Hi guys. I think I'm going to start a WWF/WCW universe set in 1995. I'll post both circuits within this same thread.
Each circuit will feature short weekly cards (Monday Night RAW for WWF and WCW Saturday Night for WCW). I'm going to copy Tommy's 13-card formats. It's a really great idea and I want to be the first to copy it! Anyway, that will change the PPV set up. Each circuit will have four PPVs, one at the end of each set:
WWF: Set 1: WrestleMania Set 2: SummerSlam Set 3: Survivor Series Set 4: Royal Rumble
WCW: Set 1: SuperBrawl Set 2: The Great American Bash Set 3: Halloween Havoc Set 4: Starrcade
Note: Don't worry that Fall Brawl does not appear. War Games matches may happen anyway!
The starting rosters will be somewhat close to what they were at the beginning of 1995. The WWF circuit will begin with the events following the 1995 Royal Rumble, so we will assume that Shawn Michaels will go on to WrestleMania to challenge for the WWF Title. WCW will launch following the events of Starrcade '94.
Hope we enjoy! I'll try to get the first RAW up sometime soon.
Thanks for reading!

Cool! Looking forward to this. Also, you nailed what I would say were the four major WCW pay per views. WarGames was started at The Great American Bash so moving it there would make sense.

Wow, this looks really interesting. I like the idea of having of having the talent limitations for two different circuits.
The only thing I can say is to be careful. Doing two circuits can be hard as it can get rather time consuming and make you not enjoy it as much. I hope you can keep the interest, however, and make things work.
I'll be reading. One thing, will this be booked or unbooked? Or a little bit of both?

Yay! I love being copied! =)
You know, back in the day, War Games were a staple of The Great American Bash, anyway.
Coop, I used to do universes with four feds...THAT was cool. I had one in each region, and set the starting roster based off of a certain style, and ran it from there.

I think I recall you talking about that at one point, Tommy, but I can't imagine the write-ups were very good when you had to worry about writing up four cards to get past one week of action.

They were real basic. But I managed to get more than a year into one of those...and that's 52 cards per circuit.
Incidentally, that's where I learned my lesson about signing everyone for 52 cards...=) End of the year and you lose a ton of guys...=P

