The fans were introduced to two new members of the PCW Roster tonight, and were shocked to see the return of one-half of the HWL Tag Team Champions, Tyson Kidd, who is still recovery from a neck injury he suffered on Anarchy. Keeping up with their usual antics, Natalya interfered against El Generico, disqualifying Kidd early on, allowing the PCW fans to get a better look at the newcomers. After Kidd's departure, this match became a lucha-fest., hinting that both men will have a big future in the PCW - and hopefully - the main roster. Generico picked up the victory after reversing Primo's power bomb attempt into one of his own!
[Triple Threat Match for PCW Television Title]: Lance Bravado defeated Randy Orton and The Great Khali: x Lance beat R. [Rajah Singh interfered against Lance Bravado and Randy Orton.]
Lots of great action in this match, including a very intense series of events that saw Khali grab the Television Title and take a show at Orton, which "The Viper" ducked. Orton grabbed the belt in return, but was hit in the back with a steel chair by Singh! Khali then connected with a huge power bomb before going for the pin, but Orton was able to get his foot on the ropes. Khali then connected with the Punjabi Plunge and went for the cover, which Lance Bravado broke up! As Bravado and Khali brawled, Orton attempted an RKO on Bravado, only to have it reversed into a backslide for the 1-2-3! Lance then battled with Khali a little longer, only to have Rajah Singh interfere against him, too. Lance brawled through, and eventually ducked a Punjabi Plunge attempt, and rolled up Khali for the shocking title victory!
[PCW Tag Team Title Match]: Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli defeated Hulk Hogan & Kofi Kingston when Lethal defeated Kofi by countout in 0:01:09. Rating: * 3/4 (Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli retained the PCW Tag Team Titles.)

Daniel Bryan pinned Justin Gabriel after a clothesline in 0:08:56. Rating: *** 3/4
The rivalry between these two continued tonight, with another hard-fought match. But Bryan picked up the victory after putting his feet on the ropes for leverage.

PCW Newsline:
El Generico's time in the PCW was short-lived, as the Indy star has decided to part ways with the company. According to both GM Rex Butler and PCW/HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw, El Generico has two options: sign with the HWL or be free to find work elsewhere.
Concerning the result of tonight's main event, where "Cowboy" James Storm rolled under the bottom rope and walked away from the ring, thus getting himself counted out to retain the title, GM Rex Butler has announced that next week there will be a rematch. Butler, with the permission by Peter Bradshaw, has signed this match to be a Falls-Count-Anywhere Match!

PCW Newsline:
In a HUGE pick-up over the weekend, the PCW signed former 10-time WWE Champion, JOHN CENA. Cena, who grew unhappy with the direction of his character, shockingly dropped the WWE Title over the weekend to sign with PCW/HWL. General Manager Rex Butler is said to be very excited about the signing, but said that Cena will have to earn his way through the ranks of this company, just like everyone else.
And, after the show, GM Butler was said to be very upset at Cena for no-showing his debut. No word on Cena's possible punishment has been released at this time...
Also tonight, Claudio Castagnoli defeated Justin Gabriel to pick up his third Television Title.

Heh. Gotta love that. Cena signs - and doesn't show up. Anyway, good "secondary" circuit action as usual, and with as well as Max Buck has done, he might have earned a promotion to the HWL after he's done here.

Tyson Kidd pinned Robert Roode with the Springboard Elbow drop in 0:20:00. Robert Roode injured his right knee, and will be out approximately five (5) cards. Rating: ** 3/4Tyson Kidd can consider himself very lucky tonight, as the referee allowed the match to continue for just a second longer, counting the 1-2-3 after Kidd hit the Springboard Elbowdrop for the victory. Unfortunately, while coming down after being hit, Robert Roode’s knee twisted violently to the side, and he was helped to the back by medical officials after the match. Kofi Kingston pinned Hulk Hogan with the Trouble in Paradise in 0:13:13. Rating: **Kofi Kingston looked very impressive in this match of two tag team partners, taking total control over Hogan throughout the match. “The Hulkster” got in a few bits of offense, but they were no use for the youth and speed of Kingston. Kingston hit the Trouble in Paradise for the 1-2-3. Alberto Del Rio pinned Daniel Bryan after a Frankensteiner in 0:05:48. Rating: *** ½Del Rio picks up a very quick victory tonight, hitting a Frankensteiner out of nowhere to stun Bryan - and the crowd - picking up the 1-2-3 along the way. [Tag Team Title Match]: Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when Lethal pinned Harlem after a figure-four leglock in 0:04:02. Rating: ** ½ (Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli retained the PCW Tag Team Titles.)The Bravado Brothers tried to end their losing ways by joining forces tonight, to take on one of the longest-tenured championship teams in the history of the PCW. Tonight, Lethal and Castagnoli continued their winning ways as Lethal just got his shoulder up before the referee counted the three. A shocked Lance Bravado watched, helplessly, from the apron as Lethal and Castagnoli celebrated their victory in the center of the ring after the match. Primo defeated The Great Khali by disqualification in 0:13:15. Rating: -* ¾In a match that looked completely lopsided on paper, Primo came out tonight and showed a resilience that didn’t seem possible. He took everything “The Punjabi Giant” gave him, and gave it right back to Khali. Primo fell victim to the Punjabi Plunge, for was lucky enough to get his foot on the rope to stop the three-count. Seeing that Primo was a tougher opponent then expected, Rajin Singh interfered, tripping Primo, and getting Khali disqualified. After the match, Khali grabbed Primo from behind and caught him in a claw hold. Primo begged to be let go as the referee tried to pry Khali off him. Singh entered the ring and told Khali to let go before they both left the ring. [PCW Television Title Match]: Max Buck and Randy Orton battled to a double countout in 0:03:06. Randy Orton suffered a back injury, and will be out approximately three (3) cards. Rating: ** ¾ (Max Buck retained the PCW Television Title.)This match ended before it really ever got started, as the anticipation began to build as both men took the fight outside the ring. As they brawled at ringside, Orton threw Buck into the ring post and started to stalk him, aiming for the RKO. As Orton went for it, Buck pushed him off, and Orton crashed down onto the concrete floor, screaming out in pain and holding his back. Buck went on the offensive, kicking Orton, oblivious to the referee’s ten-count. As the bell sounded, with both men outside the ring, Buck threw up his hands in disbelief, but raised the title into the air in celebration, as the referee and medical officials tended to “The Viper”. [PCW Heavyweight Title Match]: Justin Gabriel pinned James Storm with the 450 Splash in 0:13:34. Rating: *** ¾ (Justin Gabriel retained the PCW Heavyweight Title.)This was a back-and-forth match from the get go, as both men jockeyed for position to control the match, and hopefully become - or retain - the Heavyweight Title. Storm used a lot of fast-paced and high flying moves to wear down Gabriel, but the champion just wouldn’t be put away. Running out of options, Storm resorted to spitting beer in Gabriel’s eyes! But, Gabriel was able to fight back, and hit the 450 Splash for the 1-2-3. Card rating: ** 1/4

