Card rating: ***
Match observations:
From the Showboat Hotel in Atlantic City.
The Woods/Garcia match was a hard hitting back and forth affair, Josh Woods had to pay a high price for his victory, he was scheduled to face AJ Styles at our next event, but now it looks like we will need a replacement.
Jacob Fatu and Joey Janella was the brawl we would expect from these two, but in the end The Samoan Werewolf capitalized on a mistake from the Bad Boy to pick up the win.
Our second injury of the night didn't occur during the match, but after. The Good Brothers attacked from behind and laid out both members of Jurassic Express with the Magic Killer. Luchasaurus landed awkwardly, jamming his neck on the mat, and had to be stretchered out.
Rush made it known that he had no respect for this opponent, considering Colt Cabana a clown. After the match, Colt extended his hand to make peace, but Rush knocked it away. Even after that competitive match, Rush still disrespected Cabana!!

Rating: *** 1/2
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
From Trenton Thunder Park, Trenton NJ.
The 8-man tag was a lot of fun, with all four teams having great chemistry. Unfortunately the injury streak continued and Jack Evans needed to be taken to the hospital, good news is the injury is minor and he should be back soon.
Lee Moriarty vs QT Marshall was unexpected treat, we will see more of both competitors in the future.
Speaking of unexpected, match of the night honors would have to go to Eddie Kingston and Joey Janella vs JR Kratos and Jacob Fatu. It was a heck of a brawl and the fans were into it 100 percent.
Daniel Garcia had a big opportunity tonight, stepping up for the injured Josh Woods against AJ Styles, however his underhanded tactics cost him. Despite that, he got on the mic after and claimed he would have made Styles tap out. It is true that he had the Phenomenal One in trouble, but only because he used the referee as a shield in the first place.
Jungle Boy brought in Marko Stunt to replace the injured Luchasaurus, but that only widened the size differential between the two teams. Revenge may have to wait until the big man can return.
Once again Colt Cabana pins Rush and just like before, he extended his hand to his opponent. El Toro Blanco hesitated at first and then finally shook his hand to big reaction from the crowd, and then kicked Cabana right in the groin!!

Jacob Fatu pinned Joey Janela after the Doctor Bomb in 0:03:20.
Rating: ***
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
From The 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, PA
Daniel Garcia didn't try any funny business this time, seemingly trying to prove he could outwrestle AJ Styles. He came pretty close, but AJ capitalized on one mistake and got the W tonight.
Our main event might have lasted only three minutes, but it was brutal. Fatu immediately brought the fight to the outside and put Joey Janella through the time keeper's table with a Moonsault. Janella never could get back into the match after that; Fatu continued to hammer him with power moves until in the ring until he got the pinfall.

Card rating: ** 1/2
Match observations:
From the Showboat Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, NJ
Lee Moriarty and Daniel Garcia was tonight's sleeper hit. They almost went the distance, but with seven seconds to spare Lee Moriarty sealed the deal. It might have been match of the night, if not for the match that followed.
Marko Stunt and Jungle Boy came much closer to beating The Good Brothers this time, but Stunt is definitely the weak link in the team, falling again to the big Doc Gallows. Still, the Showboat crowd got one hell of a tag match.
The Hardys suffer their first lost in AWF, to QT Marshall and Aaron Solo, and in under 6 minutes to boot?
Kip Sabian crashed and burned tonight, attempting a springboard roundhouse kick to the outside against Rocky Romero. It would have been impressive if it hit, but this time it just lead to the Superbad Squad getting counted out.
We close tonight's event with AWF's COO Maria Kanellis-Bennett addressing the crowd, thanking them for making the Atlantic Wrestling Federation the hottest new promotion in the US. She then announces the inaugural summer tour will end with a Labor Day weekend super-card, Thunder Road. Josh Woods returns from injury to take on Daniel Garcia, Rush will face off against Colt Cabana, and it the main event, Joey Janella meets Jacob Fatu in a Steel Cage Match.

