NAWA Truth or Consequences 2006
Part One
A video package is shown at the top of the show, showcasing Miles Stylish and Teddy Hart, with some of their biggest victories in the New Age Wrestling Alliance. Tonight, for one hour, both men will step into the ring, in an Iron Man Match. The ultimate test of endurance, for one hour, both men will step into the ring and the man who gains the most decisions within that hour will be the NAWA World Champion. Teddy Hart is the defending champion, having spent nearly three years fighting his way towards the gold but Miles Stylish wants it back, for the third time in his career!
We kick things off with Nigel McGuinness making his way down to the ring, running down the fans tonight, calling them toothless inbred degenerates and all of them the product of cousins buggering each other. The crowd boos and Nigel states that these “wankers” obviously have no idea what true greatness his like and he's going to fulfill their lives by gracing them. McGuinness talks about how he wants to become the NAWA World Champion and he's going to get another step closer. He talks about how he's going to win the match by using his deadly Jawbreaker Lariat, a move that can knock anyone unconscious just like that. “War Machine” by KISS plays and out comes Rhino, who looks ready. It has been a while since Rhino's gotten a chance to compete in the New Age Wrestling Alliance but he can really shake off some ring rust, against the undefeated competitor from the United Kingdom tonight, Nigel McGuinness.
Rhino vs. Nigel McGuinness
It is obvious from the get go that McGuinness is not going to win a fist fight with Rhino, who bullies him into the corner and unloads away with the forearms, before Rhino throws him into the corner. Hoisted him up and a huge inverted atomic drop, before Rhino takes a step back and drills McGuinness with a kneelift right to the chest. Another kneelift right to the chest. A third kneelift right to the chest and Rhino scoops up Nigel McGuinness, before slamming him down. Rhino measures his opponent and drops an elbow down across the chest. He picks up his opponent and hammers away with elbows across the back of the head. More elbows across the back of the head and Rhino throws him into the ropes. Nigel McGuinness collides with the corner hard and Rhino drills him with a forearm right to the chest. A double axe handle behind the head of McGuinness and Rhino sets him up for a suplex but McGuinness blocks and counters with a single arm DDT!
Rhino grunts in pain as his shoulder could have been dislocated. McGuinness drills a knee right into the arm and picks up Rhino, before paint brushing him right across the face, showing utter disdain and disrespect, before he grabs the arm of the War Machine and he dives over the top rope, snapping the arm across the rope. Nigel McGuinness, like a shark smelling blood, has zeroed right in the body part and he beats on Rhino, giving him an European Uppercut and hammerlocking the arm, before driving a knee right to the back and then he leaps up and drives Rhino's injured right arm into the knees, almost like a modified back stabber. Nigel McGuinness is going for the cover. One, Two, Rhino kicks out. Still some fight left in Rhino but Nigel McGuinness drills him with a boot right to the face. Another boot right to the face and stepping behind. He steps back and forearm smash right to the back of the head and pumphandles the arm, cranking on it, before he rolls Rhino into a La Magistral Cradle. One, Two, Rhino kicks out!
Nigel McGuinness elbows Rhino in the stomach and grabs the arm, before giving him a single arm DDT! McGuinness then turns and folds the arm into a Fujiwara Armbar! We have to get a good look at the face of Rhino, to see if he is submitting, but Rhino is forcing his way out of the hold. Rhino is almost out of the hold and Nigel McGuinness breaks the hold, picking him up and giving him a shoulder throw, before he leapfrogs over Rhino and bounces off the ropes, with a falling European Uppercut in one fluid motion. Nigel McGuinness now grabs the arm and folds it back, before he drops down onto the arm with a series of scissor stomps. He's taking away the power game from Rhino and is also eliminating that deadly Gore! Nigel McGuinness picks up Rhino and into the ropes. Elbow smash ducked but Nigel McGuinness catches him with a kick coming across the ropes. Cradle and fluid fisherman suplex! Bridge with the cradle and the cover. One, Two, Thr...Rhino somehow manages to get the kick out!
