Hayes told the fans that tonight, to usher in the new year, there would be a tournament to crown the new RPW Tag Team Champions. He says that he knows tha he has what it takes to stop the "Alpha Male" and take his title. He then hands the mic to Cannon, who goes off about how his team was left out of the tournament tonight. He says that its because the "powers that be" in RPW are afraid that after tonight the 3 men in the ring would have all the gold. He told the crowd that it was okay though, since it was just a matter of time before they had everything in RPW to themselves and then no one would be able to stop them.

After leveling Nigel with a hard shot across the back, McBride continued his assault with stiff kicks & stomps as he lay on the ground. Hayes tells them that tonight they will settle their differences once & for all in a Texas Death Match. (Quoting "Sympathy For The Devil" by The Rolling Stones) "Please allow me to introduce myself I'm a man of wealth and taste I've been around for a long, long year Stole many a man's soul and faith " He looks down at Styles and continues. "Joey Styles, before you ask the inane question of why I am here in RPW, I will simply tell you. Destiny has brought me to this place at this time. It will be the next chapter in the ongoing saga that is the tortured life of Raven. I will rape, pillage, plunder this company until my prophesy is fullfilled. A prophesy of rage, turmoil, and chaos. I will tear this company asunder from its very foundation. No one will be safe. All will be sorry. Quote the Raven "Nevermore." R: I can't remember a time when I wasn't alone, even when my parent were around. The sound of their fury was harsh, but the sound of their silence was deafining. It's devastation that left me buried beneath a mountain of solitude. My lonliness and despair traped me in a storm of unimaginable emptiness. What about me? What about Raven? The other kids playing ball outside, and me with them was am illusion I'd allow myself, but the stark reality was even if my parents would of allowed me to leave my bedroom dwell, the other kids wouldn't of allowed me to join in anyway. They said I didn't follow thier rules. Their stupid rules... Quote the Raven, nevermore.
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Handicap-Match: Raven defeated Joe Brooks and Kenny Dykstra when Raven pinned Kenny with the Raven Effect in 0:11:11. Rating: ** 3/4
After the match, Dykstra & Brooks refused to leave the ring until RPW Commisioner Michael Hayes came out to talk to them. Hayes finally joined them in the ring & Dykstra complained to him that he & Joe Brooks were tired of being treated like garbage & being forced to job out every show. Hayes told them that they haven't paid their dues in the business and wouldn't be considered for a main event spot just yet, but, if they keep improving & doing what they are told. They would be rewarded soon enough. Dykstra & Brooks had heard enough and just as Hayes turned to leave the ring, they attacked the Freebird founder. Dykstra & Brooks stomped & kicked Hayes as the fans booed. Suddenly, Christian York charged the ring with a chair & chased off Dykstra & Brooks, then tended to Hayes.

The war between McBride & McGuinness raged on & again McGuinness was embarressed by the man he called a "flash in the pan". McGuinness & The Miz argued outside the ring as McBride & Harris celebrated to the cheers of the fans. Officials came out to keep Nigel & Miz from getting back in the ring & escorted them to the back.

Tyler Hilton: (with Zachary Shane) Drake Younger, you got the drop on us this month, but, next time you & "Spiderman" will have to face a team that is prepared & ready to take you to the limit. Michael Hayes: Dykstra & Brooks, you 2 punk kids got 1 thing right. You got my attention in the worst possible way. You want that spot on the card that you've been begging for? Well be careful what you wish for, because now you got it. This will be a lesson you will never forget, a lesson in respect. You're gonna walk down the aisle & into a place where you won't come back from: Badstreet USA (Hayes opens his jacket & reveals a Badstreet t-shirt).
