USWA Challenge Taped: 8/11/2003 Aired: 8/16/2003 Hosts: Scott Hudson and Dave Brown
Alex Shelley pinned Chad Austin with the Shell Shock in 0:18:10.Rating: *** 1/2
Alex Shelley continues to get featured on television and has been making the most of it. Tonight he scores another victory. After the matchup USWA President, Bill Dundee, came out to tell Alex Shelley that he has signed him to a match at Global Warfare, for a chance to really show the world if he is ready for the next level. When Shelley asks Dundee who he has in mind, Dundee announced that mexican legend Juventud Guerrera will make his USWA debut in a one on one X-division match against Shelley. Alex explained to Dundee that it doesn't matter who he puts in his way, and that Guerrera is going to be humiliated at the PPV.
Low-Ki pinned King Fale with the Ki Crusher in 0:02:46.Rating: *** [Trinity interfered against Low-Ki.]
Low-Ki makes short with out of King Fale, and even fends off interference from his former manager Trinity. Low-Ki joined Scott Hudson for a few brief words after the match to discuss his 15 minute draw with Prince Devitt on Velocity last week. Ki admits that Devitt is a competitor to look out for in the USWA, and he wouldn't mind getting a second chance at him next week here on Challenge. Bill Dundee comes out and told Low-Ki that the entire USWA fanbase has been looking forward to a rematch with those two. Next week we are going to have that rematch. It will feature a 30 minute time limit so we can have plenty of time to find out who is the better man.
Island Boys comment on their upcoming cage match and title shot.
Dave Brown welcomes the fans back from break and tells them that the Tag Team division here in the USWA has been a highlight of the promotion for the past couple months. The new team of the Bad Street Boys, which we will see in action later tonight, have been racking up victories. Americas Most Wanted have returned to the USWA. The Island Boys have proven they are the best brawling tag team in all of professional wrestling. And Bad Intentions were showcased by Steve Corino, and didn't take long to become the champions. Dave introduces the number one contenders, the Island Boys......
OG Ekmo and Kimo come to the ring and claim they are the biggest team to ever set foot in the USWA. The champions, Bad Intentions know exactly what they are getting into when they put those titles on the line. Ekmo claims in Detroit Michigan at the G1 opening night, he saw fear in the eyes of Karl Anderson when he knew those belts were slipping away, only to be saved by Americas Most Wanted. Kimo tells Bad Intentions that they got away with the titles that night, but now things have changed. Kimo claims that in one week when they get Americas Most Wanted in the cage match, they are going to finish off Americas Most Wanted, and guarantee they won't be a factor during the match at Global Warfare.
Dave Brown says that the challengers seem to be ready for an exciting two weeks ahead of them, as they attempt to win their first ever USWA tag team titles.
The Island Boys (OG Ekmo and Kimo) defeated The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) when Kimo pinned V. Kozlov after a powerslam in 0:07:42. Kimo suffered a back injury. He will be out for approximately 2 cards. Rating: ** 1/2
The Island Boys backed up their words tonight in the ring with a victory over The New Bolsheviks. If the Boys can get through the cage match next week, we could be on the verge of crowning new USWA tag team champions in Manhattan, NY.
Dean Malenko defeated Petey Williams when Petey Williams passed out in the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:04:33. Rating: ** 1/2 [Rey Bucanero interfered against Dean Malenko]
Rey Bucanero attempted to extract some revenge on Malenko for costing him a match on Challenge last week. Dean was able to fend off Bucanero and get a pinfall victory, which just upset Rey even more. Bucanero guaranteed a victory at Global Warfare as he headed to the dressing room from ringside.
Doug Williams is challenged to a match by Steve Bradley.
Scott Hudson brings out Doug Williams who has asked for the time to address his future with the USWA. Williams comes out to a moderate reaction from the crowd.
Williams explains that he is man enough to admit defeat, and last week he was pinned and took an ass kicking by Harry Smith. Williams explains that he isn't here to challenge Smith to another match, because he knows that he has a big one coming up in just a few weeks. What he is out here to say, is that he won't let the loss to Harry derail his future plans to be a sucessful wrestler here in the USWA.
Scott Hudson tells Williams that he has the right attitude, and that the USWA has pleny of competition in the heavyweight division.
[Out from backstage comes Steve Bradley to a nice ovation.]
Bradley comes out and shakes Doug Williams hand. Steve says that he knows Williams is a respected international star. Bradley says that they both have a lot in common because the USWA has asked Bradley to step away from the X-Division and test his luck in the ring with the heavyweights. Bradley admits not having much experience, but has already been placed in a match with Jun Akiyama tonight on Velocity, but has come out here to request that Williams set up to the plate and take him on next week on Challenge.
Williams ponders the match, while Hudson explains that it sounds like a great idea for two guys trying to find their way in a new division. Doug then says that in the spirit of friendly competition, he would agree to the match right here next week!
Hudson tells the fans they heard it here first. Doug Williams vs Steve Bradley, and we also have that 30 minute time limit between Low-Ki and Prince Devitt. If you're into seeing some of the best pro wrestling on television, you won't want to miss next weeks show.
The Bad Street Boys (Christian York and Joey Matthews) defeated Trent Acid and Insane Dragon when J. Matthews pinned I. Dragon with the Future Shock in 0:08:54. Rating: ** 3/4
Daziee Haze made it a point to head to the announcers area after her team got the victory to promote the fact that her team is still undefeated in the USWA. Dave Brown explained that yes, they have been impressive as they have had the opportunity to showcase their skills on TV, but they still haven't had the opportunity to take on some of the top names in the company. Daziee Haze asks what exactly she has to do to get these guys in a featured match? Dave Brown tells her that he doesn't have the answers and she should talk to the USWA President. As Haze continues to argue her case, Dave tells the fans we need to take a quick commercial break before out main event.
Two-out-of-three-Falls MatchKonnan beat Latin Lover 2 falls to 0: x Konnan beat L. Lover via the Tequila Sunrise in 0:09:47 x Konnan beat L. Lover via the Tequila Sunrise in 0:13:39 Rating: ****
Latin Lover was given an opportunity to take on his bitter rival Konnan, but he took the loss in this Mexican style 2/3 falls match. Konnan is just way too powerful for Lover to compete with, but one thing is certain, he has the heart of a lion. After Konnan hit his second Tequila Sunrise, Lover was knocked out in the middle of the ring. Senior official Bill Rush made the call to end the match, giving Konnan the victory. Medical staff attended to Latin Lover as Konnan left the ringside area as the winner of our Main Event.

I wanted to throw out my current roster since I usually don't have it on here.
I use the brand mapping to divide up my guys to Heavyweight, X Division, or Tag Team Division.
Obviously my X-Division is a tad slim right now, which is why Collyer is getting a title shot, but I am trying to keep my roster size small, while still doing divisions. It's not easy.
In my TV write ups, I use a lot of non contract guys. I use the old shift, tilde, arrow over maneuver to bring guys in. Usually as jobbers. This gives me a chance to look at new guys, or use them as jobbers but not mess with my contracted roster.
Heavyweight CM Punk...................................... (21 cards remain on contract). Konnan....................................... (33 cards remain on contract). Low-Ki....................................... ( 3 cards remain on contract). Raven........................................ (37 cards remain on contract). Latin Lover.................................. (30 cards remain on contract). Doug Williams................................ ( 3 cards remain on contract). Jun Akiyama.................................. (30 cards remain on contract). Harry Smith.................................. ( 5 cards remain on contract). Chad Collyer................................. ( 5 cards remain on contract). Steve Bradley................................ ( 4 cards remain on contract). Vampiro...................................... (33 cards remain on contract). Ahmed Johnson............................ (39 cards remain on contract). Dean Malenko................................. (15 cards remain on contract). Taz.......................................... (43 cards remain on contract). King Fale.................................... (14 cards remain on contract). Rey Bucanero................................. ( 8 cards remain on contract). Brian Christopher............................ ( 7 cards remain on contract).
X-Division Christopher Daniels....................... (10 cards remain on contract). Alex Shelley................................. (21 cards remain on contract). Bobby Fish................................... (12 cards remain on contract). Juventud Guerrera............................ ( 7 cards remain on contract). Prince Devitt................................ (11 cards remain on contract).
Tag Team Division Chris Harris................................. (23 cards remain on contract). James Storm.................................. (23 cards remain on contract).
Christian York............................... (10 cards remain on contract). Joey Matthews................................ (10 cards remain on contract).
OG Ekmo...................................... (15 cards remain on contract). Kimo will be out for 2 more cards. (15 cards remain on contract).

Must mention how much I loved the Ahmed sitdown interview as well. Those segments are hard to translate well in a TNM circuit, but you did a fantastic job. I'm really looking forward to Taz/Ahmed, which is a sentence I never thought I'd write.

I also use the tilde key to bring in new workers now that TNAW has turned into a indy circuit. Makes sense to bring in some of the local talent in the areas I'm visiting.
What is the advantages of using the brand mapping? I only have singles and tag ranks myself. Is it only for rankings?

Remember when in real life ROH had the "PURE" title? Well it wasn't a weight limit restriction as it was more of a wrestling style. So, if you have a title like the X-Division championship, you can use the brand mapping to add only your technical wrestlers to the division. When you highlight the title within the plugin, it will give you rankings of only the guys that are mapped to that title.
That is what I like the most about it. I have been thinking of the future of the USWA and I know the titles are going to be going through a change eventually, I don't want to give anything away in storyline, but it will change by the end of the year.
I have been thinking of changing the X-Division title to a Jr. Heavyweight title, but haven't really pulled the trigger yet. I want to play out the 2003 season and then see what changes I'll incorporate in 2004.

