Looking like a pretty good IYH PPV. I like the young vs old fued. Mercy has been suitably creepy in his promos and I doubt Tatanka's return will go smoothly. Hijinks are sure to ensure with Jarrett and Roadie. Harts vs Brits should be a heck of match while UT-Borga and Bomb-Titan, if not technically sound, are big showdowns.

WWF Superstars July 22nd, 1995 Stabler Arena, Bethlehem, PA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Hunter Hearst Helmsley pinned Bob Holly with the Pedigree in 0:07:12. Rating: ** 3/4 During the match, Lord Alfred Hayes and Lord Steven Regal came out seemingly to scout Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Bob Holly found the mark with his picture-perfect dropkick, but then made the mistake of trying a backdrop and Helmsley turned it into the Pedigree for the pin. Afterwards, Hayes and Regal gave Helmsley a round of applause. Helmsley responded with a bow in the direction of the two men. The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael), Barry Windham and Mr. Perfect defeated The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm), Sean Waltman and Savio Vega when Raphael pinned L. Storm with the Dolce Vita in 0:18:38. Rating: *** 1/4 This eight-man tag team match almost inevitably broke down into a wild brawl. Sean Waltman, Savio Vega and Chris Jericho hit successive dives onto their opponents at ringside which brought the crowd to their feet. However, when Lance Storm went for a dive of his own, Raphael cut him off and headbutted him in the gut with his loaded mask! Raphael then pinned Storm with the full nelson slam. Crush made Kenny Kendall submit to the Cranium Crunch in 0:02:14. Rating: DUD During the bout it was announced that next week on Monday Night RAW, Crush will challenge for the Intercontinental Championship against the winner of the title match at In Your House. Before the show went off-air, Vince McMahon threw it backstage where an angry Lance Storm challenged Raphael to a singles match.
Circuit information: Tomorrow night we will be In Your House again, live on pay-per-view from the Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee for Music City Showdown. Here's a run down of the final card:
Bret Hart and Owen Hart vs British Bulldog and Lord Steven Regal
The British Bulldog earned a WWF Title shot at SummerSlam following his victory in the King of the Ring tournament, an outcome which puts him on a collision course with his brother-in-law, WWF Champion Bret Hart. When The Hitman attempted to congratulate Bulldog on his win, Davey Boy turned on Bret and accused him of stealing the spotlight. Bulldog then shocked everybody by aligning himself with Lord Alfred Hayes and Lord Steven Regal. In reality, this partnership had been ongoing for sometime, with Regal's interference - which at the time seemed inadvertent - leading to Bulldog winning the King of the Ring final. The whole Bulldog-Regal rivalry had been a ruse. The British Bulldog showed his true colours when he attacked Bret Hart during a non-title match with Lord Steven Regal. Thankfully there is still one family member that The Hitman can count on as Owen Hart returned to make the save. That sets up what should be a phenomenal tag team match at In Your House, especially with this situation being so emotionally charged. A win for Bulldog would surely give him the edge heading into SummerSlam. The Undertaker vs Ludvig Borga
The Undertaker's life has been torn apart this year following Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase's revelations about his past. It was revealed that DiBiase has been the silent benefactor to Gary Hart's Black Friday Management stable and he used this relationship to conspire to cost The Undertaker the WWF Championship at the King of the Ring, setting up a 5-on-1 beatdown by the group. It was the returning Ludvig Borga who dealt the fatal blows in the attack, setting up this one-on-one contest. The Undertaker's mindset is all over the place, especially after DiBiase presented Kane's half of the statue tonight which he claims is proof of the existence of a brother Undertaker thought was dead for years. But with the rest of Black Friday Management barred from ringside on Sunday, The Deadman has Borga all to himself and can release all of his fury at In Your House. WWF Intercontinental Championship Handicap Match Lex Luger vs Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie
Lex Luger and Jeff Jarrett were supposed to meet for the Intercontinental Title at the first In Your House pay-per-view in May, but a knee injury to the Total Package caused by Double J postponed the bout. Following several attacks and instances of outside interference from Tennessee Lee Promotions, Luger demanded that his singles match with Jarrett be changed to a Handicap Match also involving The Roadie. Luger feels that he can take care of both men if they are both involved in the match instead of worrying about interference, but he may be playing right into Jarrett's hands. Crush is waiting in the wings for the winner as he challenges whomever the champion is for the title the following evening on Monday Night RAW.
Jeff Jarrett is also set to make his live singing debut this Sunday. If he can capture the Intercontinental Championship as well it could be the greatest night of Double J's life. Adam Bomb vs TITAN
Harvey Wippleman is putting all his eggs in one basket with the 7'4" TITAN. Adam Bomb took exception with Wippleman naming TITAN as his representative in the King of the Ring instead of himself, which resulted in Wippleman firing Bomb and TITAN laying him out. Bomb returned at the King of the Ring, attacking TITAN after the monster was disqualified in the first round. In the process The Creation of Devastation became the first man to knock the giant off his feet. Can Bomb repeat the feat at In Your House? Tatanka vs Waylon Mercy
This match is perhaps surrounded with the most intrigue. The Good Doctor Waylon Mercy, who has introduced himself with a series of unsettling vignettes, will make his in-ring debut against the returning Tatanka, who will be managed by WWF Hall of Famer Chief Jay Strongbow. Both men need a victory, as defeat in his very first match would cut Mercy's legs off straight away while Tatanka is determined to bounce back from a series of crushing defeats. Savio Vega and Sean Waltman vs Mr Perfect and Barry Windham
Mr Perfect and Barry Windham can't stand the New Generation of superstars in the WWF and are on a mission to wipe them out. Savio Vega has battled these two men for months and finally found an ally in Sean Waltman after Waltman came to his aid when Perfect and Windham prepared to deliver a righteous beating to the Caribbean Superstar. Pride is at stake in this one as we wait to discover which style will win out - the hard-hitting, old school style of Perfect and Windham, or the high-flying, unpredictable Vega and Waltman?

IN YOUR HOUSE 2: Music City Showdown July 23rd, 1995 Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee Your commentators are Jim Ross and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
[Dark Match]: The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael) when Jericho defeated Raphael by disqualification in 0:11:09. Rating: *** 1/4 [Dark Match]: Sabu pinned Big Boss Man with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:06:32. Rating: *** [Dark Match]: Crush pinned Bob Backlund after a powerslam in 0:08:51. Rating: *** The pay-per-view opened with a music video package centred on Nashville and mixed footage from Music City's most famed landmarks with recent WWF action. The announcers were wearing cowboy hats; Jim Ross looked right at home in his black Stetson while Bobby Heenan looked ridiculous as his hat swamped his head.
Savio Vega and Sean Waltman vs Mr Perfect and Barry Windham Chalk one up for the New Generation! The duo of Savio Vega and Sean Waltman took this hot opening tag team match when Waltman small packaged Mr Perfect as the latter set up the Perfect Plex. Perfect appeared to hurt his arm badly during the bout and it took him an age to hook up his finishing hold, which gave Waltman ample time to counter and score the pinfall. Savio Vega and Sean Waltman defeated Barry Windham and Mr. Perfect when Waltman pinned Perfect after a small package in 0:12:13. Mr. Perfect tore his right biceps. He will be out for approximately 7 months. Rating: *** 1/4
Jeff Jarrett - With my Baby Tonight
Finally, after much hype and hullabaloo, it was time for the moment we'd all apparently been waiting for. Yes, it was time for the live singing debut of "Double J" Jeff Jarrett!
Jarrett walked out to his theme and greeted some paparazzi and record executives near the stage, while The Roadie was busy doing whatever with the instruments and speakers. After receiving a red hot introduction from Tennessee Lee, Jeff Jarrett - that's J-E-DOUBLE F J-A-DOUBLE R-E-DOUBLE T - haha, Double J - spent a few minutes putting himself over as the world's greatest wrestler, singer, and entertainer, then vowed to make us all 'eat crow' by throwing himself headlong into what looked like an impassioned rendition of "With my Baby Tonight". Giving Jarrett a few moments to bask in his own glory, Jim Ross then threw it to Todd Pettengill who was out mingling with the fans to get their take on the performance. Though some gave it the thumbs up, others didn't care for it quite so much. Adam Bomb vs TITAN TITAN cemented his status as the biggest man in professional wrestling today as Adam Bomb, one of the most powerful men in the company, bounced off the behemoth like a rubber ball in the opening exchanges. TITAN shoved Bomb outside the ring and rammed him back-first into the ringpost. TITAN went for a clothesline, but Bomb moved and TITAN hit the post. As TITAN tried to climb back in, Bomb attempted to knock the wind out of him with shoulderblocks to the midsection. Bomb finally knocked TITAN off the apron with a clothesline, but TITAN landed on his feet! TITAN caught Bomb off a plancha and pressed Bomb over his head and back into the ring from ringside, an incredible demonstration of strength from the 7'4" monster! The Creation of Devastation kept coming at TITAN, staggering him with a flying clothesline. Bomb then went for the slingshot clothesline, the very move that he had knocked him down with previously, but TITAN goozled Bomb mid-flight and planted him with the choke slam for the win! TITAN pinned Adam Bomb with the Choke Slam in 0:05:12. Rating: ** Tatanka vs Waylon Mercy This was the in-ring debut of the "Good Doctor" Waylon Mercy, who came to the ring in medical scrubs and put on surgical gloves before the match. The returning Tatanka was accompanied to ringside by Chief Jay Strongbow. The Native American took Mercy down with a series of armdrags, but caught a hard left hand from the Good Doctor over the official's shoulder. Mercy dropped Tatanka with a clothesline and punished him with long, painful holds, stretching elbows, shoulders, knees and ankles. Mercy scratched Tatanka's back with his fingernails, pulled his hair and just plain beat him up. Mercy's style was very much seen as a throwback to the 1970s. The Good Doctor applied a sleeperhold and had a deranged look in his eyes as he cinched in the hold. Tatanka broke it with a back suplex and began his comeback. Mercy went into his medicine bag, but when Strongbow attempted to confront him Mercy drilled him with a left. Tatanka and the official checked on Strongbow and Mercy capitalised by nailing Tatanka in the gut with his bag! Mercy then spiked Tatanka with a dangerous looking brainbuster for the three count. Waylon Mercy pinned Tatanka after a brain buster in 0:08:21. Rating: *** Tatanka cut a frustrated figure after the match, kicking the ropes in anger. Chief Jay Strongbow tried to appease him, but Tatanka shoved him away and accused him of costing him the match. Strongbow said he would talk to him when Tatanka had calmed down. Strongbow went to leave, but Tatanka clubbed him across the back with a forearm and then kicked him repeatedly! Tatanka dragged Strongbow up and laid him out with the End of the Trail. Strongbow lay motionless on the mat and Tatanka left to loud boos as the official called for help. WWF Intercontinental Title Handicap Match Lex Luger vs Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie Jeff Jarrett started for his team while The Roadie lurked around menacingly on the floor. Jarrett missed a dropkick before being clotheslined hard out to ringside. Crush, who will challenge whomever holds the Intercontinental Title tomorrow night on Monday Night RAW, was shown watching the match backstage on a monitor. Roadie got in a cheap shot to take Lex Luger down from behind, allowing Jarrett to connect with an enzuigiri to take over. However, Luger caught Double J’s cross body into a Gorilla Press and launched Jarrett onto the Roadie! After a quick regroup, Roadie came in for the first time and scored with a quick clothesline and a snap mare to put Luger down. Back to Jarrett who earned a quick two off a sunset flip before Luger scored the same off a small package. The Total Package was backdropped out to the floor which hurt his bad knee again. Roadie followed with a middle rope clothesline and Luger was in big trouble. Although dazed, Luger still managed to roll through a top rope cross body from Jarrett into a two count, only to be taken right back down with a neckbreaker. The Roadie hit a second rope kneedrop for a nearfall and applied a reverse chinlock. Luger fought back and jawbreaked his way to freedom; Jarrett tagged in but Luger continued his comeback against him and suplexed both members of Tennessee Lee Promotions. Luger laid out Roadie with the forearm but Jarrett went to the bad knee to slow him down. Double J went for the figure-four leglock but Luger kicked him off into the recovering Roadie on the apron and then submitted Jarrett with the Torture Rack! Handicap-Match: Lex Luger defeated Tennessee Lee Promotions (Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie) when Luger made J. Jarrett submit to the Rebel Rack in 0:10:14. Rating: *** 1/4 The Undertaker vs Ludvig Borga Ludvig Borga busted up Undertaker with some vicious punches to the ribs and back. The Hellraiser from Helsinki had a clear strategy to weaken the ribs of the former WWF Champion, striking with a spinebuster and a gutbuster. Undertaker reversed a whip into the corner and the referee got flattened. Borga went for a Stinger Splash but Undertaker caught him by the throat and planted him with a choke slam, before signalling for the Tombstone. However, The Undertaker hesitated, before leaving and pulling out a table from under the ring! The Deadman shoved the table into the ring and set it up. The fans were going crazy as The Undertaker went for another choke slam on Borga, this time through the table! However, as The Undertaker held Ludvig Borga by the throat, from out of nowhere Sabu hit the ring. Sabu had brought a steel chair with him, which he launched at The Undertaker's head. Stunned, The Undertaker released Borga and staggered into the corner. Sabu ran at the Deadman and blasted him several times with the chair, before ramming him head-first into the table. With The Undertaker slumped across the table, Sabu climbed to the top rope with the chair and drove the Phenom through the table with an Arabian Facebuster!! The Undertaker appeared to be out cold as Sabu took off. Ludvig Borga cleverly dumped the remnants of the table out of the ring and covered The Undertaker as the referee began to stir. Unbelievably, The Undertaker kicked out at two and seven eighths! Irritated, The Hellraiser from Helsinki rocked the Deadman with more well-placed punches and then hit the Rack and Ruin to secure the biggest win of Borga's career to date. Ludvig Borga pinned The Undertaker with the Rack and Ruin in 0:13:05. The Undertaker suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 2 months. Rating: ** 1/2 [Sabu interfered against The Undertaker.]
Bret Hart and Owen Hart vs British Bulldog and Lord Steven Regal This was a phenomenal tag team main event in which emotions were running so high. The British Bulldog was sporting a new short haircut; a change of hairstyle to go with his recent change in attitude. The ultra aggressive Hitman opened up with headbutts on his opponents as the Harts dominated the early fast-paced exchanges. Bret and Owen took out Bulldog and Regal at ringside with stereo topes as Hayes' men tried to regroup. Bulldog broke up an early Sharpshooter attempt by Owen on Regal. The tide of the match turned when Regal countered a backbreaker with a rake of the eyes and he and Bulldog conducted a collaborative attack on Owen's left knee for the majority of the match. Bulldog and Regal used sound fundamental wrestling to knot up Owen's hamstring, making frequent tags to keep Owen in their corner and drawing that imaginary line across the ring. Owen created an opportunity for himself when he struck Regal with an enzuigiri to counter a dragon screw, but Bulldog had the referee distracted and therefore missed Owen's tag to the Hitman. As the official tried to get Bret out of the ring, Regal and Bulldog put the boots to his younger brother. The Rocket was having a hard time standing on his injured knee and appeared to be in agony, exasperated further by a figure-four leglock from Regal. Eventually Owen caused a miscommunication and Bulldog and Regal crashed into each other, allowing Bret to make the hot tag. The WWF Champion went to town with the Five Moves of Doom on Regal. He was later joined by Owen as the match broke down. Owen sent Regal to the outside with a missile dropkick and followed up with a plancha. Owen wrapped Regal up in the Sharpshooter on the outside, leaving Bret and Bulldog to do battle between the ropes. Davey Boy blocked a superplex and crotched Bret on the top rope. Bulldog went for the running powerslam, but the Hitman slid off Bulldog's back and went for a Victory roll. However, Bulldog reversed the momentum and sat back on it, holding the WWF Champion down for the clean-as-a-whistle three count! British Bulldog and Lord Steven Regal defeated Bret Hart and Owen Hart when Bulldog pinned B. Hart after a sitdown in 0:21:15. Lord Steven Regal suffered a dislocated right knee. He will be out for approximately 4 months. Rating: **** 1/4 [Lord Alfred Hayes interfered against Bret Hart.] The announcers played it up huge that the British Bulldog had pinned his brother-in-law Bret Hart once again and without any help. Bobby Heenan gleefully trumpeted that The Hitman cannot beat Davey Boy, and when this happens again at SummerSlam we'll have a new WWF Champion! Card rating: *** 1/4 Circuit information: In our main event The British Bulldog pinned his brother-in-law and the man he will challenge for the WWF Championship next month at SummerSlam, Bret Hart. It was the second high-profile clean pinfall win that the Bulldog has recorded over the Hitman and it certainly appears that Davey Boy has Bret's number. The King of the Ring winner has built up quite a head of steam as we approach SummerSlam and Bret Hart's second WWF Title reign might just be over a lot quicker than his first. In the aftermath of tonight's show, Lord Steven Regal challenged Owen Hart to a singles match. Regal felt that he was once again embarrassed by The Rocket after being locked in the Sharpshooter outside the ring. Regal was limping noticeably as he left the arena. The Undertaker was pinned for the second straight pay-per-view, this time by Ludvig Borga after Sabu interfered against the Deadman. Black Friday Management were barred from ringside in order to prevent any outside interference, but Sabu is not a member of Gary Hart's stable. What was Sabu's motivation? Has Ted DiBiase's money done the talking yet again? It was a bittersweet night for Jeff Jarrett. He succeeded in impressing the majority of his hometown fans with a superb live rendition of his hit single "With My Baby Tonight", but then failed to dethrone Lex Luger as Intercontinental Champion. Luger managed to overcome the 2-on-1 disadvantage in his handicap match and this sets up a title match tomorrow night on Monday Night RAW against his old rival Crush. Tatanka returned tonight from a self-imposed absence with a new fire, but this was quickly extinguished by debutant Waylon Mercy. The Native American blamed the defeat on his new manager Chief Jay Strongbow and beat up the Hall of Famer after the match. It was a sickening display from Tatanka who lost a lot of fans due to his actions this evening. The New Generation team of Savio Vega and Sean Waltman scored a big win over their antagonists, Mr Perfect and Barry Windham. Perfect suffered a serious arm injury during the bout, but much to his credit he still gutted it out and finished the match. It is expected that the injury will require surgery and we'll hopefully be able to provide an update during the coming week. Make sure you tune in to Monday Night RAW tomorrow night for all the fallout from tonight's In Your House show! Fresh off defeating Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie in a Handicap Match, can Lex Luger continue to hold on to his Intercontinental Title when he defends against Crush? Will Owen Hart respond to Lord Steven Regal's challenge? Till then, so long everybody!

