I have issues importing wrestler files, whether it's from this site or TNM UK.
It works for some, for the majority, I unzip the file then put it on the exports file, but when I go to try to import them to my TNM7 game, it just doesn't apeear in the list.
If someone can tell me exactly how to import wrestler files correctly, maybe I can find out what I've been doing wrong.
Thanks in advance,
Pat

This may be a stupid question, but are you sure you're always unzipping the files into the correct folder? I only ask because I used to do that ALL THE TIME and wonder why I couldn't find the wrestlers.

It could be if I'm not putting them at the right spot. (Is it truly in the Exports file or in another one?)

The EXPORTS sub-folder in your TNM folder is the default place that TNM will look if you have exports, but you should be able to browse elsewhere from there.
Do you know what the file extension is for the ones you're not seeing appear?

I'm not entirely sure then. I've never had any real problems with the exports, whether they're the .tnm files or the no extension files.

I would try changing them to .TNM and see if that helps, though I doubt it will.
Can you see any files - either in Export folder or if you browse to another folder within the Import Wrestlers window of TNM?
I'm in Vista and if I browse to another folder I can see all the files - ZIPs, DLLs, EXEs - even though I wouldn't be able to open them in TNM.

I'm pretty sure that someone here will show me the light. Been playing TNM for the last couple of months. I am simulating cards for a different kind of e-fed (We use wrestlers that existed or still exist) and I need some files to get the new guys that have entered in the roster. Which is why I posted here.

Now, bear me out a little, my first language is French, so I didn't understand everything you said. Important things to know: I'm using Windows 7, don't know if it does anything. I've also tried to change files to .tnm but it does not work in my case.

The first part, I am unsure. How can we find out which version is it? For the second part, I run TNM normally, didn't need DOSBox. Hope that can help.

The only thing that makes any sene to me is that they being unzipped into a different folder. Can you find out which folder you are downloading them to and then which folder you are unzipping them into?

For the second part, I usually unzip them to the exports file.

Yeah, I have no idea.
If you are opening the file, extracting to C:\TNM7\Exports then opening up TNM, going to Import, and it's showing you the directory of C:\TNM7\Exports ... I don't have a clue...
Maybe try saving a Word document to that folder and see if it pops up in TNM.
Liller is the TNM mastermind, hopefully he comes up with a solution.

I've tried something just now, I deleted every single export files I had on both the TNM folder and the export file. I've then did what I usually do, with 2 different files, one being WWE 2004 and the other being the NXT Season 1 file. The first did show up in the export folder after running TNM, the other didn't. I've tried putting the .tnm on the second since the first worked with it, unfortunately, no change. I don't have word, I work with Openoffice. I can hope it gets resolved, I am frustrated about not being able to make some exports work.

I would definitely get DOSbox (it's free) and see if running TNM via DOSbox that solves the problem.

I'll try it at some point. Created the exports I needed for the time being.
