So after 6 years of booking Total Nonstop Action Women, I thought it was time to start a new thread with a new name. While still under the TNA umbrella, TNAW will have it's own unique name that separates it from it's male brand counterpart. Thus was Women's Wrestling Nonstop (or WWN) born.
It's also an attempt at get back some readers who might have fallen way behind. New year - new opportunities!
To sum it up, WWN is starting its 7th year. In my universe it is the premiere women's wrestling organization in the world. It has a 1 hour TV show at a local network down in Florida, and it holds 8 iPPVs every year.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.01.09
Welcome to 2016! As you might have learned, Total Nonstop Action Women is no more. Instead, WWN - Women’s Wrestling Nonstop is here!
A Grand Opening Despite the name change, WWN is still a part of TNA, and its President is still Dixie Carter. Even though Dixie hasn’t been seen since AJ Mendez took charge midway through 2015, she was back in the ring tonight to welcome everyone to WWN! Dixie says it’s been six fantastic years. Now is the time for the promotion to stand on its own legs. It doesn’t need the TNA name attached to it, anymore. THis is no longer TNA’s women’s promotion. This is its own promotion, this is Women’s Wrestling Nonstop! Rating: **
AJ presents her own changes As Dixie ends her opening announcement, AJ Mendez’ music plays and the General Manager comes down. AJ compliments Dixie for taking her recommendation and changing the name. AJ says that every arrow has been pointing upwards after she took over as General Manager. Now, not only will they change the name, they will be airing on a much better time slot, midnight Saturday! This year, AJ will have the honor of presenting six iPPVs, starting already in 3 weeks time with Faction War! AJ says that three factions are vying for power in WWN. SexiNation, The Horsewomen and B*****s in Black. At Faction War, one group would come out the victors, while the two others would not be so fortunate. AJ guarantees to reveal more about this special iPPV later. To celebrate the start of WWN, she is hereby scheduling a match for the brand new WWN World Title tonight! The champion, Awesome Kong, will defend against Nattie Neidhart in a rematch from Pride and Glory. Rating: ***¼
Angelus Layne vs Jessica Havock We haven’t seen J-Hav since she was eliminated in the Through the Gates of Hell match in October, as she has been recuperating from injuries. What her goals and motives are in 2016 are unclear, but as Angelus Layne experienced, she is not taking any prisoners! Jessica Havock is someone to look out for in WWN in 2016.
Jessica Havock defeated Angelus Layne with the Harlot Slayer in 01:40 Rating: ***
Brooke admits making a mistake A video airs of Brooke Tessmacher and Sara Del Rey having coffee in a local coffee house. Sara asks how she’s been doing over the holidays. Brooke says she has been without a job, so it hasn’t been too great. She says she initially asked AJ about the possibility of wrestling, but AJ wasn’t interested in her as a wrestler. She needed a secretary and lackey. Sara tells Brooke that she has a lot of potential, and that she should continue to compete. Without a mask, that is. Brooke says she would love to work for WWN. Sara tells her that she’ll see what she can do. Rating: ***¼
Kimberly vs Rose Kimberly had a strange 2015. After breaking up with her tag team partner Tara and losing the tag team titles, Kimberly had a series of victories against her former partner and three time world champion. After becoming involved in the World Title Picture, Kimberly was arrested after assaulting Saraya Knight and missed the Through the Gates of Hell match. After that, Kimberly’s sanity has taken a turn for the worse. Being stalked by Saraya Knight doesn’t make things easier. And even if Kimberly had Rose (who has also changed her name, dropping the Martinez moniker) under control for most of the match, Saraya Knight appearing at the entrance ramp distracted Kimberly enough to let Rose start 2016 with an upset - pinning Kimberly with a schoolgirl!
Rose defeated Kimberly after a schoolgirl roll up after 03:10 Rating: *
The B*****s are ready! A video airs of the black-clad, leather-dressed faction who right now holds three out of the four belts. Little sister Athena pats big sister Awesome Kong on the shoulder, telling her that not only would she go on to defend the World Title tonight, at Faction War, whatever the rules are, whatever the odds, they would come out on top and send the two other factions packing. Kong pats her sister and Melanie Cruise on their belts, smiles and tells them to look after their belts, and she would look after her own. Rating: ***½
Awesome Kong (c) vs Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans for the WWN World Title Ever since last year, the warring factions have had a silent truce whenever they faced each other. No interference, no shenanigans, just proper sportmanship. RD Evans is the only one with a proper managerial license, and the solicitor knew how to take advantage of the situation, subtly trying to manipulate the referee by claiming Kong was cheating, distracting the champ by touching her World Title or directly taking matters into his own hands by trying to trip Kong. The world champion is too heavy to fall down so easily, and instead she turned around and grabbed RD by his head, bringing him up on the apron. Thus distracted, Nattie Neidhart took out Kong’s leg from behind. Neidhart focused on the leg of Kong from that point on, trying a couple of times to lock on the Sharpshooter on the big woman. As the champ hobbled around, you could see she was injured. Still, Kong fought on, connecting with a backfist that sent Neidhart tumbling out of the ring. Kong made the mistake of going out of the ring after her. Yet again, an RD Evans distraction led to Nattie taking her leg out from behind. Together with Evans, Kong was rolled back into the ring. Nattie went after her, locking on the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. As referee Remsburg dropped Kong’s arm for the third time, Nattie Neidhart could, after six years of waiting, celebrate her very first WWN World Title.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Awesome Kong when Kong passed out to the Sharpshooter in 12:58 Rating: * (Nattie Neidhart won the WWN World Title)
Horsewomen celebrate As Nattie Neidhart lifts the WWN World Title up in the air to celebrate her victory, Ashley Flair and Sarona Snuka, the other Horsewomen, join Nattie and RD in the ring. Kong is helped out by Athena and Cruise. A bottle of champagne is opened, and RD treats all his girls to a glass of sparkling wine to celebrate. The momentum in this faction war changes so quickly. Now, it’s the Horsewomen who has the power. Faction War is coming up in only three weeks time - where a definite winner will be decided. Rating: *¼
Video We’re in AJ’s office, where the General Manager and the President is looking on a big screen, as Nattie becomes WWN World Champion. Dixie congratulates AJ on a good first night of WWN. AJ sighs, saying it’s been a hell of a ride since Christmas. Ever since she was betrayed by Brooke, she has had to do everything herself. Dixie points out that it was AJ who fired Brooke. AJ acknowledges that, but claims she did not have any choice. She was moonlighting as a wrestler! Dixie says that Brooke has talent. She did reach the semi final of the World Title tournament. AJ says Brooke will never return as a wrestler as long as she is general manager. Dixie phones rings. Dixie looks at it, and the display says Sara Del Rey. Dixie says she needs to take this one, and leaves the office. Rating: *¼
Saraya warns Kimberly A video airs of Kimberly taking a shower. She does not look happy after her loss to Rose tonight. Suddenly, the music from Psycho plays out loud in the locker room, and as the camera angle is from within the shower, you can see a shadow approaching the shower curtains. Kimberly tries to be completely still, and the shadow slowly moves away. All of a sudden, Saraya Knight’s voice can be heard, softly chanting “Oh… Kimberly”.. Kimberly tears down the shower curtain, but Knight is not to be seen. Instead, a laptop is situated on one of the locker room benches. A video of Saraya Knight airs. The Brit tells Kimberly that she doesn’t remember who started this. It doesn’t matter, cause she was the one who would be finishing it. But before she did, she would turn Kimberly utterly crazy. She would not know when or where Saraya would attack. Only that she would. And that Kimberly never would see it coming. As the video ends, Saraya Knight starts laughing as Kimberly drapes herself with the shower curtain and crouches in the corner of the shower, screaming in fear, paranoia or general insanity. Rating: ***¼
Show rating: **
Show notes: The first night of WWN was plenty eventful, as Nattie Neidhart is the new World Champion, the 15th since the start of the belt back in 2010.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.01.16
Argument over title shot Tonight’s WWN Saturday Night Showdown opens in AJ Mendez’ office, where RD Evans and Ivelisse are arguing over who should get an opportunity at Athena and Melanie Cruise’s Tag Team Titles. Ivelisse says that the Horsewomen already have three belts, and should stay out of the tag team title picture. Evans says that’s precisely why they deserve the title shot in the first place. AJ stops the argument by calling it boring and tedious. They both get a title shot. AJ books a triple threat match for tonight. Rating: *¼
Jessie McKay vs Nevaeh The Australian had a very good last quarter of 2015. Not only did she put veteran grappler Tara on the injury shelf, she also defeated Candice LeRae at Pride and Glory, and sent her packing. Nevaeh is a veteran on the midwest indy circuit, but for the reinvented and up-and-coming Aussie, she was no match. A huge boot in the face ended the match.
Jessie McKay defeated Nevaeh with the Schoolgirl Crush in 02:48 Rating: **¾
Sitdown interview with Jessie McKay Josh Matthews had a chat with Jessie McKay recently, congratulating her on the fine win at Pride and Glory. He mentions that it seems as if everyone around her disappears, both opponents and partners? Jessie smiles, saying that both Candice and Evie were weak - not suited for the life in the ring. And as far as her mother goes, she got what was coming to her. Josh says that her claim, so far, has not been confirmed by Tara, and that the adoption agency that handled Jessie’s adoption closed years ago. Jessie gets angry when Josh questions the truth like that. Tara is the most celebrated wrestler in WWN - but in just a few years, Jessie would surpass her. Josh says that in some ways - the ego in particular - it’s mother like daughter. Rating: **½
Juanita Solis vs Velvet Sky Faction War is looming on the horizon, the final battle to end this long war. While her friends are busy trying to take home the tag team titles tonight, Solis fought the veteran Velvet Sky. Sky is still trying to make it work in the singles division, but Solis’ agility and unorthodox style frustrated her. Velvet’s usual ass-shake was put to shame as well when the rhythm-loving Puerto Rican started to twerk. Eventually, the fast-paced match was cut short when Velvet refused to let go of a boot choke in the corner, earning Juanita the DQ victory.
Juanita Solis defeated Velvet Sky by DQ in 05:10 Rating: ***
Contract offer A video airs of Dixie Carter sitting in a fancy restaurant, talking to someone we cannot see at first. Dixie says she’s impressed with her wrestling skills, her charisma and her personality. And of course to her great beauty. The camera pans out, and we see that it is Brooke Tessmacher she’s speaking with. Dixie wants to offer Brooke a contract as a wrestler. Brooke is surprised, and asks Dixie what AJ thinks of this. Dixie says that she is still the president and the owner. She can give contracts to whomever she wants. Brooke accepts. Rating: *¾
Allysin Kay vs Saraya Knight Saraya and Kimberly are on a path of destruction, and tonight it was Allysin Kay who was the unfortunate victim of the Brit’s rampage. Sooner or later, Kimberly and Knight will have to be put in the same ring together.
Saraya Knight defeated Kimberly with a situout power bomb in 01:48 Rating: **¾
A nasty brawl She must have known it was coming, for when Kimberly came running down the aisle, Knight had her fists ready. The two ignored the referee’s pleas of cutting it out and really tore each other apart. Saraya slammed Kimberly into the apron, while Kimberly bodyslammed her opponent on the unforgiving floor. Guards tried to separate them, but Kimberly tore herself free and delivered a kick straight to Saraya’s temple! The former world champion crumbled to the ground, and Kimberly was taken away by guards as the show went to commercial. Rating: ***¼ (Saraya Knight suffered a concussion and will be out for 3 months)
B*****s in Black (c) vs Horsewomen vs SexiNation for the WWN Tag Team Titles This triple threat first single fall match was tonight’s main event. It was a match that didn’t favor Cruise and Athena at all, as they didn’t need to be involved in the fall to lose the championships. In the early goings, the Horsewomen found themselves to be outnumbered by two factions that dislikes them more than they do each other. Only the maneuvering by RD Evans and the strength of Sarona Snuka made sure that they stayed in the game long enough to get a much needed tag. The alliance between Cruise/Athena and Sarita/Ivelisse only lasted for so long anyway, as only one of the teams could walk out of here the tag champs. Any pinfall attempts were broken up however. There were only supposed to be two teams in the match at the same time, but that consideration was eventually thrown out of the window. Soon, all six battled in the ring, as if it was a battle royal. The referee failed to eject the appropriate number of wrestlers, and after being pushed on his ass by Flair and Sarita, he called it a no-contest.
M. Cruise/Athena & A.Flair/S. Snuka w/RD Evans & Sarita/Ivelisse wrestled to a no-contest in 12:28 Rating: **½ (B*****s in Black retained the WWN Tag Team Titles in their 4th title defense)
Bully Sky Backstage, Rose is watching the tag team title match on a screen, when Velvet Sky comes by. She starts taunting Rose that this is the closest thing she will ever come to a title match. Her fluke win last week was because of Saraya Knight - nothing else. Rose looks up at Sky with a sad smile, saying that that might be true, but at least she has won a match in 2016. She lost, didn’t she. Velvet blames the referee for a poor call, saying that she wouldn’t have had any problems beating Solis - or her - if she wanted to. Rating: **¼
AJ books best of 5 While the credits roll, we see Serena and Mia Yim in the office of AJ Mendez. AJ says that she has been impressed by their two outings so far. But we still haven’t figured out who the best of them is. That is why she is booking a Best of 5 series between them. And Match 3 is next week! Rating: *¼
Show rating: **¼
Show notes: We have only 15 days left to Faction War. Next week, AJ will explain the format. All we know so far is that when Faction War is done, there will only be one faction left. Also, next week will see the debut of “The Boss” Sasha Banks!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.01.23
Juanita Solis vs Sarona Snuka The match between the newest member of SexiNation, and the Horsewomen enforcer had just started as WWN Saturday Night Showdown started. The twerking latina dancer definitely took this match serious. Too much dancing against someone like Sarona would surely spell disaster. For a few minutes, her agility and hit and run tactics had Snuka on the defensive, but the free-spirited and adventurous Puerto Rican started dancing on the turnbuckles, and got clubbed in the back for her troubles. After suffering a short beatdown, Solis wriggled out of a splash mountain attempt, ran the ropes and ran right into a big boot for the 3-count.
Sarona Snuka defeated Juanita Solis in 03:39 with a big boot Rating: **¼
Kimberly statement We see a video of Kimberly witnessing her attack on Saraya on a widescreen. She pauses the video, rewinds it and plays it over and over again. She mutters and giggles to herself. So Cal Val calls Kimberly a sick individual. Sick and successful though. Rating: **¾
Brooke Tessmacher vs Kimberly Despite AJ Mendez wishing that Brooke was far away from WWN, Dixie Carter gave her a contract last week. Her first match was a tough one though, as Kimberly is as unstable an individual you would find. If she cannot beat her opponent’s, she will injure them. Brooke’s skills seems to have increased after the removal of the mask. Greater field of vision and/or improved self-esteem, perhaps? Kimberly controlled much of the match, but couldn’t put Brooke away. All of a sudden, Kimberly starts muttering something to herself, before she starts mouthing off to a redhead in the crowd. Apparently, she thought it was Saraya Knight! Brooke capitulated on the distraction with a school girl.
Brooke Tessmacher defeated Kimberly via roll-up in 05:12 Rating: **1/2
The Bully continues Backstage, Rose is walking along, eating a banana, when Velvet Sky accosts her. She shows her a big diamond ring of hers, a gift from her boyfriend, Bully Ray. She asks Rose if she has a boyfriend who gives her presents. Velvet replies for Rose, telling her how sorry she is for not having a boyfriend. Velvet says she has had several boyfriends from among the best wrestling has to offer. She feels sorry for Rose, but not everyone can be as popular as her. Rose says that someone who has been with most TNA wrestlers is not popular, they’re just slutty. Velvet tries to protest, but Rose stuffs the banana in Velvet’s mouth before walking off. Rating: *¾
RD Evans rallies his troops Backstage, RD gives the Horsewomen a proper pep-talk. He expects, nay, he demands, that all of them do like Sarona did tonight, and that is to vanquish their enemies come Faction War. Nattie Neidhart pats her World Title, telling RD not to worry. They are strong separately, but together they are undefeatable and unbreakable. They are simply put, best friends forever. Nothing can separate them. Not SexiNation. Not B*****s in Black. Not AJ’s attempts of breaking them up. At Faction War, they will become the dominant team. Rating: *
Donna Lee vs Jessica Havock The Havock Death Machine is back In WWN. Her crazy, leathery outfit is now accentuated with Joker-ish face paint, making her look as crazy as Kimberly probably is. Havock is a lot more sane though, but just as angry and dangerous. Havock is never afraid of trying something new, using a crushing bear hug to put Donna away.
Jessica Havock defeated Donna Lee with a bear hug in 01:58 Rating: **¼
AJ not too pleased with Dixie We see a video from AJ’s office, where the president and owner of WWN has a meeting with the general manager. AJ is furious that Dixie would go behind her back and hire Brooke, a traitor and someone she doesn’t trust. Dixie says that Brooke is an extremely popular wrestler with the crowd, and that AJ should put aside their differences. That - or put her money where her mouth is and face her in a match. AJ reminds Dixie that their contract is a non-wrestling contract. She wasn’t hired to wrestle. Dixie acknowledges that. She would never force AJ to wrestle. But it doesn’t say that she cannot wrestle if she absolutely wants to. It’s up to her. Rating: ***
Mia Yim vs Serena - Best of 5 Series, Match 3 Winning the third match would give the winner quite the psychological advantage. It would stress the opponent, who absolutely HAD to win match four to get even. This fact isn’t rocket science, and both contestants acted as if they knew this. Mia is still the cocky rookie who is really starting to get her feet wet here in WWN. In her third period here, it’s really coming together for her. She is starting to know all of Serena’s tricks, especially how to avoid the lethal spear. This time, she dodged it just in time, causing Serena to crash into the turnbuckle, and back out into an O’Connor roll.
Mia Yim defeated Serena with an O’Connor roll in 09:05 Rating: ** (Mia Yim 2 - Serena 1)
AJ Mendez explains Faction War A new video from AJ’s office airs. Ivelisse, Athena and RD Evans are also there. AJ says that at Faction War, there would be 3 single matches pitting random members against each other. Whichever faction won the match, would receive 2 points. The 4th match would be a triple threat match. Whoever won the match, would get 4 points. The team who isn’t pinned, gets 2 points. At this point, the team with the least amount of points, gets eliminated. The remaining two teams face each other in an elimination match. She wishes them good luck. Only the winning faction could continue. The rest would be forced to disband. RD told Ivelisse and Athena that the spot as 4th Horsewomen would still be open to them after they win at Faction War. Athena promises to end the Horsewomen once and for all. Rating: ***
The Boss arrives! Dixie Carter was in the ring, waiting for WWN’s first signing of 2016. “The Boss” arrived in style, stepping out of a Hummer outside the building. Well-trained security guards in immaculate suits followed her to the ring, where the crowd went crazy as Sasha Banks made her debut in WWN. Wearing her expensive sun-glasses, her designer clothes and jewelry - she really looked like a million bucks. Dixie welcomed her to WWN. They had come to a spoken agreement, all that remained was a signature. Sasha said she was ecstatic about coming to WWN, really a dream come true. This was the place to be for women’s wrestlers in 2016. However - she would need a little more money. Dixie and the fans are taken aback at this, but Dixie mutters how much was she thinking. Sasha says she will settled for 50 % more. Dixie says she will have to think about it. Sasha tells Dixie to do just that, and leaves. While Josh Matthews cannot believe the audacity of Banks, So Cal Val says that Sasha Banks made an impression on her first day - like a boss! Rating: *
Show rating: **
Show notes: We’re only eight days away from Faction War, but now we know a little bit more about what will take place. Next week, Ivelisse will have a rematch for the TV Title.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.01.30
Angelus Layne vs Awesome Kong She may hold the dubious record of the second shortest title reign in WWN history with 20 days (Sara Del Rey held the title for 13 days in 2012), but Kong makes up for it by crushing her opponents in quick fashion. Poor Layne but up a valiant effort, but was backfisted and powerbomb into oblivion. Awesome Kong defeated Angelus Layne with the Awesome Bomb in 01:59 Rating: ****
SexiNation ready for war A video airs of SexiNation dancing to the quick beats of music streaming from the stereo in their locker room area. Ivelisse tells Juanita that replacing the old stretching routine with dancing has really improved both their spirits and their form. Tomorrow night, they are ready for Faction War, a battle they need to win. Tonight though, Ivelisse takes back what’s rightfully hers - the WWN TV Title. Sarita watches amused as Juanita twerks and twists to the music, chanting Ivelisse’s name. These girls really know how to move! Rating: ****
The prodigal daughter is confronted A video airs of a training session, where Sara Del Rey drills some of the younger girls (Rose, Donna Lee and Angelus Layne), when Jessie McKay walks by. Sara invites Jessie into the ring, but Jessie declines. She giggles, saying that she doesn’t know if she’s got anything to teach her in the first place. Sara climbs out of the ring and gets in Jessie’s face. Sara tells Jessie to stop acting like a spoiled brat. Injuring Tara doesn’t make her an expert in anything. And when Tara comes back, Jessie should be prepared for the beating of her life. Jessie scoffs, and tells Sara she’ll take her chances. Rating: **
Allysin Kay vs Jessie McKay No relation between Allysin KAY and Jessie MCKAY of course, just a determined Jessie out to prove that she doesn’t special tutoring from Sara Del Rey. Kay is a veteran of the indy scene, and knows that if she can defeat her Australian opponent tonight, a signed contract may be coming her way pretty soon. Jessie is not to be taken lightly however. She has sent Tara to the hospital and Candice LeRae packing. She sent home Allysin with a black eye and a loss tonight, that’s for sure.
