THUNDER (May 31, 2000)
The Natural Born Thrillers came to the ring and Mike Sanders declared Chuck Palumbo the number one contender for the World TV Title due to the beating he put on the champ Elix Skipper and the former champ Disco Inferno last week. First Elix came out and declared himself a fighting champion. But he told Palumbo if he wants a shot, he has to earn it through victories, not sneak attacks.
Disco then came out and said he still has not gotten the fair shot he deserves to get his title back that he never lost. The standoff ended with a tag match being made for tonight, Sanders and Palumbo against Skipper and Disco.
CHRISTIAN YORK AND JOEY MATTHEWS VS. YANG AND LASH LEROUX
York and Matthews continued to impress, as they have since arriving in WCW. But before they could finish off a victory against Yang and LeRoux, Shane Helms and Shannon Moore charged the ring to try to get another piece of York and Matthews. All four began to brawl and security had to come to break them up.
Christian York and Joey Matthews defeated Yang and Lash LeRoux when York defeated Yang by disqualification in 0:07:22. Rating: * 3/4
It was announced that it has been booked for the Great American Bash, York and Matthews against Helms and Moore.
HARDCORE TAG TEAM MATCH TOO COLD SCORPIO AND NORMAN SMILEY VS. ALEX WRIGHT AND TERRY FUNK
Funk is the hardcore legend, Smiley himself has grown into a veteran of the division, Scorpio the champ had a stint fighting in ECW, but Wright has been adjusting nicely, perhaps better than them all to the hardcore style of fighting. Weapons and bodies flew everywhere. Wright dropped Smiley onto an ironing board with a neckbreaker to get the win.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Alex Wright and Terry Funk defeated Too Cold Scorpio and Norman Smiley when A. Wright pinned N. Smiley with the Reverse Neckbreaker in 0:10:18. Rating: ** ¾
It was announced that these four men would compete in a 4-way elimination match for the Hardcore title at the Bash.
Vampiro came out and introduced the man known as the Fallen Angel to the audience. If Sting wants a piece of Vampiro he first has to go through the Angel at the Bash. As a warm-up, The Fallen Angel challenges any man in the back to match right now to showcase his talents. Answering the challenge was Scott Hall!!
THE FALLEN ANGEL VS. SCOTT HALL
Hall had a size and strength advantage over the Angel, but the Angel was able to hit some nice high flying moves. Though he may have tried for one flying move to many as Hall caught him and hit a powerbomb. He went to set him up for the Outsiders Edge, when he saw the Millionaire’s Club members Luger, Flair and Sid walk to the ring. Hall dropped Angel and started talking smack to the trio. This seemed to be a mistake as the Angel gathered himself and hit a move he calls The Last Rites, to get a pin.
The Fallen Angel pinned Scott Hall with the Last Rites in 0:10:47. Rating: ****
ELIX SKIPPER AND DISCO INFERNO VS. MIKE SANDERS AND CHUCK PALUMBO
It was obvious the teamwork edge was on the side of the Thrillers. They worked very well as a team while Skipper and Disco had several communication problems. Palumbo took advantage of an argument between the two and hit his Jungle Kick on Skipper and pinned the TV Champ.
Chuck Palumbo and Mike Sanders defeated Disco Inferno and Elix Skipper when C. Palumbo defeated Prime Time with the Jungle Kick in 0:11:35. Rating: ** 3/4
Card rating: ***

Triple Threat saving Bagwell is odd. It's not like Bagwell has given them a reason to come out to his aid.
I'm guessing the Fallen Angel is Christopher Daniels? If so, it is an interesting pairing with Vampiro.
Jarrett-Page and Goldberg-Booker are both being built up well. I would almost think that Jarrett and Goldberg both are going over, but that leaves Jarrett without a challenger for the next PPV. I'll be interested to see where you take it.

Yes the Fallen Angel is indeed Christopher Daniels. He acctually had a small part in the feud in real life. He made a one time appearance somewhere around their human torch match.
I acctually have PPV main events planned until Starrcade so I guess just wait and see :-)

WCW had such a weird roster around this time, it's good you picked it up and are now starting to make it your own.

MONDAY NITRO (June 5, 2000)
With less than a week until the Great American Bash, everyone seems to be getting anxious for their matches. Nitro began not in the ring, but in the back where Booker T jumped Goldberg in the lockerroom. The two fought all over the backstage area until Jeff Jarrett got involved, smashing a guitar over Booker’s head. They began to double team Booker until DDP showed up and evened up the fight.
The brawl continued with Scott Steiner arriving to help out his New Blood buddy Jarrett. Jarrett and Goldberg held Page while Steiner lifted a lead pipe high over his head and was ready to come down on Page until out of nowhere, Shane Douglas came and tackled him from behind. Douglas then began to pound away on the man that will challenge him for the US Title on Sunday. Booker recovered and clotheslined Goldberg while DDP hit Jarrett with a low blow.
All six brawled all over the backstage area. Security had a hard time tearing everyone apart. The finally pulled everyone apart and decided on a 6 man main event tonight. Jarrett, Steiner and Goldberg against Douglas, DDP and Booker T.
BAM BAM BIGELOW AND CHRIS CANDIDO VS. MIKE AWESOME AND THE WALL
Candido and Bam Bam showed themselves what a threat they are to Kronik’s tag titles with a convincing win over Awesome and the Wall of the New Blood. Kronik appeared at the entranceway after the match and all four had an intense staredown.
Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido) defeated The New Blood (Mike Awesome and The Wall) when Bigelow pinned The Wall with the Greetings from Asbury Park in 0:12:07. Rating: *** ½
JUVENTUD VS. CHAVO GUERRERO JR.
Juventud made his return to action after being injured at the hands of Konnan a few weeks back. Konnan was in Chavo’s corner while Rey was in Juventud’s corner. The match was pretty civil for most of it. That is until Rey and Konnan began going at it the outside. As they began to brawl, Juventud took control in the ring and hit a 450 splash on Chavo to gain the win.
Juventud pinned Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the 450 Splash in 0:13:43. Rating: *** ¼
LANCE STORM VS. SHAWN STASIAK
It didn’t take long for this one to get out of control. No sooner then the bell rang, than the ring began to fill up. The Wall and Mike Awesome provided an assist to their New Blood buddy Stasiak as they ran into the ring and jumped Storm. Storm did he best to try to fight them off, but the numbers advantage was too much.
Fortunately, there are enough people in WCW that hate the New Blood to even things up. Billy Kidman and Chris Kanyon came down to save Storm and all three fought off the New Blood.
Lance Storm defeated Shawn Stasiak by disqualification in 0:00:29. Rating: 3/4*
After the match, it was announced that a 6-man match has been signed for the Great American Bash. Kidman, Kanyon and Storm against Awesome, Wall and Stasiak.
Joey Matthews and Christian York came to the ring, and this time they decided to call out Evan Karagias, asking him why he would join up with Helms and Moore instead of two all-around better men, like them. Karagias replied that they weren’t crap compared to Helms and Moore and if one of them had a problem with that, then take of it right now.
JOEY MATTHEWS VS. EVAN KARAGIAS
Joey Matthews took up the challenge and fought Karagias one-on-one. Karagias took the early advantage, but Matthews was able to throw him out to the floor where York ran him into the steel steps behind the refs back. Matthews kept the edge he got and went on to get the win.
Joey Matthews pinned Evan Karagias after a vertical facebuster in 0:09:40. Rating: ***
After the match, York got into the ring and they started a beatdown of Karagais until Helms and Moore ran down to chase them off. Matthews and York wanted no part of them tonight, telling them to wait till Sunday.
SCOTT HALL VS. LEX LUGER
There’s just nothing good that could be said about this match.
Lex Luger pinned Scott Hall after a hiptoss in 0:10:13. Rating: -** ¼
BOOKER T, DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE AND SHANE DOUGLAS VS. JEFF JARRETT, SCOTT STEINER AND BILL GOLDBERG
This was just a brawl from beginning to end. Very little semblance of a match occurred between six men that all legitimately hated each other. All hell broke loose near the end. Douglas clothesline Steiner over the guardrail and into the crowd. He then followed Steiner into the crowd and kept up the attack as Steiner retreated through the crowd, with Douglas giving chase.
Booker looked in position to get the win for his team, catching Jarrett with the Book End. But he didn’t see Goldberg come into the ring and nail him with the spear. He followed up with a jackhammer and got the pin on Booker.
The New Blood (Jeff Jarrett and Scott Steiner) and Bill Goldberg defeated Booker T, Diamond Dallas Page and Shane Douglas when Goldberg pinned Booker with the Jackhammer in 0:18:48.
The action didn’t stop there. The went for the double team on Booker after the match but DDP, who was previously knocked out on the floor, came back into the ring with a chair and laid out Goldberg and Jarrett. He then jumped on top of Jarrett and began pounding away until Jarrett countered with a low blow.
Jarrett positioned the chair ready to hit the stroke on it, but DDP countered and caught him with the Diamond Cutter right on the chair. By this time, Goldberg was getting up and was measuring Page to deliver another spear, but Booker managed to grab Jarrett’s guitar at ringside and came back into the ring at just the right time. As Goldberg was in mid-charge, he was stopped in his tracks when Booker swung the guitar like a bat and crushed Goldberg in the head.
Rating: *** 3/4