USWA Velocity Chicago, IL Taped: August 11th, 2003 Airs: August 16th, 2003 Hosts: Lance Russell and Corey Maclin
Juventud Guerrera pinned Alex Koslov after a running power bomb in 0:06:00.Rating: *** 1/2
The USWA debut of Juventud Guerrera was as impressive as we all thought it would be. Guerrera won his first X-Division match after executing the running powerbomb onto Alex Koslov. Bill Dundee has signed Guerrera to a USWA contract to put him up against a rising star in Alex Shelley. At Global Warfare, we will see those two face off one on one!
Chad Collyer defeated King Fale in 0:05:06. Rating: ** 3/4
Chad Collyer takes a victory over King Fale and then mentions to Lance Russell that his actions in the ring speak volumes about what kind of shape he is in as he heads into a match against Bobby Fish. At this point Frank Morell comes out to say a few things to Bobby Fish's next opponent.
Frank Morell shows off his training video with Bobby Fish.
After Collyer won his match, he heads over to Lance Russell and Corey Maclin. Frank Morell makes his way down and says he has exclusive footage from the champion that Chad Collyer might want to see.
As the production team plays the video we see Frank Morell dressed in a ridiculous jump suit giving Bobby Fish a pep talk before they start a morning run. Morell convinces Bobby Fish to eat a few egg yolks before the run.
The video goes on to show Morell as the head trainer making Bobby Fish do all kinds of drills. Running, weight lifting, judo, and kickboxing is all included.
As the video ends Frank Morell asks Chad Collyer if he wants out of the title match?
Chad Collyer tells Frank he has a message for the champion...with that he decks Frank Morell and sends him summersaulting backwards.
Collyer says that he isn't going to be intimidated by any ridiculous training video, and come August 24th, a new USWA X-division champion is going to be crowned!
Steve Corino confronts Steve Bradley on behalf of Jun Akiyama.
Backstage Steve Corino seeks out Steve Bradley and tells him that he is crazy to think tonight he could possibly get a win over Akiyama.
Corino goes on to talk about how Jun is in the best shape of his life, and is on a winning streak that is going to take him back to the top of the ladder in the USWA.
Bradley tells Corino that we will all find out soon enough if Akiyama is on top of his game, because Bradley plans on winning the match tonight and earning the right to take on the winner of Johnson/Taz.
Scott Hudson sit down interview with Taz.
Lance Russell introduces the next segment by commenting on Scott Hudsons sit-down interview with Ahmed Johnson last week. This week Scott traveled to Queens New York where he was able to discuss in detail the USWA Champions feelings on his upcoming title defense against Ahmed Johnson, his training dojo, and his thoughts on an impressive title reign....lets take a look.
(We fade into a room with Hudson and Taz sitting in chairs, in the background is the shadow of a wrestling ring with students training.)
Scott Hudson thanks Taz for taking the time to talk to him on a number of topics. Hudson asks Taz what September 1st, 2002 means to him?
Taz tells Hudson that was the day that he earned everything he has been working for in this business.
Scott asks Taz to explain what that means to the fans....
Taz said that his entire career in pro wrestling was defined by three letters, E-C-W-. All of his success in this business came when he was in Extreme Championship Wrestling. Everyone always labeled him as "an ECW GUY" something that was great at the time, but also an insult because he has given more to the sport of pro wrestling than he has to one company or organization.
Scott says that he has been in the USWA for quite sometime. He was here since it's resurrection in 2001, but success wasn't easy at first.
Taz says that he took some losses to Low-Ki early in his career, and he had title matches, but never could win the title. It was almost like my own demon. I got a reputation in the locker room as the guy who couldn't win the big one. That changed September 1st of last year when I took down New Jack in the cage to win the title.
Hudson asks Taz to describe his relationship with New Jack, and has any of his feelings towards Jack been a factor in his mental preperation for his match with Ahmed.
Taz says he knows that New Jack and Ahmed Johnson were tight. New Jack and Taz were civil in their time in ECW. Their paths never crossed, but it did when they came to the USWA. New Jack beat Raven for the USWA title and he earned the title, he can't take that away from him. As far as work ethic and how Jack prepared to be a champion and continue to be a champion has a lot to be desired. Taz says that New Jacks lack of interest in being a professional athlete has a lot to do with why he couldn't keep the belt for more than a few months. Ahmed Johnson's relationship with New Jack is a non issue in this upcoming match.
Hudson digs a little deeper and tells Taz that he has always been a lone wolf in his career. Didn't need friends, but he does have friends in the USWA. Ahmed Johnson defeated Chad Collyer at the Mid South Coliseum, and it hasn't been brought to the publics attention what your interest in that match really is.
Taz hesitates, but gives Scott the information he is looking for. Taz admits that Dean Malenko and Chad Collyer are pretty good friends with himself. Taz tells Hudson that Malenko is actually right behind them in the ring training at his wrestling school. Taz says that Malenko is a co trainer for Team Taz, and Chad Collyer is a graduate of Taz's wrestling school. Taz goes on to say that Chad is a standout and expects Collyer to be the future of the USWA long after his title run is over. Taz also admits he was a little pissed off when Ahmed Johnson beat his prized pupil.
Hudson asks if this match coming up with Johnson is a little more personal than what has been portrayed on television?
Taz says that there is a little more to the match because of the Collyer situation, and that Ahmed has been running his mouth a little longer and a a little louder than some of the other top contenders in the USWA. Taz names Vampiro, Harry Smith, Ulf Herman, New Jack, Raven, Konnan....they can all run their mouth, but they can also go buy the DVD of the show when I beat their ass and defended my title.
Scott Hudson comments that a win over Ahmed Johnson gives Taz 12 successful defenses. That would be tied with Jun Akiyama for the most defenses by a heavyweight champion. What does that mean to him?
Taz says that it would not only prove all the naysayers that were on my back two years ago wrong, but it would show the world that he has always been more than just an ECW guy, he is one of the best in the world.
Hudson thanks Taz for his time and reminds the fans that Ahmed Johnson vs Taz will take place on August 24th from Manhattan, NY at Global Warfare on PPV!
Raven and Konnan defeated Latin Lover and Rey Bucanero when Raven pinnedBucanero with the Evenflow DDT in 0:08:41. Rating: **** [Dean Malenko interfered against Rey Bucanero.]
Latin Lover and Konnan meet again tonight with their frequent tag team partners also involved in this one. Raven gets the victory over Rey Bucanero with an assist from Dean Malenko. After the loss, Latin Lover took the mic and said he has had it with Konnan. Lover has demanded a mexican death match against Konnan at Global Warfare. Konnan comments that he has beaten Lover up and down the United States, but if its one last match he wants to settle the score, then so be it. Global Warfare will be the end of the Konnan/Latin Lover feud.
Global Warfare event center.
Lance Wright welcomes the fans to the Gloabl Warfare Events Center. Lance says that tickets are going fast for this event, and if you can't be in the New York area on August 24th, you can catch all the USWA action from your home. The USWA presents it's third PPV event of the year! Global Warfare!
The headline match is the one the entire industry, and all the USWA hardcore fans have been talking about for weeks. The first meeting of Ahmed Johnson taking on the USWA Heavyweight champion TAZ! You heard the interview with Taz earlier in the show, their isn't much more to say about this one. It's going to be a big time match, on a big time stage for the USWA.
Dean Malenko and Rey Bucanero will go at it once again in Manhattan. These two have been quick to interfere in each others matches as of late. The USWA fans will be treated to an athletic matchup between two of the best in the world when these two try to recapture their 5 star match from the G1 Tournament.
Just this weekend we learned that Alex Shelley is going to be given an opportunity to shine in singles competition against a Mexican superstar in Juventud Guerrero! This will be the first major match for Juvi in the USWA, and fans have been commenting on their excitement to see Guerrero in the ring.
The X-Division title is on the line as Chad Collyer takes on champion Bobby Fish. You've seen the training video that Frank Morell showed off earlier in the show. Can Chad Collyer claim his first USWA championship? Or will The Corino Family continue to hold the gold?
BREAKING NEWS from the office of the USWA president. After the actions of Raven today on Velocity, Bill Dundee has demanded a one on one match between Raven and Vampiro at Global Warfare, we are hearing that the stipulation will be a Casket MATCH! Someone is going to get stuffed into a casket in Manhattan, NY.
Other matches on the card include the USWA Tag team titles being defended by Bad Intentions against the Island Boys. Can Kimo and OG EKMO get past Americas Most wanted next week in the cage match? How violent of a match will that be leading into the PPV?
and Harry Smith will take on current Global Champion, Jun Akiyama in Jun's first title defense since he won the belt at the G1 tournament.
USWA officials have stated one more match will be announced for the PPV next week, but as you can see the action on the card is already worth the price of admission.
Global Warfare 2003! Don't miss it folks!
Jun Akiyama and Steve Bradley battled to a no contest in 0:04:38.Rating: *** 1/4 [Steve Corino interfered against Steve Bradley.] [Harry Smith interfered against Jun Akiyama.]
Our Main Event was thrown out after our head referee Downtown Bruno made the call that too many factions were involved. Steve Corino came out and tripped up Steve Bradley on behalf of his client Jun Akiyama, Akiyama looked a little frustrated at his manager for that move. Harry Smith and Trinity made their presence felt, as he came down and clobbered Akiyama when he wasn't looking. Trinity got into a pull apart brawl with Steve Corino when Corino questioned her presence at ringside. Rumors are circulating that Bill Dundee is going to go to extreme levels to make sure that Corino and Trinity won't be a distraction to the Global Title match at the PPV.

Dave Brown brings up a recent injury that occured to Kimo of the Island Boys last week on Velocity. We are going to hear from the Island Boys as they have a cage match with Americas Most Wanted scheduled for Velocity this week.

Brown tells the fans to stick around, we are headed to our first commercial break.
Steve Bradley pinned Doug Williams with the Smashmouth in 0:06:35. Rating: *** 1/4
Bradleys victory tonight puts him in a good position for a shot at either the Global Title or the Heavyweight title after the PPV. Bradley has discussed being a top contender, and he might have to earn those title matches against either Harry Smith, Johnson, Taz, or Jun Akiyama once Global Warfare is in the books.
Harry Smith pinned King Fale with the Stampede Powerslam in 0:04:36.Rating: ** 3/4
Trinity was fed up with King Fale and his losing ways. Tonight she challenged her client to face Harry Smith as he prepares for his Global Title shot. Fale didn't get the victory and Trinity told him she was dropping him from her stable because he was hopeless!

Backstage, Lance Wright caught up with Alex Shelley. Shelley said he would keep a watchful eye on tonights main event. He had harsh words for his opponent at Global Warfare in Juventud Guerrera, and said that this week on Velocity, whatever Low-Ki doesn't take care of tonight, he will finish off Devitt once and for all on Velocity.
Alex told Lance that people in the USWA are about to see a whole new side of "The Next".
The Island Boys talk about their upcoming cage match.
Back in the ring Scott Hudson brings out the #1 contenders to the USWA Tag Team Titles, The Island Boys.
Hudson shows a clip of their victory last week on Velocity. The video shows Kimo twisting his ankle, and then Hudson mentions that he has a brace around that ankle.
Kimo says he knows the questions will be coming as to if they are ready for tomorrow night on PPV, but the fact is, nothing is going to stop them from winning those USWA Tag team titles.
Hudson brings up tonight on Velocity, a tag team cage match against Americas Most Wanted. All a part of Karl Andersons plan to wear you guys down before the PPV.
OG Ekmo says they have no respect for AMW, their attitude since they came back to the USWA has been a quick run to the top of the ladder in the tag team division. The days of a weak division in the USWA are over, and after tonight, the Island Boys are going to put Americas Most Wanted right back at the bottom of the list for a title shot.
Kimo tells Chris Harris and James Storm that if they think they are going to "wear down the Island Boys in the cage", they better have a good gameplan, because nobody is going to get in the way of them claiming gold.
Hudson says it sounds like The Island Boys are ready for the biggest weekend of their life, as they face A.M.W. on Velocity in a cage, and then head to Manhattan, NY for Global Warfare! A date with the USWA tag champions, Bad Intentions awaits them!
Footage of USWA press conference with Konnan and new tag team.

La Mascara and Mascara Dorada who will be known as Generation Dorada!
Footage was shown of La Mascara and Mascara Dorada in action, providing a glimpse of their high flying lucha style.
Konnan commented that Mascara Dorada is still a teenager who still has so much to learn, but felt it was important that he learns his guidance in the United States. His tag partner La Mascara is a young 21 year old, who has come to the United States to face new competition. Konnan says that his carreer won't last forever, but these two stars are the future of professional wrestling in Mexico, and in the United States.
Members of the press asked Dorada what goals he has as a pro wrestler in the USWA? Dorada, who speaks very little english, commented that he is excited to show off his skills with legends like Konnan, Juventud Guerrera, and other latin stars that have been sucessful in the USWA.
President Bill Dundee said that they are going to take it very slow with these guys and that Dorada would continue to train at the USWA wrestling school, but both men will make their USWA debut in tag action next week on USWA Challenge!

With double the time limit of a regular TV match, Devitt and Low-Ki go the distance again in an excellent 30 minute match. Alex Shelley joined the announcers during the end of the match and guaranteed a victory over Devitt on Veloicty because he would be so weak after his match with Low-Ki. The fans gave both men a standing ovation to close out the show.
Backstage Notes:

