I'm guessing we might be headed to a title vs. career match for Kong and Tara? Looking forward to seeing what the stip actually ends up being.
Enjoyed the card as usual, sorry it took so long to give some feedback. Everything is kind of on a slow build towards the next PPV, but that is probably a good thing after a lot of feuds concluced at Through the Gates.

TNAW StarStruck - 04.12.2010Girls Gone Wild (Sarita & Martinez) w/Sweeney vs LuFisto & TorresAs Larry Sweeney led his new protegees out to their match against the makeshift tag-team of LuFisto and Eve Torres, superagent Larry Sweeney barely let go of the sultry Sarita. As he sat down next to the announcers, Dave asked when the wedding was and how many babies they were gonna have. Sweeney said 'no babies', can't win matches and belts with a pregnant stomach. LuFisto hasn't been around since the brutal match against Nattie at Through the Gates of Hell, and favored her leg throughout the match. She tried to break up the pin after Sarita's tiger driver, but her leg buckled. Looks like Girls Gone Wild is primed and ready for their big match at Pride and Glory though! After the match, Torres helped LuFisto out of the ring area, her leg obviously not entirely healed. Girls Gone Wild (Sarita and Mercedes Martinez) defeated LuFisto and Eve Torres when Sarita pinned Eve with the Tiger Driver in 0:04:38. Rating: *** So Cal Val interviews Gail KimSo Cal Val wants some answers from Gail Kim on why she attacked Jennifer Blake after her match with Hamada last week, and Gail Kim is glad to oblige. Kim blames Blake for The KongTourage not regaining their belts two weeks ago. Blake had no business staying next to the ring when Gail and Bolt fought Velvet and Madison, and no business interfering in their match. When Val tries to point out that all Blake did was prevent Gail from making an illegal save, Gail shouts at Val and pushes her down. She turns to the camera and tells Blake to watch out. ODB vs Sojourner Bolt w/NanaPrince Nana seems to take less and less interest in The KongTourage, and spent the entirety of the match sitting at the announce table and talking about how Tara would regret entering into their agreement. Lauren tries to pry out of him what she agreed to, but Nana said they all had to wait until he deemed it necessary to disclose it. ODB and Bolt had a nice and competitive match, which ODB picked up after a running powerslam. As Bolt and Nana exited, the Prince bad mouthing Bolt for disappointing him again, Miss Elizabeth slid into the ring and clubbed a celebrating ODB from the back. Elizabeth gave ODB a few stiff forearms before putting a boot in her gut and dropping her on her head with the Stamford Slam. The camera caught Elizabeth saying to ODB to leave her alone. ODB pinned Sojourner Bolt after a running powerslam in 0:04:52. Rating: *** 1/4 Hemme welcomes the Social ClubGeneral Manager Christy Hemme is in her office working when two women dressed in black enters. Christy says that they must be Annie Social and Melanie Coley - The Social Club. She says she's glad they could make it to this tryout match against the champions - The Beautiful People. The smaller women, Annie Social, really looks like someone from the Addams Family, while Melanie Coley is a tall, bronze-hued muscled woman. Social is the talker of the two, saying that they have applied for a tryout match for 10 months now, so it was about damn time. Hemme laughs it off, and says that this match is non-title, of course, but if they perform well, they might get offered a contract. Social says they'll do more than well - they'll beat the champs! The Beautiful People (Love & Sky) vs The Social Club (Social & Coley)The dark-clad, raven-haired girls in The Social Club was a stark contrast with the blonde tag-team champs, and they didn't waste any time making their mark, attacking the Beautiful People as they were doing their infamous booty-shaking entrance. After the match settled down, the big Coley dominated Love for some time, slamming her down with a side slam. Love didn't want to be made a fool by this newcomer, and took her down with a flying cross body. Even though the Social Club has wrestled together on the independent scene, wrestling in front of the cameras and this big crowd was perhaps a little too much for them. Melanie Coley got distracted by the crowd giving her a good time, and couldn't reach out in time as Sky dropped Social with the Beauty Mark. The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) defeated The Social Club (Annie Social and Melanie Coley) when Sky pinned Social with the Beauty Mark in 0:07:10. Rating: ** 3/4 Sweeney and Del Rey meetingSara Del Rey catches hold of her agent as he and Sarita makes their way through the hallway. He tells Sarita he'll catch up with her later, and asks Del Rey what's up. Sara tells Larry that she wants him to give her a big match for the next PPV. Larry says he's devoting all his time and energy focusing on Girls Gone Wild's tag title match right now. As he sees Sara's disappointment, he laughs and tells her she's got a match right now - against Hamada. Sara gets mad, asking why he couldn't have told her sooner. Sweeney says he must've been busy with something. Sara rushes off to get geared up. Hamada vs Sara Del Rey w/SweeneySara Del Rey and Hamada are two of the best wrestlers in the world, and they put on a wrestling clinic here tonight. They started with chain-wrestling and mat-based catch wrestling before moving to a standing position, exchanging devastating blows and kicks. Del Rey was close with a beautiful german suplex with a bridge, while Hamada went high risk on two occasions, connecting with a missile dropkick and a moonsault for 2,8. Del Rey tackled Hamada and fastened a leglock on Hamada, but the Japanese star reversed it into a small package for two. Del Rey got back on her feet, hitting a rolling cradle on Hamada. Hamada put her leg on the bottom rope, but Larry Sweeney, who had stayed passive on the outside for the most time, pushed it down (while talking on the phone with Sarita). After the match, Sweeney took most of the credit for her win, telling the camera that he was the brain behind Del Rey's success. Sara Del Rey pinned Hamada after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:09:46. Rating: *** 3/4 [Larry Sweeney interfered against Hamada.] Prince Nana discloses the stipulationPrince Nana and Queen Kong come to the ring, ready to reveal what Tara agreed to last week. Nana states that no matter the outcome of the match, Tara will not be forced to leave TNAW, cut her hair, remove some article of clothings or act as a slave for the Queen. No, when Tara loses to Kong at Pride and Glory, Tara will not receive another title shot against Kong or, if some sort of force majeure would rob Kong of the title, anyone else wearing the TNAW World Title, in 1 full year, or until Tara has defeated each and everyone on the TNAW roster besides the champ. Nana says he will look forward to seeing Tara try and claw her way back to the top. As the champ and her prince laugh at this, Tara runs in and takes out Kong's knee with a shoulder tackle. She stomps away on the champ's leg, before grabbing hold of Nana and tossing him out of the ring. Tara goes for a standing moonsault, but Kong lifts her knees. As the champ and the challenger get ready to fight it out, the locker room empties with wrestlers and referees, holding them apart as the show comes to an end. Card rating: *** 1/4 Match observations: Well, we all know what's in the stipulation from Prince Nana. Not the worst of stipulations, but Tara should know that this will be her last attempt at the title until 2012. Their match at Pride and Glory should be one to behold. The Beautiful People and Girls Gone Wild are both ready for their title match at Pride and Glory, and it looks like another team - The Social Club - are on their way to TNAW. The tag team scene is heating up! Del Rey stole a victory over Hamada in a close-fought victory, and Hamada has already requested a rematch next week! Don't miss it!

