PCW Wrestling – December 4, 2012 – AMSOIL Arena – Duluth, MN Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 2,085
-Outside the arena, in the parking lot, Women’s Champion Natalya is seen walking towards the entrance, when she was approached by Brie Bella. Bella says it’s a shame that Natalya wasn’t at the show last night, seeing as how Natalya was the reason that Kelly Kelly was forced to retire. Natalya tried to speak but Brie said there’s nothing that can be said in defense of ending another athlete’s career. Brie said that she hoped Natalya could be a little safer when they meet up at End of the Line in 11 days because Brie would like to have a long fulfilling career in the business. Brie walked away, back into the arena, leaving Natalya stunned.
Commercial Break
Drew McIntyre defeated Jack Swagger by count out in 11:00. Rating: **
McIntyre kept his winning streak alive tonight, even though the method of his win was probably not the one he was hoping for. After picking up a huge victory over The Great Khali two weeks ago, McIntyre stepped in with Jack Swagger – who was looking to get back onto the right foot tonight. McIntyre looked to be on fire tonight, and maybe a little too much for Swagger to handle. After hitting his finishing maneuver, McIntyre went for the pinfall but only got a two-count. Clearly, this was enough for Swagger, who rolled out of the ring and walked up the ramp as the referee counted him out.
After the match, with McIntyre watching Swagger walk through the curtains, DAVID HART SMITH jumped over the barricade, slid into the ring, and attacked McIntyre from behind! He threw McIntyre into the turnbuckles before landing a series of hard stomps to McIntyre’s midsection. Smith then hoisted McIntyre up and hit a running powerslam in the center of the ring. Smith exited the ring to a roar of boos. The camera focused on McIntyre as the show went to commercials.
Commercial Break
-Returning from the break, Rex Butler made his way out to the ring. Butler said that he was going to change things up a little bit at End of the Line. He said, after a discussion with Peter Bradshaw, Butler had been allowed to try something out concerning the Tag Team Titles. So, what is going to take place at End of the Line will be the first-ever Tag Team Title Gauntlet Match. The Tag Team Champions, The Bravado Brothers, will defend the titles against two other teams. The team who wins the last match will be the new Tag Team Champions. Butler announces that the other two teams will be Kazarian and Luke Gallows and a team that will not be announced until the night of the show. Butler thanks everyone for their time before leaving the ring.
Erica pinned Nikki Bella after a kick to the head in 5:21. Rating: * ¾
Nikki Bella found herself back in the ring this week, trying to shake off the loss to her sister Brie last week. As of late, Nikki has been on a path of ‘doing the right thing’, which seems to be hindering her ability to win matches. Every new journey is sure to have its bumps along the way, and tonight Nikki hit another bump in newcomer Erica. In just her second match since debuting with the company, Erica picked up an impressive victory with a stiff kick to the head.
Commercial Break
-A preview for PCW’s next pay-per-view, End of the Line, is shown. The event will take place on December 15th, live from the McKenzie Arena in Chattanooga, TN!
-At ringside, Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield run down the events of last week’s main event that led to tonight’s tag team match.
Wade Barrett & James Storm defeated Kenny King & Bobby Roode when J. Storm pinned Roode with the Last Call in 9:12. Rating: *** ¼
With 11 days to go before these four men would step into the ring in their respective matches, Rex Butler made the decision to put them all in a tag team match here tonight, after the events that took place during last week’s show. Neither team was very willing to put in the teamwork needed – and it turned out to be a showcase of what the individuals could do. In the end, Storm and Roode found themselves in the ring with each other once again, and for the third time in as many tries, Storm connected with the Last Call to give his team the victory.

Luke Gallows pinned Drew McIntyre with the Gallows Pole in 8:41. Rating: * ½
Drew McIntyre has been on a roll as of late, picking up victory among a number of roster members of the past weeks. Tonight, however, McIntyre may have overlooked Luke Gallows – who was looking for some positive momentum heading into End of the Line. Gallows, who also hasn’t had the best luck in single’s competition lately, found a way to pull off what many would call an upset over McIntyre tonight. The loss stops McIntyre’s rise dead in its tracks, and springs new life into Gallows going forward.
-Backstage, Brooke Barlow asks Nikki Bella about her in-ring performance since joining the PCW roster. Nikki says that she’s be lying to everyone if she didn’t say that she’s been lackluster at best since joining the roster. She says she needs something to put her back on the right track, and that a victory over Bayley tonight might just be what she’s looking for.
Commercial Break
Nikki Bella defeated Bayley by DQ in 4:04. Rating: * ¼
Nikki Bella came into this match, looking to pick up her first victory since September – a non-title affair with then-champion Bayley. Three months later, with circumstances a little different, both women found themselves in the ring again, both looking to stop their losing skids. Bayley held her own throughout this match, and was on the brink of putting Nikki away on a few occasions; however, after a failed pin attempt the frustration must have gotten to a boiling point, and Bayley pushed down the referee before walking out of the ring, eating a DQ loss.
-Backstage, Brooke Barlow asks David Otunga how he and Chris Hero have been able to coexist as a team knowing that this Sunday night, they will face each other for the Television Title. Otunga says that he and Hero have no personal animosity toward each other. He respects Chris and what he’s been able to do as Television Champion; and says he’s worked his way up and earned the chance to challenge for the title. It just so happens that his tag team partner is the one holding it.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match The A-List Knockouts (Chris Hero & David Otunga) defeated © The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when Hero pinned Lance with the Hero’s Welcome in 8:10. Rating: ** ½
Six days away from having to defend the Tag Team Titles in a Gauntlet Match at End of the Line, The Bravados stepped into the ring with a team that has been dominate as of late, The A-List Knockouts. A lot of people questioned whether Hero and Otunga could co-exist tonight, knowing that they would be facing each other on Saturday night for the Television Title, but those questions were answered quickly, as there was no sign of dispute between the two. Hero connected with the Hero’s Welcome for the victory. After the match, two masked men jumped over the barricade and attacked Harlem and Lance. They laid out the Tag Team Champions before getting on the microphone and announcing that their identities would be revealed on Saturday night. The two men leave the ring as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Kazarian pinned The Great Khali with the Fade to Black in 5:06. Rating: ¾*
Kazarian was looking to match his partner’s success from earlier tonight by picking up a victory, but he had to deal with one of the two biggest men on the roster in The Great Khali. In a match where he was giving up size and strength in bunches, Kazarian was able to use his speed to keep Khali off his feet, eventually hitting the Fade to Black for a shocking win.
-Backstage, Bobby Roode tells Brooke Barlow that it was obvious Wade Barrett was the weak link of their team last week, and the reason they lost the match. Brooke reminds Roode that he was the one that was pinned in the match. Roode says that would have been different had he not been forced to do what Barrett wasn’t able. Roode promises to take it out on Barrett on Saturday night.
Commercial Break
Wade Barrett defeated The Big Show by DQ in 10:21. Rating: * [Bobby Roode interfered against Wade Barrett.]
It would appear that blaming Wade Barrett for their loss last week was not enough for Bobby Roode, who interrupted tonight’s main event by attacking Barrett from behind. Roode continued to work over Barrett but quickly rolled out of the ring as an upset Big Show headed his way. Roode and Barrett will meet up this Saturday night in what should be a very physical match-up.

Love these long running feds. Is this run unbooked? No, it's all booked. It started off as unbooked, but lately I've been using a rating/dice system to book results. Thanks for the read!

PCW: End of the Line – December 15, 2012 – McKenzie Arena, Chattanooga, TN Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 6,487
-Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the home of the UTC Chippewas and the final PCW pay-per-view of the year. Seven matches will take place tonight, including the first-ever Gauntlet Match for the Tag Team Titles, set up by Commissioner Rex Butler this past Tuesday night. Also, Kenny King gets his first chance at the Heavyweight Title, taking on James Storm.
Claudio Castagnoli pinned Cody Rhodes with the Ricola Bomb in 8:12. Rating: ** ¼
Tonight, in Chattanooga, we saw the returns of Cody Rhodes and former Heavyweight Champion “Double C” Claudio Castagnoli. The last time Castagnoli was seen on PCW television, he was vacating the title belt to focus more on his spot on the main roster. Will this be a one-night visit for Claudio, or will he stick around? Rhodes came into this match having battled some sort of personal issues, which have been pushed into the forefront over the past few weeks on HWL TV. Tonight, whether those issues were plaguing him or not, Rhodes fell victim to the Ricola Bomb in the opener.
-Backstage, Brooke Barlow asks Women’s Champion Natalya about the comments made by Brie Bella Tuesday night, and how Natalya feels after Kelly Kelly’s retirement two weeks ago. Natalya says that it’s a shame Kelly’s career got cut short – for whatever reason. She says it’s always hard to see a peer leave against their own wishes. But, Natalya says that Brie Bella went too far, blaming Natalya for ending Kelly’s career. She knows Brie is trying to play mind games, but the match will be won or lost inside those ropes.
An advertisement is shown for the next PCW special event – New Beginning – which will take place on January 12, 2013.
Women’s Title Match ©Natalya made Brie Bella submit to the Sharpshooter in 6:24. Rating: *** ¾ (Natalya retained the PCW Women’s Title.)
For a month now, Brie Bella has been on making a path back to the Women’s Title after failing to defeat Natalya at British Beatdown. Claiming that her loss was the fault of her sister Nikki, Brie put the blame on everyone she could except herself. When that didn’t work, Brie resorted to guilt, telling Natalya that she was the reason for Kelly Kelly’s retirement. All this seemed to do was fuel Natalya heading into tonight’s match, which she won after locking Brie in the Sharpshooter. How will Brie respond to tonight’s loss in up in the air.
-Backstage, Harlem and Lance Bravado are seen complaining about having to defend the Tag Team Titles in the first-ever Gauntlet Match. They say that Rex Butler has never really wanted them to be champions, and tonight is how he takes the belts off of them.
An advertisement is shown for the next PCW special event – New Beginning – which will take place on January 12, 2013.
Tag Team Title Match (Gauntlet Match #1) Kazarian & Luke Gallows defeated ©The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when Kaz pinned Lance with the Fade to Black in 10:18. Rating: ** ¼ (Kazarian & Luke Gallows won the PCW Tag Team Titles.)
After a month-long back-and-forth battle between these two teams, Kazarian and Gallows were finally able to pick up a victory over the Bravado Brothers, this time earning the Tag Team Titles for the first time. However, their celebration was cut short, as the two masked men that appeared on Tuesday night, came down to the ring. They stared across the ring at the new champions, refusing to take their masks off. The referee had no choice but to ring the bell…
Tag Team Title Match (Gauntlet Match #2) Two Masked Men defeated ©Kazarian & Luke Gallows when Masked Man #2 pinned Gallows after a spin kick in 4:21. Rating: ** (Two Masked Men won the PCW Tag Team Titles.)
Clearly, Kaz and Luke Gallows were winded from just competing in the previous match. Unfortunately, that is the nature of the Gauntlet Match. However, they were also caught off guard by not knowing who they were facing in this match. That make it much simpler for the two masked men to carry out what they wanted to do and pick up the Tag Team Titles. After being handed the titles, both men took off their masks, revealing themselves as JAY BRISCOE and THE ESPERANZA! Briscoe smirked at Kaz and Gallows before he and The Esperanza left the ring. Kaz and Gallows could just stand and stare as the new champs made their way up the ramp.
An advertisement is shown for the next PCW special event – New Beginning – which will take place on January 12, 2013.
Drew McIntyre pinned The Big Show with the Future Shock in 8:07. Rating: ** ¼
McIntyre – and the audience – was in for a surprise tonight as, instead of David Hart Smith coming out to the ring, The Big Show took the place as McIntyre’s opponent tonight. Yet, the surprising sight of a much larger opponent didn’t seem to phase the Irishman, who was able to pick up the victory after hitting the Future Shock. Even with the win tonight, there is still unfinished business between McIntyre and Smith. Time will tell if those questions get answered or not.
-Backstage, Television Champion Chris Hero tells Brooke Barlow that he and David Otunga have traveled up and down the roads together. They’ve been in some brutal matches. And, they’ve even stepped into the ring with each other a time or two. He says no one knows Otunga like he does; and no one knows him like Otunga does. Hero says that tonight, the best man will walk out of the ring as Television Champion.
An advertisement is shown for the next PCW special event – New Beginning – which will take place on January 12, 2013.
Television Title Match ©Chris Hero pinned David Otunga after using a foreign object in 12:15. Rating: ** ¾ (Chris Hero retained the PCW Television Title.)
Coming into this weekend, this match was one of the more anticipated matches on the card. As it was stated heading into tonight, Hero and Otunga knew each other better than anyone else on the roster. This was evident as both men had counters for each other’s attacks. Towards the end of the match, Otunga looked poised to win the title, having worn down the champion. But, no one expected what came next. Otunga had Hero backed up into the corner and was ready to suplex Hero, but the move was blocked. Hero fought out and pushed Otunga away. As Otunga came back, Hero decked him in the jaw before seemingly putting something back into his trunks. Hero made the cover as the crowd looked on in disbelief.
-Backstage, Heavyweight Champion James Storm is asked about Kenny King’s chances of winning the title tonight. Storm says that the question should be what his chances are of retaining the title, because they’re pretty damn high. Storm says he’s been in this position before, where King hasn’t. He says King is in a high-pressure situation, but anything is possible in this business. Storm says the title can only be won inside those ropes, so tonight, King will need to prove how badly he wants it.
Heavyweight Title Match ©James Storm pinned Kenny King after spitting beer into his face in 19:22. Rating: *** (James Storm retained the PCW Heavyweight Title.)
Earlier tonight, James Storm said that his chances of retaining the Heavyweight Title were “pretty damn high”. But, it’s safe to say that no one imagined that the match would end the way it did. King and Storm battled each other for nearly 20 minutes tonight, and throughout the match, it looked like King was going to pick up his first-ever Heavyweight Title win. However, for the first time since he became champion, Storm’s notorious bottle of beer that accompanies him to ringside, came into play. After thwarting Kings offense late in the match, Storm took a swig for the bottle – but instead of drinking it, Storm spat that alcohol into King’s eyes, before rolling him up for the 1-2-3.
The stunned crowd watched as Storm was handed his title belt before rolling out of the ring. Unlike his other post-match celebrations, Storm lowered his head and bee-lined it backstage as the announcers thanked everyone for tuning in.

PCW Wrestling – 12/18/12 – Oman Arena, Jackson, TN Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 3,976
-A highlight package from End of the Line is shown. A live shot from inside the arena follows, as Alfred Pressley welcomes everyone to the city of Jackson, Tennessee.
The introduction gets cut short as Television Champion Chris Hero’s music starts to play. Hero comes out to an ovation of boos, and he smirks while making his way to the ring. Inside the ring, Hero grabs a microphone as the boos get louder. He asks if the crowd is going to let him speak, and the arena shakes with jeers. Hero continues to speak, through the boos, saying that he has come out tonight to explain why he did what he did at End of the Line. Hero reminds everyone that he is the longest-reigning Television Champion in the history of the company – and that means something to him. Hero says he’s sorry for what happened to David Otunga on Saturday night, but keeping the title is more important than their friendship. Hero smirks as the boos get louder, before saying that anyone who knows what it’s like to be a champion would say the same exact thing. But, Hero says, he doesn’t have to explain himself to Otunga or anyone in the back.
This brings out Commissioner Rex Butler, who stands on-stage with a microphone of his own. Butler says that Hero doesn’t need to explain himself, but that he will find out who he’ll be defending the Television Title against at New Beginning very shortly. Butler announces that, starting tonight, a four-man tournament will be held to name a new challenger for Hero’s title. Butler announces Drew McIntyre, Harlem Bravado, The Big Show, and David Otunga as the four men competing in the tournament. Butler leaves the stage as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Lance Bravado defeated Luke Gallows by disqualification in 8:04. Rating: ¼*
The opening match saw two men who, as of late, have been struggling with trying to get away from the bottom rung of the ladder. Tonight, one of them would get a little closer to taking the much-needed step up, and it wasn’t who the crowd was expecting. Gallows came into the match with the obvious size and strength advantage, but Bravado showed a tenacity that hasn’t been seen from him lately. His quick offense was enough to drive Gallows out of the ring in frustration. When Bravado came out after him, Gallows cracked a steel chair over Bravado’s head, leading to a quick DQ. Bravado picked up the victory, but not in the way he was wanting, surely.
-Backstage, a determined-looking David Otunga is with Brooke Barlow. Otunga says that he’s not angry at what Chris Hero said earlier tonight; that the friendship was less important than the Television Title. He’s saddened by it. But, Otunga says, there’s only one thing that can be done about it – winning the tournament and getting another shot at someone he used to consider a friend. Now, Otunga says, Chris Hero is only the man holding what he wants – the Television Title.
Commercial Break
Television Title Tournament – Semi-Final The Big Show defeated Harlem Bravado by countout in 8:01. Rating: DUD
Tonight, Harlem Bravado was looking to get one step closer to the title that his brother has won twice before; but standing across the ring from him was a giant who was looking to get another shot at the man who defeated him two months ago at Britain Beatdown. The Big Show dominated this match, as the smaller Bravado couldn’t muster enough offense to wear the big man down. Show tossed Bravado outside the ring and manhandled him around the ringside area before clearing off the announcer’s table. Show chokeslammed Bravado through the table, leaving him in a heap on the concrete floor. Show re-entered the ring and demanded the referee count Bravado out, which is exactly what happened.
-After the match, The Big Show grabs a microphone while standing next to the rubble at ringside and says that what lays before everyone is a message. A message to Drew McIntyre, David Otunga, and especially, Chris Hero. A message that nothing is going to stand in The Big Show’s way of becoming the next Television Champion. For good mood measure, before leaving, Show grabs Bravado and chokeslams him onto the broken pieces of the announce table! Officials rush to separate Show, and he makes his way backstage, as Bravado is tended to.
Commercial Break
Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus defeated Oberhausen Terror Corps (Carnage & Bad Bones) when Sheamus pinned Carnage after a Broque Kick in 9:10. Rating: **
Tonight, saw the debut of four men who have been champions all around the world. Most noticeably was former WWE World Champion Sheamus, who picked up the victory for himself and partner Shinya Ishikawa, after a Broque Kick. The Oberhausen Terror Corp – from Germany – showed an impressive skill set tonight, and it’s clear that they could have a future in the Tag Team division in the PCW. All four of these men will be seen again someday soon.
-It is announced that, next wee, KENNY KING will make a statement about his match at End of the Line.
Commercial Break
-Returning from the break, Alisha Hicks is seen backstage with PCW Tag Team Champions JAY BRISCOE & THE ESPERANZA. Briscoe says that he knows everyone has been asking why he chose the man beside him to be his tag team partner. Briscoe introduces The Esperanza as a man who has been in the business for almost 30 years. Briscoe says that it took a lot of time to persuade Esperanza to come out of retirement, but he was the best possible partner Briscoe could find. Together, they’ve already proven their dominance in the tag division; and they are the new Tag Team Champions.
Television Title Tournament – Semi Final David Otunga pinned Drew McIntyre with The Verdict in 10:12. Rating: **
In tonight’s main event, Drew McIntyre – who has been on a well-earned run as of late in the PCW, stepped into the ring with David Otunga – a man who once considered TV Champion Chris Hero a friend. After the events that took place on Saturday night, Otunga had made his intentions clear of getting another chance at Chris Hero at New Beginning. Even though McIntyre put up as much of a fight as he could, it simply wasn’t even to overcome Otunga’s intention. Otunga hit The Verdict for the 1-2-3.