USWA Velocity Chicago, IL Taped: August 12th, 2003 Airs: August 23rd, 2003 Hosts: Lance Russell and Corey Maclin
Bill Dundee announces stipulations for Global Title match.
President Bill Dundee comes out to open the show. Dundee talks about how we are literally hours away from our big PPV event in Manhattan, but the show still needs to be tweaked.
Dundee talks about the countless times that Corino and Trinity have been clawing and scratching at each other, taking cheap shots on the mic, and other behavior that has him concerned about the Global Title match. Dundee said that he has come up with a solution that should fix all these concerns. During the match Trinity and Corino will be handcuffed to eachother on the outside of the ring!
This way they should be able to fend off the other from getting involved in the show!
Alex Shelley defeated Prince Devitt in 0:04:23.Rating: ***
Shelley gets the victory over Prince Devitt, but the real news is the damage to Devitt's leg. Shelley got the win after Devitt tried a summersault move and landed akwardly on this leg. The leg continued to be a factor until the end of the match when it was apparent Shelley couldn't stand. Once the match was over Alex continued to apply a half boston crab, until officals were able to break the hold. Shelley took out one of the up and coming contenders to the X-Division title, and stated that he is ready to do the same to Juvi at the PPV.
Frank Morell apologizes to Bobby Fish.
In a video sent to the USWA, we see Frsnk Morell apologizing to Bobby Fish for not being able to complete his training for the X-Division title defense, due to the attack by Chad Collyer last week. His ankle is broken, his hip is bruised, and worst of all, his feelings have been hurt!
Bobby Fish blames Collyer for injuring his head trainer, and said that he won't let this ruin his title reign. Fish told Collyer that the second he put his hands on Frank Morell, he made it personal. At Global Warfare, Fish is going to show Collyer why attacking Morell was the worst mistake he could ever make!
Latin Lover pinned Christopher Daniels with the Magistral Cradle in 0:08:21. Rating: ****
Lover with a big victory over Daniels before he heads into battle with Konnan in a Mexican Death Match. These two have been at it almost all summer, tomorrow night could be the final battle.
Harry Smith pinned CM Punk with the Stampede Powerslam in 0:19:13. Rating: **** 1/2
Harry Smith, with Trinity at his side looked as impressive as ever with a pinfall victory over CM Punk. After the match Steve Corino met up with Punk in the dressing room and asked him if he had ever considered joining the Corino family? Corino has made a small fortune on hiring wrestlers that have been down on their luck, could CM Punk be the newist member?
Steve Corino and Trinity meet backstage.
Steve Corino meets up with Trinity backstage and tells her, that being handcuffed to him must be one of her all time fantasies, but she should get any ideas, because Akiyama defending the title is the only thing on his mind tomorrow night!
Trinity gives Corino a look of disgust, and tells him that their are quite a few problems within the so called "Corino family", and at Global Warfare, Harry Smith will be walking out with the Global title. Once that happens Jun is going to have second thoughts about his "representation".
Corino tells Trinity that she only wishes she could manage someone like Jun Akiyama, and at Global Warfare, this so cold hot streak that Harry has been on is about to come to a hault. With Trinity handcuffed to Corino, he guarantees her a ringside seat to see it all go down.
Trinity said that she will stop at nothing to make sure Harry becomes the champion, and that if she has to knock out Corino and drag his dead body around the ring in order to do so, then thats just how it's going to be!
Corino smirks and tells her he will see her tomorrow night!
Backstage interview with Chad Collyer about his X-Division title match on PPV.
Lance Wright catches up with Chad Collyer backstage and asks him if he is ready for his first ever USWA title match?
Chad tells Lance he is as ready as he is ever going to be. His career has led him down a path of success here in the USWA, and that Bobby Fish is an important chapter in the book of Chad Collyer. Chad says he has been working extra hard with Taz and Malenko in the dojo, and that with the X-Division title on the line, he is going to make sure to bring home the gold for himself, for his trainers, and for all of his fans.
Lance says that Bobby Fish has had an impressive run in 2003 as the USWA X-Champion, and as a guy who hasn't competed in the division much this year, what type of adjustments will he have to make in order to beat the champion?
Collyer says that he and his trainers have a gameplan going into the match, and they will execute that plan to perfection tomorrow night. Collyer than has one last message for Frank Morell, and that is to keep his nose out of the match, or that ankle and hip problem will be the least of his worries!
Lance tells Lance Russell and Corey Macklin that it sounds like Collyer is ready for tomorrow night!
Taz made Dean Malenko submit to the Tazmission in 0:10:49. Rating: *** 3/4
Taz takes the victory over head trainer of the Taz Dojo, Dean Malenko. Malenko gave Taz everything he had, and announced after the match that he has never seen Taz is this good of shape. Malenko said that Taz has trained for this PPV match, like no other match he has ever seen before. Taz left the paying crowd with a great match as he heads to Global Warfare.
Ahmed Johnson final thoughts before Global Warfare.
Lance Russell brings out the #1 contender Ahmed Johnson!
Lance says we have been hearing from all the contenders tonight reguarding the title matches tomorrow night. This one is setting up to be an all time great. Russell asks Ahmed straight forward, are you ready for Taz?
Ahmed Johnson replies that the real question is, is Taz ready for Ahmed Johnson? Johnson says that when he walks out of Global Warfare as the new USWA champion, this entire company is going to change. A new guy will hold the heavyweight title, and Taz is going to have to go back to being the HUNTER not the HUNTED!
Johnson says that he still thinks back on that Pearl River Plunge he hit Collyer with in Memphis, and he has visions of that exact ending tomorrow night. Johnson says that NOBODY kicks out of the Pearl River Plunge, and when he locks that move onto Taz, there is no getting up.
Lance asks Johnson if he is concerned about Malenko and Collyer being in the building that night?
Johnson tells Russell that Taz has never used outside interference to win a match and out of respect for the sport, he doesn't expect that to change, BUT he won't be alone tomorrow night!
Lance asks Johnson who exactly he has in mind?
Johnson says he will have someone to watch his back tomorrow night, just to make sure Malenko or Collyer don't get any grand ideas of saving Taz, when they see him defenseless on the ground.
Russell tells the crowd that we have some shocking news as we head into the PPV. Ahmed Johnson will have a mystery man at ringside, we will have to tune in tomorrow night to see exactly what goes down!
Cage Match The Island Boys (OG Ekmo and Kimo) defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when Kimo pinned C. Harris with the Kimo-Therapy in 0:07:57. Rating: *** 1/4
In our main event, the Island Boys claim victory over Americas Most Wanted in the steel cage. Kimo and OG Ekmo proved they are ready for the tag match, but Kimo, who is working through an injured ankle showed signs that his foot is not 100%. We will see if the Island Boys can do the impossbile and get the first victory over Bad Intentions at the PPV.
Backstage Notes:
Global Warfare is just hours away, and it looks to be one of our most eagerly anticipated matches of the year.
USWA has scheduled another Mid South Coliseum show that will take place next weekend. A lot of the fallout of Global Warfare will take place at the Coliseum show.
Rumors have been circulating about the next group of wrestlers who have expiring contracts. Bad Intentions and Doug Williams are both winding down on their contracts. The USWA would like to bring back Bad Intentions, but it sounds like Doug Williams time with the company could be coming to an end.

USWA Presents...Global Warfare Hammerstein Ballroom Manhattan, NY Commentators: Scott Hudson, Lance Russell, Dave Brown
Show Opener
The show opens with comments from our PPV announcers Scott Hudson, Lance Russell, and Dave Brown. They talk about the atmosphere here in Manhattan for tonights PPV, and that they won't be wasting any time. They take us backstage to Lance Wright who is standing by with the tag team champions!
Last minute comments from Bad Intentions before the tag title match.
Backstage, Lance Wright asks Bad Intentions their final thoughts as they hit the ring to defend those tag titles. Steve Corino jumps in and tells Lance that tonight will be another CLEAN SWEEP for the Corino family! Karl Anderson says that the Island Boys got lucky when they defeated Americas Most Wanted inside the cage, but tonight, luck isn't going to be on their side.
Giant Bernard tells Kimo that tonight he plans on finishing the job on that bad ankle of his!
Lance throws it back to the commentators.
The Island Boys (OG Ekmo and Kimo) defeatedBad Intentions (Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson) when Kimo pinned Giant Bernard after a frog splash in 0:16:52. Rating: **** 1/4 (The Island Boys won the Tag Team Title.) [Steve Corino interfered against OG Ekmo.] [Steve Corino interfered against Kimo.]
NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The Island Boys did what everyone thought would be impossible. They came away tonight with the victory. A wild ending with Kimo executing a frog splash from the top rope to pin Giant Bernard. Kimo couldn't stand after the match, and it looks like his ankle is completely shot. After the match Kimo took the mic and told the fans that doctors told him he shouldn't wrestle tonight, but they were not going to let anything get in their way of becoming the tag champs. OG Ekmo thanked the fans for being on their side as they made a run to the top of the mountain, and promised to be worthy champions.
No-Countout-No-DQ-MatchAlex Shelley pinned Juventud Guerrera with the Shell Shock in 0:11:09. Rating: *** 1/4
After injuring Prince Devitt on television, Alex Shelley continued his agressive nature with a victory over Juventud Guerrera. Before the match Alex Shelley dared Juventud to make this a no countout/no DQ match so they could take this encounter to the extreme. Juventud agreed, and it would cost him dearly. Shelley hit the shell shock and just like what he did to Devitt, he attacked Guerreras knee. After repeated chair shots to the knee, Juventud was thriving in pain. Shelley attempted to remove the mask of Juventud, until officials made their way down to get him away from the ring. Juventud had to be streachered out of the ring. Alex Shelley is on a complete tear of the X-Division.
Mexican Death MatchKonnan pinned Latin Lover after a spinebuster slam in 0:09:58. Rating: **** 1/4
Konnan ends the war with Latin Lover tonight in the Mexican Death match. Latin Lover took the mic after the match and told Konnan that even though he won this match tonight, he will always hate him for picking and choosing the destiny of certain lucha libre wrestlers. Konnan told Latin Lover that he has always been fair in who he has chosen to bring to the USWA. Latin Lover spit in Konnans face and was helped to the back by Vampiro and Rey Bucanero. Konnans tag team partner Raven came out and stood at Konnans side to make sure Vampiro or Rey didn't attempt to attack him after the match.
Bobby Fish, Frank Morell, and Steve Corino talk about the X-Division match.
Corey Maclin backstage asks Corino if the same fate awaits the X-Division title as the tag team titles did earlier in the show.
Corino is beyond upset, and said that he is going to make sure to be at ringside because no offense to FRANK MORELL, but he can't afford to lose another title tonight!
Frank Morell said that he is feeling 100%, and that him and Fishy were able to get in another training session before the show. The X-Division title is in good hands!
Bobby Fish says that in 2003 this title has meant the world to him, he will go to great lengths to defend it against any challenger, and Chad Collyer isn't walking out of Manhattan with this belt!
Corey throws it back to ringside.
Bobby Fish pinned Chad Collyer with the Falcon Arrow in 0:07:21. Rating: **** 1/4 (Bobby Fish retained the X-Division Title.) [Frank Morell interfered against Chad Collyer.] [Steve Corino interfered against Chad Collyer.] [CM Punk interfered against Chad Collyer.]
It took a lot of work from the Corino family to retain the X-Division title, which at many times during the match, it seemed like we would be seeing a new champion crowned. The turning point came when Chad Collyer had Frank Morell knocked out on the apron, Steve Corino was tied up in the ropes, and Bobby Fish was layed out from a superkick. As Collyer was about to go for the pin, out runs CM Punk. Corino distracted the referee once again and Punk ran in to hit the go to sleep knee to the face on Collyer. Bobby Fish retained the title, and it looks as if maybe CM Punk is the newist member of the Corino Family!
Casket Match Raven defeated Vampiro in 0:23:24. Rating: *** 3/4 [Konnan interfered against Vampiro.]
Another blood feud came to an end tonight as Raven defeated Vampiro by stuffing him into the casket. Konnan raised the hand of his tag partner, and it looks like the "baggage" that was holding back Raven and Konnan from accomplishing their dreams of becoming champions is finally behind them.
Dean Malenko made Rey Bucanero submit to a leg hammerlock in 0:06:21. Rating: **** 1/4 [Konnan interfered against Rey Bucanero.]
In the follow up to their amazing G1 match, Malenko and Bucanero went at it in PART 2. This match was just as good as their first encounter. Konnan once again made his way down to assure a Dean Malenko victory. It looks as if Konnan had made Global Warfare his battlefield to take out the trio of Vampiro, Bucanero, and Latin Lover all in one night. That goal was accomplished as all three men took losses in their respective matches.
(Steve Corino and Trinity handcuffed together at ringside) Harry Smith and Jun Akiyama battled to a double disqualification in 0:06:24. Rating: *** (Jun Akiyama retained the Global Title.) [Steve Corino interfered against Harry Smith.]
This championship match didn't last long as Corino and Trinity went at it at ringside. Both of them jumped to the apron and tried to interfere in the match. Downtown Bruno said he has had enough of Steve Corino and Konnan tonight, and wasn't going to allow another match with all this interference. Bruno called for the double DQ and ended the match. Fans were upset, but Bill Dundee said this would all be settled soon enough!
Taz defeated Ahmed Johnson by disqualification in 0:11:40. Taz suffered a neck injury. He will be out for approximately 8 cards. Rating: ** (Taz retained the Heavyweight Title.) (Taz retained the Southern Title.) [New Jack interfered against Taz.]
Taz once again retains his USWA heavyweight title, but it came at a price. Ahmed Johnson came to the ring with friend, and former USWA champion New Jack. New Jack is the man Taz defeated to become champion. Ahmed Johnson was close to finishing off Taz when New Jack hit Taz with a chair. Knowing the importance of this match, Bruno was going to let it continue and remove New Jack from ringside, but Taz fell like a ton of bricks. Bruno had no choice but to call for the DQ, which frustrated Ahmed Johnson to no end. Taz was in serious pain and was streachered out of the arena to be taken to a nearby hospital. In the ring Ahmed Johnson and New Jack got into a verbal, and then a PHYSICAL argument, which led to Ahmed Johnson hitting New Jack with the Pearl River Plunge to end the show.
Backstage Notes:
The biggest news coming off the show were the injuries. Kimo has been ruled out of action for a minimal amount of time due to his ankle injury.
Taz was taken to the doctor and we have been told he suffered another injury to his neck. A potentially serious injury. We are still awaiting word on where we go from here, but the heavyweight title situation is going to be a major story as we head to Cleveland for Velocioty and Challenge TV tapings.
Konnan and Raven have made it clear that their past is now in the past. Vampiro, Bucanero and Lover all suffered losses in their matches. Konnan and Raven claim that they are going to be joining the tag team division full time.
Steve Corino was impossible to talk to after the show, due to his anger toward losing the tag titles in the opening match. He went to new lows to make sure that the x-division title didn't change hands. He was able to convince CM Punk to help seal a victory for Bobby Fish. Punk never did confirm if he is going to join the Corino family or not, but tonight he didn't exactly make friends with Chad Collyer.

