Feedbackery!
Hot debut for Kendall Windham. I doubt he goes that far in the long run, but he's at least getting the chance to shine right off the bat with a Horseman. Side note, you signing Kendall ruins an angle I had planned. So, kudos.
The Midnight Express absolutely need Cornette. They are dull without him. At least until Eaton goes singles.
Good debut for the Southern Boys, and did not see a Race heel turn coming. This also might mean the Nightmare Squad goes on for a bit, which is good. I'm okay with Race still wrestling, and this keeps him well away from the main event.
Was surprised to see Hayes reveal his allegiance so soon, but I like it. And I like that Gordy is loyal to Hayes. I honestly think a new Freebirds with Hayes, Gordy, and Von Erich could be very cool, and a nice detour from history.
I like the Dream Team retaining. Road Warriors still looked strong, but they don't really need the titles as much as Beefcake and Hercules do. Plus, you can get more mileage out of this feud.
I'm interesting to see what you do with a VERY green Lex Luger. Like in this universe, these may be considered his first matches ever. We'll see if he gets exposed too much, but putting him with Graham is a good start. Plus, getting him with a worker like Orndorff can only help. I'm still leaning toward this being too early for Luger, but time will tell.
Wow. Love that intensity from Lawler. It's been said before, but even after a hiatus, this feud is still fucking great. It is going a long way to repair some of the damage from Lawler's lackluster World Title reigns and subsequent months of being in weaker feuds. If he keeps this up, he could get that high quality World Title reign.
The Ole/Hillbilly Jim segment was pure 80s delight. Corny as hell, but just a lot of good old-fashioned fun. You're doing a good job of building Hillbilly Jim into someone who eventually will become a wrestler, even though really, he's always going to be a novelty act. But he's a fun one, and would make perfect sense that he'd be Hogan's buddy. Also the atomic drop on the manager spot is always awesome.
Would have liked a little more from the main event, but you gotta keep it as a tease for the Hogan/Flair match which is where your money is right now. But you moved along the Savage/Hennig feud as well. I love how unstable Savage is. You can do almost anything with him and it would work at this point.
Onward!