PCW Wrestling – 12/25/12 – Casper, Wyoming – Casper Events Center Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 4,365
A “Holiday Message” is played, in which wrestlers and on-air talent wish everyone a Merry Christmas. The video ends as the camera shows the outside of the Casper Events Center, on a very cold, but clear, evening. Inside the arena, Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the final show of 2012 and wish everyone “happy holidays”.
Kenny King’s music plays, breaking up the introduction. He makes his way into the ring, looking very pissed off. He grabs a microphone and paces around the ring before stopping to speak. King says that even though tonight is Christmas – and everyone is probably here with the family – he is out here having to come to terms with the fact that he lost at End of the Line. King says he has to understand that he wasn’t beaten by James Storm, just like Storm has to understand that he didn’t beat King. King says he knows there are kids and the audience tonight, but it does not bother him, before calling Storm a ”good ole boy”, which gets a lot of boos from the crowd. King says he’s coming after Storm’s title before things between them are far from over.
Commercial Break
Lance Bravado pinned Shinya Ishikawa after a headlock takedown in 6:10. Rating: * [Bad Bones interfered against Shinya Ishikawa.]
Lance Bravado picked up the victory tonight, thanks in part to a huge assist from BAD BONES, who came down to the ring and attacked Ishikawa from behind while the referee was not looking.
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is interviewing DAVID OTUNGA. Otunga says that a lot of people may be upset that Drew McIntyre decided to leave the company – for whatever reasons he may have had. Otunga says that it’s tough when someone leaves, but he says he takes a little pride in forcing McIntyre’s decision. If it weren’t for Otunga beating him last week, there’s no telling what the future would be like. Otunga says that it’s a trend he could get used to: watching the people he defeats, on his way to the Television Title, leaving the company after stepping into the ring with him. He says it would only be fitting, eventually, to walk around with the TV Title over his shoulder, knowing that neither The Big Show nor Chris Hero were around.
Commercial Break
Fatal Four-Way #1 Contenders Match Newling-sama defeated Bayley, Brie Bella and Nikki Bella after pinning Bayley with a kick to the head in 10:03. Rating: ¼* Before the match, Women’s Champion Natalya made her way to ringside, where she sat in on commentary during the match. In celebration of the holidays, Bayley and the Bellas came to the ring in provocative “Santa” outfits; Newling-sama, making her debut tonight, came out in normal wrestling gear, drawing boos from the crowd. Despite that, Newling-sama withstood the three other women, picking up the victory after pinning Bayley, to earn a shot at the Women’s Title at the January pay-per-view. After the match, Newling-sama and Natalya had a brief stare-down before Newling-sama left the ring.
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen interviewing BAD BONES and CARNAGE. She asks about their loss to Shiny Ishikawa and Sheamus last week, and about Bad Bones’ attack on Ishikawa earlier in the evening. Carnage says that it’s true they were beaten last week, but that they have learned from their mistakes and will not be losing to Ishikawa and Sheamus again. Brooke asks if they are calling for a rematch and Bad Bones says that he made it clear tonight, that The Terror Corps is not going away.
Commercial Break
Bad Bones pinned Rhett Titus with the Shadow Driver in 8:26. Rating: ** ¾
Bad Bones, who has been quite the figure throughout the evening, picked up an impressive victory over Rhett Titus tonight. After the match, SHINYA ISHKAWA and SHEAMUS ran down to the ring, attacking Bad Bones. Quickly, CARNAGE ran down to help his partner, and all four men started to brawl inside the ring. As officials rushed down to break apart the brawl, Commissioner Rex Butler appeared on-stage and announced that there would be a tag team rematch between both teams at New Beginnings.
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is with the Tag Team Champions Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza. Brooke asks how these two formed their unlikely partnership and were able to win the tag belts at End of the Line. Briscoe said that, for most of his career, he had been a tag team wrestler and had spent that time with his brother. When Mark went down, he had some other things come up that needed to be taken care of, but the thing he missed most was tag team wrestling. He says he scoured the globe, trying to find the person who would be the best fit for another run, and he came across The Esperanza. Briscoe said he had to talk The Esperanza into returning to the ring, but the promise of championship gold speaks volumes. He tells Brooke their partnership is based on success; and there aren’t two more successful men in PCW right now. Briscoe promises that The Esperanza will make an example out of Sheamus tonight.
Commercial Break
The Esperanza pinned Sheamus after a Big Boot in 10:12. Rating: **
Both big men showed a lot of skill in tonight’s main event. The Esperanza showed a little ring rust as he was in there without Briscoe, but whatever he was lacking from being away for a number of years was quickly overshadowed by BAD BONES and CARNAGE appearing on-stage, which distracted Sheamus. The distraction allowed The Esperanza to connect with a Big Boot once Sheamus turned around, picking up a tainted victory. After the match, Bad Bones and Carnage left the stage.

PCW Wrestling – January 1, 2013 – ShoWare Arena – Kent, WA Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 3,250
A video is shown of fireworks going off with the skyline of Seattle, Washington in the background. Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield wish everyone a Happy New Year and mention the firework display that went off in downtown Seattle after last night’s Anarchy. They mention that there will be fireworks tonight in Kent, as The Big Show faces David Otunga for a shot at the Television Championship at New Beginning.
Chris Hero comes out to the ring with the Television Championship over his shoulder. He says it’s funny that David Otunga is taking credit for Drew McIntyre leaving the company. Hero said that McIntyre hadn’t amounted to anything while he was on the roster and losing to a glorified lawyer was the final straw. Hero says that Otunga thinks he’s going to be the one that rids the PCW of Hero and take the Television Championship at New Beginning. He says that path couldn’t be easier as Otunga has to face The Big Show, who has turned into a shell of himself since he lost the Heavyweight Championship. Hero says that he’s already beaten both men, but it would be a better victory, in his mind, to beat Otunga one more time. Before Hero can continue, THE BIG SHOW attacks him from behind, hitting a chokeslam in the center of the ring! Show stand over Hero, talking trash, as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Justin Gabriel defeated Lance Bravado by DQ in 10:46. Rating: ** ¼
Justin Gabriel looked impressed in the first match of the New Year. But instead of picking up the victory due to his skills inside the ring, Bravado awarded him the match after hitting him with a steel chair outside the ring. Bravado threw the chair down in disgust and walked away from ringside as Gabriel slowly got to his feet.
Commercial Break
Backstage, Women’s Champion Natalya approaches Newling-sama and congratulates her on winning her debut last week. Natalya says she thinks they’re going to put on a great match at New Beginning. Newling-sama looks at Natalya, speechless, before pointing at the Women’s Championship and motioning around her waist. She pats Natalya on the shoulder and says “good luck” before walking away.
Sheamus pinned Jack Swagger with the High Cross in 15:25. Rating: ** ¼ [Carnage interfered against Sheamus.]
In the on-going battle of one-upping each other, Carnage and Bad Bones wasted no time in making their presence known at ringside tonight. Carnage broke up a pinfall attempt, but all it resulted in was he and Bad Bones getting banished from ringside. As they looked on, Sheamus used the High Cross to pick up the victory.
Commercial Break
Heavyweight Champion James Storm makes his way to the ring with a bottle of beer in his hand. He takes a drink and says that he’s a pissed off redneck with a score to settle, so if anyone tries to cut his microphone, they better be ready for an ass-kicking. Storm says that Kenny King must have some monster balls for coming out here and saying what he did last week. But he also says that King is a dumb son of a bitch for thinking that he wouldn’t get a response for what he said. Storm says he doesn’t care if King comes to the ring or stays backstage, as long as he’s listening. He says that things are far from over between them only because King wants one more round with the Heavyweight Champion. Storm says Kings is seems happy to come out and run his mouth about how their match ended at End of the Line and says that he’s more than happy to shut King’s mouth at New Beginning. Storm says that he’ll even let King pick what kind of match he wants. That way, when King gets his ass kicked, he’s only got himself to blame. Storm says King just ran out of luck and doesn’t give a damn if he likes it or not.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match © Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza defeated Oberhausen Terror Corps (Carnage & Bad Bones) by DQ in 12:48. Rating: *** [Shinya Ishikawa interfered against Carnage.]
The Tag Team Champions were in action tonight, taking on the new team from Germany who has caused quite a stir as far as it comes to Sheamus and Shinya Ishikawa. The Terror Corps took the fight to the champions but got sidetracked as Ishikawa came down to ringside. Ishikawa tried sliding a title belt to The Esperanza, but it was stopped by Carnage. Carnage takes the belt and swings it at The Esperanza, who ducks, and the belt connects with the referee! All four men begin to brawl inside the ring until the referee calls for the bell. Officials rush down to the ring, breaking all four men apart…
As the scene calms down inside the ring, LUKE GALLOWS appears on-stage and announces to Briscoe and The Esperanza that he is enacting his rematch clause at New Beginning. Gallows says he and his partner will be ready to go next Sunday. Gallows leaves as the show goes to commercials.

Number One Contenders Match The Big Show pinned David Otunga after an inverted power bomb in 9:27. Rating: *
In tonight’s finale for the four-man tournament to determine the challenger for Chris Hero at New Beginning, The Big Show picked up the victory over David Otunga using a unique inverted power bomb, slamming Otunga down on his chest and face! After the match, as The Big Show celebrated inside the ring, CHRIS HERO slid into the ring and smashed the Television Championship into the back of Show’s head! With Show wobbling, Hero ran into the ropes and connected with a running elbow, sending Show to the ground. Hero left the ring and held up his title belt to a chorus of boos, as the show went off the air.

PCW Wrestling – January 8, 2013 – Santander Arena (Reading, PA) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 2,833
Kenny King starts off the show by coming down to the ring, dressed like a cowboy, getting a mixed reaction from the crowd. King mocks James Storm, calling himself a drunk redneck whose favorite things are fighting and drinking. King says that Storm came out last week, trying to look like a man that needs to be feared, but instead he came out looking like a joke. King says Storm came out and threatened him, saying his luck would run out on Saturday night. But King tells Storm that he’s the one that needed luck – in the form of a bottle – to keep that belt around his waist. He also says that Storm truly is as dumb as he sounds, giving King the choice to choose the match in which he wins the Heavyweight Title. King says he’s been thinking about it all week long, and the only way to make this match mean anything is to try a strap around each other’s wrist and beating the hell out of each other! King says they’d see whose luck runs out on Saturday night.
Commercial Break
Justin Gabriel pinned Carnage after the Discus Punch in 11:57. Rating: **** ¼
Gabriel picks up his second straight win, after enduring an onslaught by Carnage, including being put into the Ankle Lock for nearly a minute! In the end, on an injured ankle, Gabriel managed enough power to land a Discus Punch for the 1-2-3.

Backstage, Brooke Barlow asks Women’s Champion Natalya about the confrontation she had with Newling-sama last week. Natalya gives credit to the newcomer for her impressive victory two weeks ago, but says she thinks the magnitude of the situation has gone to her head. Natalya calls Newling-sama a cocky little girl and hopes that she rethinks that ego when she’s tapping out to the Sharpshooter on Saturday night.
Newling-sama pinned Nikki Bella with the Magistral Cradle in 15:25. Rating: ¾*
Newling-sama picked up a much-needed victory, over the former Women’s Champion, keeping momentum as she heads into New Beginning to challenge Natalya for the title on Saturday night.
Commercial Break
Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus defeated The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when Sheamus pinned Harlem after a powerslam in 8:34. Rating: ½*
For the first time in the last few weeks, Ishikawa and Sheamus did not need to worry about interference from the Oberhausen Terror Corps, who seemed content with staying backstage. This allowed the two bigger men to use their size and strength to overpower the Bravados. Sheamus hit Harlem with a powerslam for the easy victory.
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with Luke Gallows. Gallows says that it’s been a difficult last few weeks for him. First, he and Kaz lost the Tag Team Titles to end 2012. Then Kaz left – for reasons that Gallows still doesn’t know – leaving him to fend for himself when it came to regaining those titles. Gallows says that he has found a new partner before introducing Gabriel Fuerza. Gallows says that he and Fuerza were coming after Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza and would meet them at New Beginning.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, THE BIG SHOW makes his way to the ring. He says that he’s been overlooked ever since he lost the Heavyweight Championship last year. Show reminds everyone that he is still the Largest Professional Athlete in the world. He says, last week, the only thing Chris Hero did by attacking him was making Show nothing more than a pissed off giant with a goal. He says that he and Hero were in the ring before, back in November, and Hero somehow got the better of him. Show says he may have lost that match, but he learned a lot about what Hero does in the ring. Show promises, on Saturday, to knock out Hero and become the new Television Champion.
Commercial Break
Jack Swagger vs. David Otunga A week after losing out to The Big Show in his bid to challenge for the Television Championship, David Otunga was back in the ring, this time against the “All-American American” Jack Swagger. Swagger was looking to pick up a much-needed victory but was finding it difficult to put Otunga away. Otunga’s fortitude ultimately got the better of Swagger’s anger, which caused Swagger to attack Otunga with the American flag at ringside. This prompted the referee to call for the DQ and award the match to Otunga. After the match, Swagger threw the flag onto the canvas and left the ring as the referee checked on Otunga.
David Otunga defeated Jack Swagger by DQ in 10:03. Rating: ** ¼
Commercial Break
Retuning from the break, Alfred Pressley announces that The Oberhausen Terror Corps versus Shinya Ishikawa and Sheamus has been added to this Saturday’s New Beginning event.
Bad Bones vs. Wade Barrett There was a European flare to this week’s main event, as Germany and the United Kingdom squared off. It was announced before the match that Bad Bones and Carnage would be in action on Saturday night, hopefully putting an end to their on-going feud with newcomers Shinya Ishikawa and Sheamus. But tonight, he had to get past Wade Barrett, who had not been seen a whole lot since taking on Bobby Roode for the Heavyweight Championship. Both men put on quite the match; and with no interference, they found themselves doing battle outside the ring. Unbeknownst, to them, the referee’s count reached 10 and both men were counted out.
Bad Bones and Wade Barrett battled to a double countout in 15:13. Rating: *