Well that show was an absolute killer for injuries. The Perfect one especially, as I felt the feud with the New Generation was gathering momentum.

Well that show was an absolute killer for injuries. The Perfect one especially, as I felt the feud with the New Generation was gathering momentum. Agreed. The UT injury actually worked out quite well (even with Sabu's interference, Borga pinning Undertaker is HUGE), but the other two...ugh. Could be good for HHH's career though. You've been hit hard with injuries more than a few times in this circuit. Good show overwise.

Monday Night RAW July 24th, 1995 Louisville Gardens, Louisville, KY Your commentators are Vince McMahon, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
This evening we enter a new era of Monday Night RAW with a new look! The opening graphics have been redone and the huge RAW letters now form the entrance way. The announcers recapped the outcome of the tag team main event from last night's In Your House pay-per-view, where the British Bulldog pinned the WWF Champion Bret Hart. They also hyped tonight's Intercontinental Title Match where Lex Luger will defend against his old rival Crush.
The show was interspersed with video clips featuring the history between Crush and Lex Luger in order to build up their match later. The first featured clips from King of the Ring 1993 where Crush taken out backstage by Luger, forcing the big Hawaiian to withdraw from the tournament. Luger went on to win the King of the Ring and earn a WWF Title shot at SummerSlam. In the aftermath of In Your House last night, Lord Steven Regal challenged Owen Hart to a singles match. Regal felt he was once again embarrassed by The Rocket after being locked in the Sharpshooter outside the ring. However, Regal suffered a dislocated kneecap last night which will rule him out until the end of the year. The British Bulldog will take his place and face brother-in-law Owen Hart to open the show. As Owen Hart made his way down the aisle, Lord Steven Regal hobbled out behind him and walloped him in the back with his cricket bat before Owen could reach the ring! The British Bulldog joined Regal at ringside and they went to work on Owen. Bret Hart quickly arrived on the scene and fought off Bulldog and Regal with punches. Lord Alfred Hayes' men retreated to the back while Bret tended to his brother as the show went to commercial. After the break it was announced that security had thrown Bret Hart and Lord Steven Regal out of the building, and the Owen Hart vs British Bulldog match will take place later tonight. Video control took us back to SummerSlam 1993, where Lex Luger pinned Bret Hart to win the WWF Title. However, Crush returned from his King of the Ring concussion to show the referee footage of Luger using his steel-plated forearm to knock out The Hitman! The match ended up being restarted and Hart submitted Luger with the Sharpshooter, much to the delight of Crush! Waylon Mercy made Gary Scott submit to the Procedure in 0:03:40. Rating: * 1/4 Mercy went from being nice and polite to destroying poor Gary Scott. Mercy finished Scott off with his submission hold The Procedure, an excruciating reverse Boston crab!
The final Luger-Crush video segment was from Saturday Night's Main Event on September 25th 1993, where Crush squeezed a submission out of Lex Luger with the Cranium Crunch. Will history repeat itself tonight? If it does, we'll crown a new Intercontinental Champion. Before the next match it was announced that Ludvig Borga has been named the number one contender to the Intercontinental Title. Borga recorded the biggest victory of his career last night at In Your House when he pinned former WWF Champion The Undertaker. Lex Luger pinned Crush after the Running Forearm Smash in 0:12:08. Rating: *** (Lex Luger retained the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Ludvig Borga interfered against Crush.]
This was an incredibly heated bout, which was to be expected given the storied history between the two men. The crowd were pretty much split down the middle in their support. Lex Luger managed to break Crush's Cranium Crunch and fight his way out, while Crush escaped the Rebel Rack. Crush dropped Luger with clotheslines and a dropkick and set up for the Hawaiian Smasher, but Luger countered into a desperation DDT! Crush dropped out of the ring while the referee checked on the condition of Luger. Suddenly, Ludvig Borga ran down to ringside and planted a hard boot into Crush's side, before hurling him into the ringsteps! Borga dumped Crush back into the squared circle, where Luger struck with the forearm smash to retain. British Bulldog pinned Owen Hart with the Running Powerslam in 0:13:04. Rating: *** 1/2 [Hunter Hearst Helmsley interfered against Owen Hart.] Owen had the Bulldog in trouble. He connected with an enzuigiri and a missile dropkick, before locking on the Sharpshooter. Bulldog used his power to try and crawl himself towards the ropes, but Owen dragged Davey Boy back into the centre of the ring. Hunter Hearst Helmsley then ran down to the squared circle, reached in and raked Owen's eyes behind the official's back! The distraction forced Owen to lose his grip on the Bulldog, but after shaking off the effects of the eye rake Owen left the ring and chased after Helmsley! The Rocket ran in to a hard clothesline from the Bulldog on the floor, who then threw Owen back in and pinned him with the powerslam! After the match, Hunter Hearst Helmsley shook hands with both the British Bulldog and Lord Alfred Hayes, confirming their association. Owen Hart attacked the trio, but was quickly beaten down. Bulldog and Helmsley set the Rocket up for a Pedigree but Bret Hart, who had fought his way back into the building, ran in for the save. The Bulldog bailed before Hart could get his hands on him and taunted the Hitman by signalling that the WWF Championship will soon be around his waist!
Circuit information: Let's take a minute to catch our breath and examine what happened tonight on Monday Night RAW. Ludvig Borga was confirmed as the number one contender to the Intercontinental Title. The Hellraiser from Helsinki then decided to interject himself in the title contest between Lex Luger and Crush, costing the big Hawaiian the match. There is history between Borga and Crush, the two superstars having feuded with each other last year before Borga was sidelined with an injury. We can reveal that Lex Luger reviewed the footage after the match and he was not happy. The Total Package has vowed to give Crush a rematch once he has dealt with Ludvig Borga. Hunter Hearst Helmsley has become the latest superstar to align himself with Lord Alfred Hayes as he interfered against Owen Hart to give the British Bulldog the win over his brother-in-law. Hayes had scouted the Greenwich blueblood this past weekend on Superstars and seemingly acted quickly to close a deal following Lord Steven Regal's injury. Disgraced Native American Tatanka will be on hand this weekend on Superstars and hopefully he will provide some sort of explanation for his despicable actions last night at In Your House. In addition, Jeff Jarrett, Sabu and the Hollywood Blonds will all be appearing, plus we'll bring you an update on the condition of Mr Perfect. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars July 29th, 1995 Roberts Stadium, Evansville, IN Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Tonight's edition of Superstars began with footage from the opening tag team bout at In Your House last Sunday between Mr Perfect and Barry Windham and the new generation duo of Savio Vega and Sean Waltman. Clips where shown of the point during the bout where it is expected that Perfect tore his right biceps. Vince McMahon informed us that Perfect is scheduled to undergo surgery on the torn biceps sometime this week. It is unknown at present how long Perfect will be out of action for, but he is unlikely to back in the ring before the end of the year.
Vince McMahon also announced that next week on Superstars, Barry Windham will face WWF Champion Bret Hart in a non-title match. Native American Tatanka was in action in our opening match and he was booed out of the building following his attack on Chief Jay Strongbow at In Your House. Tatanka was sporting a new style of warpaint, covering the top of his face in black and the bottom in white.
Tatanka pinned David Haskins with the End of the Trail in 0:03:50. Rating: * After the match, Sean Mooney attempted to grab a word with Tatanka. The Native American took the mic and shoved Mooney away, claiming he owed neither Mooney nor the crowd an explanation for his actions. Tatanka ranted that he had been held back in the WWF and compared this to the years of persecution that his people had suffered. Tatanka said that he had called upon his forefathers to unleash a new warrior, a vengeful warrior, in him, and Chief Jay Strongbow was the first casualty.
The Big Boss Man then made his way out to take exception. Boss Man said that he and Tatanka had been partners and fought together in the past, and he thought the Native American was a man of honour and integrity. Boss Man claimed that he had been wrong about that and said Tatanka's new attitude stinks. The former corrections officer said that Tatanka needs straightened out. Tatanka smirked as Boss Man returned to the back. The Spiders (Spider #1 and Spider #2) and The Bushwhackers (Bushwhacker Luke and Bushwhacker Butch) battled to a no-contest in 0:01:35. Rating: DUD This match barely got started (thankfully!) when Harvey Wippleman led TITAN down to the ring. TITAN laid waste to both teams with double choke slams, seemingly for the sheer hell of it.
A hype video aired to introduce "Master of the Pan Flute" Zan Panzer. Panzer hails from "the continent of Europe" (nope, can't be more specific than that!). Vince McMahon revealed that the Master of the Pan Flute will debut next week on Superstars and McMahon's credibility took a further nosedive when he claimed that Panzer has sold more albums than the Beatles! The Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) defeated Jeff Hardy and Brian Walsh when S. Austin pinned J. Hardy with the Stun Gun in 0:04:58. Rating: ** 1/4 During the bout The Hollywood Blonds cut an insert promo in which they referred to their match with the Hart Brothers several weeks ago. Steve Austin claimed that their opponents were lucky that the British Bulldog and Lord Steven Regal ran in when they did just before he and Brian Pillman reversed the Sharpshooters and finished Bret and Owen off. Hmmm. Brief footage was shown of Jeff Jarrett's performance of "With My Baby Tonight" at In Your House as Double J made his way down to the ring for singles competition. Jeff Jarrett pinned Samu after the Encore in 0:05:29. Rating: ** 3/4 [Tennessee Lee interfered against Samu.] [Afa interfered against Jeff Jarrett.] During the bout the announcers debated if Jeff Jarrett was fully focused on his Intercontinental Title shot at In Your House, or whether he was pre-occupied with his well-received live singing debut. Double J was certainly 100% concentrated on the task at hand tonight, dispatching with Samu quickly using the running DDT. Video Control takes us to former Headshrinker Fatu as he shows us around the slums in San Francisco. Fatu explained that he grew up there but he bettered himself through hard work, dedication and staying away from drugs. He's gonna make a difference by thinking positive! Sabu pinned Brickhouse Brown with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:04:44. Rating: ** 3/4 During the match Vince McMahon announced that in two weeks on Monday Night RAW, Sabu will face Sean Waltman for a third time, with each man holding a win over the other. McMahon added that this time the bout will be 2/3 Falls to determine a clear winner. McMahon and Jerry Lawler also pondered why Sabu would choose to mess with The Undertaker after the Human Highlight Reel cost the Deadman his match with Ludvig Borga at In Your House.
Circuit information: Big Boss Man had some words for Tatanka tonight as he joins the list of many who are disgusted at the Native American's recent actions. Tatanka is unrepentant at laying waste to Chief Jay Strongbow at In Your House and has served notice to the locker room that this was just the beginning.
Two new faces for fans to get excited about. Well, one is a familiar face, returning former Headshrinker Fatu who wants to make a difference, and the other is masked, the bizarre Zan Panzer, who will be bringing his pan flute to Superstars next weekend!
This coming week on Monday Night RAW, one half of the tag team champions Lance Storm squares off with Supermodel Raphael and Storm will be out to avenge his partner Chris Jericho's pinfall loss to Rick Martel last week on Superstars. Also, the Big Boss Man, Scott Steiner and the exciting new generation team of Savio Vega and Sean Waltman will all be in action, plus King of the Ring and number one contender to the WWF Title the British Bulldog will be appearing in the King's Court! Till then, so long everybody!

Glad to see this one back. Lots of injuries of late. Perfect going down is the worst. Zan Panzer? Who might that be? This guy: WCW jobber, Brad Anderson was under the mask. "The Master of the Pan Flute" gimmick was one I saw in a fanfic on another board and I am using it here with the author's permission. His hype video looks something like this: Thanks for reading!

Monday Night RAW July 31st, 1995 Louisville Gardens, Louisville, KY Your commentators are Vince McMahon, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. The show began with footage from Superstars on 22nd July, where Rick Martel pinned one half of the Tag Team Champions Chris Jericho during an eight man tag team match. Their respective partners, Raphael and Lance Storm, are set to duke it out in singles action in our opening contest. Raphael pinned Lance Storm via pinfall in 0:06:16. Rating: *** [Rick Martel interfered against Lance Storm.]
Rick Martel attempted to pass a foreign object for Raphael to load his mask with, but Chris Jericho noticed this and protested with the official. Martel pulled Jericho off the ring apron and then slung him into the guardrail. Martel dived into the ring but as Jericho tried to go after him, the referee prevented Jericho from entering. With the referee tied up, The Supermodels drilled Lance Storm with the Fashion Victim behind the official's back! Raphael then covered Storm for the win, which means that he and Martel now each hold pinfalls over the Tag Team Champions. In the first SummerSlam Insider, Todd Pettengill confirmed that a match has been booked between Shawn Michaels and Crush for the pay-per-view. Both of these superstars have designs on the WWF Championship and this singles encounter will go some way to determining their ranking. Pettengill also announced that The Heartbreak Kid will be in action this weekend on Superstars against Adam Bomb. Scott Steiner pinned Joe Hanlock with the SSD in 0:04:02. Rating: ** Vince McMahon interviewed PJ Walker's girlfriend Francine, who was sitting in the front row, for an update on Walker's condition. Francine confirmed that PJ's rehabilitation from his shoulder injury, suffered at the hands of Bob Backlund and the dreaded Chicken Wing, was going well and he would return to the ring soon, stronger and better than ever. McMahon said that was great news, but Francine interrupted and said that it wasn't great news for Bob Backlund! Mr Backlund himself then made his way out and McMahon looked concerned. Backlund confronted Francine, claiming that the sound of PJ Walker's tendons ripping from the bone while he was trapped in the Cross-Face Chicken Wing was music to Mr Backlund's ears. Mr Backlund is a conductor. The Cross-Face Chicken Wing is his masterpiece. Backlund got in Francine's face and warned that if Walker ever dares set foot back in the WWF, he'll put him back in hospital and this time he'll see that he ends his career! Francine let her anger get the better of her and she slapped Mr Backlund hard across the face! The crowd loved it, but Vince McMahon sensed that Francine was in grave danger and attempted to calm Backlund down. It was to no avail, as Backlund snapped! He grabbed Francine by the hair and dragged her over the guardrail, before applying the Chicken Wing on this defenceless woman! Referees and road agents quickly arrived to try and break the hold, but Backlund wouldn't release his grip! Randy Savage threatened to get involved when suddenly PJ Walker ran through the crowd dressed in street clothes! He hopped the rail and went after Backlund, who immediately released Walker's girlfriend. Walker got some good shots in on Backlund as the former WWF Champion tried to take cover behind the agents. PJ checked on Francine, who was being helped back to her feet by Vince McMahon, before making another lunge at Backlund. The show went to commercial while order was restored. Big Boss Man pinned Duane Gill with the Boss Man Slam in 0:03:16. Rating: * 1/2 Vince McMahon conducted an in-ring interview with the big Hawaiian, Crush. Crush talked about Ludvig Borga interfering to cost him the Intercontinental Title Match with Lex Luger last week and said that he wouldn't put it past Luger being in cahoots with Borga. Before Crush could address his match with Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam, Scott Steiner and Tammy Fytch came out to interrupt the interview. Fytch made fun of Crush, stating that surprise, surprise, last week Crush choked yet again in a big Championship match. Fytch quipped that he should change his name to "Flush" because his career is in the toilet! While Fytch laughed at her own terrible joke, Steiner took the mic and ran through his list of accomplishments and title reigns - a two-time World Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion for eight months and a King of the Ring finalist - and he's been with the company for less time than Crush. Steiner said that since he'd joined up with Fytch his career has skyrocketed and bragged about his new house, new car and new pool as payment from Fytch for his services. Crush grabbed the mic and quipped that was a switch because usually Fytch gets paid for her services! The crowd popped and Crush and Steiner started brawling, during which Fytch sprayed hair spray in Crush's eyes. Savio Vega and Sean Waltman defeated The War Machines (War Machine #1 and War Machine #2) when S. Vega pinned War Machine #1 with the Caribbean Kick in 0:04:55. Rating: ** 3/4 During the match, the announcers hyped next week's 2/3 Falls Match between Sean Waltman and Sabu.
