Monday Night Anarchy March 21, 2011 Quicken Loans Arena - Cleveland, Ohio Attendance: 12,340 (64%) “Headstrong” blares through the arena as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Cleveland; just six days before the first-ever Wrestleocolypse pay-per-view event. It’s announced that David Hart Smith will face Rob Terry, with their partners in their respective corners; and a battle royal to determine the six participants in Sunday night’s “Golden Opportunity” match. PETER BRADSHAW made his way to the ring to address the events that took place last week, during the non-title match between Mr. Anderson and Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. Bradshaw says that with just six days to go before the Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title, he wanted to put all three participants in the ring at the same time. Bradshaw announces that tonight’s main event would be a tag team match between the team of Alex Shelley and Kurt Angle, against Randy Orton and a partner of his choosing. The crowd goes crazy as JD and SM speculate as to who on the HWL roster trusts Orton enough to team with him tonight… Commercial BreakNatalya vs. SaritaNatalya came out strong tonight, in the “rubber match” of the series between these two Vixens, wearing Sarita down enough to keep her from using any high-risk moves. Natalya went for the cover after connecting with another vicious right hand - the same move that defeated Sarita at Best of the Best - but Sarita was able to kick out of the move before the three-count. Natalya then whipped Sarita into the ropes, but was taken off guard as Sarita got a near-fall with a Sunset flip. Angry about getting embarrassed, Natalya sent Sarita through the ropes, where she continued her assault, even locking on the Sharpshooter on the concrete floor! Natalya rolled into the ring, awaiting the countout, only to be stunned by Sarita rolling back into the ring. Quickly Natalya covered her, and put her legs on the ropes for leverage, as the referee counted the pinfall. After the match, Natalya quickly rolled out of the ring - to a chorus of boos - as Sarita held her back in pain, on the canvas. Natalya defeated Sarita by pinfall in 0:08:32. Rating: *** ¾Commercial BreakCody Rhodes is seen walking through the backstage area, where he is confronted by CM Punk. Punk says that he was surprised to see Rhodes be the one who stepped up to answer his challenge; but that it’s good that Rhodes is finally taking the steps necessary to back up his claims of proving that he didn’t need Ted DiBiase around to be successful. Punk says that things are going to be very interesting, Sunday night, and that he wishes Rhodes all the luck in the world. Punk walks away - headed towards the ring - as Rhodes look on… Kaval vs. CM PunkKaval made his in-ring debut tonight, after being a part of the 15-man battle royal at Best of the Best, stepping into the ring with a determined CM Punk. Surprising, though, Kaval was able to hold his own against Punk, as the two men battle inside and outside the ring, looking for momentum. Punk seemed to take control after the match went outside the ring, and he whipped Kaval head-first into the ring post. Back in the ring, and after hitting a Northern Lights suplex, Punk connected with the “Go To Sleep” for the 1-2-3. CM Punk pinned Kaval with the G.T.S. in 0:06:04. Rating: * ½Commercial BreakComing back from the break, EVAN BOURNE comes down to the ring, getting a great reaction from the crowd. He acknowledges the crowd’s cheering, and says that he appreciates them being behind him since Day One; and that, without the fans, he wouldn’t have continued coming out here, night after night, trying to get himself to where he is now. He says that he feels that his time is right now… to challenger for the X-Division Title. Bourne then issues a challenge to Adam Cole for Sunday night, at Wreslteocolypse. He asks Cole to join him in the ring, so that the match could be accepted man to man, as the crowd got louder with anticipation. Bourne waited in the ring for a few minutes, before ADAM COLE and KYLE O’REILLY jumped out from the behind the barricade, attacking Bourne from behind! They continued their assault on Bourne, as HWL officials rushed down to break it up. Before leaving the ring, Cole grabbed the microphone and told Bourne that he could consider his challenge accepted; and that he’ll see Bourne Sunday night. The crowd booed as Cole and O’Reilly were taken backstage; and the camera focused on Bourne as Anarchy went to commercials. Commercial BreakDavid Hart Smith (w/Tyson Kidd & Natalya) vs. Rob Terry (w/Skip Sheffield)Both men brought a little bit of backup with them to the ring tonight, hoping to even the score before their Tag Team Title rematch at Wrestleocolypse. Rob Terry came out strong in the beginning, paying no mind to Tyson Kidd or Natalya, standing at ringside. Terry had the slight advantage in the power match-up, but it was quickly clear that the power moves would not be enough to take down Smith, due to the constant interference by both Kidd and Natalya. As the match found it’s way outside the ring, all four men eventually got involved, brawling with one another as the referee began to count them out. Before the 10-count, both men found their way back into the ring, but Skip Sheffield wasted no time in evening the odds, throwing “The Freak” the ring bell. Terry used the bell, and went for the cover, but was only able to get a two-count, before Kidd placed Smith’s foot on the rope. Having their partners at ringside made this match more evenly matched then originally thought, and the crowd was ecstatic as the referee called for the bell after the time limit had expired. After the match, Kidd and Sheffield entered the ring, and all four men began brawling once again. Kidd and Terry made their way outside the ring, and continued to brawl up the ramp, as Sheffield and Smith stayed in the ring. Sheffield easily over-powered Smith, and connected with a backpack stunner in the center of the ring. Sheffield stood over Smith as the crowd cheered wildly. Anarchy went to commercials as Sheffield left the ring… Rob Terry and David Hart Smith battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: ** ¼Commercial BreakPETER BRADSHAW comes down to the ring, again, as Anarchy returns. He announces that, this Sunday at Wrestleocolypse, the “Golden Opportunity” match will take place; and six men will have the chance to earn a Heavyweight Title shot at any time for up to six-months. Bradshaw says that, right now, everyone will find out who those six men are going to be. Bradshaw announces that a battle royal will take place, and the final six remaining men will move on to Sunday night, and participate in the “Golden Opportunity” Match. Bradshaw then leaves the ring and heads over to the broadcast table, where he joins JD and SM on commentary. “Golden Opportunity” Qualification Battle RoyalNine men stepped into the ring tonight, knowing that three of them would be left off of the biggest event in the HWL’s short history. They all did what they could to make sure they were the last one standing, but for Yoshi Tatsu, Kaz, and Mr. Anderson - who was sabotaged by Kurt Angle - it just wasn’t their night. After a couple more quick eliminations, the came down to the final four of: Matt Morgan, Eddie Edwards, D’Angelo Dinero and Abyss. Edwards and Abyss quickly eliminated both Morgan and Dinero, leaving just themselves to battle it out for the right to call themselves the winner. For almost 15 minutes, Edwards showed that he was not afraid to go toe-to-toe with “The Monster”, giving Abyss all he could handle. The end of the match saw Abyss try to throw Edwards over the top rope, only to have Edwards hold on and bring himself back in. As Edwards turned around, Abyss met him with a vicious clothesline that sent Edwards tumbling over the top rope, and down to the concrete. The bell rang as Abyss was announced the winner. The crowd booed “The Monster” as he stood in the center of the ring, staring at Peter Bradshaw. Anarchy went to commercials as the two of them continued to look at one another. Abyss won a nine-man battle royal: X O’Reilly threw out Yoshi Tatsu after a flying armbar in 0:01:05. X Anderson threw out Kaz in 0:06:00. X Dinero threw out Anderson in 0:06:03. X O’Reilly threw out Styles in 0:08:00. X M. Morgan threw out O’Reilly after a body slam in 0:09:11. X E. Edwards threw out M. Morgan in 0:12:10. X Abyss threw out Dinero after a belly-to-back suplex in 0:15:14. X Abyss threw out E. Edwards in 0:027:31. Rating: **** ¼ [Kurt Angle interfered against Mr. Anderson.]Commercial BreakRandy Orton/?? Vs. Alex Shelley/© Kurt AngleThe crowd was shocked to see COLT CABANA come out as Randy Orton’s partner tonight. Cabana had just finished a stint in the PCW, and was making his debut in the HWL. No one was as shocked as CM PUNK, who mid-way through the match, made his way to the stage, where he watched in shock as his friend teamed with “The Viper”. Cabana and Orton teamed well together, as did Shelley and Angle, essentially giving neither team an advantage. Cabana wore down Shelley by working on his lower back; even hitting a top-rope Frankensteiner, but only getting two-count. Cabana then locked on the Texas Cloverleaf, in the center of the ring; but after struggling - and not tapping out - Shelley was able to make his way to the ropes, to break up the hold. Secluded across the ring from Angle, Shelley became victim to the Colt .45, but before Cabana could make the cover, Punk began walking down the ramp, with his hands in the air. Cabana took his attention away from Shelley - and Orton jumped down from the apron - and confronted Punk at the bottom of the ramp. As Punk and Orton began to share words, Cabana turned around as Shelley connected with the Sliced Bread #2, and picked up the 1-2-3! After the match, Orton turned around in shock as Shelley and Angle celebrated inside the ring. Punk turned and left the scene as Anarchy went off the air. Alex Shelley & Kurt Angle defeated Randy Orton & Colt Cabana when A. Shelley pinned Cabana with the Sliced Bread #2 in 0:17:05. HWL WRESTLEOCOLYPSE I March 27, 2011 Ford Field - Detroit, Michigan Attendance: 47,924 (74.3%) A huge fireworks display shoots off from the stage, filling Ford Field with light, as the crowd goes crazy. “Canto” by Five Finger Death Punch blares through the stadium, and the camera shows the Elimination Chamber structure hanging from above the ring, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to the biggest event in the history of the Horizon Wrestling League. They announce that, tonight, there are seven huge matches scheduled, including a Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title between Alex Shelley - the winner of the Best of the Best battle royal, Randy Orton, and the Champion, Kurt Angle. #1 Contenders Match Vixen’s Battle RoyalFive Vixens filled the ring tonight, with the chance to face Velvet Sky for the Women’s Title, tomorrow night on Anarchy. The match was a little different tonight, as pinfalls and submissions were allowed as eliminations, but it appeared that none of the women in the ring wanted to waste any time in trying to pin their opponents, or make them submit. Michelle McCool made quick work of Velvet’s partner, Angelina Love for the first elimination. Then, in quick succession, Sarita threw out Natalya, only to have Daffney throw her over seconds later! This left Daffney and McCool in the ring; and McCool wasted no time in tossing Daffney over the top rope, earning her second shot at the Women’s Title. Michelle McCool won a five-woman battle royal: X M. McCool threw out Love after a DDT in 0:01:56. X Sarita threw out Natalya in 0:04:02. X Daffney threw out Sarita in 0:04:32. X M. McCool threw out Daffney after a kick to the head in 0:05:08. Rating: *** ¾Backstage, CM PUNK confronts COLT CABANA in a secluded area of the arena. Punk says that Cabana has no idea how badly he felt betrayed, Monday night, watching Cabana come out as Randy Orton’s partner. Punk says that he thought he and Cabana stood for the same things, and that Cabana knew that Orton didn’t stand for any of the same things. Punk says that felt a little piece of him die, watching one of his best friends turn his back on everything they had grown up believing in. Cabana tells Punk that, if he were in the same situation, and someone was offering you a job, Punk would’ve done the same thing. He says that he didn’t get the chance to prove himself in the “minors”, and that Orton gave him a chance to be in the main event in his first event. Punk reminds Cabana that he lost the match; but Cabana asks Punk how many main events Punk has been in since coming back… or even during his first run. Cabana says that he knows that Orton doesn’t believe in the same things, and that maybe it’s a good thing. He asks Punk how it feels to be waiting for the chance to get what he wants, only to be passed over by someone who is willing to take it for himself. Cabana says that, if Punk had that same mentality, he’d be in the main event, not Randy Orton. Punk shakes his head and starts to walk away, but suddenly attacks Cabana, throwing him into the brick wall of the arena. Punk stomps on Cabana before telling him that he’s going to stick with his values; and one of them is kicking the friend’s ass who turned his back on him. Punk then walks away as the camera focuses on Cabana’s body… … also, backstage, Heavyweight Champion KURT ANGLE is shown entering the arena. JD and SM speculate as to what could be going through the champion’s mind tonight as he gets ready to defend the title against two men, in front of 47.000-plus fans. Steve Corino vs. Jey Uso (w/Tamina)Corino came out strong as the bell rung, using his speed to wear down the slightly heavier Uso. Corino kept up the assault became less and less likely to defend himself. Corino went for a cover, but only got a two-count. While arguing with the referee, Corino fell victim to a super kick that Uso used to slow things down, before rolling out of the ring to catch his breath. Uso caught his breath, as Corino slid out of the ring, and was distracted by Tamina; but Corino pushed her to the concrete - getting a huge reaction from the crowd - before grabbing Uso and whipping him into the ring steps! Corino then connected with a Sliding Lariat that appeared to knock Uso unconscious, but Tamina slowly got Uso back into the ring at the count of eight. Corino kept up the attack, eventually clothes lining Uso back outside the ring, before attempting a baseball slide; but Tamina pulled Uso out of the way, causing Corino to crash down onto the concrete. The move busted Corino up, above the eye, and Uso rolled him back into the ring before hitting a flying elbow drop off the top rope. Uso went for the cover, but Corino was able to kick out at two. Uso now on the attack, and he hit’s a side suplex for another two-count. Uso goes for a clothesline, but Corino counters it into a crucifix, but Uso gets his foot on the ropes. Out of nowhere, Corino hits another Sliding Lariat, but still only gets a two-count. The match continues as the time limit approaches, and Uso ducks a clothesline, and connects with a super kick. The bell sounds, as Uso climbs to the top rope, and the referee waves off the bell, allowing the match to continue. Uso connects with the Superfly Splash for the 1-2-3! Jey Uso pinned Steve Corino with the Superfly Splash in 0:20:06. Rating: *** ½Backstage, Alisha Hicks asks X-Division Champion, Adam Cole, what his reasons were for attacking Evan Bourne, Monday night, on Anarchy. Cole says that there’s only one reason why he does anything; and that’s because he can. Cole says that Evan Bourne came out and challenged him to a title match tonight, because he thought he had earned the right. Cole says that he respects Bourne, and is impressed with what he’s done over the past few weeks, but says that Bourne is not prepared for what’s in store for him tonight. Cole says that he and Kyle O’Reilly are still biding their time before having full control over the HWL. Cole says that, tonight, O’Reilly has the chance to win a shot at the Heavyweight Title; and when that happens, they will hold all the power in the HWL… … also, backstage, The Hart Dynasty says that they are sick and tired of watching Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry walk around with the Tag Team Titles… THEIR Tag Team Titles. David Hart Smith says that Sheffield and Terry got lucky the night they won the titles; and that they haven’t done anything nearly as impressive as champions as The Hart Dynasty did during their first reign. He says that, tonight, it doesn’t matter how many times Sheffield and Terry have walked away with the victory; it just takes three seconds for the belts to come back to their rightful owners. X-Division Title Match Evan Bourne vs. © Adam ColeEvan Bourne came out strong to start the match, trying to take the advantage over the X-Division Champion. This match had a lot of back and forth action between both men; and having Adam Cole fight back seemed to have gotten to Bourne, as he tossed the referee out of the ring in frustration, only to fall victim to a knee in the back, that sent himself to the outside. Cole used the ringside surroundings to his advantage before rolling Bourne into the ring and going for the cover, only to get a two-count. After a few minutes, Bourne was able to fight back, throwing Cole outside the ring. Bourne attempted a cross body block to the outside, only to have Cole move out of the way! Bourne crashed down to the ground as the both men lay outside the ring, with the fans beginning to get behind them. Cole, after a few seconds, rolled Bourne into the ring before connecting with the Panama Sunrise for the 1-2-3, to retain the X-Division Title. After the match, Cole fell to the canvas, celebrating his victory, as the crowd roars with boos. Cole rolls out of the ring, and is met by Kyle O’Reilly on the ramp, as the referee tends to Bourne inside the ring. Adam Cole pinned Evan Bourne with the Panama Sunrise in 0:13:19. Rating: *** ¾ (Adam Cole retained the X-Division Title.)Backstage, Alisha Hicks asks Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry to respond to the comments made by The Hart Dynasty earlier tonight. Sheffield says that he and Terry don’t believe in “luck”, and don’t use the word when they talk about winning the Tag Team Titles. He says that luck has nothing to do with he and Terry being undefeated, and having beaten The Hart Dynasty every time they’ve stepped into the ring with each other. Sheffield says that, even one-on-one, neither David Hart Smith or Tyson Kidd have what it takes to beat either himself or “The Freak”. He says that they made the promise to end their reign, and that’s exactly what they did. Tonight, he says, that they will continue to show their dominance over The Hart Dynasty, and will continue to prove that they are the most dominant team in the Horizon Wrestling League… … also, backstage, Colt Cabana is seen stumbling through the hallways, after the attack by CM Punk, when he is approached by Randy Orton. Orton tells Cabana that he doesn’t understand why Punk was upset with Colt, because, if he were really Cabana’s friend, he would’ve been happy to have him on the roster; but Orton says that Punk must feel threatened by Cabana’s presence, and attacked his “friend” to bully him into thinking he didn’t belong. Orton says that Cabana doesn’t need a friend like Punk. Orton says that it’s something for Cabana to think about, before walking away… HWL Tag Team Title Match The Hart Dynasty (w/Natalya) vs. © Skip Sheffield/Rob TerryThe Hart Dynasty came out strong tonight, trying to take away the size advantage of the champions. David Hart Smith attacked Skip Sheffield right as the bell rang, and he and Tyson Kidd were able to keep the advantage for the better part of the match. Sheffield fought back, trying to even things up, but Natalya tripped him up as he ran into the ropes. The distraction gave Tyson Kidd time to roll Sheffield up for a near-fall. After trying to fight back, again, Sheffield made the tag to Rob Terry who connected with two spine buster slams on Kidd, only to come away with a two-count. Terry kept the offense going, but also fell victim to Natalya’s interference from outside the ring. This time, Kidd connected with a chop block, taking out Terry’s knee, before tagging into David Hart Smith. Smith, the bigger of the challengers, used his strength to take control of the hobbling “Freak” before connecting with a super kick that resulted in a two-count. Smith made the tag, back to Kidd, before hitting the Springboard Hart Attack. Kidd went for the pin, but Terry was able to get his foot on the rope. After a dropkick, Kidd connected with the Springboard elbow drop to pick up the victory, and win back the HWL Tag Team Titles. After the match, Kidd, Smith and Natalya celebrated the victory as the crowd roared with boos. The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated Skip Sheffield & Rob Terry when T. Kidd pinned Sheffield with the Springboard Elbowdrop in 0:16:13. Rating: *** (The Hart Dynasty won the HWL Tag Team Titles.) [Natalya interfered against Skip Sheffield & Rob Terry.]Backstage, Cody Rhodes tells Alisha Hicks that he is fully aware of the situation circling CM Punk. Rhodes says that he sympathizes with Punk, because he knows what its like to have a friend turn his back on him, but says that he won’t accept Punk using that as an excuse when he loses tonight. Rhodes says that Punk issued the challenge, and that Rhodes was in Detroit to answer that challenge, and come out with a victory. He says that, whatever Punk wants to do with Colt Cabana - or Randy Orton - will have to wait until after tonight… … Also, backstage, Tim Hanson asks Alex Shelley what’s going through his mind as he prepares for the Heavyweight Title Match, later tonight. Shelley says that this tonight, at the biggest event the HWL has ever had, he’s going to be part of the main event in front of 47,000 people. He says that, a year ago, he would have never imagined that, but that he’s trying not to get caught up in the moment. Shelley says that tonight, he not only has a chance to walk out with the Heavyweight Title, but he has one more chance to step into the ring with Randy Orton. Shelley says that he agrees with CM Punk; that Orton doesn’t deserve to be in this match, because he has done nothing to deserve it. But, Shelley says, that if he walks out with the title, whether he pins Orton or Kurt Angle, he’ll feel vindicated. Cody Rhodes vs. CM PunkColt Cabana wasted very little time before making his way down to the ring, just seconds after the bell rang. Rhodes and Punk were very evenly matched, passing the advantage back and forth throughout the match. Eventually, Punk took control of the match, and went for the G.T.S., only to have Rhodes slide out and connect with a beautiful dropkick. Rhodes then went after Punk’s legs, trying to take away Punk’s ability to hit the G.T.S later on. Rhodes locked in a figure-four, but Punk quickly grabbed the ropes to break the hold. Punk slid outside to get the feeling back into his leg, and motioned for Cabana from across the ring, only to roll back inside as Colt started to approach. Punk took over control, briefly, before Cabana pulled down the top rope, causing Punk to crash down to the concrete at ringside. Cabana assaulted Punk while the referee tried to separate them; demanding that Cabana leave ringside. Cabana rolled Punk back into the ring, before making his way up the ramp, watching as Rhodes hit the Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory. After the match, Rhodes rolled out of the ring and watched as Cabana ran back to ringside, grabbing a chair, and entering the ring to assault Punk with it! HWL officials rushed down to the ring, breaking up the assault, and backing Cabana into a corner. Rhodes watched from the stage as Cabana was escorted out of the ring, and Punk was checked on. Cody Rhodes pinned CM Punk with the Cross Rhodes in 0:10:02. Rating: *** ½ [Colt Cabana interfered against CM Punk.]Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss a video clip of Kurt Angle attacking Mr. Anderson, Monday night, during the battle royal to determine the participants for the “Golden Opportunity” Match. Backstage, Tim Hanson asks Kurt Angle for a comment about his attack on Mr. Anderson, Monday night. Angle says that his reason was simple: two weeks ago, in his hometown of Pittsburgh, Anderson had help from Randy Orton; and that Orton’s interference was the only way Anderson could’ve beaten Angle. He says that he attacked Anderson, Monday night, to get even… nothing more. He says that he was protecting himself, because he wouldn’t stand by and just allow someone to take advantage of him, or to use outside interference to beat him. Angle says that Anderson knows he couldn’t beat Angle in a fair fight. But, Angle says that he has bigger things to worry about tonight, like retaining the Heavyweight Title. Golden Opportunity Match Abyss vs. Eddie Edwards vs. D’Angelo Dinero vs. Matt Morgan vs. Kyle O’Reilly vs. AJ StylesEddie Edwards and Matt Morgan started things off tonight, as the crowd looked on in shock at the structure before them. Morgan had control before Edwards connected with a low-blow just before the two- minute mark. AJ Styles’ pod opened, and he quickly attacked Edwards from behind, taking over as Morgan regained his composure. The three of them continued to brawl until “The Pope’s” door opened; but Morgan quickly connected with a forearm to the back, welcoming Dinero into the match. Dinero and Morgan fought on one side of the ring as Styles and Edwards fought on the other. Eventually Morgan and Styles switched, and AJ nearly pinned Dinero after an inside cradle. The next entrant was Abyss, who wasted no time going after Dinero, who was closest to him. Kyle O’Reilly was the last entrant, as the Chamber became filled with all six participants. All six men battled it out, all over the structure, until Abyss connected with a splash from the second rope onto Edwards, securing the first pinfall - and elimination - of the match. Abyss quickly turned his attention back to “The Pope”, and continued the fight. D’Angelo Dinero and Matt Morgan corner themselves off, and the crowd watches as “The Pope” climbs to the top of the cage, before hitting a flying bulldog onto Morgan(!!) Dinero goes for the cover, but it’s broken up by AJ Styles, who is subsequently attacked by Abyss, who throws Styles onto the steel outside the ring. Abyss climbs to the top of the cage, grabbing Dinero up by the hair, before hitting an overhead belly-to-belly suplex onto the canvas(!!) Styles, getting back to his feet, pounces on Dinero put only gets a two-count. Moment later, across the ring, Matt Morgan grabs Kyle O’Reilly and hit’s the Hellevator, covering him for the second elimination. At the 28:00 mark, AJ Styles connected with the Dominator on Dinero, but only got a two-count. Frustrated, Styles grabbed the referee and hit him with a gut buster(!!) At the 30:00 mark, Styles, still on fire from with anger, hit the Styles Clash on Dinero, making the third elimination of the match. He then caught Morgan by surprise, hitting an Asai moonsault into an inverted DDT, pinning Morgan for the fourth elimination. AJ then focused on the legs and lower body of Abyss, locking in a figure-four that Abyss finally got out of after 13 seconds. Styles then locked in the chinlock deathlock, but Abyss was able to quickly grab the ropes, breaking up the hold. Styles got into the referee’s face, as Abyss reached for a piece of broken plexiglass; and as Styles returned to continue the match, Abyss crashed the plexiglass over Styles’ head(!!) Abyss slowly draped his arm over Styles as the referee counted to three! After the match, the referee rolled Abyss off of Styles as the Chamber slowly began to raise up from the ring. The crowd went crazy as medical officials rushed down to tend to both men. Abyss won a six-man Elimination Chamber match: X Abyss defeated E. Edwards after a splash from the second rope in 0:16:32. X M. Morgan defeated K. O’Reilly with the Hellevator in 0:24:16. X Styles defeated Dinero after the Styles Clash in 0:30:11. X Styles defeated M. Morgan after an Asai moonsault into an inverted DDT in 0:30:17. X Abyss defeated Styles in 0:34:04. Rating: *****A preview for REBELLION is shown, as “The Fad” by Chevelle plays in the background. The vent will take place on April 24th, 2011, live from the Oklahoma City Arena in Oklahoma City! Backstage, Alisha Hicks asks for a comment from Randy Orton before the main event. Orton talks about all the people in the back, who say that he doesn’t belong in this match, because he hasn’t done anything to prove he belongs. He says that he has done something that no one else in the HWL was willing to do: go out and take what he wanted. Orton says that everyone in the back is so closed-up, and wanting to follow the rules set in place by Peter Bradshaw; when the rules have done nothing but kept Orton back. He says that he warned Kurt Angle, months ago, that he would be coming after the Heavyweight - by any means possible - and, that tonight, that warning is something Angle can’t ignore. Orton says that with all the talk of who should, and shouldn’t, be in this match, everyone is forgetting that Alex Shelley - at his best - was only a second-rate tag team wrestler. He says that, last month, Shelley proved that anyone could win the Best of the Best battle royal; but that his true lack ability will be highlighted tonight… HWL Heavyweight Title - Triple Threat Match Alex Shelley vs. Randy Orton vs. © Kurt AngleThe stadium was going crazy, with anticipation, as the three men were introduced before the match. CM PUNK wasted little time, coming down to the ring, distracting Randy Orton; allowing Alex Shelley to get a surprising amount of offense in on his former tag team partner. Shelley tagged out to Angle after Orton as able to reverse a clothesline attempt - and began arguing with Punk outside the ring. Angle quickly entered the ring and tossed Orton outside, where he and Punk began to brawl outside the ring. Punk rolled Orton back into the ring as Angle began his offense. But, Punk wasn’t finished tonight, as he attempted to throw Angle a pair of brass knuckles, only to have Orton intercept them and punch Angle in the jaw. After only getting a two-count, Orton again began the verbal fight with Punk at ringside. Slowly, Angle was able to make the tag to Shelley, but Orton kept up the offense, hitting an RKO, but only getting a two-count as Shelley put his foot on the ropes. Orton continued the offense, while Shelley tried to fight back, but Punk grabbed Orton by the ankle, allowing Shelley to snap Orton’s neck off the top rope, before hitting the Sliced Bread #2, but only getting two-count himself. Angle then saw his opportunity, connecting with the Olympic Slam on Shelley - who rolled out of the ring in pain - before hitting a dropkick on Orton. Angle quickly locked on the Ankle Lock; and while Orton reached for the ropes, CM Punk pulled the bottom rope away from him, causing “The Viper” to tap out in pain! After the match, Punk watched as Angle was awarded the Heavyweight Title, and celebrated by climbing the ropes and holding the title in the air. Monday Night Anarchy March 28, 2011 The Palace at Auburn Hills - Auburn Hills, Michigan Attendance: 13,908 (63%) Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, 24 hours after successfully defending the Heavyweight Title in a Triple Threat Match against Alex Shelley and Randy Orton. He says that he wouldn’t be like the other champions, who have come out to the ring, after defending their belts under similar circumstances, and say that the odds were stacked against them; and they beat the odds. Angle said that he has no reason to say that the odds were stacked against him, because they weren’t. He says that Alex Shelley earned his shot at the title, but was also handed a perfect chance to get retribution on someone he once called a friend. And, Angle said that he noticed the interference by CM Punk, but says that Randy Orton deserved it, for brain-washing Colt Cabana into costing Punk his match earlier in the evening. Angle says that, if reality, the odds were stacked against Randy Orton, but only because he stacked them himself. Angle says that all he did was take advantage of it, like any other champion would do. He says that now, after Wrestleocolypse, he knows that there’s a seven-foot monster, backstage, just waiting for the chance to take the Heavyweight Title from him. Angle says that, whenever and wherever that Abyss wants a shot, Angle will be ready to put up a fight. Randy Orton’s music begins to play as “The Viper” makes his way down to the ring. Orton congratulates Angle for his retention of the Heavyweight