General Winter pinned Missouri Mauler with the Nuclear Winter in 0:04:11. Rating: 1/4*
Frank Gresham interviews Lance Catamaran who challenges Wolfie Brown to a match at Fall Brawl. Lance wants revenge for Wolfie embarassing him on the MTV special last month.
The Detroit Connection (Joe Dean and Steve Hecker) defeated Gonzalo Hicks and Frederic Clay when Hecker pinned Hicks with a German suplex in 0:06:00. Rating: * 1/2
Willy Richter pinned Rocky Hendrix with the Earthshaker in 0:02:50. Rating: DUD
[TV Title Tournament Quarterfinals]: Joachim Farkas made Stroker Ace submit to the Hungarian Claw in 0:04:51. Rating: -*
Farkas ran wild in this brawl. After getting his hand raised in victory, The Hungarian Wolfman went after Stroker for more punishment, but Randy "The Ram" Robinson hit the ring to send Farkas running his tail between his legs.
Robinson joined Frank Gresham at the interview set and said he wants to face The Hungarian Wolfman at Fall Brawl. He's willing to put the World Heavyweight Title on the line, if a maniac like Farkas cares about championships.
"Million Dollar" Stan Trump, flanked by "The Tongan Terror" Isaeli Kaelo, joined Gresham and Robinson. Robinson asked if Trump is behind Farkas' behavior. Trump replied a wild animal is a potent weapon that you merely need to steer in the right direction. Robinson promises Million Dollar Stan their business isn't finished yet.
Robinson passes Bruiser Barton who wants to know why Kaelo saved Scott Free. Trump replies that every man has a price, but sometimes that price involves goods or services rather than a cash transaction. Free wanted protection and Trump had a "prime asset" who could provide such a service. Barton lays out a challenge to Kaelo to face him one on one at Fall Brawl, then adds the warning that if Trump gets involved in the match no bodyguard can save him.
Jimmy Blast pinned Buck Hamato with the Gourdbuster in 0:07:31. Rating: ***
Blast challenged Eddie Fargo to face him at Fall Brawl.

WCWF Saturday Night - Aug 18, 1984 Metropolitan Sports Center, Bloomington, MN (taped, broadcast nationally on TBS)
Bobby Jackson pinned Carmine Gardner with the Jackson Five in 0:04:22. Rating: DUD
Frank Gresham interviews "Strongman" Rick Samson. Samson has a bye in the TV Title Tournament Semifinals due to the Massimo-Richter quarterfinals ending in a double countout. Samson says he didn't earn that bye so taking the week off would be unfair to whoever his opponent is in the finals. He wants a match tonight. Gresham asks for a prediction about who his opponent will be: Salmanca or Farkas? Samson says he respects Salmanca and thinks the two of them would have a very good match, no matter who won. But Farkas is a lunatic, and that makes him dangerous.
Bruiser Barton pinned Ignacio Mercer with the Big Boot in 0:03:07. Rating: * 1/2
Jake Blackheart made Chad Too Badd submit to the Blackout in 0:11:08. Rating: * 1/2
After the match, Frank Gresham waved Blackheart over to the interview set and informed him there were some guys who wanted a word. Out came Angus Clarke and Duncan Clarke aka AC-DC. Angus says not only are they the best two-man AC/DC cover band in Australian, they've also done a bit of tag team wrestling in the land down under. They challenge Blackheart to find a partner and face them at Fall Brawl. Blackheart calls them a couple of kangaroo-lovers, says their music is garbage, and that he's sure he can find someone else who agrees.
Rick Samson made J.C. Magnum submit to the Body Vice in 0:05:15. Rating: **

WCWF Saturday Night - Aug 25, 1984 Mid-Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, NY (taped, broadcast nationally on TBS) (taped, broadcast nationally on TBS)
Wolfie Brown pinned Buck Hamato with the Roundabout in 0:05:04. Rating: ***
Isileli Kaelo pinned Frank Nowinski with the Kick of Fear in 0:02:14. Rating: * 1/2
The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated Carmine Gardner and Ignacio Mercer when Huguenaut pinned Gardner with the High Cross in 0:05:33. Rating: DUD

[TV Title Tournament Semifinals]: Sol Salamanca defeated Joachim Farkas by countout in 0:06:06. Rating: -3/4*
Rick Samson came to ringside to watch this match, scouting his two potential opponents for next week, but not getting involved. Salamanca got mauled by Farkas, with The Hungarian Wolfman employing his usual frentic brawling style. The referee had to intervene several times to remind Farkas this was a wrestling match. His eye gouges and biting suggest Farkas mistook this for a back alley brawl or perhaps a buffet. Farkas couldn't put Salamanca down though and the plucky Mexican wrestler even avoided the Hungarian Claw. About five minutes into the match, Randy "The Ram" Robinson came to ringside as well. He didn't get actively involved, but his presence was clearly a distraction for Farkas who took to pacing the ring and snarling in the champ's direction. Finally, The Hungarian Wolfman had enough, and left the ring to go after Robinson. The Ram slowly backed away, circling the ring then moving toward the locker room, letting Farkas stalk him. It was an act of calculation, not cowardice, Robinson stood his ground as soon as the bell rang. Farkas had paid no attention to the referee's ten count and seemed not to care about the bell either. Fists were soon flying as the show went off the air.

Magnum no-showed.)
Everyone wisely ganged up on General Winter and The Ayatollah at the start, putting both men out early on. Corporal Punish made two impressive eliminations, of Mean Massimo and The Jolly Green Giant, although he had plenty of help with the latter. The Motorway Gents put in a surprisingly strong performance, largely thanks to teamwork. The Southern Maulers and The Detroit Connection also functioned well as teams. "Bad" Bobby Jackson celebrated his victory with a moonwalk and will face "The Natural" Chris Reese at Fall Brawl.
Eddie Bearden pinned Ignacio Mercer with the Bad Attitude in 0:00:09. Rating: DUD
Kick, wham, double underhook faceslam. A new record for shortest match in WCWF history.
Lance Catamaran pinned Walton Baker with the Sail Away in 0:04:20. Rating: DUD
The Midnight Resistance (Carl Stryker and Brett Hale) defeated The Freedom Fighters (Lexus Krueger and Kronos Krueger) when Hale pinned Lexus with a bridging double underhook suplex in 0:05:32. Rating: -1/4*
Kronos tried to toss Jake Stryker's cane to Lexus, but Carl Stryker intercepted it and nailed Lexus with the cane. The ref didn't see it, but he did see the ensuing butterfuly suplex pin. The Midnights celebrated afer the match, with Carl particularly happy to have finally recovered his father's cane. Lexus and Kronos weren't about to let that stand and attacked from behind. They snapped Jake's cane in half for good measure, but left the pieces laying on the mat with Carl.
The West German Express (Baron Von Kaiser and Markus Von Krupp) defeated Soul Train (Black Belt Douglas and Porkchop Jones) when Von Kaiser pinned Douglas after a flying shoulderblock in 0:15:34. Rating: -** 1/4 (The West German Express retained the WCWF Tag Team Titles.)
Bruiser Barton, Randy Robinson, and Sol Salamanca defeated Isileli Kaelo, Joachim Farkas, and Scott Free when Barton pinned Free after a brain buster in 0:10:34. Rating: * 1/4

WCWF Saturday Night - September 1, 1984 Mid-Hudson Civic Center, Poughkeepsie, NY (taped, broadcast nationally on TBS)
The Freedom Fighters (Lexus Krueger and Kronos Krueger) defeated Everette Knight and Walton Baker when Kronos pinned Knight with the Kronos Krippler in 0:03:16. Rating: DUD
Frank Gresham interviewed Sol Salamanca. He is excited for his first title match tonight. It would be a dream come true to have childhood hero, Pedro Gonzalez, present him with the TV Title.
Stroker Ace pinned Frederic Clay with the Ace Crusher in 0:04:31. Rating: DUD
Stroker got a mixed reception from the crowd, perhaps not caring for his Southern race car driver gimmick. He used underhanded tactics in the match then pinned Clay with an arrogant one-foot cover after two Ace Crushers. In a twist on his common schtick of picking a lady from the front row as his date for the evening, Stroker said none of women of Poughkeepsie were good enough for him.
Eddie Fargo pinned Rocky Hendrix with the Thundering Forearm in 0:05:46. Rating: DUD
[WCWF TV Title Tournament Finals]: Rick Samson pinned Sol Salamanca with the Body Crush in 0:09:58. Rating: *** 1/2 (Rick Samson won the WCWF TV Title.)
Samson and Salamanca shook hands before the match. The crowd was leaning toward Samson, the respected veteran (and American). The two put on a good, clean wrestling match. The Salamanca went for a flying cross body press, but Samson caught him and planted Salamanca with a big front slam just before the time limit expired. After Commissioner Pedro Gonzalez put the TV Title around Samson's waist, The Strongman noticed how dejected Salamanca looked and and asked the crowd for a round of applause for his opponent, which he got. Gonzalez consoled Salamanca as well. The young Mexican wrestler may have come up short, but he gave a commendable performance against a tough opponent who has not lost a match all year.