Jerry Lawler presided over a show-closing edition of the King’s Court with his guests Lord Alfred Hayes and the British Bulldog. Lawler wished Lord Steven Regal a speedy recovery before discussion turned to the SummerSlam main event. Hayes claimed that it is impossible for Bret Hart to beat the British Bulldog and deep down the Hitman knows it. Hayes says that the Hitman suffers a mental block when he faces his brother-in-law and the Bulldog has not only beaten him, but outwrestled him, on two occasions. Bulldog said that after defeating Owen on Monday Night RAW, beating up Hart brothers is becoming his speciality. He said that the outcome would be the same at SummerSlam and he will become the new WWF Champion. Bulldog warned not to expect another classic catch-as-catch-can bout this time around, because at SummerSlam he is going to plain beat the Hitman up and it will not be pretty. Lord Alfred Hayes then welcomed "the elegant and proper" Hunter Hearst Helmsley to his Gentleman's Club. Hayes said that despite Helmsley being an American, the Greenwich blueblood shares the same ideals they do. Hayes commended Helmsley for attempting to bring class and civility to the WWF.
Owen Hart then made his way down to ringside with a microphone and Hunter Hearst Helmsley dared him to get in the ring. Owen said he wasn't stupid enough to get in there while he was outnumbered and instead challenged Helmsley to meet him one-on-one next week. Helmsley accepted and said he would make an example out of The Rocket next week on Monday Night RAW as the show went off-air. Circuit information: Two interview segments ended in brawls on tonight's show, while the other resulted in a challenge for next week.
First, Bob Backlund stooped to a new low when he locked PJ Walker's girlfriend Francine in the dreaded Cross-Face Chicken Wing. Walker has been on the shelf since he experienced the full effect of Backlund's painful submission hold over two months ago, but returned tonight to make the save. Walker is desperate for revenge against his former mentor.
Crush was devastated when he failed to land the Intercontinental Championship last week, but has the chance to catapult himself back into title contention when he faces Shawn Michaels at SummerSlam. Tammy Fytch and Scott Steiner clearly enjoyed Crush's recent setback and could not resist the chance to revel in the big Hawaiian's misfortune. Crush and Steiner soon came to blows and the situation between these two powerhouses is one to keep an eye on.
Hunter Hearst Helmsley was officially unveiled as the newest member of Lord Alfred Hayes' Gentleman's Club and was immediately challenged by Owen Hart. The Rocket is incensed that Helmsley cost him his match against the British Bulldog last week and wants to make the pompous Helmsley pay through his considerable nose. WWF Champion Bret Hart makes a rare appearance on Superstars this weekend as he warms up for SummerSlam with a non-title match against Barry Windham. Also, Adam Bomb will square off with Shawn Michaels in the other half of our double main event. It's going to be a star-studded show, so make sure you tune in! Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars August 5th, 1995 Roberts Stadium, Evansville, IN Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler. The show opened with a promo from Mr Perfect and Barry Windham. Perfect acknowledged his biceps injury suffered at In Your House and congratulated Sean Waltman for pinning an injured man. Perfect said that he had shown incredible guts and fortitude to keep on wrestling through tremendous pain, something the New Generation know nothing about as they cry off injured if they break a fingernail. Perfect said that following his injury, along with the unprovoked attack by the Great Muta on Monday Night RAW several weeks ago, he and Windham have decided that it is time to recruit some new members to their cause. Windham claimed that there are many disgruntled members in the dressing room who think the same way they do and are sick of the New Generation taking their spots when they haven't paid their dues. Perfect closed by saying that he was extremely disappointed that he couldn't face Bret Hart tonight and get some payback for SummerSlam '91, but he was sure that The Widowmaker could get the job done tonight. Accompanied as ever by Liz and his bodyguard Diesel, Shawn Michaels made his entrance for his singles bout with Adam Bomb. However, Michaels was not dressed to wrestle and took the microphone. The Heartbreak Kid had news for everybody, especially WWF President Jack Tunney. Michaels said that he was refusing to wrestle, either on television or pay-per-view, unless it was for the WWF Championship. So since Adam Bomb isn't the WWF Champion, Diesel will be wrestling him tonight instead. Michaels then demanded that Bomb come down to the ring so Big Daddy Cool can show him who's got the sweeter power bomb! Diesel pinned Adam Bomb with the Jackknife in 0:10:24. Rating: * 1/2 [Shawn Michaels interfered against Adam Bomb.]
Adam Bomb was in control of this hossfest as he went for the slingshot clothesline, but Shawn Michaels held onto Bomb's foot to prevent him from completing the move. Bomb kicked him away, but the distraction allowed Diesel to strike with a big boot which sent Bomb to the floor. Michaels peppered the fallen Bomb with rapid punches and threw him back in the ring, where Diesel finished with the Jackknife. After the match, Shawn Michaels drilled Adam Bomb with a superkick. The Heartbreak Kid took the mic, said that Jack Tunney has his number and he'll be waiting for Tunney's call to inform him when his WWF Title shot is. The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Prichard) defeated Jerry Flynn and Scott Taylor when Tom Prichard pinned J. Flynn with the Power Bomb in 0:04:49. Rating: * 3/4 Just like last week, Harvey Wippleman led TITAN down to the ring after this match. The Heavenly Bodies quickly fled the scene, leaving TITAN to trash Jerry Flynn and Scott Taylor with a double choke slam.
Another vignette for Fatu was shown where he was saying how he grew up near the Cow Palace and used to go to matches there. Fatu explained the Samoans used to dance on the street corner so they could afford a ticket to see the WWF. Zan Panzer pinned AC Connor with the Arpeggio in 0:04:34. Rating: * Zan Panzer celebrated his debut victory with another blast on the pan flute but Tatanka ran in and destroyed him! The Native American then stomped on the pan flute, smashing it into bits! What a villain! Bret Hart defeated Barry Windham by disqualification in 0:14:05. Rating: ** 3/4 [British Bulldog interfered against Bret Hart.] Mr Perfect was at ringside to cheer on his bff despite wearing an arm vice after his recent surgery. The WWF Champion escaped a clawhold attempt and avoided the superplex, before tying up Barry Windham in the Sharpshooter. However, before Hart could squeeze out the submission, the British Bulldog hit the ring and blindsided The Hitman with a brutal clothesline to the back of the head! Following the decision, Mr Perfect managed to drag himself into the ring and he joined Bulldog and Windham in putting the boots to the WWF Champion. Owen Hart hit the ring for the save and floored Bulldog with a dropkick. The Rocket then turned his attention to Perfect and Windham, but they immediately backed off and left the ring despite holding the numbers advantage. Owen was a little confused at the actions of Perfect and Windham. Circuit information: Shawn Michaels has always been a controversial figure in the WWF, but surely even he crossed the line tonight when he refused to wrestle Adam Bomb and made his bodyguard Diesel take his place. The Heartbreak Kid has a severe sense of entitlement when it comes to the WWF Championship and will apparently no longer compete unless it is for the winged belt. Expect WWF President Jack Tunney to act swiftly.
Bret Hart was poised to come out on top in a bruising encounter with Barry Windham until the British Bulldog interjected himself in proceedings. Bulldog wanted to soften up his brother-in-law and SummerSlam opponent and Barry Windham and Mr Perfect were happy to join in. However, when Owen Hart showed up to help his brother, for some reason Perfect and Windham backed down. You can understand Perfect wanting to protect his injury, but perhaps there is more to this than meets the eye.
Zan Panzer scored a win on his debut, but was not allowed to savour it as Tatanka ran in and jumped the newcomer. What possible problem could Tatanka have with the Master of the Pan Flute?? The Native American continues to ruin his legacy with each passing week.
Next week on Monday Night RAW, Owen Hart has a score to settled with the newest member of Lord Alfred Hayes' Gentleman's Club, Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Also, PJ Walker returns to the ring following the shoulder injury inflicted by Bob Backlund, plus Sabu and Sean Waltman will square off for the third and final time, but this time it will be best 2 out of 3 falls! Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW August 7th, 1995 Louisville Gardens, Louisville, KY Your commentators are Vince McMahon, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. The show opened with a singles match between Owen Hart and the man who cost the Rocket a match with the British Bulldog two weeks ago, Hunter Hearst Helmsley. Owen Hart pinned Hunter Hearst Helmsley after a double leg cradle in 0:10:13. Rating: ** 1/4 Owen scored the win here when he countered a Pedigree attempt by double legging Hunter Hearst Helmsley and flipping over into a pin that the snooty Helmsley could not escape from. Quick as a flash, Helmsley’s unbeaten record had come to an end. The British Bulldog jumped into the ring after the bell and he and Hunter Hearst Helmsley assaulted Owen Hart. However, Barry Windham and Mr Perfect came out most unexpectedly...for the save??? Windham seized the cricket bat from Lord Alfred Hayes and swung it in the direction of Bulldog and Helmsley, forcing them to back off. Owen Hart got back to his feet and once again looked most confused as The Widowmaker kept Hayes' charges at bay. Big Van Vader and Harley Race made their way down to the ring for an interview with Vince McMahon. Footage was shown of Vader destroying The Ultimate Warrior with a leather strap several weeks ago and then the subsequent interview where Warrior acknowledged that Vader is the biggest threat he has ever been faced with. Vader was holding the same heavy leather strap he had used in the attack. Race spat that his Rocky Mountain Mastodon has more weapons in his arsenal than entire countries. Race said that the Vader Bomb has left a trail of broken bodies across three continents and that people who get in the big man’s way get run over. Race warned that Vader cannot be stopped and those who try get hurt...they get hurt bad! Race said that The Ultimate Warrior was finding this out the hard way and challenged Warrior to face the Mastodon in a White Castle of Fear Strap Match at SummerSlam. Unfortunately, Cheatum The Evil Midget did not make an appearance. The crowd exploded as The Ultimate Warrior rushed down to the ring to play the pain game! Harley Race and Big Van Vader tried to clothesline Warrior with strap but he splashed it, sending Race and Vader into one another! Warrior decked Race and sent Vader crashing over the top rope to the floor with a clothesline. Warrior took the microphone and emphatically accepted the challenge for SummerSlam! PJ Walker pinned Mantaur with the Underdog in 0:05:07. Rating: * 1/4 PJ Walker returned from his injury layoff with an impressive victory over the much larger Mantaur. After the match, Walker wandered over to the announcers table and addressed Bob Backlund. Walker said the thought of getting his hands on his former mentor spurred him on during his recovery and challenged Backlund to face him one-on-one at SummerSlam. In tonight’s SummerSlam Insider, Todd Pettengill confirmed that Ludvig Borga will challenge Lex Luger for the Intercontinental Title on August 27 in Pittsburgh. Pettengill also announced that the WWF Championship Match between Bret Hart and the British Bulldog will be made official next week on Monday Night RAW when a contract signing will take place in the middle of the ring! Two-out-of-three-Falls Match: Sean Waltman beat Sabu 2 falls to 1: x Waltman beat Sabu via disqualification in 0:09:35 x Sabu beat Waltman via a legdrop in 0:10:00 x Waltman beat Sabu via the Eye Of The Storm in 0:17:11 Rating: *** 3/4 Sabu brought his usual insane flying with no regard for his own body here tonight, while Sean Waltman followed suit with his octane stuff making this another stunning bout between these two superstars. Sabu dropped the first fall in this bout when he clobbered Waltman with a chair-assisted legdrop and was disqualified. However, it turned out to be quite a shrewd move as Sabu easily pinned the dazed Waltman to even the match up. Waltman won the deciding fall when he caught Sabu on the top turnbuckle with a flying kick and then brought him down to the mat with an incredible Eye of the Storm from the top rope! Randy Savage congratulated Sean Waltman at ringside after this superb bout. Waltman said it felt great to come out on top against Sabu, but there is one other man he wants to settle a score with. Waltman explained that his loss to the Great Muta at the King of the Ring still grates and he wants another chance to beat the Pearl of the Orient. Waltman said that since it is the night for challenges, he was inviting Muta to face him again at SummerSlam. The fans and Randy Savage loved the idea. Back from the break and Sabu was not taking his defeat well. The Human Highlight Reel was smashing up the ringside area, throwing chairs and monitors around. Suddenly, the lights went out… …GONG!... …when they returned, The Undertaker was in the ring with his hand wrapped around Sabu's throat! The crowd completely lost it as The Undertaker launched Sabu hard into the corner and unloaded with quickfire lefts and rights! ‘Taker shot Sabu into the ropes and dropped him with a big boot, before signalling for the Tombstone. However, Sabu quickly rolled out of the ring and stumbled to the back, avoiding a further beating. Circuit information: Sabu cost The Undertaker his match with Ludvig Borga at In Your House without much of an explanation. Tonight, the Deadman wasn’t interested in Sabu’s reasons, he just wanted to make the Human Highlight Reel sorry for crossing his path. This past weekend on Superstars, Mr Perfect and Barry Windham refused to attack Owen Hart. Tonight, they actually came to the Rocket’s aid. Perfect and Windham are far from being nice guys, so there must be an ulterior motive at work here. Challenges for SummerSlam were being thrown around left and right on tonight’s show with everybody keen to appear on the hottest pay-per-view of the summer. Bob Backlund and Great Muta are yet to respond to the respective challenges from PJ Walker and Sean Waltman, but the Strap Match between The Ultimate Warrior and Big Van Vader has been made official. With that in mind, let’s run down the card so far for the pay-per-view, which is live on Sunday 27th August from the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: WWF Championship Match Bret “Hitman” Hart vs British Bulldog
WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Lex Luger vs Ludvig Borga White Castle of Fear Strap Match Big Van Vader vs Ultimate Warrior Crush vs Shawn Michaels - To Be Confirmed
This weekend on Superstars, Ludvig Borga battles Bam Bam Bigelow and Tatanka faces plucky newcomer Zan Panzer. Also, Waylon Mercy and The Supermodels are scheduled for action. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars August 12th, 1995 Roberts Stadium, Evansville, IN Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Ludvig Borga pinned Bam Bam Bigelow with the Rack and Ruin in 0:11:28. Rating: ** 3/4 Fresh off from pinning The Undertaker, Ludvig Borga scored another massive victory tonight, this time over former Intercontinental Champion Bam Bam Bigelow. Bigelow looked to put away Borga with a moonsault, but the Hellraiser from Helsinki struck with some vicious kidney punches and sent Bigelow crashing down with the Rack and Ruin. After the break, Sean Mooney conducted an in-ring interview with the victorious Ludvig Borga. Mooney inquired why Borga had targeted Crush during the big Hawaiian’s Intercontinental Title Match with Lex Luger on Monday Night RAW. Borga said that it wasn’t Crush he was targeting, but rather Lex Luger. The Hellraiser from Helsinki listed the injuries Luger has suffered over the past year and claimed he did what he did to ensure he faces the weaker man for the title. Borga said that Lex Luger is broken down and crumbling, just like this dirty stinking polluted country is crumbling. Borga added that at SummerSlam, he will take Luger's title and end his career. Right then the crowd started cheering as Intercontinental Champion Lex Luger made his way down the aisle. Ludvig Borga no-sold Luger's appearance. Luger and Borga went nose-to-nose while Sean Mooney held the microphone in between them. Lex said you can say whatever you want about him, he's a big boy and can take it. But he said everybody is sick of his anti-American tirade while he collects a paycheck here in the U-S of A. While the crowd chanted “U-S-A!”, Luger continued that what you hear is people showing pride and respect for their country. Luger told Borga that at SummerSlam, he will learn respect in this country and in the WWF. Borga grabbed the microphone and said in his country you have to earn respect. The Total Package was ready to go right there and then, but Borga said that they will fight when and where he says so. Borga left the ring to a negative response while Luger glared at him. Before the next match, Vince McMahon revealed that The Supermodels have been confirmed as the number one contenders to the Tag Team Titles and will face The Thrillseekers for the gold at SummerSlam. The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael) defeated Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker when Martel pinned Berzerker after the Fashion Victim in 0:06:30. Rating: ** During the match, The Supermodels cut an insert promo looking resplendent in Armani. Rick Martel said that their latest fashion accessory would be the big gold belts that he and Raphael will be sporting around their waists after SummerSlam! Afterwards, Harvey Wippleman led TITAN down to the ring. The crowd looked on in awe as TITAN targeted Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker, flattening each man with a giant choke slam. In this week's vignette, Fatu spoke of his real-life experience growing up in the ghetto and being hit in a drive-by shooting, which left him clinically dead for three minutes and with a large scar on his abdomen. Fatu talked about his desire to help the community.
