PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL 1.1.1 THE LEGEND BEGINS...
The fans packed into the small, intimate venue for the debut of PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL! No one knew quite what to expect when it came to showtime...but the lights turned off in the arena!
When they came on, the masked D-DAY was standing in the ring with "The Franchise" Romero Contreras!
D-Day made it look perhaps far too competitive, before Contreras put him away with the Kool-Aid Krunch!
Romero Contreras pinned D-Day with the Kool-Aid Krunch in 0:10:06. Rating: ** 3/4
After the match, Romero played with the audience members while the referee scraped D-Day out of the ring after his demolition at the hands of the 300+ pounder.
The opener out of the way, the fans cheered for the announcement of ring announcer Kitty the Hellcat!
Next up, the fans booed as "Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch and "Dirty" Dick Slater hit the ring!
They rejoiced at the arrival of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor!
All four men were here to fight and it showed...but in the end, the popular tandem of Duggan and Taylor trounced The Hard Liners!
Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor defeated The Hard Liners (Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater) when Duggan pinned Slater with the Old Glory in 0:18:03. Rating: * 1/2
William Regal made his way to the ring, with his intimidating students Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver following behind! Regal jawed the whole time, utterly annoying the audience while his men looked on in silence. He ran them down, calling them the backwoods hillbillies that he'd come to expect from hellholes like this! He said he should be in the gauntlet match tonight for the PWI Heavyweight title, and it is a bloody travesty that he's not! Then he issued an open challenge to anyone in the back...and got Perry Saturn!
William Regal pinned Perry Saturn with the Knee Trembler in 0:08:28. Rating: ** 1/4
Regal's thugs didn't get involved at all, which was somewhat surprising! William Regal looked very vicious and impressive as he dominated Saturn.
Regal said that failure was not an option, and that he had picked the two finest young specimens he could find to mold into the next dominant force in tag team wrestling...Skip Sheffield and Michael Tarver! He said they would prove their dominance tonight, and they would do it without his help!
Kitty introduced their opponents..."The One Man Rock Band" Heath Slater and the former Val Venis, Sean Morley! The youngster and the veteran hit the ring hard and took it to Sheffield and Tarver, but their momentum got cut off when Slater literally knocked himself out on a dive to the floor!
Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield defeated Sean Morley and Heath Slater when Sheffield defeated H. Slater by countout in 0:03:53. Rating: * 1/4
The referees came and helped Slater to the back while Regal and his men stayed in the ring, picking at the crowd! Kitty then sent them to the back and announced an intermission!
Fans thrilled as they got the chance to meet Jim Duggan, Terry Taylor, Sean Morley, Perry Saturn, Romero Contreras and The Greatest American Bolo and Sensei Bolo up close and in person!
Time for the semi main event..."Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer hit the ring to take on The Greatest American Bolo!
The much smaller Bolo wasn't afraid to go to the eyes, nose or low blows in order to stay ahead of Sawyer, but the Mad Dog lived up to his name with his brutal assaults on Bolo! Bolo, when frustrated, drew forth his mighty kendo stick and BLASTED Sawyer, making him see stars...and not just the ones painted on his kendo stick! This, however, led to the match being thrown out.
