Out comes Willie Mack, who says Glory was good at playing hide and seek in that match and cheap shots. Mack says that he went nearly an hour, and one on one, fresh, he could take Glory. Glory says the only thing Mack’s taking is his seat at the all you can eat buffet. But tonight, if Mack wants to make a name for himself, than it can be the man who got his ass taken to slam town by the next NAWA World Champion.

After the match, Ricochet rushes to the ring, still sore about Lashley eliminating him in the Luck of the Draw. He springboards into the ring, only Lashley catches him with ease. Lashley sets down Ricochet and spears him nearly out of his shoes! MVP is on the apron, yells “kill!” Lashley beats on Ricochet, slamming him from piller to post. He hoists Ricochet onto his shoulders, with a torture rack, and then slams Ricochet down with a backbreaker. Lashley picks up Ricochet and steps through the ropes casually. Lashley powerslams Ricochet into the ringpost! Jesus, he could have broken Ricochet’s back. Snapped him like a twig. MVP yells he should have taken the offer.

James Storm once again comes out and challenges ECIII to a match. ECIII says that the paperwork has to be filed properly for James Storm to get his match. Sederick Skyhawk got into the Gold Rush Tournament with a huge win over Robert Roode with the Brush with Greatness in 8:55. Bully Ray tried to get involved, but the Briscoe Brothers cut him off. (***)
The Briscoe Brothers brawl over all over the building with Roode and Bully. Out comes Amanda Sinclair, who announces that next week, the Briscoes will be getting their tag team title shot, but it will be a Streetfight, so Bully and Roode can’t save their titles this time. This causes them to throw a huge fit and Jay to say next week, it’s time to man up and take those belts back.
Candice LaRae taps out Courtney Rush with a cross-face submission hold to advance in the Women’s Title Contenders series in 8:07(** ½)
Candice joins Athena and Hikura Shida in two weeks. Next week, we have one more qualifier match.
The final Block B match in the Gold Rush Tournament takes place for this evening, and it is a doozy, with Prince Devitt picking up the win over Kevin Steen in a WrestleClash XII return match, hitting the Bloody Sunday on Steen in 14:44(****)
Block B standings come up. Devitt, Skyhawk, and Hardy have two points each, while Styles, Roode, and Steen start at a disadvantage with zero points.
Next week, Block A matches, with Willie Mack taking on Miles Stylish, Chris Hero meeting Brian Cage, and D’Angelo Dinero taking on Samoa Joe.
Amanda Sinclair with security is out to announce the contract signing between Mia Stylish and Johnny Glory. Mia comes out and holds up the NAWA World Title. Johnny Glory comes out, showing a video package of his greatest triumphs and saying that when he won the Luck of the Draw, that was the first step to ascending to the top. There’s a place for Mia in this company, but not with the NAWA World Title. Mia beat a couple of midgets and thinks she can hang with the men. Well, there’s no man better in this company than Johnny Glory. He reigned as the NAWA International Champion for a year, and didn’t get pinned to lose that title by the way. Still hasn’t gotten his return match, by the way, but that’s fine. When he wins the NAWA World Title, he will have a bigger prize and the ego of Miles Stylish won’t be able to resist one last shot. Glory shows us another clip from last summer, where he pinned Mia Stylish in the pre race to the top Gauntlet Match. History will repeat itself.
Mia says that Glory cheap shotted her in that match but she has no excuses. There will be no excuses when they face each other straight up at Reality Check with the belt on the line. Mia says that Glory couldn’t beat her older brother, and he can’t beat he. Glory signs the contract as does Mia. Glory says Mia’s got less than thirty days to enjoy her time in the sun, before reality comes back. Reality Check is appropriate, because when she takes on Glory, she will be blinded by his greatness. Things get intense, but not aggressive. Glory says no excuses, the better athlete will walk out with the gold. We fade to black with the hype for the NAWA World Title match being hyped.

NAWA Reality Check 3/23/2014:
Six matches will take place in the Gold Rush Tournament. Plus, the NAWA World Title is on the line, when Mia Stylish puts the belt on the line against the 2014 Luck of the Draw winner Johnny Glory, Alex Shelley puts the NAWA Cruiserweight Title on the line against the 2014 Cruiser Cup Winner Kenny Omega, and Kana puts the NAWA Women’s Title on the line one more time against Candice LaRae. Let’s get down to the ring, for a Block A contest in the Gold Rush Tournament.
