Hi all - Since installing the latest build, I get the following every time I launch it: The red DOSBOX logo window appears, but never goes through the command prompts to actually get me into the TNM control center. There is a second window that launches the wrapper service, which currently says it's waiting on two MP3 files. Oddly, my two older versions of TNM no longer launch either. I can't even get to a DOSBOX command prompt. Is there anything I can do to DOSBOX Config to get me into the program? Thanks.

I believe the simplest way to go about this is to ZIP up your TNM folder and send it my way (support@tnm7.com), either directly or via a service like WeTransfer.com.
Hopefully I'll have the same issue with your copy because I can then see what's causing it. If it works here, you're pretty much SOL. If this started going bad recently and you're using Win10, there is a chance that the most recent Windows auto-update blocks DOSBOX.
But let's cross that bridge when we get there.

I think Windows updated the past week. I say this as I have had similar bugs with it now. Even after uninstall reinstall didn't work.

I just installed the updates from last week on my Win10, and DOSBOX and TNM are starting without issue. porch1976 - what is the exact wording used on the wrapper service window? Would you please have a screenshot for me? Either of you - the best way so I can help you is if you sent a zipped version of your TNM folder my way. I'm taking stabs at the a dark void here.

Hi tnmlyger , Just saw this, so sorry for the delay. Here is the screenshot showing the issue I'm having with the red DOSBOX window that won't go away and the wrapper service window. I will definitely try to zip up my TNM and send it to you.

Okay. Thank you. What I can tell already is that the listener window is doing what it is supposed to. So the problem isn't originating there.
Yes, please do send me your TNM... it's really important so I can help you. Or at least try to help. If it turns out that your TNM works fine on my system, it is most likely beyond my control.
What I'll do in that case is update DOSBOX to the latest version on your copy and then return it. I wouldn't recommend updating to a different DOSBOX version because the one shipped with TNM has a few modifications needed for text-based programs.

I found a solution. I removed the other instances of DropBox on my system (and an older build of TNM), reinstalled the latest build, and now I can get the program to run after I restarted my computer. I had reinstalled a few times previously, so the magic step must have been deleting the other DropBox exe in the older build. There must have been some kind of conflict there.
Before I removed the older build, I copied my circuit folders to another location. Is there any way to easily add those to the new TNM directory post-install?

Hmmm... that's odd since every installation is a virtual machine. I'm glad this worked for you but it's a case of correlation rather than causation. There simply is no way how one installation could possibly interfere with another since they are all in their individual sandboxes.
That said - if the last several weeks have taught us anything, then it is to never say never :-)
You could have just imported your old copy's data into the new copy when installing. There's an option in the installer for that.
Did you back up the full installation or just the circuit folders? At the very minimum, I'd need the circuit folders AND the DATA folder to create a new working copy. And I'd have to do it manually.
Please use the built-in backup functionality to ensure you have everything you need. It's darn near impossible to regrow a TNM from just the circuit folders. Easily 8-10 hours of work.
