WCWF Saturday Night #26 - January 5, 1985 taped at the Oakland Arena, Oakland, CA
Big Hoss McGraw pinned Jack Splat with the Big Hoss Splash in 0:02:24. Rating: -* 1/2
McGraw is a big, hairy-chested masked American wrestler and he squashed his appropriately-named fellow newcomer. Frank Gresham got a word with the winner. Gresham points out McGraw is the only masked wrestler currently in WCWF. Why does he need to hide his identity? McGraw launches into a long-winded, rambling explanation about something that happened years ago in Portland. When it becomes clear he's nowhere near getting to the point, Gresham quietly signals for a commercial.
Carl Stryker pinned Jerry Livingston with the Final Strike in 0:04:47. Rating: -1/2*

Brett Hale pinned Darell Sullivan with the Hale to the Chief in 0:04:03. Rating: 1/4*
Bulk Logan defeated Bobby Jackson by disqualification in 0:05:07. Rating: -**
Jackson had a rough December thanks to Mean Massimo and his January didn't get off to a better start. Jackson put up a good fight, but became frustrated with Logan's cheating and stalling. Bobby grabbed his diamond-encrusted white glove, put it on, and decked the Bulkster in full view of the ref.
After the match, Frank Gresham interviewed the winner. Logan: Let me tell you something, brother. People like Bobby Jackson aren't very smart. The Bulkster never gets frustrated by his opponent, brother, but if he did he would be smart enough to cheat without getting caught, brother.
Trump International (Isileli Kaelo, Kamu, and Taku) defeated Aidan Taylor, Alfie Johnson, and Andrew Davis when Kaelo pinned Alfie with the Kick of Fear in 0:03:03. Rating: -1/4*
"Million Dollar" Stan Trump was at ringside as his goon squad easily decimated some enhancement talent. Trump gets the mic afterwards and says Samoan Storm will face The Southern Maulers at Wrestlemania...if the Maulers can survive until then!
Jake Blackheart made Jimmy Blast submit to a wristlock in 0:06:49. Rating: ** 1/4 (Jake Blackheart won the WCWF United States Title.)
A stunning upset as Blackheart wins the US Title for the second time, having lost it just over a year ago in a famous match at Starrcade. Blackheart's new allies, J.C. Magnum and Veronica, were at ringside. When the match spilled outside, they distracted the ref. Blackheart slammed Blast's hand between the ringpost and steel stairs, causing the champ to cry out in pain. Back in the ring, Blackheart applied a simple wristlock that left Blast in excruciating pain and got the submission. As soon as Blackheart released the hold, Blast crumbled to the mat, clutching his injured appendage. The ref realized something was seriously wrong and signaled for medical attention. Blackheart, Magnum, and Veronica celebrated in the ring as the show went off the air.

Before the match, Reese got the mic and mocked Maldano's wimpy physique and told him to take a walk before The Natural snapped him in two. To Maldano's credit, he didn't back down.
Frank Gresham interviews Randy "The Ram" Robinson, WCWF World Heavyweight Champion. Who will Robinson be defending his title against this month and where? Robinson says we're approaching the one-year anniversary of him winning the title. The man he won it from has never gotten a rematch yet has remained one of the best wrestlers in WCWF. Next week The Ram will have a rematch against The Ayatollah and the title is on the line!

[Dark Match]: Cpl. Punishment made Kevin Conway submit to the Punishment Due in 0:05:25. Rating: DUD
Big Hoss McGraw pinned Aidan Taylor with the Big Hoss Splash in 0:02:12. Rating: -* 3/4
Pre-taped promo from Jammin' Jimmy Blast. His hand is in a cast after being crushed by Jake Blackheart. "A little over a ago, Jake Blackheart and I beat each other bloody in a cage match at the first Starrcade. As the referee handed me the US Title and I tried to stop the blood from dripping into my eyes, I looked at Jake and saw a man I could respected. I respected him as a fellow wrestler and as a man. He's a tough S.O.B. But I put that feud behind me and I was proud to be WCWF United States Champion. I had no problem defending the title against Jake two weeks ago. He won a battle royal and earned his shot. When J.C. Magnum came out with him for the match that just added to the challenge. Then we ended up outside the ring and Jake Blackheart crushed my hand with the ringsteps. *holds his cast for emphasis* Jake, when I said you were a 'tough S.O.B.', my emphasis was on the first word but I guess you decided to emphasize the last word instead. You not only took my title, but you tried to cripple me. You're old enough to know better, but I guess in that black heart of yours that you're too much of a piece of sh** to care. Doctors tell me my hand will be healed by March, in time for the biggest event in wrestling history. We took it to the limit at the first Starcade and I promise you I will take you waaaaaay beyond that at the first Wrestlemania. You no longer have my respect, but you have my attention...and my United States Title."

Stan Trump made Cliff Maldano submit to the Million Dollar Dream in 0:03:18. Rating: * 1/4
Before the match, Million Dollar Stan offered the scrawny Maldano a nice, new $100 bill if he could do even 10 pushups. Maldano dropped to the mat and started doing pushups without much difficulty. As he dropped down for the final pushup, Trump started stomping on Maldano's back. The bet had been a ruse!
The Southern Maulers (Texas Mauler and Missouri Mauler) defeated The Motorway Gents (Morris Minor and Ford Prefect) when Tex made Prefect submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:04:47. Rating: * 1/2
The crowd loudly chanted U-S-A throughout the match. After the match, the Maulers said they are looking forward to fighting Samoan Storm at Wrestlemania.
Bruiser Barton pinned Lance Catamaran with the Calf Branding in 0:05:09. Rating: *
Catamaran got some cheap heat by insulting the crowd before the match and acting extra snobbish. That made the fans all the more eager when Barton, a Texan, was Catamaran's opponent.
The announcers hype the Robinson-Ayatollah rematch, declaring it the biggest wrestling match that has ever occurred on free national television.
Randy Robinson defeated The Ayatollah by disqualification in 0:08:41. Rating: ** 1/4 (Randy Robinson retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.) [Bulk Logan interfered against Randy Robinson.]
The crowd was rabidly behind the champion, as you would expect. They became practically riotous when General Winter marched out with a USSR flag and lurked at ringside. The referee was trying to get Winter to leave the ringside area, which allowed The Ayatollah to get in an unseen cheapshot in on Randy Robinson. Out came Bulk Logan. He pointed menacingly at General Winter who backed away. Logan got into the ring and shook his finger at The Ayatollah who backed away from him. Robinson didn't know what to make of all this...until the Bulkster leveled him with the Axe Bomber! Then he followed with the Big Leg Drop! Ayatollah and Winter joined in the beatdown. The crowd booed mercilessly and started hurling bottles and other trash into the ring. The A-Team Theme hit and out charged John Murdoch. Bruiser Barton, Brett Hale, and Sol Salamanca soon followed, one after the other. The heels bailed. The faces helped Randy Robinson to his feet. Murdoch got the world title from the timekeeper and handed to Robinson, who accepted it and shook Murdoch's hand. The show ended up with the faces standing tall in the ring while the heels slowly retreated back to the locker room as they continue to be pelted by garbage from the fans.
John Elliott (play-by-play announcer), final words of the show: Bulk Logan has struck down world champion Randy Robinson, and he's betrayed America to do it!

