NAWA Glory 03/23/07
We open up the night with the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart kicking off the program, talking about his match with Harry Harris in three days time at Reality Check. The challenger comes out to go back and forth with Hart, talking about how over two years ago, he suffered a neck injury and never lost the championship. This Sunday, the belt is coming back around his waist. Hart's beaten the best that the world has to offer but he's never beaten Harry Harris in a main event Pay Per View match. Hart states that this changes this Sunday and both men go nose to nose.
Miles Stylish walks up to break up the little lovefest, stating that the winner of this match this Sunday will get the honor to be defeated by Miles Stylish at April 22nd at Wildfire for the NAWA World Championship after he beats Kurt Angle this Sunday in two straight falls. Stylish talks about how he's been without his precious NAWA World Championship for a year, but the belt's coming back home. Kurt Angle is out, staking his claim to the title, saying that he isn't anything until he wins the NAWA World Championship, every one of his accomplishments pales. Hart remarks that they're overlooking the fact that he's the champion, the man to beat. Harris comments that he'll be the man to beat for seventy two more powers.
Larry Sweeney is out to make a tag team match for later tonight, with opponents this Sunday teaming up. Harry Harris and Teddy Hart take on Kurt Angle and Miles Stylish. And they will work together. If Hart attacks Harris, then he'll be stripped of the title. If Harris attacks Hart, he'll be barred from getting any title shots ever again, the same with Stylish and Angle. Things are tense as four men have to trust each other for this Sunday.
Backstage, Candace is yelling at Shawn Stasiak for getting her into this mess with Curry Man this Sunday, where Candace's hair is put on the line against Curry Man's mask. Candace tells Stasiak that he better win or else. Skyhawk promises to put those two old fossils Lynn and Backlund out to pasture this Sunday and become a double champion this Sunday. As for Tomko, well Skyhawk assigns him to take out Bryan Danielson who has been making noise about getting another Television Championship Title Shot. Tomko nods as Skyhawk tells him to force the issue. Stasiak has a match next and Candace shrieks that he better win.

Samoa Joe beats on Low-Ki but the liberal use of the stipulation and Homicide interfering brings the match in the favor of Low-Ki. Low-Ki uses the exposed concrete and the steps, along with a leather belt to punish Joe but Joe power bombs him into the barricade and hits a Yakuza Kick putting him through the wall in a sick moment. Homicide is stopped by the Gambler and speared down. Low-Ki manages to nail Joe with a running kick and a double foot stomp but a second one misses. Joe hits a knee strike to the face, sets him up for the Muscle Buster, and then slaps on the Choke for the win.

The Gambler and Samoa Joe stare each other down but the Rottweilers try to attack them after the bell. Joe and the Gambler fight them off and then continue their staredown with each other. Sweeney promises that Morishima will destroy both of them this Sunday. The Gambler is determined to prove that he's got what it takes to hang with the big guns, Joe is out for revenge, and Morishima is just Sweeney's vehicle to destroy Joe.
A look at the history between Mia Stylish and Awesome Kong, with Kong putting Stylish on the shelf for a few months. Stylish suffered injuries but bounced back and fought her way up through title contention. She held the NAWA Women's Championship for five days but wants the belt back. Kong has destroyed everyone and Stylish thinks that she has Awesome Kong's number.

The brief moment where Kong and Stylish faced off teased this Sunday's bout but Del Ray broke that up from happening by attacking Stylish from behind. There were some nice exchanges between the women, with Haze taking a huge beating. Hot tag to Gail Kim who runs wild. Stylish enters the ring and takes them down in a frantic fury but is cut down. Del Ray goes for a power bomb but Mia slips out the back and pins her with a sunset flip.

The Television Championship will be on the line for the first fifteen minutes and after that, Lynn's International Title is on the line. Backlund rants that Lynn will lock the Cross-Face Chickenwing on Sedrick Skyhawk this Sunday and make him tap out. He talks about how the Television Championship will have dignity and respect brought back to it. Some random scrub gets locked into the Cross-Face Chickenwing by Backlund to demonstrate, with the crazed old man yelling "THIS IS SKYHAWK, THIS IS SKYHAWK!" Lynn nods and turns to the camera, calmly stating that he'll be the double champion and he's coming after the big belt next.

The Gambler vs. Ron Killings(w/Larry Sweeney)
Killings attacks the Gambler at the bell and beats him down. Killings misses a corner charge and the Gambler rolls him up for a two count. Killings hits a corkscrew elbow and goes up top but he misses a springboard elbow drop. The Gambler hooks Killings in a cobra clutch cross-face, which he's dubbed the Hangover. Killings is trying to struggle but he can't get out so he has no choice but to submit. The Gambler wins again.

Candace Sweet's hair is on the line against the mask of Curry Man when Shawn Stasiak takes on Curry Man. The Best of Seven Series concludes in a Ladder Match when the Motor City Machine Guns take on the Briscoe Brothers. The NAWA Television Champion Sederick Skyhawk takes on Jerry Lynn with the NAWA Television Championship on the line for the first fifteen minutes. The long awaited women's championship showdown with champion Awesome Kong defending against Mia Stylish will take place.
Yet, the final match, the main event of the evening, nearly two years ago to the day in the same city where he injured his neck, Harry Harris will have a chance to bring the historic NAWA world Championship reign of Teddy Hart to a screeching halt. Hart's held the belt for longer than anyone else, breaking the record held by Ron Waterman but Harry Harris is determined to get the belt back, no matter what the cost. And Hart is determined to keep it up. One on one on Pay Per View, Harry Harris will try and become the champion for the third time, being the second man to do so so after Raven.

This was a classic tag team match with all kinds of high impact movements. The champion is isolated, with Stylish and Angle working surprisingly well together although it is through teeth clenched teamwork. Stylish and Harris have their usual hate filled battle with each other and Harris gets his turn to get pummeled. His neck takes a beating as Angle hits the Triple German Suplex on Harris and Stylish hits one of his own. Harris counters the Ankle Lock by sending Angle into the buckles and hot tag. Hart runs into the ring, and takes out both of his enemies with a breath taking Shooting Star Plancha. Sharpshooter is countered into the Ankle Lock and Hart fights to the ropes, with Harris distracting the referee as he takes Stylish out. Hart counters the Angle Slam with a DDT and goes up top but Angle catches him up top with a pop up superplex.
Hart is beaten down in the corner and Harris is rallying the crowd behind Hart, who takes an absolute drubbing. Hot tag made to Harry Harris, who runs wild on both of them. Stylish gets taken out with a huge lariat and sent to the floor. Angle Slam is avoided and Harris goes for the Harris Driver but Angle rolls through into the Ankle Lock. Harris makes it to the ropes and Hart manages to hit a leaping dive onto Stylish. Angle goes up top but misses the moonsault. Harris applies a triangle choke to a still downed Angle and Angle struggles with the move but has no choice but to tap out! Harris scores a huge submission victory over Kurt Angle with the announcer's putting over how dangerous the triangle choke is and if he locks it on Hart, it will be game over for the champion.

There is a second of tension and Harris holds the belt, eying it for a moment. Harris then walks over and drapes the belt over Hart's shoulder and pats him on the head in a condescending manner "good match, champ."
Hart looks at him and Harris backs off leaving the ring, leaving Hart in the ring with his belt, almost as if Harris is mockingly giving him this moment because he feels that Hart won't get it this Sunday.