PCW: New Beginning – January 12, 2013 – War Memorial Arena (Syracuse, NY) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 2,400
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Syracuse, New York, for the first pay-per-view event of 2013. They run down the matches on the card and discuss the main event Strap Match for the Heavyweight Championship between Kenny King and James Storm.
Justin Gabriel vs. Cody Rhodes As of late, Justin Gabriel has been working his way up the ladder, in the hopes of challenging for the Television Title down the line. After Tuesday’s program went off the air, Cody Rhodes approached General Manager Rex Butler after facing Gabriel in preparation for his match against Eddie Edwards tomorrow night. Butler signed the match, thinking that it would be a good test for both men and a great way to start off tonight’s event. But it was obvious from the start, that something wasn’t right with Rhodes. Gabriel was making it hard for Rhodes to get any advantage during the match, and Rhodes seemed to be working with a short fuse. After not getting a three-count, Rhodes attacked the referee, throwing him into the ring post! Rhodes grabbed a chair and attacked Gabriel with it. The referee called for the bell, and PCW officials rushed to the ring, pulling Rhodes off of Gabriel. Rhodes was escorted to the back, as Gabriel was attended to.
Justin Gabriel defeated Cody Rhodes by DQ in 10:08. Rating: *** ¼
In a pre-recorded video, Brooke Barlow interviews Newling-sama, moments before her title match against Natalya. Brooke says that Newling-sama has had nothing but success since joining the PCW and asks if she thinks that success will continue tonight. Newling-sama looks at Brooke and says nothing for a moment. Finally, in broken English, she tells Brooke that she will be the new Women’s Champion.
Live, backstage, Luke Gallows is seen with his partner Gabriel Fuerza. Fuerza looks nervous, trying to loosen up, but Gallows tells him there’s nothing to worry about. Gallows says to not worry about the pressure of tonight being Fuerza’s first match or the fact that it’s for the Tag Team Titles. Fuerza stops moving his arms and looks at Gallows, who smiles and slaps Fuerza on the back before leaving the locker room.
Women’s Championship Match Newling-sama vs. © Natalya Since debuting with the PCW towards the end of 2012, Newling-sama has taken the Women’s Division by storm. Earning a shot at the Women’s Championship on her first night with the company skyrocketed her potential. But potential will only get you so far, and the newcomer would have to prove herself against Natalya inside the ring. A victory would go a long way in continuing her rise, and she looked well on her way, as her unorthodox style was one Natalya is not familiar with. However, the second-generation member of the Hart family quickly recovered and took control of the match. In her own unorthodox fashion, instead of going for the Sharpshooter, Natalya connected with a front-layout suplex to retain the title.
[Women’s Championship Match]: Natalya pinned Newling-sama after a front-layout suplex in 6:12. Rating: -1/4* (Natalya retained the Women’s Championship.)
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with the Tag Team Champions, Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza. Brooke asks how they feel going into tonight’s title defense against Luke Gallows and Gabriel Fuerza. Briscoe says that Gallows is a big man, but they’re not worried about him. Then he promises to give Gabriel Fuerza a welcoming gift he’ll never forget.
Tag Team Championship Match Luke Gallows & Gabriel Fuerza vs. © Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza Last month, the PCW was introduced to two masked men, who quickly made a name for themselves by winning the Tag Team Titles at End of the Line. It was later revealed that Briscoe and The Esperanza were under those masks, and that they intended on holding onto those titles for some time. After winning and losing the titles on the same night, Luke Gallows found himself in a situation where he needed a partner in order to challenge for the belts he only had a taste of. Tonight, Gabriel Fuerza made his wrestling debut and looked very impressive inside the ring. However, after chop-blocking Gallows’ leg, Briscoe and The Esperanza double-teamed Fuerza outside the ring, drawing the attention of the referee. This allowed The Esperanza to grab a title belt and smash it against Gallows’ head before pinning him to retain the titles.
[Tag Team Championship Match]: Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza defeated Luke Gallows & Gabriel Fuerza when Esperana pinned Gallows after hitting him with a title belt in 10:12. Rating: * ½ (Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza retained the Tag Team Championships.)
In a pre-recorded interview, CHRIS HERO says that The Big Show thinks he should be worried because he’s pissed off. Hero says that The Big Show could barely get the job done against David Otunga in order to earn this title shot. Hero says he’s already beaten The Big Show once before, so there’s no need for him to be worried about him tonight. Hero says it doesn’t matter who he’s in the ring with, the Television Title is staying with him.
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with JAMES STORM, who is drinking from a bottle of beer. Brooke asks Storm about tonight’s Strap Match and how he feels about letting Kenny King pick the match. Storm says it didn’t really matter what type of match King picked because he knows King is pissed off and wants a fight. Storm says that he’s never one to back down from a fight, especially if someone’s coming after his Heavyweight Title. He says that he’ll go out there tonight, beat King at his own game, and walk out with the Heavyweight Title around his waist. Storm says that King’s damn luck runs out tonight.
Television Championship Match The Big Show vs. © Chris Hero A month after turning his back on his friend and teammate, David Otunga, Chris Hero had been a thorn in the side of both Otunga and The Big Show as they battled to see who would be challenging for the TV Title. The Big Show won the chance and was ready to avenge his loss to Hero back in November. Hero resorted to playing mind games with The Big Show, hoping to lessen the giant’s chances. Despite Hero’s attacks, The Big Show came prepared and looked poised to become TV Champion. But, after hitting a chokeslam and only getting a two count, it appeared the wind was going out of The Big Show’s sails. Frustrated with not being able to put Hero away, The Big Show started arguing with the referee as Hero slipped under the bottom rope. When Show followed, Hero pulled a pair of brass knuckles from his trunks and connected with The Big Show’s jaw, staggering the big man. Hero rolled Show back into the ring and made the pinfall, stealing another victory.
[Television Championship Match]: Chris Hero defeated The Big Show by pinfall in 10:31. Rating: * ½ (Chris Hero retained the Television Championship.)
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with CARNAGE and BAD BONES. With thick German accents, they tell Brooke that they haven’t had the type of success they were hoping for since arriving in the US and the PCW. They say that they have been fighting with Ishikawa and Sheamus since Day One and that tonight they will turn their fortunes around.
In a pre-recorded video, KENNY KING says that a lot of people have told him he’s crazy for challenging James Storm in a Strap Match tonight. King says he appreciates what his friends and family have told him, but he didn’t get to where he is by listening to others. King says he wasn’t going to be held back by what others thought he couldn’t do; by a tag team partner that couldn’t hold his own weight; and certainly not by some beer-swilling Tennessee Cowboy. Storm might have a history of drunken bar fights on a Friday night, but King says that he grew up fighting on the street. That’s what tonight is going to be – a fight. King asks Storm if he feels lucky before walking off-screen.
Oberhausen Terror Corps vs. Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus Since arriving on the scene in PCW, these four men have wrecked havoc on each other. The German duo, Carnage and Bad Bones, seemingly made it their mission to enact some semblance of payback after coming up short in their first bid to defeat Ishikawa and Sheamus in their debut match. Ishikawa and Sheamus certainly weren’t shy about giving back what was given to them, and would routine interfere in the Terror Corps’ matches over the following weeks. It culminated with the rematch tonight, but it looked as the Terror Corps were out of their element, as they took swings at crowd members more than once during the match. Their unreadiness for this match proved finite as Sheamus hit the High Cross on Carnage to pick up the victory.
Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus defeated Oberhausen Terror Corps (Carnage & Bad Bones) when Sheamus pinned Carnage with the High Cross in 12:04. Rating: ** ½
A preview for the next PCW pay-per-view – FULL THROTTLE – is shown. Full Throttle will be LIVE, February 10th, from Grand Rapids, MI!
Strap Match for Heavyweight Championship Kenny King vs. © James Storm Last month, James Storm retained the Heavyweight Championship by some nefarious means, and Kenny King made sure everyone knew about it. Over the next few weeks, the ensuing war of words between these two raised a lot of eyebrows of fans and non-fans alike and came to a head with Storm allowing King to decide the stipulation for tonight’s title match. The Strap Match was picked, since King felt it was the only match he’d have a fair shot in. Tonight, two men from two different “worlds”, were tied together for nearly 20 minutes, vying to see who wanted the Heavyweight Title bad enough. King played the spoiler on a number of occasions, using the strap to pulled Storm out of the ring as he tried to touch the turnbuckles. Storm would use the strap to clothesline King during his attempts at reaching the corners. Towards the end, both men found themselves outside the ring, trying to use the strap to their advantage. As both men were pulling, Storm let go of his end, and King smashed the back of his head on the concrete! Storm then ran King into the steel ring steps before rolling him inside the ring. Storm whipped King into the ropes, connecting with a spear, before dragging him to all four corners to pick up the win.
[Heavyweight Championship, Strap Match]: James Storm defeated Kenny King in 18:08. Rating: *** ¼ (James Storm retained the Heavyweight Championship.)

PCW Wrestling – January 15, 2013 – Glens Falls Civic Center (Glens Falls, NY) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 2,499
Highlights from New Beginning are shown. Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Glens Falls. James Storm’s music begins to play as the Heavyweight Champion makes his way to the ring. Inside the ring, Storm says that last night was certainly a test for him. Although it was a test that he passed, Storm says it was one of the hardest matches he’s had since winning the Heavyweight Championship. Storm gives credit to Kenny King for stepping up his game but says that King’s luck ran out on Saturday night. Storm says he’s not out here to gloat because he knows there’s a huge target on his back, and everyone in the locker room has a shot. He announces that, if anyone in the back wants to test their luck against at him Full Throttle, he is issuing an open challenge for the entire locker room. Storm leaves the ring as the announcers start to speculate who will take him up on his offer.

Justin Gabriel vs. Bad Bones Justin Gabriel was looking to continue his three-match winning streak tonight, after picking up a win over Cody Rhodes Saturday night at New Beginning. Bad Bones was coming off a tag team loss at the pay-per-view, and looking to not fall victim to Gabriel, as his partner Carnage did a couple weeks ago. Gabriel looked impressive from the early going, and the announcers talked about how his streak was making him look like a viable challenger for the Television Title. However, whatever momentum Gabriel had was lost as CARNAGE appeared at ringside. The distraction was enough to give Bad Bones the advantage, as he hit the Spin Doctor for the 1-2-3.
Bad Bones pinned Justin Gabriel after the Spin Doctor in 10:04. Rating: *** [Carnage interfered against Justin Gabriel.]
In a pre-recorded interview, Brooke Barlow is seen with Brie Bella. Brie says that things have a way of coming back around if you wait long enough. She says she’s been waiting for too long, but now it’s finally her chance to step back into the ring with Natalya for the Women’s Championship. Brie challenges Natalya to a match at Full Throttle and promises that she will come out on top.
Bayley vs. Brie Bella After her pre-match comments and challenge to Natalya, Brie Bella came out to the ring and showed that she was willing to back up what she said. Unfortunately, for Bayley, she was on the receiving end of Brie’s message. The young upstart has had some success since debuting – even winning the Women’s Championship over the summer. But, ever since losing the title back to a returning Beth Phoenix, Bayley has been the short end of the stick more times than not. Give her credit though, she’s a fighter. And she didn’t back down from Brie in this match. But she just didn’t have enough to overcome Brie’s wanton need to get ready for a title rematch at Full Throttle.
Brie Bella defeated Bayley after a forearm smash in 8:42. Rating: *
Commercial Break
Backstage, Luke Gallows and Gabriel Fuerza are seen backstage with Brooke Barlow. Gallows said that Saturday night was nothing but a disappointment. He doesn’t blame either Fuerza or himself but says that tonight is the best time to get back on track. Fuerza says he and Gallows will only get stronger as a team and get back into the title hunt soon.
Luke Gallows & Gabriel Fuerza vs. Harlem & Lance Bravado Just days after coming up short in his bid to regain the Tag Team Titles – with a new partner at his side – Luke Gallows was looking to make good on the promise he stated before this match began. Along with Gabriel Fuerza, Gallows stepped into the ring with The Bravado Brothers, who were also looking to pick up a victory after being defeated by Shinya Ishikawa and Sheamus last week. With both teams looking to get back on the winning track, it was a matter of which team would take advantage of the others’ mistakes. Unfortunately, that decision was made by Harlem Bravado who, frustrated with Fuerza’s lucha libre style, was caught connecting with a low blow by the referee. After the bell rang, Gallows entered the ring to protect his partner as the Bravados left the ring in disgust.
Gabriel Fuerza & Luke Gallows defeated The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when G. Fuerza defeated Harlem by DQ in 9:09. Rating: *

Returning from the break, Television Champion Chris Hero makes his way down to the ring. Hero says that he is, without question, the best wrestler on the PCW roster. Whether you agree with his actions as of late or not, he says that no one can deny that being TV Champion since last July is no small feat. Hero says that he’s not a man of many words, since he lets his actions speak for him in the ring, but tonight he felt the need to be the first to speak up. Last week, James Storm came out and issued and open challenge for Full Throttle. So, tonight, Hero says that he is out here to accept Storm’s challenge and promises to become the new Heavyweight Champion.
Commercial Break
Jack Swagger vs. The Big Show Saturday night, The Big Show had his chance to win the Television Title from Chris Hero. However, the giant fell victim to an under-handed tactic by the champion, as Hero used brass knuckles to pick up the victory. Tonight, Show was looking to rebound against Jack Swagger, who himself, was coming off a match last week where he got himself DQ’d for using the American flag as a weapon. Even though it was at ringside this week, the flag did not play a part in this match, as both men struggled to gain any advantage over the other, eventually spilling out to the concrete floor. That is where things would end, as the referee counted both men out.
The Big Show and Jack Swagger battled to a double countout in 13:42. Rating: ¾*
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, the Tag Team Champions – Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza – are seen with Brooke Barlow backstage. Briscoe says that every one of the PCW fans should know that they are the best tag team in the company right now. Not only because they are currently the Tag Team Champions, but because they are head and shoulders above everyone else when it comes to what they can do inside the ring. Briscoe says that the idiots out there that don’t realize that never will. He says that it’ll be a long time before any one in the tag team division takes their titles.
Sheamus vs. Wade Barrett Sheamus and Shinya Ishikawa were successful in their match against the Oberhausen Terror Corp over the weekend, giving them much-needed traction in the Tag Team division. Tonight, Sheamus took on Wade Barrett, who hasn’t been seen in a PCW ring in some time. Barrett was hoping to knock off some ring rust tonight, but it appeared that Sheamus was not the right opponent for that. Sheamus picked up the victory after hitting the High Cross for the 1-2-3.
Sheamus pinned Wade Barrett with the High Cross in 10:00. Rating: * ¾

A commercial for FULL THROTTLE is shown. The event will take place, live, from Grand Rapids, Michigan on February 9th!
Claudio Castagnoli vs. The Esperanza Last month, Claudio Castagnoli returned to the PCW, defeating Cody Rhodes at the End of the Line pay-per-view. Tonight, was the first time Castagnoli has entered the ring since that night, and he found himself taking on one-half of the Tag Team Champions. Castagnoli, known as being one of the strongest athletes in wrestling, showed his strength during the match, but it wasn’t enough to put the champion away. Castagnoli’s frustration got the better of him, as he pushed down the referee for what he thought was a slow count. This allowed The Esperanza to roll outside the ring and grab his title belt. Feigning weakness by the apron, The Esperanza connected with the belt as Castagnoli tried to bring him back into the ring. Just as the referee was coming to, The Esperanza covered Castagnoli for the 1-2-3.

PCW Wrestling – January 22, 2013 - Ginasio Municipal Tancredo Neve (Talchuano, Chile) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 2,400
A clip of Chris Hero accepting James Storm’s open invitation for a title match at Full Throttle is shown, with the added stipulation that both title belts will be on the line. The clip ends as a outside shot of the arena is shown. Alfred Pressley welcomes everyone to lovely South America, and his joined by James Westerfield.
James Storm’s music begins to play as he walks to the ring, drinking from a bottle of beer, wearing the Heavyweight Title around his waist. Inside the ring, Storm says that it’s an honor to be in Chile, and he couldn’t think of a better way to start things off, then to come out and talk about Chris Hero. Storm says that Hero manned up and accepted his open challenge last week. But he had to tweak it a little. Storm says that he’s fine with Hero putting his neck – and Television Title – on the line because, at Full Throttle, Hero’s damn luck is going to run out.
Storm is interrupted as the Tag Team Champions, JAY BRISCOE and THE ESPERANZA come on-stage. Briscoe says that he’s cutting Storm off before he repeats the same, dated lines he’s always said. Briscoe tells Storm that he’ll have his time to say whatever he wants to Chris Hero, but it’s not going to be tonight. Briscoe says, instead of Storm being worried about Chris Hero at Full Throttle, he should be worried about The Esperanza later tonight. Storm tells Briscoe that he doesn’t worry about a damn thing because he’s been in enough fights to know how to take an ass-kicking. But, he tells Briscoe to translate to The Esperanza that tonight, he’s sorry about his damn luck, too because it’s about to run out.
Commercial Break
Bad Bones vs. David Otunga Last week, Bad Bones was able to put an end to Justin Gabriel’s three-week winning streak, albeit with some help from his tag team partner, Carnage. Nonetheless, Bad Bones was looking to get his own streak started against David Otunga, who was coming off a victory two weeks ago. Otunga didn’t look at strong as he did in his last outing, as Bad Bones dominated most of the match – even without outside interference – eventually hitting the Shadow Driver for the 1-2-3.
Bad Bones pinned David Otunga with the Shadow Driver in 10:15. Rating: N/A
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen with BAYLEY. Bayley says that, after her loss last week, she found herself doing a lot of thinking. She says she’s only been in this business for a short time but coming out to the ring every time she had the chance only to lose was taking its toll on her. She said she started to wonder if she was cut out to be a wrestler. But then she remembered the night she won the Women’s Title in front of her friends and family, and how great that felt. Bayley says that was the moment she knew her decision was made. She tells Brooke that, no matter how long it takes, she’s going to be Women’s Champion once again.
Nikki Bella vs. Brie Bella Before the match got started, NATALYA came down to the ring, joining the broadcast team. She placed the Women’s Title on the table in front of her and said, without hesitation, that she was going to accept Brie’s challenge and defend the title at Full Throttle. When Brie made her way to the ring, she stopped in front of the broadcast table and shared words with Natalya before entering the ring. This would be a common theme throughout the match as, whenever Brie had some breathing room, she would toss insults towards the Women’s Champion. Having enough of Brie’s antics, Natalya took her headset off and stood up behind the booth. This prompted Brie to leave the ring and the two women shared more words, which ended when Brie slapped Natalya across the face! Enraged, Natalya grabbed Brie as she re-entered the ring, and the two women began brawling at ringside. The referee had no option but to disqualify Nikki and award the match to Brie. Afterwards, HWL officials rushed to the ring and separated the two women.
Brie Bella defeated Nikki Bella by DQ in 8:05. Rating: ¾* [Natalya interfered against Brie Bella.]