Title, but warns Angle to take that praise with a grain of salt. Orton says that, just a few moments ago, Angle even admitted that the odds were stacked against Orton; making it impossible for him to get a fair shot at the Heavyweight Title. Orton admits that he may have played a part in the outcome of CM Punk’s match last night, but that it doesn’t matter anymore, because Punk bagged his bags and went back home. Orton says that, unlike Punk, if something doesn’t go his way, he’ll keep fighting until he gets what he wants; and what he wants is a fair shot at Angle and the Heavyweight Title. Orton says that Angle can worry about Abyss for the next six months; but that Orton is ready to take the belt from him tonight. Orton drops the microphone, and Angle drops the belt, as the crowd begins to roar. But before anything can happen, Peter Bradshaw comes out to the stage, and tells Orton that if he wants a match with Angle, it’ll have to wait. Bradshaw says that Angle is already booked in a match, against Mr. Anderson, later tonight; so if both of them want to settle things, there is no better place to do it then at REBELLION. Bradshaw leaves the stage, and Orton and Angle stare at each other inside the ring, as Anarchy goes to commercials. Commercial BreakWomen’s Title Match Michelle McCool vs. © Velvet SkyMichelle McCool earned her second chance to face Velvet Sky for the Women’s Title, last night, after winning a Vixen’s Battle Royal at Wrestleocolypse. But tonight, again, she was unable to use that chance to take the belt off the champion, as Velvet hit the Beauty Mark to pick up the victory. After the match, Daffney made her way to the stage, and says she has been biding her time, staying out of the public eye for some time, waiting for the chance to come and take the title away from the “beautiful” champion. She says that she and Velvet have a long history in the HWL, but never once, has the Women’s Title played a part in it. Daffney tells Velvet to keep that in mind, and watches as McCool attacks Velvet from behind, before leaving the stage. McCool leaves the ring to a roar of boos, as the referee tends to Velvet in the ring. Velvet Sky pinned Michelle McCool with the Beauty Mark in 0:13:46. Rating: ** (Velvet Sky retained the HWL Women’s Title.)Commercial BreakBackstage, Mr. Anderson - with Ric Flair, AJ Styles and Chelsea - tells Alisha Hicks that he knows perfectly well, the reason behind Kurt Angle’s attack on him, last week. Anderson says that, two weeks ago, Angle got lucky when Randy Orton interfered in their match, because he knew that Anderson was capable of beating him in the center of the ring. And, because of that, Angle did whatever he could to keep Anderson from winning a shot at the Heavyweight Title. Anderson says that tonight, he will have another chance to prove how pathetic the Heavyweight Champion really is without someone coming to the ring to save him. Anderson says that, just like Randy Orton, he wants a fair shot at Kurt Angle tonight; and if Orton decides to show up at ringside, then he will have to deal with it himself. Colt Cabana vs. Cody RhodesTwenty-four hours after costing CM Punk his match at Wrestleocolypse, Colt Cabana stepped into the ring with the man he helped win. This was a very fast paced match, with Cabana hitting a lot of high-risk offense. The tide turned when Rhodes turned a top-rope Frankensteiner into a power bomb for a two-count. Cabana rolled outside the ring, and the match continued until Rhodes threw Cabana into the guardrail, apparently injuring his lower back. Rhodes rolled back into the ring as Cabana was counted out. After the match, the referee went to check on Cabana, as Kyle O’Reilly ran down to the ring and attacked Rhodes from behind! Before Rhodes could retaliate, O’Reilly left the ring, having left his mark. Rhodes fumed inside the ring as Anarchy went to commercials. Cody Rhodes defeated Colt Cabana by countout in 0:10:34. Rating: ** ¼Commercial BreakX-Division Champion, Adam Cole comes out to the ring, and says that he once again proved that no matter how much the fans like his opponent, and no matter how hard they cheer for them during their match, they just don’t have what it takes to beat him. Cole says he’s already made a mockery of the longest-reigning X-Division Champion in the history of the HWL; and last night, he taught Evan Bourne a lesson about stepping out of his comfort zone before it was time. Cole says that he’s starting to think there aren’t many more people he has to go through before taking over “The Pope’s” record. He says that he’s not out to waste any time, because he doesn’t feel like wasting his breath so that the fans of Auburn Hills can hear him talk; but, he says, that he’s out to do something that everyone seems to be doing nowadays: issuing another open challenge. He says that he’s already beaten the former champion, and the top contender for the belt. and wants to know who wants the next shot. Yoshi Tatsu’s music hits, as he wastes no time getting down to the ring, with a microphone of his own. Through broken English, Tatsu says that he has paid his dues, and has done everything he needed to do to try and make a name for himself in the HWL. He says that he has been fed up with the lack of opportunity he has been given over the past few eeks, and that he is going to take it himself. Tatsu says that he accepts Cole’s challenge, and wants a title shot at REBELLION. Cole begins to laugh, hysterically, at Tatsu, as the crowd roars with boos. Cole says that, he thinks Yoshi accepted his challenge, but isn’t quite sure, because he thought he was watching a real-life Godzilla movie. Cole says that Tatsu has paid his dues, but because he has no real talent, he hasn’t been able to do anything more then be half of a lacking tag team, with Kaz. Cole gets closer into Yoshi’s face while, from the ramp, Kyle O’Reilly slides behind Yoshi and attacks him with a steel pipe! The crowd roars with boos as O’Reilly celebrates the attack. Cole gets down on the canvas and tells Yoshi that, if he can deal with what he has coming to him, then he can have his title shot at REBELLION. From the ramp, Kaz runs down, forcing Cole and O’Reilly to scatter, causing the fans to cheer. Kaz tends to Yoshi as JD and SM remind the at-home audience that they must now compete in a tag-team match, as Anarchy goes to commercials. Commercial BreakYoshi Tatsu/Kaz vs. The American WolvesThe Auburn Hills crowd was shocked as Davey Richards - Eddie Edwards’ partner from Ring of Honor - debuted tonight, reforming The American Wolves. They found themselves in a good position to capitalize on Yoshi Tatsu’s attack before the match, but Kaz fought with everything he had to even the score, while Yoshi valiantly fought through the injury. The Wolves resorted to underhanded tricks, after failing to put away either of their opponents in legit ways; but even those tactics weren’t enough to give themselves a victory. Both Richards and Edwards began to physically assault the referee after getting, what they felt, were numerous slow counts. After the final near-fall, Edwards connected with a belly-to-belly suplex on the referee, and was quickly disqualified by another official, who came down to take over the match. After the bell sounded, The Wolves went to attack Yoshi, but Kaz went to the broadcast table and grabbed a chair, evening things up. The Wolves left the ring, to a roar of boos as Kaz stood over Yoshi in the center of the ring. Yoshi Tatsu & Kaz defeated The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) when Y. Tatsu defeated E. Edwards by disqualification in 0:32:07. Rating: **** ¼Commercial BreakBackstage, Peter Bradshaw tells Alish Hicks that, due to the “utterly disturbing” altercation he just saw between Adam Cole and Yoshi Tatsu, there will be a Tornado Tag Team Match next week, between the teams of Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz and Kyle O’Reilly and Adam Cole. Non-Title Match Jey Uso (w/Tamina) vs. © Adam ColeAfter hearing that Peter Bradshaw signed him to a tag match next week, Adam Cole came out to take on Jey Uso. Cole had control for the majority of the match, even after Tamina interfered and was not ejected from ringside. Cole managed to come back from the attack, and connect with the Panama Sunrise. But before he could get the pinfall, Tamina re-entered the ring and assaulted him with a steel chair! The referee quickly called for the bell as Jey Uso slowly made his way to his feet and rolled out of the ring - with Tamina - as Cole got up, looking for a fight. After the match, Cole got on the microphone and said that he didn’t care about the tag team match that Bradshaw had signed for next week, because he and O’Reilly were going to do the same thing to Yoshi Tatsu as they did earlier tonight. Adam Cole defeated Jey Uso by disqualification in 0:12:40. Rating: ** ½ [Tamina interfered against Adam Cole.]Commercial BreakNon-Title Match Mr. Anderson (w/Ric Flair & Chelsea) vs. © Kurt AngleMr. Anderson was out for payback tonight, as he got his second chance against Kurt Angle. But, “The Viper” Randy Orton did not heed Anderson’s warning earlier in the show, and made his way to ringside seconds after the bell rung. Orton stalked Angle from outside the ring, making his way to the time-keeper’s table, and grabbing a chair as Ric Flair pulled down the top rope, causing Angle to fall to concrete at ringside. Anderson made his way outside the ring as the two men began to brawl, until Orton bent the chair around Angle’s back, causing the referee to call for the disqualification. Orton quickly dropped the chair and began brawling with Anderson and Flair as the crowd went crazy. HWL officials rushed down to the ring and broke up the fight, as the referee tended to Angle outside the ring. Anarchy goes off the air with Anderson and Orton screaming at each other. Monday Night Anarchy April 4, 2011 IWireless Center - Moline, Illinois Attendance: 4,324 (47%) The show opens as “Headstrong” plays through the arena, and Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Moline for the One Year Anniversary edition of Monday Night Anarchy. Peter Bradshaw starts off the show, coming down to the ring, and announcing that there will be an evening-long celebration of the last year in the Horizon Wrestling League. He says that, throughout the evening, there will be awards given out to those men and women who were responsible for the longest title reigns of the past year; and a special award for the match of the year. Bradshaw says that tonight is going to be a special night, and wishes the fans in Moline enjoy themselves. Bradshaw leaves the ring as Anarchy goes to commercials. Commercial BreakD’Angelo Dinero vs. Matt MorganBefore the match could even get started, ADAM COLE made his way down to the ring, and quickly became a distraction to “The Pope”. Dinero tried to ignore the X-Division Champion, but Cole threw a chair into the ring, which Morgan used to crack over Dinero’s head. The referee threatened to disqualify “The Blueprint”, and while he was busy with Morgan, he didn’t see Cole choking Dinero from outside the ring. Morgan got back on the offensive, and put Dinero in the corner, where he repeatedly choked Dinero, until the referee had seen enough and called for the bell. After the match, Morgan left the ring as Cole slid in from behind and hit the Panama Sunrise on Dinero. He stood over Dinero, while the crowd booed, as Anarchy went to commercials. D’Angelo Dinero defeated Matt Morgan by disqualification in 0:03:57. Rating: ** ¼ [Adam Cole interfered against D’Angelo Dinero.]Commercial BreakBackstage, Velvet Sky, the Women’s Champion, tells Alisha Hicks that she really wasn’t surprised by the fact that Daffney came out and demanded a title match against her; that it was only a matter of time. Velvet says that she and Daffney do have a long history, and have had some of the toughest matches she’s been in throughout her career. Velvet says that she has always said that she was going to be the best champion she could be, and would defend the belt whenever and wherever there was a challenge. She says that, if Daffney wants a match at REBELLION, for the title, then she will have to be at her absolute best to take the title away from her. Out, on the stage, Peter Bradshaw walks out with an award in-hand. He announces that the first award of the night will be going to the woman who was responsible for holding the Women’s Title longer than anyone in the history of the HWL: Natalya. Natalya comes out to accept the award, and says that there was a reason she was the longest reigning champion in the history of the HWL: because no one in the back could beat her. She says it’s only a matter of time before the HWL Women’s Title is back around her waist, and that whoever wins at REBELLION will have to keep eyes in the back of their head. Angelina Love vs. DaffneyA week after declaring herself as the new number one contender; and just moments after hearing Velvet Sky accept her challenge, Daffney stepped into the ring to take on Sky’s friend, Angelina Love. This match was very evenly fought, as both Vixens attempted their finishing moves, only to get two-counts on their attempts. Daffney nearly got herself disqualified for not breaking at the count of four, but then quickly hit the Lobotomy to pick up the victory. After the match, Daffney stood over Love for a moment before rolling out of the ring and making her way up the ramp. Daffney pinned Angelina Love with the Lobotomy in 0:14:40. Rating: ****Commercial BreakKyle O’Reilly comes down to the ring, in his ring attire, and says that he has something to get off his chest. He stands in the center of the ring, as the crowd boos, waiting for the chance to speak. After the crowd quiets down, O’Reilly says that he had a reason for doing what he did last week, attacking Cody Rhodes. O’Reilly says that he has been tired of watching Rhodes get all the chances that O’Reilly feels he should have instead. He says that he’s a better wrestler - and overall athlete - then Rhodes, and that his two losses to Rhodes have been nothing short of miracles. O’Reilly says that, at REBELLION, he wants a match against Rhodes, to prove that he truly is better. This brings out Cody Rhodes, who gets a huge reaction from the crowd. Rhodes comes down to the ring, and tells O’Reilly that, instead of waiting until REBELLION, he should “knock his lights out” right now. But, Rhodes says, that since he’s already beaten O’Reilly twice in the past, he’ll make him wait a couple more weeks. Rhodes tells O’Reilly to go back, and until April 24th, think hard about who really is the better wrestler; and that at REBELLION, Rhodes will answer that question, once and for all, after beating O’Reilly for the third straight time. Rhodes then leaves, as O’Reilly stands in the center of the ring, fuming. Commercial BreakPeter Bradshaw comes back on-stage, as Anarchy returns from commercials, and announces the second award of the evening. Bradshaw calls out the HWL Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty, and awards them for having the longest reign as champions for the year. David Hart Smith says that he and Tyson Kidd have been saying it since they first won the belts: that they are the absolute best tag team in the history of the Horizon Wrestling League; and tonight, they - and Natalya - have proven that the Hart Dynasty truly is the dominant force in professional wrestling. They leave the stage, as JD and SM discuss the events that took place last week, between Yoshi Tatsu and X-Division Champion, Adam Cole… Yoshi Tatsu/Kaz vs. © Adam Cole/Kyle O’ReillyO’Reilly came out to the ring, wanting to make a statement by challenging Cody Rhodes to a match at REBELLION; and he wanted to add to that statement with a victory over Tatsu and Kaz tonight. However, his or Cole’s opponents would not go down without a fight that went past the initial time limit. Both teams fought hard, and the crowd was really into this match, as their were plenty of high-risk moves and countless near falls. The end of the match saw Tatsu connect with the Roundhouse Kick on the X-Division Champion, leading to the 1-2-3 as Kyle O’Reilly was unable to make the save. After the match, JD and SM discussed what kind of momentum the victory gives Tatsu, heading into their title match at REBELLION. Yoshi Tatsu & Kaz defeated Kyle O’Reilly & Adam Cole when Tatsu pinned A. Cole with the Roundhouse Kick in 0:24:56. Rating: **** ¼Commercial BreakBackstage, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards are seen with Alisha Hicks. Edwards says that, ever since he made his debut in the Horizon Wrestling League, he has been the laughing stock of the company. He says that, having not won a match since he first came in, is something that he thinks is very embarrassing; but that it doesn’t show what he’s truly capable of. Edwards says that he was waiting for the right moment to prove that he’s much, much better then his record shows, and that that moment came last week, when Davey Richards made his debut. Edwards says that, yes, they weren’t successful in their first match, but that he nor Richards would settle for anything less then challenging The Hart Dynasty for the Tag Team Titles in the very near future. Peter Bradshaw returns to the stage, and announces the award for the longest-reigning X-Division Champion, calling out D’Angelo Dinero to accept. Dinero came out, still showing signs from the earlier attack by Adam Cole, and says that it was an honor to hold the X-Division Title for as long as he did. He says that it was something that he would cherish forever, and that he’ll remember it - always - when he looks at his award. But, Dinero says, that now he is able to focus his attention on bigger things, like the Heavyweight Title. Dinero slowly leaves the stage as JD and SM discuss the attack by Cole earlier in the show, and what happen next between the two men… X-Division Match Kaval vs. Tyson Kidd (w/Natalya)Earlier in the night, Tyson Kidd was awarded for being one-half of the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in the history of the HWL; but tonight, he stepped into the ring against the longest-reigning Television Champion from Premiere Championship Wrestling, Kaval. This match went all over the arena, and involved weapons and interference from Natalya as well. Kaval hit the Warrior’s Way, onto the concrete floor, to pick up a huge upset over the current Tag Team Champion, and to make a statement in the standings for the X-Division Title. Kaval pinned Tyson Kidd with the Warrior’s Way in 0:12:17. Rating: **** ¼ [Natalya interfered against Kaval.]Commercial BreakComing back from the back, Peter Bradshaw joins Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels at the broadcast table, and announces that the final award of the night will go to the man who held the Heavyweight Title longer than anyone else over the course of the last year, before introducing Desmond Wolfe, who appears on the Jumbotron. Wolfe says that it is an honor to be recognized, but that he would hope he’d still be Heavyweight Champion if he didn’t have to call his journey short. JD asks how Wolfe has been doing since leaving the company in December, and Wolfe says that he is just enjoying his time in London, but that he has been trying to keep up with the product as much as possible. SM then asks what Wolfe’s take is on the current state of the HWL. Wolfe says that he’s saddened to see a lot of the familiar faces have left the company, but says that the current crop of “kids” coming from the PCW should be able to make up for the losses in no time. JD thanks Wolfe for his time, before sending things back to the ring. Mr. Anderson (w/Chelsea & Ric Flair) vs. Randy OrtonAfter last week’s interference allowed Kurt Angle do defeat Mr. Anderson, Anderson wanted a chance to get into the ring with the defacto Number One Contender. The fans were looking forward to a fight, and they certainly got one; but they also got a surprise as “The Monster” Abyss made his way to ringside during the early portion of the contest. Abyss set his sights on “The Viper”, taking offense to the comments made by Orton, last week, essentially making this match a Handicap Match. Being able to fight off the interference by Abyss, Orton connected with the RKO, but only got a two-count. Orton quickly got into the referee’s face, complaining about a slow count, only to fall victim to an inside cradle that Anderson used to still a victory! After the match, Anderson rolled out of the ring as Orton got his feet, fuming mad. Orton demanded that Anderson come back to the ring, but did not see Abyss enter behind him. As Orton turned around, Abyss lifted him up with the Black Hole Slam in the center of the ring! Anarchy goes off the air as Abyss stands over Orton in the center of the ring. Monday Night Anarchy April 11, 2011 Scottrade Center - St. Louis, Missouri Attendance: 17,766 Commentators: Josh Daniels & Scott Michaels
“Headstrong” blares through the arena, and fireworks shoot from the stage, as Josh Daniels welcomes everyone to Monday Night Anarchy. It is announced, that tonight, Jey Uso will get the chance of a lifetime, when he steps into the ring against Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle, in a non-title match.
Randy Orton’s music hits, as “The Viper” comes out to the ring. The hometown crowd gives him a mixed reaction as he grabs a microphone. Orton says that, last week, he simply wanted to send a message to Kurt Angle: that he could do whatever the Heavyweight Champion could do, only better. Orton says that he was out-numbered last week because Abyss couldn’t keep his nose out of other people’s business. He says he was still able to fight off “The Monster”, and hit the RKO on Anderson. But, because of the ineptitude of the officials in the HWL, Anderson was able to kick out. Orton says that, all of sudden, he finds himself rolled up, and the referee has no problem counting to three! Orton says that he’ll deal with the officials later, because he has a bigger issue with the fact that Abyss interjected himself in Orton’s match. He says, because of that, Abyss has now made himself a problem; and that after Orton takes care of Kurt Angle at REBELLION, he will gladly turn his sights on the Golden Opportunity winner.
Commercial Break
Cody Rhodes pinned Steve Corino with the Cross Rhodes in 0:15:53. Rating: **** ½ [Colt Cabana interfered against Cody Rhodes.]
Last week, Cody Rhodes’s fate was sealed for REBELLION, when he accepted a challenge by Kyle O’Reilly for the April 24th pay-per-view. Tonight, he stepped into the ring with Steve Corino, who was coming off a loss to Jey Uso at Wrestleocolypse. Both men stopped at nothing to ensure themselves victory; which for Rhodes, having to deal with Colt Cabana - who came down to the ring with a chair in-hand. Corino clotheslined Rhodes outside the ring, and distracted the referee as Cabana hit a vicious chairshot to Rhodes’s back, before sinking away from the ring. Corino brought Rhodes back into the ring, and worked over his injured back, before connecting with the Sliding Lariat. Corino went for the cover, and was shocked when he was only able to get a two-count! Corino argued with the referee, allowing Rhodes enough time to get to his feet and catch his bearings, before stunning Corino with the Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory!
After the match, Colt Cabana came back into the ring, and once again attacked Rhodes with the steel chair! The referee tried to grab the chair out of Cabana’s hand, but he was pushed to the canvas, as Cabana continued his assault. Eventually, HWL officials came down to the ring, causing Cabana to drop the chair and leave the ring. The crowd booed while the officials tended to Rhodes inside the ring, and Anarchy goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Backstage, Alisha Hicks caught up with X-Division Champion, Adam Cole, wanting to know why he attacked D’Angelo Dinero last week. Cole chuckles to himself before saying that he attacked D’Angelo Dinero because he could attack D’Angelo Dinero. Cole says that he’s the X-Division Champion for a reason: because when he wants to do something, he gets it done. He says that, tonight, Dinero will face the same fate as Wrestleocolypse.
[Non-Title Match] Velvet Sky pinned Sarita with the Beauty Mark in 0:19:51. Rating: *** ¾
Sarita, the former Women’s Champion, coming off a series of hard-fought battles against Natalya, stepped into the ring with the champion tonight, hoping to get herself back on the right track. Velvet Sky was looking to get a strong victory as she heads on a course towards REBELLION, where she will defend the title against her fierce rival, Daffney. This match had the crowd’s attention for nearly the entire length of the time limit, with both Vixens pulling out all the stops to pick up a victory. The end of the match saw Velvet connect with the Beauty Mark for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Natalya ran down to the ring and attacked Velvet Sky from behind, sending her to the concrete outside the ring! As Velvet struggled to her feet, Natalya locked Sarita into the Sharpshooter, in the center of the ring! She torques back on Sarita’s legs, putting loads of pressure on her lower back, until Velvet gets back into the ring and breaks up the hold. Velvet begins to put the boots to Natalya, but Natalya rolls out the ring and heads backstage, taunting the Women’s Champion. Velvet glares at Natalya, begging her to come back into the ring, as Anarchy goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning back, Alisha Hick catches up with Natalya, and asks her why she attacked Sarita just moments ago. Natalya says that she wanted to give Sarita one final blow, to let her know that she’ll never be as good as Natalya. She says that, last week, she was acknowledged as the greatest Women’s Champion in the history of the HWL. She warns Velvet Sky and Daffeny, saying that she’s coming for her title, and it doesn’t matter who has it after REBELLION.
AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson, Ric Flair and Chelsea come down to the ring to jeers from the crowd. Ric Flair says that Styles and Anderson have continually been stepped over and pushed aside since joining up as a team. Flair says that no one takes them seriously, because they have only been given one shot at the Tag Team Titles over the past few months. Flair promises that things are going to join in the near future, and says that AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson are issuing a challenge to The Hart Dynasty, at REBELLION, for the Tag Team Titles.
The American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) defeated AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson when E. Edwards defeated Styles by disqualification in 0:04:34. Rating: ** ¼ [Ric Flair interfered against Eddie Edwards.]
Before the match, Styles and Anderson claimed that they were going to “shake things up” in the HWL, and challenged The Hart Dynasty to a Tag Team Title Match at REBELLION. But, tonight, it seemed liked they were up to their usual tricks, as Ric Flair tripped up Eddie Edwards, getting his charges disqualified.
After the match, Edwards turned his attention toward Flair, who made his way up the ramp as Styles blindsided him with a dropkick to the back of the head, sending Edwards tumbling to the concrete. “The Nature Boy” pounced, and started landing kicks to Edwards’s midsection, while Styles and Anderson double-teamed Davey Richards. Anderson hit the Mic Check before he and Styles rolled out of the ring, and joined Flair and Chelsea on the ramp. The crowd jeered as the camera focused on the carnage left at ringside.
Commercial Break
Backstage, Alisha Hicks catches up with Colt Cabana, demanding a reason for his attack on Cody Rhodes earlier tonight. Cabana says that two weeks ago, Rhodes was only able to beat him by countout, and that was only because he had injured his back and couldn’t get to his feet by the referee’s 10-count. Cabana says that he made a statement to Rhodes, tonight; and that is 100 percent. Cabana says that he wants a rematch against Rhodes, next week, on Anarchy. Cabana leaves the ring as Josh Daniels admits that Cody Rhodes has a full plate, dealing with both Colt Cabana and Kyle O’Reilly.
[Non-Title Match] Adam Cole defeated D’Angelo Dinero by countout in 0:24:16. Rating: **** ¼
This was a rematch of the X-Division Title Match from BEST OF THE BEST in February, when Cole was able to defeat Dinero for the belt. Last week, Cole refueled that fire by attacking Dinero during his match against Matt Morgan, allowing Peter Bradshaw to give Dinero another shot. “The Pope” came out strong, clearly angered by losing the title, and then being blindsided for Cole’s own humor. Dinero was able to connect with the DDE after the match went past the time limit, but Cole showed that he is smarter then what his actions say, and he was able to get a foot on the rope to break up the count. The champ fought back, and connected with a spinning leg lariat, that send Dinero’s head crashing onto the canvas. Dazed, Dinero became an easy target for Cole, who tossed Dinero outside the ring and celebrated as the referee counted “The Pope” out.
Backstage, Alisha Hicks gets a comment from Jey Uso - with Tamina - as he gets ready for his main event match against Kurt Angle. Uso says that it’s a huge moment in his career, because he’s being given a chance to show what he can do against the best in the business. He promises to go out and give this match all he has, but says that he wishes his brother was here to see it live. Jey says that he knows Jimmy is watching back home, and that he hopes he makes his brother proud tonight.
Commercial Break
A promo for REBELLION is shown - with “The Fad” by Chevelle announced as the theme song. Josh Daniels and Scott Michael go over the matches that have been announced for the event, including a rematch for the Heavyweight Title between “The Viper” Randy Orton and the Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle. Josh Daniels announces that the event will take place in 13 days, live from Oklahoma City!
Non-Title Match] Kurt Angle made Jey Uso submit to the Ankle Lock in 0:09:24. Rating: *** ¼
Jey Uso came out very strong tonight, showing an impressive array of moves, getting an early advantage over the Heavyweight Champion. Angle was able to fight back, hitting a belly-to-belly suplex, to take back control, but was unable to put away Uso. The fight found it’s way outside the ring, where Angle used the ringpost and guardrail to wear down Uso, before rolling him back into the ring. Angle wasted no time, locking in the Ankle Lock, as Uso quickly tapped out.
After the match, as Angle celebrated in the ring, the arena went dark. When the lights came back on, “The Monster” Abyss was standing behind him! Abyss grabbed Angle by the throat, readying himself for a choke slam, but Angle was able to sneak out of the hold, and slide out of the ring. The crowd jeered Abyss as Angle stared himself walking back up the ramp. Abyss made a motion, with his hands, signifying that the Heavyweight Title would be his, and Angle stared in horror. Then, suddenly, “The Viper” Randy Orton jumped into the ring from behind the barricade, and stalked Abyss as the crowd perked up. Abyss turned around and fell victim to an RKO in the center of the ring! The crowd gave Orton a mixed reaction as he turned his attention to Kurt Angle. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels thanked everyone for tuning in tonight, and wondered what was going to happen, next week, just six days away from REBELLION!
Card rating: *** ½
Circuit Notes: Monday Night Anarchy ended with a bang as “The Monster” Abyss nearly choke slammed Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle in the center of the ring after his match with Jey Uso. Instead, Abyss fell victim to an RKO by the current Number One Contender, Randy Orton! Because of these actions tonight, HWL Owner Peter Bradshaw has announced that next week, Randy Orton will face Abyss in a one-on-one contest; but there will be an added stipulation to the match: “The Olympic Gold Medalist” Kurt Angle will be the special referee!
Also, taking place next week, will be a match between Cody Rhodes and Colt Cabana, who will be hoping to get some restitution for a loss two weeks ago to the “Dashing One”.
And, as a result of the circumstances surrounding their victory over AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson tonight, Eddie Edwards will step into the ring against Styles in singles action.
-- In corporate news: The HWL has come to terms with Angelina Love, Michelle McCool and Sarita, who was viciously attacked by Natalya after her final match for the company. Peter Bradshaw, and the rest of the HWL, wish Sarita a speedy recovery; and they wish all three Vixens good luck in their future endeavors.