Buzz Sawyer defeated The Greatest American Bolo by disqualification in 0:04:42. Rating: * 1/2
Finally...it was time for the main event...an eight man gauntlet for the PWI Heavyweight Title!
First up...to a huge pop from the crowd...The Man Called STING!
His opponent...one half of America's Most Wanted..."Wildcat" Chris Harris!
Harris and Sting were all over one another for two minutes, in and out of the ring! Neither man could put the other away...when Zack Ryder hit the ring! He and Harris pretty much just double teamed Sting, but the face painted warrior, in green and black this night, fought off both men!
"Dr. Death" Steve Williams hit the ring, and he and Harris went right at it, giving Sting the opportunity to work over Ryder! Sting got the Scorpion Deathlock on Ryder, but Harris cheap shotted Doc and nailed Sting!
Ted DiBiase hit the ring next, joining his old ally Dr. Death in the dismantling of Chris Harris!
At the 8 minute mark, "All Action" Anthony Jackson hit the ring and speared Sting out of his boots! He sent DiBiase to the floor and he and Ryder worked Sting over...Sting fought out of a Zack Attack, but turned into a huge boot! Jackson hit the Vanilla Drop and shockingly eliminated Sting!
The three heels ganged up on Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase...until the Junk Yard Dog hit the ring!!
JYD was all over Jackson, then Ryder, then Harris! He would not be denied as he hammered each of them into the mat! James Storm slid into the ring, giving the heels a theoretical advantage, and helping Harris fight Doc and DiBiase while Jackson and Ryder ganged up on JYD!
JYD wound up ramming their heads together, then hitting the THUMP Powerslam on Ryder, putting him away! Jackson recovered and charged him...and got a THUMP for HIS troubles!!
The Junk Yard Dog was on fire!
Jame Storm smashed a beer bottle over the head of JYD, who stumbled to the floor and left it a two on two in the ring! Chris Harris took advantage of that and hit the Catatonic on DiBiase, eliminating him!
AMW tried to set Dr. Death up for the Death Sentence...but JYD recovered and shoved Harris off the ropes! Dr. Death showed James Storm that grappling with him is the LAST thing you want to do, pummeling him! Harris managed to fight off JYD and charged Doc, who took him down with a Fujiwara and made him tap!!
Dr. Death and JYD had Storm surrounded...and Doc would hit him while JYD would headbutt him! Doc eventually hit a huge German Suplex for the pin!
With Storm out of the way, Doc and The Dog nodded at each other and collided like bull elephants! Neither man wanted to budge at first, but it was JYD who got his version of the powerslam, putting Dr. Death down and scoring the win, becoming the first ever PWI Heavyweight Champion!
8-Man Battle Royal: Junk Yard Dog won an 8-man Royal Rumble: x Sting and C. Harris started out. x Zack Ryder entered at 0:02:00 x Steve Williams entered at 0:04:00 x Ted DiBiase entered at 0:06:00 x Anthony Jackson entered at 0:08:00 x Jackson defeated Sting after the Vanilla Drop in 0:09:20 x Junk Yard Dog entered at 0:10:00 x James Storm entered at 0:12:00 x JYD defeated Z. Harris after a Fujiwara armbar in 0:24:37 x S. Williams defeated J. Storm after a German suplex in 0:26:24 x JYD defeated S. Williams after the Thump Powerslam in 0:27:53 Rating: **** (Junk Yard Dog won the PWI Heavyweight Title.)
The Junk Yard Dog invited fans into the ring to celebrate his hard fought and well earned victory as Dr. Death shook his hand and Sting rejoined him in the ring to celebrate!

