I found a Tripod page for this circuit in the Wayback Machine, but the only thing that works is the main page. So what I can salvage from the list archives is all there is.
Looking for the next USWA card and found this email: Well fellas, some of you may have noticed that I haven't been online for a few weeks. Well, the reason for this is that I left my computer on a week ago, and western Oklahoma (where I live) was nailed with one of many thunderstorms coming our way. The electricity went out, my comp crashed, and with it the *sniff* the USWA. But, don't worry. As we speak, I'm working on the new USWA, which will have some old faces, new faces, and real faces.
Good news is he actually picks up where the circuit left off rather than starting over from scratch. However, I think his new computer's calendar was broken. The next cards he posted were USWA Tuesday Night LIVE for 10/7/98 and 10/14/98. Those are Wednesdays. Also, as you can see, there were already cards for 10/6/98 and 10/13/98.

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 10/??/98 (twilight zone card 1 of 2)
After a short period off, the USWA restarted tonight, and what a night it was! With the huge Night of Champions PPV coming up in six weeks, we saw the first USWA TV Champ crowned, and two of the Tournament of Champions qualifying matches.
13-Man Battle Royal for the vacant USWA Television Title
Thirteen men, all battling to become the first ever Television champ put in one ring. A match that promised to be hell, started out weakly, as Jerry Kent was eliminated after being blindsided by a Flying Scotsman enzuigiri.
x Scotsman threw out Kent in 0:00:07 With Kent gone, the match began to be dominated by Kodiak Marmasite, who was knocking everyone down. He was inches from putting Devon Storm out after the Finisher, when Lantern dropkicked him to the floor, eliminating him!
x Lantern threw out Kodiak Marmasite in 0:01:37 By saving Storm, Lantern became a target for Marmasite. Kodiak refused to leave the ring, and had to be escorted out. Meanwhile, Devon had begun his own comeback, and tossed the Mr. Hip Hop, Soul Train Jones out after a tilt-a-whirl powerslam.
x D. Storm threw out Jones in 0:06:08
With the match now being mainly lightweights, Boris Molotov and Alexander The Grater began to take control. The two paired up, laying out every man on the mat, except the elusive Perfect Creation. Creation surprised Grater, nailing him with a spinwheel kick, then literally chopping Molotov over the ropes.
x Perfect Creation threw out Molotov after a chop in 0:10:41 Grater didn't take kindly to the kick from Creation, and leveled him with a clothesline. Grater bounced off the ropes and prepared for another shot, when The Flying Scotsman stepped in his way, and backdropped Grater to the floor.
x Scotsman threw out Grater in 0:11:27 And the lightening fast eliminations didn't stop there. Only 34 seconds later, Devon Storm struck again, this time catching a leaping D-Lo Brown, and dropping him down with a bodyslam. A quick hiptoss put him outside.
x Devon Storm threw out D-Lo after a bodyslam in 0:12:01 There was only one man left in the match that was not a lightweight, and he was singled out to be the next man eliminated. But, surprisingly, Lantern caught Teknos from behind, dropped him with a DDT. He nailed Teknos with a tiger driver, then threw him out as well.
x Lantern threw out Teknos after a tiger driver in 0:15:03 Revolution-X still remained in the match, and both Reckless Youth and Perfect Creation were gunning for the Flying Scotsman. Creation missed a chance after knocking Scotsman off the turnbuckle, but failing to throw the stunned Scots out. His partner, Reckless Youth, took advantage and came flying off the turnbuckle with a moonsault bodyblock; enough to put the big man out.
x Reckless Youth threw out Scotsman after a moonsault bodyblock in 0:26:27 After being forcefully removed from ringside, Kodiak Marmasite ran back down. But instead of going for Lantern, he helped him! His chairshot on Devon Storm knocked the indy sensation to the mat, and allowed Lantern to mount the top turnbuckle, landing with a flying headbutt.
x Lantern threw out Devon Storm after a diving headbutt in 0:35:33 The only wrestler not to be heard from for the night was the Flying Bomb Angel. He was keeping quiet, and dodging battles, until he failed to connect on a superkick to Perfect Creation. Creation quickly floored FBA with a legsweep faceslam, then dropped him with a screwdriver.
x Perfect Creation threw out FBA after a screwdriver in 0:36:08 The final three men: Revolution-X and Lantern. The 2 on 1 odds played into the hands of R-X, but a mistake by Reckless Youth evened up the odds, as he was tossed out of the ring by Lantern after foolishly charging him.
x Lantern threw out Reckless Youth in 0:37:39 His partner wasn't far behind, as Creation too failed to blindside Lantern, and hardcore luchador rained down on Creation with an Asai Tornado Dive, followed up by a tiger driver.
x Lantern threw out Perfect Creation after a tiger driver in 0:38:02 Rating: **** 1/4 (Lantern won the USWA Television Title.)
The man who made the very first elimination, ends up making the last. But his victory was bittersweet, as Kodiak once again changed moods, this time smacking Lantern down with the same chair used on Devon Storm. Marmasite locked in a Ziplock, and would have to be pried off by security before relinquishing the hold.
Boris Molotov w/ Gen. Ivan Morowski vs. Soul Train Jones Mr. Hip Hop didn't do much of it here. Molotov's unbelievable power kept Jones on his back for most of the match. Morowski's constant questioning of the ref, also allowed Molotov to plant Jones with a shot from the old USSR flag. Molotov covered for the shot with a standing powerslam and the win.
Boris Molotov pinned Soul Train Jones after a powerslam in 0:08:00. Rating: 3/4*
Revolution-X vs. Highland Hell After being upset in the TV title match, R-X was looking for revenge, no matter how big the Highlanders were. Big and slow, Highland Hell couldn't keep pace with Reckless Youth's high-flying antics, and fell victim to several near falls in the opening minutes. But Hamish turned the juice on, catching a flying cross body, and reversing it into a vicious running powerslam. Hamish and Angus took turns pelting Youth in the corner, while Creation tried desperately to get in. Finally, he slipped in, and hit Hamish from behind with a bulldog, then laid out Angus with a DDT. The match continued, Reckless Youth was extremely tired, and Angus had his arm cocked for a vicious clothesline, when Reckless wrapped himself around Angus' arm, and fell backward for a crucifix.
Revolution-X (Reckless Youth and The Perfect Creation) defeated Highland Hell (Angus Wallace and Hamish MacTavish) when Youth pinned Wallace after a crucifix in 0:15:58. Rating: 1/2*
Hamish came charging in, and hammered the oncoming Creation with a diving clothesline. Reckless got the hell out of dodge, leaving his partner behind. R-X proved they were extremely talented, but if their going to survive, especially with Highland Hell, they better toughen up.
Ricky Romero vs. Kodiak Marmasite Two of the top contenders at the end of the USWA's first run locked up tonight. Romero's size definitely played a role in the match, as he clipped Kodiak's wings early by turning a moonsault bodyblock, into a Tombstone. But, Romero employed some help to keep Marmasite down... or so it seemed. Marmasite began to battle back, dropping Romero with a Vader attack, then meeting with a standing moonsault. Suddenly, from out of the crowd, Lantern appeared, TV title in hand. He stormed the ring and belted Marmasite while the ref was being distracted by Romero. Lantern left, and Romero went up top, hitting the Texas Sunset, and the win.
Ricky Romero pinned Kodiak Marmasite with the Texas Sunset in 0:12:25. Rating: **
But after the match, Brett Brown showed up! He looked to shake hands with Romero, but then belted him across the face with a wicked right. He began putting the boots to Romero, then turned and helped up Marmasite. Kodiak was grateful, but as he extended his hand to Brown, it was slapped away, and Brett Blaster Gold was next. Brown left to of his better comrades lying on their backs in the ring, and walked out laughing.
TOC Qualifying Match: Spreak w/Ghost vs. Alexander "The Grater" In the mother of all mismatches, Grater looked a little awkward at the beginning, missing a clothesline, then getting plastered by a spinning mule kick. He fell victim to another Spreak attack, when he a choke slam went wrong, and Spreak kicked free, then hit a sitdown faceslam. Grater was pissed, and went on a rampage, blocking The Streak, then hitting a Tenderizer elbow. He followed it up with an overhead spinning power bomb, and was well on the way to victory, when Ghost threw a chair into the works, knocking Grater out cold. Spreak, attempting to embarrass the big Kentuckian, locked on a stomach claw. Grater couldn't respond from the chairshot, and the match was stopped..
[TOC Qualifying Match] Spreak made Alexander "The Grater" submit to a stomach claw in 0:11:01. Rating: **** 1/4
Grater remained unconscious until a USWA medical team revived him with smelling salts, and it was a mistake. After realizing what happened, Grater went crazy, taking out the entire medical team, and the ref before storming to the back, looking for the Forces.
TOC Qualifying Match: Donovan Glory vs. D-Lo Brown The new and improved D-Lo was all offense tonight, as he kept Glory on his back for the most part. D-Lo hit his version of the Lyger Bomb, which he has coined the D-Bomb. Glory failed to get a submission with a 3/4 nelson, and D-Lo hit a Sky High, followed by the Low Down.
[TOC Qualifying Match] D-Lo Brown pinned Donovan Glory with the Low Down in 0:12:21. Rating: ** ¾
A great first card, and after the dust settled, two major upsets in TOC qualifying, and now D-Lo and Spreak WILL be in the tournament. Plus, next week, Lantern defends his newly won TV title against Devon Storm, and Soul Train Jones will team up with a mystery partner to take on Los Dragones. It's next week, on Tuesday Night LIVE!

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 10/??/98 (twilight zone card 2 of 2)
After a few surprises last week, the USWA geared up again, bringing a few HUGE matches to forefront. The Lightweight Title is up for grabs, two more TOC Qualifying Matches, and Soul Train Jones and his mystery partner, lock up with Los Dragones.
The Flying Scotsman vs. Flying Bomb Angel The Scotsman may have bit off a little more than he bargained for in this match, a FBA hauled a garbage can full of goodies to the ring with him. Scots was reluctant to get near Angel, and FBA dropped him with a football tackle. FBA kept Scots on his back, then went outside and grabbed a fire extinguisher. He belted Scotsman once, twice, three, then a fourth time before dropping it. Scotsman was a bloody mess, and unimaginable gumption kept him conscious for the next few minutes. FBA, sensing victory, went for the kill with the Sweet Deceit. But Scotsman made it to the ropes, then began to battle back. Scotsman rallied off a combo of punch-kick combos, before powerslamming FBA outside. Scotsman got FBA's own garbage can and grabbed a road sign! Two vicious shots to the head nearly put FBA out, and the Scottish Breaker did.