General Winter pinned Stroker Ace with the Nuclear Winter in 0:03:02. Rating: 1/4*
Pre-taped promo from The Detroit Connection talking about how they're just a couple of blue collar guys from blue collar families. They've worked hard to get here and will make the most of their title shot.
Wally Richter pinned Andrew Davis after an elbowdrop in 0:02:43. Rating: -**
John Murdoch made Darell Sullivan submit to the Sierra Tango Foxtrot in 0:03:30. Rating: 3/4*
After the match, Frank Gresham interviews John Murdoch. "The One-Man Army" was disgusted at what he saw last week. A real American wouldn't ally himself with General Winter and The Ayatollah so Bulk Logan is no real American! Randy "The Ram" Robinson arrives on the interview set, WCWF World Heavyweight Title around his waist. He thanks Murdoch for his help last week and they shake hands. Robinson says he wants a war to to settle the score on the MTV special next month: Robinson and Murdoch against Logan and The Ayatollah.
Sol Salamanca pinned Mark Dunlap with the Toluca Sunrise in 0:03:13. Rating: ** 1/2
Pre-taped promo from The Supernauts. They respect Steve Hecker and Joe Dean. They respect their hard work. They know hard work. Dreadnaut's family built England's mighty battleships and Hugenaut's built their churches. They aren't royalty. They didn't grow up on country estates. They weren't handed anything. They love America. They love the competition. They worked their way up through the wrestling organizations of Europe and for the last year they have beaten everyone in WCWF. They are proud to be world champions and they welcome the opportunity to face The Detroit Connection and continue to show that The Supernauts still the best tag team in the world!
Rick Samson pinned Alfie Johnson with the Body Crush in 0:01:29. Rating: * 3/4

Handshakes before the match. There is a small U-S-A chant from the crowd, but the Detroit boys tell the crowd to knock it off. Good, clean, hard-fought match.
After the match, Frank Gresham wants a word with the champs, but Eddie Fargo interrupts. "You guys think you're the best in the world? What a joke! You've never met the best." Someone blindsides Dreadnaut with a running high knee that puts him down. Then the attacker and Fargo double team Hugenaut and give him a spike piledriver on the floor. We finally get a good look at the attacker: DAVID RUNNER! The former NWA and WCWF World Heavyweight Champion has returned!

WCWF & MTV Present The War To Settle The Score Madison Square Garden, New York City February 18, 1985
Sol Salamanca pinned Cpl. Punishment with the Toluca Sunrise in 0:01:58. Rating: *
Salamanca and Punishment have a similiar win rate over the last year, but for young Sol to score such a quick win over a veteran is quite impressive.
Frank Nowinski pinned Buck Hamato with the Polish Hammer in 0:06:59. Rating: ** 1/4
Eddie Bearden defeated Ignacio Mercer by countout in 0:06:17. Rating: -3/4*
Bearden hit the Ghetto Blaster near the ropes, knocking Mercer out to the floor where he failed to beat the count back in.
AC-DC (Angus Clark and Duncan Clark) defeated Free Love (Scott Free and Rudolph Love) when Duncan pinned Free with the Hells Bells in 0:05:58. Rating: **
Jimmy Blast defeated J.C. Magnum when J.C. Magnum submitted to a figure-four leglock in 0:07:40. Rating: *** [Veronica interfered against Jimmy Blast.]
Magnum has been Jake Blackheart's ally/lackey the last couple months. Blast's decisive win sent a clear message to the US Champion.
At a special set by the ring entrance area, Commissioner Pedro Gonzalez (joined by various WCWF VIPs and current World Champion Randy "The Ram" Robinson) describes the great career of "The Living Legend" Mario Mancini. Two decades in WCWF, more than half of that time spent as World Heavyweight Champion. His reign of nearly eight years is a record that will surely never be broken. The greatest wrestler of the 1960s and 1970s, the hero to millions, the most dominate force ever to set foot in Madison Square Garden. "Ecstacy of Gold" brings out Mario Mancini to a huge ovation from the crowd, joined by his son, Luigi. Mario and Pedro hug. Mancini thanks the fans for their love. He is honored to be in the Garden again and to see how great WCWF has become. A large trophy is unveiled and presented to Mancini from WCWF. Mancini accepts graciously. He asks Robinson to come forward and shake his hand, as one champion to another. Mancini puts over The Ram the wrestler of the 80s, and thanks Randy for doing what he, Mancini, could not do: defeat The Ayatollah.
"Overkill" by Motorhead brings out Mean Massimo who contronts his mentor. Massimo calls Mancini a washed up, worthless quitter. Mancini admits regrets - not the least of them not teaching Massimo to be a better wrestler and a better man. Heroes don't assault referees or sell their title belts. Mancini: You got the physical gifts and the fortitude, but you don't have the character to ever be World Heavyweight Champion! In response to those words, Mean Massimo grabs the trophy and smashes Mario Mancini over the head with it! Pandemonium ensues as Massimo is restrained by various officials, staff, and Randy Robinson before security can drag him away. The crowd boos Massimo mercilessly.
The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated Big Hoss McGraw and Wally Richter when Dreadnaut pinned Richter with the Broadside in 0:18:09. Rating: -** 3/4 (The Supernauts retained the WCWF Tag Team Titles.)
Jake Blackheart pinned Rick Samson after the Blackheart Suplex in 0:15:08. Rating: *** 3/4 (Jake Blackheart retained the WCWF United States Title.)
On MTV, music videos showcase some of the stars of WCWF followed by a patriotic vignette featuring Randy "The Ram" Robinson and "The One-Man Army" John Murdoch.
Before the main event, the announcers take note of some celebrities in attendance including a large black man with a mohawk and gold chains in the front row. He's an actor in some TV show. Probably not important.
Randy Robinson and John Murdoch defeated General Winter and The Ayatollah when Robinson defeated Ayatollah by disqualification in 0:10:05. Rating: * [Bulk Logan interfered against Randy Robinson.]
The score remains unsettled. The Bulkster attacked his Wrestlemania opponent, causing the match to be throw out and leading to a 3-on-2 brawl. Winter send Murdoch out of the ring with a big lariat and followed. The aforementioned individual in front row got into a war of words with General Winter who threw a punch which was blocked and a return punch thrown! The man climbed over the railing and brawled with Winter, showing some amateur boxing skills. Meanwhile, the world champion made a comeback despite the 2-on-1 odds in the ring. Seeing the odds were no longer in their favor, the heels beat a retreat. The show ended with Robinson, Murdoch, and the individual identified as B. A. Brakkas standing tall in the ring. Is "Mr. B" coming to Wrestlemania? Tune in on WCW Saturday Night to find out!