Well, this is definitely not what I expected, but it's still good. Looks like you are going for a mix of old and new wrestlers. Are some of these created? Or are they part of your Oklahoma based fed? I know the Bolo, but a few other wrestlers are new to me. I'm surprised at the low rating for Duggan/Taylor against the Hard Liners. You might want to change the workrate of all four if you are using the '80s or even early '90s version of them. I'm liking the Regal, Tarver, Sheffield group. Hopefully they are the first contenders to JYD's Title. Hopefully Bolo doesn't get a favortism push. And I'm kind of surprised you didn't go with Williams winning the Title, but that's alright as JYD is also good as a face character that needs the Title to make him strong while Sting can rely just on his character. Good stuff. Looking forward to the next card.

No one is created. When I debuted as Bolo, I was Jackson's bodyguard. Romero is my mentor, one of my best friends and the first guy I ever wrestled. D-Day was just a one off used to get him over in the opener. D-Day was a gimmick used by one of our guys whenever we needed a jobber...=)
But yeah, I'm pretty much using just whoever strikes my fancy.
If you go to Oklafan.com you can get basic bios on any Oklahoma guys I use.
And I have NEVER known a booker to push himself. *cough*
For the Heavyweight Title match, I gave TNM three possible winners...Sting, Jackson and JYD. So there we go...=)
Oh, and in case you didn't read my NXT recaps...I LOVED the Regal-Sheffield pairing, especially after Sheffield started acting like a crazy heel. But I guarantee that my Regal will be WAY more active in the ring than the WWE Regal.

Well, I was OKAY with any of those guys winning it. I'm kinda glad JYD did it...he's a guy I've NEVER used in TNM before, so this whole thing is going to be interesting.
Barring TNM screwing with me, I have the main event for the 13th card planned already.

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL The Legend Begins... 2.1.1
Once again, the lights come up in the intimate venue, and two wrestlers are already in the ring...Zack Ryder and Romero Contreras!
Ryder went at Romero hard, which is what you have to do when facing a man well over 300 lbs! Romero fought him off and mocked him for being a dork! Ryder tried for the Zack Attack, but got flung off! Romero eventually hit a Kool-Aid Krunch through a table...then a SECOND one without the table!
Romero Contreras pinned Zack Ryder with the Kool-Aid Krunch in 0:12:55. Rating: ** 1/4
Romero said something about these matches needing to get shorter as he left the ring.
Next up...General Skandar Akbar and Friday led KAMALA to the ring! Akbar said that Kamala feared nothing and no one...and he would show how devastating he is tonight, against Perry Saturn!
Perry Saturn defeated Kamala by disqualification in 0:07:09. Rating: -1/2* [General Skandar Akbar interfered against Perry Saturn.]
Saturn held his own, and when he started to get the upper hand, Akbar got himself involved! Saturn was not happy!
Up next...a four corners match for the vacant PWI Tag Team Titles!
Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield hit the ring first, followed by America's Most Wanted! Next came Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor, followed by Ted DiBiase and Steve Williams!
This thing was hot and heavy! DiBiase, at one point, was begging Chris Harris for mercy, but it was all a ruse as he NAILED Harris with his loaded glove!
Doc and DiBiase controlled things from there, with DiBiase putting out both Duggan and Sheffield with his Figure Four!
Four Corners Match for the vacant PWI Tag Team Titles: Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris), Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield and Terry Taylor and Jim Duggan: x DiBiase beat C. Harris via his special move in 0:18:09 x DiBiase beat Duggan via the Figure Four Leglock in 0:35:15 x DiBiase beat Sheffield via the Figure Four Leglock in 0:41:15 Rating: *** (Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase won the PWI Tag Team Titles.)
Doc and DiBiase celebrated their victory to the cheers of the exhausted crowd!
"Captain Redneck" Dick Murdoch hit the ring for the next match, a non-title bout against PWI Champion Junk Yard Dog!
Just as the two began to lock up, William Regal hit the ring! Seconds into the bout, he pulled JYD out of the ring and rammed him into the ringpost! The match was thrown out immediately!
Junk Yard Dog defeated Dick Murdoch by disqualification in 0:00:16. Rating: -1/4* [William Regal interfered against Junk Yard Dog.]
Regal continued to hammer on JYD as Murdoch left the ring! He threw JYD in and set up the Knee Trembler...but JYD side stepped! He started to hit Regal, but Regal bailed out! JYD yelled at him to get back in the ring, but Regal got the heck out of dodge!
JYD stayed at ringside for intermission, joined by Romero, Bolo, Sting, Duggan, Taylor and the new Tag Team Champions! Kids were eager to get their pictures taken with JYD, Doc and DiBiase.
"Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer hit the ring for a rematch from last week's bout with The Greatest American Bolo! This one got violent again, with Bolo continuing to use cheap shots to get ahead of Sawyer...but Sawyer is practically an insane beast, and he choked Bolo out before pinning him!
Buzz Sawyer pinned The Greatest American Bolo after a chokehold in 0:07:28. Rating: 1/2*
"All-Action" Anthony Jackson hit the ring! Jackson immediately took the mic from Kitty...and began launching into a medley of Sting and The Police's greatest hits! Jackson said he didn't know why he had to get in the ring with a rock singer anyway! When Kitty corrected him that it was Sting, the wrestler, Jackson looked befuddled. So Kitty described Sting, with the colored face paint and so on..."OH...so you mean the Ultimate Warrior! Why you tellin' me I gotta face Sting tonight, then?" To avoid any further confusion, Kitty brought Sting to the ring!
Sting and Jackson squared off, with Sting dominating after the humiliating loss in the gauntlet last week! Jackson, however, is a dirty, dirty player and he caught Sting with a low blow and a handful of tights, rolling him up tight for the pin!!
Anthony Jackson pinned Sting after a low blow in 0:06:37. Rating: * 3/4
The crowd booed wildly as Jackson celebrated his dirty victory!
As the show wound down, Kitty announced that next week...Perry Saturn and Kamala would do battle again...and this time, ANYTHING GOES!