The Flying Scotsman made Flying Bomb Angel submit to the the Scottish Breaker in 0:11:18. Rating: **** 1/4
Scotsman nearly passed out after the bell, and his Highland buddies showed up to try and help him out of the ring. But, Revolution-X, who beat Highland last week, ran out and attacked Scotsman! A fight between Highland Hell and R-X broke out and spilled into the ring, giving us a bonus match.
Highland Hell vs. Revolution-X Last week, R-X made a mockery of the Highlanders, and this week they were looking for a repeat performance: they didn't get it. Fired up because of the attack on their comrade, literally beat the hell out of Creation and Reckless. Although the match lasted longer than thought, Hamish finished off the embarrassment with a Scottish Slam on Perfect Creation for the win.
Highland Hell (Angus Wallace and Hamish MacTavish) defeated Revolution-X (The Perfect Creation and Reckless Youth) when Hamish pinned Creation with the Scottish Slam in 0:09:25. Rating: * 1/2
"The Rebel" Jerry Kent vs. Teknos The Rebel was hot tonight, tearing through the smaller Teknos with ease. A Frankensteiner, followed by a legdrop was delivered multiple times early on, as Kent began to try to clip Teknos's wings. Teknos wasn't completely dead yet though, and after Kent missed a superkick, it was Teknos hitting a Russian legsweep, but missed a Teknospinner. Kent took advantage and hit the Reb-driver for the three count.
Jerry Kent pinned Teknos with the Reb-driver in 0:14:21. Rating: *** 1/4
After the match, Lantern raced down and attacked Teknos! The two began brawling with one another until broken apart by security. Devon Storm raced down to blindside Lantern, but it was too late, and Storm was force to wrestle the luchador.
USWA Television Title Match: Lantern (c) vs. Devon Storm w/Dawn Marie As expected, this match was more of an aerial show than a brawl. Storm struck first with a flying clothesline, then locked in a bow-and-arrow submission. Lantern fought free after about half a minute, but was dropped again with an enzuigiri to the face. Devon went to the second turnbuckle, but missed the elbowdrop, and Lantern retaliated with a savate kick. He went for the pin, but Storm was up in 1. Devon tried to get a low blow in, but Lantern flipped himself over Devon, then locked up in a sunset backslide for a 2 count. Dawn Marie tried to get a chair into Devon, but Lantern intercepted it, and whacked Storm with it. He hit a bridging back suplex on Storm, but in the process put his own shoulders on the mat. But, at the two count, Lantern lifted one shoulder to keep a tighter grip on Storm, it ended up saving the match.
Lantern pinned Devon Storm after a bridging back suplex in 0:13:47. Rating: * 3/4 (Lantern retained the USWA Television Title.)
After the match, it was announced that the next match would be a four corners Triple Threat match for the vacant USWA Lightweight Title. The combatants were announced as Flying Bomb Angel, Soul Train Jones, Teknos, and Lantern! Upon hearing this, former champ, Kodiak Marmasite stormed out, demanding to know why he wasn't in the match. He was promised a title shot next week at LIVE!, but wasn't satisfied. As Flying Bomb Angel made his way to the ring, Marmasite leaped over the top rope and hit Angel with a plancha! He left Angel laying in the aisle, then made his way to the back.
USWA Lightweight Title Match: Teknos vs. Lantern vs. Flying Bomb Angel vs. Soul Train Jones Teknos and Lantern looked to begin their unexplained brawl once again, but Flying Bomb Angel got in the way, and Teknos took him to the mat. Teknos rained down on the winded FBA with a flying headscissors, then locked in a Ziplock. Soul Train Jones broke the hold to preserve the match, but was escorted back outside by the referee. Teknos put FBA on the top rope, and came off with a Frankensteiner. He went for the cover and got the pin! Teknos defeated Lantern, Flying Bomb Angel, and Soul Train Jones when Teknos pinned FBA after a Frankensteiner from the top rope in 0:03:37. Rating: ** (Teknos won the USWA Lightweight Title.) Jones and Lantern hit the ring, but Teknos grabbed his belt and ran. Lantern continued to give chase, but Jones stayed in the ring, awaiting the arrival of Los Dragones. When the two arrived, Jones got on the mic.
"You know, being the king of hip hop, it's hard to find a brother cool enough to tag with me. But to take on these two Taco Bell baggers, I could think of nobody else 'cept by good buddy, D-Lo Brown!"
D-Lo Brown made his way down to the ring, and he and Jones exchanged a hug at ringside. It was a mistake, as Los Dragones leaped over the ropes, hitting each of them with a plancha.
Los Dragones vs. Soul Train Jones and D-Lo Brown Off to a quick start, Fire tried to keep the momentum going, taking Jones down with a single-leg takedown, then letting his partner hit a flying elbowdrop. Ice began to slow the match down, locking in a top wristlock, then reversing it into an armbar submission. D-Lo tried to get in, but was met by an Ice Dragon superkick, sending him rolling out of the ring. The upset D-Lo, who grabbed a the ring bell and hammered Fire in the back of the head, taking out Ice's partner. Meanwhile, Jones had fought free of Ice's submission holds, and hit a dragon suplex, when he went up top. Ice was back on his feet and waiting, but D-Lo timed Soul Train's leap, as he came off, he speared Ice's legs from behind. Jones' cross body press got the pin, and in large part to D-Lo Brown.
Soul Train Jones and D-Lo Brown defeated Los Dragones (Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon) when Soul Train pinned Ice Dragon after a flying cross body press in 0:16:24. Rating: **
The two looked cohesive as a tag unit, but with Soul Train's ego getting in the way, D-Lo may make this a one time thing.
TOC Qualifying Match: Ricky Romero vs. Devon Storm Romero has looked hot as of late, beating Kodiak Marmasite last week, only to get blindsided by Brett Brown. He was effective early on tonight against Storm, who was still tired from the Lantern match. Romero hit a backspin DDT, then tangled Storm up in a figure four. Storm reached the ropes, but Romero was right back on him, dragging him out to the middle of the ring and locking it on again. Storm barely got free this time, but tripped Romero while getting up, giving him some time to rest. When Romero sprang up, Storm hit a roundhouse right, but it had no effect. Once again, Dawn Marie made the mistake of sliding a chair in though, and Romero used to his advantage, piledriving Storm onto the chair. Storm had nothing left to kick out, and Romero is officially in the tournament. [TOC Qualifying Match] Ricky Romero pinned Devon Storm after a piledriver in 0:16:39. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match, Brett Brown was seen in the crowd by Romero. Romero went after Brown, only to be mugged by a fan! Apparently this wasn't and ordinary fan though, as he hit a superkick on Romero. The man removed the hood of his sweatshirt to reveal… Kodiak Marmasite! Have he and Brown made up? Or does he want first crack at the Natural?
TOC Qualifying Match: Jack Slade w/Jessica Haggar vs. Boris Molotov w/ Gen. Ivan Morowski Slade looked to have a hard time tonight, having to fight to big Russian and his radical manager. But Molotov's fury backfired on him, and he left himself wide open for a legsweep faceslam. Molotov kicked out of a pin, and busted Slade's chin open with a roundhouse punch. He had on knucks! He began pummeling Slade with that right hand, and Slade was fading fast when the ref checked Molotov's hand. As the Molotov pushed the ref away though, Slade sprung up, and nailed the Spike DDT for the win!
[TOC Qualifying Match] Jack Slade pinned Boris Molotov with the Spiked DDT in 0:05:01. Rating: ***
Since the contestants in the Tournament of Champions will draw for positions, its unlikely that we'll see that Romero vs. Slade matchup, but next week, Jack Slade takes on Spreak and Ricky Romero will face Lantern for the TV Title. Also, Kodiak Marmasite takes on Teknos for the Lightweight Title and Brett Brown makes his USWA debut! Don't you dare miss it!

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 10/20/98
A debut night for some new USWA talent, plus two title matches. The night started off with some Master P, as Soul Train Jones walked out. Full of himself as usual, he made an open challenge to any wrestler in the building. Out from the back came one of the newest members of the USWA, Neflite.
Soul Train Jones vs. Neflite Neflite made a quick impression, pulling Jones down with a Japanese armdrag, then hitting him with a flying clothesline. He slid out of the ring grabbed a chair and set it up in the corner. He lifted Jones up, and Doctor Bombed him on the chair! Neflite kept the offense up for a few more minutes before a springboard rana missed its mark, and Jones hit a power bomb. He followed it up with a swinging neckbreaker, but decided to strut around the ring instead of pin. It cost him, as Neflite pulled himself up and hit a thrust kick, knocking Jones into the ropes. As he came back off, Neflite hit the Moon-Breaker for the upset win!
Neflite pinned Soul Train Jones with the Moon-Breaker in 0:07:28. Rating: -* 1/4
Soul Train was upset, but Neflite stood in the corner, staring Jones ack to the dressing room before leaving.
The Forces vs. Highland Hell After finally beating R-X last week, the Highlanders look to move up the ladder, while the Forces planned on knocking him back down. Spreak was singled out by Angus and Hamish, and suffered the brunt of the early punishment, including a front-layout superplex onto a table! Ghost ran in, but his superkick went wide, and Angus spun him around, then buried him with a Soviet suplex. But, Hamish was being a bit too cocky, and Spreak ran him into the ring steps outside, busting him open. Spreak rolled Hamish back in, then nailed him with a frog splash. Angus broke the pin at 2, but Ghost came in with a flying clothesline, taking both of them out of the ring. Angus picked up the ring bell, and hammered Ghost with it, then slid in as Spreak prepared for the Streak. As sickening thud was heard, and the referee called for the bell. And Angus gave it to him, right in the face! A disgruntled Wallace walked out, with Hamish following him, harassing some fans.
The Forces (Ghost and Spreak) defeated Highland Hell (Angus Wallace and Hamish MacTavish) when Spreak defeated Wallace by disqualification in 0:12:03. Rating: * 1/2
Another crushing loss by Highland Hell, and now, with more and more tag teams signing on, their losing their position. If they really want in that title match at "Night of the Champ", they better get their heads on straight.
"The Rebel" Jerry Kent vs. D-Lo Brown The biggest surprise of the night right here. D-Lo was unstoppable early on, not missing one move, and reversing a power bomb into a spinning headscissors. But, D-Lo couldn't get Kent to stay down, not even after a spinning power bomb onto a chair! Frustrated, D-Lo began to take more and more risks and one of them, a standing moonsault, backfired, and Kent met D-Lo with a kick to the stomach. Kent himself went to the top rope, but D-Lo caught him, and press slammed him back to the mat. D-Lo scaled the top rope one more time, this hitting Kent with the Low Down... but Kent kicked out in 2!!! Jerry Kent kicked out of the Low Down! D-Lo was beside himself, and missed a vicious clothesline and went flying into the turnbuckle. Kent raced in and hit a Frankensteiner on D-Lo, then followed it up with a Reb Driver, which D-Lo couldn't kick out of it.