Nice comment on the Hall/Luger match. I wonder if real bookers think that way sometimes when they're watching something.
I like the feud with Helms, Moore Matthews and York. I think they coulda put on some real good matches in real life. BUt you set up the rivarly really well.

I'm not a huge fan of people making fun of their roster while they are writing a card. It kind of smacks the reader with the reality hammer. Not a huge deal, but it's just something that I prefer.
I am a little bit surprised that you had Goldberg go over Booker, but this might mean that Booker is going over on the PPV. That would be a nice surprise.
I'm enjoying the build for the main event scene. You've done a great job of building up some suspense, and I really don't know who is going to go over.

This. Like Josh said, not a huge deal by any means, but we all kind of know that it wouldn't be a great match, but we're not actually watching the matches, so burying them instantly means I'm not going to care about anything Hall or Luger do now. Which may be what you want, but still.

THUNDER (June 7, 2000)
The show begins with the Natural Born Thrillers coming out to the ring and Mike Sanders congratulating Palumbo on beating Skipper last week and as a result, becoming the number one contender for the TV Title. Sanders said that when Palumbo beats Skipper this weekend at the Great American Bash, it will be just the first on many triumphs for the Natural Born Thrillers.
At the sound of this, the familiar disco music kicked on as the Disco Inferno made his way to the ring. He said if anyone is going to get a shot at Skipper at the PPV it is going to be him.
With all the talk of who deserves a shot at the champ, it was only fitting the champ came out next. Skipper came out with the gold around his waist and said he didn’t care who he faced, nobody was going to take the title from him. And in regards as to who gets the PPV match, he was going to let everybody work it out for themselves. Skipper proposed a match tonight, Palumbo VS. Disco, with the winner getting the title shot. Both parties accepted and we have our main event for tonight booked.
BIG VITO VS. VAN HAMMER
Van Hammer was trying to work his way back up the ladder while Vito was trying to establish himself as a singles competitor. The two big men traded some power moves but in the end, it was Vito going over and getting a clean pin.
Big Vito pinned Van Hammer with the Code of Silence in 0:08:36. Rating: ** ½
As Vito was walking back up the ramp after the match, he was blindsided by his former partner Johnny the Bull. The Bull relentlessly attacked Vito until security came to pull him off.
BAM BAM BIGELOW VS. BRIAN ADAMS
This was a preview of the world tag title match at the Bash. Bigelow took the early lead in the match, but things turned when Brian Clark whipped Bigelow into the steel steps with Adams distracting the ref in the ring.
Adams had Bigelow set up for a chokeslam, but Bam Bam blocked it and hit one of his own. Clark grabbed a chair and was set to make a run in, when Chris Candido came down to even up the numbers. He ripped the chair from Clark’s hands and then smashed him with it. Free of interference, Bam Bam hit Greetings from Asbury Park and got the win.
Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Brian Adams with the Greetings from Asbury Park in 0:14:39. Rating: **
3 COUNT VS. CHAVO GUERRERO AND KONNAN
This was a warm-up match for each team going into their own heated grudge matches at the Bash. With that being the case, one should’ve expected that this was going to stay a clean match. Backstage before the match, York and Matthews attacked 3 Count, injuring Helms’ arm. This led him to be easy pickings for Konnan in the match and now it becomes a question of how healthy will he be this Sunday.
Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Konnan defeated 3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore) when Konnan defeated Helms when Helms passed out in the Tequila Sunrise in 0:05:04. Rating: *** ½
DISCO INFERNO VS. CHUCK PALUMBO
Disco came out a house of fire, eager to get a shot at regaining the TV title. But the numbers game was in the corner of the Thrillers. Disco had Palumbo ready for the Chart Buster, but O’Haire and Jindrak made a charge towards the ring. The referee stopped them, but Mike Sanders took advantage of the distraction. He tried to sneak into the ring, but Disco caught him. He closelined Sanders back out to the floor, but Palumbo waited and caught him with the Jungle Kick to get the win and the TV Title shot at the Bash.
Chuck Palumbo pinned Disco Inferno with the Jungle Kick in 0:12:40. Rating: *** 1/4