WCWF Fall Brawl '84 Preview
Wolfie Brown vs Lance Catamaran If you had to describe Wolfie Brown in two words, "lovable oaf" would be an accurate choice. He's big and not too bright, but he brings an enthusiasm that the crowd loves. Lance Catamaran is Wolfe's opposite in almost every way: slick, trendy, arrogant, bland, and college-educated. He even hails from an upper class New England family, compared to Wolfie's upbringing in an Alabama trailer park. Catamaran envisioned himself as some modern Frank Sinatra whose big break was the Rock-n-Wrestling Special on MTV. Brown cut Catamaran's terrible performance short, to the delight of the crowd. Unsurprisingly, Lance is resentful of the incident.
Bruiser Barton vs "The Tongan Terror" Isaeli Kaelo Isaeli Kaelo has lived up to his nickname as The Tongan Terror. Although he couldn't beat Randy Robinson for the World Heavyweight Title, he has otherwise been a dominant force. "Million Dollar" Stan Trump has apparently hired him as muscle. Trump won a battle royal in part by bribing several participants to help him then eliminate themselves. Among them was Scott Free who had managed a surprise elimination early in the battle royal of Bruiser Barton. Free knew Barton would want payback and was bribed with protection rather than money. Million Dollar Stan sent Isaeli Kaelo to attack Barton and protect Free. Barton is a tough brawler and about the last man in WCWF anyone should piss off. This is going to be a hoss fight.
AC-DC vs Jake Blackheart & A Mystery Partner Angus Clarke and Duncan Clarke could have caused WCWF a great deal of embarrassment when the AC/DC performance during the Rock-n-Wrestling Special turned out to be a cover band instead of the original product. The brothers Clarke proved to be competent musicians, but ill-tempered Jack Blackheart didn't take kindly to their loud rock-n-roll. The surly Texan smashed Angus' guitar over the Aussie's head. There are a few obvious candidates for Blackheart's partner. "Impressive" Pelvis Wesley was a rumored possibility before his departure. It might be someone new.
Mean Massimo vs Willy Richter How much bad blood can one battle royal cause? Massimo is a hero to Italian Americans in the northeast and heir to the legacy of WCWF's previous Italian hero, Mario Mancini. Richter debuted early this year. The rotund wrestler has shaking rings and squashing opponents flat ever since. In July, Richter eliminated Massimo early in a battle royal. They met one-on-one in the TV Title Tournament, but the match ended with a non-finish. Neither wrestler will have home field advantage.
Jammin' Jimmy Blast vs Eddie Fargo Fargo is an old Memphis heel and a former US Title holder with a signature strut. He cost Blast a match against Chris Reese, declaring Jammin' Jimmy didn't deserve to be champion. Jimmy Blast is technician with an intense energy and none of Fargo's flamboyance. Will Fargo cheat his way to victory, or will Blast methodically take his opponent apart? Either way, Southern fans will go home happy. The winner would presumably be in line for a US Title shot.
WCWF United States Title: "The Natural" Chris Reese (c) vs "Bad" Bobby Jackson Reese has the best physique in WCWF, and he loves to make sure everyone knows it. A narcissist to the core, he's also a young and talented wrestler capable of backing up his cocky attitude. Bobby Jackson is basically a Michael Jackson impersonator. Despite the somewhat silly gimmick, he's not a joke.
WCWF World Heavyweight Title: Randy "The Ram" Robinson (c) vs "The Hungarian Wolfman" Joachim Farkas Randy Robinson continues to ride the high of dethroning the Ayatollah for the World Title. He overcome every obstacle and challenger in his path. His arch-nemesis has been "Million Dollar" Stan Trump who made a failed attempt to buy the championship from Robinson. Joachim Farkas is a wild-haired animalistic brawler who doesn't know a wristlock from a wristwatch, but when he's trying to bite your nose off or gouge your eyes out does it really matter? Farkas has been manipulated by Million Dollar Stan into setting his sights on The Ram. The championship will be on the line, but The Hungarian Wolfman probably doesn't care about it. He's just a violent predator who has mistaken Randy Robinson for prey.
War Games: Soul Train & The Midnight Resistance vs The Freedom Fighters & The West German Express The first ever War Games match pits teams with intertwined issues in a war that has raged all summer. The Freedom Fighters tried to cripple Jake Stryker, a retired wrestler and father of one member of The Midnight Resistance. They stole Jake's cane, using it as a weapon before finally breaking it. The white South African duo have also used racial slurs against Soul Train. The Freedom Fighters lost their WCWF debut match to Soul Train. The West German Express beat Soul Train for the tag titles thanks to interference by The Freedom Fighters. The Germans haven't partaken in any racist behavior toward Soul Train, but they also haven't condemned it. Kaiser and Krupp have bluntly stated they'll use any means necessary to retain the titles. This could be the most violent match in WCWF history. As an added variable, if Soul Train or the Midnights can make one of the Germans submit it would surely lead to a title shot.

Thanks, Vinny.
I took a vacation this month. I'm planning to run WCWF through Wrestlemania (another 7 months of cards). Then depending on a variety of factors I might take a break from it for a bit to resume my WCW93 circuit for awhile.

WCWF Fall Brawl Sep 3, 1984 Greensboro Coliseum, Greensboro, NC broadcast on closed-circuit television
Wolfie Brown pinned Lance Catamaran with the Roundabout in 0:07:12. Rating: 1/2*
Isileli Kaelo and Bruiser Barton battled to a double countout in 0:09:53. Rating: **
Every bit the brawl that was expected to be, but they couldn't keep it in the ring. Barton and Kaelo only stopped fighting when forcibly seperated by officials.
AC/DC (Angus Clark and Duncan Clark) defeated Jake Blackheart and Stroker Ace when Duncan pinned Stroker with the Hells Bells in 0:08:51. Rating: **
Blackheart's surprise partner was fellow country music fan Stroker Ace. However, the Aussies proved they're not a one-note team, besting the Southerners and finishing with a spike piledriver.
Mean Massimo pinned Willy Richter with the Pasta Buster in 0:05:08. Rating: 1/2*
Frank Gresham interviews The West German Express and The Freedom Fighters for final thoughts before tonight's main event. The Baron Von Kaiser says he's been in every kind of brawl imaginable and says that Germans never quit. The Kruegers promise to put "those boys in their place."
Jammin' Jimmy Blast vs Eddie Fargo Fargo, sinking to new lows, kicked Blast in the nads during the opening lockup and was lucky he didn't get DQ'd immediately. As expected, this was the match of the night, although not a technical masterpiece by any means. Fargo dominated early with a lot of chops and cheating (including grabbing the ropes during an abdominal stretch), doing his usual great job of antagonizing the crowd along the war. He hit the Thundering Forearm to seeming end the surprisingly squash, but only go two. Blast mounted a comeback, showing his resilience and feeding off the energy of the hot crowd. A spinebuster set up the figure four to force Fargo to submit.
Jimmy Blast made Eddie Fargo submit to a figure-four leglock in 0:12:29. Rating: *** 1/2
Frank Gresham asks The Midnight Resistance and Soul Train for final thoughts. Carl Stryker says the time for payback is tonight. Brett Hale agrees. Black Belt Douglas promises to chop their opponents down to size. Porkchop Jones reminds everyone he's the only one in the match from North Carolina. He's got home field advantage. "We gonna send them racist honkies back to South Africa!"
US Title Match: Bobby Jackson vs "The Natural" Chris Reese (c) Fairly even match. Reese ducked a Jackson Five flying forearm, and Jackson blocked the Bad Ending before the match spilled out onto the floor. Reese hid a double-arm DDT on the floor and that gave him the advantage when they were back in the ring.
Chris Reese made Bobby Jackson submit to the torture rack in 0:05:23. Rating: * 3/4 (Chris Reese retained the WCWF United States Title.)
After Jackson submitted, Reese turned the torture rack into his Bad Ending finisher. The referee chewed Reese out for that stunt, but The Natural didn't particularly care and took the time to pose for the crowd with the US Title on all four corners, soaking up the boos.
WCWF World Heavyweight Title Match: Randy "The Ram" Robinson (c) vs "The Hungarian Wolfman" Joachim Farkas
Farkas is introduced first and starts pacing inside the ring like an animal in a cage. "Metal Health" by Quiet Riot brings out Robinson to a big pop. The champ makes a slow entrance, working the crowd. Once in the ring he hands the championship belt to the referee then, as he's taking off his vest, Farkas attacks before the bell.
Wild brawl to start which Robinson breaks up with a point blank dropkick. A clothesline drops Farkas again. Randy goes for a power bomb, but Joachim counters with a backdrop. Farkas repeatedly introduces Robinson's head to the turnbuckle The Wolfman backs off then comes charging in with a knee strike, but Robinson get sout of the way. They fight over a hiptoss until Farkas goes for the eyes then follows with a faceslam, but Robinson rolls out of the way of a double stomp. Robinson with a clothesline off the ropes and he drops a leg for two.
The Ram goes for a hammerlock, reversed by Farkas. The Wolfman then bites The Ram in the butt and hits him with a forearm. Gutbuster by Farkas and he chokes away while howling. The crowd isn't having any of this. Farkas just mauls Robinson in the corner without a technical move in sight. The Ram returns fire with forearm shots then a series of shoulderblocks that drive The Wolfman back toward middle of the ring and clocks him with a big double axhandle. Now the crowd gets fired up. A pair of back suplexes put Farkas down. Robinson smacks his elbows, climbs to the top turnbuckle, and comes flying off with his signature diving headbutt.
Randy Robinson pinned Joachim Farkas with the Ram Jam in 0:09:15. Rating: -* 3/4 (Randy Robinson retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.)
War Games: Soul Train & The Midnight Resistance vs The Freedom Fighters & The West German Express
Black Belt Douglas starts off and he wants one of the Kruegers, but he gets Baron Von Kaiser instead. Porkchop Jones loudly calls The Freedom Fighters a couple of cowards. Douglas just absolutely obliterates Kaiser with kicks and chops for the first several minutes, and even gives him a judo throw face-first into the cage. Baron begs for mercy to sucker Douglas into a low blow and the crowd just boos the hell out of him. Release German suplex sets up a bow-and-arrow to buy time.
Heels win the coin toss and now Lexus Krueger enters for the 2-on-1 an the crowd just mercilnessly boos. The heels double team Douglas and send him into the ropes, but he ducks the ensuing double clothesline and levels Lexus with the Crane Kick. Kaiser hits Douglas with a swinging neckbreaker and chokes away until Krueger recovers. They heels double team Douglas to an avalanche of boos until Carl Stryker enters.
Stryker goes right after Lexus, leveling him with a clothesline. Gorilla Press then Stryker throws Krueger into the cage. Stryker charges after him, but runs into a chokehold. Krueger wants to turn it into a Lexus Crippler chokeslam, but Styrker punts Krueger in the nuts and spikes him with a DDT to the crowd's approval. Baron Von Kaiser, having laid out Black Belt Douglas, goes after Stryker and we get a wild brawl between the two which the crowd loves.
Markus Von Krupp is next and levels Stryker with a lariat then follows with a butterfly backbreaker. Douglas is back and levels Kaiser with a flying spin kick, but the heels are able to take control thanks to their numbers advantage
Brett Hale enters and goes straight for Lexus Krueger, taking him down and locking on a cross armbreaker until Krupp saves. Stryker hits Krupp with a gutwrench suplex then gets booted down by Kaiser.
Kronos Krueger is the last member of the heel team and he targets Stryker. Kronos hits a double underhook spike piledriver, with the assistanc eof Kaiser and Krupp. Brett Hale is too late to save his tag team partner. The Kruegers give Black Belt Douglas a double choke slam then repeatedly double Gorilla Press him into the roof of the cage while the Germans take out Brett Hale with their West German (Double) Lariat.
It's looking pretty bad for the face team when Porkchop Jones finally enters. He takes out all the heels with clotheslines and shoulderblocks then puts a half-crab on Lexus and leans back on it, yelling for him to submit. Kronos saves his partner with a big boot. Then in a disturbing moment, he follows up with his Kronos Krippler power bomb, sending Porkchop's head into the cage roof along the way because the cage isn't tall enough for a 6'7" guy to powerbomb a 6'3" guy. Jones nearly gets dropped on his head as a result. Fans start hurling garage at the cage after that. Meanwhile, the Germans get stereo chokeholds on The Midnight Resistance. The Freedom Fighters use Douglas as a lawn dart and leave him laying bloody. If they were smart they could probably get the win, but instead Stryker and Hale suffer a 4-on-2.
Porkchop Jones is back up and he is PISSED. Shoulderblocks for everyone then he tackled Kronos and beats his face to mush. Kaiser and Stryker slug it out until an Irish whip is reversed and the Baron eats cage. The crowd finally warms up to Styker, but his flying legdrop misses and the Baron headbutts him to the mat. While the Germans and Resistance keep brawling, Lexus saves Kronos by putting Jones in a full nelson, but Porkchop kicks like a mule then hits a jawbreaker for good measure. Double noggin knocker drops the Kruegers because they're South African, not Samoan. Special Delivery shoulderbreaker on Kronos followed by a Thump powerslam, with Jones dropping Kronos onto of Lexus. Porkchop locks in an armbar on the same shoulder he hit the Special Delivery on and pulls back hard.
War Games No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: The Midnight Resistance (Carl Stryker and Brett Hale) and Soul Train (Black Belt Douglas and Porkchop Jones) defeated The West German Express (Baron Von Kaiser and Markus Von Krupp) and The Freedom Fighters (Lexus Krueger and Kronos Krueger) when Porkchop made Kronos submit to an armbar in 0:21:39. Rating: -**