D’Angelo Dinero is in a must win situation, against Willie Mack. The Mack uses his impressive power to really batter Dinero throughout the early stages of this match until Dinero comes back with a Rocker Dropper after Mack hits the corner. Dinero wears Mack down, with several rapid fire covers. Dinero picks up the pace and hits a springboard dropkick for a two count. Mack fires back and pulls out a vicious Samoan Drop for a two count. Mack misses a corner charge and Dinero pulls out the DDE. The referee is out of position and Mack kicks out just before the three. Dinero rapidly pounds Mack and covers but another two. Another DDE is avoided and Dinero walks into the Chocolate Thunder Bomb for the pin. Willie Mack pinned D’Angelo Dinero in 7:55(** ¾)
Tough break for Dinero, as barring strokes of misfortune and a perfect winning streak, he’s been mathematically eliminated from the Gold Rush Tournament. Willie Mack gets two points and jujmps up to four. Dinero is not happy after the match and Mack offers him a handshake. Dinero snubs him and leaves the ring, absolutely angry at what just happened.
Jeff Hardy and Bobby Roode are in their Block B match in the Gold Rush Tournament. Hardy sends Roode packing earlier on. Whisper in the Wind is avoided, which allows Roode to dissect Hardy, with submission holds and suplexes. Roode pulls out a stun gun for a very close nearfall. He misses an elbow off of the ropes and Hardy fights back. Twist of Fate connects to Roode. Hardy scrambles to the top rope, but Swanton Bomb hits the knees. Roode pulls out an Implant DDT for a two count. He beats up Hardy and onto the shoulders. Death Valley Bomb and Hardy reaches the ropes. Hardy fights back and goes up. Roode shoves him back and climbs on top. Superplex is countered and Roode is pushed off. Hardy hits a Swanton Bomb to Roode while he is on his hands and knees and picks up the win. Jeff Hardy pinned Bobby Roode with the Swanton Bomb in 10:22(***)
Jeff Hardy picks up the win, getting two points, bringing up his total to four points. Roode has two points and he may in fact be in the pressure cooker, but he could pull things out by winning his other matches in this tournament, depending on the results of the other matches.
Block A continues, with Miles Stylish against Chris Hero, with Miles Stylish putting the NAWA International Title on the line this time. Hero, impressive after his return, comes out the gate, to try and knock out Stylish. The crafty multi-time champion evades some of Hero’s most impressive strikes, and catches him coming off of the ropes with a tilt a whirl slam. Stylish beats down Hero and stays out of elbow’s length for him. Running dropkick pops him in the face and Stylish hits a snap suplex for a two count. Stylish wears down Hero with a Dragon Sleeper, until Hero makes it to the ropes.
The fans are ralling behind Hero. Stylish is caught with an elbow smash out of the corner and a rolling elbow smash off of the ropes, sending Stylish down to the floor. Stylish staggers into the ring at a nine count. Yakuza Kick to a kneeling Stylish and a huge senton gets a two count! Hero heads up and Tornado DDT! Hero goes for another rolling elbow smash. Stylish dodges it and picks up Hero. Las Vegas Trauma plants him and Stylish covers for the pin. Miles Stylish retains the NAWA International Title against Chris Hero in 13:36(****)
The match of the evening thus far, and Miles Stylish gets two points, with his lead of five, but Hero, in losing, is tied with Willie Mack with four points so far. We could have a return match from this encounter in the semi-finals. If Stylish had fallen in the ring after that first rolling elbow smash, we might have had a different story. Only time will tell if they fight again.
The NAWA Cruiserweight Title is on the line next, when Alex Shelley defends against Kenny Omega. Omega uses some high impact moves until Shelley slows the pace down. Shelley catches Omega with a Northern Lights Suplex for a close two count and beats on him. A Stretch Plum is applied to Omega, until he fights out and makes it to the ropes. Shelley dives off into a dropkick from Omega. Omega fires back with his high impact offense, before hitting a running lariat out of the corner. Shelley cuts off Omega and hits a Northern Lights Bomb, but he can’t keep Omega down for more than a two and a half count.