TNAW StarStruck - 11.12.2010
"The New" Miss Elizabeth vs ODB
StarStruck opened with Miss Elizabeth coming out to the ring with a mic. She calls out ODB, saying that she wants her in the ring, right now. ODB obliges, running towards the ring and hitting a spear on Elizabeth. ODB dominates ODB with her aggressive opening, connecting with the Bronco Buster before Elizabeth took some time on the outside. Elizabeth dragged ODB out after her legs, slamming her into the apron. The match continued both inside and outside of the ring, both of them sliding into the ring occasionally to stop the count. Ref Rosenberg started to lose his patience, especially when Miss Elizabeth brought forth a chair from beneath the ring. He grabbed it as Elizabeth was about to crack it on ODB's head and threw it away. The chair did come back to haunt ODB though, as Miss Elizabeth a short while later connected with an ODB onto the chair on the outside. Due to the height difference from Rosenbergs vantage point, ref Rosenberg didn't see the use of an illegal object. Elizabeth rolled ODB back in and made the pin.
Miss Elizabeth defeated ODB via pinfall in 0:07:29. Rating: *** 1/4
Nattie video We see video footage from Nattie Neidhart lounging on the Miami Beach in a Maple Leaf bikini. She's nursing a pina colada and says that she doesn't see the need to train or wrestle before the PPV. She's beaten Hamada and LuFisto at her own game, so why bother with a nobody like Madison Rayne. She says she knows Rayne has a match with Tara tonight, so she's sent daddy Jim to scout, just in case.
Madison Rayne vs Tara
Facing the former TNAW World Champion might be the biggest challenge of Madison's career, and even though a loss wouldn't necessarily make her look too bad 8 days before her Maiden Title match against Nattie, a good showing would give her the confidence boost she needs. Tara didn't make it easy for her though, knocking her loopy with a series of hard elbows. Madison went on fire later on, hitting a series of clotheslines and a senton. A yakuza kick sent Tara out of the ring, and when she got back up, Rayne tried to keep her out of the ring by kicking at her. Ref Mattano scolded Madison for doing this, turning her back on Tara on the outside. This gave Queen Kong the opportunity to run out and slam Tara not one, not two, but three times into the guardrail. The lights were out for Tara, who couldn't answer the 10-bell.
Madison Rayne defeated Tara by countout in 0:04:58. Rating: *** [Queen Kong interfered against Tara.]
Nattie video We see another video from Nattie. She's lies on a lounger, a guy rubbing lotion on her back. Nattie's getting a little tipsy now, and talks about whether she should make Rayne tap out to the Sharpshooter or maybe use a power bomb. The phone rings, and it's Madison. Nattie asks what she wants, and she's probably told Rayne defeated Tara, because she pushes away her sun lotion-boy and starts packing her things. "I need to get to the gym", she says as she runs off.
Interview with Del Rey & Sweeney Larry Sweeney interrupts Sara as his client is stretching. He asks if she's ready for her rematch against Hamada. Sara says that she is, and that she doesn't need his help. Sweeney doesn't know what she's talking about. Sara tells him to let her do this on her own.
The Beautiful People (Blake & von Erich) vs The KongTourage (Bolt & Kim) w/Nana
The KongTourage is really in a slump nowadays, taking on the Beautiful People "B-Team" of Jen Blake and Lacey von Erich. It just looks like the spirit's run out of them. Still, they managed to isolate Lacey early on, fast-tagging in order to keep von Erich in the ring. Lacey finally caught a break when Kim went for a backdrop, hitting a sunset flip for two. The two of them tried several different pinning maneuvers on each other in quick succession after this, but nobody got the 3. Kim made the tag to Bolt, but instead of taking a break on the apron, she attacked Jennifer on hers. Gail has blamed Blake for the KongTourage's failure to recapture the tag team titles. In the ring, Lacey connected with a swinging neckbreaker on Bolt before locking on the Iron Claw. It was sort of ironic that Jen Blake kept Gail Kim from making the save this match too.
The Beautiful People (Jennifer Blake and Lacey Von Erich) defeated The Kongtourage (Gail Kim and Sojourner Bolt) when Lacey made Bolt submit to the Iron Claw in 0:06:38. Rating: *** [Prince Nana interfered against Jennifer Blake.]
Prince Nana has had enough After the match, Prince Nana broke up the brawling between Kim and Blake, and then the tension rose as Queen Kong made her way to the ring. Nana ordered Kim back in the ring, and he and Kong joined them. Lacey and Jennifer thought, perhaps, that Kong was there to attack them, but could fortunately leave the ring area unmolested. Nana goes on a tirade about how terrible they are as wrestlers and how disappointed he is in them. He simply can't afford to be associated with losers. While Bolt tries to explain herself, Gail is savy enough to understand where this is going, and pushes Bolt into Kong before getting the heck out of dodge. Kong takes down Bolt with the Queen's Fury, Nana saying: "You are the weakest link, goodbye!"
Hamada vs Sara Del Rey w/Sweeney
Sara Del Rey and Hamada put on a terrific match last week, and they picked up exactly where they left off. Del Rey worked on Hamada's head and neck area, trying to cut off her oxygen supply by using various head- and chinlocks. Hamada went more for high impact moves, drilling Del Rey's head into the ground with a swinging DDT. She also used the turnbuckles frequently, hitting both a moonsault and a top-rope frankensteiner. The match went outside, where Del Rey reversed an irish whip attempt, sending Hamada face first into the ringpost. Still, she couldn't capitalize on it, as Hamada kicked out of the next pin attempt and hit a small package out of nowhere. Superagent Sweeney appeared to be losing his patience on the outside. He had already avoided a couple of good opportunities to interfere because of Sara's wishes, but as he saw Hamada whip Del Rey against the ropes, Sweeney turned around and stretched out his arm to trip Hamada. The thing is, Hamada reversed the whip, and it was Del Rey who got tripped by Sweeney. As Sara was yelling at Sweeney, she lost focus on Hamada. The star from the far east took Del Rey down with the Hamada Driver to make the score between them 1-1.
Hamada pinned Sara Del Rey with the Hamada Driver in 0:10:32. Rating: *** 3/4
Card rating: *** 1/2
Another terrific StarStruck is in the books!
The war between Tara and Queen Kong is escalating, Kong causing Tara an upset loss against the Maiden Title challenger, Madison Rayne. Kong also delivered Sojourner Bolt her "pink slip" later in the evening. Gail Kim status with Prince Nana is still unknown.