We're uncooked, uncut, and uncensored!
Welcome everyone to Monday Night RAW!
Tonight Bam Bam Bigelow will be in action! We'll also hear from the WWF Champion, "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel! And in our main event, the Undertaker will square off against King Kong Bundy! Let's get down to the ring for our first match!
Earthquake v. Adam Bomb
These two behemoths went toe to toe for over thirty minutes! This was a back a forth battle the whole time through. Adam Bomb went for the Adam Smasher on several occasions, but he just couldn't get the big man up for it. In the end, Earthquake became frustrated with the official and got himself disqualified.
Adam Bomb defeated Earthquake by disqualification in 0:34:00. Rating: -3/4*
After the match, Earthquake set him up in the corner, but Adam caught him with a big boot! Earthquake was staggered and Adam hit him with a couple of hard shots and a big clothesline that sent him over the top! Earthquake decided to head to the back, but this issue may not be finished just yet!
Up next was an interview with WWF Champion Diesel! Diesel came out to the cheers of this non-capacity crowd. He talked about his match at the Royal Rumble with Bret Hart, and how it was ruined by a bunch of thugs. He went on to say that Bret Hart could have a rematch for the title any time he wanted it!
Just then Shawn Michaels came out! He told Diesel not to worry about matches that he's already had! Instead he should worry about the match he's going to have at WrestleMania! Diesel said why wait until WrestleMania! Just then, out of nowhere, Bob Backlund hit the ring! He came from behind and applied to the Cross Face Chicken Wing while Shawn Michaels put the boots to Diesel!
Suddenly Bret Hart came running from the back! He hit Michaels with a couple of shots, an inverted atomic drop, and a clothesline over the top! He went over and stomped Backlund on the head, who rolled out of the ring. Michaels and Backlund headed back up the ramp, while Hart checked on Big Daddy Cool. Diesel collected himself enough to say that if that's how they want to play, then fine! Next week Diesel and Bret will meet Michaels and Backlund in a tag team match! The crowd explodes when they hear this!
The crowd takes a few moments to digest what we've seen and get ready for the next match.
The Allied Powers v. Irwin R. Schyster & Tatanka
This was another match that happened to go long. IRS & Tatanka used their experience working together to cut the ring in half and wear down Lex Luger. Tatanka hit his version of the Samoan Drop and went for a cover, but Luger kicked out! Tatanka want for his move again, but Luger was able to block it, whip him into the ropes and hit a big powerslam! Luger crawled over to his corner, to a fresh British Bulldog who cleaned house with clothesline after clothesline! Luger took care of Tatanka on the outside while the Bulldog hit the Running Powerslam on the inside to secure the win!
Allied Powers (Davey Boy Smith and Lex Luger) defeated Irwin R. Schyster and Tatanka when D.B. Smith pinned IRS with the Running Powerslam in 0:24:34. Rating: 1/4*
Order the encore presentation of the Royal Rumble all this week only on pay-per-view!
Back to the action!
Bam Bam Bigelow v. Tim Horner
While this was the shortest match of the night, it still ran almost seven minutes. That was unfortunate for Tim Horner, because he was on the receiving end of the offense almost the whole time. Just shy of the 7-minute mark, Bigelow hit a big power bomb, covered him, and got the pin.
Bam Bam Bigelow pinned Tim Horner after a power bomb in 0:06:55. Rating: **
Don't forget to tune in next week, when WWF Champion Diesel will team with Bret "The Hitman" Hart against Shawn Michaels and Bob Backlund! In addition, Razor Ramon and Yokozuna will both be in action, and Adam Bomb will meet Earthquake in a rematch! Now let's go down for the main event!
The Undertaker v. King Kong Bundy
After a spectacular entrance from The Undertaker, Bundy looked a little intimidated! It showed because the Undertaker was on the offensive the entire time. What little offense Bundy could muster had little or no effect on the Undertaker. Undertaker walked the rope to come down hard across Bundy's back and got the big man up for a chokeslam! Undertaker gave the sign for the Tombstone!
But out of nowhere someone hit the ring! Who... it's Sid! He's putting the boots to the Undertaker! He gets him up and choke slams him down with just one hand! He pulls him up again and drops him down with the Power Bomb!
The Undertaker defeated King Kong Bundy by disqualification in 0:06:32. Rating: -1/2* [Sid interfered against The Undertaker.]
Monday Night RAW goes off the air with Sid standing over the Undertaker, laughing maniacally!
See you next week! Card rating: 1/2*

Tim Horner was actually not in WWF, at least to my knowledge, but this is part of where the rosters don't quite match up. Some of the guys who wouldn't sign with WWF went to WCW, and vise versa, but mostly low-end guys.
To answer an earlier question, we are totally booked here.
Thanks for reading!

