Monday Night Anarchy June 21, 2010 Verizon Wireless Arena Manchester, New Hampshire =====================
-- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Manchester, just six days before Turning Point. They announce that, tonight, Kaz will take on “The Big Red Monster” Kane, and in the main event, AJ Styles will face D’Angelo Dinero before taking on Desmond Wolfe for the Heavyweight Title on Sunday night.
-- AJ Styles and Ric Flair make their way out to the ring, getting a rousing round of boos from the crowd. Inside the ring, Flair grabs a microphone, and says that he can smell a change coming to the Horizon Wrestling League. Flair says that Desmond Wolfe has been Heavyweight Champion for way too long, and that there’s only one man on the roster to take the belt away from him: “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles. AJ then takes the microphone and says that Desmond Wolfe has had two great title defenses over the past two months, but that Wolfe hasn’t had a challenge like the one he’ll get at Turning Point. Styles says that he already has a gameplan for Wolfe, and for taking the Heavyweight Title away from him, but says he has six more days before revealing that plan; and that tonight his main focus is on D’Angelo Dinero. Styles says that he and Dinero aren’t strangers, that they’ve met in the ring before, and that Styles picked up the win. Styles says that tonight will be no different, and that with a victory, he’ll just have more momentum heading into Sunday night. Styles advises Wolfe to watch the main event, because the exact same thing will happen to him at Turning Point.
Commercial Break
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Women’s Champion Natalya, and asks for a comment about her up-coming title defense against Gail Kim. Natalya says that she was going to give credit where it’s due, saying that Gail Kim had been impressive when she was in the ring. But, Natalya says, that all of her success will end on Sunday night at Turning Point. Natalya says that there’s a reason she’s held the title for as long as she has, and it’s because she’s a better pure wrestler - and athlete - than any other Vixen in the HWL. She says that, unless someone can prove her wrong, things wouldn’t be changing for a long time.
Saritavs. Gail Kim Former TNA Knockout, Sarita, made her debut tonight taking on Gail Kim, who will be taking on Natalya for the Women’s Title at Turning Point on Sunday night. Sarita looked impressive in a match-up of two high-flying Vixens. Kim was looking to gain some momentum heading into her title match-up, but came up short as Sarita was able to hit the Tiger Driver to pick up her first-ever victory. After the match, Kim sat in the ring, holding the back of her neck, visibly upset about the loss.
Sarita pinned Gail Kim with the Tiger Driver in 11:34. Rating: *** ¼
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Yoshi Tatsu, who says that he has something to get off his chest. Tatsu says that, since last week, he’s been asked by other wrestlers and people on the streets, why he attacked CM Punk for no apparent reason last week on Anarchy; he says that tonight he would give his explanation. Tatsu says that, a few weeks back on Anarchy, he had Punk beat… but, then Serena decided to interfere and cost him a pinfall victory. Tatsu says that, now that Punk has pushed them away - and wants to prove that he can win matches on his own - he wants to prove that he can beat Punk without being handed the match because of a DQ. Tatsu says that he knows he can beat Punk, and that he plans on during it Sunday night at Turning Point.
-- In another area backstage, KANE is seen stretching before his match against Kaz, when out of nowhere, he blindsided by RANDY ORTON, who chop-blocks Kane’s knee, sending him to the floor. Orton continues the assault on Kane’s knee before warning saying that Kane will regret agreeing to their match at Turning Point.
Commercial Break
Kaz vs. Kane Kane came into this match, limping from the attack by Randy Orton, but didn’t have to test his knee as D’ANGELO DINERO came down to ringside and attacked Kaz! After the match, Kaz got to his feet and demanded that Dinero fight. But, as Dinero left ringside, Kaz turned around and was caught in a Chokeslam From Hell! Kane stood over Kaz, favoring his leg as the crowd voices their displeasure.
Kaz defeated Kane by disqualification in 1:45. Rating: ** [ D’Angelo Dinero interfered against Kaz.]
-- Backstage, Heavyweight Champion DESMOND WOLFE - and Chelsea - are seen entering the arena, when from behind, he is attacked by AJ STYLES and RIC FLAIR! Chelsea screams out in horror as Flair and Styles take Wolfe to the ground and begin stomping on him. Styles picks up the Heavyweight Title as Flair grabs Wolfe’s arms and holds them behind his back, and Styles hits Wolfe on the head with the title, opening a small gash on Wolfe’s head! Styles and Flair leave the scene as Chelsea screams for help, holding Wolfe on the floor.
-- The final preview for Turning Point is shown with “The Good Life” by Three Days Grace playing in the background. The matches announced are: Yoshi Tatsu vs. CM Punk; Randy Orton vs. Kane in a Street Fight; D’Angelo Dinero vs. Rhino for the X-Division Title; Gail Kim vs. Natalya for the Women’s Title; The British Invasion vs. The Motor City Machine Guns for the Tag Team Titles; and AJ Styles vs. Desmond Wolfe for the Heavyweight Title.
Legacy vs. The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya) Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase were announced as the “mystery” opponents for The Hart Dynasty tonight; and throughout the match, Cody Rhodes appeared to be upset that he was taking part in the match. When he was tagged in, he did what he could to help move his team towards victory, but the Dynasty came out fighting, and dominated Legacy for most of the match. At the end of the match, Rhodes had clearly had enough - and after taking a Tombstone from David Hart Smith - rolled out of the ring to compose himself. As the referee counted to ten, Rhodes gained his composure and immediately headed towards the backstage area, getting himself counted out, as Ted DiBiase looked on in disbelief.
The Hart Dynasty defeated Legacy when David Hart Smith defeated Cody Rhodes by countout in 14:05. Rating: ***
Commercial Break
-- In his office, backstage, HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw is seen sitting at his desk, when CODY RHODES bursts in through the door, demanding to know why he has to wrestle twice tonight, in two consecutive matches. Bradshaw says that Rhodes was nothing by a victim of circumstance; that the team he had originally wanted to face The Hart Dynasty wasn’t able to make it to the event, so he had no choice but to plug in a team to replace them. Bradshaw says that, even though it was unfortunate, he still was not happy to see Rhodes walk away from the match; and that he’s sure Ted DiBiase wasn’t too pleased about it either. Bradshaw says that Rhodes has another match to get ready for, but if deserts this one, there will be consequences to face…
-- Also, backstage, BRUTUS MAGNUS and ROB TERRY are seen walking through the hallways, when they are confronted by ALEX SHELLEY and CHRIS SABIN. Shelley says that The British Invasion’s words are starting to come back and bite them, because they haven’t been able to prove themselves worthy of getting a title shot on Sunday night, yet they are getting one because they’re the only team The Machine Guns haven’t beaten - or faced - yet. Sabin then says that it’s pretty sad to see the Number One Contenders getting beaten by Jay Lethal and Consequences Creed - two men who will never seen championship gold in the HWL. This sets off “Big Rob”, as he attacks Sabin, starting a brawl between the two teams. HWL officials break up the fight as both teams scream at each other while being escorted away. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels say that they are looking forward to seeing what will happen when those two teams meet at Turning Point.
Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton Cody Rhodes was given another opportunity to redeem himself in the eyes of Peter Bradshaw, after walking out of the tag team match earlier in the evening. However, Rhodes was very defiant in his second match-up, tossing the referee outside of the ring, hoping to gain an advantage over “The Viper”. Still showing signs of exhaustion, Rhodes was unable to capitalize on the lack of a referee, and was disqualified when Rod Zapata was able to re-enter the ring and call for the bell. After the match, Orton slid out of the ring as Rhodes and Zapata argued. TED DIBIASE came down to the ring and was able to persuade Rhodes backstage after a few moments.
Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes by disqualification in 4:31. Rating: ** ½
-- Backstage, D’ANGELO DINERO is seen making his way towards the stage, dressed in his ring attired, when he is attacked by RHINO, who hits Dinero with a steel chair! Rhino briefly continues the attack, smashing the chair into Dinero’s back and shoulders - bending the steel - before walking away from the scene, leaving Dinero cowering on the ground. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels wonder what kind of condition Dinero will be in to face AJ Styles in the main event; and what kind of head games Rhino is trying to play with the Number One Contender before their title match at Turning Point…
Commercial Break
-- Backstage, RANDY ORTON is seen leaving his locker room, dressed in street clothes and with a bag draped over his shoulder. The camera follows Orton as he leaves the arena and walks into the parking area outside. As he turns a corner, around a concrete wall, he is viciously attacked by KANE! Still limping from the earlier chop-block by Orton, Kane lands a few hard punches to Orton’s head and body before slamming him into the concrete wall! With Orton slumped onto the pavement, Kane continues the assault, stomping Orton’s midsection until “The Viper” is unable to defend himself any longer. Bending down, Kane gets closer to Orton, and tells him that he has a one-way ticket to Hell; and that after Turning Point, Orton will never be the same. Kane laughs as he walks away from the scene, leaving Orton on the pavement; a small trickle of blood coming from his lips. Josh Daniels speculates that the attack has caused Orton to bleed internally, and wonders what sort of condition Orton will be in on Sunday night…
’Angelo Dinero vs. AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair) D’Angelo Dinero had the cards stacked against him tonight, as he took on AJ Styles - who was looking to pick up a victory on his way to Turning Point - while trying to fight through a pre-match attack by Rhino! Dinero’s frustration - and his need to overcome the adversity - fueled him into a dominating performance against the Number One Contender for the Heavyweight Title. Styles fought back as best he could, but still needed help from “The Nature Boy”, who quickly placed Styles’ foot on the bottom rope after Dinero hit the DDE and went for the pin. But, even Flair’s interference and assistance of Styles wasn’t enough to give “The Phenomenal One” a victory, as Dinero rolled Styles up with a sunset flip for the victory! After the match, both Styles and Flair argued that Dinero had held Styles’ trunks, but the referee would hear none of it.
D’Angelo Dinero pinned AJ Styles with a flying sunset flip in 6:58. Rating: *** ¾ [Ric Flair interfered against D’Angelo Dinero.]

HWL Turning Point PPV June 27, 2010 Blue Cross Arena Rochester, New York
-- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Rochester as fireworks explode inside the Blue Cross Arena; “The Good Life” by Three Days Grace blasts through the air. They announce the attendance at 8,120 for tonight’s event.
HWL Women’s Title Match Gail Kim vs. © Natalya Both of these Vixens showed up to fight, as they were given the challenge of getting the crowd heated up for the event. It didn’t take long for the crowd to get into the match as Gail Kim threw the Champion outside the ring, and the ensuing brawl that almost resulted in a double count-out. However, Natalya showed - once again - why she has been Women’s Champion for so long, fighting back and hitting the Discus Lariat to pick up the victory and retain her title.
Natalya pinned Gail Kim after a Discus Lariat in 6:22. Rating: ** ½ (Natalya retained the HWL Women’s Title.)
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with CM PUNK. Punk says that he agrees that tonight is Yoshi Tatsu’s chance to prove that he could beat Punk without the help of outside interference. Punk says that, also, tonight is the night that he proves that he doesn’t need anyone on his side to help him win matches… or to take them away from him. Punk says that it’s been a while since he last got his hand raised based on pure talent and skills inside the ring; he says that tonight, that trend continues.
-- Also, backstage, Heavyweight Champion DESMOND WOLFE - and Chelsea - are seen entering the arena. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels wonder who kind of condition Wolfe and his opponent - AJ Styles - are going to be in for tonight’s Heavyweight Title match.
Yoshi Tatsu vs. CM Punk CM Punk said, earlier tonight, that he was going to use this match to prove that he didn’t need anyone by his side; and he made good on that claim, but he had to bend the rules to do it. Tatsu came out strong, wanting to get his own victory over Punk, and his aggression caused Punk to cause a blatant knockdown of the referee which opened up an opportunity for Punk. But, Tatsu was able to come back and even things up -outside the ring- causing Punk to bleed from the forehead, after sending Punk into the guardrail. However, Punk was able to fight his way back into control, and hit the G.T.S for the victory.
CM Punk pinned Yoshi Tatsu with the G.T.S. in Rating:
An advertisement for the next HWL pay-per-view: JUSTICE is shown. The event will take place on July 25, 2010, live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Randy Orton, who is dressed in his ring gear - with a large bandage wrapped around his ribs. Orton says that he can’t remember the last time he has been so angry; so ready - and willing - to end someone’s career. Orton says that he knows Kane is bigger, stronger, and more powerful then he is, but that it won’t stop Orton from coming out tonight and beating the hell out of Kane. Orton says that this match isn’t about finishing moves and what kind of technical skills either of them have; this match is all about who wants to beat their opponent into a bloody pulp on that arena floor. Orton says that tonight, with the odds stacked against him, that’s exactly what he plans on doing.
-- A short video package is shown, highlighting the events leading up to the Tag Team Title match, between The British Invasion and The Motor City Machine Guns.
Tag Team Title Match The British Invasion vs. © The Motor City Machine Guns If the crowd in Rochester was not into this event, this match certainly grabbed their attention. For weeks, these two teams have been throwing out insult after insult, claiming that they would show up each other, only to be outdone by their weekly opponents. Tonight, they finally met up and let their anger and frustration out in a brutal match. The Machine Guns almost had the match won as Chris Sabin hit the Made in Detroit, but Brutus Magnus was able to get his foot on the ropes. The referee allowed the match to go past the time limit, and it was exactly what the champions needed, as Alex Shelley hit the Slice Bread #2 to pick up the victory and retain the Tag Team Titles.
The Motor City Machine Guns defeated The British Invasion when Alex Shelley pinned Big Rob with the Slice Bread #2 in 24:12. Rating: *** (The Motor City Machine Guns retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.)
-- Backstage, AJ STYLES and RIC FLAIR are seen entering the arena as the crowd voices their displeasure from inside the ring area.
Another advertisement for the next up-coming pay-per-view: JUSTICE is shown. The event will take place on July 25, 2010, live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois..
-- A video package is shown highlighting the events that led up to the Street Fight between RANDY ORTON and KANE.
Street Fight Randy Orton vs. Kane The feud between these two started over a month ago when Randy Orton interfered in one of Kane’s matches. That interference set off a torrent of sneak attacks that left both men bloody and damaged before tonight’s Street Fight even began. Even with this match being sanctioned - and knowing their must be a winner - the referee did his best to stay out of their way when the bell rang. They battled each other all over the ringside area, never taking the match through the arena itself, but they didn’t need to. Orton thought he had the match won, after hitting Kane with the ring bell outside the ring, but was unable to get the fall as “The Big Red Monster” kicked out at two. Infuriated, Orton attacked the referee, hitting a belly-to-belly suplex on the concrete floor! The crowd booed Orton, as it was a side of him they hadn’t seen in recent months; but he showed no remorse for his actions as he re-entered the ring, with the bell firmly in his grasp. However, taking his attention off his opponent proved to be “The Viper’s” downfall as Kane caught him in the Chokeslam From Hell just as the referee was making it back to his feet. Kane made the easy cover and picked up the victory.
Kane pinned Randy Orton with the Choke Slam From Hell in 14:15. Rating: **** ¼
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is shown with Heavyweight Champion DESMOND WOLFE and Chelsea. Wolfe is sporting a bandage on his head, from the attack by AJ Styles and Ric Flair, Monday night, and Alisha asks how the champion is doing. Wolfe says that he’s still groggy from the head shot, but that the doctors - and the HWL trainers - have given him permission to wrestle tonight. He says that Styles and Flair had to sneak attack him, because they both know that AJ doesn’t stand a chance against him in a straight-up fight. Wolfe says that he’s not worried about the stitches or the injury - he’d bled many times before - but, that nothing is going to keep him from getting his revenge on Styles tonight… and if he’s lucky, he’ll get his hands on Flair when it’s all set and done.
-- Also, backstage, D’ANGELO DINERO is seen walking towards the stage entrance, when he is stopped by KAZ. Dinero asks Kaz how he’s feeling after his match with Kane on Monday night; Kaz stuns Dinero with a quick slap in the face! Before Dinero can retaliate, Kaz reminds him that he has a title match… and that he doesn’t want to jeopardize it. But, Kaz says that, whether Dinero wins or loses tonight, they will meet up, it’s only a matter of when.
The final advertisement is shown for JUSTICE. The event will take place on July 25, 2010, live from the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
X-Division Title Match D’Angelo Dinero vs. © Using the confrontation with Kaz before the match as added motivation, Dinero came out swinging and took the fight to the “Beast of the Motor City”. Dinero was all over the ring, not allowing Rhino the time to get many moves in at the beginning of the match. But when Rhino was able to get a hold of the challenger - especially outside the ring - he wasted no time in evening things up. Eventually, the match made it’s way back into the ring, where Dinero took advantage of a miss Gore attempt to connect with the DDE for the pinfall victory and to WIN the X-Division Title. After the match Dinero celebrated with the belt, in the center of the ring, as he received a mixed reaction from the Rochester crowd.
D’Angelo Dinero pinned Rhino with the DDE in 11:39. Rating: **** ¼ (D’Angelo Dinero won the HWL X-Division Title.)
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is with AJ STYLES and RIC FLAIR. Styles says that he is going to put an end to Desmond Wolfe’s unbeaten streak, and in the process, take the Heavyweight Title back. Styles says that tonight is the moment he’s been working for, ever since re-joining the HWL, and that anything less than winning the Heavyweight Title would be considered a failure. Flair interjects, and says that tonight, Wolfe - and rest of the HWL - will know why AJ Styles is phenomenal, and that he will be the greatest Heavyweight Champion of all-time. Wooo!
-- A video package is shown, highlighting the events leading up to the Heavyweight Title Match.
HWL Heavyweight Title Match AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair) vs. © Desmond Wolfe (w/Chelsea At the start of the match, Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discussed Desmond Wolfe’s undefeated record, and how, to-date, he has been the longest-reigning Heavyweight Champion in the history of the HWL. Styles got the upper hand, attacking Wolfe before the bell sounded, and took the advantage, getting a close near-fall minutes into the main event! Wolfe was able to fight back, and even things up, as the tide turned back and forth throughout the rest of the match. Seeing his chance to strike, Wolfe connected with the Jawbreaker Lariat, but the count was interrupted as RIC FLAIR jumped onto the apron, stopping the count. However, in a show of emotion, CHELSEA grabbed Flair’s leg and pulled him off the apron, getting a huge cheer from the crowd! Stunned by what he saw, Flair stared at Chelsea as, inside the ring, Wolfe connected with a flying cross body - catching Styles off guard - and securing another successful title defense.
Desmond Wolfe pinned AJ Styles after a flying cross body press in 9:30. Rating: **** ¼ (Desmond Wolfe retained the HWL Heavyweight Title.)

OK, I have read up to and including Fully Loaded, so I will give some feedback now. Positive: - You write very well and in a style and format that I like to read. - It's always cool to see a mix of TNA and WWE talent, especially since you've obviously gone for the better ones, workrate-wise. - Desmond Wolfe as the champ is awesome - You're doing well booking what TNM gives you and taking it from there Negative: - I really don't like unbooked circuits for a variety of reasons. You mentioned that you'd probably start booking eventually, and after the first PPV some results look more booked than others. It's not that you get the wrong winners (well, except the Bella Twin ), but you get a lot of strange match times and finishing moves. A title match ending in 1:50 by countout is a bad payoff for a feud. Winning by reverse chinlock or headscissors submission also devalues the losing wrestler in my opinion. You do also risk that the top contender for a title loses matches leading up to the PPV (which has happened with you). If this had happened in real life, I would scratch my head and wonder who the booker is. Well, that's really only the negative comments I have. I kinda understand why people want to run unbooked circuits (the excitement and the challenge of taking something you've no control over and doing the best out of it), but with your writing skills and booking talent, I really think you should go for all-out booking, booking not only the winners, but also the time and finishing move.

Thank you for your comments. I'm glad that you found more positive than negative in my circuit! But, I do understand that the one negative is a big issue with a lot of people on the forums. I realize I've said that I'd like to go into booking more often, and I've tried doing so over the past few cards, but it seems to be a slow-moving process for me. I've already gotten some good ideas leading into the next PPV, and I'm hoping that a change will be made before then or AT the PPV. And, I agree, the thrill of having unexpected things happen with an unbooked circuit makes things a lot more interesting; especially if you're like me, and don't have a whole lot of experience with booking entire shows for an extended period of time. And, I appreciate your comment about my writing style, but I really think it could only get me so far without the substance behind it.