4.12.00: - Pretty good win for GGW. I'm enjoying their interaction with Sweeney. The comment from Sweeney about the pregnant stomach got a chuckle out of me. - Wow, really like the idea of throwing a picture in to the card to show what some of these women look like. Helps me visualize things a bit better. Obviously not needed for certain wrestlers like ODB and Miss Elizabeth, but for people that are still on the indies it would be a nice touch. - I'm glad the Social Club lost to the more established team, but I hope they earned a contract. Seem like the could be a fun duo. - The dissention between Sweeney and Del Rey is one of my favorite angles you have running. I like the slow build. It will be weird if they separate since whenever I think of one I also think of the other. - Hamada sure has kind of fallen off after her feud with Neidhart. - I like the stip for Tara and Kong's match. Now I'm not really sure who will take the win, but it would be interesting to see Tara try and go through the entire roster. Good show, sorry for the late reply. I plan on reading the next card in the near future. I've been pretty busy with some real life stuff, but I haven't forgotten one of my favorite circuits.

Thanks for the comments Josh, I know that people's interest in a circuit isn't as great if they've no idea of who the wrestlers are, so a picture might go a long way Just let me know if there are any others you want me to include a pic of. I'm a little bummed out about Hamada. She constantly puts on 3 stars+, but it's kinda hard to write angles for her. I'm hoping I'll be able to write a good one for her in 2011. I'm missing WCW, hope you get some time to write for it during the holidays

- Surprised Miss Elizabeth went over ODB here. I was figuring there'd be a DQ or something leading in to a PPV match. It was a little shady so you might still have something up your sleeve.
- I really like the almost "tweener" version of Rayne. It really gives some extra personality to a member of TBP and makes her a threat against Nattie.
- I didn't expect the Kongtourage to fall so quickly after losing the tag straps. I am enjoying the Kim-Blake stuff though. Bolt seems kind of like an afterthought at this point.
- Ha! Love the beatdown at the end of the tag match. Also happy to see somebody finally realizes what is going on with a heel manager is mad at them for losing a match. I knew the beatdown was coming and so it was nice to see that Gail Kim knew it too. Very fun. I'm assuming Bolt is either gone or heading to jobberville.
I'm sad that Kongtourage didn't last longer, but they were kind of running in place.
- Nice way to use Del Rey's problems with Sweeney to get Hamada a victory after my last comments. I understand your problems with Hamada. She's somebody you wouldn't mind pushing and enjoy, but she isn't the easiest to write and hard to get her into certain angles. I have the same problem with Johnny B. Badd for some odd reason.
- Good stuff, I really like the fact that you gave Rayne the victory over Tara even if it was via countout and Kong's interference.
Looking forward to Pride and Glory. I'll give predictions next card.

There are a lot of people that I need to find pictures of (Del Rey, Bolt, Sarita, Martinez, LuFisto)...but don't go to the hassle of looking them up. I'll try and get that done when I'm bored. WCW will return...I even have half of the next card written. Writer's block is not a friend of mine. I know what I want to happen, just not enjoying the writing. Probably because I'm focused on other things. But it will be back.

Yeah, Bolt's gone. I simply didn't want her contract extended and had to free up Kim for some other stuff (not the Blake mini feud though).
Maybe I'll post pictures of the wrestlers for the PPVs? I know they do it like this on the TEW Diaries Board.
One thing I've noticed - I write the dates European style DD.MM.YY instead of the US style of MM.DD.YY. Is that confusing?