It must be 6:05 PM EST on a Saturday because it's time for WCW Saturday Night!
On tonight's telecast, "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan will be in action, as will Jean-Paul Lesveque, and in our TV main event, WCW Television Champion Johnny B. Badd defends his title against Jimmy Del Rey! Let's get down to the ring for our opening match, and it's a tag team bout!
The Nasty Boys v. Dick Slater & Bunkhouse Buck
Great showing by the Nasty Boys, but not much from Bunkhouse and "Dirty" Dick. They made short work of the opposition, when Knobbs put Slater out with the sleeperhold just a few short moments into the match!
The Nasty Boys (Brian Knobbs and Jerry Sags) defeated Dick Slater and Bunkhouse Buck when Knobbs defeated Slater when Slater passed out in a sleeperhold in 0:03:11. Rating: *
After the match the Nasty Boys came to the stage for a brief interview. They say that what they did out there was just a sample of the Nasty Sensation was coming the way of every tag team in WCW! And that goes double for the WCW Tag Team Champions - Harlem Heat! The Nasties want another shot at the titles!
We check in with WCW Motorsports to see how the #11 WCW car is doing on the track.
Jean-Paul Lesveque v. Dave Sullivan
Actually some decent back and forth in this match. Sullivan took over early, but it would not last. After several moments, Jean-Paul took over for good and finished him off with the Pedigree to get the pin.
Jean-Paul Lesveque pinned Dave Sullivan with the Pedigree in 0:08:05. Rating: -1/4*
After the match, Lesveque came to the stage for his interview time. He said that the setback he suffered at Starrcade didn't matter: 1995 would be the year of Jean-Paul Lesveque. It starts tonight and it continues all the way to the WCW Title!
And now for the WCW Road Report! Catch WCW action when it comes to a town near you!
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan v. Barry Darsow
A rather long match between two rather unskilled wrestlers. Both had their time on offense for periods of the match. Late in the match, Duggan really started to feel it. As Darsow felt himself in danger, he countered a big clothesline by pulling the official right in the way of it! As Duggan checked on the official, Darsow hit a backbreaker and went for the cover, but the official came to and disqualified Barry Darsow!
Jim Duggan defeated Barry Darsow by disqualification in 0:16:38. Rating: -**** 3/4
After the match Duggan grabbed his trusty 2 x 4 and cleaned house! Darsow got out of there and in a hurry!
As we prepare for our TV main event, we have big news for next week's telecast! In our main event, "Double A" Arn Anderson will go one on one against Sting! And get this: the winner will challenge Hulk Hogan for the WCW Title at SuperBrawl V! Wow! On top of that, it sounds like we'll also be getting a return match between Jim Duggan and Barry Darsow! Huge news! Let's head back to the ring for tonight's main event!
WCW World Television Title Match Johnny B. Badd v. Jimmy Del Rey
Pretty decent match between these two, and neither man could put the other away. As the time limit approached, neither was able to gain a decisive advantage. At the 10-minute mark, the bell rang and we had a time-limit draw! But the official allowed an extension! Del Rey took advantage, working over the leg of Badd (as he had done for much of the match). Around the 14-minute mark, Del Rey went for the Figure-Four, but Badd countered it with a small package to score the pin! Excellent match!
Johnny B. Badd pinned Jimmy Del Ray after a small package in 0:14:36. Rating: ** 1/4 (Johnny B. Badd retained the WCW World Television Title.)
Thanks for tuning in everybody! We'll see you next week for Sting v. Anderson and the winner will be the #1 Contender!
Card rating: -1/2*

I'm liking the fact that you are booked, always enjoy those a little bit more. Of course, if you booked Earthquake and Adam Bomb to go over 30 minutes you might be a tad bit insane. I agree that Michaels/Backlund is an odd pairing, but I don't mind it that much. I'm looking forward to seeing if you go the same route as the real WWF in to WrestleMania or if you change it up a bit. I don't mind all the disqualifications in the first card just because that would have been normal for the WWF. Good to see Sid, but he was Michaels' bodyguard at this point, right? Michaels might be in a tad bit of trouble pissing off Hart, Diesel, and the Undertaker.

Ah, man, I love the team of Buck-Slater. Hope they don't become the jobbers of your circuit.
Kind of surprised Badd and Del Ray only pulled off 2 stars for that amount of time. They were both pretty good in their day.
I take it Sting goes over Anderson so Sting-Hogan at this point should be pretty interesting.