Is the 13th card something special? Yeah, JYD is totally different than most people you write so it should be interesting. I am booking in 13 card cycles. It's hard to explain. I have all the contracts layered in 13 card cycles as well (some are 52, some are 39, some are 26 and some are just 13). Card 4 (SPOILER) is the first card to have two title matches on it. This will be a rarity. However, all the booking should (in theory) build to Card 13. From that point, I'll probably lose some guys (due to contracts) and have to rebuild it all to a head again at card 26, where I'll probably lose more guys and so on.

Umm...Jackson doesn't sound very threatening. I hope you show off his character enough where I take him seriously.
Glad to see JYD get involved with Regal.
So far, so good, but right now I hope some feuds gain some hatred and wrestlers gain some character. Jackson has some potential, but right now he seems more of a mid card wrestler.

Sir.
You have missed out on having never seen Jackson in person. The guy is a walking heat machine. He once incited a riot at a show on an Indian reservation...(with the help of his faithful Manservant).
But have some patience...it's the second show in the fed...like the man in the stall said to the man waiting: "Give me time, baby!"

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL The Legend Begins... 3.1.1
As the lights come up on the venue...James Storm is in the ring, microphone in one hand, beer bottle in the other! He tells Kitty that he and Chris Harris should be the tag team champions, and not screwing around with fat-@$$ no-name curtain jerkers! Then he shoved the mic violently at Kitty, surprising (and hurting) the petite ring announcer!
This brought Romero to the ring in a flash! Storm charged...but Romero ducked and hit the Kool-Aid Krunch!! Kitty rang the bell as the ref seemed taken aback...but he counted and that was it!
Romero Contreras pinned James Storm with the Kool-Aid Krunch in 0:00:12. Rating: *
Romero kicked Storm out of the ring and kicked the beer bottle under the bottom rope at him! Then he moved to check on Kitty while Storm staggered to the back. Storm gave Romero a look...then thought better of it.
Next up was Storm's partner, "Wildcat" Chris Harris! He took on the masked patriot known as The Greatest American Bolo! Bolo has heart, no doubt. But Harris was able to absorb his attacks and even fended off his finisher, The American Revolution! Harris tried to unmask Bolo, but referee Mike 2 pulled him off. Harris settled for hitting the Catatonic for the pin.
Chris Harris pinned The Greatest American Bolo with the Catatonic in 0:08:51. Rating: *
Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater hit the ring, looking to be up to no good, as they faced off with Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor! Taylor and Duggan aren't afraid to fight, but The Hard Liners were happy to give them a fight! This war went back and forth, but Slater spiked Taylor on his head and put him away!
The Hard Liners (Dick Murdoch and Dick Slater) defeated Terry Taylor and Jim Duggan when Slater pinned Taylor with the Piledriver in 0:15:05. Rating: * 1/2
William Regal came to the ring with Skip Sheffield, and told him to absolutely destroy that "mongrel", The Junk Yard Dog! JYD hit the ring, belt around his waist! Regal quickly backed off, and JYD told him to get onto the back! Regal reluctantly complied!
Sheffield is a big, big man and he went right at Junk Yard Dog! JYD took control pretty quickly and hit the Thump Powerslam...but Michael Tarver hit the ring! Tarver began beating JYD down, and Sheffield joined in!