Jerry Kent pinned D-Lo Brown with the Reb Driver in 0:09:01. Rating: ***
Kent, the grizzled veteran, stole the match be kicking out of the 300+ pounder's Low Down. Amazing!
Jack Slade w/ Jessica Haggar vs. Spreak w/ Ghost Slade was not taking this match lightly, as Spreak entered the ring with a chair. But when the bell rang, Slade dropkicked the chair into Spreak's face, then laid it on the mat. He grabbed Spreak and gave him a Concussion bomb onto the chair, then locked in the Cruncher Crab! Spreak barely reached the ropes, but Slade refused to break the hold until the referee's four count. With Spreak pretty much out of the match before it started, Slade ran off a spinebuster bomb, a Stunner, and finally the Spiked DDT for the win.
Jack Slade pinned Spreak with the Spiked DDT in 0:04:26. Rating: *** 1/4 USWA Television Title Match: Lantern (c) vs. Ricky Romero Unwillingly, Lantern took the ring against Romero, knowing that both Teknos and Flying Bomb Angel could be on the lookout. Romero decided to go for the end quickly, hitting an enzuilareto to open things up, then put Lantern on the top rope. He mounted the second rope, and nearly snapped Lantern's body in half with a top-rope power bomb. Lantern pulled himself up, and tried to hit a jumping DDT, but was floored with a Northern Lights suplex. Lantern gave his final burst of energy to hit a springboard rana, but Romero was still in total control, hitting another vicious power bomb. He picked Lantern up and dropped him with a backspin DDT then the Texas Sunset.
Ricky Romero pinned Lantern with the Texas Sunset in 0:08:34. Rating: ** 1/4 (Ricky Romero won the USWA Television Title.)
A NEW USWA TELEVISION CHAMP! Romero now has the TV title, plus a spot in the TOC for the World Title. But before he could relish his victory, Brett Brown came in from the crowd. He snuck behind Romero and dropped him with a low blow, then proceeded to kick Romero all over the floor until Brown's opponent for the night, The California Kid showed up. Brown forgot about Romero and began to pummel the Kid as the bell rang.
USWA Debut Match: Brett Brown vs. The California Kid The Kid tried to fight Brown off, but Brett was unstoppable, beating the life out of the Kid from corner to corner. The Kid got in a quick cheap shot though, and began to fire himself up, laying Brown out with a sidewalk slam, then locked in a half Boston. But Brown was too close to the ropes, and was able to break the hold. Brown was pissed, and as Kid gave a 'surf's up' sign to a crowd member, he speared Kid's legs out from under him. He picked up Kid, and dropped him with the Brett Blaster Gold.
Brett Brown pinned The California Kid with the Brett Blaster Gold in 0:12:41. Rating: **** 1/4
A very impressive showing for both men, even with Kid's loss, he managed to keep Brown on his back awhile, maybe even getting the win with that half Boston. But Brown was in for a surprise too, as from under the ring, Kodiak Marmasite showed up! He slid in and leveled Brown with the Finisher, but was stopped short of pummeling his former friend by a fan who had leaped the guardrail. But the fan removed his hood to reveal...Teknos! While Teknos and Marmasite got into their match, Brown disappeared to the back.
USWA Lightweight Title Match: Teknos (c) vs. Kodiak Marmasite
By the time the match *officially* started, Teknos had begun hammering Marmasite with a flurry of kicks. Marmasite was clutching his ribs as he pulled himself up, and Teknos dropped him again with a swinging neckbreaker. Looking to put pressure on the ribs, Teknos locked in a surfboard, but had to break the pin in fear of pinning himself. Marmasite took one last shot, trying to flatten Teknos with a Frankensteiner, but was dealt with by a power bomb. Teknos mounted the top rope and came off with a the Teknospinner to hold onto his title.
Teknos pinned Kodiak Marmasite with the Teknospinner in 0:05:37. Rating: *** 3/4 (Teknos retained the USWA Lightweight Title.)
But, the night wasn't over for Kodiak, he was announced as one of the wrestlers in the TOC Qualifying Match next, and his opponent was former USWA World champ, Ghost!
TOC Qualifying Match: Kodiak Marmasite vs. Ghost w/Spreak Even though he was nearly decapitated by the Teknospinner, Marmasite actually was in early control, rolling through an inside cradle, nearly getting pin. Ghost tried to overpower the fleeter Marmasite, but Kodiak was able to dodge a frog splash attempt, then lock in his feared Ziplock. Ghost kicked and fought his way to the ropes, where Spreak grabbed his hand and helped pull him to the ropes. Marmasite was pissed, and began yelling at Spreak. This gave Ghost time to regroup, and when Marmasite turned back around, he was hammered with an overhead back suplex. Ghost picked Marmasite up, looking for the Final Breath, but an amazing backdrop by Marmasite dropped Ghsot on his neck. Ghost struggled to his feet, trying to shake the cobwebs. Marmasite did the job for him, via the Finisher. [TOC Qualifying Match] Kodiak Marmasite pinned Ghost with the Finisher in 0:13:30. Rating: **** 1/4
Marmasite, who had just been wasted by Teknos, beat the formerm USWA World Champ! Plus, the tournament is starting to take shape now, with Ricky Romero, Jack Slade, Spreak, Kodiak Marmasite, and D-Lo Brown are all in. Which means that there are only 6 matches left. Plus, this Saturday on a special edition of Saturday Night SuperShow, a huge 6 man tag match between Soul Train Jones, D-Lo Brown, and Flying Bomb Angel taking on The California Kid, Lantern, and… Teknos! Plus the next TOC Qualifying Match, Jerry Kent vs. The Flying Scotsman!

Neflite, Lantern, Teknos, and California Kid are from SMWA.
Brett Brown was a top guy in Mr. Intensity's SCW and I think is original to that circuit.
I think Flying Bomb Angel might be unique to this circuit.
Reckless Youth and The Perfect Creation were somewhat notable real indy wrestlers in the 1990s. If you were to do a survey of what American indy wrestlers were in the most TNM7 circuits during the first five years after the program's release I would bet it would be those two.

USWA Saturday Night SuperShow 10/25/98
On our first SuperShow since coming back, a few new recruits join the growing fold. Plus, Flying Bomb Angel AND California Kid have promised a surprise for us. Plus, TOC Qualifying Match: Jerry Kent vs. The Flying Scotsman!
Neflite vs. The Golden Cycloner One of the new men to the USWA, the Cycloner looked to get off on the right foot against Neflite, and it looked like he had, hitting a vicious springboard twisting moonsault / moon-to-somersault senton combo that wiped Neflite out. But, the Cycloner wanted to inflict even MORE damage on Neflite, bringing in a table, and setting it up against the corner. He tried to run Neflite into it, but Neflite reversed it at the last moment, and Cycloner was sent crashing through the table. As he stumbled backwards, Neflite hit a Moon-Breaker from nowhere and got yet another win!
Neflite pinned The Golden Cycloner with the Moon-Breaker in 0:09:52. Rating: **
After the match though, Soul Train Jones ran down, carrying a large stereo. He took a swing at Neflite with it, but he ducked, and Golden Cycloner was the victim! When Jones turned back around, he got a Moon-Breaker for his trouble, and Neflite left the ring, with paramedics tending to a gash over Cycloner's right eye.
The Equalizers (Hennerson and Xero) w/ Alana vs. Revolution-X (Reckless Youth and Perfect Creation) A HUGE pickup to the tag team division, the Equalizers made their debut tonight, against the brash bad boys, R-X. Xero took no time trying to put Reckless Youth on his back early, hammering him with a diving clothesline. Hennerson got in, and the two sent Youth into the ropes, but he came off leaping onto the both of them. But, he didn't have enough force to bring them down, and ended up on his back via a double spinebuster. Perfect Creation immediately ran in, and dropkicked Xero to the outside, but was blindsided by Adulf. The Iclandic tossed Creation to the outside, then came off the ropes, springboarded, and nailed the Air Iceland! He rolled Creation in, but neither man was legal, and the ref refused to count. Reckless Youth took advantage, hitting a low blow on Hennerson, but Alana, the Equilizers' manager, broke up his pin. As Youth was jawing with Alana, Xero was back up on the apron, and when Youth turned around, Xero springboarded, hitting El Aires Driver for the win!
The Equalizers defeated Revolution-X when Xero pinned Youth with El Aires Driver in 0:12:01. Rating: ***
After the bell, Alana ran into the ring, and DDT'd Creation! The Equilizers and their manager left, leaving R-X wasted. There could be a bright future ahead for these three here in the USWA.
Next, Brett Brown showed up at ringside. He took a seat at the announcer's desk, and stated that next week, he would be in the TOC Qualifying Match withSoul Train Jones, but was cutoff by someone on the UltraVision. It was Marmasite.
"Hey Brett, you've been duckin' and dodgin' me since you showed up here, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let you get away this time. I'll be there for your little match, you just better be watchin'." But, before Kodiak's picture went off, Brett got his own mic. "You think I'm runnin' from you? Kodiak, I could bury your ass at the drop of a hat. Why don't you quit hiding behind that curtain, and we'll do it TONIGHT!" A grin spread over Kodiak's face, "If you insist Brett, it's gonna be your retirement match!"
So tonight, Kodiak Marmasite takes on Brett Brown! What a way to start of SuperShow!
USWA Lightweight Title Match: Teknos (c) vs. Ice Dragon w/ Fire Dragon One half of Los Dragones got the chance to win some gold tonight, but Teknos didn't falter. Ice missed with a Mafia kick, and a single-leg takedown allowed Teknos to lock in a headscissors submission. Ice kicked himself free, but couldn't get the ball rolling, missing a rolling clothesline, and a Dandina Cradle. Teknos took over shortly after the blotched cradle, hitting a succession of snap suplexes, followed by a flying cross body press for a two count. Teknos put Ice on the top rope, and came off with a vicious Frankensteiner for the win.
Teknos pinned Ice Dragon after a Frankensteiner in 0:08:49. Rating: * 3/4 (Teknos retained the USWA Lightweight Title.)
After the match, Fire Dragon hopped in and blinded Teknos with some sort of orange mist. As Teknos lay on the floor clutching his face, Fire locked in a chickenwing submission, and refused to let go. Officials had to literally pry Fire off, as Teknos was immediately checked out to the emergency room for his eyes. Whether he will take place in the main event or not is unknown to this point.
TOC Qualifying Match: "The Rebel" Jerry Kent vs. The Flying Scotsman With Highland Hell backing him up, Scotsman looked to be the easy winner. He was able to keep Kent in his place for the first few minutes, neutralizing him with several wear-down holds. He went for the kill early, trying to hit a legsweep faceslam. But Kent held on, and reversed it into a faceslam of his own! He grapevined Scots' leg, but it wasn't enough to hold him for the pin. Kent began to take control, dropping Scots with a snap suplex, and then wearing him down with a reverse chinlock. Sensing danger, Highland Hell began to break the hold, pulling at Kent's foot, and distracting the referee. Suddenly, the Forces ran out and blindsided Highland Hell! Meanwhile, Scotsman had freed himself, and but was distracted by the commotion outside the ring. As he tried to leave the ring, Kent spun him around and hit the Reb-driver for the win!