THE GREAT AMERICAN BASH (June 11, 2000)
3 COUNT VS. CHRISTIAN YORK AND JOEY MATTHEWS
These four put on a great opening match. A lot of high-flying back and forth action. York and Matthews tried to take advantage of the arm injury Helms suffered on Thunder and controlled him for most of the match. Helms finally got out of trouble when he reversed an attempted superplex into a top rope DDT. He made the tag to Moore and Moore came in and cleaned house.
Matthews and York were able to come back and went for the double team on Moore, but Helms recovered enough to dropkick Matthews out of the ring and follow it up with a springboard splash onto the floor. This freed up Moore to get the pin on York.
3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore) defeated Christian York and Joey Matthews when S. Moore pinned York with the Bottoms Up in 0:16:44. Rating: *** ½
After the match, York and Matthews were not happy with the defeat as they ran back into the ring and blindsided Helms and Moore. They knocked out Moore and then went to work locking Helms in an armbar until they finally had enough and let go.
TV TITLE ELIX SKIPPER VS. CHUCK PALUMBO
Palumbo took the early control in the match, having a little bit of a size advantage, but Skipper’s quickness and athleticism soon turned the match around. However, you just knew the Natural Born Thrillers would make an appearance. Skipper hit the Play of the Day and the other three, Sanders, O’Haire and Jindrak, tried to make a run to the ring but Skipper had the ability to fight them off. He then did an impressive springboard moonsault to the floor that took them all out. He went up to the top rope, waited for Palumbo to get up and then hit him with a flying forearm to get the win and retain his title.
Elix Skipper pinned Chuck Palumbo after a flying forearm in 0:15:59. Rating: ** 3/4 (Elix Skipper retained the WCW WORLD TELEVISION TITLE.)
BILLY KIDMAN, CHRIS KANYON AND LANCE STORM VS. THE NEW BLOOD (Mike Awesome, The Wall and Shawn Stasiak).
Plain and simple these were 6 men who didn’t like each other and that was evident from the bell. They all paired off and fought all over ringside. Kidman fought Stasiak, Kanyon and the Wall squared off, and Storm took Awesome.
Kidman was on the top rope ready to make a quick end to the match having Stasiak set up for the 450 splash, but the Wall made the save. He ran up and tossed Kidman off onto the floor onto the guardrail. The New Blood began going to work on Kidman, but he soon reversed his fortune and tagged in Storm. Storm tore through all of the New Blood members until they tried a 3-on-1 which was soon countered by Kidman and Kanyon coming to his aid.
Some of the fighting spilled onto the floor and Storm was left in the ring with Awesome. Awesome tried to set him up for an Awesome Bomb, but Storm pulled his legs out and locked him in the Maple Leaf. With his partners not able to make the save, Awesome was forced to tap out.
Billy Kidman, Chris Kanyon and Lance Storm defeated The New Blood (Mike Awesome and The Wall) and Shawn Stasiak when L. Storm made Awesome submit to the Canadian Maple Leaf in 0:12:35. Rating: ** ¾
KONNAN AND CHAVO GUERRERO VS. REY MISTERIO AND JUVENTUD
Rey and Juventud charged the ring and immediately went right after Konnan and Chavo and quickly cleared the ring as Konnan and Chavo needed a minute to regroup. Juventud decided to get on the top rope and tried doing a flying splash, but Konnan caught him and torpedoed him into the guardrail.
With Juventud knocked out, Rey was caught in a 2-on-1 situation. Although he did the best he could, every time he tried to mount an offensive comeback Konnan and Chavo were able to squash it. After a while, Konnan had Rey set up for a pin, but Juventud was able to pull himself back up, and come up with a springboard elbow onto Konnan to break up the pin.
Juventud had a renewed energy and started taking out both Konnan and Chavo as Rey recovered. Juventud took Konnan to the floor and Chavo tried to take advantage of a prone Rey. He climbed to the top and tried to come off with a flying splash but Rey caught him with a powerslam and got the pin
The Filthy Animals (Juventud and Rey Misterio Jr.) defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Konnan when Misterio Jr. pinned Chavo Jr. after a powerslam in 0:17:51. Rating: ****
HARDCORE TITLE FOUR CORNERS MATCH TOO COLD SCORPIO VS. ALEX WRIGHT VS. TERRY FUNK VS. NORMAN SMILEY
Too Cold Scorpio is starting to totally legitimize himself as a hardcore superstar. He faced three challengers in a hardcore elimination match and took out all three of them. He pinned Alex Wright after a powerbomb through a table. He pinned Funk after a splash with him laying on a ladder and then pinned Smiley with another splash this time through a table.
Four Corners Match: Too Cold Scorpio defeated Alex Wright, Norman Smiley and Terry Funk: x Scorpio beat A. Wright via a power bomb in 0:09:54 x Scorpio beat T. Funk via the Flying Scorpio Splash in 0:15:09 x Scorpio beat N. Smiley via the Flying Scorpio Splash in 0:19:58 Rating: ** 3/4 (Too Cold Scorpio retained the WCW HARDCORE TITLE.)
WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES KRONIK VS. TRIPLE THREAT
Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido were just seconds away from becoming the new world tag team champions until the New Blood came to interfere in things. Bigelow has Clark pinned when Shawn Stasiak came down and pulled the ref out and then knocked him out.
But even the added numbers couldn’t stop Bigelow and Candido. They fought off every member of the New Blood that tried to run in. However, they slid in a table and Bigelow set up Clark for a powerbomb, but at that point, the ref came to and saw what was going on in the ring. When Bam Bam went through with the powerbomb through the table, the ref called for the DQ
KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clark) defeated Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido) when Clark defeated Bigelow by disqualification in 0:11:27. Rating: * (KroniK retained the WCW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES.)
STING VS. THE FALLEN ANGEL
It was Sting’s first match in almost two months, but there seemed to be very little ring rust on the veteran. He came out firing like the Stinger of old going right after the Fallen Angel. Vampiro however, accompanied him to ringside and helped provide the distraction that turn the tide of the match for a period of time.
Sting though wouldn’t be denied as he overcame Vampiro’s interference and hit the Scorpion Death Drop to gain the pin.
After the match, Vampiro retreated to the top of the ramp as Sting stood in the ring, pointing his bat right at Vampiro letting him know he was next.
Sting defeated The Fallen Angel via pinfall in 0:11:32. Rating: *** ½
UNITED STATES TITLE SHANE DOUGLAS VS. SCOTT STEINER
Steiner’s power was too much for Douglas in the early going of the match. Along with that, every time Douglas would try to get an edge thanks to his technical abilities, Steiner would counter with some sort of cheap shot while the ref wasn’t looking.
However, Steiner’s desire to inflict pain as well as take the title turned out to be his downfall. He set up a table on the floor and had Douglas on the apron outside the ropes trying to suplex him through the table. Douglas however was able to block the move and hit a belly-to-belly of his down driving Steiner through the table.
Steiner was out cold and it turned into a race between Douglas and the count to get back into the ring. Douglas crawled back in at 9 to get a countout victory.
Shane Douglas defeated Scott Steiner by countout in 0:13:56. Rating: ** 1/4 (Shane Douglas retained the WCW UNITED STATES TITLE.)
BOOKER T VS. GOLDBERG
Goldberg was bigger and stronger and it showed. Booker’s athleticism was able to keep him in the match for the most part, but along with this new found mean streak, Goldberg looked unstoppable.
That was until Booker had the presence of mind to side step an attempted spear and let Goldberg ram himself into the ring post. Booker looked ready to seize the advantage until Vince Russo and Jeff Jarrett made an appearance. Russo distracted the referee while Jarrett snuck in the ring and smashed a guitar over Booker T’s head. Once the ref came back around, Goldberg hit the Jackhammer and got the pin.
Bill Goldberg pinned Booker T with the Jackhammer in 0:11:51. Rating: *** 1/4
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE JEFF JARRETT VS. DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE
DDP was hungry for the title, and his aggressive style to begin the match had Jarrett retreating. Late in the match, Page had Jarrett set up for a Diamond Cutter, but Jarrett was able to shove him off. However, Page collided with the ref knocking him out. Then all hell broke loose.
Jarrett set up DDP for the stroke, but Page reversed it and hit a Diamond Cutter, but with no referee to count, Goldberg ran back down and speared Page. This brought out Booker T who ran down and started brawling with Goldberg.
New Blood members raced to the ring, but for every one of them, there came someone down to counter them. The only person from the New Blood who didn’t have someone on their ass was Vince Russo. He grabbed the title belt and tried to smack DDP with it, but DDP instead was able to hit him with a Diamond Cutter. By this time though Jarrett was back on his feet and hit Page with the Stroke. The referee crawled back to count the pin, and give the victory to the champ.
Jeff Jarrett pinned Diamond Dallas Page after The Stroke in 0:16:27. Rating: *** 1/2 (Jeff Jarrett retained the WCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE.)

