HWL Unbreakable PPV August 21, 2011 Fargo Dome Fargo, North Dakota Attendance: 16,650 (90%) Fireworks explode from the stage set-up, inside the Fargodome, as 16,000+ fans scream and cheer. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone the campus of North Dakota State Universtiry, for the second annual Unbreakable pay-per-view. They go over the list of seven matches scheduled for tonight, including the 10-Man Battle Royal that will kick things off… HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw makes his way to the ring, as the smoke clears from the fireworks display, and enters the ring as the crowd rumbles with anticipation. Bradshaw says that, as promised, tonight will begin with a 10-Man Battle Royal. The winner of the Battle Royal will then face AJ STYLES, in a Ladder Match, for the vacant HWL Heavyweight Title. Bradshaw leaves the ring, joining Josh and Scott at the broadcast booth as Anna Walker begins the introductions… Rami Sebei won a 10-Man Battle Royal: X Colt Cabana threw out Brutus Magnus after a fist to the midsection in 0:01:42. X Matt Morgan threw out Evan Bourne in 0:07:54. X CM Punk threw out Eddie Edwards after a chokehold in 0:09:17. X Mr. Anderson threw out Cabana in 0:11:09. X Tommy Dreamer threw out Morgan after a roundhouse right in 0:13:16. X Kaz threw out Anderson after a kick to the midsection in 0:13:33. X Punk threw out Kaz in 0:16:33. X Sebei threw out Punk in 0:20:08. X Sebei threw out Dreamer after a hiptoss in 0:22:37. Rating: *** ¾The crowd was shocked to see former TNA Superstar, BRUTUS MAGNUS appear in tonight’s Battle Royal; but they exploded when CM PUNK - making his second return to the HWL - was announced as a participant. Magnus didn’t last very long as he was incapacitated by a punch from Colt Cabana, that he couldn’t stop himself from being thrown over the top rope. The second elimination happened after RIC FLAIR interfered, on behalf of Matt Morgan, pulling down the top rope and eliminating Evan Bourne. Bourne was irate as he was accompanied by an official backstage. Punk was fortunate enough to get two eliminations tonight, throwing Edwards of the top rope - and Kaz a few minutes late. But, for most of the evening, Punk was focused on Rami Sebei, as they did battle throughout the entirety of the match. Sebei’s two eliminations just happened to be the biggest of the night, as he eliminated Punk and “The Hardcore Legend” to earn the right to face AJ STYLES in tonight’s main event, for the Heavyweight Title. After the match, Sebei celebrated in the center of the ring - exhausted from the 20+ minute battle. Josh and Scott congratulated Sebei on the win, and mentioned that tonight is only his second event as a member of the HWL roster; and he has the opportunity to become the Heavyweight Champion. --Backstage, STEVE CORINO Is seen making his way towards the stage, when he is confronted by RIC FLAIR, MR. ANDERSON, and MATT MORGAN. The three men start making jokes about Corino getting slapped by Natalya on Monday night, and about revoking his “Man Card” if he loses to her tonight. Corino pushes through the three of them, and continues walking, as Flair, Anderson and Morgan keep laughing at his expense. -- Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Women’s Champion, DAFFNEY, and asks about her Dog Collar Match against Brie Bella. Daffney says that she is the most hardcore women’s athlete to ever step into an HWL ring. Daffney says that she has dominated her opponents ever since winning the title, and that she gets enjoyment out of finding different ways to torment the “pretty girls” of the HWL. Tonight, she says, that Brie Bella will have no place to hide from Daffney’s wrath. [Submission Match]: Natalya made Steve Corino submit to the Sharpshooter in 0:11:20. Rating: *** ¾For weeks, Natalya had demanded that she be allowed to step into the ring with a male Superstar, but every request was denied by Peter Bradshaw. Two weeks ago, Natalya took matters into her own hands, attacking Corino, and locking in the Sharpshooter on the steel stage, injuring Corino’s leg. Corino demanded that Bradshaw make the match, and tonight, Natalya got her wish. Corino came down to the ring, still hobbling on his injured left leg, and once the match started, it was obvious that both the injury and the idea of fighting a woman was making him rethink his decision. Natalya, though, took full advantage of Corino’s indecision, and showed no problems making contact with Corino. Natalya focused on his injured leg for most of the match, wearing him down. When Corino had had enough humiliation, and finally started returning shots, it was too late. Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter, and 16 seconds later, Corino tapped out. After the match, Natalya celebrated in the center of the ring, as Corino rolled outside, getting laughed at by fans sitting in the first few rows. Josh and Scott wondered if this would be the most embarrassing moment of Corino’s career. -- Backstage, BRIE BELLA is seen with her sister, Nicole, and Alisha Hicks. Brie, still sporting a bandage around her ribs, says that she cannot afford to be afraid of Daffney. She says that Daffney has tried everything she can to injure Brie, even going as far as to hit her with a steel pipe, in the ribs. “But, no matter what,” Brie says, “I am going t stop at nothing to win the Women’s Title.” Brie and Nikki walk away as the camera shows the parking garage… -- A black pickup pulls into the parking garage, coming to a stop just a few feet from one of the many arena entrances. The driver’s side door opens and the crowd starts to anticipate who is arriving, as the sound of squealing tires is heard in the background. Seconds later, another black pickup slams into the front end of the first one, sending the driver’s side door whipping into the person who was getting out. The body of RANDY ORTON falls out, onto the concrete, with a large gash running along his forehead, as the camera shows a person - wearing a black hood - running away from the second truck. The crowd gasps in shock as Orton lays motionless on the floor. HWL officials - and medical personnel - tend to Orton as a search begins for the drive of the second pickup. -- As Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels try to come to grips with what they just witnessed, YOSHI TATSU is seen in the locker room, packing back and forth, and speaking in Japanese. The “Chairshot Survival Deathmatch” between Tatsu and Adam Cole is hyped before the camera goes back to the ring… [Dog Collar Match for Women’s Title]: Brie Bella defeated Daffney after touching all four turnbuckles in 0:09:06. Rating: *** (Brie Bella won the HWL Women’s Title.)This match has caused a lot of talk in the HWL locker room, because of Daffney’s obsession with dismantling the other Vixens. Brie Bella had taken the task of being Daffney’s next opponent, and challenger for the Women’s Title. But, tonight in Fargo, no one was expecting what they saw from Brie inside the ring. She came out swinging, unafraid of the torment and pain that Daffney had caused her over the weeks leading up to this match. Daffney tried to fight back, but Brie connected with the Bella Buster before dragging Daffney around to all four turnbuckles, and winning the match. After the match, Brie was releases from her collar, and awarded the Women’s Title, as a stunned crowd watched on. Brie left the ring as the official checked on Daffney, also taking her collar off as well. -- A video piece is shown, highlighting the back-and-forth attacks by both Yoshi Tatsu and Adam Cole, in the weeks leading up to the pay-per-view. The final video shows Yoshi Tatsu handing TYSON KIDD a steel chair, leading to Kidd’s victory over Adam Cole two weeks ago. [Chairshot Survival Death Match]: Adam Cole pinned Yoshi Tatsu after a cross-body block in 0:12:51. Rating: *** ½Yoshi Tatsu has apparently found comfort with his new, meaner mindset as he came out to the ring almost smiling before the match. Yoshi took full advantage of the fact that there were no disqualifications in this bout, taking out referee Brian Hebner just moments into the match, and brutalizing Cole outside the ring. Yoshi made very good use of the chairs supplied for this match, bending one over Cole’s back after repeatedly bringing down on him in front of the broadcast table. When replacement referee, Chad Patton, came down to the ring, Yoshi wasted zero time throwing him into the guardrail, which allowed Yoshi to inflict even more damage. But, it seemed that Yoshi spent too much time trying to get the referee incapacitated, because it allowed Cole to stage a comeback, as he took one of the dented chairs from ringside, and planted it squarely across Yoshi’s neck! Cole rolled a wobbly Tatsu back into the ring, just as Brian Hebner was getting back to his feet, and connected with a cross-body block to pick up the 1-2-3. After the match, Cole slowly got back to his feet and celebrated his victory, as HWL officials rushed down to tend to the three other men. -- Backstage, CHRIS HERO and DAVID OTUNGA are seen with Shane Hagadorn and Alisha Hicks. Alisha asks about their up-coming tight match against Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry. Hero states that he and Otunga have been one of the most impressive - if not THE most impressive - tag team to ever grace the HWL; and they haven’t even won the Tag Team Titles. Hero says that changes tonight, because he and Otunga have never been more prepared, more focused on a match like they are tonight. Otunga says that Sheffield and Terry may have gotten in a quick sneak assault on them last week, but says that Sheffield and Terry didn’t win the fight. Otunga says that tonight is going to be the final battle in their war with the Tag Team Champions; and that when this battle is finished, there will be two new men standing at the top of the mountain, looking down at the undeserving men occupying the HWL roster, who all they want is a chance to taste championship gold. Otunga says that tonight, he and Chris Hero will finally be acknowledged as the best tag team in the HWL. -- Also, backstage, KURT ANGLE is seen entering the arena, when he is approached by Ted Hanson. Hanson tells Kurt about the incident involving Randy Orton earlier in the evening, and says that due to his condition, Peter Bradshaw has announced that their Stretcher Match has been cancelled. The crowd groans at the announcement as Angle shakes his head. He says that it’s a shame that someone who would do something like that to Orton; and hopes that it was just an accident. Angle says that he will be thinking about Orton, and wishing him the best. Angle says that there are more important things that a wrestling match before walking away. -- Going back to the locker room, Alisha Hicks is seen with RAMI SEBEI. Alisha asks how Sebei is feeling after surviving the 10-man battle royal to start the show, knowing that he now has to face AJ Styles for the Heavyweight Title in a Ladder Match, later tonight. Sebei says that he never would’ve expected this to be happening in only his second event with the HWL, but that he saw his opportunity in the battle royal and had to seize it. Sebei says he’s happy things worked out, and that he is just looking forward to putting on a great match with AJ, and if the opportunity presents itself, to walk out of Fargo as the new Heavyweight Champion. -- An advertisement for the next HWL pay-per-view: Hostile Takeover is shown. The event will take place, September 18th, live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The last time we saw these four men, they were brawling their way through the crowd in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at Monday Night Anarchy. Tonight, tables were laid out all around the ringside area, in preparation for tonight’s match. The Champions came out, looking confident, as did the challengers. Hero and Otunga have quickly been making a name for themselves over the past couple months, and tonight they were trying their hand at becoming Tag Team Champions. This match, as thought, went all over the place, as both teams were trying to put each other through a table. The end of the match saw Rob Terry go for the Big Boot, but Shane Hagadorn grabbed his leg. As Terry finally turned around, Hero caught him in the Hero’s Welcome, and sent “Big Rob” crashing through the table for the victory! After the match, Hagadorn ran over and grabbed the title belts, as Skip Sheffield began to make chase. Hagadorn, Otunga and Hero ran up the ramp, and celebrated their victory as Sheffield fumed inside the ring. -- TYSON KIDD is seen getting ready for his match, when he is confronted by NATALYA. Natalya says that she knows she and Kidd haven’t seen eye-to-eye for a while, but they are family. Natalya wishes Kidd good luck in his match before walking away… -- Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Peter Bradshaw, who announces that, due to his injuries, Randy Orton has been taken to a local hospital to be checked out. Bradshaw says he will have more information tomorrow night on Monday Night Anarchy. [Strap Match for X-Division Title]: Tyson Kidd pinned Alex Shelley with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:11:07. Rating: *** ½ (Tyson Kidd won the HWL X-Division Title.) [Bret Hart interfered against Alex Shelley.]Tyson Kidd had been trying to find himself, and restart a singles career, after parting ways with David Hart Smith and Natalya. Tonight was his first major test, as he stepped into the ring against Alex Shelley, who had made unwelcome comments about Kidd’s mentor/trainer, Bret Hart. With the leather strap tied around both men’s hands, Shelley wasted no time in using it as a weapon. Shelley looked determined to injure Kidd, or end his career, as he wrapped the strap around Kidd’s neck and flung him over the top rope. Choking off his air supply, Shelley was forced to let go after the referee pushed him to the canvas, dropping Kidd to the concrete floor. Shelley argued with the referee, as Kidd slowly regained his breath and footing outside the ring. As Shelley turned away from the referee, Kidd tugged the strap, and pulled Shelley over the top rope, where Kidd regained the upper hand. Kidd continued working over Shelley back inside the ring, until Shelley ducked a clothesline attempt, and clotheslined Kidd with the strap. Kidd lay, gasping for air on the canvas, as Shelley slowly made his way around the ring, hitting the first two turnbuckles. Kidd slowly started getting to his feet as Shelley touched the third turnbuckle, but he stopped in his tracks as “THE HITMAN” BRET HART emerged from the crowd and stood at ringside. Shelley backed away from the ropes, and turned into a Springboard Elbowdrop from Kidd, who quickly made the cover, winning the X-Division Title! After the match, Kidd celebrated with the title, as Bret Hart entered the ring and joined in the celebration. Josh and Scott were ecstatic that “The Hitman” had apparently joined the HWL. -- Backstage, AJ STYLES is seen getting ready for his match, when he gets a slap on the back from RIC FLAIR. Flair tells Styles that he was planning on giving him a pep talk before the main event, but Styles is a two-time Heavyweight Champion; one of only two men to ever have that distinction. Flair says that Styles has the chance to become the only three-time Heavyweight Champion, so he doesn’t need any advice. But, Flair does say that Rami Sebei proved that he shouldn’t be taken lightly. Styles assures Flair that he has everything under control. Flair says he knows, but that he will have Styles’ back the moment he needs it. Flair walks away a Styles continues getting ready. -- A video is shown recapping the 10-man battle royal from the start of the show, and the eventual winner - Rami Sebei. -- A second ad for the Hostile Takeover is shown. The event will take place on September 18th, live from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. [Ladder Match for vacant Heavyweight Title]: AJ Styles defeated Rami Sebei in 0:34:22. Rating: *** ½ [Rob Terry and Skip Sheffield interfered against Rami Sebei.]Rami Sebei earned the right to challenge AJ Styles for the Heavyweight Title, in his very first pay-per-view event, and certainly got a lot more than he had bargained for. Sebei and Styles both put their bodies on the line in this match, that saw a lot of high spots that included the ladder - one spot seeing Styles being pushed off the ladder and getting his legs caught between the ring ropes. Sebei then tried to climb the ladder, as Ric Flair and Chelsea untangled Styles’ feet. But, as Sebei was nearing the top of the ladder, ROB TERRY ran down from the ring, and pushed the pulled Sebei off and connected with the Big Boot! Terry left the ring as Styles slowly got to his feet and re-entered the ring. Styles tried to climb the ladder, but was having trouble with his footing, and Sebei was able to bring Styles off as the match continued. Rob Terry and Ric Flair continued to insert themselves into the match, but none of their attempts seemed to do any good, as Sebei was able to thwart them off. Later in the match, Sebei connected with the Brainbustah(!) on Styles, as the crowd’s excitement built. As Sebei climbed to the top of the ladder, SKIP SHEFFIELD entered the ring, and pushed the ladder over, sending Sebei crashing through the announce table!! Terry stood the ladder back up, and assisted Styles as he climbed up the rungs, grabbing the Heavyweight Title for the third time. After the match, Styles, Terry, Sheffield, Flair and Chelsea celebrated inside the ring, as HWL officials rushed to ringside to tend to Sebei. Unbreakable goes off the air with all five standing in the center of the ring. Card rating: *** ¾

