts that I follow. Quote the Raven, Nevermore.
Stan : .... Back to you guys.
*Todd and Peter are a bit confused.*
Todd : That certainly was interesting.
Peter : Todd, what are you talking about!? The guy is a freak!
Todd : He has a way with words, that is for sure. Let's head up to the ring for our main event!
Rob Van Dam pinned Brian Pillman after a springboard moonsault in 0:09:36. Rating: *** 1/4
Todd : This match had action from Bell to Bell! Rob Van Dam was one step quicker then Brian it seemed all match and held control for most of it!
Peter : Brian did have some glimmers of hope when he got a near fall after a flying splash, but it wasn't meant to be.
Todd : Indeed, as RVD hit a very impressive Springboard Moonsault and won a great main event match on the debut of NAWF Monday Night Mayhem! Folks, join us next week when we will see the Debut of Steve Jenkins, We will see Raven in action, plus we will hear from The Sandman, and in our Main Event, CM Punk will battle Cactus Jack! So Long everyone!
*Camera fades to black.*

I had a laugh when I imagined the actual diagram being held up and there actually being a column titled JOBBERS. Did they know what they signed up for?
Just a suggestion, try putting the match result in bold.

Just a suggestion, try putting the match result in bold. LOL I was picturing the same thing. Yeah thanks for the suggestion, I forgot to here. I ran SWF over on the other board and even though I'm taking a break from that fed to try something fresh here, I'll probably do both down the road. I just needed to do something fresh.

*The NAWF arena is sold out as the camera pans to Todd and Peter.*
Todd : Good Evening everyone and welcome to another night of exciting NAWF action!
Peter : I can hardly wait.
Todd : We will be seeing some great action folks, however, on January 31st, NAWF will be exploding on Pay Per View with New Beginnings! I have been informed from NAWF owner Kevin Stewart that on that night, there will be a 16 man tournament where the winner will be crowned the NAWF Champion!
Peter : So your telling me that someone will have to win 4 matches just to be NAWF champion? Why bother.
Todd : The reason, Peter, is fame and the honor of being NAWF champion! Why don't you try to enjoy the action instead of looking down on it.
Peter : Todd, just stick to calling the action.
Todd : Alright...well if that's the case, let's head to the ring for our opening contest. Raven pinned Randy Orton with the Raven Effect in 0:12:23. Rating: ***
Todd : This match was a great contest between two very different types of wrestlers. We have the brawler in Raven and we have the scientific wrestler in Randy Orton!
Peter : This Raven, I think he might have potential in this lackluster federation. If he can stay focused on his wrestling and not his insane promos, he might win championships!
Todd : Lackluster federation? Peter, we have some of the top wrestlers all around here, as Raven did prove with a major DDT which he calls the Raven Effect and it put away Randy Orton for the 3 count.
Peter : Todd, how much are they paying you?
Todd : Money has no matter in my level of excitement here, which includes this next match which features a new wrestler in NAWF that was profiled last week!
Steve Jenkins pinned Brooklyn Brawler with the Nacho Neck Breaker in 0:07:57. Rating: ** 3/4
Peter : The Vendor Versus The Jobber. I smell ratings!
Todd : Peter! Please... Steve was so excited to be here and he really got a huge win to start his career here. His swinging Neck Breaker which resembles the Shake Rattle and Roll of The Honky Tonk Man, did The Brooklyn Brawler in!
Peter : Well, that's just about halfway through our show, we have a profile on a former wrestling federation owner... I'm gonna go grab some dinner.
*Peter gets up and leaves and Todd is left dumbfounded as video rolls for the introduction of Bob Jacobsen.*
*Video is shown of a man, 5 foot 6 and around 175 pounds, pulling up to a house in a limo. He gets out and notices the camera.*
Man : Bob's the name. Big Time Bob Jacobsen. I ran a federation for a while and then I stumbled upon a winning lottery ticket! Money isn't an issue, but this whole wrestling thing, I wanted to try it out. It looked like fun! And I can do it, because I'm rich, and I am in the Big Time. I AM the Big Time, Big Time Bob Jacobsen. *Bob winks at the camera as he whistles while he walks to his house. We fade back to the arena.*
Todd : I don't know, this guy rubs me the wrong way. He thinks he's better then everyone else because he won some lottery.
Peter : Sure beats working for a living. So for that matter, why in the hell has he come here?
Todd : For the best in competition, of course! Speaking of which, let's head up to the ring for this tag team contest!
Matt Striker and Dean Douglas defeated Barry Horowitz and Brad Armstrong when Striker pinned Horowitz with the Golden Rule in 0:07:12. Rating: *** [Francine interfered against Brad Armstrong.]