[TOC Qualifying Match] Jerry Kent pinned The Flying Scotsman with the Reb Driver in 0:13:32. Rating: **** 1/4
With Scotsman out, Kent springboarded over the ropes, and hit a cross body on Hamish. He and the Forces continued to pound the Scots until calling it a night after a triple DDT on the two of them. But, the question is, did Kent know about the Forces attack, and more importantly, are he and the Forces working together?
Next up was the much-anticipated six-man tag match. Teknos limped out to the ring to join his teammates for what was more of a setup than a match.
Six-Man Tag Match: Lantern, Teknos, and The California Kid vs. Soul Train Jones, D-Lo Brown, and Flying Bomb Angel The Kid and Jones started the match off, exchanging punches with one another. Kid ducked a right hand by Jones, and threw him into his team's corner and tagged out to Teknos. Teknos jumped in and began kicking away at Jones. He stuck his hand out to tag to Lantern, but was met with a slap! Lantern grabbed Teknos and drug him outside the ring and the two began brawling with one another. This let Jones and D-Lo to double up on the Kid. But from the back ran another wrestler, cloaked in gold. He slid into the ring and beat D-Lo and Jones off of California Kid! The four men went to the outside brawling, when ANOTHER wrestler ran out from the back, Skull Flyer! He and Flying Bomb Angel TEAMED up, and the brawl was on. Teknos was being hammered by Lantern, while D-Lo was battling off both Skull Flyer and the mystery man, and California Kid was holding his own against Soul Train and Flying Bomb Angel. None of the six paid any attention to the bell ringing, counting both teams out.
Lantern, Teknos and, The California Kid and Soul Train Jones, D-Lo Brown, and Flying Bomb Angel battled to a double countout in 0:07:53. Rating: **** 1/4
USWA officials once again were called out to break up the fight. Finally, after all six men had been cleared from the ring area; Kodiak Marmasite made his way to the ring for his matchup with Brett Brown. Once in the ring, Marmasite sat on the turnbuckle, waiting for Brown to make his entrance. Brown's music came on, but Brown was coming in through the crowd behind Kodiak. He never saw him, and Brown clotheslined him off the top rope.
Main Event: Brett Brown vs. Kodiak Marmasite Brown began beating on Marmasite and the fight spilled to the outside. Brown tried to hit Marmasite with a chair, but Kodiak rolled out of the way, then tripped Brown from behind. Marmasite began pounding on Brown, and hit a falling legdrop on the concrete. Brown struggled to his feet, but Marmasite landed the Finisher! Kodiak climbed onto the apron, letting Brown be counted out, when a figure stepped up behind him and clobbered him off the apron with a garbage can… it was RICKY ROMERO! Romero then leaped off the apron, knocking Marmasite down with a flying clothesline. The bell rang soon after, as both Brown and Marmasite were on their backsides.
Brett Brown and Kodiak Marmasite battled to a double countout in 0:05:33. Rating: ***
The crowd was psyched up for Brown vs. Marmasite, and Ricky Romero was standing tall over the both of them! Our cameras shut off with a shot of Romero spitting on both Brett Brown and Kodiak Marmasite.

The Golden Cycloner is unique to this circuit. And he makes much more sense now that I know BigCat was in Oklahoma.
I think the The Equalizers (Hennerson, Xero, and manager Alana) are unique to this circuit as well. BigCat repeatedly spelled the team's name Equilizers instead of Equalizers, but I'm going to assume that's just a typo.

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 10/27/98
On our Halloween edition of LIVE, we prepared to prepared ourselves to be surprised, and after last week's end of the show scene, all three men are wrestling here tonight, and it's safe to assume that something BIG is gonna happen.
D-Lo Brown vs. Neflite Looking to keep up his undefeated streak, Neflite took on D-Lo tonight, for a chance at the Television Title. But, unlike Neflite's past opponents, D-Lo actually tried to fight back. Neflite began the match with a running enzuigiri, then proceeded to wear out D-Lo with a bow-and-arrow submission. But, before he could lock it on tightly, D-Lo kicked free, then reversed a sunset flip into a sitdown splash. D-Lo tried to hook Neflite's leg, but he was back up, and setting up D-Lo for the Moon-breaker. But D-Lo dodged, and caught Neflite on his back with a scorpion deathlock. Neflite crawled to the ropes to break the hold, but wouldn't recover his early found momentum, and fell victim to the Liger Bomb/Low Down combo.
D-Lo Brown pinned Neflite with the Low Down in 0:08:04. Rating: 1/2*
Neflite's winning streak is over, and now next week D-Lo gets a shot at the Television Title, to be decided later tonight.
Big Cat vs. Devon Storm Two men who've been making several dark match appearances got a chance to display their stuff tonight. Dawn Marie was at her best tonight, distracting the referee and even sneaking a chair into the ring. But, Big Cat never faltered, and caught Devon in an Asai moonsault and turned it into a Tombstone. He locked Devon up in a sleeperhold. Devon refused to tap out, and made his way back to his feet, trying to fight out of the hold. He succeeded, but seconds later, was hit with a rolling kick, then the Cat Scratch Fever and the win.
Big Cat pinned Devon Storm with the Cat Scratch Fever in 0:07:45. Rating: *** 1/2
Last week in the 6-man tag team match, we saw a mystery wrestler run out to save the California Kid. Earlier today, we were informed that the Kid and this wrestler, known as The Golden Boy, would tag together tonight, taking on Los Dragones!
The Untouchables (The California Kid and Golden Boy) vs. Los Dragones (Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon)
Thriving on teamwork, Los Dragones were quick out of the gate, demolishing Golden Boy with a double brain buster, double enzuigiri, and a double backdrop. The used quick tags, and were able to keep Golden Boy on his back. But, trying to lock on the Freezing Claw, Ice Dragon was met by a kick to the face, then a DDT. Both men were down, and at the referee's 5 count, began inching toward their corners. Both made the tag, but California Kid charged in and tackled Fire Dragon. He began pummeling him, but Ice Dragon came flying in with a springboard dropkick, knocking Kid off of his partner. But Golden Boy also ran in, and he hit a running elbowdrop on Fire Dragon. The referee lost track of the two legal men, and with Ice Dragon on the mat, California Kid locked in an Achilles tendon hold and Ice couldn't keep his arm up. The Untouchables defeated Los Dragones when California made Ice submit to an Achilles tendon hold in 0:14:33. Rating: ** 3/4
USWA Television Title Match: Ricky Romero (c) vs. Lantern With his display at the end of SuperShow last week, Romero knew that somewhere in the back, Brett Brown and Kodiak Marmasite were watching, and this kept him off balance against the former TV champ, Lantern. He started the match off by taking to the air, dropping Romero with a springboard bodyblock, then locking in a bow-and-arrow submission. Romero's strength was able to free him of the hold, but Lantern was relentless, hitting two clotheslines and a diving shoulderblock for good measure. As he prepared for the Light Beam, Romero's last burst of energy kicked in, and he was able to duck under the Light Beam, and spring up with a dropkick. He began to lock in a figure-four, when Kodiak Marmasite showed up! He strutted to the ring, and Romero spotted him, released the hold, then began yelling at Marmasite from inside the ring. This gave Lantern the time he needed to scale the ropes, and blindside Romero with the Light Beam!
Lantern pinned Ricky Romero with the Light Beam in 0:07:25. Rating: * 1/2 (Lantern won the USWA Television Title.)
Lantern regains his Television Title thanks to a little help from Kodiak! But the match got even stranger, as Romero lost his cool and pumphandle slammed Lantern down, then somersaulted over the ropes, and began brawling with Kodiak. Then out from the back came… Jack Slade? Slade, who was scheduled to take on Marmasite later tonight, snuck up behind him and flattened him with a Spiked DDT! He and Romero exchanged a glance, before Slade left the ring area, and Romero followed shortly after. Last Saturday in that 6-man tag match, we saw another newcomer to the USWA, Skull Flyer. Tonight, he and his partner Flying Bomb Angel would team up, taking on the slumping Highlanders.
Birds of Prey (Skull Flyer and Flying Bomb Angel) vs. Highland Hell (Angus Wallace and Hamish MacTavish) w/ The Flying Scotsman The match started off like most: in the Highlander's favor. Hamish was completely dominant over FBA, and even a desperation moonsault couldn't find its spot. But, Skull Flyer quickly became involved, jumping in the ring and clotheslining Hamish down before diving out of harm's way. He would repeat the attack three more times before his partner finally tagged out to him. He dove into the ring, rolled under a clothesline, then sprung up and superkicked Hamish to the corner. He followed it up with a Frankensteiner/flying elbowdrop combo before tagging back out FBA. Angel hit the ring, and Flying Scotsman took his partner off the apron at the same time. With Angus and Hamish left to double up on Angel, it looked to be over. But out of the blue came the Forces AND Jerry Kent! They walked to the ring, with Ghost holding a fire extinguisher in his hand. Once at ringside, Ghost tossed FBA the extinguisher, and he dented it over Hamish's head. He slid it back out of the ring as the Forces left, covered and won!
Birds of Prey defeated Highland Hell when FBA pinned Hamish after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:10:49. Rating: **** 1/4
Another loss by Highland Hell, caused by The Forces, the third in a row to be exact. But, the Scotsman could get their revenge, as it was announced for next week that Hamish MacTavish will go one-on-one with Spreak!
Jack Slade vs. Kodiak Marmasite After the surprise attack on Kodiak earlier, Slade left a lot of questions unanswered heading into this battle. Kodiak, still feeling the effects of the Spiked DDT earlier, was a little groggy to open things up, and Slade took advantage. Kodiak fell early to two spinebuster bombs, then barely kicked out of an inside cradle. Slade tried to put Kodiak out via the Cruncher Crab, but Marmasite wasn't ready yet, and he easily crawled to the ropes. Then, Slade missed a dropkick, and it was Kodiak's turn to take control, locking in a headscissors submission. He held onto it, but Slade's strength allowed him to pry Kodiak's off. Kodiak was up in a flash though, and brought Slade back down with a series of knife-edged chops, culminated by a brain buster suplex. Slade was a little slow, and seemed in perfect position for the Finisher. But, he forewent the Finisher, instead he decide to try a Northern Lights Bomb. Unfortunately, Slade was able to reverse it into a Spiked DDT and get the win.