No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Cage Match: Jacob Fatu pinned Joey Janela after a powerslam in 0:06:38. Rating: *** 1/4
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
From the Asbury Park Convention Center.
Roppongi Vice and AJ Styles both racked up a win, they are no doubt at the top of their respective divisions, neither of them yet to taste defeat in AWF.
The Hardys demanded the rematch tonight, and again they lose to Aaron Solo and QT Marshall. What is about that team that causes so much trouble for the veteran Hardys?
Josh Woods returned from injury tonight and immediately took the fight to Daniel Garcia. It seemed as if Woods was unsure of his leg after his quadricep injury and tried to end the match early, Garcia must have picked up on this, because he immediately went to leg after weathering the early storm and got the submission.
Jacob Fatu comes out on top again in our main event, it might be time for Joey Janella to move on, it doesn't look like he can get the job done against the Samoan Werewolf.
Breaking news, AWF announced the creation of their first title, the Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. The four men with unblemished singles records will compete later this month in eliminator matches, AJ Styles will face Lee Moriarty and Jacob Fatu meets Eddie Kingston.

[Eliminator Match]: No-Time-Limit-Match: Jacob Fatu pinned Eddie Kingston with the Moonsault in 0:13:36. Rating: ** 1/2
Card rating: ** 3/4
Match observations:
From the SMG Sports Plex, Metuchen, NJ
Our opening contest was much more of a brawl than we would have expected giving the high flying nature of three quarters of the competitors, in the end it was fighting on the outside that did in the debuting Top Flight.
Johnny Atlantic makes a, what's the word I am looking for here; oh yes, impact, in his AWF debut.
While the Kratos/Woods match will go in the record books as a draw, Kratos left Josh Woods unconscious on the floor after delivering his Game Changer suplex. I would say Kratos got the better of that deal.
Lee Moriarty was game tonight and it almost looked like he was going to pull off the upset, but AJ Styles survived a rough first three minutes to take the advantage and put away young Moriarty.
The main event was not a pretty match, it was just two big men hitting and throwing each other. Jacob Fatu took some of Kingston's best shots without even flinching. Although it looked like the Mad King was wearing Fatu down, a missed strike put Eddie in the perfect spot for Fatu's devastating Moonsault.
Our first Heavyweight Championship match is set, The Phenomenal AJ Styles vs The Samoan Werewolf Jacob Fatu.

No-Time-Limit-Match for the vacant Atlantic Heavyweight Championship: AJ Styles defeated Jacob Fatu by disqualification in 0:11:51. Rating: ** (The Atlantic Heavyweight Championship remained vacant.) [Josef Samael interfered against AJ Styles.]
Card rating: ** 3/4
Match observations:
From the Mennen Arena, Morristown NJ
AWF COO Maria Kanellis-Bennet opened the show with a big announcement, our next event will be a two day tournament to crown the first AWF tag team champions. In the first round, the SuperBad Squad takes on the winners of tonight's qualifying match between Top Flight and the Hybrid2, Lee Moriarty and World Famous CB face Roppongi Vice, the Hardys will look to get their first win over QT Marshall and Aaron Solo, and last but not least, a grudge match, as the Good Brothers face Jungle Boy... and the returning Luchasaurus.
Our main event was filled with controversy. Jacob Fatu dominated the match from the opening and it looked like he would win another one sided bout, until the Phenomenal One made a comeback and hit the Styles Clash. Josef Samael prevented the referee from making a three count, but the damage was done; the match was firmly in AJ's hands, until Samael entered the ring and drove a spike into Styles's head directly in front of the referee. A dazed and bloody Styles was handed the belt, but he refused, saying the didn't want to be a champion that way. While his decision was admirable, he may come to regret it if AWF matchmakers put him back in the ring with the Samoan Werewolf.

