TNAW Saturday Night Showdown - 16.05.2015
Welcome to another edition of Showdown! Tonight, the main event will be a tag team match featuring Alissa Flash and Heidi Lovelace against Sexi Star and Rose Martinez. But first, Renee Young tries to get some explanation from Rose Martinez on why she betrayed Alissa Flash at Queens of the Ring.
Rose explains herself First of all, Rose wants to apologize to Alissa. She knows it was a shitty thing of her to do, but she realized that SexiNation was right. She needed to let go and embrace her Latin heritage. Or more precisely, the latin heritage of her boyfriend. Mercedes didn’t want to do that, but Rose wanted to. With the help of SexiNation, she is now more confident and sure of herself than ever before. Renee wants to know if they accept her, a non-latina, in SexiNation. Rose says that the Latin heritage is more about how you feel, who you feel connected to, than where you’re from or who your parents are. She knows Alissa is out for revenge, but she urges her to rethink that. Let it go and move on. Rating: **¾
Dixie books Sara in big match Sara Del Rey enters Dixie’s office. Dixie again thanks Sara for taking responsibility for Havock. She hopes SDR gets back into ring shape quickly, as she will be facing Havock at Caged Fury in June. Sara says she’s ready, but also wants to know why Dixie is so hellbent on holding Jessica back. Dixie says that it hasn’t nothing to do with looks, but everything to do with attitude. She no-showed several shows before Christmas. She is an asset, so it was forgiven, but it isn’t a behaviour that should be rewarded with big opportunities. Sara responds that she has a big opportunity now - namely her! Rating: ***
Ashley Flair w/RD Evans vs Nicole Matthews The Four Horsewomen is slowly building up their victories. Even though young Tessa Blanchard fell to Sexi Star last week, RD is matching them carefully and intelligently to build up their steam and momentum. A slightly down-on-her-luck Nicole Matthews was a perfect opponent for Ashley tonight. The Canadian’s power gave Ashley some initial trouble, but when RD started to fire up the Nature Boy’s daughter with his encouraging words, the gifted athlete struck back and hit the Natural Selection following a hard kick to the guts.
Ashley Flair defeated Nicole Matthews with the Natural Selection in 04:46 Rating: **½
Alissa doesn’t accept Rose’s explanation Lenny Leonard stood by with Alissa Flash. “Future Legend” said that she was still trying to recover from the betrayal by Rose, and that she is sad to see her being brainwashed by SexiNation. She has talked to Mercedes, and she is deeply disappointed in her. Alissa was looking forward to tonight, when she finally could get her hands on Rose. Rating: **
Angelina Love vs Taylor Made Love is finding her stride in the singles division after Madison Rayne’s exit, and while Taylor caused some problems to the overconfident Angelina in the early goings, Love quickly used her experience and her bag of tricks to take control. And even if the Botox Injection should have been enough to knock Taylor senseless. She still put her feet on the ropes for added leverage.
Angelina Love defeated Taylor Made with the Botox Injection in 04:04 Rating: **¾
Candice tries to sway the referee While Angelina Love was celebrating, Candice LeRae ran out and tried to convince the ref that he should restart the match due to Angelina’s feet being on the ropes. The ref pointed out that he didn’t see anything, and couldn’t reverse his decision based on Candice’s request. Angelina got really pissed at this, and told Candice to mind her own business. She was the most honorable wrestler alive, and if Candice didn’t accept that, it was her own problem. Rating: *¼
Allysin Kay vs Jessica Havock “The Havock Death Machine” has repeatedly accused TNAW management of holding her back on purpose, and Dixie Carter has to some extent agreed. But is it wrong of Dixie to punish someone who acted so unprofessionally as Jessica? Either way, it was Allysin Kay who had to pay for it tonight. Havock could have finished this after a minute or two, but she continued to beat up Kay, breaking up her own pin attempts until she tired of her games and finished with the Harlot Slayer.
Jessica Havock defeated Allysin Kay with the Harlot Slayer in 03:43 Rating: **¼
Havock gets an interesting offer Lenny Leonard was waiting for J-Hav on the other side of the entrance curtain. He asked her about her upcoming match against Sara Del Rey at Caged Fury. Havock scoffed, saying that it was too long. TNAW management were stalling so that Sara could get back in top shape. It didn’t matter though. She would destroy DelRey on her way to becoming the new TNAW World Champion. Saraya Knight suddenly shows up, telling Havock that she had an idea for how she could get her hands on Sara earlier than that. Saraya told Lenny to “piss off” so that she could talk to Jessica. Rating: ****
The Four Horsewomen A brief video of the Four Horsewomen in action played. After, RD Evans and Nattie Neidhart said that the Horsewomen would dominate the wrestling industry like their male namesakes did for so many years. Right now, SexiNation controlled most of the titles and ran this joint like it was their own. Not for long. Nattie said that she finally felt at home, and that what has eluded her so far in her career (the TNAW World Title), was within grasp. RD told SexiNation to prepare for the war that was coming. Rating: ***
Heidi Lovelace & Alissa Flash vs Rose Martinez & Sexi Star An interesting match-up to say the least. Alissa Flash desperately wants to get her hands on the traitorous Rose, while Heidi wants to one-up Sexi one week prior to their TV Title rematch. Rose tried to avoid Alissa as much as possible, choosing to tangle with Heidi when possible, or tag out to Sexi Star when necessary. Sexi has no qualms about fighting anyone, and even though she is cocky and arrogant as hell, she generally stays within the ref’s good graces. Alissa not so much in this match, as she needed to break a few tag rules in order to get her hands on Rose. Nothing good could come of this, and when she left her post at the apron in order to brawl with Martinez on the outside, a weary Heidi became easy pickings for Sexi Star, who picked up a psychologically important victory over Lovelace.
SexiNation (Martinez & Star) defeated Lovelace & Flash when Star pinned Lovleace after the Swinging Fisherman Suplex in 08:28 Rating: *
Show rating: **¼
Show notes: For somebody who just got abandoned by her tag team partner, Alissa sure as heck didn’t treat her new partner very well. She apologized and admitted through social media that her temper cost them the match, but I don’t know how much good that does Heidi. Next week, she will be facing Sexi Star for the TV Title. We have also learned that Dixie Carter has some big news regarding Caged Fury, so stay tuned next week!

TNAW Saturday Night Showdown - 23.05.2015
Big announcement Last week, Dixie Carter promised a big announcement. Tonight, the show opened with the president standing in the ring. She first said that she had two announcements tonight. The first was that in our main event of the evening, Jessica Havock would team up with Saraya Knight against Serena and Sara Del Rey. She then went on to the big announcement, which were War Games! At Caged Fury, June 14th, SexiNation would face the Four Horsewomen in a 5-on-5 classic War Games match. That meant that both teams had to recruit one or two extra partners for the big match. Rating: ¾*
Mary Dobson vs Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans RD sat briefly with the announce team during the match, talking about how excited he was for the War Games match. He said that he still hoped Alissa Flash would become the Fourth Horsewomen, and that her experience in the War Games cage would be invaluable in three weeks. As for the fifth member - well, there are plenty of people pissed off at SexiNation, so he didn’t think that would be an issue. When I say he sat briefly, it was because Nattie didn’t have too many difficulties dismantling the offense and defense of Mary Dobson, before locking on the Sharpshooter.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Mary Dobson with the Sharpshooter in 01:57 Rating: **¾
Jessica Havock wants to add a stipulation Havock barges into Dixie’s office, telling her that destroying Sara Del Rey tonight is enough for her. She doesn’t need to face her again at Caged Fury. She wants a title match! And as far as she can see, there are no title matches booked for Caged Fury. Dixie says that she cannot promise her a title match, but to make things a little bit interesting, she states that whoever picks up the pinfall or submission in the main event, gets a title match. If Serena wins, she can choose. Havock seems moderately pleased. Rating: **
Fourth Horsewoman Backstage, RD Evans is holding a press conference. Flanked by Tessa Blanchard and Ashley Flair, he announces (to nobody’s surprise) Alissa Flash as the fourth horsewomen. Alissa accepts a Four Horsewomen t-shirt, stating that she is proud to have been asked and courted by RD, and that going after SexiNation was one of the major selling points for her. She looks forward to going into the cage at Caged Fury, getting TNAW rid of SexiNation and then going for the gold. Renee Young comments that this war will be unlike anything seen so far in TNAW. Rating: ***¼
Donna Lee vs Kimberly Kimberly is clearly in an unhinged state of mind, and her reckless offensive against Donna Lee almost cost her the victory early on, as the rookie tried several pinfall flash maneuvers to get the quick win. Her aggressive nature turned the match in the Kimberly’s favor, but just as she was about to hit the Shuttle 151, Tara made her return to TNAW, attacking Kimberly!
Kimberly defeated Donna Lee via disqualification in 03:15 Rating: ***
Tara demolishes Kimberly Kimberly never recovered from the assault, and Tara was able to land several punches to Kimberly’s head before she pushed her away and tried to escape. Tara was on her in a second, shouting that she tried to put her on the shelf on purpose with her vicious head attacks at My Bloody Valentine, and that she shouldn’t have shown up at her home. Tara throws Kimberly into the guardrail, stomping away on her until security guards came down to prevent her from doing more harm. The crowd was cheering on Tara all along, happy to see the grizzled veteran back in business. Rating: *¼
SexiNation’s response to War Games Backstage, Lenny Leonard stood by with SexiNation, wanting to hear their response to War Games and to the fact that Alissa Flash was the fourth Horsewomen. Ivelisse said that it didn’t matter if Flash was in or not. The facts are that half of the horsewomen, while being second or third generation superstars, have less than three years in the business. Even Rose, the most inexperienced of SexiNation, has more than that. The rest have 10+ years experience. Sarita said the the Horsewomen have picked a fight they can impossibly win. They will bring shame on their male namesakes, bring shame on their families and run away and hide when they are destroyed in that cage. Rating: ¾*
Heidi Lovelace vs Sexi Star (c) for the TNAW TV Title Sexi Star pinned Heidi last week in a tag match, and as she took the advantage in this match, you could easily see that Lovelace doubted her own chances of winning. Ivelissa and Sarita standing on the outside, cheering on for their team-mate, throwing insults at Heidi and tripping her up when the ref was distracted, didn’t help either. But the crowd was firmly behind Heidi, and emboldened by the support, she rallied a rapid counter-offensive that took Sexi unawares. All of a sudden, Heidi hit the Shining Wizard! Before she capitalize however, Sarita pulled Sexi out of the ring, carrying her all the way to the back. Heidi tried to run after her, but was met with a clothesline from Ivelisse. Heidi might have won the match, but the belt stays with SexiNation.
Heidi Lovelace defeated SexiStar via countout in 03:48 Rating: **** (Sexi Star retained the TNAW TV Title in her 1st defense)
On the morale of cheating A sitdown interview with Angelina Love and Candice LeRae airs. Renee Young wants to talk to Angelina about Candice’s accusations of cheating. Love says she’s flabbergasted about Candice’s need to stick her nose in her business. She has never, ever been caught cheating, therefore she has never cheated. Candice argues with the old saying “if a tree falls in the forest and nobody hears it, does it make any sound?” Candice says that it’s not only that she cheats in order to win, she cheats even though she doesn’t need to. Angelina counters that this is wrestling, it’s not a friendly game of checkers. You do what you have to do to get to the top. Candice points out that she has beaten both Saraya Knight and Kimberly, two ex-champions, without cheating. Angelina, rightfully so, points out that if Tara attacking Kimberly behind the referee’s back is not cheating, then what is? Renee cuts the interview there, saying that there isn’t anymore time, but that an agreement on cheating could not be reached at this time. Rating: ***
Sara Del Rey & Serena vs Saraya Knight & Jessica Havock Our main event of the evening saw four of the top stars in TNAW duke it out. Jessica’s one and only desire right now is to get her hands on the TNAW World Title, but it appears she has to go through Sara Del Rey to get it. An opening was made by Dixie Carter tonight though, as the winner of this match would get a title shot. And while Saraya and Jessica were on the same page in the beginning (both having enemies on the other side of the ring), the stipulation did lead to some interesting things later on, as Jessica broke up Saraya’s pin attempt following a sitout power bomb. Serena almost capitalized on this by rolling up Knight. Sara and Serena’s partnership worked out a lot better, as Serena is a fighting champion ready to fight anyone, and Sara might have felt that she is not ready for a title match just yet. Still, when all hell broke loose between Knight and Havock, it was Sara who was on the right place at the right time, rolling up Saraya while Serena took out Jessica with the spear.
Sara Del Rey & Serena defeated Saraya Knight & Jessica Havock when Del Rey hit an O’Connor Roll on Knight in 10:06 Rating: **¾
Show rating: **½
Show notes: Things didn’t go according to Jessica’s plan, and now Sara Del Rey is the top contender! We have received no word about when this will take place, or whether or not the match between Havock and Del Rey for Caged Fury is still on. All we know, is that in three weeks, SexiNation and The Four Horsewomen meet in the cage!

Behind the scenes
- Winter has left TNAW. She will focus on her acting career and doing some indy appearances in California. - Rebecca Knox has also resigned from TNAW. The Irish wrestler is still injured, and has been vocal about TNAW’s practice about cutting injured wrestler’s wage in half - Al Snow and Dave Prazak has also left TNAW. Al will still be an agent for TNA, while Dave will focus on Shimmer. - The new announcer will be Josh Matthews - Ray and Leon have been let go by TNAW. Even though their matches were quite good, booking has struggled finding a proper place for them. Bringing two jobbers over from Japan was (understandably) deemed financial un-wise. - Indy wrestlers Marti Belle and Thea Trinidad has been hired. As they are of Dominican and Puerto Rican descent, it is speculated that they will be part of SexiNation - The deal with Destination America has been prolonged. The slot is worse than it was now, airing 02 AM on Sunday nights. The new contract is for 8 months - It is rumored that Sexi Star and Ivelisse are not on speaking terms. Who actually leads SexiNation is unclear for viewers as well, and this has sprinkled over into backstage politics. Sexi Star is a big star in Mexico, but her lack of English makes her a poor leader, many feels. Ivelisse is a strong personality in the locker room and has actually been wrestling for longer than Sexi. - Pictures of Alissa Flash using what is clearly marijuana has flourished on the web as of late. TNAW has been silent about it, and Flash has deleted her social media profiles due to this. It is unknown what this does to her status in the company. - Due to the uncertain future for both TNA and sister company TNAW, talent are only receiving short-term contracts for now. - The following talent have re-signed their contracts: Saraya Knight, Nattie Neidhart, Mary Dobson, as well as road agents Jerry Lynn and Hector Guerrero.

Saturday Night Showdown - 30.05.2015
Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown. We wish our new announcer, Josh Matthews, welcome, and hope he will make a great duo with Renee Young. We also wish Dave Prazak good luck in his future endeavors.
Dixie sets the stage for tonight We open the show in Dixie Carter’s office, where the TNAW president is having a talk with Josh Matthews. Josh hypes the War Games that will take place in two weeks time, before giving Dixie Carter the word. Dixie says that as per last week’s stipulation, Sara Del Rey now has earned a title shot. This will take place tonight! Also, next week, Heidi Lovelace will have a rematch against Sexi Star for the TV Title, as the way she lost last week was not fair at all. Rating: ***
Heidi happy to be given new chance Chasity Taylor stands by with Heidi Lovelace, who is thrilled at being given another chance. She says that last week, she beat Sexi Star from pillar to post, and if she hadn’t been saved by her teammates, it would have been her with the TV Title gold around her waist at this time. Rating: ***
Donna Lee vs Tara After having been sidelined with a concussion for three months, Tara is finally back in the ring! Even though she has just been given a clean bill of health, she has made her presence known lately, costing Kimberly a match or two in her plan for revenge on her former partner. It’s strange, as many fans who felt Tara was bullying Kimberly around when they were partners, are now rooting for the veteran against the crazy Kimberly. Anyone who purposefully goes out to injure someone like Kimberly did, is prone to get the crowd against them. Anyway, Tara is back and picks up a quick win in this one.
Tara defeated Donna Lee with the Widow’s Peak in 01:40 Rating: **
SexiNation is shocked Backstage, Sarita approaches SexiStar, telling her that she just heard that Heidi Lovelace is getting a title shot next week. She just cannot understand why that no-good loser is getting another opportunity. SexiStar responds in Spanish. The viewer has subtitles, and can easily read that Sexi doesn’t care. She underestimated her last time, she wouldn’t do so again. And once Heidi Lovelace is out of the picture, they can focus on War Games. Sarita nods sagely, and points out that next week, they would unveil their fifth member - the final piece of the puzzle. Rating: **¾
Athena vs Candice LeRae What started out as a friendly contest of catch, turned uglier when they started blasting each other with kicks and forearms. Candice went for the Crotch Plex early, but Athena blocked it and hit a mule kick. A short minute later, Candice’s cross body from the top rope caught both Athena and the referee! This brought out Angelina Love, who slid a chair to Candice. Love urged her to use it, telling her that she would never get anywhere unless she used any means necessary to win. Candice yelled back at Angelina that she would never do something like this. She pushed the chair away, but turned around right into a superkick from Athena. “The Wrestling Goddess” climbed up top, coming down with the O-Face on Candice for the win.
Athena defeated Candice LeRae with the O-Turn in 04:24 Rating: **¼
The Dollhouse is coming A video airs of two wrestlers, the half-Korean Mia Yim and the Dominican Marti Belle. They are dressed in schoolgirl outfits, pink and bright blue hair and exaggerated make-up. They look like someone from a Japanese anime movie. They dance around to some strange, Japanese synth music, telling the viewers that The Dollhouse is coming. Rating: ***¼
Made in Sin & Nicole Matthews vs The IV Horsewomen w/RD Evans RD is putting three of his girls through a test here tonight. They are all brilliant wrestlers in ther own sense, but how are they working together? Tessa, Nattie and Ashley used quick tags to show SexiNation that their team-work are down to a notch. Tessa’s youthful exuberance, Nattie’s valuable experience and Ashley’s raw athleticism being a brilliant combination. We know that the fourth member will be Alissa Flash, have won both the War Games matches she has been involved in (2010 and 2012), actually being the one with the submission in both occasions! Anyone could have finished this one, but it was Flair who got the win with the Natural Selection.
The IV Horsewomen defeated Made in Sin & Nicole Matthews when Ashley Flair pinned Taylor Made after the Natural Selection in 06:56 Rating: ***
Blame Dixie! Backstage, Chasity Taylor stands by with Saraya Knight and Jessica Havock, asking them (carefully) if they felt that they’d squandered their chances at a title shot by getting at each other’s throats last week. Saraya cuts her off, saying that it’s all Dixie Carter’s fault. The thing is, both Jessia and Saraya are winners. And when you put a prize like a TNAW title match in front of them, they don’t always think straight. Jessica says they have talked it over, and warns Dixie, Sara and Serena that this isn’t over by a longshot. Rating: **
Sara Del Rey vs Serena (c) for the TNAW World Title The contestants shook hands before the match, eager to see who the better woman was. Sara had the experience edge on Serena, but her long absence from the ring could be a factor. Her opponents so far has not been the caliber of Serena, and even though she did pick up a victory in the tag match last week, this time she was on her own. This was an even-fought battle between two respected wrestlers. The momentum shifte back and forth, with both women getting closer and closer to hitting their finishers. Serena wriggled free of the Butterfly suplex, Sara got out of harm’s way when Serena charged her with the spear. As the match wore on, it wasn’t Sara who tired, but Serena. The champ is not out of shape, not at all, but Sara’s cardio and general physically shape is just insane. It was at this time Jessica Havock made her way out to the ring. She got on the apron, but was knocked down by Serena and admonished by the referee. At the same time, Saraya ran in and hit Sara in the head with a chair. Serena obviously knew something was amiss, and while she struggled briefly with it, she made the cover.
Serena defeated Sara Del Rey via pinfall in 09:28 Rating: *½ (Serena retained the TNAW World Title in her 6th title defense)
Havock and Knight not done J-Hav and Saraya were not done, however, as they attacked Serena post-match, pummeling her to the ground. Knight went out for the chair she had discarded, but they had obviously forgotten about Sara Del Rey, who grabbed the chair from her hands, using it on Saraya! Havock was on DelRey immediately, grabbing her throat and choke-slamming her brutally to the ground. She then picked up the champion, chokeslamming her on top of Del Rey. She grabbed the World Title, holding it up high as the show went off air. Rating: **¼
Show rating: **¼
Show notes: The world title picture is heating up, with four strong women in the mix. So far, no world title match has been set for Caged Fury. Will Dixie Carter address the issue next week? Next week will also see the TV Title rematch between Sexi Star and Heidi Lovelace. See you then!