It must be 6:05 PM EST on a Saturday because it's time for WCW Saturday Night! - Nasty Boys vs Slater and Buck would be painful. By that point, Slater wasn't great, and I don't know if the Nasty Boys ever were. - LEVESQUE! - He should go back to Terra Ryzing. - So I completely missed the "-" on the Duggan-Darsow match rating and thought your TNM was broken. That said, calling them "unskilled" is really unfair. Duggan was an amazing brawler back in the day, and Darsow was at least an accomplished tag wrestler...but at that point, yeah, their best days were shot. - Whoo! Johnny B. Badd wins! I used to be such a Badd mark. Never liked him as Mero, though.

I don't book too many spots. I usually just pick a winner and have TNM do the rest. Sometimes that results in really long matches.
Michaels and Backlund was an odd pairing. Part of the rationale was that they were two of the guys who came in and ruined the Diesel/Hart match at the Royal Rumble, so that's how this segment came about.
As far as this circuit goes, Sid as Michaels' bodyguard never happened. In real life, I think that happened sometime in February of 1995, so I am leaving that out.
I actually agree on Duggan, and especially Darsow. I really liked Darsow as Demolition Smash, and even as Repo Man. Never cared for his WCW stuff, though. As for Duggan, yeah, he was a good brawler, and played the face part really well. I knew TNM wouldn't going to care for this match though!
I REALLY liked Johnny B. Badd on his very first WCW run. Not as much by this time. I liked him when he first started in WWF I think, but most of his run was pretty blah IMO.

Dig around on YouTube...lots of old Mid-South stuff is up there. None of his matches were great wrestling matches, but the dude had a TON of energy as a brawler.

Uncooked, Uncut, Uncensored. Monday Night RAAAWWWWW!
In tonight's main event, Bret "Hitman" Hart will team with WWF Champion "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel to take on Mr. Bob Backlund and Shawn Michaels! In addition, Yokozuna and "The Bad Guy" Razor Ramon will both be in singles action, but let's get down to the ring for a return match from last week!
Adam Bomb v. Earthquake
Another brutal match between these two big men, although much shorter than the one last week. Adam Bomb hit 'Quake with some big power moves, including a huge clothesline that sent him to the outside. As Adam followed him out, Earthquake grabbed the ring bell and clocked him with it! The official quickly called for the bell, ruling this match another disqualification in favor of Adam Bomb!
Adam Bomb defeated Earthquake by disqualification in 0:11:18. Rating: -* 1/4
After the match, Earthquake tossed Adam back inside and followed him in, bringing the bell with him! As Bomb got back to his feet, 'Quake went after him with the bell, but Bomb blocked it! He kicked Earthquake in the midsection, grabbed the bell, and took a swing at the Earthquake, but 'Quake got out of there just in time!
Up next was a special interview with Sid! Why did Sid attack the Undertaker at the end of last week's RAW? Sid said that he is the Master and Ruler of the World, and he planned on being the first to defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania! He was going to do what Jimmy Snuka, Jake the Snake, and Giant Gonzales could not: Defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania! Just then the lights went out! When they came back on, The Undertaker was standing in the ring behind Sid! He spun him around and went after him with some thrust chops! Sid staggered back and was clotheslined over the top and to the outside! Sid made his way back up the aisle, but this situation between he and the Undertaker is far from over!