Jessie McKay defeated Allysin Kay with the Schoolgirl Crush in 03:13 Rating: ***
Sitdown interview with Mia Yim We see an interview by Josh Matthews, where the host of Showdown talks with Mia Yim about the Best of 5 series with Serena. Yim is up 2-1 now, and can finish this off next week in their fourth encounter. Yim says that Serena underestimated her when they first met in the WWN World Title tournament, but that Mia got too cocky after winning. The third match proved beyond a shadow of a doubt who the best wrestler was, and their fourth match next week? That was just a formality. Rating: **½
An unexpected twist A video is shown from outside the arena, where Velvet Sky is exiting the doors while texting. A trio of teenage girls are coming towards her, asking if they could get her autograph. Velvet smiles a little condescendingly, stating that would cost them 10 bucks each. They then look strangely at her before walking past her and instead hugging Rose as she also exits the building. Rose tells them that of course they can have her autograph. Velvet fumes as Rose signs her autographs. Velvet says it doesn’t matter, she has a match coming up. Rating: *¼
Velvet Sky & Kimberly vs Brooke Tessmacher - Streetfight Before the match, AJ Mendez came down and said that despite her dire words of warning, WWN President Dixie Carter went over her head and signed Brooke Tessmacher to a contract. Fine. But as the General Manager, she decided who she would face. And right now tonight, she would face Velvet Sky and Kimberly in a handicap streetfight. Brooke fought her two opponents valiantly, but when Velvet brought in a chair, things looked bleak. That was before Rose came running down to help Brooke, evening out the odds. AJ screamed at the referee to call the DQ, but the ref reminded her that she decided it would be a Streetfight. Kimberly and Sky never recovered from Rose’s involvement, and when Rose hit Kimberly with the chair, Brooke could make the easy cover.
Brooke Tessmacher defeated Velvet Sky & Kimberly with a pinfall after 07:52 Rating: ****
B*****s in Black ready for Faction War We are one day away from Faction War, and we see the trio of leather clad vixens finishing up a training session. Athena tells Kong that while the World Title has slipped through her hands for now, she can have her revenge at Faction War - when the Horsewomen have to disband. Kong smiles gleefully, then tells her sister that this is just the first step. Without her hangarounds, Nattie will be alone out there - ripe for the picking. The landscape will change - and the landscape will be black and filled with b*****s. Rating: ***
Ashley Flair w/RD Evans (c) vs Ivelisse for the WWN TV TItle Ivelisse lost the title to Ashley at Pride and Glory one month ago, but tonight was the night the SexiNation leader should regain her title. On the outside, RD Evans coached one of his two title-wearing girls - on what could perhaps be the last Showdown as the Horsewomen. If the Horsewomen should fall - what about RD? Can he still manage them all? The match was a competitive one, with Ashley slowing the pace down with restholds, keeping Ivelisse at a foot’s bay with her long legs. Ivelisse managed to put Flair in a chickenwing though, but again, Flair’s long legs and a little help from Evans gave her access to the bottom rope. Ivelisse’s Disdain DDT attempt was also thwarted when Ashley grabbed hold of the rope, causing the Puerto Rican to fall flat. She then cinched in an extreme version of the Figur Four leglock - aptly called the Figure Eight. The pain was too much for Ivelisse, who had to tap out.
Ashley Flair defeated Ivelisse when Ivelisse submitted to the Figure Eight Leglock in 11:19 Rating: ** (Ashley Flair retained her WWN TV Title in her 1st title defense)
AJ angry with Kimberly A video airs of AJ’s office. Kimberly is in there, waiting for AJ to get off her phone. AJ turns to Kimberly, telling her that she has just been on the phone with Saraya Knight’s doctor. Turns out she will be gone for months. Kimberly smiles, but AJ slams her hand down on the desk. Not only did Kimberly manage to injure one of the most populer AND best paid wrestlers on the roster - she was totally incapable of taking out Brooke Tessmacher in a handicap match. Not only that - she lost! Kimberly tries to explain herself, but AJ has had enough. She gives Kimberly a few weeks off - without pay - to think about her actions. She’s suspended! Rating: *¾
Show rating: **
Show notes: Tomorrow night is Faction War! All the matches will be between the three warring factions - SexiNation, The Horsewomen and B*****s in Black. Only one team will be left standing - the rest have to disband. Which team will it be?

WWN - Faction War - 2016.01.31
Welcome one and all to Faction War! This 2-hour special is the culmination of the struggle for dominance here in WWN. For a time, SexiNation ruled supreme - the proud latina nation led by the sultry Sexi Star. With Sarita and Ivelisse by her side (and briefly, Rose Martinez), they controlled WWN. Then came Solicitor RD Evans along. He recruited some of the best second and third generation wrestlers in the world, creating a female version of the famous IV Horsemen - the IV Horsewomen. Nattie Neidhart (granddaughter of Stu Hart, daughter of Jim Neidhart), Ashley Flair (daughter of Ric Flair) and Tessa Blanchard (daughter of Tully Blanchard). They were joined by “Future Legend” Alissa Flash, and they stood up to the dominance by SexiNation. Flash’ injuries caught up with her, forcing her into retirement. She was replaced by Sarona Snuka (daughter of Jimmy Snuka). When Evans’ first two clients, Melanie Cruise and Athena, felt neglected by the newfound success of the IV Horsewomen, they broke out and reformed B*****s in Black alongside Athena’s returned half-sister, Awesome Kong. All the titles has changed hands between the three factions, but as we enter Faction War, it is the Horsewomen with the advantage. They possess both the TV and World title, while Athena and Cruise of the B*****s hold the tag belts. But who holds the belt doesn’t matter. Only the winning team tonight will be able to keep on - the remaining factions must disband - immediately. Welcome to Faction War !
Presentation As the show started, all nine women were gathered in the ring alongside AJ Mendez. The General Manager welcomed everyone to Faction War and reminded the wrestlers that only the winning faction could continue. This doesn’t mean that they are fired, only that they would be force to break the alliance, not tag anymore, not even help each other anymore. Faction War is a two-part show. First, the three teams compete in three single matches and one triple threat match. For every victory in the singles match, 2 points are awarded. In the triple threat match, 4 points are awarded to the wrestler scoring the pinfall or submission. The wrestler not being pinned or forced to submit, scores 2 points. The points are tallied. The faction with the lowest amount of points are out before the finale. The remaining two teams then meet in an Elimination Match. Whoever remains after that match will be declared the winner! Rating: ****½
Athena vs Sarona Snuka w/RD Evans The matches are all drawn at random, and it was one-half of the tag team champions, Athena, who was drawn first. Her opponent - Sarona Snuka! The daughter of Jimmy tried to assert her power in the early goings, but Athena’s speed and agility countered it. RD Evans managed to distract “The Wrestling Goddess” when he stopped by the announce table to take a closer look at the championship belt, causing Sarona to take over. Her momentum stopped when she missed the Superfly Splash. As the big Snuka got back to her feet, Athena ascended the turnbuckle and connected with the O-Face, scoring the first pinfall of the evening.
Athena defeated Sarona Snuka with the O-Face in 06:48 Rating: ¾* (BiB 2 - Hw 0 - Sn 0)
Ashley Flair w/RD Evans vs Sarita - Non-Title match Not the best start for the Horsewomen, but RD Evans’ girls had the opportunity to get right back on track next, as the TV champion Ashley Flair was up against Sarita. Since all teams have one member in the triple threat, this means World Champion Nattie Neidhart would be the Horsewoman involved in the 4-point match. Sarita used all her lucha skills and experience to dazzle Flair and the crowd early on, but the daughter of the Nature Boy isn’t easily awed, and used her long legs to kick Sarita to the curb. Natural Selection after 5 minutes could have put her away, but Sarita miraculously kicked out of it. The anger got to Flair, who got reckless going to the top for something. She should have learned from her father that Flair and the top turnbuckle didn’t go to well together. She was slammed to the mat and almost made to submit. Only RD Evans pulling Flair towards the ropes saved her. As the ref admonished Evans, he still managed to slip brass knux in to the TV champion, who took a wild swing at her opponent. Sarita ducked, kicked Flair in the guts and hit the Tiger driver for the win. Luckily for Flair, the title was not on the line.
Sarita defeated Ashley Flair with the Tiger Driver in 11:05 Rating: **** (BiB 2 - Sn 2 - Hw 0)
Awesome Kong vs Juanita Solis B*****s in Black had to be happy with this draw, as the former two times WWN World Champion Awesome Kong was drawn against the rookie member of SexiNation, Juanita Solis. The twerking Puerto Rican might be both limber and acrobatic, but shaking your ass at the 275 pound ex-champion doesn’t get you anywhere. A few futile attempts in the beginning aside, this match belong to Kong who backfisted Solis almost all the way back to Puerto Rico.
Awesome Kong defeated Juanita Solis with a spinning backfist after 03:38 Rating: **¼ (BiB 4 - Sn 2 - Hw 0)
Ivelisse vs Melanie Cruise vs Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans - Non Title Match The situation was quite dire for the Horsewomen going into this triple threat. Nattie Neidhart had to win the match. Ivelisse only had to avoid being pinned, while Melanie Cruise’s faction was already in the finals. Being the world champion puts quite the target on your back, and Nattie felt it up close as the tag champ and the former TV Champion targeted her from the start, eventually throwing her out of the ring. Evans cautioned Nattie to enter the ring again to soon, so the champ waited a couple of minutes before pulling Ivelisse out of the way from a Cruise leg drop. When Nattie re-joined the fray, all alliances were off the table. Ivelisse hit the Disdain DDT on Neidhart, only to be pulled away by Cruise. Nattie put Cruise in the Sharpshooter, but a kick from Ivelisse brought Nattie down. A frenzy of finisher moves or attempts to perform them followed, before Ivelisse connected with Disdain, sending Cruise head first. Before she could make the pin though, Nattie threw her from the ring and rolled on top of Cruise, securing the first win of the evening for the Horsewomen.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Melanie Cruise and Ivelisse by pinning M. Cruise after 12:04 Rating: ** (BiB - 4 - Sn 4 - Hw 4) As all four teams were left with 4 points, the confusion level was high. Who would go on to the elimination match? AJ Mendez appeared on the rampway, saying that since all factions had 4 points, the elimination match would now be a 3 vs 3 vs 3 Elimination Match!
Contract Signing As the faction members are getting ready for the elimination match, AJ Mendez came out and yet again introduced the WWN fans to “The Boss” Sasha Banks. Sasha came out in a hummer, flanked by her security retinue and bedecked by jewelry and other bling. As “the Boss” entered the ring to a loud ovation, she smiled at both fans and AJ. The GM announced that they had finally reached an agreement, and that Sasha would be joining WWN. Sasha took the mic and addressed the crowd. She said that what AJ meant, is that she was finally getting the pay she deserved. Playboy Photoshoots, ex-cons, Faction wars, the Horsewomen.. they haven’t gotten WWN anywhere. The Boss will. That is why AJ accepted all of her demands. AJ tries to stop her at this point, but Sasha holds her at an arm’s length as she discloses that not only did AJ give her twice the salary first offered, she also guaranteed Banks a title shot for EACH of the three titles in 2016. Fumes are practically coming out of AJ’s ears at this point. Sasha signs the dotted line and tells AJ that she is ready to fight next week. As Banks leaves the ring, AJ grabs the mic, telling her that she won’t have to wait until next week. She wants to give the three stables more time to rest, so she has put Sasha in a match right now! Rating: ****1/2
“The Boss” Sasha Banks vs Velvet Sky Sasha was initially a little pissed at AJ for putting her in a match she hadn’t prepared for, but you don’t get to be “the Boss” without being prepared. As Sky tried to tackle Sasha from the get-go, Banks was prepared and countered with a drop-toe hold. Sky needs to get her singles career off the ground, and defeating one of the best paid athletes in WWN history was a sure way of moving her up the rankings. The problem was, Banks is good. She’s real good. Even though she is small, she packs a hell of a punch and has so many tricks up her sleeve that you never see it coming. Double knees to the back, double knees to the front, multiple suplexes and innovative submisison moves. Sky might have more years in the industry than Sasha, but the will and drive were not where they should be, and she tapped out to the Bank Statement. An impressive debut from Banks!
Sasha Banks defeated Velvet Sky when she forced Sky to submit to the Bank Statement in 07:38 Rating: ***¾
Not everyone’s happy A video airs from backstage, where Serena and Jessica Havock are watching the show. Jessica scoffs, saying that Sasha just arrived, and now she is being promised title shot after title shot - in addition to her extravagant salary. Havock was in the Through the Gates of Hell match, got injured, got back and now what? Nothing? Serena nods, and agress with Havock. She was the world champion, but when AJ showed up, she was forced to be in Playboy and fight crazy ex-cons. But somebody just gets everything handed to them. Rating: **
B*****s in Black vs The Horsewomen vs SexiNation - Elimination Match It all boils down to this. The months long feud between these three team culminates now! Only two women were in the ring at the same time - at least according to the rules. Juanita Solis looked like she was still in concussion city after her encounter with Kong, so the smart thing would be to stay on the apron for as long as you had two. But Solis has guts, and tagged herself in early. It only got her eliminated though.
x Melanie Cruise eliminated Juanita Solis with the Burning Hammer after 04:25
With one member down, it looked like the Horsewomen and BiB tried to target SexiNation, keeping one of them in the ring at all times to eliminate what was now the weakest opponent. Are you strong and skilled enough, however, you can take down the biggest opponent.
x Ivelisse eliminated Sarona Snuka with the Disdain DDT after 07:14
BiB looked strong now, and between the powerhouses of Cruise and Kong, and the martial arts skills of Athena, both the Horsewomen and SexiNation had troubles keeping themselves in the game. It took the helpful hand from RD Evans, pushing Athena down from the turnbuckles just as she was about to hit the O-Face. She landed awkwardly on her shoulder, and was rolled up by Flair.
x Ashley Flair eliminated Athena after a small package in 10:18
Cruise went after Flair to avenge her eliminated tag team partner, but Flair wriggled out of the Burning Hammer and went into the ropes. Cruise caught her and hit a new Burning Hammer. She didn’t see Sarita make the blind tag however, and was confused when the referee wouldn’t count the pin. Sarita latched on to her with the chickenwing, and after hanging in there for quite some time, Cruise faded away.
x Sarita eliminated Melanie Cruise when Cruise passed away to the double chickenwing in 11:24
Alone on her team, Kong did the only sensible thing and got herself tagged out as quickly as possible. Sexination and the Horsewomen tried to get her back into the ring, but she kept jumping off the apron. Cowardly, said So Cal Val from the announce table. Ivelisse was fighting Nattie in the ring, when a distracted referee didn’t see RD Evans slip brass knux to the World Champ. Ivelisse grabbed them first, and elbowed Nattie in the temple to get her to back off. Nattie fell on the mat screaming. The ref turned around and saw Ivelisse with the brass knux - disqualifying her!
x Nattie Neidhart eliminated Ivelisse by disqualification in 16:48
With both singles champions still in the game, RD Evans looked smug on the outside. Both Kong and Sarita felt the vicious attacks of Neidhart and Flair, but neither wanted to call it a day just yet. When a double team move went awry, Flair mistakenly speared Neidhart. Kong backfisted Flair out of the ring, and tagged Sarita. She picked up Neidhart and Awesome Bombed the champ to the mat. Sarita got the easy pin.
x Sarita eliminated Nattie Neidhart by pinfall in 20:05
It’s everyone for themselves at this point, and while Sarita celebrated pinning the world champion and jeering at Flair on the outside, Awesome Kong took advantage of it, Awesome Bombing Sarita to kill SexiNation once and for all.
x Awesome Kong eliminated Sarita after the Awesome Bomb in 20:48
Flair went into the ring attacking Kong’s big legs, trying to cut the redwood in half. Kong responded with a couple of backfists that rocked Flair, but the TV Champ managed to duck the third one. Referee Bryce Remsburg was not so lucky, as he caught the full blast of it. RD Evans entered the ring at this point, unwilling to see his investment fall at this point. He tried putting Kong in a full nelson so that Flair could attack her, but Kong did a judo throw on Evans and got free. She backfisted Flair again before Awesome Bombing Evans. As Evans rolled out, Kong Awesome Bombed Flair to win Faction War for The B*****s in Black!
x Awesome Kong eliminated Ashley Flair with the Awesome Bomb in 24:02
Bitches in Black defeated The Horsewomen and SexiNation in a 3 vs 3 vs 3 Elimination Faction War Match Rating: ****
A big celebration As RD Evans tucked his tail between his legs and stumbled off, Melanie Cruise and Athena came back to celebrate with Kong. Their friend and half-sister managed the impossble, staying in the match for almost 15 minutes against two hostile factions. And while SexiNation and the Horsewomen now have to disband, BiB will still be going strong. Rating: ***

Show notes: An amazing show has come to a close. So has two stables we have loved and hated. The Horsewomen and SexiNation are no more. What will this mean for the involved? Tune in to WWN Saturday Night Showdown next week to find out more!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.02.06
AJ lays down the law After an exciting and revolutionary Faction War last Sunday, the Horsewomen and SexiNation had to split up. Tonight’s Showdown opens up in AJ’s office, where the devious General Manager expresses fake sympathy towards the manager of the Horsewomen and the team leader of SexiNation. AJ tells Ivelisse that she, Sarita and Juanita may never again team up or be allied in any way. Breaking this might lead to their termination. As for RD, he cannot represent more than one of the Horsewomen. RD protests, claiming to have contracts in place. AJ says that while he might have contracts with the Horsewomen, he has a contract with AJ. This means that as long as he agrees to the stipulations in matches, he must abide by them. He has until the end of the night to decide which client he will retain. Rating: *¾
A big celebration! After knocking the Horsewomen and SexiNation off their perches last Sunday, Athena, Kong and Melanie Cruise were in the ring celebrating to the fans. The celebration was cut short however, as RD Evans made his way out alongside Nattie Neidhart. His choice was apparently an easy one. The solicitor tells them to bask in the glory as long as they can, it won’t change the fact that the best wrestler in WWN is under his wing. Awesome Kong grabs a mic, telling RD and Nattie that it is only a matter of time before the World Title is back around her waist. RD quips that the belt cannot be fitted around her enormous girth. Athena and Cruise move to hold back Kong, but Kong just smiles, saying she’s way over getting insulted by fat jokes at this point. At My Bloody Valentine in 8 days, AJ has granted Kong a title shot against Nattie. Then the jokes will be on them. RD and Nattie look worried as they back out of the Showdown zone. Rating: ****
Rose vs Velvet Sky While Velvet has certainly bullied Rose around lately, she doesn’t fare too good herself, losing handsomely to Sasha Banks 6 days ago in the debut match of “the Boss”. Her aggression and desire to get to the top in WWN was to the detriment of Rose, who barely stayed alive in the opening minutes. As Rose’s will to stay abreast infuriated Velvet even more, the referee warned her that the consequences very well could be a disqualification. After not releasing a chokehold at the count of five, the ref had had enough, and called for the bell. To makes matters worse for Rose, Velvet hit the In Yo Face pedigree afterwards.
Rose defeated Velvet Sky by disqualification in 04:38 Rating: **
Don’t you forget! A video airs of Ashley Flair lounging backstage, the TV Title slung over her shoulders while she watches footage of RD Evans and Nattie Neidhart confronting Awesome Kong. Sarita comes over, saying it must suck that Evans didn’t choose her as a client. Ashley scoffs, saying that she doesn’t need Evans to make it even further here in WWN. Her father did as well without a manager as with, and she was her father’s daughter. Sarita then coyly asks Ashley if she remember how she fared in her singles match at Faction War. As Ashley shot daggers at Sarita, Sarita suddenly remembers that it was, in fact, her. She tells Ashley not to worry though, as AJ has granted Ashley a rematch at My Bloody Valentine. But this time - it will be for the WWN TV Title. Rating: ***
Jessica Havock vs Sarona Snuka “The Havock Death Machine” has been vocal on SoMe about being left out of Faction War (seemingly forgetting that she wasn’t part of any faction), but had the opportunity to prove AJ wrong tonight against Snuka. Keeping Sarona on retainer was obviously not on RD Evans’ mind when he had to choose one, and it surely looks like the daughter of “Superfly” is without direction for the time being. Both of these are strong and powerful women, but only one had the skills to put the other one away tonight. A big chokeslam sent Snuka out with the loss.
Jessica Havock defeated Sarona Snuka with the Harlot Slayer in 03:24 Rating: *¾
Donna Lee vs Sarita Her efforts at Faction War weren’t enough to keep SexiNation alive, but it did earn her a WWN TV Title shot at the next iPPV, coming up in just 8 days. Sarita can put away her opponents in a myriad of ways, including the dreaded chickenwing submission, a submission hold that few (if any) can get out of.