[Tournament Match]: Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) defeated The Good Brothers (Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows) when Jungle Boy pinned K. Anderson after a pumphandle gutbuster in 0:13:38. Rating: **** 1/4
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
Rahway Rec Center, Rahway, New Jersey
Our first two bouts were a contrast in styles, one a fast paced, high flying affair, the second slugfest. Kingston absorbed a enormous amount of punishment in the beginning of the match, until he began to mount a comeback, but Anderson did not give in. In the end it took two of his patented Anderson Spinebusters to put the Mad King away.
It look like Top Flight was going to avenge their debut loss to the Superbad Squad by putting away Kip Sabian with the Icebreaker, but Penelope Ford distracted the referee. That led to a low blow and the Superbad Squad moving on to the semi-finals.
In what would have the biggest upset of the tournament, undefeated Roppongi Vice go out in the first round, courtesy of Rocky Romero missing a summersault plancha and getting counted out.
Again the Hardy Boys lose to QT and Solo! Maybe their days of being a top tier tag team are over.
It took several months, but Jurassic Express finally got their revenge on The Good Brothers in the best way possible, taking away their chance to be the first Atlantic Tag Team Champions.
AWF COO Maria Kanellis-Bennet addressed the Heavyweight Title controversy, AJ Styles and Jacob Fatu will meet again for the vacant belt, but before their rematch, they will each pick two partners to compete in a Captain's Rules match at Manhattan Invasion. The winning captain will get to pick the stipulations for their rematch.
As for the tag belts, our semi-finals are set, The Superbad Squad vs Cheeseburger and Lee Moriarty and Jurassic Express vs QT Marshall and Aaron Solo.

[Final Match]: No-Time-Limit-Match for the vacant Atlantic Tag Team Championship: Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) defeated Superbad Squad (Kip Sabian and Jimmy Havoc) when Jungle Boy defeated K. Sabian when K. Sabian passed out in the Snare Trap in 0:03:01. Luchasaurus suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 1 card. Rating: *** 1/4 (Jurassic Express won the Atlantic Tag Team Championship.) [Penelope Ford interfered against Jungle Boy.]
Card rating: ***
Match observations:
Rahway Rec Center, Rahway, New Jersey
A dominate performance by Jurassic Express gives them the advantage going into the finals against The Superbad Squad, whose first match was twice as long. This lead to Penelope Ford getting involved in the finals almost immediately to help Kip, unfortunately she accidentally hit her husband. Jungle Boy took advantage and finished off Sabian.
Silas Young impressed the crowd with a hard fought win against Eddie Kingston. We would then learn that The Last Real Man's Debut was not happenstance, he was named as the first partner for Team Fatu at Manhattan Invasion.
JR Kratos is a dangerous man, not only is he incredibly strong, he likes to use his power moves on the outside, as Josh Woods found out yet again. When Joseph Samael came to ringside, everyone knew who the third man for Team Fatu was. What we also found out was the stipulation Jacob Fatu picked, a street fight.
Not to be outdone, AJ Styles came to ringside and told Samael that he had his team picked. His partners are one of the best tag teams in AWF, Roppongi Vice! Samael was livid and demanded to know what stipulation Team Styles picked. The Phenomenal One played coy for a while, and then asked the crowd, would they like to see a ladder match for the Atlantic Heavyweight Title. The crowd responded with a resounding yes!

Colt Cabana pinned Rush with the Superman Pin in 0:12:16. Rating: *** 1/4
Card rating: *** 1/2
Match observations:
Manhattan Center, New York City
Josh Woods called out JR Kratos after his match, telling the crowd he won't be satisfied until he gets his revenge on The Most Feared.
After that dominate win, you would have to consider The Good Brothers for a potential title shot.
Fatu carried his team to victory after they lost the first fall, and pinned AJ Styles in the processes. It looks like our Heavyweight Title will be decided in a Street Fight.
COO Maria Kanellis-Bennett has announced the creation of AFW's third championship, the Atlantic Middleweight Championship. A tournament will begin in January to crown the first champion, but that's not all. AFW has brought in two big international stars to compete in the tournament, Taiji Ishimori and Bandido!!
Perhaps the biggest shocker of the night happened after our main event. For the third time Colt Cabana extended his hand to Rush, and this time El Toro Blanco accepted! It looks like this might be the end of their rivalry.

Match observations:
Showboat Hotel, Atlantic City NJ The first round really showed off the fast paced, hard hitting matches that the middleweight division is know for. Perhaps surprising is that both of our international entries are out in the first round. Still, expect to see more of Bandido and Ishimori in the future. Next round Daniel Garcia will face Joey Janella and tag team partners collide as World Famous CB faces Lee Moriarty.
Our main event featured two of the best tag teams in AFW, it could have gone either way, but tonight Roppongi Vice picked up the W. Rocky Romero and Trent Berretta will go on to our February supercard, Wildcard, to face The Jurassic Express for the Tag Team Titles.