TNAW Showdown - 06.06.2015
Dixie announces World Title Match At the start of the show, TNAW president Dixie Carter is out in the ring with Serena and Sara Del Rey, adressing what took place last week between them. Dixie points out that it’s true, no World Title match has been set for Caged Fury. She calls out Saraya Knight and Jessica Havock. As they come out, Saraya grabs a microphone, telling Dixie that her games are over. No matter what trick she tries to pull tonight, everyone knows what the right decision is. She demands that Dixie puts her against Serena so that the World Title will be back with the Knight family. Havock pulls the mic away, saying she couldn’t agree more. There is only one solution. Give the Havock Death Machine her well-deserved title shot. Serena is next to speak, saying that she doesn’t mind fighting them both - or all three for that matter - including Sara. Dixie states that she feels TNAW owes the Knight family after the accident with Britani. However, Saraya has had plenty of opportunities to defeat Serena. So this time, will be her last. At Caged Fury, Serena will defend her title against Saraya Knight in a Cage Match! Jessica is not pleased. Dixie says that Havock’s match with Del Rey goes as planned. Rating: ***
Alissa Flash vs Thea Trinidad Next up, Sarita introduces the world to the fifth and newest member of SexiNation, her cousin Thea Trinidad! A lithe, almost tiny Puerto Rican woman comes out. Her debut was not the easiest one, going up against the former world champion Alissa Flash. In a preview of War Games, Thea’s flexibility and agility was clearly demonstrated, but even with Sarita pushing her forward, Alissa pulled home the win with the Air Raid Crash. RD Evans smiled a wide grin to Sarita, telling her that this was what would happen at Caged Fury.
Alissa Flash defeated Thea Trinidad with the Air Raid Crash in 02:42 Rating: **
Angelina Love disgusted with Candice Chasity Taylor stands by with Angelina Love, who is disgusted with Candice’s lack of ambition. Last week, she lost her match due to her misguided ethical principles. The interview is interrupted by Candice, who tells Love she would rather lose fairly than win unfairly. When Love states that honesty doesn’t pay off in this sport, Candice challenge Angelina to a match at Caged Fury. There, she will see that her cheating ways will not help her overcome LeRae’s fair fighting spirit. Rating: *
The fifth piece to the puzzle Backstage, Heidi is stretching to prepare for her TV Title shot when RD Evans comes by. RD asks if she’s ready to tackle Sexi tonight, and comments that they seem to have common enemies. He then asks her if she would like to be their fifth member at War Games. Heidi is flattered, and asks why he doesn’t ask one of his other clients. When RD replies ‘who?’, Heidi must point out the fact that Athena and Melanie Cruise are still contracted to him, aren’t they? RD says that it wouldn’t be fair to the other to just ask one, and besides, Heidi has a better motivation. Heidi accepts, saying that she would be honored to fight besides the Four Horsewomen. Rating: ****
Rose Martinez vs Sara Del Rey SexiNation needs to get ready for War Games, and in a hurry. Thea Trinidad lost earlier, and Rose Martinez was thrown pillar to post by Sara Del Rey here tonight. Sara is a long time friend of Rose’s sister-in-law, Mercedes, and Rose’s betrayal of Mercedes principles could have been a motivational booster for Del Rey. Sara has her own match at Caged Fury to think about, and just when she had hit the Royal Butterfly on Rose, Jessica Havock shows up with a mic, taunting Sara and pointing out that once again, Sara has an easy warm-up match, while Jessica gets nothing. The heated exchange between Sara and Jessica was enough for Rose to recover and hit a schoolgirl, using the ropes as leverage to pull out a surprising victory!
Rose Martinez defeated Sara Del Rey with a schoolgirl in 04:20 Rating: ***
Heidi Lovelace vs Sexi Star (c) for the TNAW TV Title Sexi Star had to bail on their last match, but this time she took Heidi more seriously, working over her arm in the early parts of the mach. Heidi winning the TV Title from Madison Rayne was the biggest win of her career, and she would like nothing more than to regain her title. It didn’t take long for Ivelisse and Sarita to make their way down to the ring though, throwing out insults in Spanish to the challenger. As Sexi almost got herself disqualified by boot choking Heidi, Ivelisse jumped up on the apron to question the referee forcing Sexi away, calling him a pig for laying his hands on Sexi. Meanwhile, Sarita slid the TV Title in to Sexi, who knocked out Heidi with it, retaining.
Sexi Star defeated Heidi Lovelace via pinfall in 04:48 Rating: *** (Sexi Star retained the TV Title in her 2nd defense)
Post-match war SexiNation continued putting the boots to poor Heidi, even bringing in Thea Trinidad and Rose Martinez to really make this a one-way affair. Out came the cavalry, RD Evans leading the Four Horsewomen down to the ring. SexiNation tried to fend them off, but Nattie Neidhart got into the ring, clubbing down Sarita and sending Thea through the ropes where she was tossed into the ring steps by Flash. Ashley took down Ivelisse with a huge boot to the face, and at the end, Nattie put Sexi Star in the Sharpshooter - really driving home a message to SexiNation, eight days before War Games. Rating: ****
Kimberly vs Melanie Cruise Kimberly fought an uphill battle against the larger Cruise here. Not only that, she was constantly on the lookout for any signs of her hated enemy, Tara. When it didn’t look like she would show up, Kimberly gouged an eye to get the upper hand. Her great mobility and confidence allowed her dominate the bigger opponent, but was brought down with a spinebuster. Melanie tried to get Kimberly up on her shoulders for the burning hammer, but Kimberly wriggled free, hoisting Mel up for the Shuttle 151.
Kimberly defeated Melanie Cruise with the Shuttle 151 in 06:12 Rating: ***¾
Tara’s challenge She didn’t show up during the match, but Tara came out afterward with a microphone. She congratulated her on the win, saying it isn’t easy defeating a triple crown winner. However, Melanie isn’t the only triple crown winner around here. She is not only a triple crown winner, she is the most decorated wrestler in TNAW history. And if it hadn’t been for Kimberly, she would still be tag champion. Tara said that at Caged Fury, there will be a cage set up for two of the matches. She was just in Dixie Carter’s office requesting that the cage could be set up earlier - so that the two of them would also do battle in the steel cage. In eight days, Kimberly and Tara will settle this once and for all - in a cage match! Rating: *’¼
Serena ready The show ends with a video, Josh Matthews hyping Caged Fury by rattling a cage in a warehouse, pointing out the weight and material used to build this monstrosity. The world champion is with him, saying that she felt the cage up close at Through the Gates of Hell last year - but in eight days, it will close in on her and her hated rival, Saraya Knight. In eight days, it will be no escape, and Saraya will feel the spear! Rating: ***
Show rating: ***
Show notes: With five big matches already revealed, Caged Fury is lining up to be one of the most brutal iPPVs in TNAW history. Three of the matches will take place on the inside of the dreaded steel cage.
Next week, SexiNation will try to gain the psychological advantage on the Horsewomen when Sarita & Ivelisse face Tessa Blanchard and Alissa Flash!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 13.06.2015
Dixie announces main event We are only 24 hours away from Caged Fury! In Dixie Carter’s office, the TNA president and Josh Matthews are excitedly talking about War Games and the two other matches taking place in the confines of the cage. Dixie then announces tonight’s main event, a six-woman tag-team match pitting Sara Del Rey, Serena & Tara against Jessica Havock, Kimberly and Saraya Knight. What a main event! Rating: ****
The Horsewomen are ready for war Backstage, the Four Horsewomen are donning war paint and preparing for their tag team title match tonight. RD introduces them one by one. Alissa Flash - the Horsewomen of Pestilence. She will send forth plagues and diseases to ravage and mar the beautiful faces of SexiNation. Tessa Blanchard is the Horsewomen of Death, ferrying the lost souls of SexiNation over to the land of the dead. Nattie Neidhart is the Horsewomen of Famine. She will keep her foes in the Sharpshooter until they die of starvation. And lastly, there is Ashley Flair, the Horsewomen of War. As the daughter of a wrestling God, she will lead the Horsewomen into battle, destroying their enemies. The Four Horsewomen rides again! Rating: ***
Angelina Love vs Mary Dobson Before the match, Angelina promised everyone, especially Candice LeRae, that she wouldn’t cheat. It must have been hard for Love, as she didn’t really find her stride in this one, allowing Dobson to have some pretty serious offensive. Love went for the eyes in order to gain the advantage, did a little choking and fish-hooking before hitting the Botox Injection for the win.
Angelina Love defeated Mary Dobson with the Botox Injection in 02:45 Rating: *½
Stipulations are set for their match tomorrow Candice LeRae came out after the match, pointing out to Angelina that she did cheat. A lot, actually. Love said that she didn’t cheat, it was a gray area. She got warnings, didn’t she? Love said she was sick and tired of Candice’s accusations. She proposed a stipulation. When Angelina beat her tomorrow, she had to wear a sign saying “I’m stupid” for a month. If Candice managed to pull of the upset of a century, Angelina would wear a sign saying “I’m a cheater”. Candice looks at Angelina and says that this stipulation belongs in the kindergarten. No signs. The looser must TATTOO those words on their body. The crowd roared as Angelina was taken back. Seeing the smirk on Candice’s face, Angelina agrees. Rating: ***
Heidi wants more one shot! Chasity Taylor stands by with Heidi Lovelace, who is pretty clear on the fact that she wants another shot at the TV Title. She can handle losing, but it must be in a fair match. She is looking to get some revenge on Sexi Star tomorrow, but win or lose War Games, the title shot was hers. Rating: ***
SexiNation ready for war Backstage, Ivelisse rallies her troops, both for tonight’s title match and for tomorrow’s big War Games battle. She says they don’t need to paint themselves in the faces and call themselves by biblical names. They are the proud defenders of the Latina heritage. She is “The Huntress” Ivelisse, always looking for new prey and trophies. Sarita is “The Dark Angel”, a feline beauty tormenting her victims. Sexi Star is the most famous wrestler in Mexico, she is a direct descendant from Aztec warriors of ancient times. Thea Trinidad is the Divine Fly, a proof that diamonds come in small packages. Rose Martinez is the Perfect Convert. Someone who saw the light and joined the winning side. Sarita claps her tag-team title, telling the Horsewomen to bring it. Rating: ¾*
Alissa Flash & Tessa Blanchard vs Sarita & Ivelisse (c’s) for the TNAW Tag Team Titles Flash and Blanchard were the chosen ones from the Horsewomen. Pestilence and War against Dark Angel and the Huntress. Flash held the tag titles for eight months with Sara Del Rey a couple of years back, and still holds the record for longest reign and most title defenses. Tessa is still really green, and their team-work still needs some work. The champions were able to isolate Blanchard early on, punishing her while Alissa desperately reached for the tag. The champions were clever, distracting the referee so that she didn’t see the tag, forcing Flash back on the apron despite protests. On another occasion, Ivelisse pulled down Flash from the apron, leaving Tessa stranded in the ring. RD tried to put a stop to this, but ended up with a boot to his face from Ivelisse. Finally, Flash was able to get in on the action, cleaning house. RD got a little carried away though, getting up on the apron and pushing his girls forward. The ref was distracted by this, enough so that Sarita entered the ring illegally and hit Flash with a lung blower. Ivelisse picked her up again and hit the Disdain DDT for the win.
Sarita & Ivelisse defeated Flash & Blanchard when Ivelisse pinned Flash after the Disdain in 06:12 Rating: ***½ (Sarita & Ivelisse retained the titles in their 2nd title defense)
Sexi Star feels enough is enough Chasity Taylor has a chat with the TNAW TV Champion Sexi Star, impressing the viewers by asking questions in Spanish. Sexi Star feels that Heidi has gotten enough chances. She has failed twice now. How many chances can she get? Sexi says that the only way she will accept a rematch, is if Heidi makes her submit tomorrow. Which will never happen. She is a proud descendant of Aztec warriors, a midwest peasant girl like Heidi will never make her quit. Rating: ***
Sara Del Rey, Serena & Tara vs Jessica Havock, Kimberly & Saraya Knight Next to the war between the Horsewomen and SexiNation, these are the three most heated rivalries put together into one match. It came to no surprise that the referee lost control of this one pretty early, as the three rival pairs brawled all over the ring and ringside area in the first half of the match, Tara even tossing Kimberly over the announce table. The match eventually ended up inside of the ring, Saraya beating down on Serena telling her that tomorrow night, her reign would end. Jessica Havock blind-tagged Saraya in order to get in some beating herself, something the matriarch of British wrestling didn’t take too kindly. As Knight and Havock’s alliance broke down again, Serena caught Havock with a spear. An unawares Saraya was caught from behind by Sara Del Rey, who rolled her up for the win. Tara and Kimberly were never really in the ring, and had started round two of their ringside brawling at this point.
SDR, Serena & Tara defeated Havock, Kimberly & Knight when Del Rey pinned Knight after an O’Connor Roll in 09:40 Rating: ****
Brawl continues These six women didn’t exactly shake hands after the match and go home. Tara and Kimberly continued their brawling, fighting through the crowd and into the locker room area. Havock managed to turn the brawl against Serena, bringing her out to the ringside area and chokeslamming the champion through the announce table! Inside the ring, SDR hit the Royal Butterfly on Saraya and then went after Havock, hitting her with the piledriver on the outside! People were left lying everywhere! The only one still standing was Sara Del Rey. Tomorrow night is Caged Fury, will anyone be able to compete? Rating: **
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: If you’re not ready for Caged Fury now, you will never be. Here is the card: The Four Horsewomen vs SexiNation Two of the biggest and most powerful stables in TNAW history collide in a War Games match. But is this the end of their war, or just the beginning?
Saraya Knight vs Serena Knight has tried several times to capture the world title, but so far has failed. Tomorrow is her last chance, inside the steel cage. Will she get her revenge for her daughter, or will the reign of Serena continue.
Tara vs Kimberly A proper grudge match if there ever was one. Their successful tag-team broke up when the animosity between them reached its zenit. Earlier this year, Kimberly tried to end Tara’s career by giving her a devastating concussion. They will also meet in the cage tomorrow.
Jessica Havock vs Sara Del Rey Jessica Havock feels she has been held outside the title picture because of politics, and has tried on her own to get her hands on Serena. Dixie Carter has not allowed her to go for the belt, but has instead put her up against the veteran Del Rey. If Havock wins tomorrow, can Dixie stop Havock from going after the world title?
Candice LeRae vs Angelina Love - Tattoo Match Big stakes here as well. If Love wins, Candice must tattoo “I’m stupid” on her body. But if Candice wins, Love must tattoo “I’m a cheater” on hers. A tattoo artist will be at hand to make sure this takes place.
See you tomorrow!