MONDAY NITRO (June 12, 2000)
The show opens with Vince Russo and the New Blood coming to the ring. Once everyone enters, Russo points to the back and introduces the man who is STILL the world heavyweight champion, The Chosen One, Jeff Jarrett!!
Jarrett comes out with the gold around his waist and pyro going off all around. He enters the ring and poses to the crowd. He grabs the mic and goes on about no matter who they throw infront of him, Booker T, DDP, it doesn’t matter. He is the Chosen One.
At that point, Eric Bischoff’s music comes on as he makes his way out to the top of the stage. Bischoff said that Jarrett was still the champion and there’s nothing he could do about it. No matter how controversial the end of the match at the Great American Bash was, Jarrett walked out the champ. But. It’s time to find Jarrett a new opponent for next month’s Bash at the Beach PPV.
Bischoff said he could give Diamond Dallas Page a rematch. He could give Booker T a title shot, since he had Goldberg beat until Jarrett interfeared. Or he could give a title match to Goldberg. Jarrett looked most terrified at the last idea. But Bischoff said he’d let everyone else figure it out. Tonight in the main event, it will be Booker T VS. DDP VS. Goldberg with the winner facing Jarrett at Bash at the Beach. Jarrett verbally protested to little effect as Bischoff left.
REY MISTERIO JR. VS. KONNAN
Rey Misterio finally got his one-on-one match with Konnan and made the most of it. Having to finally face Rey face-to-face, Konnan had little he could do against Rey and Misterio got the win to finally even the score with Konna.
Rey Misterio Jr. pinned Konnan with the Super Huracanrana in 0:09:03. Rating: **** ¼
In the back, Vince Russo was upset over the announced main event but he said he had other problems to deal with. He was putting a bounty on the head of Lance Storm. He wanted someone to step up and stop his winning streak. Mike Awesome was the first to step up and say he was the guy. Russo said good. He got the match.
CHRISTIAN YORK AND JOEY MATTHEWS VS. BILLY KIDMAN AND CHRIS KANYON
York and Matthews were a little bitter they took the loss at the Bash and took it out on Kidman and Kanyon. There was some great offensive maneuvers between all the men, but Matthews and York got the best of things, throwing Kidman over the top onto Kanyon on the floor, taking out both men.
Shannon Moore then ran down into the ring and went after York and Matthews for injuring his partner Shane Helms last night. But Moore was out-numbered and York and Matthews got the upperhand. However, coming down to even things up was the other member of 3 Count, Evan Karagais. He ran off York and Matthews and stood in the ring with his partner Moore.
Christian York and Joey Matthews defeated Billy Kidman and Chris Kanyon when York defeated Kanyon by disqualification in 0:11:28. Rating: ** 1/4 [Shannon Moore interfered against Christian York.]
Backstage, Awesome is seemed attacking Lance Storm. Storm tries to fight back but Awesome ends up powerbombing him through a catering table. Awesome then leaves to go to the ring.
LANCE STORM VS. MIKE AWESOME
Awesome gets on the mic and calls out Storm. He asks if Storm is just a chicken that can’t come out and face him man-to-man. He then orders the ref to ring the bell and count Storm out. The bell rings and the referee begins to count, but the count is cut off by some familiar words coming over the loudspeakers:
“I’m Buff, I’m the Stuff and the Girls just can’t get enough”
Buff Bagwell comes out in his wrestling gear and has a mic. He says Storm can’t make it out here because Awesome cheap shotted him in the back. He then offered himself to take Storm’s place cause Bagwell owes Awesome an ass kicking.
Awesome waves him down and Bagwell charges and the two begin to fight. Awesome had the edge in size and strength, but Bagwell was determined. He had a chip on his shoulder ever since he got kicked out of the New Blood and wanted to take out some aggression on Awesome.
Awesome after a few minutes wanted no piece of Bagwell and left the ring and went to the back as the ref counted him out.
Buff Bagwell defeated Mike Awesome by countout in 0:03:52. Rating: ** (Lance Storm no-showed.)
SCOTT HALL VS. RIC FLAIR
Scott Hall got his chance to finally go after Flair. Sid and Lex Luger ran down when it looked like their partner in the Millionaire’s Club was in trouble, but Hall was able to fight them both off and get the pin.
Scott Hall pinned Ric Flair with the Outsiders Edge in 0:08:05. Rating: ** ¼
Sting came out to the ring and wasted no time in calling out Vampiro. Sting said he went through his new protégé and now he wanted Vampiro’s ass.
Vampiro and The Fallen Angel came out to the top of the stage and Vampiro asked Sting why. He said the last time they faced each other, Sting ended up on fire. Why would he want to put himself through that again? He went to say if Sting really wanted to expierence that kind of pain one more time there would be a time and place for it. But it wouldn’t be tonight.
Sting said oh yes it would and left the ring to charge up to the top of the stage. The Fallen Angel ran down to meet him and provided a nice road block to give Vampiro enough time to sneak into the back. Sting would hit the Angel with the Scorpion Death Drop and then began looking around to see where Vampiro ran off to.
THE TRIPLE THREAT VS. KRONIK AND SCOTT STEINER
The three New Blood members tried every cheap shot and dirty tactic in the book. After a while Chris Candido just snapped. Candido brought in a chair and just went crazy smacking all his opponents with the chair until the referee finally called for the DQ.
KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clark) and Scott Steiner defeated Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido and Shane Douglas) when S. Steiner defeated Candido by disqualification in 0:13:18. Rating: ***
As Kronik and Steiner retreated to the back, Candido called out to them. He told Kronik if they were real men he had a challenge. Next week, Candido and Bam Bam challenged Kronik for their world tag titles inside a steel cage. The New Blood huddled around each other before making a counter offer. They said they’ll accept the challenge, only if Douglas gives Steiner another shot at the US Title. Douglas quickly accepted.
TRIANGLE MATCH BOOKER T VS. DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE VS. GOLDBERG
A world title shot is usually enough fuel to start the fire in the match. Throw in the hatred between Booker T and Goldberg, and the fire in Page’s eyes to get another shot at Jarrett and you had an all out brawl.
No one man had the advantage for too long of time before someone else came and took it away. Goldberg hit the spear on Booker T driving him out of the ring, but Page was there to hit Goldberg with the Diamond Cutter.
Page was set to get the pin, but Jarrett and Russo ran down the ring to prevent it. Jarrett slid into the ring and smashed a guitar over Page’s head. Booker tried to crawl back into the ring, but Russo pulled out yet another guitar from under the ring and handed it to Jarrett who smashed Booker with it. The cameras faded out as Jarrett stood among the carnage in the ring.
Triangle Match: Diamond Dallas Page defeated Booker T and Bill Goldberg when Page defeated Goldberg by disqualification in 0:17:29. Rating: *** 3/4 Card rating: *** 1/2

THUNDER (June 14, 2000)
Mike Sanders brought out the Natural Born Thrillers to start the show. Sanders invited the TV Champ, Elix Skipper to the ring. Skipper came but was hesitant to get in the ring against the four of them. Sanders said don’t worry nothing will happen to him, yet.
Sanders called Skipper’s win against Chuck Palumbo at the Bash lucky, and asked if he could get lucky again. Skipper replied by saying he could beat any of “you chumps” any time, but what made any of them worthy of a title shot.
Sanders said the only way he’s walking out of this ring right now is if he agrees to face him for the title tonight. Skipper said if he wants a match, he’s got it. Sanders then said he lied about Skipper being able to walk out of this ring and went to punch him, but Skipper blocked and got a few shots in before the rest of the Thrillers jumped him. They beat him down and Sanders said he’ll see him tonight.
HARDCORE TITLE MATCH TOO COLD SCORPIO VS. NORMAN SMILEY
Too Cold Scorpio faced the former champ Norman Smiley and Smiley looked like he was about to end Scorpio’s win streak and win the belt back. But Smiley insisted in doing the Big Wiggle instead on pinning Scorpio and gave the champ the chance to smash Smiley with a kendo stick. Smiley was down and Scorpio nailed the Scorpio splash to get the win.
No-Countout-No-DQ Match: Too Cold Scorpio beat Norman Smiley via the Flying Scorpio Splash in 0:13:43 (Too Cold Scorpio retained the WCW HARDCORE TITLE.)
BIG VITO VS. JOHNNY THE BULL
Vito broke off their partnership cause he thought the Bull kept costing him victories. Johnny was out for revenge, but Vito made sure he showed who really carried the team. He picked up the win rather easily.
Big Vito pinned Johnny the Bull with the Code of Silence in 0:11:25. Rating: ** 1/4
ERNEST MILLER VS. SHAWN STASIAK
The Cat threw out an open challenge for any member of the New Blood to a match and it was answered by Shawn Stasiak. I don’t know if The Cat really thought he’d get him alone, but he didn’t. Stasiak pulled the ref aside so he couldn’t see the Wall slide into the ring and choke slam the cat. Stasiak followed up with a neckbreaker and got the pin.
Shawn Stasiak pinned Ernest Miller with the Hangman Neckbreaker in 0:12:59. Rating: ***
TV TITLE MATCH ELIX SKIPPER VS. MIKE SANDERS
Sanders thought he’d significantly worn down Skipper with his attack earlier in the night. And for a good part of the match it seemed like his strategy had paid off. But Skipper showed the heart of a champion with a gutsy performance that ended with him catching Sanders with his Sudden Death move and getting the pin.
Elix Skipper pinned Mike Sanders with the Sudden Death in 0:15:14. Rating: *** 1/4 (Elix Skipper retained the WCW WORLD TELEVISION TITLE.)
Of course this didn’t sit well with the rest of the Thrilles. Palumbo ran into the ring and hit the champ with a jungle kick and all four pounced on the fallen champ. O’Haire would hit a SeanTon Bomb and all four would stand with their hands raised in the ring over the fallen champion as the show faded out.

