NAWA Blinded By Fury 2007-February 13th 2007.
Hype for tonight with our huge three main event matches, first Ron Killings takes on the 2007 Luck of the Draw Winner Harry Harris in a No Disqualification Match. Miles Stylish has vowed the Gambler will not be walking out tonight as those two NAWA competitors go head to head. And in the main event, Sederick Skyhawk has vowed to be the spoiler, not to be the afterthought but the only thought. His quest for the gold comes tonight in the main event, with The NAWA Television Champion challenging the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart. Skyhawk’s first Pay Per View main event, and he’s determined.
In the Cruiser Cup Tournament, Tyler Black beat Jack Evans, Kid Kash beat Naruki Doi, Low Ki beat Jigsaw, and El Generico beat Curry Man. Tonight the semifinals kick things off live on NAWA Pay Per View.

Black does an insane celebration as he goes into the fans to celebrate. Candace looks beside herself and Tomko messages his injured jaw. Kash is still glassy eyed from that superkick in the ring. We see some replays before we go into the next match.

Candace enters the ring and bitches Stasiak out for playing around. Stasiak yells he thought he had it and Candace slaps him so hard she breaks a nail. That really pisses the woman off. Styles got the win tonight and may move up the ranks into title contention with a few more. Perhaps he is going for the NAWA Television Championship or maybe the International or even World Titles down the road. Styles has never held championship gold in the NAWA, despite being here for five years so you would think that would be on his list.

It might be only a matter of time before we see championship gold around his waist, but there are so many impressive competitors vying for gold. Competition in the New Age Wrestling Alliance is hotter than ever, and this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Nigel McGuinness.

Ron Killings is on his cell phone, trying to get in touch with Larry Sweeney, his agent, who has left. Killings says he’s not picking up his cell phone. He runs into Tomko, and greets him, asking if he wants to make some little extra green tonight. Tomko says Killings is speaking his language. Killings says he needs someone out there to watch his back, so Harry Harris doesn’t pull a fast one on him. He says Harry Harris is slicker than a “weasel in a butter factory, if you know what I’m saying.” Killings and Tomko walk off to talk shop.
At that moment, Shawn Stasiak peers from behind a stack of crates, and mutters “Candace, isn’t going to like Tomko taking on freelance projects.” He nearly trips over a bucket, and a mop.
We are back, as Jerry Lynn is in the ring. Lynn says that he’s been disrespected for the final time, and tonight, he’s going to put the NAWA International Championship on the line against any former World Champion in the world. “Hail to the Chief” kicks up, and out comes…Bob Backlund?

Instead, Backlund offers another hand shake, and he raises Lynn’s arm, before presenting him with the belt. They leave the ring together. The camera cannot quite pick up what they are saying, but I’m sure we might see more between Bob Backlund and Jerry Lynn all too soon.

Harris says that Killings seems to be obsessed with beating him, or perhaps he’s obsessed with his own inability to get even close to winning the NAWA World Championship.
Killings yells that’s hearsay and slander and it’s also a mistruth. He says that if Harris had balls, he’d put the championship match on the line in this no disqualification match. Recap of the most recent events in the long term bad blood involving Miles Stylish and the Gambler, where the rivalry that has been going on and off since 2003, has kicked back up after Luck of the Draw, where Stylish blamed the Gambler for costing him the match. Stylish vows to put the Gambler down for good, not only beating him, but eliminating him from the New Age Wrestling Alliance for good. The Gambler wants to prove that he is good enough to hang in the main event tier for good, and a decisive win over a Miles Stylish who is more dangerous than ever would prove that.
Kurt Angle makes his way down to take the third headset at the commentary booth. He says that he’s looking forward to this one, as it will be an important match in the rankings for the NAWA World Title. He says he has his sights on that particular belt, but there are eight or ten other competitors who have their eyes on it to, and that’s just off of the top of his head. Angle sits back to offer some expert analysis and to watch the climax of a feud that’s been brewing on and off for nearly four long years between the Gambler and Miles Stylish.
The Gambler vs. Miles Stylish.
Stylish offers a few seconds to intensely glare at Kurt Angle, based off of Angle beating him a couple of months ago at StarClash 06, and the Gambler gains an early advantage. Stylish fights back, and manages to have an answer to most of the Gambler’s offense. Stylish has scouted his opponent well, being a student of the game, but his own ego may outstrip his own skill at times, as he knocks the Gambler to the floor. Stylish goes for a rana off of the apron, but the Gambler counters with a swinging power bomb into the guardrail!

STLYISH SLAPS ANGLE SO HARD THAT HE KNOCKS THE HEADSET OFF! The fans are going absolutely insane, as Angle and Stylish start to brawl with each other, going around the ringside area with stiff punches and forearms.
Larry Sweeney is back with security. Sweeney says that Miles Stylish has been suspended for thirty days without pay for striking Kurt Angle, who was out here as a commentary. Stylish calls Sweeney a son of a bitch, and goes after him. Sweeney says if Stylish touches him, he’ll up it to sixty days and he’ll be barred from ever getting an NAWA World Championship match again. For now, Stylish can just cool off for thirty days, and when he returns, he’ll be at the bottom of the championship rankings. Angle clutches his head, demanding for security to let Stylish go, but Sweeney tells Angle to let it go. Angle walks off, as the announcers talk about this intense situation.
The next time NAWA will be on Pay Per View will be Reality Check 2007 on March 25th 2007, with Harry Harris getting his NAWA World Title Shot in the same building where he suffered a neck injury that put on the shelf for ten months of his career.