Now back to the ring for more action!
Aldo Montoya v. Yokozuna
This was another match that ran awfully long - much longer than it should have! After about thirty minutes of action, Big Yoko planted Aldo in the center of the ring with a powerslam and got the pin!
Yokozuna pinned Aldo Montoya after a powerslam in 0:29:27. Rating: * 1/2
He wasn't finished though! Yokozuna grabbed Aldo by the hand and dragged him over to the corner where he hit a huge Banzai Drop before heading to the back. Trainers came pouring into the ring from the back to help Aldo. Luckily, he was not stretchered out this time.
Coming soon to WWF Home Video: The 1995 Royal Rumble! Relive the action as WWF Champion Diesel battled Bret "Hitman" Hart for the title, see Shawn Michaels enter the Royal Rumble match as #1 and outlast 29 other men, and much more! Available this Tuesday!
Razor Ramon v. Timothy Well
Razor was looking sharp (no pun intended) in this match. He dominated Well from the opening bell, hitting his patented fallaway slam and belly-to-back superplex. About 16 minutes in, Razor gave the sign for the Razor's Edge, but Well instinctively rolled to the outside, threw his hands up, and retreated to the back! He's had enough!
Razor Ramon defeated Timothy Well by countout in 0:16:18. Rating: * 1/4 (Tom Prichard no-showed.)
A couple matches have been signed for the next week! First, Adam Bomb will take on Earthquake for the third straight week, but this time it will be no countout and no disqualification. In addition, the WWF Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett will defend the title against The 1-2-3 Kid! For now let's get down to ringside for our main event match!
Diesel & Bret Hart v. Bob Backlund & Shawn Michaels
A great match that thrilled fans for over twenty minutes! Michaels and Backlund were able to isolate Bret Hart for much of the match, using quick tags and keep him out of his corner. Late in the match, they went for a double-team move, but Hart countered with a double clothesline! He was able to get to his corner to tag in Diesel, who cleaned house. After a few moments for Hart to recover, all four men were in there.
Diesel and HBK took it to the outside, while Hart hit all of his trademark moves against Backlund on the inside. Hart hit the Russian Legsweep and gave Backlund the thumbs down as he applied the Sharpshooter! Meanwhile on the outside, Michaels was able to push Diesel face first into the steel post! While the official checked on Diesel, Michaels entered the ring and hit Hart with the Sweet Chin Music! He helped Backlund back up, who applied the Crossface Chicken Wing! The referee saw this, re-entered the ring, and checked Bret's arm.. he had passed out!
Bob Backlund and Shawn Michaels defeated Bret Hart and Diesel when Backlund defeated B. Hart when B. Hart passed out in the Crossface Chickenwing in 0:21:02. Rating: *** 3/4
Michaels' was victorious over Diesel! Will the same thing happen at WrestleMania 11?
Card rating: ** 1/2