GAB:
Quite the win for Elix Skipper, especially taking out all of the NBT.
Scorpio is one of my favorite guys you have on your roster. Glad to see his push is continuing. I wonder where you will take him after the Hardcore Title? Hopefully he doesn't get stuck in that division forever.
Bigelow and Candido would be fun as tag champs, but KroniK retaining was probably the right choice at this point.
Good to see Christopher Daniels could pull out a *** match with Sting! Shows Sting can still go when he wants to.
Surprised both heels went over in the dual main events. The build was correct for both Goldberg and Jarrett going over, but I am looking forward to seeing who is next in line for Jarrett. It almost feels like it should be Goldberg, but I don't know if you will turn him back face this fast.

Nitro:
Triple Threat match for the World Title shot? Very interested to see who comes out on top here.
Nice way to get around the no-show of Storm.
That's crazy that Bagwell sent Awesome running from the ring. Never thought I'd see that. Giving Bagwell more of a badass persona might actually make me care about him more. I'm not a Bagwell fan, but you could actually make me interested in him.
I'm still hoping that you come up with something good for the Millionaire's Club or at least the members of it break off and get involved in something.
Candido going nuts was a fun read. Didn't expect him to be the one nailing people with chairs.
No finish to the main event...hmm..maybe a four corners match is in the future? If so, I think it's a pretty good idea as it would use the same main eventers but freshen it up a bit.
Thunder:
I like what you've done with Thunder so far. It has a lot of the guys that don't get much air time on here, and they are involved in their own feuds.

Josh you been reading my booking sheets? lol. Scorpio got something coming up this week on Thunder. As for the Millionaire's, well most of their contracts are up. I might keep one or two around for something I got in mind.

MONDAY NITRO (June 19, 2000)
WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES STEEL CAGE MATCH KRONIK VS. THE TRIPLE THREAT
Nitro opens this week with the cage match for the world tag team titles. Chris Candido was by far the smallest man in this match, but showed maybe the most amount of heart. He was on a mission to win the belts for him and Bam Bam. After a while though the size factor caught up with him and Kronik went to work. However, he changed the match around when Adams had him set up on the top rope for a superplex.
Candido fought him off, slammed his head off the cage and then threw him to the mat. He then lept off and missle dropkicked Brian Clark into the cage. He made the tag to Bam Bam and he came in and cleaned house.
With the cage in place, no other New Blood could run down to interfere. This left Kronik at the mercy of the Triple Threat. Bam Bam connected with the Greetings from Asbury Park. 3 seconds later, we have new world tag team champions!!!
Cage Match: Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido) defeated KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clark) when Bigelow pinned B. Adams with the Greetings from Asbury Park in 0:13:16. Rating: *** 1/2 (Triple Threat won the WCW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES.)
After commercial, Eric Bischoff came out and called out Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett came out along with Vince Russo and his personal bodyguard Goldberg. Bischoff said he’s glad Goldberg came along because this affects him too. Last week there was a 3 way match to decide Jarrett’s opponent at Bash at the Beach, but Jarrett felt the need to come down and start smashing everyone with guitars. Therefore there was no winner.
Jarrett had a smug look on his facing, saying that’s right cause he’s the Chosen One. But Bischoff continued. Since there was no clear winner, the only fair thing is to give all of them the match at Bash at the Beach. It will be Jeff Jarrett defending the World Heavyweight Title against Booker T, and Diamond Dallas Page … And GOLDBERG!!!
Jarrett threw a fit, saying you can’t do that to him, Goldberg is on his side. He can’t fight him. Goldberg meanwhile had a sly smile cross his face. Bischoff left and Jarrett went over to Goldberg saying, ‘You can’t be in that match, you’re on my side.’ Goldberg just shrugged his shoulders and left the ring.
Vince Russo jumped on the mic and told Bischoff, since he used his booking power for the PPV, he was using his to make tonight’s main event. It will be a handicap match, Booker T and DDP against Jarrett, The Wall and Shawn Stasiak.
CHRISTIAN YORK AND JOEY MATTHEWS VS. SHANNON MOORE AND EVAN KARAGIAS
With Shane Helms still nursing his arm injury, Evan Karagias stood by Moore’s side against York and Matthews. So we thought. Karagias turned his back on his partner and let York and Matthews beat him. After the match, Karagias joined in a 3-on-1 beating of Moore.
Christian York and Joey Matthews defeated 3 Count (Evan Karagias and Shannon Moore) when J. Matthews pinned S. Moore after a reverse neckbreaker in 0:05:38. Rating: * ¾
Scott Steiner came to the ring and called out Shane Douglas. He reminded Douglas that the other part of their deal was that Douglas owed Steiner a U.S. Title match. He didn’t want it tonight or even next week. He wanted to wait until Bash at the Beach to let Douglas spend the next few weeks trembling in fear.
Douglas said now or at the PPV, it didn’t matter. Steiner was never going to beat him and take his title. Steiner went to throw a punch at Douglas but the Franchise blocked it and came back with one of his own. The two began to brawl until they were broken up by officials.
MIKE AWESOME VS. BUFF BAGWELL
Mike Awesome called out Buff saying last week he caught him off guard cause he wasn’t expecting him. Tonight if he had any stones, he’d come into this ring and face him man to man.
Bagwell wasted no time rushing the ring and started brawling with Awesome. Turned out not to be the best idea in the world as Awesome was bigger and stronger. Awesome used power moves to control the match, but Bagwell was able to fight off Awesome long enough to hit a Blockbuster and get a surprise pin.
Buff Bagwell pinned Mike Awesome with the Buff Blockbuster in 0:11:06. Rating: **
After the match though Awesome went right back to the attack of Bagwell. He hit an Awesome bomb and was setting him up for another when Lance Storm ran out of the back to make the save. Storm was still bandaged up from Awesome’s assault of him last week. But he came running down, chair in hand, to run off Awesome.
Bagwell was helped to the back by medical personnel following the Awesome bomb. Storm walked behind, but as he was getting towards the lockerroom, from behind ran out Konnan to blindside Storm. He smashed him into part of the stage before locking in the Tequilla Sunrise until security came to break him away.
VAMPIRO VS. DISCO INFERNO
This was basically a squash match with Vampiro dominating Disco. The Fallen Angel was at his side, but his assistance wasn’t needed as Vampiro sent a message to Sting.
Vampiro pinned Disco Inferno with the Vampiro Spike in 0:07:29. Rating: ** ¼
Vampiro continued beating down Disco after the match while The Fallen Angel took the mic. He called out Sting and told him to look at what was happening. Did Sting really want to face this man Vampiro and be his next victim?
Apparently Sting was listening and had a quick answer as the lights flickered and Sting’s music played. Sting ran down to the ring and Vampiro and the Angel fled the ring and ran to the back.
HARDCORE MATCH BIG VITO VS. TERRY FUNK
Big Vito faced off with the legend Terry Funk in a hardcore match. Both got some good shots in with various weapons but it was Vito getting the win at the end.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Big Vito pinned Terry Funk with the Code of Silence in 0:12:55. Rating: ** 3/4
Vito grabbed a mic after the match and said he saw what was going on. Management is trying to pigeon hole him as a hardcore guy. Which he is, but he shouldn’t be relegated to the hardcore division. Could he go on and win the hardcore title, yes. But does he want to, no. He is now on a mission to go through some of the favored sons of management to show he’s more then just hardcore, he’s a serious threat to every single title in WCW.
HANDICAP MATCH THE NEW BLOOD VS. BOOKER T AND DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE
Jarrett was content with letting his partners get in first with Booker and Page and the two faces were able to take early control. Jarrett though took advantage of an opportunity to turn the match around. Booker had the Wall and Stasiak both outside and then slingshotted himself over the top rope crashing down on both men. But while Booker was getting up, Jarrett ran over, grabbed Booker’s head and rammed it right into the steel steps.
After that, Jarrett was more then happy to get involved in the match and get some shots in on Booker. Booker though got a counter in and hit the Book End. He couldn’t recover for a pin, but was able to make the hot tag to DDP who came in and cleaned house. Page would end the match by hitting Stasiak with the Diamond Cutter.
Handicap-Match: Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page defeated The New Blood (Jeff Jarrett, The Wall and Shawn Stasiak) when Page pinned Stasiak with the Diamond Cutter in 0:12:15. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match, Jarrett tried to get his guitar and sneak a hit on Page, but Booker caught him in time, ripped the guitar from his hands and smashed it over Jarrett’s head. Page and Booker celebrated in the ring, meanwhile, the camera showed Goldberg just standing at the top of the stage, observing everything that happened but making no moves, just standing with his arms crossed.