Massimo refuses: he will sell the title, but he wont lay down for anyone for any amount of money. Trump is livid. Stan Trump, with his usual goon squad in tow, interrupts and insists he should be awarded the championship because he's clearly the top contender. Gonzalez agrees Trump deserves a title shot and will be in the match at Wrestlemania. Trump gets a smug look on his face. His opponent: Sol Salamanca! That wipes the smile off Trump's face. Million Dollar Stan says people like Gonzalez don't belong in a ring with him; they should be mowing the yard at one of his mansions. Gonzalez says he knows what kind of tricks Trump gets up to so there will be an Enforcer at ringside to ensure: The Jolly Green Giant! Massimo has brutalized opponents for no good reason, attacked officials, and smashed a trophy over Mancini's head. And now he's tried to sell a championship, one of the most coveted prizes in wrestling. Mancini doesn't know if he made a mistake by thinking he could mentor Massimo to greatness, or if the teacher failed the student. Either way, Mario Mancini is going to lace up his boots one last time and come out of retirement for one last match against his former pupil.

Wrestlemania Preview March 31, 1985 - Madison Square Garden live on closed-circuit TV and PPV where available
For the Vacant WCWF TV Title, With Special Enforcer The Jolly Green Giant: Sol Salamanca vs "Million Dollar" Stan Trump Sol Salamanca is the young, eager, up-and-comer who wants to live up to his childhood hero, Pedro Morales. Stan Trump has tried unsuccessfully to buy championships. His goon squad, Trump International, could factor into the match, but The Jolly Green Giant will be at ringside to prevent such shenanigans. Perhaps the bigger question is who will Trump try to bribe next? Surely he'll break out the biggest bribe ever for the the biggest stage of all?
The Southern Maulers vs Trump International ("The Tongan Terror" Isileli Kaelo & Kamu) This was supposed to be Samoan Storm, but Taku left WCWF under vague circumstances. Back at Starcade, the Maulers prevented Samoan Storm from interfering against Bruiser Barton in his street fight against Kaelo.
The A-Team (B.A. Brakkas & John Murdoch) vs Ayatollah & General Winter Murdoch has billed himself as "The One Man Army" but got in trouble after crossing paths with two foreign menaces. He's tried various partners to level the playing field, but the heels have come out ahead each time. B.A. Brakkas is a movie star making the jump to pro wrestling. Will have what it takes to win the big one for the USA?
Teacher vs. Student: "The Living Legend" Mario Mancini vs. Mean Massimo Mario Mancini was the star of WCWF in the 1960s and 1970s including two World Heavyweight Title reigns totally more than ten years. In the latter part of his career he served as a father-figure to a young Mean Massimo. Mancini retired in 1980, an early victim in The Ayatollah's "Reign of Terror". Massimo struggled to live up to his mentor's legacy. He's grown angry and vicious, but with this new attitude has come in-ring success. Mancini received a trophy in Madison Square Garden in February, only to have Massimo crash the ceremony and smash the trophy over his former teacher's head. After almost five years out of the ring, can The Living Legend shake off the ring-rust to teach one finally lesson? Or has the pupil become the master?
WCWF Tag Team Titles: The Supernauts (c) vs Old School (Eddie Fargo & David Runner) The Supernauts are a young powerhouse team that debuted in 1984 and have dominated the tag team scene ever since. They're facing their toughest challenge yet. Former world champion David Runner has returned to WCWF for "one last run" and he's gunning for the Tag Titles he never held. To that end, he's teamed up with notorious scoundrel/strutter Eddie Fargo. Do these two wily veterans have enough tricks to take the gold?
WCWF US Title Match - Last Man Standing, Loser Leaves Town: Jammin' Jimmy Blast vs Jake Blackheart (c) Jimmy Blast and Jake Blackheart have feuded on and off for years. Blackheart won the title at Starcade '83 in a bloody cage match against Bruiser Barton then lost it six months later to Blast. Jake got the title back early this year when he broke Blast's hand, with help from lackey J.C. Magnum. Blast beat Magnum at the last MSG Show and is now ready for revenge on his old foe. The bad blood is such that this will be anything-goes and the loser is gone from WCWF.
WCWF World Heavyweight Title: Randy "The Ram" Robinson (c) vs Bulk Logan Randy Robinson earned lavish praise by rising up the ranks and ending The Ayatollah's Reign of Terror over a year ago at Superclash. He's been a strong champion ever since. Now The Ram faces an opponent that is basically his mirror universe counterpart: Bulk Logan. As selfish as Robinson is selfless, scorning the fans as much as Robinson loves them, Logan will stop at nothing to win the most prestigious championship in professional wrestling.