TNAW - Caged Fury - 14.06.2015
Welcome to Caged Fury! Tonight is all about the cage. In addition to the War Games match, two other matches will be fought within the confines of the steel cage.
Complaints being made Backstage, Athena and Melanie Cruise have cornered RD Evans in the hallway. They say that enough is enough - he is clearly incapable of handling their careers. RD tries to calm them, saying that he is still committed to their careers. In fact, he has arranged a match for them tonight - against the new team, The Dollhouse. Athena points out that a memo of this would have been nice. RD says that it’s still time to change and get ready.
Angelina Love vs Candice LeRae - Tattoo Match The stakes were high in this one, as the loser had to expose their body to an unwanted tattoo. All coming from the cheating shenanigans of Angelina Love, and the fact that she claims that Candice will never get anywhere without resorting to shady means. The ref was fully aware of Angelina’s tricks, warning her several times after hair pulls and eye gougings. At one point, the referee even threatened a dq the next time Love used an open fist. When LeRae kicked out of the Botox Injection, Love threw a fit, almost tearing the referee’s shirt off in frustration. Just as the referee was about to dq Love, LeRae recovered and hit the Crotch Plex from behind. The referee did a rather fast count, giving LeRae the victory. Now, Love has to tattoo “Cheater” on her body!
Candice LeRae defeated Angelina Love after a Crotch Plex in 06:51 Rating: *¾
The Dollhouse are ready Chasity Taylor stands by with the debuting Dollhouse. The team of Marti Belle and Mia Yim are dressed as Japanese school girls, and as a strange and melodious song plays in the background, the new team assures Taylor that they’re ready to make an impact in TNAW. It’s their house now. The Dollhouse. And it’s playtime They then giggle as they make their way to the ring. Rating: **
Athena & Melanie Cruise vs The Dollhouse Both Athena and Cruise scratched their head in wonderment as they witnessed the surreal team of the Dollhouse make their way to the ring. The grin on Belle and Yim’s face as they attacked or were attacked were disturbing to say the least. Mia Yim is a known quantity here in TNAW, and her muscular legs can really do some damage when they hit. At one point, she and Athena engaged in a kicking contests, bruising each other’s legs before hitting a high kick simultaneously, knocking each other out. A while later, Yim connected with a dive to the outside, wiping out both her partner and her opponents. While their teamwork was top notch, Athena and Cruise are a little more experienced, and when it became clear that Belle had injured herself during the early goings of the match, Yim was struggling against the numbers. Cruise took her down with the Burning hammer to finish this up.
Athena & Cruise defeated The Dollhouse when Cruise hit Yim with the Burning Hammer in 09:04 Rating: ***¾ (Marti Belle will be out for 7 months with injured ankle ligaments)
Jessica Havock vs Sara Del Rey This was the last match of the night without a cage to surround the ring. Havock tore into Del Rey, eager to prove to Dixie Carter that she belonged in the title picture. Del Rey responded in kind, wanting to prove to herself and the fans that she had one more run left in her. The result was a brutal brawl that went to the outside more than once, both women aware of the countout danger, breaking off melee in order to break off the referee’s count. At one point, Sara hit the Royal Butterfly on the outside and rolled back in. While it looked like she wanted to go for the countout victory, her winning instinct got the better of her, and she went outside to get Havock back inside the ring. A minute or two later, Havock performed the Demon Drop on the outside, but also she decided against the countout victory. She wanted to win in style. Back in the ring, she pounded on Del Rey, who responded with a backfist. Setting up for the piledriver, but it was reversed with a backdrop. Del Rey right back up, but Havock grabbed her by the throat, chokeslamming her with the Harlot Slayer. What a match!
Jessica Havock defeated Sara Del Rey with the Harlot Slayer in 11:38 Rating: ****
Angelina Love tattooed Backstage, a temporary tattoo parlor had been set up for Angelina Love. A sullen Angelina sat down in the chair. Chasity Taylor said that they couldn’t physically force her to be tattooed, but Dixie Carter had said that if she didn’t go through with it, her contract would be annulled. Love tells Taylor that she is a woman of her word. She lies down on her stomach, and tells the tattoo artist to do the tattoo on her left calf. As the man starts his work, Angelina smiles, telling Chasity that this doesn’t prove anything. At the end of 2015, she will be a champion, while Candice LeRae will still be a nobody. Rating: ****½
Kimberly vs Tara in a Cage Match After a small intermission, the cage was set up. Kimberly didn’t even wait until Tara was inside before attacking her, kicking the door open in her face and taking the match to the outside. Tara turned the attack, beating Kimberly all around the ring before finally throwing her into the cage. The two punched, brawled and fought inside the steel cage, raking each other head’s in the steel and slamming each other down. Kimberly just happened to walk by when Tara claimed she could win the tag titles with anybody, and now, eight months, one tag title reign and one concussion later, they were tearing it down. Submission, both legal and otherwise from both women were not enough to take it home. Moonsault from Tara and Tornado DDT from Kimberly just got a two-count. The crazy-eyed Kimberly trying to climb the cage, only to be pulled down by Tara. The veteran tried escaping the cage herself, but Kimberly held her back, getting her on her shoulders and hitting the Shuttle 151. Kimberly did not go for the cover, but climbed up the cage. Tara went after her, but was kicked in the head, falling down from the ropes. Kimberly climbed over the ropes, making her way down to the other side and winning the match.
Kimberly defeated Tara by escaping the cage in 14:17 Rating: **½
War Games As RD Evans led his team out, everyone knew this was going to be one spectacular War Games match. The Latina crew of SexiNation came next, Ivelisse smug and confident, starting the match against Nattie Neidhart. The two engaged in a thrilling technical contest, neither one getting the upper hand until their two minutes were up. RD lost the coin toss, and Rose Martinez got in to make it 2-1. Rose and Ivelisse went mercilessly after Nattie, targeting her arm. Without her arm, she would never be able to get a good lock on the Sharpshooter. Nattie’s woes lasted for nearly two minutes before Ashley Flair got in. The daughter of the famous Nature Boy evened the odds, taking Rose down with the Natural Selection and big booting Ivelisse out of her mind. Soon, she and Neidhart were tossing SexiNation across the ring, Ivelisse even bouncing off of the walls of the steel cage.
Another two minutes were up, and Sexi Star came in to make it 3 on 2 again. The masked luchadora got a sleeper on Nattie from behind, cutting off her oxygen and making her watch as Rose and Ivelisse attacked Flair. As the time went out, two of the Horsewomen were in submission holds. The match couldn’t end now, but it was obvious that their strength was sapped. In came Heidi Lovelace, ducking Rose’s attempt at stopping her, and going straight for Sexi Star. SexiNation ganged up on Heidi, but forgot about the Horsewomen, who grabbed them from behind, throwing them through the ropes and into the steel. Sarita was next, adding yet another submission specialist to the mix. The Horsewomen fought valiantly, not wanting to be punished more. They succeeded quite well even when outnumbered, and when Tessa Blanchard came in, they took over. Blanchard even hit the Slingshot Suplex on Sarita, a move which had won the match under normal circumstances. Thea Trinidad was the final entrant for SexiNation, flying off the top rope and wiping out two Horsewomen with a cross body. Alissa Flash was the final entrant. The ring was quite choked now, a submission almost impossibly to cinch in without it being broken up by an ally of the recipient. Still, as three of the Horsewomen had their quarry backed up in a corner, and Sexi Star hit the Shining Wizard on Star in the middle of the ring, Alissa Flash put her old tag team partner Rose Martinez in the Kondo Clutch. Without any clear way of getting out of it, Rose yielded to the pain, tapping out. Alissa Flash has now three victories in the history of War Games here in TNAW. Amazing!
The Four Horsewomen (Flair, Flash, Neidhart & Blanchard) & Heidi Lovelace defeated SexiNation (Star, Ivelisse, Sarita, Martinez & Trinidad) in a 10-women War Games match when Flash forced Martinez to submit to the Kondo Clutch in 20:49 Rating: ***¾
Saraya Knight vs Serena (c) in a Cage Match for the TNAW World Title The cage stayed up for one more match. A mother hellbent on revenge for her injured daughter against the champion that won’t give up her title, no matter how many times the British wrestling matriarch tries. Knight’s tactic was easy. Injure Serena’s back so that she wouldn’t be able to withstand the Bridal Rocking Chair. Serena’s? She just wanted to Spear Saraya back to Europe. This was an amazing match that had everything. Sound technical wrestling, brutal punches and stiff kicks, power moves and counters, submission’s and near-falls. Serena refused to give up, even when put in the Rocking Chair, amazing the crowd and surprising Saraya when she actually managed to turn around in it, breaking the hold. Saraya knew this was her last shot, and even when hit by the Spear, Saraya managed to reach the ropes. Saraya tried to escape the cage early on, but was brought down by a superplex. Serena was crotched when she tried it. The champ then missed a spear, the champ going through the ropes and into the cage. The sitout power bomb that came after almost gave the win to Knight. A short while later, after Knight having kicked out of another Spear, Serena tried climbing the ropes in desperation. She took too long, and Knight grabbed her, crashing Serena down with a sitout power bomb from the top rope. And just like that, Saraya Knight is YOUR new TNAW World Champion!
Saraya Knight defeated Serena with a sitout power bomb in 15:30 Rating: ****½ (Saraya Knight won the TNAW World Title)
No rest for the wicked As the referee opened the door to get Saraya the title belt, Jessica Havock ran in, attacking the beaten Saraya where she lay. She hoisted Saraya up, dropping her with the Harlot Slayer. Serena tried to get to Havock, but was met with a spinebuster, before she as well was brought down with the chokeslam. The referee didn’t dare stay in the ring, and as Havock screamed for them to get inside with HER belt, the referee’s simply shook their heads as Caged Fury came to a close. Rating: *¾
Show rating: ***¼
Show notes: Saraya Knight is the new TNAW World Champion. At an age of 44, this makes Saraya by far the oldest wrestler to have ever held that prestigious title. Of course, her daughter is the youngest, so the Knight family has really made their mark on TNAW. The Four Horsewomen came out victorious in the War Games match, and only the future can tell if this is the last we saw of the war between the two factions - or if it’s just getting started.
Until next time!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 20.06.2015
Victory celebration Tonight’s show opens with pictures from last Sunday’s Caged Fury, where The Four Horsewomen defeated SexiNation in the War Games match. We also see a montage of RD Evans taking his four women out on a night on the town after the match. All the women dressed up in evening gowns, Ashley Flair sticking her head up through the sunroof, shouting “To be the woman, you got to beat the woman!” Inside the limo, RD brags of Alissa Flash being the “War Queen” of TNAW, winning three War Games matches. We see lots of fans wanting to take selfies with Tessa and Nattie, Nattie even putting one fan into the Sharpshooter for show. RD states that this is just the beginning for The Horsewomen. At the next Showdown (tonight), Nattie Neidhart will challenge Sexi Star for the TV Title. And she will win it. Cause that’s how the Horsewomen roll. Rating: **¾
Ashley Flair vs Taylor Made If Flair suffered any ill effects from the partying last Sunday, she didn’t show it. The long-legged gazelle did let Taylor Made get into the match more than she would have wanted though, hitting a spinning neckbreaker for two. Knowing that the win against SexiNation would mean less if any of the Horsewomen stumbled now, the Horsewomen of War upped her game, sending Taylor to her knees with a series of kicks before hitting her finisher.
Ashley Flair defeated Taylor Made with the Natural Selection in 04:38 Rating: **½
SexiNation bickering If the mood was upbeat in the Horsewomen camp, it was anything but in SexiNation’s locker room, six days removed from Caged Fury. All the women were shouting at each other in Spanish, poor Rose Martinez trying desperately to apprehend what they were talking about. The blame went all around, and even if she couldn’t understand the words, the looks sent her way told Rose everything she wanted to know. Ivelisse tried to cool down the gang, saying that this was just a minor setback. Sarita chimed in, saying that they still hold two of the titles, and that Sexi Star will need all the backup she can have tonight. Sexi yelled at Sarita for this, telling her that she could handle Nattie. Sarita apologized for how that came out, but everyone had to do their job to make sure the power stayed with SexiNation. Rating: ***½
Mary Dobson vs Mia Yim It was unfortunate for Mia that her tag team partner Marti Belle got injured in her very first match here in TNAW, but Mia is ready to tear up the singles ranks. She was still sporting the blue hair and the Japanese school-girl outfit, but her demeanor was less play and more action. Yim’s strongest assets are her high-flying skills and her stiff kicks. Tonight, it was a kick right to the temple of Dobson that felled her.
Mia Yim defeated Mary Dobson with a spin kick in 03:10 Rating: ***¾
Mia on her future here On her way out, Mia was stopped by Chasity Taylor, who asked her what the future holds for Mia Yim. Mia says that the injury to Marti was a bitch, but that she was ready to fight in the singles division. Soon, everyone would know that this was HER house. She then giggled, before walking out. Rating: *½
Donna Lee vs Jessica Havock Jessica Havcok may have won a big victory over Sara Del Rey at Caged Fury, but The Havock Death Machine is not happy until she can hold the TNAW World Title over her head. Donna Lee was no match for Jessica tonight, falling to the Harlot Slayer after a small, token offensive.
Jessica Havock defeated Donna Lee with the Harlot Slayer in 01:42 Rating: *¾
Saraya taunting Havock Saraya Knight’s music played, and the new TNAW world champion came out with the TNAW World Title. Knight asked Havock if it was this she wanted? She told Havock to get in line and be patient. She had been waiting for this title for a long, long time, and she didn’t intend to give it up before she got to old to wrestle. So if Havock wants it, she needs to pry it from Saraya’s cold, dead hands. Jessica said that could be arranged, sliding out of the ring and starting brawling with Saraya in the aisle. Knight laid out Havock with a belt shot, but before she could do more, Serena charged her from behind, tackling her and pummeling her to the ground. Knight pushed Serena off of her, retreating through the crowd as Havock and Serena gazed angrily at her. Rating: ****
Dixie sets next week’s main event Josh Matthews is with Dixie Carter, talking excitedly about Caged Fury, of course still available on VOD. Josh says that Dixie has a major announcement to make about next week’s main event. Dixie says that while Kimberly DID defeat Tara at Caged Fury, it didn’t sit right with her that she won by getting away from her opponent. Next week, free on television, Kimberly will go one on one against Tara again - in a Last Woman Standing match! Rating: **
Kimberly not afraid to fail Chasity Taylor stands by with Kimberly, asking her what she feels about Dixie booking another match against Tara. Kimberly laughs, saying that Dixie Carter will do anything to vex her, but this, this doesn’t vex her at all. She is looking forward to facing Tara again, and promises to leave her lying in her own blood. Out of nowhere, Tara attacks Kimberly, driving her back with fists and elbows, sending her crashing into the wall. She upends a table, pushing it over Kimberly. Tara tells Chasity that next week, it will be Kimberly who won’t get up from the 10 count. Rating: *½
Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans vs Sexi Star (c) for the TNAW TV Title Even though Sexi made it abundantly clear that she didn’t need any help, Ivelisse sauntered down to the ring early on. She made her way over to the announce table, where RD were sitting, saying that SexiNation need to have a representative down here as well. Inside the ring, the psychological game was on between Star and Neidhart, both going for multiple rest holds and submissions in an attempt to wear the opponent down. Star had done her homework, scurrying out of harm’s way when Nattie tried for the Sharpshooter. The intensity increased as suplexes and slams were thrown around, and when Ivelisse wanted the referee’s attention, Sarita came running down the ramp. Tessa Blanchard wasn’t far behind though, and the distraction attempt was foiled. Soon, the entire ringside area was filled with members from the two factions tearing it up. Inside the ring, the TV champion missed a cross-body, crashing hard to the ground. Nattie pounced on her, locking in the Sharpshooter in the middle of the ring. Ivelisse tried to reach her, but RD Evans stopped her, holding her back. Ivelisse had to watch as Sexi Star tapped out to the dreaded finisher. Nattie Neidhart is the NEW TV Champion!
Nattie Neidhart w/RD Evans defeated Sexi Star with the Sharpshooter in 10:10 Rating: **¾ (Nattie Neidhart won the TV Title for the 3rd time)
Show rating: **½
Show notes: The woes of SexiNation continues, as Nattie Neidhart is victorious and brings home the TV Title to the Horsewomen. This is Neidhart’s third reign as TV Champion. The battle for the TNAW World Title has turned into a three-way dance by the looks of it. How long can the aging Knight hold on to the prestigious title? Don’t miss out next week, as Tara and Kimberly face each other in a Last Woman Standing match and Alissa Flash meets her old partner, Rose Martinz.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 27.06.2015
Saraya addresses her challengers The show opens with Saraya Knight in the ring. The TNAW World Champion is gloating about how the Knight Dynasty has dominated the business for the last years, and how she will continue her daughter’s legacy. She then calls out Serena and Jessica Havock. Knight tells them that she is going home to England for a well-deserved summer vacation now. In the meantime, they can figure out who’s going to be challenging her when she returns. Havock refuses to accept this, telling Knight that they’re not done. Serena also chimes in, saying that she has a rematch clause, and does not have to go through Havock or anyone else in order to get a rematch. Saraya smiles condescendingly, saying that the petty concerns of non-champions are of little concern to her. She promises to send them a postcard from England. Rating: *¼
Athena vs Nicole Matthews Athena and Melanie Cruise continue to rack up victories, even though they are clearly being forgotten by their agent RD Evans. They picked up a nice victory at Caged Fury and tonight, Athena picked up the win with a superkick.
Athena defeated Nicole Matthews with a superkick in 01:58 Rating: *
Ivelisse rallies the troops Backstage, the sullen gathering of SexiNation is roused by an inspiring speech from Ivelisse. “The Huntress” says that they might have lost a title and the War Games match, but they are not broken. They will rise again, defeating the Four Horsewomen and preventing an apocalypse. Tonight, Rose Martinez will defeat Alissa Flash, finally elevating herself above her former partner. SexiNation slowly but surely get their spirits up, and all let out a war cry at the end. Rating: *¼
Nattie on TV Title win Backstage, Chasity Taylor interviews Nattie Neidhart about her title victory. Nattie beams with pride, saying that the pieces are falling together now, and it’s only a matter of time before SexiNation falls and the IV Horsewomen are considered the best, nay, the only group that matters in TNAW. Suddenly, Sexi Star appears, grabbing Nattie from behind in a hammerlock/choke submission. She whispers something in Spanish and licks Nattie’s neck before releasing the hold and walking away. Chasity asks Nattie what she said, but Nattie shakes her head, saying that she doesn’t speak Spanish. Rating: *
Allysin Kay vs Sarita SexiNation’s big test tonight is clearly Rose taking on Alissa, but Sarita had to do her part as well. “Dark Angel” has a vast repertoire of deadly moves she can inflict on her opponent, and is one of the most gifted submission wrestlers in TNAW. Kay felt that tonight as she tapped out.
Sarita defeated Allysin Kay when Kay submitted to the Double Chickenwing submission in 02:22 Rating: ***¾
Sitdown interview with Tara A video interview with Josh Matthews and Tara airs. Tara expresses disappointment in losing to Kimberly at Caged Fury, and vows to correct that in their Last Woman Standing match. When Josh asks whether or not age and injuries are taking their toll on Tara, the former triple world champion gets clearly annoyed, saying that she still has some gas left in the tank and intends to accomplish a lot more here before lacing up her boots. She still hasn’t lost the Tag Titles in a match, and will consider taking on a partner if she can find someone a little more sane than Kimberly. Rating: **¼
Alissa Flash vs Rose Martinez Hot on the heels of Flash submitting Rose at Caged Fury came this one-on-one match between the two former partners. Rose betraying Flash to SexiNation at Queens of the Ring didn’t sit too well with Flash, who laid into Rose at the get go. The match spilled to the outside, where Rose did get the upper hand briefly, knocking Flash into the ring steps. As the ref checked on Flash, Rose went to retrieve a chair. RD Evans went over to stop her, and Rose smashed the chair into the apron, tossing it to RD and fell down, faking the chair shot. The referee turned around and saw RD holding the chair, calling for the bell. RD tried to explain, but the ref was adamant. Rose might not have out-wrestled Alissa this time around, but she did outsmart her.
Rose Martinez defeated Alissa Flash via DQ in 04:39 Rating: *¼
Main event for next show set In Dixie’s office, Renee Young and the president are talking about tonight’s exciting main event. Dixie then announces that next week, SexiNation will defend their tag-team titles against the team of Tessa Blanchard and Ashley Flair. The Horsewomen will have a chance to take another title away from SexiNation! Rating: ****
How’s the tattoo? Backstage, Chasity Taylor chats with Angelina Love, asking her how the new tattoo feels. Love shows the “Cheater” tattoo that she had to do after losing to Candice LeRae at Caged Fury. Love says that being branded like this is inhuman. What will people believe? What will her boyfriend and family think? The word has different connotations than using all necessary means to win a wrestling match. She will have it forever, all because she couldn’t beat a no-good loser like LeRae. Love reminds Chasity about her promise. Before 2015 is over, she will hold a championship. Rating: ****
Kimberly vs Tara - Last Woman Standing Match One way or another, the war between these two was ending tonight. Ever since winning the tag team titles in October of last year, these two have been on a collision course. They miraculously retained the belts four times before imploding and being stripped of the titles. Tara then suffered a concussion at the vicious hands of Kimberly at My Bloody Valentine, but the veteran has yet to get her revenge. In a Last Woman Standing match, your opponent needs to stay down for the 10-count. That’s easier said than done, at least when you hate your foe so much that you really just want to pound on her a little more - not wait for a 10 count! Dixie Carter had also ruled this a no dq match, and chairs and canes soon were introduced - Tara caneing Kimberly until her back was red with welts. Kimberly smashed a chair over Tara’s head, but she got back up at 8. Soon, they were dueling with chairs, breaking both of them in the process. Both were extremely weary at this point, and Tara hit the Widow’s Peak. While Kimberly tried to get up, Tara grabbed the mic, blaming Kimberly for the break up of the tag team. All Tara ever wanted was to teach Kimberly about respect and humility. As Kimberly used Tara as a climbing to get up, she low-blowed Tara. Not once, not twice, but multiple times. She lifted Tara up on her shoulders and hit the Shuttle 151. Kimberly grabbed the mic, telling Tara that she is full of lies. Tara doesn’t play well with others, and all she ever wanted out of their tag title reign was to stroke her own ego. And now that she suffered an unfortunate stinger in their match at My Bloody Valentine, she was suddenly the bad guy? As Tara tried getting up, Kimberly grabbed a broken chair, cracking it open over Tara’s skull. The powerful blow was enough - Tara never did get up.
Kimberly defeated Tara in a Last Woman Standing match after 12:19 Rating: *½