Waylon Mercy made AC Connor submit to the Procedure in 0:05:43. Waylon Mercy suffered a larynx injury. He will be out for approximately 1 month. Rating: * 3/4 Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler discussed the recent encounters between Owen Hart and the duo of Mr Perfect and Barry Windham. Perfect and Windham refused to attack The Rocket two weeks ago on Superstars and actually came to Owen's aid this past week on Monday Night RAW. Lawler revealed that he has invited all three men to the King's Court this week and vowed to get to the bottom of this situation.
Zan Panzer pinned Tatanka after a rolling reverse cradle in 0:06:48. Rating: * 1/2 Tatanka easily dominated Zan Panzer here this evening, but it soon became apparent that he was out to take advantage of the newcomer. The Native American had several chances to pin The Master of the Pan Flute, but each time he pulled Panzer up by the mask at two and then continued to slap him around. Eventually, the Big Boss Man made his way down to ringside, tired of Tatanka’s antics. Tatanka jawed with the Boss Man, allowing Panzer to sneak up from behind and cradle him for the win! Circuit information: Tatanka suffered the most embarrassing loss of his career tonight and it is difficult to find any sympathy for him. The Native American could have put away newcomer Zan Panzer many times, but instead decided to toy with the Master of the Pan Flute instead. Big Boss Man came out to object and Panzer rolled the distracted Tatanka up for the three count. Tatanka is furious, with Boss Man the subject of his anger.
Lex Luger and Ludvig Borga had a tense confrontation tonight ahead of their Intercontinental Title Match at SummerSlam. Borga clarified that he ensured Luger retained the title against Crush so he could face whom he perceives to be the weaker man for the title. The Hellraiser from Helsinki also stated that he will be patient and wait until 27 August to conclude his plan.
This week's edition of Monday Night RAW will be a packed show. We'll bring you the official contract signing for the WWF Championship Match at SummerSlam between champion Bret Hart and challenger British Bulldog, plus Jerry Lawler has promised to get answers when Owen Hart, Mr Perfect and Barry Windham all appear in the King's Court. Also, Adam Bomb, Big Van Vader, Great Muta and PJ Walker will all be in action! Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW August 14th, 1995 Centrum, Worcester, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon, "Macho Man" Randy Savage and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. Tonight on Monday Night RAW, Big Van Vader faces off with the master illusionist Phantasio. Vader apparently requested this match because in his mind Phantasio hides behind facepaint, just like his SummerSlam opponent The Ultimate Warrior. Backstage, The Ultimate Warrior was shown arriving at the arena where he was confronted by Harley Race. Warrior went after Race, but he was blindsided by Big Van Vader and a steel chair. Warrior tried to fight back, but Race tazered him in the leg! Vader then destroyed the grounded Warrior with a succession of vicious chair shots until officials were able to intervene. The Mastodon is on the rampage!! Adam Bomb pinned The Birdman with the Atom Smasher in 0:06:03. Rating: * 1/2 On the King's Court, Jerry Lawler asked Mr Perfect and Barry Windham why they helped out Owen Hart last week. Perfect invited Owen down to the ring so they could explain to him in person. The Rocket made his way out, looking very wary of Perfect and Windham. Perfect put Owen over huge, building him up as a second generation superstar just like he and Windham are. Perfect said that Owen has lived and breathed the business ever since he was born, unlike the New Generation punks who haven't paid a due in their lives. Perfect invited Owen to join their cause and help rid the WWF of the New Generation. Perfect claimed that Owen owes it to his father Stu Hart, a legend in this business and a man who must be rolling in his grave at the New Generation and their flippy gymnastics. Owen interrupted to point out that Stu isn’t actually dead. Perfect laughed it off and again asked Owen to fight by their side. The crowd implored Owen not to join up with Mr Perfect and Barry Windham. Owen thought about it and informed Perfect that he actually had a lot of respect for the New Generation of athletes in the WWF. He said that wrestlers such as Sean Waltman and Savio Vega are exciting, great to watch and the future of the business. Owen said that he considers himself part of that future as well, and the future is a bright one. Owen accused Perfect and Windham of being bitter and said that they will not be able to stop the momentum of the New Generation, before flat out rejecting Perfect's offer much to the joy of the fans in attendance! The Rocket made his way to the back, leaving Mr Perfect beside himself. Great Muta pinned Russ Greenberg with the Moonsault Press in 0:03:49. Rating: * 1/2 After the match, Gary Hart accepted the SummerSlam match against Sean Waltman on behalf of the Great Muta. Hart attempted to fire Muta up, accusing the Pearl of the Orient of going soft and demanding to see his ruthless side. Hart got right in Muta’s face and growled that he doesn’t want Muta to just beat Waltman, he wants Muta to snap Waltman's pencil-neck and put Waltman in the hospital. Backstage, Savio Vega and Sean Waltman expressed their delight to Owen Hart that he had made the right decision in rejecting Mr Perfect's offer. Ahead of his match with Big Van Vader, Phantasio emerged behind the announce table in a puff of smoke! Phantasio then whipped off Bobby Heenan's boxer shorts, which he proceeded to show to the camera and reveal to the viewers that the underwear was adorned with pink love hearts. Vince McMahon cackled. Phantasio defeated Big Van Vader by disqualification in 0:01:14. Rating: * 3/4 [Harley Race interfered against Phantasio.] The hilarity did not last long for the master illusionist. Phantasio shot silly string out of his hands at Big Van Vader in an attempt to befuddle the Mastodon, but Vader just looked irritated and floored Phantasio with a wicked lariat. Vader continually muttered, "Warrior!" as he wiped the floor with Phantasio. After a splash, Vader called for the strap from Harley Race who handed it to him. Vader then strapped the defenceless magician repeatedly across the back. Harley Race joined Big Van Vader in the ring and he stretched out Phantasio by the arms so Vader could get more free shots in with the strap. Referees came down to the ring to try and help, but Vader threatened them with the strap. The crowd were chanting for the Ultimate Warrior, but he had been taken out earlier by Vader. Eventually Randy Savage could not take it any longer and came to Phantasio's aid. He left the broadcast position and climbed to the top rope, bringing a flying axhandle down on Vader's back! Savage bodyslammed Race and then went back to work on Vader. However, Race came back and put the strap around Savage's neck, dragging him off Vader! As Race choked the Macho Man, Vader opened up with a series of body shots and then crushed Savage with an avalanche in the corner. Vader and Race made a noose with the strap and then hung Savage over the top rope! Vader lay down on the mat while pulling the strap, applying as much pressure as possible to choke the life out of Savage! Vince McMahon begged somebody, anybody, to come down and help. Eventually, The Ultimate Warrior gingerly made his way down to the ring, still showing the effects of the assault from Vader earlier. Warrior attacked Vader so that the Mastodon released his grip on the strap and Randy Savage slumped to the ringside floor. Paramedics were quickly on the scene to tend to the Macho Man, while in the ring the injured Warrior was easily overwhelmed by Vader and Race. Vader hit the Vader Bomb on Warrior and then headed back to the dressing room with Race, leaving a scene of carnage and destruction behind them. Bob Backlund made Jeff Hardy submit to the Cross-Face Chicken Wing in 0:04:42. Rating: ** After the match, Bob Backlund cut a promo on PJ Walker. Mr Backlund talked about how much pleasure it had been to put Walker's girlfriend Francine in the Chicken Wing and then made a crack that Francine is stronger than PJ. Backlund accepted Walker's challenge for a match at SummerSlam and once again vowed to end the young man's career. It was time for the contract signing for the WWF Championship Match at SummerSlam. Champion Bret Hart and challenger British Bulldog stared each other down, while Lord Alfred Hayes reviewed the paperwork alongside WWF President Jack Tunney. Todd Pettengill was on hand to grab a word with both participants. The Bulldog said that this was his very first opportunity to compete for the WWF Championship and he thanked Hayes for helping him achieve this. Bulldog said that three years ago, he and the Hitman wrestled in the main event of SummerSlam for a title and it was the Bulldog who walked out with the gold. In two weeks, Bulldog claimed that history will repeat itself, and then he signed the contract. Bret Hart admitted that in August 1992 the British Bulldog had been the better man, but this time the crowd would not be so partisan. The crowd cheered The Hitman. Hart said that this year at SummerSlam the Bulldog won’t have 80,000 people on his side. In fact, after recent events, Hart doubted there would be even one single person in the Pittsburgh Civic Arena rooting for the Bulldog. Hart then put his name to the contract, before Lord Alfred Hayes interjected and said Hart’s comments weren’t strictly true. There would be at least one person cheering on the British Bulldog, and Bret knows them very well… Out from the back walked Diana Smith – Bret’s sister and Bulldog’s wife! The Hitman looked disappointed as Diana entered the ring and kissed her husband. Diana admitted that she had been torn between the two during their 1992 SummerSlam classic, but this year Diana said she was rooting 100% for her husband Davey. Diana claimed that nobody was listening to Davey before he aligned himself with Lord Alfred Hayes, and then gave credit to Hayes for getting Davey a title shot. Hayes acknowledged this with a slight nod. Diana said that she couldn’t wait to become the wife of the WWF Champion and then made her exit alongside the Bulldog and Lord Alfred Hayes, leaving The Hitman shaking his head. This family matter grows ever more personal as the mind games begin ahead of SummerSlam. Circuit information: Three years ago Diana Smith was a conflicted woman as she watched her brother and her husband wage war over the Intercontinental Title at Wembley Stadium. This time though she is firmly behind the British Bulldog and is turning her back on her own flesh and blood, Bret Hart. This situation is tearing the Hart family apart. Macho Man Randy Savage was taken to a local medical facility after Big Van Vader attempted to hang him with a leather strap. Vader also left his mark on Phantasio and his SummerSlam opponent, The Ultimate Warrior. This Strap Match promises to be one of the most physical battles ever contested in a WWF ring.
It became apparent tonight that Mr Perfect and Barry Windham's recent strange behaviour with regards to Owen Hart was being conducted to get The Rocket onside and to butter him up. Despite this, Owen still turned down Mr Perfect's approach to join Perfect and Barry Windham in their fight against the New Generation. Perfect was furious about it after the show, telling people that the Rocket has made a big mistake. Two challenges were accepted tonight so let’s take a look at the updated card for SummerSlam, which is live on Sunday 27th August from the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: WWF Championship Match Bret “Hitman” Hart vs British Bulldog WWF Intercontinental Championship Match Lex Luger vs Ludvig Borga
WWF Tag Team Championship Match The Thrillseekers vs The Supermodels White Castle of Fear Strap Match Big Van Vader vs Ultimate Warrior PJ Walker vs Bob Backlund Sean Waltman vs Great Muta Crush vs Shawn Michaels - to be confirmed
However, the last match listed above is very much in doubt because Shawn Michaels' future with the company has been thrown into question. Michaels has flat out refused to compete unless it is for the WWF Championship and has publicly stated that he will not wrestle Crush at SummerSlam. WWF President Jack Tunney is scheduled to make a statement on the future of the Heartbreak Kid this weekend on Superstars.
Also coming up on Superstars this weekend, Intercontinental Champion Lex Luger is in action against Rockabilly, plus Taz, Jeff Jarrett, TITAN and the Heavenly Bodies will all be competing. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars August 19th, 1995 Civic Center, Portland, ME Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler. We opened with a shot of Jack Tunney in his office, with the WWF President poised to address the situation with Shawn Michaels and his refusal to compete unless it is for the World Heavyweight Title. Tunney said that due to Michaels refusal to compete against Adam Bomb on Superstars and against Crush at SummerSlam, and his refusal to fulfil his contractual obligations, he is suspending Shawn Michaels indefinitely! Lex Luger made Rockabilly submit to the Rebel Rack in 0:06:00. Rating: ** 1/4 There is some history between these two men after Lex Luger knocked out Rockabilly with his steel-plated forearm last month on Monday Night RAW before their scheduled match ever got started. Rockabilly never got started here tonight either, as the Total Package breezed to a win with the Rebel Rack. After the match, Vince McMahon disputed Ludvig Borga’s comments about Lex Luger last week by remarking that the Intercontinental Champion looks 100% and he could not see any weaknesses. While Luger celebrated, his SummerSlam opponent Borga attacked him and took him down. The Hellraiser from Helsinki tried to go after Luger’s recently injured knee, but Luger kicked him off and cleared him from the ring with a clothesline! The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Prichard) defeated Barry Horowitz and Duane Gill when Tom Prichard pinned B. Horowitz with the Power Bomb in 0:03:12. Rating: ** 1/2 During the match, it was announced that a huge six man tag team match has been signed for this coming week on Monday Night RAW, which will see the Fytch Wrestling Enterprises trio of Scott Steiner and The Heavenly Bodies face off against Crush and Tag Team Champions The Thrillseekers. Taz defeated Bob Holly when Bob Holly passed out in the Tazmission in 0:06:18. Rating: *** [Kimona interfered against Bob Holly.] In the final vignette for Fatu, he explained that he said no to drugs and stayed in school and encouraged all kids watching to do the same. Fatu will continue to spread this positive message next week on Superstars when he makes his debut. Jeff Jarrett made Marty Jannetty submit to the Figure-Four Leglock in 0:07:17. Rating: *** 1/4 Vince McMahon announced that next weekend on Superstars, there will be an invitational battle royal open to any superstar never to have held the WWF Championship. The winner of the match will receive a WWF Title shot in the near future. Handicap-Match: TITAN defeated Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker when TITAN pinned Ferguson with the Choke Slam in 0:02:35. Rating: ** Despite being outnumbered, TITAN easily overwhelmed both of his opponents and smashed both Friar Ferguson and The Berzerker with an incredible double choke slam to win. After the bout, TITAN threw both men over the top rope to the floor. Jerry Lawler said that this was a preview of what we can expect next week and confidently predicted that Harvey Wippleman’s giant will win the battle royal. Circuit information: Wow. WWF President Jack Tunney took drastic action tonight against Shawn Michaels, suspending the former Intercontinental Champion indefinitely after Michaels' recent refusals to compete. The Heartbreak Kid's strong-arm tactics to secure a WWF Championship Match have backfired spectacularly.
If Michaels was still around, surely he would have been considered one of the favourites in next week's Golden Opportunity Battle Royal, which is open to any WWF superstar never to have held the WWF Title. The winner will get a shot at the big one, so it presents a fantastic chance for somebody to make a name for themselves.
This week on Monday Night RAW, it is the go-home show for SummerSlam and we can exclusively reveal that a gigantic tag team match has been signed for the show. The Hart brothers, Bret and Owen, will team up again to face the British Bulldog and Hunter Hearst Helmsley from the Gentleman's Club. It's a big opportunity for either The Hitman or The Bulldog to deliver a significant psychological blow with a win ahead of their WWF Championship Match at SummerSlam.