PCW Wrestling July 19, 2011 Tim's Toyota Center - Prescott Valley, Arizona Attendance: 3,421 (65%) - The show started off with Robert Roode making his way down to the ring, with the help of crutches. Roode tells the fans that he had tweaked his knee during his match with Tyson Kidd last week, which got a mixed reaction from the crowd. Roode says that Kidd got lucky last week, because had Roode not injured his knee, he would've kicked out, and the match would've been a draw - or a loss for Kidd. He says that, when his knee heals, the first thing he wants to do is face Tyson Kidd, one-on-one, in the center of the ring. Roode promises that, next time, the outcome would be different. Tyson Kidd pinned Hulk Hogan with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:17:24. Rating: * 1/2Tyson Kidd picks up a very impressive victory against "The Hulkster" tonight. After the match, Robert Roode, who had been sitting at ringside, attacked Kidd, hitting him in the back with one of Roode's crutches! The attack sent Kidd to the concrete outside the ring, lying next to the bent plastic crutch. Roode hobbled his way up the aisle as the crowd roared with disapproval. The Great Khali and Daniel Bryan battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: * 1/4 [Ranjin Singh interfered against Daniel Bryan.]Daniel Bryan stepped into the ring with the much larger Khali tonight, but was able to hold his own against the Punjabi Giant. Khali's inability to put Bryan away caused Ranjin Singh to enter the ring with a steel chair and attempt to use it against Bryan. However, Bryan was able to move, and Singh hit Khali! Bryan threw Singh over the top rope as the match continued. Neither men could put the other away, and the match was called a draw. After the bell rang, both men continued to fight inside the ring, until Singh re-entered and hit a low blow on Bryan. Rating: *** 1/4 [Ricardo Rodriquez interfered against Kofi Kingston.]Good, solid match for both men, that the crowd was very into. Singh said that Bryan may not have lost the match, but he also didn't leave the ring unscaved. Singh said that, all week long, Khali had been wanting a rematch with Bryan, to finish what he started last week. Singh announced that Commissioner Rex Butler agreed to let the match happen; and it will take place next week in Glen Falls, New York.
The Great Khali defeated Harlem Bravado by countout in 0:02:24. Rating: -* 1/4
Khali picks up a very quick and easy victory as he sent Harlem Bravado crashing down to the concrete floor, and stood by as the referee counted to ten. After the match, DANIEL BRYAN appeared from the crowd, and hit Rajin Singh with a steel chair, leaving him unconscious on the concrete. Bryan then entered the ring and began brawling with Khali, dodging the big man's attempts to grab him. Bryan ran into the ropes and took Khali's leg out with a chop block, before bringing in another chair, and cracking Khali in the back with it. PCW officials rush down to the ring, and escort Bryan to the back as the crowd boos.
---
Interview: Daniel Bryan, still visibly angry after his attack on Rajin Singh and The Great Khali, came out to the ring before his match and said that The Great Khali got a taste of what will happen to him next week. Max Buck pinned Byron Saxton with the Worst Case Scenario in 0:13:02. Rating: ** 1/4
Max Buck got a lot more than he had bargained from Byron Saxton - making his second appearance for the PCW - tonight. But, the former two-time Television Champion was able to put the rookie away with the Worst Case Scenario to pick up the victory.
The Great Khali and Daniel Bryan battled to a double countout in 0:08:00. Rating: * 1/4
Before the match, Daniel Bryan came out to the ring, and said that he had had enough of The Great Khali and Rajin Singh over the past few weeks. Bryan said that he should've finished them both off when he had the chance, last week, but that the only way to feel absolution would be to make Khali tap out tonight.
When Khali came down to the ring, and the match started, Bryan's plan quickly turned into that of trying to find seclusion. Khali came out like gang busters tonight, taking everything that Bryan could throw at him, but giving it back twice as hard. After only moving Khali a few feet with a missle dropkick, Bryan rolled out of the ring frustrated that nothing was working. Byran turned his attentions to Rajin Singh, who ran off to escape harm, leaving Bryan with no other option but to re-enter the ring. As he did, Khali grabbed him up and attempted to hit the Punjabi Plunge. But, somewhere, Bryan was able to wiggle is way out of the move, and escape to the ringside area once again. Bryan waved off Khali and started walking to the back, feeling content with getting counted out. But, Khali wouldn't let him, as he left the ring and attacked Bryan from behind. Both men brawled in the aisleway as the referee counted to 10, counting out both men!
The brawl continued after the bell rang, and PCW officials ran in to seperate the two men. As both men were held apart, Commissioner Rex Butler came out to address the crowd. Butler said that, since it seemed like neither Byran nor Khali wanted to decide a winner, Butler would decide one for them. He then announced that, next week, in Springfield, Massachusetts, Daniel Bryan and The Great Khali will face off in a STEEL CAGE MATCH.
[PCW Tag Team Title Match]: Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli defeated The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when Castagnoli pinned Harlem after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:07:13. Rating: ** 1/2 (Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli retained the PCW Tag Team Titles.)
Neither of the Bravado brothers have had much success during their time in the PCW, outside of a Television Championship reign by Lance. They have tried reaching the top of the Tag Team mountain together - and seperately, with different partners - but each time, they were thwarted by the team of Lethal and Castagnoli. Tonight, they teamed up once again, hoping to change their luck, and end Lethal and Castagnoli's reign at the top. Once again, however, they came up short as Harlem fell victim to a rolling reverse cradle for the three-count. The fans in Glen Falls applauded the champions after the match, as they have nearly doubled the longest reign as PCW Tag Team Champions. The way things are looking, this reign will not end soon.
[PCW Television Title Match]: Tyson Kidd defeated James Storm by disqualification in 0:12:39. Rating: *** (James Storm retained the PCW Television Title.) [Robert Roode interfered against Tyson Kidd.] [Justin Gabriel interfered against James Storm.]
Things have really been heating up between Tyson Kidd and Beer Money over the past few weeks. Last week, things got pushed further as James Storm attacked Kidd on behalf of his tag team partner, Robert Roode. Kidd retaliated, later in the show, before challenging Storm to a match tonight, for the Television Title. It appeared things were going to be settled tonight, once and for all, but Beer Money had other plans. A still-hobbled Roode made his way to ringside, distracting Kidd enough for Storm to take advantage of the match. But, as the former Tag Team Champions began double-teaming Kidd outside the ring, JUSTIN GABRIEL came down to even things up! Gabriel knocked Roode to the ground as Kidd and Storm found their way back into the ring. Storm hit the Last Call, but Kidd got his foot on the ropes. Outside the ring, Roode slowly made it back to his feet, just as Storm whipped Kidd into the ropes, and Roode tripped Kidd directly in front of the referee. The bell rang, and Kidd was announced the winner as Storm continued to assault the youngster from Calgary. Gabriel quickly entered the ring, and he and Storm began brawling, much to the crowd's enjoyment.
For the second time tonight, Commissioner Rex Butler came out to address the situation. Mr. Butler said that he can't do anything to Robert Roode, yet; but says that his match with Tyson Kidd for August 23 has been signed. However, Butler says that he has signed a NON-TITLE MATCH between Justin Gabriel and James Storm, for next week in Springfield, and that Tyson Kidd will be the special referee! The fans went crazy as Gabriel and Storm stared across the ring from each other, and Kidd slowly got to his feet on the outside.
[PCW Heavyweight Title Match]: Justin Gabriel pinned Primo after a hurrancarana in 0:06:05. Rating: *** 1/4 (Justin Gabriel retained the PCW Heavyweight Title.)
Gabriel had stayed int the ring as Beer Money and Tyson Kidd, with out from the referee, made their way backstage; and awaited the arrival of his challenger this week. Primo found himself in a huge spot tonight, challenging for the Heavyweight Title; and it seemed as if the pressure got to him early on. He missed a lot of his aerial move attempts, and quickly fell victim to a hurrancarana. Gabriel made the quick cover for the another successful title defense.