Shelley is more desperate as this match goes on, seeing the title slipping through his fingers. Sleeperhold is reversed and Omega pulls off a snap dragon suplex on Shelley. Omega climbs to the top rope and dives off. Shelley catches him with a modified gutbuster off of the ropes for a two count. Shelley goes for a brain buster. Omega fights that one off and clothesline to the back of the head. Omega backs off and hits another clothesline, before setting up Shelley. One Winged Angel Connects and Omega pins Shelly. Kenny Omega pinned Alex Shelley with the One Winged Angel to capture the NAWA Cruiserweight Title in 13:55(*** ½)
Kenny Omega holds the belt over his head, becoming the NAWA Cruiserweight Champion. Give Shelley his due, he fought tooth and nail to keep the title, but Omega was the better competitor tonight.
More Gold Rush Tournament action featured Kevin Steen taking on Sederick Skyhawk in Block B in the tournament. We see these two former NAWA World Champions go back and forth. Steen goes through some of his former tactics, brutalizng Steen. A modified shoulderbreaker gets a two count. Steen hits a running power bomb on Skyhawk for another close nearfall. Steen’s corner charge misses and Skyhawk hits a Blockbuster Neckbreaker out of the corner for a two count. Skyhawk climbs to the top rope. Steen cuts him off and a huge rolling Samoan Drop off of the ropes flattens Skyhawk. Steen took some of the brunt of that and is unable to cover quickly so Skyhawk kicks out.
Package Piledriver is fought out of by Skyhawk. Steen rag tags his opponent in the corner and charging clothesline connects. Another pair of clotheslines, a superkick and a huge running senton. Steen pulls up Skyhawk for the Package Piledriver, but he’s dead weight. Steen tries a couple more times until Skyhawk manages to catch him with a small package to score the pin. Sederick Skyhawk pinned Kevin Steen in 9:55(***)
Well played by Skyhawk, who bolts from the ring. Skyhawk lifts his hand up in victory, now at four points in Block B. Kevin Steen remains at two, with this new format Gold Rush Tournament not going for him.
Brian Cage and Samoa Joe square off in their Block A in the tournament. Both men throw punches at each other, with Cage nearly running Joe down with a clothesline in a way that few have. Cage beats on Joe in the corner and hoists up Joe over his head before slamming him down to the canvas. The Machine beats down Joe in the corner and Joe comes back. Joe hits a Saito Suplex. Cage is to his feet and Joe nails a huge cross body block to squash Cage for a two count! Joe beats on him and tries to put a Cross-Armbreaker on him, but Cage powers out and power bombs Joe with one arm out of it! Cage covers and gets a two count.
Massive torture rack further punishes Samoa Joe. Joe slids out and goes for the rear naked choke. Cage fights out so Joe shifts that into a sleeper suplex and goes into the choke once again. Cage powers out of it and those massive arms breaks Joe’s grip. Cage bulldozes Joe with a huge lariat and an overhead belly to belly suplex. Cage pumps up the fists and scoops up Joe. Huge Drill Claw drives Samoa Joe down into the mat. Cage covers and scores the pin. Brian Cage pinned Samoa Joe with the Drill Claw in 12:55(*** ½)
Samoa Joe is one of the most dominant forces in NAWA history and Cage wrecked him. He gets up to three points in Block A in the tournament, while Joe is at two. Kana holds her hand in the air, drawing boos from the fans. A replay showed that Kana might have choked Candice out and those headbutts were uncalled for, and completely dangerous. Candice has had her brains scrambled thanks to Kana and the fans are booing, but Kana laughs and points to her belt.
The NAWA World Title is on the line in the main event, when the 2014 Luck of the Draw winner Johnny Glory takes on the NAWA World Champion Mia Stylish. NAWA Glory 4/17/2014:
A moment of tribute shown to the Warrior, who wrestled as the Dark Warrior in this company, kicks off the show. One of the most unique characters in wrestling, most certainly left a memorable impression on anyone and every fan who say him. And a few weeks ago, when NAWA was on hiatus, the man passed away suddenly.
Recap of Reality Check 2014, with Mia Stylish picking up the win over Johnny Glory and several huge matches.
Tonight, Block A matches in the Gold Rush Tournament as he approach the finals of the tournament rather fast on May 25th, 2014 at Gold Rush 2014.
The newly crowned NAWA Cruiserweight Champion Kenny Omega pinned Johnny Gargano with the One Winged Angel in 9:55(***)
After the match, Alex Shelley comes out and says he underestimated Omega. It won’t happen again when they fight each other for a gold. Omega holds up the Cruiserweight Title and says any time.