Todd : Matt and Dean, otherwise wanting to be called Education Express, sure showed Barry and Brad that they were hear to teach them a wrestling lesson, eh Peter?
*Peter just looks at Todd with disdain.*
Todd : Matt Striker and Dean Douglas sure seemed to gel well and as Matt showed Barry what the Golden Rule was, the bell rang and Education Express were chugging along toward possible gold here in NAWF!
Peter : Oh god, here comes that beer drinking, smoking freak, The Sandman.
*The Sandman gets into the ring and is joined by Stan Cooper.*
Stan : Sandman, welcome to NAWF!
Sandman : YO! I don't give interviews much, so I'm going to keep this short and sweet. This next match, the winner, I'm choosing as my tag team partner! Now out of my way.
*Sandman pushes past Stan and goes to the ringside area and takes a seat.*
Cactus Jack pinned CM Punk with the Double Arm DDT in 0:08:33. Rating: ** 3/4
Todd : This match was a brawl from the very beginning and it had more meaning added to it just before, as The Sandman made a bold statement and said he would choose the winner of the match as his tag team partner!
Peter : Todd, let me ask you this. CM Punk is straight edge, correct?
Todd : Yes, he has made that perfectly clear.
Peter : So why in the HELL would he want to team with the Sandman?
Todd : Well, I am not sure, but as they say, opposites attract! And boy would they make an amazing team.
Peter : We won't find out though, thank god, seeing that Cactus Jack nailed a fairly impressive Double Arm DDT on the Straight Edged Saviour and gained victory, and aparently a tag team partner.
Todd : What a tag team that will be! Talk about an extreme team!
Peter : God Todd, must you come up with these bad pus. Extreme team, we all know they used to wrestle in that ECW fed, yada yada yada. God, get with the times, that closed 10 years ago! Move on!
Todd : I wasn't even saying it because of that Peter. What is wrong with you anyways. Why are you always so grumpy?
Peter : You wanna know why Todd? Well, I'm not going to explain it to you, the shows over, I am out of here.
*Peter walks off and leaves Todd alone.*
Todd : Well folks, I apologize for my partners behavior. Tune in next week when we see the debut match of Bob Jacobsen, plus the new tag team of Cactus Jack and The Sandman will be in action and in our Main Event, Rob Van Dam will take on The Miz! So long everyone!
*Crowd is going nuts as the cameras fade to black.*

*Fireworks go off in the NAWF arena.*
Todd : Welcome everyone to Monday Night Mayhem! We have some great action tonight!
Peter : We have some action tonight! You mean.
Todd : You know, if you were positive 50 % more of the time, you would make these broadcasts that much better.
Peter : If I didn't have to do this job, I would be 100 % more positive. Oh, speaking of Positive, here comes a shining light in this federation.
*Waylon Mercy walks to the ring, shaking the hands of the fans, Peter, the ring bell ringer and the ref.*
Todd : He certainly acts nice before the bell. I feel bad for our resident wrestling vendor.
Peter : Do you even hear what your saying? He's a vendor who became a wrestler. Last week he got lucky. Tonight, the luck runs out.
Waylon Mercy made Steve Jenkins submit to the Psycho Sleeperhold in 0:12:38. Rating: ***
Peter : See?
Todd : Well Steve certainly held his own, but the ring veteran came out on top with an impressive sleeper hold. Which.. He's not letting go.. The refs are trying to get him off Steve but he's not letting go!
Peter : Finally!! This is getting good!
*Billy Kidman and Evan Bourne run down and try to attack Waylon but he leaves the ring before they get there. They check on Steve Jenkins.*
Todd : I for one hope Steve is not seriously injured. The lack of blood flow to the brain can cause some perminant damage.
Peter : He should be fine, it's not like he has a brain or anything.
Todd : Peter! Now this next contest is the in ring debut of Bob Jacobsen.
Peter : That's Big Time Bob Jacobsen. He definetly has an attitude but I can't really blame him. He has a ton of money and he wants to wrestle, and he ends up here.
Todd : Where the best talent has come! Let's head up to the ring for this match up.
Bob Jacobsen pinned Barry Horowitz after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:11:28. Rating: *** 1/4
Peter : Can you hear me now?
Todd : What a tasteless act that was, Peter. Bob nailed Barry with a phone and stole the victory...lets take a look at the highlight.