In addition to that match-up, we will also bring you the six man tag team match announced tonight on Superstars where Crush teams with Tag Team Champions The Thrillseekers to battle Fytch Wrestling Enterprises. You do not want to miss this show as we count down to the hottest show of the summer! Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW August 21st, 1995 Centrum, Worcester, MA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. The show began with a huge six man tag team match pitting the trio of Crush and WWF Tag Team Champions The Thrillseekers against Fytch Wrestling Enterprises. Vince McMahon announced that both Crush and Scott Steiner will compete in this weekend's battle royal on Superstars, where the winner will earn themselves a WWF Title shot in the near future. Bobby Heenan claimed that the Thrillseekers' SummerSlam opponents The Supermodels were backstage. The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) and Crush defeated Fytch Wrestling Enterprises (Jimmy Del Ray, Scott Steiner and Tom Prichard) when Crush defeated S. Steiner by disqualification in 0:12:18. Rating: ** 1/2 [Tammy Fytch interfered against Crush.] After this match got underway, the suspended Shawn Michaels dialled in and said he was talking to his lawyers after Jack Tunney’s decision. The Heartbreak Kid said he hoped to sue the company for every penny it is worth. Vince McMahon suggested that this whole unfortunate situation could be avoided if Michaels simply apologises to Tunney. Then maybe a spot could be found on the SummerSlam card for Michaels, perhaps against Friar Ferguson or one of the Bushwhackers! A seething Michaels hung up in disgust. The Supermodels then wandered down to ringside as the show went to commercial. Back from the ad break and The Supermodels had seized possession of the Tag Team Title belts from the timekeeper. Rick Martel and Raphael tried the belts on for size and admired how each other looked, drawing the ire of The Thrillseekers. Jericho and Storm left the ring to confront their SummerSlam opponents, who proceeded to high-tail it to the back with the champions' gold still strapped around their waists! The Thrillseekers took off after them, completely forgetting about the match in progress. Scott Steiner and The Heavenly Bodies teamed up to destroy Crush three-on-one. The official threw the match out when Fytch's men refused to leave the ring. Jericho and Storm ran back out to prevent any further damage being done to the big Hawaiian. Vince McMahon revealed more names for this weekend's battle royal on Superstars: Sean Waltman, Sabu, Savio Vega, Lex Luger, Jeff Jarrett, Bam Bam Bigelow, Adam Bomb, Big Boss Man, Tatanka, no less than three representatives from Black Friday Management in Ludvig Borga, Great Muta and Taz, and perhaps most ominously, Harvey Wippleman's 7'4" 440 pound giant, TITAN! Bret Hart was interviewed backstage by Todd Pettengill while the finish of the Hitman's Intercontinental Title Match with the British Bulldog at SummerSlam '92 rolled on screen. Hart admitted that at Wembley Stadium, he lost fair and square in the centre of the ring. The Hitman said that this has been in his mind for a long, long time and it has eaten away at him for three years. Bret vowed to gain redemption by beating the Bulldog at SummerSlam, stating that it is a dog-eat-dog world and what goes around comes around. The Excellence of Execution claimed he would walk out of SummerSlam still WWF Champion and prove once again that he is the Best There Is, Best There Was and the Best There Ever Will Be. Bret Hart then joined up with his brother Owen and they headed towards the curtain, but they were confronted by Mr Perfect and Barry Windham. Todd Pettengill hung around to pick up the conversation. Perfect ranted at Owen that when he refused Perfect's offer last week, The Rocket humiliated him. Perfect said that nobody embarrasses Mr Perfect and claimed that Owen is no better than the rest of these New Generation punks. Perfect said that Owen needed to be taught a lesson and challenged The Rocket to face Barry Windham at SummerSlam. Owen accepted without hesitation and he and Bret then made their way out to the arena. Perfect and Windham smiled at each other. Bret Hart and Owen Hart defeated British Bulldog and Hunter Hearst Helmsley when O. Hart defeated Helmsley by disqualification in 0:15:23. Rating: *** [Lord Alfred Hayes interfered against Bret Hart.] [Barry Windham interfered against Owen Hart.] While the British Bulldog and Bret Hart fought on the floor, Owen went up top for the Rocket Launcher on Hunter Hearst Helmsley but Barry Windham ran out and crotched Owen for the DQ. Barry Windham drilled the prone Owen Hart with the superplex as Mr Perfect came out to cheer on his running buddy. Meanwhile, the British Bulldog rammed Bret Hart back-first into the ringpost and then laid him out with a running powerslam on the floor! Circuit information: SummerSlam is live this Sunday night on pay-per-view from the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Let's preview the card: WWF Championship Bret “Hitman” Hart vs British Bulldog There has never been a WWF Champion with the guts and intensity of Bret Hart, which makes it surprising to hear him talk tonight about still having something to prove. However, The Hitman thinks he does and defeat to his brother-in-law the British Bulldog three years ago in front of 80,000 fans at Wembley Stadium still haunts Hart. The Hitman is determined to bury the ghosts of his past when he puts the WWF Title on the line against the same opponent, the first time the two men have collided in singles competition since that legendary SummerSlam ‘92 battle over the Intercontinental Championship.
The British Bulldog earned this opportunity by winning this year's King of the Ring tournament. Bulldog then hooked up with Lord Alfred Hayes in order to help get him ahead in the WWF and to stop others, specifically Bret Hart, from holding him back. This has enabled the Bulldog to keep the upper hand on the Hitman and Bulldog even scored another clean pin over the champion in the tag team main event at last month’s In Your House pay-per-view. The Hart family has also been dragged into this situation since Bulldog changed his philosophy, with Bret's sister Diana firmly siding with her husband Davey Boy. How will this play into what is sure to be an emotionally charged battle at SummerSlam? WWF Intercontinental Championship Lex Luger vs Ludvig Borga Since the very first show back in 1988, the Intercontinental Title has changed hands at SummerSlam EVERY SINGLE YEAR. The man tasked with ending this remarkable run is current champion Lex Luger, who defends against Ludvig Borga. Borga is confident of victory against who he perceives is an injury-ravaged Total Package. But since returning from a serious neck injury at WrestleMania, Luger dethroned Scott Steiner as Intercontinental Champion and has gone on to defend the gold against all comers, including Jeff Jarrett and The Roadie in a Handicap Match last month at In Your House. The cold and calculating Borga is focused on taking Luger apart and capturing his first championship in the WWF, thus continuing to keep the Intercontinental Title belt a hot potato at SummerSlam. WWF Tag Team Championship The Thrillseekers vs The Supermodels The Supermodels, Rick Martel and Raphael, feel that they should have received this title shot earlier this summer. They cut a deal with the Hollywood Blonds where if they helped Brian Pillman win the Body Count Match against Rocco Rock at In Your House, then in return the Blonds would give up the Tag Team Title shot they earned. The Supermodels held up their end of the bargain, but the Blonds reneged on the deal and took the title shot against The Thrillseekers at the King of the Ring. Rick Martel and Raphael were not impressed and decided to make their presence felt at the June pay-per-view, causing enough distraction for the Blonds to lose the match and then the Supermodels attacked the champions afterwards. Now, after recording two pinfalls over Lance Storm and Chris Jericho in recent weeks, The Supermodels are out to try and win the one that matters on Sunday. White Castle of Fear Strap Match Big Van Vader vs Ultimate Warrior Big Van Vader and The Ultimate Warrior are embroiled in one of the most physical and violent feuds we have witnessed in many years. No clear winner was determined in their two previous singles matches and in fact these two superstars almost destroyed the whole building during the course of their wild brawl at the King of the Ring. It has led up to Vader challenging the Warrior to this strap match. To win, one man must reach all four corners, dragging his opponent along and touching either each turnbuckle or ring post. It's a stipulation that favours the larger man - the one more likely to drag the other — and that's exactly why Vader chose it. Vader has already demonstrated what damage he can do with the strap against Phantasio and in particular Randy Savage, who has not been seen since the attempted hanging last week on Monday Night RAW. The Warrior has already acknowledged that Vader poses the greatest challenge he has ever faced in his career, but does the strap stipulation mean that this is a bridge too far for the Warrior at SummerSlam? PJ Walker vs Bob Backlund The relationship between Bob Backlund and his protégé PJ Walker became strained early this year when Walker made some rookie mistakes and ended up costing the duo their chance at the Tag Team Titles on two occasions. The latest, at In Your House in May, sent Backlund over the edge. He snapped. He went nuts. It was a shocking metamorphosis for the clean cut, howdy-doody style Backlund, who went from one extreme to the other. After injuring Walker with the dreaded Cross-Face Chicken Wing, the crazed Backlund went on a spree of applying his finished hold to everybody in sight, from fellow wrestlers, to referees, to the ring crew. Backlund knew no bounds and nobody was safe, exemplified when the former WWF Champion locked PJ Walker's girlfriend Francine in the excruciating manoeuvre. Walker is back from his shoulder injury and ready to make Backlund pay at SummerSlam. Sean Waltman vs Great Muta In the first round of this year's King of the Ring tournament, Great Muta and Sean Waltman contested a stunning battle which saw Muta edge out on top. Waltman seemed to earn Muta's respect for his gutsy performance and Muta even came to Waltman's aid last month on Monday Night RAW when Mr Perfect and Barry Windham attempted to re-injure Waltman's neck with a spike piledriver. This show of compassion does not sit well with Muta's manager, Gary Hart. When Waltman challenged Muta to a rematch at SummerSlam, Hart quickly accepted and has demanded that Muta show his ruthless side on Sunday. Barry Windham vs Owen Hart When Mr Perfect suffered a biceps tear last month at In Your House, it forced him to recruit new members to his cause of ridding the company of the New Generation. He targeted Owen Hart, a second generation superstar, and attempted to appeal to the traditional values he'd hoped Owen's father Stu had instilled in The Rocket. Owen rejected Perfect's advances, revealing his admiration for the New Generation of WWF Superstars. Perfect was incensed that Owen refused his offer and because he is in to condition to teach The Rocket a lesson, he has enlisted the help of his running buddy Barry Windham to do just that.
Before we get to SummerSlam however, there is the small matter of that Golden Opportunity Battle Royal this week on Superstars. Who will emerge victorious and earn themselves a shot at the WWF Title? Find out this weekend!!

WWF Superstars August 26th, 1995 Civic Center, Portland, ME Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
Comments aired from Gary Hart who was very confident of victory for Black Friday Management in tonight's Golden Opportunity battle royal. Hart’s group have three participants: Ludvig Borga, Taz and the Great Muta. Meanwhile, Harvey Wippleman was gushing over TITAN’s chances and he predicted that his giant would lay waste to nineteen men tonight.
The Hollywood Blonds (Steve Austin and Brian Pillman) defeated The New Headshrinkers (Sionne and Samu) when Pillman pinned Sionne after the Brush with Greatness in 0:06:59. Rating: ** [Afa interfered against Brian Pillman.]
More comments from some of the participants in the battle royal. Tatanka said it would go some way to righting the wrongs made against his people when he earns an opportunity tonight to compete for the WWF Championship. Owen Hart revealed that it was a dream of his to wrestle his brother with the WWF Title at stake. Jeff Jarrett said that with Rockabilly watching his back, Double J will win the battle royal and then go on to put the WWF Championship on his wall beside all his gold records.
Fatu pinned Skinner with the Samoan Splash in 0:04:34. Rating: ** 1/4
Fatu is here to make a difference and he also made an impact in his debut at the expense of poor Skinner. Fatu dominated with headbutts, then hit a powerslam and Ace Crusher before finishing with the flying splash.
Golden Opportunity Battle Royal
The burgeoning rivalry between Crush and Scott Steiner boiled over in the early stages of this battle royal when they each crashed over the top rope to the floor and brawled all the way to the back. Owen Hart struck Barry Windham with an enzuigiri, who then staggered into a backdrop over the top from the Great Muta. Muta and Owen worked well together, unlike Muta and his own stablemate Taz. Muta accidentally nailed Taz with an errant kick and the Human Suplex Machine responded by flinging Muta out of the battle royal! Muta was not impressed, but did not get any sympathy from his manager Gary Hart on the outside and instead received an earlashing for screwing up.
Big Boss Man has had a problem with Tatanka in recent weeks and chucked out the Native American for a very popular elimination with the crowd. However, it would be Tatanka who would have the last laugh when he dropped Boss Man with a Samoan Drop on the floor after Rockabilly had sneaked up and dumped Boss Man out.
Intercontinental Champion Lex Luger, who has probably come closer than anyone in the battle royal to winning the WWF Title, was looking good. Luger had smashed through Rockabilly last week on Superstars and sent him packing here tonight, before clotheslining out the man who will challenge him for his gold at SummerSlam, Ludvig Borga. All Black Friday Management’s hopes were now pinned on Taz. Sean Waltman used those patented educated feet to send out Jeff Jarrett, who was absolutely livid about the elimination.
The huge favourite going into this battle royal was the 7’4”, 440 pound TITAN, who has been showing up at will and leaving a path of bodies in his wake over the past month on Superstars. TITAN dashed the chances of four men – Marty Jannetty, PJ Walker, Savio Vega and Sabu – effortlessly launching each out of the ring. However, two men who have come up against TITAN in the past – Adam Bomb and Bam Bam Bigelow – used their collective efforts to topple the giant over the top rope to the floor! The crowd were on their feet as Bomb and Bigelow celebrated; this battle royal was now anybody’s to win! Harvey Wippleman was furious and sent TITAN back in the ring, where he destroyed everybody he could lay his substantial hands on with choke slams! Bam Bam Bigelow, Lex Luger, Adam Bomb, Owen Hart and Sean Waltman were all left laying by the giant, but the only man who had managed to avoid the carnage was Taz who had cleverly decided to take a timely powder outside the ring. Taz immediately set to work dumping the dead weight out of the ring: Luger, Owen, Bigelow and Bomb were all cleared out by the Human Suplex Machine. Taz was now left all alone with a prostrate Sean Waltman and the One Man Crime Spree rubbed his hands as he went in for the kill. Taz dragged Waltman’s limp body off the canvas, but Waltman fired back with kicks much to the joy of the crowd, who were firmly behind Waltman. Waltman dominated Taz with a roundhouse kick and spinning heel kick but when Waltman went for a move off the top, he landed right into the waiting clutches of Taz. Taz then popped Waltman over the top rope to the floor with a suplex! The One Man Crime Spree wins the battle royal and earns a future WWF Title shot!
[Golden Opportunity Battle Royal]: 20-Man Battle Royal: Taz won a 20-man Battle Royal: x Crush threw out S. Steiner in 0:01:02 x S. Steiner threw out Crush in 0:01:02 x Muta threw out B. Windham after a backdrop in 0:05:03 x Taz threw out Muta in 0:07:50 x TITAN threw out Sabu in 0:08:36 x TITAN threw out Walker in 0:09:54 x Boss Man threw out Tatanka in 0:10:37 x Rockabilly threw out Boss Man in 0:11:36 x Luger threw out Rockabilly in 0:12:59 x Luger threw out Borga after a clothesline in 0:13:59 x Waltman threw out J. Jarrett after a spinning mule kick in 0:14:24 x TITAN threw out S. Vega in 0:14:34 x TITAN threw out Jannetty in 0:15:16 x A. Bomb threw out TITAN in 0:17:18 x Taz threw out Luger in 0:20:44 x Taz threw out O. Hart after a bodyslam in 0:20:59 x Taz threw out Bigelow in 0:21:25 x Taz threw out A. Bomb in 0:21:40 x Taz threw out Waltman after an overhead belly-to-belly Tazplex in 0:23:19 Rating: *** [Tennessee Lee interfered against Crush.] [Tennessee Lee interfered against Big Boss Man.]
Circuit information: As a result of his win tonight, Taz will be an interested spectator for the WWF Championship Match tomorrow night at SummerSlam! Let's preview that match as well as the rest of the card, which is live from the Pittsburgh Civic Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. WWF Championship Bret “Hitman” Hart vs British Bulldog There has never been a WWF Champion with the guts and intensity of Bret Hart, which makes it surprising to hear him talk tonight about still having something to prove. WWF SUMMERSLAM '95 August 27th, 1995 Pittsburgh Civic Arena, Pittsburgh, PA Your commentators are Jim Ross and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Sean Waltman vs Great Muta
Both men were extremely motivated for this, with Sean Waltman especially keen to avenge his loss at King of the Ring. Great Muta attacked early and tried for the moonsault, but Waltman got out of the way. However, Muta landed on his feet, sent Waltman to the floor and used a plancha onto him on the outside. Later, Waltman sent Muta to the floor with a spin kick and tried to follow up with a springboard twisting crossbody, but Muta avoided it and Waltman crashed hard. Muta followed up with a vicious backdrop suplex on the mats at ringside and Waltman came up favouring his neck. Muta slowed the pace with a chinlock, but Gary Hart screamed at him to go after Waltman's neck. Muta appeared to ignore Hart's requests for the Muta lock.
Waltman had the handspring elbow scouted and countered with a dropkick to the back, but when Waltman attempted to follow up with a rana Muta power bombed him. Waltman was clutching his neck again and Muta was hesitant to go after the injury, despite Gary Hart demanding it. Instead, Muta opted to attack Waltman's leg, using a dragon screw and figure-four leglock. Hart looked like he would have a fit at ringside, growing ever more frustrated with his charge. Waltman kicked Muta off, but Muta jumped to the top turnbuckle and used a moonsault bodyblock for a very close fall. Muta went for the moonsault, but Waltman moved and Muta landed on his feet. Waltman quickly attempted the Eye of the Storm, but Muta countered with a jawbreaker and tried another moonsault. However, Waltman got his knees up and then followed up with a Northern Lights suplex on the winded Muta for the pin!
Sean Waltman pinned Great Muta after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:13:28. Rating: **** 1/4 [Gary Hart and Kimona interfered against Sean Waltman.]
The crowd gave both superstars a standing ovation after the match. In a display of respect, Great Muta bowed at Sean Waltman, a gesture Waltman returned before leaving the ring to celebrate. A furious Gary Hart then confronted Muta. Hart's anger boiled over and he slapped the taste out of Muta's mouth!! The fans wanted Muta to go after Hart, but Taz and the Arabian Butchers appeared and Muta thought better of it.
WWF Tag Team Championship The Thrillseekers vs The Supermodels
The challengers isolated Chris Jericho and worked over his lower back, switching illegally behind the referee's back to rile up the crowd. Raphael used a back suplex and Martel applied an abdominal stretch (with a Raphael assist). Jericho slid through Raphael's legs and dropkicked out of a flapjack attempt, enabling him to make the hot tag to Lance Storm. Storm cleaned house with kneelifts and dropkicks, but soon the match had completely broken down and all four men were fighting. Jericho went for a tope on Raphael but the Supermodel caught him and bodyslammed him on the floor. Martel and Raphael hoisted Jericho up for the Fashion Victim, but Storm broke it up with a missile dropkick and Jericho escaped. Storm then small packaged Raphael to retain.
