PWInsider is reporting that the original plan for this year's 2010 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony to feature former WWF Champion The Ultimate Warrior as the "star" inductee. Warrior reportedly agreed to be inducted, but then made a decision last week to pull out.

I think it will still happen sooner or later. Warrior and WWE are on the best terms with each other they've been for years, and WWE needs major names every year, and Warrior is one of the few available so far.

I'm surprised Warrior ever agreed to this. Besides all the problems he's famously had in the past with them including the lawsuit over the name and the whole DVD release burying him, there's also the little part where WARRIOR IS BATSHIT INSANE.
Seriously, I want that guy to donate his brain to science to determine if he has damage or a deformity or something.

Saw this on the Sescoops site:
Ultimate Warrior was asked to headline this year’s ceremony since it’s taking place in his hometown of Phoenix. Warrior himself publicly stated last year he would be willing to do it, but a deal could not be reached, believed to be due to money.