- I know a lot of people don't like change on here, so for those of you that are reading this, I apologize. But, I've decided to turn PCW into a one-hour show (like Heat, Velocity, etc.), but still use it as a "development" circuit for HWL. -
PCW Wrestling August 9, 2011 MassMutual Center Springfield, Massachusetts Attendance: 868 (13%)
Introduction: Leo Lewis and Rodney Johnson welcome everyone to Springfield, for the first episode of PCW Wrestling to be aired on Fox SportsNet. It is announced that, tonight, Television Champion James Storm will take on Heavyweight Champion Justin Gabriel in a non-title match. The match was signed last week, after Justin Gabriel interfered in Storm’s match against Tyson Kidd. Also tonight, Daniel Bryan will try to put an end to his feud with The Great Khali, as they step inside a Steel Cage in tonight’s main event.
Randy Orton pinned David Otunga with the RKO in 0:10:09. Rating: ** ¾
The Viper, Randy Orton, made his return to the PCW tonight, after injuring his back in mid-July. But, Orton wasn’t given an easy match for his return, as he stepped into the ring with David Otunga. Orton came out strong, showing no signs of ring rust from his three weeks off, as he quickly went for the RKO, but Otunga slid out of the ring and tried to compose himself. Back in the ring, Otunga tried to fight toe-to-toe with Orton, and garnered some offense, but it wasn’t enough to keep “The Viper” down, as Orton connected with a second RKO to pick up the victory.
Commercial Break
Interview: Coming back from the break, a video is show from “Last Week” of Justin Gabriel interfering against James Storm. Storm said that he was still trying to figure out why Justin Gabriel stuck his nose where it didn’t belong. Storm said that, three weeks ago, Gabriel got his victory over Storm fair and square; and that he retained the PCW Heavyweight Title in the process. And, since that time, Storm had not come in contact with Gabriel for one second. Storm asked that, if someone such as the Heavyweight Champion takes it upon himself to interfere in something that doesn’t concern him, should her deserve the fans’ cheers? Storm said that he was glad that Rex Butler signed this match tonight, because it’ll give Storm the opportunity to give Gabriel something to be upset about, and that Storm was sorry about his damn luck.
Interview: PCW Heavyweight Champion, Justin Gabriel is seen backstage. He said that it’s true: he did beat James Storm in the center of the ring, three weeks, to retain the title. But, he said he’s not the kind of person that’s going to sit around and watch Storm and Robert Roode take advantage of Tyson Kidd, in the name of getting a victory. Gabriel said that he did what was right, and that he’d do it again. Gabriel said that he too was glad Rex Butler signed the match because, with neither title on the line tonight, he can just focus on teaching Storm another lesson.