Show notes: Kimberly is victorious over Tara once again, bringing up the question on whether or not Tara is able to keep up with the new generation of wrestlers coming up here in TNAW. Don’t forget next week, as SexiNation defends their titles against The IV Horsewomen!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 04.07.2015
Jessica demands to know where Saraya is Dixie Carter is on the phone with someone, telling them to tune into tonight’s show, as it will be the last in the old “format”. Before she gets the chance to elaborate more, Jessica Havock barges into her office, asking her where Saraya Knight is. Dixie says that Knight is back in London, as Saraya herself said last week. Jessica asks Dixie if she’s for real? She steals the World Title and goes away? Dixie says that it’s all in her new contract, and that she has to take care of her daughter. Dixie guarantees Havock that she will be considered for the top contendership. Rating: *
Kimberly on her big win last week We see clips from Kimberly defeating Tara in the Last Woman Standing match last week. We then go to Chasity Taylor standing by with Kimberly. The crazy-eyed Kimberly said that nobody thought she could do it, but she has no defeated Tara in a streetfight (technically she lost, but whatever), a cage match and a Last Woman Standing match. She was the future of TNAW - Tara was the past. Dinosaurs like her should retire before they got extinct. Kimberly laughed, saying that if any more dinosaurs came in her way, she would handle them. Rating: *¾
Donna Lee vs Heidi Lovelace Heidi’s bid to regain the TV Title seems to have been on hold for now, and with Nattie Neidhart the new champion, Lovelace’s revenge on Sexi Star must in any case go on without the added bonus of the gold. Even though she was on the winning side at War Games, Heidi needs to bounce back after her title loss, and she needed the win tonight. Lee put up a good fight as usual, but has problems finishing her matches. Heidi connects with the Shining Wizard, and that was all she wrote.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Donna Lee with the Shining Wizard in 02:48 Rating: *
What’s up with the licking? Chasity Taylor stands by with Nattie Neidhart, and she wants to know about what took place last week with Sexi Star. Nattie says she has no idea, but it is obvious that SexiNation try to get inside her head. Just then, Sexi Star appears again, trying to lick Nattie’s neck but gets an elbow instead. Nattie shouts at her to stop with the creepy sexual innuendo, she has a husband! The masked luchadora fights, slapping Nattie’s mouth and licking her fingers afterwards. They were throwing punches at each other when security guards came to hold them apart. Rating: ***
Candice LeRae vs Mia Yim We haven’t seen much to Candice since she defeated Angelina Love at Caged Fury, but tonight she was in action against Mia Yim. Yim came back as a tag-team wrestler, but the untimely injury to Marti Belle put a stop to that plan. These two have many things in common. They’re both young and up-and-coming wrestlers with a great athletic ability and a fighting spirit. Mia used the ropes and corner as springboards to attack Candice at all angles, while the Canadian showed her vast array of suplexes and neck-/backbreakers. In the end, it was a missed flying senton from Mia that set her up for the Crotch-Plex. LeRae continues her winning ways.
Candice LeRae defeated Mia Yim with the Crotch-Plex in 05:02 Rating: ***¼
Horsewomen ready for one more championship Backstage, the Four Horsewomen are preparing for another chapter in their way against SexiNation. RD Evans says there’s one title down, two to go. Ashley Flair says that her father might have been known for his many world titles, but he was also a tag team champions at several occasions. As the daughter of the legendary one, she will follow in his footsteps. She lets out a “whoo” as Nattie Neidhart and Tessa Blanchard enter, Nattie out of her mind over the crazy Sexi Star. RD says they will take care of Star, but tonight, they’re bringin home more gold. Rating: ***¼
Sitdown with Sara Del Rey A pre-taped interview with Josh Matthews talking with Sara Del Rey airs. Josh wants to discuss Caged Fury, more specifically her loss to Jessica Havock. Del Rey doesn’t want to lie or be creative with the truth. She lost fair and square. Havock is younger, she is stronger and she is bigger. This does not mean she’s a better wrestler, it just means she won that one match. Sara assures Josh that this is not the end of Sara, but she realizes she needs to train harder than ever to get where she wants. And whoever steps into the ring with her next, will find out the hard way how much Sara wants, no, need, to get back on top. Rating: ***¾
Havock and Serena As Serena is preparing for her match, Jessica Havock approaches her. Serena is hesitant, but Havock assures her she just wants to talk. Havock says that she doesn’t care that Serena has a contractual claim to a title match. Havock has a claim of a might telling everyone she is the top contender. Serena says nobody denies her abilities or right to be in the top. As far as Serena is concerned, she can have a title match whenever she wants, as long as she gets her. There is nothing preventing two top contenders, is it? Rating: **¾
Angelina Love vs Serena It’s strange to see Serena out there without the TNAW World Title. She almost seemed naked without it. Angelina Love was her usual grumpy self, consistently looking at the “Cheater” brand on her forearm. Still, she knew that a win over the former TNAW World Champion could propel her up the rankings and for someone who has vowed to hold Championsip gold before the end of the year, this match mattered. Still, the tattoo must be gnawing on her. After hitting the Botox Injection, she kept staring at it, not going for the pinfall. Well, Serena recovered and hit the Spear for the 3-count instead. Love needs to get over that tattoo!
Serena defeated Angelina Love with the Spear in 03:40 Rating: **½
The IV Horsewomen w/RD Evans vs SexiNation (c) for the TNAW Tag Team Titles Their entire crew was down here to see their friends and allies battle for the tag team titles. Sexi Star was caught staring at Nattie on a couple of occasions, and Josh and Renee didn’t know if it was out of lust or hate. Or both! Inside the ring, Sarita and Ivelisse managed to isolate the rookie Blanchard, keeping Flair out on the apron for much of the match. The champions’ MMA training allowed them to wear out Tessa’s joint with a multitude of maneuvers. A brief scuffle ensued on the outside when Thea Trinidad and Rose Martinez pulled down Ashley when it looked like Tessa could make the tag. Flash and Nattie fought back and managed to take Thea and Rose out of the equation by escorting them out. Sexi Star could have joined in, but she stayed out of it, much to the announcer’s confusion. In the ring, Ashley got the tag, hitting the champions with clotheslines and dropkicks. She went up high for a moonsault, but landed awkwardly and hurt her ankle. Sarita was all over it, kicking it and wrenching it. She tossed Ashley to the outside, and while she distracted the referee, Sexi Star grabbed hold of it and smashed it into the ring post. Tessa tried getting her back inside the ring, but Ivelisse struck from behind, DDTing her into the apron. It’s not the noblest of wins, but a win is a win.
SexiNation (Ivelisse & Sarita) defeated IV Horsewomen (Blanchard & Flair) via countout in 10:15 Rating: **¾
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: This was the last Showdown with the “old” format. A new and hopefully improved format will debut next week at 02 AM EST here on Destination America. And don’t forget Tropic Tumble, coming to you from Tampa, Florida August 9th. Don’t forget to buy tickets for that show!