Monday Night Anarchy June 28, 2010 HSBC Arena Buffalo, New York
-- Pictures are shown from the AJ Styles-Desmond Wolfe main event from last night with “The Good Life” by Three Days Grace playing in the background.
-- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome the at-home audience to Buffalo, New York, where a crowd of 14,204 is ready to see the aftermath of Turning Point. They announce that tonight, Kaz will take on new X-Division Champion D’Angelo Dinero, in a non-title match. And, that in tonight’s main event, MVP will take on “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan.
-- HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw, comes out to the ring to a stunned response from the crowd. Inside the ring, Bradshaw asks the crowd if they enjoyed Turning Point last night, and smiles at the reaction from the crowd. Bradshaw congratulates the winners of the matches last night, but says that its time to look forward to Justice on July 25th. Bradshaw then says that he is out tonight, to make an announcement that will shock some people in the audience and at home, but that he can’t make the announcement alone; he then requests that ALEX SHELLEY join him in the ring.
Alex Shelley makes his way onto the stage, alone, carrying one of the HWL Tag Team Titles over his shoulder. He reluctantly makes his way down the ramp, staring a hole through the Owner, and shaking his head without looking at the crowd surrounding the ramp. Inside the ring, Shelley stands silently beside Bradshaw, as he announces that Shelley’s partner - CHRIS SABIN - chose not to re-sign his contract, and has effectively left the Horizon Wrestling League. And, because of that, Bradshaw says that he has no other choice but to vacate the titles; he demands that Shelley hand over the belt.
After getting the belt, and watching Shelley leave the ring, Bradshaw announces that tonight, later in the show, their will be a match between LEGACY and THE HART DYNASTY to name new champions.
Commercial Break
Angelina Love vs. Daffney It had been a few weeks since either of these Vixens were in the ring, but neither of them showed much sign of rust since their last matches, respectively. Daffney came out strong, getting a few near falls on one half of The Beautiful People. However, her aggression got the better of her as, after what she thought was a slow count, Daffney threw the referee into the ring post! Another referee came down to the ring, but Daffney was unable to keep the momentum, as Angelina came back to even things up. Eventually, the original referee gained his composure and called for the bell, disqualifying Daffney. After the match, Daffney lost it and attacked Angelina as both officials tried to pull her away. VELVET SKY came down to the ring, and pulled Angelina out of the ring, as Daffney laughed hysterically as TBP made their way up the ramp.
Angelina Love defeated Daffney by disqualification in 7:31. Rating: * ¾
-- Backstage, CM Punk is seen walking through the hallways, when he bumps into Luke Gallows and Serena. Punk tells Gallows to get out of his way, and asks why both of them are still around, saying that there’s no point form them to be here. Gallows chuckles and says that he and Serena had their reasons for still hanging around; one of them being to see if Punk was capable of backing up his promise of winning a match without them. Gallows says that he was surprised by Punk’s victory over Yoshi Tatsu last night, but wondered if Punk was capable of getting a streak going. Gallows chuckles again as he walks away; Serena slaps Punk on the arm as she follows behind Gallow.
-- Also, backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with ALEX SHELLEY, and asks what’s going through his mind after the recent events over the last 24 hours. Shelley says that he had no idea that Chris Sabin wasn’t going to re-sign his contract; that he thought he knew Sabin better than that. Shelley says that Sabin not only skipped out on his contract, but also on any possible reunion of the Machine Guns. Shelley then says that, earlier tonight, handing over the tag team titles, and being told that he’d have to watch new champions be crowned tonight, was one of the hardest things he’s had to go through. But, he says that tonight was the only way that the titles were ever going to leave the Machine Guns; and that the rest of the tag team division could thank Chris Sabin for having the titles taken away.
Evan Bourne vs. Kurt Angle Evan Bourne and Kurt Angle were both coming off losses two weeks ago and looking to get back on track. Bourne gave a great effort against his bigger opponent, but Angle came out strong and carried the entire match. Angle was able to hit the Angle Slam to pick up the victory.
Kurt Angle pinned Evan Bourne after the Angle Slam in 5:59. Rating: ***
Commercial Break
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks catches up with AJ STYLES and RIC FLAIR. AJ says that a lot of stuff happened that took everyone’s attention away from what was going on inside the ring. He says that he had Desmond Wolfe right where he wanted him; that AJ was going to finally end Wolfe’s winning streak, but because the referee got distracted before Wolfe pinned AJ, the referee didn’t see that Wolfe was holding onto AJ’s trunks. AJ says that he and Wolfe both know that it’s the truth, and because of that, AJ demands a rematch for the Heavyweight Title, at Justice. Flair then interjects and says he has a message for Chelsea. Flair says it was cute of Chelsea to put herself in harm’s way to save Desmond Wolfe from getting blind-sided, but Flair says if she thinks about doing it again, he won’t hesitate to show her how wrong of a decision that is. Wooo!
-- New X-Division Champion D’ANGELO DINERO is seen walking through the hallway and is approached by MONTEL VONTAVIOS PORTER. MVP congratulates Dinero on the victory and says that it was about time that Rhino lost the belt; but, he says that it’s a shame he wasn’t the one who took the title from him. MVP says that would’ve been the way to do it: to have MVP take the belt from the man who beat him for it the first place. MVP says that, since that wasn’t how things went down, he’d have to settle for taking the title off Dinero when the time was right.
HWL Tag Team Title Match Legacy vs. The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya) Both of these teams had the chance to do something huge tonight; they both had the chance to be the next Tag Team Champions after a lengthy reign by The Motor City Machine Guns. All four men put their bodies - and hearts - on the line in this match, fighting all over the ring and outside the ring, nearly getting counted out on several occasions. The match also had plenty of near-falls, but neither team was going to allow their opponents to get the better of them. Therefore, as the match neared the 20-minute mark, the referee had no other choice but to call for the bell, ending the match in a DRAW. After the match, both teams entered the ring and began to brawl - much to the enjoyment of the fans - but, it was quickly broken up by HWL officials.
Legacy and The Hart Dynasty battled to a draw in 20:00. Rating: * ¾ (The HWL Tag Team Titles remained vacant.)
-- A preview for the up-coming pay-per-view, JUSTICE, is shown as “Another Way to Die” by Disturbed plays in the background. --
Commercial Break
-- Coming back from the break, Alisha Hicks is seen backstage with Desmond Wolfe and Chelsea. Chelsea stands quietly behind Wolfe as the Heavyweight Champion responds to comments made earlier by AJ Styles. Wolfe mentions that AJ thinks he held AJ’s trunks during their match last night, at Turning Point, but tells AJ to “watch the tape”, and that he would be cleared of any wrong doing. However, Wolfe says that, if AJ were in the same position, he’d probably pull Wolfe’s trunks if he knew he wouldn’t get caught. He then switched topics and brought up AJ’s challenge for a rematch at Justice. Wolfe says that he hasn’t lost a single bout since he stepped foot into the HWL, and that another match against AJ would just add to that feat; but, Wolfe says that he wants to make their next match a little more interesting. Wolfe says that, if AJ wants another shot at taking the title, then he would have to do it inside the confines of a steel cage. Wolfe then switched topics and said that he had a special message for Ric Flair. Wolfe said that, if Flair ever laid a hand on Chelsea for any other reason, Wolfe would make sure to do what Flair’s infamous plane crash couldn’t…
Non-Title Match Kaz vs. © D’Angelo Dinero There has been a pretty turbulent history between Kaz and Dinero in recent history, stemming back to the re-opening of the HWL, but it all came to a head last night at Turning Point. Kaz told “The Pope” that, one day, they’d meet in the ring again, whether or not Dinero was X-Division Champion. He made his distaste clear with a slap in the face! But, all that did was fuel Dinero into defeating Rhino and winning the X-Division Title. And, tonight, Kaz got his wish - a little sooner than he’d hope - but, he found himself in the ring with the newly crowned champion; and “The Pope” surely wasn’t about to forgive Kaz for his actions 24 hours ago. Kaz wanted to prove - to himself and the fans - that he was better than Dinero. All Dinero wanted to do was show that his title win wasn’t a fluke, and that’s exactly what he did. Fueled by his anger towards Kaz, Dinero didn’t allow his opponent much offense, as he took hi time wearing Kaz down. Dinero connected with the DDE, but wasn’t able to get the three-count, as Kaz had fallen close to the ropes. Sensing that Kaz had had enough, Dinero picked up him for a vertical face buster and picked up the victory. After the match, Dinero stood in the center of the ring - with the X-Division Title over his shoulder - and stared at the carnage he had created.
D’Angelo Dinero pinned Kaz after a vertical face buster in 11:51. Rating: ** ¾
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with JAY LETHAL, who is dressed in street clothes and appears to be upset. When asked, Lethal says that haven’t been too many times that he’s been upset or disgusted by things that happen inside the business. He says that last night, when Consequences Creed told him that he wouldn’t be re-signing with the HWL, it was one of the biggest shocks of his career. But, after 24 hours of thinking about it, and trying to find ways to move on, he says that the only thing he could think of was this: Creed was tired of waiting around for his chance to become a champion in the HWL; he was tired of being held back so that other teams could get the chances he felt he and Lethal were deserving. Lethal said that Creed’s reasoning behind leaving was the same reason Lethal resigned with the company; so that with or without Creed, he would make the best of his time and try to do what he hadn’t been able to do: win championship gold. Lethal tells Alisha that now he’s free; he has no tag team partner to worry about. He can go out and do what he feels is the best for his career, and he doesn’t have to answer to anyone.
-- In an abandoned area of the arena, standing alone, MATT MORGAN stares into the video camera, dressed in his ring attire. With a slight smirk, he says that he’s been out of the picture for a few weeks, because he’s had to deal with the fact that he wasn’t able to finish off Kurt Angle, when he had him right where he wanted Angle. Morgan says that their match at Fully Loaded was one of the biggest disappointments of his career - outside of losing the HWL Heavyweight Title to AJ Styles. But, Morgan says, that he’s done hiding in the shadows; and that if he were given another chance at Kurt Angle, the results would be drastically different. He then says, that tonight, MVP happened to be the one the draw the short straw, and that any hopes of winning just got a little smaller.
Commercial Break
Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Matt Morgan “The Blueprint” came out to the ring looking like a man with a mission to destroy everything in his path, and the crowd couldn’t wait to see what he had in-store for Porter. MVP, coming off his challenge to D’Angelo Dinero, had something up his sleeve for his much larger opponent. Porter came out with a flash of offense, taking Morgan by surprise, but Morgan quickly retaliated and used his strength to gain the upper hand. Morgan looked to have the match in-hand, but MVP quickly ducked behind the referee as Morgan went for the Big Boot! With the referee down, and Morgan trying to revive him, Porter slipped outside the ring and pulled something out of his attire. As the referee got up, and Morgan turned his attention back to the match, Porter connected with a right hand - covered in brass knuckles! Dazed, Morgan was an easy target as Porter hit the Playmaker for the victory! After the match, Porter dashed out of the ring - with the crowd booing him all the way - as a small cut began to bleed on Morgan’s forehead.

Monday Night Anarchy July 5, 2010 Air Canada Centre Toronto, Ontario, Canada
-- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Toronto, and wish everyone in the U.S. a happy Forth of July. Just three weeks away Justice, it is announced that tonight’s main event will be a Heavyweight Title rematch between Mr. Anderson and Desmond Wolfe. Also, tonight, Yoshi Tatsu takes on Montel Vontavious Porter, and Sarita takes on Nikki Bella.
-- The show starts off with HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw, making his way out to the ring for the second week in a row. The crowd murmurs as he makes his way down to the ring; and the camera focuses on a pedestal, located in the center of the ring, covered in a black sheet. Inside the ring, Bradshaw says that he was a little unhappy with the outcome of the Tag Team Title match last week, saying that a draw is no way to have a match end, especially when a vacant title is on the line. Bradshaw then says that he has made sure that tonight’s rematch would have a clear-cut winner, making it a two-out-of-three-falls match. And, to add extra incentive to both teams, he unveils two newly designed tag team title belts; saying that either Legacy or The Hart Dynasty will be the first team to ever carry the new belts in the HWL. Bradshaw then leaves the ring as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss the new titles and what they might mean for both teams later tonight.

Jay Lethal vs. CM Punk Over the past week weeks, CM Punk has gone through a change inside the ring. He’s been on an impressive winning streak, and was looking to continue that trend tonight, against “Black Machismo”, who was making his singles debut. Not having a tag team partner to replace him, Jay Lethal appeared to be out of his game, as the singles veteran beat Lethal around the ring for first few minutes of the match. But, knowing he had nowhere to turn, Lethal found a way to fight back; his biggest achievement was to kick out after Punk connected with the G.T.S. In the end, Lethal took advantage of a mistake by Punk, hitting a reverse neck breaker for a two-count. Seeing Punk, still prone on the ground, Lethal headed for the top rope and hit a Flying Elbowdrop to pick up his first singles victory in the HWL! After the match, Lethal slid out of the ring and celebrated with the fans at ringside.
Jay Lethal pinned CM Punk with the Flying Elbowdrop in 14:37. Rating: *** ¼
Commercial Break
-- Coming back from the commercial break, “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase is seen entering the arena. The crowd murmurs from the ringside area, as DiBiase makes his way through the backstage area, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels speculate as to why he is at the arena…
Sarita vs. Nikki Bella It had been a couple weeks since either of these Vixens had been in the ring; and Sarita was coming an impressive debut victory over former number one contender, Gail Kim. Both ladies showed impressive skills in the ring, but Sarita used her experience to gain the upper hand on the Bella twin, nearly getting Nikki to tap out, before hitting the Tiger Driver for the three-count. After the match, and a small argument over what she thought was a fast count, Nikki Bella fell to her knees and began to cry; Sarita made her way up the ramp to encouraging chants from the crowd. As Sarita acknowledged the crowd, NATALYA came from behind and attacked her with the Women’s Title! The crowd’s cheers quickly turned to boos as Natalya stood over Sarita’s prone body.
Sarita pinned Nikki Bella with the Tiger Driver in 6:55. Rating: ** ¼
Commercial Break
-- Coming back from commercial break, a preview for Justice is shown, hyping the Heavyweight Title match between AJ Styles and champion Desmond Wolfe, that will be taking place inside a steel cage! The event will take place on July 25th, live from Chicago, Illinois.
-- Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, dressed in a black suit, to a tremendous ovation from the crowd. Inside the ring he says that he wanted to come out and respond - in the middle of the ring - to a statement made by Matt Morgan last week. Angle said that Morgan let his frustrations about their match at Fully Loaded get the best of him last week, and he lost an embarrassing match against MVP. Though, Angle says that MVP’s tactics weren’t the greatest, and it’s a shame that the referee didn’t realize what happened, but Matt Morgan should’ve known to be aware of who he was facing. Angle then says that, for the same reasons, Morgan wasn’t able to beat him at Fully Loaded; and that he was a little disappointed that Morgan couldn’t find the strength to get back to his feet and make it back inside the ring so that Angle could make him tap out in the center of the ring. But, Angle says that he has nothing to do on July 25th, and if Matt Morgan really wants a second chance at proving he can’t beat him, then Angle is fair game. Angle says that he’s been in a good mood lately, and that because of it, he’ll even let Morgan pick a stipulation if he wants one.
Angle is quickly interrupted as MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER appears on-stage to a roar of boos. MVP says it’s funny how Angle thinks he knows what kind of opponent - or person - MVP is, and says if Angle thinks he can do better than Matt Morgan, then they should find out next week. Angle commends MVP on his “guts”, and agrees to the match, saying that it’d be a great warm-up for Justice. The two of them stare at each other, from across the arena, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels hype the challenge.
Commercial Break
HWL Tag Team Title Match 2-out-of-3 Falls The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya) vs. Legacy These two teams were quite eager to get this match under way tonight, and the stipulation added by Peter Bradshaw guaranteed that a winner would be named at the end. Both teams came out swinging for the first fall, with the Hart Dynasty looking to be the more aggressive team. However, as the match wore on, the speed and quickness of Legacy helped slow down their opponents. Cody Rhodes was able to pick up the first fall of the night, pinning David Hart Smith with the Cross Rhodes. Quickly, the second fall went to the Hart Dynasty, as David Hart Smith was able to catch Rhodes with a thunderous boot to the midsection; Tyson Kidd - the legal man - connected with the Springboard Elbowdrop to even the score at one fall apiece. Finally, the match came down to the last fall, and with both teams winded, it came down to the two freshest men: Ted DiBiase and Tyson Kidd. All four men continued to battle as hard as they could, but the match had clearly taken a toll on all of them. Feeling the brunt of it was Smith, who was breathing very heavy at the end, leaving Kidd to fend for himself. The task appeared to be harder then believed as he found himself the victim of the Dream Street. DiBiase made the pinfall to capture the Tag Team Titles for Legacy! After the match, as DiBiase and Rhodes were being awarded their titles; Natalya entered the ring and connected with a vicious chairshot to DiBiase’s back! She quickly left the ring before Rhodes could retaliate, and The Hart Dynasty made their way up the ramp, much to the ire of the Toronto crowd.
Legacy defeated The Hart Dynasty 2-falls-to-1: X Cody Rhodes beat D. H. Smith with the Cross Rhodes in 8:33. X Tyson Kidd beat Cody Rhodes with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 12:05 X Ted DiBiase beat Tyson Kidd with the Dream Street in 15:25. Rating: **** ¼ (Legacy won the HWL Tag Team Titles.)

-- Backstage, Velvet Sky confronts Daffney about the attack on Angelina Love last week. Velvet says that Daffney is “super crazy” and needs to be removed from the HWL. Velvet says that, not only is Daffney a risk to every woman in the locker room, but that she’s the ugliest woman in the company! Velvet demands that Daffney stay away from her and Angelina before storming away. But, as quickly as Velvets walks away, Daffney attacks her from behind, pulling Velvet’s hair and screaming out in rage! HWL officials pull Daffney off of Velvet and separate the two of them as Daffney claims that she’s not finished with Velvet.
Yoshi Tatsu vs. Montel Vontavious Porter Montel Vontavious Porter came into this match after a huge victory over Matt Morgan last week, but found himself facing a tenacious Yoshi Tatsu, who was coming off a tough loss against CM Punk. Tatsu started off strong, using his speed and agility to get the advantage over MVP, but Porter wasn’t going to lay down heading into an X-Division Title match against D’Angelo Dinero at Justice. Porter ended the match after hitting the Playmaker to pick up the victory.
Montel Vontavious Porter pinned Yoshi Tatsu with the Playmaker in 8:02. Rating: ** ¾

Non-Title Match Mr. Anderson vs. © Desmond Wolfe (w/Chelsea) These two men have a lot of history between them, including a vicious match at Fully Loaded that saw Wolfe retain the title. Tonight, however, the title wasn’t on the line, but Wolfe’s spotless record was; and Mr. Anderson was looking to come out on top - to be the one who broke the streak. He got a little bit of help from the very beginning as AJ STYLES made his way down to the ring, and immediately got involved in the action, pulling the ropes down and sending Wolfe to the outside. Styles’ presence at ringside clearly affected the champion as he wasn’t able to sustain any amount of offense during the match. But, with his ability to survive, Wolfe was able to kick out of the Mic Check on more than one occasion! Seeing that he couldn’t put the champ down, Anderson resorted to using brass knuckles; and even then, wasn’t able to get a pinfall! Frustrated, Anderson stayed on the attack, but Wolfe dodged a bullet when he ducked a clothesline and connected with the Jawbreaker Lariat. But, as luck would have it, AJ Styles quickly entered the ring and broke up the pinfall, attacking Wolfe, and getting Anderson disqualified. Wolfe continued his winning streak tonight, but after the match, Styles, Anderson, and Ric Flair made a bloody mess of the Heavyweight Champion as Chelsea looked on in horror…

Monday Night Anarchy July 12, 2010 Joe Louis Arena Detroit, Michigan -- A clip from last week’s main event is shown between Desmond Wolfe and Mr. Anderson. The clip ends with Styles breaking up Wolfe’s pin attempt, and the post-match attack by Styles, Anderson, and Ric Flair. -- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to the “Motor City” of Detroit, just 13 days away from JUSTICE. It is announced that, due to the attack he suffered last week, Desmond Wolfe would not be at the arena tonight. But AJ Styles will be in action, taking on David Hart Smith. Also, in action tonight, Montel Vontavious Porter will face Kurt Angle.
-- For the second week in a row, HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw comes out to the ring to start off the program. He says that, after weeks of thought, he has devised a system for the entire HWL roster in the hopes of bettering the competition in the ring, and to properly name deserving challengers for the four HWL Titles. Bradshaw says that nothing will change the current card for Justice on July 25, but starting the Monday after, the new Ranking System will be put into place. He then issues the athletes in the back the chance to offer up suggestions, if they disagree, but to do so in his office only. He then wishes the Detroit crowd a good evening before leaving the ring, leaving the crowd in a state of unknowing shock.
Commercial Break
Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya) vs. Alex Shelley The Detroit crowd got a big surprise tonight as their hometown favorite, Alex Shelley made his singles debut against one-half of the Hart Dynasty. Shelley definitely had the crowd behind him tonight, but Kidd was looking for a small bit or redemption after coming up short-handed in the Hart Dynasty’s bid to win the Tag Team Titles last week; and, as always, Natalya would be a threat at ringside. The match started off as expected, with both men showing off their speed and aerial skills, but Kidd had the extra advantage of the Women’s Champion outside the ring. Natalya used that advantage wisely, distracting Shelley throughout the match, and ultimately leading him to walk blindly into a Springboard Elbowdrop that Kidd used to pick up the victory. After the match, as Kidd and Natalya left the ring, the Detroit crowd respectively applauded their own as Shelley got to his feet.
Tyson Kidd pinned Alex Shelley with a Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:15:49. Rating: *** ½

-- Backstage, YOSHI TATSU is seen stretching when he is approached by KAZ. Kaz says that this is their time to shine; that they were impressive in their first tag match together, and that if they’re successful again, they could find themselves getting closer to the Tag Team Titles. Tatsu stands, and says that the two of them worked well for one night, but that there’s still a lot of tension between them based around the X-Division Title. He says that, tonight, they must work together one more time against The British Invasion, and that after that they can see if the Tag Team Titles are something reachable…
Daffney vs. Velvet Sky This match was signed last week after Velvet Sky confronted Daffney about a post-match attack on Angelina Love two weeks ago, and Velvet wanted to get some retribution for her Beautiful People partner. She put up a valiant effort tonight, but the craziest Vixen on the roster - and the more experienced - used a mixed of skills and psychotic behavior to get the better of her opponent. Daffney was able to hit the Lobotomy - a move that hasn’t been seen too often here in the HWL - to pick up the victory. After the match, the deranged Vixen unleashed a fury of punches onto Velvet while screaming, before the referee was able to pull her away and escort her out of the ring. Velvet Sky looked on in horror as Daffney and the referee left ringside.
Daffney pinned Velvet Sky with the Lobotomy in 0:13:29. Rating: ** ½

-- Coming back from the break, the newly crowned Tag Team Champions, LEGACY, make their way to the ring; the new Tag Team titles wrapped securely around their waists. Cody Rhodes grabs a microphone and says that he couldn’t feel better than he does right now with the titles in his and Ted DiBiase’s possession. He says that he and Ted had to wait a very long time, but that it was worth waiting for, when the referee’s hand went down for the one-two-three last week against The Hart Dynasty. Rhodes says that it was only a matter of time before they would be named champions, and now that they have the titles, they plan on holding onto them for as long as possible.
Ted DiBiase then gets on the microphone, and says that they are going to be fighting champions; not like the former champions, who he won’t mention by name. He says that they are out, tonight, to issue an open challenge to any of the remaining teams on the HWL roster for a Tag Team Title match at Justice on July 25th.
This brings out THE HART DYNASTY, who walk on-stage as the crowd roars in cheers. David Hart Smith says that there is only one reason behind Legacy being Tag Team Champions, and they have no one to thank but “The Million Dollar Man” Ted DiBiase, Sr. Smith then asks for a video to be played on the Titantron, that shows footage from backstage at last week’s show. The footage shows Ted DiBiase, Sr. offering the referee a large wad of cash in return for calling the match in Legacy’s favor. The clip ends, and the arena rocks with boos as DiBiase and Rhodes look around in horror. Smith says that, if nothing else, they deserve a rematch at Justice before anyone else on the roster. And, he says if Legacy doesn’t accept, then they will have to answer to the Owner, himself. The Hart Dynasty leaves the stage as Cody Rhodes stares at Ted DiBiase in the center of the ring.

Yoshi Tatsu/Kaz vs. The British Invasion It had been some time since Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz teamed up in an HWL ring, but tonight they tried their luck again, taking on The British Invasion. Brutus Magnus and Rob Terry have been having some trouble of their own, losing their last two matches after very impressive debut some time ago. Their troubles seemed to continue tonight as DAVID HART SMITH surprisingly made his way down to the ring and attacked Rob Terry! However, after the attack, tonight, they were the stronger and more well-aligned team which proved to serve them very well. Tatsu and Kaz had their moments of friendly partnership, but more often than not, they tried to out-do each other inside the ring. This gave The British Invasion all the needed as Rob Terry was able to decapitate Tatsu with a Jumping Spin Kick to pick up the victory. A

-- Coming back from the break, Velvet Sky and Angelina Love are seen in Peter Bradshaw’s office, and demand that they face Daffney next week in a Handicap Match. Velvet says that it’s not fair, the way Daffney has been treating them over the last few weeks; and Angelina says they want to teach her a lesson. Bradshaw says that he has noticed the way Daffney has been acting, and that he will give their request some thought. The two Vixens celebrate and leave the office as Bradshaw smirks and shakes his head…
Montel Vontavious Porter vs. Kurt Angle This match was signed last week after a tense confrontation between these two HWL Superstars, and both men wanted to prove that they could back up their words. Angle wanted to make sure he could have a better outcome against Porter, and MVP wanted to send a message to D’Angelo Dinero and to prove that he was more than just a “warm-up match” for “The Olympic Gold Medalist”. However, neither men were able to successfully follow through on their words, as MATT MORGAN made his way down to the ring and attack Angle during his pinfall attempt. As the referee called for the bell, Morgan grabbed Angle and tossed him shoulder-first into the ring post.
Kurt Angle defeated Montel Vontavious Porter by disqualification in 0:13:07. Rating: ** ¾ [Matt Morgan interfered against Kurt Angle.]

David Hart Smith (w/Natalya) vs. AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair) “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles found himself with a big burden across the ring from him tonight, taking on the second-generation Superstar in David Hart Smith. The odds were evened outside the ring between Natalya and Ric Flair, so the match came down to Smith’s power and Styles’ speed. The strength was used to Hart’s advantage as he was able to get the upper hand early in the match, and held it for the duration… until “The Nature Boy” distracted Smith by confronting Natalya. With Smith’s attention diverted, Styles saw his chance, and rolled up Smith in an inside cradle, pulling his tights as the referee counted one-two-three. After the match, Styles quickly rolled out of the ring, and he and Flair made their way up the ramp as Smith and Natalya stared in shock.