Sarita defeated Donna Lee when Lee submitted to the Chickenwing Submission in 01:59 Rating: ***½
Sitdown with “the Boss” Josh Matthews had the pleasure of sitting down with the newest addition to the WWN roster, “the Boss” Sasha Banks. Banks is already a household name in the industry, and her contract is considered the most lucrative in WWN history. Not only is she paid handsomely, she has secured herself three title shots in 2016 - one for each belt. Sasha repeated to Josh what she told AJ and the fans at Faction War. That she is worth it and that WWN will thrive with her in the spotlight. She is the most glamorous and classy wrestler out there - and she can back it up in the ring. She knows the competition is fierce here in WWN, and while she may give up the height and weight advantage to almost everyone else, it won’t matter at all when it comes down to the knitty gritty - namely who wins and who loses. Next week she will make her in-ring Showdown debut, and those who were to cheap or broke to purchase Faction War, can see for themselves what she is all about. Rating: *¼
Velvet on the hunt A video airs of Velvet Sky prowling the dark, backstage corridors searching (and screaming) for Rose. She only finds Juanita Solis though, who cannot answer Velvet’s question as to Rose’s whereabouts. Velvet comments that she thought losers and nerds hung together. Juanita does a little twerk at Velvet, asking Sky who she was calling a loser. Velvet kicks Juanita’s ass, causing her to slam into a wall. She then picks up Juanita and tells her screamingly that Velvet Sky is not a loser - she is a champion! Rating: *
Mia Yim vs Serena - Best out of 5 Matches - Match 4 It was a golden opportunity for young Mia Yim. She had the series won with a victory here tonight, while Serena had to pick up to W in order to come out the winner. These two are starting to get very well acquainted, as the opening exchange of technical holds showed. It ended with a dual dropkick, both contestants hitting air. And while the two might have gotten some measure of mutual respect for each other throughout these bouts, bragging rights is still an important motivational factor in wrestling. The finish came when Mia finally connecting with the Kiss Me Goodnight kick. Instead of going for the pin, she went up top for Sky Yim, but Serena rolled away. As Mia got back to her feet, Serena struck from behind, hitting an O’Connor roll and tieing the series at 2-2. Serena defeated Mia Yim with an O’Connor roll in 08:18 Rating: *** (Best of 5 Series, Serena 2 - Mia 2)
A new match set for My Bloody Valentine As the credits roll, Dixie Carter catches AJ as she is about to leave the office. She warns her about putting her personal vendetta against Brooke before the best interest of WWN. Brooke is a popular wrestler, putting her in all sorts of handicap matches and other unjust circumstances isn’t right. AJ gets angry, and tells Dixie to let her do her job. Dixie tells AJ that at My Bloody Valentine, she will do more than be the GM. She is facing Brooke Tessmacher one-on-one. AJ gets furious and refuses to wrestle. That’s not in her contract! Dixie reminds AJ that her contract is up for extension in a few months’ time, and that any insubordinate behavior would be remembered. AJ grits her teeth and says she’ll do it. And when Dixie’s golden girl goes home crying, she’d better let AJ do her job without any interference from now on. Rating: *½
Show rating: **
Show notes: There aren’t many days left before My Bloody Valentine. Just in - Mia Yim and Serena will have their fifth and final match at MBV. Next week - Sasha Banks’ first match on Showdown. Also, AJ Mendez will be in in-ring action to get in ring shape before her match with Brooke at MBV.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.02.13
Welcome to another edition of Women’s Wrestlng Nonstop - Saturday Night Showdown! The iPPVs are coming fast and furious here in 2016, and My Bloody Valentine is just tomorrow night! At that show, Awesome Kong will try to regain her World Title against Nattie Neidhart. Sarita has a go at Ashley Flair’s TV Title and AJ Mendez will go one on one against her former secretary - Brooke Tessmacher, a.k.a. Miss Wrestling II. Josh Matthews and Lenny Leonard (filling in for So Cal Val tonight) welcomes you !
A Strange Main Event indeed Tonight’s show opens with a video of AJ’s office, where the General Manager is having a meeting with the TNAW Tag Team Champions, Athena & Melanie Cruise. AJ admits that the competition for their belts are not as tough now that two factions were dissolved. She was certain that someone would find the tag belts irresistible though. She continued, saying that she has sent out invitations to several independent tag teams about coming tomorrow to challenge at My Bloody Valentine. Athena shrugs, saying that they are not afraid of anyone here at TNAW or elsewhere. As far as they are concerned, they are happy to give someone the chance of a lifetime. AJ says that tonight, however, they will be facing Ashley Flair and Sarita in a non-title match in the main event. Rating: **
Juanita Solis vs Sasha Banks “The Boss” made her debut in WWN at Faction War, but tonight’s match was her first on TV. Her opponent was dancing sensation Juanita Solis. Sasha has rhythm herself, but she obviously felt Juanita’s twerking was too offensive, kicking her to the curb to kickstart the match. The two have similar sizes and builds, but while Juanita focus on a high-flying acrobatic style, Sasha is more about submission and catch - plus she punches and kicks harder than her little frame should be able to. Juanita knew she could upset “the Boss”, and gained a 2-count following a Frog Splash. When she spent too much time pleading with the referee, Sasha struck from behind, hitting the lung blower and transitioning into the Bank Statement.
Sasha Banks defeated Juanita Solis via the Bank Statement submission in 05:45 Rating: ***½
Rose ready A training video of Sara Del Rey preparing Rose physically and mentally for tomorrow’s match against Velvet Sky airs. Rose says she hasn’t been on an iPPV in almost one year, so in many ways, she has a lot to thank Velvet for. On the other hand, Velvet is a bully who needs to be stopped. Rose will stop her for everyone else who has been or will be bullied by people like Sky. Rating: ****
Ivelisse marks her territory As “the Boss” makes her way down the corridor backstage after her win, congratulatory remarks come her way from crew members and trainers. She thanks them briefly as she rounds a corner and crashes into Ivelisse. “The Huntress” stabs a finger in Sasha’s chest, saying that the word on the block is that a new “tough bitch” is around. Now, Ivelisse just wants to let Sasha know that there is only one “tough bitch” in WWN, and that someone is her. Sasha says that everyone can claim to be tough, but is she all bark and no bite? She challenges Ivelisse to a match tomorrow. Ivelisse agrees. Rating: *
Allysin Kay vs Awesome Kong Kong might have been the sole survivor of Faction War, but for Kong, only holding the World Title will sate her hunger. Pinning Nattie Neidhart at that time was surely a juicy appetizer. Smashing Allysin Kay to pieces tonight was a small snack - nothing more. Tomorrow night, the main course awaits Kong.
Awesome Kong defeated Allysin Kay with an Awesome Bomb in 02:10 Rating: **¼
AJ Mendez vs Donna Lee Even though her contract clearly states she is a non-combatant, AJ Mendez has agreed to wrestle Brooke Tessmacher / Miss Wrestling II tomorrow night. It is a while since she’s been in the ring, so she needed a warm-up match. It didn’t take long before Brooke Tessmacher came out to join the announce team. AJ Mendez took offense to this and exited the ring. She ordered Brooke to remove herself, but Brooke refused. AJ tried to remove her herself, but the two ended up brawling on the outside. AJ forgot all about the match, and was counted out. She and Lee barely locked up!
Donna Lee defeated AJ Mendez via countout in 04:48 Rating: **½
Nattie ready A video of Nattie’s career highlights air, including her formative years in the Dungeon. The final clips are from Nattie winning the World Title against Kong. RD Evans distracting the champion on the outside, and the Canadian taking out her knee, then rolling her back in the ring. The video fades into RD sparring with Nattie at the gym. Neidhart armdrags Evans, locking his elbow. Ashley Flair comes in, and when she notices the discomfort of Nattie and RD, states that ‘maybe we’re not allowed to be in the same room anymore?’ Ashley wishes Nattie good luck tomorrow night. She reminds Nattie that in her first big match, they wrestled each other to a draw. Ashley has always wondered who would have won the rematch. She smiles, and leaves the gym. Rating: ***
Ashley Flair & Sarita vs Athena & Melanie Cruise - Non title match Typical AJ Mendez to pit challenger and champion together in a tag match the night before their big match. Sarita did defeat Ashley at Faction War and could therefore claim a title shot. They didn’t work very well together tonight, Flair not doing extremely much to help out Sarita as she was double-teamed by the champions. All four know each other well from the faction war, but Sarita and Ashley were only getting in each other’s way in this one. The ref threw out the match when Sarita, instead of making the tag, punched her own partner in the face. As the two fought on the outside, the tag champs tried to broker some peace, separating the two. It was just chaos tonight, but tomorrow night, one of them will walk out the TV Champion.
Athena & Melanie Cruise def. Ashley Flair & Sarita via DQ in 11:10 Rating: ½*
Who did it? A video airs from backstage, where Serena is writhing in pain on the floor, clutching her small back. A couple of trainers, including Sara Del Rey is checking her out as Mia Yim passes by. Sara gets up and grabs hold of Mia, asking her if she knows about this. Mia refuses any knowledge about the attack, claiming to be superior to Serena anyway. She still mutters somewhat sarcastically that it would be a shame if she wasn’t a 100 % tomorrow night. Rating: **¾
Final warning As the end credits of Showdown airs, a hooded AJ Mendez accosts Brooke at her car. AJ says that there is still time to back out. Back out of a situation she can never win. Brooke has never held a title in her life. AJ is our generation’s most famous women’s wrestler. She still has it in her. Brooke pushes AJ away, saying that she’s crazy. That much is true. But when she defeats her tomorrow night, the entire world will see her for a weak fraud. As Brooke drives away, AJ picks up the phone and makes a call. She tells whoever is on the line that “you better be there tomorrow”. AJ is not coming alone.. Rating: ***

Too many iPPVs Trying to cram two iPPVs into two months didn’t work too well for WWN. While both shows were very good quality-wise, the build-up was confusing and too short in both cases. The name change, while considered good by some branding experts, will also confuse some of the fans in the beginning. Some also feel that it is too similar to WWE.
Comings and goings / injuries and no shows With the coming of “The Boss” Sasha Banks, WWN has done quite the scoop according to pundits. Widely regarded as one of the best wrestlers in the world, Sasha will make quite the impact in WWN. To everyone’s surprise, Candice LaRae has quit WWN. She was booked in a somewhat controversial storyline involving Tara and Jessie McKay, but now that Tara is injured, how can McKay push the story forward alone?
Tara has recovered from her concussion, but unfortunately tore her bicep during training. She will be out for another 3 months.
Tonga Tapa had a huge family emergency that prevented her from attending the tapings. WWN management understands completely.
Praise for Donna Lee Juanita Solis has praised colleague Donna Lee in a recent interview with Diva-Dirt. The Puerto Rican wrestler has said that very few wrestlers of Donna’s caliber can be a perennial jobber for so long and still show up to work with a smile every taping. She hopes her patience pays off, for Donna is in her opinion one of the finest workers in WWN.

WWN - My Bloody Valentine - 2016.02.14
It is not often My Bloody Valentine falls on the day itself, but 2016 is the year! Josh Matthews and his new co-host, “the Pope” D’Angelo Dinero welcomes everyone to the second iPPV of the year and kicks it right off the bat with our opening contest!
Ivelisse vs Sasha Banks Neither of these women are the biggest of the bunch, but while they may lack in size, they pack a mean punch. This was like watching two small fighting dogs pitted against each other. They tore at each other from the start, using their grappling experience to stretch and bend each other in ways unimaginable. The transitions and counters were so fluid and streamlined that the crowd was awed by their skill. As both got closer to that elusive pin or submission, the crowd broke out a “this is wrestling”-chant. There were no losers in this one, only winners, “the Pope” exclaimed. Well, the match had to have a winner, and it was Sasha blocking the chickenwing and reversing it into the Bank Statement who finally forced Ivelisse to tap out.
After the match, Ivelisse grudgingly shook Sasha’s hand in a sign of respect.
Sasha Banks defeated Ivelisse by submission via the Bank Statement Rating: ****
RD apologizes to Ashley Backstage, the TV Champion Ashley Flair prepares for her match later tonight, when her former agent RD Evans enters. RD apologizes for not apologizing sooner that he chose Nattie, but he hopes Ashley understand. Flair nods, saying that it makes sense to go with the World Champion. But he needs to realize that Nattie might not be World Champion for long. At this point, Nattie comes in and asks what’s going on. RD says he simply wanted to say “good luck” to Ashley. Nattie smiles falsely at Ashley before dragging RD out, warning him that this might be in violation of the stipulation of losing at Faction War. Rating: ***
B*****s in Black (Cruise & Athena) (c’s) vs LuKana (LuFisto & Kana) for the WWN Tag Team Titles The WWN Tag Team Champions had put their belts on the line against any comers, and the surprise was huge when two kimono dressed ladies with a chinese-style mask on entered. The Canadian Lufisto is no stranger to WWN, having been here back in 2010-2011. Her partner is one of the most well-known Japanese wrestlers of her generation - Kana. Together, they are LuKana!
While the crazy tandem surprised the champion in the early goings, Cruise’s power advantage and Athena’s striking ability stopped the unlikely challenger’s momentum. BiB tried to keep LuFisto in the ring, punishing the aging body who is known for having put herself through hardcore matches after hardcore matches in her younger day. Lufisto likes to use the Burning Hammer herself, which can be why she managed to wriggle out of Melanie’s attempt and make the tag. Kana was all fired up, delivering kicks and punches to the champions. Athena tried to respond with a superkick, but connected with Cruise instead! As Lufisto entered the ring and speared Athena, Kana rolled up Cruise for the win!
LuKana defeated B*****s in Black when Kana pinned M. Cruise after a school-girl roll up in 10:05 Rating: ***¼
Ashley Flair (c) vs Sarita for the WWN TV Title We had just seen one title change hands, would we see another? These two knew each other well from the faction war, and Sarita beating Flair at that event must have given her some sort of mental advantage. Still, it was Flair who took control of the match, wearing down the veteran by targetting her legs, setting up to her Figure Eight submission move. Sarita is an accomplished submission grappler as well, but the match didn’t go as much in that direction as Banks vs Ivelisse earlier. Instead, Sarita felt robbed from a victory when Flair draped her long leg on the bottom rope after a tiger driver. Sarita went for it again, but Flair blocked it and back-dropped her. When Sarita came back up, she met the spear from the champion, followed by the Figure Eight for the win.
Ashley Flair defeated Sarita by submission via the Figure Eight in 11:48 Rating: **** (Ashley Flair retained the WWN TV Title in
AJ’s backup is here As AJ Mendez is preparing for her match backstage, shadow boxing and stretching, an imposing figure joins her. Tonga Tapa is back. AJ is partially happy partially angry to see her, and tells her to be more careful to not violate her parole from now on. She had to pull a lot of strings getting her back out of custody. Tonga nods. AJ instructs her bodyguard to only help her in an emergency. It looks best if she actually pulls this off herself. Rating: ***¼
Rose vs Velvet Sky Rose’s career is picking up after an abysmal last half of 2016 and she is taking a stand here tonight against Velvet’s incessant bullying. Rose is not the only one who has felt the mental torture and bullying from Velvet, who thinks she’s better than anyone else. Sky made the mistake of underestimating Rose tonight, which led to her controlling the opening minutes of the match, even going outside of the ring and slamming Velvet into the announce table. Velvet managed to get the ref to hold Rose back as Velvet checked herself in a mirror. When this distraction occurred, Velvet’s boyfriend, Bully Ray ran in and hit Rose with a power bomb! Bully slid out of the ring as Velvet slid back into the ring, easily making the cover. What a despicable couple!
Velvet Sky defeated Rose via pinfall in 06:18 Rating: ***
Mia Yim vs Serena - Match 5 of Best of 5 Series It’s tied 2-2 between these two in this series of competitive matches. Over the course of these matches, we’ve seen technical, power-based and lucha-styled matches. This one took it closer to a hardcore environment, with a lot of brawling on the outside. The referee was lenient when it came to allowing them their freedom to fight freely, but actually stepped in and grabbed a chair Mia Yim was about to use on Serena. This allowed Serena to hit the Spear, but the referee, who was throwing the chair out of the ring, was a little too late and she only got 2. Serena went for it a second time, but was met with a superkick. Then one more, before Mia kicked her in the head with the Kick Me Goodnight. Mia smiled, before motioning to the turnbuckles. Mia climbed on top and hit Sky Yim for the victory, 3-2!
Mia Yim defeated Serena with the Sky Yim after 10:35 Rating: *** (Mia Yim 3 Serena 2)
The New Power Couple We see a video of Bully Ray and Velvet Sky feeding each other grapes as the sit in a sauna dressed in robes. They call each other all kinds of nicknames, like “honeybunny” (Bully Ray) to “smoochkitten” (Velvet). Velvet tells Bully that losers like Rose should be driven out of WWN one loser at a time. And now, with her man by her side, new doors and new opportunities will open. Ray suggests she change her name. She will no longer be called Velvet Sky. From now, she is Bully Sky. Sky says she loves it. And then they kiss. Rating: ****¼
AJ Mendez vs Brooke Tessmacher She was supposed to be the GM, an administrative functionary not involved in the in-ring activity. That was before AJ got “betrayed” (or so she say) by her secretary Brooke Tessmacher/Miss Wrestling. Forced into the match by WWN President Dixie Carter, AJ did her best to stall and to wait until exactly the right moment to strike. Needless to say, the entirety of the crowd was against her at this point. She continued to challenge the ref’s authority by not letting go of the Tarantula after the 5 count. Somebody else might have been DQed, but the ref obviously feared for his job. Brooke got back the momentum when she ducked a Shining Wizard and hit the Flapjack, followed by the running hip attack and the stinkface. AJ writhed around the ring like she had been shot, and this obviously counted as an emergency for Tonga Tapa. The bodyguard ran in and pulled AJ from the ring. Brooke hit a baseball slide, pushing the two down. As she went out to pull AJ back up, Tonga assaulted Brooke from behind, causing the dq. Tonga than ran Brooke twice into the ring apron with her back first before leaving with AJ.
Brooke Tessmacher defeated AJ Mendez via DQ in 08:14 Rating: **
Awesome Kong vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/RD Evans for the WWN World Title Kong’s second reign as WWN World Champion was way too short for her liking. Kong’s first reign still holds the record as the longest World Champion reign, with 9 months and 20 days. In the opening, Nattie’s attempt to stand toe to toe with the challenger failed miserably, so she had to resort to RD Evans’s shenanigans in order to gain a foothold in the match. Don’t get me wrong, Nattie is strong as hell, and even managed a suplex later in the match (to her back’s chagrin, let me add). RD Evans was taken out of the match when he jumped up on the apron one time too many and got backfisted for his trouble. Kong turned her back to Nattie however, and was clipped down from behind. Neidhart worked over her legs using both legal and semi-legal means, wrapping her knee around the post. Kong kicked off the first Sharpshooter attempt, but her knee buckled when she went for the Awesome Bomb. Neidhart pounced like a wolf, locking in the Sharpshooter. Kong crawled towards the rope, but was too far away - and too hurt to fight on. Kong taps, giving Nattie the win to retain!
Nattie Neidhart defeated Awesome Kong by submission via the Sharpshooter in 13:48 Rating: ***¼
Show rating: ***
Show notes: A strong showing of Nattie Neidhart makes sure she’s still the WWN World Champion. We have new Tag Team champions, as the international dream team of LuFisto and Kana - LuKana - took the belts on their first night in WWN. Don’t forget to tune in next Saturday, as both Tonga Tapa and Jessica Havock will be in action.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.02.20
Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown - your hosts are Josh Matthews and D’Angelo Dinero. Last Sunday, we saw Nattie Neidhart retain the TNAW World Title against Awesome Kong. We also saw the crowning of new tag team champions, as Kana and LuFisto defeated B*****s in Black.
I’m on the phone Tonight’s show opens with a scene from AJ Mendez’ office, the General Manager on the phone with someone she calls ‘baby’ (so, CM Punk?) She tells whoever it is that it was great to be back in the ring, and if it hadn’t been for an overprotective bodyguard, she would have won clean. At this point, AJ notices that Brooke Tessmacher has been eavesdropping, and hangs up. AJ starts screaming at Brooke, but Brooke screams back, actually slapping AJ and pushing her back into the office chair. She says she knows Tonga is busy preparing for the match, and won’t help her now. Brooke wants AJ one-on-one, without Tapa nearby. AJ says she cannot give her that, but if she finds herself a tag team partner, they can have a 2 vs 2 match for next week. Brooke accepts. Rating: ***¼
Sarona Snuka va Tonga Tapa What do you get when you put a powerhouse from Fiji against a Tongan felon? A slobberknocker, that is what. Tonga recently returned to WWN after a brief incarceration following a parole violation, while Sarona is trying to make ends meet as a singles wrestler after the Horsewomen broke up. In a battle of the big belles, it was Tapa who managed to hit the Tongan Drop on Snuka to secure the W. Tapa is still undefeated in WWN.