Monday Night Anarchy April 18, 2011 Intrust Bank Arena - Wichita, Kans. Attendance: 11,745 (78.3%) Commentators: Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels
“Headstrong” plays, and fireworks shoot through the arena, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Monday Night Anarchy. It is announced, that after the events at the end of last week’s Anarchy, Peter Bradshaw has signed a singles match between “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The Monster” Abyss, with Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle as the Special Referee! Josh Daniels says that Kurt Angle could find himself in a tough position tonight. Scott Michaels warns Angle to keep his head on a swivel.
Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, carrying the HWL Heavyweight Title over his shoulder, getting a very good reaction from the crowd. Angle says last week was bittersweet for him. He had picked up a victory over Jey Uso, and then found himself in the grip of “The Monster” Abyss; a man who, at any time in the next five months, could challenge him for the title belt. Angle admits that he saw his reign as champion flash before his eyes last week, but that he still managed to do whatever it took to get out of Abyss’s grip. Angle says that he had a first-hand look at what Randy Orton did, in the center of the ring, and that he knows Orton is serious about taking the title this Sunday at REBELLION. But, Angle says that tonight, Orton has to deal with Abyss… not him. Angle claims that he still lives his life by the three I’s instilled in him by his father; and says that he has no reason to call tonight’s main event for anyone: neither Orton nor Abyss. Angle says that he’s going to call the match as he sees it, and as fairly as he possibly can. And, if either Abyss or Orton have a problem with how the match ends, then can take it up with Angle after the fact. Angle drops the microphone, and leaves the ring, as the crowd cheers.