Monday Night Anarchy August 22, 2011 Alerus Center Grand Forks, North Dakota Attendance: 13,505 (73%) A video package is shown from last night’s Unbreakable pay-per-view. Fireworks explode inside the arena, as “Headstrong” plays. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Grand Forks, and the first-ever show at the Alerus Center. They announce tonight’s main event as a rematch from Unbreakable, as Rami Sebei takes on new Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles, in a non-title match. Also tonight, Eddie Edwards faces new X-Division Champion Tyson Kidd, and Tommy Dreamer will team up with Brutus Magnus to take on Evan Bourne and Kaz. The camera goes to the stage as Peter Bradshaw makes his way down to the ring with a very stern expression on his face. Bradshaw enters the ring, grabs a microphone and says that after the events that took place last night at Unbreakable, he wanted to let everyone know the condition of “The Viper” Randy Orton. Bradshaw says that Orton was taken to t hospital last night, and was diagnosed with having suffered a concussion from the drive-by attack. Bradshaw that there is no set time-table for Orton’s return, but that the entire HWL family wishes him a speedy recovery. He then says that he wants to ask someone a very direct question, and that he wants to do it in front of the fans. Bradshaw then calls out KURT ANGLE, demanding that he meet Bradshaw in the ring. After a few minutes of waiting, Angle makes his way down to the ring, getting booed with every step. He enters the ring, defiantly grabs the microphone and asks Bradshaw what he wants. Angle says that Bradshaw and everyone else in the locker room has been asking him about what happened last night. He says that the answer is going to be the same no matter how many times he’s asked: he didn’t have anything to do with what happened to Randy Orton. In fact, Angle says that what happened to Orton last night was better for him, than what would’ve happened had their match taken place. (crowd boos) Bradshaw says that, if Angle is telling the truth, then next week, he would have absolutely not problem taking a lie detector test, in the middle of the ring. Angle, trying to keep his composure, stares at Bradshaw and says that he has nothing to hide before throwing down the microphone and leaving the ring. Commercial BreakAdam Cole vs. Steve CorinoCole and Corino came into tonight having had different endings to their night at Unbreakable, with Cole defeating Yoshi Tatsu in a Chairshot Survival Deathmatch, and Corino being forced to tap out in the Sharpshooter by Natalya. Cole kept his momentum going tonight, hitting the Panama Sunrise to pick up the victory. Adam Cole pinned Steve Corino with the Panama Sunrise in 0:12:11. Rating: ****Commercial BreakBackstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with CM PUNK, who made his return to the HWL, last night at Unbreakable. Asked about his return last night, Punk says that he left earlier in the year because he was tired of getting mistreated and underused by Peter Bradshaw and the rest of the HWL. Punk says that he went back to the WWE, where he ultimately became the biggest star they’ve had in recent years. He says that the WWE, just like the HWL, didn’t know what they had when Punk was sitting on the top with their Heavyweight Title, and that when management got a little pissed off over something he said, they fired him. Punk says that he knew that Bradshaw would love to have his name back on the roster, so he offered up a contract that started last night. Punk says that this time around he was not going to sit around and let his talent be wasted. Punk then changes gears, and says that, speaking of wasted talent, he was wondering why El Generico agreed to the name change that he took before coming up from PCW. Punk says that Rami Sebei is above that, and that last night, against AJ Styles, Sebei proved that. Punk gives Sebei credit for winning the battle royal, and for going the distance against Styles, but says that if there’s anyone that deserves a title shot against Styles, it’s Punk. He walks away as the camera goes to another area of the arena… RIC FLAIR is seen walking through the hallways, with a huge smile on his face, when he is approached by EVAN BOURNE. Bourne says he wants to know what reason Flair had for interfering in the battle royal last night. He says that Flair cost him a shot at the Heavyweight Title. Flair, in return, said that Bourne wouldn’t have known what to do with his shot if he had won the battle royal, because Flair doesn’t think Bourne will ever be a main event caliber talent. Enraged, Bourne makes a move towards Flair, only to be blindsided from behind by MATT MORGAN. Morgan continues to assault Bourne, before throwing him into a number of trash cans off to the side. Morgan and Flair leave as the camera zooms in on Bourne… Maryse vs. © Brie Bella (Non-Title Match)The new Women’s Champion, Brie Bella, came down to the ring still showing signs of the attack from Daffney, and from the match last night at Unbreakable. But, the taped ribs and other unseen injuries couldn’t keep Brie down as she took on Maryse tonight. Brie enjoyed a comfortable advantage early on, but Maryse was able to hit a kick to the midsection and apply a side headlock, bring Brie to the canvas, putting pressure on Brie’s injured ribs. However, Brie was able to recover, and hit the Bella Buster for the 1-2-3. Brie Bella pinned Maryse with the Bella Buster in 0:08:03. Rating: ½*Commercial BreakAs Anarchy returns, ALEX SHELLEY makes his way to the ring, as Josh and Scott talk about him losing X-Division Title to Tyson Kidd last night. In the ring, Shelley acknowledges the boos, saying that the crowd could live up the fact that he lost the title, but that each and every one of them knew that it wasn’t due to Tyson Kidd being a better wrestler than him. Shelley said that he was in total control of their match last night, and was on the brink of retaining the X-Division Title, when Bret Hart showed up and distracted him. He says that Kidd took advantage of that and is now carrying around a title that doesn’t belong to him. Shelley says that he knows both men are in the arena, before calling out Kidd and Hart. Wasting no time, TYSON KIDD and BRET HART make their way to the ring, with Kidd proudly showing off his newly won title belt. Inside the ring, Kidd says that Shelley is just upset because he was beat by his own game, and because of it, he’s now a former champion. Kidd asks how many times Shelley had used distractions to get the better of his opponents; or how many times Shelley had used some kind of cheap shot to steal a victory. Kidd says that he was just doing what was par for the course. Flustered by Kidd’s words, Shelley only says that because he is the former champion, he is entitled to a rematch; and that he would be invoking his rematch clause at Hostile Takeover. Shelley walks closer to Kidd and tells him to enjoy his title reign, because it’s going to be a short one. He then moves over to Hart, and says that if he is going to be at Kidd’s side from now on, then he should expect that anything and everything can happen. Shelley then slaps Hart across the face before fleeing the ring as Hart runs to the ropes. The crowd roars in boos as Shelley makes his way up the ramp, while inside the ring, Kidd and Hart stare at him, fuming. Commercial BreakTommy Dreamer/Brutus Magnus vs. Kaz/Evan BourneKaz started the match against Tommy Dreamer, and used not only his speed - but his age - to gain the upper hand as Dreamer was unable to counter much of Kaz’s offense. The mood, and advantage, changed as Brutus Magnus was tagged in, and he ducked a flying clothesline from Kaz. Brutus then went on the offensive, using power moves to wear Kaz down, but only getting a two-count on his pinfall attempt. Brutus kept up the offense until Kaz reversed an irish whip into the turnbuckle, and tagged in Bourne, who lit the ring on fire. Bourne - the fresher guy - lit up Magnus, sending up to the concrete at ringside with a dropkick. Outside the ring, Bourne sent Brutus into both the ring steps and the ring post before re-entering the ring. Magnus tried coming back, kicking Bourne in the ribs, and sending him into the ropes; but Bourne reversed the power slam attempt into a swinging neck breaker. Jumping onto the top rope, Bourne connected with the Shooting Star Press, as Tommy Dreamer could only watch the referee count to three. Evan Bourne & Kaz defeated Tommy Dreamer & Brutus Magnus when E. Bourne pinned Magnus with the Shooting Star Press in 0:13:14. Rating: ***Commercial BreakBackstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with NATALYA. Congratulated on her victory over Steve Corino last night, Natalya says that despite what everyone else was saying about her facing a male superstar, she had no doubt that she would come out victorious. When said that Corino was previously injured by her Sharpshooter, Natalya said that everyone wants to make excuses for why he lost last night. She says that she didn’t do anything differently from what the male superstars on the roster do: they stalk out their prey, and attack. Then, when the time comes, they finish the job when it counts. She says that, last night, she proved that she’s not afraid to get into the ring with any male superstar on the roster; and because of that, she is setting her sights on one day challenging for a major title. She walks away, confidently, as the camera goes to another area backstage… In the locker room of new Heavyweight Champion, AJ STYLES, RIC FLAIR, MATT MORGAN, SKIP SHEFFIELD, ROB TERRY and CHESLEA are all seen celebrating with glasses of champagne. Laughter is heard as small conversations are taking place around the room, when MR. ANDERSON enters the room. Tapping Flair on the leg, Styles motions towards Anderson, and asks what he’s doing. Anderson said that, the last time he could remember, he was still a part of their group, and that he did what he could to help Styles win the belt last night; he says that he should be allowed to celebrate, too. Styles tells Anderson that he appreciates everything that he’s done for him, and offers him a glass of champagne. As Anderson takes a sip, Sheffield and Terry attack him from behind, sending everyone else in the room scattering. Minutes after the attack, Styles bends down beside Anderson and says the appreciates what he did, but that it just wasn’t enough. The camera goes back to the ring as Josh and Scott mention how despicable Styles’ actions were. Eddie Edwards vs. © Tyson Kidd (Non-Title Match)Eddie Edwards came out strong tonight, taking the fight to the new X-Division Champion, locking in an abdominal stretch that nearly caused Kidd to submit. Kidd was able to reach the ropes, and fought his way back - thanks to a series of reversals from both men - before connecting with a DDT. Kidd ran into the ropes, only to have them pulled down by ALEX SHELLEY from the outside, and soon became the victim of a two-on-one assault. BRET HART ran down to the ring, to get the referee’s attention, but Edwards rolled Kidd back into the ring before any discipline could be handed out. Back on his feet, Kidd began limping, and Edwards focused on the injury, before locking in the Achilles Lock. Kidd, in the center of the ring had no choice but to tap out. From outside the ring, Shelley smiled as he made his way to the back. Eddie Edwards made Tyson Kidd submit to the Achilles Lock in 0:05:19. Rating: *** [Alex Shelley interfered against Tyson Kidd.]Commercial BreakRami Sebei vs. © AJ Styles (Non-Title Match)Coming off the heels of last night’s Ladder Match, Peter Bradshaw signed a non-title rematch between Sebei and Styles; and they did not disappoint. Again, this match was a contest of two similar styles of wrestling, with both men relying on high-risk maneuvers and speed to get their better of each other. Sebei started the match off, surprisingly using a ground game to slow down Styles. Styles struggled to get out of the various holds Sebei locked in, eventually sliding to safety outside the ring. As Styles got a few pointers from Ric Flair, Sebei attempted a suicide dive that Flair pushed Styles out of the way of, taking the brunt of the move instead. Styles jumped into action, attacking Sebei, and sending him into the steel ring steps. Back inside the ring, Styles focused on the shoulder and neck area, weakening that part of Sebei’s body. Styles kept up the assault, and went for the Styles Clash, but Sebei rammed Styles into the corner, catching a break. Styles ran out of the corner and was met with a dropkick. Sebei went for the cover, but Flair - who was back on his feet - pulled Sebei off. Sebei got to his feet and started arguing with Flair, when Styles connected with a forearm smash, rolled Sebei up, and grabbed his tights as the referee counted to three. After the match, Styles quickly left the ring with Flair, as Chelsea grabbed the title belt and joined them on the ramp. Inside the ring, Sebei pled his case about having his tights pulled. As Styles, Flair and Chelsea looked on, MR. ANDERSON came from the back, and blindsided Styles, sending the crowd into a frenzy! Anderson attacked both Styles and Flair as Chelsea looked on, screaming. Anderson threw Flair into the steel stage set-up before hitting the Mic Check on Styles onto the stage! Anderson stared down at the two men as Anarchy went off the air. AJ Styles pinned Rami Sebei after a forearm smash in 0:17:17. Monday Night Anarchy August 29, 2011 Coca-Cola Dome - Johannesburg, South Africa Attendance: 14,040 (78%)
Fireworks explode, as “Headstrong” blares through the arena, and Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Johannesburg, South Africa. They give a run-down of tonight’s card, just 20 days away from Hostile Takeover in Dallas, Texas.
KEN ANDERSON’s music plays as he makes his way down to the ring, showing signs of the attack last week at the hands of Rob Terry and Skip Sheffield. He enters the ring and grabs a microphone…
KA: “I know a lot of you are expecting me to come out her and give you my little spiel, and all that; but it’s not going to happen tonight, because I’m certainly not in the mood to pander to the fans. (slight booing) Yeah, I know. You can boo me all you want to, but after what happened last week, the last thing on my mind is making you - the crowd - happy. I’m out here, and I am not leaving this ring until I get a match with either one of those two brain-dead bouncer wannabes!
Anderson begins to pace around the ring, not getting a response from anyone…
KA: “No? That’s fine. I’ve got all night. But this’ll give me a chance to get some other things off my chest. First things first: Ric Flair. I know everyone has been saying it for years, but sooner or later you’re going to realize that you’re nothing but a washed-up has been that serves no purpose being in this business for as long as you have been. None of these people give a damn about you anymore; and the only reason you’re still around is because you think you can actually help AJ Styles become something. This will be the only time you hear me say this, but AJ was something before you came around, Ric. Now… now, he’s just another one of your pathetic puppets. Just like those two big goons you had attack me last week. They are former Tag Team Champions, and now, they’ve lowered themselves to just being yes men. It’s a disgrace.”
Anderson continues to walk around the ring, still getting no reply from his earlier request…
KA: And that brings me to you, AJ. All this time, you’ve been walking around backstage, in this very ring, and everywhere else that people are in the range of your voice, saying that you are an elite wrestler; and that no one in the HWL - except for Desmond Wolfe - will ever be at the same level as you. Yes, you’re a three-time Heavyweight Champion. There’s no denying that fact. But, to think that you did it on your own is beyond crazy. At Unbreakable, you didn’t even has the chance to face the man you wanted to for the title. You had to face some rookie, and he took your ass to the limit two nights in a row! (crowd cheers) You treated your win at Unbreakable like it was best night of your life. And, the only reason that is, is because you didn’t have to step into the ring against Cody Rhodes. (crowd pops) But, since Cody’s out for a while, and seeing as how it would be one of my proudest moments to see the look on your face when I beat you, why don’t you give me - someone who you think is under you - a chance to take that title from you at Hostile Takeover?”
The crowd cheers wildly as Anderson leans against the ropes, waiting for a response. Finally, RIC FLAIR appears on-stage with ROB TERRY.
RF: “So, the quiet one finally decides to open his mouth; and everything you’ve said you actually think you can back up?”
Anderson nods his head from the ring…
RF: “Well, then, Mr. Anderson - or, can I even call you that anymore? - I’ve talked it over with both Big Rob, and YOUR Heavyweight Champion - Wooo! - and they’ve both agreed to your challengers. So, tonight, you can expect to get the ass kickin’ of a lifetime, baby! Woo! You better just be hopin’ that Big Rob, here, leaves some of you for AJ to finish off at Hostile Takeover! Woooo!”
Flair’s music plays as he and Terry exit the stage. Inside the ring, Anderson watches with a satisfied smile on his face…

Kaz vs. CM Punk
CM Punk stepped into the ring tonight, for his first singles match since returning to the HWL, and showed off a variety of new moves that he had picked up during his time away. Throughout the match, Punk used all sorts of kicks to Kaz’s legs and midsection, hoping to wear his opponent down. Out of desperation for the onslaught, Kaz threw Punk outside the ring, where he was able to whip Punk into the guardrail and catch a short breather. Back in the ring, Kaz connected with a German suplex but only got a two-count. Punk fought his way back, though, and connected with a backbreaker; followed by a German suplex of his own; and an inside cradle - all three times, Kaz kicked out barely before the three. The match continued as both men jockeyed for the advantage. Punk attempted the G.T.S, but Kaz reversed it into an inside cradle, getting a close two-count. Punk rolled out of the ring to catch his bearings, but was followed outside by Kaz. As Kaz went to grab Punk, Punk landed a huge uppercut that stunned Kaz, before Punk whipped him into the steel ring steps. Punk re-entered the ring as the referee started his count. Kaz re-entered the ring at the count of nine, only to be blindsided by a low blow by Punk, just out of view from the referee. Punk hoisted Kaz up and connected with the G.T.S for the 1-2-3
CM Punk pinned Kaz with the G.T.S. in 0:16:59. Rating: *****

Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with RAMI SEBEI…
AH: “Rami, last week, CM Punk had some pretty harsh things to say about you and your move to the HWL roster. Would you like to respond?
RS: “Punk, you did have a lot to say about me last week, eh? You sure did come out and let me have it, didn’t ya? The name change, not feeling that I was worthy of challenging for the Heavyweight Title. You give me credit for doing my best in the ring, and then say that you’re more deserving of a title shot because you were the Heavyweight Champion somewhere else? `The thing is, Punk, I’m doing what I know is best for my career. You, on the other hand, want to make things personal, because all you’ve ever done during your time here is run your mouth about not getting a fair shot, and then picking up your ball and running home. You may have all the talent in the world - and I will give you that - but, the only thing you’ve done in the HWL is complain. So, unless you plan on changing things - and showing everyone what you can do in the ring, like I have - then you will have to just get used to being overlooked.”
With that, Sebei walks away from Alisha, as the camera goes back to the ring…
Daffney vs. Nikka Bella
After coming up short in her title defense against Brie Bella at Unbreakable, Daffney stepped into the ring with Brie’s sister Nikki; and the “Demonic Princess” made sure to start where she left off in Fargo. Just moments after the bell rang, Daffney hid behind the referee as Nikki attempted a clothesline, knocking the referee to the canvas. As Nikki looked on in shock, Daffney jumped at the chance, jumping onto Nikki and connecting with numerous rights and lefts. Finally, the referee got back to his feet, and pulled Daffney away, but the damaged had been done. Nikki spent the better part of the match trying to stay away from Daffney. After Daffney threw her outside the ring, and started playing to the crowd’s boos, Nikki appeared to have had enough, and was waiting when Daffney exited the ring. Daffney grabbed Nikki in an attempt to hit the Lobotomy onto the concrete, but Nikkie reversed it with a suplex. Nikki quickly rolled Daffney into the ring and went for the cover, only to have Daffney put her foot on the ropes. Distraught, Nikki started to argue with the referee, as Daffney rolled her up with an inside cradle, but only got a two-count of her own. Back on their feet, Daffney reversed an irish whip with a short clothesline, and followed it up by hitting the Lobotomy in the center of the ring, getting the 1-2-3.
Daffney pinned Nikki Bella with the Lobotomy in 0:10:43. Rating: * ½

TYSON KIDD DENIES REMATCH X-Division Champion, Tyson Kidd makes his way down to the ring as “Anarchy” returns from commercials. Kidd says that, last week, he was appalled to see Alex Shelley stoop to such a low, smacking Bret Hart and blaming him for losing at Unbreakable. Kidd said that he wasn’t surprised to hear Shelley demand a rematch for Hostile Takeover, but said that Shelley’s reasoning was not grounds for one. Kidd said that Bret Hart did not physically interfere in the match; and that Shelley only had himself to blame for getting distracted. Kidd said that, if the roles were reversed, Shelley would’ve come out to the ring and bragged about his victory. Kidd said that if Shelley wanted to earn his rematch, at Hostil Takeover, he has a couple weeks to do so. Kidd then leaves the ring as “Anarchy” goes back to commercials.

Colt Cabana/William Regal vs. Chris Hero/Steve Corino
After the attack on David Otunga, Chris Hero was in need of a parter to face Cabana and the newly signed William Regal. Steve Corino appeared from the back, and offered his services to Hero, as both Hero and Shane Hagadorn looked on in disbelief. Other than the obvious distaste Hero showed for having to team up with Corino, they worked very well together, keeping both Cabana and Regal isolated from each other for different stretches throughout the match. Cabana and Regal were able to stage a slight comeback, but it was too little too late as Corino hit Cabana with the Sliding Lariat to pick up the 1-2-3.
Chris Hero & Steve Corino defeated Colt Cabana & William Regal when S. Corino pinned Cabana with the Sliding Lariat in 0:12:35. Rating: *** ½ (David Otunga no-showed.)

EDDIE EDWARDS STEPS UP Backstage, Eddie Edwards finds Peter Bradshaw backstage, as the Owner makes his way to his office. Edwards says that, earlier tonight, Tyson Kidd is not issuing a rematch to Alex Shelley; and that, last week, he defeated Kidd. Edwards says that, because of those two factors, he should be the new number one contender or the X-Division Title. Bradshaw says that he agrees with Edwards; and gives him credit for his victory last week, but says that Tyson Kidd doesn’t have the authority to decide who does and doesn’t get a title shot. Bradshaw says that, as of right now, Alex Shelley IS the number one contender, but that Edwards will have a chance to change that next week. Bradshaw announces that Edwards will face Alex Shelley in a number one contenders match. Bradshaw then enters his office as Edwards walks away, smiling.
Ken Anderson vs. Rob Terry (w/Chelsea & Ric Flair)
After being blindsided by Terry and Skip Sheffield last week, Anderson demanded to get in the ring with one of them tonight, but it was quickly established that he would have his back against the wall, as MATT MORGAN, AJ STYLES and Sheffield made their way to ringside as the match progressed. Flair and Styles interfered, causing a great distraction that Terry wasted no time in taking advantage off. The referee admonished both of them, leaving just Sheffield and Chelsea at ringside for the rest of the match. Anderson did whatever he could to fight back against the odds, eventually surprising Terry with a reverse neck breaker. Anderson went for the cover, but before the referee could count, Morgan entered the ring and broke up the pinfall, disqualifying Big Rob.
Ken Anderson defeated Rob Terry by disqualification in 0:10:46. Rating: ** ¼ [Ric Flair, AJ Styles and Matt Morgan interfered against Ken Anderson.]

KURT ANGLE’S LIE DETECTOR TEST Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels announced that this was going to be the very first time a lie detector test would be taking place inside a wrestling ring, in front of the world, on live television. Sitting in the center of the ring, where two chairs, and a table holding the testing machine. The crowd rumbled with anticipation as Peter Bradshaw made his way to the ring, being followed by another in a suit. Inside the ring, Bradshaw introduces the man as the test specialist, who will be monitoring the machine throughout the test. Bradshaw then wastes no time and asking Kurt Angle to join them in the ring…
Angle’s music hits, as he walks on-stage to a tremendous amount of boos from the crowd. He makes his way down the ramp, entering the ring, and stands in front of Bradshaw and the specialist, staring at them as the tension boils. Angle gets on the mic, and tells Bradshaw that he’s wasting his time, and that he has said all along that he had nothing to do with Randy Orton’s attack at Unbreakable. But, Angle says if he has to come out and be a part of Bradshaw’s dog and pony show, just to clear his name… then that is what he’ll do.
As Angle sits down, and the specialist hooks him up to the machine, Bradshaw announces to the crowd that he is going to ask five yes/no questions that Angle will answer. Bradshaw says that, based on the results of tonight’s test, and the answers provided by Angle, his fate - as a HWL Superstar - will be decided. Getting the “OK” from the specialist, Bradshaw’s first question is: “Is it true that you have made it clear in the past that you do not like Randy Orton?” Angle smirks and answers “Yes.”
Bradshaw’s second question: “Is it true that, if he’s healthy, you are looking forward to getting into the ring with Randy Orton once again?” Angle’s answer: “Yes.”
Bradshaw’s third question: “Did you enjoy knowing that Randy Orton was out for a number of weeks with an injury?” Angle’s answer: “Yes.”
Bradshaw’s fourth question: “Would you be happy if Randy Orton was forced to retire, and never stepped foot into a wrestling ring again?” Angle’s answer: “Absolutely.” The crowd roars with boos as Bradshaw appears stunned by Angle’s quickness to answer that question. Angle, sitting in his chair, stares at Bradshaw, clearly confident in his answer.
Bradshaw takes a minute to ask his fifth question: “Kurt, yes or no. Were you behind the wheel of the car that struck Randy Orton, last Sunday night, at Unbreakable…?” Before Angle can answer the question, Randy Orton’s music plays, sending the crowd into a frenzy. Angle jumps to his feet, sending the testing machine and specialist crashing to the canvas, as he waits for Orton’s appearance on-stage. The crowd roars in cheers as Orton appears from within them, and enters the ring, standing behind Angle, stalking him. As Angle turns around, Orton connects with an RKO in the center of the ring, as the crowd roars with approval. Orton stands over Angle and looks at Bradshaw, before posing for the crowd, as “Anarchy” goes off the air.

Monday Night Anarchy September 5, 2011 Telefonica Arena - Madrid, Spain Attendance: 7,174 (70%)
RANDY ORTON COMMENTS “The Viper” comes down to the ring, to a huge roar of cheers from the crowd, and reminds everyone that he and Kurt Angle have had a long history during their time in the HWL. Orton says that if there’s anyone in the HWL that knows Kurt Angle, and knows where Angle is hiding something, it’s him. Orton says that it was clear on Angle’s face, that every time he answered one of Peter Bradshaw’s question, he was speaking the truth. Orton says that he has never known Kurt Angle to lie, and that it wasn’t hard to hide the fact that Angle wanted Orton out of the HWL, because Angle thought of him as a threat. Even when Angle was Heavyweight Champion, he knew that Orton was just “this close”… and, because of that, Angle wanted to end Orton’s career. Orton says the question wasn’t answered, and that whether the answer was yes or not, it doesn’t matter. To Orton, Angle was either behind the wheel of the car that hit him at Unbreakable; or Angle knows damn well who was. Either way, Orton says, all the cards are being laid out on the table; and at Hostile Takeover, everything will be revealed.

CHRIS HERO GETS RETALIATION Backstage, Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry are seen exiting The Conglomerate’s locker room, when they are blindsided by Chris Hero! Hero gets the better of them at first, but the tide finally turns, until David Otunga returns to even the score. HWL officials break up the fight, as Peter Bradshaw approaches, furious. He says that he will not tolerate this kind of behavior; and that if Chris Hero wants to fight, then he will get his chance - against Skip Sheffield - later tonight.
Rami Sebei vs. William Regal
Tonight’s opening match was a clash of two very different wrestling styles as the high-flyer Sebei went up against the old-school mat wrestling of the veteran, Regal. Sebei was quickly grounded as ROB TERRY and SKIP SHEFFIELD made their way down to ringside, just moments after the bell, and repeatedly interfered on behalf of Regal. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels questioned what motives the former Tag Team champs had, while Sebei heroically fought them off, and was able to hit the Brainbustah to pick up the 1-2-3.
Rami Sebi pinned William Regal with the Brainbustah in 0:13:05. Rating: ** ¾ [Rob Terry and Skip Sheffield interfered against Rami Sebei.]