Tonga Tapa defeated Sarona Snuka with the Tongan Drop in 01:48 Rating: **½
A chance meeting backstage A video airs of the fresh tag team champions, LuFisto and Kana, running into “the Boss” Sasha Banks and “the Huntress” Ivelisse. The two had a sizzler of a match at My Bloody Valentine, but had apparently become friends due to mutual respect for each other abilities. Banks congratulated them on their win on their first night as a team, but told them not to be to complacent. They surely knew that Sasha had 3 guaranteed title matches in 2016 - and she was cashing in one of them in the main event. It would be Banks & Ivelisse against LuKana! Rating: ***
An angry Rose A video airs of a biker bar, Bully Ray the center of attention as he sits on a stool telling all of his friends about his achievements in the ring. Suddenly, someone dressed completely wrong for the place and location walks up and slaps him in the face. It’s Rose. Rose tells Bully’s friends that he is a guy who likes to attack women from behind. Ray apologizes, saying that he didn’t know she was a girl, the way she looks and dresses. All his friend laugh at Rose’s expense. Bully Sky comes over and tells Rose that this bar has an age limit of 21 years. Rose says she’s older than that, but Sky says she must have faked her idea, because she looks like and acts like a little nerdy girl. Rose is nearly crying as she walks out of the bar. Rating: *
Jessica Havock vs Sojo Bolt Even though she is 100 % fit to fight, J-Hav’s main event spot seems far away at the moment. In the meantime, she does what Havock does best, tear up her opponents leaving a trail of destruction in her wake. Former WWN Tag Team Champion Bolt was next in line, and was taken out by the air raid crash.
Jessica Havock defeated Sojo Bolt with the Demon Drop in 01:10 Rating: *½
Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans vs Serena - non title match Like Jessica, Serena’s main event spot seems far away. Ever since AJ Mendez came to power, Serena’s stock has fallen drastically. Coincidence? Maybe, but tonight she had a chance to prove herself in a non-title match against the World Champion. Neidhart has just been through a grueling World Title match against Awesome Kong, and the punishment dished out by the challenger could still be felt by the champ - six days later. Serena was able to control Neidhart for parts of the match via a headlock, but Neidhart’s technical game is as good as ever, and she quickly turned it into her advantage. And with a resourceful (shady) manager ringside, Nattie was certain to keep the momentum going for most of the match. At one of these distractions, Serena turned to grab hold of Evans, but instead he dropped her throat first over the top rope. She stumbled into a small package from the champ, and that was all she wrote.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Serena with a small package after 05:58 Rating: *½
To be the woman… As Nattie and RD celebrated in the ring, Ashley Flair’s music played and the daughter of the two time WWE Hall of Famer came to the ring. Flair said that Nattie had really conquered the WWN World Title with back to back wins over two former World Champions. Right now, nobody could see any other champion than Nattie. Ashley, however, can. Ashley still feels RD chose wrong, and that it will only be a matter of time before the World Champion’s name is Flair. RD grabs the mic, telling Ashley that he knows what she’s doing. Her old man may have taught her much, but RD created the Horsewomen, so he knows a thing or two as well. If Ashley wants a title match - if she thinks she deserve a title match - AJ Mendez is the right person to talk to. As far as RD is concerned though, she should concentrate on the TV Title and leave the World Title to the veterans. Rating: **¾
Sisters of Mercy reformed A video airs of Awesome Kong and her half-sister Athena looking at the empty locker of Melanie Cruise. Athena says she just left, pissed for losing the tag titles. Kong says that winning Faction War seems to have been a bad thing. The former Horsewomen are still the champions, SexiNation members are getting title shots… and look at them? Down one member and without any gold. Athena looks at Kong before suggesting that it’s time for the most dominant tag team in WWN history - the Sisters of No Mercy - to take center stage again. Kong grins and says that whoever win tonight’s title match, they’re in for a battle. Rating: *½
LuKana (Lufisto & Kana) (c’s) vs Sasha Banks & Ivelisse for the WWN Tag Team Titles Even though they had great chemistry together as opponents at My Bloody Valentine, this doesn’t necessary translate into a great tag team. You could see they had potential though, but hadn’t ironed out the wrinkles just yet. Kana and LuFisto, while new to WWN, have had the chance to perfect their tandem at independent promotions in the US and on tours of Japan. “the Boss” and “the Huntress” struggled to find their stride in the early goings, until Lufisto hurt her arm trying to clothesline Sasha on the outside. Banks ducked, causing Lufisto to hit the post. Banks and Ivelisse tagged frequently now and targeted her arm, rendering it near useless. She still managed to tag with it, and Kana did what Kana does best, kick people in the head. The match broke down now, with all four having multiple near falls. After breaking up a submission attempt from Sasha, Kana hit a big hip attack on Banks, causing her to spill to the outside. Ivelisse then hit Kana with the Disdain, but before she could capitalize, Lufisto had recovered from the submission and hit a Burning Hammer to retain.
LuKana def. Banks & Ivelisse when Lufisto pinned Ivelisse after the Burning Hammer in 10:10 Rating: **** (LuKana retained the WWN Tag Team Titles in their 1st defense)
This is just the beginning A video airs of AJ Mendez stepping into a limousine outside of the Showdown-zone. Already in the car is Sasha Banks. AJ is surprised, and tries to rub Sasha the wrong way by pointing out how great LuKana is a tag champions. Sasha shrugs, saying that it was premature for her and Ivelisse to challenge for the tag team titles. She still has two title shots left though. AJ says it’s nice to chat an all, but maybe Sasha can wait for her own limo. Sasha says that apparently, the limo company only has one limo tonight. And since she has limousine transport contracted, AJ better get out. AJ frowns, but the driver simply shrugs and tells her to file a complaint with the office on Monday. AJ gets out as “the Boss” is taken away. Rating: ***
Show rating: ***
Show notes: LuKana seems like a solid team so far, but with Sisters of No Mercy back in the mix, the tag team division just got tougher. Next week, Mia Yim will be in action again and in the main event, Brooke Tessmacher and her unknown partner will go up against AJ Mendez and Tonga Tapa.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.02.27
Welcome to Showdown! Tonight, Brooke Tessmacher will try to find a tag team partner to take on the team of AJ Mendez and Tonga Tapa. Also, we will see Sara Del Rey in action as well as Bully Sky! But let’s go down to the ring!
Leva Bates vs Mia Yim Mia Yim is coming off a very successful Best of 5 series against former WWN World Champion Serena, and was fired up for tonight’s match. Mia’s stock has definitely risen as a result of her victory against Serena, and the future must hold even bigger and better opportunities for the young star.
Mia Yim defeated Leva Bates in 02:42 with the Kick Me Goodnight Rating: ***
AJ reminds Brooke about the match Backstage, Brooke is getting into her ring gear, when AJ Mendez drop by, smiling falsely as she watches Brooke dress. AJ reminds her that tonight, Brooke is in for a world of hurt. No matter who she finds to partner with her, Tonga Tapa will destroy her. Strike that, nobody will want to tag with her because nobody dares to tangle with the big Tongan. Brooke assures AJ that she not only has she found someone who dares fight Tonga, she has found someone who desires just such a chance. When AJ asks who, Brooke smiles back, telling AJ she will have to wait and see. Rating: ****½
Crazy homeless Kimberly A video airs of a dirty, unkempt homeless woman fighting another homeless guy for some scraps of food. The woman kicks the man in the groin and slams his head into a brick wall. It’s Kimberly! The suspended WWN star yells at the guy, telling him that this is her turf, and she’s not giving it away. Another homeless guy stumbles past, drunkenly asking Kimberly if he hasn’t seen her before on TV. Kimberly growls at him, and he scampers away. Rating: **
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Juanita Solis The power couple of WWN, Bully Sky and Bully Ray laughed condescendingly at Juanita’s dance moves, Ray even imitating her twerks. Ray apparently has no qualms about interfering in his girlfriend’s matches, tripping Solis as she was coming off of the ropes. After a superkick from Solis, Ray even put Sky’s leg on the rope. At this point, Rose ran down to the ring and got in Bully Ray’s face. This, unfortunately, distracted the ref, who didn’t see Bully Sky stick her fingers into Solis’ eyes. The pedigree followed and the 1-2-3 from the ref.
Bully Sky defeated Juanita Solis with the In Yo Face after 04:22 Rating: *¾
Rose wants the Bullies to stop After the match, Rose went into the ring with a microphone. She yelled at the Bullies for their constant cheating and their bullying. She tells Sky that she is a former tag team champion, she is better than this! And Ray? Why does he get off harassing women like this? Bully Ray takes the mic, telling Rose and Solis that this is not the kindergarten. It’s not elementary school. It’s a fighting environment. Dog eats dog. And right now, their the chihuahuas of the pack, and they’re a bulldog and a beautiful golden retriever. If they don’t like it, they can leave. Solis yells at them in Spanish, as Rose tells them they’ll never leave, and they’ll never give up fighting. Rating: **½
I’ll be back A video airs of Saraya Knight taking a stroll in a park in England with her daughter, former WWN World Champion Britani Knight. Both mother and daughter have had their issues with concussions, and while Britani had to retire from her wrestling career, Saraya is on the mend. Saraya tells her daughter that soon, her no-fly restrictions will be lifted and she will be cleared to travel back to Florida. Once there, she will reassert her dominance and her position at the top. It has been too long since her fury has been felt on Showdown. And if that wretch Kimberly shows her face there again, she will put her out of her misery once and for all. Saraya Knight will be back - soon! Rating: ****½
Sara Del Rey vs Sarita Former two-times World Champion Sara Del Rey hasn’t been very active so far in 2016, still nursing lingering injuries. She seemed 100 % tonight however, as she took on Sarita. The two veterans engaged in a technical bout, countering each other holds and focusing on each other’s arms and joints. Sara has made it clear she is looking for one more run with championship gold before her career is over, and a win here would go a long way of bringing her nearer that goal. Del Rey managed to wriggle out of a tiger driver attempt and reverse it into the Royal Butterfly for the victory.
Sara Del Rey defeated Sarita with the Royal Butterfly in 06:33 Rating: *½
An offer you cannot refuse A video of AJ Mendez’ office airs. The wily GM has a visitor, WWN TV Champion Ashley Flair. AJ notes that Ashley has an interest in Nattie Neidhart’s World Title. Ashley says that she feels ready to challenge for the big one. AJ reminds Ashley that she hasn’t been that long in the business, and has only been TV champ for a couple of months. Ashley tells AJ that wrestling’s in her blood for all of her life. If AJ worries about ratings, a Hart vs a Flair for the biggest prize in the industry must be money. AJ agrees, and wants to give Ashley a shot at the World Title in two weeks. On one condition. That she puts the TV Title on the line against Ivelisse earlier in the evening. Ashley accepts, telling AJ that she will be the first double champ in the history of WWN. Rating: ****
A target on their back A video airs of the WWN Tag Team Champions, Kana and LuFisto, walking backstage as they run into the half sisters Awesome Kong and Athena, better known as Sisters of No Mercy. Athena congratulates them on their win at My Bloody Valentine and their defense last week. Athena continues by saying that they made quite an impression against a pair of surprised opponents (herself and Melanie Cruise) and a first-time pairing (Banks & Ivelisse), but wonders how they’ll fare against an experienced team like the Sisters of No Mercy. Kana grins maniacally as LuFisto smiles, telling the sisters that it’s only one way to find out. Kong tells LuFisto that they’ve already been to AJ to ask for a title match, but they apparently have to prove themselves first. So LuKana can hang on their precious belts a little longer. Rating: ***½
AJ Mendez & Tonga Tapa vs Brooke Tessmacher & Jessica Havock The look on AJ Mendez’ face when Jessica Havock’s music played, was priceless. Havock has felt put on the sideline by AJ as of late, and apparently did not hesitate when Brooke Tessmacher asked her to partner up tonight. As the former secretary to the GM, Brooke knows who is a dissatisfied roster member. AJ sent Tonga into battle first, letting the big bodyguard handle J-Hav. Using fast tags and good teamwork, Jessica and Brooke found their rhythm against Tapa, who tagged in AJ at a time when AJ didn’t really pay too much attention. AJ managed to isolate Brooke, keeping her away from Jessica (who AJ did NOT want to have in the ring with her). Tonga almost put Brooke away with the Tongan Drop, but Havock made the save. The match broke down at this point, Jessica sending Tonga out of the ring. Brooke jumped at her from the apron with a dive. In the ring, the General Manager was caught by Jessica and dropped with the Harlot Slayer for the win.
Tessmacher & Havock defeated Mendez & Tapa when J. Havock defeated Mendez after the Harlot Slayer in 10:05 Rating: *¾
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: A big night on Showdown next week, as both the TV Title and the World Title will be on the line. First Ashley Flair will defend the TV Title against the former champion Ivelisse. Then, she will challenge her former partner in the Horsewomen, Nattie Neidhart. Will Ashley get away with both belts? Or will she leave with nothing at all? Find out, next week!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.03.05
Another “chance” meeting A video of LuKana winning the Tag Team Titles at My Bloody Valentine airs, before we go to a video backstage. In it, Athena and Awesome Kong bump into the champions, yet again. Athena tells them to keep the belts warm, as they are coming for them. Kong stares intimidatingly at Kana, who returns the glare with a wicked grin. LuFisto tells the Sisters in no uncertain terms that they are neither frightened nor impressed. Before it escalates, AJ Mendez shows up. She reminds the Sisters that before they can get a title shot, they need to prove themselves. She has yet to find them good opponents, but she books Kana vs Athena in singles competition for later tonight. Rating: ***
Amber Gallows vs Brooke Tessmacher Brooke gained a measure of revenge last week when she and Jessica Havock defeated AJ Mendez and Tonga Tapa, but knowing Brooke, she still wants AJ one-on-one in the squared circle. Tonight, she picked up yet another fine win with the Shock Effect.
Brooke Tessmacher defeated Amber Gallows with the Shock Effect in 02:46 Rating: **
Hands off! Last week, the TV Champion Ashley Flair got a big opportunity handed to her by AJ Mendez. She could challenge Nattie next week, but had to put her own title on the line earlier in the evening. As Ashley is enjoying a smoothie in the cafeteria, RD Evans slides into the booth and points a finger in her face. He warns her about taking AJ’s “golden” opportunity. She needs to know her place. She might have wrestling in her blood, but she is still green. Way to green to be World Champion. Not only will she make a fool of herself, she will lose the TV Title. Ashley slaps RD’s finger away, telling him that if he’s so sure about this, why is he here making threats? No, he’s afraid. Nattie’s afraid. They’re both afraid of her. WOOOO! Nattie Neidhart then shows up next to the booth, smiling. She tells RD to lay off. She will take on Ashley next week. And by the end of the evening, she will have one belt - Ashley probably 0. Rating: ****½
Rose vs Sarona Snuka The size difference was formidable in this one, but using her quickness and strength of heart, Rose survived a massive beating in the early goings, and even had some good opportunities for an upset herself. She looked loopy after knocking her head in the ground after a brutal lariat, but still managed to fight on. When she hooked Snuka’s arms in a crucifix and brought the big woman down in a pin, the crowd nearly exploded. Unfortunately, Rose looked out of it, and had to be taken to the back by trainers.
Rose defeated Sarona Snuka with a crucifix after 06:05 Rating: *** (Rose will be out for approximately 2 months with a concussion)
Sara warns Ashley A video of the gym airs. Ashley is doing some chin-ups, when Sara Del Rey approaches her. She comments that she looks good and ready for a double title match next week. Del Rey warns her that many are after the TV Title at the moment - including her. It’s nothing personal, she just needs the TV Title to complete her trifecta - her Triple Crown championship. Ashley understands perfectly well. After next week, she will be a double champion, and Sara would be welcome to challenge for any of her belts. Rating: *¾
AJ warns Havock Inside AJ Mendez office, the General Manager, Tonga Tapa standing cross-armed behind her, has a chat with Jessica Havock. Last week, Havock choke-slammed the General Manager, pinning her in the ring. AJ says that it’s not in Jessica’ best interest to get involved in Brooke’s personal vendetta. Havock scoffs, pointing out that this seems to be AJ’s personal vendetta. Tonga makes a step forward against Havock, but AJ stops her. Havock says that all she is interested in, are a fair opportunity to climb back in the rankings. She has no allegiance to Brooke. AJ says that if she wants to get good matches, all she had to do, was ask. Jessica shakes her head, asking AJ if she actually believes the crap she is spewing out of her mouth. AJ tries to hide her disgust, but manages to ask Jessica to leave. Rating: ***
Juanita Solis vs Mia Yim Mia has been on a roll since defeating Serena decisively at My Bloody Valentine, but Solis put up a good fight here tonight, pushing Mia to her limits and showing her that she’s not the only up-and-comer in WWN. Both of these women are flexible and like to show off their legs and what they can do with them. Mia had the height advantage though, and connected with more than her opponents, including her devastating head kick that ended this one. Mia Yim defeated Juanita Solis with the Kick Me Goodnight after 05:32 Rating: **
Sasha being a good friend A video of Sasha and Ivelisse on a shopping trip airs. Sasha is looking to accessorize, checking out sunglasses, necklaces and bracelets. Ivelisse is not that interested, but still tells her she looks like a Boss. Sasha says she must look the part to play the part. She then asks “the Huntress” if she’s psyched for her rematch against Ashley Flair next week. She must have in mind that Ashley has two matches that evening. She might take a fall in the TV Title match just to be prepared for the World Title match. Ivelisse doubt it, saying that with her Flair blood running through her veins, she wants to win both. Sasha says that if Ivelisse doesn’t pull it off, she will invoke her title match clause and take on Ashley in two weeks. As Sasha tries on a new pair of shades, Ivelisse looks a little worried. Rating: **
Athena w/Awesome Kong vs Kana w/Lufisto Tonight’s main event was a spectacle between two of the most exciting wrestlers in the world right now. Their athleticism and striking ability is definitely top notch, and when they mixed it up with suplexes and throws, the fans were in for a thriller. It is no secret that the Sisters of No Mercy are after LuKana’s tag team titles, and as their partners battled in the ring, Kong and Lufisto exchanged heated words on the outside. It almost turned physical when Lufisto shoved Kong as the former world champion approached a stunned Kana on the outside. Kong was on her way to punching the Canadian, but Athena got out and stopped her. In the ring, Kana was slowly building her momentum, connecting with some kicks and taking Athena down and cinching in the Kana-lock. With nowhere to go, Kong rolled into the ring and pried Kong loose from her sister, causing the dq. The poor referee tried to keep the teams away from each other, and even though there were some shoving and yelling, it didn’t come to blows. But this one is definitely heating up!
Kana defeated Athena by disqualification in 10:24 Rating: ***¼
AJ gives Tonga a mission As the credits roll, we go to a video from AJ’s office. The GM says that she cannot have any distractions as she finishes off that nobody Brooke. She tells Tonga to take care of Jessica Havock. It will be Tonga’s biggest challenge to date. Tonga smiles and says she’s ready for whatever Havock can bring. Rating: ***¼
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: Don’t forget to tune in next week, as we have ourselves a Super Saturday Showdown! Both singles titles will be on the line, as Ashley Flair goes for broke and tries to become the first ever double champion in WWN.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.03.12
Bullies will be bullies A video airs of Bully Ray and Bully Sky backstage, reading an article on an iPad about Rose suffering the “concussion curse” of WWN, being the newest addition to the growing list of concussed wrestlers. Sky laughs, saying that Rose was never cut out for this business. Ray continues, saying that maybe she got knocked some sense into her now. Sky warns Rose about coming back, because if they face each other again, Rose won’t be getting back up. Rating: ***¼
Sojo Bolt & Leva Bates vs Sisters of No Mercy Athena and Awesome Kong have made it clear that they are gunning for the WWN Tag Team titles, but GM AJ Mendez has said that they need to earn a shot first. They cannot live purely on old achievements. Bolt and Bates may not be a perfect measuring stick, but the half-sisters did get a proper workout out of it. A Doomsday Device-variant finished it off.
Awesome Kong & Athena defeated Bolt & Bates when Athena pinned Bates after the Merciless Bomb in 02:54 Rating: *½
Considering Ashley’s chances A video airs of Nattie shadow boxing, while RD Evans lurks in the background. The solicitor comes out of the shadows and hands Nattie a towel. He says that Ashley does not stand a chance against Nattie on a good night, let alone on a night where she already have fought once. Nattie says you can never underestimate a Flair. RD says that whatever happens, he will make sure he still represents the World Champion when this night is over. Nattie shoots him a dirty look, before RD corrects himself, saying that no matter what happens - NATTIE will still be the world champion. Rating: ****½
The Bullies’ new target Juanita Solis, over-sized jacket and large headphones enter the arena and immediately bumps into Bully Sky. Sky tells Juanita to watch where she is going. Bully Ray backs her up, telling Solis that she’s just like Rose, a loser. If she’s not careful, she might just end up with a concussion on her hand. As she walks away, Juanita flips them the bird. Sky is about to charge her, but Ray stops her, saying that she isn’t worth the trouble. He then proposes to go to KFC. Rating: ***
Ashley Flair (c) vs Ivelisse for the WWN TV Title This was the first of our title matches of the evening, and the first of Ashley’s as well. Flair tried to finish it off early with various pinning maneuvers with no success. Ivelisse brought the match down on the ground with rest holds, weakening Flair further. Not just for this match, but for her big chance that awaited her later in the evening. Even with that match weighing on her mind, Ashley gave it everything in this one, even diving out between the ropes to wipe out Ivelisse on the floor. As she was trying to get back in the ring however, Ivelisse stopped her and slammed her head into the ring post. Flair seemed out of it after that, and even though she managed to set up for the Natural Selection, she hesitated and Ivelisse dodged it. She then hit the Disdain DDT to become a two time TV Champion!
