Loved how the crowd still needs minimal prompting to chant "You screwed Bret" at HBK.
At the same time Val Venis is on TNA we have a match that includes Mark Henry on WWE.

Yeah, he's been the DX Mascot for a couple of weeks now.
REALLY glad they didn't have Bret "screw" DX, especially after that intro. Would have really cheapened the moment.
(As I said on the other fourms: Love the new Hart theme)
Oh, and Jericho's imitation of Hogan during the match was a nice touch.

Is it just me or was that an extremely disappointing and anticlimatic ending to RAW

Wham, Bam, Vince McMahon.
How'd he do it?
LIKE A BOSS!!!
But yeah that was anti-climatic.

I liked it because the "confrontation" was a good, old fashioned semi-shoot the likes the WWE hasn't seen since the Attitude era (Which bookmarked the earlier HBK/Hart "confrontation"), Stu's FINALLY getting in the Hall, and the cheap shot leads to... Whatever Hart's angle is leading to WM.
It had all the Thank You We Love You that Flair's good bye had, while still making McMahon a heel. Hart can still sell with the best of them.

The theory behind the ending was good and sound, just the execution of it is what felt extremely flat to me.
I should've felt like that ending was a big deal, but it just left me feeling "eh."

I think it at least lays a foundation. The ending itself didn't knock it out of the park, but it gives them somewhere to go. Vince thinks he got the better of Bret and that it's done with. He'll be in for a big surprise when he finds out that it's not.
It wasn't a huge OMG ending, but I like the tracks that have been laid.

Right, it wasn't an OMG ending, but it leads to an OMG something else.

Stu's FINALLY getting in the Hall I was going to question whether Stu belongs in the WWE Hall of Fame (pro wrestling HoF? Definitely. WWE? Eh.), but looking at everyone they have inducted it seems the WWE Hall of Fame is really more like a general wrestling hall of fame where inductees are chosen by the WWE. Does the WWE Hall of Fame have a physical location or has there been any talk of opening one? Of course, it would probably present a rather warped view of things, given WWE's love of revisionist history...

...I can see Stu in a WWE Hall of Fame as a trainer considering the amount of wrestlers to come out of the dungeon and have success in the WWE(F)...

Not to mention the fact he ran the original Stampede Wrestling (which, if I'm not mistaken, the WWF ended up buying out)... Kinda makes him a WWE guy........ Right?

I thought it has been pretty common knowledge for awhile that the WWE Hall of Fame isn't strictly for WWE personalities only.

Yeah, it's just a matter of whether WWE recognizes that you existed or if you managed to make a positive contribution to the business without them.

Yes, or if you can get over your lifetime of bitterness and accept the invitation.