TNAW StarStruck - 18.12.2010
Jim setting up a match for Nattie As StarStruck opens, Madison Rayne and Nattie Neidhart is arguing backstage on whether or not Madison's victory over Tara counts. Nattie's saying that daddy Jim is on his way back from talking to Christy about getting a match against a top-notch opponent herself. Jim Neidhart returns beaming, telling Nattie that she has a match against Eve Torres. Nattie asks Jim if that's the best he could've done - Madison got a match against Tara for crying out loud! Madison laughs at Nattie as the Maiden champ goes to prepare.
Eve Torres vs Nattie Neidhart
Nattie felt perhaps that she should've faced a tougher opponent than Eve in her preparations for the Maiden Title match against Madison Rayne, and Torres used this to her advantage in the opening minutes, kicking her in the skull with an enzuigiri. Nattie finally started taking Eve seriously, connecting with a release german suplex for two. After an airplane spin, Torres was too dizzy to duck a clothesline. Nattie then cinched in the Sharpshooter to make Torres submit.
Nattie Neidhart made Eve Torres submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:07:51. Rating: ** 1/2
Sit-down interview with ODB
So Cal Val had a sitdown interview with ODB about Miss Elizabeth and their match at Pride and Glory. ODB said that something happened with Liz in that cage at Through the Gates of Hell. Not everyone can handle what happens in the cage, the physical and mental torture that everyone suffers. ODB says that Elizabeth is not a bad person, she just feels alone and makes the wrong choices. She says she knows how that is, as she went through a bad spell herself earlier this year. All she needed was a friend. ODB says that she hopes she and Elizabeth can become friends some day. After ODB's kicked her ass tomorrow, of course.
Prince Nana and Gail Kim backstage Gail Kim is on her way to the ring when Prince Nana stops her. He says he's heard she's going up against Jennifer Blake at Pride and Glory. Gail asks 'what about it?' Nana says, win or lose, he wants nothing more to do with her. Kim tells him and Kong to stay out of her way, and not to try and put her out of commission, like with Bolt.
Gail Kim vs. LuFisto
Gail has been ejected from Prince Nana's entourage, but has still a match tomorrow night against the girl she personally blames for her misfortune. Her opponent tonight was LuFisto, who got her leg seriously banged up at Through the Gates of Hell, and who still has problems doing much with it. This was clear when she buckled at a suplex attempt, allowing Kim to connect with an arm trap neckbreaker. LuFisto fought back with forearms and chops standing on one leg, but Kim took out her leg and hit the Eat Defeat for the victory.
Gail Kim pinned LuFisto with the Eat Defeat in 0:05:48. Rating: *** 1/2
Angelina Love w/Velvet Sky vs Sarita w/Mercedes Martinez & Larry Sweeney
Girls Gone Wild's challenging The Beautiful People tomorrow for the tag-team titles, but tonight it was one-on-one action between Sarita and Angelina. Sarita started out with an array of lucha moves, armdragging Angelina all over the ring. At the announce booth, Sweeney told Dave that that's his girl! Love broke Sarita's momentum with a jawbreaker, hitting a DDT for a close call. The two fought back and forth for several minutes, «Miss Wrestling» locking on the Choke Sleeper after six minutes. Ref Mattano didn't see Sweeney get up from his seat and place Sarita's foot on the rope. This brought Velvet Sky down to the ring to shout at Sweeney, until she was clubbed in the back by Mercedes Martinez! As the two fought on the outside, ref Mattano got distracted, leading to Sweeney tripping up Love. Eventually, the ref ejected all three from ringside. Seeing her sweetheart ejected like this distracted Sarita, allowing Love to lock on the Choke Sleeper. Sarita fought like crazy to get out of it, but at last passed out. Tremendous match from two of the most athletic and gifted women in professional wrestling today!
Angelina Love defeated Sarita when Sarita passed out in the Choke Sleeper in 0:11:41. Rating: **** [Velvet Sky interfered against Sarita.] [Mercedes Martinez interfered against Angelina Love.]
Backstage assault Velvet and Angelina are celebrating their win backstage, Velvet commenting that it's too bad that Lacey and Jennifer aren't here tonight. All of a sudden, Sarita and Mercedes attack from behind, led by an infuriated Larry Sweeney! Love is bodyslammed by Martinez on the concrete floor, while Sarita tosses Velvet into a wall. Sweeney tells them to take a good, last look at those shiny tag belts, for it's the last they'll ever see of them. Madison comes whistling, suddenly shocked to see her friends laid out. She screams and asks what's going on. Angelina asks where she was, and why they can't rely on her to watch their back. Madison gets defensive and Angelina gets confrontational, but Velvet calms them down, telling them that they all have important matches tomorrow to prepare for.
Queen Kong w/Prince Nana vs. Shark Girl
Queen Kong had a final preparation match tonight against Shark Girl. The pink shark could do little to nothing to stop the behemoth champion who tossed Shark Girl around like a rag doll. She wasn't in the mood to play with the shark though, as she quickly locked in a bearhug for the win.
Queen Kong defeated Shark Girl when Shark Girl passed out in a bearhug in 0:04:28. Rating: **
Aftermath After the bell rang, Queen Kong didn't let go of Shark Girl, squeezing the life out of the poor creature. She didn't let go until she saw Tara running into towards the ring. Tara slid into the ring, and the two women started laying fists at each other. Tara's flurry seemed to take Kong a little by surprise, as the champ was backed into a corner. Prince Nana got in the ring and clubbed Tara in the back. It wasn't that hard, but it was enough to give Kong a moment's respite and hit Tara with a backfist. She kept on attacking, but missed a splash allowing Tara to hit the Widow's Peak on Kong! The Era of Kong's in jeopardy, can Tara defeat her tomorrow night? Or will Tara be forced to wait one whole year for another shot at the grand prize in women's wrestling?
Card rating: ***
Tomorrow night will see our final PPV of the year, as Pride and Glory comes to you. Here is the card:
Jennifer Blake vs Gail Kim - the former tag champ, Gail Kim, blames Jennifer for not regaining the coveted belts. Since that time, Kim has lost her tag team partner, her manager and her alliance with the sovereign Queen Kong. Tomorrow night, Gail wants her revenge!
Girls Gone Wild vs The Beautiful People - With Larry Sweeney as their manager, a title shot was not far away for Mercedes and Sarita. Can Velvet and Angelina defend their belt successfully against the feisty latinas? And will Larry Sweeney behave himself ringside?
Hamada vs Sara Del Rey - These two brilliant wrestlers are 1-1 in wins after a couple of exciting matches on StarStruck. Tomorrow night, one of these girls will be able to claim superiority against the other. Normally, Del Rey would have the advantage due to her superagent, but as of late, Sweeney hasn't focused all that much on Sara. Maybe Hamada can use this?
Madison Rayne vs Nattie Neidhart for the Maiden Title - After winning the Gauntlet at Through the Gates of Hell, the former tag-team champion emerged as the top contender for the Maiden Title. The Beautiful People member has had some issues with the other girls in TBP as of late, but a win here tonight would go a long way of making Rayne happy. The third generation Candian superstar has no way of giving Rayne an easy fight, though.
ODB vs Miss Elizabeth - after being part of the brutal Through the Gates of Hell match last month, Miss Elizabeth has lost it. She has attacked people backstage, and continued the assault on defeated opponents after the match. ODB is trying to put a stop to this, and has challenged Liz to a match here tomorrow night.
Tara vs Queen Kong for the TNAW World Title - after losing the belt to Kong at Tropic Tumble, Tara has been on a quest to regain the title. That quest ends here tonight, one way or another. If Tara wins, she's completed her quest. If she loses, she cannot challenge for the title in one full year, or until she has defeated every single one of the girls on the TNAW roster.
See you tomorrow!