Junk Yard Dog defeated Skip Sheffield by disqualification in 0:03:36. Rating: -3/4* [Michael Tarver interfered against Junk Yard Dog.]
As the two worked JYD over...Sting hit the ring! He blocked a punch from Tarver and nailed him, before backhanding Sheffield! The two thugs hit the floor and Sting helped JYD up! Sting got on the stick and told Sheffield and Tarver to get back in the ring...and do this tag team style!
Early on in the match, William Regal stepped out of the back and watched on with approval as Tarver and Sheffield beat up on Sting and JYD! Sheffield kept trying for the Over The Shoulder Boulder Holder on JYD, but the champ had it scouted! The fight fell to the floor, where Sheffield got a cheap shot in and headed to the ring...and Regal BLASTED JYD with the Knee Trembler! Junk Yard Dog was out cold! Sting could do nothing to aid his partner as he got counted out!
Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield defeated Junk Yard Dog and Sting when Sheffield defeated JYD by countout in 0:13:49. Rating: 1/4* [William Regal interfered against Junk Yard Dog.]
Regal grabbed the stick and told Junk Yard Dog that "Next week, you disgusting mongrel...I'm going to absolutely destroy you and take that title for myself. As for Ted DiBiase and Steve Williams...shine up the tag team titles, because Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield will be relieving you those as well."
At intermission, Romero, The Bolos, Heath Slater and Perry Saturn came out. Anthony Jackson came out as well, but snapped off when some little kid came up to him wanting an autograph. He slapped the Greatest American Bolo on the back and asked him how he's been, but Bolo ignored him and walked away.
Zack Ryder was out for the next match...facing the "One Man Rock Band" Heath Slater! Ryder mocked Slater for being a "lame-o", but Slater slapped the taste out of his mouth! Slater was all over Ryder, but the crowd didn't seem to care. Finally, Romero Contreras came out of the back! He agreed with the old man in the front row that the match pretty much sucked, openly mocking Ryder. Slater seemed annoyed by him being out there, but it was Ryder that slid to the floor and got in his face...getting slapped upside the jaw!
Ultimately, though, Ryder got the upper hand and hit the Zack Attack, putting Slater away!
Zack Ryder pinned Heath Slater with the Zack Attack in 0:07:30. Rating: ** 1/2 [Romero Contreras interfered against Zack Ryder.]
Ryder called Romero into the ring...and got caught with the Kool-Aid Krunch! Slater got up and asked him what he was even doing out there...and got the Krunch himself! Romero popped off a "WHOO!" to the crowd, getting a loud response, before heading to the back! Despite interference from Romero Contreras, Zack Ryder prevails over Heath Slater!
Main event time...General Skandar Akbar and Friday led Kamala to the ring! Perry Saturn was out next...ANYTHING GOES!
Saturn hit Kamala with everything, including a keyboard, but the Ugandan Giant fired back with chops and kicks! Saturn popped him with a big thrust kick, but Kamala had one of his own! Friday handed Kamala the ring bell, and he smashed Saturn with it, setting up Air Africa! Kamala crushed Saturn for the pin!
No-Time-Limit-No-Countout-No-DQ-Falls-Count-Anywhere Match: Kamala pinned Perry Saturn with the Air Africa in 0:05:28. Rating: * 1/4
Kitty reminded everyone that next week, William Regal challenges The Junk Yard Dog, and Michael Tarver & Skip Sheffield challenge Ted DiBiase & Steve Williams!