Interview: Backstage, The Great Khali and Ranjin Singh are seen with Amber Mendiola. Singh says that Daniel Bryan has been a thorn in The Great Khali’s side for far too long, and that last week, he was lucky to survive with a double countout. But tonight, Singh says that Daniel Bryan will have nowhere to run from Khali’s wrath. Singh says that The Great Khali will end up victorious tonight, and that he will leave Daniel Bryan a shell of his former self in the process.
Commercial Break
Interview: Amber Mendiola catches up with Daniel Bryan as he heads towards the ring, and asks for a response to Rajin Singh’s comments earlier tonight. Bryan says that Singh wants everyone to believe that The Great Khali is someone to be feared; that he’s someone that should be the king of the PCW. Bryan says that he’s not taking anything away from what Khali has been able to accomplish in the PCW, but that there is no man that he fears. He says that a lot of people will think that the odds are stacked against him tonight, being placed in a steel cage with the largest man to ever compete for the company. But, he says, that he has never needed anywhere to run from Khali, and that the steel cage is a perfect setting for them toe end their feud once and for all. He says that, in the past, it has been Khali who has run when he realizes that the match can’t be won, and that he can’t do that tonight - nor can Rajin Singh interfere on his behalf. Bryan says that he feels confident, and that he can’t wait to see the looks on Khali and Singh’s faces when he exit’s the ring first.
A video recap shows the brewing history between Daniel Bryan and The Great Khali as Leo Lewis and Rodney Johnson hype the steel cage match.
Steel Cage Match: Daniel Bryan defeated The Great Khali by escaping the cage in 0:12:48. Rating: * ¼
After the introductions of both men, the crowd waited in anticipation, as the cage was lowered from the rafters. Once the cage was in place, the door was locked, and the bell sounded. Bryan went on the offense, using his speed and kicks to wear down Khali, but The Punjabi Giant grabbed Bryan, and sent him to the canvas with a monstrous double choke slam. Khali tried to escape the cage, as Ranjin Singh held the door open, but Bryan was able to lock in an Achilles hold, stopping Khali in his tracks. The move sent Khali off his feet, and allowed Bryan the chance to connect with numerous kicks to Khali’s chest and upper body. Bryan kicked Khali in the head, before ascending the cage, but before he could reach the top, Khali grabbed his foot. Hanging on for dear life, Bryan was able to kick Khali away, before jumping off the top rope and delivering a missle dropkick that finally dropped Khali to the canvas. Byran headed for the cage door, still being manned by Singh, where they had a battle of strength over the door. Suddenly, Bryan ran into the ropes - as Khali slowly started getting to his feet - and used a baseball slide to kick the door, sending Ranjin Singh into the barricade as the door swung open. Just as Khali got to his feet, Bryan slid out of the ring and was announced the winner.
After the match, as Bryan retreated to safety on the ramp, Khali began manhandling the cage, shaking it violently as the crowd watched on in horror. PCW Officials made their way down to the ring, trying to coax Khali out of the ring as the show went off the air.

