He took the belt from the referee and draped it over Rio and yelled into his microphone "El ganador y nuevo CampeĆ³n Mundial Peso Pesado de IWA, Alberto Del Rio!!" The Mexico City crowed booed as Rodriguz helped his employer to the back.
The following will compete in the North American title Tournament next week in Monterrey Mexico.

Ok, I know, I know. Your restarting. Yes unfortunately this version of IWA would not start when I tried to open it. It would flash and the vanish. I only had about 2 months booked so I decided to change it up a little and re run it with some tweaks. To my one reader lets try it again.

AJ won the title, but Magnus was a beast during the match! I can see him saying that AJ took advantage of all his hard work to win the belt, thus deserving a title shot. It'll be interesting to see what AJ has to say next week.

- Joey Styles and Tazz welcomes everyone to Monterrey Mexico one week removed from starting Point. Last week AJ Styles with the help of his mentor Ric Flair walked away from Mexico City the IWA World Heavyweight champion. tonight we will hear from Styles and who will get the first shot at the title. The main event tonight will be a four corners match for the IWA North American Heavyweight title. The participants; Bryan Daniels, Cody Rhodes, Christian and Hernandez.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(1) Chris Masters made Magnus submit to the Master Lock in 0:10:34. Rating: ** 1/2
- Magnus who was a beast in last weeks Battle royal came up short faced powerhouse Chris Masters. We all new there would be no real wrestling as both men tried to out power the other. Masters locked on the Master lock and got Magnus to submit soon after.
- Backstage Cody Rhodes is asked about his chances in tonight's main event for the IWA North America Heavyweight title. Rhodes talks about being a complete package. He has the talent and the looks and after tonight he will have the belt for the trifecta.
(2)Daisuke Sekimoto pinned Jack Swagger with the Deadlift German Suplex in 0:14:28 Rating: ** 1/4
- Last week Sekimoto eliminated Swagger from the Battle Royal and tonight Swagger was looking for some revenge. Unfortunately history repeated itself and Sekimoto got the win with a deadlift German Suplex.
- We go backstage as a white Limo pulls into the arena as were told that Ric Flair and the IWA Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles have arrived and will be coming to the ring soon. (3) Abdullah Kobayashi and Brian Kendrick defeated Amazing Red and Bobby Dempsey when A. Kobayashi pinned Red with the Bakachinga Elbow in 0:12:20. Rating: ** 1/2
Kendrick who was dumped by Rhodes last week teamed up with the Beast from the Far East, Abdullah Kobayashi. This was a brutal match as Kobayashi destroyed Dempsey then took out Red for the win.
- An updated version of Ric Flair's music hits the arena as AJ Styles makes his way to the ring followed by Flair who is strutting all the way to the ring. In the ring, Flair talks about how for almost 40 years he was the man. How he wrestled all over the world and won every title imaginable including 16 World Heavyweight titles. He continues by saying that last week he passed the torch onto the next generation and that was to this man here the IWA world Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles.
Styles takes the mic and thanks Flair and continues with a loud Whoo! Styles said that he is the most electrifying, show stopping, high flying, limo riding SOB in the IWA and that last week he showed everyone that he was the man to beat in the IWA. A video of last weeks Battle Royal is shown highlighting AJ Styles and his eliminations. When it got to Kurt Angle Styles told them to pause the tape. Styles talks about Angle and the look on his face when he went over the rope.
This brought out Angle who came down to the ring. He tells Angle that if it wasn't for Flair there is a good chance He would be champion and Styles would be the odd man out. He continues by challenging Styles to a title match. This brought out Mr. Anderson who as always carries his own mic. He tells Angle with no disrespect intended that Angle was crazy. Anderson says that he would have won if it was not for Magnus. Jest then the music of Jeff hardy hits and he makes his way to the ring. He talks about being in the neighborhood and deciding to come by and see whats going on. He then said people said he was to small or to many other distractions to carry a promotion well he's here to prove them wrong and decided to put his name in the conversation. Flair grabs the mic and tells them all to shut up and that none of them are worthy to face Styles. That's when Hardy jumped on Styles, Anderson jumped on Flair, Angle jumped on Hardy. Just then out from the crowd Jack Swagger comes into the ring and attacks Angle. Flair was able to pull Styles out the ring and the two made a bee line backstage as security separated the 4 men in the ring.
(4) Mr. Anderson pinned Alex Riley with the Mic Check in 0:14:35. Rating: *** (Alberto Del Rio no-showed.)

- Backstage Jack swagger is asked why he jumped into the mess between Angle, Anderson and Hardy? Swagger responded by saying that he was tired of being compared to Angle. Angle was last year He was current. If anyone deserves a shot at the Heavyweight title it's the All American American.