PRO WRESTLING IMMORTAL The Legend Begins... 4.1.1
When the lights came on...Romero Contreras was in the ring with Zack Ryder and Heath Slater, all in separate corners! The three men circled each other, before Romero hammered down both men! Ryder took control, and told Slater to help him out, which he did! The two smaller guys beat down the larger one, but Ryder took advantage when Slater's back was turned and rolled him up! Slater took offense to this and the fight was on between the two of them! Slater hit a high backdrop...sending Ryder right into the waiting arms for a Romero powerbomb!
Later on in the bout, Ryder hit the Zack Attack on Slater, then jumped Romero as he tried to enter the ring...but THAT Zack Attack attempt got turned into the Kool-Aid Krunch for the win!
Triangle Match: Romero Contreras defeated Zack Ryder and Heath Slater when Contreras pinned Z. Ryder with the Kool-Aid Krunch in 0:14:51. Rating: **** 1/4
"All-Action" Anthony Jackson hit the ring! He made it a point to shake his booty for the front row, then took the mic from Kitty!
He said he came to PWI tonight to fight, and so he was issuing a challenge. That challenge was to anyone who wasn't a woman, a midget, wearing a mask, The Junk Yard Dog, Mexican, wearing mascara, Texan, and wasn't a fat redneck sitting in the front row. So long as they didn't fit that criteria, then the challenge was open to any man whatsoever in the locker room!
Sean Morley came out to a nice reaction! Jackson looked at him quizzically and asked if he'd seen Morley in some movie somewhere, then shrugged it off and called him into the ring!
Morley dominated Jackson with power, sending the larger but less muscular man to the mat. Jackson hit a cheap shot and worked Morley over, but Morley fired back with a big clothesline and an elbow smash, then slammed Jackson and went up top for the Big Splash! He hit it...but Jackson kicked out! Morley was in disbelief and shoved the referee...then threw him to the mat!
Anthony Jackson defeated Sean Morley by disqualification in 0:09:22. Rating: ** 3/4
Morley threw a fit in the ring as Jackson rolled away, celebrating his tainted victory!
Chris Harris and James Storm were out next, against Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor!
AMW hit Duggan and Taylor hard and fast, and Harris crushed Taylor with a flying legdrop not much more than a minute into the match! AMW crushed Duggan and Taylot in short order!
America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) defeated Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor when C. Harris pinned Taylor after a flying legdrop in 0:01:56. Rating: * 1/4
William Regal came as far as the entryway with Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield, then headed to the back to allow them to stand on their own against Ted DiBiase and Steve Williams!
The powerful Sheffield arguably met his match against Dr. Death, as the two powerhouses collided! DiBiase took the fight to Michael Tarver, but Tarver and Sheffield loved double teaming and brutalizing the champs at every opportunity.
Dr. Death leveled Tarver with a harsh lariat and put him down, scoring the win and retaining the belts!
Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase defeated Michael Tarver and Skip Sheffield when S. Williams pinned Tarver after a short lariat in 0:10:28. Rating: ** 3/4 (Steve Williams and Ted DiBiase retained the PWI Tag Team Titles.)
The champs hung around at intermission with Sting, Romero Contreras and the Junk Yard Dog, taking pictures and signing autographs!
"Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer, chains in hand, hit the ring next to face Sting!
Sawyer attacked early but Sting used his speed and agility to fight back, as well as a general size advantage. The Hard Liners hit the ring area, watching on carefully! Sting had Sawyer staggered and ran into the ropes...only to have Murdoch pull the top rope down! Sting hit the floor hard!
Sting defeated Buzz Sawyer by disqualification in 0:04:56. Rating: *** 1/4 [Dick Murdoch interfered against Sting.]
The Hard Liners and Buzz Sawyer jumped Sting! This was clearly an act of collusion! Murdoch ripped the padding away and set Sting up for the Gourdbuster...when Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor hit the ring! Duggan managed to yank Sting off of Murdoch's shoulders while Taylor traded blows with Slater! Sawyer jumped Taylor, but Duggan and Sting were all over him and Murdoch! All six men brawled to the back!
Kitty announced that next week, Sting would team with Jim Duggan and Terry Taylor to take on the trio of Dick Murdoch, Dick Slater and "Mad Dog" Buzz Sawyer! Plus, The Greatest American Bolo would return, this time as a referee, for a match between "All-Action" Anthony Jackson and Sean Morley!
William Regal came to the ring all business...and The Junk Yard Dog seemed similarly focused!
Junk Yard Dog came to brawl, and Regal accommodated him...but Regal also came to wrestle! He took JYD down and tried to wear him down with submission holds! JYD rallied back with punches, kicks, bites and headbutts! The fight spilled to the floor, where Regal took advantage of the ring post!
JYD knew to dodge the Knee Trembler, but he fell prey to it at around the 12 minute mark, leading to a very scary near fall! Regal got desperate and tried to pin him repeatedly after that, but JYD kept kicking out with more and more momentum! When time came due, both men were on their feet, brawling away!
William Regal and Junk Yard Dog battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: * 1/2 (Junk Yard Dog retained the PWI Heavyweight Title.)
Regal, who retained a title more than once by running it to a time limit draw, was terribly frustrated to be on the other end of it! For his part, Junk Yard Dog didn't seem happy either! He was less happy when Michael Tarver slid in the ring, wrapping a chain around his fist, and knocked JYD senseless!
Card rating: ** 1/4