Jack Slade pinned Kodiak Marmasite with the Spiked DDT in 0:12:00. Rating: ****
After the match, Brett Brown came running out followed by Romero. Both men slid into the ring, but Kodiak had already slid out and was headed to the locker room through the crowd. Romero and Slade once again commenced in a staredown, as Brown kept his distance from both of them.
TOC Qualifying Match: Brett Brown vs. Soul Train Jones Not exactly a match here, more like a squash. Soul Train was more worried about singing along to his entrance music, then he was the flying clothesline he got to start the match. Brett just plain manhandled him, hitting a variety of overhead suplexes/slams and finally the Brett Blaster Gold for the win. [TOC Qualifying Match] Brett Brown pinned Soul Train Jones with the Brett Blaster Gold in 0:03:04. Rating: ***
Brown left the ring, as neither Marmasite or Romero appeared to stop him. But, once he reached the dressing room, and loud CRACK was heard, and Brett came flying back out through the curtain. Our cameras went off the air before we could get a good look at the man.

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 11/3/98
The night started off with a Brett Brown making his way to the ring. He was carrying a dented chair and had stitches over his right eye. He got in the ring and grabbed a mic.
"SLADE! You stupid son of a bitch, you think you can put me out with this chair? I saw you before you hit me; you're not fast enough to fool me, not by a long shot. You get your ass down here before I come back there and give you a taste of your own medicine!"
With that, Slade DID appear, but wasn't saying what Brett wanted to hear.
"Brett, I don't know who you think you are, but you don't come out here and accuse me of anything. I didn't hit you with a chair Tuesday. Hell, I wouldn't want to waste my time. But if you think you've got fight me to feel better... BRING IT ON!"
"Good, cause tonight, I'm gonna kick your teeth back down your throat you lying sack of sh<<cut to commercials>>
When we returned, Los Dragones were already in the ring, and Alana was leading her Equilizers down to ringside.
The Equalizers w/ Alana vs. Los Dragones A battle between four magnificent flyers, Xero tried to end the match thirty seconds in by trying to drive Fire through a table via a springboard twisting moonsault. O But Fire, rolled away, and Xero crashed through the table as Fire tagged out to Ice. Ice got the tag, and leaped off the apron with a plancha! Adulf lost his cool, and got involved outside. This brought in Fire Dragon, who took all three men out with a corkscrew plancha! But, Xero crawled into the ring to stop the countout and drug Ice with him. He tagged out to Hennersonn who springboarded at Ice and hit a clothesline! Another tag out to Xero, which resulted in a split-legged moonsault. But, when Xero tried to lock in a half Boston, Ice countered with an enzuigiri! He crawled over to his corner and made the tag out to Fire, but Xero also made a tag out Hennersonn. Fire charged, but got a backdrop driver for his troubles. The move took too much out of Fire, and he soon felt the chill of the Arctic Blast. The Equalizers (Xero and Hennersonn) defeated Los Dragones (Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon) when Hennersonn pinned Fire with the Arctic Blast in 0:11:51. Rating: ****
USWA Lightweight Title Match: Teknos (c) vs. Reckless Youth w/ The Perfect Creation One half of Revolution-X was set to take on Teknos for the Lightweight Title, but on his way to the ring, Reckless Youth was attacked by Higland Hell? The threesome laid waste to Reckless, and his partner in crime Perfect Creation. By the time the match had started, Reckless was wasted, and Teknos had a fairly easy time getting the win.
Teknos pinned Reckless Youth with the Teknospinner in 0:01:33. Rating: *** (Teknos retained the USWA Lightweight Title.)
As luck would have it, Highland Hell stuck around for the next match: Neflite vs. Ghost!
Neflite vs. Ghost Ghost came to the ring without Spreak or Kent, which was a huge mistake. He stepped into the ring, but was blasted back out with a dropkick. Neflite then hit a suicide dive, knocking Ghost into the guardrail. He drug Ghost back in the ring, but as he went for a backdrop driver, Ghost reversed it into a power bomb! Ghost was preparing for the Final Breath '92, when Flying Scotsman intervened, and began screaming at the ref. Both Ghost and the ref walked over to the side jawing at Scotsman. Hamish though was behind the ring, and passed Neflite a set of brass knuckles. Neflite grabbed Ghost from behind and clocked him with the loaded fist, then covered.
Neflite pinned Ghost after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:04:34. Rating: ***
Neflite left the ring as Spreak ran out and attacked Flying Scotsman! Angus was about to dent a chair over Spreak's head, when Jerry Kent appeared out of the crowd, hitting a reverse DDT onto Angus! Spreak then slid into the ring, and began brawling with Hamish.
"Big" Hamish MacTavish w/ Highland Hell vs. Spreak w/ Jerry Kent Hamish's size gave him advantage, and the short brawl before the bell was quickly ended with a thundering headbutt from the big Highlander. Spreak sprung up, but missed with a clothesline, and Hamish retaliated with a German suplex and a near fall. Hamish followed it up with a big sitdown splash, then a power bomb. He whipped Spreak into the ropes, and Flying Scotsman nailed him in the back with a chair! Hamish charged for another clothesline, but Spreak ducked down, and catapulted Hamish to the floor on top of Flying Scotsman! Spreak got a running start, then leaped out of the ring with a plancha on top of Hamish. He reentered the ring, and waited... and waited... and waited.
Spreak defeated Hamish MacTavish by countout in 0:13:11. Rating: *** 1/4
Hamish couldn't get back in the ring, and Kent and Spreak left together, getting yet ANOTHER win over a Highlander before their big six-man tag match at Wild Ride.
USWA Television Title Match: Lantern (c) vs. D-Lo Brown D-Lo won the right to this match by beating Neflite a week ago. He may not have wanted. He started the match off hot, rallying off three clotheslines before Lantern wised up and reversed one into a crucifix. D-Lo kicked out, then dropped Lantern with a side suplex, then a splash, and finally a dragon sleeper. Lantern was too close to the ropes and was able to break the hold. D-Lo was in total control and sat Lantern up for the Liger Bomb. But before he could bring Lantern down, it was reversed into a sitdown faceslam! Both wrestlers were on the mat, but D-Lo was still the first one up. He climbed the top rope for the Low Down, when Neflite showed up! He smashed D-Lo in the back of the head with the brass knuckles passed to him earlier, and D-Lo fell off back/neck first. Lantern was already up, and scaling the opposite turnbuckle. As D-Lo pulled himself up, Lantern flew off with the Light Beam.
Lantern pinned D-Lo Brown with the Light Beam in 0:06:19. Rating: * 3/4 (Lantern retained the USWA Television Title.) D-Lo Brown suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 6 cards.
After the match, D-Lo was examined by USWA trainers and has sustained a minor neck injury. While it won't sideline his career, two major things happen: 1)He misses Wild Ride and 2) He cannot compete in the TOC, meaning that the man D-Lo beat, Donovan Glory (who was sidelined with an injury until last week) takes his place.
TOC Qualifying Match: Lantern vs. Teknos Lantern remained in the ring as Teknos made his way out. The only two title holders right now in the USWA, fought it out with every high-flying move known for the first few minutes, as neither man would back down for the other. But Teknos hit a flying clothesline while Lantern tried catch him in midair. It took all the air out of Lantern, and the next move: a gutbuster, put Lantern out of the match. Teknos finished up his assault with the Teknospinner, and takes the final slot in the Tournament of Champions.
[TOC Qualifying Match]: Non-Title-Match Teknos pinned Lantern with the Teknospinner in 0:09:20. Rating: ** 3/4
Main Event: Brett Brown vs. Jack Slade The big main event was next. Brett Brown made his way to the ring, still carrying that dented chair. Slade tried to get in the ring during his entrance, but fell victim to the chair Brown was carrying! Brown pulled Slade into the ring, and began to beat up on him in the corner. He hit an avalanche, when he went for the second, Slade moved, and Brown went flying into the turnbuckle. Slade wheeled Brown around, and locked in the Spiked DDT, but Brown grabbed the ropes and wouldn't let go, blocking the move. When Slade released the hold, Brown got in a cheap shot, then clotheslined Slade to the ground. He tried to lock in a spinning toe hold, but Slade sat up and poked Brown in the eyes. He got up and charged Brown, but Brett hit him with a single-leg takedown. He picked Brown up, then bodyslammed him back down. He followed it up with a jumping kneedrop. Slade got up one last time, but missed a clothesline, and Brett caught him, the set him up for the Brett Blaster Gold. Brett Brown pinned Jack Slade with the Brett Blaster Gold in 0:11:01. Rating: **** 1/4
Brett got his revenge, but Slade still refused to admit he attacked Brett with the chair. This is getting too weird, as now a fourth man becomes involved with Brett Brown, Kodiak Marmasite, and Ricky Romero. Plus next week on LIVE!, the drawing for the first round TOC matches, and the Equalizers take on D-Lo Brown and Soul Train Jones (you read it right) and Neflite gets his TV title shot against Lantern!

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 11/10/98
On a BIG night for 8 lucky men, the USWA prepared for the road to Wild Ride, just two weeks away!!!
Big Cat vs. The Golden Cycloner A complete mismatch size wise, as Big Cat simply towered over the smaller Cycloner. Big Cat opened things up with a few punches, but looked a little timid. Cycloner cured this ill, compliment of a superkick. Big Cat got back up, and ducked under a Cycloner enzuigiri. Cycloner tried another superkick, but this time, Cat caught foot and brought him down with a dragon screw. Big Cat pounced on him again, this time with a choke power bomb. There was little left for Cycloner to do and he fell victim to the Cat Scratch Fever.
Big Cat pinned The Golden Cycloner with the Cat Scratch Fever in 0:10:07. Rating: **** 1/4
Birds of Prey vs. Los Dragones Looking to rebound from last weeks shellacking at the hands of the Equalizers, Los Dragones took on the newly formed, Birds of Prey. But opening the match, Flying Bomb Angel had a plan...a very nasty one at that. Ice Dragon started off for his team, but Angel quickly floored him with a clothesline. He began beating on him, peppering him with stiff lefts. Angel's partner, Skull Flyer began to distract the referee, claiming that Fire Dragon had a set of knuckles in his tights. As the ref and Fire Dragon argued, Skull Flyer tossed a chair into the works. Angel flattened Ice with the chair, then turned the ref to see the pin and it was all over.
Birds of Prey (Flying Bomb Angel and Skull Flyer) defeated Los Dragones (Fire Dragon and Ice Dragon) when FBA pinned Ice after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:02:49. Rating: 1/4*
Fire was irate to say the least, and he leaped the ropes, dropkicking the referee out of his way. He hit a spinning mule kick on Angel, before leaping over the ropes again, this time flattening Skull Flyer with a plancha. Ice came to his senses, realized what happened, then locked in a double Freezing Claw, one on Flying Bomb Angel and one on the referee! Los Dragones cleaned house before leaving, standing tall even after the loss.