WCWF Saturday Nightepisodes taped at the Rosemont Horizon, Rosemont, IL; broadcast on TBS Sep 8, 1984 (Episode 9)The Detroit Connection (Joe Dean and Steve Hecker) defeated Darell Sullivan and Carmine Gardner when Hecker pinned Sullivan after a gutbuster in 0:05:13. Rating: * Frank Gresham interviewed Bruiser Barton. Barton says his business with Kaelo wasn't finished at Fall Brawl. The two of them can't be contained by wrestling rings or rules. He wants a Street Fight at Starrcade so there will be no question who is the better, tougher man. Jerry Livingston made Everette Knight submit to the Brass Ring in 0:04:10. Rating: 1/2* Livingston is one of several new wrestlers debuting at this TV taping. Don't read anything into his finisher name; it's just a reference to him hailing from Brasstown, NC. Porkchop Jones pinned Frederic Clay with the Special Delivery in 0:03:50. Rating: -* Frank Gresham interviewed WCWF World Champion Randy "The Ram" Robinson. Robinson says he got into the ring with someone more animal than human at Fall Brawl. Anyone who isn't afraid to get in the ring with someone like that is a fool. But he faced that fear, looked the beast in the eyes, and established dominance. That's why he is still champion. He has been and will continue to be a fighting champion. He has three more title defenses this year: two MSG shows and Starrcade. He promises to finish the year as champion, no matter who he faces in those matches. Rick Samson made Stroker Ace submit to the Body Vice in 0:05:41. Rating: *** (Rick Samson retained the WCWF TV Title.) September 15, 1984 (Episode 10)J.C. Magnum pinned Walton Baker with the Magnum SK in 0:04:05. Rating: * Isileli Kaelo pinned Ignacio Mercer with the Kick of Fear in 0:01:08. Rating: -1/4* "Million Dollar" Stan Trump was at ringside for this match, not that The Tongan Terror needed much direction. After the match, Frank Gresham asked about Bruiser Barton's challenge last week. Trump said Kaelo accepts the challenge and will leave Barton the same way Jake Blackheart left Barton at last year's Starrcade: defeated and laying in a pool of his own blood! The Jolly Green Giant pinned Joachim Farkas with the Giant Bomb in 0:04:46. Rating: -* 3/4 Having failed to bring down The Ram, The Hungarian Wolfman had a chance at even larger prey. His animalistic attacks only angered the Giant and resulted in Farkas getting a pretty good thrashing. Rick Samson pinned Eddie Fargo with the Body Crush in 0:06:11. Rating: ** (Rick Samson retained the WCWF TV Title.) Brett Hale cut a patriotic pre-match promo, praising the Team USA for dominating the Summer Olympics last month. Between that and victory at Fall Brawl against the Germans and South Africans, Hale wants win another victory for America against one of her greatest foes. The Ayatollah made Brett Hale submit to the Camel Clutch in 0:05:47. Rating: * 3/4 Hale talked a good talk and fought a good fight, but it's The Ayatollah. His Reign of Terror may be over, but that's the only loss he's suffered this year. After the match, The Ayatollah got the mic and said "Iran boycott Olympics so USA medals mean nothing. Iran still number one!"
September 22, 1984 (Episode 11) General Winter pinned Aidan Taylor with the Nuclear Winter in 0:01:27. Rating: -1/2* After the quick squash, Winter tried to cut an anti-American promo only to be interrupted by "Theme From The A-Team." "The One Man Army" John Murdoch made his return from injury, charging the ring and sending the General into a hasty retreat. Murdoch was injured earlier this year by Winter. Jimmy Blast pinned Ford Prefect with the Gourdbuster in 0:04:14. Rating: * 3/4 Blast cut a promo after his match. He gave credit to Eddie Fargo for being the wiley veteran he is, but when the match ended it wasn't Fargo who had his hand raised in victory. Blast is a past and future champion. Stan Trump made Andrew Davis submit to the Million Dollar Dream in 0:04:38. Rating: * 1/4 Trump offered his inexperienced opponent $50 to lay down for a pinfall loss or $100 to walk away for a countout loss. "You're not worth a penny more." Davis refused and put up some basic offense before Trump hit a low blow and locked on his finisher. After the quick submission, Trump threw Davis to the mat and literally walked over him on the way out of the ring just to be a jerk. The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated The Executioners (Skull and Crossbones) when Dreadnaut pinned Skull with the Broadside in 0:04:33. Rating: -3/4* After the match, The Supernauts cut a promo. They're undefeated and will face any team who thinks they can change that. The tag titles will be around their waists as soon as they get their shot. Jake Blackheart and Rick Samson battled to a draw in 0:10:00. Rating: * 3/4 (Rick Samson retained the WCWF TV Title.)
Upcoming Cards Oct 14, 1984 - MSG Show Nov 22, 1984 - Starrcade Dec 22, 1984 - MSG Show Rumor Mill - Management was not thrilled with Fall Brawl. In particular, Joachim Farkas has not been getting the expected heat from his gimmick and a feud over the World Title. Black Belt Douglas' gimmick has also apparently worn out its welcome with fans, although Porkchop Jones is still very over.
- Management is also mulling over what to do with The Freedom Fighters. Their feud with Soul Train got some heat on the house show circuit with race-baiting promos, but there are things you can get away at a house show you can't say on a Saturday evening TV show. Maybe if they were later at night on a weekday and on a more adult cable network like HBO.
- WCWF is reported planning their biggest supercard ever for early 1985 and are trying to work out a deal with MTV for another special on that network.
- A major American talent who has been wrestling mostly in Japan the last few years is in negotiations with WCWF and could debut at Starrcade if a long-term deal can be reached in time.

