I've just come home from wrestling at an NWF show (that's Norwegian Wrestling Federation), and I've set a new record for wrestling in front of small crowds. I think there was perhaps 30 people there, and if we subtract our own crew and the people who were running the place, there were perhaps 15. Really awkward though, but the show must go on

That sucks, but I may have you beat. I've done a standup show for one person before. ONE. And it was the bartender. Glad to see you're still wrestling and such.

What? One person? That's impossible to beat though.. Yeah, it was horrible. He didn't think I was very funny either. How big is the wrestling scene there? How many indies can it support?

It has to be hard to quietly call spots when there are only 15 people in attendance.

We have only one promotion, and we're doing maybe 10 shows a year. The wrestler pool is also limited, about 14 active wrestlers and a couple semi-active. On the other hand, this means we all know each other quite well since we train together regularly. We also bring in some guys from Denmark and England sometimes. Last month we also hosted the tournament for the European Cruiserweight Title. There's an umbrella organization called UEWA (Unified European Wrestling Alliance) consisting of several member promotions throughout Europe, and we got the honor of organizing the tournament. Even though we're quite small, we actually have three wrestlers who've been to Japan! Josh: I don't think I called any spots during the match, but yeah, that could've been hard. Only thing I remember is telling the inexperienced ref to start doing a 10-count when all three of us (it was a triple threat) were down after your standard finisher-flurry spot.