(Took a little break to get past the holidays, but USWA is back!)
USWA Challenge Taped 8.25.03 Aired: 8.30.03 Cleveland, OH Announcers: Dave Brown and Scott Hudson
Opening Segment
Dave Brown and Scott Hudson open this weeks USWA challenge. Dave talks about the company being fresh off the heels of a historic night in Manhattan, NY where TAZ defeated his rival Ahmed Johnson, but not without repercussions.
Scott continues that Taz has reinjured his neck. The same neck that put him on the shelf in ECW in 1995, and again when Low-Ki put him out of action in 2001. Doctors have not told anyone where Taz stands right now, but the heavyweight title picture is very concerning at this point.
Dave Brown comments about the NEW Tag Team Champions, the Island Boys Kimo and OG Ekmo winning the titles, and today on Challenge, we will introduce the newist team to come to the USWA, Generation Dorada, a young high flying team out of Mexico, will make their USWA debut today.
Scott says that we will have a big 6 man tag main event with Chad Collyer, Dean Malenko, and Christopher Daniels taking on Bobby Fish, CM Punk and Alex Shelley!
Dave tells us we will be back from commerical break with the former tag team champions Bad Intentions in action!
Bad Intentions (Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson) defeatedAssassin #1 and Assassin #2 when K. Anderson pinned Assassin #2 with the Stun Gun in 0:06:28. Rating: ** 1/2
Bad Intentions made short work of their opponents today. Steve Corino told Dave Brown during the match that his guys will be exercise their title rematch as soon as humanly possible, because the victory by the Island Boys was a joke and Bernard and Anderson could beat The Boys everyday of the week, and twice on Sundays! After the match Trinity made her way to the ring.
Trinity challenges Corino to a fight.
As Steve Corino was stating a case for his tag team to get a title rematch, out comes Trinity who has a bone to pick with Corino over Global Title match that took place at Global Warfare. Trinity suggested that Corino has no respect for Jun Akiyama, or Harry Smith during their title match and being handcuffed at ringside wasn't the way to find out the better man.
Corino defends his actions in the fight and says that Akiyama is looking for other challengers to his title, Trinity says that she wants a fight with Corino one on one! Corino told Trinity that he is no longer an active wrestler, but a manager to the champions here in the USWA.
Bill Dundee came out and told Corino that he knows he is still an active wrestler all around the country, and that if Trinity is willing to step in the ring against Corino, maybe that will be the best way to settle their differences.
Corino left the ring without agreeing the the match, but it does look like the idea of these two going at it one on one is in the mind of the USWA President.
The Bad Street Boys (Christian York and Joey Matthews) defeated Generacion Dorada (La Mascara and Mascara Dorada) when York pinned Dorada after a power bomb in 0:04:08. Rating: *** 1/4 [Daizee Haze interfered against Mascara Dorada.]
The Bad Street Boys ruin the debut match for Dorada and La Mascara. Daizee Haze makes the claim that the Bad Street Boys are taking on every challenge that the USWA is putting in front of them and will eventually earn a shot at the tag team titles.
Low-Ki defeated Alex Koslov by disqualification in 0:07:08.Rating: **** [Prince Devitt interfered against Low-Ki.]
Prince Devitt took his recent rivalry with Low-Ki to the next level tonight when he made his way to the ring and hit Ki in the back with a folding chair. Referee John Finnigan had no choice but to call for the bell. Devitt took the mic and told Low-Ki that if he needs to throw away his technical wrestling strategy and get a little voilent in order to secure a pinfall, thats what he is willing to do.
Chad Collyer, Dean Malenko and Christopher Daniels defeatedBobby Fish, CM Punk and Alex Shelley when C. Collyer made Punk submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:10:23. Rating: *** 1/2
Our Main Event of the show saw an action packed six man tag, with fan favorites Collyer, Malenko, and Daniels gain a victory over X-Division Champion Bobby Fish, and two men that Steve Corino calls "friends of the family" in CM Punk and Alex Shelley.
Chad made Punk tap to his Texas Cloverleaf submission and sent the fans home happy. After the match, Corino told Punk this is exactly why it's about time he joins the family and gets his career back on the right track. Corino said with his family members watching his back, he can get over the hump of recent losses and look toward some long term title reigns. CM Punk mulled over the decision, took the mic and then asked Corino where to sign? So it looks like CM Punk has become the latest USWA superstar to hire the services of Steve Corino!

USWA Velocity Taped 8.25.03 Aired: 8.30.03 Cleveland, OH Announcers: Lance Russell and Corey Maclin
Ahmed Johnson wants answers to the heavyweight title situation.
(Velocity starts off with an ANGRY Ahmed Johnson in the ring with the mic.)
Ahmed talks about how much he learned by stepping in the ring with a man who has held the USWA title for over 11 months. Ahmed learned that he is the powerhouse that Taz can't push around. He also learned that Taz can take a beating like nobody he has ever faced before, and refuses to quit.
Ahmed said he also realized why he always wanted to pave his own way in the USWA, and not be in the shadow of New Jack. Johnson basically blames New Jack for getting involved in the match. Johnson claims the only reason he doesn't have the title around his wasit right now, is because of New Jack.
Johnson reminds the fans that recently he was the Global Champion and was hit with an injury which forced him out of competition for a couple weeks. At that time Dundee said that the title MUST be defended and stripped him of the gold. Now that Taz is recovering from his THIRD major neck injury, we don't even know if he will ever wrestle again. Johnson asks Dundee to come out and announce that Taz has been stripped of the Heavyweight title.
(Dundee makes his way to the ring.)
Dundee tells Johnson that he understands his frustrations with the situation, and that if he hasn't noticed, in about a month the USWA will be headed to Puerto Rico for the first time ever for a tour. In the promotional material that has already been sent out, it guarantees that Taz will defend the USWA Heavyweight title on those shows. Dundee says he has spoken to Taz who has assured him that he will be back for the tour. BECAUSE of this, he has decided that Taz will NOT be stripped of the title, and will be able to continue on as the champion, as long as he makes good on his promise to defend the title in Puerto Rico.
Ahmed flips out at this point and claims that Dundee has a personal agenda agianst him.
Dundee goes on to say that Johnson isn't the only one who feels he was screwed at Global Warfare. Apparently Harry Smith has accused Steve Corino and his group of costing him the Global title at Warfare. So Dundee announces that TONIGHT in our main event, Ahmed Johnson will take on Harry Smith, with the winner to meet Jun Akiyama for the Global title at the Mid South Coliseum show in September.
Johnson tells Dundee that he is so sick of sitting back watching Taz get special treatment, while he has to work twice as hard for every opportunity. Johnson guarantees he will defeat Harry Smith tonight, then go on to beat Akiyama and recapture the Global title. Johnson says that as soon as Taz is back, he will get a rematch, and unify all the titles in the USWA!
(Johnson gives Dundee the death stare, slams the mic and heads backstage.)
Steve Bradley defeated Doug Williams by disqualification in 0:07:36.Rating: ** 1/2
Bradley and Williams have been competing against eachother all over the circuit for the past few weeks. The match was put on television tonight to showcase the workrate of both athletes, but that didn't really get put on display. After Williams executed two picture perfect suplexes, he was sure he had the three count victory. John Finnegan explained that Corino got his shoulder up. At that point Williams lost his cool and tossed the ref out of the ring. John called for the DQ immediatley, and the losing streak that has haunted Williams ever since the breakup of his tag team with Harry Smith has finally hit it's melting point.
Update on Kimo's injury
Backstage Lance Wright catches up with 1/2 of the tag team champions, OG EKMO. Lance asks for an update on Kimo and his bad ankle.
Ekmo says Kimo injured the ankle badly in the cage match with AMW a few weeks ago. He didn't really lead on about how bad it was because of the upcoming title match. After the victory at Warfare, it was obvious he needed time to heal the ankle. Ekmo says that Kimo should be back in action in about a month, but personally he can't wait that long to get his hands on Bad Intentions. Ekmo says he is sick of hearing Corino and his guys talk about their title victory being a fluke. Ekmo says that next week on challenge, if Bernard wants to see exactly what the Island Boys are made of, he will meet him one on one in the ring!
Lance Wright thanks Ekmo for his time, and throws it back to Lance and Corey, stating that Ekmo is ready to get it on with Bernard next week on Challenge!
CM Punk pinned Brian Christopher after a sunset flip in 0:06:41.Rating: ** 3/4
With his new manager at ringside, CM Punk gets a victory tonight on television. Bradley told Punk that this is just the beginning of his luck turning around. CM Punk joined Lance Russell for a few comments after the match.
CM Punk calls out Dean Malenko.
Lance Russell tells Punk he is impressed with his victory tonight, but wonders if joining Steve Corino and his group of thugs was something that he had to do to get his career back on track?
CM Punk told Russell that once he has gold around his waist, nobody will be questioning his action. CM Punk changes the subject to Chad Collyer and Dean Malenko. Punk talks about his loss via submission to Collyer earlier on Challenge this week.
Punk says he has faced Chad all around the country, and never before has he been able to get a victory, now all of a sudden he's able to get Punk to tap to the Texas Cloverleaf. Punk calls Collyer nothing but a snake in the grass, and to kill a snake you need to cut it's head off. Punk calls out Dean Malenko and calls him the head of the snake that is Chad Collyer. Everyone knows Malenko is the one who has been training Collyer this year, and its about time those training sessions come to an end.
Steve Corino jumps in and tells Malenko that CM Punk is willing to face him in any enviroment, any type of match. Corino tells Malenko he is going to get the contract written up and demand that the old man Dean Malenko faces his newist client, CM Punk!
As Corino and Punk leave, Lance tells the audience that match would be an instant classic, and hopes Malenko accepts, in order to silence Steve Corino.
Vampiro pinned Mike Anthony with the Nail In The Coffin in 0:05:08.Rating: **
Harry Smith comments on tonights main event.
(Backstage Lance Wright asks Harry Smith for comments about his opponent tonight.)
Harry Smith tells Lance that he knows deep down he has what it takes to be the next Global champion, tonight he is going to get the test of his life when he steps into the ring against Ahmed Johnson.
Lance says that most people think he is just too young and inexperienced to be in the position he is.
Harry Smith says that his father was one of the best in Pro Wrestling, and although his is still a young man, he has years of experience because he has been around this buisness so long. Smith says tonight he is going to prove to the world he is right where he belongs!
Raven and Konnan ask Bill Dundee for a tag title match.
(Cameras catch up with Konnan and Raven waiting outside Bill Dundees office.)
Dundee arrives to see the two hanging out, Dundee asks them whats going on?
Konnan tells Bill Dundee that this year has been a wild one for both Raven and himself. The ups and the downs, the missed title opportunities, the voilent rivalries, and in the end, they're both still standing.
Dundee asks him what the point of all this is?
Raven jumps in and tells Dundee that they want a tag team title match.
Dundee says they haven't even wrestled in the tag team division!
Raven then tells Dundee they should be given a shot based on their records in singles competition.
Bill Dundee tells them both that if they want a tag title shot, they have pleny of competition they could face in order to earn a match, so he suggests they file the proper paperwork to become a tag team, and start scouting the other teams in the USWA.
Konnan tells Dundee that him and Raven have been trying to win titles all year, and makes the claim that they will not let 2003 end without a title around their waist!
#1 contender to the Global Title Ahmed Johnson defeated Harry Smith in 0:07:25. Rating: ** 1/2
Ahmed Johnson gets the victory, and will go on to face Jun Akiyama at the Mid South Coliseum next month. Johnson again showed his power by destroying Smith, who is an impressive size himself. Johnson won't stop on his path to becoming the USWA champion.