The next match was scheduled to be Teknos vs. Spreak for the Lightweight Title. But Spreak refused to enter the ring until he was assured that Highland Hell would be banned from ringside. It was reported that the trio hadn't arrived yet, and reluctantly, Spreak entered the match.
USWA Lightweight Title Match: Teknos (c) vs. Spreak Unfortunately for Spreak, USWA officials neglected to check the crowd, and when the bell rang, the Highlanders came pouring over the guardrail! The referee, realizing what was happening, turned to try and verbally force Hamish and Angus from ringside. Spreak dove out of the ring, but Flying Scotsman had a running start, and snapped the Scottish flag over Spreak's head. He rolled him back into a grateful Teknos, who hit a simple Frankensteiner to gain the win. Teknos pinned Spreak after a Frankensteiner in 0:01:33. Rating: * 1/2 (Teknos retained the USWA Lightweight Title.)
But the fun wasn't over yet. Jerry Kent and Ghost cautiously made their way to ringside, and got Spreak out of dodge while an angry Highland Hell team waited in the crowd during the next match. USWA Television Title Match: Lantern (c) vs. Neflite Last week, Neflite cost D-Lo Brown his chance at the TV Title, his spot in the TOC, and his shot at the World Title, when he pushed him off the turnbuckle, causing a neck injury. He tried to put Lantern out in the same fashion, but had a tougher time than expected. Lantern's quickness was superior to that of Neflite's, and he was constantly getting out of various submission holds. Finally, Lantern struck with a springboard shoulderblock. He kept the momentum going with a series of kicks to the chest, culminated with a superkick. Neflite fell into the corner, but Lantern missed an avalanche, and Neflite rocked the ring with a German suplex. Neflite prepared to end it, and had the Moon-Breaker set up perfectly, when a flash of light blinded the entire ring area. When our cameras regained focus, Neflite was on his shoulders, and the ref was in the midst of the three count.
Lantern pinned Neflite with his special move in 0:06:55. Rating: 1/4* (Lantern retained the USWA Television Title.)
WTF??? For no reason at all, a blinding light suddenly appears, and down goes Neflite? Strange. But that wasn't the half of his problems. D-Lo Brown and Soul Train Jones showed up at ringside, apparently for their match with the Equalizers. But D-Lo got on the mic instead.
"Well, just in case some of you idiots out there been wonderin', that little punk in the ring put me out of action, so we won't be wrestling the Equalizers tonight. But Neflite, you not only cost me the TV title, you cost me the World Title as well, and I've been thinkin' long and hard about what to do about it. And this is what I came up with. In two weeks, at Wild Ride, I've gotten the say-so from the front office, that you HAVE to fight Soul Train in a Motown Street Fight!"
But Soul Train looked a bit surprised, "Hey D-Lo, man you ain't said nothin' bout me in a Motown Street Fight. I ain't fighting ol' grandpa up their. I'm goin out with da girls."
D-Lo was taken back, and wasn't too happy with his partner's reply. "Let me tell you something S.T., if you don't do it, I'll GUARANTEE you that something REEAALLL bad is gonna happen at Wild Ride to you and to you Neflite."
With that, D-Lo left ringside as Soul Train was scoping out the audience. But Neflite wasn't finished, and he catapulted over the top rope and hit a corkscrew dropkick on Soul Train! Neflite left as Soul Train tried to recollect himself.
Scottish Tigers w/ Angus Wallace vs. The Forces w/ Jerry Kent The trio of the Forces and Jerry Kent has been hard to break up, and have yet to lose to the Highlanders in the middle of this feud. But things got off on the wrong foot, and Hamish just clobbered Spreak with a vicious choke slam to start the match. Spreak tried to come back, hitting a dropkick, and then a locking in an Achilles tendon hold, but was clotheslined back to the mat by the Flying Scotsman! He and Hamish did a double team number on Spreak, nearly winning the match with a double brain buster. But Kent couldn't stand by and watch Spreak being pummeled, and he pulled Scotsman out of the ring and began to pepper him. This let Spreak crawl to his corner and tag out to Ghost! But the match inside of the ring began to be overshadowed by the brawl outside. But during the madness, Angus got in the ring and hammered Ghost with the Scottish Flag! Flying Scotsman seized the opportunity and slid in to apply the Scottish Breaker!
Scottish Tigers defeated The Forces when Scotsman made Ghost submit to the Scottish Breaker in 0:09:42. Rating: **** 1/4 Two weeks before Wild Ride and the Highlanders are back and they mean business!
After the match, a big hopper was brought into the ring, as the eight men involved in the TOC made their way to the ring. The announcer ran down the list of names, then announced the pairings: The first name to be drawn was... Jack Slade! His opponent for tonight... Spreak!
Slade vs. Spreak! The next two names drawn out were... Ricky Romero and Jerry Kent! Those two matches would be tonight, while the next two would be next Tuesday. The next name drawn... Kodiak Marmasite! As the announcer read the next name, he took a long breath before reading it out loud. Kodiak's first round opponent would be... BRETT BROWN!!! The crowd erupted as Brett and Kodiak took a LONG look at one another while the last two wrestlers remaining, Donovan Glory and Teknos were announced as the final match.
Round 1 of TOC Tournament: Jack Slade vs. Spreak Spreak decided to leave Ghost and Kent out of this match, and Slade capitalized on the one on one encounter. Spreak tried to open the match up with a flying cross body, but Slade ducked and Spreak fell flat on his face. Slade went for the Cruncher Crab, but Spreak grabbed Slade's head and brought him down with a small package. 2 count. Slade got back up, but Spreak brought him back down with a jawbreaker. He locked in a Texas Cloverleaf. Slade nearly submitted, but reached down deep and actually KICKED free! He struggled to his feet, but ducked a lariat from Spreak and hit a side suplex. Spreak though tripped Slade, then prepared for a Northern Lights bomb. But Slade kneed him in the chest, then hooked the leg and drove him down with a Spiked DDT!
[Round 1 of TOC Tournament] Jack Slade pinned Spreak with the Spiked DDT in 0:11:00. Rating: **** 1/4
Jack Slade advances! Now, to decide his first opponent.
Round 1 of TOC Tournament: Ricky Romero vs. "The Rebel" Jerry Kent One would think that Kent's age might play a factor in this matchup. You'd also be wrong. Early on, Kent had the match in hand, flooring Romero with a reverse clothesine, then locking in a Boston crab. Romero easily crawled to the ropes, but Kent held on until the referee's five count before releasing. As Romero tried to get up, Kent began burying forearm shivers into his back. But Romero lunged at Kent and speared him down at the knees. Romero began punching Kent and the two began to brawl on the ground. Romero kicked Kent outside, and Jerry fell directly on concrete. Romero went outside and sat up a table, and then he placed Kent on top of it. He climbed the turnbuckle and came down with a Texas Sunset through a table! He rolled Kent in and went for the pin. 1...2...KICKOUT!!! Kent kicked out of a Texas Sunset...through a table! Romero was in awe, and tried to end it again. He went up top and hit ANOTHER Texas Sunset, then went for the pin. 1... 2... KICKOUT!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Kent kicked out of TWO Texas Sunsets, one through a table! Romero got angry, and Kent tried to trip him with a fireman's carry, but Romero reversed it into a gutwrench suplex. 1...2...3!!! [Round 1 of TOC Tournament] Ricky Romero pinned Jerry Kent after a gutwrench suplex in 0:14:38. Rating: *****
What a match! Kent kicked out of two Texas Sunsets, but couldn't get the win. Now the semi-finals of the TOC are partway in place. Jack Slade vs. Ricky Romero, two of the oldest rivals in the USWA! Don't miss next Tuesday's edition of LIVE: will hear about the tag title situation. Soul Train responds to D-Lo and Neflite. Round 1 of the TOC Tournament matches, Teknos vs. Donovan Glory and Kodiak Marmasite vs. Brett Brown!!!!

USWA Tuesday Night LIVE! 11/17/98
Just 5 more days! 5 more days until the Wild Ride, and the card is beginning to shape up very nicely. The first match for tonight's card was an 8-man battle royal, to decide the top contender for the USWA Lightweight Title for Wild Ride!
8-man Top Contenders Battle Royal
With all eight men in the ring, chaos broke out early. Los Dragones and Birds of Prey battled it out in one corner, while El Temblor and Golden Cycloner tried to fend off the Untouchables. In the far corner, Los Dragones were dominating, and Ice and Fire sent Skull Flyer flying over the top rope with a double dropkick. x Ice Dragon threw Skull out Flyer after a dropkick in 0:02:39.
Skull's partner tried to exact a bit of revenge, but was nearly thrown out after a Fire Dragon chop. Then from across the ring, California Kid came sprinting at Los Dragones! They catapulted him towards the ropes, and he clotheslined Flying Bomb Angel over!
x The California Kid threw out FBA with a clothesline in 0:03:01.
But the Kid wasn't safe yet. Los Dragones looked to eliminate anybody who came to their corner, and picked Kid up and dropped him throat first across the top rope! Ice picked him up the Kid connected with a low blow, then hiptossed Ice out of the ring!
x The California Kid threw out Ice Dragon in 0:05:35.
In the opposite corner, Golden Boy was suffering since his partner had left. Cycloner had him perched on the top rope, when El Temblor tried to push BOTH of the men off the turnbuckle! Cycloner held onto the steel pole, but Golden Boy was sent to the ground. x El Temblor threw out Golden Boy in 0:07:49.
Four men were left, and all four were going at one another with reckless abandon. Fire tried to take the Kid out again with a backdrop driver, but Kid latched on to the top rope and refused to let go. But Ice Dragon came back to ringside with a chair, and nailed Kid in the back with it! Fire connected with a roundhouse kick and the Kid was no more.
x Fire Dragon threw out The California Kid after a superkick in 0:09:32.
But with the Kid outside, The Golden Boy showed up, and the Untouchables did a number on Ice! Seeing his partner being dismantled outside, Fire lost his concentration. He ran off the ropes and dove over the top rope with a tope suicida! He took out all three men and the brawl continued to ensue throughout the arena.
x Fire Dragon eliminated himself in 0:09:59.
Cycloner and Temblor were left, and neither man would give an inch! Cycloner tried to for the Factor 5, but Temblor reversed it with a snap suplex! He climbed the top rope and came off with the Mexican Screwdriver! Cycloner was out and Temblor made an easy elimination.
x El Temblor threw out Cycloner after the Mexican Screwdriver in 0:10:11.
El Temblor won an 8-man battle royal. Rating: ??
Back from jobbing, El Temblor wins the shot at Teknos and the Lightweight Title at Wild Ride!