Monday Night Anarchy July 19, 2010 Van Andel Arena Grand Rapids, Michigan
Evan Bourne vs. Matt Morgan The night got off to a quick start in this match-up of speed versus strength. Both men had the crowd going early on, as the action inside the ring went back and forth, with neither man being able to get a firm grip on the match. Midway through the match, the tide turned when Bourne was able to connect with a jawbreaker that visibly stunned “The Blueprint”. Bourne took advantage of the move, as Morgan was never able to regain his composure, and was able to wear down his bigger opponent with his speed and agility. Bourne finished off the unexpected upset by hitting the Shooting Star Press for the 1-2-3. The loss puts a lot of questions on the line as Morgan awaits word on whether or not he will get his rematch against Kurt Angle this Sunday night at Justice…
Evan Bourne pinned Matt Morgan with the Shooting Star Press in 0:12:27. Rating: * ¾
-- Backstage, Ric Flair and AJ Styles entered the arena, dressed in finely pressed suit, to a roar of boos from the crowd. Continuing through the hallways, they were confronted by MR. ANDERSON. Anderson said that, even though he and AJ had both already challenged Desmond Wolfe for the Heavyweight Title, he thought that he had a surefire way for AJ to walk away with the gold this Sunday night; however, Anderson stipulated that, if the AJ and Flair take his advice, and AJ walks out of Justice as the new Heavyweight Champion, the first person that gets a title shot is Anderson. Clearly interested, Styles and Flair walk with Anderson out of view of the camera.
-- Also, backstage, YOSHI TATSU is confronted by KAZ. Kaz said that things didn’t go very smoothly last week, when it came to their tag team match against The British Invasion, but that he wanted to get on the same track in order for the two of them to taste gold for the first time. He told Tatsu that he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get the team on a winning streak… just as long as Tatsu is willing to do the same. Kaz then left Tatsu alone, staring after Kaz.
Handicap Match Daffney vs. The Beautiful People This match was set up after Daffney’s blatant disregard for either Angelina Love or Velvet Sky’s safety, or for any of the basic rules held within the business. For weeks, Daffney had been making TBP’s life miserable, defeating them in the ring, and then continuing the onslaught until HWL officials forced her off them. HWL President agreed, that Daffney’s actions were out of line, and allowed TBP the advantage of the Handicap Match tonight. However, Daffney has proven to be quite intimidating inside the ring, and tonight was no different. Angelina and Velvet did what they could to use their advantage to wear down Daffney, but their opponent’s experience allowed her to never really lose control. After getting frustrated with Velvet’s apparent fear of Daffney, Angelina tagged herself in but soon made a mistake that landed her in a reverse headlock backbreaker! It didn’t take long for Angelina to tap out, and award Daffney her third straight victory over The Beautiful People.
Daffney defeated The Beautiful People (Angeling Love & Velvet Sky) when Love passed out in a half Boston in 0:09:47. Rating: **

-- Coming back from the break, Alisha Hicks is seen with HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw, who said that over the weekend, he had finalized the details for the match between KURT ANGLE and MATT MORGAN for this Sunday at Justice. Bradshaw announced that the two men would compete in a Last Man Standing Match; and that over the next few days, Bradshaw would be getting signatures from both men, making the match official before Sunday night.
-- Backstage, MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER confronted X-Division Champion D’ANGELO DINERO, wishing him good luck tonight against Desmond Wolfe. Porter says that he realizes both men are undefeated, but if Dinero wanted to retain the title at Justice, he’d better make sure to come out on top. Porter then walked away, leaving Dinero with a disgusted look on his face.
David Hart Smith (w/Natalya) vs. CM Punk Last week, David Hart Smith interjected himself into the tag team match between The British Invasion and Legacy, but tonight he found himself facing off against a very determined CM Punk. Both of these men showed that they weren’t going to back down from the fight, and neither of them gave the advantage to their opponent. The crowd loved the fact that a majority of the match was spent at ringside, using everything from the ring apron to the guardrail as weapons. However, after take a late advantage, David Hart Smith connected with a Running Powerslam, but CM Punk was able to kick out before the three-count. Enraged, Smith viciously threw the referee into the guardrail, before turning his attention back to Punk. Dazed, and slowly getting back to his feet, the referee had enough power to call for the bell, and award the match to CM Punk via disqualification.
After the match, as Smith and Natalya made their way up the ramp, SARITA appeared on-stage, to a tremendous cheer from the crowd! Sarita said that Natalya crossed a line the other week, attacking her with the Women’s Title, and that this Sunday, at Justice, Sarita would “gladly” take the belt off Natalya’s hands. She then slapped the Women’s Champion before turning and heading backstage. Natalya and DHS could only stand in shock as the crowed continued to cheer.
CM Punk defeated David Hart Smith by disqualification in 0:11:07. Rating: ** ½

-- Coming back from the break, CHELSEA is seen walking back towards the Heavyweight Champion’s locker room, dressed in a form-fitting black dress, and carrying a bottle of water in her hand. She nods politely to a few of the staff members, talking against the wall, but is stopped suddenly as RIC FLAIR turns the corner. With a huge smile on his face, Flair tells Chelsea that she’s just the person he’s been looking for; and that he doesn’t want to do anything to her. He says, if she’s interested, he has a proposition for her - and pulls out a wad of $100 bills from his pocket. Chelsea, intrigued, looks around before following Flair down the hallway and off-camera.
Non-Title Match The British Invasion vs. © Legacy Brutus Magnus and Rob Terry had a chance tonight to put a pothole in Legacy’s road to Justice, taking on the Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. The two bigger, stronger Brits struggled at the beginning to match up with the agility and speed of the smaller champions. But, to make matters more interesting, THE HART DYNASTY did not waste much time making their presence known at ringside. After inadvertently pulling the top rope down on Brutus Magnus, David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd stayed quiet, not wanting to ruin things for their supposed allies for the night. The miscue, however, gave the champions all they needed, and as Rob Terry went for a massive clothesline, Ted DiBiase reversed it into a backslide for the 1-2-3!
After the match, Tyson Kidd distracted Cody Rhodes outside the ring, as David Hart Smith slid in and attacked DiBiase! After a vicious clothesline, Smith picked up DiBiase and planted him with a Running Powerslam. Outside the ring, Kidd and Rhodes went at it, but Kidd was able to throw Rhodes into the ring steps before entering the ring as well. Standing in the center of the ring, Kidd and Smith demanded that they get their Tag Team Title match, Sunday night, at Justice.
Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase, Jr.) defeated The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Rob Terry) when DiBiase pinned Terry with a backslide in 0:18:29. Rating: * ¼ [David Hart Smith interfered against Rob Terry.] [The Hart Dynasty interfered against Ted DiBiase.]
-- Backstage, D’ANGELO DINERO is seen stretching before his main even match, when MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER confronts him once again. Annoyed by his presence, Dinero asks if Porter is there to wish him luck - again - on his match against Desmond Wolfe. Porter says, in fact, that he is there to wish him luck because he knows how tough of an opponent the Heavyweight Champion is. Dinero says nothing in response, and Porter begins to walk away, as Dinero returns to stretching. Suddenly, Porter returns and attacks Dinero from behind! Porter sends Dinero back-first into the cement wall before landing a few swift kicks to the X-Division Champ’s ribs. Satisfied, Porter walks away, as Dinero is seen gasping for air.

Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya) vs. Rhino vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Kane This match was nothing more of a showcase for the fans in Grand Rapids tonight. It was also a chance for Tyson Kidd to prove that he could take on some of the bigger talent in the HWL. The fans were not disappointed as this match went way beyond anyone’s expectations! Neither man was willing to go down for nearly the first 30 minutes, but finally, Rhino was able to connect with a Gore to big away the biggest man in the match - Kane. The battling continued until Tyson Kidd score a huge upset over Mr. Anderson, connecting with a Springboard Elbowdrop to pick up the second pinfall. Coming down to the final two participants, Kidd looked like he had a shot of pulling off a major victory for himself, but Natalya decided to help in the only way she could, tripping Rhino, to take him off his game. However, Natalya’s actions were seen in clear view of the referee, who quickly called for the bell, disqualifying Kidd. Visibly upset, Kidd turned and had some words for Natalya, unaware that “The Man Beast” was waiting. As Kidd turned around, he was met with a vicious Gore as the crowd began to boo. Rhino left the ring as Natalya slid into check on Kidd.
Rhino defeated Tyson Kid, Mr. Anderson, and Kane: - Rhino defeated Kane via the Gore in 0:27:38. - Kidd defeated Mr. Anderson via the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:35:44. - Rhino defeated Kidd via disqualification in 0:37:35. Rating: * ¾ [Natalya interfered against Mr. Anderson.] [Natalya interfered against Rhino.]
-- Backstage, DESMOND WOLFE is heading out of the locker room when he sees CHELSEA coming towards him, a smile on her face. Wolfe asks where she’s been all night, and is told that Chelsea has just been walking around backstage, talking to staff members. Wolfe says that he’s been stressed out all night, trying to figure out where she was, and she assures him that nothing happened. She says that she wants him to stop worrying about her, and to concentrate on D’Angelo Dinero tonight, saying that, with his mind being on MVP Wolfe should have an easy victory. Wolfe agrees, and wraps his arm around Chelsea, as they make their way towards the ramp.
-- The final preview for “Justice” is shown, highlighting the matches that will be taking place on Sunday night, with “Another Way to Die” by Disturbed playing in the background.
Non-Title Match © D’Angelo Dinero vs. © Desmond Wolfe (w/Chelsea) Just six days before Justice, these two champions fought off, hoping to put themselves in a position for victory - not only tonight - but also heading into the pay-per-view. Things got a little out of control early on as both MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER and AJ STYLES made their way to ringside, interfering whenever they could. This match saw plenty of near-DQ’s on both ends, but the X-Division Champion had the last bit of luck as Wolfe was distracted, arguing with the referee, hitting the DDE and pinning the World Heavyweight Champion and ending his undefeated streak! After the match, Dinero - showing signs of an injury, holding his lower back - and Porter shared words from across the arena as AJ Styles left ringside, smiling, having seen his opponent for Sunday night go down in defeat.
D’Angelo Dinero pinned Desmond Wolfe after the DDE in 0:08:51. - D’Angelo Dinero injured his back, and will be out for two (2) cards. Rating: **** [AJ Styles interfered against Desmond Wolfe.] [Montel Vontavious Porter interfered against D’Angelo Dinero.]

Triple Threat Match Kaz vs. Evan Bourne vs. Randy Orton The high-flying abilities of Kaz and Evan Bourne were on display tonight, as was the talents of Randy Orton - who the HWL crowd hadn’t seen in the ring in a while. This match was filled with action, both inside and outside the ring, but things got very interesting as CODY RHODES came down to the ring. He waited at ringside for a few minutes before making his presence clear, pulling down the top rope and attacking “The Viper” outside the ring! The attack kept Orton out of the match, and allowed Bourne to pin Kaz for the only fall in the match. With very little time left, Bourne went outside the ring, and threw Orton back in. But, before he could capitalize on Orton’s state, the referee called the bell, as the time limit had expired.
Outside the ring, Cody Rhodes watched with a smile as Orton slowly made it to his feet, and Bourne left the ring.
Evan Bourne drew Kaz and Randy Orton: - E. Bourne beat Kaz via the Shooting Star Press in 0:18:37. - time limit expired (E. Bourne and R. Orton) in 0:20:00. Rating: *** 1/2 [Cody Rhodes interfered against Randy Orton.]
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Sarita, who is getting set to take on Natalya for the Women’s Title. Alisha asks how Sarita feels, being given a shot at the Women’s Title, and her chances of doing what so many before her couldn’t do. Sarita says that she has faced a lot of great competition - not only in the HWL, but around the world - and, that she has seen great champions at all levels. And, she admits that Natalya has been a great Women’s Champion, but tonight, Sarita feels confident about being the one to end Natalya’s reign as champion. She says that she has beaten some of the women that have challenged for the title before her, and hasn’t lost yet… and, that she’s going to do all she can to keep that winning streak alive.
-- Also, backstage, DESMOND WOLFE and Chelsea are seen entering the arena. Wolfe is dressed in a suit, carrying the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder, and Chelsea is dressed a small, black dress and heels. The crowd whoops and hollows at the sight of her; Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss tonight’s main event.
HWL Women’s Title Match Sarita vs. © Natalya Sarita’s hopes of becoming the new Women’s Champion were crushed as soon as the match began. Natalya ambushed Sarita right from the beginning, and it didn’t take long for the stronger champion to lock in the Airplane Spin. Sarita did her best to keep fighting, but soon tapped out, giving Natalya yet another successful title defense.
Natalya made Sarita submit with an Airplane Spin in 0:01:12. Rating: ** (Natalya retained the Women’s Title.)
-- Backstage, RIC FLAIR and AJ STYLES are seen entering the arena, when they are confronted by MR. ANDERSON. Anderson says that he doesn’t have much time, because his match is next, but that he wanted to know how things went on Monday night. Flair assures him that everything has worked out just fine, and that he and AJ have everything under control. Anderson smiles and walks away from the duo, on his way to the stage area.
-- Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is with The Hart Dynasty. David Hart Smith says that tonight, the world has already witnessed the dominance that Natalya has over the other “Vixens” in the HWL, but that the Dynasty’s work isn’t complete. Smith says that, later tonight, he and Tyson Kidd plan on taking back what should’ve been their’s in the first place: the HWL Tag Team Titles. Smith says that “The Million Dollar Man” won’t be around to bribe anymore referees, and that he and Kidd will expose how truly un-gifted Legacy really is.
Mr. Anderson vs. Kane These two men took part in the Fatal Four Way match, six days ago on Anarchy, and squared off once again tonight. Kane has been pretty quiet as of late, and was hoping for a better showing than the one he gave on Monday night. Mr. Anderson, too, has been pretty quiet himself, but has recently put himself in a position of alignment with AJ Styles and Ric Flair. Tonight, he appeared to be making a case for their approval, as he used every trick in the book to get the better of “The Big Red Monster”. However, none of them worked - including the multiple shots with the brass knuckles - and Kane was able to connect with the Chokeslam From Hell for the 1-2-3.
Kane pinned Mr. Anderson with the Chokeslam From Hell in 0:10:08. Rating: ***
-- Backstage, the Tag Team Champions - Legacy - are with Alisha Hicks. Ted DiBiase says that they had to smile when they heard what The Hart Dynasty said about them earlier tonight. DiBiase says his father may’ve had something to do with them winning the titles, and that he could be a very persuasive man, but there is no proof that he “paid” for the titles. He says that no matter what the people around the world think, the better team won that night, and the better team will walk out of Chicago with the Tag Team Titles.
-- At ringside, Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels mention the steel cage hanging above the ring, and begin to dissect tonight’s main event. It’s announced that, for tonight’s match, managers will be banned from ringside, giving both AJ Styles and Desmond Wolfe a fair shot of walking away with the HWL Heavyweight Title.
HWL Tag Team Title Match The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya) vs. © Legacy At this point in the pay-per-view, this rematch from Anarchy three weeks ago, was the highlight of the event. Over the past few weeks, both of these teams had grown to resent one another, and they finally got the chance to let their aggression out, tonight, with the titles on the line. Neither team was willing to lay down and die, as numerous times everyone involved was able to fight back from what seemed to be certain defeat. With no give in sight, and the time limit nearing it’s end, Ted DiBiase connected with the Dream Street, but David Hart Smith was barely able to get his foot on the ropes to break up the pin. Soon after, the time limit passed, however, the referee let the match continue, much to the appreciation of the fans! After jockeying for position, The Harts were able to take control and hit the Springboard Hart Attack out of nowhere! Tyson Kidd made the cover for the 1-2-3, and the Hart Dynasty was rewarded with their first-ever HWL Tag Team Title.
The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) when T. Kidd pinned DiBiase with the Springboard Hart Attack in 0:25:24. Rating: *** ½ (The Hart Dynasty won the HWL Tag Team Titles.)
-- Backstage, Matt Morgan tells Alisha Hicks that for weeks, he has been asking himself how he could’ve lost to Kurt Angle back at Fully Loaded. He says that he hasn’t let himself forget about the count-out loss, and how embarrassing it was for him. He says that he’s been waiting a long time to get back into the ring with Angle, and that the stipulation couldn’t be more perfect for this match - and for how he’s feeling coming into it. He says that tonight, he will make things even with Angle, and set his sights to more important matters.
-- At ringside, HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw surprises the fans, by coming out to the ring with an announcement. Bradshaw says that, on Monday night, D’Angelo Dinero had suffered a leg injury in his non-title match against Desmond Wolfe. There, because of the rules stating that he must defend the belt at least once every 30 days, and knowing that those 30 days would end before he returns, Dinero would be stripped of the X-Division Title. However, he says, the title will still be on the line tonight, before announcing both Montel Vontavious Porter and Jay Lethal as the two men who would be challenging for the belt. Bradshaw then leaves the ring, and joins the broadcast team at ringside.
X-Division Title Match Jay Lethal vs. Montel Vontavious Porter Jay Lethal found himself challenging for the X-Division Title tonight, as the impromptu number two, taking on MVP, who was already scheduled to take on Dinero before the champion’s injury. Lethal clearly had the fans on his side in the match, as he was trying to further his singles resume, in only his second singles match since Consequences Creed left the company, however, MVP has challenged for the title before - and had dealt with being in X-Division matches before - and, he used that experience to his advantage, hitting the Playmaker to pick up the 1-2-3, and become the new X-Division Champion.
Montel Vontavious Porter pinned Jay Lethal with the Playmaker in 0:16:47. Rating: **** (Montel Vontavious Porter won the HWL X-Division Title.)
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with KURT ANGLE. Angle says that he heard what “The Blueprint” said in his interview earlier, and that he agrees with Morgan on how their last match ended. Angle says that he had a point to prove to Morgan back at Fully Loaded, and wasn’t able to do it the way he had hoped. He says that he would’ve given anything to have pinned Morgan to the canvas, but he had to settle for making him tap after the bell rang. He says that, just like Morgan, Angle still has something to prove, and with this match, he intends on doing just that. Angle says that, this time, Morgan will have no excuse to use when he loses for the second time to the “Olympic Gold Medalist”.
-- Back at ringside, Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels readdress the AJ Styles-Desmond Wolfe match, scheduled for later tonight. They say that it is the second match between the two, and that tonight, a steel cage will keep them confined to the ring area, with pinfalls and submissions as ways to win the match, as well as being the first one to escape the cage.
Last Man Standing Match Matt Morgan vs. Kurt Angle Matt Morgan and Kurt Angle have both waited for this match for nearly two months. They were given the entire arena to use at their will, and they didn’t hesitate to do just that. This match was mostly fought throughout the crowd, and on both levels of the arena, but thanks to the Jumbotron, those fans who weren’t directly near the action didn’t miss a thing! Angle was cut open pretty early on, taking a shot from the ring bell, but continued to fight on as the blood poured from his face; he even managed to get a very close near-fall on “The Blueprint”. However, over the course of the nearly-hour long match, the constant loss of blood began to take it’s toll on the “Olympic Gold Medalist”, and Morgan was able to connect with a vicious power slam onto the concrete floor to pick up a very impressive - and brutal - victory.
Matt Morgan pinned Kurt Angle after a power slam in 0:44:05. Rating: **** ¼
-- A preview for the HWL’s next pay-per-view, “Unbreakable” is shown, with “Bad Company” by Five Finger Death Punch playing in the background. The event will take place on August 29th, live from the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
-- Highlights from the evening’s events are shown, in a video montage, with “Another Way to Die” playing in the background. The video ends, and the camera shows the steel cage lowering around the ring, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels once again talk about the AJ Styles-Desmond Wolfe match.
HWL Heavyweight Title Match (Cage Match) AJ Styles vs. © Desmond Wolfe With the amount of anticipation this match had coming into tonight, the fans can blame AJ Styles and Ric Flair for the events that took place. Sensing that Wolfe would have the advantage with Styles all alone, Flair and Mr. Anderson appeared on-stage, distracting Wolfe, as Styles watched, smiling. Flair got a microphone and announced that he had an announcement that would change Wolfe’s life forever. He then introduced Chelsea, who appeared on-stage, and hugged Flair and Anderson! Standing in utter shock, Wolfe’s head dropped into his hands, and he turned around, only to get met with a kick to the midsection; Styles then executed the Styles Clash in the middle of the ring! Styles then pinned Wolfe for the 1-2-3, picking up the VERY cheap victory, and becoming the new Heavyweight Champion!
After the match Flair, Anderson, and Chelsea made their way to the ring, where the referee opened up the cage door, and they joined Styles for an in-ring celebration as the fans booed as loud as they possibly could.
AJ Styles pinned Desmond Wolfe with the Styles Clash in 0:05:05. Rating: *** ¾ (AJ Styles won the HWL Heavyweight Title.)