Maryse/Daffney vs. The Bella Twins
Last week, Daffney let her anger toward the Women’s Champion - Brie Bella - get the better of her as she went on a rampage, attacking Brie’s sister, Nikki, after their match. Tonight, The Bellas teamed up to take on Daffney and Maryse, with the twins both wanting to get a piece of the “Demonic Princess”. Maryse and Daffney, however, controlled most of the match, until a brawl ensued inside the ring, and Brie Bella was able to toss Daffney outside the ring. With the two of them fighting each other outside the ring, Nikki connected with the Bella Buster to pick up the 1-2-3.
The Bella Twins (Brie and Nikki) defeated Maryse & Daffney when Nikki pinned Maryse with the Bella Buster in 0:11: 34. Rating: *

AJ STYLES COMMENTS ON ANDERSON Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles, comes out to the ring with fellow Conglomerate members Matt Morgan, Ric Flair and Chelsea. Styles says that, last week, Ken Anderson came out and demanded to face him for the Heavyweight Title at Hostile Takeover, and that Styles wasn’t sure if he should take him seriously or not because Styles has never thought of Anderson as a threat to him or anyone else holding a title. Styles says that, because of Anderson and his ability to crack under the pressure, they were never able to win the Tag Team Titles.
This brings out Anderson, who comes down to the ring and gets into Styles’s face. Anderson said that for months he watched Styles’s back, and stood in the shadows as Flair and everyone else kissed Styles’s ass. Anderson said that he knew Styles never trusted him as a tag team partner, and that he couldn’t be happier that he no longer has to deal with everyone doing what they can to make AJ the main focus. Anderson says even AJ knows that, if it weren’t for Flair and the rest of his yes men, Styles wouldn’t be the one holding the Heavyweight Title.
This infuriates Styles, who pushes Anderson into the ring ropes. Anderson, in return, punches Styles in the jaw, dropping him to the canvas before an all-out brawl ensues. Styles rolls out of the ring as Anderson takes on Flair and Morgan. Anderson ducks a clothesline from Morgan, before tossing him over the top rope. Morgan joins Styles on the ramp as Anderson and Flair brawl in the ring. Anderson connects with a right, before whipping Flair into the ropes; but Flair holds on and slides out of the ring as the crowd goes crazy.
As Anderson watches from the ring, Peter Bradshaw appears on-stage, shocking the Conglomerate. Bradshaw says that every one of the HWL fans - including himself - would love to see to what happens when two former tag team partners step into the ring, and fight for the right to be called the HWL Heavyweight Champion. Bradshaw then signs a match between Styles and Anderson for the main event at Hostile Takeover. Bradshaw walks away from the stage, with the crowd going crazy, as Flair, Styles and Morgan look on in stunned silence. In the ring, Anderson smiles as “Anarchy” goes to commercials.

Kaz/Evan Bourne vs. AJ Styles/Rob Terry
A few weeks ago, at Unbreakable, Evan Bourne became a target of Ric Flair and the rest of his stable, as Flair helped Matt Morgan eliminate Bourne during the #1 Contender’s Match. Tonight, Bourne and Kaz were given the chance to step into the ring with Matt Morgan’s partners in crime - including the Heavyweight Champion, AJ Styles. Styles was forced to do a lot of the work tonight, as Rob Terry had fallen victim to an attack by Chris Hero and David Otunga earlier in the night. With Styles and the other two in the ring, the match was very fast paced, with plenty of near-falls. Styles got a little help from the outside as Flair made his presence known during the match. At the end of the match, Kaz tossed Styles through the ropes and connected with a plancha off the top rope that sent Styles head-first into the guardrail, opening up a small gash above his eye. The match quickly turned into an all out brawl as the referee counted out both men.
Kaz & Evan Bourne and AJ Styles & Rob Terry battled to a double-countout in 0:19:04. Rating: ** ¾ [Ric Flair interfered against Evan Bourne.]

ALEX SHELLEY HAS A SURPRISE FOR TYSON KIDD Alex Shelley makes his way to the ring, with a huge smile on his face, and tells the crowd that he went on a sight-seeing tour of Madrid and it’s suburbs earlier in the day. Shelley tells Tyson Kidd to pay close attention before playing the video. The video is footage, taken from a hand-held camera, from inside a car, that shows Bret Hart walking through the streets of Madrid, unaware that he is being filmed. On the video, Alex Shelley can be heard saying that he’s going to teach both Bret and Tyson Kidd a lesson; and that it breaks his heart because he can’t do one without doing the other. The scene changes as a car pulls into the driveway of a house on the outskirts of the city. Shelley gets out of the car and knocks on the front door. When Bret answers the door, Shelley attacks him, causing Hart’s girlfriend to scream out in shock. Both men begin to brawl throughout Hart’s house, crashing into furniture, breaking glass, and putting huge holes in the walls. The fight continues until Hart pushes Shelley into the wall, and charges after him, but Shelley grabs a picture off the wall and cracks it over Hart’s head. Hart falls to the ground, and is starting to bleed, as Shelley stands over him and looks into the camera. Shelley says that he will not stop going after the person Tyson Kidd respects the most, until he gets what he wants: a rematch for the X-Division Title at Hostile Takeover. The video ends as the crowd showers Shelley with boos, as he stands in the ring smiling. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels call his actions “absolutely despicable”.
Eddie Edwards vs. Alex Shelley (#1 Contender Match for X-Division Title)
The crowd was fully behind Eddie Edwards tonight, after witnessing the horrific actions taken by Alex Shelley over the weekend. Shelley played up the crowd’s hatred for him, taking his time as he worked over Edwards at the start of the match. Edwards wouldn’t go down so quietly, though, and he used the encouragement from the crowd to stage a comeback that shocked Shelley, who appeared to think he would have an easy time tonight. Edwards went on a tear, with the crowd roaring its approval, and nearly got a pinfall after connecting with a DDT in the center of the ring. Edwards played up to the crowd as Shelley rolled out of the ring to compose himself. As Edwards went out after him, Shelley thumbed Edwards in the eye, before sending him into the ring steps! Back in the ring, Shelley took control of the match, eventually hitting a Flatliner to pick up the 1-2-3 and secure his spot as #1 Contender for the X-Division Title.
Alex Shelley pinned Eddie Edwards after a Flatliner in 0:10:14. Rating: ** ½

CM PUNK RESPONDS TO SEBEI Backstage, CM Punk tells Alisha Hicks that he’s glad to see Rami Sebei sticking to his guns, and showing the courage to stand up for what he thinks is right. But Punk says that he doesn’t give a damn about what Rami Sebei thinks is right, because the only thing Punk is worried about is making a name for himself in the HWL, and staking claim to his rightful place as Heavyweight Champion. Punk says that Peter Bradshaw has finally come to his senses - or just started realizing what kind of goldmine he had been handed - because, tomorrow night, he would be challenging for the PCW Tag Team Titles. Punk says that it’s not the HWL Heavyweight Title, or the X-Division Title, or even the HWL Tag Team Titles, but it’s start. Punk says that he has already made a name for himself everywhere else he’s ever gone, and that this time around, he would staying in the HWL to make sure he did the same thing here. Punk says that, instead of worrying about what he does to further his career, Sebei should be worrying about what Punk’s going to do to end his, at Hostile Takeover.
Chris Hero vs. Skip Sheffield (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)
Both men came out fuming, wanting to finish what was started backstage earlier in the show, but Chris Hero had a hard time getting anything going as Sheffield dominated most of the match. Things didn’t get any easier for Hero as ROB TERRY made his way down to ringside, joining Chelsea and Flair. Hero fought back, and reversed a backpack stunner into an inside cradle, but only got a two-count. From the outside, Flair jumped onto the apron and started arguing with the referee, as Rob Terry tossed Sheffield a steel chair, which is cracked over top of Hero’s head before going for the cover. Hero was lucky to get his foot on the ropes, but the match continued. Sheffield tossed Hero outside the ring, and distracted the official as Terry and Flair worked Hero over outside, before rolling him back in. Sheffield went for the cover, but Hero kicked out once more. After battling back, later in the match, Hero had the crowd behind him as he went for the Hero’s Welcome. Going for the pin, Hero was attacked by Rob Terry, as the referee had no choice but to call for the bell.
Chris Hero defeated Skip Sheffield by Disqualification in 0:12:16. Rating: *** [Rob Terry interfered against Chris Hero.]

Whoa! Lots and lots and lots of fighting on this card!
Hero is nuts for attacking Sheffield & Terry alone. He's lucky one didn't grab his legs and the other grab is arms and rip him in half.
Alex Shelley attacking Bret in his home is not only "absolutely despicable" but it's entirely against the law! The heat between Kidd & Shelley is intense and I can't wait until it boils over. I think both guys could be elevated big time if this angle continues to escalate.
The 8 man elimination match next week will be awesome. I can see Punk getting involved one way or another. This will also give Anderson a chance to send a message to AJ before their match at Hostile Takeover.
The PPV is stacking up well. I'm looking forward to it already.

