This was an idea that I had been running over in my head for some time. During my previous incarnation of the HWL, I had created a "developmental league" in the hopes of incorporating them with each other. I lost all of my card, etc., when my old computer crapped out on me. So, lo and behold, this is my in attempt at the D-League; and I'm using the simple TNM-RG rule set to assist me. I hope you all enjoy!

As if it wasn't enough to have Kurt Angle on the debut edition, the crowd in Evansville went insane as “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan was introduced as Kingston's opponent tonight. Looking to be in better shape than he had been in the past, Hogan was able to thwart the high-flying offense from Kingston, and connect with the Big Leg Drop to pick up the victory.

Jay Lethal pinned Homicide after a figure-four leglock in 0:04:18. Rating: * ½
Another HWL Superstar was in action tonight, as “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal stepped into the ring against Homicide, rekindling their many battles from their TNA days. Lethal locked on the figure-four in the center of the ring, and Homicide – after struggling to get to the ropes – appeared to lose consciousness, and with this shoulders on the canvas, was defeated by pinfall.
Daniel Bryan pinned Adam Cole after a small package in 0:14:21. Rating: **
This was a match-up of two evenly sized athletes, and both of them showcased their skills for the Evansville crowd tonight. Yet, it was Bryan who saw an opportunity as Cole attempted a Northern Lights suplex, to roll him up for the 1-2-3.

Tonight, it was Robert Roode's night to bleed as Beer Money, Inc. tried to get a bit of redemption after last week. The pressure was on as the PCW Tag Team Titles hung in the balance, but Kaval seemed to feel no extra burden as he was able to put both opponents away to give his team the victory, and become the first-ever PCW Tag Team Champions! After the match, Kaval and Corino celebrated in the center of the ring as a bloody Roode and Storm made their way backstage.

You could always play it off as the "big boys" visiting the developmental promotion. Although you'll probably use them regularly so it may not work well.

Yeah, I had thought about it. But, I think their contracts may be up shortly. So, it could work in the end... though, there's not really much storyline writing for this circuit. Just something fun to add to the main one.

No resolution came out of this week's tag team main event, as Jay Lethal will still be looking for retribution the next time he steps into the ring with either Homicide or the PCW Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan. After the match, as all four men were brawling in the ring, MATT MORGAN jumped out from the crowd, slid into the ring, and attacked Kurt Angle from behind! Blindsiding Angle allowed Homicide and Bryan to double up on Lethal, as Morgan focused on Angle. PCW officials rushed down to the ring, and after a few minutes were able to break up the assault.