Behind the scenes!
TNAWs new format There has been a lot of talk lately about the new format of TNAW. It is believed that TNAW will adopt a style more akin to Lucha Underground, where the backstage segments are filmed with multiple cameras and will be more like scenes from TV shows. The segments will not be alluded to on the screen, and will be for the viewers pleasure, not the live crowd. Lucha Underground has had great success with this one, and TNA will now do a test run of the format with TNAW before trying it on their main product.
Big new signings! To usher in this new format, TNAW has invested in none other than AJ Lee! The former WWE Diva has been out of the business for a short while now, but has agreed to come back for a short term contract. It is believed she will not actually wrestle, but be a manager or some sort of personality. She will definitely bring some star power to the product, but it will drain the TNAW coffers significantly, as she is by far the best paid star on the show. Velvet Sky also confirmed on Twitter that she will be returning to TNAW after her no-compete clause with WWE has run out. She was never a big hit at WWE, and never made it out of NXT. Australian stars Evie and Jessie McKay have also signed contracts with TNAW.
.. and some left Sexi Star cancelled her agreement with TNAW. She was rumored to not have liked the current storyline, being heel and working together with Ivelisse. This puts a big dent in the huge storyline between the Horsewomen and SexiNation, and it is unclear if anyone will fill Sexi’s role. Taylor Made and Marti Belle have also left TNAW. Belle is another victim of TNAWs strict rules for injured wrestlers. You don’t work, you don’t get paid. At least not more than half. Serena, Tara, Tessa Blanchard and Rose Martinez have all signed new, short contracts with TNAW. TNAW management hope to be able to give out longer contracts soon, as this is not optimal for either TNAW or the wrestlers.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 11.07.2015
New Arrivals Welcome to Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight’s episode begins with footage from the very busy Miami International Airport. We see Chasity Taylor waiting in the arrival hall, waving to two young women who come through the gates. They introduce themselves as Evie and Jessie McKay. The dialect clearly marks them as Australians. They pick up their bags and talk about how jetlagged they are after their long trip. They cannot wait for a hot shower. Chasity tells them that has to wait a little while longer, as they need to get to the Showdown Zone for their match tonight. The girls are clearly not ready for a match, but Chasity tells them that the new General Manager want to celebrate their coming by giving them a tag title match. The girls admit that wrestling for the tag team titles is an honor, but they’re not really a tag team. New GM? They didn’t hear about this! Chasity says it will all be explained later. When they get to her car, she whips out two matching, pink outfits - announcing their wearers as The Pink Ladies. Jessie and Evie hold them up, realizing that they do not have any choice if they’re going to make a good impression on the first day. Rating: ***¾
New GM announced The new and improved Showdown Zone opens with TNAW owner Dixie Carter standing in the ring. The futuristic arena sports a new and modern look. Dixie welcomes new and old fans alike, saying that this is just the beginning of a new era of TNAW wrestling. And to usher in this new era, a new General Manager is needed. Someone to take the reigns from Dixie. Someone who has held positions like this before - with success. Without further ado, the new, TNAW General Manager - AJ Mendez!
The fans go wild as AJ Mendez, dressed in a business suit skips down the entrance, followed by another similarly dressed female with dark glasses and her hair in a bun. Brooke Adams, also from the WWE! Josh Matthews bills her as Brooke Tessmacher, AJ’s assistant. AJ grabs the mic, telling the fans that Dixie’s best (and most expensive) investment ever, is HER. With her help, TNAW will grow and be known as not only the best women’s promotion in the world, but also the best promotion, male or female. She also wants all in the back to listen carefully to what she has to say now. The World Title needs a top contender. Also, TNAW has way too few Battle Royals. So to kill two birds with one stone, there will be a top contenders Battle Royal RIGHT NOW in three minutes. Anyone interested had to get their asses down in the ring. AJ then tells Brooke to start the countdown and take notes on who don’t bother with coming. Rating: ***¼
Battle Royal for top contendership Very few women were ready for an impromptu Battle Royal, but a title shot isn’t something that comes by every day. Athena, Kimberly and Jessica Havock fought in their street clothes, not bothering with wrestling boots. Thea Trinidad and Tessa Blanchard on the other hand, came out in just their undies! Melanie Cruise and Allysin Kay didn’t make it down in time, and was not allowed to take part. A tweet came in from Angelina Love, where she said that she hadn’t done her make-up, and would not show her face without it, a problem shared by both Ashley Flair and Candice LeRae. This was really all really chaotic!
Of the 17 women in the ring, several went over the ropes in the first few minutes. This included both the bra and panties wearing Trinidad and Blanchard, whose Lingerie catfight was interrupted by Jessica Havock lifting the smaller athletes out. Rose Martinez took out Nattie Neidhart, but the turncoat was evicted by Candice LeRae in turn. Wrestling in her tight jeans might not have done the best of favors for Athena’s maneuverability, and she was taken out by Kimberly. Heidi Lovelace had a match later and had her gear on, but Tara dumped her out just before she did the same to Mia Yim. Jessica Havock was really on a roll tonight, clotheslining Ashley Flair to the floor. Candice tried to upset the veteran Tara, but was surprised to see Kimberly sneak up behind her and toss her to the floor. Surprised that her nemesis was helping her, Tara didn’t realize Havock’s presence behind her, and together with Kimberly, J-Hav was slowly eliminating Tara. That was before Havock was hit with a spear from Serena. Tara got loose, dumping Kimberly out of the ring. Serena, desperate to earn a title shot pounded away on Havock, but the brute blocked her punches and got her over the ropes. Her back was turned to Tara, who showed great strength in evicting the behemoth. Tara is the Battle Royal winner !
Tara won a 16-woman Battle Royal in 07:48 Rating: ***¾
Tournament announced We go to a scene set inside AJ Mendez’s office. She and Brooke are watching the final eliminations on the big screen, when Chasity Taylor lets in Thea Trinidad (still with only her bra and panties) and Mia Yim. Brooke tells Thea to get dressed, pointing to her gear lying on a chair. As we see Tara win the Battle Royal, AJ announces that in September, the Playboy issue will feature a completely nude TNAW wrestler. This is all thanks to AJ’s great influence, of course. Playboy has allowed AJ to choose which wrestler though, and to combine the great values of beauty and ferocity, AJ announces an 8-woman tournament. Four semi-finals will take place on Showdown’s prior to Tropic Tumble. At the Tropic Tumble itself, the four winners will compete in Ultimate X! Mia guesses both she and Thea are in the tournament, since they are here. AJ awards Mia 10 points, and says they’re on in 5 minutes. Rating: *
Amanda Rodriguez vs Heidi Lovelace Heidi didn’t have much time to rest after the Battle Royal, and was back in action against Amanda Rodriguez, who Renee Young said hailed from Peru. Heidi might have fallen a little on the side after War Games, where the Four Horsewomen took most of the credit. She was on top of her game tonight at least, recovering from Rodriguez’ initial flurry of offense with a sound comeback of her own, stunning Amanda long enough for the Shining Wizard.
Heidi Lovelace defeated Amanda Rodriguez with the Shining Wizard in 02:04 Rating: ¾*
Mia Yim vs Thea Trinidad - Playboy Photoshoot Qualifying Match At the start of the match, Josh Matthews announced three other participants in the Playboy Photoshoot Tournament. A woman we just saw, Heidi Lovelace, one of the Australian girls, Jessie McKay and Angelina Love. The three final participants were not revealed at this time, but Josh said that according to Brooke, AJ really wants one of the Horsewomen in the tournament. How about that, seeing the daughter of Ric Flair on the cover of Playboy?
Thea will never be the tallest girl in the ring, and with five inches to go on Mia, the SexiNation member had to use dirty tactics and evasive maneuvers to avoid Yim’s lethal kicks. Both are more than beautiful enough to grace the covers of any men’s magazine, but only one could fit the bill. Jumping off the ropes, Thea connected with a tornado DDT, drilling Mia’s head into the canvas and sending herself to Tropic Tumble!
Thea Trinidad defeated Mia Yim with a Flying Tornado DDT in 03:38 Rating: ***
A disgruntled Lovelace The next scene saw Heidi Lovelace, still in her wrestling gear, exit the building and walk towards a limousine standing at the parking lot. She got in. RD Evans was already there. RD asked her what was so urgent. Heidi said that after War Games, she was just forgotten like a bad date. She was 20 % of that team. She understands she is not a Horsewoman, but would it have killed them to have her join the party? Not only that, she was primed to win her title back, but now it is around Nattie Neidhart’s waist. RD nods sagely. He tells Heidi that if she wants, they can drive the limo around the parking lot in circles. She can celebrate all she likes. OR. Or she can have a TV Title match against Nattie Neidhart next week. Heidi takes the title match. Rating: ***
Cheater, cheater The next scene is from a restaurant, where Angelina Love and her boyfriend Davey Richards are having a meal. Angelina tell Davey about the new, horrible boss at work, who tried to trick her into wrestling without make up like a common farm animal. You can clearly see that something is bothering Davey, and when Angelina also notices it and asks him, he grabs her wrist, saying that this, the “Cheater” tattoo, bothers him. Angelina apologizes for losing the match to Candice. Davey tells her that she shouldn’t apologize for that, she should apologize for getting into the situation in the first place. Rating: **
Pink Ladies vs SexiNation (c) for the TNAW Tag Team Titles Not everyone gets to main event and fight for a title on their first day at work. The benevolence from AJ was a little lost on Jessie and Evie however, as they were clearly tired from the trip, not used to working together as a team and clearly uncomfortable wrestling in the pink gear provided them by the new General Manager. Still, the Aussie girls managed to show some innovative moves and even some double team maneuvers as the match progressed. Sarita and Ivelisse tried to slow things down, using their submission wrestling background to wear down the tired Australians even more. The fans took to the Pink Ladies at once, and the spunky Evie and “Everybody’s Favorite Girlfriend” Jessie McKay might soon become full-fledged crowd favorites. McKay turned the tides when she hit a spinebuster out of nowhere on Ivelisse, but her attempt to make a much needed tag to Evie was thwarted when Rose Martinez pulled her off the apron. Instead, it was Ivelisse who made the tag. Sarita bounced on McKay, locking in the chickenwing for the quick submission.
SexiNation (Sarita & Ivelisse) defeated Pink Ladies (Evie & JessieMc Kay) when Sarita submitted McKay to the chickenwing in 06:29 Rating: ***¼ (SexiNation retained their TNAW Tag Team Titles in their 4th title defense)
Not your time! The next scene sees the newly crowned top contender, Tara, backstage in the Showdown Zone, trying to get a drink out of a vending machine. Suddenly, Jessica Havock appears, staring threateningly at the veteran. Havock tells her that anyone could have won that Battle Royal - it doesn’t mean that she deserves being the top contender. Before Tara can reply, the former TNAW World Champion, Serena, also shows up. She congratulates Tara on her win, but reminds her who the former champion is. She should get a rematch. Tara smiles to them both. She tells Jessica that yes, anyone COULD have won that Battle Royal, but only ONE did. Her. And yes, Serena is the former champion. So if and when AJ Mendez decides to give Serena a rematch, it will be against the NEW TNAW World Champion, Tara!
As Tara and Havock walk their separate ways, AJ Mendez skips across the floor towards Serena, someting hidden behind her back. AJ smiles at Serena, calling her “my favorite ex-world champion”. Serena asks when her rematch for the title is. AJ says that unfortunately, rematch clauses does not really exist, it is more or less customary, but it’s completely up to the GM. AJ tells Serena that she doesn’t need to worry though. As Serena might have heard, there is a tournament happening right now for the rights to be on the cover of Playboy Magazine in September. The winner will also get a title shot. AJ hands Serena a Playboy and tells her that her ticket to a rematch lies in the tournament. Serena shakes her head in disbelief as the show goes off air. Rating: ***1/4
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: Our new General Manager, AJ Mendez, has really managed to turn things upside down on her very first day at work! Tara is now your new top contender, winning an impromptu Battle Royal. She will wrestle Saraya Knight (still on vacation in England) in two weeks. Next week, however, will see Nattie Neidhart put her TV Title on the line against her War Games ally, Heidi Lovelace. Until then!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 18.07.2015
Welcome to another edition of Saturday Night Showdown. This is week two of AJ Mendez’ reign as General Manager. After the opening, we quickly go to Mendez’ office.
New wrestlers on the horizon? AJ is watching the main event of last week on the big screen in her office, commenting on how close the Pink Ladies came to winning the titles. AJ asks Brooke what’s on the schedule tonight, and the assistant mentions another Playboy Photoshoot Qualifier, this time pitting Serena against Angelina Love, the TV Title match with Heidi Lovelace challenging Nattie Neidhart, Tara would be in action.. also, Brooke informs AJ that she has signed a masked wrestler. Brooke says she is pretty good, but she doesn’t want to reveal her identity. AJ says that’s fine, masked wrestlers could be great. But she needed a name though. Brooke starts explaining the background for her name when AJ cuts her off, saying that it doesn’t matter, she is now Miss Wrestling II. Brooke tries to protest, but AJ has made up her mind. Rating: **¾
Kimberly vs Nicole Matthews Kimberly might have come up short in last week’s battle royal, but don’t forget she’s fresh off two huge wins against Tara. Ironically enough, Tara is the one getting the title shot next week.. What’s next for Kimberly, nobody knows, but she at least got her hands raised here tonight, dumping Matthews on her face with the gory bomb.
Kimberly defeated Nicole Matthews with the Shuttle 151 after 01:48 Rating: ***
Angelina Love vs Serena - Playboy Photoshoot Qualifying Match Though Serena has nothing to be ashamed of in the looks department, wrestling for a Playboy Photoshoot a month after being the World Champion wasn’t what she signed up for. Still, it was the only way she could a rematch, according to the new sheriff in town, AJ Mendez. In the start of the match, Love was taunted mercilessly by the crowd - “Cheater, cheater”, and the distraction allowed Serena to set the pace. Just as Angelina got back on top, escaping a clothesline in the corner and hitting with a couple of hard kicks, the crowd was shocked to see VELVET SKY back in TNAW! Angelina’s former partner in crime came down the ramp with a microphone. She said that Angelina was a Beautiful People, and Beautiful People don’t fight for what is rightfully theirs. If Playboy wants to have Angelina Love in their magazine, they can ask her. Nicely. She then tells Angelina to come with her. Angelina is torn for a short while, but decides to exit the ring. Serena tries to stop her, but Angelina waves her off, telling Serena to take the win. Serena shakes her head, and we can clearly see her saying: “I don’t want this either!” Nevertheless, Serena stayed in the ring for the ref to count the 10. Really strange.
Serena defeated Angelina Love via countout in 05:28 Rating: ¾*
Trip to the doctors The next scene is from a hospital. An office door opens, and Alissa Flash and a doctor emerges. The doctor and Alissa shakes hands as Flash thanks the doctor for his time. As she walks down the corridor, Ashley Flair gets up from her chair. The Four Horsewomen teammate looks concerned and asks Alissa if the results are back. Alissa nods gravely before shaking her head solemnly. Alissa and Ashley hug. Rating: ¾*
Amber Gallows vs Miss Wrestling II This was the debut of Miss Wrestling II! A feisty, long-haired brunette with an energetic spirit and a cat’s mask. It sure isn’t the original Miss Wrestling, Angelina Love! Local girl Amber Gallows wasn’t impressed, and did her best to both win the match, earn the crowd’s ire and make a name for herself on top of it all. Pulling Miss Wrestling’s hair took her only so far, and when the crowd’s support brought on Miss Wrestling’s second wind, Amber was in a world of hurt. After hitting a flurry of offense, Miss Wrestling finished her off with a belly-to-back facebuster she likes to call Shock Effect.
Miss Wrestling II defeated Amber Gallows with the Shock Effect in 03:38 Rating: ***¼
The Beautiful People are back again! The next scene is from the lounge backstage. Velvet Sky and Angelina Love are reminiscing about old days, having a double espresso courtesy of the fantastic staff of the TNAW Lounge. Velvet says it’s good to be back. Now that they’re together again, The Beautiful People will take their place at the top. Angelina smiles, saying that she tried that with Madison Rayne, but it didn’t work out. Velvet says “screw Madison” - we are the original Beautiful People. The only thing Velvet is concerned about, is the “cheater” tattoo that Candice LeRae forced upon her. It’s not good. The humiliation.. how can she stand it? Love says she tries not to think about it. Sky says it doesn’t matter. They will take care of that and anyone who stands in their way. Rating: ***
Donna Lee vs Tara Tara has expressed deep humiliation about being so soundly defeated on two occasions by Kimberly, but the veteran has obviously decided to move on. Winning the Battle Royal last week was a big step in that direction, and now she has Saraya Knight to worry about next week. Donna Lee was not a big challenge, but it did give Tara a bit of a warm up.
Tara defeated Donna Lee with the Widow’s Peak in 02:03 Rating: ***¼
Saraya is back! Tara didn’t have the chance to get out of the ring before the music of the TNAW World Champion played, and Saraya Knight sauntered down to the ring. Saraya said she was back from her well-deserved holiday. She had been taking care of her poor daughter, maimed for life by a bitch named Serena. A “woman” Saraya took care of. And then, just in her hour of celebration, she was attacked by a monster, a behemoth of a beast named Jessica Havock. So when she returned from Europe, she was anticipating, nay, expecting, to face either one. Or maybe both. Instead, she got a veteran who was even more washed up than she was. She taunts Tara while at the same time acknowledging the fact that they are the same age. Eventually, Tara picks up the microphone, telling Saraya that they’d better have a few replacement hips ready then, cause she’s going to bring it next week. This might be Tara’s last chance at the World Title, but when she saw old hags like her walking around with the gold, it’s hope for everyone. Rating: ****
Kimberly’s request The next scene sees Kimberly sitting in a meeting room in the new Showdown Zone. An immaculately dressed AJ Mendez comes in with a clipboard. She calls Kimberly her “ten-to” appointment. AJ says she is impressed with Kimberly. Ex-TV champion. Ex-tag champion. Defeated Tara twice. AJ asks what Kimberly wants next. Their might be a few contestants before her in the line for a title shot at the World Title, though. Kimberly says that she will win the World Title in time. But for now, she wants another veteran. She wants Sara Del Rey. AJ smiles, telling Kimberly that she thinks they will be good friends. She books a match between the two for next week. Rating: **¼
Heidi Lovelace vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/RD Evans for the TV Title Friends and team mates at War Games last month, rivals tonight. Heidi felt that she had one more shot left against Sexi Star, and when Nattie won the belt, she felt overlooked. Not being invited to the Four Horsewomen celebration also didn’t help. The match started out scientifically, Nattie trading holds with Heidi in the early goings. Nattie came out on top for the first of them, smiling a little condescendingly at the younger Heidi. Heidi got back on the saddle, taking Nattie down with a series of armdrags, patting the TV Champ on the head for good measure. The intensity was turned up a notch or two after this, the two trading chops and kicks. Nattie went for the Sharpshooter on a couple of occasions, but Heidi managed to get out. RD Evans got a little carried away too, and was sent down from the apron by the stern official. Unfortunately for Heidi, she had just hit the Shining Wizard on Nattie. RD held up his hands in apology, but it didn’t exactly help Heidi. The two went back and forth a little more, before Nattie hit her Discus clothesline, followed by a perfect bridging german suplex.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Heidi Lovelace after 08:40 with a bridging German suplex Rating: ***¼
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: AJ Mendez’ dynasty has a surprise every week, or so it seems. This time, it is Velvet Sky who is back! Also, why was Alissa Flash at the doctors? We have learned that she will tell us next week!
Next week will also see Saraya Knight defend her World Title for the first time, against Tara. The Playboy Photoshoot Qualifiers continues as well, Heidi Lovelace facing Jessie McKay. Until next week!

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 25.07.2015
A sad announcement After the intro, we go to the ring, where Alissa Flash stands with a microphone, RD Evans standing outside the ring all solemn looking as well. She looks more serious than ever, but also very sad. Alissa says that when she returned to the ring last fall after her injuries suffered at the hands of Saraya Knight, it was always with the knowledge that this might be the last spell of her career. And now, after consulting with several doctors, it is clear that Alissa’s back can’t take much more. She risk permanent paralysis with every match - something she wants to avoid. Therefore it is with a heavy heart that she now announces her immediate retirement from the world of wrestling. It has been an honor to be a Horsewomen, albeit for a short amount of time. The crowd is really down after hearing this, and it doesn’t get better when TNAW World Champion Saraya Knight enters. She tells Alissa that sometimes, two enemies get such a sense of mutual respect for each other that they sort of depend on each other. Well, that is not the case with them. Good riddance to you, Saraya says, taking great pride in the fact that it was she who caused the injury. Alissa didn’t get the chance to reply though, cause Tara clobbered Knight from behind, angry with the champ for ruining Alissa’s farewell speech, but also to set the tone for tonight’s world title match. Saraya soon responded in kind, hitting and kicking with all her long, strong limbs. There was no clear winner to this brawl that ended with security breaking it up - but later tonight, security won’t stop them from tearing it up. Rating: **
The mind games are on Backstage, Serena is finishing up her workout, when Thea Trinidad approaches her. The lithe Dominican compliments on Serena’s looks, telling her that she looks great. Maybe not “Playboy great”, but great nonetheless. She, however, looks perfect for Playboy. You know what they say, “diamonds come in small packages”. Serena tells Thea that this isn’t a beauty contest. This will be settled in a wrestling match. She is the former TNAW World Champion, while Thea is the lackey of a stable on a downard spiral. Besides, Thea is too short to even reach the cables from the top turnbuckle, so how is she going to win the Ultimate X match? An enraged Thea yells at Serena in Spanish. Serena smiles and walks off. Rating: **¾
From the offices of AJ In her office, AJ is telling Brooke that Playboy initially wanted her, and only her, to do the photo shoot. Of course, AJ was flattered, but she wants to give the spotlight to someone else. That’s just the kind of caring and giving person she is. She looks coyly at Brooke before saying that it’s too bad she isn’t a wrestler, she would have been perfect for Playboy. Brooke blushes, thanking AJ for the kind words. There is a knock at the door, and Rose Martinez enters, asking why she was requested. Brooke says that since Alissa Flash just announced her retirement, their match for tonight is cancelled. Rose says she figured that much, that’s why she changed back to street clothes. AJ says “that’s too bad, for your fighting Tessa Blanchard. Right now!” Rating: ****
Rose Martinez vs Tessa Blanchard Rose was clearly not prepared for this match at all, and went out their in jeans and a singlet. As clearly proven at her first show, when AJ Mendez is GM, it pays to be prepared. Tessa had obviously gotten the memo sooner, as she was prepped and ready. Even if Rose was not to blame for Alissa’s serious injury, Flash never did get her revenge on the women who betrayed her. Tessa did manage to enact a little payback on Martinez here tonight, hitting the Slingshot Suplex for the 3-count.
Tessa Blanchard def. Rose Martinez with the Slingshot Suplex in 02:53 Rating: *½
Heidi Lovelace vs “Everybody’s Favorite Girlfriend” Jessie McKay - Playboy Photoshoot Qualifying Match Busy month for Heidi, with stakes both in the TV Title picture and the Playboy Photoshoot qualifiers. We don’t know much about the Aussie McKay, other than that she talks funny and wants your boyfriend. Her legs never seems to stop though, perfect for both Playboy and kicking Heidi Lovelace. Axe kicks and savat kicks loosened her up, before a Big Boot named School Girl Crush sent Lovelace down for the two. Heidi has her specialty kicks as well, delivering a beautiful enzuigiri to the back of her head. As she was dazed on her knees, the Shining Wizard connected for the win. Heidi Lovelace def. Jessie McKay with the Shining Wizard in 04:10 Rating: ***
RD puts on the charm At the backstage cafeteria, RD Evans joins Athena and offers her some coffee. RD apologizes for neglecting her these past months, but tells her that her patience has paid off. The IV Horsewomen are looking for a new Horsewomen of Pestilence, and who better than “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena. Athena laughs, asking RD if he thinks this is the right move? Enticing her by calling her a plague carrier? RD holds up his hands, saying it might have been the wrong choice of words. Either way, she knows it’s just symbolic. She’s a beautiful, impressive woman who he would love to have in the Horsewomen. Athena considers it for a moment, but in the end shakes RD’s hands. RD then tells her she has a match next week already. Rating: ****½
TBP recruited Backstage, Angelina Love and Velvet Sky are relaxing in a hot tub, when Saraya Knight enters, the World Title draped over her shoulders. TBP ask what she wants. Knight says that instead of laying here like two twats on a spa vacation, they should be working out or maneuvering to get a tag team title shot. Speaking of spa vacation, Saraya whips out two tickets to the most expensive and luxurious spa in town. Tickets that would end up in the hands of Angelina and Velvet, if only they helped her out with a little thing. The sparkle in their eyes tell us they are, indeed, interested. Rating: ****
Spring cleaning in the summer Many of the wrestlers are gathered backstage in a meeting room. We see Nicole Matthews, Donna Lee, Allysin Made, Mia Yim and several others. AJ and Brooke enter, AJ says she will be brief. She says that the wage bill in TNAW is way too high, and there are way too many wrestlers around here anyway. Not everyone will make it through the summer, so they better start winning matches and/or making themselves interesting to herself and the fans. Otherwise, they would be victims of the spring cleaning. Brooke comments “.. well, technically it will be summer cleaning though.” The pedantic correction didn’t sit too well with AJ, who snidely remarks that correcting the boss may also lead to an early exit. Brooke stutters an apology. Rating: ***
Kimberly vs Sara Del Rey Last week, Kimberly requested a match from AJ Mendez. Ever since defeating Tara, Kimberly has been gunning for other big names in TNAW, and who better than the double World Champion, Sara Del Rey. Kimberly was so confident going into this match that she tried to engage Sara in a test of strength at the outset of the match, a move that led to Sara dominating the early goings, whipping Kimberly from pillar to post. A slingshot into the corner allowed Kimberly to turn the momentum, but the veteran would not be another stepping stone for Kimberly’s career. After handily blocking the Shuttle 151, Sara irish whipped Kimberly and connected with the koppo kick before unceremoniously hitting the Royal Butterfly to put Kimberly away. Kimberly looked shock as the ref raised Sara’s hands in the air. This didn’t go as planned - at all! Rating: ****½
Saraya Knight (c) vs Tara for the TNAW World Title After losing conclusively to Kimberly in back-to-back matches, Tara’s chances of getting a new title shot came via an impromptu Battle Royal two weeks ago. Still, the veteran wasn’t about to let this opportunity go to waste, and wanted nothing more than to win the World Title for an unprecedented fourth time. And Knight, winning the title for the first time in her 43th year, was not about to let it go so easily. This resulted in a heated and competitive battle where both veterans didn’t show their age at all. If anything, their experience shone through at just the right places. Where to take risks, and where to play it safe. Knight missed an avalanche in the corner in the 6th minute, and Tara went for the A-rack-na-phobia. A little swing caused the ref to be knocked down though, and nobody was there to count. Enter The Beautiful People, who run in and hit Tara with the Total Elimination. They then pull Saraya Knight across Tara and wake the referee. I guess they really wanted those spa tickets, cause they now got a really pissed off Tara to deal with.
Saraya Knight pinned Tara after 08:05. Rating: ****¾ (Saraya Knight retained the TNAW World Title in her 1st title defense)
Show rating: ***¾
Show notes: A brilliant show tonight where the veterans proved that once again, age doesn’t matter. Heidi Lovelace becomes the third participant in the Ultimate X Match for the Playboy Photoshoot at Tropic Tumble. Who will join her, Serena and Thea Trinidad? Find out next week!