THUNDER (June 21, 2000)
The Natural Born Thrillers start the show in the ring and Mike Sanders starts going on about how their beatdown of Elix Skipper last week shows why they are the fastest rising stars in WCW.
Skipper comes out and tells him that one-on-one he could beat any of the four and it wouldn’t even be a contest. Sanders said that if the numbers are such a problem then do something about it. He just got a great idea for the main event tonight. He told Skipper to go find a partner and tonight they could face Jindrak and O’Haire in a tag match. Skipper agreed and told them he’ll see them later in the ring.
SHANNON MOORE VS. EVAN KARAGIAS
Shannon Moore wanted to go get some revenge of Evan Karagias for turning on him on Nitro. To no one’s surprise, York and Matthews got involved. Matthews distracted the ref while Christian York went into the ring and nailed Moore with a chair, leading to Karagias getting the pin.
Evan Karagias pinned Shannon Moore with the Outrageous Corkscrew in 0:12:46. Rating: *** 1/2
After the match all three ran in and started beating down Moore until Shane Helms made his return, running to the ring and cleaning house, knocking all three out of the ring.
After the ring was cleared, Johnny the Bull came to the ring with a mic. He began by stating the obvious that the Mamalukes were done. But he said all that means was he’s ready for the next chapter is his career. He is a former world tag team champion and looks forward to getting back to that level and he is looking for a new partner who he can climb the ladder with.
At the sound of this, Alex Wright came out. He brought up the 1930’s and how great of allies, Germany and Italy were. Together, they could rule the world much like their ancestors did back in the 30’s and 40’s.
The Bull seemed intrigued by the possibility, but then Lash LeRoux made his way to the ring. He told the Bull if he wanted a partner that could help him take the gold, he was the right choice. He said think about all the possibilities, The Cajun Mafia, future world tag team champions.
Johnny said the only fair way to handle this was to let them two fight and the winner would be his new partner.
LASH LEROUX VS. ALEX WRIGHT
Alex Wright jumped the gun and went right at LeRoux to start this impromptu match. But the advantage didn’t last long as LeRoux was able to mount a rally and got the pin.
Lash LeRoux pinned Alex Wright with the Whiplash in 0:07:07. Rating: ** ¾
After the match, Johnny the Bull entered the ring and shook hands with LeRoux and apparently, the Cajun Mafia was born.
Backstage, Elix Skipper knocked on a lockerroom door, opening up was hardcore champion, Too Cold Scorpio. Skipper laid things out for him. He needed a partner, someone he could trust and count on. He said someone needed to stand up to the Thrillers and asked Scorpio if he would be his partner. Scorpio said that if he needed a partner, he got one. He’ll have his back.
JUVENTUD VS. CHAVO GUERRERO JR.
A typical lucha match. High Flying action back and fourth, a lot of spots. Juventud took advantage of a missed splash by Chavo and followed up with a 450 splash of his own to get the pin.
Juventud defeated Chavo Guerrero Jr. with the 450 splash in 0:10:34. Rating: ** ¾
SEAN O’HAIRE AND MARK JINDRAK VS. ELIX SKIPPER AND TOO COLD SCORPIO
I don’t know if the Thrillers were expecting Skipper to find someone the caliber of Scorpio, but they seemed to be caught off guard when Skipper and Scorpio went right at them.
But while Sanders promised Skipper a tag team match, he never said anything about him and Palumbo staying out of it. He tried to run down but Scorpio caught him coming down and tried to fight him off. O’Haire ran over and pulled Scorpio off his leader. While the referee was trying to break up that mess, Palumbo ran in and gave the Jungle Kick to Skipper. Jindrak followed up with a suplex, the ref came back in and counted the pin.
Sean O'Haire and Mark Jindrak defeated Elix Skipper and Too Cold Scorpio when Jindrak pinned Prime Time after a T-Bone Suplex in 0:19:55. Rating: ***
After the match, all four Thrillers continued to beat down both Skipper and Scorpio as cameras faded out.

You gave me a happy moment when Candido and Bigelow won the tag titles.
I'm glad you went with the four corners match. It's a fun way to freshen things up without definitely turning Goldberg back face.
Interesting to see Karagias join sides with Matthews and York. I didn't see the turn coming, but if I had, I would have thought Moore would have been the one to make the switch. Leaves me wondering what will happen when Helms returns.
Just read Thunder, and it looks like Helms will stick with Moore. Should be a fun series of matches.