Luke Gallows & Gabriel Fuerza vs. Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus Gallows and Fuerza are still trying to get into the groove as a team since the newcomer’s arrival. They scored a big victory last week against former Tag Team Champions. Tonight, their opponents were two men that have been on a hot streak since joining the PCW. A hard fought match for Gallows and Fuerza was ultimately undone by a rookie mistake, which led to Ishikawa hitting Fuerza with the Roaring Elbow for the victory.
Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus defeated Gabriel Fuerza & Luke Gallows when S. Ishikawa pinned Fuerza with the Roaring Elbow in 18:32. Rating: ¾*
After the match, Sheamus gets a microphone and issues a challenge to Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza for the Tag Team Titles at Full Throttle. He says they’ve dominated every other team in the PCW, and now it’s time to take the gold to prove it. He and Ishikawa leave the ring as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Commissioner Rex Butler announces that, due to the result of their match last week, Jack Swagger will face The Big Show in a Falls-Count-Anywhere Match at Full Throttle.
Carnage vs. The Big Show Just minutes after hearing the announcement that he would be facing Jack Swagger at Full Throttle The Big Show came out to the ring and wasted no time sending a message. Unfortunately, Carnage was the recipient of that message, as he got clocked by a right hook from The Big Show, knocking him out on the concrete floor. The Big Show rolled Carnage back into the ring, making the pinfall, before saying that Swagger won’t be so lucky next time.

Returning from the break, PCW Tag Team Champion Jay Briscoe makes his way out to the ring. Briscoe says that he’s scheduled to have a match tonight, but there’s he doesn’t have an opponent. He says that no one in their right mnd would come out here and face him. But he wants a fight and he isn’t leaving the ring until he gets one. Briscoe says he’ll find anyone in the back, if the have the guts to come out here and face him. After waiting for a few minutes, four-time PCW Heavyweight Champion DANIEL BRYAN makes his way on-stage in full ring gear.
Daniel Bryan vs. Jay Briscoe The crowd was still coming down from their shock as Bryan joined Briscoe in the ring. A referee ran down from the back, and as soon as he called for the bell, Briscoe jumped Bryan from behind. Bryan, one of the original members of the PCW roster, fought back and had Briscoe locked in an armbar submission before he was able to reach the ropes. Briscoe looked like he had finally met his match, until THE ESPERANZA made his way to ringside. He stood calmly near the apron, waiting for his chance to strike. And, when it came, The Esperanza cracked his tag team title belt over the head of Bryan. Briscoe took advantage, hitting a Frankensteiner for the 1-2-3. After the match, Briscoe escaped the ring, and celebrated with his partner, having stolen the match from the former champion.
Jay Briscoe pinned Daniel Bryan after a Frankensteiner in 5:05. Rating: *** ¼ [The Esperanza interfered against Daniel Bryan.]

Non-Title Match The Esperanza vs. © James Storm At the start of the show, The Esperanza and Jay Briscoe interrupted Storm’s comments on Chris Hero, setting the tone for tonight’s main event. Briscoe made a point to accompany his partner to the ring in an attempt to intimidate the Heavyweight Champion. Briscoe’s appearance at ringside seemed not to phase Storm, who was able to focus on the task at hand. That is, until CHRIS HERO ran down to the ring started taunting Storm. Hero’s presence took Storm’s attention off of The Esperanza, which was all he needed to take over the match. However, The Esperanza was not able to put Storm away. Storm was able to fight back, even hitting the Last Call. As Storm made the cover, Hero entered the ring and attacked the champion from behind. After the match, Hero assaulted Storm before PCW officials rushed down to the ring. Hero was escorted out of the ring, leaving Storm laying on the canvas, as the show goes off the air.
[Non-Title Match]: James Storm defeated The Esperanza by DQ in 13:07. Rating: *** ¾ [Chris Hero interfered against James Storm.]

PCW Wrestling – January 29, 2013 - Ginasio Multidisciplinar (Campinas, Brazil) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 4,100
A video of Daniel Bryan’s return to the HWL – and his loss to Jay Briscoe – is shown. As the camera shows inside the gymnasium, Briscoe’s music begins to play. He appears on-stage in street clothes, the HWL Tag Team Title hanging over his shoulder. He makes his way to the ring and shakes his head at the crowd booing him. He says he found it funny when everyone lost their mind because Daniel Bryan returned, only to watch him beat Bryan in the center of the ring. He says that he’s going to do the same thing to James Storm tonight. Before he can continue, CHRIS HERO makes his way to the ring, choosing to stand outside. Hero says he find it’s funny that Briscoe comes out here and wants people to believe he beat Bryan by himself. Everyone knows that the dude from Japan is never too far away when Briscoe’s out here. So, Hero says, tonight he’s going to be out here to make sure everything goes the way it’s supposed to. Hero drops the microphone on the apron and walks away as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, CHRIS HERO is seen walking through the backstage area when he is stopped by JAMES STORM. Storm says he doesn’t need Hero’s help and that he doesn’t want to see Hero out there tonight. Hero says he’s not helping Storm, just making sure that if anything bad happens to him, Hero’s the one who does it like he did last week. Hero gently smacks Storm on the cheek before walking away chuckling.
Bad Bones vs. Sheamus Bad Bones found himself with a two-match winning streak heading into tonight’s match with the “Irish Brute” Sheamus. Sheamus was looking to pick up a victory heading into Saturday night, when he and Shinya Ishikawa get a shot at the Tag Team Titles. These two men are no strangers to each other, having had a nice little feud that everyone assumed came to an end earlier this match. However, things went sideways for Sheamus as CARNAGE came down to the ring. Carnage got involved in the match, tripping Sheamus, which led to Bad Bones hitting a swinging Soviet suplex for the 1-2-3. After the match, The Oberhausen Terror Corps left the ring to a chorus of boos.
Bad Bones pinned Sheamus after a swinging Soviet suplex in 8:08. Rating: *** ¼ [Carnage interfered against Sheamus.]
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow asks Women’s Champion NATALYA why she got involved in Brie Bella’s match last week. Natalya tells Brooke that she is a woman with a backbone. She was raised by a family that stood up for themselves, and that’s exactly what she did last week. Brie had her sister to contend with but, instead, decided to make a statement by smacking Natalya while she was at ringside. So, Natalya says she made a statement of her own. But Natalya promises that Brie won’t like the next time Natalya gets her hands on Brie.
Newling-sama vs. Brie Bella A week after getting into a physical altercation with the Women’s Champion, Brie Bella stepped into the ring this week against a newcomer who has shown promise since arriving on the scene. Newling has earned the reputation as someone who isn’t going to back down from a fight, as she earned a Women’s Title shot on her debut night in the PCW. Tonight, she showed no signs of giving up against Bella, but some dirty tricks behind the referee’s back slowly swung the match in Bella’s favor. Brie connected with the Bella Buster for the 1-2-3.
Brie Bella pinned Newling-sama with the Bella Buster in 8:10. Rating: * 1/4
Commercial Break
The Bravados vs. Daniel Bryan & Jack Swagger Daniel Bryan got a no-so-warm welcome back to the PCW last week, losing to Jay Briscoe thanks to some outside interference. Tonight, the former multi-time champion teamed up with Jack Swagger to take on The Bravado brothers. Bryan looked more confident in the ring, knowing that Swagger was going to watch his back. One of the highlights of the match was watching Bryan lock in the Lebell Lock onto Lance Bravado outside the ring. That sequence essentially took Lance out of the match, leaving Harlem to fend for himself. The task did not go as well as he’d hoped, as he was no match for the submission skills of his opponents. Swagger wound him making Harlem submit to the Ankle Lock to end the match.
Daniel Bryan & Jack Swagger defeated The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) when Swagger made Harlem submit to the Ankle Lock in 10:14. Rating: ** ½
Backstage, after the match, Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza are seen with Brooke Barlow. Briscoe says he’s going to make this announcement short because he has to get ready to take down the Heavyweight Champion. Briscoe says that he and The Esperanza have accepted the challenge by Shinya Ishikawa and Sheamus and will put the titles on the line at Full Throttle.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, The Big Show is seen standing along in the backstage area, looking into the camera. He says that what happened to Carnage last was just a message to Jack Swagger. Show says that Swagger will not have the same success he had tonight and will not make Show tap out. With the stipulation of Falls Count Anywhere, there’s nothing stopping Show from knocking Swagger out.
Justin Gabriel vs. David Otunga This match was over almost as quickly as it started tonight. Gabriel and Otunga were both looking to get back on track by picking up a victory in this match, but things got interesting as CARNAGE appeared at ringside. For the second straight week Otunga must have wondered if he was in Carnage’s crosshairs. However, there was no time to find out as Gabriel hit a legsweep and rolled Otunga up for the victory. But the replay showed that Gabriel landed awkwardly when hitting the move and may have injured his leg. After the match, while the medical staff was helping Gabriel up the aisle, Carnage attacked him from behind! He landed a couple stomps to Gabriel’s injured leg before walking backstage, leaving Gabriel screaming in pain.
Justin Gabriel pinned David Otunga after a legsweep in 3:51. Justin Gabriel injured his left knee. He will be out for two weeks. Rating: **

The Amazing Red vs. Wade Barrett Tonight saw the debut of The Amazing Red to the PCW. The high-flyer from Puerto Rico seemed to give Barrett a lot more than he was expecting, as Red rolled Barrett up for a very quick victory!
The Amazing Red defeated Wade Barrett via pinfall in 1:42. Rating: * ¾
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match Jay Briscoe vs. © James Storm Tonight’s main event had a lot going on surrounding it. Could Jay Briscoe knock off the Heavyweight Champion? Could Chris Hero be trusted at ringside to protect James Storm, his opponent at Full Throttle? For the most part, yes, Hero did everything he could to make sure that Storm was allowed to wrestle a one-on-one match. And, the match that he and Briscoe put on was very good. Briscoe was clearly determined to win this match, as he was able to kick out of the Last Call on multiple occasions. However, for all of his efforts, Briscoe could not put the champion away either. As the match wound down, things got more interesting, as THE ESPERANZA came through the crowd and jumped the barricade, attacking Chris Hero from behind! With Hero down, The Esperanza tossed Briscoe his title belt, which Briscoe used to take Storm down to the mat. Briscoe made the cover, after hitting a Flatliner, for the 1-2-3.
After the match, Rex Butler rushed on-stage and said that he had seen enough of the constant interference by the Tag Team Champions. Butler then announces that, next week, the champions will face Chris Hero and James Storm in a non-title match.
[Non-Title Match]: Jay Briscoe pinned James Storm after a Flatliner in 14:34. Rating: ****

Bad Bones vs. Wade Barrett Bad Bones’ winning streak was at an impressive three matches heading into tonight, where he would take on Wade Barrett. Barrett was not in a good mood after being shown up by the debuting Amazing Red last week. Both men inflicted damage on each other outside the ring early on. But, as the match continued, Barrett’s anger start causing him to make mistakes that Bad Bones was eager to capitalize. Bad Bones caught Barrett with a Discus Punch for the 1-2-3.
Bad Bones pinned Wade Barrett after the Discus Punch in 8:05. Rating: ** ¾
Backstage, CHRIS HERO confronts JAMES STORM, blaming Storm for getting attacked by The Esperanza last week. Storm tells Hero that Hero was at ringside to watch him – not the other way around. Storm says that he doesn’t need Hero’s protection, so if Hero wants to blame anyone, he can start with himself. Storms walks off as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Commissioner Rex Butler is seen backstage with THE AMAZING RED and Brooke Barlow. Butler says that Red had such an impressive showing last week, in his debut, that Butler wonders if he can do it again. Butler then signs a match between The Amazing Red and David Otunga for later in the program.
Bayley vs. Nikki Bella Two weeks ago, after her loss to Brie Bella, Bayley said she was beginning to question how long her career would last in wrestling. Bayley was on the receiving end of an onslaught by Nikki Bella, tonight. But, “The Huggable One” is a former PCW Women’s Champion; and she did not show any signs of giving up. Bayley counted a Bella Bomb attempt, rolling up Nikki for a two-count. Back on her feet, Bayley caught Nikki with a Bayley-to-Belly Suplex for an impressive victory!
Bayley pinned Nikki Bella with the Bayley-to-Belly Suplex in 8:39. Rating: ½*

Gabriel Fuerza & Luke Gallows vs. The Bravados Two teams that are certainly no strangers to each other stepped into the ring tonight. It was Gallows and-then partner Kazarian who defeated The Bravados for the PCW Tag Team Title in December, only to wind up losing them in the very next match to the current champions. With Kazarian’s departure, Gallows brought in the rookie, Fuerza, in the hopes of getting those titles back. Although, unsuccessful, Fuerza has been a highlight since his debut at the start of the year. Because of that, The Bravados came in with a plan to isolate the newcomer, eventually taking him out of the match. This allowed the brothers to double team the larger Gallows, which eventually led to Harlem hitting the X Marks The Spot for the victory.
The Bravado Brothers (Harlem & Lance) defeated Luke Gallows & Gabriel Fuerza when Harlem pinned Gallows with the X Marks the Spot in 9:04. Rating: ¾*
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen standing alone, with an update on the injury suffered by Justin Gabriel last week. According to the PCW medical staff, Gabriel sustained a sprained knee and was ordered to stay off his feet for two weeks. The medical staff has said that Gabriel will be reevaluated this Saturday. When questioned about his return, Gabriel said that he hopes to be back in the ring in the very-near future.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Jack Swagger is seen with Brooke Barlow backstage. Brooke asks Swagger for a comment in response to what The Big Show said last week. Swagger says The Big Show wants to knock him out on Saturday night. But Swagger says that it’ll be hard for The Big Show to knock anyone out with a broken ankle!
The Amazing Red vs. David Otunga The Amazing Red had a very impressive debut last week, defeating Wade Barrett. The newcomer took Barrett by surprise and picked up the win in under five minutes. Tonight, with a little more preparation, David Otunga was ready to give Red a run for his money. Seeing that the element of surprise was no longer useful, Red pulled a pair of brass knuckles out of his gear, popping Otunga in the jaw! Red stood over Otunga and the referee, noticing the foreign object on his hand, called for the DQ.
David Otunga defeated The Amazing Red by DQ in 8:06. Rating: ** ¼
Commercial Break
Sheamus vs. Claudio Castagnoli Just six days away from challenging for the Tag Team Titles with Shinya Ishikawa, Sheamus stepped into the ring with the former PCW Heavyweight Champion, looking to get some momentum heading into Saturday night. Sheamus was in control for a majority of the match, but that all changed when ROBERT ROODE and AUSTIN AIRES came down to the ring and attacked him! The two men did a number on Sheamus after the referee called for the bell.
After the match, Roode and Aires stood in the center of the ring, as the crowd booed.
Sheamus defeated Claudio Castagnoli by DQ in 9:03. Rating: ** ¾ [Robert Roode & Austin Aires interfered against Sheamus.]
Backstage, after the match, Brooke Barlow is seen with the Tag Team Champions, Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza. She asks for their thoughts heading into tonight’s main event against Chris Hero and James Storm. Briscoe says, without a doubt, that this is going to be an easy victory for them because Hero and Storm have proven they can’t trust each other. A victory tonight would simply be a feather in their cap heading into Full Throttle.
Commercial Break
Non-Title Match ©Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza vs. ©Chris Hero & ©James Storm Chris Hero and James Storm have been at each other’s throats over the past few weeks, leading into their Title for Title Match this Saturday at Full Throttle. They were put together, as a team, for this match, signed last week by Rex Butler. They attempted to put their differences aside against the Tag Team Champions, but from the get-go, the seams of their makeshift partnership started to come undone. Briscoe and The Esperanza were the more fluid tag team, easily taking control when Hero and Storm would have their lapses. However, Storm would come to Hero’s aide throughout the match, trying to salvage the match. But he went to the well one too many times at the end of the match. The Esperanza locked Storm against the ropes as Briscoe hit Hero with a Discus Punch. Storm could do nothing but watch as Briscoe picked up the victory.