Dude...I'm assuming an Oklahoma audience...they got bored of any match after ten minutes.
It's legitimately funny...because all these indy workers will go 20 minutes and have this "great" match...then can't figure out why the crowd was dead for the last 15.

You know, I was going to do a WCW 1996 fed, and that exact thought was why I didn't. I didn't even know the Rock'n'Roll Express were in WCW when the nWo formed. Quoteth the Wikipedia: "In 1996, they returned to World Championship Wrestling (WCW), but used sparingly on the pre-taped B-Shows, WCW Saturday Night and WCW Pro, as preliminary wrestlers." Easy enough to miss. I think its interesting we have several retro WCW circuits ('89, '92, '97, and almost '96) but only one WWF ('94). [Plus 1 current WWE, but only for RAW.) I guess TNMers mostly hate the post-2000 WWE product? Surprised has nobody rebooked the InVasion in a TNM by now...

I've never been a WWE/F fan. The only time I've watched it with any regularity was after WCW died and it was the only thing on TV.
That said, the current WWE product is 985 billion times better than TNA.

I was a huge WWF fan, but really have never got that in to modern WWE. But watching TNA and the WWE, I agree with Tommy that WWE is 1000x better. As for why I took on a retro WCW circuit, it was where I really picked up watching wrestling every week. And I loved '92-'94, but I thought it would be odd trying a WWF '93 fed when there was already a great one out there. BTW, Tommy, stop writing cards so fast. It's hard to reply that quickly.

3.1.1: - I'm liking this Contreras guy. A guy that wants matches to be shorter but can go the distance. Interesting. - Poor Bolo. Is it wrong that Bolo sounds like a brand of dog food? - I like the fact that Regal is going after JYD. The thought of a match between the two, not so much. - Kamala!!! Good decision to add him to the roster. You can't go wrong with Air Kamala. I'm still trying to get into the fed, but you are doing a good job so far. I'm thinking the first supercard will help me with that.

- Okay, Anthony Jackson's promo finally made me a fan. I was cracking up, especially the fact he threw Junkyard Dog in there out of nowhere. Great stuff. - Are you booking this circuit? Cause that was a weird way to job out Taylor and Duggan. - I've never seen a circuit take the house show report style. It's interesting. - Sting teaming with Duggan and Taylor against the Hardliners and Sawyer is money. - I like the reference to Regal's TV Title reign. Anyways, every card my interest grows so good job on that. Looking forward to the next card.