PCW Wrestling August 16, 2011 Hulman Center Terre Haute, Indiana Attendance: 4,386 (43%)
Interview: DANIEL BRYAN made his way to the ring as the show kicked off tonight, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Inside the ring, Bryan said that the crowd shouldn’t be afraid to cheer him; that they shouldn’t be afraid to cheer for the man who has done everything in the PCW. Bryan said he was out her e to add another item to the list of things he’s accomplished during his year-plus in the PCW. He says that people have never taken him seriously as a contender for anything - especially Heavyweight Titles - something he has won on three separate occasions. He says that he’s used to have the odds stacked against him, just like they were last week, when he stepped into the steel cage against The Great Khali. Bryan says that not only was he locked inside a cage with the tallest man to ever step foot in a wrestling ring, but he had to deal with a psychopathic manager, who would stop at nothing to see his monster win. Bryan then played a clip of the closing moments from last week’s main event, when he escaped the cage, by dropkicking the door into Ranjin Singh’s face, before exiting the cage. After the video ends, Bryan stands, smiling, for a moment, before saying that the real reason he was out tonight, was because he had his sights set on higher things, now that he had defeated Khali. Bryan says that it has been a long time since he has challenged for the Heavyweight Title; and that after getting the best of the biggest Superstar on the roster, it’s the only logical place to go.
This brings out the PCW Heavyweight Champion, JUSTIN GABRIEL, who makes his way to the ring, and gets into Bryan’s face. Gabriel says that he has been battling for his title for the past five months, while Bryan sat in the back and did nothing. Now, all of a sudden, after beating Khali, Bryan wants a title shot. Gabriel says that he’s more than willing to give Bryan a title match, but Bryan has to do more than just beat The Great Khali in a steel cage match to do it. Gabriel says that Bryan has to prove that he wants it, because if Gabriel is going to steel the show, with the title on the line, it has to be someone that deserves it. Gabriel then leaves the ring, as Bryan stands shocked…

Backstage: Television Champion, JAMES STORM, is seen backstage, confront General Manager REX BUTLER. Storm says that he knows damn well who attacked him last night, keeping him from facing Justin Gabriel: Tyson Kidd. [Non-Title Match]: Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli defeated Max Buck & David Otunga when Lethal pinned D. Otunga with the Lethal Injection in 0:06:03. Rating: ***
The Tag Team Champions have been on a very impressive roll since winning the titles back in May, defeating everyone that has come after their belts. Tonight the titles weren’t on the line, as they stepped into the ring against Max Buck and David Otunga - two men who have both tasted gold previously in the PCW. Buck and Otunga gave a strong effort tonight, but their lack of experience working as a team was no match for the champions’, as Lethal connected with the Lethal Injection on Otunga to pick up the victory.
After the match, Otunga got into the fact of the referee, complaining about a fast count, and threatening a lawsuit against the referee for unfair practices. The referee declared that his decision was final, and Otunga pushed him to the canvas, before turning his attention to Jay Lethal. Otunga attacked Lethal from behind, knocking him to the canvas, as the crowd looked on in shock. Lethal rolled out of the ring, and was helped by Castagnoli as Otunga fumed inside the ring.

Alberto Del Rio made Primo submit to the The Flying Armbar in 0:10:27. Rating: *** ½ [Roberto Rodriguez interfered against Primo.]
Two weeks after facing Justin Gabriel for the Heavyweight Title, and coming up short, Primo stepped into the ring with Alberto Del Rio tonight, hoping to get himself closer to another title shot in the future. But, Del Rio had other plans, as he controlled the match with his size advantage. With help from Roberto Rodriguez, on the outside, Del Rio was able to apply The Flying Armbar, which gave Primo no other option but to tap out.
After the match, THE GREAT KHALI makes his way to the ring, as Del Rio and Roberto run for cover on the top of the stage. Inside the ring, Khali stalks Primo as Primo slowly gets to his feet, holding his shoulder in pain. As Primo turns around, Khali catches him with a double choke slam, slamming him to the canvas as Ranjin Singh tells Khali to continue the attack. As Khali picks Primo back up, PCW officials rush down to the ring, and plead with Khali to leave. Khali connects with a huge chop to Primo’s head, before raising his arms into the air, as the crowd boos wildly. The officials continue to try getting Khali to leave the ring as the show goes to commercials.

Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel defeated James Storm & Hulk Hogan when J. Gabriel pinned J. Storm with the 450 Splash in 0:13:22. Rating: ** ¾
Earlier tonight, Hulk Hogan made his intentions clear: he wants a shot at Justin Gabriel and the Heavyweight Title. He attacked Gabriel before the bell rang, and the match was on. Hogan and James Storm had the advantage early on, until Storm - after being tagged in - missed an elbow, that allowed Gabriel to tag in Kidd, who ripped into Storm. These two men have had a strong history as of late, and Kidd nearly picked up the cover after hitting the Springboard Elbowdrop, but Hogan broke up the count. Both teams swapped the advantage for the next few minutes, until Gabriel missed a clothesline and Storms grabbed his arms as Hogan entered the ring. Hogan attempted to hit the Big Boot, but Gabriel moved out of the ring, and Hogan connected on Storm. Gabriel threw Hogan out of the ring, and climbed to the top rope as Tyson Kidd used a suicide dive to the outside, on to Hogan. Gabriel hit the 450 Splash to pick up the victory.
After the match, as Gabriel celebrated inside the ring, ROBERT ROODE appeared at ringside, and attacked Tyson Kidd, throwing him into the ring steps. Before leaving the ring area, Roode said that, next week, he’d see Kidd in the ring, and that he will finish Kidd off once and for all. The show goes off the air, as Gabriel exit’s the ring to check on Kidd.