TNAW Pride And Glory - 19.12.2010
[Dark Match] LuFisto defeated Lacey Von Erich when Lacey Von Erich passed out in a cross armbreaker in 0:05:49. Rating: * 1/2
Gail Kim vs. Jennifer Blake
It's time for the final PPV of 2010. The returning Mickie James sang the "Star Spangled Banner" to kick-start this PPV, which began with a grudge match between Gail Kim and Jennifer Blake. Kim, who has held the tag team titles with two different women during the year, blames Blake for her current misfortune. She is persona non grata with her former manager Prince Nana, and only her savvy and experience kept her from a severe beating from Kong, a beating which sent Sojourner Bolt packing. Her anger with Blake led to Kim doing several mistakes in the opening, allowing Blake to hit a barrage of chops followed by the Perfect driver for a 2-count. Kim softened up Blake with several kicks to her thigh, and later locked in the acrobatic Cristo submission maneuver. Close to the 10 minute mark of the match, Gail pulled ref Remsburg in the path of a Jen Blake springboard dropkick, sending the hapless referee out of the ring. This was also a mistake by Kim, who actually hit the Eat Defeat right after. With no ref to count, Blake could recover. The ever so cheerful Lacey von Erich helped Remsburg back to his feet. Frustrated, Kim went for a suplex, but Blake slid down her back and hit a perfect superkick and made the cover. A big win for Jennifer Blake!
Jennifer Blake pinned Gail Kim after a superkick in 0:10:40. Rating: *** 1/4
Sara Del Rey outburst Backstage, Larry Sweeney is prepping Sarita and Mercedes for their tag-team title matches against the Beautiful People. Sara Del Rey enters in street clothes, angrily slams her bags down and grabs Sweeney by his collar. Apparently, Sweeney forgot to arrange for transportation for the airport for Del Rey, forcing her to wait for an hour and then take the bus. Her match is up shortly, and she has had no time to prepare. Sweeney apologizes, blaming the stress of preparing his team for the title match. Sarita interjects that he's been busy with other things as well, smiling seductively at Sweeney. Del Rey pushes Sarita away, telling her that sleeping her way to the top is NOT the right way of doing it. The two almost come to blows, but Sweeney and Martinez separate the two.
The Beautiful People (Love & Sky) w/von Erich (c's) vs Girls Gone Wild (Sarita & Martinez) w/Sweeney for the TNAW Tag Team Titles
Sweeney barely had time to straighten out his suit before the very important title match of Girls Gone Wild. TBP got off to a good start with Blake defeating Gail Kim, and a win here would bring them up to 2-0. Girls Gone Wild are beginning to show some terrific teamwork however, and Sarita's speed and Mercedes strength and brutality was a combination that the blonde champions had trouble finding countermeasures for. Sarita pulled out several quick pinning maneuvers in a row against Sky, trying to make a fast pin. Sarita and Martinez isolated Sky, and when Sky finally was able to hit Sarita with a clothesline, Larry Sweeney had pulled Love down from the apron. At last, she hit a jawbreaker on Martinez, ducked the savate kick and made the tag. Angelina Love came in a house on fire, decking both Girls Gone Wild members with clotheslines and dropkicks, putting Martinez in the Choke Sleeper. Sarita broke it up, but was sent out by Sky. Velvet dragged Love back to her corner, tagged but was hit with a boot to the gut. As Sweeney tended to his beloved Sarita on the outside, Martinez went for a fisherman buster, but Sky slid down her back and hit the Beauty Mark for the win.
The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky) defeated Girls Gone Wild (Sarita and Mercedes Martinez) when Sky pinned Martinez with the Beauty Mark in 0:14:55. Rating: *** 1/2 (The Beautiful People retained the TNAW Tag-Team Titles.) [Larry Sweeney interfered against Angelina Love.] [Larry Sweeney interfered against Velvet Sky.]
A disappointed Larry Sweeney had to comfort his girls as The Beautiful People is two for two so far tonight. Later, Madison Rayne may become the Maiden Champion!
Hamada vs Sara Del Rey
Larry Sweeney probably had some work to do backstage, as he wasn't present for Sara's match against Hamada until the 10 minute mark. What Sweeney had missed, was one of the hardest fought battles in TNAW history. These two have tremendous stamina and both punches as hard as horses kick. The opening minutes saw a lot of ground work by both, almost like MMA grappling. They were looking for openings for submission moves, working over joints to soften each other up for later. When Sweeney did come out, the match had progressed from the ring and to the outside. Hamada had done a number on Del Reys back, smashing her into the guard rail and had, despite ref Remsburg's warnings, draped Del Rey over the announce table. Sweeney tried to pull Hamada down from the apron, but was kicked in the jaw for his trouble. This gave Del Rey enough time to move away from the moonsault, and Hamada crashed and burned. While Sweeney shouted to Sara to take the countout victory, Del Rey had other plans. She dragged Hamada back into the ring and hit the Butterfly suplex - only to have Hamada kick out! For several minutes, Del Rey tried to put Hamada away with various power moves, smashing her face with a koppo kick and hitting a spinebuster for two. She tried the piledriver too, but Hamada backdropped her. Out of nowhere, Hamada hit the Hamada Driver, but Del Rey got her arm up. Hamada's martial arts background came into play as she hit a spinning thrust kick at Del Rey and then climbed up for the moonsault and the 3-count. In 30 minutes, Larry Sweeney had lost both his matches. The super agent took out his frustrations on Del Rey, scolding her for not taking the countout win when she had the opportunity.
Hamada pinned Sara Del Rey after a moonsault in 0:16:42. Rating: **** 1/4 [Larry Sweeney interfered against Hamada.]
The Social Club holds the ring hostage Suddenly, strange metal music fills the speakers, and Annie Social and Melanie Coley - The Social Club - enters. The two somber, black-clad girls walk slowly to the ring, and Annie Social grabs a mic. She says that they never heard anything from Christy Hemme after their tryout match at StarStruck earlier this month, and that this is just typical of mainstream women's wrestling. She tells the crowd that they are a really successful tag-team on the independent scene, but that companies such as TNAW is not interested in girls that aren't blonde, beautiful or "boobed-up". At the announce table, Lauren snorts and says that if Annie's are real, she'll be surprised. Coley ends the short promo by saying they will not leave the ring until they get an answer. The crowd boos at the two-some, but cheers as Christy Hemme comes out. Christy says that they did OK in their match at StarStruck, apologizes for not giving them a reply, but says that they will not make a decision on new signing until the start of the next year. She then warns them that if they do NOT leave the ring, they will definitely not get a job. After conversing with Coley, Social decides to leave the ring.