Ivelisse defeated Ashley Flair with the Disdain DDT in 08:10 Rating: *¼ (Ivelisse won the WWN TV Title)
A surprise challenge As a tremendously pleased Ivelisse is handed the TV Title, Sasha Banks’ music plays and “the Boss” saunters down to the ring like a… well, like a Boss. Sasha gets in the ring, hugs Ivelisse and is handed a microphone. Sasha congratulates Ivelisse on winning the title in what was clearly a hard fought victory that must have taken a great deal of power on her part. Ivelisse grabs the microphone and tells Sasha to cut the crap. Sasha is only loyal to herself. If she has come here to issue a challenge, Ivelisse is fine with that. Next week, two weeks, the next iPPV, it didn’t matter. Sasha says that’s all fine and dandy, but she’s actually here to challenge her to a match tonight. Here and now. As Ivelisse starts laughing, Banks hits her with a fast right. A referee slid into the ring and the match was on! Rating: ***
Ivelisse (c) vs Sasha Banks for the WWN TV Title Banks took Ivelisse down right away and cinched in the Bank Statement, but Ivelisse rolled out of it and delivered a stiff kick. Ivelisse with a barrage of punches on Banks, desperate to retain her championship belt. Banks looked stunned, and Ivelisse signaled for the Disdain. As Ivelisse went in for the wheelbarrow leading up to the DDT, Sasha grabbed hold of her and tossed her to the side, wiping out the referee. Banks then picked up the TV Title (which had been left in the corner) and knocked out Ivelisse with it. She revived the referee and made him count the pin. We have a NEW TV Champion - for the second time tonight!
Sasha Banks pinned Ivelisse after 01:48 Rating: **** (Sasha Banks won the WWN TV Title)
A nice (?) gesture A video from AJ Mendez’ office airs. AJ and Tonga are watching the action in the ring. AJ seems pleased with the chaotic action, two TV Champions in one evening. And the World Title Match is still to come. Jessica Havock enters, and AJ sarcastically says “come in”. Jessica says she received the message. AJ says she realizes that Havock hasn’t had too many matches lately, and promises her a match next week - a rematch against Sojo Bolt. Havock slams her hand down on the table, and tells AJ she wants a proper challenge, not having to face whatever leftovers she finds in gyms and bingo halls down in Key West. Tonga moves for Jessica, but AJ holds her back. AJ says that Jessica does not call the shots around here. If that’s her attitude, she doesn’t get any match. Jessica scoffs, slamming the door behind her. AJ shakes her head in disbelief, calling Jessica an ingrate. Rating: ****
Ashley Flair vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/RD Evans for the WWN World Title Ashley looked naked without the TV Title around her waist, and appeared dazed and unfocused as the match started. Nattie looked confident, taking her time as she dominated Flair in the early goings. Backed by the crowd, Flair got back into the game, lighting up Neidhart’s chest with stinging chops. The Flair-”wooos” echoed in the arena as the announcers eyed a slight chance for Ashley. As she wore down Nattie, RD looked visibly concerned, and when Flair bounced off the ropes to hit Natural Selection, he tripped her. The ref saw it, but instead of dq-ing Nattie, he sent RD to the back, something the crowd loved! This turned the match again, and Neidhart worked over Flair’s long legs, wrenching and pulling on them, removing her ability to kick and move quickly. Then, out of nowhere Ashley hit a spear. She tried to lock in the Figure Eight, but Nattie rolled her over for a 2-count. Nattie caught Ashley’s legs, twisting her over in the Sharpshooter. In the middle of the ring, Flair tapped out.
Nattie Neidhart submitted Ashley Flair with the Sharpshooter in 11:24 Rating: ****¼ (Nattie Neidhart retained the WWN World Title in her 2nd title defense)
This is just the beginning As AJ Mendez enters her office, “the Boss” Sasha Banks is sitting in her chair, drinking a martini. AJ takes it with a sense of humor, congratulating Sasha with a well played move tonight, and with becoming TV Champion. Sasha tips her glass to AJ, saying that this is just a sign of things to come. Even though she is TV champ, she still has a promised shot at the World Title. As the credits start to roll, AJ asks Sasha to leave, as she has some paperwork to finish before the night is over. Sasha obliges, then as she leaves, she turns to the camera, breaking the fourth wall and saying that it just felt natural to end the evening with a smile from the Boss. Rating: ****¼
Show rating: ***¾ Show notes: That’s it for Super Saturday Showdown. Ashley Flair gambled everything, but lost. Ivelisse has set a dubious record of the shortest title reign in history and Sasha Banks is really starting to become the Boss of WWN.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.03.19
Showdown opens with some stills from last week, Ashley Flair first losing the WWN TV Title, then coming up short against Nattie Neidhart in the WWN World Title Match.
Do It Once More As a cigar-smoking RD Evans hand Nattie Neidhart a glass of champagne, AJ Mendez shows up and grabs Nattie’s glass. AJ says that last week was an impressive match by Nattie, but could she do it against a rested Ashley. Nattie scoffs, saying that she can defeat Flair whenever - wherever. AJ takes a sip from Nattie’s glass of champagne, telling her that she can back up her words - tonight - as Ashley Flair gets another shot at the WWN World Title. RD puts out the cigar and tells Nattie to get ready. Rating: ****
Amber Gallows vs Serena Serena is at a difficult point in her career, that’s for sure. But the former WWN World Champion proved that she still has enough skill left in her to fend off the offense of “Bullet Babe” Amber Gallows, whipping out a new STF-variant to force the submission.
Serena defeated A. Gallows with the SerenaTF in 01:48 Rating: ***½
Highlight video of tag champs A highlight video of the WWN tag champion airs. In addition to showcasing their impressive win at My Bloody Valentine, we get clips from both USA and Japan, wherein LuKana defeats their opponents in impressive fashion. A video airs of them receiving a tag team trophy at the famous Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Rating: ****¼
Sarita vs Tonga Tapa The personal bodyguard of AJ Mendez is still undefeated in WWN action since being released from the women’s penitentiary last fall. Opponents like Serena and Sara Del Rey have all fallen to the might of this island girl, and tonight, former WWN Tag Team Champion Sarita was next in line. Sarita has a variety of tricks up her sleeve, and the lucha-inspired veteran knows how to fly and how to force the submission. She also knows when to stay down, and after Tonga hit her Tongan Drop, it was no getting back up for Sarita.
Tonga Tapa defeated Sarita with the Tongan Drop in 06:05 Rating: ***¼
A warning As Tonga celebrated her win, Jessica Havock came out and grabbed a microphone. Havock told Tapa that as soon as she wanted a real challenge, she was all game. AJ Mendez could hide and cuddle Tapa all she wanted, but her “undefeated” streak meant nothing unless she actually faced someone of significance. Tonga didn’t really reply to it, she just stood there grimacing against Havock. Eventually Havock put down her microphone and walked out - her challenge apparently already made. Rating: *
How the mighty have fallen A video airs of a disheveled homeless women sitting around a makeshift camp fire, telling stories to several other hobos gathered around the camp. This is former WWN TV Champion Kimberly, who says that her termination hit hard, and in this economy, it is difficult to get a new job. She was almost the World Champion, but now she is nothing. A guy doubts the veracity of her stories, and accuses Kimberly of lying. Kimberly grabs him puts his head in a headlock dangerously close to the fire. He quickly relents, admitting that someone like her should be world champion in wrestling - all right! Rating: ****
We’re not friends Backstage, Brooke Tessmacher approaches Jessica Havock, thanking her for taking a stand against AJ and Tapa. With the big Tongan occupied with Jessica, the way to AJ is easier for Brooke. Havock makes something very clear for Brooke - and that is that they are not friends. They just happen to have the same enemy right now, and Jessica wants to try her mettle against Tapa. When all of this is over, they go their separate ways. Brooke nods, but tells Jesscia she’ll always have a friend in her. Jessica shakes her head, telling Brooke that gold and glory are what matters in this business - not friendship. Rating: ****
Donna Lee vs Sara Del Rey Sara is perhaps on her swan song, but she would more than anything like to complete her Triple Crown, winning the WWN TV Title in the process. Defeating Donna Lee en route to that goal was a given, but the former double world champion did face some problems from a Lee who is increasingly coming closer to that elusive win.
Sara Del Rey defeated Donna Lee with the Royal Butterfly in 02:48 Rating: **¼
Ashley Flair vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/RD Evans For the second week in a row, Ashley Flair gets an opportunity to become WWN World Champion. Last week, she not only lost out on the World title, she lost the TV Title as well! Now, however, they were on equal footing, having had time to prepare and no other matches earlier in the evening. Ashley dominated the first couple of minutes, sending Nattie to the outside where she tried to take a breather. RD Evans tried to stop Ashley from getting to Nattie, and this distraction allowed Neidhart to club Flair from behind. Nattie kept on the pressure for several minutes, interchanging submission moves and rest holds with power moves and slams. When Nattie went for the Sharpshooter, Ashley turned it into the Figure Eight! Nattie was in the middle of the ring, and RD jumped up on the apron, distracting the referee. Nattie tapped out, but the ref didn’t see it! Ashley got up and kicked RD down from the apron, but when she turned back to Neidhart, the champ took down the challenger, locking in the Sharpshooter! Ashley eventually reached the ropes, but Neidhart pulled her back out to the middle of the ring - forcing Flair to tap out!
Nattie Neidhart made Ashley Flair submit to the Sharpshooter in 10:18 Rating: ***½ (Nattie Neidhart retained her WWN World Title in her 3rd title defense)
AJ vows to end it all next week As Brooke Tessmacher walks down a darkened hallway, the light bulbs on the walls come on one by one, startling Brooke until suddenly, AJ Mendez stands before her. As Brooke looks around, AJ says she’s alone. She will be alone next week as well - which is when they will end this - once and for all. Next week, AJ and Brooke will face each other in a Streetfight. Brooke nods, saying that it will be woman against woman in the most dangerous environment possible in the wrestling world. AJ smiles, saying she is looking forward to it. Rating: **½
Show rating: **½
Show notes: Don’t forget to check back next week, as AJ Mendez will face Brooke Tessmacher in a huge Street fight! Also, the Queen of the Ring tournament is back and will start next week!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.04.02
After a week without Showdown due to Easter, we are back with an action packed hour of the best women wrestling on the planet!
Announcement about Queen of the Ring We go straight to the ring, where General Manager AJ Mendez is dressed in street clothes, probably getting ready for her Streetfight against Brooke Tessmacher later tonight. She says that in 8 days, WWN will put on a special show for the iPPV fans - Queen of the Ring! That’s right, the tournament is back in its original format. The quarter finals will be held at Showdowns this week and next, and the semi finals and final will take place at the iPPV itself. The contestants this year are Donna Lee, Sarita, Juanita Solis, Heidi Lovelace, Bully Sky, Sarona Snuka, Serena and a surprise entrant that will be revealed next week. This tournament has everything from a former World Champion to rookies in it! Rating: *½
Donna Lee vs Sarona Snuka - QOTR 1st Round We jump start the tournament with this match, where Snuka seemed confident in winning, taking her time punishing someone who still has not won a single match in WWN. Snuka’s overconfident behavior and nonchalant attitude seemed to light a fire under the young Lee, who suddenly found newfound strength, skills and moves that she used to rock Snuka back. Sarona caught her with a spinebuster, and descended the top ropes snickering, meaning to finish her off with the Superfly Splash. But Lee moved away! As a hurt Snuka got back on her feet, Lee jumped on her back and executed a perfect Yoshi Tonic for the pinfall. Unbelievable, Donna Lee has won her first match and will be part of the Queen of the Ring iPPV!
Donna Lee defeated Sarona Snuka with the Yoshi Tonic in 04:56 Rating: ****
You still here? We see a scene from the WWN gym, where Ashley Flair is in the middle of her kettlebell routine. WWN World Champion Nattie Neidhart comes in, laughing as she sees Ashley. She asks Flair why she hasn’t given up yet? She couldn’t beat her, why stay? Flair puts down the kettlebell, telling Neidhart that sooner or later, she would get her in the ring without RD Evans around to tip the scales. And when that happens, everyone would see who the real champion was. Wooo! Nattie’s eyes narrows as she warns Flair about believing her own hype. She has put herself out there like a people’s champion. How quickly the fans forget how much they hated her as part of the Horsewomen. Once a Flair, always a Flair. And Flairs were snakes. Everyone knew that. The two former allies stare hard at each other before Nattie turns and leaves the gym. Rating: ***¼
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Juanita Solis - QOTR 1st Round With her big boyfriend in her corner, Sky was not worried in the least about facing Juanita here tonight. She had sent Rose packing, and now was the perfect time to do the same with another low-life loser like Solis. The Puerto Rican surprised Sky with her innovative offense in the early goings, and even took Ray unawares when she, tired by Ray’s constant comments from ringside, dove through the ropes and wiped out the big guy. She didn’t see Sky come from behind and toss her into the ring steps though. Solis never really recovered from that blow, and soon fell to the pedigree in the ring.
Bully Sky defeated Juanita Solis with the In Yo Face after 03:23 Rating: ****¼
To make things worse.. Bully Ray is not one to accept an offense like this, and went into the ring, grabbing Juanita by the hair and tossing her into the corner. As he held the referee at bay, Sky started choking the life out of Solis. As Sky hit another pedigree on Solis, Ray grabbed a mic, saying that his girlfriend was the only one beautiful and graceful enough to be called a queen here in WWN, so she should just be awarded the crown right away. What a charming couple. Rating: **½
Who gets a title shot? We see a video of AJ Mendez getting ready for her big match tonight, putting on war paint and getting mentally prepared for the war she’s getting into. Mia Yim burst through the door, Tonga Tapa hot on her heels. AJ puts up a hand to calm down her guard. Yim says that she defeated Serena, and old enemy of AJ, but doesn’t feel it got her anywhere. And now, she’s not part of the QOTR either. She wants a shot at the TV Title. Before AJ gets to respond, Sara Del Rey barges in to, Tapa distraught that everyone seems to be getting through today! Sara says that while Mia certainly deserves it based on her results, Sara needs to pull rank on this. She has been here from day one, and wants, nay, needs one last chance to become Triple Crown champion. AJ says they both make compelling arguments, and that she will make a decision next week. Right now, she needs to get ready for her match. Mia and Sara reluctantly accepts her answer, and backs out, eyeing each other and the big Tapa with suspicion. Rating: **
Sarita & Serena vs Sisters of No Mercy AJ Mendez has told Athena and Kong that they need to show that they still got what it takes to be the best tag team around, and has slowly increased the opposition. Sarita and Serena have never teamed before, but Sarita is an accomplished tag team wrestler in her own right and everyone knows about Serena’s record here in WWN. Still, their teamwork was almost non-existant and the Sisters were able to showcase their chemistry. If Lufisto and Kana witnessed this, they must certainly suspect that a meeting with this duo is in their near futures.
Athena & Awesome Kong defeated Sarita & Serena with the Mercy Bomb in 05:38 Rating: ***
Ivelisse warns Sasha A video airs of Sasha Banks in a hair salon, getting her hair and nails done simultaneously, like a boss. The staff scurries away as a furious Ivelisse strides into the salon, swirling Sasha’s chair so that the TV Champion faces her. Banks does not like frightened or surprised at all, she just tells Ivelisse to take a seat - she could really need some work done on her nails. Ivelisse says she doesn’t care about that, she wants her TV Title back. Sasha tries to explain that it was nothing personal. She actually hoped Ashley would win - it gave her no pleasure being the person responsible for the shortest title reign in history. When Ivelisse repeats that she will win it back, Sasha tells her to get in line. The way she heard it, everyone is lining up to get in the ring with the boss. Rating: ***1/4
A Heimlich maneuver A video airs from a restaurant, RD Evans dining alone tonight, wearing an immaculate dress and a silk tie. Suddenly, he starts coughing, and it is obvious that he got a piece of food stuck in his trachea. A waiter shouts for help, and a pair of strong arms grip RD from behind, giving him the Heimlich maneuver. A meat ball shoots out of his mouth. RD turns around and sees Ashley. He looks surprised, but still manages to thank her. He then asks her why. Ashley says that taking the World Title from Nattie will not be as fun if he cannot be alive to witness it. She asks for a match at Queen of the Ring, with one stipulation. Managers will be banned from ringside. RD smiles thinly, saying that he trusts Nattie to be able to defeat her all on her own. He shakes Ashley’s hand as he sits down. Based on RD’s facial expression, somebody else comes over to the table and sits down opposite him. The camera is focused on RD, so we don’t see who it is. RD shakes that person’s hand, saying it was good that she could join him. He might have a job for her pretty soon. Rating: **
AJ Mendez vs Brooke Tessmacher - Streetfight The months of mistreatment Brooke suffered when she was AJ’s assistant was the focal point of Brooke’s rage as she tackled AJ to the ground before the bell rang. Everyone was fair game in this one, and it didn’t take long before the pair went to the outside, punching and kicking each other and throwing each other into the ring steps and the barricades. AJ suplexed Brooke on the outside, causing the brunette to scream in pain. Brooke struck back, and for a while, AJ was almost trying to escape the wrath of Tessmacher. Tonga Tapa ran in to help her boss, but Jessica Havock was hot on her heels, grabbing hold of the big Tongan and brawling with her to the back. In the ring, AJ missed a Shining Wizard and inadvertently wiped out the referee. As a result, nobody was there to count the pinfall when Brooke moments later hit the Shock Effect. As Brooke tried to revive the referee, Brooke retrieved a pouch from underneath the ring, and then threw powder in Brooke’s eyes. She couldn’t see shit, and didn’t see the Shining Wizard connect. AJ Mendez is victorious!
AJ Mendes defeated Brooke Tessmacher with the Shining Wizard in 08:23 Rating: **½
Show rating: **1/2
Show notes: After months of war, both a cold, hidden one and an open one, AJ Mendez defeats Brooke Tessmacher. Only days after this Showdown, Brooke Tessmacher’s profile was removed from the WWN roster page. No words as to why yet, but we can assume that she is no longer part of WWN.
The Quarter Finals to the Queen of the Ring tournament continues next week. Who will join Bully Sky and Donna Lee in the semi finals? Find out as a returning Heidi Lovelace takes on Serena, and Sarita takes on a mystery opponent.

Behind the scenes
Hirings & Firings With the debut of LuKana, the WWN tag team division suddenly became competitive again. While they’re internationally known, winning the belts on their first night was still a surprise. Melanie Cruise being signed by WWE might have had something to do with the switch though. A natural question to ask is, did WWN/WWE or Melanie know about the interest before Faction Wars? And if yes, should WWN have put another team over?
Jessie McKay’s contract negotiations ended without a solution, and she will be a free agent when her contract expires in May. On top of that, she injured herself training in Australia, and will not return to WWN action. So the Tara-McKay-storyline will fizzle out with no solution. Great.
Bully Ray has been hired to a contract. He will act as a manager/bodyguard for his real life girlfriend, Velvet Sky.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.04.09
Tonight, the Queen of the Ring 1st round matches continue. Who will join Bully Sky and Donna Lee in the semi finals on the iPPV itself? We go straight to the ring.
Heidi Lovelace vs Serena - Queen of the Ring 1st round Heidi is back from injury, and AJ Mendez has given her the chance to wear the royal crown tomorrow night. But first, she had to overcome Serena. The veteran is the only former World Champion in the brackets, and going in against someone just back from injury was a confidence boost for Serena. Inspired by her good friend Donna Lee’s win last week, Heidi fought back with kicks and strikes, even blocking the Spear by putting a well-placed knee to stop Serena’s face. A dazed Serena couldn’t avoid the Shining Wizard. Yet another shock win in the Queen of the Ring tournament. This only proves that the tournament caters to the young and those with something to prove.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Serena with the Shining Wizard after 08:53 Rating: **
RD assures Nattie Backstage, RD is eating a sandwich, when Nattie Neidhart comes in and sarcastically tells RD to watch out for large parts that might choke him. RD says he understands Nattie is upset about him taking himself out of the match tomorrow night, but he has full confidence she can do the job herself. Besides, she saved his life, he’s not totally heartless. Nattie points a finger in his chest, telling him that she’s not paying him to give advantages to her opponents. RD holds up his arms and says it’s all been taken care of. He will make sure she retains the title and uphold his bargain. Rating: ***
Donna and Heidi celebrate We see a video of Donna Lee and Heidi Lovelace celebrating their respective wins in the QotR 1st round. Donna says that Heidi has had some success before, but for her, this is huge! Heidi says that she feels like a rookie again after being out injured for so long. It’s about time they were given the opportunity to show what they can do. AJ Mendez comes along, saying Cinderella stories like this are good for business and morale, up to a certain point. It invalidates the legitimacy of the tournament if it doesn’t contain household names. Fortunately, Bully Sky has already qualified, and whoever wins tonight’s other semi final, will also be a favorite tomorrow night. Donna scoffs at AJ, telling her that this is their time and that one of them will be Queen tomorrow night. Rating: ***
Ashley Flair vs Sarona Snuka In just 24 hours, Ashley Flair goes one on one with Nattie Neidhart for the WWN World Championship - in a match where RD Evans is banned from ringside. Tonight though, it was a match against another former stablemate in Sarona Snuka. Flair showed great resilience and fortitude in working over her former ally, hitting both the spear and Natural Selection en route to cinching in the Figure Eight Leglock, forcing the Fijan to tap.