Barry Horowitz whips Bob Jacobsen into the turnbuckle. Barry Horowitz executes a snap mare on Bob Jacobsen. Barry Horowitz is going for the pin. Nick Patrick counts: One, two, thr... kickout. Barry Horowitz takes Bob Jacobsen down with a snap mare. Barry Horowitz throws Bob Jacobsen out of the ring. Nick Patrick counts: one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, Bob Jacobsen reenters the ring. Barry Horowitz puts Bob Jacobsen in a sleeperhold. Barry Horowitz lets go after 13 seconds. Barry Horowitz hits Bob Jacobsen with a dropkick. Bob Jacobsen takes the IPhone and uses it on Barry Horowitz. Bob Jacobsen is being booed like there is no tomorrow. He goes for the pin. Nick Patrick counts: One, two, three. The arena is exploding in a chorus of boos.
The winner is Bob Jacobsen. Time of match: 0:11:28
Todd : Barry had victory in his grasp and it was ripped away from him.
Peter : Hey, a win is a win and it's momentum going into the PPV in less then two weeks.
Todd : Very true, New Beginnings will feature a huge 16 man tournament... folks...Folks I am being informed we have breaking news and are sending it back to Stan Cooper who is standing by with the owner of NAWF, Kevin Stewart. Stan?
*Stan Cooper is backstage with Kevin Stewart in front of Kevins office.*
Stan : Thank you Todd. Kevin, you asked me here for an interview?
Kevin : Yes Stan. Unfortunetly, earlier today, Brian Pillman left NAWF. I am not exactly sure of the specifics, but he asked for his release and it has been granted. Now in less then two weeks, I promised a 16 man tournament for the world title here in NAWF and we will have 16 men. I will sign a 16th man by the 31st of this month so he can compete in the tournament.
Stan : Kevin, do you have any idea who this 16th man will be?
Kevin : No. I have a few calls placed but I am waiting to hear back from a few individuals. Now if you will excuse me Stan, I do need to get back to work.
Stan : Of course Kevin, thank you. Well folks, there you have it, Brian Pillman is gone from NAWF and a new wrestler will compete at the Pay Per View on January 31st for the world title. Talk about New Beginings! Todd, Peter, back to you.
*Camera fades back to ringside.*
Todd : Wow, that is a big blow, I wonder who Kevin will bring in?
Peter : Well, Brian sure had talent, so it will have to be someone who will fill his shoes...hopefully. Things can't get much worse here.
Todd : There's looking at things on the bright side, Peter. Well anyways, lets head up to our next match.
Cactus Jack and The Sandman defeated Nate Smart and Ross Kelley when Sandman pinned N. Smart with the White Russian Legsweep in 0:13:01. Rating: *
Todd : Last week, The Sandman came out before the main event between Cactus Jack and CM Punk and told them, whoever won the main event, he would look into forming a team with. Well Cactus Jack ended up winning and a team they did form and an impressive one at that!
Peter : There Hardcore Styles did mesh well, I will admit that, and Nate and Ross didn't stand a chance.
Todd : Well, they did hold there own for a while, but in the end, Sandman got the victory for his new team.
Peter : Oh boy.
Todd : What's up Pete?
Peter : It's Peter to you, and we have straight edge freak boy up at the top of the stage.
*CM Punk is at the top of the stage.*
CM Punk : Sandman, Sandman, Sandman. You come out here drinking your beer and smoking your ciggerettes. What a waste of a human being. Talk about being the complete opposite of a role model. You make me sick, and the thought of facing you makes my stomach turn, but I feel it is my duty to rid this federation of filth like you. So next week, how about we have a match, you and your hardcore freak partner over there, face myself and a partner of my choosing.
*The Sandman thinks about it, nods, and cracks open a beer. CM Punk shakes his head and leaves.*
Todd : Wow! What a match up that should be! Who do you think his partner will be, Peter?
Peter : I am not sure but things look like they may be starting to turn around here. There might be hope.
Todd : That's the spirit Peter! Let's head up to the ring for our main event.
Rob Van Dam pinned The Miz after a flying cross body press in 0:10:30. Rating: ***
Todd : This one was a true classic in the short history of NAWF. RVD was in his second main event in 3 weeks and picked up his second victory!
Peter : The Miz actually put up a decent fight, but his cocky side got the better of him when he went for a second flying dropkick, missing completely.
Todd : It was a shame, but a great contest none the less. Well folks, join us next week on our last stop before New Beginnings, when the two new comers of NAWF face off when Bob Jacobsen faces Steve Jenkins and a huge Tag Team match where The Sandman and Cactus Jack face off against CM Punk and a partner of his choosing. Take care, everyone!
*The crowd goes crazy as Monday Night Mayhem fades to black.*