AJ Styles pinned Eddie Edwards after the Dominator in 0:13:03. Rating: ***
Last week, these two men where the in the ring for the deciding factor as their respective teams faced-off against one another. Styles came in looking to avenge the DQ loss, as Edwards was looking to show his newfound dedication to the business since having Davey Richards sign with the company. The match went out to the ring, early on, and saw Styles attempt the Styles Clash, but Edwards slid out of the move before AJ could drive his head into the concrete. Edwards fought back, and nearly put Styles away with an inside cradle, but Styles kicked out and quickly rolled outside the ring to catch his breath. Edwards followed suit, only to be blindsided with a low blow by Ric Flair as he turned the corner! Styles then locked in and hit the Styles Clash onto the concrete before rolling into the ring. Styles distracted the referee while Flair rolled Edwards underneath the bottom rope. Styles went for the cover, but somewhere Edwards had enough power to put his foot on the rope, breaking the count. Furious, Styles picked up Edwards and hit the Dominator in the center of the ring, before making the cover as the referee counted the three.
After the match, Styles, Flair and Chelsea made their way up the ramp to a roar of jeers from the crowd.

Brie agrees that it is great to be back, but that she has more important goals: like retaining the Women’s Title, that she won on the debut episode of Anarchy last year. Brie says that she has been stewing ever since then, because at the time, she couldn’t fully commit to the HWL. But, now, she says she has every intention on putting her best towards becoming a two-time Women’s Champion. The interview is cut short as Natalya confronts the two returning Vixens. Natalya says that Brie and Nikki are out of their leagues, and that they’ve made the biggest mistake of their careers by returning. Natalya tells them that the Women’s Title is her’s to regain, and then warns them to stay out of her way. Natalya pushes Brie into Nikki before leaving in a fury. Brie and Nikki stare at each other dumbfounded as the camera cuts back to the ring.
Colt Cabana pinned Cody Rhodes after a flying cross body press in 0:09:18. Rating: ** ½ [Kyle O’Reilly interfered against Cody Rhodes.]
Cabana demanded this match, claiming that he lost unfairly to Rhodes three weeks ago, by countout. Cabana clearly took his aggression out on Rhodes tonight, beating him from post to post inside the ring. The match went outside momentarily, allowing Rhodes to take over control by ramming Cabana’s injured lower back into the steel ring steps. Rhodes rolled back inside, looking to capture another victory by countout, but Cabana rolled under the bottom rope, determined not to repeat the same fate. Kyle O’Reilly made his way to the ring as Rhodes and Cabana battled in the ring, and stood at ringside watching the events unfold. Rhodes attempted the Cross Rhodes, only to get kicked in the gut by Cabana, who ran into the ropes and connected with a beautiful flying cross body. Outside the ring, O’Reilly grabbed Rhodes foot, not allowing him to kick out as the referee counted the three!
After the match, Cabana quickly rolled out of the ring as Rhodes got to his feet and argued with the referee, pleading his case. The referee swore he didn’t see anything as O’Reilly entered the ring and chop-blocked Rhodes’s left leg! O’Reilly worked over the leg until HWL officials came down to the ring. O’Reilly escaped the ring, and fled through the crowd, as the officials tended to Rhodes inside the ring.
Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Kaval and Kofi Kingston. Kingston says that both he and Kaval have been multiple champions in Premiere Championship Wrestling. Kingston was one-half of the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions; and Kaval was the longest-reigning Television Champion. Kingston says that tonight, they are going out to the ring to prove that just like Adam Cole, they can become successful on the big stage, in the HWL.

The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd) defeated Kaval and Kofi Kingston when D.H. Smith pinned Kaval with the Saito Suplex in 0:15:41. Rating: *** ¼ [Natalya interfered against Kofi Kingston.]
Two former PCW Tag Team Champions squared off against the longest reigning HWL Tag Team Champions tonight, hoping to fully claim themselves spots on the major roster. Their chance got off to a rocky start as Kaval held Tyson Kidd while Kofi Kingston went to clothesline him over the top rope. Instead, Kidd escaped and watched as Kingston knocked Kaval to the concrete below! D.H. Smith took care of Kingston, as Kidd went outside, and continued the match. Kaval and Kingston tried to fight their way back into the match, but appeared to be no match for the Tag Team Champions. Smith put Kaval away with the Saito Suplex as the crowd exploded with jeers.

X-Division Match Yoshi Tatsu pinned Steve Corino after a German suplex in 0:13:50. Rating: *** ½
Steve Corino came out very strong in the beginning of this match, having his way with the number one contender for the X-Division Title. Corino’s momentum stopped when both men were taken down after a double clothesline that nearly saw both men get counted out. Corino was the first to his feet, albeit slowly, and continued to control the match until Yoshi connected with a spinning leg kick that sent Corino outside the ring. Yoshi used the guardrail to his advantage, bracing Corino against it as he landed vicious chops to his chest. Yoshi tossed Corino back inside, and connected with another spinning heel kick, that only garnered a two-count. Yoshi then hit Corino with a German suplex for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Yoshi Tatsu celebrated inside the ring, as Adam Cole appeared at the top of the ramp. The two of them stared at each other, while Cole patted the X-Division Title draped over his shoulder, as Anarchy went to commercials.
Commercial Break
[Special Referee: Kurt Angle] Abyss and Randy Orton battled to a draw in 0:20:00. Rating: ***
Kurt Angle kept his word and called the match straight down the center. Both Randy Orton and “The Monster” Abyss came within seconds of putting the other one away, but they were both eager to show that they could stand whatever their other one threw at them. Abyss nearly got himself disqualified for choking Orton against the ropes, and quickly got into Angle’s face as the “referee” pulled him off of Orton after a five-count. The end of the match saw Abyss connected with the Black Hole Slam onto “The Viper”. But as Angle’s hand was about to hit the canvas for the third time, the time keeper rang the bell, signaling the end of the match! Angle called the match as the ring announcer confirmed the draw.
After the match, a furious Abyss grabbed Angle from behind and hit him with a devastating choke slam in the center of the ring! Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels offered up that it’d be a great chance for Abyss to cash in his “Golden Opportunity”, but “The Monster” simply stared down at both Orton and Angle as the crowd jeered.

HWL presents: REBELLION April 24, 2011 Oklahoma City Arena - Oklahoma City, Okla. Attendance: 16,882 (93.6%) Commentators: Josh Daniels & Scott Michaels
A video package is shown, with “The Fad” playing in the background, as the event comes on the air. When the package ends, fireworks scream with the arena, lighting the stage and ring area as the capacity crowd goes crazy. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Oklahoma City, and briefly go over the six matches scheduled for tonight. Josh Daniels announces that, Monday night after Anarchy went off the air, Brie Bella demanded a match against Natalya because of Natalya’s actions during the show. Josh Daniels says that Bradshaw agreed, before sending it to the ring for the opening contest.
Natalya defeated Brie Bella when Brie passed out in the Sharpshooter in 0:15:16. Rating: ** ¼
Brie Bella returned to the ring tonight, 24 hours after making her re-debut, with sister Nikki, and getting bullied by Natalya. Brie came out fighting tonight, even getting a good amount of offense in on the former Women’s Champion, before Natalya took over once and for all. Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter in the center of the ring, and the referee let Brie’s arm drop three times before calling for the bell. Natalya kept the hold locked in after the bell rang, until the official pried her off of Brie and demanded that she go backstage. Natalya left the ring, laughing manically, as the official checked on Brie.
Backstage, HWL Women’s Champion, Velvet Sky, tells Alisha Hicks that she is completely aware of the history between herself and Daffney. Velvet admits that she has lost more than enough matches to Daffney, but she feels like tonight is the one match between them that really matters. Velvet says that there were a lot of people in the back - and online - that didn’t think she had what it took to beat Natalya for the belt. She says that, tonight, she’s going to prove all of those people wrong again.
In the locker room, AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson are seen getting ready for their match later tonight. Josh Daniels says that they are getting a second chance to win the Tag Team Titles, against The Hart Dynasty. Scott Michaels wonders if they have what it takes the second time around.
Daffney defeated Velvet Sky by countout in 0:17:32. Rating: * ½ (Velvet Sky retained the HWL Women’s Title.)
This match stay trued to the others these two Vixens have had in the past, with both women pulling out all the stops to ensure victory. Velvet was on the defense for most of the match, after suffering a top-rope Frankensteiner in the opening moments. Daffney stuck to wearing down the champion, and after being thrown to the outside by her hair, Velvet Sky got to her feet and, grabbed the Women’s Title, and marched up the ramp as the referee counted her out. After the match, Daffney stood in the center of the ring, dumbfounded, by what she just witnessed.
A preview for FULLY LOADED is shown. The pay-per-view will take place May 29th, live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey!
Backstage, Cody Rhodes tells Alisha Hicks that he honestly thought he had been finished with Kyle O’Reilly for some time. Rhodes says that he has aspirations for bigger things in the HWL, but that, for tonight, he will have to settle for facing a man he has beaten twice already. Rhodes says that, after tonight, hopefully he will be done with Kyle O’Reilly, and can start looking forward to making a bigger name for himself in the HWL.
The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd) defeated AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson when D.H. Smith pinned Styles after hitting him with a steel chair in 0:08:55. Rating: *** ½ (The Hart Dynasty retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.) [Davey Richards interfered against AJ Styles.]
“The Nature Boy” Ric Flair’s charges got their second chance at the Tag Team Titles in this re-match from the BRUTALITY pay-per-view in January. Things got off to a very shaky start for the challengers as Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards made their way to the bottom of the ramp just seconds after the match started, apparently still upset about their lose a couple weeks ago. The American Wolves watched as Styles and Anderson tried to hold their own against the Champions, but their minds weren’t fully in the match with the two men standing at ringside. The end of the match saw Natalya jump onto the apron, grabbing the referee’s attention as Davey Richards slid a steel chair into the ring. D.H. Smith grabbed the chair and swung for the fences, completely denting the steel over Styles’s head! Smith tossed the chair outside the ring as Natalya jumped off the apron. With Anderson, Flair, and Chelsea protesting, the referee counted the three and awarded the victory to The Hart Dynasty.
After the match, as Smith, Natalya and Tyson Kidd made their way up the ramp, Anderson and Flair entered the ring and tried to plead their case. The referee says he didn’t see anything, and that they fall counts. Flair and Anderson go crazy in the ring, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd, as Chelsea tends to AJ Styles, who has begun to bleed from the chair shot.
Backstage, Adam Cole gives a pep talk to Kyle O’Reilly before his match against Cody Rhodes.
Cody Rhodes pinned Kyle O’Reilly with the Cross Rhodes in 0:12:52. Rating: **** ¼
Kyle O’Reilly was looking to pick up his first victory against Cody Rhodes tonight, but “The Dashing One” show no letting up in the third match between these two. Rhodes caught O’Reilly with the Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory.
A preview for FULLY LOADED is shown. The pay-per-view will take place May 29th, live from the Izod Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey!
Backstage, Yoshi Tatsu tells Alisha Hicks that tonight is going to be a huge night for him; he finally gets a chance to challenge for a title in the HWL! Yoshi says that Adam Cole has said some very hurtful things over the past few weeks, and will pay for those words tonight. He says that the best way to make Cole pay for his insults is to walk out as the new X-Division Champion.
Kurt Angle is shown, stretching and warming up in the locker room, as Josh Daniels talks about the rivalry between he and Randy Orton that started in the weeks leading up to Wrestleocolypse.
Adam Cole pinned Yoshi Tatsu after a flying forearm in 0:17:02. Rating: *** ¼ (Adam Cole retained the X-Division Title.)
These two superstars showed off their aerial skills in a very fast-paced match, that had the crowd’s attention for its entirety. Cole started off, impressively, holding the advantage for the better part of the beginning of the match. Eventually, both men found their way outside the ring, where Cole used the ring steps to wear down Tatsu’s shoulder and lower back. Cole pulled back the apron, exposing the steel beams of the ring, and rammed Tatsu into it before rolling Tatsu back in the ring for a near-fall. Tatsu was able to fight back, hitting a Spinning Heel Kick, but his back caused him to waste time before making the pin, and Cole was able to kick out at two. Tatsu kept up a small amount of offense, until Cole ducked until a clothesline and connected with a flying forearm. Cole quickly covered Tatsu, grabbing a handful of tights out of the referee’s view, for the victory.
After the match, rolled out of the ring and grabbed the belt, hurrying up the ramp as Tatsu claimed that his tights were pulled. The crowd jeers the result as the camera goes backstage.
Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with “The Viper” Randy Orton. Orton says that tonight is a culmination of a month’s worth of events that did nothing but upset both he and Kurt Angle to no end. Orton says that ever since Wrestleocolypse, he’s known that he was the better wrestler, and that he should be Heavyweight Champion. Orton says that Angle couldn’t pin him - and didn’t try - because he knew he wouldn’t be able to do it. Tonight, he says, Orton will prove that Angle can’t pin him; and that he will walk out as the new Heavyweight Champion.
A video package, showing the events leading up to the main event, is shown.
Kurt Angle made Randy Orton submit to the Ankle Lock in 0:19:33. Rating: *** ½ (Kurt Angle retained the HWL Heavyweight Title.)
These two have gone after each other ever since last month’s Wrestleocolypse pay-per-view. There is absolutely no love lost between them, and it showed here tonight. Kurt Angle used his expertise in mat wrestling to try and wear down Orton early on, but “The Viper” was able to get some valuable counter moves in when they were needed most. The match went outside, to the concrete, where both men made the ringside area look like a crash site! Angle whipped Orton into the ring steps and then into the guardrail before rolling him back in. Angle quickly went for the cover, but Orton kicked out. The match continued, and now with Orton at the helm, he attempted a Garvin Stomp, but Angle rolled away, grabbing Orton’s foot and locking in the Ankle lock! Orton quickly tapped out as the crowd went crazy!
After the match, the lights in the arena went out and camera flashes showed a commotion taking place inside the ring. When the lights returned on, Randy Orton was nowhere to be found, and “The Monster” Abyss had Kurt Angle poised for a choke slam! Abyss slammed Angle to the canvas as the crowd roared with anticipation. Abyss went outside the ring and grabbed the Heavyweight Title, before entering the ring and placing the belt over Angle’s chest. The crowd looked on in shock as Abyss stood over the Champion. Josh Daniels said that Abyss has had two opportunities to cash in on the Title, but hasn’t done it yet. Scott Michaels wondered if there was a certain moment he was waiting for. Daniels then thanked everyone for tuning in as Rebellion went off the air.