USWA Challenge Taped 8.26.03 Aired: 9.06.03 Cleveland, OH Announcers: Dave Brown and Scott Hudson
Announcers Open the show
(The camera closes in on Scott Hudson and Dave Brown welcoming the fans to another week of USWA Challenge!)
Scott Hudson talks about tonights main event, which was put together after some harsh comments by CM Punk.
(Video of CM Punks post match interview from Velocity last week is shown.)
Lance says that Punk has a new attitude now that he has joined up with Corino, and tonight we will see him get his wish, as he goes one on one with Dean Malenko.
Hudson says last week we saw a new team, Generation Dorada make their USWA debut. That should of been a big celebration for the new young team, but The Bad Street Boys pulled away with the victory. Today we will see them in action once again.
Lance says we will also see Vampiro, Brian Christopher, and a big one on one match with OG Ekmo taking on Giant Bernard!
Hudson says we are headed to a quick break, but not to touch that dial, plenty of USWA action when we return.
Jun Akiyama and Steve Corino defeated Harry Smith and Trinity when S. Corino pinned Trinity with the Old School Expulsion in 0:13:33. Rating: ****
Corino came out before the match to address Trinity. He made Lance show the footage last week of Trinity challenging him to a one on one match. Corino then states that he is in no condition to wrestle in singles competition in fear of not properly training. He did however convince Trinity to step in the ring in tag team competition, which led to our opening match. Corino got the pinfall, after Akiyama did the dirty work on Trinity. Corino told Trinity that she will never be the manager that he is, as they left her laying in the ring.
Prince Devitt explains his actions last week.
Scott Hudson tells the fans to take a look at what happened last week during Low-Ki's matchup with Alex Koslov....
(Footage shows Prince Devitt smashing a chair over the back of Low-Ki.)
Back to Hudson who is standing with Prince Devitt, Hudson asks Devitt what that was all about?
Devitt says that Low-Ki and himself have yet to settle their differences in the ring, due to going the time limit several times. Devitt says he was sending a warning shot out to Low-Ki, to remind him that any time he wants to take their little rivalry to the next level, he is ready to do it.
Devitt reminds the fans that Low-Ki isn't exactly the squeeky clean fan favorite that he has been acting like the past several weeks. Devitt shows a picture of Low-Ki and Trinity attempting to hang Christopher Daniels, from a feud they were in last year.
Devitt then goes on to say that Alex Shelley put him out of action a few weeks ago, and it was a wake up call, that at any given second someone could take the opportunity to end your career. Devitt isn't going to wait around to let Low-Ki be the one to do that to him.
Hudson thanks Devitt for his time and reminds the fans that you could Low-Ki and Devitt take their feud on the road when the USWA hits a town near them.
Generacion Dorada (La Mascara and Mascara Dorada) defeatedThe New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) when La Mascara pinned A. Koslov after a flying senton in 0:03:31. Rating: ***
Generation Dorada puts this one in the record books as their first tag team victory in the USWA. York and Matthews joined the commentary for this match and claimed that they were unimpressed with the rookies.
Brian Christopher pinned Rey Bucanero with the Tennessee Jam in 0:09:50. Rating: ** 3/4
Giant Bernard pinned OG Ekmo with the Bernard Driver in 0:14:29. Rating: *** 3/4 [Steve Corino interfered against OG Ekmo.]
With Kimo still on the shelf, OG Ekmo decided to take matter into his own hands and challenge 1/2 of Bad Intentions, Giant Bernard to a singles match. Bernard got the best of Ekmo in this one on one match. Bernard claimed that Bad Intentions will have those titles back around their waist...it's only a matter of time!
Vampiro pinned Doug Williams with the Nail In The Coffin in 0:05:57. Rating: ** 1/2
Vampiro gets another victory tonight over Doug Williams. Vampiro has been keeping himself relevant as of late with his television victories.
CM Punk made Dean Malenko submit to a Texas Cloverleaf in 0:11:56.Rating: **** 1/4
CM Punk gets one over on the veteran tonight, and in the process, uses Malenko's own finishing maneuver to make him submit! The match was a clean match with no interference from Corino or Collyer. After the match Collyer jumps in the ring to check on his fallen mentor, when CM Punk tells Chad that Malenko is washed up, and he will never be a champion if he continues to trust in guys like Taz and Malenko. Collyer gets right in the face of CM Punk, but refuses to trade blows. Instead he reminds him that he made him tap last week. Collyer announces that he wants a match with CM Punk as soon as possible, and that Dundee better be working night and day to get it put together!

USWA Velocity Cleveland, OH Taped: 8.26.03 Airs: 9.6.03 Hosts: Lance Russell and Corey Maclin

Lance Russell interviews Christopher Daniels.
Lance Russell talks about former USWA Global Champion, Christopher Daniels.
Lance tells the fans that Christopher Daniels got some sad news last evening, and wanted this platform to share it with his fans.
Daniels thanked Lance and the USWA to give him this time. He goes on to talk about how last night a close friend of his was killed in a car accident. Daniels talks about his friend who trained him in windy city wrestling. Daniels then goes on to say that he is going to be dedicating the rest of the year to his old friend.
As Lance thanks Daniels for his thoughts, out comes Alex Shelley.
Shelley comes out and grabs the mic from Russell. Shelley says that he wished it was Daniels that was killed in the car accident!
Shelley could barley finish the sentence before Daniels clocked him in the face. Security had to break these two up so the show could continue.
Daniels was screaming for Shelley to man up and face him in the ring tonight!
Chad Collyer defeated Karl Anderson when Karl Anderson passed out in the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:12:30. Rating: **** 1/4
Chad Collyer, who has his sites set on CM Punk, earns a big victory over 1/2 of Bad Intentions Karl Anderson. Dean Malenko was in the corner of Collyer, and had his knee bandaged up from his match with CM Punk this past week on Challenge.
CM Punk and Bobby Fish were both in Andersons corner, but they were unable to distract Collyer and keep him from another victory.
Towel Match OG Ekmo (w/Kimo) defeated Giant Bernard (w/Steve Corino) with an avalanche in 0:36:56. Rating: *** 1/4 [Steve Corino interfered against OG Ekmo.]
Ekmo received a rematch from Challenge, this time it was in a towel match! Ekmo brought out Kimo in his corner to hold the towel. Kimo was on crutches, but was still in the house to support his tag team partner. Bernard had Corino in his corner since Karl Anderson was being checked on in the back after his loss. Ekmo hit an AVALANCE on Bernard and Corino threw in the towel. As the tag team champions were celebrating the victory, Corino told them that he didn't want to risk major injury to any of his guys, when they WILL have a rematch for those titles soon enough.
Harry Smith pinned Doug Williams with the Stampede Powerslam in 0:03:11. Rating: *** 1/4
Former tag team champions face off in this one on one match. Harry Smith, with Trinity at his side takes another victory from his former partner. Harry Smith is on the outside looking in at a USWA title match, but continues to dominate his opponents on television.
Bill Dundee talks to Steve Bradley backstage.
Backstage Steve Bradley runs into Bill Dundee and tells him that his opportunity to make a name for himself is right now. With Taz on the shelf, and rumors flying that he won't be back anytime soon, has an opening at the top of the food chain.
Bradley says he has already held the X-Division championship, and he is now ready to be the Main Event replacement to Taz! Bradley goes on about being able to defeat Akiyama, Harry Smith, Ahmed Johnson or any of the other big time players in the USWA.
Dundee tells Bradley that he has an impressive resume behind him, and that tonight he will get his opportunity to show the USWA if he is ready for the spotlight, because tonight he will go one on one with Ahmed Johnson in our MAIN EVENT!
Alex Shelley pinned Christopher Daniels with the Shell Shock in 0:08:02. Rating: **** 1/4
Alex Shelley with a victory over Daniels with the Shell Shock. Shelley took the mic after the match and glamored over his recent accomplishments. He talked about injuring Prince Devitt, taking Juventud Guerrera out at Global Warfare, and now a victory over USWA fan favorite Christopher Daniels!
Konnan and Raven defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when Raven pinned James Storm after a gutwrench suplex in 0:13:32. Rating: **** 1/4
The tag team of Konnan and Raven looked impressive tonight, with their first big tag team with over AMW. Konnan and Raven were still in pain from the chair shots they received earlier in the show, but they were determined to get their first victory tonight on Velocity.
Ahmed Johnson pinned Steve Bradley with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:12:07. Rating: ****
Our main event leaves a lot of questions to be answered by Steve Bradley. After claiming he is a main event player in the USWA, he came out and lost to #1 contender Ahmed Johnson. Bradley is attempting to convince Bill Dundee, and possibly himself, that he is the answer to fill the void left by the injury to Taz.
Backstage Notes:
Velocity concludes the tapings in Cleveland and the USWA will be heading to the Mid South Coliseum this upcoming weekend. None of the mid south matches were advertised, since these shows will air after the Coliseum show.
Taz neck injury has been rumored to be worse than we first expected. Dundee came out and said that Taz guaranteed he would be back by October to join the USWA on the Puerto Rico tour, but some doctors reports and telling us a different story. If Taz isn't healed by October, there is a good chance Dundee will have to strip him of the title, or face a lawsuit from Ahmed Johnson.
Details on the September Mid South Coliseum show are coming out, and we have been told a 15 man battle royal with the winner receiving $20,000 will be on that show. Some of the wrestlers in the locker room have been lobbying to get a spot in the match.
USWA heads to Washington DC on September 8th & 9th to tape Challenge and Velocity once again. We will have plenty of buildup to the September mid south show, along with more details on Taz, and the tour of Puerto Rico!

USWA Presents... Mid South Coliseum #7 August 28th, 2003
Steve Bradley pinned Harry Smith with the Smashmouth in 0:06:35. Rating: **** 1/4
Two guys on the verge of title contention in the USWA opened the show tonight. Smith had the advantage throughout the match, as Trinity was being a major distraction. Steve Corino came down to distract Trinity herself, which led to confusion for Smith. Bradley hit the Smashmouth finish, and leaves the coliseum with a victory. After the match Smith got in the face of Trinity, and we thought they were about to break up, but after tempers were cooled, they hugged and walked to the back together.
America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) defeated The Bad Street Boys (Christian York and Joey Matthews) when C. Harris pinned J. Matthews after the Death Sentence in 0:15:10. Rating: **** 1/4 [Daizee Haze interfered against Chris Harris.]
York and Matthews had a great showing in our featured tag team match, but the experience of Americas Most Wanted proved to be too much tonight. Even with the efforts of Daizee Haze at ringside, AMW were able to walk away with the victory.
Christopher Daniels pinned Brian Christopher with the Last Rites in 0:07:59. Rating: *** 1/2
Two fan favorites squared off in a friendly one on one match. Daniels took the mic and told Christopher he respects what he has done in the USWA in the past, but tonight he wanted to show the fans what the new breed of pro wrestling is. Daniels hit the last rites finisher on Christopher to get the victory.
Towel Match OG Ekmo (w/Kimo) defeated Karl Anderson (w/Giant Bernard) with a torture rack in 0:08:34. Rating: ***
Karl Anderson came out and began to run down the tag team champions. Anderson said he was starting to question the ankle injury to Kimo, but said that he knows he is in the back tonight. Anderson asked Ekmo to face him one on one tonight in a towel match! Ekmo accepted the challenge. With Giant Bernard and Kimo agreeing to be the corner men. OG Ekmo took the win when Giant Bernard threw in the towel after a torture rack. After throwing in the towel, Bernard ran to the opposite corner and tackled Kimo's bad ankle. Bernard took one of Kimo's crutches and began to lay him out! The locker room started to empty as security, along with several wrestlers seperated Bernard from Kimo.
Alex Shelley pinned King Fale after spinning headscissors in 0:10:52. Rating: ** 1/2
Shelley continues his winning ways with a victory tonight in singles competition. Shelley took the mic and again went over his accomplishments of taking out Prince Devitt, and Juventud Guerrera. Shelley also called out Christopher Daniels, telling him that his claim as a new breed of wrestler is pathetic. Shelley told Daniels, if he plans on making his way back to relevance in the USWA, he's going to have to face him first!
No-Time-Limit-Match Prince Devitt pinned Low-Ki with the Bloody Sunday in 0:09:20. Rating: ****
With no time limit to hold them back, the match surprisingly only lasted 9 minutes. Devitt was able to hit the Bloody Sunday and gain a major victory over Low-Ki on his way to being in the discussion for an X-Division title match.
Chad Collyer and Dean Malenko defeated The Corino Family (Bobby Fish and CM Punk) when C. Collyer defeated Punk via pinfall in 0:18:09. Rating: **** 1/4
This match demonstrated everything that makes the USWA one of the best places for in rnig action. Young upstart Chad Collyer and his mentor Dean Malenko get a victory over Bobby Fish and CM Punk when Collyer gets the victory over CM Punk. Bobby Fish and Frank Morell were happy that it wasn't Fish who got his shoulders pinned to the mat, while it was CM Punk who had to face the harsh reality that Chad Collyer has pinned him on several occasions.
Handicap-Falls-Count-Anywhere MatchKonnan and Raven defeated Vampiro, Rey Bucanero and Latin Lover when Raven pinned Bucanero with the Evenflow DDT in 0:14:17. Rating: **** 1/4