Madison Rayne vs Nattie Neidhart (c) w/Jim Neidhart for the TNAW Maiden Title
After this short, unplanned intermission, it was time for the Maiden Title match. The Beautiful People could really make a home run here tonight if Madison won the title, but current champ, third generation superstar Nattie Neidhart, wanted it differently. It was a surprisingly clean match in the first ten, with manager Jim Neidhart standing on the outside giving advice and encouragement, keeping his hands clean. After some back-and-forth technical action between the girls, Madison hit a frankensteiner and then a leg lariat on the two-time champ. Madison held the advantage until she missed a clothesline in the corner, allowing Nattie to redden Rayne's chest with a series of chops. Rayne was then taken on a tour with the airplane spin, but when Nattie went for a german suplex right after, she was too dizzy herself and both tumbled out of the ring. They brawled briefly, before Rayne reversed an irish whip and sent Nattie head first into the guard rail. As Madison climbed back in to see if she could win by countout, Jim splashed water in the eyes of Nattie. When Madison complained to the ref regarding the legality of this, Jim slipped her a red elbow pad, which Nattie quickly slid on. When Madison saw that Nattie was on her way back into the ring, she hit her with baseball slide and went out after her again. Nattie clocked her in the jaw with an elbow, and Madison went down as if she had been shot. Nattie and Jim rolled Madison back into the ring, and Nattie made the pin.
Nattie Neidhart defeated Madison Rayne via pinfall in 0:13:32. Rating: ** 1/2 (Nattie Neidhart retained the TNAW Maiden Title.)
As Lacey von Erich and Jennifer Blake went down to check on Madison, Dave Prazak has some suspicions about the way Nattie won this. What's in the elbow pad?
Miss Elizabeth vs ODB
ODB and Miss Elizabeth were two out of four participants in the career threatening match that is the Through the Gates of Hell match earlier this fall. After her loss, Elizabeth started attacking random girls backstage, prompting ODB to take offense. Tonight, these women faced each other in a match where fists were flying from the bell. ODB treated Miss Elizabeth to the ever popular 10-fists in the corner move, drawing an enthusiastic count from the crowd. Miss Elizabeth doesn't lose often though, and a neckbreaker attempt at the 5-minute mark was hardly enough to put her away. Ever since ODB came back from rehab, she has wrestled with the heart of a young rookie. You could very well say that by sending her to rehab, Hemme has given ODB a rejuvenation. Still, when the Flying Thesz Press is not enough to defeat "The NEW" Miss Elizabeth, ODB had to do some quick thinking. She went for another Flying Thesz Press, but Elizabeth grabbed her by the throat, slowly squeezing the life out of her. When she was warned of a DQ loss by ref Rosenberg, Miss Elizabeth dropped ODB with the double-arm choke slam to win this match. Elizabeth left the ring without inflicting further pain on ODB though.
Miss Elizabeth pinned ODB after a double-arm choke slam in 0:10:34. Rating: *** 1/4
TBP backstage celebration The Beautiful People is celebrating their 2 wins backstage. Jen Blake has just opened a bottle of champagne, pouring the alcohol into glasses and cleavages alike. Velvet asks where Madison is, but the others do not know. Velvet brings a glass with her, walking down a corridor until finding Madison sitting on a stairwell, crying. Velvet tries to give her a glass of champagne, but Madison says she has nothing to celebrate. Velvet gets angry, telling her that she should celebrate with them. She has nothing to be ashamed of, she probably had the most difficult match of them all, and that elbow pad must've been loaded. Madison swats the glass of champagne away, breaking the glass on the floor. She tells Velvet to leave her alone. Velvet walks away, telling Madison to suit herself. As Madison continues to sulk, we see someone watching from the shadows, laughing quietly.
Queen Kong (c) w/Prince Nana vs Tara for the TNAW World Title
It's time for YOUR main event of the evening. It's the final match on the final PPV for the year, and also the final TNAW match of 2010 (since next weekend is Christmas weekend). And if Tara doesn't defeat Kong tonight, it's also her final shot at the title for at least one year (or until she has defeated everyone on the roster). The inaugural world champ surely realized the gravity of her situation, as she attacked Kong with one goal for her eye, win back her title. We know Tara is strong, but sidewalk slamming Kong twice is surely a feat of strength. Kong quickly turned the tables when Tara tried a bodyslam, clubbing her over her back and sending her into the corner. She followed up with a monstrous butt-bump, causing Tara to lose her breath. Kong continued to abuse Tara for a while, slapping her and chopping her. Kong was so sure of her own victory that she slowed down the pace, allowing Tara to get her vitality back. She ducked a clothesline and hit a crucifix for two. Her momentum was cut short when Kong pushed her into the corner, almost crushing her ribs with a few shouldertackles. Tara must have drawn her strength from somewhere deep within her as she miraculously picked up Kong and power bombed her! The move took all strength away from Tara though, who took her time making the cover. Kong kicked out. Tara went for the Widow's Peak, but with most of her strength drained away, she couldn't lift Kong. A completely exhausted Tara had no chance of ducking a spinning back fist, but she kept her footing. Kong scooped her up in the Queen's Fury, and the sitout power bomb was the final move in TNAW in 2010.
Queen Kong pinned Tara with the Queen`s Fury in 0:15:28. Rating: *** 1/2 (Queen Kong retained the TNAW World Title.)
Card rating: *** 1/4
A solid PPV to end a fantastic year for women's wrestling. We saw great matches from beginning to end, all three champions retaining their belts. As 2010 comes to a close, many questions will be posed on what 2011 will bring. Now that Tara has lost her last opportunity to Queen Kong's belt, who will step up and challenge the Queen? Is there anyone who CAN defeat her, or will the Age of Kong last forever?
The Beautiful People also did a good PPV, losing only 1 out of 3 matches. This doesn't seem to help Madison Rayne's mood though, who has been growing more and more unhappy with the direction of TBP. How will 2011 fare for her?
While Larry Sweeney might have found love in the final months of 2011, his primary client, Sara Del Rey, is less than amused. And with two losses at Pride and Glory, Sweeney must spend the holidays finding a way to do better next year.
From all the girls (and boys) in TNAW, we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year!