Tuesday Night Rampage August 23, 2011 Jamestown Civic Center Jamestown, North Dakota Attendance: 2,562 (42%) Leo Lewis and Rodney Johnson welcome everyone to Jamestown, North Darkota to tonight’s episode. They announce that tonight, after weeks off with an injury, Robert Roode will step back into the ring to face Tyson Kidd, in a match that has had the PCW fans’ attentions since Day One. HULK HOGAN makes his way out to the ring, to start off the show, getting a mixed reaction from the small town crowd. Hogan says that the people that are booing him should shut their mouths, because they’re being graced with the presence of the most popular wrestler in the history of the business. And, that if it weren’t for Peter Bradshaw and Rex Butler trying to make something of this company based off his name, he would never know Jamestown, North Dakota ever existed. (Crowd boos louder) Hogan says that the only reason he’s out here, is because he has had to listen to Daniel Bryan say - for weeks - that he should be getting a title shot against Justin Gabriel. Hogan says that Daniel Bryan claims he beat The Great Khali, and that alone should make him number one contender; but Hogan says that he beat Andre the Giant, some 20+ years ago, so Bryan isn’t the first man to beat a “Giant”. Hogan says that he’s the biggest name in this business, and that if anyone deserves a shot at Justin Gabriel and the Heavyweight Title, it should be the man that will single-handedly turn this company around. Hogan then challenges Daniel Bryan to a Number One Contenders Match, right now… Hulk Hogan vs. Daniel Bryan (#1 Contenders Match)Hogan came out as the aggressor tonight, wanting to stake his claim as a relevant contender for the Heavyweight Title. He used his experience and power to get the better of Bryan, but Bryan was able to reverse an irish whip into the ropes and connect with a dropkick. Hogan, having trouble getting to his feet, quickly became the victim of a cross arm breaker, that sent “The Hulkster” scrambling for the ropes. Byran began to argue with the referee for not breaking the hold after Hogan grabbed the ropes, allowing Hogan to get back to his feet. As Bryan turned around, Hogan connected with a big boot before hitting the Big Leg Drop and making the cover for the 1-2-3. Hulk Hogan pinned Daniel Bryan with the Big Leg Drop in 0:05:25. Rating: *** ¾Commercial BreakBackstage, DAVID OTUNGA is seen getting ready for his match, when he is confronted by Commissioner Rex Butler. Butler says that Otunga had no right to put his hands on the referee of his match last week; and seeing as how intelligent Otunga claims to be, he should’ve known that. Otunga gets into Butler’s face and says that, if he wanted to, he could sue Peter Bradshaw for everything he owns, and could run this company if he chose to. Butler says that’s great, and that Otunga can’t just walk around threatening to sue everyone he comes in contact with, because it makes him look like a coward. So, in order to prove that he’s not a coward, Butler says Otunga will have a match against Jay Lethal - the man who he attacked after their match last week. Butler walks away as Otunga fumes… The Bravado Brothers vs. Claudio Castagnoli/John CenaWith Jay Lethal dealing with some issues of his own tonight, Claudio Castagnoli was in search of a tag team partner to take on The Bravados. The crowd in Jamestown lost their minds as John Cena was announced as Claudio’s partner. But the Tag Team Champion and Cena didn’t have as easy of time as they appeared to have on paper. The Bravados took everything that was given to them, and dished it out just as much. Cena nearly picked up a pinfall, after hitting the Attitude Adjuster, but Lance was able to get his foot on the ropes to break the count. The match continued with the Bravados sending Cena to the outside, using the ring area to wear him down. Back inside the ring, Cena was able to fight back, and eventually tag out to Castagnoli, but the Bravados were still able to hold their own against the fresher man. The Bravados were able to isolate Castagnoli in their corner, wearing him down. But, a failed clothesline attempt allowed “Double C” to tag out to Cena, who cleaned house. Cena went for another AA, but was rolled up into a sunset flip, which he kicked out of at two. Cena then rolled up Harlem, with an inside cradle as he was arguing with the referee, and picked up the 1-2-3! Claudio Castagnoli & John Cena defeated The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when J. Cena pinned Harlem after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:18:34. Rating: **Commercial BreakBackstage, Amber Mendiola is seen with ROBERT ROODE. Roode said that he is very glad to have finally gotten medical clearance to come back and be allowed to actively participate on Tuesday Night Rampage. He said that, over the past few weeks, he had been feeling better each week, and that by attacking Tyson Kidd, he wanted to remind Kidd that things were still not settled between the two of them. Roode said that he was looking forward to stepping into the ring with Kidd no matter what, but now that he’s become the HWL X-Division Champion, beating Kidd would be that much sweeter. David Otunga vs. Jay LethalAfter last week’s brutal post-match attack by David Otunga, Commissioner Rex Butler gave Jay Lethal the chance to even the score in this one-on-one contest. Unfortunately for the Tag Team Champion, Otunga was still furious from, what he thought, was being wrongfully pinned during last week’s tag team match. Otunga took his frustrations out on Lethal, and quickly ended the match after hitting The Verdict for the 1-2-3. David Otunga pinned Jay Lethal with the Verdict in 0:05:07. Rating: *** ¼Commercial BreakComing back from the break, Amber Mendiola is seen with HULK HOGAN, who is quickly confronted by Heavyweight Champion, JUSTIN GABRIEL. Gabriel says that he isn’t surprised by Hogan thrusting his name into the contendership race, or that he found a way to earn at shot at Gabriel’s Title. The champ says that, next week, they’re going to be in his homeland, and that there will be thousands of people cheering for him. And, because of that, and because he will not allow himself to lose to someone who stopped being relevant 15 years ago, Gabriel says that Hogan will need to bring his absolute best to take away his title. Gabriel then pushed by Hogan as Hogan stared angrily into the distance… Tyson Kidd vs. Robert RoodeAfter weeks of using his tag team partner, James Storm, to get to Tyson Kidd - and sneaking in cheap shot where he could - Robert Roode finally returned to action tonight, against a man who had been anticipating this match more than anything. Roode looked impressive when the ball rang, showing very little signs of ring rust as he took the fight to Kidd. Roode held onto the advantage after tossing Kidd outside the ring and throwing him into the ring steps. When Kidd made his way back into the ring, Roode rolled him up, but only got a two count. The match turned when Kidd ducked a clothesline attempt and connected with a dropkick that sent Roode rolling back outside the ring. Kidd then used a springboard plancha to the outside, which got the crowd going! Kidd used the referee’s 10-count to get as much damage done to Roode as he could, with help from the ringside surroundings. At eight, Kidd rolled Roode back into the ring and went for the cover, only getting a two-count. Kidd braced himself, and went for the Springboard Elbowdrop, but Roode moved out of the ring, giving him time to catch his breath. Kidd ran into the ring, but Roode surprised everyone by hitting a spine buster slam, and grabbing Kidd’s trunks as the referee counted the 1-2-3. Tuesday Night Rampage August 30, 2011 ICC Durban Arena - Durban, South Africa Attendance: 5.600 (56%)