Now they have decided to team and go for the tag titles. Tonight they took a victory and ended their feud with Latin Lover, Vampiro and Bucanero in a wild falls count anywhere match, that ended up all over the coliseum. USWA Challenge TV Taped: 9/8/03 Airs: 9/13/03 Washington, DC Hosts: Dave Brown and Scott Hudson
Hudson and Brown welcome the fans to USWA Challenge.
Scott Hudson and Dave Brown welcome in the fans to another action packed morning of USWA Challenge! Today on the show our main event will have a CHAIR SHOT SURVIVAL match between Low-Ki and Prince Devitt. Devitt has been getting under Low-Ki's skin as of late and taking his game to a more violent level. Tonight chairs are legal in the main event.
Hudson says we will hear comments from a lot of USWA Superstars, including X-Division champion Bobby Fish, Chad Collyer, and Steve Corino.
Brown says to stick around, a RETURN TO THE RING by a USWA star will take place when we return from commercial break.
Chad Collyer challenges CM Punk to a #1 contenders match.
As we are getting ready for our first match of the morning, out comes Chad Collyer to a huge ovation from the fans.
Chad Collyer talks about last weeks main event when CM Punk put Dean Malenko in the Texas Cloverleaf to gain a victory. Chad says that was a punk move, and showed a lack of respect for a guy like Dean Malenko. Two weeks ago in the main event, CM Punk tapped out to the Texas Cloverleaf in the middle of the ring. It's proof that Punk knows he can't beat Collyer in a one on one match.
Dave Brown says that a match between these two superstars would really prove to the fans who the better man is.
Chad says he brought some footage to share with the fans, it's the ending of a tag team match that took place recently at the Mid South Coliseum. The finish shows Collyer hitting a big lariat and a kick to the head to get the pinfall over CM Punk in tag team action.
Collyer than makes the challenge to CM Punk. A one on one match on Challenge, next week, with the winner getting an X-Division title shot against Bobby Fish at the next Mid South Coliseum show.
Dave Brown says that if we can get that match signed, it would be an explosive main event to kick off Saturday morning television!
Juventud Guerrera pinned Latin Lover with the Dragon Suplex in 0:09:53. Rating: *** 1/2
The promise of a returning USWA star was exactly what we saw in our opening match today. Guerrera is back after suffering a knee injury at our Global Warfare PPV at the hands of Alex Shelley. Tonight a big victory over Latin Lover, that seemed to get under the skin of Lover.
Bobby Fish and Frank Morell talk about Collyer and CM Punk.
Challenge returns from a commercial break where Frank Morell is holding the title of the X-Division Champ Bobby Fish. Fish and Morell are backstage with Lance Wright to talk about the latest challenge by Chad Collyer.
Bobby Fish says that Chad has a lot of nerve trying to get back in the X-Division title picture. Fish says that he is pretty sure he defeated Collyer less than a month ago. Fish says that he has no problems givng a title shot to his friend CM Punk, but if Collyer is going to get another title match, it will be his last!
Bad Intentions (Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson) defeatedThe New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) when K. Anderson pinned V. Kozlov after the The Magic Killer in 0:06:54. Rating: ***
Former tag team champions made short work of their opponents tonight. Bernard and Anderson keep themselves in the number one contenders spot at the tag titles, and will receive that shot as soon as Kimo is back from injury. Steve Corino joined in on commentary during the match to discuss how frustrated the former champs are, because they have to wait on Kimo's ankle to heal before they can have the gold back around their waist.
Latin Lover and Rey Bucanero defeated Chiva Rayada I and Chiva Rayada II when L. Lover pinned Chiva II with the Magistral Cradle in 0:04:47. Rating: ***
Tag team action continued this morning, as Lover came out for a second match to team with Rey Bucanero. Lover said that he carried the team of himself and former partner Psicosis, but with Bucanero as his new tag partner, the team is fair and balanced. They picked up a victory today on Challenge TV, and gave the USWA fans a glimpse of what is to come with this new team.
Generacion Dorada (La Mascara and Mascara Dorada) defeated The Bad Street Boys (Christian York and Joey Matthews) when La Mascara defeated J. Matthews by countout in 0:02:04. Rating: **
The shouting matches back and forth between newcomers Generation Dorada, and The Bad Street Boys finally came to blows today on Challenge. The problem is nothing was settled, as La Mascara and Dorada came at their opponents with an aerial attack, Matthews convinced his partner, that this was an unfair match and walked out. Dorada got the victory, and a little revenge from their debut loss, but I doubt the young team wanted a victory under these circumstances.
Chairshot Survival Death Match Low-Ki pinned Prince Devitt with the Ki Crusher in 0:16:29. Rating: *** 3/4
Our MAIN EVENT saw Low-Ki even the odds with Prince Devitt, with a victory in the chairshot survival death match. When the chairs became legal, it added a new dynamic to this ongoing feud. The technical wrestling was thrown out the window, and an all out brawl took place. Low-Ki took the victory as the show comes to an end.
Challenge Notebook:
Low-Ki gets a victory over Devitt, then backstage announced he was leaving the USWA. Low-Ki has quit the USWA, and has been taken off all future bookings.
Chad Collyer vs CM Punk with the winner getting an X-Division title shot at the Mid South Coliseum will be next weeks main event! It should be a wild match as we prepare for our next appearance at the Mid South Coliseum.
Velocity tonight will feature Konnan and Raven in tag team action, Ahmed Johnson will take on Dean Malenko in the MAIN EVENT, and a major announcement coming from Bill Dundee concerning the Mid South Coliseum show on September 21st.

Konnan and Raven defeated The Bad Street Boys (Christian York and Joey Matthews) when Konnan made York submit to the Tequila Sunrise in 0:05:21. Rating: **** [Generation Dorada interfered against The Bad Street Boys.]
Unlike this morning on Challenge, York and Matthews couldn't run away from this evenings challenge. Konnan and Raven were getting the upperhand, when York again tried to walk out, but La Mascara and Mascara Dorada both ran down and made sure they couldn't run away from the competition. Konnan was able to slap the Tequila Sunrise on York with the distractions at ringside. Another big victory for Konnan and Raven.
Steve Bradley taped interview.
After last weeks loss to Ahmed Johnson here in Velocity, Steve Bradley sent in a recorded interview.
In the interview Bradley says that he is happy that Bill Dundee had shared the news of the Battle Royal, because after last week, Dundee promised Bradley he would have an opportunity to compete in this match.
Bradley said that his loss to Ahmed Johnson won't be the end of his rise to the top of the USWA. Bradley is going to win that Battle Royal, and earn another shot at USWA gold.

The attack on Dean Malenko by CM Punk is also featured. The video ends with the voice over saying these two will meet next week on USWA Challenge, with the winner going on to the Mid South Coliseum to face Bobby Fish.
Alex Shelley defeated Alex Koslov in 0:05:07.Rating: *** 3/4
A post match interview with Alex Shelley included him challenging Christopher Daniels to a one on one match at the Mid South Coliseum. Shelley said that if Daniels has the guts, he will accept the match. Shelley said he will put Daniels on the shelf the same way he did Guerrera and Prince Devitt.
Ahmed Johnson pinned Dean Malenko with the Pearl River Plunge in 0:05:35.Rating: ** 3/4
Ahmed Johnson came to the ring bad mouthing the USWA Heavyweight champion Taz. As this continued for a few minutes, Dean Malenko came down and basically told Johnson to shut his mouth. Malenko said that Johnson isn't half the wrestler Taz is, and that he would face Johnson tonight to defend the honor of his good friend Taz. Johnson took the match, and it didn't take long for Johnson to capture a victory. Malenko is just too undersized to step in the ring with a guy like Johnson. Ahmed gets another victory to end tonights show.
Velocity Notebook:
Jun Akiyama will defend his Global title for the first time since our last Pay Per View. The Ahmed Johnson/Akiyama matchup is a main event anywhere in the country at this point. A preview of the Mid South Coliseum show can be seen on the USWA website.
The USWA wasted no time signing multiple wrestlers to short term contracts. It has been rumored for weeks that the USWA would be opening up a Jr. Heavyweight division in the upcoming months. Bill Dundee has signed some american and international wrestlers all under 200 pounds to open up the jr. heavyweight division. Those names include Petey Williams, Matt Cross, Great Sasuke, and Teddy Hart. Two men that will be the headliners of the division will be Alex Shelley and Prince Devitt. We should have more on the formation of this division, and what this means to the X-Division title in the upcoming weeks.
Nothing for next weeks Velocity was announced on the show, but we do know that we will have several interviews with all the competitors in the $20,000 Battle Royal, along with all the USWA superstars on hand for another big Saturday night of action!

Jr. Heavyweight division match La Mascara defeated Teddy Hart by disqualification in 0:08:34. Rating: ***
With rumors circulating about the new junior heavyweight division that Bill Dundee is trying to get started, we saw the debut of newcomer Teddy Hart to the USWA. A relative of the famous Hart family, and one of the last to train in the Dungeon. Hart faced off against La Mascara in non stopped action from bell to bell. Teddy Hart hit his finishing maneuver on La Mascara, but when La Mascara kicked out, Teddy was having none of it and took out his anger on referee Mickey Jay. As Jay got back to his feet he disqualified Hart and gave the victory to La Mascara.
Backstreet Boys challenge Generation Dorada to a falls count anywhere match.
As our opening match comes to an end, out come Christian York, Joey Matthews, and manager Daizee Haze. Daizee takes the mic and congratulates La Mascara on his big victory this morning.
Haze says that her men have had enough of Generation Dorada, and last week was one of the worst weeks ever for York and Matthews due to La Mascara and Mascara Dorada!
Christian York takes the mic and says that last week on Challenge, Generation Dorada decided to take to the air and try to be showoffs to the USWA fans with their high flying moves. Then when Matthews and himself were in a match with Konnan and Raven on Velocity, Generation Dorada came out and distracted them at ringside, forcing them back into the ring and again costing them a victory.

Our Main Event will see Jun Akiyama with Steve Corino in his corner, defend his USWA Global title against number one contender Ahmed Johnson! With the fans starting to get behind Johnson, will tomorrow night be the night he adds the USWA Global Title to his resume?
Only one way to catch the action, be there tomorrow night!

America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) defeated The Texas Hangmen (Killer and Psycho) when C. Harris pinned Psycho after the Death Sentence in 0:09:16. Rating: ** 1/4
Cameras backstage showed Raven and Konnan looking on with interest in this one. Americas Most Wanted looked mighty impressive in tag team action tonight. Chris Harris took the mic after the match and told Raven and Konnan that next weeks tag team match is going to have a very different outcome than their first encounter. James Storm told Konnan that there isn't enought tequilla in the world to make him forget the pain he is going to feel next week!
Jr. Heavyweight MatchGreat Sasuke pinned Juventud Guerrera with the Thunder Fire Power Bomb in 0:08:38. Rating: ***
A big surprise to the audience of the USWA, The Great Sasuke was introduced as the latest contracted wrestler to the upcoming Jr. Heavyweight division. Fans remember the Great Sasuke from his WWF and ECW run in the past and gave him a respectful ovation as he entered the ring. A big victory tonight over Juventud Guerrera, as the Jr. Heavy division seems to be loaded with national and international stars.
Ahmed Johnson defeated Bobby Fish by disqualification in 0:06:39. Rating: -1/2* [Steve Corino interfered against Ahmed Johnson.]
Before the match Steve Corino came out with the Global Champion Jun Akiyama. Corino ran down Akiyama's USWA accomplishments and reminds Ahmed that Akiyama was just as strong of a USWA Heavyweight champion as Taz ever was, and that tomorrow night Akiyama is going to add a victory over Johnson to his resume. The match in the ring ended when Fish threw Bruno out of the ring and an all out brawl erupted. Fish nailed Johnson with the X-Division title after the match, and layed out the number one contender. Johnson gets the DQ win, but left the ring in bad shape heading into his title match tomorrow night! Bobby Fish looked pretty exhausted himself attempting to match power with Ahmed Johnson. We will see what kind of impact this match will have on both stars, as they will compete in championship matches tomorrow night!
Velocity Notes:
Steve Corino made sure that Ahmed Johnson would be the weaker man going into the Global Title match tomorrow night, but did he do it at the expense of Bobby Fish. Fish was seen complaining to Corino about having to compete in the main event tonight, but Corino did accomplish his goal of laying out Johnson less than 24 hours before his title match.
Raven and Konnan have named their tag team the Tequilla Effect and have really been gaining fan support as of late.
It looks like the Kimo, 1/2 of the tag team champions will be cleared to wrestle for our next set of Velocity and Challenge TV tapings, as we prepare for our Puerto Rican invasion 2003 tour, more information on that upcoming week of shows will start to take shape as soon as we finish the eight presentation of USWA action from the Mid South Coliseum this year!