USWA Television Title Match: Lantern (c) vs. Big Cat The red-hot rookie's work paid off tonight, getting a shot at the TV title! Big Cat dominated early, nearly getting the win with a spinebuster bomb. Lantern was slow on his feet, and fell victim to a swinging neckbreaker/flying kneedrop combo that nearly put him away again. But Big Cat missed a dropkick, and Lantern was quick to take advantage, hitting a running elbowdrop! Big Cat got back up, and Lantern connected with an enzuigiri to the face, followed by a rolling clothesline! Lantern looked to have the match wrapped up, when TEKNOS showed up! He nailed Lantern with his Lightweight Title, and Lantern fell to the mat, clutching his knee, in perfect position for a Big Cat bulldog. Big Cat pinned Lantern after a bulldog in 0:07:09. Rating: *** 1/4 (Big Cat won the USWA Television Title.)
The rookie won! But this wasn't over yet; both Big Cat AND Teknos laid it out to Lantern and were finally escorted away as Lantern was attended to. Has the hotshot rookie joined forces with the hottest wrestler in the USWA? And if he has... WHY?!?!
The Equalizers w/Alana vs. Birds of Prey Since they were the first to be eliminated in the battle royal, BoP was pretty fresh. But the Equalizers were on top of their game... as usual. FBA tried to floor Xero with a spinning leg lariat, but Xero ducked, and Argentina native sent Angel flying over the top rope with a clothesline! He tagged out the Hennersonn as Skull Flyer ran in. Hennersonn ducked a clothesline, then hit a legsweep faceslam. He locked in an armbar submission, but Angel sprang back into the ring and dropkicked Hennersonn in the back of the head! Xero charged in and floored Angel with a running enzuigiri. He went outside, then springboarded back in, hitting the Aires Driver! In the other corner, Hennersonn nailed the Arctic Blast on Skull Flyer and the two pinned BoP simultaneously!
The Equalizers (Xero and Hennersonn) defeated Birds of Prey (Flying Bomb Angel and Skull Flyer) when Hennersonn pinned Skull with the Arctic Blast in 0:09:21. Rating: ***
After the match, an announcement was made concerning the tag team title match at Wild Ride. To decide who the two teams would be, this Saturday, the night before Wild Ride, there would be an all-around battle royal (pinfalls/submissions/over-the-top) with the last two men left winning the right to having their teams in the match!
The Flying Scotsman w/ Highland Hell vs. Jerry Kent w/ The Forces Perhaps their final face-off until Wild Ride, the Forces and Highland Hell locked horns again. Scotsman was being dominated by the older, wiser Kent. Kent had Scotsman on the ground, locked in a figure-four. Angus and Hamish began jawing at the referee, and his attention was drawn away long enough for Scotsman to reach into his trunks and pull out a set of knucks! He began punching Kent's ankle and the hold was quickly broken! Jerry was limping, but still managed to keep Scotsman where he wanted him with a facebuster/overhead suplex combo. The Forces tried to use the Highlander's trick, and began distracting the ref. But Kent didn't have a set of knucks! Scotsman grabbed his Scottish flag and introduced to another member of the Forces.
The Flying Scotsman pinned Jerry Kent after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:08:02. Rating: *** 3/4
Maybe the Forces were dominating early in this feud, but there's no question that Highland Hell is hot going into Wild Ride, and could come out on top.
D-Lo Brown came out next, without Soul Train Jones. He grabbed a mic and then CALLED Soul Train out. Soul Train appeared, and the tongue lashing began.
"Well Soul Train, I've given you a week. Are you gonna get my revenge for me or am I gonna have to take you out?"
"Listen homes, we can handle this later. Because Sunday night I've got four fine females comin' out with me and we're headed all over Minneapolis baby."
D-Lo looked disgusted. "So, you're not going to face Neflite Sunday. Well Soul Train, I gave you a chance. But come Sunday both you and Neflite are gonna be on your backsides."
D-Lo left not even looking at his former partner. Who is he gonna find for the Motown Street Fight this Sunday? And who will have enough gas to take out Neflite AND Soul Train?
Neflite vs. Reckless Youth Neflite looked to get some practice in before Wild Ride, and his opponent, Reckless Youth has been terrible since joining the USWA. Neflite was all over Youth the whole night, and caught him with a Frankensteiner off the top rope.
Neflite pinned Reckless Youth after a Frankensteiner from the top rope in 0:04:05. Rating: *** Two matches left to go in the first round of the TOC, and they were next!
Round 1 of TOC Tournament: Donovan Glory vs. Teknos The grizzled veteran against the hottest wrestler going. This didn't look to be a very fair fight, but Glory refused to back down, and had an early advantage on Teknos, keeping him on earth with some great technical wrestling. Teknos finally sprung free, reversing an armbar than delivering a superkick. He went up top, but Glory rolled away before Teknos could hit the frog splash. Glory took back control with a full nelson slam, then a football tackle. Teknos tried to get off a roundhouse kick, but Glory was expecting it, and ducked. He came back up with a vicious uppercut. He loaded Teknos onto his shoulder and hit the Guts and Glory!
[Round 1 of TOC Tournament]: Non-Title-Match Donovan Glory pinned Teknos with the Guts and Glory in 0:09:36. Rating: *** 1/4
The oldest wrestler in the USWA, who didn't initially win his qualifying match beat Teknos and is in the semi-finals!
Round 1 of TOC Tournament: Kodiak Marmasite vs. Brett Brown Everybody was waiting for this one. Two men who hate each more than most Middle Eastern countries do were set to battle it to advance in the TOC. Kodiak was dominant early, keeping Brett's power to a minimum. Kodiak nearly had the match won, locking a Texas Cloverleaf on in the middle of the ring. But Brett inched his way to the ropes and finally got there after 46 seconds in the hold! His legs were shot, but he was able to duck the Finisher and keep alive! Brett started to take over, hitting a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, then a piledriver. But Kodiak was playing possum, and when Brett lifted him back up, Kodiak nailed the Finisher! Brett rolled outside, but the ref was restraining Kodiak from going outside! While his back was turned, Jack Slade showed up! He picked Brett up, dusted him off, and was looking to roll him back inside, when he wheeled him around and nailed him with the Spiked DDT!
[Round 1 of TOC Tournament] Kodiak Marmasite defeated Brett Brown by countout in 0:10:59. Rating: **** 1/4
Kodiak was happy with the win, but Ricky Romero then rushed in from the crowd, chair in hand! He slid into the ring and nailed Kodiak in the back of the head with it. Romero and Slade once again commenced in a long stare down while both Brown and Marmasite were out cold as we went off the air.

USWA Saturday Night SuperShow 11/21/98
One night away from Wild Ride, we had a truckload of action tonight. The tag team battle royal, Big Cat vs. Lantern II, and Neflite takes on Soul Train in the match that might have been.
El Temblor vs. Tricky Sombrero The number one contender to the Lightweight title faced off against the struggling rookie Tricky Sombrero. Temblor started things off strong, flooring Tricky with a thrust kick and laid into Tricky with some lethal kicks to the upper chest. Tricky fell into the corner, where he got a rope break. Temblor stopped the assault, and Tricky charged him with a lariat. Tricky went for second rope elbowdrop, but Temblor rolled away, and was back on his feet: hammering Tricky with several axhandle blows. Tricky once again fell into the corner, but this time Temblor got a running start and catapulted into the corner hitting a Frankensteiner! Temblor mounted the top rope and hit the Mexican Screwdriver for the win.
El Temblor pinned Tricky Sombrero with the Mexican Screwdriver in 0:09:30. Rating: ** 1/2
The next two matches came at special request. Apparently, the team of Birds of Prey doesn't approve of the Forces and Highlanders. They offered to take on one member of each team individually to prove a point. Skull Flyer was up first, taking on Jerry Kent of the Forces.
Skull Flyer vs Jerry Kent Skull caught Kent off guard early, planting him with a Mexican armdrag, then locking in a half Boston. Kent was able to kick the smaller Flyer off with his free leg, but was still sluggish as Flyer began another run of offense. Flyer tried going for the win with a triple-jump moonsault, but the cagey veteran was ready, and lifted his knees up seconds before impact. Flyer's air left him, and as he gasped for more on the mat, Kent finished the match with the Reb Driver.
Jerry Kent pinned Skull Flyer with the Reb Driver in 0:07:47. Rating: *** 1/2
His teammate had dominated the entire match, but couldn't finish it off. Now, Flying Bomb Angel took on Flying Scotsman of Highland Hell, hoping to have better luck.
Flying Bomb Angel vs. Flying Scotsman Scotsman though didn't set back the way Kent had. Angel tried to drive Scotsman to the ground with spear, but he reversed it into a modified flapjack. This took almost all the wind out of Angel's sails, and Scotsman was relentless. He hit a legsweep faceslam, followed by a facebuster. He finished what he started with a Michinoku Driver.
The Flying Scotsman pinned Flying Bomb Angel after the Michinoku Driver in 0:05:52. Rating: **
Whatever point BOP was trying to prove, it didn't work out, and the Forces and Highland Hell go into tomorrow night's battle strong.
Boris Molotov w/ Gen. Ivan Morowski vs. The Golden Boy The return of the Big Red Machine was met with the challenge of Golden Boy. Boris was surprised at first, as Golden refused to back down, even dropping the big Ruskie with an enzuigiri. That was about all it took to fire up Molotov, and he sprung up and clotheslined Golden down to the mat. He locked in an STF and refused to release the hold until the referee threatened a DQ. Golden Boy was spent, and Molotov began beat Golden Boy into submission. A Gorilla Press slam, running powerslam, and a Soviet suplex pretty much wrapped the match up, save for the Molotov Cocktail.
Boris Molotov pinned The Golden Boy with the Molotov Cocktail in 0:10:39. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match, Molotov's manager/commanding officer, General Ivan Morowski got the ring mic.
"Well, I hope you are happy wiz ze rezult of zis match. You zee, you president laughed at me and Boris when we warned him of what we planned to do to ze USWA. So Mr. Tarbet, whatz do you think now? I warned you...and now the USWA az a whole will pay ze price. Tomorrow night at Wild Ride, we bring ze Iron Curtain down on ze USWA, and nobody will stop us. Not Tarbet, not ze World Champ, not even zis peasant wrestler who Boris has just whipped. Prepare yourself USWA, becauze ze end iz near!"
The Iron Curtain? What does the general have in store for Wild Ride, and what does he have against President Tarbet?
Our next match could have been the preview to tomorrow's Motown Street Fight, but Soul Train Jones turned down the offer of D-Lo Brown, and now D-Lo has sworn revenge on both Neflite and Soul Train.
Neflite vs. Soul Train Jones Soul Train was obviously more concerned about things besides the match and Neflite had more of a training session than a match. Soul Train missed a lariat, and Neflite locked in a dragon suplex. He followed it up with a reverse neckbreaker, then hit the Moon-Breaker for the win.