JUSTIN GABRIEL COMES HOME PCW Heavyweight Champion, Justin Gabriel, comes out to the ring, getting a huge ovation from the Durban crowd. Gabriel says that he had always dreamed about performing in front of his hometown crowd, and that the dream was only sweeter if he were Champion. He says that, tonight, he finally gets to live out that dream; and that it’s against a man he grew up idolizing. Gabriel says that, just like all the kids in America, during the 1980s, he lived by the words of “The Hulkster” Hulk Hogan. Gabriel said that he took his vitamins and said his prayers… all because, one day, he wanted to be just like Hogan. He says that he was just as heart-broken, all those years ago, when Hogan turned his back on the fans, and became the face of everything that was wrong with professional wrestling. Soon, Gabriel says, he became one of the many former fans who started to despise everything that Hogan stood for; and nowadays, he is one of the millions of wrestling “fans” who think that Hogan has overstayed his welcome in the business. Gabriel says that there would be no greater thrill then coming back to South Africa as Heavyweight Champion, beating Hulk Hogan, and walking out with the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. Gabriel says he knows he’s ready for tonight’s match, and that with his the South African crowd behind him, there would be no way for him to lose. David Hart Smith vs. Bryon Sexton“The Canadian Bulldog” stepped into the ring tonight, taking on Bryon Sexton, who hasn’t been heard of from some time lately, but made a huge statement tonight. Sexton was able to withstand Smith’s power display, and out of nowhere, stunned Smith - and the crowd - with a kick square to Smith’s temple. Sexton, shocked as much as anyone else, made the cover and was awarded the victory. Byron Sexton defeated David Hart Smith via pinfall in 0:05:03. Rating: * ¾DAVID OTUNGA IS STILL NOT HAPPY Backstage, David Otunga confronts PCW Commissioner, Rex Butler, and says that he still isn’t happy with the way things went down, two weeks ago; and that if giving him a match against Jay Lethal was supposed to make things right, then Butler is sadly mistaken. Otunga says that he is one-half of the HWL Tag Team Champions, and that he should treated as such but everyone in the PCW. Butler says congratulates Otunga on becoming HWL Tag Team Champion, but says that if it hadn’t been for his time in the PCW, he would’ve never been called up to the main roster. So, instead of demanding that everyone treat him like royalty, Otunga should be thanking every single person on the PCW roster who is still fighting tooth and nail to get their call-up. Butler says that he has a compromise. He says that he will allow Otunga to hand pick his opponent, for a match next week, under one condition: his opponent must be someone who Otunga things is on his level; and that by announcing who his opponent is, Otunga will be announcing to the world where he thinks his level is at. Butler walked away as Otunga stood, staring off into the distance… A HELPING HAND Backstage, John Cena is seen walking through the hallways, when he is approached by PCW Tag Team Champion, Claudio Castagnoli. Castagnoli says that he just wanted to thank Cena for stepping in for Jay Lethal last week; and that if there was anything he could do to repay Cena, to just name it. Cena thanks “Double C” for the offer, and says that he will think about it. The two of them part ways as “Rampage” goes to commercials. Commercial BreakMax Buck vs. © James Storm (PCW Television Title Match)Tonight, Max Buck got another chance to face the man who beat him for the Television Title last month, and he took out all the stops in an attempt to get the job done. But, Storm was resilient, and fought his way back from betting busted open - after getting thrown head-first into the ring post - to come back and even things up. Having fought each other in the past, both men were able to counter out of the other’s finishing moves, adding another aspect to the match. But, after hitting Buck with a low blow - and with the referee’s back turned, Storm was able to take a drink of his beer. As buck turned around, Storm spit the beer in his eyes, and rolled Buck up for the 1-2-3. James Storm pinned Max Buck after an inside cradle in 0:10:29. Rating: *** (James Storm retained the PCW Television Title.)Commercial BreakROBERT ROODE DEMANDS MORE As “Rampage” returns, Robert Roode makes his way to the ring, as the crowd showers him with boos. In the ring, Roode says that, for the past six weeks, he has been doing nothing but getting back into the best physical condition of his life, and making Tyson Kidd’s life a living hell. Roode says that everything he was doing was building up to last week’s match with Kidd - a match in which Roode pinned the HWL X-Division Champion in the center of the ring. Roode says that, since he beat Kidd so decisively, he was going to move on from that part of his career. Roode says that if Kidd isn’t happy with losing last week, that he would just have to deal with it. Roode, on the other hand, says that it’s time for himself to look to bigger and better things. Roode says that, whether the fans hate him or not, they all know that he is one of the best - if not THE best - wrestler on the PCW roster. And, because of that, he should be stepping in line for a title shot. Roode says he doesn’t care what title he challenges for, because no matter what title it is, when the bell rings, he is going to be the new champion. Roode tells Commissioner Rex Butler to be thinking about what title shot he’s going to get, because Roode will be expecting an answer next week. Roode leaves the ring, to even more boos, as a backstage shot shows Hulk Hogan getting ready for tonight’s main event. Straight Edge Society (CM Punk & Luke Gallows) vs. © Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli (PCW Tag Team Title Match)The crowd was shocked by the appearance of CM Punk and Luke Gallows as the opponents for the Tag Team Titles tonight. The match was very fast-paced, with a number of near-falls for both teams. Punk and Gallows - who haven’t teamed together in a number of months - looked like they had not lost a single step since their last tag match; while Lethal and Castagnoli proved, once again, why they are the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in PCW history. Neither team could score a pinfall or submission, and the match was called at the 20-minute mark. Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli and the Straight Edge Society (CM Punk & Luke Gallows) battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Hogan started out, showing an intensity that hadn’t been seen from him in a while; the possibly of becoming Heavyweight Champion obviously playing a part. Hogan used his power to take advantage of Gabriel, sending the champ through the ropes with a clothesline. Hogan played to the crowd, giving Gabriel enough time to recover outside, and when Hogan finally made his way through the ropes, Gabriel was ready, sending Hogan into the ring post. Gabriel rolled Hogan back into the ring, and body slammed him in the corner, before hitting the 450 Splash. Hogan, however, was able to get his foot on the rope, breaking the count, and forcing the match to continue. HULK HOGAN DEMANDS A REMATCH Hulk Hogan starts off the show by coming down to the ring. Hogan says that, last week, Justin Gabriel may have beaten him to retain the Heavyweight Title, but that everyone knows that it was just a fluke. Hogan says that there was no way Gabriel would be able to beat him again. Hogan calls out Rex Butler and demands a rematch for later tonight. Butler says that Hogan has been in the business long enough to know that he could only be given a rematch if there were circumstances that called for one. Butler says that he watched Gabriel pin Hogan’s shoulders to the mat, thus getting a clean victory. Butler says that, because of that fact, Hogan would NOT be getting a rematch tonight; but that the Heavyweight Title would be on the line, as Justin Gabriel would defend the belt against Max Buck.