Styles says that over the past few weeks, he has noticed a different side of Ken Anderson; a side that Styles wishes would’ve been known when he and Anderson were challenging for the Tag Team Titles. Styles says that, in a moment of weakness, he has brought out “The Blueprint” for his own safety. Styles then calls Anderson out to the ring to head into Hostile Takeover on “good terms”. Anderson comes down to the ring, and says that there will never be any “good terms” between the two of them; and the only thing that might help, is when Anderson wins the Heavyweight Title on Sunday night. (crowd cheers) As Anderson turns to leave the ring, he is attacked by both Morgan and Styles! After a few moments of fighting them off, Anderson is joined by EVAN BOURNE, who comes out and clears the ring. Commercial BreakBrutus Magnus vs. William RegalBrutus Magnus made his singles return to the HWL tonight, taking on the wily veteran, William Regal. Since seeing the horrible actions taken by Alex Shelley, Kidd says that he can’t close his eyes without seeing the events unfold over and over again. Kidd questions why Shelley would stoop to such lows, knowing that he would’ve had the chance to earn a title shot in a match that he ultimately won. Kidd says that he knew how much the X-Division Title meant to Shelley, and that losing it must’ve caused something in his brain to snap; or that Shelley’s intentions were to play mind games leading up to Hostile Takeover. Kidd gives Shelley credit, and says that he won’t be able to forget what he saw last week for a long time; but that Shelley has six days to bask in the glory of his actions, because at Hostile Takeover, Shelley will regret the day he ever laid a hand on Bret Hart. Alisha then asks about Bret’s condition, and Kidd says that other than a few cuts and bruises, he’s doing fine. Kidd then announces that, because Bret is better than expected, he will be in Dallas, Texas for Hostile Takeover. (crowd cheers) Kidd walks away as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss the possibilities of having “The Hitman” in Dallas… Vixen’s Battle Royal (#1 Contenders Match)With the Women’s Title match already set for this Sunday night, Peter Bradshaw scheduled this match to determine who would be next in line for a shot at either Brie Bella or Daffney after Hostile Takeover. The crowd was treated to a surprise as former TNA Knockout, Taylor Wilde was announced as the sixth participant in the match. Unfortunately, Taylor didn’t last too long, as she was quickly eliminated by Natalya. Two Vixens, who were battling for the top spot, were Velvet Sky - a former Women’s Champion herself - and Maryse, who both eliminated two opponents each. Velvet’s final elimination was the one that counted most, as she dumped Maryse over the top rope to win; but it wasn’t without controversy, as Brie Bella assisted with sending Maryse to the concrete. Velvet Sky won a 6-Woman Battle Royal: X Sky threw out Daffney in 0:02:34. X Natalya threw out Taylor in 0:05:17. X Maryse threw out Nikki in 0:07:30. Angle says that the lie detector test is right, and that there is nothing he can say or do to dispute that; but he says that he wouldn’t, because he really does want Randy Orton out of the HWL. (crowd boos) Angle says that, with the way the test was going, two weeks ago, that no one will believe that he wasn’t behind the wheel. But, the fans can know that whatever his answer was, it was going to be the truth. Angle says that he was NOT driving the car that almost ended Orton’s career. (Crowd boos) Angle says he doesn’t need a car to end Orton’s career, because he has the ability to do it in the center of the ring. (crowd starts chanting for Orton) Angle says that the last month has been heartbreakingly slow for him, as he waits for Hostile Takeover, and the chance to finally end things with Orton once and for all. Angle says that, when the bell rings at Hostile Takeover, Randy Orton will wish that car would’ve hit him. (crowd boos) Angle leaves the ring as Anarchy goes to commercials. Commercial Break Tommy Dreamer/Steve Corino vs. © Chris Hero/David Otunga (w/Shane Hagadorn) (Non-Title Match)The Tag Team Champions were looking for an easy match tonight, just six days away from the title defense against Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry; but, what they got was much more. Dreamer and Corino, in their first match ever as a team, worked really well, fighting back with their hardcore mentality, to make the champs work if they wanted to pick up the win. This match went all over the ringside area, as both teams tried to outsmart the other, but in the end, it took a loaded elbow from Chris Hero - with the referee’s back turned - to pick up the victory. Eddie Edwards vs. © Tyson Kidd (Non-Title Match)Three weeks ago, Eddie Edwards pulled out an unbelievable upset, when he defeated Kidd in the center of the ring. For his efforts, he was awarded with a #1 Contenders Match against Alex Shelley, last week, that he ultimately lost. Tyson Kidd, however, was just coming off a week in which he watched Alex Shelley attack Bret Hart in Madrid, and used this match as a chance to get out his aggression; and to avenge his loss to Edwards three weeks earlier. Edwards put up a great fight - even locking Kidd in an abdominal stretch for 37 seconds! - but, Kidd used the images of last week to help fight through all the pain, hitting the Springboard Elbowdrop to pick up the 1-2-3. Tyson Kidd pinned Eddie Edwards with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:11:22. But, Punk says that he was simply doing what he needed to do to ensure that Sebei gave his best during their match this Sunday night. Punk says that he was, at one time, on the top of the world… a place where Sebei has yet to ascend. And because of that, simply stepping into the ring with him on Sunday night, will be a step down for Punk. But, Punk says he’s interested to see what happens tonight, so he will be taking a front-row seat. (crowd boos as Punk walks away, leaving Sebei shaking his head) Evan Bourne/Kaz/Rami Sebei/Ken Anderson vs. The Conglomerate (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea) (8-Man Elimination Match)All night long, the fans were filling the arena with anticipation, just waiting for these eight men to step inside the ring again, after the brawl that ended last week’s show. The match started with members of the Conglomerate doing everything they could to not square off against their respective opponents this Sunday night; but throughout the match, they just couldn’t avoid that possibility for long. The crowd went crazy as Evan Bourne tagged in Ken Anderson while AJ Styles got to his feet; and the look on Styles’s face was priceless when he saw who was in the ring with him! They battled it out, giving the fans a taste of what they will witness this Sunday night, as Styles threw Anderson to the outside. In an attempt to cause further damage, AJ attempted a plancha, but Anderson moved out of the way, as Styles crashed hard onto the concrete. Styles was counted out as the rest of The Conglomerate looked on. After a series of tags by both teams - and after a number of interferences by both Flair and Chelsea - Anderson found himself in the ring with Rob Terry, and the two of them fought toe-to-toe, as the crowd cheered on. Terry got the better of Anderson, using his size and strength to wear down the Number One Contender, but, Anderson was able to use his agility to counter a clothesline attempt into a crucifix to pick up the second elimination. This left Skip Sheffield and Matt Morgan as the only two members of the Conglomerate remaining. But, they were also the two biggest men in the match, and they used their size to make Anderson’s team work for everything they wanted. Sheffield manhandled Evan Bourne for the better part of the nine minutes they were in the ring together, but after Rami Sebei and Kaz even things up - as Bourne caught his breath - Kaz was able to hit the Wave of the Future on Sheffield. This allowed Bourne to climb to the top turnbuckle, and hit the Shooting Star Press to pick up the third elimination! Finally, with the deck stacked against Morgan, Flair and Chelsea pulled out all the stops to keep “The Blueprint” from being eliminated. As Bourne attempted another aerial move from the corner, Flair jumped onto the apron and pushed him to the concrete below, barely getting himself tossed from ringside, and costing his team the match. Morgan took advantage of the injured Bourne, and treated him like a rag doll. But, for everything Morgan threw at Bourne, he couldn’t put him away. Frustrated, Morgan was unaware of the tag to Rami Sebei, who with fresh legs, used his lucha background to take Morgan down. As seen earlier in the match, Morgan tried to make a comeback, only to have Sebei duck under a clothesline and execute a crucifix to pick up the final elimination, completing the sweep of The Conglomerate! Evan Bourne, Kaz, Rami Sebei & Ken Anderson beat The Conglomerate (AJ Styles, Matt Morgan, Rob Terry & Skip Sheffield) 4 falls to 0: X Anderson beat Styles via countout in 0:17:36. X Anderson beat R. Terry via a crucifix in 0:32:36. X E. Bourne beat Sheffield via the Shooting Star Press in 0:41:06. X R. Sebei beat M. Morgan via a crucifix in 0:50:12. HWL Hostile Takeover PPV September 18, 2011 American Airlines Center - Dallas, TX Attendance: 7,296 (38%) Daffney vs. © Brie Bella (Women’s Title Match)Brie and Daffney started off the match going back and forth, jockeying for position, starting where they left off from their match last month. Brie took over the match with some pretty nice offense, until Daffney connected with a stiff shot to Brie’s leg, that appeared to make her leg cramp instantly. Daffney then fed off Brie’s injury, focusing on the leg until Brie was unable to stand without help from the ropes. Daffney set Brie up on the top rope, and attempted a hurrancarana, but Brie was able to lock her good leg into the corner, as Daffney fell face-first into the canvas. Brie went for a quick cover, but only got a two-count before rolling out of the ring to walk off the pain. As she turned around a corner of the ring, Daffney came from the other side and clotheslined her to the concrete, leaving Brie to be counted out. But, Brie rolled back into the ring at the count of six, and Daffney connected with the Lobotomy; but Brie was able to get her foot on the ropes, breaking the pinfall. Daffney argued with the referee as Brie got to her feet, and as Daffney charged in, Brie pulled down the top rope, sending the “Demonic Princess” crashing onto the concrete. This gave Brie the chance to catch her bearings, and as Daffney rolled under the ropes, Brie grabbed her and hit the Bella Buster for the 1-2-3! Brie Bella pinned Daffney with the Bella Buster in 0:25:05. Rating: ** ½ (Brie Bella retained the HWL Women’s Title.)After the match, as Brie fell to the canvas, clutching the Women’s Title, VELVET SKY’s music hit. The crowd began cheering as the new #1 Contender made her way down to the ring as Brie struggled to get to her feet. Velvet entered the ring, and stood over Brie for a moment, before offering her hand - which garnered a huge pop from the crowd. After helping Brie to her feet, and celebrating her victory, Velvet kicked Brie in the midsection, before planting her with a DDT in the center of the ring! (Crowd boos) Velvet then left the ring, with a huge smile on her face, as the cameras go backstage… RIC FLAIR REPRIMANDS THE CONGLOMERATE Matt Morgan, Rob Terry, Skip Sheffield and Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles are seen sitting in their locker room, as Chelsea stands in the corner with her head down. RIC FLAIR walks into view and paces back and forth in front of them, shaking his head. Flair says that he has been in the professional wrestling business for more years than he can count, and that he has never been more embarrassed than he was last Monday night. Flair says that the four of them should be absolutely ashamed of themselves because of their performance at Anarchy. Flair says that he joined them all together, because he saw the prospect of them being the most dominant force in the HWL; and last Monday night, they couldn’t eliminate anyone from Ken Anderson’s team. Flair says that something has to change, tonight, or else he was going to make some tough decisions about everyone’s futures. Flair says that tonight, they can all make up for their atrocious showing by doing what they need to do to win tonight. Flair says that no one has more to lose tonight than AJ, before saying that if everyone else decides to take another night off, AJ is the one who’s back must carry all the weight. Flair leaves the room as the four men sit in silence. Evan Bourne vs. Matt Morgan (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)The plans for this match were set into motion, last month, during the 10-Man Battle Royal to determine who would face AJ Styles for the Heavyweight Title. While Bourne and “The Blueprint” were brawling, Flair pulled down the top rope, causing Bourne to topple over it and eliminate himself from the match. Tonight, Bourne was looking for an ounce of redemption, but only found himself outnumber as The Conglomerate wasted no time to get to ringside. After the verbal lashing they received from Flair, just minutes before the match, must have started a fire under their rears. Their intentions were good, but their execution was bad, as Skip Sheffield attempted to throw Morgan the ring bell. Bourne snatched it out of the air, and cracked the bell against the side of Morgan’s head - as the referee was dealing with Flair, who was making a scene on the apron. Flair, shocked, dropped from the apron, as Bourne made the cover, and the referee counted the 1-2-3. Evan Bourne pinned Matt Morgan after hitting him with the ring bell in 0:03:21. Rating: *** ½After the match, Bourne stood in the center of the ring, on guard, as the rest of the Conglomerate looked around, trying to see who was blaming them for what just happened. Rob Terry grabbed Morgan, and rolled him out of the ring, as Flair walked up the ramp shaking his head. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels commented on the fact that things weren’t getting off to a good start for Flair’s boys… SHEFFIELD & TERRY MAKE A PROMISE On their way to the ring, Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry are stopped by Alisha Hicks, and asked what their game plan is for tonight’s Tag Team Title Match. Terry says that, first things first, their goal is to regain the Tag Team Titles any way they can. He says that Chris Hero and David Otunga are unfit to call themselves Champions, and the that rightful champions will get their belts back tonight. Secondly, Terry says, that after being the one to cause Matt Morgan to lose his match, his personal goal is to make sure Ric Flair doesn’t get disappointed again. COMMENT FROM CM PUNK Ted Hanson caught up with CM Punk, as he was making his way through the backstage area, and asked for a reason for Punk’s attack on Rami Sebei at the end of Anarchy last Monday night. Punk starts off by saying that the past few weeks have been nothing but joy for him. He says that, outside of winning championship gold, getting inside of people’s minds is one of the best things he can do. He says that’s exactly what he did last Monday night - he got into Sebei’s head. He says he’s been doing it since the very beginning; and everyone knows it, even Rami. Punk says that he has made a living off of telling people the truth, whether they want to hear it or not. And, the truth is, that Rami Sebei - though he’s gotten lucky the last few weeks, after being grouped together with a successful team - has been an afterthought. Punk says that he’s on the way to the top, and tonight, he will get the satisfaction of beating the man who nearly became HWL Heavyweight Champion last month. Skip Sheffield/Rob Terry (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea) vs. © Chris Hero/David Otunga (w/Shane Hagadorn) (HWL Tag Team Title Match)The Tag Team Titles were on the line tonight, as the former champions - now aligned with The Conglomerate - tried to regain their belts from the upstart duo from PCW. From the onset of this match, it appeared that Ric Flair had learned his lesson from earlier in the evening, as he kept his distance from the action taking place in the ring, allowing Sheffield and Terry to fend for themselves. Knowing what was at stake, the former champions left everything inside the ring, but Hero and Otunga had just a little bit more to give, as Hero dropkicked Rob Terry over the top rope, sending him crashing onto the concrete below. At this point, Flair had seen enough, and demanded that Sheffield help Terry to his feet, and together with Chelsea, all four made their way up the ramp, and were counted out. Chris Hero & David Otunga defeated The Conglomerate (Rob Terry & Skip Sheffield) when Hero defeated R. Terry by countout in 0:11:03. Rating: *** (Chris Hero & David Otunga retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.)After the match, Hero and Otunga stand in the center of the ring, with the arms outstretched, in shock at what they just witnessed. Shane Hagadorn grabbed the Tag Team Titles, and brought them into the ring, as Josh Daniels mentioned that something doesn’t seem right about what’s going on with the Conglomerate tonight… RAMI SEBEI RESPONDS On his way to the ring, Rami Sebei is stopped by Ted Hanson, who asked for a response to CM Punk’s comments earlier in the evening. Sebei said that Punk does have a way of getting into people’s minds; a skill a lot of people think they can master, but only few truly can. Sebei says that he doesn’t want to take anything away from what Punk was able to accomplish elsewhere, but none of that matters now. He said that something still sticks in his mind, that Punk said, last Monday night. Punk said that Sebei would never be able to achieve the heights that Punk did during his time in the other company; but Sebei says that he doesn’t try to emulate himself after Punk. Sebei said that he did achieve a high that no one else thought he’d reach, last month, when he challenged AJ Styles for the vacant Heavyweight Title… and came within inches of being the top person in the HWL. Sebei says, for the time being, that’s something that Punk can’t say he has done, so in Sebei’s mind, that puts them at even standing heading into their match tonight, where the true winner will be the best wrestler inside the ring. TYSON KIDD ENTERS THE ARENA X-Division Champion, Tyson Kidd is seen entering the arena, walking side-by-side Bret “The Hitman” Hart. Alisha Hicks stops them, and says it’s an honor to meet “The Hitman”, before asking how Kidd is feeling about tonight’s match against Alex Shelley. Kidd says that there’s only one thing going through his mind, payback. Kidd says that Alex Shelley was way out of line, with what he did to Bret two weeks ago, and that tonight, there’s no limit to what sort of punishment Kidd can unleash. Alisha then asks Bret what his feelings for the match are, and Bret says that, even with what happened to him two weeks ago, he has nothing to do with this match. Bret says that he definitely wants to see Kidd retain the title, but that he is simply here to do commentary; he has no intentions on getting involved in any way. Alisha thanks them for their time as they walk away from the scene… Rami Sebei vs. CM PunkFor weeks, CM Punk and Rami Sebei had been going back and forth, bringing personal matters into their rivalry leading into tonight’s match. Sebei, coming off a highly regarded match against AJ Styles last month, took on the extradited former Heavyweight Champion of the WWE. In the lead-up to the match, it seemed like there was no defiant winner in the war of words; but when the bell rang tonight, Punk proved that he was going to take his time in the HWL a lot more serious than before. Punk destroyed Sebei from the onset, sending Sebei outside the ring, and using the ring steps as a weapon. Punk grabbed a steal chair and wrapped it around Sebei’s head, before rolling back into the ring, as the referee counted Sebei out. CM Punk defeated Rami Sebei by countout in 0:02:20. Rating: ** ¼After the match, Punk stood victorious on the turnbuckle, as the crowd showered him with boos. Punk jumped off the turnbuckle, with a smile on his face, and made his way up the ramp…ALEX SHELLEY COMMENTS Backstage, Alex Shelley tells Alisha Hicks that Tyson Kidd is just looking for sympathy by parading the washed-up fossil, Bret Hart, to the ring tonight. Shelley says that all Kidd is trying to do is get people to feel bad for him - and for Bret Hart - after Shelley’s actions two weeks ago. Shelley says that he doesn’t believe that Hart won’t be a factor in tonight’s match, because more than anything, “The Hitman” will want a piece of Shelley. He says that, if that’s the case, “The Hitman” can wait until after Shelley becomes the new X-Division Champion, because tonight Shelley is going to show Bret - and the rest of the Hart family - how much of a disgrace Tyson Kidd really is. KURT ANGLE GETS READY Ted Hanson is seen, standing in front of Kurt Angle’s dressing room, when “The Olympic Gold Medalist” exits. When asked about the allegations and public opinion towards him, Angle says that he doesn’t worry about any of that, because he knows he’s innocent. Though, Angle says that he wished things would’ve ended differently for Randy Orton, that’s not the case. Angle says that he can’t wait to get his hands on Orton, tonight; because it’s been something he’s wanted for a very long time. Just then, Angle’s phone begins to ring. He answers the phone, and listens for a moment, before ending the call and telling Ted that the interview is finished. Angle walks away as Ted looks on… Alex Shelley vs. © Tyson Kidd (X-Division Title Match)As promised, Bret “The Hitman” Hart was at the announce table for this match, being questioned about the attack at the hands of Alex Shelley, just two weeks ago, and what feelings of revenge were racing through Hart’s head. Hart said that he wanted to focus on the match, because he didn’t want to miss a single thing that Tyson Kidd had in-store for Alex Shelley. Shelley had the upper hand at the beginning of the match, as he quickly took Kidd outside the ring; he made a point to slam Kidd’s head into the announce table, before sharing words with Hart. Shelley kept up the assault on Kidd, as the fight was taken over the barricade and into the crowd, with Shelley attempting the Air Raid Crash onto the bare concrete, but Kidd was able to counter the move. Kidd took over, still behind the barricade, and brought the match back to ringside. Hart laid into Shelley with some high-flying offense, getting some words of encouragement from “The Hitman” in the process. Shelley ducked a spinning heel kick, and went back on the attack, going after Kidd’s knees. Shelley did, and used, whatever he could to do as much damage as possible, to limit Kidd’s ability to get air. Kidd rolled out of the ring, after taking the onslaught, but Shelley was right there, and he whipped Kidd into the announce table, knocking Bret Hart out of his chair! Furious, Hart got to his feet as he and Shelley got into a verbal argument. Kidd used the distraction to grab Shelley and whip him into the ring steps. Kidd landed a number of stomps before rolling Shelley back into the ring. The match continued for a short time, until Hart connected with a DDT. As Shelley slowly got to his feet, Kidd jumped off the ropes, and connected with the Springboard Elbowdrop to pick up the 1-2-3! Tyson Kidd pinned Alex Shelley with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:29:15. Rating: *** ½ (Tyson Kidd retained the HWL X-Division Title.)After the match, Kidd stood in the ring, as Bret Hart entered to give him the X-Division Title. The two of them shared words, and the crowd groaned with anticipation as “The Hitman” grabbed Shelley’s legs and locked in the Sharpshooter, torquing back, as Shelley slapped the canvas in submission. Hart finally released the hold, as the crowd went crazy. Kidd and Hart left the ring, making their way up the ramp, as the camera went backstage… RANDY ORTON COMMENT Backstage, Ted Hanson tells Randy Orton about the comments made by Kurt Angle earlier in the evening. Orton says that he’s known Angle for a long time, and that he knows that in his mind, Angle truly believes his free of guilt. Orton says that, deep down, Angle knows he’s not innocent, but that none of that really matters tonight. Orton says that he doesn’t really care about the accident anymore. Yes, he wants to find who was responsible for it, but tonight is what he’s really been waiting for: the chance to get into the ring with Angle, and make him pay for the last month of Orton’s life… AJ STYLES MAKES A PROMISE Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles and Ric Flair are seen walking through the backstage area, as Flair repeats how frustrated he is with all the losing he has seen this evening. Styles stops and says that he didn’t win the Heavyweight Title by being lucky. Styles says that he proved, last month, that even on short notice, he can beat anyone in the HWL. Styles tells Flair to forget about all the other losses tonight, because watching Styles beat Ken Anderson tonight will be the best victory for everyone involved in the Conglomerate. Styles promises that he will not let Flair down. Kurt Angle vs. Randy OrtonThe rivalry between these two men has been well documented throughout the short history of the HWL. They have battled it out in various types of matches, often trying to inflict any sort of damage they could on each other. At Unbreakable, Randy Orton was nearly forced to retire from the injuries he suffered as the victim in a hit-and-run accident. The man who was alleged to have been behind the wheel, Kurt Angle, denied having anything to do with the incident, but said that he wouldn’t care if Orton was retired. Tonight, they finally stepped into the ring, for a match that the entire fan base of the HWL was waiting for. They gave this match everything they had, taking each other to the limit, and using everything in sight to gain the upper hand. Kurt Angle locked in the Ankle Lock submission, but Orton fought through it - for nearly 90 seconds - before grabbing the bottom rope. Orton would spend the rest of the match limping on the injured ankle. But, even the sore ankle wouldn’t stop Orton from fighting back against Angle, until he was finally able to connect with an RKO in the center of the ring. Orton made the cover, and the referee counted the three, before the arena exploded in cheers. Randy Orton pinned Kurt Angle with the RKO in 0:14:36. Rating: ***After the match, as Orton celebrated his victory, a fan jumped the over the barricade and entered the ring behind Orton. As Orton turned around, he was met with a flying shoulder tackle. The unnamed man, then picked Orton up and executed a scoop lift sitout power bomb in the center of the ring! The crowd looked on in shock as the unnamed man grabbed Kurt Angle and dragged him out of the ring. Together, they made their way up the ramp as the camera focused in on the prone body of Randy Orton. ANDERSON IS CONFIDENT Just moments before he heads out to the ring, Ken Anderson tells Alisha Hicks that he has never been more prepared for a match than he is tonight. Anderson says that he gets a chance to prove to everyone that he is as good - if not better - than AJ Styles; but the only way to do that is to walk away with the Heavyweight Title. And tonight, for the first time in a while, Anderson says that he knows that’s exactly what he’s capable of. Anderson walks away as Alisha looks on. “Back For More” by Five Finger Death Punch plays as a video preview for DOWNFALL is shown. DOWNFLL will take place, live, from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri on October 23, 2011. Ken Anderson vs. © AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea) (HWL Heavyweight Title Match)After being ousted from The Conglomerate, for what Ric Flair called “not being a team player”, Ken Anderson made it his goal to prove everyone - including AJ Styles - a lesson. After nearly becoming Tag Team Champions - for which their failure to do so was put on Anderson - Styles came out, claiming to be the best wrestler in the HWL. Anderson had every reason to believe that the only way to prove his former partner, and the rest of the Conglomerate wrong, was to beat Styles for the Heavyweight Title. Tonight, he was given that chance, but for whatever reason: nerves, pressure or the outside presence of Flair and Chelsea, Anderson just wasn’t able to get the job done. Clearly having learned his lesson from earlier in the night, Flair again, chose not to interfere in the match, allowing Anderson and Styles to settle things on their own. In the end, Styles connected with the Styles Clash to pick up the victory, and successfully retain the HWL Heavyweight Title. AJ Styles pinned Ken Anderson with the Styles Clash in 0:08:59. Rating: **** (AJ Styles retained the HWL Heavyweight Title.)After the match, Styles, Flair and Chelsea exited the ring, celebrated the win; and were joined on the stage by the other members of the Conglomerate. Hostile Takeover went off the air with Styles, standing in the center of the group, holding the Heavyweight Title high in the air.Card rating: *** ¼

Monday Night Anarchy September 19, 2011 Heart O’ Texas Coliseum - Waco, TX Attendance: 7,290 (81%) A RUINED CELEBRATION The Conglomerate makes their way out to the ring, as “Anarchy” begins, with AJ Styles - with the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder - leading the way. In the ring, before anyone can say anything, Ric Flair grabs the microphone and says even though AJ retained the Heavyweight Title last night, he was still very disappointed in the way the evening went. Flair says that, if anyone was paying attention, there was something different about them tonight: Skip Sheffield was no longer associated with them. Flair says that after Sheffield was behind Matt Morgan losing to Evan Bourne, and not regaining the Tag Team Titles, Flair had no other choice but to get rid of him. Flair says that if the others don’t want to be like Sheffield, that they better their s*** together. Then, hearing enough, AJ grabs the microphone and tells Flair to calm down. Styles says that he understands Flair is upset - and that he is too - but, instead of causing a scene over something that could be settled backstage, they should be out here celebrating that Styles proved, once again, that he is the only elite athlete on the HWL Roster… Quickly Styles is interrupted as CODY RHODES appears on-stage, to a tremendous ovation. Rhodes tells AJ that he’s been watching him over the past few months, and that it’s really a shame he wasn’t the one to face AJ in that Ladder Match at Unbreakable; or that he wasn’t in the ring with AJ last night. Rhodes says that all the doctors and all the trainers have cleared him to come back to active competition; and that there was only one thing on his mind: winning back the Heavyweight Title that Styles never beat him for. Rhodes says that Peter Bradshaw has always agreed to the match, and at DOWNFALL, Rhodes will challenge AJ for the HWL Heavyweight Title! Rhodes walks away from the stage, while AJ looks on stunned. In the background, the rest of the Conglomerate look around as Flair stomps around the ring like a madman. Rami Sebei vs. Jeff HardyJust 24 hours after coming off a loss to CM Punk, Rami Sebei started off tonight’s Anarchy not knowing who his opponent was going to be. When the lights in the arena went out, followed by the familiar music of Jeff Hardy, the roof blew off the Coliseum! After the bell sounded, Sebei and Hardy put on a clinic, that had the audience on the edge of their seats. Sebei tried to put Hardy away with the Brainbustah early on in the match, but Hardy was able to kick out. Hardy was able to even the field as he connected with the Swanton Bomb later in the match, but Sebei got his foot on the rope to break up the count. The match continued to be a back-and-forth contest until Sebei hit his second Brainbustah, in the center of the ring, to pick up the 1-2-3. Rami Sebei pinned Jeff Hardy with the Brainbustah in 0:12:29. Rating: **** 1/4 After the match, the crowd was on its feet cheering, as Sebei helped Hardy to his feet. They shook hands before Hardy left the ring, letting Sebei enjoy his victory. Commercial BreakComing back from the break, Ted Hanson catches up with JEFF HARDY, as he walks backstage. Hanson welcomes Hardy to the HWL, and says that he and Sebei may have set the bar for the rest of the matches tonight. Hardy says that it’s great to be in the HWL, and that he owes Peter Bradshaw a huge amount of gratitude for allowing him a second chance to do what he loves to do. Hardy says that he’s had his troubles, in the past, but that he feels like they are truly behind him. Hardy says that, what the HWL fans just witnessed, proves that there is a lot left in his tank, and that he has a lot more to prove. A NEW SIDE REVEALED Backstage, Velvet Sky is seen making her way towards the stage, when she is approached by Alisha Hicks. Alisha questions Velvet on her actions last night at Hostile Takeover, attacking Brie Bella after her match. Velvet says that, for so long, she had tried to do everything the right way; that she had always gone by the rules, and worked hard to earn everything she has ever gotten in the wrestling business. But, after her feud with Daffney, and watching Daffney - not herself - get title shot after title shot, Velvet said that she needed to change; and last night, she made sure everyone knew what her intentions were. Velvet said that the people who want something, nowadays, don’t work for it. They take it. She says she earned her right to challenge for the Women’s Title, but that she wasn’t going to sit by and wait for Brie Bella to come to her. Velvet says that she’s going to keep coming after Brie, and that she’s going to take the Women’s Title from her. Velvet says that if anyone has a problem with her mean side, that they can kiss her perfect little ass. Maryse vs. Velvet SkyLast night, Velvet Sky came out and appeared to help Brie Bella after her title defense against Daffney, only to stab the Women’s Champion in the back! Tonight, Sky said that her newfound nasty *** ¼side is what will help here regain the Women’s Title at DOWNFALL. Tonight, however, Velvet had to step into the ring with Maryse, who has shown a tendency to have her own nasty side. Both Vixens let their respective dirty sides out tonight, as Velvet was nearly disqualified for choking Maryse against the ropes; and Maryse kept the match alive, by throwing Velvet out of the ring by her hair. But, in the end, Velvet was able to hit the Beauty Mark, and pick up the 1-2-3. Velvet Sky pinned Maryse with the Beauty Mark in 0:05:42. Rating: ½*After the match, Velvet rolled out of the ring, and made her way up the ramp, where she continued to celebrate her victory as “Anarchy” went to commercials…Commercial BreakAN INTRODUCTION IS MADE Kurt Angle’s music plays as “Anarchy” returns, sending the crowd into a frenzy, as they boo the “Olympic Gold Medalist” as he walks to the ring. Angle says that he knows very well that he last to Randy Orton last night, and that, being a man of integrity, he congratulates Orton on being the better man. But, Angle says that there was a silver lining to his loss last night, and that was watching Randy Orton suffer at the hands of a man that Angle had quickly become friends with. Angle then introduces Martin Maldonado to the crowd. As Maldonado walks to the ring, the crowd boos him for attacking Orton last night, at Hostile Takeover. Inside the ring, Maldonado thanks Angle for the introduction, before telling the crowd that Angle is a man of his word; and that all the people that believe Angle was the one behind the wheel of the car that hit Randy Orton are foolish. Maldonado says that he was, in fact, the man driving the car last month. Maldonado said that if he did a favor for Angle, that Angle would return the favor. Maldonado says that he’s sorry Angle lost last night, but promises that Randy Orton has not seen the last of him. This brings out Orton, who storms down to the ring, and begins brawling with both Angle and Maldonado. Orton is quickly over-matched, but fights his way back, throwing Angle over the top rope before clothes lining Maldonado to the canvas. As Maldonado gets to his feet, Orton whips him into the ropes and connects with a quick power slam, before calling for the RKO. As Maldonado slowly gets to his feet, Angle grabs him by the foot, pulling him out of the ring, before Orton can strike. Angle and Maldonado walk up the ramp, as Orton stares at them, fuming. “Anarchy” goes to commercials… Commercial BreakThe Conglomerate (Matt Morgan & Rob Terry) (w/Chelsea & Ric Flair) vs. © Chris Hero & David Otunga (w/Shane Hagadorn) (Non-Title Match)After coming up short last night in their bid to regain the Tag Team Titles, among other factors, Ric Flair decided to let Skip Sheffield go from The Conglomerate after Hostile Takeover. Tonight, Flair paired Rob Terry with “The Blueprint” Matt Morgan, to his luck with the new combination of picking up a victory over the Tag Team Champions. Moments after the match began, AJ STYLES made his way to ringside, and wasted no time getting involved in the match. Soon, Flair himself, got involved but it wasn’t enough to give Terry and Morgan any sort of advantage. At the end of the match, David Otunga went for the cover, only to have AJ Styles pull him off of Terry. Chris Hero jumped off the apron and chased Styles away from ringside as Otunga hit The Verdict for the 1-2-3. Chris Hero & David Otunga defeated Matt Morgan & Rob Terry when D. Otunga pinned R. Terry with the Verdict in 0:14:34. Rating: ** ¾After the match, Otunga stood guard in the center of the ring, as Flair, Chelsea and Matt Morgan stared in his direction. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels stated that the situation doesn’t seem any closer to resolving itself.Commercial BreakComing back from the break, Ted Hanson is seen with Peter Bradshaw. Bradshaw says that, based on the events that have taken place over the past 24 hours, there will be a four team tournament scheduled to name the new #1 Contenders for the Tag Team Titles. Bradshaw says that the tournament will begin next week, on Anarchy, and the winners will face Chris Hero and David Otunga at DOWNFALL. A preview for DOWNFALL is shown, with “Back For More” by Five Finger Death Punch playing in the background. It is announced that Cody Rhodes will challenge AJ Styles for the Heavyweight Title at the event. DOWNFALL will be live, October 23, 2011, from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Evan Bourne vs. Adam ColeTwenty-four hours after picking up a huge upset - with some unintended help from The Conglomerate - Evan Bourne returned to the X-Division to take on Adam Cole, who has set himself up nicely to be the next challenger for Tyson Kidd and the X-Division Title. Both men put on a fast-paced match that, even contested under no-DQ rules, saw very little use of any foreign objects. The match went back and forth, inside and outside the ring, until both men kept their brawl on the outside, ignoring the referee’s 10-count, and getting themselves counted out. Evan Bourne and Adam Cole battled to a double countout in 0:14:27. Rating: ** ¾After the match, the referee jumped out of the ring, and separated both men as the crowd gave them a respectful cheer for the match they put on. Commercial BreakColt Cabana vs. © AJ Styles (w/Chelsea & Ric Flair) (Non-Title Match)AJ Styles was back in the ring tonight, after defeated Ken Anderson to retain the Heavyweight Title, at Hostile Takeover. Tonight, Colt Cabana got his chance to step into the ring with the Heavyweight Champion; and Colt surprised a lot of people - including the champion - with the way he handled himself in the main event. The match went back and forth, with Cabana getting a lot of offense throughout, wearing down the champion enough to hit the Colt .45, but Styles was too close the ropes, and was able to break the count. As the match continued, Styles started to figured out Colt’s offense, and began reversing his way out of many of Cabana’s holds, eventually getting the better of him. Styles connected with the Styles Clash to pick up the victory. AJ Styles pinned Colt Cabana with the Styles Clash in 0:15:14. Rating: **** ½After the match, Styles, Flair and Chelsea celebrated in the center of the ring, as Cody Rhodes appeared on-stage, applauding Styles’ performance. Both men stare at each other, from across the arena, as “Anarchy” goes off the air.Card rating: *** ¼ HWL DOWNFALL PPV - 10/23/11 - Kansas City, MOHeavyweight Title Match: Cody Rhodes vs. (c) AJ Styles