Ashley Flair defeated Sarona Snuka when Snuka submitted to the Figure Eight in 04:13 Rating: ***
Last chance to back down As Ashley celebrated the win, Nattie Neidhart came down to the ring all alone. Nattie sarcastically says it was quite the feat to secure the win against the obvious weak link in the Horsewomen, but tomorrow night, she would face the most gifted wrestler the world has ever seen. She may feel she’s genetically superior, but she’s only a 2nd generation superstar. Nattie has three generations of genes within her. Ashley grabs a mic, saying that all this talk about genes is bullshit. What matters is who’s walking out of that ring with the title. And without RD Evans around, it most certainly will not be Neidhart. Nattie tells Ashley that she should have stayed with the TV Title, she’s just not ready for the big leagues yet. Ashley says that she can smell Nattie’s fear all the way over to the ring. She let’s out a “WOOO” before the WWN Champion slowly backs down the ramp. Rating: ****
Preparations are made Bully Sky and Bully Ray are getting ready for “their” match against Juanita Solis later tonight. Sky is twerking and asking Ray if he feels Juanita twerks better than her. Ray says nobody twerks like Sky, and tonight, the only twerking Solis will do is the spasms that will wrack her body after her head hits the ground after the In Yo Face. Sky hugs her man, saying that tomorrow night, she will ascend the throne as the rightful queen of WWN. Rating: ***¼
Sarita vs Taya w/RD Evans - Queen of the Ring 1st Round Match Solicitor RD Evans comes down and presents his newest client, but an old face to the WWN faithful. Taya! The large, muscular blonde comes down and poses before her match. The crowd takes an instant dislike to her, in part due to her arrogant poses, in part due to her alliance with RD Evans. Sarita and Taya know each other very well due to spending time together in Mexico, and they traded several holds in the beginning before Taya used her power to take the control. The veteran refused to stay down however, and reversed a power bomb attempt into a Tiger Driver to advance to tomorrow’s iPPV.
Sarita defeated Taya with the Tiger Driver after 04:38 Rating: **¼
3-way for the TV Title Inside AJ Mendez’ office, AJ, Sasha Banks, Ivelisse and Mia Yim sign the dotted line for tomorrow’s title match. AJ points out that since Sara Del Rey decided to practically write her own resignation, the 4-way will be a 3-way. Sasha says it doesn’t matter if it is 3, 4, 5 or 6 opponents, she will retain her title. She signs the contract and gives it “the Boss” stamp. Ivelisse scoffs, saying that now that she cannot wrestle someone who just was through a hard-fought victory, she would find a W harder to come by. She also signs the contract. Mia Yim grabs the pen, saying that neither of them have ever seen someone like her. Someone who defies gravity and the laws of physics. She will kick them both goodnight. Rating: ***
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Juanita Solis After a small twerk-off at the beginning (a competition the fans agreed Juanita won), the two started brawling, lighting up each other’s chests with chops and strikes. The pace was lightning quick, and suddenly Solis ducked a Sky clothesline and dove out on Ray, wiping him out. She pulled out Sky and knocked her around a little ringside, before throwing her back inside. As she was about to roll in herself, Bully Ray grabbed her and sent her into the ringpost! He helped her back on her feet, and threw her in. Clutching her face, she couldn’t do anything as Sky rolled over her, making the pinfall.
Bully Sky pinned Juanita Solis after 05:12 Rating: ****¼
A final warning As AJ Mendez is about to lock up for the night, Jessica Havock suddenly appears behind her. The smaller General Manager is almost dwarfed by Havock. AJ smiles, asking Jessica if she’s looking forward to her big match tomorrow. Havock says that tomorrow night, she will demolish Tonga Tapan and crush the myth of the invincible Tongan. And after she has caused Tapa’s first ever loss here in WWN, she is coming after AJ. And without a bodyguard or a secretary, AJ will be helpless. Mendez says she deals with one day at a time. She highly doubts she can defeat Tonga anyway. After all, she is the only one in WWN who has done hard time for serious and violent crimes. She smiles at Jessica before moving off. Rating: ***

Show notes: Tomorrow night is Queen of the Ring 2016. Donna Lee, Heidi Lovelace, Bully Sky and Sarita will find for the prestigious crown!
Also, Sasha Banks will defend her TV Title against Ivelisse and Mia Yim in a 3-way dance, Sisters of No Mercy will challenge LuKana for the WWN Tag Team Titles, we have the undefeated Tonga Tapa against Jessica Havock and in the main event - Nattie Neidhart will have to defend the World Championship against Ashley Flair with no help from RD Evans.
! Breaking news! Several witnesses reported a serious altercation between WWN wrestler and trainer Sara Del Rey and a young fan at the previous tapings. According to witnesses, Sara started yelling at the little kid for being in a restricted area. The kid’s parents came along to apologize, but Del Rey just kept going. WWN has apologized profusely to the kid and his parents, and so has Sara. Unfortunately for the veteran and two-time champion, this has reflected very poorly on WWN and its values. As a result, she has been fired effective immediately. This was the reason why she was removed from the 4-way at Queen of the Ring. WWN officials are still in shock over her behavior, which has been described as both unprofessional and in poor manner.

WWN - Queen of the Ring 2016 - 2016.04.10
Hello everyone, and welcome to Queen of the Ring 2016. Your hosts of the evening are Josh Matthews and “the Pope” D’Angelo Dinero. They run down the four contestants for the coveted crown, which was on display at the announce table. Both agree that Bully Sky is a prime candidate for winning the tournament, especially with Bully Ray by her side. Let’s go to the ring for the first match!
Donna Lee vs Sarita - Queen of the Ring Semi Final # 1 Donna surprised everyone by beating Sarona Snuka in her qualifier, earning her her first ever iPPV match. You could see from the get go that she was a little nervous, and the more experienced Sarita tried to take advantage of that, going for cradles and pinfall maneuvers to make a quick victory. When that didn’t work, the savvy lucha worker started cinching in a variety of submission holds. Donna scrambled out of them all, stressing Sarita to no end. She would have loved to save up some of her strength to the final. Sending Lee into the ropes and telegraphing the back body drop was perhaps not a good idea. Donna jumped on Sarita’s back, hitting the Yoshi Tonic with grace. The crowd went wild as the ref counted the three. Donna Lee is in the finals!
Donna Lee defeated Sarita with the Yoshi Tonic in 07:37 Rating: ***¾
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Heidi Lovelace The bullies were back at their old game in this one, harassing Lovelace before the match by saying she had “old woman’s” hair and that her mum must be really proud of all the “ugliest baby” awards she won as a kid. This motivated Heidi to fight with fervor, but everytime she was ahead, Bully Ray distracted the ref, tripped Lovelace or somehow found a way to insert himself into the equation. It eventually got to the point where Heidi hit a baseball slide on Ray, kicking him into the barricades. This allowed Sky to attack from behind, kicking Lovelace in the solar plexus and locking the arms for the pedigree. Heidi countered it into a backslide, but Sky kicked out at 2.8! Sky kicked Lovelace in the guts again, and this time connected with her finisher. Bully Sky is going to the finals! As she and Ray made their exit, they took a long, glancing look at the crown.
Bully Sky defeated Heidi Lovelace with the In Yo Face in 06:15 Rating: *¼
Jessica Havock vs Tonga Tapa This was a match between two women with a lot to prove. Jessica Havock still feels left out by the current administration, and Tonga Tapa has not been pinned or made to submit since making her debut last fall. This match was not pretty at all, with ugly punches and stiff knees all around. The match spilled to the outside as well, where both used their surroundings to their advantage. Havock took a nasty bump on the stairs when Tonga slammed her on them. Havock, in turn, reversed an irish whip, sending the big Tongan face-first into the ring post. In the end, they both stood in the ring slugging away at each other. Havock tried to hoist Tapa up on her shoulders for the Air Raid Crash, but the damage from earlier was too grave. Instead, Tapa lifted Jessica up in a fireman’s position and hit the Tongan Drop to stay undefeated.
Tonga Tapa defeated Jessica Havock with the Tongan Drop after 08:41 Rating: ¾*
Ivelisse vs Mia Yim vs Sasha Banks (c) for the WWN TV Title Even though Ivelisse and Yim worked together in parts of the match to try to neutralize “the Boss”, it was every woman for herself in this match. Yim was the first to break this tentative alliance, rolling Ivelisse up for a two count. Banks and Ivelisse are known for their submission game, but forcing a submission out of your opponent when the third wrestler could easily break up the hold was easier said than done. Yim sometimes went to great lengths to do so, even hitting a senton on the top rope on Banks doing the Bank Statement on Ivelisse. Ivelisse later tried the Disdain on Mia, but her great length strength blocked the move, and Yim hit a northern lights suplex for a close call. When Ivelisse got up, she got hit in the head. Climbing on top, Yim hit Sky Yim, but the impact must have hurt Yim as well, cause she clutched her knee and couldn’t quite make the fall right away. Sasha saw this as an opportunity, sliding into the ring and making the cover on Ivelisse to retain.
Sasha Banks defeated Ivelisse and Mia Yim when she pinned Ivelisse after 12:10 Rating: **½ (Sasha Banks retained the WWN TV Title in her 1st title defense)
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Donna Lee - Queen of the Ring Finals It’s time for the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament. On their way to the ring, the bullies argued that Sky had had the least amount of time to rest, but that it didn’t matter anyway. Lee was a loser on a lucky streak. Two wins in a row didn’t make you a Queen though. It looked bleak as Sky hit the In Yo Face right after the bell rang, but Donna kicked out, determined not to become a laughing stock. The match continued much in the same vein as Sky vs Heidi, Bully Ray sticking his nose into the match where it didn’t belong whenever possible. He was a little too overconfident in this one however, as he was caught red-handed by the referee choking Donna. Instead of disqualifying Sky, the referee ejected Ray to the back. In the confusion, Sky eye poked Lee and went for a schoolgirl, but Lee kicked out. Without her man, her confidence seemed to falter, and Lee was able to power Sky down on several occasions. The wily veteran became desperate, trying to hit the pedigree again. Lee twisted out of it, delivered a kick to Sky’s midsection and hit the Yoshi Tonic. Sky stayed down for the count! Unbelieveable! Donna Lee is the Queen of the Ring 2016!
Donna Lee defeated Bully Sky with the Yoshi Tonic in 08:34 Rating: *½ (Donna Lee won the QOTR 2016)
Saraya is back! As Donna Lee is awarded the crown, we go to a video of Saraya Knight stepping outside of the building to answer a phone. She says she’s here to watch the competition, but that she will be back in business next week. Her injury has healed, she is ready to take back her place at the top. As she opens the door and goes back in, we see that a ragged and filthy creature hidden beside a huge container approaches the door and starts scratching at it. You can barely notice who it is - it is Kimberly! Rating: *¾
LuKana (c) vs Sisters of No Mercy Kong and Athena did prove to AJ Mendez that their teamwork of old was as good as it’s ever been, and mowed through the competition leading up to this title shot. Athena was determined to win back the title she lost at My Bloody Valentine. First, however, they needed to get past a crazy Japanese and a wild Canadian. Quick teamwork overwhelmed Kong in the early goings, but the former World Champ responded with a double clothesline before tagging in her much faster sister. Sisters of No Mercy showed no mercy to LuFisto when she was backfisted by Kong straight into the superkick from Athena. The match went back and forth and varied in pace from slow and methodical (submission holds from Kana or Kong) or fast and furious (handspring elbow from Athena, cannonball in the corner from LuFisto). The end saw Athena climb up top for the O-Face, only to have LuFisto bounce the ropes, causing her to be crotched at the turnbuckle. The Canadian then picked up Athena and hit the Burning Hammer. Kong was too slow to react - LuKana retains!
LuKana defeated Sisters of No Mercy when LuFisto pinned Athena with the Burning Hammer in 12:20 Rating: *½ (LuKana retained the WWN Tag Team Titles in their 2nd Title Defense)
Sasha being the boss We see a video of AJ Mendez unlocking her office door and entering, only to find “the Boss” Sasha Banks already in her seat, the TV Title slung over her shoulders. AJ wants to know how she got inside. Sasha nonchalantly says that she has an extra pair of keys. It gets so noisy down in the locker room. She also needed AJ’s parking permit. AJ asks why she thinks she can have it. Besides, she already has a parking space. Sasha says that her new hummer needs more space, so she needs the one closest to the entrance. She has already spoken to Dixie, and it was OK with her. She picks up AJ’s parking permit and walks out. AJ starts screaming at AJ for going over her head. Banks says she’s “the Boss”, she only conducts business with other bosses. Not mid-level management. Rating: ***¼
Ashley Flair vs Nattie Neidhart (c) for the WWN World Title It was strange seeing Nattie out there without RD Evans by her side. The veteran has often had someone ringside throughout her WWN career. It was her father, Jim “the Anvil” Neidhart in the beginning, and RD Evans the past year. But the champion’s confidence has grown since defeating Awesome Kong for the coveted championship, and proving to be the better Horsewomen by holding Flair off on two occasions. Ashley, on her side, relished in the opportunity to face her old ally without the meddling of solicitor Evans. And as the match wore on, Ashley felt the surge from the crowd and the adrenaline in her body. Hitting with a moonsault knocked the wind out of both of them, and as the referee checked on them, Taya ran out and slammed Ashley’s leg into the post several times before ducking out of the way. RD Evans could not be here himself, so he sent his most recent client down to do his dirty business. Ashley was unable to walk without a limp, and she was easily taken down by the discus lariat from Nattie. The champ than locked in the Sharpshooter. With pain shooting through her leg, Ashley had no choice but to submit.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Ashley Flair when Flair submitted to the Sharpshooter in 15:22 Rating: *1/2 (Nattie Neidhart retained the WWN World Title in her 4th defense)
RD joins the attack Nattie took a short break from the Sharpshooter to get her championship title back, but then cinched it in again. RD Evans came down, grabbed a mic and said that this was for the best. With no leg, Ashley’s delusions of grandeur could come to an end and the WWN faithful could see some worthy contenders for the World Title. RD said to Ashley that she could do whatever, she could have whatever stipulation she wanted, she could bring her father down her.. It wouldn’t matter. As the iPPV came to a close, security personnel and trainers were out in the ring separating Nattie from Ashley. What a sore winner! Rating: ***
Show rating: **¼ Show notes: No titles changed hands tonight, but Donna Lee was responsible for what is considered the biggest upset in WWN history when she defeated first Sarita and then Bully Sky to win the Queen of the Ring 2016. For a rookie that has lost match after match for months, this is an incredible achievement.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.04.16
Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! We’re excited to see the fallout from Queen of the Ring last Sunday, where Donna Lee surprised everyone by winning the entire tournament. Tonight, she and her good friend Heidi Lovelace will tangle with Sisters of No Mercy in tag team action. But we’ll go straight to the ring, where Saraya Knight is back from injury!
Saraya Knight vs Shanna The British wrestling matron is back, ready to win back the WWN World Title. She whipped, kicked and punched away at her opponent tonight, before someone in the crowd caught her eye. Towards the front row, a disheveled, dirty and unkempt women grinned at Saraya. Kimberly! She hasn’t been seen around here since AJ suspended her. Saraya let go of Shanna, climbing out of the ring and going after the women that almost ended the eldest Knight’s career. Kimberly scurried away, but Saraya went looking for her. Bewildered, Shanna won the match by countout.
Shanna defeated Saraya Knight by countout in 01:59 Rating: **
Team Evans celebrate We see a video of RD Evans and his two clients, Nattie Neidhart and Taya in a limousine, probably the night after Queen of the Ring. They are all dressed to impress, and RD is pouring them all champagne. He tells Nattie that she had nothing to worry about. Everything was taken care off, as promised. Nattie said she owed him an apology, he delivered the perfect solution without breaking his promise. Taya asks who’s next? Sasha? Saraya? Nattie says she doesn’t care, the World Title is staying right where it is. Rating: ***¼
AJ sets up a new match As Tonga Tapa is checking out some of the bruises she earned in her bout with Jessica Havock last Sunday, AJ Mendez comes by, congratulating her on the fine win. However, Havock was seen in the gym already on Tuesday. She better take care of her for good. Next week, they will face each other in a Streetfight. AJ tells Tonga to make sure Havock never walks again. Rating: *½
Erin Angel vs Mia Yim A fine opportunity for the British veteran, taking on Yim here in a match that showcased the British style of chain-wrestling. Mia’s kicks and snappy offense took precedence later in the match, and Angel got a taste of it all.
Mia Yim defeated Erin Angel with the Kick Me Goodnight in 04:05 Rating: ¾*
Sitdown interview with Ashley Flair Josh Matthews is having a chat with Ashley Flair, just one week after another attempt at the WWN World Title slipped through her fingers. Ashley said that it was so typical of a weasel like RD Evans. He couldn’t be there himself, so he sent someone else. She actually regrets saving his life now. Josh asks where she goes from here. Ashley says she’s not done with the World Title, not by a longshot. She knows she can beat Nattie in a fair, straight one-on-one situation. The fans want to see it, and she suspects that deep down, Nattie wants to see if she can do it as well. But first, she had something to take care of. Or rather, someone. She smiles as she probably pictures herself beating on Taya’s unconscious body. Rating: *
Final chance Sasha Banks and Ivelisse bumps into each other in the corridor. Sasha grabs hold of Ivelisse spins her around and points a finger at her. She tells her in no uncertain terms that tonight’s title match is the very last she’ll ever get. Sasha is tired of having to fight mediocrity. Ivelisse grabs Sasha’s finger and turns it around painfully. She yanks back Sasha’s hair, telling her that she needn’t worry. After she has taken back her TV Title, she won’t have to see it again. As Sasha clutches her broken finger, Ivelisse looks back and laughs, saying that she doesn’t look much like a boss now. Rating: **1/2
Sisters of No Mercy vs Young Contenders - Top Contenders Match Donna and Heidi came out with matching gear and with a seemingly new name on the graphics. Just before the match, the announcer told the four of them that due to Donna’s status as Queen of the Ring 2016, this match would be a top contenders match!
Athena and Kong didn’t seem to have paid attention in class, as they underestimated Lee and Lovelace in the early goings. Yeah, Lovelace has just recovered from injury and Lee has the worst win/loss record ever, but don’t forget that Lovelace is a former TV Champion and that Lee is the queen of the ring. The Sisters lost to LuKana at Queen of the RIng, and when they weren’t able to put away these two upstarts early on, doubts started to seep into their minds. Upset or not, Young Contenders DID pull this one off, Lee hitting the Yoshi Tonic on Athena to earn themselves a shot at the WWN Tag Team Titles later this month.
D. Lee & H. Lovelace defeated Athena & A. Kong when Lee hit the Yoshi Tonic on Athena after 07:45 Rating: ***½
Bully Sky not happy A video airs of Bully Sky, with no make up and dressed in PJs and a large hoodie sits at home sulking, eating ice cream and watching daytime soaps. Bully Ray enters the living room, shaking her head at Sky. He starts clearing up the ice cream, and pulls off Sky’s pants, telling her to go get dressed. They lost, that’s true, but Bullies like them don’t stay down. It’s about time they really showed WWN - the entire company - who runs the place. Sky doesn’t feel like it, so Ray lifts her up on his big shoulders and carry her out of there. Rating: **
Mia wants another shot Mia Yim enters AJ Mendez’ office, just as the intros for the TV Title match plays. AJ smiles, saying that it was nice to have some company during the TV Title match. Mia sits down, but asks AJ if the real reason is that she needs to keep an eye on her. AJ says that may also be the case. They both laugh, before Mia gets serious, telling AJ that she deserves another shot. AJ nods, saying that if Mia keeps racking up those wins, she will get the chances she deserves. Rating: ***
Ivelisse vs Sasha Banks (c) for the WWN TV Title “The Boss” came out with her finger all bandaged up, courtesy of Ivelisse from earlier today. This only fuelled the champs fire, and the crowd witnessed a great main event. From the kickstart of the match, throughout their high octane brawling both inside and outside of the ring to the hardcore elements that made the crowd go wild. Ivelisse irish whipped Ivelisse into the guardrail, but she double-reversed it, sending her into and over the announce table, wiping out Josh Matthews in the process. Back in the ring, several near falls happened on both sides before Sasha managed to push Ivelisse off when she went for the Disdain, and then cinched in the Bank Statement. Ivelisse wanted badly to reach the ropes or get out of it, but she couldn’t. As Sasha released the hold, she grabbed hold of Ivelisse’s finger, stepping hard on in retaliation of what happened earlier.
Sasha Banks defeated Ivelisse when S. Banks made Ivelisse submit to the Bank Statement in 09:17 Rating: **** (Sasha Banks retained the WWN TV Title in her 2nd title defense)
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: The stock of Heidi Lovelace and Donna Lee - now collectively known as Young Contenders, are on the rise. In two weeks, they face off against LuKana for the WWN Tag Team Titles. WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.04.23
Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight, Ashley Flair will try to get her revenge on the one person who ruined her chances of winning the WWN World Title, Taya. Also, Jessica Havock gets a rematch against Tonga Tapa - this time in a Streetfight!