Monday Night Anarchy July 26, 2010 Conseco Fieldhouse Indianapolis, Indiana
-- Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Indianapolis, just 24 hours after “Justice”, where AJ Styles walked away with the HWL Heavyweight Title, in one of the most unexpected betrayals by Chelsea towards Desmond Wolfe. It is announced that, tonight, the newly crowned Heavyweight Champion will be in action, as AJ Styles will take on “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan in a non-title match. Also tonight, the HWL will debut a new Tag Team, as they will face The British Invasion. And, also, the new number one contender of the Women's Title will be named as Sarita takes on Daffney.
-- The lights in the arena go out as RIC FLAIR's entrance music plays, and the crowd instantly begins to boo as “The Nature Boy” walks on-stage, into the spotlight shining on the ramp. He walks down the ramp, ignoring the insults from the fans, and enters the ring – as the lights return on – and asks for a microphone from the ring announcer. Flair waits for the audience to die down before saying that last night, at Justice, was one of the best nights of his career. He says that the look on Desmond Wolfe's face was so priceless, Flair doesn't think he'll ever forget what it looked like. He continues to say that, tonight, he isn't out to gloat about the events that took place last night, but rather to introduce a collection of talent that he believes will have the HWL “by the balls”. The first person Flair says the first person is the only one responsible for how last night went down; and he introduces MR. ANDERSON! Anderson walks out to a round of jeers from the Indy crowd, and joins Flair in the ring, shaking hands and waiting for the other introduction. Next, and finally, Flair says that everyone should get up and applaud the next person he's introducing... and AJ STYLES walks on-stage, carrying the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder, accompanied by CHELSEA. The crowd continues to boo as Styles enters the ring, shaking hands with Flair and Anderson. Flair then says that, with the three of them working together, they will control the HWL in no time. All three celebrate inside the ring as “Anarchy” goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
-- As “Anarchy” returns from commercials, DESMOND WOLFE is seen entering the arena, looking depressed and still in shock. Josh Daniels asks why Wolfe is in the arena, when he doesn't have a match scheduled; and Scott Michaels says that, if he were Wolfe, he'd be in a bar somewhere in Chicago, trying to forget what happened last night.
Number One Contenders Match Sarita vs. Daffney
Just 24 hours after coming up short against Natalya in her first title match in the HWL, Sarita stepped into the ring with Daffney for the chance to challenge for the title again. Daffney came into this match on a huge roll, after beating both members of The Beautiful People bot separately and in a handicap match just a week ago. But Sarita came out with something to prove, and took the fight to Daffney, showing that she wanted another shot at the Women's Champion. And, after hitting a beautiful belly-to-belly suplex, Sarita found herself as the Number One Contender once again.
Sarita pinned Daffney after a belly-to-belly suplex in 0:06:24. Rating: ** ½
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is shown with a very beat-up KURT ANGLE, who is shown with stitches on his forehead. Angle says that, last night, he and Matt Morgan put each other through hell. He says that he still lives by the Three I's, and that he will admit that Morgan got the better of him at Justice. But, he says that Morgan is in no better shape than Angle is, and tonight, Morgan has to go out and prove himself against the Heavyweight Champion. But, Angle says, when Morgan is finished facing AJ Styles, he can start thinking of a way to end things once and for all.
-- Also, backstage, in the locker room, CODY RHODES is seen getting ready for his match, when he is confronted by TED DIBIASE JR. DiBiase demands to know what was going through Rhodes's mind when he went out and attacked Randy Orton last night, at Justice. Getting no answer, DiBiase says that they lost the Tag Team Titles because Cody's head wasn't in the match; it was off thinking about what he had done to Orton. DiBiase says that Rhodes has a lot of explaining to do, and walks out of the locker room, leaving Rhodes to finish getting ready.
Commercial Break
Alex Shelley vs. Cody Rhodes
Cody Rhodes was given the chance to redeem himself, 24 hours after he and Ted DiBiase lost the HWL Tag Team Titles, and he stepped into the ring with a very familiar opponent. However, Rhodes probably didn't think that RANDY ORTON would want retribution so quickly, as “The Viper” made his way to the ring early on, and nearly got Shelley disqualified for tripping Rhodes. But, after the warning from the referee, Orton stayed quiet. But he made sure that the “Dashing” one knew he was there. Rhodes, however, was able to fight through the tense situation, and lock in a sleeperhold. Shelley fought his way out of the move, but was too far gone, and Rhodes pushed him out of the ring for the count-out victory. That was all that “The Viper” needed, as Orton slid into the ring and connected with and RKO in the center of the ring! The crowd went crazy as Orton stood over Rhodes, staring down at him.
Cody Rhodes defeated Alex Shelley by count-out in 0:09:56. Rating: [Randy Orton interfered against Cody Rhodes.]
-- Backstage, Ric Flair, Mr. Anderson, AJ Styles, and Chelsea are seen continuing their celebration from earlier tonight, when PETER BRADSHAW walks up onto the group. They all turn to face the owner of the company, and he reminds them that he could end their career if they lay a single hand on him. Bradshaw then singles out Flair, and says that he isn't sure what “The Nature Boy” has up his sleeve, but that he won't allow Flair – and the rest of them – to just run rampant week after week. Bradshaw says that they've had their “coming out” party, and except for Styles's match against Matt Morgan, he doesn't want to see them ringside for the rest of the evening.
Flair cuts off Bradshaw and reminds the owner of just who he is; and says that he's going to do whatever he pleases, and that the rest of his “guys” are going to do whatever they want, too. Flair says that they're grown men – and woman – and that he's not going to tell them what they can and can't do. He says that Mr. Anderson doesn't have anything to do tonight, but the rest of them will be at ringside for the main event. Anderon, Styles, and Chelsea walk away from Bradshaw as Flair gets in his face, and says that Bradshaw doesn't have the balls to get rid of “The Nature Boy” and the reigning HWL Heavyweight Champion. Woooooo!
-- In another area backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with The Hart Dynasty, who receive a mixed reaction from the crowd when they appear on the Jumbotron. Alisha asks what it feels like to be holding half of the championship gold in the HWL. David Hart Smith said that no one thought that he and Tyson Kidd would amount to anything; that their troubles outside of the wrestling world would hinder them from doing what they needed to do inside the ring. But, he says, that he nor Kidd really listened to what the public thought about them, because the people that mattered most are the ones who knew what they were capable of. Smith says that, last night at Justice, they finally showed that they were work their way to the top of the Tag Team division, and that justice was served to Legacy for stealing the title away from them a few weeks ago on Anarchy.
Tyson chimes in and says that whether people like it or not, they're looking at a very dominating force in the HWL. He says that it means something to hold half the gold in a company, and that the next goal, for him at least, is to make his way into challenging for the X-Division Title. Kidd reminds the fans that he was in the first-ever X-Division title match, in the summer of 2009, and came up on the short end. But, he says that he's gotten over the demons that held him back, and is now ready to disprove all the people who don't think he can do anything without someone by his side.
Natalya then says that she would say something to add to the moment, but she does all her talking in the ring. However, she does say that, until there is some new, more challenging competition in the Woman's Division, she is going to hold on to the title for as long as she wants it. The three walk away as the mixed reaction grows once again.
Yoshi Tatsu vs. David Hart Smith
Coming off winning the Tag Team Titles last night, and making his very stern statement to Alisha Hicks moments before, David Hart Smith was looking to add to his successful past 24 hours, but was met by a very determined Yoshi Tatsu. Tatsu used his speed to counter a lot of Smith's power moves, and picked up a series of near-falls. Smith was able to right himself and gain control, tossing Tatsu outside the ring, using the surroundings to his advantage. Back in the ring, the match appeared to be Hart's until Tatsu reversed a clothesline into a crucifix, stunning his bigger opponent. Tatsu was able to connect with a Northern Lights suplex to pick up the impressive victory.
Yoshi Tatsu pinned David Hart Smith after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:09:42. Rating: *** ½
Commercial Break
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan, who is banged up from his match last night at Justice. Alisha asks how he feels, evening the score with Kurt Angle last night, and what that might mean for his future. Morgan says that he did, indeed, even things up with Angle at Justice; but that he feels like he got the upper hand, because he actually pinned Angle and beat him; not just using the ring steps to get a count-out. Morgan says that his future is only looking up from here, and that some time soon, he expects to get back into the ring with Angle one more time, so they can finally see who the better man is. He says, however, that until that match is made, he's going to focus on AJ Styles and tonight's main event. He reminds Alisha that he and Styles have met in the ring before, and it just so happened that Styles was able to beat Morgan for the HWL Heavyweight Championship back in September. He says that, just like at Justice, tonight, he's going to even the score.
-- A preview for “Unbreakable” is shown. The event will take place, August 29th, live from the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
The Usos (w/Tamina) vs. The British Invasion
The Uso Brothers – recently signed from the FCW – made their debut here tonight, taking on Rob Terry and Brutus Magnus. The new duo looked very impressive, using their speed and high-risk moves, to take the fight to the Invasion. However, even with Tamina on the outside, they made their rookie mistake, which Rob Terry took full advantage of, hitting the Tormentum on Jimmy Uso to pick up the victory.
The British Invasion (Rob Terry & Brutus Magnus) defeated The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) when Big Rob pinned Jimmy with the Tormentum in 0:14:06. Rating: * ¾
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with “The Viper” Randy Orton, and asks for an explanation behind his attack, earlier tonight, against Cody Rhodes. Orton says that Rhodes brought it upon himself, last night at Justice. He says that, it's clear to Orton, that Rhodes is jealous of what Orton has accomplished in the wrestling business. Orton says that he's been a multi-time Heavyweight Champion, and Cody Rhodes hasn't risen to that “rank” yet. He says Rhodes is trying to prove himself, now that he's lost the Tag Team Titles, but that he picked the wrong first target.
Commercial Break
-- Desmond Wolfe is seen walking around backstage as “Anarchy” returns from commercials, and is stopped by Alisha Hicks, who asks what he must be feeling after the events that took place last night at “Justice”. Wolfe says that he isn't in the mood to talk about what happened last night; not yet, at least. He continues to walk past Alisha as she stands, watching in shock. Scott Michaels thinks that losing the Heavyweight Title and having Chelsea betray him has had a bigger toll on Wolfe than anyone would've thought.
Evan Bourne vs. Randy Orton
Randy Orton had already made his presence known tonight, attacking Cody Rhodes with an RKO; and he looked to continue his roll against Evan Bourne. Orton wasted no time at all, hitting an RKO just seconds into the match, but Bourne was able to kick out just before the three-count. Orton stayed on the offensive throughout the match, and it didn't take long for frustration to set in on the young high-flyer. Seeing an opportunity, Bourne pushed down the referee, who rolled outside of the ring. Bourne then went on a tear, trying to even the score against Orton, but “The Viper” caught Bourne with a second RKO! There was no referee to count, so Orton stopped the pinfall. And, as the referee slowly made his way back into the ring, Orton connected with a flying cross body press to pick up the victory.
Randy Orton pinned Evan Bourne after a flying cross body press in 0:04:15. Rating: ** ¼
-- Backstage, Alisha Hicks is with Ric Flair and the HWL Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, who comment on Desmond Wolfe's appearance earlier tonight. Styles says that Wolfe is upset because he lost the title to a better wrestler, and that it'll be a long time before Wolfe gets another title shot at “The Phenomenal One”. Flair then says, that Wolfe should go find a local bar after the show, and hit the bottle, because not only does AJ have the Heavyweight Title, but he's also got Chelsea by his side now. Flair says that Styles – and soon Mr. Anderson – will run the show in the HWL, and Desmond Wolfe will have no chance at slowing them down. Woooo!
-- Highlights are shown from last night's “Justice” pay-per-view, highlighting the crowning of new Tag Team Champions and the crowning of AJ Styles as the new Heavyweight Champion.
Commercial Break
Non Title Match Matt Morgan vs. © AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)
AJ Styles came into this match 24 hours after “stealing” the Heavyweight Title away from Desmond Wolfe, and appeared to be very “high” on himself and his new-found partnership with Mr. Anderson. Matt Morgan was coming off a very hard-fought and bloody battle with Kurt Angle at “Justice”, and was looking to keep his momentum going against the new Champion. These two know each other well, having fought for the Heavyweight title almost a year ago, and they both appeared to remember their rivalry. “The Blueprint” came out swinging, stunning the Champion off the bat, hitting the Carbon Footprint and pinning Styles, but Chelsea distracted the referee before he could give the three-count. This opened up an opportunity for Flair to slide AJ the Heavyweight title, who used it to hit Morgan in the back of the head, startling the big man. But, with Chelsea still on the apron, Styles had no time to capitalize on the attack as Morgan got his bearings and become enraged. Sensing the title shot's failure, AJ fled the ring, and he, Flair and Chelsea made their way up the ramp as the referee counted AJ out, awarding the match to Morgan.
Matt Morgan defeated AJ Styles by count-out in 0:14:36. Rating: ** ½ [Chelsea interfered against Matt Morgan.]