Samoa Joe fell further down the Gold Rush Tournament rankings and is now eliminated from the tournament, when he loses to Willie Mack in Block A in the tournament. Willie Mack manages to catch Joe with a cross body off of the ropes after fighting from the Rear Naked Choke in 14:33(*** ½)
Willie Mack gets six points in the tournament, while Samoa Joe gets two.
A grand video package featuring Ethan Carter III and his fifteen match winning streak. Then Rockstar Spud cuts a promo talking about how ECIII cannot be stopped.
Ethan Carter III pinned Johnny Excalibur in 5:55(* ½)
James Storm runs out and demands a match with ECIII, but ECIII laughs him off and says that he beat James Storm before. But, he’ll give Storm another match against him, providing he can defeat Rockstar Spud. Storm laughs it off and says he can beat Spud with one arm tied behind his back. ECIII says fine, if Storm beats Spud with one arm tied behind his back, then Storm will get a match with ECIII. Storm says when he kicks Spud’s teeth down his throat, sorry about your damn luck. Spud protests, but ECIII tells Spud he’s the boss.
D’Angelo Dinero is aggressive for his next match with Chris Hero. Chris Hero catches Dinero flush with the rolling elbow smash and pins him in 13:05(*** ½)
Hero gets six points and is tied for third place with Miles Stylish and Willie Mack. Dinero is still dead last and Dinero throws a chair at ringside, before realizing the camera is on him.
The Young Bucks defeated the All Night Express when Matt Jackson pinned Kenny King with More Bang For Your Buck in 9:05(** ¾)
The Young Bucks are back after a tour of Japan and may have their sights set on the NAWA World Tag Team Titles and the Briscoe Brothers.
The Briscoe Brothers cut a promo, and talk about how they are scouring the world for the best tag team. Bully Ray comes in and says that Jay and Mark still owe him and Roode a return match. Once Roode wins the Gold Rush Tournament, they’re collecting. Jay says to bring it.
Miles Stylish comes down to the ring in a Triumvirate Shirt as a tribute for the late Warrior, and puts his NAWA International Title on the line against Brian Cage. Stylish outsmarts Cage and hits a bridging back suplex to hold down the Machine for a three in 12:55(****)
Stylish puts the ring, with seven points in the tournament. Stylish leads the board, with Mack and Hero at six, Cage at 3, Samoa Joe at two, and D’Angelo Dinero at dead last. We figure that it will be Stylish against Hero or Mack in the Block A finals.
Next week, Block B continues.
Mia Stylish comes out, with the NAWA World Title over her shoulder. Mia talks about how last Sunday, she beat Johnny Glory, and now she has something to say about Kana, the woman who has been talking...and out comes Johnny Glory. Glory talks some trash about Mia, commenting about Mia beat Glory in a flash pin. She doesn’t deserve that NAWA World Title, and Glory was made to be champion.
Mia asks if he’s serious and Glory says that anyone can get a fluke pin. Just like Glory did, when he kneed Mia in the face and pinned her. Glory says in both instances, the result was due to something Mia did. A broken clock is right twice a day, so we’ll see how good Mia is compared to a broken clock. Next week, Glory will show it takes more than a three second fluke to beat him. If Mia is so stunning and brave, she’ll put the NAWA World Title on the line against Johnny Glory in a Best Two out of Three Falls Match. Glory baits Mia into the match, saying that unless she wants to look every little girl in the eye, and say she’s a fraud. Mia snaps and accepts the match, Best Two out of Three Falls. She will shut Glory down for once and for. Glory says that the NAWA World Title will finally be around the waist of a man fit to be champion and not a charity case or a midget. The match is on, Johnny Glory against Mia Stylish in a Best Two out of Three Falls match. May the better competitor win. Glory and Mia go nose to nose as Glory goes off the air.

The NAWA World Title is on the line in a Best Two Out of Three Match between Johnny Glory and Mia Stylishh. The first fall is won by Mia when Glory blatantly got himself disqualified by waffling Mia in the head with a chair as she tried a dive. This set up Glory for the End of the World for the second fall. Despite being busted open by the chair, Mia valiantly fights, until Glory catches her with a brutal top-rope DDT and then a torture rack power bomb. Kana slinks down to the ringside area to check on this match. Glory springboards off the middle rope, but Kana nails Glory with a spinning back fist punch.