PCW: Full Throttle PPV February 9, 2013 Van Andel Arena – Grand Rapids, MI Attendance: 4,117 (38%)
The show opens up with a shot inside the Van Andel Arena. The crowd goes crazy as the hard camera pans around ringside. Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield are seen sitting behind the broadcast table at ringside. They run down tonight’s card, and wonder who is going to leave Grand Rapids with both the Television and Heavyweight Titles tonight: Chris Hero and James Storm. They send things to the ring for the opening match.
Lance Bravado vs. Wade Barrett Tonight’s opening match was trying to get the crowd pumped up for a night of action, but it seemed to have come out flat, according to the crowd response. Bravado stunned Barrett by coming out with a strong performance, including reversing a spinebuster slam attempt into a sunset flip that sent the back of Barrett’s head into the guardrail at ringside. The contact dazed Barrett for a little while, but he was able to overcome the blow and connect with a Pumphandle Slam to finally put Bravado away.
Wade Barrett pinned Lance Bravado after a pumphandle slam in 10:16. Rating: 3/4*
Backstage, Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza are seen with Brooke Barlow. Barlow asks how they are feeling heading into their title defense tonight. Briscoe tells Brooke that they’ve beaten everyone that has been put in front of them. He mentions that they even beat Chris Hero and James Storm this past Tuesday night – the supposed “top guys” in PCW. Briscoe says there’s no comparison between what they did on Tuesday night and the caliber of opponents that Ishikawa and Sheamus are.
A highlight package plays next, showing the events that have taken place leading up to the Women’s Title Match.
Women’s Title Match: Brie Bella vs. © Natalya Since coming up short in her bid to become Women’s Champion back in December, Brie Bella has been not-so-patiently waiting to get her hands on Natalya again. The on-going feud between these two women has been well documented, and ultimately came to a head, a couple weeks back when Natalya physically got involved in Brie’s match against her sister Nikki, costing Brie the outcome. Tonight, Brie came out on a mission and wasted no time taking the fight to the champion. But, no matter what she tried, Brie was unable to put Natalya away. And so, becoming desperate, Brie grabbed the title belt and brought it into the ring. Brie missed when Natalya ducked, and the champion connected with a DDT in the center of the ring, pinning Brie to retain the title!
[Women’s Title Match]: Natalya defeated Brie Bella by pinfall in 7:15. Rating: * (Natalya retained the PCW Women’s Championship.)
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with Shinya Ishikawa and Sheamus. Sheamus says that Briscoe and The Esperanza can try to discredit them all they want. But there is no denying that he and Ishikawa have worked their asses off to get where they are, to be standing here tonight as the challengers for the Tag Team Titles. He says they are going to give the champions a fight unlike any team has, and plan on walking out of the arena with the titles around their waists.
A pre-recorded interview with Justin Gabriel is shown. Gabriel explains that, while he hasn’t fully been cleared by the medical staff, he has taken every possible precaution for his injured knee, to ensure he can go out and wrestle later tonight.
PCW Tag Team Championship Match Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus vs. © Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza The crowd was stunned to see RHETT TITUS join The Esperanza on the top of the ramp before this match. From the broadcast table, speculation ran wild as to the whereabouts of Jay Briscoe, as it was clear that The Esperanza was not pleased by his partner’s disappearance. To his credit, Titus held his own in his role, especially against competition like Ishikawa and Sheamus. The duo have been on a tear lately, and came into this match as the biggest threat to end the champions’ reign on top. But it was clear that The Esperanza was on a mission for the sake of his partner, as questions were starting to mount, to retain the titles by any means necessary. This came true as Sheamus and Titus found themselves brawling outside the ring. The Esperanza, after wearing down Ishikawa, rolled out of the ring and grabbed a title belt. Back inside the ring, he cracked the belt over Ishikawa’s head before tossing it to the concrete before making the cover for the 1-2-3.
[Tag Team Championship Match]: Rhett Titus & The Esperanza defeated Shinya Ishikawa & Sheamus when Esperanza pinned S. Ishikawa after hitting him with the title belt in 6:10. Rating: ** [Jay Briscoe no-showed.]
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with The Oberhausen Terror Corps. Bad Bones says that Gabriel claims to have taken every precaution for his knee, but still says Gabriel has made the worse decision of his career. Bad Bones says that Gabriel will be lucky to walk out of the ring on his own, if he has anything to say about it.
A preview for PCW: Mayhem is shown. Mayhem will be held LIVE from the Mohegan Sun Arena on March 23rd!
Justin Gabriel vs. Bad Bones Just less than two weeks ago, Justin Gabriel injured his knee during a match against David Otunga. During and after the match, CARNAGE attacked Gabriel, further adding to the injury. Earlier tonight, Gabriel had his knee taped as much as he could, to ensure at least some mobility in the ring. But Carnage’s partner, Bad Bones, made it clear that Gabriel’s decision to get in the ring was one he would regret. Bones spent his time working over Gabriel’s injured knee, almost toying with him like an animal. But Gabriel, essentially on one working leg, fought back and was even able to get a near-fall! Arguing the call, which he thought was a three-count, Gabriel hobbled across the ring, trying to get into the referee’s face. This allowed Bones the chance to get a pair of brass knuckles from his trunks and strike Gabriel in the back of the head! Bones hid the weapon and made the cover for the 1-2-3.
Bad Bones pinned Justin Gabriel after hitting him with brass knuckles in 8:09. Rating: ** ¼
Backstage, Heavyweight Champion James Storm tells Brooke Barlow that tonight is going to be his toughest challenge as champion. Storm gives credit to Chris Hero for his lengthy reign as Television Champion but says that reign ends tonight.
Falls Count Anywhere Match Jack Swagger vs. The Big Show The last time these two men met, nearly a month ago, their match ended in a double countout. That result led Rex Butler to signing a Falls Count Anywhere Match for tonight, where there would be a winner no matter what. Swagger, who was once again giving up a size advantage to The Big Show, found some equalization out of the many objects that could be found around ringside. As the two men battle throughout the crowd, behind the barrier, Swagger tried using everything he could get his hands on to even things up with The Big Show. But while he was able to do some physical damage, Swagger didn’t do enough to put the former Heavyweight Champion away. Back on the other side of the guardrail, The Big Show took control after blocking a chair shot with his fist, stunning Swagger. Show then grabbed Swagger and sent him through the broadcast table with a choke slam before making the cover.
[Falls Count Anywhere Match]: The Big Show pinned Jack Swagger with the Choke Slam in 8:07. Rating: **
Another preview for PCW: Mayhem is shown.
Backstage, Television Champion Chris Hero blames James Storm for what happened on Tuesday night, saying that Storm trying to kiss his ass tonight won’t stop Hero from taking away the Heavyweight Title.
Television & Heavyweight Titles Match © Chris Hero vs. © James Storm For the past month, the top two men in PCW have been throwing out verbal jabs to each other, leading up to the first-ever “Title for Title” Match in the company’s history. Last Monday night, Hero and Storm teamed up to take on the Tag Team Champions but came up with a loss that Hero blamed on Storm. Tonight, both men would walk into the match with a title belt, but only one man would leave with both. There was a lot of tension built up between these two, and they let it all out during this match. In a battle to see who would take the mantle as the best in the PCW, Chris Hero connected with a cravate suplex to put away Storm and become PCW’s first dual champion!
After the match, Hero celebrated in the ring by holding both title belts above his head as the show went off the air.
[Title for Title Match]: Chris Hero pinned James Storm after a cravate suplex in 9:06. Rating: ** ¼ [Chris Hero won the PCW Heavyweight Championship.] [Chris Hero retained the PCW Television Championship.]

PCW Wrestling – February 12, 2013 – Kellogg Arena (Battle Creek, MI) Commentators: Alfred Pressley & James Westerfield Attendance: 3,920
Highlights from Saturday night’s Full Throttle pay-per-view are shown. The clip ends as the announcers welcome everyone to Battle Creek. Television and Heavyweight Champion Chris Hero makes his way out to the ring, carrying both titles over his shoulders. Hero grabs a microphone and lets the boos die down before speaking. He says that the titles he carries is proof – and proof enough – that he is hands down the best wrestler on the PCW roster. Hero then calls out Commissioner Rex Butler, saying that he has an announcer that he wants to tell Butler in-person.
Eventually, Rex Butler makes his way to the ring and asks what Hero’s announcement is. Hero tells Butler that, since he’s proven he is better than anyone in the PCW, he has decided to remain on the main roster and prove that he can do the same thing there. Hero announces that he is vacating both titles, immediately, and drops them on the canvas before leaving the ring to a chorus of boos.
Butler stand in the ring, watching Hero leave, before announcing that now that things have been shaken up, it’s time to find new homes for both titles. Butler announces that, tonight, there will be a Triple Threat Match for the now-vacant Television Title. Butler then goes onto announce that the process of the MAYHEM tournament will begin tonight with a 16-man battle royal. Starting next week, a 16-man tournament will be held, with seedings being determined by order of elimination in tonight’s battle royal. Butler says the tournament will continue until there are four participants remaining. At that point, a Fatal Four Way Match will be held to determine the new Heavyweight Champion. Butler leaves the ring as the announcers discuss the announcement before the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Daniel Bryan vs. Kazarian Neither Bryan nor Kazarian took part in the Full Throttle event on Saturday evening, but they were given the chance to open the first show on the road to Mayhem. Throughout this match, neither man was truly able to take advantage and hold it. Multiple times during the match things fell apart and an all-out brawl would begin. Bryan did try to use his considerable mat skills to slow the pace down, but Kazarian was able to escape Bryan’s clutches. Kazarian would take things to the air, using his agility to take over the match. But, thing would take a turn when Kazarian went for a pinfall attempt, only to have BOBBY ROODE and AUSTIN AIRES jump over the barricade and attack him in the center of the ring!
Roode and Aires would continue to assault Kazarian after the bell rang. Bryan, still groggy from the match, attempted to come to Kazarian’s aid, only to get pushed away. PCW officials rushed down to the ring as Roode and Aires slid through the ropes and escaped over the barricades again. The officials checked on Kazarian as his attacked raised their arms in triumph.
Kazarian defeated Daniel Bryan by DQ in 10:08. Rating: ** ½ [Bobby Roode & Austin Aires attacked Kazarian.]
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is backstage with The Big Show ahead of tonight’s 16-man Battle Royal. The Big Show says that it’s innovative what Rex Butler is wanting to do, but tonight, old-school power and size are what will give him the number one spot in the MAYHEM Tournament. As The Big Show walks off, he is stopped by The Esperanza, who says no… skill is what will win the battle royal and tournament. He tells Show that he is the favorite tonight.
Triple Threat Match for the Television Title Drew McIntyre vs. Justin Gabriel vs. Sheamus With Chris Hero vacating the Television Title at the start of the show, Rex Butler chose the three superstars who have put themselves in contention for the title, to take part in a Triple Threat Match. Justin Gabriel is coming into this match as the more seasoned of the three, having held the title on multiple occasions in the past. Sheamus came in as the odds-on favorite, having an advantage in size and strength. And, McIntyre came in with previous TV Title Match experience, so all three men have been introduced to the big stage. Throughout the match, Sheamus and Gabriel made quick tags to stay fresh, essentially turning the match into a two-on-one affair. However, things changed towards the end of the match, when Sheamus found himself on a tear, taking out both men during a brawl. After the referee regained control, Gabriel found himself on the apron. But a slap on Sheamus’ back, signifying a tag, cause the two men to get into a shoving match. Gabriel ducked a clothesline attempt, dropkicking Sheamus out of the ring, leaving him alone with a weary McIntyre. Gabriel waited for the right moment before connecting with a Discus Punch for the 1-2-3, becoming the new Television Champion!
Triple Threat Match for the vacant Television Title: Justin Gabriel defeated Drew McIntyre and Sheamus when J. Gabriel pinned D. McIntyre after the Discus Punch in 9:12. Rating: * ½ (Justin Gabriel won the PCW Television Title.)
Commercial Break
16-Man MAYHEM Battle Royal Sheamus, McIntyre and Gabriel were not able to get any rest, as they stayed in the ring while the other 13 men came down for the main event. Sheamus, for his credit, did not last long, as he was the first elimination after a flying dropkick by McIntyre sent him over the top rope. McIntyre wasn’t finished as he quickly tossed The Amazing Red over the top rope a minute later. McIntyre would stay in the match for nearly 20 minutes before The Big Show got a hold of him, chokeslamming McIntyre over the top rope. That would be Show’s only elimination for the night, which ended when James Storm – the eventual winner – tossed him over the top rope to win the match. Storm, the former Heavyweight Champion, looked very impressive tonight, being responsible for five eliminations, including Show. Kazarian and Luke Gallows each had two eliminations; Bobby Roode and Carnage rounded things out with one elimination each. With the battle royal now complete, the seeds have been set for the upcoming MAYHEM tournament that will begin next week.

The former Heavyweight Champion says that, by winning the battle royal last week, he is the man to beat heading into Mayhem. SHEAMUS’ music hits as he makes his way to the ring to confront Storm. Sheamus says that he considers himself the number one contender for the Television Title because he wasn’t pinned last week. But, he says that upsetting Storm in tonight’s Mayhem tournament match would make him rethink his options going forward. The two men stare each other down as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Mayhem Tournament – Round One Kenny King vs. © Justin Gabriel A week after surviving a triple threat match with Drew McIntyre and Sheamus to win the Television Title, Justin Gabriel found himself in the opening match of the Mayhem Tournament to crown a new Heavyweight Champion at Mayhem in March. With his newly won title not on the line, Gabriel could focus on trying to become the second dual champion. All he had to do was get past Kenny King in the first round. King was not going to make things easy for Gabriel, as he brought things outside the ring, looking to inflict some damage on the champion. Yet, Gabriel’s fighting spirit propelled a late comeback, but the match was called after the referee counted both men out. After the match, officials rushed down to ringside, separating the two as the show went to commercials.
Mayhem Tournament – Round One Justin Gabriel and Kenny King battled to a double count out in 14:46. Rating: ** ½
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, MELINA confronts Women’s Champion NATALYA backstage. Melina says that neither she, Natalya, nor the rest of the Women’s Division should be an afterthought heading into the biggest event on the PCW calendar. She tells Natalya that they could burn the house down at the first-ever Mayhem, with the Women’s Title on the line. Natalya looks at Melina and then at the title belt draped over her shoulder. She tells Melina that she has something to think about before walking off as the camera goes back to ringside.
Mayhem Tournament – Round One Daniel Bryan vs. Drew McIntyre Last week, Drew McIntyre was on the losing end of the Triple Threat Match for the Television Title, getting pinned by new champion Justin Gabriel. Tonight, he stepped into the ring with someone who is quite familiar with holding championship gold in the PCW, Daniel Bryan. Bryan gave up a big height advantage to McIntyre but was able to keep the bigger man grounded due to his mat wrestling skills. However, McIntyre was able to overpower Bryan and take control of the match. That is, until BOBBY ROODE and AUSTIN AIRES made the way to the ring and attacked McIntyre from behind! The referee called for the DQ, allowing McIntyre to move onto the next round in the Mayhem Tournament.
Mayhem Tournament – Round One: Drew McIntyre defeated Daniel Bryan by DQ in 6:16. Rating: * ½ [Bobby Roode & Austin Aires interfered against Drew McIntyre.]
After the match, Roode and Aires enter the ring, where Roode grabs a microphone and says that, during his absence from the ring, he did a lot of searching. He says that he was once part of one of the best tag teams in the PCW with James Storm. Roode says that things got tense between the two of them, ending with a fight over the Heavyweight Title. Roode looked for something that could make him better, propel him to higher heights, and it found it in Austin Aires.
Aires grabs the microphone and says that the idiots in the crowd might now know who he is, but they will soon find out that he and Roode are going to run over the Tag Team Division. As they’ve proven over the last few nights, no one is safe from being made an example of their goal. Aires drops the microphone and both men leave the ring as the show goes to commercials.

Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen backstage with Rex Butler. Butler says that, due to the injury sustained by Luke Gallows last night on Anarchy, he will not be competing his scheduled match in the Mayhem tournament. Therefore, Butler says, The Esperanza will advance to the Fatal Four Way Match at Mayhem. Butler wishes Gallows a speedy recovery before walking away.
Commercial Break
Coming back from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen backstage with a smiling Big Show. Brooke asks why he’s smiling, and Show says that he should have been the winner of last week’s battle royal. But, he’s in the process of getting over that. He says, what helps in that process, is knowing that he’s only one match away from getting a spot in the Fatal Four-Way Match at Mayhem. Show tells Brooke that things seem to have a way of working out for him; and it won’t be long until he has the Heavyweight Title once again.
Mayhem Tournament – Round One Sheamus vs. James Storm Last week, James Storm was the last man standing at the end of the 16-man battle royal. The victory gave him the number-one seed in the Mayhem Tournament, which would seemingly give the former Heavyweight Champion an easy path to the title match in late March. Sheamus, on the other hand, came out as the first elimination in the tournament, thus getting saddled with the number 16 spot in the tournament. Along with being the first participant thrown out last week, Sheamus was also on the short end of the stick when it came to the Television Title Triple Threat Match. In what would boil down to not much more than an out-right brawl, Sheamus was able to come out on top, hitting The High Cross for the shocking victory. The number 16 seed will now be advancing to the second round of the Mayhem Tournament.
Mayhem Tournament – Round One: Sheamus pinned James Storm with the High Cross in 11:51. Rating: *** ¾

Highlights from last week’s Mayhem Tournament are shown. The last clip shows Sheamus defeating James Storm to advance to the next round. When the clip ends, the camera shows the inside of the arena as Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to northern Alabama. Sheamus’ music interrupts the introduction as he makes his way to the ring. The announcers talk about how he was able to upset the number-one seed in the tournament, James Storm, last week.
In the ring, Sheamus lets the mixed reaction die down before saying that he didn’t want to waste any time before making his announcement. Sheamus says that for the last several weeks, he has been pining for a chance to get back in the ring with Justin Gabriel and have the Television Title on the line. But, after what happened last week – when he shook up the rest of the tournament – he has decided to put all of his focus on earning a spot in the Mayhem Fatal Four Way and walking away as the new Heavyweight Champion.
As Sheamus heada toward the ropes, he is stopped as Kenny King’s music begins to play. The crowd boos as King makes his way into the ring, looking at Sheamus. King grabs his own microphone and says that Sheamus can stay in the ring or not, it doesn’t matter because what he has to say doesn’t concern Sheamus. King says that, since Sheamus is focusing on other things, there’s the issue of who’s going to face Justin Gabriel at Mayhem. King says that he has positioned himself in line for a TV Title shot and he is out here tonight to demand it. He says that Gabriel has until next week to give him an answer and anything other than “yes” won’t end well for the champion.
Commercial Break
Mayhem Tournament – First Round Kazarian vs. Bobby Roode Over the past couple weeks, Kazarian has had quite the string of bad luck. First, his tag team partner – Luke Gallows – goes down with a fairly serious back injury that will keep him out a lengthy amount of time. Then, two weeks ago, he was attacked for no reason by Bobby Roode and Austin Aires, as they attempted to send a message to the PCW roster. Tonight, Kazarian had his chance for some retribution as he stepped into the ring with Roode, in the hopes of moving on in the Mayhem tournament. Unfortunately for Kazarian, Roode dominated most of this match, albeit using some unfavorable methods to do so. Roode would routinely wait until a four-count before releasing chokeholds, now allowing Kazarian to get enough air throughout the match. This all helped lead to Kazarian getting weaker towards the end. However, Kazarian did stage a comeback, and was able to get out of Roode’s attempt to hit the Payoff, connecting with the Fade to Black for the win!
[Mayhem Tournament – First Round]: Kazarian pinned Bobby Roode with the Fade to Black in 8:40. Rating: ** ¼
After the match, DREW MCINTYRE makes his way out to the ramp with a microphone in-hand. He says that he has had a very bad past couple weeks, and that Roode and Aires crossed a line by interfering in his match last week. Before he can continue, AUSTIN ARIES attacks him from behind. Aires lands a few shots before Kazarian rushes up the ramp, coming to the aide of McIntyre.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Women’s Champion Natalya confronts Melina backstage. Natalya says that she spent last week thinking about Melina’s challenge and says she respects Melina for putting herself out there. But, Natalya says, before Melina can get a title shot at Mayhem, she has to earn one. Natalya says that, if Melina is willing, she will choose Melina’s opponent for next week. If Melina is successful, she will get a title shot at Mayhem. Natalya says that’s her offer before walking away.
Mayhem Tournament – First Round Bad Bones vs. Carnage The members of the Oberhausen Terror Corp had the unfortunate draw of stepping into the ring against each other for the right to advance in the Mayhem Tournament. Before the match both men shook hands in as a sign of showing no ill-will towards each other. This match was a true contest to see who could outsmart their opponent, as both men knew what the other was capable of, having partnered together for so many years. Both men used the ring side area to their advantage, keeping with their reputation for wanting to inflict damage. But, late in the match, after taking an awkward landing on the canvas, Carnage came up limping, and whatever momentum he had was gone in a snap. Bad Bones focused on the injured leg, setting Carnage up for the Shadow Driver for the 1-2-3.
[Mayhem Tournament – First Round]: Bad Bones pinned Carnage with the Shadow Driver in 8:35. *Carnage injured his right knee* Rating: *** ½
After the match, Bad Bones celebrated his victory as he exited the ring, leaving his partner scrambling to his knees, using the ropes for leverage.
Commercial Break
Returning back from the break, CARNAGE is seen being helped to the trainer’s room. BAD BONES approaches, but Carnage says something to him in German, pushing Bones away before the door is closed.
In a pre-recorded interview, Jay Briscoe, speaking for The Esperanza, says that neither of them is sorry that Luke Gallows got injured. It just shows how much of a liability Gallows is in the ring, and it’s better for The Esperanza to not have gotten in the ring with him. Alisha Hicks asks about the possibility of Briscoe and The Esperanza facing each other in the Fatal Four Way Match at Mayhem. Briscoe says that they will cross that bridge when they get to it.
Mayhem Tournament – First Round Wade Barrett vs. Jay Briscoe Jay Briscoe has been on a tear through the PCW since joining forces with The Esperanza and winning the Tag Team Titles back in December. Tonight, he stepped in the ring with Barrett, who himself, is looking to grab the Heavyweight Title for the first time. Briscoe dominated for a majority of the match, keeping the bigger man from using that height difference to his advantage. Eventually, Barrett did take control of things, but that was short-lived as THE ESPERANZA came to ringside, distracting Barrett. This allowed Briscoe to gain his composure, and when Barrett turned around, connect with a kick to the head for the victory.
[Mayhem Tournament – First Round]: Jay Briscoe pinned Wade Barrett after a kick to the head in 7:13. Rating: ** [The Esperanza interfered against Wade Barrett.]

A preview for MAYHEM is shown. With the final eight competitors set to face-off, the Fatal Four Way Elimination Match will be revealed in two weeks. The vacated Heavyweight Title is at stake when the PCW is live, in Uncasville, CT, only on pay-per-view!
Mayhem Tournament – First Round The Amazing Red vs. The Big Show In the final match of the opening round, The Big Show took on newcomer The Amazing Red in what should have been a very one-sided match. But Red shocked a lot of people – including his opponent – by showing that he wasn’t intimidated by The Big Show. Red garnered a lot of offense during the match, but each time he was thwarted by The Big Show. Red never backed down and kept fighting for the chance to earn a spot in the Fatal Four Way at Mayhem, until Big Show stopped his momentum with a huge right hand. Show then hit the Choke Slam for the victory and advanced, staking his claim to the first of four spots in Heavyweight Title Match.
[Mayhem Tournament – First Round]: The Big Show pinned The Amazing Red with the Choke Slam in 12:23. Rating: ** ¾

PCW Wrestling March 5, 2013 Stockton Arena – Stockton, CA Attendance: 5,160 (43%)
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Stockton, California for the latest edition of PCW Wrestling. It is announced that, due to the draw in the first round of the Heavyweight Title tournament that sent The Big Show into the Fatal Four-Way Match at Mayhem, there will only be one tournament match tonight, putting Kazarian against Sheamus to fill the second spot at the Mayhem pay-per-view.
Justin Gabriel’s music plays as the Television Champion comes out to the ring. Gabriel says that he stands before the crowd as a three-time Television Champion; and that it feels great to have the belt in his possession again. But the reason he came out tonight, is to address the challenge issued by Kenny King last week. Gabriel says that King is clearly a person who only thinks about himself and jumped at the chance to steal the spotlight away from Sheamus last week. Gabriel says that King thought it would be the right time to issue a challenge for Gabriel and the Television Title at Mayhem. Gabriel says that King couldn’t get the job done when he challenged for the Heavyweight Title earlier in the year, so now he thinks he can come get the belt that means so much to Gabriel. He accepts King’s offer and says that he looks forward to keeping the title around his waist afterward.
As Gabriel’s music hits and he leaves the ring, KENNY KING runs down the ramp and attacks! King and Gabriel brawl on the ramp, trading blows, before officials rush down and separate the two. The two men share words back and forth as King is escorted backstage.
In the back, BAD BONES approaches CARNAGE, who is sitting on a chair in the locker room, placing a brace on his leg. Bones begins speaking in German and soon the two men are getting louder, causing Carnage to stand up – not putting pressure on his injured leg – before they suddenly stop talking. After a tense moment, with both men looking at each other squarely in the eye, Carnage extends his hand and Bones shakes it. Bones turns to leave the locker room as the show goes to commercials.

Jack Swagger vs. Shinya Ishikawa Both of these competitors have been relatively quiet over the past few weeks. Tonight, they were getting a chance to add a notch to their victory column, after both coming up with losses their last times out. Ishikawa and Sheamus came up short in their bid to win the Tag Team Titles from Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza at the Full Throttle pay-per-view. Swagger also came up short in a big match – this time a Falls Count Anywhere Match against The Big Show which ended with Swagger eating a right hand from Show, knocking him out, unable to answer the referee’s 10-count. In in a sense of poetic justice, after a evenly-fought match, Swagger connected with a Discus Punch that took Ishikawa off his feet long enough for Swagger to make the pinfall.
Jack Swagger pinned Shinya Ishikawa after the Discus Punch in 9:23. Rating: * ½
Backstage, Brooke Barlow asks MELINA about her up-coming match tonight. Melina says that she has no idea who her opponent is going to be tonight. Natalya could pick literally anyone and Melina will have to deal with that. Melina says that no matter who she faces tonight, she must defeat her in order to get a title shot at Mayhem. Melina walks away, looking confident, as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Melina is shown inside the ring, when Natalya’s music starts to play. The Women’s Champion makes her way on stage, the belt around her waist, and says that it’s the time that Melina has been waiting for. Natalya says that she decided on someone who put every woman in the Division on notice when she debuted; and put up one hell of a fight for the Women’s Title when she got her chance. Natalya introduces Newling-sama Melina’s opponent.
Melina vs. Newling-sama Natalya seemed to have an ace up her sleeve as she chose Newling-sama to be Melina’s mystery opponent. Newling, who challenged Natalya for the Women’s Title just a month after debuting in the PCW, quickly made a name for herself. But if Melina was stunned by the choice, she didn’t show it as Newling entered the ring. Both women went back and forth, trading offensive moves, neither one of them really able to gain the upper hand throughout the match. With Natalya watching on from the stage, Melina was under pressure to perform, trying to earn herself a title match at Mayhem. On the other hand, Newling-sama was under pressure by being hand-picked to make sure Melina didn’t get that title shot. In the end, Melina shocked Newling-sama with a forearm smash to the temple, giving her just enough time to make the cover and become the Number One Contender for Natalya’s Women’s Title!
Melina pinned Newling-sama after a forearm smash in 7:12. Rating: ¼*
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with KAZARIAN and DREW MCINTYRE. McIntyre says that Bobby Roode has been around the PCW for a long time; but now, since Austin Aries has arrived, Roode seems to have a new attitude. McIntyre says that’s all well and good, until they started sticking their nose in his business. Now, he speaks for both himself Kazarian when he says that it’s become personal. Kazarian says that the time for talk is over and that he and McIntyre have business to attend to.
Commercial Break
James Storm & Wade Barrett vs. The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries & Bobby Roode) Bobby Roode’s new tag team – The Dirty Heels – made their in-ring debut tonight. For weeks, Roode and Austin Aries have been causing issues for Kazarian and Drew McIntyre. Tonight, it was time to see how they worked as a team. The only downside was that their opponents tonight knew Roode better than most anyone on the roster. Roode and Barrett have had their issues in the past, mainly over the Heavyweight Title. And, Storm and Roode were one of wrestling’s most well-known tag teams for a number of years. The wildcard was Aries, who was wrestling for the first time in the PCW. Aries brought an offense that neither Storm or Barrett had seen before, and that would be the deciding factor. Aries connected with a 450 splash onto Barrett for the pinfall, giving this new team their first victory in the PCW.
The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries & Bobby Roode) defeated James Storm & Wade Barrett when Aries pinned Barrett with the 450 Splash in 11:21. Rating: ** ¾
After the match, Aries and Roode make their way up the ramp, when they are stopped by Kazarian and McIntyre. The four men begin to share words until Kazarian and McIntyre throw the first punches. A brawl ensues on the ramp and the crowd cheers what they’re seeing. Officials run out to the state, trying to break up the fight, but struggle to get everyone separated. With the officials restraining Kazarian and McIntyre, Aries and Roode escape and run backstage as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, recap videos are shown of Kazarian’s and Sheamus’s victories in the Mayhem Tournament.
Mayhem Tournament – Second Round Kazarian vs. Sheamus Tonight’s main event would name the second participant in the Fatal Four-Way Match for the vacant Heavyweight Title at Mayhem. Kazarian got to this match by upsetting Bobby Roode – the man who he will face in tag team action at Mayhem, as well – in the first round. Sheamus moved into this match after the biggest upset in the tournament, knocking off the number-one seed, James Storm, to advance. Both men were eager to advance to the finals and stopped at nothing to make it happen. However, that eagerness got the better of both of them in the end. While both men were wanting to inflict as much damage as possible to the other, neither man was aware of the referee’s 10-count. Kazarian and Sheamus were brawling outside the ring as the bell signaled a double countout!
After the match, AUSTIN ARIES and BOBBY ROODE came down to ringside and attacked Kazarian! The double team continued until DREW MCINTYRE came to the rescue, clearing the ringside area. Aries and Roode were shouting at McIntyre, as he stood over his fallen partner, while the announcers signed off for the week.
[Mayhem Tournament – Second Round]: Kazarian and Sheamus battled to a double countout in 16:24. Rating: * ¾

PCW Wrestling March 12, 2013 UC Santa Barbara Events Center – Santa Barbara, CA Attendance: 2,688
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield open up the show, welcoming everyone to the campus of the University of California, Santa Barbara. Just 12 days away from MAYHEM and, tonight, the final two spots for the now-Triple Threat Match for the vacant Heavyweight Title will be filled. An updated bracket is shown, with the results of last week’s match between Kazarian and Sheamus added. Currently, The Big Show is the only participant in the Triple Threat Match, but the announcers say that both members of the Tag Team Champions have a chance to earn spots tonight.
Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza make their way to the ring, carrying the Tag Team Titles over their shoulders. Briscoe grabs a microphone and says that tonight is a very important night in the careers of both himself and The Esperanza. Because tonight, both of them have a chance to earn spots in the Triple Threat Match – against The Big Show – for the Heavyweight Title. Briscoe says that The Big Show probably had the easiest road to get into that match, since he only had to defeat a single, much smaller opponent. When looking at their opponents on paper, Briscoe says that he and The Esperanza aren’t much worse off than The Big Show. The Esperanza will face off against Bad Bones – one-half of a team that they have previously defended the Tag Team Titles against. Briscoe then says that his opponent tonight – Drew McIntyre – is so caught up in his situation with The Dirty Heels, that it’s a wonder he’s going to show up at all. Briscoe says that tonight should be a foregone conclusion, but they still have to come out and wrestle their matches. He tells the crowd not to be surprised to see both of them advance before the night is over.
They leave the ring, to a tremendous roar of boos, as the show goes to commercials.
Commercial Break
Jack Swagger vs. The Amazing Red A week after picking up the victory against Shinya Ishikawa, Jack Swagger was back in the ring, looking to make it two in a row, against The Amazing Red. Red, coming off a first-round tournament loss to The Big Show, was looking to get back on a winning path tonight. Red used his speed to get an early start in the match, but it didn’t take long for Swagger to overpower Red and gain control of the match. Taking things outside the ring, Swagger set Red against the ring post and looked poised to connect with a running boot, only for Red to move out of the way at the last minute! Red regained control and connect with a koppo kick back inside the ring. Red made the cover, holding onto Swagger’s trunks as the referee counted to three!
After the match, Swagger quickly got to his feet as Red slid out of the ring, victorious. Swagger argued that the referee was using a fast count. Frustrated, Swagger shoved the referee to the canvas before storming out of the ring as the show went to commercials.
The Amazing Red pinned Jack Swagger after a koppo kick in 10:08. Rating: 2.75
Commercial Break Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen with Bad Bones in the backstage area. She asks him about his up-coming match against The Esperanza and the comments made by Jay Briscoe earlier tonight. Bad Bones says that it’s hard to know what The Esperanza thinks, since Briscoe does all the talking for him. But from what Briscoe said, both men are overly confident; and when that happens, they are bound to make mistakes.
Hicks then tries to ask about the confrontation between Bad Bones and Carnage last week. Bad Bones says that what was said between them is personal. The only thing that matters is that Carnage is 100 percent and ready to go. Bad Bones walks away as the camera goes to ringside.
Lance Bravado vs. Carnage Carnage was returning to the ring, two weeks after injuring his knee in a Mayhem tournament match against his partner, Bad Bones, looking to see if he was truly at 100 percent. Lance Bravado was making his return to the ring for the first time since early February, looking to pick up a victory. Carnage started off strong, and his knee looked like it was in good shape. But Bravado took control of the match after focusing his attack on the injured limb. Lance used a number of submission moves to wear down Carnage’s leg, but was unable to get him to submit. Bravdo attempted a Boston Crab, but Carnage was able to push him off into the turnbuckle. As Bravado stumbled back, Carnage locked his legs around Bravado and put him in the Ankle Lock. Bravado struggled to reach the ropes before eventually tapping out.
After the match, Carnage used the ropes to get to his feet and limped his way up the ramp after being announced the winner.
Carnage made Lance Bravado submit to the Ankle Lock in 8:32. Rating: 2.75
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen backstage with Drew McIntyre. Alisha asks about his up-coming match against Jay Briscoe and how that could affect things going on with The Dirty Heels. McIntyre says that Briscoe and The Esperanza have proven that they will take every advantage they can to help them win. But tonight, he says, a victory put him in the Triple Threat Match at Mayhem for the Heavyweight Title – a night in which he and Kazarian already have plans of finally getting their hands on Austin Aries and Bobby Roode. He says, at Mayhem, Aries and Roode can run like the cowards they are or face them like men.
Mayhem Tournament – Second Round Bad Bones vs. The Esperanza The first of the final two tournament matches saw Bad Bones take on one-half of the Tag Team Champions, The Esperanza. After the impassioned speech made by Jay Briscoe to start the show, it was no wonder that The Esperanza would come out firing on all cylinders. The Esperanza held control at the beginning of the match but was unable to put Bad Bones away. Knowing how close he was to a shot at the Heavyweight Title, Bad Bones did everything he could to turn the tide in his favor, eventually doing so after sending things outside the ring. Back inside the ring, Bad Bones kept up his attack on the champion, until JAY BRISCOE made his way down to the ring! Briscoe distracted the referee, allowing The Esperanza low-blow Bad Bones. As the referee turned around, The Esperanza connected with a savate kick and covered Bad Bones for the victory.
After the match, The Esperanza rolled out of the ring and joined Briscoe on the ramp, as the show went to commercials.
[Mayhem Tournament – Second Round]: The Esperanza pinned Bad Bones after a savate kick in 8:02. Rating: 3.50
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen backstage with Melina. Brooke asks how Melina is feeling after earning the chance to challenge Natalya for the Women’s Title at Mayhem. Melina says that she always knew she could get the job done, but it was still a moment to remember when she was announced the winner. Before she can continue, Natalya approaches – with the Women’s Title around her waist – and congratulates Melina for her victory last week. Natalya says Melina showed that she could earn a title match, but now she has to show how badly she wants the title itself.
Mayhem Tournament – Second Round Drew McIntyre vs. Jay Briscoe Tonight’s final match between Drew McIntyre and Jay Briscoe would determine in the final competitor in the Triple Threat Match at Mayhem would be. Briscoe was looking to back up the statements he made earlier in the show and came out strong against McIntyre at the start of the match. Briscoe controlled the match and even hit a J-Driller, but only got a two-count. McIntyre fought his way back into controlling the match but was never able to put together a long string of offense. McIntyre spent most of the match on defense but held his own until The Dirty Heels made their way onto the stage. As Aries and Roode made their way down the ramp, the referee quickly exited the ring and banned them from ringside, sending both men back up the ramp. Inside the ring, Briscoe used the distraction to McIntyre with a low-blow, followed up by another J-Driller. Briscoe made the cover after the referee re-entered the ring and picked up the victory.
After the match, The Dirty Heels looked on from the stage as Briscoe rolled out of the ring, celebrating his victory.
[Mayhem Tournament – Second Round]: Jay Briscoe pinned Drew McIntyre with the J-Driller in 13:10. Rating: 2.75