Wrestlemania - Mar 31, 1985 Madison Square Garden, New York, NY broadcast on closed-circuit television and pay-per-view
[Dark Match]: The Detroit Connection (Joe Dean and Steve Hecker) defeated The West German Express (Baron Von Kaiser and Markus Von Krupp) when Hecker pinned Von Krupp after a bridging back suplex in 0:05:22. Rating: 3/4*
John Elliott and Robbie Atkinson welcome viewers to Wrestlemania and WCWF's first foray into PPV. We get shots of the sold-out MSG crowd, including celebrities Muhammad Ali, Cindy Lauper, Ozzy Osbourne, and Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister, as Angus Clark and Duncan Clark play a live instrumental version of "For Those About To Rock" by AC/DC. The announcers explain WCWF's AC-DC will be providing live entrance music tonight for most of the performers.
We go to interview Frank Gresham who explains that while WCWF has a longstanding policy that the World Heavyweight Title Match always goes on last, the New York Athletic Commission has ordered that the Blast-Blackheart match conclude the card due to the possibility of bloodshed creating health and safety concerns in the ring. "Million Dollar" Stan Trump walks up accompanied by Trump International: Eddie Bearden (who doesn't look happy to be there), "The Tongan Terror" Isileli Kaelo, Kamu, and Taku. Trump explains he used "persuasion" to get the visa issues cleared up so Samoan Storm can take on The Southern Maulers tonight, and any other business that needs taken care of. Everyone is saying tonight is the big night where Stan Trump finally becomes a champion!
FOR THE VACANT WCWF TV TITLE (SPECIAL ENFORCER: THE JOLLY GREEN GIANT): SOL SALAMANCA vs "MILLION DOLLAR" STAN TRUMP
Trump comes to the ring with Isileli Kaelo, the latter carrying the metal briefcase full of money used several weeks ago in Trump's attempt to buy the TV Title from Mean Massimo. Million Dollar Stan unsuccessfully tries to bribe Salamanca to lay and throw the match. The referee orders Kaelo to leave so Trump tries to bribe the ref, who seems to consider it a moment, then thinks better of it. Finally he tries to bribe The Jolly Green Giant who laughs at Trump and tells Kaelo to leave with the briefcase. The match finally gets underway.
Salmanca uses his quickness to run wild at first. Eddie Bearden makes a half-hearted attempt to interfere, but is intercepted and sent off by The Jolly Green Giant. The referee is distracted by the confrontation which allows Trump to sneak in a low blow and start controlling the match. Kaelo comes back with the metal briefcase and takes a swing at Jolly with it, but misses. The Giant grabs the briefcase and smashes it over The Tongan Terror's head, putting a giant dent into the briefcase, dropping Kaleo out cold, and sending money flying eveywhere. Meanwhile, Salamanca is trying to make a comeback and Trump is struggling, especially as he watches his plans unraveling at ringside. The Million Dollar Knee misses and now Salamanca is back in control. Several flashy moves later he his his finisher. Samoan Storm tries to run in, but The Jolly Green Giant fights holds them off for the pinfall.
Match for the vacant WCWF TV Title: Sol Salamanca pinned Stan Trump with the Toluca Sunrise in 0:07:28. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match, The Southern Maulers come out and brawl with Samoan Storm to the back. EMTs come stretcher off Isileli Kaelo. Commissioner Pedro Gonzalez enters the ring with the championship and Stan Trump tries to protest, but is told to get lost. Jolly pulls Trump out of the ring and sends him on his way. Gonzalez personally puts the WCWF TV Title around Sol Salamanca's waist. The two hug afterwards, tears of joy streaming down Salmanca's face. The Jolly Green Giant hoists Salamanca up on his shoulder for a victory lap around the ring.
The announcers hold up some of the money from the busted briefcase. It turns out most of the cash was movie prop money printed with Donald Trump's face. The announcers have a laugh at the idea that Donald Trump could ever be elected president.
Frank Gresham catches Eddie Bearden in the back for a word. Bearden says his business with Stan Trump is finished.
Brett Hale pinned Carl Stryker with the Hale to the Chief in 0:05:07. Rating: -* 1/4 [Jake Stryker interfered against Brett Hale.]
Hale and Stryker are former tag team partners, but split up several months ago. Neither has really shined in singles competition. After Hale scores the victory, Jake Stryker walks out on his son.
The Southern Maulers (Texas Mauler and Missouri Mauler) defeated Samoan Storm (Kamu and Taku) when TX Mauler pinned Taku after a double underhook suplex in 0:08:31. Rating: -** 1/2
Stan Trump did not accompany Southern Storm to the ring and they looked to be a disadvantage without a manager.
"THE LIVING LEGEND" MARIO MANCINI vs MEAN MASSIMO
This was a tough fight. Mancini looked a little rusty at first, but got into a grove after a few minutes. He tried to work a methodical, technical style while Massimo tried to brawl. The Living Legend eventually got his former protege locked into his signature bearhug, the Italian Crush. For a moment, victory seemed to be at hand for Mario, but Mancini broke the hold with a headbutt and a series of vicious earringers. Massimo proceeded to pummel the dazed Mancini into the mat then stomp him down further. The Pasta Buster set up the Mean Machine (Vader Bomb) for the win.
Mean Massimo pinned Mario Mancini with the Mean Machine in 0:09:03. Rating: *** 1/4
Mean Massimo celebrated his victory, to the displeasure of the crowd. Mario Mancini slowly pulled himself to his feet and shook his head in disappointment. Then the former teacher approached his former student. Words were exchanged. Mario extended his hand. Mean considered it for a moment then slowly shook hands. Mancini raised Massimo's hand, acknowledging he had met his better in the ring.
The A-Team (B.A. Brakkas and John Murdoch) defeated General Winter and The Ayatollah when Brakkas pinned Winter with the Bad Ass Slam in 0:06:35. Rating: * 1/2
Frank Gresham interviews Mario Mancini in the back. Mancini says Mean Massimo was once like another son to him. Mario is sad those days are gone, never to return. But the two of them met in the ring and fought as men, as equals. Now Mancini can respect Massimo again. He doesn't agree with how his former protege does things, but he recognizes his talent. Someday when Mean Massimo becomes WCWF World Heavyweight Champion, Mario Mancini promises to be the one to put the champion around his waist.
WCWF WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES MATCH: THE SUPERNAUTS (c) vs OLD SCHOOL
Raw power dominated at first, but the cunning of the heels soon took over. Huguenaut got worked over pretty badly in the corner several times. Finally the hot tag was made to Dreadnaut who cleaned house, but got cradled on a suplex attempt, with a handful of tights for good measure.
Old School (David Runner and Eddie Fargo) defeated The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) when Runner pinned Huguenaut with a small package in 0:07:36. Rating: * (Old School won the WCWF Tag Team Titles.)
WCWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH: RANDY "THE RAM" ROBINSON (c) vs BULK LOGAN
Logan came out first, looking smug. Robinson was high-fiving fans on the way to the ring. As soon as the bell rang, Logan started stalling. When they finally got locked up, Logan promptly went low. It set the tone for the rest of the match, and Robinson seemed thrown off by Logan's mind games. When the match spilled out to the floor and the referee tried to get both men back in the ring, Logan hit the Axe Bomber on Robinson is such a way as to knock the champ into the ref. With the official temporarily incapacitated, The Bulkster grabbed the championship belt and struck The Ram upside the head with it when he tried to get up. Logan rolled Robinson back into the ring then helped the ref up. Back in the ring, a big boot and the Big Leg Drop gave us a new world champion.
Bulk Logan pinned Randy Robinson after the Big Leg Drop in 0:13:35. Rating: -** (Bulk Logan won the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.)
Rather that put the champion around his waist or even over his shoulder, Logan played it like an air guitar as he headed to the back to the strains of "Voodoo Chile."
LOSER-LEAVES-WCWF STREET FIGHT FOR THE WCWF UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: JAMMIN' JIMMY BLAST vs JAKE BLACKHEART
This match delivered the violence it promised. Blast was left bloody from a chairshot to the head while Blackheart did so after being sent headfirst into the ringpost. The fought in and out of the ring. The end came with a table set up near on corner of the ring. Blackheart tried to superplex Blast through the table, but Jimmy blocked the attempt and gave Jake a piledriver off the top and through the table.
No-Countout-No-DQ Loser-Leaves-Town Match: Jimmy Blast pinned Jake Blackheart with the Blaster in 0:14:18. Rating: *** 1/2 (Jimmy Blast won the WCWF United States Title.)
Card rating: 3/4*

WCWF Saturday Night resumes its two-hour format, having been partly preempted in March due to March Madness (and definitely not because the guy who books this circuit forgot the show went to two hours at the start of 1985).
WCWF Saturday Night #39 - aired Apr 6, 1985
Announcers recap the events of Wrestlemania.
Porkchop Jones pinned Kevin Conway after a kneedrop in 0:03:08. Rating: -*

The Mighty Tor pinned Aidan Taylor with the Tor Smash in 0:01:04. Rating: -* 1/4
Tor stood in the middle of the ring and no-sold several moves from Taylor before delivering a kind of double downward open palm strike to Taylor's shoulders that caused the smaller man to crumple to the mat. Tor then put one foot on his fallen opponent as the referee counted the the pinfall, all the while staring blankly in Xan's direction. The match won, Tor shambled out of the ring to his master without letting the referee raise his hand. Very strange.