The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael) when L. Storm pinned Raphael with a small package in 0:08:45. Rating: *** 1/2 (The Thrillseekers retained the WWF World Tag Team Titles.)
The Supermodels were furious and attacked the victorious champions after the bell. Suddenly, familiar hip-hop music filled the area which signalled the arrival of Public Enemy! Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge had not been seen since the inaugural In Your House event back in May, but they made their return tonight to save The Thrillseekers. Rock and Grunge laid out Rick Martel and Raphael, but when they left the ring in search of tables to do further damage, The Supermodels got out of dodge.
Barry Windham vs Owen Hart
Owen Hart used his quickness to frustrate Barry Windham, taking him down with a drop toe hold and working the arm, perhaps softening The Widowmaker up so his lariat would not be so effective. Windham dodged a dropkick, fired Owen chest-first into the corner and followed up with a back suplex. Windham got a near fall off a gutwrench suplex, but The Rocket countered the lariat with a backslide for a two count of his own. Owen almost won it with a flying cross body, but when he charged in again Windham threw him through the ropes to the outside. Mr Perfect snuck up behind Owen and was thinking about shoving him into the ringpost, but Savio Vega came down to ringside to cut Perfect off. The referee was distracted by the argument outside the ring and Windham capitalised with a low blow on Owen for the pin.
Barry Windham pinned Owen Hart after a low blow in 0:10:36. Rating: *** 3/4
White Castle of Fear Strap Match Big Van Vader vs Ultimate Warrior
This bloody, intense war was the most engrossing strap match perhaps in professional wrestling history. With nearly 200 pounds on The Ultimate Warrior, Big Van Vader demonstrated why he picked this match early on, yanking Warrior all around the ring. Warrior gathered some momentum after crotching Vader with the strap and hammered the Mastodon with a series of clotheslines in the corner. Every bit of offence that Warrior delivered caused the crowd to explode. Warrior used an effortless bodyslam and back suplex on Vader and then starting whipping him with the strap. The Mastodon's skin grew bright red and he began to ooze blood from the raw wounds on his back. Sensing danger, Harley Race got on the apron and Warrior whipped him too. Vader bailed under the ropes so Warrior had to follow and he dragged Vader into the ring post. Warrior slammed Vader on the floor and opted to drag Vader around the outside and collect posts out there instead, a smart move on the part of The Ultimate Warrior. Vader stopped that by dragging Warrior into the rail. Blood was gushing from Vader’s back. Vader dragged Warrior into the Baby Bull splashes and Warrior had no hope of escape because of the strap. Vader looked for a power bomb but Warrior backdropped out. Race tripped Warrior as he tried to build a head of steam and Vader connected with a splash. Vader got to the whippin’ as a receipt. Vader picked Warrior up and climbed the buckles for a SUPER SAMOAN DROP! Vader started collecting corners but Warrior kicked him off. Vader choked Warrior with the strap, hit an avalanche but then missed a senton off the top rope which if he had hit would have been the end of Warrior's career. Warrior picked Vader up on his back and carried him to three corners but was once again tripped by Race and fell just inches shy of the fourth. Warrior had had enough and tried to go after Race, but Race passed a pair of handcuffs to Vader who used them to cuff Warrior to the bottom rope! Vader pummelled away on his bitter enemy, with saliva and blood flying all over the place. The crowd was stunned at the trapped Warrior getting beaten up so badly. Warrior, now bleeding from the unprotected punches, then tasted the Vader Bomb. Vader began slapping turnbuckle pads when suddenly Randy Savage sprinted out from the back to an enormous pop! The Macho Man took down Race, obtained the key for the handcuffs and freed Warrior! Savage distracted Vader before he could reach the final corner, buying Warrior enough time to recover and fell the Mastodon with a series of clotheslines! Vader was struggling as Warrior hit the big splash off the ropes. Randy Savage then nailed Vader with the flying elbow for good measure! With Vader neutralised, The Ultimate Warrior touched all four turnbuckles to mercifully end this ferocious battle.
[White Castle of Fear Strap Match]: Strap Match: The Ultimate Warrior defeated Big Van Vader in 0:20:25. Big Van Vader tore his right achilles tendon. He will be out for approximately 6 months. Rating: *** 3/4 [Harley Race interfered against The Ultimate Warrior.] [Randy Savage interfered against Big Van Vader.]
Intercontinental Championship Lex Luger vs Ludvig Borga
Ludvig Borga destroyed Lex Luger with punches and levelled him with a running lariat. The challenger followed up with a Stinger splash and ran Luger down with another clothesline. Borga went up top but Luger met him and hit a top-rope superplex! After the two men double clotheslined each other, Gary Hart distracted the official while Kimona headed into the ring and gave the downed Borga the title belt. Borga clocked Luger with it, but the champion kicked out! Luger fired up and came back with a DDT and a reverse elbow. Luger powerslammed Borga off an Irish whip for another near fall. Luger hopped over a telegraphed backdrop and clobbered Borga with the forearm, but Borga draped a foot over the bottom rope! Gary Hart began arguing with the official to try and give Borga a breather, but when Luger went to confront him, Kimona raked the champion's eyes! Borga took advantage, pummelling Luger's kidneys with some vicious punches and then executing the Rack and Ruin to win the title.
Ludvig Borga pinned Lex Luger with the Rack and Ruin in 0:16:07. Rating: *** 1/2 (Ludvig Borga won the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [Kimona interfered against Lex Luger.]
PJ Walker vs Bob Backlund
PJ Walker was all over Bob Backlund for the majority of this brawl and was on course for victory when he drilled Backlund with the Underdog, much to the joy of the fans in attendance. However, Walker did not go for the cover and instead let Backlund get slowly back to his feet. Walker had something else in mind as he trapped Backlund in his own finishing hold, the Cross-Face Chicken Wing! The hold had barely been applied when Backlund suddenly gave up!
PJ Walker made Bob Backlund submit to the cross-face chicken wing in 0:10:54. Rating: *** 3/4
The bell rang and PJ Walker was announced as the winner, but Walker was not happy as he dumped Bob Backlund to the mat in disgust. Walker had wanted to make Backlund suffer, but instead his former mentor had given up before the pain could take hold. It had been a deeply unsatisfying win for Walker.
Backlund smirked as he got back up and went to leave the ring. Walker could take no more and went after Backlund, dragging him back in and pounding him. Officials managed to prise Walker off, but he broke through and went back after Backlund! Again the referees intervened and one of the hapless zebras was decked by PJ for his trouble. Francine then hopped the railing and got in the ring to calm her boyfriend down. Francine did her best to hold PJ back as Backlund escaped. Francine tried to get PJ to look at her as she repeatedly told him that it was over. Walker was eventually placated and the two hugged.
Before the main event, there were a few last minute words from both the Bulldog and Hitman camps.
Sean Mooney was in the British Bulldog's locker room. Lord Alfred Hayes claimed that Bret Hart has been jealous of the Bulldog since they started out in Stampede Wrestling back in 1981. Diana Smith once again stated that she is solidly behind her husband and predicted that the Bulldog would win the title. Bulldog said that he took the Intercontinental Title first and now he was going to take the WWF Title.
Todd Pettengill then interviewed WWF Champion Bret Hart, who admitted that everyone wants to be champion, but tonight he will prove he is the best there is, was, and ever will be and revenge for SummerSlam '92 will be his.
WWF Championship Bret "Hitman" Hart vs British Bulldog
This was a hard-hitting, dramatic and utterly captivating main event to SummerSlam. Things started off slow with some back-and-forth mat action before the two combatants gradually picked up the pace, beating the living daylights out of each other inside and outside of the ring. On commentary, Bobby Heenan remarked that the British Bulldog was wearing the exact same tights he wore when he defeated Bret Hart three years ago at Summerslam for the Intercontinental Title. Backstage, Taz and Gary Hart were showing watching the WWF Championship Match with interest.
They worked on the mat to start with Bret dominating, including an early Sharpshooter attempt which was blocked. Bulldog caught Hart with a knee to the gut to take over. Bulldog hung Bret in the tree-of-woe and laid in with kicks, before punishing The Hitman with a chinlock. There was a nice throwback to their Summerslam ’92 match, with Bret trying the crucifix and Bulldog having the same Samoan drop counter ready. Bulldog followed up by dropping a leg across Bret’s chest. Lord Alfred Hayes nailed Bret with a cricket bat shot behind the ref’s back and the Hitman took his trademark chest-first bump off a whip to the corner. The champion got his foot on the ropes to interrupt the resultant pin attempt. Bulldog headlocked Hart and used the hair to maintain control. The Hitman finally shot him off and reverse monkeyflipped him. Bret used an atomic drop, a headbutt to the midsection and a bulldog for a near fall. Bret countered a backdrop to a piledriver for two. Bulldog blocked a superplex and crotched Bret on the top rope. The delayed vertical suplex earned a two count, as did the Military Press. Bulldog got another near fall off a diving headbutt but appeared to hurt his knee in the process. Bret countered a suplex to a beautiful bridging German suplex for two. Again Hart went for the Sharpshooter but Bulldog kicked him off. They caught each other with clotheslines for a double KO. Bulldog recovered first but got tossed over the top on a wild charge. Bret dived out onto him with a plancha and went for a springboard splash, but Bulldog countered that into a vicious powerslam on the outside. Bulldog ripped up the mat and set up for a suplex but Bret responded with a receipt from earlier in the bout by crotching Davey on the railing! Back in, a backbreaker got two for the Hitman. Bret used a superplex from the top rope for the closest fall of the match. The Hitman argued the count, enabling Bulldog to deliver a reverse rollup. However, Bret reversed that for two. Bulldog charged into the corner, but Bret got a boot up. The Hitman pounced quickly, casually rolling Bulldog up with a cradle for the three count out of nowhere.
Bret Hart pinned British Bulldog after a magistral in 0:23:29. Rating: **** (Bret Hart retained the WWF World Heavyweight Title.) [Lord Alfred Hayes interfered against Bret Hart.]
Card rating: *** 3/4
Match observations: Undoubtedly one of both men's finest hours, tonight's main event was an instant classic from the moment the bell rang. It was a victory that Bret Hart has been waiting three years for and tonight The Hitman was finally able to gain closure for that defeat to his brother-in-law the British Bulldog at SummerSlam ’92. Credit where it’s due – The Bulldog was awesome this evening and almost captured the WWF Championship on several occasions. In the end, Bulldog was undone by a smart piece of wrestling, just as Bret Hart had been back in Wembley Stadium. Ludvig Borga brought another singles title back to Black Friday Management as he won the Intercontinental Title and in doing so became the first European to hold the championship since the Bulldog. But a lot of the credit for the win has to go to Gary Hart and Kimona, who made their presence felt at ringside. Lex Luger showed he could cope when outnumbered in his recent battles with Tennessee Lee Promotions, but tonight the odds were too much for the Total Package and the Intercontinental Title changes hands yet again at SummerSlam. The eight month run as Tag Team Champions continues for The Thrillseekers as Chris Jericho and Lance Storm continue to turn back all challenges. Tonight, The Supermodels failed to make the most of the opportunity they had been made to wait for and took their frustrations out on the champions after the bell. Thankfully, Public Enemy returned to make the save. Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge have a score to settle with The Supermodels, and I can exclusively reveal that the two teams will meet tomorrow night on Monday Night RAW! The Ultimate Warrior finally vanquished the beast as Big Van Vader was defeated in a brutal Strap Match that we will remember for a long, long time. Randy Savage showed up to even the odds and ensure no further foul play could go down, before drilling Vader with a flying elbow as payback for the attack he endured at the hands of Vader and Race two weeks ago. Savage and Warrior looked good together and it certainly appears that the Macho Man has now forgiven the Warrior for abandoning him before the 1992 Survivor Series. This was Big Van Vader's last night with the company and we wish him all the best in his future endeavours. PJ Walker wanted to make Bob Backlund suffer in his own hold, but Backlund decided to end the bout before the manoeuvre was properly cinched in. The victory will be of little comfort to Walker who was desperate to punish his former mentor for injuring him and putting his hands on his girlfriend Francine. Sean Waltman’s roll continues as he defeated the Great Muta in a stunning battle. Waltman must surely be considered for title contention in the near future. Muta and Waltman once again showed their mutual respect after the bout, drawing the ire of Muta’s manager Gary Hart. Hart even slapped Muta as the relationship between the two men continues to deteriorate. Barry Windham got some revenge on Mr Perfect’s behalf when he downed Owen Hart. It was far from a clean win however and I doubt Perfect and Windham have heard the last of the New Generation. WWF President Jack Tunney will be on hand tomorrow night for Monday Night RAW, where he is expected to name the new number one contender to the WWF Championship. It will be interesting to see what effect tonight’s events will have had on the rankings.
Thanks for joining us tonight for SummerSlam, we'll see you tomorrow night at Monday Night RAW!

Monday Night RAW August 28th, 1995 Canton, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. The show began with WWF President Jack Tunney in the ring with Vince McMahon. Tunney talked about what a fantastic show SummerSlam had been and praised Bret Hart for retaining the WWF Championship in a tremendous battle against the British Bulldog. Tunney turned his attention to the WWF Title picture. Tunney congratulated Taz on his victory in this past weekend's Golden Opportunity Battle Royal on Superstars and confirmed that the Human Suplex Machine has guaranteed himself a shot at the WWF Championship at a date to be determined. However, Tunney said that he was still required to name a number one contender to the WWF Title and after much deliberation following last night's event he has decided who it is. Suddenly the British Bulldog and Lord Alfred Hayes burst out from the back. The Bulldog was hot, spitting that the whole world had witnessed him dominate The Hitman in their match last night, but Hart managed to hold onto the title thanks to a fluke pin. Bulldog claimed that nothing was resolved last night and demanded a rematch, but this time he wants it to be contested under submission rules so they can find out once and for all who the better man is, and who deserves to the wear the gold around their waist. Bulldog warned that you can talk about number one contenders as much as you like, but nobody will get a shot at the title until he gets his rematch. Tunney said that he would take this under advisement. After the break, Vince McMahon said that following the interruption in the opening segment, Jack Tunney will be out again before the end of the show to confirm the number one contender to the WWF Championship. Public Enemy (Rocco Rock and Johnny Grunge) defeated The Supermodels (Rick Martel and Raphael) when Rocco Rock defeated Raphael by countout in 0:04:33. Rating: ** 1/4 Public Enemy wasted no time in dismantling The Supermodels before going to the outside and pulling out a couple of tables from underneath the ring. When Rick Martel and Raphael caught a glimpse of the hardware they quickly hightailed it to the safety of the dressing room. Todd Pettengill presented an In Your House report, where it was announced that Sean Waltman has been named number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship and will compete for the title at the pay-per-view on September 24th. Waltman is fresh off big wins over Sabu and latterly the Great Muta last night at SummerSlam. Pettengill added that new Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga will defend his title against former champ Lex Luger in a SummerSlam rematch in two weeks on Superstars. Crush was out for revenge against Jimmy Del Ray in the next bout following last week’s 3-on-1 attack by Fytch Wrestling Enterprises. Crush defeated Jimmy Del Ray by disqualification in 0:03:26. Rating: ** 3/4 [Scott Steiner and Tom Prichard interfered against Crush.] Crush was in total control of Jimmy Del Ray while it remained a fair fight, but it didn’t stay that way for long as Scott Steiner and Tom Prichard ran in as the big Hawaiian called for the Cranium Crunch. Scott Steiner and The Heavenly Bodies beat Crush down and then Steiner called for a chair so that he could plant Crush with the SSD onto the steel. Steiner’s plans were scuppered as The Thrillseekers arrived on the scene to even up the odds. It was time for the King's Court with special guests The Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man Randy Savage. Jerry Lawler was sent running for cover when The Warrior decided to destroy the set, much to the joy of the crowd. Vince McMahon took control of the interview and congratulated Warrior on his win over Big Van Vader in the Strap Match at SummerSlam, adding that Warrior had beat the Mastodon so badly that he doubted we would see Vader again. Warrior said that he not only owed a debt of thanks to all of his little warriors out there for believing in him and helping him slay the Mastodon, but he also owed thanks to the man standing beside him - Randy Savage. The two men shook hands. Savage said that Vader found out last night that there is no greater force in the universe that when the Warrior and the Madness come together. McMahon asked if this meant that the Ultimate Maniacs were back together as the crowd voiced their approval. WWF Tag Team Champions The Thrillseekers made their way down to the ring again. Chris Jericho said that the Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage was the very definition of a dream team and claimed it would be an honour to defend their belts against them. The Macho Man said that this was a very interesting proposition, as the Tag Team belts were the only championship that have eluded he and the Warrior. A giddy McMahon asked the fans if they wanted to see The Thrillseekers vs The Ultimate Maniacs for the titles and from the volume of their response there was no doubt that they did! McMahon said a bout of this magnitude needs to be on pay-per-view and suggested they do it at In Your House next month in Saginaw. The Thrillseekers and The Ultimate Maniacs sealed the deal with handshakes all round. Barry Windham pinned Great Muta after a superplex in 0:09:09. Barry Windham suffered a larynx injury. He will be out for approximately 1 month. Rating: *** [Gary Hart interfered against Barry Windham.] Barry Windham had demanded this match after the Great Muta eliminated him from the battle royal last weekend on Superstars. The Widowmaker was struggling after Muta caught him with a vicious chop to the throat. Muta used a backbreaker to set up the moonsault. Mr Perfect tried to cause a distraction but took a mouthful of green mist to the face for his trouble! This gave Windham enough time to recover and he crotched Muta on the top rope, before taking Muta down with the superplex to win the match. Afterwards, an incensed Mr Perfect got in the ring and put the boots to Muta while Barry Windham had Muta trapped in the clawhold. Taz and the Arabian Butchers wandered out, but Gary Hart prevented them from coming to Muta's aid and instead the group watched the beating. Savio Vega, Owen Hart and Sean Waltman then hit the ring to make the save for Muta, at which point Black Friday Management did get involved and helped Perfect and Windham to leave the good guys laying. The Arabian Butchers then dragged Muta to the back. With minutes left on the show, WWF President Jack Tunney returned to the ring to name the number one contender to the WWF Title. Tunney admitted that there are a number of worthy contenders out there, but following his impressive and hard-fought victory at SummerSlam he was officially confirming The Ultimate Warrior as number one contender. The decision was met with approval from the fans in attendance. McMahon remarked that WWF Champion Bret Hart is certainly a marked man, with the British Bulldog also clamouring for a rematch and Taz waiting in the wings as well. The segment was then interrupted by a suited gentleman who introduced himself as Dean Douglas, an authorised representative of the WWF Board of Directors. Douglas revealed that at a recent meeting, the board voiced their concerns about Tunney and his "extremely questionable" decisions as of late, citing the suspension of Shawn Michaels as a recent example. Douglas said that he was here to inform Tunney that the WWF President has been placed on a “Performance Improvement Plan”, with Douglas appointed to oversee Tunney's decisions. Douglas delivered all of this information with a disingenuous smile on his face. Douglas advised Tunney to run any further decisions he was planning to make by Douglas first, before adding that there was no reason that they cannot work together on this. Jack Tunney looked a broken man, in total disbelief at the news he had just received. Meanwhile, Bobby Heenan was overjoyed on commentary, saying that this should have happened years ago! The crowd voiced their disapproval for Dean Douglas who left the ring smiling as Monday Night RAW drew to a close. Circuit information: Jack Tunney has reigned as WWF President for eleven years and has become a familiar face to fans all round the world with his appearances to make matches, arbitrate disputes between wrestlers and announce major decisions or events on television. But now you have to assume that his position is under serious threat. How is he supposed to do his job properly with somebody like Dean Douglas constantly looking over his shoulder? Where this leaves the number one contendership to the WWF Title is anybody’s guess, although it is difficult to argue that The Ultimate Warrior is undeserving of the chance to become a two-time champion. Warrior will however be presented with the opportunity to become a Tag Team Champion for the first time as the reformed Ultimate Maniacs face The Thrillseekers at In Your House. After being narrowly defeated at SummerSlam, the British Bulldog wants another shot at Bret Hart’s WWF Title and he wants it to be a submission match. You can almost guarantee that The Hitman, the most fighting champion this company has ever had, will accept this challenge. We are scheduled to hear from Bret this weekend on Superstars. Gary Hart wanted to teach Great Muta a painful lesson for his recent insubordination by forcing Muta to take a beating at the hands of Barry Windham and Mr Perfect. Thankfully Savio Vega, Owen Hart and Sean Waltman arrived to help Muta out as Hart prevented Muta’s stablemates from getting involved. Owen and new Intercontinental Title number one contender Waltman will join forces to battle Jeff Jarrett and Rockabilly on Superstars. In addition to that tag team bout, Adam Bomb with square off with TITAN on Superstars and Tatanka collides with the Big Boss Man. Till then, so long everybody!