PCW Wrestling March 19, 2013 Veterans Memorial Arena – Binghamton, New York Attendance: 4,917
Alfred Pressley and James Westington welcome everyone to Binghamton, just four days away from Mayhem and the culmination of the month’s long tournament that will decide the owner of the currently vacant Heavyweight Title. It is announced that, since both Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza will be in the Triple Threat Match this Saturday, they will be defending their Tag Team Titles tonight against Sheamus and Shinya Ishikawa – the number one contenders.
The Big Show’s music begins to play as he makes his way down to the ring. He grabs a microphone and says that he has been doing a lot of thinking since last week. Because, last week, everyone found out who his opponents would be in this Saturday’s Triple Threat Match for the Heavyweight Title. Show says that he’s been thinking that now the Triple Threat Match has turned into a Handicap Match since he will be facing the current Tag Team Champions. He says it’s obvious that this match is going to be two-on-one; but he’s not out to complain about it. He’s the largest professional athlete in the world; a former Heavyweight Champion everywhere he’s ever worked; and he’s one hell of a pissed off beast who holds a grudge. Show says he has no problem taking on both Briscoe and The Esperanza by himself. And when he does so, there will be no denying that he is the most dominant force in wrestling.
As he finishes speaking and leaves the ring, JAY BRISCOE and THE ESPERANZA appear on-stage. They share words with Show before running down the ramp and attacking him! Show is able to push them off, keeping them at bay, until Briscoe gets behind and chop blocks his left knee, sending Show to the ground. From there, Briscoe and The Esperanza double-team Show until he is on the steel ramp. Briscoe stomps on Show’s ankle, causing him to scream out in pain. Briscoe grabs a chair from under the ring as PCW officials rush down to intervene. The Esperanza fights off the officials as Briscoe slams the chair down on Show’s left leg and ankle. Briscoe places Show’s ankle in the folded chair and stomps on it. The Big Show screams in pain as Briscoe stomps on his ankle again. Afterwards, Briscoe and The Esperanza walk up the ramp – to a chorus of boos – as the officials tend to The Big Show.
Commercial Break
Daniel Bryan vs. Carnage Carnage continued his winning ways tonight, albeit through illegal means. After dominating the match from the start, Carnage backed off of Bryan, who locked in the LeBell Lock. Carnage fought valiantly, finally reaching the ropes. After breaking the five-count, Bryan went back, but Carnage tossed Bryan through the ropes, using his trunks. While the referee started his 10-count, Carnage got to his feet and reached into his trunks, pulling out some sort of foreign object. As Bryan got back into the ring, Carnage feigned injury in the corner. When Bryan walked over to the corner, Carnage landed a right hand to his jaw, knocking Bryan down to the canvas. Carnage concealed his weapon and made the cover for the 1-2-3.
Carnage defeated Daniel Bryan by pinfall in 10:07. Rating: 3.75
Commercial Break Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow asks Melina about the conversation she had with Natalya last week. Melina says that she took what Natalya said to heart. She has spent as much time as possible since becoming number one contender to train and study as much as she can to be prepared for Saturday night. She knows she’s been overlooked by a lot of fans and people in the back, but she plans on going out and proving all of those people wrong at Mayhem.
Non-Title Match Bayley vs. © Natalya Just four days before her title defense at Mayhem, Natalya took on a much nastier version of Bayley tonight. Bayley seemed much more aggressive than usual, using the ring post and guardrail to try and wear down the Women’s Champion. Natalya fought back and tried to lock in the Sharpshooter, but Bayley kicked her off, causing Natalya to run into the referee! With the referee down, there was an all-out catfight in the center of the ring! Natalya ended up with the upper hand as the referee slowly got to his feet and hit a powerslam for the victory.
[Non-Title Match]: Natalya pinned Bayley after a powerslam in 8:14. Rating: 1.50

Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen standing backstage with PCW Commissioner Rex Butler. Butler says that, after the heinous attack at the hands of Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza, The Big Show was evaluated by the PCW medical staff. The evaluation revealed severe damage to Big Show’s ankle and lower leg. Due to the extent of his injuries, he is being taken to a nearby hospital for observation and, as of this time, has no timetable for a possible return. Butler says that he is going to make an announcement about the Mayhem main event when he has an update on Show’s condition.

PCW Tag Team Title Match Sheamus & Shinya Ishikawa vs. © Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza Earlier tonight, Briscoe and The Esperanza kicked off the show by attacking The Big Show, allegedly taking him out of their Triple Threat Match at Mayhem this Saturday night. With that destruction on their heads, they came to the ring to defend their Tag Team Titles against a team that had previously shown them a tough challenge earlier in their reign. Once again, the champs got a challenge from “The Celtic Warrior” and Ishikawa. This time around, however, Ishikawa was the one who came out swinging, giving the champs a run for their money. However, quickly, the champions took control, isolating Ishikawa and inflicting enough damage to take him out of the match. They then turned their attention to Sheamus, who was now fighting both men by himself. He fought valiantly, but again, the numbers game got the better of him, and the champs wore him down. The Esperanza finished the match, hitting a waistlock suplex for the1-2-3, to successfully defend the titles one more time.
After the match, Briscoe exited the ring and grabbed a steel chair, from under the ring, sliding it to The Esperanza before turning his attention to Ishikawa, who was laying against the barricade. Briscoe began attacking Ishikawa, incapacitating him for the time being. Inside the ring, The Esperanza attacked Sheamus with the steel chair, before putting his left arm inside it. PCW officials, once again, ran down to ringside; but before they could get inside the ring, The Esperanza stomped on the chair. Sheamus screamed out in pain as The Esperanza slid out of the ring. He and Briscoe grabbed their title belts and escaped through the crowd as the officials tended to Sheamus inside the ring.
[PCW Tag Team Title Match]: Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza defeated Sheamus & Shinya Ishikawa when Esperanza pinned Sheamus after a waistlock suplex in 10:55. Rating: 2.25 (Jay Briscoe & The Esperanza retained the PCW Tag Team Titles.)

Non-Title Match © Justin Gabriel vs. Austin Aries Four days away from defending his Television Title against Kenny King, Justin Gabriel faced off against Austin Aries, who was making his in-ring debut. Gabriel was looking for a much-needed win before his title defense, but he was facing Aries for the first time. Aries took control of the match after reverse a hurrancarana into a powerbomb, stopping the champion’s offense immediately. Aries went for the pinfall, but couldn’t put the champion away. Aries then climbed up to the top rope and attempted a 450 Splash, only to have Gabriel lift his knees! Both men laid on the canvas as the referee started his 10-count. Being the fresher man, Aries slowly got to his feet first, and connected with a vicious Discus Punch that buckled the champion’s knees. Aries made the cover [Non-Title Match]: Austin Aries pinned Justin Gabriel after the Discus Punch in 12:30. Rating: 3.25

PCW: Mayhem March 23, 2013 Mohegan Sun Arena – Uncasville, Connecticut Attendance: 8,018Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, where tonight, in a Triple Threat Match main event, the culmination of the month-long Mayhem Tournament comes to an end. With the loss of the Big Show, due to the heinous attack by Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza on Tuesday night, the third spot in tonight’s match is still vacant. However, that will change in tonight’s first match, as Commissioner Rex Butler announced on Friday, that there will be a Triple Threat Match to open the event. The winner of that match will earn himself the final entry into tonight’s main event and a shot at the Heavyweight Title. Triple Threat Match The Amazing Red vs. James Storm vs. Bad BonesThese three men looked ready for a fight as they came down the ramp tonight. Early on, Red and Bad Bones used a number of quick tags to stay fresh and keep the former champion, Storm, off his feet. However, Storm was able to fight back, after getting his balance back. Storm hammered Red with lefts and rights, before finally making a diving tag to Bad Bones. Bones, sensing that Red was close to being out of the match, connected with the Shadow Driver for the first elimination! After pushing Red out of the ring with his boot, Bones grabbed Storm and tossed him over the top rope, not giving him a lot of time to catch his breath. Bones worked over Storm, and tried putting him away numerous times, only to have Storm find a way to kick out! Frustrated, Bones tossed Storm out of the ring and began using the ringside area as a weapon, wearing Storm down. While still outside the ring, Bones motioned to the back and CARNAGE came out, carrying a lead pipe! As Carnage got to the ring, the referee stopped him, demanding that he go backstage. Bad Bones left Storm on the concrete and went to argue with the referee. This gave Storm time to get back to his feet, and as Bones turned around, Storm whipped him into the ring steps! Storm then started brawling with Carnage, which caused him to drop the pipe on the ground. Storm hit a DDT onto the steel ramp before getting back to his feet and picking up the lead pipe. As Bones got back to his feet, Storm hit him over the head with the pipe! Storm rolled Bones back into the ring and covered him for the 1-2-3. [Triple Threat Match]: James Storm defeated The Amazing Red and Bad Bones: X Bones beat Red via the Shadow Driver in 7:58. X J. Storm beat Bones via pinfall in 14:30. Rating: 3.25Backstage, HERNANDEZ introduces himself to Drew McIntyre. Hernandez says that Kazarian has stepped away for a little while and asked him to take his place. McIntyre asks why he should trust Hernandez. Hernandez says that not many people know that Kazarian helped him get better in the ring during their time together in Orlando. Hernandez says it would make him proud to fill in for his teacher. A recap is shown of Melina’s victory over Newling-sama to become number one contender. Women’s Title Match Melina vs. © NataylaFor the past two weeks, Melina has been learning as much as she can about Natalya and what she is able to do in the ring, in the hopes of winning the Women’s Title here tonight. That game plan evidently included attacking the champion before the bell rang, which is exactly what Melina did to start the match. The sneak attack gave Melina the advantage early on, but even with all her scouting, Natalya was able to retake control of the match. Natalya turned her attention to Melina’s lower half, looking to set up the Sharpshooter, but things got a little more eventful as BAYLEY made her way to ringside! Bayley tried tripping Natalya, which got the attention of the referee. It also gave Melina time to catch her breath, but in doing so, Melina turned her attention to Bayley, screaming at her to not ruin her chance at winning the title belt. However, this distraction allowed Natalya to hit a release German suplex for the victory! After the match, Bayley walked up the ramp as Natalya is seen shaking out her left arm, holding her elbow, grimacing in pain. [Women’s Title Match]: Natalya pinned Melina after a release German suplex in 7:04. Rating: 2.00 [Bayley interfered against Natalya.] (Natalya retained the PCW Women’s Title.)Backstage, Daniel Bryan tells Brooke Barlow that Carnage is one hell of a competitor, and on Tuesday night, he landed a solid punch that took Bryan out. But Bryan is a former Heavyweight Champion, who has learned to keep getting up and heading straight into the next fight, which is tonight, against Wade Barrett. Bryan says both men have been at the top of the mountain in the past, so it’s a matter of the best man winning tonight. In the locker room, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode laugh at the fact that Hernandez has come to the PCW in the hopes of avenging his trainer’s honor. Aries says he’s seen what Hernandez can do in the ring and wants McIntyre to run for the hills! Roode says that Hernandez has guts for coming here and wanting to fight, but says he’ll end up just like Kazarian did when they’re finished with him. Hernandez & Drew McIntyre vs. The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries & Bobby Roode)A lot of questions surrounded this match, as Hernandez was diving right into the middle of a situation that he had never been a part of. However, he started things off for his team tonight, and quickly became the victim of double teams by Aries and Roode. Hernandez took the attacks, but eventually found a break and was able to make the tag to McIntyre, who slowed things down with a mat-based offense. McIntyre held control of the match until Roode broke up a pinfall attempt and tossed McIntyre out of the ring. On the outside, Roode worked over McIntyre’s lower back, even bodyslamming him onto the concrete floor! Back inside the ring Aries and Roode kept McIntyre isolated in their corner, wearing him down with quick tags, keeping each other fresh. After being the victim of their offense for a number of minutes, McIntyre was able to get a quick shot on Roode before jumping across the canvas to make the tag! Hernandez entered and cleared the ring, focusing on Roode who was the legal man. Hernandez whipped Roode into the ropes, where Aries made a blind tag. Hernandez hit the Dominator on Roode, but when he stood back up, Aries connected with a Superkick that caught him right on the jaw! Aries made the cover for the 1-2-3. The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries & Bobby Roode) defeated Hernandez & Drew McIntyre when Aries pinned Hernandez after a superkick in 14:18. Rating: 2.50In an interview with Brooke Barlow, Kenny King says that Justin Gabriel is the worst example of a champion that the PCW has ever seen. King say that Gabriel should be ashamed of his showing against Austin Aries on Tuesday night, and that the TV Title is as good as his tonight! Backstage, Wade Barrett says that he hasn’t been in the ring for a few weeks, and that’s okay. Watching Daniel Bryan get beaten on Tuesday night reminded him that anything can happen inside a wrestling ring. Barrett does say, however, that he agrees with Bryan: the best man will win tonight, but he might need a victory more. Daniel Bryan vs. Wade BarrettDaniel Bryan and Wade Barrett set out to prove who the better man was in this match-up. Both men were coming off loses, Bryan’s more recently. But Barrett was hoping to overcome his loss to Jay Briscoe in the first round of the Mayhem tournament. The referee took a hard clothesline as Bryan ducked Barrett’s attempt, sending him to the canvas. Bryan clamped on the LeBell Lock in the center of the ring. Barrett began tapping, but the referee was slowly getting to his feet. Then Barrett got some unexpected help from DREW MCINTYRE, who entered the ring and landed a stiff boot to the side of Bryan’s head. This allowed Barrett time to recover before hitting the Wasteland. As he made the cover, the groggy referee counted the 1-2-3. Wade Barrett pinned Daniel Bryan with the Wasteland in 10:07. Rating: 2.75 [Drew McIntyre interfered against Daniel Bryan.]Backstage, TV Champion Justin Gabriel says that he hasn’t been able to sleep since Tuesday Night. He says that he’s not going to stand around and make excuses for what happened. Austin Aries caught him with a punch that knocked him out, simple as that. He says it’s a bit funny though, that Kenny King is calling a four-time champion a “bad example”, when King has yet to carry the title at all. Tonight, Gabriel says he’ll show King what a “bad example” can do. Alisha Hicks is seen with the Tag Team Champions, Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza. Briscoe says that everyone is up in arms about them taking out The Big Show and Sheamus Tuesday night. Briscoe explains why what they did is sound planning. Take out the biggest guy in the place and make it easier to get what you want. However, James Storm is taking The Big Show’s place. Briscoe says that Storm is no stranger to being a Heavyweight Champion, and that each of them knows what they’re getting into. Briscoe promises a brutal fight and that one of them – he or The Esperanza – will walk out of the ring with the title around his waist. Television Title Match Kenny King vs. © Justin GabrielKing didn’t wait long before making his intentions known, attacking Gabriel a week after he won the TV Title. The physical attacks turned personal tonight, as King called Gabriel a “bad example” of a champion after his loss last Tuesday night. Gabriel, using those comments as fuel, came out firing when the match started. However, Gabriel’s anger started taking over, and mistakes began being made that King used to counter, taking control of the match. Sensing that his title could be slipping from his grasp, Gabriel refocused and fought back, looking to put King away until a figure in a blue and red body suit and mask slid from under the ring, holding a steel chair. King reversed an Irish whip, sending Gabriel into the ropes, and the figure cracked him on the back with the chair! This allowed King to hit The Coronation for the shocking victory! After the match, King was awarded the TV Title as the masked man looked on. After King left the ring, the masked man tossed the chair into the ring before entering himself. He began to hit Gabriel over the back, time and time again, until the chair started to bend. Laying the chair on the canvas, the masked man picked up Gabriel and DDT’d him onto the chair! Standing over Gabriel, the masked man tilted his head and put his hand up to it, in the shape of a gun. Suddenly, the lights go out and when they return, the masked man is gone. [Television Title Match]: Kenny King pinned Justin Gabriel with the Coronation in 10:26. Rating: 2.50
Backstage, James Storm is seen with Alisha Hicks. Storm says that The Amazing Red and Bad Bones gave him one hell of a fight, but he’s sorry about their damn luck because he’s the one standing tall. He says that he’s now the only person in the main event that has ever held the Heavyweight Title, but he knows that he has to take on two men that know each other very well. Just as The Big Show said on Tuesday night, this match is a Handicap Match whether Commissioner Butler likes it or not. But, Storm believes that he has what it takes to walk out with the Heavyweight Title for the second time. A preview for the up-coming pay-per-view event “Divide & Conquer” is shown. “Divide & Conquer” will be held from the campus of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff, on April 20th! Triple Threat Match for the vacant Heavyweight Title James Storm vs. Jay Briscoe vs. The EsperanzaFor the last month, 16 PCW superstars had been vying for the chance to do battle for the Heavyweight Title that was vacated back in mid-February. A month-long tournament was held to determine who those final four competitors would be. What was scheduled to be a Fatal Four Way Match was turned into a Triple Threat after the fourth spot became empty due to a draw. The third spot was made empty after Briscoe and The Esperanza severely attacked The Big Show, taking him out of the match and possibly sidelining his career. Instead of just allowing the Tag Team Champions battle it out for the vacant title, a Triple Threat Match was held between three men that had been eliminated early on in the tournament. James Storm came out victorious earlier tonight and found himself in a bad place. Briscoe and The Esperanza would only tag each other in, not allowing Storm to get any rest. This tactic worked for the first 10 minutes of the match, until RODERICK STRONG of Ring of Honor appeared on-stage. He came down the ramp and started sharing words with Briscoe. Distracted by Strong at ringside, Briscoe fell victim to an inside cradle by Storm for the first elimination. After a minute rest period, the match continued, and it appeared that Storm had gotten a second wind. He and The Esperanza would trade offense, with neither man really getting the upper hand. However, Storm’s temper started getting the better of him, as on multiple occasions, he put his hands on the official and took his hands off his opponent. The Esperanza took full advantage of those instances, wearing Storm down, but not enough to secure a victory. As the match continued, a commotion started in the audience. Inside the ring, Storm – who had taken control of the match – set up for the Last Call, when JON RYAN hopped over the barricade by the announcers’ desk. He snatched the Heavyweight Title from the time-keeper and slid into the ring, cracking the title into the back of Storm’s head! Ryan walked up the ramp and watched as The Esperanza slowly picked up Storm and hit a legsweep for the stunning 1-2-3! [Triple Threat Match for vacant Heavyweight Title]: The Esperanza defeated James Storm & Jay Briscoe: X J. Storm beat J. Briscoe via inside cradle in 14:02. X Esperanza beat J. Storm via a legsweep in 24:24. Rating: 4.25 (The Esperanza won the Heavyweight Title.)Card rating: 3.00