Monday Night Anarchy September 26, 2011 EnergySolutions Arena - Salt Lake City, UT Attendance: 13,200 (66%) PUNK PREDICTS THE FUTURE Ken Anderson started off the show by coming down to the ring and admitting that he didn’t get the job done against AJ Styles. Anderson says that he can’t blame Ric Flair; he couldn’t blame Chelsea; and he couldn’t blame any other member of the Conglomerate for costing him the match; that the only person he could blame was himself. Anderson said that Styles proved he was better for one night, and that if they were to do it all over again, the results would be different. But, before Anderson could finish his thought, CM PUNK’s music hit, as Punk made his way to the stage. Punk sat down at the end of the ramp, and said that neither he nor the people in the arena wanted to hear Anderson come out and describe all the things they saw with their very own eyes. Punk said that, by coming out to the ring, Anderson was just making things harder on himself. Punk said that reliving the pain of losing in the main event of a pay-per-view, and the knowledge that he couldn’t get revenge on his former tag team partner, was only going to keep Anderson from ever experiencing success inside the ring. But, Punk said that he, himself, couldn’t resist the opportunity to strike while the iron was hot. Punk said that, unlike Anderson, he was successful in his match at “Hostile Takeover”. Punk admits that he won by countout, but said that a win’s a win, and he’ll take them however he can get them. Punk said that the pay-per-view was the moment in time when he realized that, one day, his and Anderson’s paths were going to cross. Punk said that he was on his way up the ladder, getting closer to closer to becoming the man who leads the HWL for the next generation; whereas Anderson was on his way down the ladder, closer and closer to becoming an afterthought in the public’s mind. Punk said that he had to take advantage of what he saw before him, because if he didn’t, Anderson might soon be out of a job. (Hearing this, Anderson starts fuming inside the ring, pacing back and forth.) Punk said that it seemed Anderson still had some fight left in him, and that he would love to be the one who handed Anderson a defeat in what could be one of his last matches. Punk said that, if Anderson were willing to accept his challenge, they would face each other at “Downfall”. Without hesitation, Anderson accepted the match, saying that Punk was going to regret everything he had just said. Punk, getting to his feet, told Anderson that he looks forward to regretting those words, but said he doesn’t have anything to worry about. Punk then left the stage, as the camera zoomed in on a disgusted Anderson. Commercial BreakBrutus Magnus vs. Jeff HardyJeff Hardy shocked the world of professional wrestling, last week, when he debuted on Anarchy against Rami Sebei. This week, Hardy stepped into the ring with Brutus Magnus, who is hoping to regain the status he once had as a former Tag Team Champion months ago. Hardy started the match off quick, with a lot of energy - even bringing a chair into the ring and using it to hit a flying leg drop on Magnus. Magnus, however, was able to turn things around, and quickly grounded Hardy with a series of submission moves. The match made its way outside the ring, where Magnus used the ring post to his advantage, but Hardy still had enough to reverse Magnus into the guardrail. But, the daredevil tactics only hindered Hardy, as he attempted a Swanton Bomb to the concrete, only to have Magnus move out of the ring. Back in the ring, Magnus went to work on Hardy, but didn’t break a boot choke as the referee counted to five, getting himself disqualified. Jeff Hardy defeated Brutus Magnus by disqualification in 0:07:40. Rating: ** ¼After the match, Magnus continued to assault Hardy until RAMI SEBEI ran down to the ring and made the save. Magnus fumed, as he made his way up the ramp, while Sebei’s sole focus was making sure Hardy was OK. Commercial BreakSTYLES & FLAIR PLEAD THEIR CASE Coming back from the commercial break, Ted Hanson is seen with Peter Bradshaw who, after seeing the events that just unfolded, makes a match for next week between Rami Sebei and Brutus Magnus. As the crowd cheers the announcement, the interview is interrupted as AJ STYLES and RIC FLAIR confront Bradshaw. Styles says that Cody Rhodes had no right to show up last week and name himself the challenger for the World Title. Styles demands that Bradshaw name someone else as the #1 Contender, or else Styles will not show up at Downfall to defend the title. (crowd boos) Bradshaw looks at Styles and Flair, and says that intimidation has no effect on him, because they are forgetting who signs their checks. Bradshaw says that Rhodes does have a right to challenge for the title, because he never officially lost it; and if Styles plans on no-showing the pay-per-view because of that, then Bradshaw says that he could begin looking for a new line of work. Styles and Flair look shocked at Bradshaw’s answers as the owner walks back to his office… Taylor Wilde vs. © Brie Bella (Non-Title Match)Taylor Wilde made her in-ring singles debut tonight, after being introduced to the HWL crowd a couple weeks ago at the Hostile Takeover pay-per-view. She had the tough task of taking on the Women’s Champion, who was coming off a very hard-fought victory over Daffney at the same pay-per-view. Wilde showed some strong offense from the on-set, but having been away from the ring for a while, she showed a little rust, and Brie was able to take advantage of that. Brie was able to connect with the Brie Buster to pick up the victory. After the match, VELVET SKY appeared on the ramp, and applauded Brie’s victory. Velvet then pulls a microphone out of the back of her tights, and says that Brie shouldn’t be too excited about her win tonight, because Taylor Wilde isn’t anywhere near the type of competitor that Velvet is. Wilde, slowly gathering her bearings outside the ring, looks at Velvet oddly, and Velvet takes it as a challenge, claiming that she will prove it next week, in a one-on-one match. Velvet then leaves the stage as the crowd looks on in wonder…Commercial BreakComing back from the commercial break, the camera shows STEVER CORINO and EDDIE EDWARDS on the floor, surrounded by HWL personnel, slowly trying to get back to their feet. From the broadcast table, Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels explain that, as everyone was preparing for tonight’s first match-up in the #1 Contender’s tournament, that Matt Morgan and Rob Terry viciously attacked Corino and Edwards backstage. A video is played of the attack. When the video ends, Josh announces that Peter Bradshaw has called off the match for this week, insisting that it take place next Monday night; and that Bradshaw, himself, would be at ringside. Bradshaw also announces that both Matt Morgan and Rob Terry would be banned from the building next week; and if any member of the Conglomerate interferes in next week’s match, they would be fired on the spot. Back at ringside, RANDY ORTON’S music begins to play, as “the Viper” makes his way to the ring. Orton says that, unlike himself, the fans weren’t able to sniff out the lies that Kurt Angle was telling them for weeks leading up to their match at Hostile Takeover. (crowd groans) Orton says that he doesn’t blame the fans, because for years, Angle has shoved down their throats the ideal that he was someone that the fans could look up to. Orton says that Angle had all the fans fooled, and that it was easy to do because everyone loved him when he was Heavyweight Champion; and that Angle held them in the palm of his hands. But, Orton says, that Angle showed that he wasn’t able to listen to his own lies of “integrity, intelligence and intensity”. Orton said that he had been saying for weeks that Angle was behind the attack, whether he was behind the wheel or not; and that that came to light at Hostile Takeover, when he was attacked by Martin Maldonado after the match. Orton says that he already did what he said he was going to - by beating Kurt Angle - and that now it was time to move on to teaching Maldonado a lesson for getting involved with Angle. Orton then leaves the ring as the crowd cheers. Commercial BreakAs “Anarchy” comes back from commercials, Alisha Hicks is seen with Alex Shelley, who says that he truly believes he deserves another shot at the X-Division Title, and blames Bret Hart for costing him a chance at winning the title. Shelley is interrupted as Adam Cole enters the shot. Cole says that Shelley could blame whoever he wants, but that in the end, he was the one who had his shoulders pinned to the canvas. But, Cole says, as the self-imposed #1 Contender for the X-Division Title, he would be willing to put his title shot on the line, if Shelley thought he could beat him for it. Shelley quickly agreed to the match and walked away, as Cole looked on shaking his head. Colt Cabana vs. © Tyson Kidd (Non-Title Match)Coming off a match last week, against AJ Styles, Colt Cabana stepped into the ring against the X-Division Champion, Tyson Kidd. Kidd started off the match with a quick burst of offense, but Cabana was able to reverse the action and nearly pick up a pinfall over the champion. The match eventually went outside the ring, where Cabana whipped Kidd into the guardrail, before attempted the Colt .45, which Kidd was able to roll out of. Back inside the ring, Cabana kept up the offense, until Kidd shocked him with a spinning heel kick. Kidd then connected with the Springboard Elbowdrop to pick up the victory. Tyson Kidd pinned Colt Cabana with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:10:07. Rating: *** ½Commercial BreakA preview is shown for the next pay-per-view event, DOWNFALL. “Back For More” by Five Finger Death Punch plays as the matches are announced for the event. DOWNFALL will take place on October 23rd, from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Alex Shelley vs. Ken Anderson After getting into a verbal confrontation with CM PUNK at the start of the show, Ken Anderson - coming off a close loss to AJ STYLES at Hostile Takeover - stepped into the ring with Alex Shelley tonight. Anderson looked good as the match started, but he fell victim to his own paranoia, when Styles made his way onto the ramp, allowing Shelley to take advantage of the match. Shelley brought Anderson outside the ring, whipping him into the guardrail before hitting the Sliced Bread #2 on the concrete floor! The match continued, after Shelley rolled Anderson back into the ring, and was only able to get a two-count. Anderson was able to make a comeback, and as Shelley attempted another Sliced Bread #2, Anderson connected with a reverse neck breaker out of nowhere! Anderson made the cover for the 1-2-3! Ken Anderson pinned Alex Shelley after a reverse neck breaker in 0:15:10. Rating: *** ¾ [AJ Styles interfered against Ken Anderson.]After the match, Styles stood stunned atop the ramp, looking on at the scene inside the ring. As Styles stood there, looking at Anderson celebrate, CM PUNK appeared on-stage next to him, folding his arms against his chest. Punk nods to Styles after the Champion realizes his presence, before applauding Anderson’s victory. Inside the ring, Anderson’s celebration stops as he notices Punk standing on the stage. He motions for Punk to join him in the ring, but Punk waves his hand to say “no”, before turning to head backstage; but before Punk can leave the scene, PETER BRADSHAW appears with a microphone. Bradshaw says that, due to the actions that took place tonight, he would be scheduling a tag team match for next week’s main event. (crowd cheers) Bradshaw says that Punk and Styles would team up to face Anderson and - since Alex Shelley was already schedule for action - a partner of his choosing. Bradshaw then left the stage, as Anderson looked on, smiling, while “Anarchy” went off the air. Card rating: ***

Comments from Hostile Takeover:
Brie and Daffney put in some work with Brie retaining. The big news is Velvet's turn. Heel or face, Velvet has always been entertaining.
With the miscue and loss for Matt Morgan I get the feeling a lot worse is yet to come for the Conglomerate tonight. Which is bad because I really don't want Anderson to beat AJ later.
Interesting finish for the Tag Team Championship match. Flair, so irate with the struggling team of Terry & Sheffield basically throws in the towel for them. Flair has a very short fuse tonight.l
Wow did Punk ever make a statement tonight. If Rami takes this kind of loss and simply moves on I'll be shocked.
Kidd gets a huge rub bringing in Bret Hart and glad to see Hart lock in the Sharpshooter at the end. Kidd can only go up from here but I'm not sure where Shelley ends up. Does he have it him to continue with the heat he had?
Orton showed some incredible determination fighting through the ankle lock and winning the match. Masked man attacks?!? And since when does Angle need to have someone avenge him?
So glad to see Styles regain, especially after what his stable went through all night. I don't think his win alone is enough to convince Flair that The Conglomerate is a formidable force as is stands.
Anarchy comments:
Cody is back! Now there's someone I can get behind!
Martin Maldonado introduced as Angle's masked man. A quick google search reveals that he is actually a major league baseball player. I doubt that's who you are implying this is, but is he a real guy you rebranded or a fictional guy?
Hero & Otunga are such a strange combination but the more I read about them in your circuit the more I cheer for them.
One hell of a match put on by Colt & AJ. Colt looked VERY good here. Wouldn't be surprised to see Colt rise in the card after a match like that.
Punk climbing the ladder by going through Anderson is great in my book. Anything to knock Anderson down in the card has my approval.
Rami & Hardy seem to have formed an alliance. Still can't believe Rami has moved on from that loss to Punk at the PPV.
Colt again puts up another great match against a Champion. He's being pushed as a guy that can hang with the Champions but just barely comes up short every time.
Interesting end to the show with Anderson being allowed to choose his partner to face Styles. If I had to pick, the obvious choice for me would be Rami. Colt Cabana could be a sleeper choice as well.

Thanks for the feedback. To answer your questions, yes, Maldonado is rebranded from PCW. IT's actually Homicide. I'm just trying it out to see what I can do with it. Might be the only one I rebrand, but I'm not sure...

Monday Night Anarchy Kibbie Dome (University of Idaho) - Moscow, Idaho Attendance: 10,240 (64%)
HWL opening. "Headstrong" blast through the air as fireworks light up the Kibbie Dome, on the campus of the University of Idaho. Fans and students pack the Dome, holding up signs for their favorite wrestlers, and for the Vandals. Josh Daniels and Scott Micheals run down the matches for tonight's event, but is soon interrupted as CM Punk's music blasts through the air.
Dressed in his ring gear and a black t-shirt, Punk makes his way to the ring, amidst a chorus of boos from the crowd. Inside the ring, he smiles and gives the crowd a "thumbs down", causing more boos. Punk tells the crowd to boo as loud as they want, because he doesn't care what they think of him. Punk says that the crowd is lucky to even see him, because he still wonders why Peter Bradshaw agreed to do a show in a town where it's inhabitants don't even know where they are. Punk says that Moscow, Idaho is known for two things, and neither of them are attractiveness or hygiene. (Crowd boos…) Punk says that he considered boycotting the tag team match tonight, because he didn't think the people of Moscow deserved to see him in action; but, he says that two things made up his mind: a paycheck the likes of no one in Moscow would see in their entire lives, and the chance to get his hands on Ken Anderson before DOWNFALL. (Crowds starts an "Anderson!" chant…)
Hearing the chants, Punk asks the crowd why they cheer for a man like Anderson. Punk says that they are wasting their time, because, Anderson isn't worth the breath they're using to cheer for him. Punk tells the crowd that, throughout his career, Anderson had been nothing more than second-best. Punk says Anderson was given every chance the brass in the WWE could give him, but he just wasn't able to carry the ball; and that he was unprofessional and unsafe inside the ring… just ask Randy Orton. (Crowd boos again…) Punk says that Anderson should've been finished after that, because he was a hazard inside the ring, but the "hillbillies" in TNA decided to put their top title on Anderson, which just made a mockery of everything Punk - and other dedicated wrestlers - have worked their entire lives for. Punk says he's not worried about facing Anderson inside the ring, because he's been hurt plenty of times, doing what he loves. In fact, he says, Punk can't wait to face Anderson at DOWNFALL, because Anderson will be another stepping stone for Punk to use on his way to the HWL Heavyweight Title. (Crowd boos as Punk drops the microphone and makes an "X", in the air, with his arms…)
Commercial Break
Brutus Magnus vs. Rami Sebei
This match was made, last week, after Sebei came to the save of Jeff Hardy, stopping Magnus’s assault on the newcomer. Tonight, Magnus came out strong, looking to avenge the embarrassment from last week, and finish taking out the aggression he showed against Hardy. Magnus was able to do just that, but Rami showed the resolve that the fans have come to expect from him, as he stayed in the match. Sebei was able to connect with a 450 splash, but Magnus kicked out after a two-count. Rami stayed on the attack, and was able to roll Magnus up, with an inside cradle, to pick up an upset victory!
Rami Sebei pinned Brutus Magnus after an inside cradle in 0:12:18. Rating: ** ½
After the match, Magnus quickly gets to his feet and pushes down the referee out of frustration. The crowd boos as Magnus kicks the referee out of the ring, and turns his attention to Sebei, attacking him from behind with a forearm to the back. Magnus assaults Sebei, as JEFF HARDY runs down to the ring, and breaks up the attack! Hardy and Magnus begin to brawl, as Sebei slowly gets to his feet. Sebei and Hardy gain the upper hand on Magnus, throwing him over the top rope, sending him crashing onto the concrete. Sebei and Hardy stand, ready to fight, as the crowd cheers them on. Magnus slams his hands against the canvas, points at the two of them, and walks up the ramp as ANARCHY goes to commercials.
Commerical Break
Returning from the break, the camera shows RANDY ORTON walking through the backstage area, dressed in street clothes. Out of nowhere, Orton is blindsided by MARTIN MALDONADO, who attacks Orton with a 2x4. (Crowd boos…) Maldonado continues the assualt, snapping the 2x4 over Orton's back, as "The Viper" screams out in pain. Maldonado then brings Orton to his feet, before whipping him into a service door, denting the metal. Maldonado runs towards Orton, but Orton moves out of the way, and Maldonado goes crashing through the door. Orton gets in a few good shots to the back and head of Maldonado, but the comeback is short-lived as KURT ANGLE takes out Orton's leg with a chop block. (Crowd continues to boo…) Both Angle and Maldonado land numerous kicks into Orton's body, before Angle picks Orton's up, locking his arms behind him. Orton tries to struggle out of the hold, but Maldonado connects with a stiff overhand punch to the top of Orton's head! Maldonado steps back and grabs a chain that broke off from the service door, and wraps it around his fist, before landing another stiff overhand punch to Orton. Angle drops Orton to the concrete, as blood pours from the open wound on his head. Angle and Maldonado walk away as Orton lies there, motionless…
Taylor Wilde vs. Velvet Sky
Taylor Wilde stepped into the ring tonight, a week after being challenged by the number one contender for the Women’s Title, hoping to prove her wrong and weakened Velvet’s ego heading into DOWNFALL. Taylor was able to hold her own throughout the match, but ended up the victim of a picture-perfect DDT, as Velvet picked up the victory tonight.
Velvet Sky pinned Taylor Wilde after a DDT in 0:08:54. Rating: ** ¼
After the match, Velvet slowly gets up to her feet, before celebrating her victory as the crowd rains boos upon her. Velvet makes the motions for everyone to kiss her rear, before leaving the ring, causing the jeers to only get louder.
Commercial Break
CODY RHODES'music blasts through the Kibbie Dome, as ANARCHY returns from commercials. Rhodes makes his way to the ring, dressed in street clothes, as Josh Daniels reminds the fans that Rhodes will be facing AJ Styles for the Heavyweight Title, at DOWNFALL. Inside the ring, Rhodes tells the fans that it was an incredible feeling, coming back last week, and getting the response that they gave him. (Crowd cheers…) But, Rhodes says, that what made his return even better, was the look on AJ Styles' face when Rhodes announced himself as the #1 Contender! (Crowd begins chanting "Cody! Cody!") Laughing, Rhodes says that he finds the whole situation with Styles, Ric Flair, and the Conglomerate to be very entertaining. Rhodes says that Styles and Flair - the brains behind the start of the group - apparently are the only two that thing they can attain any sort of power in the HWL. Rhodes says that that was painfully clear, when Styles and Flair tried to "persuade" Peter Bradshaw into naming someone else #1 Contender at DOWNFALL. Rhode says that he shook his head at the attempt, because it made clear the fact that Styles knows he can't beat Rhodes inside the ring. Even when Styles was the person who filled-in at TURNING POINT, he couldn't beat Rhodes for the Heavyweight Title; and the only reason Styles is champion now, Rhodes says, is because Rhodes had to give up the belt due to injry. So, because of that, Rhodes says, he is guaranteed a match against the champion, for a title he was never defeated for. Rhodes tells AJ that there is no way around the fact that they will face each other on October 23rd, and that there will be no denying who is the better wrestler… (Rhodes' voice trails off as he drops the microphone, and heads to the back, as the crowd continues to chant his name…)
Commercial Break
Evan Bourne/Kaz vs. Steve Corino/Eddie Edwards (Tag Team Tournament Match)
This match was finally allowed to happen, a week after it was axed from the card due to a blindside attack by the Tag Team Champions, Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry. Once all four men safely made it to the ring, and the bell rang, the crowd couldn’t decide who they were behind more; unless they were just hoping for a decent contest. Kaz and Bourne - the two who came into the match with more tag experience - used that experience to gain the upper hand against Corino and Edwards, neither of which has seen a lot of ring time in recent weeks. But, knowing that a shot at the Tag Team Titles was on the line, Corino and Edwards were able to fight back, getting the crowd behind them in the process, and ultimately take over for good. Edwards locked in the Achilles Hold on Kaz, rendering him motionless in the center of the ring; but Kaz refused to tap out. Edwards stood his hobbling opponent up, before hitting a picture-perfect superkick for the 1-2-3!
Steve Corino & Eddie Edwards defeated Evan Bourne & Kaz when E. Edwards pinned Kaz after a super kick in 0:12:23. Rating: *** ½
After the match, the crowd continued to cheer as Edwards and Corino celebrated in the center of the ring. Edwards then used his boot to push Kaz out of the ring, and into the arms of Bourne, who assisted his tag partner up the ramp. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels debated on who would be the better opponents to face Edwards and Corino: Tommy Dreamer and Colt Cabana, or Yoshi Tatsu and his partner, who has yet to be named…
Commercial Break
Coming back from the commercial break, Alisha Hicks is seen with HWL Owner PETER BRADSHAW, who says he has an announcement concerning the X-Division Title at DOWNFALL. Bradshaw says that, with the recent confusion between Alex Shelley, Adam Cole and Evan Bourne, on who is the "rightful" challenger for the title, there will be a match to determine who will go on to face Tyson Kidd for the title, on October 23rd. Bradshaw says that the winner of tonight's match, between Alex Shelley and Adam Cole, will face Evan Bourne next week, in a #1 Contenders Ladder Match. (Crowd cheers…) Bradshaw says that atop the ladder will be one contract for a title match at DOWNFALL. Bradshaw thanks Alisha for her time, and walks away, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels speculate as to what kind of match the fans are going to see next week on ANARCHY…
Adam Cole vs. Alex Shelley
Within the confines of an unsanctioned tournament, the winner of this match would go on to face Evan Bourne for the chance to face Tyson Kidd for the X-Division Title at DOWNFALL. Adam Cole, who was behind the idea in the first place, came out and absolutely dominated this match from bell to bell. Shelley tried to get in a few offensive moves, but Cole appeared to be in a zone, where nothing was going to stop him. Cole picked up the victory having locking Shelley into a sunset flip, to move one day closer to a title shot.
Adam Cole pinned Alex Shelley after a sunset flip in 0:11:42. Rating: *** ½
Commercial Break
A preview for DOWNFALL is shown, as "Back For More" by Five Finger Death Punch plays in the background. The event will take place, live, from the Sprint Center in St. Louis, MO, on October 23rd.
CM Punk/AJ Styles vs. Ken Anderson/Mystery Opponent
The crowd was buzzing as the introductions for this match were made. Styles and Punk came out first to a round of boos. When Anderson and his mystery partner, CODY RHODES, were announced, AJ Styles quickly left the ring, and made his way up the ramp with Ric Flair and Chelsea, leaving Punk alone in the ring to face Anderson and Rhodes alone. The crowd booed as Styles, Flair, and Chelsea stood atop the ramp, and watched the match unfold. Punk allowed the bell to ring, before quickly leaving the ring. The crowd went crazy as Anderson and Rhodes stood inside the ring, while Punk was counted out. Punk turned towards the ramp, and stared at Styles as he walked past the group on-stage.
The match between AJ Styles & CM Punk and Ken Anderson & Cody Rhodes is a no-contest.
After the match, Anderson and Rhodes continued to stand in the ring, looking at Styles, Flair and Chelsea as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels try to figure out what they just witnessed. The crowd was a mixture of boos and murmuring as they, too, tried to rationalize what they just saw. Styles, Flair and Chelsea leave the stage as ANARCHY goes off the air.