I don't know if this is done on purpose or not, but just thought I'd say that I am really enjoying the more recent cards due to their length. I have a hard time cutting my cards down some, but you've seen to find a great way to keep the meat and bones but cut out all of the fat. Like I said, don't know if this is something you've noticed yourself doing, but bravo on a job well done.
Can't wait to see where you go with Abyss and his Golden Opportunity. Don't know when he'll cash it in, but I look forward to seeing when and how he does it. I wonder if there will be an explanation as to why he hasn't done so yet.

Josh - Thanks for the feedback. I really appreciate it! The only real thing I've noticed myself doing is not forcing myself to write a lengthy, detailed description of what happens during the matches. I'm trying to just get the "story" of the match across, and build from there. I've taken a lot of cues from the old-school WWF circuits (so, I'm sorry if I'm stealing anything!), because I really liked how they were written. That, in itself, has caused me to change up my writing style. And, as far as Abyss and his Golden Opportunity: I have something in the works right now. I just hope it goes over as well as it is in my mind

Monday Night Anarchy April 25, 2011 BOK Center - Tulsa, Okla. Attendance: 9,693 (56.7%) Commentators: Josh Daniels & Scott Michaels
A video package is shown of the highlights from last night’s Rebellion pay-per-view.
“Headstrong” plays through the arena as fireworks shoot through the air. The cameras pan around the arena, showing the crowd going crazy. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Monday Night Anarchy. Josh Daniels says that, now with Rebellion behind them, the superstars of the HWL can look down the road to Fully Loaded on May 29th. They announce, that tonight, Kaval and Kofi Kingston will take on the team that came up short in their battle with the Tag Team Champions at Rebellion: AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson. And, also, tonight will be the debut of Maryse - the newest member of the HWL roster.
Kurt Angle’s music begins to play, and the crowd goes crazy as “The Olympic Gold Medalist” walks down to the ring, carrying the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. Josh Daniels comments on what Angle had to go through last night during his title defense against Randy Orton, and the post-match against by the Golden Opportunity winner, Abyss. Angle gets on the microphone and says that for the past few weeks he has had to deal with more things then he has ever had to deal with during his time as Heavyweight Champion. Angle says that he had to deal with Randy Orton’s constant backstabbing, and cheap shots every single week leading up to last night at Rebellion. He says, that on top of that, he had to worry about Abyss coming from behind and trying to take him out every time he stepped foot inside the ring. Angle says that he has had enough of it; and that he finished with Randy Orton last night. Angle says that with Randy Orton behind him, he can turn his attention to other things: like “The Monster”. Angle says that he is not going to wait for Abyss to decide when to cash in his Golden Opportunity and challenge for the Heavyweight Title; he demands that Peter Bradshaw - who he knows is in the arena tonight - signs a title match between himself and Abyss for later tonight. Angle says that he doesn’t care if Abyss uses his Golden Opportunity tonight or not, but he just wants to get “The Monster” in the ring, one on one, to end things once and for all. Angle throws down the microphone, and storms out of the ring, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss the reasons, given by the Champion, as to why he wants the match to be made.
Commercial Break
Eddie Edwards made Tyson Kidd submit to the Achilles Lock in 0:10:57. Rating: **** ¼
Great way to start off the Anarchy after Rebellion! Tyson Kidd and Eddie Edwards put on a show for the fans in Tulsa tonight, and set a very high mark for the rest of the matches in the show. Edwards found himself slightly overwhelmed tonight, as he had to deal with both Kidd and Natalya, standing at ringside. During the match, the referee found himself in a bad position as he fell victim to a clothesline by Tyson Kidd, that sent him down the concrete at ringside. Edwards took control of the match as another official ran down to the ring to continue the match. A few minutes later, though, the initial referee regained consciousness, and he and the referee in the ring debated who would finish the match. As this was going on, Kidd connected with a low blow before grabbing Edwards’ arms behind his back as Natalya entered the ring with a steel chair. Natalya swung the chair, only to have Edwards duck, and connected with Kidd; opening up a small gash on his forehead. Edwards quickly tossed Natalya out of the ring and locked in the Achilles Lock as the referee noticed Kidd tapping out.
After the match, both officials checked on a bloody Tyson Kidd as Edwards left the ring to a mixed reaction.
Commercial Break
Coming back from the break, a very distraught and upset Daffney is seen with Alisha Hicks. Daffney says that she had the Women’s Title in her sights; that she was just a few seconds away from holding her first piece of championship gold in the HWL; that that it was all thrown away when Velvet Sky walked away from the ring, getting counted out. Daffney says that Velvet was lucky. Lucky that she was in too much shock to chase after Velvet and drag her back into the ring so that she could win the Women’s Title. Daffney says that she has spent every waking moment since last night, trying to figure out ways to make Velvet Sky pay for what she did at Rebellion. Daffney promises that the next time she sees Velvet Sky, that there will be no more Beautiful People in the Vixens locker room.
Nikki Bella pinned Maryse with the Sitout Facebuster in 0:15:05. Rating: ¾ *
Newcomer Maryse made her debut tonight against a returning, former Women’s Champion, in Nikki Bella. Nikki came out strong, showing no signs of ring rust during her lengthy hiatus from the ring, picking up a few near falls on her opponent. Nikki became flustered after thinking she had put away Maryse early on, and that caused her to fall victim to an inside cradle while arguing with the referee. Maryse kept off the offense, showing some impressive moves learned during her days with the “other guys”. And, like Nikki, Maryse secured a couple near falls, but was unable to put her opponent away. The end of the match saw Maryse go for the French Kiss, only to have Nikki reverse the move and connect with the Sitout Facebuster for the victory!
Commercial Break
Backstage, Peter Bradshaw is seen talking to someone on the phone, when Yoshi Tatsu barges in. Tatsu says that he was robbed last night, when Adam Cole pulled his tights while pinning him, and retaining the X-Division Title. Tatsu says that that the whole world saw what Cole did, and he asks Bradshaw to reverse the decision made by the referee last night. Bradshaw says that he will take it into consideration and watch the footage. Tatsu thanks Bradshaw and leaves the ring as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels question what Bradshaw could - or be willing to - do in the event that Adam Cole did pull Tatsu’s tights at Rebellion.
Also backstage, Alisha Hicks is confronted by a groggy Natalya, who is attempting to be restrained by Tyson Kidd after his match earlier tonight. Natalya says that she heard what Daffney had to say about Velvet Sky’s retention of the Women’s Title last night; but says that all of Daffney’s whining will not change the fact that she is no longer the #1 Contender. Natalya says that Daffney had her chance and didn’t get the job done. She says that it’s her time to bring the title back to where it belongs. Natalya then issues a challenge to Velvet Sky, for a Women’s Title Match, next week on Anarchy.
Commercial Break
Kaval and Kofi Kingston defeated AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson when Kaval pinned Anderson with the Warrior’s Way in 0:16:50. Kaval suffered a concussion. He will be out for approximately one week. Rating: *** ¾
Both of these teams were looking to correct their mistakes that led to losses against the Tag Team Champions in the past couple weeks. Kofi and Kaval looked very impressive, shocking Styles and Anderson with an array of aerial moves. Styles and Anderson, however, were able to match their high-flying counterparts, seemingly at the perfect time, to keep the match going. Kaval took a hard spill to the concrete after being double clotheslined over the top rope by Styles and Anderson. Kaval stayed motionless at ringside for a few moments, while Kofi battled with both their opponents. Eventually, Kaval made it back to the apron, just in time to make the hot tag and clean house, causing the crowd to go crazy! Kaval connected with a beautiful power slam on Anderson, before climbing to the top rope and hitting the Warrior’s Way for the victory.
After the match, Kaval laid motionless on the canvas as Kofi and the referee checked on his condition. Medical personnel was requested, and they rushed down to the ring as Josh Daniels said he and Scott Michaels hoped everything was OK.
Commercial Break
As Anarchy returns, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards are seen talking in the hallway backstage, when they are approached by “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. Flair says that neither man had any business coming down to ringside last night, and costing Styles and Anderson the Tag Team Titles. Richards counters, and says that Flair had no right getting involved in their match against Styles and Anderson, two weeks ago. He says that Flair is just a hypocrite who only complains when something doesn’t go his way. Enraged, Flair throws a punch at Richards. Richards ducks the blow, and Eddie Edwards connects with a vicious knee to Flair’s midsection. He and Richard proceed to assault Flair in the middle of the hallway. Richards throws Flair into the cement wall, opening up a small gash on “The Nature Boy’s” forehead. Richards then straddles Flair and repeatedly punches him, forcing blood to spew all over the floor. Richards gets up and kicks Flair in the ribs - for good measure - before he and Edwards flee the scene, leaving Flair lying in a pool of his own blood.
Rob Terry pinned Colt Cabana with the Freakbuster in 0:10:45. Rating: ** ¼
Colt Cabana tried all he could tonight, to wear down the much bigger opponent, but “The Freak” has that nick name for a reason. Rob Terry did fall victim to some well-placed and well-timed moves by Cabana, but the match quickly spilt onto the floor, where Terry easily took advantage, throwing Cabana into the guardrail. Terry then hoisted Cabana into the air and dropped him, head first, onto the guardrail, causing Cabana to bleed from the forehead. Terry then rolled Cabana back into the ring before hitting the Freakbuster for the victory.
Commercial Break
Kurt Angle defeated Abyss by disqualification in 0:18:19. Raitng: ** ½ (Kurt Angle retained the HWL Heavyweight Title.) [Randy Orton interfered against Kurt Angle.]
The crowd in Tulsa had been anticipating this match all night long, and they were ready for action when the two men were introduced. Angle started off strong, using his speed to pick up an early advantage over Abyss. The tide quickly turned as Angle failed to connect with a baseball slide to the concrete, and Abyss gladly used everything he could find to make Angle pay for his mistake. Back in the ring, Abyss continued his assault on the Heavyweight Champion as Randy Orton made his way down to the ring. Orton slid a steel chair into the ring before jumping onto the apron, distracting the referee, as Abyss bent the steel over Angle’s head. Abyss went for the cover, but only got a two-count, as Angle was able to get his foot over the bottom rope. Enraged, Abyss got into the referee’s face as Angle slowly composed himself, before attempting to hit the Angle Slam, but Angle was unable to life Abyss onto his shoulders! Angle ducked under a clothesline attempt and hit a flying forearm, before going for the cover. As the referee counted to three, “The Viper” slid into the ring and struck Angle in the back with the steel chair! The referee called for the bell, and Angle was announced the winner as Abyss and Orton did a number on the Heavyweight Champion.
A few moments later, Cody Rhodes ran down from the back and cleared the ring, getting a huge ovation from the crowd! Rhodes checked on Angle as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels thanked everyone for tuning in.
Card rating: ** ½
HWL Newsline: Kofi Kingston is no longer with the company. The HWL wishes him well in his future endeavors.