Monday Night Anarchy August 2, 2010 U.S. Bank Arena Cincinnati, Ohio (Attendance: 11, 951) (Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Cincinnati, and announce that tonight, former Heavyweight Champion Desmond Wolfe, will take on the X-Division Champion, Montel Vontavious Porter, in a non-title match in the main event. Also announced is a rematch from Justice for the Women's Title, as Sarita will once against challenge Natalya.) (The lights in the arena go out as AJ Styles' music blares through the arena. A spotlight shines onto the center of the stage as the HWL Heavyweight Champion walks out – carrying the title over his shoulder – as the crowd roars with boos. Styles is followed down the ramp by Ric Flair, Mr. Anderson, and Chelsea. Inside the ring, Flair grabs a microphone and waits for the jeers to die down, before saying that the crowd could boo AJ all he wants because of that actions he took last week, but that they will never understand his reasoning because their idiots. Flair says that he's helping AJ to think like him; to see himself like Flair saw himself during his 17 different title reigns. Flair says that he isn't going to allow AJ to step into the ring with people who don't deserve to wrestle the Heavyweight Champion, and that's exactly why they left last week. Flair says that Matt Morgan may have been Heavyweight Champion some time last year, but even back then, he should've known that AJ was a better wrestler, because he beat Morgan for the belt. Flair says that Matt Morgan hasn't done enough to prove himself worthy of stepping into the ring with Styles; and that he needs to focus more on Kurt Angle before he can ever hope of facing the Heavyweight Champion again. The crowd boos loudly once again. Flair then says that the real reason they're all out here tonight, is to say how happy they were to see the way Desmond Wolfe was acting last week on Anarchy. He says that neither Wolfe nor anyone else in the arena could imagine the amount of joy all four of them got by watching Wolfe mope around the backstage area, having lost the Heavyweight Title and the love of his life. Flair says that it was only a matter of time before Chelsea figured out that Wolfe wasn't a “real man”. More booing from the crowd. Flair's rant was cut off as Desmond Wolfe's music blares through the arena, instantly changing the crowd's mood. Wolfe walks down the ramp and enters the ring, as all four members of Flair's group backs into the corners. Wolfe paces around the ring for a moment, looking nothing like he did a week ago, before walking over the Flair and grabbing the microphone out of his hand. Wolfe stares into Flair's eyes for a moment before turning away and walking around the ring. He wastes no time, saying that Flair, Anderson, and “that whore” Chelsea – along with everyone in the arena – know that AJ Styles shouldn't be Heavyweight Champion tonight. He says that all four of them knew AJ wouldn't stand a chance inside that steel cage at Justice, so they had to spend some amount of money to lure Chelsea to their side, all in the hopes of distracting Wolfe; and it worked. Wolfe says that, without Flair or Anderson, Styles would still be in the back complaining about a second-straight loss. He says that Matt Morgan may not be what they deem “worthy” of stepping into the ring with AJ, but says if there's one man who is, it's the one who had the title stolen from him. Wolfe then says that, if AJ's man enough to accept the challenge, he's invoking his “rematch clause” at Unbreakable. Wolfe says that he wants their match to “fit the bill” of the pay-per-view, and challenges AJ to a Ladder Match for the HWL Heavyweight Title. The crowd goes crazy as Flair, Anderson, and Styles all look at each other in shock. Wolfe stares at Chelsea and shakes his head, and says that he has nothing to say to her, except that now he sees that she's nothing more than a money-hungry tramp. He warns her that Flair, Styles, and Anderson are simply using her as leverage to get inside his head, and that at Unbreakable when he walks away with the Heavyweight Title again, they're just throw her to the curb because she'll be of no use to them. And, he says that, when that happens, Wolfe wouldn't be there for her... ever again. Wolfe then leaves the ring as Anarchy goes to commercials.) Commercial Break(Backstage, KURT ANGLE is seen entering the arena.) Women's Title Match Sarita vs. © NatalyaSarita has been making quite the name for herself since joining the HWL last month, with her only loss coming at the hands of the Women's Champion, at Justice. However, last week, she earned the chance to face Natalya again, after defeating Daffney in a Number One Contender's Match. The champion, who has been on a tear since winning the title, was looking to continue her winning ways, but was not prepared for a different opponent than the one she faced at Justice. Sarita countered just about everything Natalya threw at her, and was wearing the champion down, until Natalya brought the fight outside the ring. There, she used everything she could to get the better of the challenger, but did not risk a count-out, bringing the fight back inside. Natalya went back on the offensive, but Sarita continued to counter the Champion, ultimately locking in a flying armbar, and getting Natalya to tap out, winning the Women's Title. Sarita made Natalya submit to a flying armbar in 0:14:33. Rating: *** ¼ (Sarita won the HWL Women's Title.)(Backstage, David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd are seen walking out of their dressing room, and are approached by Rob Terry and Brutus Magnus. Magnus says that the Hart Dynasty's dream of being a force in the HWL is crumbling right before their eyes. He says that David lost last week – and better hope his luck changes tonight – and that Natalya just lost the Women's Title. He tells Smith and Kidd to do whatever they can to make sure they don't follow the same fate, at Unbreakable, because Magnus and Terry are looking to leave them with nothing.) Commercial BreakAlex Shelley vs. David Hart SmithDavid Hart Smith had a lot of pressure on his shoulders tonight, as he tried to reclaim himself from his loss last week, and trying not to be the second member of the Hart Dynasty to lose tonight. It appeared that his night was going to get a little more difficult as CODY RHODES and TED DIBIASE made their way down to ringside. The mood at ringside was very tense, until DiBiase pulled down the top rope as Smith whipped Shelley into them. Rhodes and DiBiase began to attack Shelley outside the ring as Smith watched from inside. When they finished with their assault, Legacy threw Shelley back into the ring, and straight into a Saito suplex by Smith. Smith pinned Shelley for the 1-2-3. After the match, Rhodes and DiBiase enter the ring and continue their assault on Alex Shelley, as the referee tried to stop them. Suddenly, RANDY ORTON ran down the ramp, and cleared out the ring as Rhodes and DiBiase avoided “The Viper”. Orton stands over Shelley as he and Legacy share words from across the arena. David Hart Smith pinned Alex Shelley with the Saito Suplex in 0:10:27. Rating: ** ½ [Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase interfered against Alex Shelley.](Backstage, Kaz is seen leaving the dressing room, when he is approached by Yoshi Tatsu. Tatsu says that he knows that their team hasn't had the best of luck in the past, but after beating David Hart Smith last week, he thinks their fortune is going to turn around. Unimpressed, and feigning interest, Kaz says he hopes that Yoshi is right. He says that it's one thing to “think” they can turn it around; it's another thing to go out and actually do it.) (At ringside, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase make their way to the ring, as the crowd restarts their booing for just moments ago. They enter the ring, as Cody Rhodes grabs a microphone, and tries to compose himself before speaking to the crowd. Rhodes says that he first wants to apologize to Ted DiBiase, for making his partner think that his head wasn't in the “game” as far as eventually having the Tag Team Titles back in their possession; and he says that what the crowd just witnessed was Legacy making a statement, that they will go through every single person or team until they get another shot at the Tag Team Titles. He says that tonight, that quest begins as they make examples out of Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz. But, he says that before the match starts, Rhodes wanted to get something off his chest concerning Justice. Rhodes says that he heard Randy Orton say that he was jealous of Orton's success in the wrestling business, and Rhodes admits that, while he was younger he would feel a hatred towards Orton for doing things that Rhodes knew he should be doing instead. Rhodes goes onto to say that his hatred didn't just start when they started out in the business, but that it goes back to when their parents were wrestling as well. Rhodes says that he grew up despising “Cowboy” Bob Orton because his father “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes couldn't stand the sight of Randy's father. So, Rhodes says that, at Unbreakable, he wants to do something that will make his father happy: take out an Orton once and for all.) Legacy vs. Yoshi Tatsu/KazCody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase were very confident with themselves just minutes before the bell rang, but no one in the arena thought they were ready for the newly dedicated Yoshi Tatsu. Tatsu had said earlier that he was going to do his part in helping their team get to the Tag Team Titles, but Kaz seemed to take the match in his own hands. However, Kaz got a little bit of help as RANDY ORTON appeared on-stage, distracting DiBiase as Kaz hit a moonsault side suplex to pick up the victory. Yoshi Tatsu & Kaz defeated Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) when Kaz pinned Rhodes after a moonsault side slam in 0:04:19. Rating: ** 3/4Commercial Break(Kurt Angle's music blares through the arena as Anarchy comes back from commercials, and he is welcomed by a warm reception from the Cincinnati crowd. He makes his way down the ramp, still showing signs of injury from two weeks ago, and enters the ring where he is handed a microphone. Angle waits for the cheers to die down before saying that he is out here for only one reason tonight, and that he doesn't want to waste a lot of time getting to the point. He says that, last week, Matt Morgan seemed very confident with his victory at Justice. Angle says Morgan should be happy with the win, because he was the better man and deserved to win... on that night. Angle says that Matt tied things up between them at Justice, but it didn't settle anything; it just made the need to find out who is better that much greater, and Angle thinks he has the perfect match to test both of them. Angles says the reason he is in the ring tonight is to issue a challenge to Matt Morgan – for one more match – at Unbreakable. The only catch, Angle says, is that he wants Morgan to accept adding the stipulation of making the match a Submissions Only match. Angle says, that if Morgan thinks he can beat Angle again, he'll have to work for it. Angle then leaves the ring as the crowd murmurs amongst themselves.) (Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with The Usos and Tamina, and welcomes them to the Horizon Wrestling League. Jimmy Uso says that it was only a matter of time before they hit the ranks of the “big leagues” in the wrestling business. He says that it is ingrained in all three of their bloods, having grown up watching their various relatives reach all sorts of success throughout the years. Jey Uso says that last week was a rough way to start their careers in the HWL, losing to The British Invasion. But, he says, that it won't take long before they make their marks, just like the did in their previous endeavors.) Evan Bourne vs. Mr. AndersonMr. Anderson was coming into this match, feeling pretty good about his role in screwing Desmond Wolfe out of the Heavyweight Title at Justice, but Evan Bourne was looking to make up for his loss against Randy Orton last week. Without Ric Flair, AJ Styles, or Chelsea at ringside, Anderson had to rely on his own abilities and skills to take on the high-flying Bourne. Boure was impressive in the outing, using the Shooting Star Press to pick up the victory. Evan Bourne pinned Mr. Anderson with the Shooting Star Press in 0:13:13. Rating: ***(Backstage, Alisha Hicks catches up with Randy Orton, and asks for a response to Cody Rhodes' statements earlier tonight. Orton says that he wasn't surprised to hear what Rhodes had to say, about his family being jealous of the Orton family legacy. And, because of that, he says that there's only one kind of match that he and Cody should be in at Unbreakable: an old-school Strap match. Orton says, that if Cody wants to make his “daddy” proud, he knows what he has to do. Orton then walks away as the crowd inside the arena cheer.) Commercial Break(Backstage, Ric Flair and AJ Styles are joined by Alisha Hicks, who asks for a comment about tonight's earlier showdown with Desmond Wolfe. Styles says that, if Wolfe was trying to threaten him with the stipulation of a Ladder Match, it fell on deaf ears. He says that Wolfe is just searching for a way to put the odds on his favor, in the hopes of winning back the Heavyweight Title at Unbreakable, but Styles says that the odds are already stacked against Wolfe, and putting the title on the line in that type of match just puts him more at risk. So, Style says that, if Wolfe is sure he wants a Ladder Match at Unbreakable, then he will accept the challenge, and prove to everyone in the HWL that he can beat Wolfe no matter what the match is.) Jay Lethal vs. KaneThe Cincinnati crowd was absolutely stunned by Jay Lethal's performance tonight, as he shocked them – and “The Big Red Monster” - by stopping at nothing to ensure he reached victory tonight. Lethal was able to bring Kane to the outside, and tripped the big man; his head and upper body falling hard onto the ring steps! And, to make sure Kane was down, Lethal hit the Flying Elbowdrop onto the concrete floor! Lethal, showing signs of an slightly injured leg/hip, rolled back into the ring as the referee finished the 10-count. Jay Letahl defeated Kane by count-out in 0:05:00. Rating: * ¾(Backstage, Matt Morgan finds Alisha Hicks talking with a few HWL staff members, and demands the microphone. Morgan says that Kurt Angle doesn't have to wait long to get his answer concerning the challenge issued for Unbreakable. Morgan says that he couldn't be more confident about what he's able to do inside the ring, and that making Angle tap would be the highlight of his career. Morgan then walks away, laughing to himself, leaving Alisha alone.) (A preview for “Unbreakable” is shown. The event will take place, live, from the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska on August 29th.) Commercial BreakNon Title Match Desmond Wolfe vs. © Montel Vontavious PorterDesmond Wolfe was looking to take out some frustrations against the new X-Division Champion, was came in with a huge boost of confidence, after winning the title at Justice. However, the match had just barely started when D'ANGELO DINERO made his way to the ring, and attacked Porter outside the ring. The referee had no choice, but to call for the bell, and award the match to the champion. Wolfe stood in the center of the ring, watching in shock, as Dinero made his way up the ramp. Monday Night Anarchy August 9, 2010 Freedom Hall Louisville, Kentucky (Attendance: 9,024) [/color] Daffney vs. Gail KimBefore this match started, it was announced that the winner would take on Natalya next week, to determine who would challenge Sarita for the Women's Title at Unbreakable. However, the crowd was looking forward to seeing “The Scream Queen” Daffney, but NIKKI BELLA came out in her place. Bella appeared out of sorts, and didn't seem to be called on to fill in for Daffney, as she was taken aback by Kim's onslaught once the bell rang. Bella tried to gain the upper hand, by attempting a high cross body block from the top rope, but Kim moved out of the way, and Bella landed on the referee! Kim then took the fight outside the ring, wearing down her unsuspecting opponent, before tossing Bella back into the ring and hitting the Eat Defeat for the victory. Gail Kim pinned Nikki Bella with the Eat Defeat in 0:18:14. Rating: ***(Backstage, Alisha Hicks is with NATALYA, who says that she is still upset about losing the Women's Title last week... because she says she had already beaten Sarita at Justice, and wasn't happy that she was given a rematch just two weeks later. But, Natalya says that there's nothing she can do about it, except to go out to the ring and take her aggression out on Gail Kim next week. She says that she is determined to get into the title match at Unbreakable, and to take back what is rightfully her's.) (In the dressing room, TYSON KIDD is seen getting ready for his match later tonight, alongside DAVID HART SMITH, who is holding both of the HWL Tag Team Titles. Kidd stands up from stretching as BRUTUS MAGNUS and ROB TERRY enter the dressing room, laughing. Magnus says that Kidd and Smith should hope that they don't face the same fate as their cousin did last week, and lose the Tag Team belts at Unbreakable. He says that The Hart Dynasty's goal of running the HWL will just continue to fall, piece by piece, until they are left titleless and scraping the bottom of the barrel in the wrestling business. Kidd and Smith, having heard enough from their challengers, attack, and the four men begin to brawl in the dressing room. Quickly, HWL officials rush into the locker room and break up the brawl as the four men are separated...) Matt Morgan vs. CM Punk“The Blueprint” came out tonight, looking to keep his winning ways going, after getting a count-out victory over AJ Styles two weeks ago, but he had a tough opponent in CM Punk. The one thing that Punk had going for him, is that he wasn't going to back down from the fight, unlike the current Heavyweight Champion. Punk and Morgan brawled back and forth, and nearly got themselves disqualified after catching each other in choke holds. However, Morgan was able to connect with the Carbon Footprint and put away the “Straight-edge Superstar”. After the match, Morgan attacked Punk's prone body, picking him up and setting Punk up in a Torture Rack. Punk screamed out in pain as the referee tried to get Morgan to realize the hold. Moments later, Morgan dropped Punk onto the canvas and left the ring and walking back up the ramp. Matt Morgan pinned CM Punk after the Carbon Footprint in 0:16:26. Rating: *** ½Commercial Break(As Anarchy returns, a large ladder is seen in the center of the ring, and Desmond Wolfe's music blares through the arena. Wolfe makes his way to the ring, and grabs a microphone before ascending the ladder – much to the awe of the crowd. Upon reaching the top, Wolfe sits on the top rung of the ladder, and addresses the crowd. He says that he has been in this business for a long time, and that he has seen his fair share of things take place; things that made him scratch his head and things that will probably live on in his mind for the rest of his life. But, he says that one thing he will never forget is how jealous AJ Styles was of him, and how desperate Styles was to take the HWL Heavyweight Title away from Wolfe. He says that he didn't think anyone could go as low as Styles did – to pay off Chelsea – as a way to get the title. But, Wolfe says, he's out tonight, to prove that it doesn't matter what Styles and Flair have in mind for Unbreakable, because nothing is going to stand in his way of regaining the Heavyweight Title. The crowd begins to murmur as MR. ANDERSON jumps over the barricade and slides into the ring. Anderson gets to his feet and grabs a side of the ladder, slightly moving it back and forth, as the crowd groans out in horror. Anderson lets the ladder wobble before grabbing it and stopping it on the canvas. HWL officials rush down to the ring and stop Anderson before he can do anything else. Anderson is escorted out of the ring, laughing at Wolfe, who is catching his composure atop the ladder.) (Backstage, Kaz is seen walking out of the dressing room, when he is joined by YOSHI TATSU. Tatsu says that their win last week was great and just what they needed. Kaz agrees, that their win was a step in the right direction, but tells Yoshi that he won't carry the team on his shoulders. Kaz says that he wants to see the fire and intensity that it takes to win a title, in Yoshi, and that tonight against Tyso Kidd would be a great time to show it. Kaz challenges Yoshi to prove that he has the fire to win the Tag Team Titles before walking away.) Tyson Kidd vs. Yoshi TatsuYoshi Tatsu was given an ultimatum by his tag team partner, Kaz, just minutes before stepping into the ring with one-half of the HWL Tag Team Champions. Yoshi was challenged to prove that he had what it took to be dominant inside the ring, and he appeared to have a bit of trouble with that as the match got underway. Tyson Kidd proved to be the more dominant of the two, taking an early advantage until getting a near-fall that he debated was a three-count with the referee. With Kidd's back turned, Tatsu locked on the Octopus Hold for 20 seconds before Kidd was able to reach the bottom rope – with a little help from Natalya. Kidd wasn't able to recover from the move, and relied on the former Women's Champion, who tripped Tatsu as he won into the ropes. The referee called for the bell, but Kidd ignored it, attacking Tatsu as Natalya looked on, cheering. KAZ ran down to the ring, to defend his partner, and Kidd slid out of the ring. He and Natalya smiled at their handy work as they made their way to the back; the crowd booing them. Yoshi Tatsu defeated Tyson Kidd by disqualification in 0:07:56. Rating: * ½ [Natalya interfered against Yoshi Tatsu.](Backstage, the camera shows KANE storming down the hallway, punching lockers and screaming out in anger. A crew member walks towards him, and Kane grabs him by the throat, thrusting him against the cement wall. The crew member crumbles to the ground as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels admit that Kane's loss to Jay Lethal may not sit well with the rest of the HWL...) Commercial Break(Coming from the break, ALEX SHELLEY and RANDY ORTON make their way to the ring; Orton is seen carrying a black leather strap, wrapped around his hand. As they enter the ring, Orton asks for a microphone, as Shelley looks on from the corner. Orton says that he was a little surprised last week, to see that Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase would stoop to such lows as to interfere in a match that meant nothing to either of them, just to prove a point. Orton says that the only point that they proved was that Cody Rhodes needs DiBiase to have his back, or he is likely to lose every time he steps into the ring. Orton says that Alex Shelley was just an innocent bystander in the brewing feud between Rhodes and himself, but says that he wouldn't pass up the chance to get into the ring with Rhodes before their match at Unbreakable. He then holds up the strap, snapping it into the microphone, and saying that if things get out of hand tonight, he wouldn't hesitate to give Rhodes a taste of what he can expect on August 29th...) Alex Shelley/Randy Orton vs. LegacyThere was a little bit of question as to how Alex Shelley and Randy Orton would coexist as a team, having never teamed before tonight, but the answer seemed to be “pretty well”. Shelley was looking to gain back some confidence after the attack by Legacy last week, and Randy Orton was looking to send a message to Cody Rhodes. Shelley and Orton showed good team skills, tagging in and out at opportune times, and keeping the former Tag Team Champions away from each other for most the match. However, while battling with “The Viper” outside the ring, Ted DiBiase threw Orton into the ring post, opening up a small gash on Orton's forehead. Cody Rhodes looked on in sheer delight as DiBiase rolled Orton into the ring and pinned him... only for Orton to kick out at 2 ½! Furious, DiBiase began arguing with the official, unaware that Orton was slowly getting to his feet. With blood streaming down his face, Orton connected with the RKO as DiBiase turned around, pinning him for the 1-2-3! After the match, Orton and Shelley made their way up the ramp as Cody Rhodes watched on in disbelief. Alex Shelley & Randy Orton defeated Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) when R. Orton pinned T. DiBiase with the RKO in 0:10:56. Rating: ** ½(In the back, RIC FLAIR and MR. ANDERSON are seen talking about the events that took place earlier in the evening with Desmond Wolfe. Their laughter is cut short as PETER BRADSHAW confronts them, getting into Flair's face. Bradshaw says that he doesn't understand why Flair thinks he can get away with what he's doing lately, and says that if anything happens to compromise the Heavyweight Title match at Unbreakable, whoever is responsible will be fired on the spot! Bradshaw then leaves the scene as Flair and Anderson continue their celebration.) (Also backstage, D'ANGELO DINERO is seen heading towards the stage area – getting a good pop from the crowd – when he is confronted by RHINO. Rhino says that it's his turn to wish Dinero “good luck” tonight, and that if he has any hope of getting back the X-Division Title, Dinero has to go through “The Man Beast” first.) Commercial BreakJay Lethal vs. D'Angelo DineroIt would seem that “The Pope's” confrontation with Rhino, backstage, hindered his abilities in the ring tonight, as his return to the ring – after suffering an injury two weeks ago – was very short-lived. Lethal, coming off a huge win last week, continued his winning ways using a Flatliner to pick up the victory in less than ONE minute! Jay Lethal pinned D'Angelo Dinero after a Flatline in 0:00:56. Rating: *(Backstage, MATT MORGAN is seen leaving the dressing room with his bags packed, as he approaches KURT ANGLE. Both men stop, and stare at each other, as staff members prepare for what could come next. He begins to laugh as he walks away, leaving Angle to stare at him, shaking his head...) (A preview for “Unbreakable” is shown, highlight the newest match added to the card: the HWL Tag Team Title match between The British Invasion and the champions, The Hart Dynasty. The event will take place on August 29th, from the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.) Non Title Match Evan Bourne vs. © AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)In what would appear to be common theme in the final two matches of the evening, the crowd was left wanting more as these two high-fliers squared off against each other. Right from the start, Styles connected with a DDT that signaled the end... and didn't waste any time hitting a 450 splash to pick up the quick non-title victory. Monday Night Anarchy August 16, 2010 Scottrade Center St. Louis, Missouri (Attendance: 17,430) (The HWL Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, and “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair come out to the ring to start off the program. Styles gets on the microphone and says that, for years, he was the main focal point of TNA Wrestling, and that he was able to achieve that success alone... without people watching his back. He says that all changed after a few years when the fans started turning their backs on him, saying that he didn't have what it took to be the face of the franchise. People started taking advantage of him, knowing that there would be no one to save him; Ric Flair changed that. Styles says that Flair came in and saw the potential that Styles had... and knew that with a little tuning, he could be the next great champion in professional wrestling. He says that, with Flair's guidance, Styles will be remembered for years to come. Flair then got on the microphone and said that he wasn't surprised by the fact that Peter Bradshaw is trying to throw his weight around backstage, because he's a new player in the game of professional wrestling. But, Flair says, he was surprised that Bradshaw is obsessing with making sure nothing happen to Desmond Wolfe before the Heavyweight Title match at Unbreakable. Flair says that for years men and women have been breaking into this business, only to pay their dues and get their asses kicked, and hoping to one day break through and win the “Big One”. Flair says that Desmond Wolfe attained that success on the indy level, and was fortunate enough to have serious winning streak when he first came into the HWL; even winning the Heavyweight Title. But, Flair says, it's time Wolfe realizes that there are bigger names in this company, and sooner or later he will see that he just don't have what it takes to “hang”. Flair says that Bradshaw is “babying” Wolfe, because Bradshaw doesn't like AJ Styles as the top man in the HWL, but that it's something the owner is just going to get over. With his guidance, Flair says, that AJ Styles is going to stay on the top for as long as he wants to. Wooo!) (Backstage, Alisha Hicks is with KANE, who said that he had never been so humiliated during his career as he was two weeks ago. “The Big Red Monster” said that sooner or later Jay Lethal would feel his wrath, but tonight, he would take all that pent up frustration on Matt Morgan; and that he intended on making his trip to Unbreakable as painful as possible.) Number One Contenders Match Natalya vs. Gail KimOver the past couple weeks, Natalya had claimed that she would do whatever it took to get back in the ring with Sarita, for a chance to win back the Women's Title. Last week, having to wait and find out who she would be facing for that chance, seemed to have fueled the final inside the former champion as she came out swinging against Gail Kim. But, showing a resilience that a lot of fans hadn't seen in the past, Gail Kim took what Natalya threw at her and kept coming back for more, eventually wearing her down enough to hit the Eat Defeat for the victory. After the match, Gail celebrated inside the ring as the crowd watched on in shock. Gail Kim pinned Natalya with the Eat Defeat in 0:10:16. Rating: **** ¼(Backstage, D'ANGELO DINERO was seen walking through the hallway, when he bumped into Peter Bradshaw. Bradshaw said that he was looking Dinero, because he had something to tell him about the Number One Contenders match tonight tonight. Bradshaw said that, for some unknown reason, Rhino had not shown up at the arena tonight. And, because of that, Bradshaw had made the decision to replace him with Cody Rhodes. Bradshaw patted Dinero on the arm and walked away as “The Pope” appeared confused.) Commercial Break(Coming back from the break, DESMOND WOLFE is seen entering the arena, and is met by Alisha Hicks, who shares with him what AJ Styles and Ric Flair had to say to start off the show. Wolfe said that they were both full of s**t, and that their perception of things is completely wrong. He said that Peter Bradshaw is in no way “babying” him, and that the only person being babied is Styles. Wolfe said that it's true, Bradshaw doesn't like Styles as Heavyweight Champion, but who would after the way he won it? He said that if AJ Styles wanted to prove that he wasn't being babied, and that he was able to win the belt by himself, then once again, he should tell Flair, Chelsea and Mr. Anderson to stay backstage at Unbreakable...) Alex Shelley vs. Skip SheffieldNeither Alex Shelley nor the crowd in St. Louis knew who would be Shelley's opponent tonight, and everyone was taken aback when the bigger Skip Sheffield appeared on-stage. Shelley was stunned at first, but quickly took the fight to Sheffield after the bell rang. Sheffield used his size and power to fight back, but appeared to injure his leg, allowing Shelley to connect with a springboard back elbow to pick up the victory. After the match, Shelley left the ring as Sheffield rolled around on the canvas, grabbing his leg in pain. The referee called for the medical staff, who slowly take Sheffield out of the ring, and escort him to the backstage area. Alex Shelley pinned Skip Sheffield after a springboard back elbow in 0:09:08. **Skip Sheffield tore his right PCL. (Backstage, MATT MORGAN is seen standing alone, looking into the camera. He said that he's got a lot on his mind tonight: his submission match against Kurt Angle at Unbreakable and the match he's about to have with “The Big Red Monster” Kane. Morgan said that he knows Kane is pissed off about losing to Jay Lethal, but that he isn't scared of what Kane is capable in the ring. Morgan said that Kane can come down to the ring as angry as he wanted, but Morgan was the one that had something to prove. He said that he intended to continue sending a message to Kurt Angle, and if Kane got more upset in the process, that he couldn't blame anyone but himself...) Commercial BreakMatt Morgan vs. KaneThese two behemoths of the HWL stepped into the ring tonight, both with something to prove, but “The Big Red Monster” was the one who walked away having done what he said he would. Morgan was intent on sending a message to Kurt Angle, heading into their Submission Match at Unbreakable, and seemed to try too hard to get Kane to submit; the plan back-fired as Morgan took himself out of the “power game” and was slightly over-matched by Kane. Kane hit the Chokeslam From Hell to pick up the victory. After the match, Kane got onto the microphone, and told Jay Lethal if had what it took to step into the ring with Kane one more time at Unbreakable, to see if Lethal could pull another upset “out of his ass”. Kane pinned Matt Morgan with the Choke Slam From Hell in 0:11:45. Rating: ** ¼(Backstage, in the locker room, KAZ and YOSHI TATSU are seen getting ready for their match. He told Tatsu, that tonight, he has another opportunity to take the fight to Kidd – and David Hart Smith – and that they have a chance to prove something to everyone in the HWL. Kaz said that a win against the Tag Team Champions would be very hard to come by, but that it would be a huge highlight for both of them. He slapped Tatus on the shoulder before leaving the locker room...) (Also backstage, ROB TERRY and BRUTUS MAGNUS are seen standing around a television. They say that the greatest thing they could ask for tonight, would be to see Yoshi and Kaz beat The Hart Dynasty. Magnus said that the Dynasty is already on its way down, and that all the time the spent making themselves sound like the best thing in wrestling was nothing but wasted breath. He said that watching them lose tonight would be almost as good as winning the Tag Team Titles at Unbreakable...) Non Title Match Yoshi Tatsu/Kaz vs. © The Hart DynastyYoshi Tatsu and Kaz have been on a pretty significant winning streak as of late, and they had a big challenge ahead of them tonight in the form of the Tag Team Champions. Stepping into the ring with the current champs didn't hinder Tatsu or Kaz from doing what has made them successful, using their speed and quick tags to their advantage; but, The Hart Dynasty showed why, in fact, they are the Tag Team Champions, taking everything their opponents could throw at them and not giving up. At the end of the match, all four men were in the ring – Tatsu and Smith the two legal men – and Kaz connected with a superkick on Smith, allowing Tatsu to lock on an inside cradle for the victory. After the match, Yoshi celebrated in the ring as Kaz looked on unimpressed. Kaz left the ring to leave Yoshi staring at his partner in disbelief. Yoshi Tatsu & Kaz defeated The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) when Y. Tatsu pinned D.H. Smith with an inside cradle 0:08:04. Rating: ** ¼Commercial Break(Backstage, CODY RHODES was seen getting ready for his impromptu Number One Contenders Match, when TED DIBIASE walked into the locker room. DIBIASE said he wanted to know “where the hell [Rhodes's] mind was” last week, when Randy Orton hit the RKO to win the match. DiBiase blamed Rhodes for not having his back, when he should've let DiBiase know that Orton was getting back to his feet. Rhodes shot back, saying that if DiBiase hadn't been aruging with the referee, he would've stayed on Orton, and the match would've have ended the way it did. Rhodes then said that he was finished talking about it, because he had a match to win. He walked out of the locker room, leaving DiBiase fuming...) (DESMOND WOLFE was seen walking through the backstage area, and as he turned a corner, was met by AJ STYLES. Styles said that he was surprised to hear what Wolfe had to say about him and Flair tonight, basically challenging his manhood. Wolfe said that someone had to challenge it, because he was the only one that saw it as fake. Wolfe stared into Styles's eyes and said that they both knew, that without Ric Flair by his side, Styles would be nothing in the HWL. Wolfe said there was only one way to prove that he was “man” enough to hold the Heavyweight Title, and before he could finish, Styles accepted the stipulation of leaving managers backstage... for the second straight match. The two of them stared at each other, saying nothing for a moment, before Wolfe smiled and walked away...) D'Angelo Dinero vs. Cody RhodesThe crowd in St. Louis – and the at-home audience – had been waiting a week to see what would happen between D'Angelo Dinero and Rhino, as they battled for the chance to face Montel Vontavious Porter at Unbreakable. However, that match did not take place, as detailed earlier in the evening, and Dinero had to settle with facing Cody Rhodes tonight. Rhodes appeared to be a little flustered, having not expected a match tonight – especially one that had title implications – and it showed, as he was just not able to battle with Dinero. A ref bump, late in the match, made things interesting, but Dinero still hit the DDE, and picked up the victory as the referee made the slow three count. D'Angelo Dinero pinned Cody Rhodes after the DDE in 0:09:03. Rating: ** ½(The crowd went crazy as RANDY ORTON was seen, walking backstage, and was joined by ALEX SHELLEY. Shelley said that it wasn't like him to do something like this, before thanking Orton for having his back the last couple weeks against Legacy. Orton said that it was just another chance to get the better of Cody Rhodes before Unbreakable, and that he was glad he and Shelley could got the win last week. Shelley then wished Orton luck in the main event, saying that he might not need it, with the hometown crowd behind him. Shelley then walked away, as Orton continued to the stage area...) Commercial Break(A preview for “Unbreakable” is shown, announcing that “just tonight”, the X-Division Title Match was added to the card, as Montel Vontavious Porter will defend the title against D'Angelo Dinero on August 29th, live from the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska!) Randy Orton vs. Desmond WolfeThe hometown crowd was squarely behind “The Viper” tonight as he stepped into the ring against Desmond Wolfe, who was coming off a disappointing loss two weeks ago to MVP. Wolfe appeared to still be dealing with some mental issues stemming from the events that took place at Justice, and Orton was clearly in control. Somehow, though, Wolfe was able to push off an RKO attempt, and connected with a vicious Jawbreaker Lariat to pick up the victory. After the match Wolfe stood in the center of the ring, starring down at Orton, as he held his throat in pain. Desmond Wolfe pinned Randy Orton after the Jawbreaker Lariat in 0:06:43. Monday Night Anarchy August 23, 2010 Sprint Arena Kansas City, Missouri (Attendance: 14,183) Women's Title Match Gail Kim vs. © SaritaA week after picking up a huge victory over former Women's Champion Natalya, last week, Gail Kim squared off against Sarita with the title on the line. The HWL crowd hadn't seen Sarita over the last few weeks, but she appeared to have not lost a step since she was last in the ring, as she hit the Tiger Driver to picked up the victory and retain the Women's Title. Sarita pinned Gail Kim with the Tiger Driver in 0:08:18. Rating: *** ½ (Sarita retained the HWL Women's Title.)(The HWL Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, Ric Flair and Chelsea are seen entering the area, and the crowd echoes with boos. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss tonight's non-title main event between Styles and Kaz.) (A highlight package is shown, from last week's episode of “PCW Wrestling”, showing Kaval and Steve Corino winning the PCW Tag Team Titles. Also shown is Daniel Bryan's run to the PCW Heavyweight Title, and the post-match attack by Bryan and Homicide. It is announced that, tomorrow night, there will be an eight-man Battle Royal for the PCW Television Title.) Alex Shelley vs. Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya)A week after stepping into the ring with a much larger opponent, Alex Shelley took on one-half of the Tag Team Champions in Tyson Kidd. These two men put on quite a show for the crowd, swapping aerial maneuvers and countless near-falls. Tyson Kidd was determined to not give Shelley the same fortune he had last week, when Skip Sheffield went down with an injury, and did his best to not face the same fate, kicking out of two separate Air Raid Crash attempts! However, the choice was made my Natalya, who put Kidd's foot on the bottom rope – if full view of the referee – forcing the match to be called in Shelley's favor. After the match, Shelley slid out of the ring, as Tyson Kidd looked on in shock at Natalya outside the ring. Alex Shelley defeated Tyson Kidd by disqualification in 0:13:29. Rating: ** ½ [Natalya interfered against Alex Shelley.]Commercial Break(Backstage, Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase are seen with Alisha Hicks, who asks for their opinion on their opponents tonight: The Usos. Cody Rhodes says that The Usos made a point to talk about their family's heritage in the wrestling business, last week, and that they wanted to continue their legacy. Rhodes says that the only people making their own legacy are the two men the Usos will step into the ring with tonight. Rhodes walked away from the camera, leaving DiBiase standing in front of the camera, shaking his head.) (Standing alone, backstage, KANE says that he is not – and will not be – content with just a victory over Matt Morgan. He says that he has sat by for too long, especially being in the main event for the Heavyweight Title, back in April. He says that he will no longer let himself be held back, and that a new fury will be unleashed across the HWL like never before. He says that, at Unbreakable, he will begin his new path back to the top.) The Usos (w/Tamina) vs. LegacyCody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase have appeared to be on tense terms with one another since losing the Tag Team Titles back in July, and there were required to be on the same page tonight, as they took on The Usos. The Usos, however, were looking for their first victory in the HWL since arriving a few weeks ago, and got off to a good start tonight. However, with Rhodes and DiBiase seemingly on the same page, and using their extensive experience over their rookie opponents, they were able to pick up the victory as DiBiase connected with the Dream Street on Jimmy Uso for the 1-2-3. Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase) defeated The Uso (Jimmy & Jey) when T. DiBiase pinned Jimmy with the Dream Street in 0:14:54. Rating: *** ½ [Tamina interfered against Ted DiBiase.](Backstage, Alisha Hicks is with MATT MORGAN. Morgan says that he still isn't very happy about his loss to Kane last week; saying that it killed a lot of personal momentum he had coming into Unbreakable. He says that his mind is still focused on Kurt Angle and their submission match on Sunday night, but that it appears Kurt's mind isn't in the same place. Morgan says that he was quite surprised to see Angle show up in PCW a couple weeks ago, and that he hopes Angle isn't more concerned with winning a second-rate title instead of getting humiliated at Unbreakable. Morgan says that he has an idea that would bring Angle's attention back to their final match. He smirks and walks away, leaving Alisha – and the fans – with questions.) Commercial Break(A video package plays, showing DESMOND WOLFE arriving in Omaha, NE, and walking through the streets of the city, on his way to the Qwest Center. In a voice over, Wolfe says that he has worked too hard to get where he is in the business, and put his body and life on the life too many times, to have what is rightfully his “stolen” from him. A second clip shows Wolfe standing in the center of the arena, looking at the thousands of empty seats. The voice over continues, and Wolfe says that in just a matter of minutes, AJ Styles happened to ruin Wolfe's life... and he did it in front of thousands of people. But, Wolfe says, that paybacks are a bitch, and that there is no way he is letting AJ get the better of him on Sunday night. The voice over ends with Wolfe saying that he will be waiting for AJ...) Evan Bourne vs. Matt Morgan“The Blueprint” was coming off a very a momentum killing loss to Kane last week, and he didn't try to hide his frustration tonight, making very quick work of his much smaller opponent. Morgan hit a vertical suplex side slam for the victory. Matt Morgan pinned Evan Bourne after a vertical suplex side slam in 0:01:23. Rating: * ¾(Backstage, RANDY ORTON is seen on his way to the stage area when, for the second week in a row, he is stopped by Alex Shelley. Shelley says he was sorry to see Orton lose last week, especially in front of all his family and friends. Orton became visibly upset as Shelley said he wasn't sure if he should wish him luck or not. Orton turned to Shelley sand said that he was beginning to get on Orton's nerves, and that Shelley should just leave well enough alone. Orton walked away as Shelley looked on in shock.) (In the dressing room, KAZ and YOSHI TATSU are seen discussing their victory last week. Tatsu says that he thinks he's proving himself, and got the pinfall over David Hart Smith last week. Kaz said that he hated to burst Yoshi's bubble again, but without the superkick, Kaz isn't sure that Yoshi would've been able to beat Smith. Yoshi shakes his head in disbelief as Kaz says that he still sees a lot of potential in his tag team partner, and says that he should really take notes about how to get the advantage over your opponent tonight, when Kaz faces off against AJ Styles. Kaz pats Yoshi on the shoulder before leaving the dressing room, and Yoshi just stares off-camera, shaking his head...) CM Punk vs. Randy OrtonOrton started off the match with the advantage, again trying to show a preview of what Cody Rhodes could look forward to this Sunday, at Unbreakable. After wearing down Punk, Orton hit the RKO and went for the cover, but Punk was able to put his foot on the ropes to break up the count. Punk eventually took over, hitting numerous kicks to Orton's lower body, trying to take that part of his game out of play. But, as Punk ran into the ropes for a clothesline, Orton bounced up and connected with a second RKO – out of nowhere! - and covered Punk for the 1-2-3. Randy Orton pinned CM Punk with the RKO in 0:09:53. Rating: ***Commercial Break(The final preview for Unbreakable is shown, highlighting the matches that have been announced. The event will take place THIS SUNDAY at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska!) (Backstage, KANE is seen walking out of the arena, when YOSHI TATSU comes from behind and smacks him in the back with a steel chair. Unfazed by the shot, Kane stops and turns around, grabbing the chair out of Tatsu's hands and throwing it to the ground. Showing an unseen aggression, Yoshi goes on the attack, hitting punches and kicks to “The Big Red Monster”, but Kane fight back, pushing Yoshi into the brick wall surrounding the parking area. Kane grabs Yoshi and Irish whips him back into the brick wall, before grabbing him by the throat and whispering into his ear that he just made the biggest mistake of his life. Kane laughs and asks how stupid Kaz is going to think Yoshi is for this... before landing a hard shot into Yoshi's midsection, dropping him to the ground. Kane walks away, laughing, as the camera shows Yoshi laying on the pavement...) Non-Title Match Kaz vs. © AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)Just six days away from having to put the Heavyweight Title on the line against a very pissed off former champion, AJ Styles had Ric Flair and Chelsea down at ringside for the final time before Unbreakable this Sunday night. Neither of them seemed to be an issue for Kaz, who came into this match with the intention on showing his partner – Yoshi Tatsu – the right way about proving one's self-confidence. Both men fought hard, and the match was very physical, with each man connecting with multiple finishing maneuvers... only for their opponents to kick out before the count of three. From the outside, however, Ric Flair had seen enough, and slid inside the ring with a steel chair, and hit Kaz in the back with a vicious shot! The referee called for the bell as Styles and Flair continued to assault Kaz in the middle of the ring... until DESMOND WOLFE ran from the back and cleared house! Styles, Flair and Chelsea fled the ringside area as Wolfe begged them to come back, as “Anarchy” went off the air. Kaz defeated AJ Styles by disqualification in 0:12:17. HWL Unbreakable PPV August 29, 2010 Qwest Center Omaha, Nebraska (Attendance: 11,760) Fireworks explode inside the arena as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Omaha(!) The jam-packed crowd goes crazy as camera show off the stage set-up and the ring. Daniels and Michels announce that there are six huge matches tonight – including tonight's main event – a Ladder Match for the HWL Heavyweight Title. And, just added during the week from HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw: if either Mr. Anderson, Ric Flair, or Chelsea interfere, they will be fired on the spot. They then send it to the ring for tonight's first match... Yoshi Tatsu vs. KaneOn paper, this match was heavily favored to be won by “The Big Red Monster”, and Kane appeared ready to make very short work of his smaller opponent tonight. However, Yoshi Tatsu, showing the same lack of care for himself that he showed last Monday, came out swinging, and shocked Kane with his tenacity. Tatsu showed a different kind of resolve than he has in the past, kicking out after TWO Choke Slams from Hell! Yet, he was unable to last much longer, and fell victim to a powerslam as Kane picked up the victory. Kane pinned Yoshi Tatsu after a powerslam in 0:19:58. Rating: ***The crowd begins to boo as the JumboTron shows the HWL Heavyweight Champion, AJ STYLES, entering the arena, flanked by Ric Flair and Chelsea. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels talk about the fact that tonight is the “Rubber Match” between Styles and Desmond Wolfe; and that Peter Bradshaw has announced that neither man can challenge for the title as long as the other one hold it, after tonight. A “hype” video shows the on-going verbal battle between The British Invasion and The Hart Dynasty, leading up to tonight's Tag Team Title Match. HWL Tag Team Title Match: The British Invasion vs. © The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya)A lot went in to making this match over the last few weeks: upsets, verbal assaults, and a lot of mockery on the end of the challengers. However, when it came time for The British Invasion to back up their words with action, they were unable to do so. The Hart Dynasty had the fan support tonight in Omaha, but they also had Natalya at ringside, which gave them an advantage – whether The British Invasion wanted to admit it or not. With Natalya keeping them at bay outside the ring, the Invasion weren't able to use underhanded tactics, and were caught off guard when Tyson Kidd pinned Brutus Magnus with a Victory Roll! After the match, as the Dynasty celebrated outside of the ring, Brutus Magnus looked at the referee in absolute shock as he tried to argue the call. He smashed his fists into the canvas as The Dynasty made their way up the ramp. The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Rob Terry) when T. Kidd pinned B. Magnus after a Victory Roll in 0:06:19. Rating: * ½ (The Hart Dynasty retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.)Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with MATT MORGAN, who has a sadistic smile crossing his face. Morgan says that he has done everything to persuade Kurt Angle to show his face on Anarchy for the past two weeks, and still “The Olympic Gold Medalist” is hiding from him. He says that Angle wasn't able to hide last Tuesday night, and that Morgan knows why Angle isn't here tonight: because he doesn't want to get another taste of what he got on “PCW Wrestling”. Morgan says that he'll go out to that ring, tonight, and wait all night for Angle to show up – if he has the guts. Also backstage, standing by himself, D'ANGELO DINERO looks into the camera with a determined stare. Dinero says that tonight is going to be his night of redemption; the night when he gets back what he should've never lost in the first place. He says that, without being forced to vacate the title because of his leg injury, he'd be walking into Unbreakable as X-Division Champion. But, he says that the next best thing is going to be him beating MVP all over Omaha, and walking out with his title around his waist. “I Quit” Match: Matt Morgan vs. Steve CorinoThe crowd was a little stunned by Kurt Angle's replacement tonight – the debuting Steve Corino, from PCW – but, Corino proved that he was a very capable opponent on the main stage. He gave “The Blueprint” much more of a fight than Morgan had bargained for, and just wouldn't quit! However, towards the end of the match, after getting slammed head-first into the steel ringsteps – and losing a lot of blood afterward – Corino was finished off by a vicious Carbon Footprint onto the concrete at ringside! Morgan, bloodied himself by a shot into the guardrail, brought Corino into the ring, where the referee noticed him unconscious, and called for the bell. After the match, Morgan stood over Corino, and celebrated his victory as the crowd booed. Matt Morgan defeated Steve Corino when S. Corino passed out in a choke against the ropes in 0:46:39. Rating: ***Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with the X-Division Champion, MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER. Porter says that D'Angelo Dinero can blame his “little injury” all he wants to, as the reason why he had to give up the X-Division Title. But, MVP says that Dinero never earned the right to challenge for the title tonight, instead, he kept getting lucky break after lucky break before eventually ending up here tonight. MVP says that, had Dinero not vacated the title, he would've lost the belt last month anyway. He says that, tonight, he will show Dinero why he's the HWL's Playmaker; and why he should be – and is – the rightful owner of the X-Division Title belt. Also backstage, CODY RHODES is seen getting ready for his match against Randy Orton, when he is confronted by “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes! The crowd goes crazy as the wrestling legend appears on-screen. But, the cheers quickly become jeers as Dusty tells Cody to stop at nothing to make sure Orton gets what he deserves. Dusty tells Cody that he's proud of him, for Inaking the initiative to bestow honor back on the family name, and that anything else then a victory tonight would not be tolerated. X-Division Title Match D'Angelo Dinero vs. © Montel Vontavious PorterThe crowd was absolutely shocked – and not in a good way – at how quickly this match ended! These two men had been looking forward to this match for weeks, and they proved appeared ready to do battle, but a fluke accident in the center of the ring allowed Dinero to pin Porter for a surprising fast 1-2-3. D'Angelo Dinero pinned Montel Vontavious Porter after a legsweep faceslam in 0:02:46. Rating: * ¾ (D'Angelo Dinero won the HWL X-Division Title.)Backstage, Alisha Hicks is with RANDY ORTON. Orton says that it was nice to see Dusty Rhodes backstage, giving his son a pep talk. But, he asks if Cody Rhodes should be taken advice from someone who had put their body on the line for all those years, and now can barely walk, yet alone stand. Orton says that it was touching to see Dusty give his son an ultimatum, but warns Cody that his father doesn't give a damn about his well being. Orton says that, when he was breaking into the business, his father told him that it was Randy's decision, and that whatever happened to him would be his own fault. So, Randy says that he's not wanting to win this match for his family's honor; he's not winning this match for his father. The only person he wants to win this match for, tonight, is himself. In another area backstage, the Heavyweight Champion, AJ STYLES, is seen standing by himself without the title belt. He says that tonight is the final time that he and Desmond Wolfe will step into the ring together as long as either one of them holds the Heavyweight Title. Styles says he knows that there is a lot riding on this match, and that Desmond Wolfe had mad it very clear that he's waiting for Styles tonight. But, Styles says that Desmond Wolfe doesn't have the kind of pressure weighing down on his shoulders like AJ has. Styles says that he finally got a taste of what it's like to be on top again, and that whether or not Ric Flair or Chelsea are at ringside, he is going to stop at nothing to keep that title belt. Styles says that he doesn't need the help of those two to prove to Desmond Wolfe that he's better than he is; the Heavyweight Title that has been around his waist for the past month proves that... and it doesn't matter how he got it! Styles says that tonight, with the belt hanging down from the rafters, it'll be the closer Desmond Wolfe gets to the gold for a long, long time. Strap Match Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton“The Viper” wasted no time tonight, striking Rhodes right from the start. Orton's shocking display of aggressive offense startled Rhodes, who was never fully able to retaliate. And, because of that, Orton had no true problem touching all four corners of the ring to pick up the victory. Randy Orton defeated Cody Rhodes in 0:05:11. Rating: ** ¼Backstage, also standing by himself, DESMOND WOLFE looks into the camera. He laughs to himself and wonders what sort of lies Ric Flair had been feeding into AJ Style's mind. He wonders why Styles thinks he can beat Desmond Wolfe alone, when just last month, he had already thought of a scheme that would screw Wolfe out of the Heavyweight Title. Wolfe says that Styles is nothing but talk when he's put in front of a camera – or when he's flanked by the people that will help him cheat to victory – but, when he gets put into a situation where he has to fend for himself, he's unable to do it. Wolfe says that he proved that last month inside the Steel Cage – even though he came up on the short end of the stick – and, that he'll prove it again, when AJ is all alone, staring up at the Heavyweight Title for the last time. Wolfe says that he has been waiting for Styles to come to Omaha, because he knows that it's the one last night where he can get “The Phenomenal One” inside the ring alone, and make him regret ever getting on Wolfe's bad side. A preview for the HWL's next pay-per-view event, “Hostile Takeover” is shown. The event will take place on September 26th, from Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! HWL Heavyweight Title – Ladder Match Desmond Wolfe vs. © AJ StylesAnticipation filled the Qwest Center tonight as the fans awaited the third match-up between these two in their quest to see who was the better superstar. The fans were going to get a definite winner tonight, because of all managers were banned from ringside, and they would've been out of a job had they shown up at ringside. The title belt loomed over both competitors as the match started, and Wolfe and Styles traded advantages throughout the match, thanks in large part to the steel ladders in the ring and laying around ringside. Countless times, both men were just inches away from grabbing the title belt, only to have the ladder knocked out from under their feet, sending them crashing down to the canvas! Both men were visibly exhausted – and their bodies were taking a toll – at the end of the match, but somehow, Desmond Wolfe found the strength to connect with his second Jawbreaker Lariat. The finished knocked AJ outside the ring, and allowed Wolfe a slow, yet successful, trip to the top of the ladder where he grabbed the Heavyweight Title. As the bell rang, the crowd went crazy, and Wolfe celebrated on the top of the ladder. Desmond Wolfe defeated AJ Styles in 0:11:18. Rating: *** ½ (Desmond Wolfe won the HWL Heavyweight Title.)Card Rating: ** ½