ROBERT ROODE MAKES A DEMAND Robert Roode comes out to the ring and is met with a roar of boos from the crowd. He says that, last week, he defeated the HWL’s X-Division Champion, Tyson Kidd, in the center of the ring. Roode says that he knows what it’s like to be a champion in the HWL. In fact, he reminds, the crowd, that he and James Storm were the very first HWL Tag Team Champions. And, because of those facts, Roode says that Rex Butler should give him a title match of his choosing. This brings out Butler, who reminds Roode that, if he wants a title match, he will have to earn it just like everyone one else in the PCW. Roode says that Butler is making a huge mistake, and that when he becomes champion again, Roode will rule the PCW. Butler wishes Roode good luck before leaving the stage, not letting Roode’s threats provoke him.

Straight Edge Society vs. © Jay Lethal & Claudio Castagnoli (2/3 Falls Match for Tag Team Titles)
CM Punk and Luke Gallows were looking to have a better showing this week, after going the distance with the champs last week. Jay Lethal and Claudio Castagnoli were looking to continue their streak as the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in PCW history. Both teams battled strong leading into the first fall, which was a struggle between Punk and Castagnoli. But, Punk locked in a double reverse chinlock and “Double C” had no choice but to tap out.
Punk stayed on Castagnoli as the second fall started, but Castagnoli countered a hiptoss into a backslide, only getting at two-count. Castagnoli tried to stay on the offense, hitting a belly-to-back suplex; but back on his feet, Punk reversed an irish whip and slapped Claudio right in the face. The two of them stared down each other as Punk demanded that Claudio tag in Jay Lethal. Punk and Lethal went after each other, until Gallows entered the ring to help, only to get hip tossed out of the ring! After a brief series of tags from both teams - and all four men being in the ring - the match continued with Lethal and Gallows.