Awesome send-off show for 2010. Feels likes a Wrestlemania send-off, with a lot of closure and a good amount of rivalries waiting around the corner. Awesome build so far.

I'm blatantly stealing Ryan's idea:

12.18:
- Nice squash for Nattie going into Pride and Glory.
- I am liking what you are doing with Gail Kim. I sense kind of a tweener leaning towards heel. This would be the perfect chance to push her as an underdog against Kong and just trying to prevent herself getting injured.
- Nice beatdown of the champs. I can't see the titles changing hands again this early, but Sarita and Mercedes would make good champions. I guess Rayne is headed towards the heel side.
- Tara heads in to the PPV with the momentum, but that usually means the opponent walks away with the win. I just can't see Tara not having another title shot for a year.
Predictions:
Kim over Blake (hopefully something with Kong starts to happen...the more I think about it the more I like the idea of a feud between the two)
Tough to call, but I guess GGW over TBP with Rayne somehow screwing up some interference.
Hamada over Del Rey.
Neidhart over Rayne.
Elizabeth over ODB.
I think Kong almost has to go over Tara here, but I don't know. This match is extremely hard to call. But I guess I'll go with Kong.

Pride and Glory:
- Ah, man! I was hoping for the Gail Kim push.
- Looks like tonight might be the night where it hits the fan between Del Rey and Sweeney.
- Big win for TBP. Not sure where this will leave GGW.
- Tremendous match between Del Rey and Hamada. It really made both women look like a million bucks. I'm still dying for Del Rey to beat the crap out of Sweeney. Anyways, I could see either of these girls main eventing the next PPV for something fresh.
- Interesting start of an angle for Social Club. Will be looking forward to where this goes.
- Loved the loaded elbow pad. I've always been a mark for a specific object being used by a wrestler (Regal and his knux, Triple H and the sledgehammer). Hopefully that is what will be happening here.
- I'm glad the Miss Elizabeth went over. I'm hoping she gets back on track and starts running through people again.
- Poor Madison. Velvet was not very understanding there. I'm intrigued by the person laughing in the dark. This could turn into a very interesting angle.
- Awesome Kong is just deadly. Good match and a nice way to put Kong over. Tara still came out strong, but I wonder what will happen to her.
Great way to end some feuds, but you definitely left some stuff open to start some new angles. Looking forward to the next card.

Thanks for the comments Josh! Kim is definitely not in the dog house, and will have a "new" ally pretty soon. I just needed to give Blake a decent this time. Also, I'm actually trying to keep Kim as a heel, something that is difficult when a heel group splits up. That's probably why I had Kim escape the beatdown too. A lot of the stuff you mention (Sara kicking Larry's ass, Madison turning) is clearly hinted at. I like slow builds though, hopefully this'll not be too slow Interesting to note the elbow pad thing though. I actually did the elbow pad thing early last year, but forgot all about it. I almost did so now as well, and had to go back and edit some cards. I had one of those stupid WON BY PINFALL endings in the Maiden Title match, and had to improvise. Seems "loaded elbow pad" is my go to solution for those situations.. I simmed through January during the holidays, first show will probably be up this week.

