This will take a TNM7 export file and create an appropriate '.wre' file for the wrestlers contained within. It still doesn't do everything perfectly, because TNM and AWE use slightly different computations with the push, workrate, etc. values, they will probably need some tweaking before use. That said, it's a pretty cool tool to have around regardless. This will spit out '.wre' files in the directory that you run it from, so you'll have to move them into your AWE/Imports/Wrestlers folder in order to import them into AWE. Download link: www.mediafire.com/?qc3kwpmk1xdep82EDIT: I added the bit reading ability a while back, but never updated this post to indicate that.

This is awesome! Didn't figure there would be a way to do this. This should help a ton.

I made an TNM export of 139 wrestlers, and when I try to import it, it spits out a text box with bits in it. 00001100000 and so on. Do I need to click OK on everyone? It's driving my girlfriend crazy

Hahaha, I forgot to turn off the bit debugging...shit.
The box was a debug option so I could see the bits that each export returned...it wasn't meant to be visible to you guys. I'll turn that off pronto and upload a new version here in about 10 minutes. Sorry Rey.

No problem. I just turned off the sound and clicked like crazy. It still worked though.

Just a note to the rest of the community though, while this is an awesome tool, I highly suggest you tweak the new exports, as AWE uses the entire spectre 0-100, instead of TNM where I have rarely seen an export with a work rate below 50, unless it's Kelly Kelly or Great Khali. Two 60's wrestlers in TNM could easily get a DUD result, while they would get a couple of stars in AWE.
But just the fact that I won't have to enter height, weight and hometown is a big bonus for me.

If we want to flesh out a basic conversion for TNM ratings to AWE ratings, I could implement that so less touchups are needed.

Every export I try to convert will end up with an error index was out of range. Below are the details of the error.
See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

I've uploaded a new version, adding a check to the only place in the entire program that arrays are used to only proceed with the array if it has 1 or more objects in it. Hopefully this fixes the problem.

In running this again am seeing the following when pressing ok after selecting an export. "Conversion From string kick to the midsection to type is not valid." Any ideas as to what can be done here. I'm sure it's happening with all of them or a message like it. I have an export of Neville that I was trying this with as I did not see that one in the awe wrestlers that i already have.

can you upload the export you're trying to convert? These issues are usually pretty quick and easy to isolate and fix if I have the actual export.

Hi Carlzilla the converter seems to be working or at least gives me the same error as stated above. I am trying to export 4 files (all from TNMUK): - WCW 2001 roster export pack - TNA September 2011 - NWA:TNA December 2002 - Extreme Championship Wrestling roster pack So, as I cannot be able to get the converted files, is this something you can do for me, please? regards Tony