It should be noted that cover was done with Nigel shifting his weight on the good arm, thus forcing Rhino to exert the injured arm when he rolled the shoulder and thus straining the injury more. Nigel McGuinness knows the tools of the trade, as he begins to pick apart the injury once again with kicks and slaps Rhino around, before taking him down with an armbar takedown and now he grabs Rhino, before folding the shoulder back, a camel clutch/cross-face chickenwing hybrid like move. Nigel McGuinness is really pushing on the shoulder injury but Rhino is fighting out of the hold. Rhino is almost out of the hold but Nigel McGuinness forces him back down. Forearms down across the back and Nigel McGuinness gives Rhino a swinging neckbreaker to put him down to the canvas, before now applying an arm grapevine. Rhino is trying to power out, despite the pain and Nigel McGuinness is pounding away at the back of the head, but Rhino is somehow back to his feet and HE FALLS BACK, CAUSING THE BACK OF HIS OPPONENT'S HEAD TO CRASH INTO THE CANVAS!
McGuinness is on dream street as the referee is putting on the ten count but Rhino is back up, one arm and he fires away with punches with the good arm, before he throws Nigel McGuinness into the corner. Launching him up with the high back body drop. Rhino now stomps away at Nigel McGuinness, before throwing him into the corner. Inverted atomic drop and now Rhino headbutts Nigel McGuinness, before hooking him. He manages to pull off a gutwrench suplex, but the right arm is in fact killing him. Going for the cover. One, Two, Nigel McGuinness kicks out. Now Rhino is favoring the arm and back to his feet, but Nigel McGuinness is back to his feet as well and Rhino blocks a punch, before he fires back with a headbutt. Another massive headbutt and Nigel McGuinness is begging off, before throwing him into the ropes. A huge bone rattling spinebuster brings Nigel McGuinness down to the canvas, but Rhino is in the corner. He wants the Gore and Nigel McGuinness is back to his feet. Rhino charges but Nigel McGuinness side steps and RHINO CRASHES SHOULDER FIRST INTO THE RING POST! The right shoulder collided with the post and Nigel McGuinness backs up, before he bounces off the ropes and explodes with a Jawbreaker Lariat. Cover on Rhino. One, Two, Three. Nigel McGuinness is your winner.
Nigel McGuinness pinned Rhino with the Jawbreaker Lariat in 0:11:21.
Rating: *** 1/2
Nigel McGuinness gets the win tonight and remains undefeated. Rhino tried to stage a comeback with only one arm but it was all for nothing.

Dan Marion is standing by with Harry Harris, to talk to him about his NAWA Television Title match with Samoa Joe later tonight. Harris says that tonight, in a little over an hour's time, he will step into the ring with Samoa Joe. The NAWA Television Title, the belt Joe has held for the past sixteen months will be at stake and Joe's nearly two year long undefeated streak will be as well. Harry Harris talks about how it comes the time where everyone has to step up, to prove what its like to be the best and Harris admits that there are many who think that he might have lost a few steps, due to countless injuries over the last couple of years. He hasn't won any gold since he returned from a near career ending neck injury but Harris says that he's made a career of proving the so called experts wrong. They said he would never become anything but a garbage wrestler. Proved them wrong. He never would become the NAWA World Champion. Proved the wrong. He would never win the belt a second time. Proved them wrong. His career was over after he suffered his neck injury, they said as well and Harris says the fact that he is standing here. He talks about how people say that there's no way that Samoa Joe can be beaten and no way that Harris can beat him but Harris says there's always a first time for everything.
We are back to the ring for the first of four championship matches tonight.

The Rottweilers are the new NAWA World Tag Team Champions, finally getting the gold and Lynn is back into the ring, as the Gambler pulls himself to his feet, staggered. Next month at StarClash 06, Jerry Lynn will face the Gambler for the NAWA International Championship so it could be inevitable that this would have happened! Killings is now back on his feet and he kicks away. Going for a kneelift and hits. K-Driller but Sabin shoves Killings off the ropes. Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley defeated Matt Bentley and Ron Killings when
A. Shelley pinned Killings with the Shell Shock in 0:13:15.
Rating: ****
Sabin and Shelley get the win, as Bentley enters the ring. The announcers talk about how Bentley, on instincts because he teamed with Chris Sabin for so long, and they were the longest reigning NAWA World Tag Team Champions in history, hit that Superkick on Killings, before Sabin hit the Cradle Shock. It was a move that won so many matches and Sabin tricked Bentley into attacking his own partner to lead it up. Instincts can be good in wrestling but tonight, that cost Bentley and Killings the match, as Bentley teamed up with Sabin for so long, that he essentially has that finishing sequence hard wired into his mind. The Motor City Machine Guns get the win and Killings and Bentley are having words about that loss.