TNAW StarStruck - 08.01.2011Christy welcomes the fans to a new year! It's time for a new year of StarStruck goodness! Christy Hemme joins the announcers, Dave Prazak and Lauren, and announces that like the first StarStruck of 2010, this show would feature a world title match in the main event! Tonight, the supreme world champion Queen Kong will take on Hamada! Mia Yim vs. TaraAfter losing to Queen Kong at Pride and Glory in December, Tara now has to defeat every single one on the TNAW roster - or wait 1 year before she can challenge for the world title again. She didn't waste any time, competing in the opening contest against the debuting youngster Mia Yim. The young, 20-year old women of black and Korean descent has a lot of potential, but she came up short against the crusading Tara, losing to the A-rack-nophobia rack drop. Tara pinned Mia Yim after A-rack-nophobia in 0:03:40. Rating: *** Tara`s questSo Cal Val caught up with Tara backstage. Tara said that she intends to defeat her way through the roster in record time. Val says TNAW currently has 26 contracted wrestlers. Tara says "well, 1 down, 24 to go". Interview with Miss ElizabethSo Cal Val then catches up with Miss Elizabeth, congratulating her with her win against ODB at Pride and Glory, and asking her what her plans are for 2011. Miss Elizabeth says that her goal is to do what she couldn't do in 2010, win the TNAW World Title. ODB then comes over. Miss Elizabeth asks ODB if they still got a problem, but ODB says that she beat her fair and square last year, so they're cool. They shake hands and ODB leaves. Just as So Cal Val is about to ask another question, Gail Kim and Mickie James come over. The three former Stamford Divas girl stare at each other for a short while, before Mickie in no uncertain terms blames Miss Elizabeth for the downfall of the Stamford Divas. If she hadn't been to obsessed with her personal vendetta against Kong, Maria's team would have had the power it needed to win the War Games match. Elizabeth says she couldn't care less about the Stamford Divas, and that they should learn how to take care of themselves, not mope because their tag-partners have left (referring to Jillian and Bolt respectively). Girls Gone Wild (Sarita & Martinez) w/Sweeney vs. The Beautiful People (Love & Rayne) w/von Erich - Non title matchSarita and Mercedes failed to win the TNAW Tag-Team Titles at Pride and Glory, but had the chance to get back on track here tonight, facing Madison Rayne and one-half of the tag champs, Angelina Love. The match was not for the titles (remember that The Beautiful People can use the Freebird rule), but Sweeney knew that a win would mean a lot for his team's chance of getting a new title shot. This match was a fast affair, Girls Gone Wild showing obvious signs of having drilled their teamwork even more over the holidays. Rayne apparently feels that she has something to prove, opting not to tag Love in the final moments of the match. Instead, Sarita ducked the big boot attempt from Rayne and hit the Tiger Driver for the win. After the match, Love and Sky asked Rayne why she didn't tag, while Rayne complained about Love not breaking up the pin. Girls Gone Wild (Sarita and Mercedes Martinez) defeated The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Madison Rayne) when Sarita pinned M. Rayne with the Tiger Driver in 0:06:40. Rating: ** 3/4 Gail Kim vs. Jennifer BlakeThis was a rematch from Pride and Glory. Gail Kim debuted exactly one year ago, causing the DQ in the main event between ODB and Tara and The Intruders. She lost to Jennifer Blake at the last PPV, and "Girl Dynamite" seems to have Gail's number, countering Kim's attempts and evading the Eat Defeat. The two engaged in a "pinning war", using backslides, small packes, cradles and roll ups in a flurrying attempt to put the other away. Out of nowhere, Blake hit a lung blower which took Kim's breath away and allowed Blake to put this one in the books as well. Jennifer Blake pinned Gail Kim after a lung blower in 0:05:19. Rating: *** Christy annonces top contenderBlake and von Erich are celebrating in the ring when Christy Hemme joins them. She says she's impressed by Blake's performance, and informs her that she's now officially the top contender for Nattie Neidhart's Maiden Title, and that she will challenge for the belt at My Bloody Valentine. The joy is short-lived for Blake and Lacey though, as "EXCUSE ME!!" sounds through the speakers, and Vickie Guerrero enters! The crowd boos excessively, and Christy looks surprised. Vickie enters the ring and says that she simply cannot book a stipulation retroactively. She condescendingly says she knows Christy is still green at this, but this isn't the way to do it. Christy says that they could always book Kim and Blake again, but feels that Blake has proven herself to be the better wrestler. Vickie agrees, but instead proposes that, next week, it will be Jennifer Blake vs. her client for the top contendership. As Christy hesitates, Jennifer takes the mic from her, telling Vickie that she doesn't mind beating some other girl next week too. Vickie then shocks everyone by telling them that her client is Michelle McCool! Hamada vs. Queen Kong w/Prince Nana for the TNAW World TitleQueen Kong fought in the last main event of 2010, and it's only fitting that she'll be fighting in the first main event of 2011. Even if Prince Nana laughed away the challenge of Hamada, Kong knows that anyone trained by Aja Kong and Mariko Yoshida is not to be taken lightly. Hamada's first task was to take Kong down, and she succeeded with a DDT. She then started targetting Kong's joints, both with kicks and submission moves. The problem is, Kong's legs are so big that holding a leglock for an extended period of time is not really that easy. Kong started to tire of the abuse, slamming Hamada hard to the ground and softening up her back and neck. A spinning back fist knocked Hamada loopy, but Hamada managed to counter the Queen's Fury with a backdrop. These two superstars set the bar for 2011 high tonight, brawling on the outside and demolishing the announce table when Hamada sent Kong through the table with a moonsault. Unfortunately for her, it took to long time for her to roll Kong back into the ring. Hamada started making some easy mistakes, missing a second moonsault. Kong hit Hamada with another two back fists before locking in the bearhug. Hamada tried everything to escape, but the Queen's hold was too tight, and ref Remsburg had to give Kong the win to have her release the unconscious Hamada. Queen Kong defeated Hamada when Hamada passed out in a bearhug in 0:12:46. Rating: *** 1/2 (Queen Kong retained the TNAW World Title.) Card rating: *** 1/4 Match observations: 2011 is on its way, and we saw several interesting developments. Tara has begun her long path towards a new title shot, while Queen Kong fended off the first of what she hopes will be many successful challenges. Vickie Guerrero is here in TNAW and so is Michelle McCool! Next week, McCool or Jennifer Blake will be announced as the top contender for Nattie Neidhart's Maiden Title. The returning Mickie James seems to have joined up with Gail Kim, and it looks like they are turning their anger and frustration at Miss Elizabeth. Join us next week, for some more StarStruck action!

TNAW Behind the scenes
TNAW's first year has been a success, no doubt about that. Even though the TV ratings have varied wildly, it unfortunately plummeted again towards the end of the year, and the final StarStruck before Pride & Glory had a rating of only 0.025. PPV buys for P&G was 4000, which was only half as much as Through the Gates of Hell. TtGoH is billed as one of the four really big PPVs though (alongside Queen of the Ring, Caged Fury and Tropic Tumble), so the numbers weren't that poor.
TNA & TNAW President Dixie Carter feels that there is enough wrestling on Spike, and from February, TNAW StarStruck will be shown on MyNetwork TV. Same day, same slot however. Hopefully this will improve the ratings.
Comings and goings Both Jillian Hall and Sojourner Bolt are gone from TNAW. Hall wrapped up her deal with TNAW after her feud with Eve Torres, and will now pursue other career opportunities. Bolt will probably go back to the indies.
Annie Social and Melanie Cruise of the Social Club has been offered a deal with TNAW. Both in order to boost the tag team division, but also to take part in a major storyline that is rumored to be in the workings. The two goth girls have a unique look and will bring something else to the table.
There has also been rumors that Dave Prazak has wanted to bring in some top Japanese talent to face Queen Kong, but there are many who doubt how that will pay off for an American audience who doesn't really know how big this would be.
The latest hirings is of course Vickie Guerrero and Michelle McCool. In a podcast interview, Dave Prazak says that while he knows some may object to this, he feels that Vickie is a master of drawing heel heat as a manager, and that Michelle is a good wrestler.

- It's going to be hard for Tara to beat the entire roster if more wrestlers keep debuting. I like the looks of Mia Yim so hopefully you have something planned for her. - Miss Elizabeth is turning face? That's a twist I didn't really see coming. - I still hold out hopes that one day Gail Kim will get the push she deserves. - Wowza! I didn't expect Vickie Guerrero to show up here. I like it! She is way underrated as the heat machine she is. McCool is an interesting choice to be her client. - I loved the Hamada-Kong match. Hamada is starting to grow on me as a wrestler that doesn't really need a feud, but is always at the top of the ladder. I could see her and Kong having a nice string of matches leading to some PPV main event. - Sad to see Jillian Hall go after she just brought back Mickey James. - Yeah, you really need to get the Social Club into some more action. It's an intriguing angle you have going on with them. Good stuff once again.

Josh: Mia's probably gonna do a lot of jobbing in the beginning, but I don't reckon she'll stay in Jobberville forever. I agree with your assessment of Hamada, it's hard to put her in storyline-based feuds, but she fits nicely in feuds based on matches. Jillian quitting on me ruins some of my plans for The Intruders, but I've already found a suitable replacement for Jillian. As it happens, she's one of your favorites Pulsar: I have been thinking of doing something similar of what Ryan has done for his GCW universe. It's all a matter of time though.