Monday Night Anarchy May 02, 2011 Verizon Arena - North Little Rock, Arkansas Attendance: 6,608 (41.3%)
A video package is shown of the brawl that ended last week’s edition of Anarchy.
“Headstrong” plays through the arena as fireworks shoot through the air. The camera pans the arena showing off the various crowd members and their homemade signs. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Little Rock as the road to Fully Loaded continues. It is announced that two big matches will be taking place tonight. First, Velvet Sky will defend her Women’s Title against Natalya; and in tonight’s main event, Randy Orton will team up with “The Monster” Abyss to take on the team of Cody Rhodes and The Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle.
“The Olympic Gold Medalist” Kurt Angle comes out to the ring, dressed in a fine-pressed suit, carrying the Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. The crowd gives him a tremendous ovation as he enters the ring and grabs a microphone from the ring announcer. Angle says that he has always tried to live his life as a man of integrity; a man of pure, honorable substance. Someone that men, women and children around the world could look up to. He says that he would wake up, everyday, ready to make a positive impact in someone’s life, no matter how small it was. Angle says that he up woke up this morning and knew that there was something very important he had to do tonight, and he didn’t want to waste any time delaying the inevitable. Angle then asks for Cody Rhodes to join him in the ring…
Moments later Cody Rhodes makes his way on-stage, dressed in street clothes as Josh Daniels asks what must be going through Rhodes’ mind. The crowd gives Rhodes a favorable response as he makes his way down the ramp, entering the ring, and standing across from Kurt Angle. Angle holds up a hand, before Rhodes can speak, and says that he just wants Rhodes to listen… not talk. Angle says that, last week, he decided to put the Heavyweight Title on the line against Abyss, because he was getting tired of being attacked week after week. Angle says that he defeated Abyss last week, and should’ve been able to move on, that Randy Orton stuck his nose back where it didn’t belong. Angle says that Rhodes, too, stuck his where it didn’t belong; and that was why Angle called him out tonight. A moment later, Angle thanks Rhodes for coming to his aide last week, and having his back against Abyss and Orton. The two men shake hands in the center of the ring as the crowd roars in approval!
Just as Rhodes begins to leave the ring, Angle stops him and says that for coming to his aide last week, Angle is indebted to Rhodes. Angle says that Rhodes can get one favor from Angle to pay his debt. Rhodes smiles and says that he will take some time to consider his options, and get back to Angle next week.Rhodes then leaves the ring as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels begin talking about the main event.
Commercial Break
Kyle O’Reilly pinned Eddie Edwards with the Brain Buster in 0:09:27. Rating: ***
Edwards tried to get the upper hand, and gain control early on, attacking O’Reilly before the bell rang! O’Reilly fought back, and brought the match to the concrete outside the ring. Back and forth action commenced once both men got back into the ring. Edwards went for the Achilles Hold, but O’Reilly rolled out, sending Edwards headfirst into the middle turnbuckle. O’Reilly quickly capitalized, picking Edwards up and connecting with the Brain Buster for the 1-2-3.
Commercial Break
Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with a very happy Velvet Sky. Velvet has a huge smile on her face, and caresses the Women’s Title, as Alisha asks what she thinks of the situation concerning herself, Daffney and Natalya. Velvet says that he has loved every minute, watching Daffney and Natalya cry and moan about who should be the rightful Women’s Champion and who should be the rightful number one contender. Velvet says that neither of them can change the fact that she walked out of Rebellion as the Women’s Champion. Alisha challenges Velvet on the issue, saying that the only reason she retained the title was by getting counted out. Velvet quickly tells Alisha to shut her mouth; and says that everyone used to underestimate how smart she really was. She says that everyone in the business knows that a title can’t change hands if the champion gets counted out. Velvet says she just did what no one else in the HWL has the guts to do: use the rules to her advantage. Velvet turns away from Alisha and walks away as Josh Daniels wonders if Velvet is ready for the test she’s about to face.
Velvet Sky pinned Natalya with the Beauty Mark in 0:21:10. Rating: **** (Velvet Sky retained the HWL Women’s Title.) [Daffney interfered against Velvet Sky.]
This match had been building over the couple weeks after Rebellion, since Natalya has been claiming to be the number one contender since Velvet Sky walked out of her match against Daffney two weeks ago. Tonight, she got her chance to take back the title from the Vixen she lost it to; but “The Demonic Princess” threw a wrench into the machine, coming down to the ring and interfering throughout the contest. Daffney made things miserable for the Women’s Champion: tripping her, attacking her while outside the ring, and even tossing the title belt into the ring and allowing Natalya clobber Velvet in the head with it! Unfortunately for Natalya, Velvet fell into a great position, and was able to put her foot on the ropes to break up the count. The match continued, and eventually made its way outside the ring, where Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter! Knowing that she couldn’t win by submission outside the ring, Natalya dragged Velvet back inside, and locked the hold back on! But, Velvet showed a resolve that no one had seen before, pushing out of the move and rolling into the corner to catch her composure. Natalya continued to work over the injured back of Velvet for a few good minutes, until Daffney attempted to throw a steel chair into the ring! The referee caught it and had Daffney forcibly removed from ringside! With the referee’s - and Natalya’s - attention turned to the ramp, Velvet connected with a shot to the back of Natalya’s head with the title belt! Velvet then picked up Natalya and connected with the Beauty Mark, picking up the tainted victory.
After the match, Velvet Sky fled the ring, grasping the Women’s Title closely to her chest, as the fans gave her a piece of it’s mind. Josh Daniels called the victory “despicable”, and claimed that it would only be a matter of time before it all came back to bite Velvet in the backside.
Commercial Break
Alisha Hicks is seen with The American Wolves backstage. Eddie Edwards is still showing signs from his match against Kyle O’Reilly; Davey Richards takes over the interview. Richard says that whether or not people believe what he says, they didn’t want to do what they did to “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair last week. Richards says that he and Edwards have the utmost respect for Flair, and that all they were trying to do was send a message to everyone in the HWL, that no one was off limits when it came to them getting what they deserved. Richards says that it’s about time AJ Styles, Mr. Anderson and the rest of the HWL took them seriously, or things like last week would continue to happen.
As Richards and Edwards begin to walk away, they are attacked from behind by Anderson and Styles! The attack lasts only a few moments before HWL officials pull Anderson and Styles off the Wolves. Anderson says that the message has been received, and that Richards and Edwards have made a huge mistake. Josh Daniels says wonders if Anderson and Styles will be able to focus on their up-coming match against Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz…
Also backstage, Randy Orton confronts “The Monster” Abyss as he walks down the hallway. Orton tells Abyss that, tonight, they have a common enemy; and that they both want nothing more then to take out Kurt Angle. But, Orton tells Abyss that he is still a problem, and that Orton doesn’t care for him. Orton says that Abyss cost him the Heavyweight Title at Rebellion, and that soon, Abyss will have to face the consequences. Orton walks away as Abyss looks on, emotionless.
Commercial Break
Yoshi Tatsu & Kaz defeated AJ Styles & Mr. Anderson when Kaz pinned Anderson with the Wave of the Future in 0:08:46. Rating: **** ¼
Styles and Anderson appeared to be on top of the world as they were introduced for this match, having taken out Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards just moments before. But Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz were looking to get some revenge on their opponents tonight as this matched continued their on-going rivalry. A huge moment in the match saw AJ Styles attempt a springboard sommersault into a DDT, only to have kick him in the midsection in mid-air! Styles rolled outside the ring and crumpled to the ground; he wasn’t the same for the rest of the match. The end of the match saw Anderosn and Kaz in the ring, where Kaz locked in a sleeper hold, wearing down the bigger man. With Anderson staggering on his feet, Kaz connected with the Wave of the Future to pick up the victory.
Commercial Break
Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Peter Bradshaw, who says that he has reviewed the video tape of the match between Yoshi Tatsu and Adam Cole from Rebellion. Upon watching the footage, Bradshaw says that he did, indeed, notice Adam Cole pulling Tatsu’s tights while making the pinfall. Bradshaw says that there is nothing he can do to reverse the referee’s decision from the pay-per-view, but says that he has signed a rematch for next week.
Rob Terry pinned Matt Morgan with the Freakbuster in 14:53. Rating: ** ¼
After an impressive victory last week, over Colt Cabana, “The Freak” found himself stepping into the ring with a one-time Heavyweight Champion. Big Rob and “The Blueprint” found themselves in a battle of big men, with neither one of them wanting to look weaker in the eyes of the audience. The end of the match saw Morgan block a “jackhammer” attempt with an inverted atomic drop. Terry moved out of the way, at the last second, and connected with a vicious clothesline, bringing Morgan down to the canvas. Terry then lifted Morgan up and hit him with the Freakbuster for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Josh Daniels says that Rob Terry has two impressive victories in a row now, and that the men in the back should begin to take notice.
A split-screen is shown of Randy Orton/Abyss and Kurt Angle/Cody Rhodes making their way to the stage as Anarchy goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Randy Orton & Abyss defeated Cody Rhodes & Kurt Angle when R. Orton pinned C. Rhodes with the RKO in 0:12:45. Rating: *** ½
The air in the arena was electric tonight, as all four of these men made their way down to the ring before the match. The tension between them was intense, and neither of them held back when it came to letting their aggression out. Orton and Abyss both spent a serious amount of time working over Angle during the match, trying to wear down the Heavyweight Champion. But Rhodes, showing that he still had the Champions back, intervened when things seemed to be getting too out of hand. On his own, Rhodes got in some very impressive offense on the bigger opponent - Abyss - but fell victim to a double team as Orton came in from behind and chop-blocked his knee. Orton made the quick tag to Abyss and they worked over Rhodes’s leg as Angle came into the ring, clothesline both himself and “The Monster” to the concrete outside the ring. As Angle and Abyss brawled up the ramp, Orton connected with an RKO on the injured Rhodes, and secured an easy victory for his time.
After the match, Orton celebrated by standing over Rhodes as the crowd showered him with boos. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels thanked everyone for tuning in, before signing off for the night.
Card Rating: *** ½

Picking up the last few shows. I've been reading the shows, but not paying close attention. Show #1 - - Abyss, Angle, and Orton is a nice little core top tier. I like the idea that hey, a main event feud might be over. - Yoshi Tatsu is mad and he ain't gonna take it. Don't know much about Adam Cole, but I love Tatsu. - Poor Kaval, winning the match but knocking his noggin' as a result. Oh, and his tag partner is gone as well. Hope you got plans for the deep throated bastard. - So, Richards & Edwards are heels, right? Because taking Ric Flair off my TV is always a heelish action in my book. - I'm going to ignore Rob Terry beating Colt Cabana because it makes me sad. - Fun little main event with a finish that needed to happen since you can't beat Abyss at this point. Still can't quite buy Cody Rhodes as a top-level face, but I'm sure you can make me buy it. Show #2 - - Yup, main event set-up. - Oops. If you're going to destroy Ric Flair, win your match next week guys. Oh, and don't try to say you didn't want to beat up Ric Flair. Just don't beat up Ric Flair then. Go beat up Mr. Anderson. No one will miss him. - Orton no likey Abyss. But they must fight together. Heel tension~! - So, the American Wolves and Styles & Anderson are losing to set up a match? Err. Hope they turn things around. - Fun main event with the right result. Cody's not a top guy yet, so he can lose here.

Glad you're enjoying the shows. Thanks for the feedback.
I'm trying to go full-on into booking weeks in advantage (possibly up to the following pay-per-view). There might be some kinks, but I'm gonna try my best to sort them all out as I go along.

Really interesting circuit going on here. I've got some back-reading to do but you're current main event scene right now is what pulled me in. I can get behind all four. Interesting what's going on with Abyss not cashing in on his opportunities. Looks like he seems content with just imposing his domination over Angle but letting Angle keep the belt.
AJ & Anderson need to improve. I'd like to get behind them but they just seem like a couple of whiners who couldn't buy themselves a victory lately.
Liked you bringing in Maryse, hate that she lost her debut. Didn't make a strong case for herself in the women's division.
Good solid writeups. I'll be reading (older and newer cards!)

Monday Night Anarchy May 9, 2011 Pepsi Center - Denver, Colorado Attendance: 14,267 (74.7%)
The closing moments from last week’s episode are shown, when Randy Orton connected with the RKO on Cody Rhodes for the victory, as Abyss and Kurt Angle brawled outside the ring.
“Headstrong” blares through the arena as fireworks shoot from the stage! The fans go crazy as the camera pans around, while Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Denver, just 20 days from Fully Loaded. Tonight, it’s announced, that due to an order by Peter Bradshaw, Adam Cole will defend the X-Dvision Title against Yoshi Tatsu in a rematch from Rebellion. Also tonight, in another rematch from Rebellion, AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson will square off against the Tag Team Champions, The Hart Dynasty, in a non-title match.
Cody Rhodes appears on-stage, limping on his injured leg, as the crowd showers him with cheers. Josh Daniels explains that the injury occurred last week, during the tag team match, as Rhodes makes his way to the ring. Rhodes grabs a microphone and says that he doesn’t want to spend too much time doing what he needs to do, because his leg is causing him pain; and he wants to rest up for Fully Loaded. Rhodes says that Fully Loaded was the reason he came out to the ring; but most importantly, he came out because he was ready to name his price for Kurt Angle to pay off his debt. Rhodes says that, two weeks ago, he came out and save Kurt Angle - not for any personal gain, but because that’s just what good-hearted people do. He says that his outlook changed slightly, last week, when Angle offered to repay him in any way Rhodes wanted. Rhodes says that he had a week to think about it, even after getting injured and falling victim to an RKO. Rhodes says that it didn’t take long for him to come to a decision, because the decision was already made for him. He says that he has been on the cusp of making it big in the HWL for months now; that he has beaten some of the biggest names on the roster, but has had nothing to show for it. Rhodes says that that is the way that Angle can repay him: by giving him a shot at making it big. Rhodes says that Angle’s debt will be paid, at Fully Loaded, if Angle faces him, one-on-one, for the Heavyweight Title. Rhodes drops the microphone and slowly leaves the ring as the arena comes alive with buzz.
Commercial Break
Davey Richards defeated Derrick Bateman by countout in 0:07:08. Rating: *** ¾ [Ric Flair interfered against Davey Richards.]
A lot seemed to be going on in this match, as Anarchy got underway with one-half of the American Wolves waiting to see who his opponent was going to be. The crowd gave a mixed response as Derrick Bateman - the former PCW star - was announced. The match was fairly even throughout, but things became a little one-sided as “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair returned, and made his way down to the ring, distracting Richards. With the distraction, Bateman was able to show off some good offense, locking in an airplane spin for just under 30 seconds! But, when that wasn’t enough to put Richards away, Flair threw in a steel chair, that Bateman used, but only got a two-count for the effort. Richards was able to fight back, sending the match outside the ring, where he whipped Bateman shoulder-first into the ring steps, before re-entering the ring. Bateman laid on the concrete, riving in pain as the referee counted him out.
After the match, Davey Richards stood in the center of the ring, staring down Ric Flair, as the Nature Boy showed his disgust in not being able to keep Richards from winning. Josh Daniels said that The American Wolves might have Flair’s number, as they apparently know his tricks up to this point.
Commercial Break
A car is seen pulling into the parking lot, in the bottom of the arena, as the crowd begins to murmur with anticipation. The car comes to a stop as Randy Orton gets out of the driver’s seat, and the crowd’s murmur turns to boos. Orton takes a few steps away from the car, when he is blindsided by a steel pipe to the gut! “The Monster” Abyss appears into view, attacking Orton, and striking him with the pipe on the ground. Abyss grabs Orton by the shirt collar and whips him into the side of his car. Orton slumps down to the ground as Abyss stands over him, striking him in the forehead. Abyss opens the car door and puts Orton’s torso inside, before slamming the door onto him. Orton’s body slumps back to the ground as Abyss tells him that he will be the one to take care of Orton’s “little problem” at Fully Loaded.
Kyle O’Reilly pinned Evan Bourne with the Brain Buster in 0:12:12. Rating: *** ¼
Kyle O’Reilly was coming off an impressive victory over Eddie Edwards last week as he stepped into the ring with the high-flying Evan Bourne tonight. Bourne hadn’t been in the ring since losing to Adam Cole at Wrestleocolypse in April; and he came out ready to fight. However, Bourne showed to a little rusty due to the time away from the ring, as O’Reilly capitalized on a few of his mistakes. After working over Bourne outside the ring, O’Reilly rolled him back inside before hitting the Brain Buster, and picking up his second-straight victory.
Commercial Break
Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Daffney, who is seen looking around with a sadistic smile on her face. Before Alisha can ask the question, Daffney says that she’ll be more than happy to share her thoughts on what Velvet Sky had to say last week. Daffney says that Velvet is making a mockery of everyone else’s ability to understand reason. She says that Velvet can claim, that at Rebellion, she was taking advantage of the rules; but she and everyone else knows that Velvet was just running away from Daffney. She says that this time around, Velvet had the chance to prove that she was worthy of being called Women’s Champion, but she chose to tuck her tail and get counted out. Daffney says that, if Velvet hadn’t ran away, Alisha would be talking to the new Women’s Champion. She promises that, if Peter Bradshaw grants the number one contenders match, that after Fully Loaded, she would finally be holding her first piece of championship gold.
Commercial Break
AJ Styles & Mr. Anderson and The Hart Dynasty fought to a no-contest.
After witnessing the return of “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair, and his failed attempt at costing Davey Richards his match earlier in the evening, The American Wolves continued to show that they were one step ahead of Flair and his charges. As Styles and Anderson made their way to the ring, set to face the Tag Team Champions in a non-title rematch from a couple months ago, Richards and Eddie Edwards attacked, immobilizing Styles and Anderson. As their victims rolled on the floor in pain, Edwards told them to send a message to “The Nature Boy”; that message: his tricks are getting old and played out; and he’s no longer one of the smartest men in wrestling…
Commercial Break
Backstage, Peter Bradshaw tells Alisha Hicks that the on-going saga surrounding Daffney, Natalya, Velvet Sky and the Women’s Title has finally gone far enough. He says that the war of words between Daffney and Natalya, although enticing and fun to watch, doesn’t prove who should be the number one contender for the Women’s Title. Therefore, Bradshaw says that, next week on Anarchy, Daffney and Natalya will face off to determine who gets a title shot against Velvet Sky at Fully Loaded.
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match: Adam Cole pinned Yoshi Tatsu after a German suplex in 0:10:33. Rating: ***
Yoshi Tatsu was fortunate enough to be given a second chance at facing Adam Cole for the X-Division Title, after Peter Bradshaw agreed that Cole had a hold of Yoshi’s trunks during their match at Rebellion. Yoshi should’ve come up with all cylinders pumping, but he seemed almost unsure of whether or not he wanted to be in the ring tonight, causing Josh Matthews and Scott Michaels to wonder if there was something deeper going on with him. Cole took advantage of Yoshi’s distracted state and made quick work of him, hitting a German suplex for the victory.
After the match, Adam Cole rolled out of the ring, grabbing his X-Division Title, and made his way up the ramp. Inside the ring, Yoshi Tatsu slowly got to his feet and exited the ring, as the crowd looked on in confusion.
Commercial Break
Cody Rhodes defeated Rob Terry by disqualification in 0:08:02. Rating: * ¾
Cody Rhodes started off having a huge evening tonight, as he began the show demanding a title shot against Kurt Angle at Fully Loaded. Throughout the night, questions were asked if Angle would agree to the payment of his “debt” to Rhodes; and there was no answer as Rhodes stepped into the ring with “The Freak” Rob Terry in tonight’s main event. Rhodes protected his injured left leg, sensing that Terry would focus in on it, keeping his bigger opponent off his game. Even with the injury, Rhodes was the quicker of the two; and he even managed a few aerial moves throughout the match. Those moves caused Rhodes to get to his feet a little slower than Terry, and ultimately, that led to Rhodes getting caught in the corner as “The Freak” tried to choke him out. But, Big Rob’s aggression got the better of him, as he refused to heed the referee’s five-count and got disqualified as a result.
After the match, Big Rob pushed the referee to the canvas and continued to choke out Cody Rhodes. Rhodes sunk to the canvas, and Big Rob began to attack his injured left leg! Rhodes begged and pleaded for Terry to stop, struggling against the ropes, until KURT ANGLE ran down to the ring and attack Terry from behind! The two men brawled in the middle of the ring until Angle whipped Terry into the ropes, ducked a clothesline, and connected with the Angle Slam! Terry rolled out of the ring as the crowd went nuts. Angle checked on Rhodes, making sure he was alright, before calling for a microphone. Angle says that, what he just did, should be enough to call off the debt. But, because Angle sees potential in Rhodes, he agrees to the match at Fully Loaded. He says that Rhodes gets his chance to enter the realm of “big time”, but not to expect Angle to take it lightly on him… injured leg or not. Angle drops the microphone and leaves the ring as Rhodes slowly staggers to his feet and watches from the ring.
Card rating: ** 1/2

Angle vs. Cody Rhodes should be great. Rhodes is one of my favs right now, and you've managed to make him a pretty interesting face. Angle's also good in this role as smug champion. Ugh... I really hate the American Wolves. Not any fault of your own. They just bug me. Nothing like taking a steel pipe to the gut, and then getting your ribs slammed in a car door. Just another day at the office... geez. Abyss can be scary. I really like the addition of Bateman. He's been fun on NXT (yes, I actually watch NXT) so we'll see what you do with him here.