Okay, HUGE fan of Punk's opening promo shooting on Ken Anderson! Pipebomb!
Nice victory for Rami and Brutus still looks good. Took both Rami & Hardy to clear him from the ring but he left on his feet. Brutus will get even with them very soon.
Heel Velvet picks up the win as expected.
Can't complain about the winners of the tag tournament match. I'm more looking forward to next week's tournament match and pulling Dreamer/Colt to win the whole thing.
Cole dominating Shelley in their match! I hope Shelley can rebound and get some heat back because it feels like Cole made him look foolish tonight.
I can't even begin to speculate the ending of the show. Going back to Punk's shoot maybe he and Styles just didn't want to work with the legit dangerous Anderson. Would have liked to see Cody in action but it is what it is. Can't wait to hear the explanation for this.

Monday Night Anarchy October 10, 2011 Verizon Wireless Arena - Manchester, New Hampshire Attendance: 5,817 (58%) After the HWL video entrance, “Headstrong” plays in the background as a video montage is shown of various superstars inside the ring. As the video ends, an indoor camera shows a blacked-out arena as fireworks streak through the air, culminating in a huge explosion on the stage. The arena lights come on, as smoke rises to the ceiling, and the five-thousand-plus fans in the arena scream as a camera rotates around the ring area. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome the at-home audience to Manchester, New Hampshire, and announce that they are just 13 days away from the DOWNFALL pay-per-view. Taking the at-home audience back to last week, they cut to a video showing the events that took place during the CM Punk/AJ Styles versus Ken Anderson/Cody Rhodes match. The video ends as the paying audience boos what they saw on the Titantron. Their boos become louder as AJ Style’s music begins to play… Styles and Ric Flair appear on-stage, in brand new, custom-made suits. Flair plays to the crowd, getting more jeers, as Styles calmly stands in the center of the stage, holding the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. They make their way down the ramp, and enter the ring, where Flair continues taunting the crowd. While Flair hassles the crowd a moment longer, Styles is handed a microphone from the female ring announcer. Styles brings the microphone to his lips, about to speak, but is cut off as the crowd starts a “Cody! Cody” chant. Styles shakes his head, waiting it out. After a few moments, Styles brings the mike back to his lips and says that he wanted to come out and personally explain why he walked out of last week’s main event. The crowd starts chanting something that is bleeped for the at-home audience, and Flair starts screaming at the fans to “shut up”. Styles says that the crowd has a right to their opinion, but that if they were in a position of power - like he is - he assures them they’d do the same thing. AJ says that, last week, he was expecting something big to happen, especially given that Ken Anderson was allowed to pick his own partner. AJ says that it only made perfect sense that Anderson would choose Cody Rhodes, and that’s exactly what he did. Styles gives Anderson credit for being smart, but says that he’s smarter, because as Heavyweight Champion, Styles has the right to decide when he steps into the ring with the number-one contender. AJ says that last week was not going to be the night he fought Cody Rhodes, because that match had already been signed - whether AJ liked it or not. AJ says that, if the crowd wanted to see him face Rhodes, it would be at Downfall, with the Heavyweight Title on the line; not in some thrown-together match that he was above being a part of. That comment caused the crowd to boo louder, as Styles threw his arms in the air, looking at Flair for a way out. Styles got his way out as CM Punk’s music started to play. Punk appeared on-stage, in a black T-shirt and his wrestling gear, with a microphone in his hand. The crowd continued booing as Punk made his way down the ramp, and entered the ring, sharing glances with both Flair and AJ. Punk asks them, “isn’t this great”, as he walked around the ring, seemingly soaking in the crowd’s discontent for him. Punk said that, since Styles was coming out to make a point as to way he walked out on last week’s main event, Punk thought it would only be fitting if he came out and did the same. Seeing as how he walked out too, he knew the fans would want his explanation as well. Punk said that, unlike Styles, he didn’t have the luxury of being able to decide when and where he fought someone, especially a number-one contender for a title he doesn’t have, yet. Punk says the only thing he had to worry about was putting his life on the line; and he said that, even though he’s done it a number of times in the past, he wasn’t going to do it in Moscow, Idaho. Punk said that his opponent at Downfall - Ken Anderson - has had a notorious reputation for not being the safest person to step into a wrestling ring. And, because of that, Punk said that if he was going to get injured - or worse - at the hands of Anderson, it was going to be on pay-per-view, where people would have to pay for it, instead of getting to see his career end for free. The crowd started the same unrepeated chant as before, and Punk greeted their taunting with a smug smile and a shrug of his shoulders. The crowd’s booing turned into cheers as Ken Anderson made his way onto the stage. Dressed in a form-fitting t-shirt and blue jeans, Anderson told Punk that he agrees with the crowd, and that Punk is only afraid of getting embarrassed. Anderson said that Punk has spent most of his time since returning to the HWL, telling everyone that would listen to him, that he had become the biggest name in the business - somewhere else - and that fact alone should allow him the right to do as he pleases. Anderson said that Punk doesn’t want to get into the ring with him until the pay-per-view; but Anderson asked if the fans in Manchester were pleased that they spent their hard-earned money on tickets to see Punk weasel his way out of another opportunity to back up his statements. The crowd screamed out “No!” in unison, as Punk smirked and nodded to Anderson for calling his bluff. Punk then said that, if Anderson was hinting at wanting to fight tonight, then he would be willing to put his career on the line a couple weeks early. He said that he’d had a good long career, and if it ended tonight, he would go into retirement knowing that he would be remembered far longer than Anderson would ever dream. The crowd’s volume started rising, at the hope of seeing Punk/Anderson later tonight, but they were once again interrupted, this time by CODY RHODES. Dressed in a white T-shirt, black sports jacket, blue jeans and boots, Rhodes said that he hated to be the one to ruin everyone’s fun at the start of the show, saying that CM Punk would be in action tonight, just not against Ken Anderson. Rhodes said that he was personally told by Peter Bradshaw, when he entered the arena tonight, who would be facing Punk in tonight’s main event: Cody Rhodes! Hearing the news, Punk dropped his microphone to the canvas and rolled under the bottom rope and out of the ring. He stopped, however, at the sound of Rhodes’ voice saying that if any member of The Conglomerate interfered in the match, that both Punk and the interfering member would be suspended, and would not take part in the pay-per-view. Rhodes also said that the same went for him and Anderson, and two men stared at each other for a long moment, before Rhodes turned and walked backstage. “Anarchy” went to commercials showing Anderson, Flair, Styles and Punk standing in stunned silence. Commercial BreakAs “Anarchy” returned from the break, RIC FLAIR and AJ STYLES are seen standing outside the Conglomerate’s locker room. AJ said that tonight was a rare occasion, because he agreed with what Cody Rhodes had said last week. That he and Flair had lost the power they should have, him being the Heavyweight Champion, and Flair being who he is. Styles said that they should be the most feared group in the HWL, but things continue to happen that make them out to be the laughing stock of the locker room. He said that, on the other side of the door, was a roomful of men who believed that they would hold some kind of standing in the HWL. Instead, they have to stand around and get mocked every week, because no one has done anything to prove the Conglomerate’s worth. Styles said that it needed to change, and fast, because he wasn’t going to let another accident cost him the Heavyweight Title at “Downfall”. “The Nature Boy” nodded his head, listening to what AJ had to get off his chest, and answered simply by saying that he would do whatever he could to change the Conglomerate’s identity. Flair said that he, too, had been thinking about what Rhodes said last week, and had come up with a plan to get things moving in the right direction. Flair told AJ that, if he trusted him, to let Flair go through with his plan, and just wait to see what the end result was. AJ said that he did trust Flair, but warned that, if Flair’s plan backfired, all his trust would be lost. The two of them went their separate ways as the scene fades to ringside… Kaz vs. Kurt AngleA week after coming up short in his bid to regain the Tag Team Titles, with Evan Bourne, Kaz stepped into the ring with Angle. Angle caused quite the stir last week, as he and Martin Maldonado brutally attacked Randy Orton backstage, leaving “The Viper” bloodied in the parking lot. Tonight, Kaz gave Angle a little more fight than the former Champion was expecting, but frustration quickly set in for Kaz. After multiple attempts to put Angle away, Kaz tore into referee Anthony Thomas, throwing him over the top rope, before continuing to assault Angle. The match continued, as Thomas slowly got back to his feet, and Angle connected with a cheap back elbow, hitting Kaz square in the nose. Angle took advantage, rolled up Kaz, and grabbed a handful of tights as Thomas counted the three! Kurt Angle pinned Kaz after a back elbow in 0:10:07. Rating: **** ¼After the match, Angle quickly rolled out of the ring as Kaz argued with Thomas. Thomas, who had had enough of Kaz, limped out of the ring, and stood by the announce table as Kaz turned his attention to Angle, who was walking up the ramp. As Angle walked up the ramp, he got blindsided by RANDY ORTON! Orton attacked Angle, on the ramp, before MARTIN MALDANADO ran down to make the save. Maldonado shoved Orton down to the steel, and stood over Angle, as Orton got to his feet. Orton said that things were far from over, and left through the crowd, as Anarchy went to commercials… Commercial BreakComing back from the break, Kurt Angle and Martin Maldonado are seen walking through the hallways backstage. They separate, heading in other directions, as the camera follows Angle into his locker room. He heads towards his ring bag, sitting on a chair in front of a locker, and notices a plain white envelope sitting on top. Angle opens the envelope and pulls out a piece of paper. He reads the note and lets it fall to the ground, before quickly looking over his shoulder. Angle begins to scour the locker room, opening doors and looking in the shower area for someone, anyone. He quickly leaves the locker room, storming down the hallway as the scene cuts to another area backstage… The Women’s Champion, Brie Bella, is seen pacing around an empty area backstage, talking on her cell phone. Dressed in her ring gear, with the title belt around her waist, Brie said that she agree with the person on the other end: Velvet Sky is crazy. Brie said that she never thought she’d see Velvet do some of the things she’s done in the past, and that there’s no telling what she’s going to do in the future. Brie announced that she had a match coming up, and would have to end the call. She thanked the person on the other end, and hung up the phone, before heading towards the ring area, but she is stopped as VELVET SKY stepped into her path. Velvet said that she heard what Brie had said, and that if she thought Velvet was crazy now, then Brie would indeed be shocked by what Velvet had in store. Velvet said that she might do some crazy things, but she had never once called anyone “crazy”, and demanded that Brie apologize to her. Annoyed, Brie told Velvet that she was not going to apologize and demanded that Velvet get out of her way. Velvet said not until she was apologized to, which Brie said was not going to happen. Velvet took a step closer, coming within inches of Brie’s face, and asked her to please apologize for hurting her feelings. Brie stood her ground, and said no. Then, out of nowhere, Velvet smacked Brie across the face and turned, running down the hallway, as Brie stood in shock, rubbing the side of her face. Commercial BreakNon-Title Match Hamada vs. © Brie BellaBrie Bella’s night didn’t get off to the start she was expecting, as he encounter with Velvet Sky was witnessed by millions around the world. But, to make matters worse, she stepped into the ring with Hamada, a newcomer from Japan. Brie got off to a good start in the opening minutes of the match, but Hamada’s background in the world of Japanese wrestling appeared to be no match for the Women’s Champion. Hamada landed a couple frankensteiner and a power bomb before going for the cover, only getting a two-count, as Brie was able to get to the ropes. From that point, the match went back and forth, with both Vixens getting slow counts from the referee. Eventually, Brie was able to sit her second Bella Buster of the match, and covered Hamada for the 1-2-3. Brie Bella pinned Hamada with the Bella Buster in 0:10:25. Rating: * ¾After the match, Brie rolled out of the ring, and grabbed her title belt, giving the referee a very dirty look. She made her way up the ramp as Hamada slowly sat up, holding her head, on the canvas. Backstage, MARTIN MALDONADO is seen walking through the hallways, when he is approached by KURT ANGLE. Angle told him about note that was left in his locker room, and said that they need to discuss this together. Angle said doesn’t know who’s behind it, but he would be making a phone call if they agreed it was the right thing to do. Both men looked around them, suspiciously, before heading to an undisclosed area of the arena, as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial BreakAnarchy returned, showing the outside of the Verizon Wireless Center, before heading inside to show the ring area. HWL Owner PETER BRADSHAW appeared on-stage, carrying the HWL X-Division Title over his shoulder. As he entered the ring, and was handed a microphone, Bradshaw told the fans that he had good news and bad news to tell them. The bad news, Bradshaw said, was that Tyson Kidd - who was X-Division Champion last week - has decided to follow another path in life, and has decided to leave the HWL. (Crowd boos) But, Bradshaw said the good news was, that the fans in Manchester would not have to wait another week to see who would take the place of titleholder. Bradshaw announced that, the match between Evan Bourne and Adam Cole - which was previously slated to be a #1 Contenders Match - would not be for the vacated X-Division Title. (crowd cheers) Bradshaw thanked the crowd for their time, and said he hoped they would look forward to the match, later tonight. He left the ring as the camera showed the backstage area… Backstage, Alisha Hicks was seen with CM PUNK, who was still in his t-shirt and ring gear. Alisha asked Punk to expand on the comments he made, earlier tonight, about Ken Anderson. Punk, annoyed by the question, told Alisha that there was nothing to expand on. He had come out to the ring and made his point crystal clear, he thought. Punk said that’s why Alisha would never be more then just a pretty face, with the ability to hold a microphone in front of someone’s mouth. Alisha shook her head, unable to believe what was just said to her, but she managed to ask Punk what he thought about facing Cody Rhodes in tonight’s main event. Punk said that, if nothing else, it was a way for Peter Bradshaw to show how much power he had. Punk said that Bradshaw had to prove a point to someone, and he knew that AJ Styles would just walk out again, if he was given an opponent he didn’t like. Bradshaw knew that Punk wouldn’t do that, he said. Punk said that he doesn’t like Cody Rhodes, but that he respects him. He’s been at the top of the mountain in the HWL - a place that Punk plans on being in no time at all. Punk said that, if Bradshaw wants to see what they are both capable of before Downfall, then that’s what’s going to happen. Punk said that the only thing sweeter than beating a former Heavyweight Champion tonight, would be beating the current Heavyweight Champion, when the time came. Punk walked away from Alisha as Anarchy went to commercials… Commercial Break#1 Contenders Match - Tag Team Titles Steve Corino/Eddie Edwards vs. Colt Cabana/Yoshi TatsuIn the days leading up to this match, Colt Cabana and Yoshi Tatsu had lost their respective partners, as they decided to leave the company, forcing Peter Bradshaw to put them together, shortening the #1 Contender tournament. Cabana and Tatsu came into this match at a huge disadvantage, having never worked together before, and facing a team who, last week, defeated Evan Borne and Kaz. That previous teamwork helped proved Corino and Edwards to be more deserving of a title shot at Downfall. All four men spent a significant amount of time, doing damage to each other outside the ring, but in the end, it came down to Corino connecting with a Northern Lights suplex to pick up the victory, punching he and Edwards a ticket to Kansas City. Steve Corino & Eddie Edwards defeated Colt Cabana & Yoshi Tatsu when S. Corino pinned Yoshi after a Northern Lights suplex in 0:15:17. Rating: *** ¾After the match, Corino and Edwards left the ring, as the crowd gave them a mixed response to their victory. They did not see Chris Hero and David Otunga appear on-stage with Shane Hagadorn holding the Tag Team Titles on his shoulders. As Corino and Edwards turned, they quickly braced themselves for a fight, as the anticipation inside the arena built just as fast. The four men stood on-stage, staring at each other, before Hero and Otunga offered their hands. Reluctantly - after a few moments thought - Corino and Edwards shook their hands, symbolizing that their confrontation would be fair and down the middle. Hero, Otunga and Hagadorn left the stage as the scene goes backstage… Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with ADAM COLE. Dressed in his ring attire, Cole is asked about the announcement that his match against Evan Bourne will now be for the X-Division Title. Cole said that, he had been saying for week, that it was only a matter of time before he stepped into the ring with the belt on the line again. He said that he just wished that the match would’ve been against Tyson Kidd. Cole said that, last week, he got a sense of redemption in beating Alex Shelley, but that the ultimate goal was to beat Kidd for the belt. Cole said that, instead, he will have to do to Evan Bourne what he wanted to do to Kidd; but that the end result would still be the same: that he would be announced the winner, and would walk out of Manchester as a two-time X-Division Champion. Cole left the area as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial BreakAs Anarchy came back from the break, the camera showed Cody Rhodes stretching in an empty area backstage. As Rhodes finished his stretches, and began to walk away, he was approached by KEN ANDERSON. Anderson told Rhodes that he’s glad Rhodes’ injury had healed, and that he was getting back into the ring. Anderson said that he wasn’t happy that Rhodes was getting a shot at AJ Styles, and the Heavyweight Title, but he understood why. But, Anderson said the main reason he stopped Rhodes was to ask him a question. Anderson said he knew that Rhodes was looking to get back in the ring, and that just like him, Rhodes had heard enough of CM Punk running his mouth as of late; so, Anderson asked Rhodes to take what he wanted from Punk, but to leave Anderson a little bit for Downfall, where he would finish Punk off for good. Anderson patted Rhodes on the shoulder before walking away… Match for vacant X-Division Title Evan Bourne vs. Adam ColeA glass case was set up near the announcer’s table, holding the X-Division Title, reminding both men of what was at stake in this match. Knowing what awaited the winner, both men did everything they could to get the better of his opponent. Early on in the match, Bourne, in an uncharacteristic showing, threw the referee out of the ring in disgust. Unlike the other times this happens, there would be no penalty handed down to Bourne, and the match was allowed to continue. Both men continued to work each other over, with Cole gaining the upper hand as they made their way out of the ring area. Cole landed a DDT onto a fan’s chair, but instead of going for the pin, gloated - claiming that he would be a two-time champion. The time wasted allowed Bourne, who had grabbed another chair, to crack the metal onto Cole’s kneecap, sending him down to the concrete, holding his leg in pain. Bourne worked over the leg, and drug Cole back into the ring. Standing on one wobbly leg, Cole fell victim to a stiff forearm smash that allowed Bourne to make the cover, and win his first-ever title in the HWL! Evan Bourne pinned Adam Cole after a forearm smash in 0:10:08. Rating: *** ¾After the match, Bourne rolled out of the ring, and opened the glass case, taking out the X-Division Title and holding it in the air. Bourne then rolled into the ring, and while standing over Cole’s body, revealed a small piece of metal from inside the tape that covered his forearm. Bourne let the metal drop to the canvas, as a wave of confusion went through the crowd. Bourne left the ring, carrying the title belt over his shoulder, as the scene cut to the backstage area…In the Conglomerate locker room, RIC FLAIR and MATT MORGAN are seen talking. As Morgan left the room, Flair’s cell phone rang. Flair picked up, said hello, and listened to the person on the other end. After a few moments, Flair said that he would meet “them” next week in Hershey. Flair hung up the phone, leaned back in his chair, and smiled satisfactorily as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial BreakAs Anarchy returned, “Back For More” by Five Finger Death Punch played while a preview for Downfall aired. The event will take place, on October 23rd, live from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missorui. CM Punk vs. Cody RhodesEver since the match was announced, earlier on the show, a lot of buzz surrounded the eventual encounter between Punk and Rhodes. The question was: Would the match last long enough to be something the fans would be happy with? That question was answered, and more, as neither Ken Anderson or AJ Styles wasted their time in showing up at ringside. Both men interfered for their respective party, but never doing enough to warrant a victory for either Punk or Rhodes. Even without the help from the outside, Punk and Rhodes both tried everything in their arsenal to put each other away, hitting both the G.T.S. and the Cross Rhodes on multiple occasions, to no avail. As the match began to wind down, and both men started showing signs of fatigue, they went outside the ring, where they both fell victim to sneak attacks from Anderson and Styles. In the end, neither man could gain the advantage, and the referee had no choice but to count them out. Cody Rhodes and CM Punk battled to a double countout in 0:20:48. Rating: *** ¾ [AJ Styles interfered against Cody Rhodes.] [Ken Anderson interfered against CM Punk.]After the match, all four men tore into each other, eliciting a roar of cheers from the crowd! HWL security personnel ran down to the ring and broke up the brawl, as PETER BRADSHAW appeared on-stage. Bradshaw said that he knew that all four men were salivating at the thought of getting a hold of each other at Downfall, but that neither he nor the fans were willing to wait that long. Bradshaw announced that, next week, AJ Styles and CM Punk would team up to face Ken Anderson and Cody Rhodes in a steel cage match! Bradshaw said that, unlike other cage matches, the only way to win this one would be either pinfall or submission. With the crowd cheering, Bradshaw left the stage. All four men stared in disbelief as Anarchy went off the air…Card rating: *** ½ HWL Downfall - 10/23/2011 - Kansas City, MissouriHWL Heavyweight Title Match: Cody Rhodes vs. (c) AJ Styles HWL Tag Team Title Match: Steve Corino/Eddie Edwards vs. (c) Chris Hero/David Otunga HWL Women's Title Match: Velvet Sky vs. (c) Brie Bella Randy Orton vs. Martin Maldanado Ken Anderson vs. CM Punk