Good PPV, except for the injury bug taking out yet another superstar.
Dean Douglas as an authority figure is a pretty good idea.

WWF Superstars September 2nd, 1995 Civic Center, Erie, PA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The show opened with the breaking news that Bret Hart has accepted the British Bulldog's challenge to a Submission Match for the WWF Championship. This bout will be the main event of our In Your House pay-per-view scheduled for Sunday night, September 24th, at the Saginaw Civic Center in Saginaw, Michigan.
Adam Bomb defeated TITAN by disqualification in 0:06:13. Rating: ** 3/4 [Harvey Wippleman interfered against Adam Bomb.]
TITAN was already seething before this bout after Adam Bomb had combined with Bam Bam Bigelow to eliminate the giant from last week's number one contender battle royal. Bomb fared a little better here than he did back at In Your House in July, staggering TITAN with a succession of clotheslines. Bomb attempted to drop TITAN with a slingshot clothesline, but Harvey Wippleman struck him in the back with a weak chair shot for the cheap DQ.
After the bell, Adam Bomb went after the ratlike Wippleman and almost decapitated his former manager with a big boot! The crowd may have enjoyed that but TITAN certainly did not. The giant snapped after seeing his manager get brutalised. TITAN shook off some chair shots from Bomb and fired back with a flurry of vicious headbutts. TITAN then murdered Bomb with a choke slam through two steel chairs which had been set up in the ring!
Bam Bam Bigelow then made his way down for a fight. TITAN cut Bigelow off at ringside and drove him into the ring post. TITAN peeled back the protective mats and tried to choke slam Bigelow on the exposed concrete floor, but thankfully Lex Luger showed up to make the save. Luger went after TITAN with punches and kicks to the gut, but was caught when he tried a forearm smash off the apron. TITAN crunched Luger's body against the ring post, then choked him against the post with his huge boot. TITAN backed up and charged, but Luger moved and sent TITAN head first, full force, into the ring post! TITAN slumped to the floor and it appeared that the giant was out cold!
Fatu pinned Damien DeMento with the Samoan Splash in 0:04:55. Rating: * 1/2
Jerry Lawler said that he heard on the rumour mill that the British Bulldog has been working on a brand new submission hold in preparation for his match with Bret Hart. Vince McMahon remarked that we might get to see this hold next week on Monday Night RAW when the Bulldog will be in action against Bob "Spark Plugg" Holly.
Todd Pettengill conducted an interview with WWF Board of Directors representative Dean Douglas regarding the Performance Improvement Plan that President Jack Tunney has been placed on. Douglas said that as within every company, some people will struggle with their performance or demonstrate unacceptable behaviour. Douglas stressed the importance of identifying these so-called under-performers and ensure that they get a clear message of the need for improvement. Douglas explained that the board agreed that immediate action was needed to assess Tunney’s current role and the reasons behind his poor performance. Douglas continued that he will monitor and provide feedback to Tunney regarding his performance on the PIP, but warned that he was authorised to take additional disciplinary action, if warranted. Pettengill pressed Douglas to specify the potential consequences for Jack Tunney if performance standards are not met, asking if it was possible Tunney could lose the job he's had for the last eleven years. A smirk appeared on the face of the smarmy Douglas, who said that he was sure it wouldn't come to that.
Owen Hart and Savio Vega defeated Tennessee Lee Promotions (Jeff Jarrett and Rockabilly) when S. Vega defeated Rockabilly by disqualification in 0:13:29. Rating: *** 1/2 [Tennessee Lee interfered against Owen Hart.] [Tennessee Lee interfered against Savio Vega.]
More manager interference here as a disqualification was called when Tennessee Lee tripped up Savio Vega when the Carribbean Sensation went for his spinning heel kick on Rockabilly.
The brawl continued after the bell. Owen dropped Jarrett with an enzuigiri while Vega clotheslined Rockabilly over the top rope. Roadie tried to get involved but ran straight into a double backdrop from Vega and Owen, out onto his stablemates at ringside. Vega then dragged Tennessee Lee into the ring, who was now at the mercy of Vega and Owen. Before Lee could get his comeuppance, Barry Windham hit the ring and blindsided Vega and Owen. Jarrett, Rockabilly and Roadie all returned to the ring and joined Windham in dishing out a gang beating to Vega and Owen. Sean Waltman ran in but was soon beaten down as well. Mr Perfect was enjoying all of this at ringside.
Big Boss Man and Tatanka battled to a double disqualification in 0:06:34. Rating: **
Tatanka was getting frustrated by his inability to take the Big Boss Man down and after being on the receiving end of a hard uppercut, the Native American grabbed a steel chair from ringside. Boss Man was waiting for him with the nightstick though and the two men duelled until Boss Man disarmed Tatanka. The referee threw the match out due to the use of foreign objects.
Tatanka thought better of going up against a nightstick-wielding Big Boss Man and made his retreat. However, as he backed up down the aisle, Zan Panzer sneaked up and threw him back in the ring! Tatanka then took the Boss Man Slam and was left laying as the show drew to a close.
Circuit information: TITAN was ok after that sickening collision with the steel ring post. He and manager Harvey Wippleman are furious with Lex Luger, blaming him for TITAN's close encounter with the ring frame. The Total Package will now turn his attention to regaining the Intercontinental Title when he battles Ludvig Borga next week.
Have Mr Perfect and Barry Windham found the new recruits they have been looking for in Tennessee Lee Promotions?
The main event for In Your House on September 24th is now officially confirmed as Bret Hart will defend the WWF Championship against the British Bulldog in a Submission Match. Both champion and challenger are set to compete this coming week on Monday Night RAW. Also this week, "The Good Doctor" Waylon Mercy returns from a recent injury against PJ Walker and WWF Tag Team Champions The Thrillseekers will be in action. Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW September 4th, 1995 Canton Civic Center, Canton, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. As Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan previewed tonight’s show, Diesel was shown making his way through the crowd with a clipboard. Big Daddy Cool appeared to be intimidating fans into signing whatever piece of paper he had with him. British Bulldog made Bob Holly submit to the Bulldog Bite in 0:05:14. Rating: ** 1/4 Lord Alfred Hayes joined the announcers for this match and on commentary he strongly put over the new submission hold the British Bulldog has been developing, a variation of the scissored armbar which he calls the Bulldog Bite. Hayes explained that the hold places pressure on both shoulder joints and limits an opponent's capacity to breathe. Bulldog twisted Bob Holly's body into an awkward contortion as he made him submit with the Bulldog Bite. Hayes claimed that when Bret Hart is trapped in the hold there will be no escape and Hart will have no option but to submit. Todd Pettengill caught up with Diesel amongst the fans and asked him what he was up to. Diesel revealed that he had a petition which he was "persuading" fans to sign in order to get Shawn Michaels reinstated as soon as possible. Big Daddy Cool was confident that Tunney would have no option but to overturn his decision once he sees how many signatures there are on the petition. Diesel then menacingly asked Pettengill if he would like to sign. Fearing for his safety, Pettengill quickly agreed. Backstage, Crush dared Scott Steiner to stop hiding behind the Heavenly Bodies and face him one-on-one next week on Monday Night RAW. The Thrillseekers (Chris Jericho and Lance Storm) defeated Tennessee Lee Promotions (Rockabilly and The Roadie) when Jericho pinned Rockabilly after a backslide in 0:09:19. Rating: ** 3/4 [Tennessee Lee interfered against Chris Jericho.] [Tennessee Lee interfered against Lance Storm.] Vince McMahon hyped the Tag Team Title Match at In Your House where the Thrillseekers will defend against The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage, The Ultimate Maniacs. McMahon then threw it to The Hollywood Blonds, who weren't happy that the Maniacs had jumped to the front of the queue and were getting a title shot. Brian Pillman said that Savage and Warrior were passable in the Eighties, but he and Steve Austin are the tag team of the Nineties. Austin said they would prove it and challenged the Ultimate Maniacs to a match! Before the next match PJ Walker kissed his girlfriend Francine, who was at ringside to cheer on her man. Waylon Mercy defeated PJ Walker by countout in 0:05:33. Rating: * PJ Walker was in control of this one as he took Waylon Mercy down with a series of dropkicks and a springboard cross body. Walker signalled that he was about to finish off The Good Doctor with the Underdog, when Bob Backlund appeared in the crowd. Backlund, with that now-familiar maniacal expression on his face, was stalking the terrified Francine! Walker leapt to his girlfriend's aid and chased Backlund through the arena. In this week’s In Your House report, Todd Pettengill revealed that Public Enemy have demanded to be put in a cage with the Supermodels after Rick Martel and Raphael bailed from their match last week. Pettengill exclusively revealed that this Cage Match has been signed for In Your House on September 24th! Public Enemy then cut a promo in which they vowed to mess up the Supermodels inside the cage and leave them so badly disfigured they'll never model again. Bret Hart made The Birdman submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:08:38. Rating: ** 1/4 Bret Hart made short work of the Birdman tonight, catching him with an inverted atomic drop as he came off the top rope and then transitioning straight into the Sharpshooter. The British Bulldog was all over Bret Hart before the Hitman barely had a chance to release the Sharpshooter. Bulldog hammered away with forearms to the back of the neck and then threw the WWF Champion hard into the corner. The Hitman actually went through the turnbuckles and his shoulder collided with the ring post. Smelling blood, The Bulldog went in for the kill. He attacked the injured shoulder with elbowsmashes and then gave Bret a taste of the Bulldog Bite! Referees and road agents were quickly on hand to drag Bulldog away. Bobby Heenan called Diesel over so that The Brain could sign the petition while Vince McMahon closed the show by hyping a special interview with The Undertaker on next week’s show. Circuit information: We got our first look at the Bulldog Bite tonight as the British Bulldog used his devastating new submission hold to full effect. Bob Holly was the first victim as he succumbed to the manoeuvre in our opening contest, then later the Bulldog attacked Bret Hart and slapped on the hold. Bulldog is counting on his Bulldog Bite being more effective that the Sharpshooter as he looks to capture the WWF Title in the Submission Match at In Your House. Diesel is collecting signatures for his petition to get Shawn Michaels reinstated. We can’t be certain that this will fly with WWF President Jack Tunney, but with Dean Douglas breathing down Tunney’s neck it is difficult to rule out anything. With just under three weeks to go until our next pay-per-view offering, In Your House on September 24th, the card is starting to take shape: WWF Championship Submission Match Bret “Hitman” Hart vs British Bulldog WWF Intercontinental Championship Sean Waltman challenges the champion WWF Tag Team Championship The Thrillseekers vs The Ultimate Maniacs Steel Cage Match Public Enemy vs The Supermodels The Intercontinental Title is on the line in our feature match this weekend on Superstars as Ludvig Borga defends against Lex Luger in a rematch from SummerSlam. Borga won the belt from Luger last month after interference from Gary Hart and Kimona, but that will not be a factor this time around as managers have been barred from ringside! Also on the show, Sabu and Hunter Hearst Helmsley will be in action, plus the Big Boss Man teams up with Zan Panzer to battle the Arabian Butchers! Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars September 9th, 1995 Canton Civic Center, Canton, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler. Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler previewed tonight’s show, on which Zan Panzer will team up with the Big Boss Man to battle the Arabian Butchers. But first, in a rematch from SummerSlam, Lex Luger will aim to recapture the Intercontinental Championship from Ludvig Borga. Their match last month featured copious amounts of interference from Gary Hart and Kimona but tonight that will not be a factor as managers are barred from ringside! Match with Managers Banned From Ringside: Lex Luger defeated Ludvig Borga by disqualification in 0:10:39. Rating: ** 3/4 (Ludvig Borga retained the WWF Intercontinental Title.) [TITAN interfered against Lex Luger.] Lex Luger was all over Ludvig Borga and it looked like it was a certainty that the Total Package would regain the Intercontinental Title. Luger took Borga down with a series of clotheslines and then found the mark with his diving forearm, but Borga avoided the pin by getting a foot on the bottom rope in desperation! Luger signalled that he was going to finish it with the Rebel Rack. As Luger hoisted Borga into position, TITAN wandered down to the ring, closely followed by Harvey Wippleman. While Luger racked Borga, TITAN stepped over the top rope and clutched The Total Package around the throat! Luger lost his grip on Borga and was then rocked by a giant choke slam! Lex Luger was at the mercy of the monstrous TITAN and he was hit with another body-shattering choke slam. TITAN, who was being booed out of the building, stood on Luger's prone body as he left the ring. Sabu pinned Repo Man with the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:07:03. Rating: ** 1/4 Tennessee Lee Promotions were scheduled for an interview but they did not come out alone as Mr Perfect and Barry Windham accompanied them to the ring. Tennessee Lee informed Sean Mooney that his group was joining forces with Perfect and Windham to rid the company of the so-called new generation. When asked why, Jeff Jarrett grabbed the mic and said it made him sick to be passed over for title shots in favour of little punks who haven't paid their dues. Jarrett's case in point was Sean Waltman and his forthcoming Intercontinental Title Match at In Your House. It appears that Double J is bitter that Waltman eliminated him from the Golden Opportunity Battle Royal two weeks ago. That brought out Sean Waltman, who had a challenge for Jeff Jarrett, much to the disgust of the group in the ring. Waltman stated that if Double J doesn't think he has earned this title shot, then he would be happy to beat Jarrett and show Jarrett first hand that he deserves it. Double J challenged Waltman to name the time and place and he will be there to slap Waltman around. Waltman suggested next week on Superstars and Jarrett accepted, but not before making a crack that Waltman should check if he is allowed to stay up that late. Jarrett and his cronies had a good laugh about that, while Waltman looked more determined than we’ve seen him in some time. Hunter Hearst Helmsley pinned Jeff Hardy with the Pedigree in 0:03:42. Rating: * 3/4 Scott Steiner cut a promo in which he answered Crush’s challenge for Monday Night RAW, saying that he would meet the big Hawaiian in the centre of the ring. Steiner warned Crush to prepared to be embarrassed yet again. Zan Panzer was set to team up with the Big Boss Man to take on the Arabian Butchers in the final bout of this week’s show. Panzer came out ready to face the Butchers, but when Boss Man’s music played nobody appeared at the entrance way. Howard Finkel introduced Boss Man again, but there was still no sign of the former corrections officer. Zan Panzer was in trouble, having to go it alone against the Arabian Butchers. Handicap-Match: The Arabian Butchers (Manuel and Victor) defeated Zan Panzer when Manuel pinned Panzer after the Arabian Meat Cleaver in 0:04:40. Rating: * 1/4 [Kimona interfered against Zan Panzer.] Predictably, Zan Panzer was squashed. The Arabian Butchers enjoyed themselves as they dragged out this mugging. During the match, the camera cut to backstage, where a battered and bloodied Big Boss Man was handcuffed to a pipe in his dressing room! The Arabian Butchers wanted to continue beating on poor Zan Panzer after the decision, but Tatanka ran down to the ring. Tatanka had a nightstick concealed in the back of his trunks, which he brandished to ward off the Butchers. The Native American then helped the woozy Panzer to his feet as the announcers questioned the actions of Tatanka. It was all a ruse however as Tatanka drove the nightstick into Panzer’s gut and then drilled him with the End of the Trail. Circuit information: With the threat of outside interference from Ludvig Borga’s entourage, Gary Hart and Kimona, neutralised by the match stipulations, it looked like nothing was going to stop Lex Luger regaining the Intercontinental Title he lost at SummerSlam. That was until TITAN stepped in and drilled the Total Package with a couple of gargantuan choke slams. During last week’s confrontation with Lex Luger, TITAN was knocked out cold after he was sent into the ringpost but tonight it was Harvey Wippleman’s giant who was the last man standing. The Big Boss Man was the victim of a serious assault backstage, forcing him to miss his scheduled tag team bout. It is quite evident that Tatanka was the perpetrator. The Native American feels that he has been humiliated in recent weeks by both the Boss Man and Zan Panzer and tonight he got his revenge. Boss Man suffered bruised ribs and several lacerations in the beating and is expected to be sidelined for several weeks. The Arabian Butchers had a lighter tune up than they expected tonight because they will have a sterner test on Monday Night RAW, where Manuel and Victor are set to face The Ultimate Maniacs! That is just part of what is a stacked edition of Monday Night RAW this week. It’s the WWF Fall Season Premiere, and both WWF Champion Bret Hart and The Undertaker are scheduled for interview time. In addition, Taz will go up against Bam Bam Bigelow and Crush battles Scott Steiner! Till then, so long everybody!