Great segment to open the show. Cool to use a "favor" to get Rhodes a title shot against Angle. I wonder if this could set up a heel run for either of them.
I'm in agreement with snabbit about the Wolves. They're solid enough workers, but really have no personality. It's tough to write for them.
Curious as to what exactly is going on with Tatsu. Why someone would be hesitant about wrestling a guy who had to cheat to beat him the first time is beyond me.
Angle takes Cody up on the offer. With 3 weeks to go I don't think either man will be doing the other any more favors before Fully Loaded.

Monday Night Anarchy May 16, 2011 Taco Bell Arena - Boise, Idaho Attendance: 5,166 (40.3%)
The closing moments from last week’s episode are shown, as Kurt Angle rushed down to the ring, saving Cody Rhodes from further injury at the hands of Rob Terry. The clip ends with Angle’s acceptance of Rhode’s “payment option” and Rhodes slowly getting to his feet as Angle leaves the ring.
“Headstrong” blares through the arena, as fireworks shoot through the sky, and the crowd’s roars vibrate off the walls. People in the crowd hold up signs, as the camera pans around the arena, bringing us to the broadcast table where Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to Boise; just 13 days away from Fully Loaded. JD announces that, tonight, Natalya and Daffney will square off for the right to face Velvet Sky at Fully Loaded, for the Women’s Title. Also, it’s announced that Kaval would be making his return to in-ring action tonight, two weeks after receiving a concussion at the hands of Mr. Kennedy.
HWL Owner, Peter Bradshaw, made his way to the ring, getting a good reaction from the crowd as he entered the ring. Bradshaw said he didn’t want to take away any time from superstars tonight, because there was plenty of great action about to take place in Boise. He told the crowd that he was a witness to the acceptance of Cody Rhodes’ request by Kurt Angle last week, in this very ring, and says that it is a match that he cannot wait to see on May 29th. But, he says before that match takes place, there will be a contract signing, next week on Anarchy. And, Bradshaw announces that because of the events that took place last week, he has signed tonight’s main event: “The Freak” Rob Terry versus the Heavyweight Champion, Kurt Angle in a non-title match! The crowd goes crazy as Bradshaw thanks them for their time, before leaving the ring, as Anarchy goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Abyss defeated Skip Sheffield by disqualification in 0:00:43. Rating: * [Randy Orton interfered against Abyss.]
In a surprise that shocked everyone in attendance tonight, “The Monster” Abyss, came to the ring as a part of the first match of the evening. He stepped into the ring with who had to be his biggest opponent yet, in the “Cornfed Meathead”. This battle of behemoths never even got the chance to get started as RANDY ORTON jumped over the, grabbing a steel chair and connecting with a huge shot to the back of Abyss’ head! His face puffy, and still clearly showing signs from the vicious attack by “The Monster” last week, “The Viper” entered the ring and continued to assault Abyss with the chair until it began to lose it’s original shape. The referee finally stepped in, breaking up the attack and threatening action against Orton. Orton pushed the referee away and fell to the canvas, promising Abyss that he couldn’t get taken out that easily, before rolling out of the ring and making his way up the ramp to a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Commercial Break
Backstage, KAZ met YOSHI TATSU in the locker room, and told him that he was concerned about his mental well-being, after seeing what happened last week against Adam Cole. Yoshi said nothing in response; he only stared at the floor. Kaz said that he took it upon himself - as Yoshi’s teammate - to talk to Peter Bradshaw about getting Yoshi some kind of help. Kaz said that Bradshaw made a phone call earlier today, and had scheduled an appointment with a psychologist in New Jersey, and that he wanted Yoshi to see him next week. Again, Yoshi stared at the floor, saying nothing. Kaz said he was just trying to help his partner out, but that Yoshi didn’t need to worry about it yet; because they had a match against The American Wolves later tonight. Kaz patted Yoshi on the back before leaving the room as the camera foused on Yoshi’s motionless body.
[Number One Contenders Match]: Daffney defeated Natalya by disqualification in 0:06:44. Rating: ** ¾ [Velvet Sky interfered against Daffney.]
The war of words between Daffney and the former Women’s Champion finally came to a head tonight, as they squared off for the right to face Velvet Sky for the title at Fully Loaded. Natalya started the match off very strongly, allowing Daffney minimal offensive chances at best. Daffney finally managed some offensive - and it was huge - hitting a Frankensteiner off the top rope, but only picking up a two-count! Daffney continued to fight her way back, but VELVET SKY made he way down to the ring, and tripped Daffeny in plain sight of the referee, getting Natalya disqualified!
After the match, Daffney quickly got to her feet as Velvet backed up the ramp laughing, and saying that she wasn’t scared of Daffney. In the ring, Natalya grabbed the unsuspecting “Demonic Vixen”, locking in an airplane spin, before dumping Daffney to the canvas. Velvet, stopping in her tracks, watched as Natalya turned her sights on the Women’s Champion as Anarchy went to commercials.
Commercial Break
Backstage, AJ STYLES and MR. ANDERSON are seen standing in the hallway, when they are approached by DAVEY RICHARDS. Richards tells them that, if Ric Flair ever interferes in another one of his matches, he will not hesitate to end “The Nature Boy’s” career. Richards then tells them to watch the monitor, to see what a real tag team looks like, because it will be the Wolves - not Styles and Anderson - who will be the next Tag Team Champions. Richards walks away as Styles and Anderson angrily stare at him…
Commercial Break
The American Wolves (Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards) defeated Yoshi Tatsu and Kaz when D. Richards pinned Kaz after a tiger driver in 0:21:33. Rating: ****
This was a pretty even match from the get-go, as Kaz singled-handedly kept the Wolves at bay. However, the tide shifted as Kaz tagged out to Yoshi Tatsu, who was still showing the effects of something that has been bothering him since last week. The Wolves took the fight to Yoshi for the better part of the match. He made an effort to fight back, but just wasn’t able to make it to the corner to tag in Kaz, who was becoming increasingly antsy to re-enter the ring. The Wolves connected with the Day of the Wolves, but Kaz broke up the pinfall, causing the crowd to break out in unanimous cheers. The match continued, going past the time limit, as Kaz was tagged in. As the fresher man, he slowly started taking back the advantage, until he become the victirm of the DR Driver. However, in a shocking display, Yoshi entered the ring and broke up the pinfall attempt! Eddie Edwards entered the ring and threw Yoshi out of the ring, as Edwards connected with a tiger driver to pick up the victory.

Backstage, ADAM COLE and KYLE O’REILLY are seen celebrating Cole’s victory over Yoshi Tatsu last week, when Cole is confronted by ALEX SHELLEY. Shelley berates both men for laughing, saying that Cole should be ashamed of himself. Shelley says first, Cole cheated to keep the title at Rebellion; and then last week, he took advantage of Yoshi in a weakened mental state… all to say that he was still X-Division Champion. Irritated, Cole tells Shelley to mind his own business before pie-facing him out of the camera shot. Laughing, O’Reilly is seen kicking Shelley before joining in on the laughter as the camera went to the ring…
Mr. Anderson pinned Kaval after a somersault slam in 0:00:42. Rating: *
Kaval made his return to action tonight, taking on the man who sent him home with concussion-like symptoms. However, Anderson wasted no time going right after Kaval’s injury, kicking him square in the head as soon as the bell rang! Kaval was out on his feet, and easily fell victim to a somersault slam, as Anderon picked up a very easy victory.

[Non-Title Match]: Kurt Angle made Rob Terry submit to the ankle lock in 0:11:46. Rating: *** ¾
Rob Terry demanded that this match take place after Kurt Angle broke up his attack on Cody Rhodes last week. The Heavyweight Champion seemed up to the task, tonight, as both men battled each other all over the ringside area, and on multiple occasions, going outside the ring to inflict punishment on each other. Angle was more agile and mobile then Rhodes was last week, which made it harder for “Big Rob” to use his strength over overpower the Champ. Though Terry landed some big shots during the match, all they led to were near falls that further aggravated hrthe big man. Terry’s tactics began to dwindle increasingly, allowing Angle to catch him in an ankle lock. “Big Rob” fought through the pain for 30 seconds, before finally reaching the ropes. Second later, Terry attempted a clothesline, which Angle ducked before locking in the ankle lock for a second time. Terry wasted no time before tapping out, giving Angle the victory.
Card rating: ** ¾

You've done a good job of building Orton back up. I wasn't huge on him when he was buried in the team with Alex Shelley, but he's back as a legit contender thanks to this feud with Abyss. Wondering where this thing with Yoshi is going. I can't decide if having Yoshi go heel or Kaz go heel would be the cooler option. Either way, I don't think it's smart for Tatsu to be wrestling while he's sad. Velvet Sky is going to live to regret screwing over Nattie. Not sure if that's a full-fledged heel turn by Yoshi or not, but definitely an interesting next step in the story. Well, maybe Kaval came back a little early from his concussion. Got smoked. Really put Rob Terry over tonight by having him survive one ankle lock before succumbing to the second. Angle/Rhodes will be very good.

Monday Night Anarchy May 23, 2011 Bryce Jordan Center - University Park, Pennsylvania Attendance: 12,209 (80%)
“Headstrong” blares through the arena, and fireworks shoot through the air, as the crowd goes crazy. A camera pans through the audience, as the lights come back on, lighting up the smoke-filled ringside area. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to the campus of Penn State University, just six days away from Fully Loaded. They announce that the Tag Team Titles will be on the line tonight, as The Hart Dynasty will defend the belts against Skip Sheffield and Rob Terry. But, the say the one thing most of the fans have been waiting for, is the contract signing between Kurt Angle and Cody Rhodes, later tonight.
Natalya comes out to the ring, getting a round of boos from the crowd, and is followed down the ramp by David Hart Smith and Tyson Kidd. Inside the ring, the three of them let the boos rain down on them, saying nothing. When the crowd dies down, Natalya gets on the microphone and says that she didn’t come out to talk about the Tag Team Title Match, because there was no doubt in her mind that Smith and Kidd would walk out with the titles still around their waists. She says that she came out tonight to talk about Velvet Sky.
Natalya says that, last week, Velvet Sky took matters into her own hands, and interfered in her match against Daffney. Natalya says that Velvet had no right to even be seen at ringside, but instead chose to hand-pick her opponent for Fully Loaded this Sunday night. Natalya says that she didn’t want to agree with Daffney about Velvet being scared to defend her Women’s Title; but says that after last week, it’s clear that Velvet is scared… scared of Natalya. She says that Velvet obviously feels more confident about defending the title against Daffney then she does about putting it on the line against Natalya - the longest-reigning Women’s Champion in the history of the HWL. She says that there’s little she can do about the decision - or the match this Sunday night - but promises Velvet that she hasn’t heard the last from Natalya.
Natalya, Smith and Kidd leave the ring as Anarchy goes to commercials.

Randy Orton defeated Steve Corino by disqualification in 0:01:57. Rating: *** [Abyss interfered against Randy Orton.]
A week after returning from the brutal attack at the hands of “The Monster” Abyss, and attacking him with a chair, “The Viper” was back in action in the opening bout. Orton came to the ring with his ribs still wrapped, and Corino focused in on Orton’s midsection as the bell rang, gaining a quick advantage. Orton tried to stage a comeback, but was distracted as ABYSS made his way down the ramp, and stood at ringside. Orton quickly fell victim to a dropkick to the midsection, causing Orton to back peddle into the ropes, that Abyss pulled down. Orton fell hard onto this ribs as the referee called for the bell, before running across the ring and demanding that Abyss leave ringside.
Abyss picked up Orton and whipped him into the steel ring steps, ribs first. He then stomped Orton repeatedly in the ribs, before ripping off the bandage, and exposing “The Viper’s” injury. Abyss continued his attack, lifting Orton into the air and dropping him stomach-first onto the steel steps, as the crowd rained boos onto him. Abyss picked Orton up and slammed his lower back into the ring apron before pulling him away and hitting The Black Hole Slam onto the concrete!! Orton laid motionless, on the floor, as Abyss stood above him, HWL officials rushing down the ramp to finally break up the assault. They escorted Abyss up the ramp as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels wondered what condition Orton would be this Sunday for Fully Loaded…
Commercial Break
Alisha Hicks is seen, backstage, with Women’s Champion Velvet Sky. Alisha asks Velvet to comment on the statements made by Natalya at the beginning of the show; and Velvet says that she’s sick and tired of hearing everyone say that she’s afraid to get in the ring and defend the Women’s Title. She says that her and Daffney have had a long-running rivalry, and that Daffney knows deep down that Velvet isn’t afraid of it. In fact, Velvet says that she will prove how unaffected she is by facing Daffney at Fully Loaded, that she challenges “The Demonic Princess” to a Tables Match this Sunday night!
And, Velvet says that Natalya is threatening her, saying that she hasn’t heard the last from Natalya. Velvet says that Natalya is the LAST person she would be afraid of, because it was Velvet who ended Natalya’s second reign as champion, in January. Velvet says that Natalya can complain all she wants to, but the fact is: Daffney is the number one contender, and this Sunday night their unfinished business will finally get taken care of.
[HWL Tag Team Title Match]: The Hart Dynasty (David Hart Smith & Tyson Kidd) defeated Skip Sheffield & Rob Terry when T. Kidd pinned R. Terry after a Thesz press in 0:17:09. Rating: *** (The Hart Dynasty retained the HWL Tag Team Titles.) [Natalya interfered against Rob Terry.]
The Tag Team Titles were on the line tonight - a special occasion on Anarchy - as these two teams squared off in a rematch from Wrestleocolypse I. Sheffield and Terry came out strong, using their slight strength advantage to gain the upper hand, picking up a few near-falls along the way. And, as per usual, Natalya couldn’t resist the urge to get involved when she felt her family were close to losing the titles. She was reprimanded by the official, but the damage had already been done; the interference had gotten into the challengers’ heads. “Big Rob” tried to fight back, but Kidd reversed the spine buster attempt into a Thesz press for the victory.
After the match, Kidd rolled out of the ring as Natalya grabbed the titles from the time keeper, and The Hart Dynasty made their way up the ramp as Rob Terry slowly got to his feet, shaking his head…

A video plays, showing the busy streets of a city somewhere in Pennsylvania. The scene cuts to an office, where YOSHI TATSU is seen, sitting on a couch with his head in his hands. A male doctor is seen, sitting in a chair across the room, looking at his client. The doctor asks Yoshi a series of questions, in the hopes of getting to the bottom of whatever issue have been bothering him. For every question asked, Yoshi keeps his head down, looking at the floor, saying nothing. The room is silent for a few moments, before the therapist informs Yoshi that their time is almost finished, and reminds him that he’s in a safe place; no one will know about what is said in his office. Yoshi looks up, a look of anger crossing his face, and he lunges towards the doctor, attacking him! The doctor screams out in fear, and seconds later his secretary appears in the doorway, screaming at the sight she sees.
Yoshi continues to attack the therapist as security guards enter the room, grabbing Yoshi by the arms, and pulling him off the doctor. The secretary comes back into the room and tends to the therapist as the scene fades to black…

Colt Cabana & Derrick Bateman defeated Jey Uso & Eddie Edwards when D. Bateman defeated E. Edwards when E. Edwards passed out in an airplane spin in 0:10:58. Rating: *** (Davey Richards no-showed.)
This match was given a little shock as it was announced that Davey Richards was unable to compete, and that he had not been seen since arriving at the arena earlier in the day. JEY USO took Richards’s spot, and from the get-go, the combination didn’t seem to work. Uso and Edwards never seemed to be on the same page; whereas Cabana and Bateman showed flashes of being able to work together. The ending of the match saw Derrick Bateman lock Edwards into an airplane spin, dropping him to the canvas before the referee called for the match.
After the match, Cabana and Bateman left the ring, as the referee tried to get Edwards to his feet. As Edwards slowly gets to his feet, the Titantron comes on, showing Davey Richards tied to a chair, somewhere inside the arena. AJ STYLES and MR. ANDERSON appear on screen and say that it’s no surprise that there are somewhere on campus; and that if The Wolves were going to take part in Fully Loaded on Sunday, that Edwards needed to come find them. The screen went off, and Edwards hurried out of the ring, running up the ramp and getting clobbered by a right fist by “The Nature Boy” RIC FLAIR! Flair continued to attack Edwards, wearing down his legs, before locking in the Figure-Four Leglock! As the crowd went crazy, booing, Styles and Anderson appeared on-stage, joining in on the assault. Moments later, HWL officials came on-stage and broke up the attack as EMTs tended to Eddie Edwards…

Adam Cole is seen walking through the hallways, when he approached, again, by ALEX SHELLEY. Shelley says that Cole must feel like very powerful, having Kyle O’Reilly at his beckon call each and every week. Shelley says that he stills thinks of Cole as a disgrace to the X-Division, and that there are much more deserving people that should be carrying that title belt around.
Cole stops, turns to face Shelley, in deep thought. He nods his head and says that Shelley was right; there are more deserving people that should be holding the X-Division Title belt… before taking the belt off his shoulder and hitting Shelley in the face with it! Cole stands over Shelley, who is holding his head in pain, and says that until one of those people challenge him for the title, he’s the one that will carry it around. He laughs and heads towards the ring…
[Non-Title Match]: AJ Styles pinned Adam Cole after hitting him with a foreign object in 0:15:20. Rating: *** ¾ [Ric Flair & Alex Shelley interfered against Adam Cole.]
Just moments after revealing that he an Mr. Anderson had kidnapped Davey Richards - at the behest of Ric Flair - AJ STYLES stepped into the ring against the X-Division Champion in a non-title match. Cole had his hands full tonight, having to deal with not only Styles and Flair, but also ALEX SHELLEY, who came down to ringside after the confrontation the two had just moments before the match. Styles tried to use the distraction to gain the upper hand, but was never able to put Cole away. Styles frustration got the better of him, and he argued with the referee, backing him into a corner. Cole got to his feet, attempting to attack Styles from behind, but Shelley slid into the ring and connected with a deafening chair shot that sent Cole to the canvas, unconscious. Flair yelled at Styles to make the cover, and “The Phenomenal One” picked up a cheap victory, as the crowd booed the action.
After the match, Styles, Flair and Chelsea all left the ring as Shelley slid back into the ring, and stood over Cole. Shelley challenges Cole to match for the X-Division Title, Sunday Night, at Fully Loaded. The crowd roared with approval as Shelley left the ring and Anarchy went to commercials.