You have to help me out here, as I can't find any info on him, but who is Martin Maldonado? Surely not the Brewers player, is it?

You have to help me out here, as I can't find any info on him, but who is Martin Maldonado? Surely not the Brewers player, is it? No, I tried something new, and renamed Homicide after he was released from PCW. I know that's caused some confusion. It'll probably be the last time I do it.

Monday Night Anarchy October 17, 2011 GIANT Center - Hershey, Pennsylvania Attendance: 6,195 (59%) PETER BRADSHAW UPHOLDS JUDGMENT The ominous steel cage structure hung over the ring as the HWL Owner made his way out to start the show. Bradshaw said that last week Cody Rhodes, Ken Anderson, CM Punk and AJ Styles all showed total disregard for his authority, and blatantly challenged him. Bradshaw said that he didn't think it was funny, and that the punishment for all four men would be two-fold. First, their matches this Sunday at Downfall were effectively taken off the card, and since AJ Styles would not be able to defend the Heavyweight Title, Bradshaw would consider whether or not to strip him of the belt. The crowd booed at the idea of having the main event this Sunday taken away, and let Bradshaw know it. Secondly, Bradshaw said, that tonight's cage match is his way of inflicting punishment on all four men. He said that the match will be contained to the cage, as the only way to win would either be pinfall or submission. Bradshaw also said that both Ric Flair and Chelsea would be banned from ringside as to ensure the match was clean. And, in the interest of fairness to the fans, Bradshaw said that he would reinstate the winning team, and allow them to choose their opponents this Sunday night. Bradshaw left the ring as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels mentioned the "huge implications" tonight's main event would have. Commercial BreakRANDY ORTON'S IDEA As Anarchy returned, Peter Bradshaw was seen walking through the backstage area, where he approached Kaz. Bradshaw said that he was not pleased with Kaz's actions last week, at all. Bradshaw said that putting your hands on an official is means for an immediate suspension, and Kaz knew it. Bradshaw told Kaz to pack up his things and head back to the hotel. But as Kaz and started to walk away, RANDY ORTON stopped him, and told Bradshaw that he had an idea that would make him very happy. Orton suggested that a tag team match take place tonight, between the teams of Kaz and Evan Bourne against Kurt Angle and Martin Maldonado. Orton said the part Bradshaw would like was that Orton would name himself the special referee for the match! That way, if anyone tries to put their hands on an official, he can defend himself. Bradshaw said he loved the idea, and that the match was on. Orton smiled and turned away as Kaz stared after him… Brutus Magnus vs. Titus O’NeilFor the last few weeks, Brutus Magnus had had his hands full with both Jeff Hardy and Rami Sebei. Tonight, Magnus found himself with his hands full again, this time in the form of the massive O’Neil, who made his debut after being released from the WWE. O’Neil towered over Magnus, and outweighed him by a number of pounds, and it showed as O’Neil took control of the match early on. Magnus slid outside the ring, to catch his composure, frustrated with his efforts in the early minutes. Back in the ring, O’Neil continued to control the match, slowly getting the crowd behind him. But, O’Neil’s luck ran out as Magnus somehow found the strength to reverse an irish whip into the turnbuckle, before connecting with the Tormentum out of nowhere for the 1-2-3! Brutus Magnus pinned Titus O’Neil with the Tormentum in 0:09:32. Rating: * ¼MAGNUS ISSUES CHALLENGE After his match against Yoshi Tatsu, Brutus Magnus rolled out of the ring and grabbed a microphone from the ring announcer. Magnus said that he had a week to think about what he wanted to do about Jeff Hardy and Rami Sebei; and had decided to issue a challenge to both of them, for a Handicap Match at Downfall. Magnus knew he was putting himself at a disadvantage, but that he was tired of their games. He promised their games would end on Sunday night. Commercial BreakHIDDEN VIDEO FOOTAGE SHOWN As Anarchy returned, Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels announced that they had been sent video footage from earlier in the day. The video shows a crowded parking lot, outside of a building with the name blurred out, somewhere in Hershey, PA. The camera fixates on the main entrance, as two figured walked out: Ric Flair and AJ Styles. They stop just outside the door, as a third person - still inside the building - held the door open. They three men exchange pleasantries before Flair and Styles head towards a HUMMER parked at the far end of the lot. The video showed them get into the vehicle and drive away before fading to black. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels spent the new few moments speculating as to who the leaders of The Conglomerate were meeting with; that it must’ve been whoever Flair was speaking too last week. AJ ISSUES A DEMAND A “live” shot, backstage, showed AJ Styles standing in front of a room full of chairs, filled by the other members of The Conglomerate. Styles said that he was the Heavyweight Champion - and the only three-time champion ever in the HWL - and that he should be respected. He said that he doesn’t feel respected by the men in the room, and that it was going to change tonight. Styles said that, because of their actions, the other members of The Conglomerate may have gotten him stripped of the title, and had taken him out of the main event this Sunday night. Styles said that he and Punk would be able to handle themselves tonight, and that he wouldn’t have to worry about facing Cody Rhodes at Downfall. So, because of that, Styles demanded that every member of The Conglomerate stay backstage, or else they answer to him personally. Styles left the room as the other members stared off in silence. Hamada vs. Velvet SkyJust six days before her match against Brie Bella for the Women’s Title, Velvet Sky stepped into the ring with Hamada, who was looking to have a better showing then she did last week against the champion. The Japanese superstar jumped out to a quick start, taking over the match from the bell, and showing off the skills she had honed in the Land of the Rising Sun. Hamada appeared to have the match won on a few occasions, but Velvet was able to kick out, which only enraged Hamada. Her anger seemed to have taken Hamada off her game at the end, as she missed with a kick to Velvet’s head, that Velvet turned into a sleeper hold reverse. With the move locked in, Hamada dropped to the canvas as the referee counted the 1-2-3. Velvet Sky pinned Hamada after a sleeper hold reverse mat slam in 0:09:37. Rating: *** ½After the match, while the referee was tending to Hamada inside the ring, Velvet rolled out and made her way up the ramp. As she stood on-stage, celebrating her victory, BRIE BELLA appeared from behind the curtain and stood behind Velvet. As Velvet turned around, Brie slapped her in the face as hard as possible, knocking Velvet to the ground! Brie then held up the Women’s Title to a thunderous roar of cheers from the crowd as Anarchy went to commercials.Commercial BreakSpecial Referee: Randy Orton Kaz/Evan Bourne vs. Kurt Angle/Martin MaldonadoRandy Orton came down to the ring with an official’s shirt on, as the special referee for the match. Orton stared at Angle and Maldonado as they were introduced to the crowd, and did not take his eyes of them as Kaz and Bourne were introduced. When the match started, Orton kept his promise to Peter Bradshaw, and called the match down the middle; but he had no problem getting into the face of either Angle or Maldonado when they tried to take advantage of double-teams. Things got interesting early on as ADAM COLE made his way to the ring, and stood at ringside. Kaz repeatedly had to keep Bourne’s attention in the match, but it was all Angle and Maldonado needed to get the upper hand. With Bourne and Maldonado in the ring, Maldonado locked in a reverse chin lock that was broken as Bourne grabbed the ropes. But, as Maldonado got into Orton’s face, Adam Cole smashed the X-Division Title over Bourne’s head. Bourne stumbled back and fell victim to the Gringo Killer as Maldonado made the cover, and Orton reluctantly counted the fall. Kurt Angle & Martin Maldonado defeated Kaz & Evan Bourne when Maldonado pinned E. Bourne with the Gringo Killer in 0:09:28. Rating: *** ¼ [Adam Cole interfered against Evan Bourne.]After the match, Adam Cole made a bee-line to up the ramp as the things unfolded inside the ring. After getting the victory, Maldonado went after Orton, as both Angle and Kaz entered the ring. All four men started brawling inside the ring, as the crowd went crazy! HWL Officials rushed to the ring, as Orton ducked a clothesline and attempted the RKO on Maldonado, who slipped out of the ring. Across the ring, Kaz connected with the Wave of the Future, and as Angle stumbled backwards, Orton turned and connected with an RKO! Orton got to his feet and stared at Maldonado as Kaz tended to Evan Bourne. Anarchy went to commercials with Maldonado and Orton staring across the arena.AJ CONFRONTS CM PUNK Backstage, CM Punk is seen stretching as AJ Styles approached, catching Punk’s attention. Styles said that he wanted to make a couple things clear before their match tonight. First, Styles said that he didn’t give a damn who got the victory tonight, but that the important thing was that he and Punk won tonight. Secondly, Styles told Punk that if Punk just happens to be the one who gets the win, that he better think twice before naming Styles as his opponent for Sunday night. Punk said nothing as Styles slapped on him on the shoulder and walked off. Punk looked at his shoulder and turned, smiling, as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial BreakINTERVIEW WITH #1 CONTENDERS Backstage, Alisha Hicks was seen with Steve Corino and Eddie Edwards, and asked for their thoughts on their Tag Team Title Match this Sunday at Downfall. Edwards said that both he and Corino had been at the bottom of the HWL for far too long, and that winning matches the last two weeks, they’ve shown that they are capable of being a dominant team, and a threat to Chris Hero and David Otunga. Corino said that, this Sunday night will be their biggest match since they arrived in the HWL, and that anything less then walking out with the Tag Team Titles would be a huge disappointment. Corino and Edwards walked away as the scene goes back to ringside… X-Division Match: Alex Shelley vs. Chris Hero (w/Shane Hagadorn)Six days before defending the Tag Team Titles against Steve Corino and Eddie Edwards, Chris Hero - one-half of the Tag Team Champions - stepped into the ring with Alex Shelley. Shelley looked to come back from coming up short in his bid to earn a shot at the X-Division Title. This was a back and forth match as both men weren’t willing to give up any room to the other. That all changed as Shane Hagadorn got involved, tripping Shelley while Hero had the referee distracted. As Shelley turned around, Hero connected with the Hero’s Welcome to pick up the victory. Chris Hero pinned Alex Shelley with the Hero’s Welcome in 0:11:10. Rating: *** ½ [Shane Hagadorn interfered against Alex Shelley.]After the match, Hero left the ring and Hagadorn handed him the Tag Team Title belt. As they made their way up the ramp, STEVE CORINO and EDDIE EDWARDS appeared on-stage. The four men had a tense stare-down before Corino and Edwards extended their hands. Hero and Hagadorn shared a glance before walking past the #1 Contenders, blowing off their generosity. Corino and Edwards shook their head as the camera panned to the ring, and the steel cage structure began to lower. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels hyped the main event as Anarchy went to commercials.Commercial BreakThe final preview for Downfall is shown, as “Back For More” by Five Finger Death Punch is played in the background. The event will take place this Sunday night, October 23rd, live from the Sprint Center in Kansas City, Missouri! Steel Cage Match: Ken Anderson/Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk/© AJ StylesThe crowd in Hershey was red hot for this match, after being denied the chance to see it two weeks ago. The steel cage hung over the ring like a metal prison as all four men knew that trying to climb to the top would do them no good. When the match began, neither Punk nor Styles were willing to get into the ring against the formerly scheduled opponents this Sunday night. But that all changed as Rhodes and Anderson charged their corner and brought them both into the ring! Styles and Anderson were finally separated and the referee pushed them outside the ring, as Rhodes and Punk officially started the match. The match went back and forth, with both teams making timely tags, but never being able to take clear advantage of them. Punk took over later in the match, after hitting low blow to Rhodes’s groin, and he and Styles began working over the still-healing injury. At this point, Anderson had seen enough, and cleared the ring, giving Rhodes time to compose himself. They quickly tagged, and Anderson waited as Punk debated whether or not to fight. Punk finally slapped AJ on the shoulder and left the ring, as the former tag team partners squared off in the ring. Anderson got the advantage and started working over Styles, but with his back turned, Punk attacked Anderson with another low blow! Styles recovered, and tagged in Punk, who landed a number of quick shots to Anderson. Punk went for the cover, but only got a two-count. Punk went for a spinning heel kick, but Anderson caught him in mid-air, and clumsily stumbled into the ropes, guillotining Punk on the top rope! Punk held his throat in pain as Anderson tagged in Rhodes, who hit a quick Hotshot before pinning Punk for the 1-2-3! Ken Anderson & Cody Rhodes defeated CM Punk & AJ Styles when C. Rhodes pinned Punk after a Hotshot in 0:14:45. Rating: ****RHODES AND ANDERSON CHOOSE THEIR OPPONENTS After the match, AJ Styles was seen shaking his head as he took a seat on the top turnbuckle in his team’s corner. The cage began to rise as Peter Bradshaw made his way down to the ring, and announced that Rhodes and Anderson had won the right to their pick of opponents for Sunday night. Rhodes said that there was only one person he wanted to face at Downfall, and he was holding a title that didn’t belong him: AJ Styles. When Styles heard Rhodes’ choice, he jumped off the turnbuckle and rolled out of the ring, grabbed the Heavyweight Title and walked towards the stage. Anderson then said that CM Punk needed to be knocked down a few notches, and that he will be the one to do it at Downfall. With that, Bradshaw said those the two matches were back on, and would take place on Sunday night. Anarchy went off the air as the three men stood in the ring. Anarchy 10/10
Very detailed report of the opening segment. It really set the table for the four guys who are leading the charge into the PPV.
I'm interested to see what Flair has in store to bring some legitimacy to The Conglomerate. Right now AJ's title is the only thing legitimate about the group and keeping that title should be a priority. Flair may have to pull out some major stops to ensure Styles keeps it.
The Viper strikes but realizes he can't win in a 2-on-1 situation. Of course this is far from over, Randy! I wonder if he has anything to do with the note left on Angle's bag.
I like Brie as the Women's Champ. She has a good underdog spirit about her. Velvet is a bully, and Hamada is a beast so kudos to Brie for still managing a win tonight.
WTF Tyson Kidd?! HWL goes through all that trouble bringing in Bret to get you over and you decide to pursue of things?!?! Good riddance!
Corino & Edwards wins, as they should. That handshake with the Champions isn't likely to hold up. It never does!
Evan Bourne with a loaded forearm?! Hey, whatever it takes. I was in favor of him over Cole anyway.
First Brie is seen on the phone, then Flair. Does anyone in the building actually watch the show? Either way, Flair knows a lot of people, so "them" could be damn near anybody!
Hot ending to the show! I was really hoping Anderson would have to face all three men in a handicapped match but eh, a tag team Cage Match is almost as good.
---------------
Anarchy 10/17
Wow! Bradshaw's announcement is unprecedented! I don't even know what to make of it.
Brutus has always come across as a smart guy so I really doubt he issued a challenge to Hardy & Sebei without a devious plan in mind.
And Brie with a revenge slap! Velvet deserved it! I'm actually really looking forward to their match at Downfall. And hoping Brie retains.
Maldanado escaped the RKO tonight but I doubt he escapes it at Downfall. And silly Bourne.. of course Cole would want some revenge! You can't just expose your loaded forearm in front of everyone and NOT expect some payback. Things could get ugly between these two VERY fast.
Whew! Good call by Anderson & Rhodes to choose the same opponents. Had me worried for a minute. But I still hate Anderson. I think Styles retains although I'm rooting for Rhodes. Punk over Anderson so much not just because I hate Anderson with a passion but I'm also a huge fan of Punk in HWL because you write him so well.

Thank you, very much, for the comments! I'm really liking the way things are starting to flow together with a lot of the angles heading into the PPV.
And, speaking of the PPV, it should be posted tonight when I get home from church.