Monday Night Anarchy August 30, 2010 Wells Fargo Arena Des Moines, Iowa (Attendance: 5,465) Highlights from last night's Unbreakable pay-per-view are shown to begin the program; the final still is of Desmond Wolfe holding the HWL Heavyweight Title. Now, in the arena, pyrotechnics shoot through the air, as the crowd goes crazy, and Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Des Moines. It is announced that all three champions will be in action tonight, including a rematch for the X-Division Title between Montel Vontavious Porter and D'Angelo Dinero. Desmond Wolfe appears on-stage, dressed in a brand new suit, and holds up the Heavyweight Title as the crowd cheers. Cameras flash throughout the arena as Wolfe drapes the title over his shoulder, and make his way down the ramp, entering the ring. He takes a microphone and says that it's good to stand in the ring as champion once again. (Crowd cheers) But, he says that he's even happier that, last night at Unbreakable, he finished what AJ Styles started. (Crowd boos Styles) Wolfe says that AJ put up a good fight last night, but that he just can't get the job done by himself. Wolfe wonders what Chelsea thinks about the former champion tonight, and if she sees Wolfe standing out here, regretting the decision she made. Wolfe says he's not going to concern himself with that thought, because “that bitch” made the choice, and now she has to deal with it. (Crowd cheers) Wolfe says that he's out here tonight because he knows that there are plenty of people who are waiting in line to get a taste of the Heavyweight Title, and he just wants to see who's next... The lights in the arena go out as fire shoots out from the stage. Josh Daniels and Scott Micheals say that it could only be one man... “The Big Red Monster” Kane! Kane appears on-stage, walking through the flames, on his way to the ring. Kane steps over the top rope and stands in the center of the ring, looking down at the Heavyweight Champion; a sadistic smile on his face. Kane takes the microphone from Wolfe, as the lights come back on, and says that he's going to make this short. He says that, just like everyone in the back, the Heavyweight Title is definitely on his mind. But tonight, the only thing he's thinking about, is sending a message to Wolfe; to hurt him. Kane says that Wolfe may now be finished with AJ Styles, but that his second title reign won't be nearly as long as his first one... as long as Kane has anything to say about it. Kane drops the microphone, and leaves the ring, staring into the ring as Desmond Wolfe stands in the center of the ring, returning the glare. Commercial BreakNon-Title Match: Velvet Sky vs. © SaritaIt appeared that The Beautiful People had been thinking up a pretty decent plan during their time away from the wrestling ring. Tonight, Velvet Sky had the chance to show what she could do against Sarita, who was coming off an impressive victory against Gail Kim last night at Unbreakable. However, Velvet had no plans of using her wrestling skills to her advantage, as she ran out of the ring, pleading for Sarita to come and get her. Not wanting to win the match by countout, Sarita gave in, and gave chase. Unknown to the Women's Champion AND the crowd in Des Moines, ANGELINA LOVE had been hiding under the ring! She sneaked out and connected with a boot shot to Sarita's head, knowing the champion unconscious. Velvet slid into the ring and celebrated as the referee counted Sarita out. After the match TBP celebrated as the crowd looked on in disgust. Velvet Sky defeated Sarita by countout in 0:00:50. Rating: *Backstage, the camera shows Cody Rhodes walking slowly into the locker room, where Ted DiBiase is seen sitting on a chair next to his locker. DiBiase waits for Rhodes to sit down at his locker before asking whether or not his match at Unbreakable was worth it or not. DiBiase says that he had never once heard Rhodes talk about wanting to get even with Randy Orton, and that he thought they were on the same page. But, DiBiase says, he hopes Cody learned his lesson last night. But, before he can finish his thought, Rhodes interrupts him, wanting to know why DiBiase has been on his ass about facing Orton last night. DiBiase says that it's simple. He tells Cody that Cody turned his back on their tag team after they lost the titles to The Hart Dynasty, and that if he had given a damn, they would be doing whatever they could to get those belts back. Rhodes slowly gets back to his feet, shaking his head, and tells Ted that he doesn't have to put up with his crap. Rhodes walks back out of the locker room, and the camera shows DiBiase staring at him as he leaves. Also backstage, Peter Bradshaw is seen walking through the hallways, greeting various crew members and making small talk. Montel Vontavious Porter appears on-screen, and interrupts the Owner, saying that he wanted to thank Bradshaw for allowing the rematch to take place tonight. Bradshaw says that, whether the rematch happens tonight or not, Porter should be ashamed of what the fans had to witness last night. Porter says that he doesn't care what the fans think, but that he has another chance to win back the X-Division Title. Bradshaw tells Porter that Porter might not care about the fans, but Bradshaw does; and that if Porter doesn't care about fans, then he clearly doesn't care what Bradshaw thinks. Porter stumbles over his words, trying to find something to say, but Bradshaw pats on the arm and walks away, leaving Porter flustered. Randy Orton vs. Matt MorganBoth of these men were coming off wins last night at Unbreakable, but “The Blueprint” showed his displeasure for having to face Steve Corino instead of Kurt Angle, and he took out that aggression on “The Viper”. However, Morgan's rage got the better of him tonight, as he continuously disobeyed the referee's orders, and eventually got disqualified for not breaking a chokehold after the five-count. After the referee called for the bell, Morgan turned his attention on him, and chased the referee out of the ring as Orton lay prone in the corner. Seizing the opportunity, Morgan grabbed Orton, and brought him to his feet before hitting a Hellevator in the center of the ring! The crowd booed as Morgan stood over Orton, staring at him. Randy Orton defeated Matt Morgan by disqualification in 0:12:52. Rating: ** ½Commercial BreakComing back from the break, Alisha Hicks introduces the new X-Division Champion, D'Angelo Dinero, who gets a huge cheer from the crowd at ringside. Hicks asks for Dinero's thoughts on having the defend the title he won just 24 hours ago, against the man he beat for it – MVP. Dinero says that he heard what Peter Bradshaw had to say a little bit ago, and that he's not the only one that's embarrassed about how last night's match ended. Dinero says that he didn't want to beat Porter because of a fluke accident inside the ring, but that he wanted to go out and prove there's a reason why he's the only two-time X-Division Champion. And, unlike Porter, Dinero says that he knows the fans deserve an X-Division match for the title, and promises to give them what they want, later tonight. Back at ringside, The Hart Dynasty is seen standing in the center of the ring. Tyson Kidd and David Hart Smith have the Tag Team Titles wrapped around their waists, and Natalya stands between them, motioning for the crowd to continue the mixed reaction they are giving the trio. D.H. Smith takes a microphone and says that, whether the crowd in “this poe-dunk city” likes it or not, last night they did what they said they were going to do: they shut up The British Invasion. Smith says that he and Tyson Kidd may not have been champions as long as some other team – in reference to the former champions, The Motor City Machine Guns – but that they have shown dominance over every other tag team in the HWL, and that they have nothing left to prove. Smith says that, tonight, The Usos should be honored to even be stepping into the same ring with The Hart Dynasty, and that they will get a lesson in what a tag team with “real heritage” can do. Smith gives the microphone to Natalya, as she leaves the ring, and Smith and Kidd await The Usos... Non-Title Match: The Usos (w/Tamina) vs. © The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya)The Hart Dynasty were coming off a huge title defense against The British Invasion, just 24 hours ago, and were looking to keep that momentum going tonight, as they took on the winless HWL rookies. The Usos were determined to get their first victory, and hoping for a huge upset tonight against the Tag Team Champions, but their determination seemed to have gotten the better of them as Jimmy Uso failed to heed the five-count from the referee, thus getting him and his brother disqualified, and continuing their losing ways. The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) when D.H. Smith defeated Jimmy by disqualification in 0:03:32. Rating: * ¼– After the match, Tyson Kidd jumped into the ring and attacked Jimmy Uso, pulling him away from Smith. Kidd and Jimmy Uso began to brawl in the center of the ring as Jey Uso rushed into the ring and threw Smith to the outside. Jey then attacked Kidd from behind, and The Usos kept up the assault until Smith gained his composure and slid under the bottom rope, clearing the ring. Smith knelt over Kidd's body, and stared at The Usos, as they made their way up the ramp, smiling at what they had done to the Tag Team Champions. Backstage, Yoshi Tatsu is seen sitting in the locker room with a large wrap around his midsection, when Kaz walks in and sits beside him. Kaz says he wants to know what was going on through Yoahi's mind last week, when he attacked Kane and agreed to the match with him last night. Through slow, drawn-out breaths, Yoshi says that Kaz has been telling Yoshi to take control of his career, and to prove that he can hold his own inside the ring, so he went after the biggest man on the roster. Yoshi says that he wants Kaz to be proud of him, and he wants to win the Tag Team Titles... Kaz tells Yoshi that he needs to stop trying so hard, and just let things come together. Kaz says that, sooner or later, they will get their shot at the Tag Team Title... and when it happens, they will walk away as champions. Commercial BreakComing back from the break, Alisha Hicks is seen backstage with Steve Corino, who gets a mixed reaction from the crowd at ringside. Alisha asks for Corino's thoughts about debuting last night in place of Kurt Angle in the “I Quit” Match against Matt Morgan. Corino says that he wasn't going to lie, and that last night was very nerve-racking for him. He says that he knew his chances against Matt Morgan were going to be slim, because Morgan was dead-set on sending a message to Angle, but that Corino was just hoping to survive the match. Corino says that he is sore, and a little banged up, but he did survive “The Blueprint's” rage. He says that he got off to a really rough start in the HWL, but that his goal was to make up for it, and make the best of the chance that's been given to him. X-Division Title Match Montel Vontavious Porter vs. © D'Angelo DineroMVP came out to the ring, to a strong negative response from the crowd, and restated that his loss last night was nothing but a fluke. He said that there was no way D'Angelo Dinero could have legitimately beaten him that quickly without something going wrong. Before he could continue, the X-Division Champion made his way to the ring, and the match began. This time around there were no unintended mishaps from the challenger, as MVP and Dinero fought back and forth, trying to wear each other down enough to walk away with the championship belt. But, as luck would have it, MVP would be the only one to blame for his demise tonight, as he attempted a springboard bodyblock, but Dinero was quick enough to move aside, and MVP landed chest-first onto the concrete outside the ring! Unable to move, with the air knocked out of him, MVP laid motionless on the concrete until Dinero picked him up and rolled him into the ring. Dinero propped MVP in the corner, and adding insult to injury, connected with a vicious DDE before getting the 1-2-3. D'Angelo Dinero pinned Montel Vontavious Porter with the DDE in 0:11:14. Rating: *** ¼ (D'Angelo Dinero retained the X-Division Title.)– After the match, Dinero stood over MVP, holding the X-Division Title high in the air, when from the backstage area, RHINO ran down to the ring and attacked Dinero from behind! Rhino grabbed the title belt as Dinero got to his feet, and connected with a straight shot to Dinero's head, opening up a small gash on his forehead. Rhino, with the title still in hand, stood over both Dinero and MVP, holding the title into the air as the crowd booed. A preview for HWL's next pay-per-view, HOSTILE TAKEOVER, is shown. The event will take place, live from the Rexall Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on September 26th! Backstage, Peter Bradshaw tells Alisha Hicks that he has an announcement to make concerning next week's Anarchy. Bradshaw says that he was listening when The Hart Dynasty said they were waiting to see who would be “next in line” for their Tag Team Titles at Hostile Takeover, and says that they will get their answer next week, because there will be a Number One Contenders match to determine their opponents. Bradshaw thanks Alisha for the time, and walks off-camera, as the shot goes back to ringside. Non-Title Match © Desmond Wolfe vs. KaneDesmond Wolfe came out first, and was welcomed by a very warm response from the crowd. Twenty-four hours removed from ending his feud with AJ Styles, and winning back the Heavyweight Title, Wolfe found himself stepping into the ring with the man he originally defeated to win the title back in April. Kane, who had used Yoshi Tatsu as a warm-up, last night at Unbreakable, had said earlier in the evening that he would send a message to the Heavyweight Champion, and that's exactly what he came out and did. Wolfe threw everything he could at “The Big Red Monster”, but his body began to break down from the torture it had gone through last night, and Kane was able to connect with a back-breaking Choke Slam From Hell to pick up the victory. Kane pinned Desmond Wolfe with the Choke Slam From Hell in 0:04:29. Rating: ** ¾After the match, Kane stood over Wolfe, looking down at the champion, as fire erupted from the ring posts. Card Rating: ** ½