Mia Yim vs Sarona Snuka First out was Mia Yim, who got close to winning her first title here in WWN two weeks ago at Queen of the Ring. She has kept her momentum up ever since, and her speed, agility and striking power was more than enough to keep Snuka at bay. Yim sank her opponent with the Kick Me Goodnight.
Mia Yim defeated Sarona Snuka with the Kick Me Goodnight after 02:48 Rating: ***¼
Mia Yim wants the TV Title After her match, Mia grabbed the microphone, calling out the current WWN TV Champion, Sasha Banks. The Boss came out with her own, golden microphone (just like a boss). Sasha said that Mia was welcome to try, but it wouldn’t do her any good. It would be better for both her self-esteem and her bank account, that she kept herself to matches she could actually win. Yim laughed it off, reminding Banks that she won the title by taking advantage of her friend, and at Queen of the Ring, she took advantage of the 3-way situation. If she was to call herself champ, she at least had to prove it, one-on-one. Sasha yawns, but promises to grant Mia Yim a precious title shot if she continues to improve. Mia shakes her head in disbelief as the Boss saunters out of the arena. Rating: ****
Young Contenders rejoice Backstage, Donna Lee and Heidi Lovelace are talking about next week’s title match against LuKana. Donna cannot believe how her fortunes have changed. From a perenniel loser, she’s now the Queen of the Ring, have beaten the former tag champions and will have a title match next week. Heidi says while she has tasted gold here in WWN already, she didn’t think she would be back so fast after her injury. And the success they have accomplished together so far is just amazing. But everything is possible with teamwork and good friends. The two friends hug while Heidi strokes Donna’s shoulders tenderly. Rating: **½
Jessica Havock vs Tonga Tapa w/AJ Mendez in a Street Fight Havock was all geared up with her leather outfit and gas mask, while Tonga came out in jeans and a t-shirt. They didn’t wast any time before laying into each other. Jessica determined to avenge the loss at Queen of the Ring and cause Tonga’s first loss. AJ Mendez soon came out and screamed at Tonga to finish off Havock. When Havock planted Tapa on the outside with a bodyslam, Jessica’s attention turned to the General Manager. AJ quickly backed away, but the pursuit of Mendez gave Tonga the chance to get back in the match. The match spanned all over the ringside area, and shit really hit the fan when Tonga hit a samoan drop variant on Havock through a table that AJ brought into the ring. Tonga is still undefeated!
Tonga Tapa defeated Jessica Havock with a Samoan drop through a table in 08:14 Rating: ***
Trouble in the family? Backstage, Awesome Kong and Athena are watching replays of their match with the Young Contenders from last week. Athena cannot fathom how they were able to beat them. In their first tag team match together? Kong said that the Yoshi Tonic is an old trick, Athena should be able to avoid it. Athena points the finger back at her half-sister, saying that if she had been a little quicker, she could have broken up the pin. Maybe it’s about time she trained on her speed a little bit more. Kong got up and advanced angrily on her sister, who put her arms up, apologizing. They both agreed that they needed to forget about this ASAP, and move on. The title belts were still their end goal. Rating: ***¼
You’re done Backstage, Jessica Havock is being checked on by medical personnel after her match. AJ Mendez comes by, smirking. She gets in Havock’s face, saying that she’s done. Her futile quest of pulling down the WWN power structure has failed. She is not the top dog in the company, far from it. From now on, her matches would be meaningless and far apart. Unless she chooses to work for AJ, that is. She realizes that she makes enemies by the score by being such a successful general manager, and Tonga can’t be everywhere. Havock screams out ‘never’, but AJ shakes her head and tells her to think about it. Carefully. Rating: ****
“Black Rose” Juanita Solis vs Sarita Juanita Solis is back in action, with a new name and new gear.. Black Rose is dressed all in black, but her dancing and gyrating is still the same. Sarita knows of Black Rose from their time in SexiNation, and they had a short contest with a lot of chain-wrestling and lucha throws. It went back and forth until Black Rose managed to hit a backslide, moving her body agilely on top of Sarita’s, pinning her shoulders to the mat for the 3-count.
Black Rose defeated Sarita with a backslide in 03:45 Rating: *
Sasha teases cashing in As AJ Mendez returns to her office, she finds Sasha Banks awaiting in her chair (as per usual). Sasha tells AJ that security is very lax around here, but that she can get used to sitting in this chair. AJ asks her what she wants. Sasha wants to pitch an idea to AJ. “Sasha Banks - first ever dual champion”. She wants to be both the TV and the World Champion at the same time. AJ smiles, but warns Sasha about cashing in too early. She has many months left of the year. Defending/challenging for both belts can be tiresome, just ask Ashley Flair. Sasha says Ashley Flair may be Ric Flair’s daughter, but she is not the Boss. AJ says she cannot stop Sasha, but she strongly discourages it. Nattie Neidhart is one of the most experienced and well-rounded athletes in the world. She would hate for Sasha’s momentum to end in the sharpshooter. Sasha says that the most likely result would be Nattie’s reign ending in the Bank Statement. AJ gives her the match in 3 weeks time. They shake hands. Rating: ****
Ashley Flair vs Taya w/RD Evans It’s time for the main event of the evening. Ashley Flair was looking forward to getting her hands on RD Evans’ most recent signee, the women who cost Ashley the World Title two weeks ago. Taya is a big and powerful woman, and the two tested their strength early on. Taya might have had a small strength advantage, but Flair used her gymnastic background to get out of the holds she was put in, and her long legs to drive Taya on the defensive. RD helped Taya where he could, reaching into the ring to pull her out so that Flair missed a moonsault. The match went into gear when Taya dove through the ropes, wiping out Ashley and causing both of them to crash into the guardrail. Taya seemed to have hurt her hand in the process, but powered on. Back inside the ring, the pain caused her to take her eyes of her opponent a short while, allowing Flair to connect with the spear, following up with Natural Selection.
Ashley Flair defeated Taya after the Natural Selection in 06:22 Rating: **¼ (Ashley Flair broke her wrist. She will be out for 1 month)
Ashley gets her hands on RD As RD Evans went into the ring to check on Taya, Ashley had had enough. She took down RD and started to pummel the solicitor before cinching in the Figure Eight. As Evans screamed in pain, Nattie Neidhart ran down and pulled him out of the ring. Flair and Neidhart stared daggers at each other as the show went off the air. Rating: ***½
Show rating: ***
Show notes: Don’t forget to tune in next month, as LuKana defends their tag-team titles against the team of Young Contenders!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.04.30
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Erin Angel One of the three European wrestlers currently trying out their luck in WWN had a chance to shine against Sky here tonight. Unfortunately for her, Sky’s boyfriend, the indomitable Bully Ray did his utmost to tip the scales in favor of his girlfriend. Tripping Angel or pushing her down from the top turnbuckle. Sky picked up the victory, but Angel was the moral winner in many people’s eyes.
Bully Sky defeated Erin Angel with the In Yo Face after 03:58 Rating: ***¼
Two roses? A video airs of Rose (still out of action with a concussion) is talking to the former Juanita Solis (now called Black Rose). Rose thanks Black Rose for trying to combat the Bullies, even though she fell short. It means a lot to her. Soon, she will be back though. And if she’s to be Black Rose, she will be White Rose. Black Rose smiles and says that there is power in numbers against bullies, asking Rose if she would be interested in tagging with her. Rose is more than willing. Together, they will be known as The Roses. Rating: *¼
I yield A video of AJ Mendez walking towards her office airs. Sitting next to her door is Jessica Havock. AJ is wary, but Jessica holds out a hand and bows. Jessica says that AJ wins. She gives up. She yields to her authority. AJ smiles triumphantly, telling Havock that she made the right decision. Nobody will dare move against her now that she has the two biggest and baddest women on the roster guarding her. Nobody will catch her by surprise and, more importantly, nobody will be waiting for her in the chair when she enters. She shakes Jessica’s hand, telling her she has made the right choice. Rating: ****
Blue Nikita vs Sasha Banks Another one of the European “interns”. Blue Nikita hails from the southern country of Greece, home to many of the most famous philosophers in the world’s history. Neither Socrates or Aristotle could contend with the Boss though, picking up a quick win by submission.
Sasha Banks defeated Blue Nikita with the Bank Statement after 03:13 Rating: *
Ashley not done A video of Ashley Flair begrudgingly being allowed into AJ Mendez’ office, is shown. Flair stares daggers at Tonga Tapa and Jessica Havock for a most unpleasant pat-down before she is let in. AJ says that security has been lax around here, but now it is much better. Ashley says that she will not stop the hunt for the WWN World Title. She has been robbed every time, and AJ knows it. Ashley says that Sasha Banks will challenge for the title next. Ashley says it doesn’t matter. Sooner or later she will have Nattie where she wants her, in a fair environment with no interference. AJ tells Ashley to stop making demands. Ashley reminds AJ that she put Taya on the injury list with a broken hand, and could do so to anyone who stood against her. AJ calls for security, but as Tapa and Havock enters, Ashley puts up her hands and leaves voluntarily. Rating: ***¼
Saraya searching for Kimberly We see a video of Saraya Knight searching the back alleys of Orlando, shouting out after Kimberly. Knight is seen talking to several homeless people, who either shakes their head when shown a photo of Kimberly or points in another direction. Suddenly, we see a creature perched on top of a fire stairs, stroking what looks like a dead rat. It’s Kimberly. She talks to the rat, calling it ‘Lucy’ and telling the dead rodent that soon, she would get her revenge on the one person who caused her downfall. Who caused her to lose her job, her title opportunity, her friends.. Everything. Soon, Saraya Knight would be no more than a distant memory for wrestling historians to discuss. Soon. Very soon. Rating: *¾
Nattie not happy Another video airs of RD Evans being given a massage by a voluptuous blonde. Another, blonde, Nattie Neidhart, enters. She asks RD what he’s doing about this whole Sasha Banks-thing. RD doesn’t know what she means. Sasha has cashed in her title challenge and they will go at it in two weeks. Nattie demands that RD does something about it. She just defended her title against Ashley. RD says that it isn’t anything he can do about it. Besides, not defending the title in 30 days is cause to vacate the belt if the GM demands it. RD tells Nattie to calm down, she is much more experienced and skilled than Sasha. Nattie is furious and throws the masseuse into the wall, followed by a takedown before she puts the masseuse in the Sharpshooter. RD eggs her on, telling her that this is what will happen with Sasha in two weeks. Rating: ****¼
Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans vs Sarita - Non-title match Nattie was still fired up after her little talk with RD in the masseuse parlor, and if RD still needed some knots untied, he didn’t show it. Sarita knew that a win here would ensure her a future title match, and even a good showing against the World Champion would boost her stock in the company. An angry Nattie is obviously even more competitive than a normal one, and while Sarita did show the crowd that Neidhart isn’t the only one with a good submission game, the champ managed to cinch in the Sharpshooter and the quick submission.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Sarita with the Sharpshooter after 04:41 Rating: ****
LuKana (c) vs Young Contenders - WWN Tag Team Title Match The two young vixens of Heidi Lovelace and Donna Lee have really had their game on the last few months. Heidi reached the semi-finals of Queen of the Ring, while her partner won the whole tournament. Not bad for someone who hadn’t won a single match in WWN prior to the tournament. Their win over Sisters of No Mercy also came as a huge surprise! Handshakes all around before the bell rang in a match with duelling chants. Lee and Lovelace are riding a wave of success, but so is LuKana, who won the tag team titles on their first match in the company. Their Joshi-based offense was difficult to handle for Young Contenders, who still responded with their own hard-hitting offense. LuFisto and Kana have more experience in both singles and tag-wrestling together, and in the end, this was probably the decisive factor. A series of crisp double-team maneuvers ended with Lovelace caught in Kana’s clutches and the Kana Lock.
LuKana defeated Young Contenders when Kana made H. Lovelace submit to the Kana Lock in 11:28 Rating: *** (LuKana retained their WWN Tag Team Titles in their 3rd title defense)
Tightened security A video airs of “the Boss” Sasha Banks trying to enter AJ Mendez’ office, only to be grabbed from behind by Jessica Havock. Banks holds up her hands, saying she was just about to surprise the General Manager. AJ and Tonga then come into view, the GM telling Sasha that the days of Sasha making AJ look like a fool, is over. Next week, she and Nattie will have a title signing in the ring. Win or lose come May 14th, her pull over AJ was gone. Sasha looks AJ up and down, and the same with her bodyguards. AJ asks her what she’s thinking. Sasha says she thinks AJ doesn’t need help to look like a fool, walking around with tweedle dee and tweedle dum here. And just the fact that she feels the need to protect herself against “the Boss”, it’s clear that the pull is still in effect. As Havock is about to pummel Banks, AJ holds her back. She doesn’t want an injury preventing Sasha from challenging for the World Title. AJ reminds Sasha that it was never AJ that hired Sasha, but Dixie Carter. The special treatment ends in two weeks. Cause there is only one boss in WWN, and that’s AJ. Rating: ***

LuKana retains against Young Contenders, but they won’t be resting for long. Just in, AJ Mendez and Tonga Tapa will challenge for the tag team titles. Also, Sasha Banks and Nattie Neidhart will sign the contract for the huge world tilte match on May 14th and Saraya Knight will be in action.
Until then.

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.05.07
Tonight, LuKana defends their tag team championship against the General Manager AJ Mendez and her bodyguard, the ex-con Tonga Tapa. But first, we have a contract signing for a big World Title Match!
Contract signing The stage was set in the ring as AJ called in the WWN World Champion, Nattie Neidhart. The champ came in alongside her manager, the solicitor R.D. Evans. Next was the challenger, “The Boss” Sasha Banks. Nattie grabbed the mic first, telling Sasha that the only reason she’s getting this, is because she somehow convinced Dixie Carter of giving her the most lucrative deal ever in WWN. AJ Mendez nods agreeingly to this. She continues by saying that Sasha hasn’t earned it, and that the only reason she’s even the TV Champion, is because she blindsided and betrayed Ivelisse to win it. Sasha snatches the mic out her hands, saying that it’s clear to her that the entire Hart-family is a bunch of whiners. Sasha admits that some of her methods might seem unfair to some, but at least she fights alone. Nattie won the title as part of a group, and has kept it for months now with the help of a crooked lawyer and his fragile Frankenstein-monster client. (She is referring to Taya, who is currently out with a broken wrist). And while the people boo her, they love Sasha Banks. If you’re going to cheat, you got to do it like a boss. She poses after this, and the crowd cheers. Sasha signs the contract and then puts her personal stamp on the contract, just like a boss. Nattie is fuming as Sasha saunters around the ring, but signs the deal. She then lunges at Sasha with the pen, trying to stab her with it. RD is super quick and restrains her, holding her back to prevent her from poking one of Sasha’s eye out. Sasha tells RD to control his client, she might injure herself while playing. In the ring, neither Nattie, RD and AJ are happy with Sasha’s attitude, but the crowd is loving it. Rating: ***
Black Rose w/White Rose vs Shanna Rose is on her way back after her injury, and was ringside here with her friend and new tag team partner. They are dressed in similar fashion, but respectively in black and white attire. Black Rose is a tremendous athletic talent, showcasing her jumping ability to great lengths in the short match against her opponent tonight. When White Rose is medically cleared, we will have a new tag-team to look out for!
Black Rose defeated Shanna with the Rose Splash in 01:38 Rating: ****
The Sisters not happy A video is shown of an angry Athena pacing backstage, causing her sister to tell her to calm down, she’s making her dizzy. Athena says that it’s not acceptable that team after team gets a title shot at LuKana, but not them. Kong says that they had their chance, but blew it. Athena says she doesn’t accept that that’s it. She says they need to let AJ Mendez know their not done. Kong nods, and says that whoever wins tonight’s title match, needs to get ready for the match of their life. Rating: *
Crazy cleaning lady Backstage, Sarona Snuka is talking to one of the European girls visiting here this month, the Greek Blue Nikita. She tosses away a banana peel, but misses the trash can. A cleaning lady nearby asks if Snuka is about to pick it up, but Snuka just waves the cleaning lady away. The cleaning lady then lunges at Snuka, punching away at her and throwing her into the wall. We see that it is Kimberly! Kimberly picks up the trash can and knocks over Blue Nikita with it. She mumbles to herself about picking up the trash, kicking Snuka in the face to prevent her from getting up. Kimberly is just getting weirder and weirder! Rating: *½
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Mia Yim - Top Contender Match for the TV Title Mia Yim has said it herself that she’s the next WWN TV Champion, but “the Boss” Sasha Banks still felt Mia had to prove herself before getting a new title shot. Well, Mia has been on a winning streak as of late, but this was an official top contenders match for the TV Title. Cheered on by her boyfriend, Sky was on the offensive from the get go. She couldn’t secure the quick win, and resorted to cheap shots to wear Mia down. Yim responded with a series of kicks and suplexes. An accident happened when Bully Ray tried to restrain Mia. Yim pulled free, causing Sky to crash into Ray. Mia was quick to roll up Sky for the win.
Mia Yim defeated Bully Sky with a roll up after 04:19 Rating: *½
Ivelisse vs Saraya Knight As Mia Yim is officially made the top contender for the TV Title, we learn that the date is set - Pretty Amazing May 29th! In our next match, former TV Champion Ivelisse is trying to get her career back on track against Saraya Knight. The matron mother of British women wrestling wants to get back in the swing of things after her injury, and made this extremely difficult for Ivelisse. It didn’t take too long for Knight to cinch in the Bridal Rocking Chair, forcing the submission for the Puerto Rican.
Saraya Knight defeated Ivelisse when Ivelisse submitted to the Bridal Rocking Chair in 03:55 Rating: *¾
Kimberly attacks A fan wearing a WWN hoodie jumps the guardrail and gets into the ring, attacking Saraya from behind. Knight fights back, pulling the hoodie off and revealing Kimberly. The anger and fire in Kimberly’s eyes isn’t anything you can talk to or reason with, and Knight and Kimberly started exchanging right hands. Knight got the upper hand, eventually clotheslining Kimberly out of the ring. She tried to goad Kimberly into the ring again, but the deranged women simply smiled and jumped back over the guardrail, disappearing into the crowd. Rating: **
Trouble in Paradise A video is shown of Bully Ray and Bully Sky arguing backstage. Sky cannot believe that Ray couldn’t hold on to Mia Yim. Ray says that Mia is freakishly strong. Besides, Sky spent too much time showboating before attacking. Sky pouts, saying that without any title shots on the horizon, what she’s to do at Pretty Amazing. Ray tries to smooth things over, saying that since she’s the prettiest girl on the roster, she’s a guarantee on a show with that name. Sky smiles a fake smile, clapping Ray on the shoulder and telling him “nice try, but you’re still sleeping on the couch tonight”. Rating: ***
AJ Mendez & Tonga Tapa vs LuKana (c) for the WWN Tag Team Titles LuKana is certainly showing a fighting spirit, defending their titles for the third time in a month. The General Manager, AJ Mendez, has started to get hungry for more than administrative power, teaming up with her bodyguard, the undefeated ex-con Tonga Tapa. AJ let Tonga do most of the heavy lifting, but even the powerhouse needed respite when the teamwork from LuKana became too much for her. Many have forgotten that AJ Mendez is a former champion in other organizations, and even though she doesn’t wrestle full time, she has a trick or two up her sleeve. Only a well-timed saved by Kana prevented AJ from pinning LuFisto following a Shining Wizard. In the chaos that ensued, Tonga and AJ didn’t catch the blind tag from Kana and didn’t see the cross-body from the Japanese superstar.
LuKana defeated AJ & Tonga when Kana pinned AJ after a flying cross body in 07:28 Rating: * (LuKana retained their WWN Tag Team Titles in their 4th title defense)
The Sisters make their presence known As AJ and Tonga were arguing with the referee over what they saw as a big mistake on his part (there was no tag!), Awesome Kong and Athena ran in, attacking LuKana from behind. Kong happened to shove Kana into Tonga Tapa, earning Kong the ire of the ex-con. AJ was careful to pull Tonga out of the ring in time though, as the two witnessed LuKana and the Sisters of No Mercy really tearing it apart in the ring. The competition for the WWN Tag Team Titles is really heating up! Rating: ***

Show notes: Next week, Sasha Banks goes all in when she challenges Nattie Neidhart for the WWN World Title. Also, we have been told that Kimberly will be in action. Tune in!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.05.14
Tonight, it’s finally time for “the Boss” Sasha Banks to cash in the third of her promised title matches when she goes one on one with the WWN World Champion, Nattie Neidhart. This, and more, tonight on Saturday Night Showdown!