HWL Downfall PPV October 23, 2011 Sprint Center – Kansas City, Missouri Attendance: 10,032 (58%) Fireworks shot off the stage and ring area as “Back For More” by Five Finger Death Punch played throughout the arena. As the smoke cleared, Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcomed everyone to Kansas City, Missouri, and to the Downfall pay-per-view. They went over the seven scheduled matches for the evening, before a small preview video played, showing the events from last Monday night surrounding Brutus Magnus's challenge to Jeff Hardy and Rami Sebei. Handicap Match: Jeff Hardy/Rami Sebei vs. Brutus MagnusMagnus demanded this match, Monday night at Anarchy, and quickly found himself over-matched after the bell rang. During his time in the HWL, Rami Sebei has proven to be a very agile athlete, who uses his speed to his advantage. In doing so, he almost became Heavyweight Champion. Similar to his partner, Jeff Hardy has proven to be just as agile, and more willing to put his body on the line to pick up a victory. That was the case tonight, as Hardy and Magnus found their way outside the ring, and Magnus – in a moment of control – whipped Hardy into the steel barricade at ringside. Magnus worked over Hardy's back after re-entering the ring, but wasn't able to put him away with a pin-fall attempt. Hardy fought back, slowly getting to his feet, and made the hot tag to Sebei, who came in and used his speed to take down Magnus. After hitting a beautiful spinning DDT in the center of the ring, Sebei tagged in Hardy, who quickly jumped to the top rope before hitting the Swanton Bomb for the 1-2-3! Jeff Hardy and Rami Sebei defeated Brutus Magnus when J. Hardy pinned Magnus with the Swanton Bomb in 0:07:47. Rating: *** ¾After the match, Hardy and Sebei left the ring and celebrated with the crowd as the camera went backstage. THE CHAMPS ARE READY Backstage, in their locker room, CHRIS HERO and DAVID OTUNGA – the HWL Tag Team Champions – are seen listening to Shane Hagadorn. Hagadorn told them that tonight was the first time in a while that they would not have to face Skip Sheffield or Rob Terry for the title belts. He said that, tonight, they get to step into the ring with a makeshift team that was created by Peter Bradshaw out of two men that couldn't cut it as singles competitors. Hagadorn said that Bradshaw was crazy to think that Steve Corino and Eddie Edwards would be able to take away the titles that Hero and Otunga had worked so hard to get, after winning just a couple matches over the past few weeks. Hagadorn said that Hero and Otunga had nothing to worry about, that they were better then Corino and Edwards, and that after they won tonight, drinks would be on him. Hero and Otunga got to their feet as all three men walked out of the dressing room. THE QUESTIONS BEGIN Also backstage, in the parking lot, “The Nature Boy” RIC FLAIR and the HWL Heavyweight Champion AJ STYLES, are seen carrying their luggage into the Sprint Center. As they head towards the door, Alisha Hicks appeared, in a purple sweater and gray dress pants. She told the duo that a video had been shown on Monday night, showing them leaving a restaurant. She asked if it had anything to do with the phone call Flair had taken two weeks ago, and if they could tell her who they had met with. Styles said nothing as Flair looked Alisha up and down, complimented her on her attire, and said that the questions would be answered in due time. Flair said that he wasn't going to waste his time giving Alisha the specifics of what did or didn't happen, and that Styles had bigger things to worry about. They walked past Alisha as the scene cut back to ringside. Tag Team Title Match: Steve Corino/Eddie Edwards vs. © Chris Hero/David Otunga (w/Shane Hagadorn)For the past couple weeks, things have gone back and forth between these two teams as they prepared to face off tonight, with the Tag Team Titles hanging in the balance. After winning the right to challenge the Champions, Steve Corino and Eddie Edwards were greeted by what seemed to be a friendly handshake from the Hero and Otunga. Last week, that changed, as Hero was not willing to return the offered handshake of the challenges. That set the stage for tonight, where Hero and Otunga, who Hagadorn referred to as the “A-List Knockouts”, proved that they were the dominant team. Having worked together in the past, they had learned each others' skills and tendencies. They worked over Corino and Edwards with a number of double teams, while Hagadorn kept the other member occupied. Corino looked to be in a world of hurt at the end of the match, but he ducked under a vicious clothesline attempt from Otunga, and was able to tag in Edwards, who cleaned out, getting the crowd fired up! Outside the ring, Corino grabbed Otunga and threw out back into the ring. Shane Hagadorn came from behind and hit Corino in the back with a forearm. Corino turned around and chased Hagadorn from ringside. Hero, who noticed that his manager was in trouble, left ringside and began to give chase, too. Inside the ring, Edwards waited as Otunga got to his feet before connecting with a springboard dropkick. Edwards made the cover, and the referee counted the 1-2-3! Steve Corino & Eddie Edwards defeated Chris Hero & David Otunga when E. Edwards pinned D. Otunga after a springboard dropkick in 0:17:51. Rating: *** (Steve Corino & Eddie Edwards won the HWL Tag Team Titles.)After the match, Edwards and Corino were announced the winners, which stopped Hero in his tracks atop the stage. Edwards rolled out of the ring and grabbed both title belts as Hero lost his temper and started tearing down whatever part of the set he could get his hands on. HWL officials rushed to the stage, and after a struggle with Hero, escorted him to the backstage area. THE QUESTIONS CONTINUE Backstage, the camera followed Alisha Hicks as she approached MATT MORGAN. Alisha asked if Morgan had any information about who AJ Styles and Ric Flair were talking to on Monday night. Morgan told Alisha that she's starting to get on people's nerves – and that it's in her best interest to stop snooping around. Alisha said that not Morgan nor any other member of the Conglomerate would dare put their hands on her for doing her job. Morgan smiled, and said that that was probably true. Morgan said that he didn't know who Styles and Flair had spoken to, and that neither of them would be willing to offer up that information to him, or any other member, any way. Frustrated, Alisha turned around, and came face to face with Chelsea. Chelsea said that if Alisha kept asking questions, there was one member of the Conglomerate that she would have to worry about. Alisha quickly walked away as the scene went back to ringside... Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discussed the up-coming match, for the Women's Title, between Velvet Sky and champion Brie Bella. A video package is then played, showing the changes that had taken place in Velvet's personality as she got closer to challenging for the title. Women's Title Match: Velvet Sky vs. © Brie BellaVelvet Sky came out to the ring, still fuming from the “Smack Heard 'Round the World” this past Monday on Anarchy. She attacked Brie before the bell, and didn't relent for the entirety of the match. Velvet controlled things from the get-go, but the champion was able to surprise the challenger with an armbar submission out of nowhere. However, Velvet reached the ropes in less then 10 seconds, and before the crowd knew it, she was back in control. Velvet brought things outside the ring, for just a moment, but clearly thought better of it, as she threw Brie back inside the ring, where she locked in the sleeperhold reverse mat slam for the shockingly quick 1-2-3. Velvet Sky pinned Brie Bella after a sleeperhold reverse mat slam in 0:08:04. Rating: ** (Velvet Sky won the HWL Women's Title.)After the match, as the crowd looked on in shock, Velvet left the ring and grabbed the Women's Title. She held it in the air, while walking up the ramp, as the crowd rained boos down on. As Velvet got to the stop of the ramp, she turned and lifted up her skirt, mooning the crowd, before walking through the curtains to the backstage area. INTERVIEW WITH EVAN BOURNE Backstage, Alisha Hicks was seen with the X-Division Champion Evan Bourne, as he prepared to defend the title against Adam Cole. When asked what was going through his mind as he got ready to face Cole again, for the second time in three weeks, Bourne said that he didn't really expect anything differently. Bourne said that he had known how much the X-Division Title meant to Cole, and that after beating him, Cole would find a way to get back into the title match. Bourne said that Cole's actions on Monday night took things to another level, and that he would take great satisfaction in beating Cole again tonight. BACKSTAGE CONFRONTATION The camera showed “The Viper” Randy Orton walking through the backstage area, when he was approached by KURT ANGLE. Angle told Orton that he got lucky Monday night, hitting the RKO after the fact; and that Orton doesn't really know what he's in for tonight. Angle wished Orton good luck before walking away as Orton stared behind him. X-Division Title Match: Adam Cole vs. © Evan BourneThese two men have had a very poisonous relationship in just the last few weeks, and it's all been over the X-Division Title. This past Monday night, Adam Cole attacked Evan Bourne and made his intentions on getting a rematch known, and tonight he got his wish. The stage was set by their last encounter, two weeks ago, and the crowd's interest in this match rose as the bell rang. But, unlike the last bout between them, Cole and Bourne stayed relatively close to the ring in this one. They replaced the hardcore style that the X-Division has become known for, for a more high-flying style, and it caused a lot of cheers – and groans – from the crowd in Kansas City. During the match, Bourne was able to connect with the 450 Splash, but being close to the ropes, Cole got his foot on the rope, breaking the count. After working Cole over more, Bourne set him up for another 450 Splash. But, this time, Bourne played to the crowd just a little too long, and Cole was able to roll out of the way! Long, agonizing moments passed as the fan's anticipation rose along with both athletes. Cole got to his feet first, and waiting as Bourne did the same, before connecting with the Panama Sunrise for the shocking 1-2-3! Adam Cole pinned Evan Bourne with the Panama Sunrise in 0:16:49. Rating: ****After the match, the crowd watched in stunned silence as Cole rolled out of the ring, and grabbed the X-Division Title. Cole made his way up the ramp, laughing and holding the title in the air, as the camera cut to the backstage area...WARNING FROM KURT ANGLE Backstage, Alisha Hicks was seen with both Kurt Angle and Martin Maldonado. Alisha asked if Maldonado felt prepared to face Randy Orton tonight, since he would be making his singles' debut in this match. Maldonado stood silent as Angle told Alisha that Maldonado was a professional, that he had been in the business for quite some time. Angle said that Maldonado honed his craft down in the PCW before being hired as his “associate”, to help rid the HWL of “The Viper”. Angle said that neither he nor Maldonado were concerned with whether or not he was ready tonight. Angle said that the only person that should be worried was Orton himself, because he got a first-hand look at what Maldonado could do inside the ring on Monday night. The two men walked away as the scene faded... CM PUNK WANTS A CHANGE Backstage, Peter Bradshaw is shown in his office, as CM PUNK barges in. Startled, Bradshaw got to his feet and met Punk in the middle of the room, and asked what the meaning of his intrusion was. Punk demanded that Bradshaw change his match tonight; that he would face anyone else on the roster, instead of Anderson. Punk told Bradshaw that everyone saw what Anderson is capable of doing, nearly choking Punk on Monday night. Punk said that he signed a huge contract with Bradshaw, and unless he wanted to pay Punk everything he was owed when he got put on the shelf, Bradshaw would make the change. Bradshaw said that he wouldn't change a thing, and that the match was still going to happen. Punk flew into a rage, pushed Bradshaw down to the floor, and stormed out of the office, leaving the HWL owner in shock. Martin Maldonado vs. Randy OrtonThe Kansas City crowd was hot for this match. Some would say it had more anticipation then tonight's main event, as Orton finally got the chance to step into the ring with the man responsible for the hit-and-run accident that took “The Viper” out of action for weeks during the summer. Maldonado came out to the ring, alone, and after the bell rang, showed that he wasn't in need of outside assistance. Maldonado came out strong, tearing into Orton, using his size advantage to overpower “The Viper”. Maldonado kept on the attack for a better part of the match, until he attempted a Gringo Killer that Orton blocked, whipping Maldonado through the ropes, to the concrete outside the ring. Both men brawled all over the ringside area, with the referee following in-tow, pleading with them to bring the match back into the ring. As they made their way back towards the ring, Orton flung Maldonado into the steel ring steps – for good measure – before rolling into the ring. Maldonado slowly re-entered the ring at the count of seven, but Orton struck soon after, hitting an RKO! Orton went for the cover, but Maldonado placed his foot on the ropes to break the count. Orton slapped his hands on the canvas before turning his attention to the referee, and throwing him through the ropes! With the referee incapacitated, Orton went ballistic on Maldonado, hitting the bigger man with everything he could muster. After a few vicious moments, the referee re-entered the ring, just in time to see Orton connect with a second RKO. Orton made the cover for the 1-2-3! Randy Orton pinned Martin Maldonado with the RKO in 0:18:13. Rating: *** ¾After the match, the crowd in the Sprint Center went crazy for Orton. Orton, meanwhile, stood over Maldonado, staring at his motionless body, soaking in the scene as the cameras went backstage... KEN ANDERSON APOLOGIZES Backstage, Ted Hanson was seen with Ken Anderson before his match with CM Punk. Anderson looked distraught, and he apologized for the events that took place during the steel cage match on Monday night. Anderson said that what happened to Punk was an accident, and that he knew that everyone that stepped into the ring was putting their lives on the line. Anderson said that he did not want to be the cause of permanently injuring someone, or taking away their livelihood. Anderson said that Punk had every right to want to change their match, but that the time for doing that had passed. Anderson said that he would put away all the words that have been said between the two over the past month, and do everything in his power to make sure both men walked out safe at the end of the match, no matter who won or lost. Anderson walked away as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discussed the sudden change in Anderson's attitude. MORE QUESTIONS Also backstage, AJ Styles and Ric Flair were seen making their way towards the stage area, when they are again approached by Alisha Hicks. Hicks said that she had been trying to get answers from someone in the Conglomerate all night long, and that she was getting tired of being given nothing. She asked again, if either Styles or Flair would be willing to give her information about who they met with on Monday night. Flair and Styles stopped, looked at each other for a moment, and then walked past Alisha without saying a word. Alisha threw her microphone down in frustration as the scene went back to ringside. Ken Anderson vs. CM PunkThe semi-main event was up next. Earlier in the evening, Punk was seen asking Peter Bradshaw to get him out of the match, and then attacking the owner when he didn't get what he wanted. Anderson was then seen apologizing for injuring Punk's neck Monday night at Anarchy. But, what took the cake, was when Punk was introduced, he came out to the ring in a neck brace! Punk got on the microphone and said that he was unable to compete tonight, due to doctor's orders. Anderson stood in stared in amazement as Punk pointed to his injured neck and started to leave the ring. He didn't get far as Peter Bradshaw appeared on-stage and said that he had not heard a thing for the medical staff, and according to him, Punk was in fine condition to wrestle. Bradshaw had the match started, and Anderson and Punk went at it tooth-and-nail. Both men pulled no punches inside the ring, as they jockeyed for position. Anderson quickly too the match to the outside, where he whipped Punk's back and neck anywhere into anything that he could find: the guardrails, the steel steps and even the ring post! Punk looked like he was out on his feet as Anderson rolled him back into the ring. Anderson had Punk right where he wanted him, and attempted to hit the Mic Check, but Punk just barely kicked out at 2 ½! Anderson went berserk, and shoved the referee down to the canvas. As Anderson stood over the referee, Punk rolled to safety, and as Anderson turned around, Punk locked in a schoolboy pin attempt, but the referee was unable to count the three. Punk released the hold just as the referee got back to his feet. With both men standing up, Anderson missed with a clothesline, that Punk ducked before connecting with the G.T.S out of nowhere! Punk made the cover for the 1-2-3! CM Punk pinned Ken Anderson with the G.T.S in 0:15:16. Rating: *** ½After the match, Punk crumpled onto the floor as the referee pointed to him as the winner of the match. Punk used the ropes, and struggled to his feet, as the crowd looked on in shock at how Punk won the match. He rolled out of the ring and slowly made his way up the ramp as the camera went backstage... CODY RHODES IS READY Backstage, Alisha Hicks was seen with Cody Rhodes, just moments before his Heavyweight Title match against AJ Styles. Alisha asked how Rhodes felt heading into this match, after being gone for so long with an injury. Rhodes said that everything he did during his time rehabbing from the injury was to get him back to this very spot. Rhodes said that Styles was carrying a title that everyone knew wasn't his; that had the match at Unbreakable taken place, things would've been different tonight. But, Rhodes said that he wasn't dealt a hand he liked, but he played the cards he had. He said that, tonight, he was as ready as he had ever been to step back into the ring; and that he was more than ready to take back what was rightfully his. Rhodes walked away as the scene faded. A preview for the up-coming HWL pay-per-view: WICKED GAMES is shown. The 8-man tournament, to crown a #1 Contender for the Heavyweight Title will take place on November 20th, live from the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, North Carolina! HWL Heavyweight Title Match: Cody Rhodes vs. © AJ Styles (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea)This match may go down in HWL history as one of the greatest ever! Rhodes and Styles both came out tonight like balls of fire, hitting one another with everything they had. They both seemed like their careers depended on the outcome of this match, and neither of them wanted to leave Kansas City with a loss. For 30 minutes, both men put their bodies on the line for the sake of honor and the HWL Heavyweight Title. Styles took the advantage when he started working over Rhodes' groin area, causing the challenger to limp throughout the rest of the match. Styles threw Rhodes to the outside, to get a breather; and while distracting the referee, Flair made his presence known by furthering the damage on the outside! Flair rolled Rhodes back into the ring, and Styles connected with the Styles Clash, but Rhodes was able to kick out just before the three! Styles seemed to have been taken off his game after seeing Rhodes kick out, and eventually Rhodes was able to fight back, bringing the crowd with him. Rhodes fought back, hitting Styles with everything he could muster after enduring the champ's assault. Rhodes connected with a DDT and set Styles up for the Cross Rhodes when KURT ANGLE ran down to the ring and jumped onto the apron! With the referee distracted, MARTIN MALDONADO entered the ring and hit Rhodes with the Gringo Killer! Maldonado pulled Styles across the ring and draped him over Rhodes before leaving the ring. Angle jumped down off the apron, and the referee turned to see the pinfall. The crowd groaned in disbelief as the referee counted the three, and awarded Styles the match. AJ Styles pinned Cody Rhodes via pinfall in 0:30:14. Rating: **** ¾ [Martin Maldonado interfered against Cody Rhodes.]After the match, the crowd roared in disapproval of what they just witnessed. Ric Flair and Chelsea entered the ring, and helped Styles to his feet as Angle made his way up the ramp, staring at the action in the ring. Chelsea grabbed the Heavyweight Title, and gave draped it over Styles's shoulder as Josh Daniels expressed how sickened he was by what just too place. Anarchy went off the air as the other members of the Conglomerate made their way to the ring to celebrate the victory. Card rating: *** ¾

Downfall feedback! But before I do, just an editing note - on the X-Title and World Title results, you didn't have the Adam Cole won the title and AJ Styles retained the title strings. A little thing, but I'm a detail-oriented nerd. Not a huge fan of handicap matches. This one didn't really do much for either side. If Magnus lost, he's supposed to - he's outnumbered 2-1. If Magnus wins, it makes Sebei & Hardy look weak. Match itself was fine - just not huge on the booking. The Alisha Hicks stuff was entertaining throughout the night. Especially the confrontation with Chelsea. Pre-match promo shows that Hagadown was overlooking Edwards/Corino, and it cost his team big time. New tag team champs! Good match, good angle to put the gold on them. I'm a big Velvet Sky fan, so happy to see her win the title. Though she needs to realize that mooning us is not a punishment. Really enjoyed the X Title match. I'm not a huge fan of Adam Cole - seems to be a bit overrated as an indy darling these days, but no problems with how he won the title. Bourne has to be up for a rematch. I really like whiny manipulating Punk. Trying to get out of the match was fun, and shocked he attacked the owner. Figure he might get a suspension out of this. Tough win for Orton. Don't necessarily like seeing the new guy getting pushed lose decisively right away, but it's Orton, so it's not surprising. Weird promo for Anderson. Not sure where it's all going... I can see him snapping after losing the match tonight. Well, Anderson didn't snap tonight, but I still see it coming. Coming out with the neck brace is classic heel stuff. Entertaining match that helped me forget how much I can't stand Anderson in real life. Great match for the main event. Almost got ***** which is always a nice feat. One thing I didn't like, and this is something I've said before, I think you use too much interference in your main events. It usually makes sense in the scheme of booking, but it waters it down as being impactful when you do so too often. It's an easy trap to fall into - I am guilty of it myself. Good show. Glad to see you're posting more, TJ.

PPV time!
Honestly surprised Magnus was so thick headed to go into this match thinking he could win on his own. I thought for sure he had some devious plan but nope, just a big ego.
No!!! I really wanted Otunga & Hero to retain, especially after reading they had a cool tag name - The A-List Knockouts! Damnit, Corino & Edwards! You're makeshift!
No!!! Again!!! I wanted to Brie to retain too but since Velvet mooned us, I'm not THAT mad about it.
A third title change in one night as Adam Cole wins. The odds are really stacking up against AJ Styles tonight.
Orton gets away with throwing the official out of the ring and wins! I'll assume the ref figured he would have a potential riot on his hand if he DQ'd Orton in his hometown. I like this win for Orton though.
Anderson eats a knee and I love it! I wonder if Punk was faking a serious injury after the match or if the unprofessional and dangerous Anderson really hurt him at some point.
Was really pulling for Cody in the main event but leave it to the dirtiest player in the game to have an ace up his sleeve. Getting Angle and Maldonado to assist was a nice surprise. They're reliable... The Conglomerate as a whole, not so much. This may cause a rift within The Conglomerate unless Angle & Maldonado officially join the stable.
Wild and crazy PPV! The buildup to Wicked Games will no doubt be entertaining and of course I'll be reading!

It's funny how I've been posting a lot more, and then I come down with a cold! I'll try to get the next show posted by the end of the weekend. I have the outline written and everything already... it's just getting the time to sit and fill out the card. Hopefully I don't have everyone waiting too long. Thanks for reading!