Brakkas says he has decided to stay in WCWF for awhile rather than return to Hollywood. He pities any fool that doubts his toughness. Murdoch says he's been a "One Man Army" for awhile, but now he's going to show he can be a team player too. He suggests the WCWF World Tag Team Titles might be in their future!
Mean Massimo pinned Vaughn Parsons with the Mean Machine in 0:00:39. Rating: -3/4*
In a short interview by Frank Gresham after the match, Massimo says he proved himself at Wrestlemania by beating his former mentor, Mario Mancini. He's the meanest man in WCWF so don't get in his way!

Bruiser Barton pinned Darell Sullivan with the Calf Branding in 0:04:38. Rating: *
Pre-taped interview with The Jolly Green Giant. He's not worried about "Million Dollar" Stan Trump placing a bounty on him, but he will be at the MSG Show next week and the inaugural Saturday Night's Main Event if anyone wants to try. He knows Isileli Kaelo is probably very angry about being concussed with a metal briefcase at Wrestlemania. Jolly offers to face Kaelo at the Great American Bash.
Big Hoss McGraw pinned Antwan Soto with the Big Hoss Splash in 0:05:43. Rating: -3/4*
Rick Samson pinned Rudolph Love after a gutwrench suplex in 0:04:49. Rating: * 1/2
The third and final Hell On Wheels vignette. The two sports cars seen in the first two vignettes come sliding dramatically to the curb in front of a posh club. Hell On Wheels arrives next week!
Wally Richter pinned Cliff Maldano with the Earthshaker in 0:02:24. Rating: -3/4*
Pre-taped promo from The Ayatollah. Mostly his usual jingoism, but he also says the Soviet Union is weak. That's why they are losing in Afghanistan and that's why General Winter got pinned at Wrestlemania! He also sarcastically congratulates Bulk Logan for winning the world title and calls him a Real American Hero in a tone that is clearly not intended to be complimentary.
The Mighty Tor pinned Rocky Hendrix with the Tor Smash in 0:01:11. Rating: -**

Afterwards, Brakkas explained to Murdoch what had happened and Murdoch apologized to Bearden. Frank Gresham intercepted Bearden leaving the ring and asked him about Trump's interference. Eddie responded that he had a deal and considered that deal closed. Since Trump can leave him alone, Bearden is going to kick Trump's ass all over Madison Square Garden!
Sol Salamanca pinned Porkchop Jones with the Toluca Sunrise in 0:00:15. Rating: 1/2* (Sol Salamanca retained the WCWF TV Title.)
Salamanca came flying across the ring at the bell and caught Jones with his trademark forearm uppercut. Young Sol was so surprised it took him a moment to realize he could just cover the big man for the win. After the match, the champ made sure his challenger was okay. Porkchop wasn't very happy about the near-record loss. After some hesitation, he shook Sol's offered hand, but was left shaking his head as he left the ring.

The Mighty Tor is basically the Tor Johnson character from "Plan 9 From Outer Space" but played by this universe's equivalent of George Steele. Rick Blood is, of course, mirror universe Ricky Steamboat.
Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe is compromised of "Honest" George Dewey, "Brave" Benjamin Cheatham, and "Slick" William Howe.

He defeated "some fat piece of French-speaking trash" at the World Cup of Wrestling, which satisfies his contractual obligation to defend the World Heavyweight Title until Great American Bash. Maybe he'll beat out Nikki Sixx to be the new bassist for Motley Crue between now and then? News & Rumors
WCWF purchased Maple Leaf Wrestling. They have hired MLW wrestlers "Maniac" Mark Gibson, "Very Fine" Rick Vine, and Rob Dynamo. Rehiring Alpha Bravo was also considered, but WCWF decided not to bring him back at this time as they are mostly trying to focus on younger talent. Rumor has it Bravo will retire and go into the import/export business.
NBC is happy with the ratings for Saturday Night's Main Event. Other SNMEs will be scheduled for the future.
The short title reign for Old School was not the plan coming out of Wrestlemania. David Runner got into some kind of heated dispute with WCWF management and quit, ruining what was supposed to be a lengthy retirement tour, with plans to transition into a managerial role afterwards. That has all been scrapped. An agreement was worked out and the SNME card hastily changed (neither Supernauts nor Old School were originally scheduled) whereby Runner would not have to work any more shows other than showing up to do the job. One rumor said The Supernauts had instructions that, if at any time Runner got uncooperative, the Dreadnaut was to stiff him with the hardest clothesline possible then shoot pin him. Whatever the contigency plan actually was, it wasn't necessary as Runner showed up and cooperated.
Hell On Wheels have been fired for disciplinary reasons. The night before their a TV taping that would have included only their second match, Hal and Luke apparently got really, really wasted in a hotel bar and caused a major disturbance, including instigating a fight and causing property damage. Unconfirmed rumors say cocaine was snorted off the ass of a hooker bent over the bar, but that's not mentioned in the police report. WCWF management is pissed about the money wasted on the Hell on Wheels vignettes. The duo have been warned they'll end up in early graves if they don't stop living their gimmick.
Hell On Wheels is not intended to be analogous to The Midnight Rockers, but they may end up that way! Which one is Shawn and which one is Marty?

WCWF Saturday Night #45 - May 18, 1985
Bruiser Barton pinned Lance Catamaran with the Calf Branding in 0:03:09. Rating: * 1/2
Frank Gresham is in the back waiting to interview a new tag team, The Orient Express. The normally unflappable interviewer seems momentarily at a loss for words when the two men come on set for their interview and are decidedly not Asian. "Luscious" Louis Dupre chastises Gresham for being a "stupid American who doesn't know about the greatest railroad in world history!" Dupre is from Paris and his partner, "Magnificent" Mehmet Suleiman, is from Istanbul. Suleiman yells something in Turkish. Hanoi Xan joins the interview and states that The Orient Express are under his management. It's all part of his master plan for world domination, he says with a sinister laugh.

Stan Trump defeated Bobby Jackson when Bobby Jackson passed out in the Million Dollar Dream in 0:05:25. Rating: ** [Benjamin Cheatham interfered against Bobby Jackson.]

Rick Blood made Jerry Livingston submit to the Blood Simple in 0:06:34. Rating: ***
Baron Von Kaiser pinned Vaughn Parsons after a gutwrench suplex in 0:05:47. Rating: 1/2*
Porkchop Jones and Eddie Bearden were supposed to team up for the first time tonight, but Jones comes out to the ring alone. He explains Bearden isn't here, having been pulled over and arrested on the way to the arena! Porkchop couldn't help arrange bail in time for the show. He says the charges are bull***t and he's sure he knows who's behind this: Stan Trump! "The Star-Spangled Banner" plays and out comes Brett Hale. He loves America, but recognizes the justice system sometimes makes mistakes especially when the rich and powerful manipulate it. He agrees to team with Porkchop tongiht
Porkchop Jones and Brett Hale defeated Darell Sullivan and Mark Dunlap when Hale pinned Sullivan with the Hale to the Chief in 0:03:46. Rating: DUD (Eddie Bearden no-showed.)