MONDAY NITRO (June 26, 2000)
The World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett stormed to the ring. No Vince Russo by his side, no New Blood, just Jarrett and a guitar. Jarrett gets on the mic and proceeds to call out Goldberg. He told him that he paid him a ton of money to be his bodyguard and to watch his back. Last week, Goldberg just stood back and watched while Booker T and DDP double teamed him. He closed by saying that’s not what he paid him for.
Goldberg came down the ring and got right in Jarrett’s face. He wanted to get things straight. Goldberg said he accepted Jarrett’s deal and came back to WCW cause he was after two things. 1. Fame and 2. Fortune. As lucrative as Jarrett’s deal is, there is no greater fame then to hold the World Heavyweight Title. And if Jarrett wanted his money back, well, he could try to take it from him.
To Jarrett’s credit, he didn’t back down. He informed Goldberg, that THE boss of WCW, Vince Russo had booked him into the main event against Diamond Dallas Page. He finished by telling Goldberg if he still wanted a job, he better do the right thing.
Jarrett went to leave, but Goldberg grabbed him by the shoulder, spinning him back around and told him, it’ll be pretty hard to fire him, when he takes the World Title at Bash at the Beach.
REY MISTERIO JR. VS. YANG
Some good spots throughout the match. Yang got in a few good moves, but the majority of the match belong to Misterio who ended up putting him away for the win.
Rey Misterio Jr. pinned Yang after a springboard rana in 0:13:52. Rating: ***
After the match, while Rey stood with his arm raised, Big Vito came in to the ring and attacked him from behind. Misterio tried to counter, but Vito left him laying in the middle of the ring. He then took a mic. Vito said he warned everybody last week. He was tired of being considered a tag team guy, or a hardcore guy. He wanted to show he was a threat to everyone and he just made an example out of Rey Misterio, to show how big of a threat he could be.
In the back, Russo was in his office as Kronik came in. Russo let them know he wasn’t pleased they lost the belts last week. He was going to give them one more chance to get on his good side. He needed to clear out some dead weight so he was booking Kronik against Ric Flair and Sid Vicious with the loser of the match fired. If Kronik won, he’d get them a title rematch. But he told them don’t let him down again. Two dinosaurs had no business still being around so they better do the job.
LANCE STORM VS. MIKE AWESOME
Lance Storm finally he got a chance at Mike Awesome, and Mike Awesome got his shot to try to claim the bounty Russo put on Storm’s undefeated streak. Awesome had the Wall and Shawn Stasiak come down to stand at ringside, but right when they tried to get involved, Buff Bagwell ran down with a steel chair, chasing both all the way to the back, giving Storm a real one-on-one match. Without his backup, Awesome couldn’t do much and Storm made him submit to the Maple Leaf.
Lance Storm made Mike Awesome submit to the Canadian Maple Leaf in 0:15:10. Rating: ***
After the match though, Konnan made another appearance attacking Storm from behind. He locked Storm in the Tequilla Sunrise and refused to let go until security pulled him off.
Konnan then spoke saying he wasn’t new blood, he was his own man. But if someone is going to put a bounty on someone’s head, he’s going to go after it.
SCOTT STEINER VS. ERNEST MILLER
Steiner was eager to make an example of Miller to Shane Douglas. The Franchise sat the broadcast booth providing commentary. Steiner though took it upon himself to leave the ring mid-match and smack Douglas in the face. This drew Douglas over the table and he tried to go after Steiner. While the ref tried to subdue Douglas and escorting him to the back, Steiner pulled out a lead pipe from under the ring and nailed the Cat with it. When the ref came back he pinned Cat.
Scott Steiner pinned Ernest Miller after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:11:18. Rating: **
Steiner then continued to beat down Miller, getting the pipe and using it in a version of the Steiner Recliner. All the time he kept shouting at Douglas “This is going to be you Shane”. Douglas charged back to the ring but Steiner ducked out and went to the back.
EVAN KARGIAS VS. NORMAN SMILEY
This became a squash match as Karagias was too quick for Smiley. He got an easy pin and then proceeded to get on the mic and called out his former partners.
Evan Karagias pinned Norman Smiley with the Outrageous Corkscrew in 0:08:17. Rating: *** ½
Karagias said it became obvious to him over the past few weeks that he made a mistake. He brought in Helms and Moore, when he should’ve brought in York and Matthews all along. Moore and Helms came out at the top of the stage and defended theirselves, but it turned out to all just be a set up. Matthews and York came from behind and attacked Moore and Helms. They decimated the two, hitting piledrivers on both on the stage.
Backstage, Flair came up to Lex Luger. Flair asked for his help. Sid ducked out and he needed a partner for their match. Luger said he knows whats at stake in the match and he’s not putting his career on the line. Flair agreed to allow Luger out of the stipulation and it will only be Flair’s job on the line.
LOSER GETS FIRED KRONIK VS. RIC FLAIR & SID VICIOUS
Flair came out with a fire we haven’t seen from him in years. Even Luger showed some passion as he was fighting for Flair’s job. Kronik though was just too much for them. Clark beatdown Luger outside while Adams hit Flair with a slam and got the pin.
KroniK (Brian Adams and Bryan Clark) defeated The Millionaires Club (Lex Luger and Ric Flair) when B. Adams pinned R. Flair with the Full Nelson Slam in 0:09:04. Rating: * 1/2 (Sid Vicious no-showed.)
After the match, Kronik went to the back. Luger got in the ring and picked Flair up. He shook his hand and said he’s sorry. Flair told him don’t worry. He’s the dirtiest player in the game and you can’t get rid of him that easy. He’ll be back.
Then of all people, Sting came out to the ring. He gave Luger a little head-nod then went over to Flair and gave a hug to his old rival.
The lights flickered and then went out. When they came back on, Vampiro was up on the video board. He and the Fallen Angel were in a grave yard. Vampiro said to Sting, that he won’t be missing his old friend too long. Soon he will be joining him in the retirement home. But it won’t be cause of any stipulation in a match. It will be cause Vampiro will meet him at the Bash at the Beach, and he will finish what he started a few months ago. He was going to end Sting’s career the old fashioned way, by beating him into forced retirement. He will destroy Sting.
GOLDBERG VS. DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE
There was nothing fancy, nothing technical. This was a pure brawl. These men comprised one half of the 4-way title match at Bash at the Beach and they both seemed intent on making sure the other was as beaten down as possible going into the match.
Jeff Jarrett and his guitar made an appearance at ringside. Don’t know what he was planning to do because as soon as he came down, Booker T ran down to join him and the two started going at it on the floor.
Meanwhile in the ring, Goldberg caught DDP with a spear and a jackhammer and got the win.
Bill Goldberg pinned Diamond Dallas Page with the Jackhammer in 0:11:03. Rating: ** ½
After the match was officially over, Jarrett lowblowed Booker T to get away from him and he crawled into the ring and started stomping on DDP. He yelled at Goldberg “Let’s get these two out of the way and then go after the title me against you as men. Booker tried crawling into the ring and Goldberg seemed to agree with Jarrett’s deal and started attacking Booker T. Jarrett hit DDP with the stroke and Goldberg speared and jackhammered Booker T.
Jarrett and Goldberg stood over the two faces with their hands raised in the air. Jarrett then took a step back and from behind low-blowed Goldberg. Jarrett then grabbed his guitar and as Goldberg mouthed an expletive at Jarrett, the champ smashed the guitar over Goldberg’s head. Jarrett stood over all the carnage and then went into Goldberg’s face saying “I’m the chosen one. Not you. Me!!”

Kind of an anticlimacitc end for Flair. Im assuming he put in his notice? I like though the line you gave him though that leaves the door open for a return down the line.
And man, What is Jarrett thinking going after Goldberg

THUNDER (June 28, 2000)
Elix Skipper and Too Cold Scorpio made their way to the ring with pissed off looks on their faces. Skipper took the mic and started talking to the Natural Born Thrillers. He said he has a lot in common with them. They’re all young guys trying to make a name for themselves. But he’s doing it the right way. He’s been busting his ass and taking out everyone in the ring. Not gang warfare jumping people from behind.
Too Cold then spoke next, saying he saw the plight Skipper was going through and wanted to stand up for what was right. Now they want another shot at the Thrillers. They want them all. They don’t care if the numbers are against them, they want all the Thrillers in the ring tonight and they’ll go through them all.
ERNEST MILLER VS THE WALL
The Cat came out and challenged any New Blood member to come to the ring right now and face him. The Wall was the one to answer the challenge. Wall tried to go for the power game but Cat was able to use some kicks to keep him off.
Mike Awesome and Shawn Stasiak tried to come assist the Wall, but Buff Bagwell and a chair proved to be the equalizer. He kept the other members at bay while the Cat picked up the win.
Ernest Miller made The Wall submit to a Fujiwara armbar in 0:11:40. Rating: * ½
CHRISTIAN YORK AND JOEY MATTHEWS VS. 3 COUNT
You could just tell something was off with 3 Count. Most likely due to the beating they got on Nitro from the same two men they faced tonight. Helms and Moore missed a lot of moves. A lot of the flying offense they’ve been known for, just wasn’t connecting and York and Matthews picked up the win.
Christian York and Joey Matthews defeated 3 Count (Shane Helms and Shannon Moore) when York pinned Helms after a sitdown faceslam in 0:14:08. Rating: **
BIG VITO VS. JUVENTUD
Juventud came out and challenged Big Vito after Vito attacked his buddy Rey Misterio last week. Juventud got some early offense in with some quick moves, but a flying cross body got caught into a powerslam. This totally turned the match around and Vito got the win.
Big Vito pinned Juventud with the Code of Silence in 0:11:28. Rating: ***
The main event was up next and the Natural Born Thrillers came out very cocky. Sanders got the mic and asked for their opponents to come out to face them. He spoke to Skipper and said if this is what you want, you got it.
Skipper and Scorpio came out ready for battle, but before they got to the ring, they were interrupted by some new music we’ve never heard before. Then from the back came Lash LeRoux and Johnny the Bull. LeRoux came out with a mic.
“Too Cold and Elix, you got yourselves in a tough situation, but have no fear, the Cajun Mafia is here. We got your backs so let’s do this.”
Skipper and Scorpio nodded in approval and the handicap match just turned into an 8-man tag.
NATURAL BORN THRILLERS VS. ELIX SKIPPER, TOO COLD SCORPIO AND THE CAJUN MAFIA
The faces hit the ring and all eight men started going right at it with the Thrillers taking the worst of things. Sanders pulled his men together on the floor to regroup.
They soon took advantage when O’Haire caught LeRoux in an attempted Hurracanrana into a powerbomb. The Thrillers all went to work on LeRoux, but eventually he fought them off and made a hot tag to Skipper.
The TV Champ cleaned house and soon once again, all eight men were in the ring fighting. Most end up spilling to the outside and in the ring, Skipper caught Sanders with the Sudden Death to get the win for his team.
Lash LeRoux, Johnny the Bull, Too Cold Scorpio and Elix Skipper defeated Chuck Palumbo, Mark Jindrak, Mike Sanders and Sean O'Haire when Prime Time pinned Sanders with the Sudden Death in 0:13:56. Rating: *** 3/4