Not done A video from AJ Mendez’ office shows the General Manager and her two bodyguards, Tonga Tapa and Jessica Havock reviewing the video of last week’s title match against LuKana. With them in the room is also Bryce Remsburg, the referee in the match. The footage clearly shows Kana making the blind tag. AJ stops the video, turns to Bryce and tells him that he apparently did the right thing, and that he can keep his job. AJ then turns to her bodyguards, saying that this is not over. All these one-off matches she has been having makes her want to hold gold once again in her career. Tonga Tapa promises to make AJ’s dream come true, even if she has to butcher everyone in her path. A knock is heard, and Havock lets in LuFisto and Kana. AJ tells the champs that they have a new tag title match next week. LuFisto asks if it’s coincidentally against them. AJ looks hurt, saying that she would never abuse her position like that. No, the title match is against Black Rose and her new partner, the returning Rose, now calling herself White Rose. They’re facing The Roses! Rating: **
Serena & Sarona vs Sisters of No Mercy The tag team division is hotter than ever, and while Kong and Athena may feel that the are the rightful champions, they have to contend with several other teams just to get a title shot. And with The Roses getting a title shot right of the bat next week, the path seems even longer for the former champions. Both Serena and Sarona Snuka have been struggling as of late, and their new partnership continued in the same vein. It wasn’t like they totally broke down, it was simply a case of not being as synced as the sisters. The No Mercy Bomb is a neckbreaker->power bomb combo that will ground just about anyone.
Sisters of No Mercy defeated Serena & Sarona Snuka with the No Mercy Bomb in 03:38 Rating: ***
Mia Yim gains an agent We see a video of former WWN announcer SoCal Val asking backstage of a minute of Mia’s time. She tells Mia that she has just gotten her manager’s license, and has decided to make Mia her first client. Mia asks why she would want a manager. She defeated Serena in the best of 5 series all on her own. She got herself not one, but two TV Title shots, all on her own. SoCal Val admits she’s right, but beating Serena, a former World Champion, should have gotten her a World Title shot. And she should have gotten the TV Title match automatically, not via a top contenders match. Mia says she’s got a point. Val tells Mia she’s scheduled a meeting with AJ now, and that she will add a couple of demands to her title match at Pretty Amazing. Looks like Mia has got herself a new manager! Rating: *¾
Ivelisse vs Kimberly We haven’t seen Kimberly in action for a long time, not since she was suspended by AJ Mendez for not being able to take care of Brooke Tessmacher for her. Kimberly snapped after this, blaming Saraya Knight for ruining her shot at the World Title and therefore, her life. Knight is back in WWN now after her injury, and coincidentally, so is Kimberly. This was her first match in a while, but living on the streets have made her tougher than ever, and she picked up the win here tonight with her gory special.
Kimberly defeated Ivelisse with the Shuttle 151 in 04:28 Rating: **
SoCal Val makes her demands At AJ Mendez’ office, Jessica Havock lets SoCal Val into AJ Mendez’ office. AJ tells her to make this quick, she has both Saraya and Kimberly in the same building and she needs to go over the security detail. SoCal mentions that she is the new manager of Mia Yim, and that she needs a couple of things for Pretty Amazing. First off, Mia needs her own locker room. Secondly, she would prefer the TV Title match first on the card. It’s better to get it over with, for the nerves. AJ looks disinterested at Val, telling her that she will change with the rest of the midcarders and the TV Title match will be whenever she decides to. Val is about to protest, but when she looks up at Tonga Tapa and Jessica Havock, she smiles and says that it sounds like a perfect idea. Rating: ¾*
Black Rose w/White Rose vs Saraya Knight Next week, the tag team of The Roses debuts when White Rose is cleared medically to wrestle. Tonight, Black Rose faced off against Saraya Knight, and had more than enough to deal with. Saraya is, even on her good days, a brutal woman who likes to inflict pain and harm on her opponents. She likes to punch, kick and stomp away at them, nothing fancy, but it works. Black Rose tried her kicks and jumps, but Saraya almost seemed impervious to pain tonight in this short match.
Saraya Knight defeated Black Rose with the sit-out powerbomb in 02:52 Rating: ***¼
Kimberly appears A disheveled Kimberly struck just moments after the bell rang, knocking out White Rose on the outside before attacking Saraya in the ring. Saraya fought back, sending Kimberly out of the ring. As the two exchanged fists outside of the ring, AJ Mendez came down with Tonga Tapa and Jessica Havock. As the two bodyguards restrained Kimberly, AJ managed to talk down Saraya Knight - by promising to put them in a match at Pretty Amazing, a Streetfight! In 15 days, this ends! Rating: *¾
Interview with the Boss A pre-taped interview with Josh Matthews talking to “the Boss” Sasha Banks, airs. Josh asks Sasha if she thinks her demands of 3 title matches was, perhaps, a little too much. Banks denies this, saying that she was a star where she was, and she will be a star here too. The current top dogs just need a little time to realize they’re not the biggest fish in the pond anymore. Suddenly, a sound assistant can be heard telling someone that this is off limits. Seconds later, Mia Yim appears on the set, and Sasha gets right up to her feet, demanding to know who she thinks she is. Yim stabs a finger in her chest, telling her that she’s spreading herself too thin. She forgets she needs to deal with her first. Sasha realizes Mia might have won a top contenders match, but she has no right interrupting her interview. Yim wishes Sasha good luck tonight. Come Pretty Amazing, she has to face her for the TV Title. And if she wins, she’ll probably need to defend both belts in one night. And we all know what happened to the last one who tried to wrestle two title matches in one night. She lost. Both matches. Sasha smiles condescendingly, telling Mia that people like her come and go and will never be remembered. But there is only one Boss. Rating: ***
Nattie Neidhart (c) w/RD Evans vs Sasha Banks for the WWN World Title Champion vs champion in tonight’s main event as “the Boss” challenged the 3rd generation superstar. Sasha’s no-nonsense style and in-your-face attitude caught Nattie unawares at first, driving Nattie on the defensive and forcing her to seek refuge on the outside with RD Evans. RD even tried to distract the referee in order for Nattie to try some shenanigans, but Sasha beat Nattie to it, raking her eyes and taking her down with the Bank Statement! Nattie was a little too close to the ropes, and Sasha broke the hold. The match continued on, both wrestlers going for their finisher submissions, countering and re-reversing each other’s attempts. As Banks finally cinched in the Bank Statement in the middle of the ring, Mia Yim’s music suddenly started playing. Sasha let go to defend herself from what was clearly a vicious ambush from her rival, and alongside the referee, they looked towards the entrance. Nobody came, and Sasha turned right into a belt shot from Nattie! The referee was still turned towards the entrance, but when RD Evans signalled to him, he turned around and counted the 3-count. Nattie Neidhart is still the champion, and Sasha has burned all her title shots! Luckily for her, she’s still the WWN TV Champion, and Mia Yim better look out to Pretty Amazing!
Nattie Neidhart defeated Sasha Banks by pinfall in 10:18 Rating:***¼ (Nattie Neidhart retained the WWN World Title in her 5th title defense)
Not enough for Nattie Defeating Sasha was obviously not enough for Nattie, who promptly put her in the Sharpshooter after the match. As Sasha writhed in pain, RD Evans was gloating on the outside, asking her who was the boss now? The crowd sudenly started cheering as Ashley Flair ran down to the ring, decking RD with a clothesline on her way. As she got in the ring, Nattie let go and rolled out, grabbing RD on her way out. As she was shouting to Ashley to mind her own business, Sasha got back up and immediately shoved Flair away, not wanting or needing her help. It was tense moment, but it is clear that Ashley does not feel finished with Nattie Neidhart or the WWN World Title. Rating: **
Show rating: **½
Show notes: It’s really brewing up to be an exciting iPPV at Pretty Amazing in two weeks’ time. Next week, LuKana will defend their tag team titles against the debuting team of The Roses!

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.05.21
Main event set A clip from last week’s main event is shown, as Nattie retained her WWN World Title against Sasha Banks, followed by the beatdown from the champion and save by Ashley Flair. A save Sasha didn’t appreciate at all. We then go to a video from AJ Mendez’ office. The General Manager welcomes Sasha, who declines AJ’s offer of a drink. AJ says that Sasha is not making friends easily. Even those who saves her is shunned. Sasha smirks, saying that in this game, you cannot have any friends or trust anybody. AJ says that tonight, she has to trust someone, as she will team up with Ashley Flair to take on Nattie Neidhart and Mia Yim in the tag team main event. Rating: ***¼
Amanda Rodriguez vs Kimberly In eight days, the animosity between Kimberly and Saraya Knight comes to and in a Street Fight at Pretty Amazing. The deranged Kimberly showed that she is fully without remorse or compassion as she dismantled Rodriguez from the start, briefly venturing outside to show the crowd what she intends to do with Knight. She hit the Shuttle 151 to knock Rodriguez out for the 3.
Kimberly defeated Amanda Rodriguez with the Shuttle 151 in 02:48 Rating: **½
I’ll have your back A video airs from the backstage locker room, where Heidi Lovelace is preparing for her match. Her friend and tag-team partner Donna Lee is preparing her mentally for the fight and sparring with her. Heidi says it’s time to go to the ring, and the two friend hug. Donna says she’ll have her back, she’ll always have her back. Heidi smiles back, saying that goes both ways. As Heidi walks out of the locker room, Donna’s stare lingers on Heidi leaving, and the Queen of the Ring bites her lip. Rating: *½
Heidi Lovelace vs Sarita This was a fast-paced and competitive match that easily could have swung both ways. The early chain-wrestling caused a stand-off and a deserved cheer from the crowd. As Sarita tried to wear Heidi down manipulating Lovelace’s joints, Heidi went for a power game, using suplexes and kicks to down the Canadian. As Sarita finally cinched in the chickenwing submission, Heidi bridged backwards and somehow managed to hold Sarita’s shoulders down for the 3. Sarita must have kicked herself for that, but still managed to shake Heidi’s hand after the match. From the entrance ramp, Donna Lee clapped proudly for her friend.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Sarita by pinfall in 04:20 Rating: ***¼
A Pretty Amazing announcement The WWN Tag Team Champions, LuKana, enter AJ Mendez’ office. LuFisto seems annoyed, and lets AJ know just that. She tells her that they’re just about to have a match, what is so important it cannot wait? AJ smiles, telling LuKana it was important that they got this news before their tag team title match. For whoever wins tonight’s bout, will have to contend with herself and Tonga Tapa at Pretty Amazing. LuFisto nods, saying it doesn’t matter how many teams she puts them against or how many times she goes for the titles. They will fail, as will every other team that walks out into that ring. AJ wishes them good luck. Rating: ****
LuKana (c’s) vs The Roses for the WWN Tag Team Titles White Rose and Black Rose are finally together as a team! One is dressed in white, the other in black. Wearing opposite-colored domino masks and capes, they are the sexiest superheroines since Wonder Woman. Lufisto and Kana seemed intrigued by their opponents, and handshakes and hugs were exchanged before the match. This was not only their first match as a team, it was also White Rose’s first match back from injury. Taking on the dominant tag team champs was perhaps not the wisest choice, but you don’t say no to a title opportunity like this. Using quick tags and some innovative double-team maneuvers, The Roses were able to control LuFisto for a couple of minutes before the champs made the tag and they both went crazy with kicks, forearms and a cannonball from LuFisto. The Roses never got their bearings after that, and White Rose ended up in Kana’s clutches.
LuKana defeated The Roses when Kana made White Rose submit to the Kana Lock in 06:58 Rating: ***
Plans are laid Backstage, Nattie Neidhart is preparing for her tag team main event with RD Evans. Evans tells her client that he has spoken with Mia Yim’s representative, So Cal Val, and that all is good. It is in both women’s interest to show strength and to win this tag team match. Still, just to make sure, RD has a backup plan. The enforcer, Taya, walks in at this point. Nattie tells Taya she counts on her if Yim is not able to pull her part of the wagon. Rating: ***¾
We won’t take no for an answer! We see a video from backstage where Sisters of No Mercy, Athena and Awesome Kong, try to get a meeting with AJ Mendez. Jessica Havock tells them that she is busy and don’t have time for the likes of them. Athena brushes past Havock and is on her way into AJ’s office, when Tonga grabs her and forearms her in the face. Kong clubs her from behind, and Havock throws herself into the tumults. It soon becomes ugly, Havock slamming Athena against the wall, then choking her out. Kong decks Havock with a spinning backfist, but runs into a boot from Tapa. The Tongan grabs Kong by the hair, telling her to make an appointment the next time. Rating: ***3/4
Mia Yim & Nattie Neidhart w/So Cal Val & RD Evans vs Sasha Banks & Ashley Flair The ringside area was crowded as So Cal Val, RD and Taya accompanied the makeshift tag team. Before the match started, Sasha Banks grabbed the microphone, asking to see Taya’s manager’s license. RD protested vehemently, but the referee did throw Taya out. Even though they didn’t see eye to eye last week, Sasha and Flair worked well together in the start of the match, whipping both Yim and Neidhart around the ring. Sasha is already scheduled to face Mia Yim for the TV Title at Pretty Amazing, and while nothing has been set yet, Ashley Flair is clearly not done with Nattie. It was So Cal Val distracting Sasha that caused the tides to turn, and her brilliant managing earned her a pat on the back from RD Evans. After enduring double-team after double-team, Sasha made the tag to Ashley. Flair was doing OK in the ring until Nattie and Mia decided to attack her simultaneously. Sasha was on her way in, when Taya ran in and pulled Banks from the apron, throwing her into the barricades. Isolated and alone, Flair succumbed to the double-team beatdown, being forced to submit to the Sharpshooter once more.
Mia Yim & Nattie Neidhart defeated Sasha Banks & Ashley Flair when Neidhart made Flair submit to the Sharpshooter in 08:23 Rating: ***¾
Beatdown and… save? Taya joined Mia and Nattie Neidhart in the ring kicking and stomping down on Ashley Flair as RD Evans and So Cal Val were watching, laughing and talking together. Sasha Banks was back on her feet, and as she looked poised to hit the ring, Mia Yim beckoned her in. Sasha thought better of it, and didn’t actually look like she cared that Ashley Flair was being AGAIN put in the Sharpshooter. She yelled at Mia that she would see her in 8 days. Rating: ***

WWN - Saturday Night Showdown - 2016.05.28
Welcome to another action-packed episode of Saturday Night Showdown! Tomorrow night is Pretty Amazing, and we will have an announcement regarding the World Title match tonight. After what happened last week, Sasha Banks will face Taya one-on-one in our main event. Also, Tara will be back after being sidelined for months with injuries!
Thanks for nothing! Tonight’s show opened with a video from backstage, where Sasha Banks is surprised by Ashley Flair coming out of a door and pushing her up against a wall. Ashley says “thanks for the help last week”, as she lashes out verbally against someone who was supposed to be her partner. Sasha headbutts Ashley before locking her in a sleeperhold. Sasha tells Ashley that it wasn’t anything personal, but she might make it personal if Flair insists. Sasha says that she has allegiance to one person and only one person - herself. Putting herself at risk attacking three people for a stranger. Not going to happen. Flair elbows Banks in the ribs and hits her with a high knee. The two are at a standstill, both licking their wounds. Sasha tells Ashley she hopes she gets another chance at the world title. And when she does, she will be first in line to take it from her. Like a boss. Rating: ***
World Title Match set RD Evans is visiting AJ’s office, taking great liberties with a bowl of nuts on her desk. When he’s done scooping them up, AJ sarcastically asks him if he wants the rest in a doggy bag. She quickly turns to the subject of Nattie’s title defense tomorrow. AJ has thought it over, and feels that Ashley deserves one last chance. RD nods, saying that it’s starting to get stale, but whatever. AJ tells RD that too make it final, they will have a ⅔ falls match. First fall is normal. Second fall is no disqualification and the third and final fall will be submission only. Rating: **
Donna Lee w/Heidi Lovelace vs Tonga Tapa Donna was accompanied by her friend and tag team partner Heidi for this match against the undefeated Tongan monster, Tonga Tapa. The big islander used her power in the opening minutes to completely dominate Donna, but bolstered by her friend’s encouraging cheers, she fought back, forcing Tapa on the defensive. She even managed to get Tonga down on her knees, but when she went for the Yoshi Tonic, Tonga recovered and hit a spinebuster. She quickly picked the Queen of the Ring back up again, hitting the Tongan Drop for the victory.
Tonga Tapa defeated Donna Lee with the Tongan Drop in 03:51 Rating:****
The champ not worried A video airs of the WWN World Champion driving around with RD Evans in a limousin. She has recently been informed about the World Title match taking place tomorrow. Nattie says she’s not worried. If anything, this favorises her. She has RD ringside in the no-dq part of the match, and the Sharpshooter is her strongest weapon. RD warns her of taking Ashley lightly. The Figure Eight is a powerful move and Nattie might have enemies that want to see her downfall. Nattie doesn’t seem worried, trusting RD to make the necessary precautions. Rating: ***
Bully Sky w/Bully Ray vs Serena The “power couple” of WWN, as the Bullies like to call themselves, were up against the veteran Serena in our next match. Two seasoned wrestlers trying to cling to the top in an industry where everyone is trying to use them as stepping stones to greater achievements. Ray didn’t hesitate to get in the mix, pulling Serena out of the ring and smashing her head against the turnbuckle when the ref was distracted by Sky. Serena endured a lot of punishment after that one, but when Bully had her poised for the pedigree, the former world champion twisted out of it and hit a small package to win. The bullies were enraged, as this victory was clearly stolen away from them underneath their very noses.
Serena defeated Bully Sky with a small package in 06:18 Rating:****
She returns! A new video from AJ Mendez’ office airs. This time, it’s the return of Tara! AJ welcomes her back to the show and asks how she’s feeling. Tara says she feels better, but in her age, concussions and bicep tears are not to be trifled with. It takes time to heal, both physically and mentally. AJ asks if Tara is interested in a match tomorrow. The doctor has cleared her medically, but the ring rust is perhaps still an issue? Tara says that she would like to have some time in the ring with a microphone, but that she doesn’t feel ready for a match just yet. AJ nods in agreement, saying that it’s good for business nonetheless, and with a microphone, she can easily challenge whoever she wants for later or make her intentions clear. The two shake hands and agree that they both look forward to tomorrow. Rating: ****
Heidi Lovelace w/Donna Lee vs Jessica Havock The other bodyguard of AJ Mendez was in action next, facing Heidi Lovelace. Lovelace has had great success as of late, and with her good friend and tag team partner Donna Lee by her side, the sky is the limit. After receiving a long and hearfelt ‘good luck’ hug from Donna, she was resolutely clotheslined by Havock. J-Hav dominated Lovelace for a couple of minutes, grinning and smiling to Donna on the outside. Lee looked frightened for the well-being of her friend, and while she didn’t get involved, it was her presence and Havock’s taunts that allowed Heidi to fire back at her opponent. She got Havock down on her knees, but when she went for the Shining Wizard, Havock grabbed her throat and hit a huge choke slam, silencing Lovelace for the time being.

Sitdown with Kimberly D’Angelo Dinero had a very special guest tonight - Kimberly! Somebody in the make-up department had worked overtime getting Kimberly back to a semblance of herself. Still, she didn’t look mentally all there, chewing on her fingernails and looking nervously around herself. Eventually, the Pope managed to get Kimberly to open up. Kimberly says it all started when Saraya Knight got her arrested by provoking a fight with a cop as a witness. She lost her title shot. Then she put Knight on the shelf - but not for good. And her inability to get back the time she lost, and being unable to forget the days in prison.. It all was just a little too much. She was suspended, she lost her apartment. Kimberly starts sobbing at this point. She then starts screaming, clawing at the Pope and telling him and the camera that tomorrow night, all her torment would vanish as she would end the plague that is Saraya Knight. No more nightmares, no more voices, no more flashbacks to what she had to endure in prison. The Pope needs help from a couple of crew members to drag the enraged Kimberly away. Rating: ****½
Sasha Banks vs Taya w/RD Evans - Non title match Taya interfered in last week’s main event, attacking Sasha on the outside and preventing her from coming to the aid of her tag team partner, Ashley Flair. Banks didn’t like that at all, as could easily be seen by her intensity in the early goings of the match. Taya has both the size and strength advantage, but “the Boss” fights like a well-groomed pitbull when angered. She kicked out of all of Taya’s power moves, gave back in kind and had almost secured the submission win when RD Evans put Taya’s foot on the rope. After being tipped off by Sasha, the referee was yelling at RD to keep his hands away from the ring. As RD professed his innocence, Mia Yim ran in, entered the ring and hit Sasha with the Kick Me Goodnight. Taya climbed up top and hit a moonsault, squashing Sasha’s body and knocking the wind out of her for the win.

Don’t you feel bad? We see a video of Saraya Knight watching a movie at a local theater. Suddenly, AJ Mendez sits next to her. Saraya offers her some popcorn, then comments that she didn’t know she was a fan of the movies. AJ ignores the question, asking Saraya if she’s ever felt guilty about Kimberly. It all went downhill for her, and many may argue that Saraya is to blame. Knight admits that getting her in jail was perhaps a drastic step, but she needed to reduce the number of opponents before her Through the Gates of Hell match. Knight then turns the tables, reminding AJ that SHE was the one who suspended Kimberly over not being able to defeat one of her enemies. If anyone was to blame, it was her. AJ shakes her head, putting an end to the discussion by saying she had already lost it at that point. AJ leaves Saraya with a final word of advice. If she wants to make sure Kimberly’s sanity never sees the light of day again, she does her best and wins tomorrow. If she has any compassion at all. Well, she knows what to do. Rating: ****