WCWF Saturday Night taped at the Hollywood Sportatorium, Pembroke Pines, FL; broadcast on TBS
Sep 29, 1984 (Ep. 12)
Number-One-Contenders-Match: Eddie Bearden pinned Bruiser Barton with the Bad Attitude in 0:07:37. Rating: ** 3/4 [Stan Trump interfered against Bruiser Barton.]
This match was to determine who would face Randy "The Ram" Robinson at the upcoming MSG Show. "Million Dollar" Stan Trump came to ringside during the match. When the referee wasn't looking he slipped something to Eddie Bearden. Trump then drew the referee's attention, allowing Bearden to punch Barton in the face. The big Texas brawler toppled, clearly knocked out. Bearden then quickly disposed of the foreign object: brass knuckles! The damage done, Trump ended his distraction. Bearden probably could have won it right then and their, but he felt the need to add his double underhook facebuster finisher. Perhaps to add injury to injury more than anything? Million Dollar Stan led out one of his signature maniacal laughs and smiled smuggly on his way to the back.
John Murdoch defeated Morris Minor when Morris Minor passed out in a STF in 0:07:13. Rating: 3/4*
Frank Gresham gets a word with "Million Dollar" Stan Trump and "The Tongan Terror" Isileli Kaelo. Why cost Barton the match? Trump says he's made an investment in The Tongan Terror. There will be a street fight at Starrcade and those brass knuckles were to protect that investment. What about Bearden? Is he another "investment"? Stan says a deal was struck, but is coy about the details.
Sol Salamanca pinned Frederic Clay with the Toluca Sunrise in 0:03:27. Rating: *** 1/4
Frank Gresham interviews Randy Robinson. What does he make of the events earlier tonight? Robinson thought Bearden was a respectable wrestler until he resorted to such blantantly illegal tactics. If you want to beat the man, you need to be a man. It takes more than brass knuckles to be world champion. Out of nowhere, Eddie Bearden nails Randy Robinson with the Ghetto Blaster, dropping the world champion to the floor! "Randy, you think you so tough. You wouldn't last five minutes in Harlem." Robinson starts to get back up, but Bearden picks up the WCWF World Title and delivers a belt shot to The Ram's head then another. Bearden stomps on the fallen Robinson. "When you steppin' into the Garden, you steppin' onto my home turf. Consider this a taste of the whoopin' coming your way! I'm big, I'm bad, and you're ****ed!" Bearden holds up the championship for the camera then throws it down on Robinson and walks off.
Rick Samson and Mean Massimo battled to a draw in 0:10:00. Rating: *** 1/4 (Rick Samson retained the WCWF TV Title.)
When the time limit expired, Samson offered a handshake to Massimo. He took it, but only after some hesitation. The challenger's frustration was clear on his face and in his body language.
October 6, 1984 (Ep. 13)
AC-DC (Angus Clark and Duncan Clark) defeated The Executioners (Skull and Crossbones) when Angus pinned Skull after the High Voltage in 0:12:17. Rating: 3/4*
The brothers Clark had some trouble wearing down their opponents, but the end was impressive. Duncan managed to lift Skull onto his shoulders - no easy feat since the masked man weights well over 300 lbs! Angus was waiting and hit a springboard clothesline the moment Skull was hoisted up. Pretty good finisher, especially under the circumstances.
Chris Reese pinned Black Belt Douglas after a choke slam in 0:04:03. Rating: 1/2* (Chris Reese retained the WCWF United States Title.)
Frank Gresham interviews Bruiser Barton about last week's events. Barton promises pain for Bearden, Trump, and Kaelo. Don't mess with Texas!
Carl Stryker pinned Markus Von Krupp with the Final Strike in 0:05:21. Rating: -**
Brett Hale and Baron Von Kaiser seconded their tag partners for this match. With this win, combined with being on the victorious side of War Games at Fall Brawl, Stryker demanded a shot at the tag titles.
J.C. Magnum and Rick Samson battled to a draw in 0:10:00. Rating: ** 1/4 (Rick Samson retained the WCWF TV Title.) [Veronica interfered against Rick Samson.]
Magnum came very close to winning the title after clocking Samson with Veronica's loaded purse. The champ just barely kicked out.
October 13, 1984 (Ep. 14)
The Southern Maulers (Texas Mauler and Missouri Mauler) defeated Aidan Taylor and Andrew Davis when Missouri defeated Taylor when Taylor passed out in the State of Misery in 0:04:29. Rating: DUD
Frank Gresham interviews "Strongman" Rick Samson about his TV Title reign. Samson admits it's tough defending the title ever week. He's faced some strong challengers and needs to step up his performance if he's going to remain champion. Last week was an especially tough. J. C. Magnum may be one of the smallest wrestlers in WCWF, but he's cunning. He also had a clear advantage in speed and cardio. Mean Massimo walks onto the interview set and declares he gave Samson his toughest challenge yet. Magnum got a near fall off a loaded purse; Massimo hit a reverse splash off the second rope that nearly did the deal. Samson keeps getting saved by the bell. Mean Massimo demands a rematch tonight, and Samson agrees.
Wolfie Brown pinned Darell Sullivan after a roundhouse punch in 0:04:26. Rating: -1/4* Wolfie Brown injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 1 month.
Cpl. Punishment defeated Jerry Livingston when Livingston passed out in the Punishment Due in 0:03:43. Rating: *
Wally Richter pinned Chad Too Badd with the Earthshaker in 0:03:24. Rating: -3/4*
WCWF TV Title Match: Mean Massimo vs "Strongman" Rick Samson (c) Perhaps stung by Massimo's words earlier, Samson came out firing. He got a series of two-counts off a powerslam, a spinebuster, and the Body Crush. Massimo ducked a clothesline and came back with a knee strike to take control. Massimo got a series of two counts of his own with a capture suplex, a belly-to-belly suplex, and the Pizza Toss (slingshot splash). Massimo tried a brainbuster, but Samson small packaged him for two. Samson went for the Body Vice, but Massimo slipped down his back...and promptly delivered a backwack kick between Samson's legs! Down went the champ and Massimo went for the cover...but the ref refused to count! Instead he admonished Massimo for the low blow. Massimo got in the ref's face and shoved him. The ref called for the bell!
Rick Samson defeated Mean Massimo by disqualification in 0:04:50. Rating: *** (Rick Samson retained the WCWF TV Title.)
Massimo couldn't believe it. And at that moment his frustration boiled over. He flipped the referee a double bird then nailed him with a belly-to-belly suplex onto Samson!. Shoving the referee aside, Massimo delivered a Pasta Buster to Samson, then dragged the champ over to the corner and delivered a reverse splash off the second rope - the move that nearly won him the title two weeks ago. Officials came out to bring a stop to this. Massimo exited the ring to the booing crowd and responded with more obscene gestures that had to be blurred on TBS. He took a few steps as if to leave then stopped. He looked back at Samson in the ring. Shoving aside the officials that were trying to get him to leave, he grabbed a steel chair from ringside. Swinging it wildly to clear a path, Massimo and slid back into the ring. Samson was pulling himself up to his feet with the ropes. CRACK! Samson crumpled to the mat from a chairshot to the head. Massiimo delivered more chairshots to the fallen Strongman. The officials started to get into the ring, only to be driven back by Massimo. He finally dropped the chair, only to grab Samson and deliver a Pasta Buster onto the chair! Now wrestlers were coming to the ring including Randy Robinson and Bruiser Barton. Massimo finally exited the ring, having vented his frustrations in one of the most violent incidents in WCWF history. The show ended with Massimo walking away in disgust while Rick Samson and the referee were attended to in the ring

WCWF MSG Show - Oct 14, 1984 Madison Square Garden, New York, NY (aired on the MSG Network)
Bruiser Barton, Sol Salamanca, and Jimmy Blast defeated Isileli Kaelo, Cpl. Punishment, and Chris Reese when Blast pinned Reese with the Gourdbuster in 0:15:47. Rating: **** [Stan Trump interfered against Bruiser Barton.] [Ignacio Mercer interfered against Isileli Kaelo.]
In what has to be one of the most unlikely incidents (and also among the most unwise decisions) in WCWF history, Ignacio Mercer - a scrawny low carder - took umbridge to Million Dollar Stan's interference and came out to do something about it. That drew the ire of The Tongan Terror who chased Mercer backstage.
Frank Nowinski made Jerry Livingston submit to a sleeperhold in 0:07:32. Rating: DUD Frank Nowinski suffered an elbow injury. He will be out for approximately 3 months.

WCWF Saturday Night Oct 20, 1984 Riverfront Coliseum, Cincinnati, OH (taped)
It's five weeks until Starrcade '84, but the card is already taking shape. Meanwhile, tensions are heating up after the events of the latest MSG Show and the violent ending to last week's show.
The show opens with Frank Gresham on the interview set. He brings on Mean Massimo, who doesn't look happy to be there. Gresham and everyone watching have the same question on their mind: why did he assault a referee? Why did he brutalize Rick Samson?
Massimo: I did it cause I could not take it anymore. I tell you something, I tell all of these people something. I been here for a decade. I won the Tag Titles. I won the US Title. I had the guts to face The Ayatollah when he had everybody shakin' in their boots - not once, but twice! I am my own man. But those people out there, they look at me and they don't see Mean Massimo. They don't see the pride of Napoli. They don't see The Campanian Crusher. They see the hero of Brooklyn, they see Mario Mancini's handpicked successor. They ask me: when you gonna win the world title? When you gonna become the second greatest world champion of all time? Screw yoose all! I ain't Mario, I ain't Luigi. I didn't quit wrestlin to make no pizzas. I ain't no plumber. I ain't here for no monkey business. Five years ago, Mancini got me under his wing and I say I want a shot at the world title. And he says no, says I ain't ready yet. So I listen to him. Big mistake. I shoulda hit him with a chair back then. Your big damn hero standing in my way. He say he take me under his wing, but really he keep me under his boot! No more holding back. No more Mr. Nice Guy. I am Mean Massimo and last week you see just how mean I can be!
Commissioner Pedro Gonzalez arrives on set.
Gonzalez: I understand your frustrations. You had a bad day. You did things in the heat of the moment. But took it too far, and now our TV champion is off TV for at least two weeks. We can't even show a picture of what Rick Samson's face looks like after what you did to him - this show isn't rated R. And you especially crossed the line by attacking a referee. You're suspended for the rest of the month and you are being fined. And if doctors clear Samson for Starrcade, he can have you in whatever kind of match he wants.
Massimo: You know what I think of that? *Massimo gives the Commissioner a double middle finger - blurred on TBS, of course - and storms off the set*
Gonzalez shakes his dead with disappointment then goes on to announce The West German Express will defend the tag titles at Starrcade against The Supernauts. Also, there is an open contract for Starrcade to face a mystery opponent making his WCWF debut. Gresham wonders about the status of the TV Title since Samson is injured. Gonzalez says that, reluctantly, the title is being vacated. Tonight's main event with be a four-corners match to select a new champion.