Monday Night Anarchy September 6, 2010 Target Center Minneapolis, Minnesota (Attendance: 10,920) A video clip begins the program, showing the post-match attack by Kane on Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels then welcome everyone to Minneapolis, and wish them a happy Labor Day. They announce that there are just 20 days left until Hostile Takeover, and that the road to the pay-per-view got a little bumpier for Desmond Wolfe last week. It is announced that, tonight, Kane will be in action against Montel Vontavious Porter in the main event. Angelina Love vs. Velvet SkyHWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw was not at all pleased by how last week's match between Velvet Sky and Sarita ended, and he was going to make sure that no interference took placed tonight. Bradshaw pitted both members of The Beautiful People against each other as punishment, but that's not how Angelina or Velvet saw it. Trying to find a way out of facing each other, both women left the ring and demanded to be counted out. Their plan was thwarted when the referee refused, saying that they must wrestler, per orders from Bradshaw. Reluctant and unhappy, both women re-entered the ring, and shocked the crowd by how much neither were willing to lose. Velvet connected with the Beauty Mark to pick up the victory. Velvet Sky pinned Angelina Love with the Beauty Mark in 0:08:19. Rating: ** ½Backstage, D'Angelo Dinero is seen getting his ring attire on, when he is approached by Rhino. Rhino says that he hates knowing that he will have to team up with Dinero tonight, and that it's the last thing he wants to do. Rhino says that tonight, whether they win or lose, will not keep him from taking the X-Division Title away from Dinero at Hostile Takeover. Dinero stands up, looking Rhino in the eyes, and says that he's not happy about the situation either, but there's nothing either of them can do about it. Dinero says that he's putting their personal hatred aside – for one night only – because he's going out there and doing the right thing. He agrees with Rhino, and says that after tonight they can focus on finishing what they never got the chance to. Dinero walks away, leaving Rhino alone in the locker room. Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Randy Orton. Orton says that he's fully aware of that the fact that Matt Morgan is wanting to make a statement, and that he wants to send a message to Kurt Angle, but that he has picked the wrong person to use as his example. Orton says that he's still banged up from the attack last week, but that he vows to even the score with Matt Morgan when the time is right. Orton is then interrupted as ALEX SHELLEY appears, and pats Orton on the back. Shelley says that, speaking of time, the time is right for them to finally prove how good of a tag team they can be, and earn a shot at the Tag Team Titles tonight. Shelley walks away as Orton shakes his head. Steve Corino vs. Cody RhodesCody Rhodes appeared to have received some motivation from his conversation with Ted DiBiase last week, as he came out with a fiercer side than the HWL fans had seen before. Rhodes took the fight – and let his aggression out – to Corino, seemingly sending a message to DiBiase and the rest of the HWL, even bloodying Corino by shoving him into the ring post. Corino, however, tried everything he could to get back into the match, but quickly fell victim to the Cross Rhodes, for the 1-2-3. Cody Rhodes pinned Steve Corino with the Cross Rhodes in 0:09:15. Rating: ** ½Commercial BreakBackstage, AJ STYLES is seen with Ric Flair, Mr. Anderson, and Chelsea. He tells them that he was shocked by what Desmond Wolfe had to say last week, about him not being able to win the Heavyweight Title by himself. He says that he won the title in 2009 by himself, and that he knew he could do it again. He tells the other three that, sooner or later, he'll get back into the Heavyweight Title picture. And when he does, he'll win back the belt all by himself! He storms away from the group as the three of them look at each other, not knowing what to say... Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with THE HART DYNASTY. David Hart Smith says that he thinks its funny how The Usos keep talking about their heritage in the wrestling business, and how they think it's going to make them successful, but its done nothing to help them since they arrived in the HWL. He says that unlike The Usos – who are living off their family's heritage – he, Tyson Kidd, and Natalya are out making a name for themselves. He says that every single person who pays attention to wrestling knows what the Hart heritage is, and they know that what the three of them have is something special. But, Smith says that they don't try to get by on it. They've made their own name in this business, and it's proven by the Tag Team Titles that he and Kidd own. Tyson Kidd then says that tradition only gets people so far in this business, and that the lack of success by The Usos only highlights how much important their family's tradition is. He then says that he and Smith will be watching very closely to who is named the number one contenders for Hostile Takeover. Because, whoever wins tonight, will have a long, hard road to take these belts away from them. Number One Contenders Match Randy Orton/Alex Shelley vs. © D'Angelo Dinero/RhinoBoth of these teams have had interesting pasts in the HWL, and tonight they both teamed up for the chance to challenge The Hart Dynasty for the Tag Team Titles at Hostile Takeover. Randy Orton and Alex Shelley were clearly the team that had the more pleasant experience in the past, and it showed tonight, as they made quick tags and seemed to work very well as a team. Although, their task was made a little easier by the sheer distaste that Rhino and the X-Division Champion have for each other. After last week's attack by “The War Machine”, Dinero didn't hide his disappointment with the match-up, but he did give a valiant effort to win the chance for his team. However, when Orton locked in a sleeperhold on Rhino, in the center of the ring, “The Pope” stood on the apron and watched as Rhino lost consciousness. Randy Orton & Alex Shelley defeated D'Angelo Dinero & Rhino after R. Orton made Rhino pass out in a sleeperhold in 0:05:53. Rating: ** ¼A preview for tomorrow's edition of “PCW Wrestling” highlights the 2-out-of-3 Falls Match between Justin Gabriel and Daniel Bryan for the PCW Heavyweight Title. Also, “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan challenges Jay Lethal for the Television Title! Commercial BreakComing back from the break, DESMOND WOLFE is seen speaking with Nikki Bella backstage, when MONTEL VONTAVIOUS PORTER attacks him from behind, knocking Wolfe to the ground! Nikki screams out as MVP assaults Wolfe on the ground before officials can pull him off the champion. Porter tells Wolfe that he shouldn't worry about anyone else but him, and that he's coming for the Heavyweight Title. Nikki Bella checks on Wolfe as the officials escort Porter away... Evan Bourne vs. Matt MorganEvan Bourne made another long-awaited appearance tonight, but found himself going up against Matt Morgan, who has been sending a message to the HWL roster over the past week. After handling Steve Corino easily at Unbreakable, last Monday night, Morgan left Randy Orton motionless in the center of the ring. And, tonight, he was looking to do the same against his much smaller opponent. The match was a great battle, as Evan Bourne continued to find ways to stay alive, even as Morgan used the ringside arena as a playground. But, eventually, Morgan's frustration got the best of him – again – and he missed with the Carbon Footprint. This allowed Bourne to hit a springboard dropkick, and Bourne quickly with to the top rope and hit a Shooting Star Press, for the shocking upset! Evan Bourne pinned Matt Morgan with the Shooting Star Press in 0:15:44. Rating: ** ½Backstage, a very hesitant Alisha Hicks tries to get a comment from KANE. Kane says that he has sat back and watched one person after another get shots at the Heavyweight Title, never getting a second match with Desmond Wolfe since the tournament finals a few months ago. He says that last night was just a sample of what's in store for anyone who wants to stand in his way of getting to the main event at Hostile Takeover. Kane says that tonight, Montel Vontavious Porter will feel the exact same pain that Desmond Wolfe felt... and it will bring him one step closer to the World Heavyweight Title. An advertisement for “Hostile Takeover” is shown. The event will take place September 26th, live from the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Commercial BreakMontel Vontavious Porter vs. KaneKane has been on a rampage since Unbreakable, and tonight he was coming off a huge non-title victory against Desmond Wolfe. Tonight, “The Big Red Monster” set his eyes on MVP, the new Number One Contender for the Heavyweight Title. This match got out of hand very quickly, as both men made their way outside the ring, and repeatedly did what they could to keep the match from being fought inside. At the end of the match, Kane bodyslammed Porter onto the concrete before rolling him inside the ring. However, Kane was not finished, as he cleared off the ringside announcing table and brought it into the ring! Not risking a disqualification, Kane picked up Porter and hit the Choke Slam From Hell for the 1-2-3. Kane pinned Montel Vontavious Porter with the Choke Slam From Hell in 0:08:16. Monday Night Anarchy September 13, 2010 MTS Centre Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada (Attendance: 6,757) “Anarchy” comes on the air, and a highlight package is shown from last week's episode. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome the at-home audience to Winnipeg. It is announced that, tonight, the new Number One Contenders for the Tag Team Titles, Randy Orton and Alex Shelley, will face off against the Tag Team Champions in a non-title match. And, also tonight, Kane will face the X-Division Champion, D'Angelo Dinero, in a non-title match. Flames shoot from the stage, and the lights in the arena go out, as KANE makes his way down to the ring. Daniels and Michaels go over the destruction that he has caused over the past two weeks, and speculate what is going on in Dinero's mind heading into tonight's main event. Kane enters the ring as the lights come back on, and gets on the mic. He says that, ever since Rebellion, back in April, he has seen a handful of people get their chances at Desmond Wolfe, only to come up empty-handed in the end. He says that AJ Styles even got three chances to win the belt, but ultimately couldn't do it. Kane says that he has sat back for too long, watching people attempt to do what he knows he would be able to: win the Heavyweight Title. He says that he knows its a shock to everyone in the back, because Kane hasn't been heard from much, but he says that he made his point felt two weeks ago, when he defeated Desmond Wolfe in the center of the ring. He says, last week, the point was made even clearer when he beat Montel Vontavious Porter, and sent the number one contender “straight to hell”. He says that, tonight, D'Angelo Dinero will be the one standing in his way of getting what Kane feels he deserves. Kane says that, after he is finished with Dinero tonight, there will be no denying who the rightful challenger to Desmond Wolfe should be at Hostile Takeover. Kane then drops the microphone, and leaves the ring, as the crowd boos him. Commercial BreakBackstage, Women's Champion SARITA (crowd cheers), is seen walking through the hallways. As she turns a corner, she is stopped by NATALYA (crowd boos). Natalya says she just wanted to remind Sarita that she's only holding the title for a short time, and that someday soon, Natalya will get “her” title back. Velvet Sky vs. DaffneyVelvet Sky has been on a role lately, but stepped into the ring tonight against her toughest opponent as of late. Velvet and Daffney have met many times since the rebirth of the HWL, and tonight, their rivalry continued all over the ringside area. A lot of action took place outside the ring, where Daffney used her surroundings to her advantage. However, it wasn't enough to put down one-half of The Beautiful People, as Velvet wound up hitting The Beauty Mark for the 1-2-3! Velvet Sky pinned Daffney with the Beauty Mark in 0:19:35. Rating: ** ½Backstage, the crowd cheers as DESMOND WOLFE is seen entering the MTS Centre. In the locker room, CODY RHODES is seen getting ready for his match, when TED DIBIASE walks in. DiBiase asks Rhodes about what he meant by his comments last week after their match on PCW Wrestling. Rhodes says that yes, he is committed to winning back the HWL Tag Team Titles, and that next week, they're going to get one step closer to winning the PCW Tag Team Titles. Before leaving the locker room, Rhodes gets into DiBiase's face and tells him, that after they win the PCW Tag Team Titles, DiBiase will never be able to question his commitment again. Commercial BreakCody Rhodes vs. RhinoBoth Cody Rhodes and Rhino came into this match with something to prove, but the only one who proved anything tonight was Rhodes, who proved that, when faced with a tougher opponent, will stop at anything to get out of a match. Rhodes got himself disqualified after pulling the referee into the path of Rhino's Gore, and fled the ring as “The Man Beast” got to his feet. Rhino defeated Cody Rhodes by disqualification in 0:02:30. **Rhino suffered a concussion, and will be out for one (1) week.** Rating: * ½Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with the HWL Tag Team Champions, THE HART DYNASTY and Natalya. David Hart Smith says that, last week, Randy Orton and Alex Shelley “earned” the right to face them for the Tag Team Titles at Hostile Takeover. But, Smith says, that he has already been able to see that Orton and Shelley don't stand a chance to win the belts, because Randy Orton's heart isn't in to winning tag team gold. Smith says that the only reason Orton is teaming up with Shelley is because he was trying to prove a point to Cody Rhodes and Legacy. He says that Orton did what he was supposed to do, and he got his redemption, but now he's been dragged into teaming up with Alex Shelley again... something the entire world knows he doesn't want to do. Tyson Kidd says that Alex Shelley was one-half of the longest reigning Tag Team Champions in HWL history, with Chris Sabin. But he asks where Sabin is now, saying that Sabin got tired of being held back by Shelley, and sooner or later, Randy Orton is going to realize that teaming with Shelley is just holding him back from his personal goal of winning titles on his own. Kidd says that tonight, Orton and Shelley will get a taste of what they can expect at Hostile Takeover, and that after tonight, Randy Orton may reconsider his decision to ever come to Alex Shelley's aide. A preview for “PCW Wrestling” is shown, announcing the PCW Heavyweight Title match between Ted DiBiase and Daniel Bryan. Also, former Heavyweight Champion, Justin Gabriel faces Jay Lethal for the PCW Television Title. Non-Title Match Randy Orton/Alex Shelley vs. © The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya)Orton and Shelley won the right to face the Tag Team Champions, for the belts, at Hostile Takeover on September 26th, but tonight was a preview of what will take place at the pay-per-view event, and things didn't go so well for the champs. Both teams fought hard, and gave the fans a taste of what will take place in 13 days, but thinking the time was right, Natalya interfered, tripping Randy Orton, However, the referee saw the interference and disqualified the champs, giving the #1 Contenders the victory. Randy Orton & Alex Shelley defeated The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) when R. Orton defeated D. H. Smith by disqualification in 0:11:11. Rating: * ¾ [Natalya interfered against Randy Orton.]Commercial BreakBackstage, Velvet Sky confronts Angelina Love in the dressing room. Velvet wants to know what Angelina was so upset about last week, and says that she was trying to do the right thing after their match. Angelina says she appreciated the offer, but that she isn't happy with the way things have gone as of late. Angelina says that, if anyone should be upset, it should be Velvet, because the only person she's been about to legitimately beat was her. Angelina says she knows that both of them are better than where they are right now, and that she still has goals of winning the HWL Women's Title. Angelina tells Velvet that its one thing to be beautiful – which they both are – but, it's another thing to be the best female wrestler in the Horizon Wrestling League, and she knows that either one of them are better then Sarita. She says that, instead of talking about it, they both need to go out and prove it. A preview for “Hostile Takeover” is shown. The event will take place from the Scoticabank Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, live on September 26th! Evan Bourne vs. AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)In what could easily be considered the match of the night, Evan Bourne and AJ Styles rekindled their “better than you” rivalry tonight, much to the crowd's liking. Bourne has found himself on a good luck streak as of late, while Styles is coming off a huge title loss at Unbreakable, and trying to prove that he can win matches without the help of outside interference from Flair or Chelsea. Tonight, though, would not be the night he proved his critics wrong as Bourne connected with the Shooting Star Press for the victory. Evan Bourne pinned AJ Styles with the Shooting Star Press in 0:20:55. Raitng: **** ¼Backstage, X-Division Champion D'Angelo Dinero is seen walking toward the stage, dressed in his ring attire, when he is confronted by Rhino. Rhino wants to know what Dinero was thinking, last week, when he walked off as Rhino laid in the ring unconscious. Dinero answers Rhino's question with one of his own, asking if Rhino really expected him to give a damn about his well-being after being attacked two weeks ago, or if it's just the concussion screwing with Rhino's brain. Dinero reiterated the point that, they weren't friends – and never would be – and, that they were only teaming up last week because they had no other choice. He says that Rhino should be more worried about what's going to happen at Hostile Takeover, than whether or not Dinero likes him. “The Pope” walks off, leaving Rhino glaring in his direction. Commercial BreakBackstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Heavyweight Champion Desmond Wolfe, who is intently watching a monitor. Alisha asks what's been going through Wolfe's mind since hearing about Kane's demand earlier in the show. Stoically looking at the monitor, Wolfe says that Kane has every right to make that demand. He says that Kane has gone out and done everything he said he was going to do. He says that, if Kane is able to defeat D'Angelo Dinero tonight, then there should be no reason why Kane doesn't get a Heavyweight Title match at Hostile Takeover. But, Wolfe says that no matter what Kane is able to do on the way to next Sunday; it only matters what he's able to do on the night of September 26th. Wolfe says that he and Kane have shared wins over the past few months, but when it mattered most, Kane wasn't able to get the job done. He then excuses himself, and gets ready to watch the main event. Non-Title Match © D'Angelo Dinero vs. KaneKane was intent on sending a message to Desmond Wolfe; that he was coming for the Heavyweight Title. The only real threat in “The Big Red Monster's” way was the X-Division Champion, who would loved to have a victory over Kane tonight. Dinero took everything Kane could dish out, taking a lot of punishment on his lower back during the match. Dinero tried to get ahead late, but after a towering backdrop – and an awkward landing – Dinero rolled out of the ring, holding his lower back, and was counted out. Laughing, Kane looked on as the referee counted to 10, and awarded the match the the Monster. Kane defeated D'Angelo Dinero by count-out in 0:09:50. Rating: ** ¼Card Rating: ** 3/4

Monday Night Anarchy September 20, 2010 Credit Union Centre Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada (Attendance: 14,410) Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Saskatoon, just six days away from Hostile Takeover. It is announced, that tonight, a huge tag team main event will take place, pitting "The War Machine" Rhino and "The Big Red Monster" Kane against X-Division Champion, D'Angelo Dinero and Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe. Gail Kim vs. NatalyaBoth women made their way to the ring tonight, getting good reactions from the crowd – Natalya's ovation was a little louder, coming from her native fans. Kim looked poised to pull an upset over the former Women's Champion, but after confronting Sarita last week, Natalya came into this match very focused on not faltering on her promise. The match went back and forth – and even spilled out to the ringside area for a moment – before Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter. However, Kim had the resolve to fight her way to the ropes, and break the submission. Annoyed, and eager to end the match, Natalya quickly locked the Sharpshooter on again, forcing Kim to tap out. Natalya made Gail Kim submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:15:28. Rating: **** ¾Backstage, Velvet Sky confronts Angelina Love, and says that she took what Love said last week to heart. Velvet said that, over the past couple weeks, she's been the one who has gone out to the ring and shown what she can do, and that she has enjoyed every second of it. Velvet said she never had the chance to hold a title before, on her own, and that even being “this close” is great. Velvet said that she wants to be the best wrestler in the HWL, and it's thanks to Angelina that she's taking things more seriously. But, Velvet wondered when Angelina was going to take her own advice. Velvet turned and walked off as Angelina looked off into the distance... X-Division Champion, D'Angelo Dinero, is seen entering the arena. The crowd gave him a nice response, and Josh Matthews and Scott Michaels hyped up the tag team main event for tonight. Steve Corino vs. Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya)The display of Canadian talent continued in this match, as both men were welcomed with a mixed reaction from the crowd. Corino, the newest member of the HWL roster, had to worry about Kidd – and Natalya outside of the ring. However, because of events that took place last week, Kidd appeared to be concerned about Natalya's actions as well. Natalya did get invovled in the match, distracting Corino as Kidd recovered on the outside, before sliding back into the ring. Kidd took advantage of the distraction and connected with a beautiful dropkick, but was unable to put Corino away. As the match continued, Kidd was seen getting more and more frustrated, and it eventually caught up to him as Corino hit the Sliding Lariat to pick up the 1-2-3! Steve Corino pinned Tyson Kidd with the Sliding Lariat in 0:11:40. Rating: *** ¾Commercial BreakHWL Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe, came out to the ring as Anarchy returned from commercials. Wolfe carried the Heavyweight Title with him, but after entering the ring, he laid the title over a turnbuckle, and said that he wanted to address “The Big Red Monster” Kane. Wolfe said that there was no denying the path of destruction he had created on his way to their match on Sunday night, but that the one person Kane wants to be afraid of him, isn't. Wolfe said that he's been in this position before, and that he'll remind Kane, that Wolfe beat him for the Heavyweight Title back in April. Wolfe said that he's already beaten Kane, and that already puts him at an advantage heading into Hostile Takeover. Wolfe said that there was a reason the Heavyweight Title found it's way back into his hands; because he doesn't back down from adversity; that he faces everything straight – just like the countless street fights he had to go through growing up in England. Wolfe said that Kane is no different then the bigger kids he fought growing up: they all thought they would have their way with Wolfe, but every one of them was proven wrong. The lights then went out in the arena, as Kane made his way down the ramp, and entered the ring. He stared down at Wolfe, with a sadistic smile on his face, before grabbing the microphone away from the Heavyweight Champion. Kane said that he can't be compared to anyone that Wolfe grew up fighting, because all they wanted to do was hurt Wolfe, whereas Kane wants to end his career. Kane asked Wolfe if he believed his own words, saying that if Wolfe wasn't scared of Kane, he wouldn't have attacked him from behind last week. He said that's no way to get the advantage, because it proves that he has already gotten into Wolfe's head. Kane said that Wolfe has no idea what he's in for, and that later tonight is only going to be a small taste of what happens at Hostile Takeover; that is, if Wolfe has the guts to step into the ring with “The Big Red Monster” before Sunday night. Kane then left the ring as Wolfe looked on; the crowd sending a mixed reaction. In the back, Alisha Hicks asked Rhino how he felt, a week after sustaining a concussion during his match with Cody Rhodes. Rhino said that his vision is still a little blurry, but it's nothing compared to what he'd gone through in the past. He said the trainers have told him that he should be ready to go by Sunday night – and that he won't miss out on taking the X-Division Title away from D'Angelo Dinero – but, he said that feels ready to go tonight, and he looks forward to getting his hands on Dinero before Hostile Takeover. As Rhino walked away from Alisha, he is stopped by HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw, who said that he had spoken directly to the trainers this morning, about Rhino's condition; and that they said that Sunday night would be the earliest he could step back into the ring. So, Bradshaw said that he would be looking out for the interest of the fans, and the interest of Rhino – who missed out on his last title shot due to injury – and replacing Rhino with Montel Vontavious Porter for tonight's main event. “The War Machine” glared at Bradshaw as the owner told Rhino that he'd thank him Sunday night. The Usos (w/Tamina) vs. The British InvasionBoth of these teams got less then expected reactions from the crowd tonight, as they haven't had much ring time in the last few weeks. The Usos came into this match, having gone winless since debuting last month; and The British Invasion were trying to pick themselves back up after coming up short in their quest to take the Tag Team Titles from The Hart Dynasty, at Unbreakable. The British Invasion came out, very aggressively, and looked like they were going to end the match quick; but, Jimmy and Jey used their speed to wear down their bigger opponents. Earlier in the match, Rob Terry had managed to bring a table into the ring, and that's where it sat for the entirety, as The British Invasion were unable to capitalize with the foreign object. Tamina got involved towards the end, holding Rob Terry's leg as Jimmy Uso connected with the Superfly Splash to pick up the surprise – and The Usos' first-ever – victory. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) defeated The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Rob Terry) when Jimmy pinned Magnus with the Superfly Splash in 0:16:45. Rating: ** ¼Highlights are shown from last week's episode of “PCW Wrestling”, showing Ted DiBiase defeating Daniel Bryan for the PCW Heavyweight Title. It is announced, again, that there will be a tournament held tomorrow night, to determine the new PCW Heavyweight Champion. Commercial BreakTed DiBiase was seen, walking around backstage, when he was confronted by Cody Rhodes. Rhodes wanted to know what DiBiase was thinking, claiming to be above the Tag Team Titles – and above the PCW Heavyweight Title – just weeks after getting onto Rhodes for not showing enough commitment. Rhodes said that, if nothing else, DiBiase was a hypocrite; and that there was no way they'd be teaming up from now on... because DiBiase proved that he couldn't be trusted. Rhodes turned to walk away, but was attacked from behind by DiBiase! DiBiase threw Rhodes into the cement wall, before landing repeated kicks into Rhodes's midsection. DiBiase then got into Rhodes's face, and told Cody that he was the weak link in Legacy. DiBiase said, that now, he doesn't have to worry about carrying Rhodes on his back. DiBiase got back to his feet and walked away as Rhodes held his chest in pain. Yoshi Tatsu vs. Alex ShelleyYoshi Tatsu was greeted by a mixed reaction from the crowd tonight, but it was clear who the crowd was behind when Alex Shelley made his way out to the ring. Just six days away from teaming up with Randy Orton – to take on the Hart Dynasty for the Tag Team Titles – Shelley found himself dealing with an opponent that has had his fair share of trouble impressing his tag team partner. Tonight, however, Shelley was the one making the good impression, as he picked up the victory, hitting the Sliced Bread #2. Alex Shelley pinned Yoshi Tatsu with the Sliced Bread #2 in 0:13:38. Rating: *** ¼Backstage, The Hart Dynasty is shown walking out of the arena, when David Hart Smith abruptly stopped, and said that he had something on his chest that he needed to get off before they walked out of the building. He turned to Natalya, and said that he had been questioning her choices over the past two weeks – including tonight – when it come to interfering in Smith's and Kidd's matches. Smith said that, last week, Natalya cost them a match against Randy Orton and Alex Shelley. But then tonight, when Tyson was on the verge of losing, she stood at ringside and did absolutely nothing. Smith said that he knew Natalya was focusing on getting the Women's Title back around her waist, but he warned her to look at the big picture, and to make sure nothing happens Sunday night at Hostile Takeover. Smith and Kidd then walked outside, leaving Natalya dumbfounded. A preview for Hostile Takeover is shown, announcing the matches that will take place during the event. The pay-per-view will take place in six days, live from the Rexall Place in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada! Montel Vontavious Porter/Kane vs. © D'Angelo Dinero/ © Desmond WolfeEarlier tonight, it was announced that Porter would be replacing the injured Rhino, but the crowd greeted him just the same as if it had been the number one contender for the X-Division Title. Kane came out to a tremendous roar of boos, and it was speculated as to how they would coexist as a team, after Kane defeated Porter to take away the number one contenders spot for the Heavyweight Title. They stood in the ring, saying nothing to each other as they awaited their opponents' arrival. “The Pope” came out first, to a decent ovation from the crowd, carrying the X-Division Title over his shoulder. His made his way down the ramp, and stood at ringside – staring at Porter – as he waited for his partner. The Heavyweight Champion was introduced next, and got a huge ovation from the crowd. But he didn't waste any time, as Wolfe and Dinero slid into the ring and the match began. The match itself was very evenly fought, considering Kane's size and strength advantage, but neither team was willing to get their opponents an inch of room to put the match in their favor. MVP and Kane surprisingly worked well as a team tonight, and carried the advantage for a better part of the match. But, Dinero and Wolfe fought their way back, hoping to even things up, and send them into Hostile Takeover with some momentum. That momentum never came to the champions, as MVP connected with the Playmaker on “The Pope” to pick up the victory! Montel Vontavious Porter & Kane defeated D'Angelo Dinero & Desmond Wolfe when MVP pinned Dinero with the Playmaker in 0:19:15. Rating: *** ½Card Rating: *** ¼