USWA Presents Mid South Coliseum #8 September 21st, 2003
Petey Williams, Teddy Hart and Alex Koslov defeated Great Sasuke, Matt Cross and Juventud Guerrera when Teddy Hart pinned Sasuke after a fireman's carry slam in 0:15:11. Rating: *** 1/2
An unadvertised 6 man tag Jr. Heavyweight opener kicked off the Mid South Coliseum event tonight. This was an excellent showcase of the action that the USWA is about to see once the division is officially launched. As for the match, Teddy Hart hit a suicide plancha on Sasuke to the outside. Hart threw Sasuke back in the ring and went for a knee lift, which Sasuke side steps. Sasuke then hits a dragon suplex, but only gets a count of 2. Hart nails a firemans carry slam, and was able to get the pinfall for his team. Matt Cross seemed to be the fan favorite in this one.
Backstage comments from Dean Malenko and Chad Collyer.
Lance Wright asks Dean Malenko if he is prepared for tonights match. A match that he asked Bill Dundee to make. Best 2/3 falls! Malenko said that he is ready to teach CM Punk a lesson in respect, something he hasn't seemed to comprehend thus far in his career. Lance tells the fans that match is coming up, but tosses it back to the ring for Alex Shelley and Christopher Daniels.
Alex Shelley defeated Christopher Daniels by disqualification in 0:08:03.Rating: ** 1/2 [Prince Devitt interfered against Alex Shelley.]
Alex Shelley has made more enemies in a short amount of time than any other superstar in the history of the USWA. A fired up Daniels was ready to put a hurting on Alex tonight, but apparently another gentleman felt the need to get involved. Prince Devitt came to the ring and attempted to throw Daniels a road sign behind the referees back to use on Shelley. Shelley was able to intercept the weapon and lay out Daniels with it. Daniels wasn't happy with Devitts failed attempt, and tried to get him to leave the ring. Shelley was able to take the upperhand in the match after hitting Daniels with two flying clotheslines, and clearly knocked Daniels senseless with a double kneepat. This was enough for Devitt who eventually jumped in and broke up the pin, giving Shelley a DQ victory. As Shelley went to the dressing room, Daniels spun Devitt around toward him and the two could be seen arguing in the ring. We will have to wait till next week on television to sort this out.
Two-out-of-three-Falls Match CM Punk beat Dean Malenko 2 falls to 0: x Punk beat D. Malenko via a leg lariat in 0:10:56 x Punk beat D. Malenko via the Anaconda Vice in 0:22:07 Rating: *** 1/2
Punk got lucky in the first fall, able to block a short arm clothesline and reverse Malenko into the ropes and hit him with a wild flying leg lariat. Fans were not happy with Punk capturing the first fall. In the second fall, Malenko had Punk in a leg lock for over a minute. CM Punk was able to reach the ropes. He was then hip tossed to the ground and Malenko was able to put him in the Texas Cloverleaf! We saw Punk PASS OUT to this same maneuver earlier this weekend on Challenge when Chad Collyer had the move on him. As he was violently trying to out of the hold, Collyer made his way down to the ring in an effort to motivate his mentor Malenko. It looked as if Punk was about to pass out once again, as the ref raised CM Punks arm for a third time, but tonight Punk was able to stay alive! Punk took the match to the outside where he was able to put a beating on Malenko. As they made their way back in the ring, Punk locked on his Anaconda Vice finisher and Malenko had no choice but to tap after being in the hold for over two minutes. As Malenko lay in the ring, CM Punk would stare right through the eyes of Chad Collyer who was ringside.
Bobby Fish and Frank Morell talk about tonights title match.
Backstage Lance Wright meets up with Frank Morell and the X-Division champion Bobby Fish. Fish tells Lance that the X-Division title is the prized possession of the Corino Family, and tonight will be just another victory for Fish! Frank Morell tells the champ that Chad Collyer isn't mentally prepared to take on the champion, since he just got done seeing his trainer Dean Malenko suffer an arm injury at the hands of CM Punk! Lance then throws it to the ring for the start of the $20,000 battle royal.
[$20,000 over the top rope Battle Royal]: 15-Man Battle Royal Vampiro won a 15-man Battle Royal: x York threw out C. Harris after a sitdown faceslam in 0:04:29 x Bucanero threw out La Mascara in 0:06:12 x Bucanero threw out Konnan after a clothesline in 0:06:17 x S. Bradley threw out Harry after a vertical facebuster in 0:07:00 x Vampiro threw out S. Bradley in 0:07:29 x Dorada threw out L. Lover after a Boston crab in 0:09:29 x Vampiro threw out Christopher in 0:10:04 x Williams threw out King Fale after a lariat in 0:16:03 x Williams threw out James Storm after a backbreaker in 0:17:27 x Devitt threw out Williams in 0:18:08 x York threw out Devitt after a facerake in 0:20:05 x York threw out Bucanero after a snap suplex in 0:20:36 x Vampiro threw out York after a vertical suplex in 0:22:10 x Vampiro threw out Dorada in 0:24:13 Rating: *** 1/4 [Daizee Haze interfered against Vampiro.]
Fans in attendance were extatic to hear it was time for the $20,000 Battle Royal. Action started with action between the tag teams of Generation Dorada and Latin Lover/Rey Bucanero. Both of these teams did everything they could to eliminate eachother, but Mascara Dorada was able to toss Lover out and continue on. The story of the Battle Royal was the victory by a new look Vampiro. Vampiro entered the ring without the facepaint that we have seen him in since his debut with the USWA. He also tore the house down, eliminating both Steve Bradley and Brian Christopher, who were both expected to go home with the money. Vampiro got the victory in the Battle Royal and left $20,000 richer. What this victory, and sudden new look all means to the future of Vampiro, we will soon find out.
Chad Collyer made Bobby Fish submit to the Texas Cloverleaf in 0:13:55. Rating: **** 1/4 (Chad Collyer won the X-Division Title.)
Bobby Fish was one day away from a solid seven month X-Division title reign, but after seven title defenses, it was the eighth, that would be the end of Steve Corino's hand picked superstar Bobby Fish. Chad Collyer has been on a hot streak, and it paid off becoming the 10th USWA X-Division champion. The finish was wild! Bobby Fish hits the 450 splash on Collyer who kicks out after a 2 count. Fish goes for a frankensteiner which was then reversed into a powerbomb!! The fans were on their feet as EVERYONE in the building thought we had a new champion with a 3 count, but USWA official Bill Rush swore Fish kicked out at 2! With the fans in the palm of his hand, Collyer signaled for the Texas Cloverleaf and Fish had nowhere to go. He tapped to the submission maneuver that Collyer has spent the later half of 2003 perfecting. The fans gave Chad a standing ovation as he leaves the Coliseum with the title.
Comments from Ahmed Johnson before his title match.
Backstage Lance Wright tells Ahmed Johnson that it is going to be hard to top what we just saw out of Bobby Fish and Chad Collyer, but with the USWA Global Title on the line, the stakes are as high as can be! Lance asks Ahmed how he is feeling after taking that shot to the head from the X-division title less than 24 hours ago. Johnson assures us that he is fine, and wont use that as an excuse when he steps in the ring with Akiyama. Johnson says that other than Taz and himself, Jun is the most feared man in this promotion. Tonight, just like Chad Collyer, he is about to go out and earn his first USWA title!
Ahmed Johnson pinned Jun Akiyama after a small package in 0:21:12. Rating: **** 1/2 (Ahmed Johnson won the Global Title.) [Steve Corino interfered against Ahmed Johnson.]
Ahmed Johnson leaves the Coliseum capturing his first USWA championship! The fans went crazy once again to see a fan favorite get his hand raised in victory, and the sudden demise of the Corino Family. Johnson attempted to hit the Pearl River Plunge on several occasions, but was unable to get Akiyama in position. At every attempt Akiyama was able to trap Johnson in a submission hold. In the end Akiyama had the momentum hitting Johnson with a devistating forearm smash for a 2 count. Akiyama attempted to follow it up with a brain buster, but Johnson was able to pull off a small package and get the 1-2-3! Cornio complained about a fast count from the referee, but senior official Downtown Bruno wouldn't listen! When it was all said and done Corino started pointing fingers at Akiyama, blaming him for the loss of the Global title. Jun Akiyama pushed Corino to the ground to the delight of the fans. Akiyama went over to grab his Global title and deliver it to the NEW champion Ahmed Johnson. Akiyama left the ring and out came Chad Collyer. Collyer hit the ring with his X-Division title and both Chad and Johnson shook hands, after just three months ago competing for a chance to face Taz for the heavyweight title. The site of Collyer and Johnson with the titles was a true sign of change in the USWA.
Mid South Coliseum Notes:
Tonight was without a doubt the highest rated show of the year for the USWA. All the fans went home happy as Johnson and Collyer walk away with USWA Gold for the first time in their respective careers.
Jun Akiyama and Steve Corino left the arena on very shaky ground. We will find out soon enough the future of the Corino Family after a HORRIBLE night for the group.
Vampiro has a new look that he debuted tonight in winning the $20,000 Battle Royal. When the USWA hits Baltimore, MD next week I am sure Vampiro will be on hand and we will get comments on what his future plans are.
As the USWA wraps up the Mid South Coliseum show, we will be continuing the momentum as the USWA will head to Puerto Rico for our Puerto Rican invasion tour! Soon enough we will have to get an update on Taz and the USWA title which we have been told WILL BE DEFENDED on that tour.

Vampiro with an impressive victory over Harry Smith this morning. Brown got a few comments out of Vampiro and asked him about his victory last weekend at the Mid South Coliseum. Vampiro told Brown that the money is great because that is exactly why we wrestle for a living, but he is using this victory as a new chapter in his USWA career and everyone will have to wait and see exactly what the future holds for Vampiro!
The Tequila Effect (Raven and Konnan) defeated America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) when Konnan defeated C. Harris by disqualification in 0:04:45. Rating: **
Referee Tommy Weathers was not putting up with the cheating ways of AMW today in our main event. What looked like a victory for Americas Most Wanted, turned into another big win for Raven and Konnan, who are on a winning streak in the tag team division. Chris Harris took the mic after the match and told Konnan he knows that he was about to be pinned, and demanded a rematch here on Challenge next week. Konnan and Raven accepted the challenge, and said it would be a no count out/no disqualification match.