From the Showboat Hotel, Atlantic City NJ
Due to the injury to Joey Janella, we won't be crowing the first middleweight champion as planned. Instead Daniel Garcia will meet Lee Moriarty for the provisional championship. The provisional champion will face Joey Janella when he is medically cleared.
It looks like there is some bad blood between Top Flight and The Superbad Squad. No surprise there, considering the low blow that knocked Top Flight out of the tag title tournament.

Match observations:
From Hard Rock Live, Atlantic City NJ Tonight's event started off with a scary moment. Bandido could not get up after taking a Death Valley Driver. Fortunately Aubrey Edwards was right on it and waved the match off. We wish a speedy recovery to Bandido.
The Top Flight/Superbad Squad match was about as close as them come. It could have gone either way, but tonight the young brothers picked up their first win against Sabian and Havok.
After his win over Colt Cabana, Johnny Atlantic threw his name in the hat for the first title shot. Considering his record, it will be hard for the championship committee to say no.
Although Roppongi Vice winning the tag team titles is in no way an upset, I don't think anyone expected the match to be a complete blow out. Jurassic Express might have to go back to the drawing board if they wish to regain their belts.
It was a long road, but we finally have a heavyweight champion. AJ Styles had to contend with constant interference from Josef Samael, but a missed body press by Fatu put him in the middle of the ring, and Styles capitalized and got the win. After being presented the championship by Maria Kanellis-Bennett, Styles thanked the fans for believing in him, and promised to be a champion that AWF will be proud of.

Match observations:
From the Rahway Rec Center, Rahway New Jersey
Arron Solo picks up an impressive win on his first match back from injury. He missed the middleweight tournament, but if he keeps this up he could contend for the belt soon.
What a debut for Fred Rosser!! Silas young didn't take his loss lying down, he cut a promo backstage challenging Rosser to a tag team match at Manhattan Mayhem. Although he didn't name his partner, he teamed with Jacob Fatu in the past. Can Rosser find anyone willing to face the Samoan Werewolf?
2point0 on the other hand did not get the W tonight. Even though the Hardy's have been on a downslide, a win over the veteran duo would have been quite the feather in the cap of the young team.
Cheeseburger just pinned the provisional middleweight champion. You could make a case that Daniel Garcia should have to defend the provisional title if Joey Janella is still not ready to compete for the belt. Wait I have just been handed a bulletin, Joey Janella is cleared to compete. He will face Daniel Garcia for the Middleweight title at Manhattan Mayhem.
I don't think a count out win will satisfy Eddie Kingston, especially since QT basically knocked himself out missing a Asia Moonsault. AJ Styles didn't even get a chance to tag in, that is how quick Johnny Atlantic ended the match. It's now official, Johnny Atlantic will challenge AJ Styles for the heavyweight championship at Manhattan Mayhem.
The Good Brothers pick up a win over their rivals in the main event and edge closer to a rematch with Roppongi Vice.

Match observations:
From the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City
Our tag team opener started out as you would expect, a fast paced high flying affair. Once the Hardys realized they could not match the speed of the younger team, they wisely isolated Jack Evans. Angelico could only help his partner so much standing in the corner, until finally his save came to late. Basic tag team wrestling tactics win again.
Given Darius Martin's protest of a fast count, we probably haven't seen the last of the Top Flight/Superbad Squad feud; and based on the result of the following match, we might be witnessing the start of a new rivalry. Although it was short, the street fight left QT Marshall a bloody mess, he might think twice next time he tries to steal a win from an opponent. We finally crowned a middleweight champion, and based on Ishimori's win tonight we have a top contender as well.
Our main event was a case of anything you can do, I can do better. AJ Styles skinned the cat, so did Johnny Atlantic. Styles kipped up, Atlantic kipped up. The match went back in forth with neither competitor having the advantage for longer than a minute. Finally the Phenomenal One stopped the challenger by taking out a leg, and Atlantic was helpless against the Styles Clash.

