Has anyone ever thought about developing a chart of sorts which would give a debut year and retirement years for wrestlers? Not so much as for the different federations (I know that there are updates for WWE Raw, Smackdown, and TNA), but debut years in general. I thought that the updates should go more like a Strat-O-Matic like way in that a person could start a federation in a specific year, like 1985, and go from there. And then, as wrestlers retire, you could replace them as the updates come out. Just a thought.

I have a list I've made of debuts and retire dates for GCW OS so I know who I need to import when. It's not exact by any means, but I've found it a useful tool.

I've done this a number of times for circuits, with real and fake wrestlers. Now in my circuit, if a wrestler is on TV, he is active in my universe. Sometimes, I'll bend that universe and allow legends another chance at glory.

I think what I am trying to get at would be more illustrated by going to this web site for a Basketball sim: home.comcast.net/~ubabasketball/There, they have downloads of seasons starting with the 1973/74 season. There after, you can download the next season and so on. This is what I mean by having updates done by years. I do like mixing the vets with the more update guys as well. |
