NAWA Glory 2/24/07
Tonight the New Age Wrestling Alliance is live and in living color for NAWA Glory, featuring the Gambler going one on one on one with Samoa Joe. Plus the NAWA Television Champion Sederick Skyhawk puts his belt on the line against Jerry Lynn, and so much more.
Larry Sweeney is out to talk about the end of the show last week, before he introduces Awesome Kong, Ron Killings, and the Rottweilers. Awesome Kong has the NAWA Women’s Championship draped over her shoulder, Low-Ki and Homicide have the NAWA Tag Team titles, along with the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Belt of Homicide’s. Also, Ron Killings has the NAWA World Championship Belt held by Teddy Hart that he stole one week ago, along with Kurt Angle’s Olympic Gold Medals.
Sweeney puts them all over as top line superstars. The Rottweilers are the best tag team in wrestling today. Awesome Kong is the best women’s competitor in the world, and Ron Killings is a main event star waiting to happen. He then switches to some news, saying that Abyss will be out the next three months. So his little issue with Samoa Joe will have to be shelved. However, Sweeney has an insurance policy coming tonight that will keep Joe more than occupied.
Also, Sweeney says the doctors have cleared Mia Stylish to wrestle, but she can’t just walk in off the street and get a title shot. She will have to earn one, starting tonight against Sara Del Rey. Sweeney looks pleased, but Ron Killings grabs the microphone. Killings brags about what happened last week, saying that he and the Rottweilers just punked out three of the top superstars in the company. Killings holds up the NAWA World Championship, and the Olympic Gold Medals he stole last week. Killings brags about punking Harris, Hart, and Angle out last week.
Speaking of the devils, out comes Harry Harris, Kurt Angle, and Teddy Hart. Kurt Angle says last week, he barely had anything to do with Ron Killings, and didn’t have any problem. Now the welts on his back is a reminder of who he is. Teddy Hart takes the microphone, and accuses Killings of trying to frame him by attacking Harry Harris. Killings says he’s a victim of circumstance, much like O.J. was. Killings states that Harry Harris has cheated to beat him every single time in the ring, and there’s a conspiracy to hold him back.
Harris cuts him off, saying that he doesn’t care about what cracked idea Killings has in his head. All he cares about his some payback. He suggests tonight, six man tag team action, with Kurt Angle, Teddy Hart, and Harry Harris against Ron Killings and the Rottweilers. Larry Sweeney agrees to that match, putting it over as a blockbuster six man tag team main event. The announcers hype up that match huge.