Monday Night RAW – WWF Fall Season Premiere September 11th, 1995 Canton Civic Center, Canton, OH Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Bobby "The Brain" Heenan. A new RAW intro debuted this week in which several WWF superstars, including Bret Hart, British Bulldog, The Undertaker, Sabu, Diesel, Ultimate Warrior, Lex Luger, Ludvig Borga, Owen Hart, Sean Waltman and many others were shown battling on the roof of Titan Tower. Shawn Michaels was shown dancing as police attempted to stop the madness. Vince McMahon and Bobby Heenan were at ringside to open the show. This was the first time that Vince referred to “a new season of Raw” like it’s just any other television show. Crush then made his way out for the opening bout, a singles contest with Scott Steiner. Crush was amped up for this match and was whipping the crowd into a frenzy. The big Hawaiian couldn’t wait to get his hands on Steiner after suffering a series of recent attacks from the former Intercontinental Champion and his running buddies in Fytch Wrestling Enterprises, The Heavenly Bodies. However, when Scott Steiner entered the arena he was not dressed to compete. He was also carrying a small table down to the ring with him. Tammy Fytch took the mic, looked at Crush in his ring gear and laughed at Crush for assuming there would be a wrestling match tonight. Fytch claimed that Crush can't just simply demand a match with a former champion. As Crush has never held a title in the WWF, he must show he is worthy of wrestling a bona fide superstar like Scott Steiner! Steiner said that if Crush can beat him in an arm wrestling match, then he’ll grant him a singles match. But Steiner claimed Crush couldn’t beat him because not only is Crush mentally weak – which is why he always loses the big matches – but he is also weak physically too, and Steiner said he was about to prove it. Crush seemed amused by all of this and accepted the challenge without a word, taking his position at the table. Arm Wrestling Match: Crush defeated Scott Steiner by disqualification in an Arm Wrestling Match. Time of Match: 1 Minutes and 48 Seconds. Crush waited patiently as Scott Steiner flexed and backed off, taking his time. When they finally got started, Steiner looked like he had him as he strained with all his might but Crush fought back and soon they were locked in the middle. Steiner had the advantage again, but Crush started to scream only to be pushed further down. With deafening “Crush” chants filling the arena, the big Hawaiian began to push back up and soon had the advantage himself! Crush was inches from slamming Steiner’s hand down when Tammy Fytch made her presence felt, spraying hairspray in Crush’s eyes! Steiner then rammed the blinded Hawaiian’s head into the table. Crush struggled to get to his feet, but Scott Steiner just unloaded on him with a chair. The Thrillseekers tried to help their friend Crush, but Steiner used the arm wrestling table to block the Tag Team Champions from entering the ring. The Heavenly Bodies then jumped Chris Jericho and Lance Storm from behind and hurled them into the ring steps. Tammy Fytch and her men are left standing tall again. WWF Champion Bret Hart came out for an in-ring interview with Vince McMahon. Hart acknowledged last week's attack by the British Bulldog and said he was looking forward to the Submission Match at In Your House, where he planned to humiliate the Bulldog and make him squeal. The Hitman said he might he forget about excellently executing the Bulldog and instead choose to batter him into submission! Bret Hart left the ring and started slapping hands with his fans along the aisle, where he crossed paths with Taz who was on the way to the ring for the next match. Taz ripped his towel off his head, pointed at the WWF Championship belt over Hart's shoulder and intimated that he wants it. The two men started shoving each other and had to be separated by a slew of officials. Taz defeated Bam Bam Bigelow when Bam Bam Bigelow passed out in the Tazmission in 0:10:31. Rating: *** Gary Hart joined the commentary team for this one and Vince McMahon commended him for humanising Taz. Hart said it was clear to him that Taz was not a wildman from the jungles of Tazmania, he was simply a miserable bad ass from the streets of Red Hook, New York who puts in more hours in the gym than anybody and is willing to go through anybody that gets in his way. As The One Man Crime Spree dissected Bam Bam Bigelow in impressive fashion with a T-Bone Tazplex and a head and arm Tazplex, Gary Hart claimed that we are looking at the next WWF Champion and demanded to know when company officials would have the guts to grant Taz his shot at the title which he earned fair and square. Taz finished Bigelow off with the Tazmission after what had been a very convincing display from the Human Suplex Machine.
In this week's In Your House report, Todd Pettengill confirmed that Sean Waltman will officially challenge Ludvig Borga for the Intercontinental Title on the show. Waltman then cut a promo in which he acknowledged that he had come within an eyelash of winning the title at the beginning of the year and said that this time he will get the job done at In Your House. Waltman added that he is more than deserving of a title shot and vowed once again to prove it to Jeff Jarrett this weekend on Superstars. Ultimate Maniacs (The Ultimate Warrior and Randy Savage) defeated The Arabian Butchers (Manuel and Victor) when Warrior pinned Victor with the Big Splash in 0:03:08. Rating: ** 1/4 The Hollywood Blonds came out to do some scouting but barely had a chance to settle into their director chairs as The Ultimate Maniacs finished off the Arabian Butchers in double quick time. The Ultimate Warrior slammed one of the Butchers, Randy Savage dropped the big elbow and Warrior followed up with a splash for the pin. The Blonds will face the Maniacs next week on RAW. Vince McMahon closed the show by conducting an in-ring interview with The Undertaker. McMahon recounted the recent disclosures in the story of The Undertaker’s troubled past: The Phenom's brother Kane is confirmed as being very much alive and it was Kane who divulged all the details of The Undertaker's secret to Ted DiBiase. McMahon asked if The Undertaker now owes his former manager Paul Bearer an apology for accusing Bearer of betraying him. The Undertaker said he regrets turning his back on Bearer as that was clearly DiBiase’s plan all along. The Deadman said he would explain everything to Bearer should he choose to meet him in the ring. Vince tried to ask another question, but The Undertaker’s mood quickly changed to one of anger as he snatched the microphone away. The Undertaker said that he’s been doing far too much talking as of late, and he needs to go back to what he does best - taking souls! The Deadman said that Sabu must pay for his crimes, and he will rest in peace! ‘Taker was then interrupted by Ted DiBiase, who entered the arena on a motorised wheelchair. The Million Dollar Man said that since The Undertaker is speaking of paying for your crimes, what about the crime of trying to murder your own brother?? DiBiase claimed that he was with Kane last night, and Kane is ready to come for The Undertaker! DiBiase repeated this over and over again until The Undertaker had heard enough and went after him. DiBiase spun in his chair and disappeared to the back when suddenly the entire building turned red, provoking an unreadable expression from ‘Taker. Suddenly, the fans all at once stood up and looked towards the giant red RAW sign where Sabu was perched! Sabu pointed to the ceiling, before leaping off the sign onto The Undertaker below! That garnered a massive reaction from the crowd. All hell broke loose as Sabu and The Undertaker battled in the aisle as the show drew to a close! Circuit information: When it became apparent that Ted DiBiase knew every sordid detail of The Undertaker's past, The Phenom blamed the only man he had ever told the story to: Paul Bearer. But that was before DiBiase revealed that The Undertaker's brother Kane is still alive, and it was Kane who told the Million Dollar Man everything. DiBiase is clearly still in contact with Kane and warned tonight that The Undertaker's brother is coming for him. But before that, The Undertaker must deal with Sabu. It was the Human Highlight Reel who cost The Undertaker his match with Ludvig Borga at In Your House in July, for reasons that are yet to be made clear. How can you explain the motives of a homicidal, suicidal, genocidal maniac like Sabu?? We can exclusively reveal that The Undertaker and Sabu are now set to battle later this month at In Your House, in what has the potential to be one of the wildest brawls ever contested in the WWF.
Crush was relishing the chance to face Scott Steiner tonight and exact some revenge for recent verbal and physical attacks from the former Intercontinental Champion. The Hawaiian had expected to face Steiner in a one-on-one encounter, but was instead goaded into an arm-wrestling match as Steiner and Tammy Fytch absurdly demanded that Crush must prove himself worthy of competing against Steiner in a wrestling bout. Crush was ambushed last time he competed in such a contest and you can bet this would have crossed his mind, but he was left with little choice but to accept. Sure enough, history repeated itself as Fytch’s plan came to fruition: Tammy blinded Crush with hairspray as the big Hawaiian was on the verge of victory and Steiner then battered the visually-impaired Crush with a chair. Gary Hart has Taz ready for his upcoming WWF Championship Match. The Human Suplex Machine, who took Bam Bam Bigelow apart in impressive fashion tonight, is growing ever more impatient as he awaits confirmation of when his title shot will take place. Taz will not be fobbed off much longer.
Our next pay-per-view is just around the corner! In Your House will be live on September 24th, 1995, from the Saginaw Civic Center in Saginaw, Michigan, and this is how the card is looking: WWF Championship Submission Match Bret “Hitman” Hart vs British Bulldog WWF Intercontinental Championship Ludvig Borga vs Sean Waltman WWF Tag Team Championship The Thrillseekers vs The Ultimate Maniacs The Undertaker vs Sabu
Steel Cage Match Public Enemy vs The Supermodels
Jeff Jarrett squares off with Sean Waltman in our feature match on Superstars and Waltman will be looking to build some momentum before he challenges Ludvig Borga for the Intercontinental Title at In Your House. Lots more faces will also be in action this weekend, including Bob Backlund, Diesel, Owen Hart and The Heavenly Bodies. Till then, so long everybody!

WWF Superstars September 16th, 1995 Civic Center, Erie, PA Your commentators are Vince McMahon and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
This week's edition of WWF Superstars opened with Jeff Jarrett on his way to the ring, ready to lock up with the number one contender to the Intercontinental Title, "Lightning" Sean Waltman. Jarrett has had a real problem since Waltman threw him out of the Golden Opportunity battle royal some weeks back. Sean Waltman pinned Jeff Jarrett after a crucifix in 0:12:26. Rating: ** 3/4 Jeff Jarrett was already in a bad mood because Sean Waltman had been granted an Intercontinental Title shot instead of him and he took his aggression out on Waltman, bumping him around like a pinball. Jarrett used a slingshot suplex, but Waltman came back with a leg lariat and then went for a somersault senton off the top. However, Double J moved at the last second and Waltman crashed and burned. Jarrett looked for a running DDT to finish, but Waltman countered with a crucifix out of nowhere to score the victory! A dysphoric Jeff Jarrett jumped Sean Waltman after the decision and he was soon joined in the attack by The Roadie and by Barry Windham, along with the injured Mr Perfect who led the cheers from ringside. Owen Hart and Savio Vega hit the ring soon after and helped Waltman clean house. Before the next match, Diesel offered to allow Burt Centeno to leave unscathed if he only signed his petition. Centeno thought this was a good deal and scribbled his name down, but as soon as Big Daddy Cool had the signature...
Diesel pinned Burt Centeno with the Jackknife in 0:00:08. Rating: * ...Diesel booted him in the gut and hit the Jackknife. Match over before the ink had time to dry.
Bob Backlund made Brian Faulkner submit to the Cross-Face Chicken Wing in 0:04:43. Rating: ** During the match, Bob Backlund cut an insert promo in which he revealed that ever since he had put PJ Walker’s girlfriend Francine in the Chicken Wing, all he can think about is getting close to her again. Backlund was almost drooling as he talked about Francine’s perfectly toned body, her satiny smooth skin and the scent of her silken hair. The creepy Backlund confessed that he can’t keep his hands off her!
The Supermodels had some pre-recorded comments for Public Enemy, who they will meet in a Steel Cage Match at In Your House. Rick Martel said that last time one of Public Enemy were in a cage it didn’t turn out too well, referencing the Body Count Match last May. Martel said that if you want to lock him and Raphael up in a cage like animals, then you’re going to get to see how big of an animal they can be. Owen Hart pinned Rick Stockhauser with the Rocket Launcher in 0:04:25. Rating: * 3/4 Tatanka, still in possession of the Big Boss Man’s nightstick, cut a promo in which he talked about the embarrassment and humiliation he has suffered at the hands of Boss Man and Zan Panzer in recent weeks. Tatanka drew comparisons between the pain and abuse that he claimed Boss Man inflicted on convicts in jail with the abuse his ancestors have endured down the years. Tatanka vowed to show Zan Panzer the Native American way during their singles bout next week on Superstars.
The Heavenly Bodies (Jimmy Del Ray and Tom Prichard) defeated AC Connor and Tony Williams when J. Del Ray pinned Connor after a moonsault in 0:04:25. Rating: ** 1/4 During the bout, Tammy Fytch cut an insert promo in which she became the latest person to voice her disgust at The Ultimate Maniacs receiving a Tag Team Title shot at In Your House. Fytch accused The Thrillseekers of challenging the Maniacs to a match in order to avoid putting the titles on the line against her Heavenly Bodies. Fytch claimed that Chris Jericho and Lance Storm know that the Bodies have their number, and sooner or later the Bodies will have their titles as well.
Circuit information: It's the go-home show for In Your House this week on Monday Night RAW, and as ever it is packed! Just six days before he aims to defeat his brother-in-law Bret Hart in a Submission Match for the WWF Championship, the British Bulldog will face Headshrinker Sionne! The Ultimate Maniacs will challenge for the Tag Team Titles at In Your House, but before that they will battle former title holders The Hollywood Blonds! And just signed, a six man tag team match which will see the New Generation trio of Sean Waltman, Owen Hart and Savio Vega square off with Intercontinental Champion Ludvig Borga, Great Muta and Taz from Black Friday Management!! Till then, so long everybody!