Neflite pinned Soul Train Jones with the Moon-Breaker in 0:04:10. Rating: -* 1/2
USWA Television Title Match: Big Cat (c) vs. Lantern The big rookie pulled an upset off last week, thanks to Teknos. Lantern looked to get revenge, any way he could. Lantern's high flying attack was shutdown again, and Big Cat was having his way with him until a power bomb was reversed into a sitdown facebuster. Lantern tried an Asai moonsault, but Big Cat reversed it into a Tombstone! Big Cat lifted Lantern up, preparing for the Cat Scratch Fever when another blinding flash of light filled the ring. When our cameras regained sight of the ring, Lantern was covering Big Cat for the win!
Lantern pinned Big Cat with his special move in 0:07:35. Rating: *** 3/4 (Lantern won the USWA Television Title.)
This is the second time that Lantern has lost his title, and then won after a flash of light. Something very strange is going on here and someone needs to get to the bottom of it.
16-Man Battle Royal All eight teams were in the ring, including the new team, The Red River Bandits. The opening minutes were chaos. Trying to distinguish what was going on was tough, but both of the Bandits were manhandling the Forces in one corner. Near the eight minute mark, Bandit #1 tossed Spreak out of the ring for the first elimination.
x Bandit #1 threw out Spreak in 0:08:28 Ghost retaliated, and hit Bandit #1 with a Stunner! He began fending off both Bandits when Skull Flyer was sent hurtling across the ring into the turnbuckle. Xero charged in, but Skull Flyer ducked his shoulder and back body dropped Xero out of the ring!
x Skull Flyer threw out Xero in 0:12:05 After these two eliminations, the action slowed down a bit. But the Equilizers were in bad shape, Xero was eliminated and Golden Boy had beaten Hennersonn down with the help of three other wrestlers. Golden Boy locked in the Touch of Gold and Hennersonn tried to fight his way out of it. But slowly, he began to lose and finally fell to the hold.
x Golden Boy defeated Hennersonn after the Touch of Gold in 0:24:15 The number one ranked team coming in were eliminated already! But as the Untouchables were celebrating, the Bandits took advantage and had the two on the ropes. But Golden Boy quickly reversed a roundhouse right into a right cross of his own. He began pummeling Bandit #2 and prepared to send him over to his partner. But Bandit #2 reversed it, and Golden Boy was sent towards the ropes. California Kid backdropped him over the top rope, thinking he was Bandit.
x Cal Kid threw out Golden Boy in 0:29:45 The Kid was upset, but the Bandits had been blindsided by Highland Hell and were the least of his worries now. Skull Flyer tried to punk Kid over the ropes, hitting a running bulldog from behind. But as Skull Flyer tried to toss Kid over the top rope, Kid landed on the apron, then suplexed Skull to the floor!
x Cal Kid threw out Skull Flyer in 0:30:52 Skull's partner was getting a beating too. Highland Hell was pretty much handling everyone, and Angel found himself on the receiving end of a For Williams.
x Wallace threw out FBA after the For William in 0:35:42 Wallace wasn't finished though, and he took out R-X's Perfect Creation only 32 seconds later with the same move! x Wallace defeated Perfect Creation after the For William in 0:36:14 The combatants were spread out, and the one-on-one matchups began to show. Once again, Angus got a mismatch with Ice Dragon in the corner. After Angus reversed a Frankensteiner into a jack-knife, the For William was used to take its third victim out! x Angus Wallace defeated Ice Dragon after the For William in 0:42:16 Highland Hell was on fire, but the Red River Bandits were keeping pace and pestering Hamish and Angus with hit and run tactics. Hamish finally got pissed and grabbed Bandit #1 and put him in an airplane spin. But Reckless Youth broke the hold, hitting a low blow on Hamish! Then, out of nowhere, Fire Dragon hit the Dragon Fire and pinned Hamish!
x Fire Dragon defeated Hamish after the Dragon Fire in 0:48:25 But, Bandit #1 showed little thanks for Reckless Youth's help as he and Bandit #2 beat Reckless senseless in the corner. Bandit #1 picked Reckless up on his shoulders as Bandit #2 climbed the ropes. He came off with a DDT/reverse powerbomb move dubbed the Red River Plunge.
x Bandit #2 defeated Reckless Youth in 0:53:56 But after the great move, Angus Wallace connected with a lariat and it sent Bandit #2 over the top rope like a Sammy Sosa homerun.
x Angus Wallace threw out Bandit #2 in 0:54:07 Now there were no complete teams left, and it was every man for themselves. Fire Dragon fell victim to the next elimination, after locking in a dragon sleeper on Ghost, he was struck from behind by a California Kick! Fire slumped to the mat and Ghost made an easy elimination. x Ghost threw out Fire Dragon in 0:54:33 Ghost gave Kid a glaring stare before the two separated. Meanwhile, the big man left in the ring, Angus Wallace, was struggling against the brawling style of Bandit #1 and was getting slower and slower. A side suplex put Angus on his back, and Bandit #1 locked in the Sooner Boomer and choked Angus out!
x Bandit #1 defeated Wallace after the Sooner Boomer in 0:56:17 But Bandit #1 couldn't hold on forever, and as he tried the same tactics on Ghost, he received a huge power attack that Ghost had been saving. A backdrop driver/monkey flip combo put Bandit #1 out and the Final Breath eliminated him.
x Ghost defeated Bandit #1 after the Final Breath in 0:57:36 So Ghost and California Kid were the last men left, meaning that the Untouchables of all teams would face the Forces for the tag team titles! But the Kid wasn't done yet. Having bought his time since early on, he was well rested and prepared for Ghost's fury. Ghost missed a dropkick California Kid hit him with a series of palm blows. Ghost was wobbling on the ropes and the Kid hammered him with the California Kick and covered!
x Cal Kid defeated Ghost after the California Kick in 1:01:54
The California Kid won a 16-man battle royal. Rating: *****
Not only did the top team not make the title match, but the least expected team DID! What a night Wild Ride has shaped up to be, and the final match is now in place!

USWA Wild Ride '98 Primer
The USWA has had big cards in the past, but few measure up to the impact that this show may have on the future of the alliance.
TOC Semi-Finals: Ricky Romero vs. Jack Slade These two men are no strangers to one another. In the original USWA, Slade and Romero's feud over the North American title was gruesome. Tonight, they try to do it all over again, to win the World Title. If Slade wins, it will be his third World title in the USWA, if Romero wins, it's No. 5. Either way, both men hold the edge in that department over their would-be opponents.
TOC Semi-Finals: Kodiak Marmasite vs. Donovan Glory Since filling in for the injured D-Lo Brown, Donovan Glory has won the respect of a number of fans, hoping that the 49 year old Glory could win one more title. His opposition, Kodiak Marmasite, has yet to win anything from the fans, and really doesn't care. His blatant attacks on both Brett Brown and Jack Slade haven't won him any cheers, but has earned him respect. Whoever wins this war will have a huge push going into the title fight.
USWA Lightweight Title Match: Teknos (c) vs. El Temblor Teknos has been unstoppable lately, running over Los Dragones, Lantern, and The Golden Cycloner. But after dropping a TOC match last week, he showed some new weaknesses. El Temblor could be the one to put him down. Since returning to the USWA, he's been hot, winning the Lightweight Battle Royal, then putting Birds of Prey out in one night. Whoever wins this one will be in the driver seat of the Lightweight division and could hold onto the belt for a long time.
USWA World Tag Team Title Match: The Untouchables vs. The Forces The two surprise teams from last night's battle royal could become one of the biggest matches of the night. There's no doubt that the No. 1 contenders, The Equalizers are watching. Plus The Red River Bandits and Los Dragones. The Forces also have to watch their backs for Highland Hell, while the Untouchables have no problems. While Golden Boy and California Kid aren't awesome in singles competition, they've adopted the New Age Outlaw theory. They've worked well together, but can they match the long tag history of the Forces? We'll find out.
Motown Street Fight: Neflite vs. D-Lo Brown's Mystery Wrestler There's no tougher opponent to prepare for then one who you CAN'T prepare for. Neflite took D-Lo out of the USWA for two months, and when he wanted to get even, his partner, Soul Train Jones, wouldn't do it. D-Lo has promised a surprise for both men: his mystery man is going to take BOTH men out in the same night. Neflite has a tough task ahead of him, and having D-Lo Brown near doesn't play to his favor. If Neflite walks out of here with the win, it'll put him among the USWA elites, if D-Lo wins, look for this mystery wrestler to hit the bigs.
Six-Man Grudge Match: The Forces and Jerry Kent vs. Highland Hell A battle that has raged on for over a month and a half finally comes to a close. The Forces have found a new partner in The Rebel, while Highland Hell has the experience of fighting together for years. In past battles, The Forces have been the victors, but after last week, the Highlanders have risen to the occasion and put the beat down on the Forces. Obviously, the advantage swings towards Highland Hell, as The Forces have a tag team title match as well. Will the Highlanders pull off another win? Or will The Forces overcome the odds and get the final win?
15-Man Battle Royal for the USWA North American Title Fifteen men enter the ring, only one leaves. No names have been released on combatants yet, but its rumored that Boris Molotov IS going to be there. Whoever the winner is, they will deserve it, going through fourteen other men who want the same thing you do isn't easy.
USWA World Title Match: Winner #1 vs. Winner #2 With four men trying to reach this match, any combinations are possible. Could we see Romero vs. Glory from the old indy days? Or Brett Brown vs. Jack Slade II? Kodiak vs. Romero or Glory vs. Slade. Whatever the matchup is, the prize is the biggest the USWA has to offer. It will be a Wild Ride for whoever makes it this far, and it will be a HUGE match.

The United States Wrestling Alliance presents Wild Ride '98 A flurry of pyrotechnics and fireworks exploded in mid-ring as the USWA camera pans the audience packed into the sold-out Metrodome. Tonight, they would see the final round of the TOC take place, the Motown Street Fight between Neflite and D-Lo's mystery man, the Forces taking on Highland Hell in a six-man grudge match and much more! TOC-Semi-Finals: Ricky Romero vs. Jack Slade w/ Jessica Haggar These two hated each other with a passion, hatred going back to the old USWA days. Tonight they put it all on the line for a shot at the World title. Slade started the match off hitting a side suplex/DDT combo for a two count. The burst of energy caught Romero off guard and he spent most of the opening minutes trying to get a shaky game plan to work. Sometimes the Internet is straight up magic.
Back in 1998, I was a 14-year-old BigCat, trying to throw a bunch of old Amarillo territory wrestlers into a fantasy fed that I was absolutely lost at creating. Hard not to admit that the USWA was a rather shameless attempt at copying Kirk and Joe's success with their respective feds. The difference between Kirk and the SMWA and what I was doing was pretty wide, but damn if this doesn't jog some old memories.