I’m digging the change in format and presentation. AJ as GM is the exclamation point on the makeover and her running things will be a sight to see.
I never watched much TNA but I did watch when Brooke was doing the assistant gimmick and I thought she played that role very well.
Playboy Photoshoot tournament? Classy. AJ is nuts. Choosing a favorite to win this would have nothing to do with wrestling ability.
I like the dynamic of Serena not wanting to be in Playboy but wanting the title shot. Will be interesting if she wins the whole thing.
Saraya ruining Alissa’s farewell speech is fire!
Rose should know you always ask the promoter, or in this case the GM, if you’re finished for the night before changing out of your gear!
Things are looking good going into Tropic Thunder. You’re writing AJ masterfully as the arrogant, untouchable, dominating GM. If your “summer cleaning” is just a way to ease the load on yourself I like how you’re turning it into a storyline.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown - 01.08.2015
A change of plans Welcome to another edition of the brand new Saturday Night Showdown! Tonight’s opening match was supposed to be a Playboy Photoshoot Qualifier between “The Wrestling Goddess” Athena and Miss Wrestling II. However, when they spunky Miss Wrestling II made her entrance, it was cut short by AJ Mendez. The General Manager said that there must have been a mistake. They cannot send a masked wrestler to represent TNAW at Playboy. However, if she would unmask and turn out to be a beauty, the matter was something else. Miss Wrestling II shook her head, remaining silent though. She gestures towards her well-toned body, suggesting that this should be enough for Playboy. AJ says that she is sorry, but she cannot risk having her win the tournament when she doesn’t know who she is or how she looks. A replacement must be found. Rating: ****¼
Amber Gallows vs Athena - Playboy Photoshoot Qualifying Match The newly named “Horsewomen of Pestilence” faced off against a local girl named Amber in this qualifier. The blonde Gallows was given the opportunity of a lifetime, but she never managed to rise to Athena’s level, and fell quickly to the O-Face.
Athena defeated Amber Gallows with the O-Face in 01:42 Rating: *½
An attack in the dark We see a short training montage of Sara Del Rey working out, before putting away the jump rope and drying her hair and face with a towel. When she looks up again, Kimberly is right in front of her, a sneer on her face. The crazy Kimberly strikes her again and again, screaming that she won’t be made fun of. Sara tries fighting back, but Kimberly grabs a kettlebell and rams it into Sara’s ribs. As she stands over Sara, Kimberly laughs, telling her that as with Tara, she is just a stepping stone to immortality. Rating: **
Candice LeRae vs Velvet Sky The return of Sky has brought some attention to the “cheater” tattoo that Angelina Love was forced to take after losing to Candice LeRae at Caged Fury. Velvet yelled insults at LeRae before locking up with her, and kept an aggressive momentum throughout the match. LeRae was going for the Crotch Plex, but Velvet broke free, calling Candice a perverted degenerate. When Sky managed to fool the referee into thinking she had been poked in the eye (she clearly hadn’t), Angelina Love struck, spraying Candice in the eyes with her hair spray. Velvet wrapped it up with her pedigree-like maneuver.
Velvet Sky defeated Candice LeRae with the In Yo Face in 05:19 Rating: ***¾
To the resuce The Beautiful People didn’t wait for Velvet’s arm to be raised before they pounced upon Candice, beating her down and stomping away on her. They had a marker with them, and tried (unsuccessfully) to write something on her skin. After hitting her with the Botox Injection, they even tried to put a paper bag over her head. The attempt was thwarted by Tara, who ran in with fury in her eyes. It was TBP who spoiled her chances of becoming World Champion last week, and now they should pay! Sky gets out of dodge, but Love eats a Widow’s Peak before Sky pulls her out. Tara checks on LeRae as TBP retreats. Rating: ¾*
Havock gets a lesson A video airs of an angry looking Jessica Havock entering the office of AJ Mendez. The GM offers Havock a drink, but she refuses. AJ says that she understands that Havock is disappointed. She attacks Knight after her title win, and Tara gets a title shot. She gets that. AJ tries to explain something to Havock. You see, people don’t like Saraya Knight. And not too many like Jessica Havock. So it makes no sense for AJ to put Knight and Havock against each other. Two people that the fans do not like. Havock scoffs, asking AJ why the results cannot speak for themselves. AJ says you can defeat whoever you want, if the crowd doesn’t care about any of the wrestlers, she can’t sell the match. AJ then tells Havock that if she wants to vent a little frustration, she will have to wrestle in a Handicap-match later tonight. As Jessica leaves, a side door opens and Saraya Knight emerges. The world champion says she isn’t afraid of Jessica Havock. AJ smiles, telling Knight that she plans on putting the two against each other at Tropic Tumble. She just wants to let Havock sweat a little first. Rating: **¼
TBP invites Knight along A video airs of The Beautiful People putting on make-up and getting into new clothes after their encounter with Tara and Candice. Velvet says she is looking forward to the spa. Saraya Knight comes by, and Love thanks her again for the tickets. She then asks her if she wants to join them. Saraya is insulted by this, and asks Love if she thinks she’s ugly or something. Love starts to say something like “everyone needs a makeover now and then”, but Velvet puts a hand around her mouth halfway, muffling the sound. Love smiles a fake grin at Knight, wishing her a good day. Afterwards, Sky tells Love that they don’t need any more enemies than they can handle. Rating: ***¼
Jessica Havock vs Allysin Kay & Mary Dobson The new reign of AJ Mendez didn’t lead to immediate gold and glory for Jessica Havock, and the alleged conspiracy against her continues. This was, perhaps, worst for Kay and Dobson, who even though they cooperated in the start trying to tackle Havock together, they were quickly dismantled. After chokeslamming Kay, Havock hit the Demon Drop on Dobson on top of Kay, pinning both of them while grinning maniacally at the cameras.
Jessica Havock defeated A. Kay & M. Dobson when she pinned Kay after the Demon Drop in 02:39 Rating: *¾
Negative feedback from the boss A new video airs, this time by Brooke Tessmacher who enters AJ’s office. AJ asks her where she’s been tonight. Brooke says she’s been out handling various HR matters with the wrestlers and the crew. AJ then tells Brooke that including a masked wrestler in the Photoshoot competition was a mistake, and that she was responsible. It was embarrassing having to be out there cleaning up her mistakes. Who knows who Miss Wrestling II is? Her body isn’t that hot anyway, AJ says. Brooke apologizes and looks down in shame. AJ forgives her, telling her that everyone can make mistakes. Just don’t do something like that again. AJ then smiles that smile that tells you that if you do do something like that, bad things will happen. Rating: ****
Ashley Flair w/RD Evans vs Sarita w/Thea Trinidad Another chapter in the war between SexiNation and the Horsewomen. Flair and Sarita are sound technically wrestlers, their chain-wrestling quickly turning into reversals of holds and submissions. Sarita seemed to have trouble holding her own, and retreated to the outside on several occasions to get advice from her cousin, Thea Trinidad. RD Evans took offense at this, trying to force Sarita back into the match. Trinidad screamed out loud when he tried to get past her to get at Sarita, calling him a pervert. As a solicitor, RD must know the dangers of sexual harassment suits, as he backed off. This gave Thea more room, and she used that extra space to trip up Ashley as she was bouncing off the ropes. Flair turned to yell at Trinidad, allowing Sarita to roll her up, grab her tights and make a quick escape after stealing this win.
Sarita defeated Ashley Flair with a schoolgirl roll up in 07:18 Rating: *¼
Show rating: **½
Show notes: We have only 8 days left to Tropic Tumble. We now know that Athena, Thea Trinidad, Serena and Heidi Lovelace will fight in an Ultimate X match for a Playboy Photoshoot contract. Next week, the four will face each other in a tag team match.

Thanks for the feedback Vertigo. I know a Playboy photoshoot might go against the spirit of a serious women's promotion, but my "Random Events" table turned up "Featured in a Magazine" on one of my wrestlers, so I decided to turn it into an angle. Also, AJ is hired to increase the ratings, and she is cunning enough to put on this kind of tournament to get some publicity.

TNAW - Saturday Night Showdown 08.08.2015
Pink Ladies vs Avery/Rodriguez Debuting in a surprise tag team title challenge with a new partner and in pink gear wasn’t what Evie or Jessie predicted when they travelled to Florida, but they seem to have warmed to the idea. The two cute Aussie girls have clearly been working together, showing off some nice and crisp double team maneuvers. Lexia Avery and Amber Rodriguez are two tough, local chicks with more muscle and fat around their bones, and were able to dominate using their power for a short time. Being the best of the best from Australia, the Ladies wrapped it up with a Spinebuster/top rope double stomp combo.
Pink Ladies defeated L. Avery & A. Rodriguez when Evie pinned Rodriguez after the It Came from Down Under in 03:42 Rating: ¾*
RD explains his actions A video airs of RD Evans approaching Melanie Cruise backstage. He sees the anger in her eyes, and asks for a minute or two. RD says he understands Melanie is upset that he chose Athena. He realizes that Melanie is a former World Champion, but Athena was primarily recruited for one purpose. To get a Horsewoman into Playboy. Athena is the most attractive of his clients, and she would do extremely well with the black demographics. However, he has an offer to Cruise as well. At Tropic Tumble, Nattie Neidhart does not have a challenger for the TV Title. He wants to give an opportunity to Melanie. Cruise says that’s the first good thing he has done for her in months. RD smiles, telling her that he will not be biased. Whoever walks out of there the TV champ, he would be representing her. Rating: **¼
Havock demands a match We see a video of AJ Mendez entering her office, only to find Jessica Havock pacing inside. AJ asks what this nice little visit is all about. Havock says that AJ is just like Dixie. She is holding her back. The crowd loved her when she demolished those two bitches last week. But she wants a proper challenge. And she wants a title match. AJ says she cannot promise her a title match, but she has a match for her later. Against a mysterious woman named Miss Wrestling II. Havock nods, and tells AJ that after that match, she cannot ignore her anymore. Everyone, Miss Wrestling, Saraya, AJ.. the fans.. none of them can ignore her and the fact that the Age of Havock has just begun. Rating: *****
Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs Nicole Matthews Invigorated by the offer of a TV Title match at Tropic Tumble, Melanie tore into her Canadian opponent. RD was present, and told the commentating team that he was really looking forward to the TV title match tomorrow. He points out that the IV Horsewomen is only one part of his strategic branding. Melanie Cruise is the other one, and he is still sure he can elevate her to the main event level again. In the ring, Cruise shows off both her power and aerial prowess, knocking Nicole silly with a big flying leg drop for the win.
Melanie Cruise defeated Nicole Matthews with a flying leg drop in 03:15 Rating: **¼
Jessica Havock vs Miss Wrestling II The mysterious Miss Wrestling II has already gotten many fans here in TNAW, and many were angered by AJ Mendez’ decision to shut her out of the Playboy Photoshoot Qualification match. However, after this match, she probably shouldn’t do any photoshoots for a while. Havock absolutely obliterated her with stiff punches and forearms to the head, breaking her back and stomach across her knees and really toying with her in a match that shouldn’t have lasted half as long as it did. She even pulled Miss Wrestling up from a sure pinfall. She wanted to prove a point, and she wanted to prove to AJ Mendez that she was the baddest bitch in town. Finally, the Harlot Slayer put this one away.
Jessica Havock defeated Miss Wrestling II with the Harlot Slayer in 04:39 Rating: **
Saraya challenges Havock Right after the match, Saraya Knight came out with a microphone. She said that Havock clearly was a woman of considerable.. girth. She obviously had a voracious apetite… for destruction as well as for food. The question was, did she have what it takes to handle a woman with the innate violence and ruthlessnes of Saraya Knight? Jessica laughed, and told Saraya that her feeble jokes about her size bounced off like water on a duck. She said she didn’t need to wait for tomorrow, she could take on Knight now. Knight charged, and the brawl was on. An evenly contested fist-fight was loosened up when Saraya low-blowed Havock and almost put her eyes out with her thumbs. She the punted J-Hav in the side of the head. As Havock rolled out of the ring, screaming of pain and covering her eyes, Saraya said that AJ Mendez had given her full permission to decide her own opponent tomorrow. And she would be looking forward to kicking Jessica’s ass.. big as it might be.. once again. Rating: ***
Attack at the gym We see a video of Sara Del Rey bench pressing at the gym. Suddenly, Kimberly appears beside her, asking her if she needs someone to spot. Sara places the weight back in place, just as she is struck by Kimberly. Sara tries to get up, but the attack is so sudden and violent that she is unable to. As Sara desperately tries to reach for Kimberly, she drops a weight on top of her hand. Kimberly then leans down to the screaming Del Rey, telling her that AJ Mendez just booked the two of them in a rematch. She then tells Sara that she probably should go see somebody about that hand. Rating: ****
“The Wrestling Goddess” Athena & Serena vs Thea Trinidad & Heidi Lovelace All of these gorgeous women are part of tomorrow’s Ultimate X match for a Playboy contract. All part of AJ Mendez’ plan to put TNAW on the map. Even though Heidi has no love lost for SexiNation, a win here tonight would give her a psychological advantage for tomorrow’s match. This was a brilliant back and forth encounter, where all four had plenty of chances to win and get the bragging rights. Athena looked renewed in her role as a Horsewoman, and Serena, while initially against the Playboy contract, knows that it is the only way to a rematch for the TNAW World Title. The match broke down towards the end, with all four competitors in the ring and the ref losing control of who the legal woman was. As Thea threw Athena over the ropes, Serena connected with a Spear on Heidi. She didn’t see Thea come up behind her though, and the tiny Dominican rolled up the former champion, pulled some tights and got the shocker! Serena must improve her awareness if she’s to come out on top tomorrow.
T. Trinidad & H. Lovelace defeated Athena & Serena when Trinidad pinned Serena after a schoolgirl roll up in 10:04 Rating: ****¼
Tara with a new protegé A video of Candice LeRae wrapping up a run airs. As she stretches, Tara, also on a run, catches up with her. Tara says that they might have a couple of common enemies. It doesn’t look like Angelina Love is going to let the tattooing incident be. The Beautiful People cost Tara the World Title, and she would like to get some payback. Candice has some reservations about partnering up with Tara. She knows what happened between herself and the last one. Tara says this is different. First of all, Candice isn’t looney tunes like Kimberly. Secondly, Tara knows now that she cannot do it all on her own. They shake hands, Candice pointing out that while she doesn’t trust Tara, she will take her chances in order to put TBP down. Rating: ***
AJ cannot find Brooke AJ Mendez is walking around backstage while calling somebody on the phone. We hear the voice mail of Brooke Tessmacher. AJ then asks a group of crew members if they have seen Brooke. She hasn’t been around all day. Chasity Taylor steps forward, telling AJ that she saw her earlier, but doesn’t know where she is now. AJ asks who Chasity is. Chasity replies that she is a backstage interviewer. AJ says that the time for backstage interviews is over, so what is she still doing here? Before Chasity can respond, AJ grabs her and kisses her forehead. Then she tells her that she is no longer needed, and that she is fired. Rating: ***¼