"Million Dollar" Stan Trump came to the ring and demanded Ignacio Merce face him immediately, if he hadn't fled back to Mexico already. Mercer came out and noted that, although his mother was born in Mexico, his father was born in the USA and he was born in Oklahoma. Million Dollar Stan ignored those facts, calling Mercer a dirty greaser who should be throw back across the border for sticking his nose into Trump's business. "I'd pay you to get lost, but you're not worth the money!" Stan wanted a match right now. A referee rushed out and the bell rang. Trump - who had a height advantage of three inches and 90 lbs weight advantage - got in Mercer's face, shoving him back. Mercer responded by sweeping Trump's legs out from under him then delivering a textbook Oklahoma Roll.
Ignacio Mercer pinned Stan Trump with the Oklahoma Roll in 0:00:18. Rating: 3/4*
The referee raised Mercer's hand, but an irate Million Dollar Stan leveled Ignacio with the Million Dollar Knee and started stomping on his opponent. "La Grange" by ZZ Top played and out charged Bruiser Barton. The moment he entered one side of the ring, Trump bailed out the other side. Barton followed, but backup arrived in the form of Isileli Kaelo. Barton and Kaelo brawled up the aisle and into the backstage area.

Non-Title Match: Randy Robinson pinned Scott Free with the Ram Jam in 0:04:19. Rating: -3/4*
Robinson worked the crowd after the match, praising the fans for their support on his first time in Cincinnati. He successfully defended the title last weekend in Madison Square Garden...
"Leroy Brown" by Jim Croce signaled the arrival of "Big Bad" Eddie Bearden. Bearden said the two of the fought in New York, but the match settled nothing. Bearden wants a rematch at Starrcade - in a cage! Robinson accepts. Bearden promises no mercy and no escape before throwing down the mic and walking away. Robinson watches him go. One of the announcers pointed out Bearden showed contempt for Robinson by turning his back on the champ, but the other responded that Robinson is too respectable a wrestler to attack someone from behind like that.

No-Time-Limit-Four Corners Match for the vacant WCWF TV Title: Porkchop Jones drew Jake Blackheart, J.C. Magnum, and Sol Salamanca when Porkchop and Blackheart battled to a double countout in 0:07:08. Rating: -1/2* (The WCWF TV Title remained vacant.)
The match ended with Salmanca and Magnum fighting in the ring while Jones and Blackheart fought outside the ring. The latter two were the legal men which means we're going to need a rematch next week.

The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated Aidan Taylor and Andrew Davis when Dreadnaut pinned Davis with the Broadside in 0:02:34. Rating: -* 1/2

4-Person Battle Royal for the vacant WCWF TV Title: Porkchop Jones won a 4-person Battle Royal: x Porkchop threw out Jake Blackheart in 0:00:51 x Magnum threw out Sol Salamanca in 0:02:24 x Porkchop threw out J.C. Magnum in 0:06:03 Rating: 1/4* (Porkchop Jones won the WCWF TV Title.) [Veronica interfered against Porkchop Jones.]
After the match, Magnum congratulated Porkchop on the win. It quickly proved to be a ruse so that Veronia could hit the new champion in the head with her loaded purse followed by a Magnum SK superkick from J.C. The duo grabbed the TV Title and hightailed it out of the ring before Porkchop Jones knew what hit him and before the referee could stop them. We have a new TV champion, but he doesn't have the championship belt!

WCWF Saturday Night #17 Nov 3, 1984
Chad Too Badd pinned Black Belt Douglas with the Badd Times in 0:05:45. Rating: -3/4*
After the match, Badd cut a promo agreeing to face the mystery wrestler debut at Starrcade. It can't be anybody badder than Chad Too Badd, right?
Frank Gresham interviewed The Midnight Resistance. Jake Stryker is back with the team, having recovered from his injuries at the hands of The Freedom Fighters, and with a new cane to replace the one they broke. The Resistance has been unable to defeat The West German Express. Where do they go from here? Jake says he has been talking with his son about the problems with the team. Brett Hale is surprised to hear this because he wasn't part of that conversation. However, he respects Jake's experience and thinks what the team has be lacking lately was his guidance. Brett is eager to work hard, make America proud, and have The Midnight Resistance make another run at the tag titles. Carl Stryker says that Brett wasn't part of the conversation because he was the topic of the conversation. Jake made things clear to his son: Brett is holding Carl back! Brett is aghast, but Jake hits him in the back with his cane and Carl delivers the Final Strike on the floor. The Midnight Resistance is no more!
Stan Trump and Isileli Kaelo defeated Bruiser Barton and Ignacio Mercer when Kaelo pinned Mercer with the Kick of Fear in 0:06:17. Rating: ** 1/2
First Mercer stopped Trump from interfering, then he embarrassed Trump with a quick rollup victory. Million Dollar Stan got some revenge when The Tongan Terror booted Mercer down for the win. Barton and Kaelo brawled yet again after the match while Stan used the opportunity to challenge Mercer to a rematch at Starrcade to prove the rollup loss was a fluke.
Eddie Bearden pinned Frederic Clay with the Ghetto Blaster in 0:02:12. Rating: 1/4*
Before the match, "Big Bad" Bearden promised "No mercy!" then proceeded to attack Clay before the bell. The result was a massacre. After the match, Bearden promised a similar beating for Randy Robinson at Starrcade.
[Non-Title]: Chris Reese pinned Walton Baker after a pumphandle facebuster in 0:03:15. Rating: * 1/4
"The Natural" had a few words...
Reese: Jimmy Blast, at Starrcade you wont be leaving with this *gestures to the US Title* because you don't have any of this *points to his six-pack abs* or any of these *flexes his biceps*.
J.C. Magnum pinned Porkchop Jones with the Magnum SK in 0:06:02. Rating: -* (J.C. Magnum won the WCWF TV Title.)
At the end of last week's show, Porkchop was the champion but Magnum had the title belt. Now Magnum has both. His post-match celebration by with Veronica was quite obnoxious. He made the referee raise his and Veronia's hands multiple times. He tried to get the ring announcer to announce him as winner and new champion a second time. When the officials had enough, Magnum kept posing on the turnbuckles with the title and taunting the crowd.
WCWF Saturday Night #18 Nov 10, 1984
[Non-Title]: The West German Express (Baron Von Kaiser and Markus Von Krupp) defeated Aidan Taylor and Andrew Davis when Von Kaiser pinned Taylor after a lariat in 0:04:29. Rating: -1/4*
John Murdoch pinned Jerry Livingston with the Alpha Mike Foxtrot in 0:04:54. Rating: 1/4*

J.C. Magnum pinned Sol Salamanca with the Magnum SK in 0:09:10. Rating: ** 3/4 (J.C. Magnum retained the WCWF TV Title.) [Veronica interfered against Sol Salamanca.]
Magnum again had the referee raise Veronica's hand along with his. Magnum then got a mic and bragged about winning cleanly and decisively - blatantly ignoring Veronica's interference.
WCWF Saturday Night #19 Nov 17, 1984
Buck Hamato pinned Frederic Clay after a fisherman suplex in 0:03:09. Rating: **
Frank Gresham interviewed "Strongman" Rick Samson. How's his head feeling? "Like I got stepped on by a circus elephant." Samson says he respected Massimo. Emphasis on the past tense. After nearly having is face caved as part of Massimo's temper tantrum, Samson is in no mood for games. "When you try to break someone, you better target someone who can't break you worse in return." The match is on for Starrcade!
Brett Hale pinned Darell Sullivan with the Hale to the Chief in 0:03:13. Rating: DUD
Frank Gresham interviewd Hale about the breakup of The Midnight Resistance. Brett doesn't understand what caused Jake Stryker to turn against him. Maybe he's not thinking clearly after the head trauma he suffered? Everyone though Jake Stryker had changed his ways years ago. Maybe everyone, including Brett, was wrong? Whatever the reason, Hale wont hold back at Starrcade.
General Winter pinned Everette Knight with the Nuclear Winter in 0:02:14. Rating: -1/2*
Winter promised armageddon for John Murdoch at Starrcade.
The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated Eddie Fargo and Stroker Ace when Huguenaut pinned Stroker after a legdrop in 0:05:55. Rating: -1/2*
J.C. Magnum and Veronica came out for the main event. Magnum said the crowd is just jealous they can't be as cool as he is nor have a girlfriend as hot as Veronica is. He doesn't know who his challenger is and he doesn't care because they're getting superkicked like anybody else.
*cue "You Spin Me Round" by Dead or Alive*
Wolfie Brown pinned J.C. Magnum with the Roundabout in 0:06:38. Rating: ** (Wolfie Brown won the WCWF TV Title.)
Brown makes his triumphant return from a minor injury and sends the crowd home happy by ending Magnum's two-week reign. Magnum is is so dizzy from the Roundabout he staggers back up the aisle like a drunk with Veronica trying to keep him from falling down. Presented with the belt, Wolfie hugs the TV Title like a long-lost stuffed animal and is clearly misty-eyed by his first championship.