- Earthquake has always been a favorite of mine, glad he wasn't jobbed out to Bomb here. - Playing up the undefeated streak early on into the run? - Eesh....Montoya and Yokozuna for 30 minutes? MY EYES! THEY HURT SO BADLY! I actually like Yoko, but Montoya needs to go away. - Well, protecting Timothy Well with a countout is an interesting idea. - Ugh! Not Backlund over Hart again! I remember Survivor Series 1994 where I was about to pull my hair out. - Well, despite the booking, TNM sure doesn't seem to like you very much with how long some of your matches are going and the non-finishes... I'll keep on reading and looking forward to see more.

Time for another edition of WCW Saturday Night!
On tonight's show, we have a huge main event! Sting will take on "Double A" Arn Anderson, and the winning will face Hulk Hogan for the WCW Heavyweight Title at SuperBrawl 5! In addition to that, The WCW United States Champion, Vader, will be in action in a non-title match, and Johnny B. Badd will defend the WCW World Television Title! But let's get started with a return match from last week!
"Hacksaw" Jim Duggan v. Barry Darsow
Hacksaw came out full of fire, really taking it to Darsow! About ten minutes in, he floored him with a big clothesline and finished him off with Old Glory to secure the pin.
Jim Duggan pinned Barry Darsow with the Old Glory in 0:11:50. Rating: -***
Duggan celebrated after the match by waving the American Flag for all to see.
After the match, Duggan came to the stage for some quick interview time. He said that he loves being in WCW and he loves coming out fighting for his country in front of the WCW Fans! Hoooo!
Let's catch up with the WCW Road Report to see if WCW action is coming to a town near you!
Brad Armstrong v. Vader
The U.S. Champion was in a foul mood, as he often his. He battered Armstrong for a few moments, before nearly taking his head off with a running clothesline!
Vader pinned Brad Armstrong after a running clothesline in 0:05:35. Rating: ** 1/4
After the match, Vader hit Armstrong with a Choke Slam for good measure.
Vader comes up for some interview time of his own. He says he fears no man and feels no pain. He says no one in WCW can take his U.S. Title from him and it's only a matter of time before he comes after Hogan and the WCW World Title!
WCW World Television Title Match Johnny B. Badd v. Bruiser Mastino
Badd had to use his quickness to stay ahead of the curve in this match. Badd hit a flying sunset flip off the top, but couldn't get him over. Mastino tried to drop his weight on him, but Badd got out of the way! After several minutes, Badd hit the Kiss That Don't Miss. Mastino went down like 450 pounds of bricks, and Badd got the pin to retain the title!
Johnny B. Badd pinned Bruiser Mastino with the Kiss That Don't Miss in 0:12:24. Rating: -1/4* (Johnny B. Badd retained the WCW World Television Title.)
Badd comes up to the stage after his match. Before he gets to say much, Dick Murdoch comes out. Murdoch says he's seen Badd defend his title against fat slobs and pretty boys, but wants to know if he's willing to defend it in a fight! Badd says anytime Murdoch wants a shot, he's got it, and it looks like we have a title match for next week!
Let's head back to the ring for our main event!
#1 Contender's Match Sting v. Arn Anderson
Anderson was a little slow to get things started, with good reason! Sting really wanted to pick up the pace and it wasn't long until he was able to! After just a couple of minutes, Sting was able to whip Anderson into the corner and hit the Stinger Splash! Anderson stumbled to the outside, and Sting went out after him. Sting hit a few chops and a dropkick and rolled Anderson back inside.
Out of nowhere, Big Bubba Rogers! He hits the Bubba Slam on the outside and the ref didn't see it! The official turns around, continues his count, and reaches ten! No way! Anderson wins it!
Arn Anderson defeated Sting by countout in 0:04:34. Rating: 1/2*
After the match, Big Bubba stands over Sting, staring down at him, but Arn Anderson is going to SuperBrawl!
Card rating: 1/2*

- Aww, negative stars.
- I hope we get Vader-Hogan in your circuit, but I'll trust you to book it better than what happened in real life.
- Bruiser Mastino? Never heard of him. Guess I'll have to Wiki him.
- Don't remember Murdoch being in WCW at this point. Should be interesting if he can pull out a good match at his age.
- WHOA! Definitely didn't expect that. Big Bubba wasn't part of the Dungeon of Doom at this time, was he?
- Anderson-Hogan at Superbrawl. Definitely not what I was expecting, but this could work out. I can't picture Anderson as the World Champ, but I always thought he should have gotten a singles title over the TV Title at some point in his career.

I was out of the wrestling circle in early 1995, so I missed the Hogan/Vader booking. From what I've read, they had a strap match where Hogan won by dragging Flair around the ring? Hopefully I can do better than that.
Bruiser Mastino = Mantaur. Kane also played the Bruiser Mastino character at one time, but this one is Mantaur.
I think Murdoch was in the 1995 Royal Rumble. He didn't want to sign with my WWF circuit, so I figured I'd give him one last run in WCW.
I THINK this was before the Dungeon of Doom started up, but again, my 1995 WCW timeline is a little mixed up.

Uncooked, Uncut, Uncensored. Monday Night RAAAWWWWW! - Oh lord this Adam Bomb-Earthquake feud needs to die. - Yeah, the Undertaker streak doesn't have as much weight at this point in history...=) - Dude, you need to adjust your average match times in TNM...=) - Jarrett vs 1-2-3 Kid could be the best match Raw has had so far. - Well, Michaels was only KINDA victorious over Diesel.

Time for another edition of WCW Saturday Night! - Duggan and Darsow STRIVE for NEGATIVE FIVE. - How come Vader and Armstrong couldn't have gotten five of Duggan and Darsow's minutes? - Murdoch vs Badd! That's a good contrast. - That damned Bubba! So Arn vs Hogan?
