NAWA Glory 1/25/2010:
The NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Paul London enters Amanda Sinclair’s office. The 2010 Cruiser Cup Tournament will take place over the next couple of weeks. The winner will receive a shot at Paul London at Reality Check on March 14th. London wants a big match to showcase his talents, and Sinclair gives him a pretty big match, no bigger than the 2010 Luck of the Draw winner, Miles Stylish.
We have Sederick Skyhawk coming out to open the show. He demands the NAWA Owner Amanda Sinclair come out, because otherwise no matches are going to take place. He wants to be included in the NAWA World Title Match at Luck of the Draw. Out comes Sinclair, with security. Skyhawk states he beat Miles Stylish on four consecutive occasions. Sinclair says it doesn’t matter, Skyhawk was thrown out decisively in the Luck of the Draw Match. Therefore, there’s no match for Skyhawk. Skyhawk blows up and he yells he’s going home if Sinclair can’t put him in the match. Sinclair tells him to take his ball, go home, do what he wants to. This is her show and there’s no one big man. Skyhawk yells she’ll be sorry when letting her shining star leave like this.
Things get cleared up as Glory kicks off with the first round match at the Cruiserweight Cup Tournament. Ricochet made his NAWA debut defeating the returning Brian Kendrick. Kendrick had the Sliced Bread #2 blocked, and Ricochet snapped off a springboard kick before putting Kendrick away with a corkscrew moonsault in 12:22(*** ½)
Ricochet advances into the semi-finals of the 2010 Cruiser Cup Tournament with a huge win over Brian Kendrick tonight on Glory.
MsChif scored an impressive win over Tara. Tara is looking to position herself for an NAWA Women’s Title Shot. MsChif used the red mist on Tara, and then a brain buster to pin her in 10:00(**)
Kurt Angle comes out, talking about how he lost his chance to become NAWA World Champion. He’s going to have to work back up, but he will be the champion again.
“Ladies and Gentleman, making his debut tonight, he is 6 feet three inches tall, he weighs in at two hundred and forty points, he hails from Green Bay, Wisconsin….he’s…..Mr……Anderson…….Anderson!”
Out comes Ken Anderson from the back. Anderson says the New Age Wrestling Alliance should stop the presses, because he’s graced them with his presence. Anderson says Angle needs to get to the back of the line, because there’s only one man at the front of the line, and that’s Mr. Anderson! Angle warns Anderson how he just can’t step into this company, and say he’s going to be a top tier act. Anderson says he can and he’s going to make an impression tonight.
Slap to the face of Kurt Angle. Angle takes down Anderson with a double leg takedown, and out comes security to break these two apart. Mr. Anderson has made some friends tonight, on his first night on the job.

Kevin Steen walks down to the ring, the NAWA International Title Belt draped over his shoulder. He explains how Bryan Danielson relinquished this title when he left the company, and it’s just been sitting around collecting dust. Therefore, Steen swiped the belt from the office, and is now the NAWA International Champion. Out comes Amanda Sinclair, saying Steen’s given her an idea. He’s not the champion, but he’ll have a chance to win the belt. Last Sunday, El Generico returned and attacked Kevin Steen. And AJ Styles has been getting involved as of late with Steen. And considering Sinclair knows Daniels and Steen are associates, and Daniels has been getting involved a lot, she’s thrown Daniels into the mix. A Fatal Four Way Match for the NAWA International Title is going to take place right now.
The NAWA International Title officially goes into the camp of Kevin Steen when he beats AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and El Generico in a fatal four way match. Generico wipes out himself and Daniels. Steen catches Styles on a springboard forearm smash and kicks him low before pulling out the Package Piledriver for the pin in 15:23(****)
Steen holds up the NAWA International Title Belt. Generico tries to enter the ring. Daniels grabs Generico’s leg and Steen nails him in the side of the head with the NAWA International Title Belt. Steen stands over Generico, holding the International Title Belt up in a token of victory.
Mr. Anderson has a few words backstage. He says he could have just respectfully walked into this company and started winning matches, but no one would have really noticed him. He walked up to a former NAWA world Champion and Olympic Gold Medalist, and slapped the taste out of his mouth. If had to do it again, the only thing he would do differently is hit Angle harder. And that’s the thing that’s real, and what’s real is Mr. Anderson….ANDERSON!
Miles Stylish triumphed in a back and forth match against Paul London. London missed a moonsault, and Stylish stages the comeback until hitting the Las Vegas Trauma(after London countered the first one earlier into a reverse DDT), and pins the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion in 15:50(****)
Miles Stylish will finally get a one on one NAWA World Title Shot at March 14th at Reality Check, and it will be against Nigel McGuinness, a man he knows all too well. McGuinness stands at the ramp and holds up the belt to taunt Stylish from afar. We fade to black on this note.