Starrcade '84 Preview
The Midnight Resistance Breakup: Brett Hale vs Carl Stryker w/ Jake Stryker After a long feud with The Freedom Fighters and The West German Express, young team of Stryker and Hale have fractured. Jake Stryker, the team's manager/mentor, missed several months because of a brutal post-match attack. He blames the team's shortcomings not on their inexperience nor his absence, but on the team member who isn't his flesh and blood. Carl, who has always looked up to his father, has been swayed by whatever argument Captain Stryker made to his son. Fans would like to find out who is the better wrestler in a fair fight, although with Jake Stryker at ringside this could be a de-facto handicap match.
Debut Match: Chad Too Badd vs A Mystery Opponent Someone big has signed with WCWF. Management has kept his identity a secret and Chad Too Badd - not the sharpest tool in the shed - as volunteered to face the newcomer. Who will it be and does Badd have any chance?
The Pauper vs The Prince: Ignacio Mercer vs "Million Dollar" Stan Trump Mercer has mostly served as enhancement talent in WCWF, but in October he took it upon himself to stop Trump from interfering in a six-man tag match. When Million Dollar Stan confronted Mercer on a subsequent show, he suffered the supreme embarrassment of being rolled up and pinned in seconds. Trump's ego will not stand for this and he has demanded a rematch. Is Mercer poised to break into the midcard or will Trump get his revenge?
USA vs USSR: "The One Man Army" John Murdoch vs General Winter The Cold War gets hot as a former Army Ranger takes on a Soviet officer. Winter debuted in WCWF by trying to break Murdoch's arm and since then has demolished everyone in his path. For Murdoch the stakes are both personal and patriotic.
The Strong One vs The Mean One: "Strongman" Rick Samson vs Mean Massimo Mean Massimo finally had enough. Frustrated at living in the shadow of former mentor and WCWF legend Mario Mancini. Frustrated by everyone's expectations, including his own. No more Mr. Nice Guy. He attacked a referee and tried to crush Rick Samson's face for nothing more than being part of that frustration. Samson has been cleared to face Massimo and he's riding an undefeated streak. Will Massimo's change in attitude change his fortunes or is Samson simply too strong?
Street Fight: Bruiser Barton vs "The Tongan Terror" Isilei Kaelo It started as a simple elimination in a battle royal that had nothing to do with Kaelo. It all would have been settled if Scott Free had simply accepted the in-ring beating that was coming to him as a result. But instead he traded a voluntarily elimination for someone else taking the heat. Thus Stan Trump's machinations send his "investment" (Kaelo) after Barton. The Texan and the Tongan have tangled repeatedly with no clear winner. They'll wage war at Starrcade - anything goes anywhere in the building. At last year's inaugural Starrcade, Bruiser Barton lost a bloodbath to Jake Blackheart in a cage. Fans are hoping this fight will be even better.
WCWF United States Title: Jammin' Jimmy Blast vs "The Natural" Chris Reese (c) Blast lost the title to Reese due to the involvement of Eddie Fargo. With Fargo disposed of and Reese having fended off all other challenges, we're set for a rematch between two of the hottest young stars in WCWF. Both men can bring it in the ring. Pride vs ego. The patient technician vs the flashy powerhouse. Who will emerge victorious?
WCWF World Tag Titles: The Supernauts vs The West German Express (c) The Supernauts have been dominating the tag team scene since debuting early this year. Although the Germans won the titles after outside interference, don't sell them short. Von Krupp and Von Kaiser are tough customers and if there's any way they can get out of Starrcade with the titles they will find it.
Cage Match for the WCWF World Heavyweight Title: Randy "The Ram" Robinson (c) vs "Big Bad" Eddie Bearden Robinson has been a strong champion since ending The Ayatollah's Reign of Terror. He's been a popular fighting champion who has fended off cruel corporals, tough Tongans, and wild wolfmen. Now he faces the man from the hardest streets of Harlem who has promised no mercy and no escape. A man who ambushed Robinson backstage during an interview and basically sold his soul to the devil for a title shot (we're still waiting to find out what Stan Trump's "investment" in Bearden will entail). This is the first traditional cage match in WCWF since last year's aforementioned Barton-Blackheart bloodbath (not counting the special War Games match at Fall Brawl). Like last year's match, this one will end only with a pinfall or a submission.