Everyone, even Castro, was surprised when Hendrix immediately tapped out to a chinlock, but the reason became apparent when Rocky immediately clutched his knee in agony.
Vignette featuring "The Natural" Chris Reese. While working on his physique and tan back home in South Florida he learned of another wrestler almost as handsome as he is. Tonight he returns to the ring with a model man, "Very Fine" Rick Vine. Vine drops in to gloat in a heavy Quebois accent.
Rick Vine and Chris Reese defeated Aidan Taylor and Andrew Davis when Vine submitted Davis with the Quebec Crab in 0:10:44. Rating: *** 1/4
Backstage interview with Eddie Bearden and Porkchop Jones. Bearden says he was pulled over by a police officer for a broken tail light...in broad daylight! The cop ran his license and it came back with a warrant for his arrest. The warrant is based on false charges, no doubt filed by Stan Trump's crooked lawyers.
Jimmy Blast pinned Jerry Livingston with the Gourdbuster in 0:06:14. Rating: **
In a post-match promo, Blast accepts Massimo's challenge for a US Title Match at Great American Bash.
The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated Antwan Soto and Rudolph Love when Dreadnaut pinned Rudolph with the Broadside in 0:02:34. Rating: DUD
Post-match, Frank Gresham interviews The Supernauts. They're proud to be tag champs once again. The Southern Maulers interrupt. They respect The Supernauts and they know Dreadnaut and Huguenaut both love America, but at Great American Bash the foreigners need to put the tag titles on the line against the best American tag team of 1985. Dreadnaut can't think of another team that deserves the shot more than the Maulers. The two teams share tense handshakes.
Randy Robinson pinned Ollie Johnson with the Ram Jam in 0:01:03. Rating: DUD
In a post-match promo, Randy "The Ram" Robinson talks about how Memorial Day weekend has him thinking about the Great American Bash. It's time to prove that the day he won the world title was truly no fluke. He wants a rematch from Superclash; he wants to face The Ayatollah!

The announcers run down the card, noting that Bulk Logan has chosen Stroker Ace for his title defense.
Isileli Kaelo pinned Ollie Johnson with the Kick of Fear in 0:00:14. Rating: 3/4*
This was Kaelo's first appearance since Wrestlemania. He stormed down to the ring, not even waiting for Stan Trump, and immediately destroyed poor Ollie with a flurry of blows and a massive kick. With the match won, The Tongan Terror continued to abuse the poor jobber until the referee threatened to reverse the decision to a disqualification. Kaelo backed the official into a corner, but when things looked like they were going to get ugly the Tongan simply left the ring. Frank Gresham rushed to get a word in, only to be screamed at in Tongan. Stan Trump, looking a bit rattled by his muscle being out of his control, confirmed Isileli Kaelo will face The Jolly Green Giant at Great American Bash.
Bad Wolf Bridges pinned Jerry Livingston with the Comanche Driver in 0:02:00. Rating: * 1/4
Bridges is a Comanche warrior and got the win in his debut with a double-underhook piledriver. Frank Gresham interviewed Bridges after the match and asked about his name. The newcomer relates a Native American metaphor about two wolves battling inside the heart of every man. One wolf is made of kindess, genorosity, and humility. He's the other wolf.

Sol Salamanca and Ignacio Mercer defeated Darell Sullivan and Mark Dunlap when Salamanca pinned Dunlap with the Toluca Sunrise in 0:03:16. Rating: *
Frank Gresham interviews Stroker Ace backstage. Ace admits his arm still hurts from Wally Richter crushing it a few weeks ago. However, where he comes from, men don't back down from challenges, no mater what. Stroker may not be 100%, but a wounded animal can be the most dangerous kind. He can still hit the Ace Crusher from anywhere with his one good arm.
The Southern Maulers (Texas Mauler and Missouri Mauler) defeated Vaughn Parsons and Cliff Maldano when Tex made Parsons submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:05:52. Rating: -* 1/2
Eddie Fargo pinned David Smith with an inside cradle in 0:00:33. Rating: * (Eddie Fargo won the WCWF TV Title.)
After last week's time limit draw, another long bought was expected. Instead, Smith charged in for an early powerslam attempt, only to be rolled up and pinned with a handful of tights!
Bulk Logan pinned Stroker Ace with the Blockbuster in 0:08:59. Rating: -3/4* (Bulk Logan retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.)
Logan came out for this match his usual arrogant self, title belt air guitar and all. Bulk went after Stroker's bad arm from the opening bell. Nevertheless, Stroker managed to duck the big boot and deliver an Ace Crusher, but land on his bad arm. He was slow to make the cover and Logan was able to kick out. When Logan hit his fallaway slam, Stroker again came down on his bad arm and was in too much pain to kick out.

Pre-taped sitdown interview with Mean Massimo and Jammin' Jimmy Blast, who has the US Title in his lap. Frank Gresham tries to talk about men's respective pasts, but Massimo isn't interested. He wants to talk about the future with him as US Champion on the road to finally becoming World Champion. Blast says that, unlike Massimo, he's not running from the past. Blast has worked hard to get here. The future is now. He questions whether Massimo is a relic of the 1970s who can't change with the times. That gets Massimo out of his chair and in Blast's face. Jimmy remains calm as Frank Gresham separates the two.
Rick Blood pinned Vaughn Parsons after a kneedrop in 0:04:48. Rating: *

Rick Samson and Bulk Logan come out for their arm-wrestling match. Logan rips off his shirt. Lots of flexing and posing by both men. They get settled in to arm-wrestle, with much stalling by Logan. Finally they lock up and, after a little back and forth, Samson steadily powers Logan down as a horrified look comes over the Bulkster's face. Before his hand can actually hit the table, Logan flips the whole table on Samson. With his opponent knocked down, Bulk grabs the table and smashes it into Rick's back. Officials intervene. Samson is declared the winner via DQ. Logan walks off muttering "He didn't beat me!"
The announcers point out that "Dynamite" David Smith has gone 2-1-1 against Eddie Fargo, with the loss via a rollup with a handful of tights but the wins coming via DQ and countout.

Immediately after the match, "Million Dollar" Stan Trump comes out with Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe. Trump wants to know who the fourth man is for War Games. He gets his answer when "La Grange" by ZZ Top starts to play. Out comes Bruiser Barton. Barton says he's taking the fourth slot on the team. This isn't about "you people" (pointing to Bearden, Jones, and Hale) but about "people like you" (pointing at Trump and his lawyers). Barton is from Texas, and two things he hates are lawyers and New Yawk City fat cats who think they own everything.
Wolfie Brown pinned Antwan Soto with the Roundabout in 0:03:22. Rating: * 1/4
Pre-taped announcement from Commissioner Pedro Gonzalez. Due to "Dyanmite" David Smith and Eddie Fargo going 2-2-1 against each other over the last five weeks, and the questionable circumstances of several match finishes, the two will face off at Great American Bash. The match will be 2/3 falls and the title can still change hands if any of those falls are disqualification or countout. No matter the outcome, this will be the final match between the two. The Southern Maulers were at ringside scouting The Supernauts in this non-title match. The announcers note that the champs made quicker work of Johnson and Sullivan than the Maulers did last week.
Randy Robinson pinned Jose Castro with the Ram Jam in 0:08:32. Rating: * 1/4
The Fabulous Ones ("Very Fine" Rick Vine and "The Natural" Chris Reese) defeated Sol Salamanca and Ignacio Mercer when Vine made Mercer submit to the Fine Grapevine in 0:11:19. Rating: ***
In a post-match interview, the newly dubbed Fabulous Ones promise to celebrate with a few bottles of win. How's the vintage? "Very Fine!"
David Smith and The Jolly Green Giant defeated Eddie Fargo and Wally Richter when Jolly defeated Richter by disqualification in 0:05:28. Rating: -1/2* [Isileli Kaelo interfered against The Jolly Green Giant.]
Smith and Fargo both found sizeable partners, but the match was cut short when The Tongan Terror charged the ring and attacked The Jolly Green Giant. "Million Dollar" Stan Trump was nowhere in sight as Jolly and Kaelo brawled up the aisle.