TNAW - TROPIC TUMBLE VI - 09.08.2015
Welcome to the sixth edition of Tropic Tumble! Unlike previous years, this year’s show was not held at an outside venue, but the crew had done their utmost to make the fans and wrestlers feel “tropical”, bringing in small piles of sand, plastic palms and the like - all to make the atmosphere of the summer’s biggest beach party.
Clean up in progress After the intro, we see a video of AJ Mendez sipping a daiquiri on the beach earlier today. She is obviously working, as she sits at a table looking through stacks of papers and photos of the TNAW wrestlers. Brooke Tessmacher is nearby, and AJ asks her who these people are. She then shows her photos of Allysin Kay, Mary Dobson and Nicole Matthews. Brooke explains they are all contracted wrestlers. AJ says there are way too many wrestlers already, and asks Brooke to fire them all. Brooke sighs, but nods. Then, Chasity Taylor approaches, asking for her job back. AJ explains that they don’t need interviewers anymore. Taylor nods, but says she is a trained wrestler as well. Brooke points out that it’s true, it’s all in her file. AJ scolds Brooke for not telling her this. AJ says that if Chasity can prove herself by winning a match tonight, she can stay on as a wrestler. Chasity asks who’s she’s facing. AJ does the eenie-meenie-miny-mo on the three wrestlers she just fired, and ends up with Nicole Matthews. She tells Brooke to book the match. Whoever wins, gets to stay employed. Rating: **
Tara & Candice LeRae vs The Beautiful People (Angelina Love & Velvet Sky) After Candice defeated Angelina at Caged Fury and forced the blonde to tattoo “cheater” on her arm, Love seemed to grudgingly accept the loss. Pressure from her old partner Velvet Sky has brought up some second thoughts however, and the pair has targeted LeRae. Tara also has a bone to pick with TBP, as they cost her the title match against Saraya Knight in exchange for spa tickets. After being schooled thoroughly in the start by the veteran, Love and Sky managed to isolate LeRae, choking her and wearing her down. Love struck her several times with the tattooed forearm, screaming at LeRae: “look at what you made me do!” LeRae tried to tag several times, but TBP always found a way to distract the ref or prevent the tag. She finally ducked a big boot and made the tag. Tara was cleaning house, when Velvet Sky went for the infamous hair spray. LeRae knows their tricks by now, kicking her off the apron. Tara hit a backbreaker before shoving Love over to LeRae, who hit the Crotch Plex for the win.
Tara & C. LeRae defeated The Beautiful People when LeRae pinned Love after the Crotch Plex in 07:48 Rating: **
Chasity Taylor vs Nicole Matthews - Loser Leaves Town A last chance for both of them to hang on to their job. While Chasity has done interview duty for some years now, she’s also been training wrestling and competing at local shows. It’s a big step up to TNAW and Nicole Matthews however, and it didn’t take long for Matthews to completely start dominating the match. Taylor showed tremendous fortitude though, kicking out of everything Matthews had to offer, even the dreaded lariat! Frustrated, Matthews went for the Vancouver Maneuver, but Chasity twisted out and hit an O’Connor Roll for the upset! And just like that, Taylor still has a job in TNAW!
Chasity Taylor defeated Nicole Matthews when she hit an O’Connor Roll in 06:10 Rating: *
Melanie Cruise w/RD Evans vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/RD Evans for the TNAW TV Title It’s a historic occasions as a title match is contested between two wrestlers with the same manager. RD came out alone before the match, showing no allegiance to either one of them. Nattie and Melanie shook hands before the match, making it clear that this was not a match between enemies, but rivals vying for the same prize. Nattie is perhaps the strongest athlete in TNAW pound-by-pound, but she still lost the power game to the bigger and stronger Cruise. Nattie then went to the ground, using her Hart dungeon background to inflict pain to Cruise’s lower back, setting her up for the Sharpshooter. Cruise did some damage to Nattie’s back in return, hitting a shattering spinebuster. The one thing you don’t want when wrestling Nattie, is to be put in the Sharpshooter. Still, Cruise held on, and managed to reach the ropes. Nattie pulled her out again, to the middle of the ring! Anyone else might have passed out, but Cruise inched closer to the ropes by the second. Suddenly, RD Evans jumped up on the apron and threw in the towel on Melanie’s behalf. A shocked Melanie could only see the referee call for the bell and raise Nattie’s hand in victory.
N. Neidhart defeated M. Cruise after 06:58 when RD Evans threw in the towel Rating: *** (Nattie Neidhart retained the TNAW TV Title in her 2nd title defense)
Furious Cruise While her back still hurt a lot, Cruise pushed Nattie Neidhart away and grabbed RD Evans by his shirt, asking what the h**k he was doing. RD tried to plead with Melanie, telling her that she was obviously in pain and risked severe injuries if he hadn’t done that. He cannot risk his girls’ health like that! Nattie and Melanie then started a shoving match, until Athena showed up, separating them. Athena told Cruise to let it go, and to not look for enemies where there are none. Cruise said that it was obvious that she didn’t have any friends or allies left. She told RD she quits! Cruise leaves the ring as Nattie, Athena and RD try to get her back. Rating: **3/4
Kimberly vs Sara DelRey Kimberly, hot on the heels of upsetting the wrestling world by besting Tara, has set her eyes on another legend of the sport, two time TNAW World Champion Sara Del Rey. SDR defeating Kimberly on Showdown earlier this summer shocked.. not too many, we all know what Sara is capable of, but Kimberly herself didn’t take the loss too kindly and attacked Sara at the gym, injuring her hand. The injury was a big factor in this match, the crazed Kimberly targeting the arm and trying to force Del Rey’s submission. You don’t reach the levels Del Rey have without being able to win matches without 100 % health though, and Sara used her other arm, legs and body to bring the fight back to Kimberly. She went for submission moves of her own, Kimberly scurrying over to the ropes for the break. Frustrated that her plans of destroying yet another legend was being thwarted by Sara’s resilience, Kimberly tried to piledrive Sara, a move that still is illegal in TNAW, ironically enough due to Sara Del Rey’s use of it. SDR countered it into a backdrop, hit a solid kick to the face and connected with the Royal Butterfly for the win.
Sara Del Rey defeated Kimbery with the Royal Butterfly in 09:11 Rating: **
SexiNation (Sarita & Ivelisse) (c’s) vs The IV Horsewomen (Tessa Blanchard & Ashley Flair) w/RD Evans for the TNAW Tag Team Titles SexiNation has been on a downward trajectory since Sexi Star lost the TV title to Nattie Neidhart and subsequently left the company. The nervousness was obvious on their faces, and the friendliness and camaraderie between Sarita and Ivelisse was replaced by snappy insults and rude gestures. It took a while before their offense yielded any results. Up to that point, Tessa and Ashley countered and blocked anything that the champs came up with. The champs isolated Blanchard for a period of time, Sarita almost retaining with the Tiger Driver. While still relatively fresh to the business, the raw talent and heritage in the challengers proved to be a tough nut to crack for the champions. Motivated by a vocal RD Evans on the sidelines, their crisp teamwork paid off when they hit Ivelisse with a slingshot suplex -> neckbreaker combo aptly named The Apocalypse Cometh. And just like that we have new tag team champions and a significant shift in the power status of TNAW.
The IV Horsewomen defeated SexiNation when A. Flair pinned Ivelisse after The Apocalypse Cometh in 11:42 Rating: ** (The IV Horsewomen won the TNAW Tag Team Titles)
Athena w/RD Evans vs Heidi Lovelace vs Serena vs Thea Trinidad for a Playboy Contract in an Ultimate X match While many have criticized TNAW for bringing this kind of element back into women’s wrestling, it will no doubt garner some outside interest. AJ Mendez was especially happy with this, as she made her way down to ringside with Brooke to witness this match. While Thea, as a member of SexiNation, might have felt alone in the opening against these three fan favorites, the IV Horsewomen are starting to get on the nerves on several of the other wrestlers. Heidi felt a little cheated by RD Evans after Caged Fury, and went after Athena. Thea’s small frame often leads others to underestimate her, and it was she who made the first attempt to cross the cable and reach the belt. She was thwarted by Athena, who showed off her athleticism by climbing faster than anyone before her. At one point, the three other realized that Serena, as the former world champion, posed the biggest threat, and worked together to take her out. Normally, the distance from the ring to the cables are too far for someone to reach a climber, but Athena and Thea put stable differences aside when they brought Heidi crashing down,Thea standing on Athena’s shoulders. Thea was swiftly speared by the recovered Serena, and was out of the match after that. Athena was close to getting the belt too, but instead opted for an extraordinaire feat, hitting the O-Face from the cables on Serena! The chance of that working was slim to none, and she crashed and burned. This left Heidi and Serena, who climbed separate cables towards the contract. A scuffle ensued at the top, with Serena kicking Heidi hard in the guts, causing her to fall. Serena wins the Playboy contract! Not only that, she wins a world title shot!
Serena defeated Athena, Heidi Lovelace & Thea Trinidad in an Ultimate X match for a Playboy contract in 10:10 Rating: *
AJ presents Serena with the contract A happy and smiling AJ Mendez enters the ring with Brooke, a stack of papers with her. She says that the paper hanging at the top was just a placeholder, the real contract is here, ready to be signed. As Serena peruses the contract, AJ says that she, as well as all the men in the crowd, is looking forward to the wrestling Playboy issue, where all her secrets are laid bare. And soon, Serena will get her promised World Title match. Maybe she will win it, so she can pose with only the belt covering her? She is sure everyone will cheer for her now that they know how she looks like naked. Serena signs the contract and grabs the mic. She tells AJ that she will do this for the World Title shot and because she’s not ashamed of herself. She realizes AJ tries to embarrass her, and that is ok. What is not ok, is that she’s trying to defame the World Title and diminish the effort made by all those who have held it. AJ laughs her off. Serena continues, saying that she’s also belittling the fans, thinking them all to be superficial air heads who come here for the looks. These fans are real fans of wrestling. They want to see real women fight real fights. And right now, they probably want to see her spear the shit out of AJ. AJ gets a priceless look on her face just as Serena hits her with a spear. The crowd cheers as Brooke takes a step over to AJ. Serena looks at her, and Brooke puts up her hands, telling her she wants no part of this. Rating: **½
Jessica Havock vs Saraya Knight (c) for the TNAW World Title AJ Mendez might have felt that neither of these two are fan favorites, but she was clearly wrong. The fans were 100 % in J-Hav’s corner. Maybe it’s because they hate Saraya so intensely, or maybe it is because they realize she has been held back, both by Dixie Carter and now by AJ Mendez. Either way, they all wanted the powerful Havock to kick some British ass tonight. And while Saraya was taken back by the sheer strength of Jessica, the wily veteran came back with a couple of fingers to the eyes. She garnered several warnings due to small joint manipulation as well, at one point almost breaking Jessica’s finger. Saraya has a habit of getting in everyone’s head, the crowd’s, the ref’s.. her opponent’s. Tonight was no different, and she kept ranting on about Jessica being fat and lazy, slow and stupid. Sometimes it works, sometimes it just adds fuel to the fire. Havock, more determined than ever to defeat Knight, attacked her with all her might, hitting both a spinebuster and the Demon Drop. Saraya rolled out, clutching her back. At her age, powerful moves like that can be a serious threat. Havock tried to exit the ring, but the ref stopped her. As he was counting out Saraya and trying to persuade her to return to the ring, Kimberly snuck in and hit Jessica over the head with a chair. The monster simply turned and stared angrily at Kimberly. Kimberly struck again, this time over the head. At the second blow, Jessica crumbled, the adrenaline that saved her the first time draining from her body. As Kimberly rolled out, Saraya rolled back in and made the cover. As the fans chanted“bullshit”, Kimberly smiled at the camera, saying that Knight promised her a title shot. She pointed to her, clearly indicated that she was a genius. Looking at Jessica’s deadly stare after the match though, you can wonder if Kimberly is anything but.
Saraya Knight defeated Jessica Havock by pinfall in 15:38 Rating: *** (Saraya Knight retained the TNAW World Title in her 2nd title defense)
Show rating: **¼
Show notes: The IV Horsewomen are the new queens in town, holding all titles but the World Title. The world title picture is more heated than ever though, as Kimberly made her intentions clear. But can Saraya just hand her a title shot? And what about Sara Del Rey? She defeated Kimberly tonight, shouldn’t she be ahead of her in the line?
Don’t forget Showdown next Saturday!

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 15.08.2015
The TNAW landscape is still reeling from what happened at Tropic Tumble. The IV Horsewomen have ¾ dominance in TNAW now, but RD might have lost his fifth client. Kimberly ruined Jessica Havock’s chances of winning the TNAW World Title, and Chasity Taylor saved her job by defeating Nicole Matthews. Speaking of which, Chasity was in action first, against Evie!
Chasity Taylor vs Evie The announcer turned wrestler might have pulled off an upset in defeating Nicole Matthews last Sunday, but the New Zealander had other plans for Chasity. Evie is an extremely athletic young woman with many innovative tricks down her sleeves. Chasity might be more than just a pretty face and a sweet voice, but a go to sleep-variation knocked her down for the three.
Evie defeated Chasity Taylor with the TGIE (Thank God It’s Evie) in 02:42 Rating: *
Serena photoshoot We see a video of Serena on the Playboy set doing her photo shoot. Renee Young is there with her, interviewing her about her day on the set. Serena says that it feels really good and that her hard work and dedication has given her a toned, muscled body to be proud of. She almost feels as good as when she speared AJ Mendez last Sunday. Serena is not afraid of the repercussions. She has a contracted world title. When she defeats Saraya Knight and regains the world title, AJ has no other choice than to bite the dust. Rating: ****
An unholy alliance? Backstage, Sara Del Rey is shadow boxing when Jessica Havock approaches her. J-Hav says it looks like they have a common enemy. Sara says it’s less than two months ago they fought at Caged Fury. Now she wants to bury the hatchet and join forces? Havock accuses Sara of being Dixie Carter’s lapdog. Don’t be AJ Mendez’ lapdog. Sara tells Jessica to stop feeling sorry for herself. Paranoia didn’t earn her two title reigns. As far as she is concerned, Sara is through with Kimberly. Havock shakes her head in disappointment, but walks off. Rating: *¼
Mary Dobson vs Mia Yim The crowd chanted “please don’t go” to Mary, who was fired by AJ Mendez last Sunday. Well, you do have two weeks’ notice, even in wrestling, and this match was already scheduled. Mary was fired up for this one, desperate to prove to AJ that firing her was a bad idea. It almost earned her a quick flash pinfall victory, but Mia wriggled free, connected with a couple of juicy kicks before climbing up high and hitting the Sky Yim for the win.
Mia Yim defeated Mary Dobson with the Sky Yim in 02:10 Rating: ***
An unholy alliance 2? Backstage, Kimberly is watching cat videoes on YouTube while laughing hysterically at them. The world champion approaches her, shutting the lid of the laptop. Saraya tells Kimberly that she really didn’t need her help last Sunday, but that she is a woman of her word. She will demand a title match for Kimberly at the earliest convenience. Mendez is not here tonight, but next week. Kimberly smiles, telling Saraya that it will be a pleasure to defeat her for the World Title. Kimberly is a Dino Hunter. She killed Tara, she will kill her too. Saraya scoffs, saying that she isn’t done with Sara Del Rey yet. She cannot take a nickname like that from one single incident. Knight walks off while Kimberly ponders what she was told. Rating: **
Athena w/RD Evans vs Melanie Cruise Melanie Cruise defected from RD Evans’ stable last Sunday after losing the TV Title match against Nattie Neidhart when Evans threw in the towel. Athena, Melanie’s tag team partner and recently promoted to Horsewoman of Pestilence, came in the way of Cruise’s revenge, causing Melanie to split. Tonight, the former partners were to settle the matter. Athena tried several times to reason with Cruise, who only saw an enemy on the other side of the ring. She fought back too, but Melanie’s strength and anger was too great, and Athena was overpowered and knocked out with the Burning Hammer. To prevent embarrassment, RD ran in and clubbed Melanie Cruise in the back, causing the dq.
Melanie Cruise defeated Athena by DQ in 04:35 Rating: ½*
RD spills the beans Melanie grabs RD and hits a spinebuster on him. RD winces in pain. Melanie grabs a microphone with one hand, RD Evans’ tie with the other. Cruise asks RD to tell Athena why she was chosen as the fourth Horsewomen. RD refuses to say something, so Melanie chokes him with the tie. Athena gets up, slowly, but doesn’t interfere. She looks curiously on RD. Melanie shouts at RD to tell her. RD says that the main.. *choke*.. nay.. only reason she was chosen, was because he wanted a Horsewomen in Playboy. Melanie let’s go of RD, who moves towards Athena to apologize, only to be superkicked in the jaw. Athena and Cruise leave the ring together. RD might have lost another client tonight.. Rating: ***¼
Sitdown with Candice & Tara Josh Matthews has had a chat with the most recent addition to the tag-team division. The team of Tara and Candice LeRae defeated the legendary The Beautiful People six days ago. What next? Are the tag titles a target? Candice says that she one day hopes to become as successful a wrestler as Tara, and that winning gold is one of the key elements to being a successful wrestler. Tara says that she never really lost the tag titles in the first place, so winning it back with a sane partner would be terrific. They have already proven themselves by defeating an established team like Love and Sky. As soon as SexiNation and the Horsewomen have settled their score, the tag titles are theirs for the taking. Rating: **
AJ will be back A video airs of AJ Mendez and Brooke Tessmacher out shopping. Brooke is carrying all the bags. AJ tells Brooke that when she gets back to work, and when Serena gets back from the photo shoot, things will go down. She will not let this stand, definitely not. Serena will rue the day she put her fingers on the greatest general manager in the history of the business. She might have a contracted world title match, but win or lose, after that match, she was going to belong to AJ. Every single inch of her body. AJ then laughs loudly into Brooke’s face, causing her to drop a bag or two. Rating: ****
The IV Horsewomen (c)´vs SexiNation for the TNAW Tag Team Titles This is a rematch from Tropic Tumble. If Sarita and Ivelisse underestimated Tessa and Ashley then, they did not do so now. Their teamwork had improved as well, utilizing quick tags and the ringside presence of Rose Martinez and Thea Trinidad to stay on top. The number’s game was somehow evened out when Nattie Neidhart came down, but the Horsewomen are lacking a manager and a Horsewoman. Ivelisse almost cut their reign historically short with the Disdain DDT, but Flair broke up the pinfall. Flair and Tessa had brief periods of time when they were in control, but SexiNation was back in business and poised to win back their straps. Late in the match, Rose Martinez grabbed one of the belts and hid beneath the apron. While Thea distracted the referee, Ivelisse irish-whipped Ashley into the ropes. She reversed it, however, and instead of hitting Ashley, Rose hit her teammate! Ivelisse crumpled, and Flair made the cover. Tessa jumped from the apron down on Rose to take her out and help Ashley Flair retain the titles.
The IV Horsewomen (Ashley Flair & Tessa Blanchard) defeated SexiNation (Ivelisse & Sarita) when A. Flair pinned Ivelisse after 11:09 Rating: ** (The IV Horsewomen retained their Tag Team titles in their 1st title defense)
Show rating: **½
Show notes: The fans are slowly but surely turning against RD Evans over his treatment of Melanie Cruise and Athena. It was a good thing he stayed out of this last match though, as maybe they would have cheered SexiNation?
The IV Horsewomen are fighting champions indeed, and their next title shot has already been signed. It will take place next week, and their opponents? Athena and Melanie Cruise!
Until then!
Behind the scenes
AJ Mendez’ presence combined with Serena’s Playboy issue has increased viewing numbers and Social Media activity. Question is, how long can TNAW keep AJ on? She’s rumored to be on a short term contract only, and might be gone at the end of October. Both Awesome Kong and Sarona Snuka have left WWE. Kong left a cryptic tweet to Snuka the day after they’ve had their “future endeavours luck wish”, where Kong told Snuka that they’d better have a #Showdown soon. Both have had stints in TNAW before, and Kong seems to switch between WWE and TNAW every other year.