USWA Velocity Baltimore, MD Taped: September 22nd, 2003 Airs: September 27th, 2003 Hosts: Lance Russell and Corey Maclin
Falls-Count-Anywhere Match The Bad Street Boys (Christian York and Joey Matthews) defeated Generacion Dorada (La Mascara and Mascara Dorada) when York pinned Dorada after a duck-down move in 0:05:45. Rating: *** 1/4
Velocity started out with a match that has been building for weeks, and ended with The Bad Street Boys finally getting a victory over a young team that has been tormenting them for weeks. In the end a failed enzuigiri by Dorada leads to a pinfall victory for York and Matthews. Haze claimed this was the biggest victory of York and Matthews USWA career.
Ahmed Johnson talks about winning the gold!
Ahmed Johnson joined Lance Russell and the fans at ringside to show off his hard earned Global Title. Johnson said it was a long time coming, but it feels special to FINALLY be called USWA champion. Lance said that his matchup against Akiyama at the Mid South Coliseum is one that will be talked about in the USWA for years to come, but there is no rest for the weary, tonight he will join forces with Chad Collyer to take on the former champions Akiyama and Bobby Fish.
Johnson says that he and Collyer are up for the challenge, and he is going to show the world how a REAL champion defends his title, obviously taking a dig at Taz.
As we thought the interview was coming to a close, out comes Bill Dundee.
Dundee tells the fans that he came out here to apologize to Ahmed for pushing him to the limits while attempting to become the champion, but in the end he has earned the right to call himself the Global champ. Dundee also tells Johnson, that the time has finally come to unify the USWA titles. He has had talks with Taz, and his doctors, who have assured Dundee that Taz won't be ready to return for the Puerto Rican Invasion tour, he is also being told that Taz might not be back in the USWA until 2004. With that news, it is with a heavy heart that he has to vacate the USWA Heavyweight and the USWA Southern title from Taz.
Dundee then says that in Puerto Rico, the USWA is going to have a tournament. 8 Heavyweights will compete over the course of the tour, and the winner of the tournament will face Ahmed Johnson for not only the Global title, but the Southern and the Heavyweight titles. Together the three titles will make up the NEW USWA Triple Crown Champion. This title will be an unrestricted weight limit, a title that ANYONE in the USWA can compete for. The three titles make up three of the main components of what the USWA is all about. A Heavyweight title that has defined great wrestlers for years. A Southern title that recognizes where this company came from, and a Global title, which explains where exactly we are today, and what our future holds.
Lance Russell, Corey Maclin, and Johnson are all shocked about the news they have just heard.
Dundee finishes up by saying that this isn't the only change to the title scene that will be taking place, and he will be talking more about a Jr. Heavyweight title, and what exactly that means for the current X-Division championship as well.
[Jr. Heavyweight Division Match] Prince Devitt pinned Teddy Hart with the Bloody Sunday in 0:05:43. Rating: **** [Christopher Daniels interfered against Prince Devitt.]
Daniels and Devitt have some unfinished business ever since last weeks Mid South Coliseum show. Devitt got involved in business between Alex Shelley and Daniels, and cost Daniels a victory, tonight Daniels tried to extract revenge, but when the ref called for the DQ due to his interference, senior official Downtown Bruno demanded the match continue, and kick Daniels out from around ringside! Devitt went on to get the victory over Tedd Hart.
The Tequila Effect (Raven and Konnan) and Juventud Guerrera defeated The New Bolsheviks (Vladimir Kozlov and Alex Koslov) and Great Sasuke when J. Guerrera pinned A. Koslov after a running power bomb in 0:04:58. Rating: ****
Six man tag action saw the Tequila Effect team with Juventud Guerrera. Guerrera and Konnan don't exactly have a great relationship, but were able to grab a victory tonight and shake hands in the end.
Trinity has comments for Steve Corino backstage.
Backstage Steve Corino was off his rocker talking about how tonight the Corino family is going to get back at Johnson and Collyer, but then Trinity enters the picture. Trinity told Corino that the fall of his Corino family couldn't be happening to a better person. Corino told Trinity to shut it, because she couldn't manage herself out of a paper bag! Corino then blew her off explaining that he has bigger things on his mind tonight!
CM Punk made King Fale submit to the Anaconda Vice in 0:05:37.Rating: *** 1/2
CM Punk leaves a winner tonight on Velocity. Punk told Lance Russell after the match that he proved with his victory over Dean Malenko that he is still one of the best wrestlers the USWA has signed to a contract. He then told Lance that if he isn't put in that 8 man tournament for an opportunity at the new Triple Crown Championship, the USWA might have one less talented wrestler on their roster!
Puerto Rican Invasion Control Center.
Lance Wright was in the Puerto Rican Invasion 2003 control center talking about the upcoming tour.
He told the fans that the USWA will be taping two weeks of television while they are on tour, along with the news today that a NEW USWA Triple Crown Champion will be crowned by the time they come back from the tour. WILD news.
Lance also says that he has confirmed that the World Wrestling Council will be providing some local wrestling names to compete in the USWA. Two of those names include Carly and Eddie Colon!
We hear comments from the two brothers that say the entire island has been a buzz about the first ever tour from the USWA. Carly and Eddie explain that they are looking forward to competing against the best that the USWA has to offer!
Lance throws it to billboards which show ticket information, arenas, and dates for the tour before we go to a commercial break.
Brian Christopher comments on Vampiro and $20,000 battle royal.
Brian Christopher joins Corey Maclin for an interview. He explains his disappointment in not winning the battle royal at the Coliseum, but then goes on to talk about how he is very weary of this NEW AND IMPROVED attitude of Vampiro. Christopher explains he has been in the USWA a long time, and has been up and down the road with Vampiro. He also says that his track record speaks for itself as a villain. Christopher says that he for one isn't buying Vampiro's new good guy attitude, and warns the USWA fans not to buy into it either!
Corino, Bobby Fish, and Akiyama backstage interview.
Lance Wright backstage with Steve Corino, Bobby Fish, and Akiyama talk about tonights Main Event.
Corino told Lance that he gave Frank Morell the weekend off, because tonight is just too important to the Corino Family. Steve said that last week Akiyama's embarrassing loss of the title to Johnson won't happen again tonight, because with Bobby Fish doing all the heavy lifting, the Corino Family is about to get a little revenge on Johnson and Chad Collyer.
Bobby Fish tells Chad and Johnson that the Corino Family is focused on bringing a little respect back to their manager, and they will do whatever it takes to bring home a win tonight!
Corino tells his men that it's time to get to the ring, and gives Akiyama another scolding right before they leave the interview area.
Ahmed Johnson and Chad Collyer defeated The Corino Family (Bobby Fish and Jun Akiyama) when C. Collyer defeated Fish by disqualification in 0:15:04. Rating: *** 1/4 [Frank Morell interfered against Ahmed Johnson.] [Steve Corino interfered against Chad Collyer.]
Frank Morell couldn't keep himself away from the ring and helped deliver a chair shot to Chad Collyer which helped turn the tide late in the match. Jun Akiyama layed out Johnson and it looked like the Corino family was going to grab the victory they so desperately needed. A missed kick to the midsection turned into Collyer putting an armbar submission onto Fish and once again turning the tides in the match. Johnson hit Fish with a DDT and he was OUT COLD! Chad followed it up by hitting a picture perfect 450 splash, and Corino had no choice but to put Bobby's foot on the ropes while Downtown Bruno attempted to count the pinfall. When Bruno saw Corino's interference, he called for the DQ and gave the win to Johnson and Collyer. Corino blamed Akiyama for the entire thing, saying that he didn't do enough to help his own partner. Corino was so mad he slapped Akiyama right in the mouth! Jun wouldn't take anymore and hit Corino with a forearm smash that layed him out! Down came Giant Bernard and Karl Anderson who started to lay a beating on Jun Akiyama. They ended up locking him in the ropes where a weary Corino made it to his feet and starting slapping Akiyama around. Just as it seemed the Corino family was going to end the career of Akiyama, out runs VAMPIRO who cleans house of the Corino family and frees Akiyama from the ropes.
Velocity Notes:
HUGE NEWS as we learn that Taz has been officially stripped of his championship titles, and we will be leaving Puerto Rico with a unified champion.
In other news, Jun Akiyama is no longer a part of the Corino family, which was made clear when Bad Intentions came down and layed a beating on their former stablemate.
Nobody was expecting Vampiro to be the hero when he ran down and saved Akiyama from a continued beating. Vampiro took out Giant Bernard, Karl Anderson, Bobby Fish, and Corino. We know that the ramifications of Vampiros action's will lead to him being put on the Corino Family hitlist for sure.
Next Week on Velocity we will see a main event of Christopher Daniels vs Alex Shelley vs Prince Devitt.
We will hear from Steve Corino, and Bill Dundee will be back with us with more exciting announcement leading to our Puerto Rican Invasion tour!

That sucks about Taz. He had been such a dominant champion. Unfortunate to see an injury cut it short.

USWA Challenge Taped: 9/23/2003 Aired: 10/04/2003 Baltimore, MD Hosts: Scott Hudson and Dave Brown
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match America's Most Wanted (James Storm and Chris Harris) defeated The Tequila Effect (Raven and Konnan) when C. Harris pinned Raven after the Death Sentence in 0:08:46. Rating: *** 1/2
Challenge opened up with a wild brawl between Tequila Effect and AMW. These two teams have reached a boiling point in the last few weeks, and today we saw a winner. Chris Harris pinned Raven, giving Tequila Effect their first loss since becoming a team. Harris claimed that tonight's victory puts them in the hunt for a shot at the Island Boys tag titles!
Announcers run down the show
Dave Brown and Scott Hudson welcome in the fans, and remind them the USWA will be headed to Puerto Rico! With our next two weeks of shows coming to them from the country. Today on Challenge we will see the RETURN of the TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! The Island Boys will face off in a proving ground match against Latin Lover and Rey Bucanero. In the proving ground, the titles are not on the line, but if Lover and Bucanero can pull off a victory, they will earn a future title shot.
Hudson says we will also see Bobby Fish in action, and Bill Dundee will announce the 8 men who will participate in the tournament for the triple crown championship all right here today on USWA Challenge!
Island Boys comments on tonight's Main Event
Backstage Kimo and OG Ekmo have some words for their opponents in tonight's Main Event.
Kimo says it's good to be back in the USWA and feeling 100%, but he can't help but notice the list of teams waiting to get the chance at the tag titles. Tonight will be a warm up for the champs, as they get back on track in the tag team division.
Jamal says that Lover and Bucanero have an opportunity to prove themselves in the ring with the best team in the USWA, and they better come ready for a fight.
Video of Jun Akiyama and break up of Corino Family.
Highlights shows the ending of last weeks Velocity as Jun Akiyama breaks away from the Corino family, and the members decide to attack him. They also show Vampiro making the save for Akiyama.
Scott Hudson comments that Brian Christopher has been vocal backstage about his lack of trust in this new Vampiro, but some think it's just a jealousy thing since Vamprio was able to get the victory in the $20,000 battle royal.
Christopher comes out and says that he has been up and down the road with Vampiro since the beginning of this company, and he knows that Vamprio is no good, the second you think you can trust him, he will turn his back on you. Christopher calls out Akiyama and tells him that he is giving him fair warning not to get involved with Vampiro!
No-Countout-No-DQ-Match Bobby Fish pinned BJ Whitmer with the Falcon Arrow in 0:06:32. Rating: ** 1/4
Fish gets an easy victory tonight. During the match we heard prerecorded comments from Chad Collyer. The X-Division champion made it clear that he is ready to give Fish a title rematch anytime he wants!
Bill Dundee talks 8 man tournament for the titles.
Dave Brown brings out the USWA President Bill Dundee. Dundee comments that it breaks his heart that the title reign of a great champion like Taz has to come to an end like this, but with doctors still unable to tell exactly when he will be back in action, it was the only thing we could do.
Dundee says that the unification of the titles will be an epic moment in the history of the USWA, and we are going to make history in Puerto Rico!
Dundee then announces the 8 names and first round matches for the tournament.
Jun Akiyama vs CM Punk Steve Bradley vs Brian Christopher Vampiro vs Abdullah the Butcher (representing the WWC.) Harry Smith vs Chad Collyer.
One of these men will be the next USWA Triple Crown Champion!
Bad Street Boys make a challenge.
Backstage cameras caught up with York and Matthews. They talk about heading to Puerto Rico for the Invasion, and they know of two brothers that will be taking part in the week long festivities. The Colon Brothers. Matthews and York say that they are a better tag team then Eddie and Carly and want to prove it when they get to Puerto Rico.
Matthews calls them out for a match right here on Challenge next week!
[Proving Ground Match] Latin Lover and Rey Bucanero defeated The Island Boys (OG Ekmo and Kimo) when L. Lover pinned Ekmo after a flying cross body press in 0:09:38. Rating: *** 1/4
A shocker in our main event as Latin Lover and Rey Bucanero got a victory over OG Ekmo and Kimo to earn a future tag team title shot! It was obvious that the Island Boys were a little rusty after being out of action for several weeks.
Steve Corino made his way down to the ring, but Senior referee Downtown Bruno was having none of it, and banned him from the ringside area. Lover hit Ekmo with a flying cross body into a roll up for the victory, and it looks like a future title shot is in the works for Lover and Bucanero.
Challenge Notes:
Abdullah The Butcher will make his return to the USWA in Puerto Rico! He had been apart of some of the old King of the Death Match tournaments, but now resides in Puerto Rico with the WWC. The WWC had asked the USWA to let one of their guys get the opportunity to compete for the title while the tour takes place.
Next week, Eddie and Carly Colon will be on the show, as they will challenge York and Matthews of the Bad Street Boys. The Colon brothers are probably two of the top young athletes that the USWA has their eye on for 2004. This will be a great opportunity to see them in action.
Latin Lover and Rey Bucanero are very popular in Puerto Rico, the victory today will give them a high profile match while on tour. The Island Boys are not going to have an easy road back into competition. The tag teams in line for a shot at the titles have never been so deep with talent.