Match observations:
From the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia
2.0 seemed to buckle under the pressure of their match with the former champions, as they twice assaulted Bryce Remsberg for what they believed to be slow counts. Remsberg wasn't going to risk a third beating, so he DQ'd 2.0. Ironically Jurassic express seemed the most upset at the decision, seeing as how Jungle Boy was close to finishing Menard with the Snaretrap I couldn't blame them for wanting the match to continue.
The Kingston/Janella vs Garcia/Ishimori match was a seesaw battle, with each team coming close to ending the match many times if not for last minute saves. Ishimori called out Janella after the match, claiming he needed to team with a heavyweight to win and re-iterating he wants to challenge Janella for the Middleweight title. Janella accepted the match, on the condition that it take place in his hometown of Asbury Park.
Fred Rosser didn't get to enjoy his victory against Silas Young, he was attacked by Jacob Fatu immediately after the bell. Colt Cabana came down to make the save, only to fall victim to a returning JR Kratos, it was a three on two beatdown, until AJ Styles came down with a chair and ran off the trio.
Join us in three weeks as we return to the Asbury Park Convention Center for Boardwalk Bedlam, which features a double main event. First Top Flight and the Superbad Squad settle their issues in a 2 out of 3 falls match, then the Bad Boy Joey Janella takes on Bone Soldier, Taiji Ishimori for the Middleweight championship.

Match observations:
From the Asbury Park Convention Center.
The Hardys can not catch a break. They have dropped four straight matches to QT Marshall and Arron Solo. What is it about that team that causes the Hardys so much trouble?
Looks like AJ Styles and Jacob Fatu picked up right where they left off, and it seems like Jacob Fatu's alliance with Kratos and Young is now a full time unit. Could we see more join in the months to come?
Did our semi-main event settle the beef between these two teams, seeing as how the deciding fall was between the non legal men?
The Convention Center couldn't hold Ishimori and Janella. Even after the main event was called off they still continued to to brawl, ending up on the boardwalk before security could get them separated. These two will meet again sooner rather than later.

Match observations:
From the Trenton CYO
Looks like Bandido came back from his injury a bit too soon. That powerbomb to the turnbuckle knocked him out. Fortunately it did not reaggravate the neck injury.
Don't sleep on CW Anderson, he has some big wins over the likes of Rocky Romero, Eddie Kingston, and now Dalton Castle.
I don't think anybody expected Matt Menard to powerbomb Luchasaurus, least of all the half man half dinosaur!! Even Daddy Magic looked surprised, then again, he always has kind of a shocked look on his face.
Our main event had to be a first, I have never seen a match end with a facebite!! Considering it was a fast paced and hard hitting match, I would bet fatigue had as much to do with the finish as the moves did.
We will be returning to the Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City for our one year anniversary show, and it will be a big one. Two title matches will serve as our main events. Taiji Ishimori vs Joey Janella for the Middleweight title and AJ Styles vs Jacob Fatu for the Heavyweight championship.

From The Hard Rock Live in Atlantic City
Our show started with COO Maria Kanellis-Bennett announcing the dates for AWF's Summer Showdown tour. At least that was the plan until she was interrupted by Arron Solo and QT Marshall. They took the mic and claimed they had been overlooked in AWF. They beat the legendary Hardy Brothers four times, they should be the number one contenders to Roppongi Vice. Maria, despite being mad at the interruption, agrees they have a point, and will give them a title shot during the tour.

Match observations:
From the RWJBarnabas Health Arena, Tom's River NJ
Fred Rosser wasn't at all happy with his win tonight. He called out JR Kratos and the rest of Contra unit for their dirty tactics and then demanded a no DQ rematch with Kratos. Rosser has a lot of guts, not many would challenge a man known for suplexing people outside the ring to a no DQ match.
Johnny Atlantic looks to be on his way to a rematch with AJ Styles, and Ace Austin could be the next challenger for Joey Janella as well.
Roppongi Vice closed out our event by addressing the crowd, telling them they never wanted to face these knuckleheads tonight. They wanted to fight the very best tag teams. Since their dance card is now free, they a laid out a challenge to the Hardy Boys.

AJ Styles and Fred Rosser both pick up wins against their upcoming opponents, will this momentum carry into their big matches? We will just have to wait and see!