PCW Wrestling March 26, 2013 Webster Bank Arena – Bridgeport, Connecticut Attendance: 8,400
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to Bridgeport, as we begin to explore the aftermath of what went down at Mayhem last Saturday night. Jay Briscoe and The Esperanza appear on-stage, interrupting the commentary. Briscoe is seen with the PCW Tag Team Title over his shoulder. The Esperanza has his Tag Team Title around his waist and carries the PCW Heavyweight Title over his shoulder. The duo makes their way to the ring as the crowd boos them.
Inside the ring, Briscoe says that he’s incredibly happy for his partner, but wants to take a moment to comment on what happened at Mayhem. Briscoe calls out Roderick Strong so they can get to the bottom of things, since Strong cost him the Heavyweight Title. Briscoe and The Esperanza wait for a few moments before Briscoe once against demands Strong come to the ring. Instead, Commissioner Butler comes onstage to inform Briscoe that Strong is not at the arena tonight, so they will have to settle their differences at another time. Butler also announces that, since The Esperanza is now a double champion, he must decide which title he wishes to keep. Briscoe turns and looks at his partner as the crowd starts to get louder with anticipation. The Esperanza looks at Briscoe before leaving the ring. He walks up the ramp and hands his Tag Team Title belt to Butler. Butler than announces that tonight’s main event will be between the newly-crowned Heavyweight Champion… and Jay Briscoe!
Commercial Break
Backstage, Brooke Barlow is seen with Bayley, asking why she interfered against Natalya on Saturday night. Bayley restates that she is tired of being overlooked. She knows she’s good in the ring, but she hasn’t been getting the breaks she needs. She says she has requested a rematch with Natalya tonight, and Commissioner Butler as granted it.
Jack Swagger (0-0-0) vs. Shinya Ishikawa (0-0-0) Swagger picked up a nice victory tonight as he was able to lock in and secure the Ankle Lock. However, Ishikawa should be commended for not tapping out, instead fighting to get out of the hold until the pain became too much and he passed out.
Jack Swagger made Shinya Ishikawa pass out to the Ankle Lock in 9:35. Rating: 2.25
Commercial Break
Returning from the break, Commissioner Butler is seen standing alone inside his office. Butler announces that, due to the Tag Team Titles being vacated earlier tonight, there will be a four-team Round Robin Tournament to determine who will receive the vacant belts and be named the new Tag Team Champions. The first match will be held tonight.
Backstage, Brooke Barlow tries to speak with the masked man who attacked Justin Gabriel at Mayhem. When asked his name, the figure puts his hand to his head in the shape of a gun and tilts his head. Stunned, Brooke is speechless, and the masked man walks away.
Non-Title Match Bayley (0-0-0) vs. © Natalya (0-0-0) Bayley is shown in the ring, waiting for her chance for some sort of redemption. A victory over the Champion in a non-title match would be huge for the young up-start. However, Natalya appeared on-stage with her arm in a sling. She says that, thanks to Bayley’s selfish little stunt on Saturday night, she injured her elbow and can’t compete for a week or two. Natalya says that she has tried to be nice to every other woman in the back but knows that there’s always one that has an axe to grind. It looks like that one is Bayley. She says that Bayley tried to screw Natalya out of her title on Saturday but ended up screwing herself out of a match tonight. Natalya says, if Bayley wants back in the ring with her so bad, she’ll gladly make her tap out when her elbow is healed.
Natalya leaves the stage as Bayley fumes inside the ring.

Round Robin Tournament The Oberhausen Terror Corps (0-0-0) vs. The Dirty Heels (0-0-0) Just three nights after defeating Drew McIntyre and the debuting Hernandez, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode squared off against Bad Bones and Carnage in the first match of the Tag Team Title Round Robin Tournament. A win would give either team a huge advantage moving forward in the tournament, as the winners will receive the vacated Tag Team Titles. The German duo have been slumping lately, but they gave The Dirty Heels one hell of a challenge tonight. Unfortunately, a superkick by Arie caught Carnage right on the chin for the 1-2-3.
Austin Aries & Bobby Roode defeated Bad Bones & Carnage when Aries pinned Carnage after a superkick in 12:14. Rating: 3.50
Commercial Break
In a recorded video, Roderick Strong is sitting in the driver’s seat of a car, looking into the camera. Strong starts off by congratulating The Esperanza on winning the Heavyweight Title Saturday night. He says he’s sorry he couldn’t be at the show tonight because he really wanted to help celebrate, but he had other business that needTeed to be taken care of. Strong knows Jay Briscoe is pissed at him for costing Briscoe the Heavyweight Title. But he says that Briscoe will no longer care about that title after he sees what Strong has in store for him. Strong can be heard laughing as he turns the camera to show the driveway of a home. The outside lights are on, illuminating the darkness around the structure. The camera then pans over to the mailbox where the name BRISCOE can be seen on the outside. The laughter stops as the camera turns off.
Back live, in the arena, a very upset Jay Briscoe is approached by Alisha Hicks, who asks how he is feeling about facing his tag team partner in tonight’s main event. Briscoe turns around, fuming, and takes a minute to compose himself. Finally, he says that he and The Esperanza are professionals and it was only a matter of time before they had to face each other. Briscoe says he’s confident this match won’t damage their partnership. He says when this match is over, win or lose, there is some serious business to take care of with Roderick Strong.
Television Title Match Justin Gabriel (0-0-0) vs. © Kenny King (0-0-0) Three days after a surprise attacker cost Justin Gabriel the Television Title at Mayhem, Commissioner Butler granted Gabriel to use his rematch clause tonight. It appears, however, that another match may be in the works, as both men resorting to brawling outside the ring. Neither man heeded the referee’s 10-count, resulting in both men getting counted out!
After the match, both men continued to brawl around the ringside area. Other referees rushed down to the scene, eventually breaking up the two men as the crowd pleaded for their fight to continue. As both men are separated, the show goes to commercials.
Television Title Match: Kenny King and Justin Gabriel battled to a double countout in 9:10. Rating: 2.00 (Kenny King retained the PCW Television Title.)
Commercial Break
A preview for the next PCW special event, “Divide & Conquer” is shown. “Divide & Conquer” will be LIVE Flagstaff, Arizona on April 20th!
Non-Title Match Jay Briscoe vs. © The Esperanza On Saturday night, The Esperanza walked away as the new Heavyweight Champion after defeating his tag team partner, Briscoe, and James Storm in a Triple Threat Match at Mayhem. Tonight, Commissioner Butler announced that the now-former Tag Team Champions would square off one-on-one in a non-title match. The tension was very high as there was no way of telling how this match would affect the friendship between Briscoe and The Esperanza. Add on the stress of the situation that Briscoe was going through with newcomer Roderick Strong, and tonight’s main event was quite combustible! These two men fought each other hard, not letting their partnership get in the way of a good match. Early on, it looks like Briscoe would pick up a victory, but the new Champion came back, bringing things to the outside, hoping to take back the advantage for good. But after whipping The Esperanza knee-first into the ring steps, Briscoe focused his attack on the legs. Back in the ring, Briscoe connected with the J-Driller, but The Esperanza was able to barely kick out. Briscoe kept up the offense, eventually hitting a vertical facebuster for the 1-2-3.
Non-Title Match: Jay Briscoe pinned The Esperanza after a vertical facebuster in 12:56. Rating: 4.25

PCW Wrestling April 2, 2013 Holon Toto Hall – Holon, Israel Attendance: 3,834
Alfred Pressley and James Westerfield welcome everyone to the city of Holon, Israel. Pressley says that everyone in the HWL and PCW warmly thanks the people of Tel Aviv and Holon for welcoming them and allowing them to entertain, even for 48 hours. It is announced that Roderick Strong will be making his in-ring debut tonight against James Storm.
Storm’s music begins to play as he walks down to the ring in street clothes, a bottle of beer in his hand. Storm grabs a microphone and says that he’s had a lot to think about since last week. And after sitting around his property in Tennessee, doing a lot of thinking – and a lot of drinking – he decided there’s only one thing for him to do tonight. Storm says he is out here tonight to officially challenge The Esperanza for the Heavyweight Title at Divide & Conquer. He says he damn wall knows he’d be Heavyweight Champion if it weren’t for that son of a bitch, Jon Ryan. Storm says that he will wait out in the ring for The Esperanza to accept his challenge…
Instead of the Heavyweight Champion, Storm is greeted by JAY BRISCOE, who is grinning as he walks on-stage. Briscoe says it’s admirable that Storm came out to the ring, thinking he was owed a title shot, but really all Storm is doing is bitching because he lost at Mayhem. Briscoe says if anyone should be getting a title shot against The Esperanza, it should be the man who beat him clean in the middle of the ring last week – him. Briscoe asks how someone who lost his last match can think he has a better chance at getting a title opportunity rather than someone who won their last match, especially against the champion. He asks Storm how many bottles he’s had tonight, pissing Storm off. Storm leaves the ring, making his way up the ramp, but is stopped as Commissioner Rex Butler appears on-stage, putting himself between both men…
Butler says that both men have a valid claim for being the number one contender, which visibly upsets Briscoe. Butler tells him that, if he wants a shot at this former tag partner for the title, all he has to do is beat Storm next week. Briscoe looks at Storm and smiles. Emotionless, Storm tells Briscoe he’s sorry ‘bout his damn luck before pushing through both men and walking backstage.

Rhett Titus (0-0) vs. Jack Swagger (1-0) A good opening match saw Jack Swagger pick up the submission victory, using the Ankle Lock to defeat Rhett Titus. The win moves Swagger to 2-0 under the new rankings system. The loss for Titus drops him down to 0-1.

Returning from the break, a video clip from last week is shown. It shows Bayley trashing the backstage area after not getting her chance to face Natalya, due to the Women’s Champion elbow injury. As the video ends, Brooke Barlow is seen with Natalya, and asks who should be her perspective opponent at Divide & Conquer. Natalya says she understands Bayley’s frustration from last week; but as champion, she’s not going to put her reign in jeopardy when she doesn’t have to. Regarding her possible challenger at the pay-per-view, Natalya says that every woman on the roster could be a possible option; it’s just a matter of which one rises to the top.
Nikki Bella (0-0) vs. Newling-sama (0-0) The women of the PCW were put on notice just moments before this match that every one of them could be a possible opponent for Natalya at Divide & Conquer. Nikki Bella and Newling-sama were the first two to prove their worthiness, tonight. However, it seemed like Newling-sama seemed more interested in choking Nikki out than actually winning the match. Nikki fought back and found that the third Bella Buster was the charm for her, as she picked up the victory.
Nikki Bella pinned Newling-sama with the Bella Buster in 8:26. Rating -0.75

Returning from the break, a screen is shown of the Tag Team Round Robin Standings. Alfred Pressley says that Austin Aries and Bobby Roode are currently sitting in first place with two points after defeating The Oberhaussen Terror Corp last week. He then announces that the team of Daniel Bryan and Jack Swagger will be in action next week.
Round Robin Tournament Match Drew McIntyre & Justin Gabriel (0-0) vs. The Dirty Heels (1-0) The Dirty Heels were coming off an impressive victory last week, putting them atop the Round Robin Standings for the vacant Tag Team Titles. McIntyre and Gabriel, who won the previous time they teamed up, were looking to even the score atop the standings with a victory tonight. However, after a brutal DDT from the top rope, McIntyre looked out on his feet for the duration of the match. At the end of the match, as Roode and Gabriel were brawling outside the ring, Aries took advantage of the situation, stomping his foot onto McIntyre’s skull, slamming it into the canvas! Aries picked him up and tossed him over the top rope, standing in the corner as the referee counted McIntyre out.
The Dirty Heels (Austin Aries & Bobby Roode) defeated Drew McIntyre & Justin Gabriel when Aries defeated D. McIntyre by countout in 8:18. Rating: 2.25

Returning from the break, Brooke Barlow is seen with Commission Rex Butler. Butler announces that, due to the result of the Television Title Match last week, he is signing a rematch for the Divide & Conquer pay-per-view. However, this match will be contested under the Falls Count Anywhere rule.
James Storm (0-0) vs. Roderick Strong (0-0) Roderick Strong made quite the debut at the Mayhem pay-per-view, by costing Jay Briscoe the Heavyweight Title. Tonight, he stepped into the ring with the man he helped pin Briscoe, James Storm. Storm who, at the start of the show, was told he would be facing Briscoe in a number one contenders’ match next week, seemed to be looking ahead to that match. That would prove to be his downfall as Strong locked his arms and connected with a double underhook backbreaker for the victory.