HWL Hostile Takeover PPV September 26, 2010 Rexall Place - Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (Attendance: 8,420) -- Fireworks explode inside the arena as the camera shows the fans cheering. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Rexall Place - home of the Edmonton Oilers - and tonight, the home of “Hostile Takeover”. They run down the matches that are taking place tonight, before announcing the first match - a Vixen’s Battle Royal - to determine the number one contender for the Women’s Title. Vixen’s Battle RoyalLots of action early on, as each and every Vixen went after the other, vying to put themselves in a position to walk out as the new Number One Contender. Around the 8:20 mark, Gail Kim sent Nikki Bella over the top rope with a clothesline, making Bella the first elimination of the evening. At the 14:25 mark, after taking a horrendous beating at the hands of Velvet Sky, Angelina Love, and Natalya, Daffney was able to eliminate Gail Kim, with a clothesline of her own, as the second elimination of the match. At the 15:19 mark, Velvet and Angelina were double-teaming Daffney, when “The Dark Princess” ducked a clothesline from Velvet, who ended up hitting Angelina - and eliminating her! Velvet pled with Angelina to forgive her, and was unaware that Daffney was behind her. Daffney scooped Velvet up and dropped her over the top rope for the fourth elimination of the night. Velvet stood at ringside, screaming, as the referee demanded that she leave the area. The match came down to Daffney - who had worked her ass off to stay in the match - and Natalya - who had been relatively quiet during the Battle Royal. Exhausted, Daffney had little left to fend off the stronger Vixen, and Natalya connected with a vicious clothesline to send Daffney over the top rope, winning a shot at the Women’s Title. Natalya won a 6-Vixen Battle Royal in 0:17:32. Rating: *** ½ -- Alisha Hicks is seen with “The War Machine” Rhino, backstage, and asked about his condition heading into tonight’s match. Rhino said that the doctors have assured him that he’s clear to wrestle, and that there was no way that Peter Bradshaw would keep him from winning back the X-Division title. He said that he had wrestled with worse injuries before joining the HWL, and that winning the title was more important than his own personal well-being. -- Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe, is seen entering the arena. The crowd pops as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss the second meeting between Wolfe and Kane, later tonight. A preview for the up-coming HWL pay-per-view, “Downfall” is shown. The event will take place on Halloween night, live from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia. X-Division Title Match Rhino vs. © D’Angelo DineroThe weapons came out very quickly as this match got underway, but they did “The War Machine” very little good, as he was still showing signs from the concussion he received two weeks go. Dinero took advantage of Rhino’s condition, slamming the challenger’s head into the guardrail before connecting with a flying elbow drop off the apron, for the quick 1-2-3! D’Angelo Dinero pinned Rhino after a flying elbow drop in 0:03:42. Rating: *** (D’Angelo Dinero retained the HWL X-Division Title.)-- Alisha Hicks is seen with Evan Bourne, backstage, and asks for his thoughts heading into his match against Matt Morgan. Bourne says Matt Morgan had stayed quiet over the past couple weeks - after the sneak attack on Anarchy - but, that he hadn’t forgotten the pain Morgan put him through after hitting the Hellevator on the stage. Bourne said that nothing Morgan did outside the ring would change the fact that he beat Morgan, in the middle of the ring, three weeks ago. He acknowledged that Morgan was bigger and stronger, but said that he would do anything he could to make sure he came out on top again. -- David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd are seen getting ready for their title defense, when Natalya walked into the dressing room. The crowd popped as the Tag Team Champions greeted the new number one contender for the Women’s Title. Smith and Kidd congratulated Natalya on her victory, and said that they could once again be the dominant force in the HWL, if Natalya wins the Women’s belt tomorrow night. But, they quickly warned Natalya that it was up to them to make sure they retained the Tag Team titles tonight, or it would be for nothing. They reminded Natalya not to interfere in the match, and said that if they won, there would be a huge celebration downtown. Evan Bourne vs. Matt MorganFor weeks, Matt Morgan had been pushing his weight around when it came to Evan Bourne. Three weeks after begin upset by Bourne on Anarchy, “The Blueprint” sent a message to the high-flyer, attacking him, and connecting with the Hellevator onto the steel stage! This match was soon signed afterward, and Morgan claimed that he would finished Bourne off, once and for all. Tonight, that claim seemed like it was going to come to fruition, but Bourne was able to fight back, and connect with a flying forearm, securing a quick cover, and picking up another upset victory! Evan Bourne pinned Matt Morgan after a flying forearm in 0:13:28. Rating: ** ¾A second preview for the up-coming pay-per-view, “Downfall”, is shown. The event will take place on Halloween night, live from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.-- Alex Shelley is seen getting ready, backstage, when Randy Orton entered the locker room. Orton said that he had been a little “hard to deal with” for the past couple weeks, but said it was only because he hadn’t been a part of a successful tag team in over a year. He said that, the last time he held the HWL Tag Team Titles, they were taken away from him… and, that he didn’t want to feel what he felt again. He said that Shelley was part of the longest reigning Tag Team Champions the company had seen, so Orton knew what he was capable of inside the ring, but that there was just something Orton was having a hard time getting over. Orton said that he was having a hard time trusting Shelley, even though he had done nothing to show Orton that he couldn’t be trusted. Shelley - fully dressed now - told Orton that there was nothing to be worried about, and that they had some title belts to win. Shelley left the locker room as Orton stared in his direction. -- In a deserted area of the arena, Kane stood in front of the camera with a sadistic smile on his face, and addressed Desmond Wolfe. Kane said that, over the past few weeks, he had seen the fear in Wolfe’s eyes; that he could fear the nervousness emitting from Wolfe’s soul. Kane said that he felt so much pleasure from watching Wolfe suffer at his hands, that winning the title tonight would mean nothing, if he didn’t leave Wolfe lying in a pool of his own blood. Kane said that tonight would be the night that he truly became the HWL’s biggest nightmare. He said that, after tonight, there wouldn’t be a person in the HWL that could take the Heavyweight Title away from him. He then laughed, manically, as the camera faded to black. HWL Tag Team Title Match Randy Orton/Alex Shelley vs. © The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya)The Hart Dynasty has been on quite a winning streak as of late, except for the loss to Orton and Shelley two weeks ago on Anarchy, but tonight they were set to correct that mistake - in their eyes - and walk away from Edmonton as the Tag Team Champions. The match got off to an interesting start as JIMMY and JEY USO made their way down to ringside, and spend a majority of the match watching from the bottom of the stage. Inside the ring, all four men battled it out, hoping to leave the ring as champions. Orton and Shelley nearly got assistance as Natalya got involved in the match, tripping Orton, but the referee only warned Natalya - which got a mixed reaction from the crowd. However, it appeared that The Usos were on the side of the challengers, as Jey Uso tossed the ring bell into the ring, but it was picked up by Tyson Kidd - behind the referee’s back - and The Hart Dynasty picked up the 1-2-3. The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated Randy Orton & Alex Shelley when T. Kidd pinned A. Shelley after hitting him with the ring bell in 0:16:45. Rating: *** ½ (The Hart Dynasty retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.)-- Alisha Hicks is seen, backstage, with Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe. She asked for a comment after Wolfe heard what Kane had to say just moments beforehand. Wolfe said that the only fear Kane sees, is the fear in his own eyes, when he looks at himself in the mirror. Wolfe said that Kane is the one that is nervous about tonight, claiming that all the attacks over the past few weeks were nothing but Kane trying to prove his dominance in the ring. Wolfe said that he isn’t afraid of anyone the HWL, and he’s certainly not afraid of someone he’s already beaten for the Heavyweight Title before. A final preview for the up-coming pay-per-view event, “Downfall”, is shown. The event will be take place Halloween night, live from the Acer Arena in Sydney, Australia.HWL Heavyweight Title Match © Desmond Wolfe vs. KaneThis was the match everyone had been waiting for, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! The feud between these two had heated up over the past few weeks, and tonight they laid it all on the line. Wolfe and Kane battled all over the ringside area, where at one point, Kane nearly got himself counted out after struggling to get the advantage over the Heavyweight Champion. But, Kane had his way with the Champion for most of the match. However, one various occasions, he was unable to put Wolfe away after the Choke Slam from Hell. Wolfe fought back, but Kane’s rage and anger over not being up to pin him became too much for “The Big Red Monster”, and Kane hoisted Wolfe up with a choke lift - in the center of the ring - and the referee disqualified him! Desmond Wolfe defeated Kane by disqualification in 0:23:06. Rating: ** ¾ (Desmond Wolfe retained the HWL Heavyweight Title.)Card Rating: ***
**HWL News Line** After tonight’s “Hostile Takeover” event, it was announced backstage, that HWL Vixen, Nikki Bella, would be leaving the company. The HWL wishes Bella the best in her future endeavors.

Monday Night Anarchy September 27, 2010 Scotiabank Saddledome – Calgary, Alberta, Canada (Attendance: 11,957) A slide show of still photos from “Hostile Takeover” are shown. Fireworks fill the arena as Josh Daniels and Scott Michalels welcome everyone to Calgary. It is announced, that tonight, Sarita will defend the Women's Title against Natalya – who won the right to challenge for the title, after winning a Battle Royal, last night. Alex Shelley and Randy Orton make their way out to the ring, as the crowd cheers them on. Inside the ring, Orton grabs a microphone and says that “last night was our chance to become the best team in the HWL.” But, he says, that chance was taken away by two people who have no business getting involved in the Tag Team Title picture. Orton says that he isn't going to waste any time, and calls out The Usos. The Usos make their way to the ring, and stand eye-to-eye with Shelley and Orton. Orton says he wants to know what was going through their minds when they came out to the ring last night. Jimmy Uso says that he and Jey have been sitting at the bottom of the Tag Team Division ever since they arrived in the HWL, and that last night, they decided that they had had enough, and wanted to take matters into their own hands. He says that, they want a chance to prove they are capable of winning the titles, and he issues a challenge to Shelley and Orton, for a #1 Contenders Match, later tonight... Before the challenge can be accepted, The British Invasion make their way to the ring, and stand to the side of both teams already in the ring. Brutus Magnus grabs a microphone and says that if there's one team that deserves a title shot, its them. Magnus says that the Usos haven't proven anything to anyone since joining the HWL, and he and Rob Terry beat them the last time they were in the ring together. And, he said, that Shelley and Orton lost their match last night; automatically taking them out of the picture. This brings out HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw, who stands on the stage and says that he – and the crowd – are sick and tired of hearing the six of them complain about who should be #1 Contenders. Bradshaw says, if they want to prove who deserves a shot, then they'll have to do it in the ring... tonight! Bradshaw then says that there will be a Triple Threat Match to determine who will face The Hart Dynasty at Downfall. The crowd goes crazy as Bradshaw leaves the ring, leaving all six men staring at each other. Commercial BreakHWL Women's Title Match Natalya vs. © SaritaThe crowd was definitely behind their hometown favorite tonight, as Natalya had a chance to regain the Women's Championship. After winning a Battle Royal, last night at “Hostile Takeover”, Natalya wasn't going to let her chance go to waste. Natalya came out of strong tonight, locking in both an airplane spin and the Sharpshooter, wearing down the Champion. Sarita fought back, but after taking the brunt of those two submission moves early in the match, it wasn't enough to make an impact. Natalya put away Sarita with a release German suplex for the 1-2-3, to win the Women's Title. Natalya defeated Sarita after a release German suplex in 0:07:32. Rating: *** ½ (Natalya won the HWL Women's Title.)After the match, Natalya is handed the Women's Title as the crowd celebrates with her. David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd join Natalya in the ring, as all three of them celebrate before heading to the backstage area. Commercial BreakBackstage, Velvet Sky is seen walking through the hallway, when she is approached by Angelina Love. Love says that last night didn't go exactly as planned, as they had both been talking about getting their shot at the Women's Title. Velvet agrees, and says that they'll get their chances sooner or later. Angelina cuts of Velvet and says that Velvet cost her a chance at the Women's title last night, when Velvet clotheslined her out of the ring during the Battle Royal. Velvet apologies, saying that it was nothing but an accident, and that she didn't mean to do it. But, Angelina says that Velvet is starting to show her true colors, and that they will have to see who gets to challenge for the title first. Angelina then pushes by Velvet and walks away as Velvet looks on in shock. Ted DiBiase vs. Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya)Another hometown favorite was in action tonight, as Tyson Kidd stepped into the ring with Ted DiBiase. These two have had a lot of history as of late, after battling for the Tag Team Titles, and they started where they left off tonight. Kidd came down to the ring with newly crowned Women's Champion, Natalya, who made her presence known early in the match, tripping DiBiase, to give Kidd the advantage. However, after being admonished by the referee, Natalya stayed quiet for the rest of the match. Inside the ring, DiBiase and Kidd appeared to be very evenly matched as neither one of them could contain the advantage for long stretches. However, DiBiase was able to connect with a thunderous clothesline, that stunned Kidd long enough for DiBiase to pick up the 1-2-3. Ted DiBiase defeated Tyson Kidd via pinfall in 0:19:08. Rating: ***DiBiase left the ring and celebrated his victory as he made his way up the ramp. Kidd slowly rolled out of the ring, and was helped to the back by Natalya as the crowd applauded his efforts. Commercial BreakHWL Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe, comes out to the ring, with the title draped over his shoulder. He says that last night was a good night in terms of walking away with the Heavyweight Title still in his possession, but he says that the night didn't end the way he wanted it to. Wolfe says that he would've expected more from Kane last night, especially knowing that the Heavyweight Title was on the line. Wolfe says that Kane was so determined to make him feel pain, that during the match, he lost all concept of what he was really fighting for. Wolfe says that yes, Kane did leave him lying on the canvas at “Hostile Takeover”, but Wolfe is the one standing in the center of the ring with the title tonight. The lights in the arena suddenly go out, as fire shoots from the stage, and Kane makes his way out to the ring. Kaneand Wolfe have a stare-down in the center of the ring; the anticipation brewing in the crowd. Wolfe says that there's nothing Kane can do – or say – that will change the fact that he screwed himself out of the Heavyweight Title last night. Kane stood quietly, in the center of the ring, as Wolfe continued to give Kane reasons as to why he wouldn't win the Heavyweight Title. Wolfe says that the first time, he just couldn't get the job done, before Wolfe was better prepared – having faced better competition during the inaugural tournament. And, last night, Wolfe says that Kane noticed he couldn't put the champion away, and it started eating at “The Big Red Monster”. Wolfe says that Kane's only problem is that he wants to maim people, and doesn't really care about the Heavyweight Title. And, because of that, Wolfe says, that Kane will always be “second” in the Horizon Wrestling League. Wolfe then turns around, and is met with Kane's hand around his throat! Kane lifts Wolfe into the air, but Montel Vontavious Porter's music begins playing, causing Kane to drop Wolfe to the canvas. MVP makes his way to the ring, and gets into Kane's face, as the two of them begin to share words. Wolfe rolls outs of the ring, clutching his throat as MVP grabs a microphone. He says that Kane stole away MVP's right to challenge for the Heavyweight Title... and then threw it away because he couldn't get the job done. MVP says that he's seen Kane do a lot of things over the years, but the one thing he's never been good at is making good on championship promises. MVP says that its his time to fight for the Heavyweight Title, and if he has to go through Kane to get it, then he'll end his career if he has to! For the second time in the evening, HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw appeared on-stage. He says that he's in a giving mood tonight, and says that if Kane and MVP feel they both deserve title shots against Desmond Wolfe, then they will have to prove it... later tonight, in a #1 Contenders Match! Bradshaw walks off-stage, as MVP and Kane stare at each other, while outside the ring, Desmond Wolfe composes himself. Commercial Break#1 Contenders Match The Usos (w/Tamina) vs. The British Invasion vs. Randy Orton/Alex ShelleyAll three of these teams put their bodies on the line in this match; all for the chance to face The Hart Dynasty for the Tag Team Titles at “Downfall” next month. Orton and Shelley came in as the clear-cut favorites to win the match, but that just put added pressure on them to come out victorious. However, that was not the case as Randy Orton was blindsided by a vicious chairshot by Tamina on the outside of the ring! The Usos took quick advantage of Orton's state, as Jey Uso connected with the Superfly Splash to pick up the first elimination. Then, it came down to the two teams that have begun to know each other very well over the past few weeks, and the battle between them was very intense. But, with the multiple times the referee had been knocked to the canvas during this match, there was very little room for error for either team. But, that thought escaped Jimmy Uso's mind, as he threw the referee outside of the ring after what he thought was a slow count. After pulling himself to his feet, the referee called for the bell, and gave the Tag Team Title shot to The British Invasion! The British Invasion (Brutus Magnus & Rob Terry) defeated The Usos (Jimmy & Jey) and Randy Orton & Alex Shelley: x Jey beat R. Orton via the Superfly Splash in 0:30:55. x R. Terry beat Jimmy via disqualification in 0:35:08. Rating: ** ½After the match, Rob Terry and Jimmy Uso continued to brawl inside the ring. Jey Uso and Brutus Magnus entered the ring, and joined the fight, as the referee tried to break it up. HWL officials rushed down to the ring and separated the four men as the crowd continued cheering. Commercial BreakA preview for tomorrow night's “Tuesday Night Rampage” is shown, announcing the second round of the Heavyweight Title tournament. Also, the Fatal Four Way match to crown the new PCW Tag Team Champions. Steve Corino vs. Matt MorganTonight was Matt Morgan's chance at redemption, after coming up short against Evan Bourne last night at “Hostile Takeover”. He stepped into the ring with a similarly sized opponent in Steve Corino, but the Manitoba native proved to be a little bit more than Morgan could handle. Corino showed a darker side of himself tonight, opening up a gash above Morgan's eye, after slamming “the Blueprint” into the steel ring steps. Dazed and confused, Morgan fell victim to Corino's Sliding Lariat for the 1-2-3. Steve Corino pinned Matt Morgan with the Sliding Lariat in 0:08:39. Rating: *** After the match, Steve Corino quickly left the ring, celebrating his victory as the crowd met him with a mixed reaction. Inside the ring, Morgan slowly got to his feet and stared at the stage as Corino walked backstage. Commercial Break#1 Contenders Match Montel Vontavious Porter vs. KaneDuring a night of opportunities in the HWL, “The Big Red Monster” Kane and MVP battled it out to see who would move on to “Downfall” to face Desmond Wolfe for the Heavyweight Title. MVP came out swinging, giving everything he could to his larger opponent, and nearly put Kane down on multiple occasions. However, Kane's power and strength were too much for Porter, as Kane connected with the Choke Slam From Hell to secure a victory, and another shot at Desmond Wolfe on October 31st! Kane defeated Montel Vontavious Porter with the Choke Slam From Hell in 0:14:20. Rating: ***After the match, Kane stood over MVP, in the center of the ring, as flames burst from the ring posts. As the smoke cleared, and the lights came back on, Kane locked eyes with Desmond Wolfe, who was standing on the stage, applauding Kane's victory. The show went off the air as Kane and Wolfe stared at each other from across the arena. Monday Night Anarchy October 4, 2010 Spokane Arena – Spokane, Washington (Attendance: 5,324) Video footage from last week is shown, highlighting the victories of The British Invasion and Kane, to become number one contenders for the Tag Team and Heavyweight Titles, respectively. Fireworks explode inside the arena, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Monday Night Anarchy, back in the United States, just 27 days away from “Downfall”. They announce, that tonight, The Usos will take on The Hart Dynasty in a non-title match; and that Desmond Wolfe will be in action, taking on Montel Vontavious Porter in tonight's main event. WOLFE CONGRATULATES KANE Heavyweight Champion, Desmond Wolfe, came out to the ring and grabbed a microphone. Wolfe said that he wasn't out to keep talking about his history with Kane, or that that in their previous two meetings Wolfe had gone two-and-oh. Wolfe said that he wanted to call Kane out to the ring to show that he was the bigger man. Once Kane came out to the ring, Wolfe reminded everyone in Spokane of what Kane was able to do inside a wrestling ring. Wolfe said that, on multiple occasions, he had been sent through tables, and felt the Choke Slam From Hell. But, Wolfe said that Kane always seemed to come up short when it really mattered. Turning to look at Kane, Wolfe told Kane that he had one more shot at the Heavyweight Title – at “Downfall” - and to make sure he didn't screw it up. Wolfe turned to leave the ring, as Kane stared in his direction. Commercial BreakDaffney vs. Velvet SkyThe action started off tonight with a match between two “Vixens” that have grown to know one another very well inside the ring. Velvet Sky was looking to further herself up the championship contendership ladder, proving that she is the better of the The Beautiful People, where as Daffney was trying to not only stop Velvet's progress, but to start her own trail to the Women's Title. But, on this night, Velvet's Beauty Mark was too much for the “Dark Princess”, as Sky picked up the 1-2-3. Jey Uso asked if either of them saw the look on Randy Orton's face after they were eliminated from the Triple Threat Match last night. The three laughed again, under Orton appeared behind them. Orton asked if they really thought it was funny, because The Usos weren't getting a tag team title match at “Downfall” either. Orton said that, since neither team were getting a tag team title match, there shouldn't be any reason why they Orton and Alex Shelley don't smack the smiles of The Uso's faces at “Downfall”. Jimmy and Jey agreed, before attacking Orton, and leaving him on the ground, riving in pain. Steve Corino vs. CM PunkSteve Corino came into this match, looking to further his winning ways, after picking up a huge victory over Matt Morgan last week. He stepped into the ring with Punk, who hadn't seen much ring time in the past month, and it showed. Punk had trouble staging any sort of offense, and Corino took advantage of Punk's mistakes at every turn. At the end of the match, Punk had Corino reeling outside the ring, and attempted a baseball slide that Corino was able to move out of the way of. Punk hit the concrete hard, and Corino rolled under the bottom rope as the referee finished the 10-count. After the match, Steve Corino stared down at Punk – on the outside of the ring – as “Anarchy” went to commercials. Steve Corino defeated CM Punk by countout in 0:07:04. The crowd booed as Anderson grabbed a microphone and looked to his friends for support. After some encouragement, Anderson said that he had spent a lot of time in the back, away from the ring, thinking about the way his career had gone over the past few months. Anderson said that he hadn't accomplished things that he thought he could, and that now things were going to be different. Anderson said that he had been getting some guidance from the former Heavyweight Champions he calls “friends”, and that they both told him that he needed to take things he wanted, instead of waiting for the opportunity to come to him. Anderson said that was exactly why he was in the ring, and said that it was time to prove himself worthy again of holding a title in the HWL. Anderson called out X-Division Champion, D'Angelo Dinero before challenging him to a match at “Downfall”. Dinero came down to the ring, and told Anderson that he's crazy; that he wasn't more special than the others who had to work for their shots at his title. Dinero said the only way he'd take Anderson's challenge seriously, is if Anderson could prove himself worthy in the ring. Dinero left the ring as Ric Flair and AJ Styles surrounded Anderson, and “Anarchy” went to commercials. Commercial BreakNon-Title Match The Usos (w/Tamina) vs. © The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya)A week after coming so close to challenging for the Tag Team Titles at Downfall, The Usos got their chance to go two-on-two with the Tag Team Champions tonight. The match got off to an interesting start, when both Tamina and Natalya jumped onto the apron in support of their respective teams. Once they were cleared away from ringside, The Usos showed that, after learning the ropes in the HWL, they were quite qualified to hang with the champs. But, The Hart Dynasty have held the titles for a while now, and they showed that their tenacity can get them through nearly anything, as they fought back to hit the Springboard Hart Attack to pick up the victory. The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso) when T. Kidd pinned Jey after the springboard Hart Attack in 0:17:34. Yoshi Tatsu vs. Mr. AndersonThese two names wouldn't have come up in the same conversation, when talking about athletes wanting to prove themselves, but that's exactly the position Tatsu and Anderson have found themselves in over the past few weeks. Yoshi has been struggling with his aggression inside the ring, and wanting to no longer depend on Kaz's assistance. And, tonight, Mr. Anderson made his first apperance on Anarchy in nearly a month, wanting to prove himself a worthy contender for the X-Division Title. Tonight, though, Anderson got help from Yoshi, who finally let all the pressure get to him, as he attacked the referee, getting himself disqualified, and awarding the match to Anderson. After the match, Anderson caught Yoshi by surprise, and connected with the Mic Check before leaving the ring. Mr. Anderson defeated Yoshi Tatsu by disqualification in 0:12:28. These two know each other very well inside the ring, and they showed it tonight, with back-and-forth action and numerous counters; neither of them allowed their opponent to connect with their respective finishers! Wolfe picked up the victory after hitting Porter with an errant elbow, right in the temple, that stunned Porter long enough for the Champ to pick up the win. After the match, the lights in the arena went out, and when they returned, Kane stood over Wolfe's prone body in the center of the ring! Desmond Wolfe defeated Montel Vontavious Porter via pinfall in 0:11:58.