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 22.08.2015
Tough demands from Kimberly Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the Showdown zone! Tonight we will see The IV Horsewomen defend their tag team championship against the team of Melanie Cruise and Athena. But first, we have Kimberly in the ring. Kimberly, who interfered on behalf of Saraya Knight at Tropic Tumble, has been promised a title match against the champion and was here to cash it in. After belittling the crowd, she belittles all the Dinos she has taken care off, including Tara and Sara Del Rey and soon, Saraya. AJ Mendez and Brooke Tessmacher come out. AJ points out that Kimberly hasn’t actually beaten Sara yet. Brooke agrees that it’s too early to adopt such a moniker. AJ continues, saying that Saraya Knight doesn’t book matches around here - she does. She has no intentions of handing out a title match to Kimberly, unless she does something to deserve it. Like beating Jessica Havock. Right now. With that, J-Hav charges the ring and tackles Kimberly. Rating: **
Kimberly vs Jessica Havock Havock might have felt her title opportunity slip away due to the actions of Kimberly, and attacked her relentlessly from the get-go. The sudden set-up for the match must have surprised Kimberly, and while it can be considered unfair, what goes around, comes around. Havock demolished Kimberly for a couple of minutes before Kimberly got out of harms way when Jessica tried an avalanche in the corner. Kimberly attacked her furiously with a barrage of punches and kicks, before moving over to chokeholds. The referee warned her repeatedly, but in the end she went too far and got herself disqualified. When Kimberly complained to the referee, Jessica recovered and hit the Harlot Slayer on Kimberly when she turned around.
Jessica Havock defeated Kimberly by DQ in 03:48 Rating: **¼
Nattie home with her championship A video airs of the TNAW TV Champion, Nattie Neidhart, visiting her family in Canada with her title belt. As she walks the streets of Calgary, she reminisces about her childhood and growing up with a wrestling family. She says that while the Hart family is world famous, so are the Four Horsemen. And so will the Four Horsewomen be. Wrestling runs in their blood. RD Evans was the man who saw this, and who gathered them under his wing. As JJ Dillon did before him, RD would take them to the top. And nobody, not SexiNation, not Melanie Cruise and Athena.. nobody could stand in their way. The Four Horsewomen is her family now. Rating: ***¼
Rose Martinez vs Sara Del Rey Sara Del Rey is coming off a nice win over Kimberly at Tropic Tumble. The veteran is surely looking to get back on the title track after her injury and her initial problems with Jessica Havock. Many feel that Sara still has one more good run in her. The only thing Rose Martinez felt, was pain, as one of the most sound, but brutal technical wrestlers in the world took her apart piece by piece. In what was more or less a one-sided affair, Sara wrapped it up with the Royal Butterfly.
Sara Del Rey defeated Rose Martinez with the Royal Butterfly in 03:05 Rating: *
Workout video with Tara and Candice A training video with former three times TNAW World Champion Tara and her new partner, Candice LeRae airs. This is a typical workout video where Tara (and to a degree) Candice do different exercises, while telling the viewer how to perform them, which muscles you build and so on. Tara is a fitness instructor and in perfect shape, but you can see that Candice, while no slouch, is lagging behind. Tara laughs, egging her on with motivating words. At the end, Candice collapses on the floor, panting. Tara says that they will update their YouTube channel with new workout videos regularly. Impressive shape for the 43-year old! Rating: ****
Ivelisse w/Sarita vs Amanda Rodriguez SexiNation lies broken and battered, but Sarita and Ivelisse still try to make it to the top together. Ivelisse was in a bad mood tonight, and it didn’t take long for her to get Rodriguez down and force the submission.
Ivelisse defeated A. Rodriguez with the guillotine choke in 00:39 Rating: ¾*
Sitdown interview with Saraya Knight At the interview zone, Josh Matthews is having a chat with the World Champion, Saraya Knight. Josh asks about her promising Kimberly a title shot. Saraya says that she did put in a good word for her with AJ Mendez, but that it ultimately isn’t up to her. She denies that she did this in return for Kimberly’s help, but that she feels Kimberly is an extraordinarily talented worker who deserves it. Josh then points out that in both of her title defense, she has bribed third parties to help her. First The Beautiful People with spa tickets, now Kimberly with hopes about title shots. She will face Serena next week, who will she ask to help her? Saraya gets up and points a finger at Josh. She says that she won that World Title in a gruelling cage match, and she will not have her methods questioned by the likes of him. She demands some respect. Josh asks why she deserves respect, when she clearly doesn’t respect the industry. Saraya then slaps Josh so hard that the folding chair he sits on tips backwards. Saraya tells him the interview is over. Rating: **¾
Athena & Melanie Cruise vs The IV Horsewomen (c’s) (Blanchard & Flair) w/Evans for the TNAW Tag Team Championship
The crowd was torn in this one. On the one hand, The IV Horsewomen is a dream stable come true for the majority of women’s wrestling fans. On the other hand, RD Evans’ actions (or inactions) against his two other clients, Athena and Melanie Cruise have been atrocious to say the least. Tessa and Ashley didn’t ingratiate themselves with anyone coming in either, RD Evans swatting fans’ hands away so that nobody could touch the mythical Four Horsewomen.
Athena was the Horsewoman of Pestilence for a short while, until Melanie Cruise told her that the only reason she was chosen, was because RD Evans felt she would make a good choice for a nude Horsewoman in Playboy. Athena and Cruise have tagged together on several occasions before, and their anger at being abandoned by a man they trusted, showed clearly in the early goings. Tessa and Ashley’s inexperience was evident as the challengers dominated the champions, Athena with her long legs and Cruise with her vicious power moves. The tide changed when RD Evans tripped Athena, but even then, the spirited challengers soon mounted a comeback which saw Melanie hit the Burning Hammer on Ashley. RD Evans pulled the referee out of the ring just as he was about to make the three count. As the ref was admonishing RD, a hooded figure slid into the ring, hitting Melanie with a superkick and taking down Athena with a Samoan drop. It is Sarona Snuka! She is the NEW Horsewomen of Pestilence! She draped Ashley over Athena, and the referee made the cover.
A. Flair & T. Blanchard defeated Athena & M. Cruise when Flair pinned Athena after 08:25 Rating: **¼ (The IV Horsewomen retained the TNAW Tag Team Titles in their 2nd title defense)
IV Horsewomen sets an example The IV Horsewomen weren’t done. RD Evans got on the microphone, berating the booing crowd for turning on their beloved heroes. They, and everyone in the back and at home must’ve realized that the IV Horsemen did everything they could to stay on top, and the IV Horsewomen were not any different. In the ring, Ashley put Melanie in the Figure Eight submission hold as Sarona and Tessa beat up Athena, hitting her once again with a Samoan drop. The four of them made the IV Horsewomen sign as the show went to the end credits. Rating: *¾
AJ and Brooke on a scouting trip As the end credits roll, AJ Mendez and Brooke Tessmacher are in a dark warehouse. AJ talks about all the exciting and breath-taking action that took place at Tropic Tumble, and that their eyes were now set on the next, big event. Through the Gates of Hell. The light comes on, and a huge cage comes into sight. The women unlocks the padlock and walks into the steel cage as AJ announces that on 18th October, whoever holds the TNAW World Title will defend her championship in the annual Through the Gates of Hell match. Four women will enter the cage. Whoever remains when the remaining three have been ejected from the brutal cage, will be the World Champion. While Brooke is still inside the cage, feeling the steel between her fingertips, AJ exits the cage, locking the padlock. Oblivious to Brooke shouting for her to open the lock, AJ smiles, twirls her hair and promises that the careers and lives of the four participating women will never be the same again. Rating: ****
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: The IV Horsewomen and RD Evans have shown their true colors! The fans have turned against them and their new Horsewomen of Pestilence, Sarona Snuka. With Snuka in place, all the four Horsewomen are second or third generation superstars. With so much wrestling in their veins, can anyone stop them?
Don’t forget that next week, Serena’s Playboy issue will be for sale, coincidentally the same week she gets her much coveted rematch against Saraya Knight for the TNAW World Title. Until then!

I've not seen much of her actual in-ring work, if any at all that I can recall. Is Tessa Blanchard any good? Either way, I like this Horsewomen group.
It's still crazy to see wrestlers like Del Rey and Cruise still going strong in TNAW. With the type of roster turnover that you have, to have anyone with that kind of longevity is insane.

To be honest, Tessa would not have been in TNAW if I hadn't thought of the Horsewomen idea. She's not bad, she's just green. She's improving fast though IRL, so I wouldn't be surprised to see her in NXT in a year or two. Don't forget Tara I think Tara and Del Rey are the only two that have been with me from the start.

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 29.08.2015
The Four Horsewomen Tonight’s show opens with a video of the history of The IV Horsewomen in TNAW, their trial and tribulations, their title wins and at the end, their unveiling of Sarona Snuka as the Horsewoman of Pestilence, beating up Athena and Melanie Cruise. We cut to the back, where the Horsewomen are gathered. RD Evans berate the fans for turning at them, saying that in the end, it doesn’t matter if they cheer or boo them. The money, the gold and the prestige is still the same. You don’t have to like them, but you DO need to accept the fact that they are on top of the mountain in TNAW. Sarona says that she is the final, missing piece in the equation. The four of them have it all - power (Snuka), youthful exuberance (Blanchard), athletic prowess (Flair) and the best technical wrestler on the planet (Neidhart). What they have in common though, is more important than everything else. They have wrestling in their blood. And soon, blood will be spilled. The blood of their enemies, that is. Rating: **
Chasity Taylor vs Mia Yim Taylor may have surprised everyone by winning a spot on the roster, but has struggled ever since. Yim’s speed and strikes were hard to overcome for Chasity, who still managed to get a few licks in. One of Mia’s strongest advantages are her legs though, something Chasity felt close up.
Mia Yim defeated Chasity Taylor after 01:52 with the Kick Me Goodnight Rating: ***
SexiNation down on their luck In a dirty, badly cleaned locker room, a disheveled Ivelisse sits dejected. Sarita, dressed in a large men’s shirt with coffee stains on it is eating some ice-cream. Ivelisse asks Sarita what happened to them? They had the gold, they had some class and style. Now, they’ve got nothing. Even Rose Martinez doesn’t want anything to do with them. And Sarita, the fitness competitor, is sitting around eating ice-cream. Sarita says it’s pointless. The IV Horsewomen are too many and too powerful. Ivelisse shakes her head, saying that she didn’t work so hard for 11 years to end her career in a dirty locker room. She is going to get some payback on the Horsewomen, and the best way to do it is to take their gold from them. She’s going after the TV Title. Rating: *
Donna Lee vs Miss Wrestling II The masked woman known only as Miss Wrestling II took on Donna Lee tonight. The feisty brunette has some innovative offense, and perhaps some well-known offense used for another reason. Twerking her bottom in Lee’s face while poised in the corner is still not comfortable, but perhaps a tad better when that Samoan used to do it. We still don’t know the identity of Miss Wrestling II, but we do know that she likes to use a solid belly-to-back facebuster for her wins.
Miss Wrestling II defeated Donna Lee with the Shock Effect in 03:06 Rating: ¾*
Who are you to claim a title match? A video airs of Kimberly walking around backstage shaking her head and muttering to herself. Why can’t she get a title match? She did everything she promised. Suddenly, Sara Del Rey slams her into the wall. Sara tells Kimberly that she obviously has forgotten who won at Tropic Tumble. Things work a certain way in the wrestling business. She cannot lose a match and then claim a title match. But that’s fine, she’s going to get another chance at defeating a veteran, a dinosaur if she so wants. Next week, the two of them will be having a No Holds Barred match. Kimberly grins, telling Del Rey she will beat her. Again. Del Rey shakes her head in disbelief, and calls Kimberly crazy. Rating: *¼
The Beautiful People vs The Pink Ladies The tag division is stronger than ever, as witnessed between these two teams. The Aussie girls (well, Evie is technically from New Zealand) are growing as a team every week. They are starting to show that they mesh together as a team, not only a team with similar, pink outfits. The Beautiful People on the other hand, have been here for years. On and off, yes, and frequently fighting each other as much as others, but they are intrinsically two wrestlers with the same philosophy and outlook on life. This include cheating, and the irritation felt by the Pink Ladies led to mistakes being made and boot meeting face.
The Beautiful People (Love & Sky) defeated The Pink Ladies (McKay & Evie) when A. Love pinned Evie with the Botox Injection in 04:38 Rating: ***¼
TBP calls out LeRae and Tara After the match, Velvet and Angelina call out Candice LeRae and Tara. TBP makes fun of their new training videos, singling out Candice as an unfit competitor. Tara says they should take a look in the mirror themselves. Velvet Sky has obviously went on the same diet as her boyfriend Bully Ray, and by the looks of it, she’s eating all of Love’s food as well. Sky is about to exit the ring, but Love stops her. Love challenges the two of them to two single matches in the following weeks, to shut their mouths for good. Tara and LeRae accept. Rating: *¼
Saraya Knight (c) vs Serena for the TNAW World Title Winning the Ultimate X match at Tropic Tumble gave Serena both an exclusive contract with Playboy Magazine AND a world title match against the woman who took the belt from her at Caged Fury. Serena had to move some boundaries in order to get this far, and was determined to make the best out of it. The intense offense at the start of the match was almost enough to give her an early win, but while the Spear connected, Saraya rolled to the outside. Saraya grabbed the advantage outside of the ring, breaking down Serena by shoving her into guardrails and ring apron. It was all meant to weaken her back for the Bridal Rocking Horse, but when Knight was cinching it in, Serena wriggled out of hit, hitting a gutbuster. Serena was readying the Spear when General Manager AJ Mendez skipped down to the ring, tripping Serena as she was running towards Saraya. Serena turns around to see who tripped her, and is clubbed down from behind by Saraya, who then hits a power bomb. She flips her around and cinchs in the Bridal Rocking Horse. Serena doesn’t want to give up and is inching her way closer and closer to the ropes. Then, we see AJ walk over and order the timekeeper to ring the bell. The referee, Serena, the crowd and even Saraya Knight is surprised to hear the timekeeper. AJ grabs the microphone, announcing Saraya as the winner and still TNAW World Champion.
Saraya Knight (c) defeated Serena in 09:19 Rating: **** (Saraya Knight retained her TNAW World Championship in her 3rd title defense)
Retribution tastes OK AJ Mendez then gets into the ring personally, and hands Saraya Knight her World Title. AJ then plugs the Playboy Magazine, saying that Serena was on her back in the magazine as well, with no BELTS on her. AJ walks around the ring warning everyone in the back that whoever lays their hand on her, ends up like Serena. As she gloats, Serena gets back up. When AJ turns around, Serena spears her! She starts punching away at AJ, but Brooke Tessmacher quickly appears on the stage with security guards, sending them down to get Serena off of her boss. Rating: ****
Show rating: **¾
Show notes: This kind of screwjob hasn’t been seen in the wrestling world in 18 years, but there you have it. Serena never tapped out, and would never have gotten in that position if it hadn’t been for AJ Mendez clearly abusing her position. Catch us next week, as Kimberly battles Sara Del Rey in a No Holds Barred match. Also in action, Candice LeRae & Tara - as well as Sarona Snuka.

TNAW - SATURDAY NIGHT SHOWDOWN - 05.09.2015
Paying a visit We see a video of AJ Mendez and Brooke Tessmacher entering a women’s prison (as guests, that is). AJ talks to a supervisor, thanking for the opportunity to visit their fine facility. The supervisor says he is a big wrestling fan, and that the pleasure is all his. AJ casually unbuttons a button of Brooke’s blouse before asking the supervisor if he’s got what she asked for. The supervisor smiles, saying he has a list of convicts due to release. They are all looking for a job, and have nowhere to go. AJ smiles, saying that it is perfect for her. Prisoners walk past, leering at Brooke who feels uncomfortable being here. AJ then asks the supervisor if she can talk to some of them. Rating: **¾
Andrea vs Sarona Snuka Andrea is a big, local girl of 6’1, the perfect opponent for Sarona Snuka. She has been brought in to be the muscle of the Horsewomen, and as RD Evans explained on commentary, this is a test run for Sarona before facing off against Melanie sometime in the future. Andrea is a big and powerful woman, standing three inches taller than Sarona. The Samoan was not intimidated by it, and the two slugged it out for a minute before Sarona planted her with a spinebuster. A Superfly Splash later and Snuka had picked up her first win back in TNAW.
Sarona Snuka defeated Andrea in 01:51 with the Superfly Splash Rating: ½*
Sitdown with RD and Nattie We then go to a pretaped interview where Josh Matthews speaks with RD about turning the back on the fans. RD objects, claiming it was the fans that turned their backs on them. It was Athena and Cruise who chose to be sore losers and that chose to deny the fact that they would never be Horsewomen OR championship material. They are only two people, they shouldn’t start a war they cannot win. Josh then asks Nattie about the TV Title. Nattie says it means a lot to her, but admits she is destined for greater things. As part of the greatest wrestling family of all times, and now a part of the greatest wrestling stable of all times, they need to be at the top. And right now, they are dominating the middle field. But she is patient, and realizes they need to take care of the defectors first, and ensuring that the Latina gang is out of the picture for good. Nattie knows Ivelisse is gunning for her TV Title, but when she is tapping out to the Sharpshooter, she will know the final defeat. Rating: *¼
Looking for AJ Backstage, Serena is roaming the halls, banging on AJ’s office and trying to find the General Manager, who screwed her royally last week. Chasity Taylor shows up, telling Serena that she is not here tonight. Chasity is obviously not in a great mood, and Serena asks what’s wrong. Chasity says that ever since AJ came, things have gone the wrong way for her. She is not the best wrestler, she knows that. But she is forced to wrestle to keep her job. Sometimes, Chasity should have wished that she lost at Tropic Tumble. Serena tells her to never think like that. Serena promises to train Chasity. She needs all the help she can get in her fight against the general manager. Rating: ****

Heidi Lovelace vs Sarita SexiNation is trying to pick themselves up from the gutter, and getting back on the winning track is a priority for the proud Latinas. Heidi and Sarita engaged in a fine technical encounter with a lot of back-and-forth interaction, Sarita staying within the limits of the rulebook this time, clearly showing a change of heart. She and Lovelace even shook hands after one exchange which ended in a stalemate. SexiNation might be in a rut, but Sarita is still an excellent grappler, and when she caught Heidi in the chickenwing, the former TV Champion had no choice but to tap out.

Kimberly vs Sara Del Rey - No Holds Barred The main event started already in the aisle, as Kimberly ran out to “greet” Sara with a kick to the gut. They fought on the outside for a couple of minutes before visiting the ring for a short while, allowing the match to be officially started. Del Rey controlled large parts of the match, using the apron, ring steps and announce table as weapons against Kimberly. Josh and Renee had to announce standing up after Kimberly was bodyslammed through it. Kimberly fought back, sending Sara crashing into the ringpost. As Kimberly was pounding on Sara on the outside, Jessica Havock ran in and joined the fray, hitting Kimberly with a chokeslam in the ring. When Sara got up, Del Rey received the same treatment. Havock stood there like a T-Rex in the jungle, screaming from her lungs, when Saraya Knight entered the fray, knocking down J-Hav with her belt. When Sara got back on her feet, she received the same treatment. Kimberly seized the opportunity, making the pinfall.
Kimberly defeated Sara Del Rey by pinfall in 07:18 Rating: **
Brawl continues The brawl between the four continued as the ref got out of dodge. Knight didn’t get far before she was caught by Havock and chokeslammed. Kimberly showed up behind her, dumping the big woman outside. She then climbed on top, hitting a cross body to the outside. Kimberly slammed Havock’s head into the ring steps. As Kimberly got back into the ring to pick up the shiny World Title, Sara hit the koppo kick on her. Before Sara got grab hold of the world title, Saraya grabbed it and rolled out of the ring. The title picture is really heating up, and it wouldn’t come as a surprise if it is these four who will do battle in the Through the Gates of Hell match. Rating: ****
Visit continues We go back to the women’s prison, where the sleazy supervisor is walking with AJ and Brooke through the prison. He’s asking AJ if she has found someone that fits the bill yet. AJ says that there are some promising candidates, but she would like to meet the last one as well. With a name like that, she is bound to have wrestling in her blood. They enter a cell, and the camera focus changes to the point of the prisoner. The prisoner gets up from the bed, and we see both AJ and Brooke look up at this obviously tall woman. AJ smiles as Brooke cowers a little. AJ tells the supervisor that this one is perfect. Rating: **¾
