It would appear that Oliver MAY be working on getting TNM working on modern Operating Systems, as well as updating text in game. Check out this post from his Facebook.

Man, this is a relief. I finally got a few free minutes and decided I'd poke around with updating AWE like I've been working on off and on for ages (mostly off, unfortunately) so I went back into the code from AWE earlier this morning and thought to myself "Holy shit, what a goddamn mess...what am I going to do with this." Now the best is being revived and I don't have to worry about it (though I may still tinker around with it a bit...)

Awesome, I think it might be a long shot but I wonder if maybe this could help attract new players. Anyways it's great to see him doing this

I for one would LOVE to see what you can do with it currently.

It needs a total rework. Almost nothing outside of the GUI code is optimal.

Just got the itch for TNM again and fired it up in dosbox. Oliver updating this for windows would be absolutely huge. This is a very pleasant surprise.

I'm working on a new program (a companion tool for the upcoming Fire Prowrestling game), which could actually be used in large parts to create an AWE update. However, I wouldn't have any time to really work on AWE until this coming summer, if it does indeed happen.

Wow, been a while since I've lurked on these boards. Would love to see a new TNM on windows. Every once in a while the itch returns to book something. That would make things so much easier .

I actually never gave TNM up. I took a brief hiatus as technology raced away from it. But recently, I purchased an old computer tower with Windows XP with the sole purpose of it being my TNM machine. Would love to see some of The more modern guys added to the exports.