Great American Bash - PPV Preview
2/3 Falls Match for the TV Title: "Dynamite" David Smith vs. Eddie Fargo (c) A Brit trained in Canada, Smith is a powerful and tenacious young wrestler won the inaugural WCWF World Cup of Wrestling earlier this year then won the TV Title in his debut match. After his Old School team as part of David Runner's "Last Run" was cut short, Fargo is once again solo. He's an aging veteran who knows all the dirty tricks and mind games that give him an advantage. He took Smith to a time-limit draw in the first match, scored a quick rollup with a handful of tights in the rematch, and kept the title with CO and DQ losses.
Grudge Match: The Jolly Green Giant vs. "The Tongan Terror" Isileli Kaelo Kaelo attempted to interfere in a match at Wrestlemania, but was stopped by Jolly who was serving as Enforcer for the match. The Tongan tried to take out the Giant's knee with a metal briefcase, but failed. The Giant retaliated by cracking The Tongan in the head with the same briefcase, causing a concussion. Jolly has calmly and reasonably declared self-defense, but Kaelo has been enraged and out of control. Looming over all of this is "Million Dollar" Stan Trump's $10,000 bounty on Jolly.
Superclash Rematch: Randy "The Ram" Robinson vs. The Ayatollah Robinson ended Ayatollah's "Reign of Terror" at Superclash a year and a half ago. Robinson's world title reign ended at Wrestlemania, under dubious circumstances. This is the first rematch from their famous Superclash bout, with Robinson determined to reestablish himself as a top contender while winning a victory for the USA.
US Title Match : Jammin' Jimmy Blast (c) vs Mean Massimo Blast and Massimo both had big wins at Wrestlemania, with the former regaining the US Title in an epic street fight against Jake Blackheart and the latter finally defeating his former mentor (Mario Mancini). Blast is confident and trying to really cement himself as one of the top stars of WCWF. Massimo has been wrestling twice as long as Blast, but carries a big chip on his shoulder and is prone to losing his cool. Even with Mancini behind him, he still has a burning need to prove himself.
World Tag Team Titles: The Southern Maulers vs The Supernauts (c) Two tough tag teams at the top of their game. They respect each other and now we'll see which team is the best.
World Heavyweight Title: "Strongman" Rick Samson vs Bulk Logan (c) Logan has been arrogant and disrespectful since joining WCWF, and that attitude has only gotten worse since winning the title. Samson, a longtime heroic figure in WCWF, has taken umbrage to Logan's behavior. Logan is bigger than Samson, but the Bulkster's muscles and ego are both artificially inflated. Samson wants to burst that balloon and win his first World Title.
War Games: Eddie Bearden, Porkchop Jones, Brett Hale, & Bruiser Barton vs. "Million Dollar" Stan Trump & Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe Seething from the failures of Trump International at Wrestlemania, Stan Trump brought in a trio of lawyers to cause trouble, legal and otherwise, for his enemies. In particular, Trump has targeted Eddie Bearden. Part of this is Trump's claims that Bearden didn't hold up his end of an agreement pertaining to Wrestlemania, but Trump's behavior also seems racially-motivated. Bearden wasn't a man with many friends in WCWF, but Jones, Hale, and Barton have all joined his teams for various reasons. Coincidentally, Jones and Hale were both on the winning team of the first War Games at last year's Fall Brawl.

Great American Bash (PPV) July 4, 1985 American Legion Memorial Stadium, Charlotte, NC
2/3 FALLS, TV TITLE MATCH: "DYNAMITE" DAVID SMITH vs EDDIE FARGO (c)
Smith came into the match calm and focused, a sharp contrast to his last singles match against Fargo. The champ strutted and stalled, but got a little too cocky. Smith attacked and hit a series of moves culminating in his Exploder suplex.
Now with the advantage, Smith wrestled carefully and soon it was Fargo's turn to get frustrated. With his usual tricks not working, Fargo undid one of the turnbuckle pads, only to get dropkicked by Smith into the now exposed metal. That was enough for the win.
No-Time-Limit-Two-out-of-three-Falls Match where the title can change hands via DQ or countout: David Smith beat Eddie Fargo 2 falls to 0: x DDS beat Fargo via the Exploder in 0:02:56 x DDS beat Fargo via a dropkick in 0:07:10 Rating: ** 1/2 (David Smith won the WCWF TV Title.)
Frank Gresham interviews Dynamite after the match. He declares Fargo was "hoisted by his own petard."
Randy Robinson pinned The Ayatollah with the Ram Jam in 0:10:10. Rating: * 1/2
Backstage, Bad Wolf Bridges has attacked Bruiser Barton. The big Texan is on the floor, dazed with Bridges holding him by the hair, shouting about scalping, while Trump's legal team stands watch. Barton's teammates arrive and scuffle with the lawyers briefly before officials break up the fight.
GRUDGE MATCH: THE JOLLY GREEN GIANT vs "THE TONGAN TERROR" ISILELI KAELO (w/ "MILLION DOLLAR" STAN TRUMP)
Kaelo hit the ring a house of fire, not even waiting for the bell. However, his flurry of offense couldn't bring the Giant down. Momentum lost, the match turned into a rather slow and dull affair with a lot of no-selling. Jolly was finally able to get Kaelo down with a big Gorilla press, then went for a choke slam. Trump the ring and cracked Jolly over the back with a steel chair, staggering the Giant. Jolly turned to face Trump, who fled, then returned his attention to Kaelo and clotheslined the Tongan out of the ring.
The Jolly Green Giant defeated Isileli Kaelo by disqualification in 0:09:20. Rating: -* 3/4 [Stan Trump interfered against The Jolly Green Giant.]
Kaelo was ready to continue the fight, but Trump stopped him and they slinked off. Jolly stood in the ring, hands on hips, victorious but disappointed.
UNITED STATES TITLE MATCH: MEAN MASSIMO vs JAMMIN' JIMMY BLAST (c)
Good back and forth match. Massimo dominated Blast initially and hit an early Pasta Buster for two. Blast ducked a big boot and got in some offense of his own, including a slingshot suplex for two. Massimo elbowed out of a back suplex and hit a big splash that nearly got the win. However, at the last moment the ref spotted Massimo's feet on the ropes for extra leverage on the pinfall. Massimo argued with the ref, giving Blast a chance to recover. The champ dropkicked the challenge into the corner then Blast unloaded with his trademark knifehand chops. DDT and Gourdbuster finished off Massimo.
Jimmy Blast pinned Mean Massimo with the Gourdbuster in 0:07:42. Rating: *** 1/2 (Jimmy Blast retained the WCWF United States Title.)
Frank Gresham interviews "Million Dollar" Stan Trump backstage. He's accompanied by Dewey, Cheatham, and Howe plus Bad Wolf Bridges. Trump complains about people accusing him of being racist, but he can't possibly be racist because he's hired an Indian for Trump International. He's got black friends too. Bridges declared "the enemy of my enemy is my ally." He is a Comanche warrior and his people have not forgotten about how Texans treated them in the past. Bruiser Barton will suffer for the sins of his forefathers. Trump says Bridges will take his spot in War Games, which might be a handicap match now if Barton can't wrestle tonight. Commissioner Pedro Gonzalez arrives and says he's heard enough. He's already checked on Barton and the Bruiser isn't injured, just pissed off. As for Trump, the Commissioner made the match and only the Commissioner is going to change it. Since Bridges wants to be in the match, Gonzalez will allow it, but Trump stays in too! It's now 5-on-5. Trump wants to know who would join the match on such short notice. Gonzalez says he's already taken care of that too and it's someone Trump is quite familiar with. Sol Salamanca joins the scene, causing Trump (who lost to Salamanca at Wrestlemania) to throw a fit and storm off.
The Supernauts (Dreadnaut and Huguenaut) defeated The Southern Maulers (Texas Mauler and Missouri Mauler) when Dreadnaut pinned TX Mauler with the Broadside in 0:16:53. Rating: -* (The Supernauts retained the WCWF Tag Team Titles.)
Rick Samson and Bulk Logan battled to a double pin in 0:08:10. Rating: 3/4* (Bulk Logan retained the WCWF World Heavyweight Title.)
Samson hit Logan with a bridging back suplex and the referee counted three. The crowd got excited thinking the title had just changed hands, but it turned out Samson failed to get his shoulder up.
War Games No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Brett Hale, Bruiser Barton, Eddie Bearden, Porkchop Jones, and Sol Salamanca defeated Trump International (Benjamin Cheatham, George Dewey, William Howe, Stan Trump, and Bad Wolf Bridges) when Bearden made Cheatham submit to a choke lift in 0:34:08. Rating: ** 1/2
Card rating: * 1/4