Starrcade '84 Nov 22, 1984 The Omni, Atlanta, GA broadcast on closed-circuit television [Dark Match]: The Southern Maulers (Texas Mauler and Missouri Mauler) defeated Buck Hamato and Black Belt Douglas when Missouri made Hamato submit to the State of Misery in 0:09:44. Rating: * 1/4 Announcers John Elliott and Robbie Atkinson welcome everyone to the second-ever Starrcade. Happy Thanksgving! After running down tonight's card, we go to Frank Gresham backstage where wrestlers are enjoying Thanksgiving dinner. Most of the WCWF roster that doesn't have any matches tonight are eating, although the faces and heels aren't mingling. (The Jolly Green Giant being a notable exception.) Wally Richter piles his plate high and finds an open seat, only to have the chair collapse under him. Wolfie Brown comes up to Gresham with an improbably large turkey leg and gushes awkwardly about how happy he is to be TV Champion. Brown is attacked out of nowhere by Mean Massimo, who unloads on him with punches and forearms. Then Massimo snatches the turkey leg and clubs Wolfie over the head with it. Sol Salamanca tries to intervene, but Massimo tackles him. Eddie Fargo uses the distraction to grab a bowl of mashed potatoes and dump it over the head of Bobby Jackson. That triggers a food fight as Frank Gresham makes a hasty retreat from the pandemonium into the hallway. He's sends it back to ringside, then sees someone off camera. He says "Is that who I think it is?" before the camera cuts away. Angus Clark and Duncan Clark (AC-DC) are providing live entrance music for the matches tonight. Brett Hale vs Carl Stryker w/ Jake StrykerNo lockup as Hale delivers a leaping elbowsmash to start. More elbows then he brings down Stryker with an armbreaker into a cross-armbreaker hold. Hale hits the ropes, but Jake pulls down the top rope to send Brett to the floor and give his son time to recover. The referee admonishes Papa Stryker. Hale gets back in the ring, but runs into a big boot. Carl hits a legdrop for one. Carl works a headlock then tries a bodyslam, but gets small packaged for two. Hale locks in a full nelson, but Stryker fights to the ropes. Fisherman buster sets up Hale To The Chief, but Jake briefly distracts the ref. The belated count is two. Butterfly suplex sets up a figure-four sleeper, but Stryker gets to the ropes. Brett goes up for presumably another Hale To The Chief, but Jake hits the top rope with his cane out of view of the ref. The shaking of the rope causes Hale to crotch himself. Carl hits a back suplex off the top then a Gorilla Press. Carl hooks the leg as a pins and the ref doesn't see Jake holding Brett's other leg down to help prevent a kickout. Carl Stryker pinned Brett Hale after a Gorilla Press in 0:09:22. Rating: * [Jake Stryker interfered against Brett Hale.] Jake and Carl celebrate despite Brett controlling most of the match. Chad Too Badd vs A Mystery OpponentChad stops by AC-DC for some headbanging and air guitar as they play his music: George Thorogood's "Bad To The Bone." He's psyched and ready for whatever comes next. *cue "Voodoo Child" by Jimi Hendrix* A muscular wrestler with huge biceps, long blonde hair, a blonde fu-manchu, white boots, black pants, black sleeveless shirt that reads "BULK RULES!", black sunglasses, and black bandana. He's got an arrogant smirk on his face and walks with a swagger to the ring. Ring Announcer: Hailing from Hollywood, California...standing 6'7" and weighing 270 lbs...BULK LOGAN!!! The bell rings Logan stalls over the attempted lockup. He rakes Chad in the eyes then boots him down. Big Leg Drop. 1...2...Logan pulls him up. Whip into the ropes and Bulk nearly decapitates Chad with the Axe Bomber. Another Big Leg Drop. 1...2...Logan pulls him up. Bulk picks up Chad then hurls him across the ring with the Blockbuster. Logan drags Chad to the middle of the ring by his hair and arrogantly pins him with one foot while flexing. Bulk Logan pinned Chad Too Badd with the Blockbuster in 0:02:08. Rating: 1/4* After the bell rings, Bulk Logan kicks Chad Too Badd out of the ring so he can pose some more. Frank Gresham comes to the ring to get a word with this newcomer. Gresham: That was quite a dominating debut performance. Logan: You're looking at the future of of wrestling, brother. Whatcha gonna do when these 24" pythons run wild on you? Gresham: But your behavior in your debut match... Logan: Listen up, brother. I'm not here to anybody's hero. The Bulkster isn't going to be kissing babies and signing autographs. That stuff's for chumps. I'm gonna do whatever it takes to win, just like I did whatever it took to get these guns, brother. *flexes* And if you don't like that, you and all the losers in the crowd can stick it! Logan pushes past Gresham and leaves the ring. Gresham (with clear disgust on his face): Ladies and gentlemen, your winner and the newest WCWF superstar..."The Immoral" Bulk Logan. Ignacio Mercer vs "Million Dollar" Stan TrumpTrump surprises Mercer with the Million Dollar Knee before the bell, which gets two and a half. Million Dollar Stan slaps Mercer around and talks trash, only to have Ignacio sweep the leg. Trump blocks a monkey flip as two large Samoan guys make their way out to ringside. The announcers don't know who they are, but they're not The Wild Samoans. Trump goes for a clothesline, but Mercer ducks it only to run into dick kick city on the rebound while the referee is distracted by the Samoans circling the ring. Powerslam by Trump followed by a fistdrop. He goes for the pin with his feet on the ropes, but the ref sees it. Stan tosses Ignacio out of the ring and argues with the referee, resulting in him not see one of the Samoans hit Mercer with a brainbuster on the floor. They roll Mercer's carcass back into the ring. Ignacio struggles to his feet only to get hit with another high knee from Trump. Stan Trump pinned Ignacio Mercer after the Million Dollar Knee in 0:04:08. Rating: -1/4* [Samoan Storm interfered against Ignacio Mercer.] Frank Gresham wants a word with Trump after his win. Trump wants to gloat, but Gresham wants to know who the two newcomers are. Trump: My latest in vestment: Kamu and Taku, Samoan Storm. Gresham: Which one is which? Trump: It doesn't really matter. Gresham: Why don't you hire American muscle? Trump: Foreigners work cheap. You can call my corporation Trump International. "The One Man Army" John Murdoch vs General WinterWinter charges with a lariat, but Murdoch ducks it and locks him in a sleeper. Winter fights out, but Murdoch boots him in the stomach a couple times and takes him to the corner for the crowd to count along with ten headsmashes into the turnbuckle. Red-White-and-Blue Thunder Bomb is blocked by Winter. Winter sends Murdoch into the ropes and the American tries to come back with a tackle only to get booted in the head by the Russian. Winter goes for a bearhug, but Murdoch punches his way out of it and hits a spinebuster for two. A neck snap has no effect on Winter so Murdoch applies the FUBAR. Winter fight out of the armbar, hits a series of atomic drops, and applies a bearhug. Murdoch breaks the hold with an earringer then suplexes Winter. He goes for the Red-White-and-Blue Thunder Bomb again, but here comes The Ayatollah! John Murdoch defeated General Winter by disqualification in 0:06:22. Rating: * 1/2 [The Ayatollah interfered against John Murdoch.] General Winter and The Ayatollah deliver a post-match beatdown, culminating in The Ayatollah putting Murdouch in the dreaded Camel Clutch until officials finally break it up. "Strongman" Rick Samson vs Mean MassimoSamson comes out to his usual "Holding Out For A Hero" - albeit an instrumental version because Angus Clark can't do a Bonnie Tyler impersonation. Samson looks read to break something. Then, instead of "Ectasy of Gold" (which Mean Massimo has been using since Mario Mancini retired in 1980) AC-DC launches into a cover of Motorhead's "Overkill" as Massimo marches to the ring, ignoring the the fans and wearing an intense look on his face. He gets in the ring and stares down Samson as the referee pleads for both men to restrain themselves until the bell rings. And as soon as it does he gets the hell out of the way. Surprisingly, they actually lock up and we get an intense test of strength that seems to be a draw so Samson hits a hiptoss and an elbowdrop. Spinebuster is countered with a swinging neckbreaker then follows with a DDT. It's quickly apparent the crowd is very much behind Samson and very much against Massimo. Massimo goes for a full nelson slam, but Samson counters with a jawbreaker. Samson hits a belly-to-belly only to charge into a belly-to-belly from Massimo. Senton misses. Samson tries a waistlock suplex, but Massimo counters with a go-behind. He tries a belly-to-back suplex, but Samson blocks it. Massimo clubs him down with forearm shots to the back, neck, and head and hits the move way. Double chickenwing is applied, but Samson gets to the ropes. Massimo hits the ropes, but runs into a powerslam...only to pop right back up like it was nothing and give Samson a wicked smile. Samson kicks Massimo hard in the stomach to wipe that smile of his face and gives him a press slam. Gutwrench suplex gets two. Spinebuster, but Massimo gets his foot on the ropes. Samson picks Massimo up...BODY VICE. But Massimo rakes Samson in the eyes to escape as the boos rain down. Massimo unloads with a variety of strikes on the dazed Samson then hits an inverted atomic drop. He hits a gutbuster then stomps the hell out of Samson in the corner. Massimo hits a reverse splash off the second turnbuckle (Vader Bomb) then a second one. Mean Massimo pinned Rick Samson with the Mean Machine in 0:07:32. Rating: *** After he match, Massimo doesn't seem to be in any mood to celebrate. The crowd boos him and Massimo responds with some obscene gestures as he leaves. Samson seems stunned - not just from his first loss in over a year, but he's also clearly hurting a bit from those two big Mean Machine splashes and blinking from being poked in the eyes. It seems like Mean Massimo has found the edge he was looking for. Street Fight: "The Waxahachie Madman" Bruiser Barton vs "The Tongan Terror" Isilei KaeloBoth men come out swinging. Barton ducks a kick and hits a back suplex. Barton tries a chokes slam, but Kaelo boots his way out of that. They brawl again until Kaelo headbutts Barton down and chokes away. Kaelo throws Barton into the corner and goes for boot choke, but the Texan ducks the Tongan then shoulderblocks him repeatedly. Barton goes to the top, but Kaelo powerslams him off. He waits for Barton to get up...Kick of Fear...misses! Both men miss clotheslines then a double clothesline puts both men down. More brawling until Kaelo slams Barton, but his following flying side kick misses. Barton's elbowdrop misses. Suplex sets up a flying splash from Kaelo...which misses. Barton throws Kaelo out of the ring and we go to the floor. Brawling at ringside with Barton getting sent head-first into the corner post. Kaelo grabs the ring bell and smashes Barton with it. 1...2...3no! That brings out Taku and Kamu. Million Dollar Stan has send Samoan Storm as insurance! But before they can make it to ringside The Southern Maulers charge out and attack Samoan Storm. The two teams brawl to the back and this match remains one-on-one. Meanwhile, Barton and Kaelo have gone brawling up an aisle in the crowd. Barton grabs a fire extinguisher and Kaelo gets a face full of foam. With his opponent momentarily blinded, Bruiser turns the extinguisher into a club, repeatedly hitting Kaelo with it until the Tongan finally goes down. Then Barton gives him one last shot to the head. 1...2...3no! Bruiser seems a little unsure of where to go from there and Kaelo hits a desperation low blow to by himself time to recover. The two brawl back toward the ring, crashing over chairs in the process. Kaelo repeatedly whips Barton into the ringside guardrail then finally clotheslines him over it. Barton tumbles partly under the ring apron. Kaelo climbs over the guardrail and goes over him, only to get rocked by shot to the head. The Waxahachie Madman has found a chain under the ring! He staggers Kaelo with several shots from the chain, bringing the big Tongan to his knees. Barton backs up, wrapping the chain around his arm. He charges full speed and delivers a monster lariat with the chain. 1...2...3! [Street Fight]: No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Bruiser Barton pinned Isileli Kaelo after a lariat in 0:15:38. Rating: ** 1/2 It wasn't pretty, but the crowd went wild for this hoss fight. WCWF United States Title Match: Jammin' Jimmy Blast vs "The Natural" Chris Reese (c)Blast gets a sleeper out of the lockup then hits a kneebreaker and a brainbuster. Whip into the ropes with Blast going for a backdrop, but Reese sees it coming and is able to hit a swinging neckbreaker. Vertical suplex and and elbowdrop are followed by a flying splash for two. Pumphandle facebuster for two. Reese attempts another suplex, but Blast cradles him for two. From there the match devolves into a brawl full of punches, kicks, elbows, and chops. They fight into the corner where Blast just destroys Reese with chops - to the crowd's delight - until finally kicking him in the gut and planting him with the Gourdbuster. Jimmy Blast pinned Chris Reese with the Gourdbuster in 0:05:24. Rating: *** (Jimmy Blast won the WCWF United States Title.) WCWF World Tag Titles Match: The Supernauts vs The West German Express (c)Dreadnaut and Markus Von Krupp started out, with the Brit immediately booting the German down. Dreadnaught runs Von Krupp over with a couple shoulderblocks, but Markus backdrops out of a piledriver attempt and tags out. Baron Von Kaiser charges in and levels Dreadnaut with an enzulariato. Dreadnaught knocks Baron down with a shoulderblock and tags out. Huguenaut goes for a belly-to-belly suplex but Von Kaiser low blows him and hits a jawbreaker. Huguenaut fires back with forearm shots, sends Baron into Dreadnaut's boot, and splashes the German for two. Powerslam and a side slam get two more. Baron begs for mercy so he can get in a cheap shot and tag out. Von Krupp hits a couple suplexes but runs into a kick while coming off the ropes and Huguenaut tags out. Dreadnaut ducks a big boot, but gets caught in a choke until the ref's count breaks the hold. Krupp's hiptoss is countered with a lariat and Dreadnaut tags out. Baron Von Kaiser hits the ring to toss Dreadnaut and level Huguenaut with a double clothesline before the ref gets Baron back in his corner. Krupp hits a butterfly backbreaker, but Huguenaut backdrops out of a gutwrench attempt. Krupp rolls clear of a legdrop but his neckbreaker attempt is blocked. Baron goes after Huguenaut, but gets taken out by Dreadnaut and tossed from the ring. Huguenaut makes the tag and The Supernauts hit a powerbomb / flying clothesline combo. The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated The West German Express (Baron Von Kaiser and Markus Von Krupp) when Dreadnaut pinned Von Krupp after a flying clothesline in 0:11:24. Rating: ** 1/4 (The Supernauts won the WCWF Tag Team Titles.) Cage Match for the WCWF World Heavyweight Title: Randy "The Ram" Robinson (c) vs "Big Bad" Eddie BeardenThey start to lock up, but Bearden kicks Robinson in the midsection and takes him down with a side headlock. Bad idea as the champ has better mat skills. Back on their feet, Robinson whips Bearden into the ropes, but Eddie ducks the big boot and comes back with a kick to the groin. Bearden applies a full nelson, but Robinson fights out. Double axhandle by the champ followed by a back suplex. Randy tries a powerslam, but Bearden blocks it and hits a DDT. Eddie sends Randy into the cage then grinds his face into the mesh then chokes him with the top rope then punches him in the back of the head. Robinson collapses to the mat as Bearden taunts the crowd. He sets up for Bad Attitude, but the champ backdrops out. Robinson misses a dropkick and Bearden throttles him with a choke. Robinson ducks a clothesline and comes back with a running forearm smash. Robinson tries a power bomb, but Bearden fights it and finally shoves him off. They brawl until Bearden is worn down enough that Robinson can hit a back suplex and follows with a flying axhandle. Robinson hits the ropes, but runs into a belly-to-belly suplex. Bad Attitude follows for two. Bearden drops an elbow then throws Robinson in the corner for a boot choke then a forearm choke. The champ fights back with his fists, mounting a comeback and finally sending Bearden's face into the cage. Robinson hits a power bomb for two. He drops another flying axhandle, but gets met by a fist to the midsection. Eddie with a backbreaker then he tries to send Robinson into the cage, but The Ram reverses it. He follows up with a powerslam and the Ram Jam...for two! Robinson hits a piledriver and climbs the turnbuckle...then starts climbing the cage. Has he forgotten he can't win by escape? He gets to the top and turns to face the ring and starts smacking his elbows. The crowd errupts as they realize what's about to happen. RAM JAM OFF THE CAGE!!! No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match: Randy Robinson pinned Eddie Bearden with the Ram Jam in 0:18:05. Rating: 3/4* (Randy Robinson retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.) The Ram holds up the world title to cheers from the crowd as the show ends.