MONDAY NITRO (July 3, 2000)
The show opened with Jeff Jarrett in the locker room standing in front of the entire New Blood – Scott Steiner, Kronik, Mike Awesome, The Wall and Shawn Stasiak. Jarrett speaks on how he needs them now more then ever. His hired bodyguard, referring to Goldberg, has turned his back on him. Worse yet, he got booked in a tag match against Booker T and DDP tonight, with the turncoat Goldberg as his partner. Now he needs his brothers, the New Blood to stand by his side now more then ever. He knows they all have their own personal battles, but he needs them by his side to make sure he remains WCW World Heavyweight Champion.
WORLD TAG TITLES TRIPLE THREAT VS. CHRISTIAN YORK AND JOEY MATTHEWS
One week before they’re supposed to defend their newly won tag titles against former champs Kronik, Vince Russo booked Chris Candido and Bam Bam Bigelow in a title “tune up” match against Christian York and Joey Matthews.
York and Matthews have been on a hot streak lately using less then ethical means. However, their arch rivals, Shane Helms and Shannon Moore came to make sure they didn’t cheat their way to a championship. As Evan Karagias came down to presumably aid the challengers, Helms and Moore ran down to take out Karagias. Matthews left the ring apron to go fight to help Karagais, but that left his partner all alone in the ring. Candido took advantage and got the pin after a flying headbutt.
Triple Threat (Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido) defeated Christian York and Joey Matthews when Candido pinned York after a flying headbutt in 0:07:16. Rating: *** 3/4 (Triple Threat retained the WCW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES.)
After the match though, while the champs were celebrating their win, Kronik ran down and blindsided them. They knocked Bigelow out of the ring and then hit High Times on Candido.
Shane Douglas ran down to help his stablemates, but Kronik was able to overwhelm him. In addition, Scott Steiner arrived in the ring, lead pipe in hand and joined in a beatdown of Douglas. As The Franchise was laying their nearly unconscious, Steiner told Douglas, that on the authority of Vince Russo, Douglas was going to be in a warm-up match right now. It will be a tables match against The Wall. But don’t worry, the US Title won’t be on the line. That will be Steiner’s on Sunday.
TABLE MATCH SHANE DOUGLAS VS. THE WALL
The Wall came right down to the ring carrying his table. He slid it into the ring and then began to beat on Douglas. After a few minutes of Douglas being totally dominated, the Wall set him up for a chokeslam through the table. Douglas though had enough energy to break it up by kicking Wall in the nards. He then whipped Wall into the ropes and then caught him with a belly-to-belly through the table.
Table Match: Shane Douglas defeated The Wall by putting him through a table in 0:06:10. Rating: 1/4*
As soon as the match ended, Steiner re-entered the ring and started wacking away on Douglas with his lead pipe. Steiner finally gave up and went to the back.
BIG VITO VS. BILLY KIDMAN
Vito wanted to get some practice against a high-flyer going into his match at the PPV against Rey Misterio. That, and the fact as he said, he wanted to show that he could beat anybody, no matter how big or how small.
Kidman was able to get a few moves in, hitting Vito with some dropkicks, but overall, this was basically a squash. Vito really impressed with a dominant victory over Kidman.
Big Vito pinned Billy Kidman with the Code of Silence in 0:07:21. Rating: ** ¾
STING VS. THE FALLEN ANGEL
Vampiro sent out the Fallen Angel to face Sting, hoping he could ware him down before their match at the Bash at the Beach. The plan seeming to work for a bit as the Angel took control early on when Sting missed a Stinger Splash outside and crashed into the ring post.
The Angel was able to capitalize for a while, but Sting mounted a comeback and went on to pick up the win.
Sting pinned The Fallen Angel with the Scorpion Death Drop in 0:13:38. Rating: *** ¼
After the match, the lights went out. Vampiro came down the stage holding a mic in one hand and a lit torch in the other. He reminded Sting about how it wasn’t so long ago, he sent him crashing through the fire. He said that is going to feel like a day at Disneyland compared to what is going to happen on Sunday.
MIKE AWESOME AND SHAWN STASIAK VS. ERNEST MILLER AND BUFF BAGWELL
Buff and The Cat were both full of passion to go after the two New Blood members. The match was a pure brawl. Nothing technical or scientific about it.
The ref took a bump as Bagwell was going for the Blockbuster on Stasiak, but Stasiak moved the ref into the way and he took the hit. This cued the weapons to come into play.
The Wall staggered down to the ring, still hurting from going through a table earlier. But he provided a lift to his stablemates. Still, Buff and Cat put up a good fight in what became a handicap match.
Eventually the ref came too and when he did, he saw Bagwell and Stasiak standing toe-to-toe in the middle of the ring exchanging chair shots. He called for the DQ on both teams.
Mike Awesome and Shawn Stasiak and Ernest Miller and Buff Bagwell battled to a double disqualification in 0:12:28. Rating: ** ¾
The fight still continued but the numbers advantage was on the New Blood side and they ended up leaving Buff and Cat laying.
After a commercial break, Buff and Cat were walking around the backstage area. They were talking about needing to find a third man to go against the New Blood at the PPV on Sunday. They said they needed someone crazy. Somebody willing to take any kinda risk to hurt their opponents. They couldn’t think of a good partner, when all of a sudden they stopped. Sitting on the side spitting tobacco in an empty beer bottle was Terry Funk. Buff and Cat smiled, saying they found their guy.
BOOKER T AND DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE VS. JEFF JARRETT AND GOLDBERG
All four men would meet with the title on the line at the Bash, tonight they met in a tag match for nothing more than bragging rights. No one seemed to care as before the match even started they all started brawling out on the floor.
Finally the action got into the ring. Jarrett and Goldberg were far from being on the same page though. At one point, Booker T was knocked outside and Goldberg speared Page and was set to put him away with the Jackhammer. Jarrett came to stop him saying “You’re not going to win this, I’m going to win this.” Goldberg responded by clotheslining Jarrett over the top rope.
Jarrett grabbed his guitar came back in and smashed it over Goldberg’s head. Booker had snuck back in the ring and Goldberg stumbled right into a Book End. Booker got the pin and the win.
Booker T and Diamond Dallas Page defeated Bill Goldberg and Jeff Jarrett when Booker pinned Goldberg with the Book End in 0:11:33. Rating: *** ½
After the match though, Jarrett continued to assault everybody. Page recovered and pulled Jarrett off of Booker, but by this time, the entire New Blood raced out of the back and filled up the ring. It turned into a gang beating on Booker, DDP AND Goldberg, but reinforcements were soon on the way. The Triple Threat all came down. Buff and Cat came down. Terry Funk even came down waiving a cowbell on a rope in the air.
It was anarchy in the ring. It looked like a battle royal, instead it was just an all out riot. Bodies were flying everywhere. Chairs were being tossed, punches were being thrown. The cameras ended up fading out in the middle of the brawl.
