Usually one of the best Raws of the year.
Sure we had some legends, even had New Age Outlaws in a match.....but I feel it didn't deliver because of the Wrestlemania hype.
I think this show would be better like around May.
Agree, disagree, discuss.

Agreed. These theme nights are perfect to get thru the post mania hump!

Agree as well. The build up for Mania should be more than enough to fill a show and bring in viewers without having to resort to special gimmicks like old school. With such a long gap between the major events , Wrestlemania-SummerSlam, Old School Raw would be perfect to use during that lull.

The dead crowd didn't help matters either.

Yeah, that crowd could not give a damn about ANYTHING.
Also, the "cameos" seemed forced and really out of place. Like the Honky Tonk Man? He had 7 seconds of airtime and Brodus Clay did his dancing better then he did

Honestly I don't get to watch WWE as much as any of you since I don't get the channel where I live, I have had the chance for the last two weeks to watch WWE & TNA but since this is the WWE portion of the board I will say this.
Leading up to this I didn't have a clue about storylines or anything but when I started to watch the Old School raw I was excited as I had a few expectations of what it could mean, to be honest I shut it off as i was disappointed with it... I agree with the fact that it should have been put on around Wrestlemania type of time as it would be a good way to perhaps push those who are being put into the WWE Hall Of Fame... I also agree that the crowd was dead and didn't really know what was going on.
The legends had there time, they help build some great companies but to bring them in like they did was a bad idea.