WCWF Saturday Night - July 6, 1985 (#52)
The announcers discuss Great American Bash. The participants of the hard-fought War Games match are at home recovering.
The first match tonight was the debut of a muscular wrestler dressed in black, with a wild look in his eyes.
Bonesaw McGraw defeated Bobby Jackson by countout in 0:04:31. Rating: * 1/2
When Bonesaw threw Jackson over the top, the newcomer followed his opponent to the floor. After sending Bobby head-first into the ringpost, McGraw pulled up the ringside mats and delivered a piledriver on the floor. Bonesaw got back in the ring and taunted the crowd while Jackson was counted out. After the match, McGraw immediately left the ring without waiting for the referee to raise his hand, grabbed a steel chair, and delivered a vicious shot to Bobby Jackson's back.
Frank Gresham intercepted Bonesaw McGraw and asked him why he tried to injure Bobby Jackson during and after the match. McGraw replied he doesn't care about Jackson; he cares about making a statement. "WCWF isn't prepared for the madness. They better get ready. Bonesaw is ready!"
The A-Team (B.A. Brakkas and John Murdoch) defeated Ollie Johnson and Mark Dunlap when Murdoch pinned Dunlap after a spinebuster slam in 0:05:12. Rating: -* 1/2
Pre-taped interview with Bulk Logan. He talks about his "victory" at Great American Bash where he "decisively" proved he's the strongest wrestler in WCWF. Frank Gresham questioned Logan's claims, but the Bulkster pointed out he's still got the World Heavyweight Title. Logan strutted off playing guitar with the belt, as usual.
The Mighty Tor pinned Cliff Maldano with the Tor Smash in 0:02:07. Rating: -1/2*
Pre-taped interview with The Jolly Green Giant. He talks about The Tongan Terror being blinded by rage. He got in the ring with the Giant and that rage burned itself out, accomplishing nothing. He thinks that's a lesson even children can learn from. As for "Million Dolar" Stan Trump, Jolly wants him to put his money where his mouth is and stop hiding behind henchmen.
Jose Castro pinned Andrew Davis after a lariat in 0:06:25. Rating: * 3/4
The Orient Express (Louis Dupre and Mehmet Suleiman) defeated Vaughn Parsons and Kevin Conway when Dupre pinned Parsons with the Seine Splash in 0:02:55. Rating: DUD
Frank Gresham interviewed Hanoi Xan and The Orient Express after the match. A challenge is made against The Supernauts for the World Tag Titles at Fall Brawl.

WCWF Saturday Night - July 13, 1985 (#53)
The announcers make a big deal about this being the show's first anniversary.
Hanoi Xan pinned Vaughn Parsons with the Oscillation Overthruster in 0:04:04. Rating: -*
This was Xan's in-ring debut. He mostly used a combination of martial arts and heel tactics before putting away his opponent with a kind of odd legdrop neckbreaker. That move looks ahead of its time.
Stroker Ace pinned Darell Sullivan with the Ace Crusher in 0:04:04. Rating: -3/4*
Frank Gresham interviewed Stroker after the match who confirmed his arm is pretty much healed from the injury caused by Wally Richter and exacerbated by Bulk Logan.
Big Love (Big Hoss McGraw and Rudolph Love) defeated Aidan Taylor and Andrew Davis when Rudolph pinned Taylor with the Love Tap in 0:01:50. Rating: DUD
McGraw quickly laid waste to Taylor and Davis then tagged in Love who delivered a heart punch for the win. Frank Gresham interviewed the new duo after the match and asked about the impetus for their team. McGraw started a long-winded explanation, but Love cut in and explained he's the one person in WCWF who actually likes listening to Big Hoss' big stories. McGraw says he will impart his decades of in-ring wisdom upon his young tag partner. Gresham wants to know if he's related to Bonesaw McGraw, who debuted last week. Big Hoss says he thinks they are fifth cousins, twice removed. Or maybe fourth cousins, thrice removed. He starts trying to explain the genealogy, but Gresham gives the cut signal to the announcers.
Rick Blood made Kevin Conway submit to the Blood Simple in 0:03:26. Rating: **
After the match, Blood called out the United States Champion for a match at Fall Brawl.
The Detroit Connection (Joe Dean and Steve Hecker) defeated Ollie Johnson and Mark Dunlap when Hecker pinned Ollie with the Body Wrecker in 0:03:17. Rating: DUD

The Ram was slow to leave the ring, and was holding his back.
David Smith and Cpl. Punishment battled to a draw in 0:10:00. Rating: * 1/2 (Cpl. Punishment retained the WCWF TV Title.)
Here we go again!