Starrcade Aftermath- This Bulk Logan guy is thought to be a pretty big deal.
- Chad Too Badd quit in response to be told he would be squashed in Logan's debut. He was reminded that lawsuits over breach of contract are a thing and reluctantly showed up at Starrcade as ordered. Chad is rumored to be heading to Japan in 1985, in search of better paydays and a hot Asian wife.
- The main event ended up a meh match with a hot crowd and an incredibly memorable finish. It's basically this universe's equivalent of Jimmy Snuka's famous diving splash off a cage. However, since this match happened several years later and wasn't at MSG a young Mick Foley never saw it.
- There are six episodes of WCWF Saturday Night remaining in 1984, plus a MSG Show.

WCWF Canadian Stampede - Dec 1, 1984 Olympic Saddledome, Calgary, Alberta, Canada Non-televised event co-promoted by WCWF and Stampede Wrestling.
Kicking Horse made Scott Free submit to the Indian Deathlock
The Supernauts def. The West German Express via pinfall after the Broadside (Supernauts retained the WCWF World Tag Team Titles)
"The Cuban Assassin" Jose Castro pinned Black Belt Douglas with the Havana Hammer
The Hurt Squad (Bruce Hurt & Bret Hurt) and "Dynamite" David Smith def. Phil LaFleur, Joachim Farkas, and Buck Hamato when Smith pinned Hamato with the Exploder
Bruce and Bret are sons of Stampede's founder-promoter. Bret looks promising despite his size. Smith (brother-in-law to Bruce and Bret as of earlier this year) was the star of the match as he not only has the best physique and size of the three, but also has a really impressive finisher, the Exploder suplex. Supposedly the move was invented by Bret after watching some Japanese wrestling. Bret realized it was too much of a power move for his size and style so developed it with Smith as a wedding present. The move is really ahead of its time. Rumor has it that after seeing Davey and Bret perfecting the move in practice, several other wrestlers came to Bret afterwards, with tears in their eyes, and told him that it was the greatest finisher of all time. Whatever the case, Smith is believed to have had contract negotiations with WCWF management.
Smith's nickname is a tribute to his late tag partner, Teddy Bentley. Nicknamed "The Dynamite Kid", Teddy was a supremely talented flyer with serious behavioral issues. He was stabbed to death last year in a bar fight he himself provoked. He had unwittingly picked a fight with a member of the Yakuza, but was too out of his mind on drugs and alcohol to realize it until it was too late. Davey was shaken by the incident and left Japan to return to Canada.
Randy "The Ram" Robinson def. Killer Khan (Robinson retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title)
Archie "The Stomper" Gold & "Strongman" Rick Samson vs "Big Bad" Eddie Bearden & Mean Massimo went to a no-contest
The crowd rioted after Bearden gave fan-favorite Gold (who is also the reigning Stampede champion) with two spike piledrivers on exposed concrete at ringside. Bearden formerly wrestled in Stampede as Bad News Bearden where he and Gold had a bitter feud ending in a Loser Leaves Town Match that sent Bearden to WCWF.

Mean Massimo and Wolfie Brown battled to a double countout in 0:05:47. Rating: ** 1/2 (Wolfie Brown retained the WCWF TV Title.)

Bulk Logan pinned Ignacio Mercer with the Blockbuster in 0:01:11. Rating: -1/2*
Mercer wrestled Logan into a facelock, but the Bulkster hit a low blow, big boot, and the Blockbuster. After getting the win, Logan made a point to deliberately walk over Mercer on his way out of the ring.

Brett Hale pinned Scott Free with the Hale to the Chief in 0:06:58. Rating: -1/4*

"Million Dollar" Stan Trump was at ringside for this one and enjoyed watching the Samoans obliterate some enhancement talent.
Mean Massimo pinned Wolfie Brown with the Pasta Buster in 0:08:51. Rating: *** (Mean Massimo won the WCWF TV Title.)
A hard-fought battle with a hot crowd that teased another double countout. While fighting on the floor, Brown got a face full of ringpost and that may have been the deciding factor. Wolfie almost won with a crossface chickenwing, but Massimo was able to get to the ropes. During the match, Massimo kicked out of the Roundabout and Wolfie just barely kicked out the Mean Machine.
WCWF Saturday Night #22 taped at Boston Garden, Boston, MA; aired December 8, 1984
The Detroit Connection (Joe Dean and Steve Hecker) defeated Carmine Gardner and Darell Sullivan when Hecker pinned Gardner after a powerslam in 0:05:19. Rating: **
Pre-taped vignette from Trump International. "Million Dollar" Stan Trump promises to make The Southern Maulers pay for sticking their noses in other people's business at Starcade. Beware the oncoming storm!
Frank Gresham interviews The Southern Maulers for their response. Tex says they couldn't stand by and let a no-good cheat like Trump gang up on Bruiser Barton. They admit Samoans are tough, but they don't back down from fights.
Carl Stryker pinned Black Belt Douglas after a gutwrench suplex in 0:05:18. Rating: -** 1/2 [Jake Stryker interfered against Black Belt Douglas.]
Jake Stryker bragged about how great his son was - nevermind that daddy's interference helped Carl get the win.
Cpl. Punishment made Walton Baker submit to the Punishment Due in 0:04:08. Rating: *
Porkchop Jones pinned Joachim Farkas with the Special Delivery in 0:08:39. Rating: -*** 1/4

With the announce table destroyed, the announcers send the show to Frank Gresham who hypes some upcoming shows while attempting to intercept Mean Massimo. The TV Champ says he'll do whatever it takes to win.

WCWF Saturday Night #23 - December 15, 1984 taped at Pittsburgh Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, PA
Jake Blackheart and J.C. Magnum defeated Stroker Ace and Rick Samson when Blackheart made Samson submit to the Blackout in 0:13:59. Rating: * 3/4
A battle of mighty mustaches ended with a rare submission by Samson who couldn't fight out of a sleeper in the middle of the ring. Blackheart's decision to align himself with Magnum seems to have been a smart move, even as the surly Texan was clearly annoyed by Magnum's overly enthusiastic victory celebration.
Porkchop Jones pinned Buck Hamato with the Special Delivery in 0:08:52. Rating: * 3/4
Stan Trump defeated Black Belt Douglas when Black Belt Douglas passed out in the Million Dollar Dream in 0:05:31. Rating: DUD
Trump tried to bribe Douglas into forfeiting the match, but Douglas refused.
Frank Gresham interviewed Randy "The Ram" Robinson. Robinson is proud to be closing out the year as WCWF World Heavyweight Champion. It's been the most amazing year of his life. He's worked hard to get here and will continue to work hard to remain champ, but he couldn't have done it without the support of the fans.
Mean Massimo pinned Sol Salamanca with the Pasta Buster in 0:09:23. Rating: *** (Mean Massimo retained the WCWF TV Title.)

Also, events like Superclash, Fall Brawl, Starcade, and the MSG shows have been so successful that there will be more in 1985. Fall Brawl and Starcade return from last year, but WCWF is bringing back Great American Bash in the summer (the first GAB was held in 1979). But the biggest supercard in wrestling history will happen on March 31, 1985: Wrestlemania! It will be available not only on closed-circuit TV, but the new pay-per-view system.