A preview for Fully Loaded airs, with “Lies of the Beautiful People”, by Sixx:AM, playing in the background. The event will take place Sunday, May 29th, live from East Rutherford, New Jersey!
The camera shows a red carpet, draping over the canvas of the ring, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michael discuss the events that have led to this moment. A long, wooden table sits in the center of the ring, with two office chairs sitting on either side. The crowd crows with anticipation as Peter Bradshaw makes his way to the ring. He says that he has taken every precaution tonight, in the hopes of this contract signing going off without a hitch. He announces that there will be no stipulations involved in this match, outside of the agreement that both Cody Rhodes and Kurt Angle made.
Bradshaw introduces Cody Rhodes first, as he comes down to the ring in a t-shirt and jeans, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Rhodes enters the ring, and grabs the microphone sitting on his end of the table. He says that this Sunday night is a moment he has been waiting for his entire life. He says he remembers growing up, and watching his father battle Ric Flair for the NWA Heavyweight Title on many occasions. Rhodes says that, even as a child, he knew that he would be destined to get the same chances that his father had received. He says that he didn’t want to earn those chances based on his last name, alone; but that he would do whatever it took to earn a shot at the Heavyweight Title. He says that he feels he’s done what he’s needed to get this shot, but that luck had something to do with it as well. Rhodes says that, eventually, he would be given his shot at the Heavyweight Title, but a month ago, he saw his opening to take his chance, by helping Kurt Angle. He says he respects Angle for following through with his offer of owing Rhodes anything, and says that he looks forward to stealing the show, Sunday night, at Fully Loaded.
Bradshaw then introduces Kurt Angle, who comes out wearing a suit - with the Heavyweight Title draped over his shoulder - getting a huge reaction from the crowd. Angle enters the ring, and walks to the other side of the table before grabbing his microphone. He looks at Rhodes and says that he has done everything to earn his shot at the Heavyweight Title. Angle says that Rhodes has nearly worked himself to death for the chance to main event an HWL pay-per-view. He says that, due to some unfortunate events a few weeks ago, that’s exactly where Rhodes finds himself. Angle doesn’t doubt that Rhodes has the skills and the determination to be Heavyweight Champion; it’s just that Rhodes has never been tested like he will be on Sunday night.
Rhodes jumps to his feet, but Bradshaw cuts him off. Bradshaw says that he will NOT have this contract signing ruined by issues that can be resolved this Sunday night. Rhodes slowly sits down, staring at Angle, as Bradshaw places a contract in front of them. Both men begin to sign their respective contracts as the lights go out in the arena; the crowd goes crazy! When the lights came back on, ABYSS was standing in front of the ring, causing Rhodes and Angle to both stand from their seats, ready to fight. Abyss slowly entered the ring, grabbing the microphone from Bradshaw, and issuing a warning. He says that his time as champion is coming, and that both Rhodes and Angle should realize that “The Monster” is not playing around anymore.
Abyss drops the microphone and starts to head out of the ring, as RANDY ORTON runs, limping, down the ramp, sliding into the ring, and attacking “The Monster”. Bradshaw quickly gets out of the ring as Rhodes and Angle join in the fray. Rhodes and Orton brawl in one corner of the ring, as Abyss and Angle claim the other corner. Both Orton and Abyss take swings at their opponents, only to have them ducked under. Rhodes connects with the Cross Rhodes, while Angle connects with an Angle Slam, sending both men through the table in the center of the ring!! The crowd goes crazy as Rhodes and Angle get to their feet, staring at each other over the bodies of Orton and Abyss. Outside the ring, Peter Bradshaw looks on in shock as Anarchy goes off the air…

HWL FULLY LOADED PPV May 29, 2011 Izod Center - East Rutherford, New Jersey Attendance: 5,791 (28%)A hype video is shown, advertising the main event match between Cody Rhodes and HWL Heavyweight Champion Kurt Angle. The final image of the video is of Rhodes and Angle standing over the bodies of Abyss and Randy Orton, at the end of Monday Night Anarchy. “Lies of the Beautiful People” begins to play throughout the arena, as fireworks shoot from the stage, and Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels welcome everyone to East Rutherford, NJ. They announce the five matches that will be taking place here tonight, including the main event match between Rhodes and Angle for the Heavyweight Title. JD sends it to the ring for the first title match of the night… [X-Division Title Match]: Adam Cole pinned Alex Shelley after a flying forearm in 0:17:09. Rating: ** ¼ (Adam Cole retained the HWL X-Division Title.) [Kyle O’Reilly interfered against Alex Shelley.]This match, which came about after a couple weeks of tense confrontations between these two men, was as fast-paced as everyone had expected; and wasted no time before incorporating arena floor - and the crowd - into the action. Cole and Shelley battled it out throughout the arena floor, and the ringside area, using an array of aerial moves that brought the crowd to its feet. Shelley was hoping to take away the one thing that Cole had been holding onto for months, knocking him off the pedestal he had made for himself. But, Cole has always stated that he wasn’t alone in his quest to make it to the top, and that was proven tonight as KYLE O’REILLY made his way to the ring and tripped Shelley as the match went back into the ring. The distraction allowed Cole to connect with a flying forearm; and as the referee made the three-count, from outside the ring, O’Reilly held Shelley’s legs. After the match, Cole and O’Reilly quickly left the ring as Shelley got to his feet, pleading his case. But, as Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels reminded everyone, in the X-Division, everything is legal. Shelley kicked the ropes in frustration before leaving the ring as the scene goes black… A video is shown, with the tag of “last week”, of Eddie Edwards walking through the campus of Penn State University, in search of Davey Richards. The video shows Edwards searching high and low, all over the large college campus: in class buildings, the boiler room of Beaver Stadium, and anywhere that he thought his partner could be. The video ends as Edwards, sweaty and frustrated, walks up the staircase entering Holderman Hall. The camera follows him as he searches the hallways, and goes down into the basement, where he finds Davey Rhichards, tied to a chair, covered in dirt and sweat. Edwards unties Richards and swears that AJ Styles and Mr. Anderson will pay for this… Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with DAFFNEY. Alisha asks how Daffney feels, going into tonight’s Table Match with the Women’s Title on the line. Daffney says that, if this is an attempt at Velvet Sky to get into her head, then it’s a horrible try by someone who only knows how to be two things: pretty and a slut! Daffney says that when she was in TNA, she made a name for herself by putting a number of women through tables - including Velvet Sky. Daffney says she’s going to keep her promise, and take away the only thing Velvet has going for her - her good looks - and will walk away as the new Women’s Champion. The American Wolves (Davey Richards & Eddie Edwards) defeated AJ Styles & Mr. Anderson when E. Edwards pinned Styles after a face buster in 0:19:37. **AJ Styles suffered an elbow injury. He will be out approximately three (3) weeks.** Rating: **** ¼The American Wolves couldn’t have been more ready for this match, after weeks of back-and-forth one-up-manship led to Davey Richards being kidnapped last Monday night. Styles and Anderson came into this match looking to finally get some retribution for the Wolves’ treatment of Ric Flair over the past few weeks, and both teams were ready to take whatever punishment they needed to, to call themselves victors. Styles hit a bevy of strong moves through the match, focusing his attention on the weaker Richards. After tagging in Anderson, Styles watched as Richards made the hot tag, and he and Edwards cleaned up, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. Edwards went to work on Anderson, hitting him with a dropkick and going for the cover. Edwards argued with the referee before dropping Anderson with a DDT and covering him again. This time, Chelsea go onto the apron, distracting the referee, breaking up the pinfall. This allowed Anderson time to roll over and tag in Styles, who ran into the ring, and was met with a vicious power slam! Edwards went for the cover, only to have Anderson make the save! Infuriated, Edwards threw Anderson through the ropes, landing onto Flair and Chelsea! Edwards picked up Styles and planted him in the center of the ring with a face buster, grabbing his legs for the final 1-2-3! After the match, The American Wolves celebrated their victory as the referee tended to Styles who, as JD and SM mentioned, had come down awkwardly on his elbow while taking the final move. The referee helped Styles of the ring, and he walked up the ramp, holding his elbow in pain… Backstage, Alisha Hicks is seen with Women’s Champion VELVET SKY. Velvet says that she heard what Daffney had to say about trying to get into her head, denying that’s what she’s trying to do. She says that she wanted their last match to be something memorable; and that a victory tonight would erase all the doubts in her mind that her loses to Daffney had created. Velvet says that Daffney may have gotten the best of her both in the beginning of her HWL run - and in TNA - but, after tonight, she is done with “The Demonic Princess”. In the parking lot, Tim Hanson catches up with RANDY ORTON, who is seen getting out of his car. Hanson asks Orton how he feels tonight, as Orton limps through the garage. “The Viper” stops and says that his body is in so much pain, that he’s surprised he’s able to stand tonight. Orton says that this pain would be unbearable for anyone who didn’t have something to prove tonight. Orton says that he doesn’t care about how much pain he’s in tonight, because it’ll all be worth it when he finally gets his hands on Abyss tonight. He says that all the pain, all the blood and all the stitches will be forgotten after he takes down “The Monster”… Tables lined the barricade at ringside as both Daffney and the Women’s Champion, Velvet Sky, made their way to the ring before the match. When the bell rang, neither Vixen was willing to give up control as the match spilled out onto the arena floor. Velvet showed an unseen sadistic side to her, by ramming Daffney into the barricade, repeatedly, trying to wear down “The Demonic Princess’s” back. Velvet quickly set up a table as Daffney got to her feet, before smashing Daffney’s head into it. She rolled Daffney onto the table and brought her to a standing position. Velvet hit a DDT onto the table, but it didn’t break! The sound of shock from the crowd echoed through the arena as both Vixen’s crumpled to the ground. Slowly getting to their feet, Daffney caught Velvet with a kick to the midsection, before suplexing her into the air, and crashing down through the table! The bell sounded as Daffney was announced the winner! Backstage, ABYSS is seen walking through the hallways, when he is approached by Tim Hanson. Hanson asks for a response on Randy Orton’s statements just a few moments ago, but Abyss says nothing. Hanson then asks for a clarification of Abyss’s comments, Monday night, during the contract signing. Abyss suddenly stops, turns towards Hanson, and stares at him for a moment. Abyss begins to laugh as he turns away from Hanson, continuing to walk down the hallway… Alisha Hicks is seen, standing with CODY RHODES, backstage. She asks for his last comments before stepping into the ring against Kurt Angle for the Heavyweight Title tonight. Rhodes says that, for weeks, he has done nothing by try to be a mature, standup guy backstage. He hasn’t had a bad thing to say about Kurt Angle or this match tonight; but he says that he feels belittled by what the Heavyweight Champion said Monday night, on Anarchy. Rhodes says that he knows this is his first chance of headlining a pay-per-view, and that there is a lot more riding on this then just the Heavyweight Title. Rhodes says that Angle can have his impression of Rhodes - thinking that he doesn’t have what it takes to be the champion - but, that he is going out tonight, planning on proving Angle wrong… Abyss and Randy Orton fought to a draw in 20:00. Rating: ** ¾For weeks, Randy Orton and Abyss had been trading hellacious attacks on each other - bother backstage and in front of the live audiences. Orton still blamed Abyss for costing him the Heavyweight Title at Rebellion; and Abyss appeared content with just causing damage throughout the HWL, no matter who was a victim. This match was brutal from the start as Abyss teed off on Orton’s still-injured ribs, cutting down “The Viper’s” air supply, and limiting his ability to stand straight up throughout the match. But, Orton keot his word from earlier in the evening, and he didn’t allow anything “The Monster” threw at him to get keep him down. Orton was able to fight back, as the match went out to the arena floor, and was able to gain the upper hand by ramming Abyss’s back into the ring post. But, with the referee counting them out, both men made their way back into the ring. Orton held the advantage, and connected with a picture-perfect RKO, but Abyss managed to get a shoulder up just before the three-count. After arguing with the referee about the slow count, Orton attempted another RKO, but was caught in a choke slam. Abyss made the cover, but Orton was close enough to the ropes, and draped his foot on the bottom rope to break up the pinfall. Frustrated, Abyss went back outside the ring, and grab a table from underneath the ring! As he tried to bring the table inside the ring, the time limit expired, and the referee rang for the bell, calling the match a draw! After the match, Abyss tossed the referee aside, and hit another choke slam on Orton! Abyss then set up the table in the center of the ring, before whipping Orton into the ropes, and sending him through the table with a vicious Black Hole Slam! The crowd roared with boos as Abyss got to his feet and looked over the wreckage he had caused. The camera focused on Orton’s lifeless body, as the scene cuts backstage… KURT ANGLE is shown, walking around backstage, carrying the Heavyweight Title around his waist. Alisha Hicks approaches and asks for any last-minute thoughts he might have before the match. Angle says that he has been in this situation before: headlining a pay-per-view. He says he’s headlined every HWL event since December. Angle says that this is new ground for Cody Rhodes, and that he hopes Rhodes brings his “A-Game” to the ring tonight. Angle laughs and says that’s probably not going to happen, because the pressure will be too much for Rhodes; and that Angle will walk away with the Heavyweight Title still in his possession… A preview for TURNING POINT is shown, with “Deliver Us” by In Flames playing in the background. Turning Point will take place, Sunday, June 26th from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! [HWL Heavyweight Title Match]: Cody Rhodes pinned Kurt Angle after an inside cradle in 0:21:40. Rating: *** ¾ (Cody Rhodes won the HWL Heavyweight Title.)This was the match everyone in attendance had been waiting all night for. For weeks, not a bad word was uttered by either Cody Rhodes or Kurt Angle about the other before tonight’s main event. There was no rivalry leading up to tonight; it was simply a match that Angle agreed to as a form of payment for Rhodes’s assistance a few weeks back. But, as always, Angle - a master of mind games - landed the first punch by suggesting that Rhodes wasn’t ready. When the match started tonight, neither man wasted any time locking in their respective submission holds. Angle was first with the Figure Four; and that was followed up by a sleeper hold by Rhodes. The action went back and forth until Rhodes connected with the Cross Rhodes, and appeared to be set for victory. But, he wasted too much time, and Angle was able to kick out at two. Angle fought back as the time limit approached, eventually locking in the Ankle Lock. Rhodes screamed in pain as the time limit expired; but the referee allowed the match to continue since the title was on the line. Rhodes struggled to get to the ropes, breaking the hold, and Angle walked away in a good position to retain the title. As he approached Rhodes, Rhodes took Angle by surprise with an inside cradle, and the referee counted to three!! The crowd roared in shock applause as Rhodes is announced the winner! After the match, Rhodes is handed the title as he falls to the ground, exhausted. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels discuss how Rhodes was able to show up “The Olympic Gold Medalist” tonight, and that he’s proved himself to be a worthy Heavyweight Champion. Then, suddenly, the lights in the arena go out as cameras flash all around ringside. Moments later, the lights come back up, and ABYSS is seen standing in the center of the ring, holding his “Golden Opportunity” contract in his hand. “The Monster” throws his paper towards the referee, who instantly rings the bell, and the crowd roars with anticipation… [HWL Heavyweight Title Match]: Abyss pinned Cody Rhodes with the Black Hole Slam in 0:01:03. Rating: ** (Abyss won the HWL Heavyweight Title.)Abyss wasted no time after the ball rang, picking up Rhodes and whipping him into the ropes. But Rhodes had enough wherewithal to duck Abyss’s clothesline, and connect with one of his own, but “The Monster” didn’t go down! Rhodes ran into the ropes again, and this time, was met with a vicious boot to the chin. Abyss grabbed Rhodes, whipped him into the far ropes, and planted him with the Black Hole Slam. Abyss made the cover, and the referee counted to three, and the HWL had it’s second new Heavyweight Champion of the evening!! After the match, Abyss stood in the ring, looking over the bodies of Rhodes and Angle, as the crowd roared with anger. Josh Daniels and Scott Michaels were both in shock, and said that there was no telling what would happen tomorrow night, on Anarchy. They signed off for the night as the event faded to black. PPV! Good opener. No problem with the champ retaining. It was like a game of Where's Waldo? looking for dirty smelly Davey Richards. I hate the American Wolves, but after someone gets kidnapped, they surely have to win. New Women's champ! Sounded like a decent match, which surprises me because table matches are hit or miss anyway. Nothing wrong with the draw. It was still a good match, no one eats the loss (this is a time where I think that was okay, given what you did later) and Abyss comes off looking like a beast with the table spot. Gives Orton motivation to want to come back and beat some ass. I really liked the ending of your show. First of all, I marked out huge for Cody Rhodes winning the title. That's awesome, as he's pretty much my favorite. I even liked the inside cradle win. And Abyss coming out made perfect sense too. He finally wins the gold and it lasts two minutes. Poor guy... now where does this all fit in with Orton...
