"THE TOTAL PACKAGE" LEX LUGER vs "K-DAWG" KONNAN
A late addition to the lineup. Konnan beat Luger a couple weeks ago thanks to interference by Louie Spicolli. Luger Racked Konnan in a tag match on Nitro. Both want to prove their loss was a fluke.
ERNEST "THE CAT" MILLER" vs "THE MONSTER" MENG
Miller beat Jerry Flynn on WCW Saturday Night a couple weeks ago in a battle of martial artists, only to be ambushed afterwards by The Barbarian and Meng who are also members of Jimmy Hart's First Family.
DAVEY BOY SMITH & JIM "THE ANVIL" NEIDHART vs BUFF BAGWELL & SCOTT NORTON
Another spinoff of the WCW-nWo fued. Vicious & Delicious attacked The Hart Foundation members on WCW Saturday Night.
CRUISERWEIGHT TITLE: CHRIS JERICHO (c) vs EDDIE GUERRERO
Eddie Guerrero is a proud cheater, but he may rue the day he suggested to Chris Jericho that cheating to win would break the Canadian's losing streak. Jericho had been throwing temper tantrums after loses, but the advice proved sound and turned Jericho from brat to menace. Guerrero's Cruiserweight reign was ended by Juventud Guerrera at Souled Out but Jericho got the belt the next night on Nitro, helped by a little distraction from Eddie. Jericho has largely outsmarted Eddie since then to keep the belt around his waist, but don't count Guerrero out: the dirtiest player in the cruiserweight division surely has some tricks left up his sleeve.
FALLS COUNT ANYWHERE: CHRIS BENOIT vs RAVEN
Benoit has been fueding with The Flock for months. He beat Saturn at Starrcade for the TV Title, only to lose it at Souled Out to Alex Wright thanks to Raven. Of course, Raven could have walked out of Souled Out with the title if he wanted it but he has shown disinterest in gold belts. That match at Souled Out and the Benoit-Raven fued in general has been marred by endless interference from The Flock. Dean Malenko and Steve McMichael were drawn into the fued as well. Raven has demanded Raven's Rules which means anything goes. Benoit upped the ante by letting falls count anywhere in the building. Can Benoit overcome The Flock and finally beat Raven? Or will Raven achieve his goal of making Benoit feel his pain and disappointment?
US TITLE: DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE (c) vs KEVIN NASH
DDP won the US Title from Curt Hennig and has kept the title despite challenges from the nWo's Masahiro Chono and Randy Savage. Now he faces his biggest challenge in Kevin Nash. Nash failed to take the World Heavyweight Title off Sting at Souled Out and is without injured Wolfpac buddies Scott Hall and Syxx, but that makes him no less dangerous.
TAG TITLES: THE STEINER BROTHERS (c) vs HARLEM HEAT
The Steiners have defeated all challengers since winning the tag titles back from the nWo in October. But the success seems to have gone to Scott Steiner's head. His has gotten into a race with his biceps to see which can inflate faster. Rick Steiner has remained calm but has clearly grown frustrated with his brother's behavior. And yet they keep winning and Scott even put Booker away cleanly in a recent singles match. Can the Steiners keep it together despite the stress and retain the titles? Can Harlem Heat overcome their longtime rivals and win the titles for the 8th time?
CAGE MATCH: RIC FLAIR vs CURT HENNIG
Bad, bad blood. Hennig came to WCW and joined the Horsemen only to betray them to the nWo, shattering the group and putting Flair out of action by repeatedly slamming his head in the cage door after War Games. Flair is back for vengeance. The two faced off last month at Souled Out with no clear winner. Since then, Hennig and Rude put Arn Anderson in the hospital with a concussion in a vicious backstage attack. Flair returned the favor, ambushing the nWo as they exited their limo and pounding Rude with brass knuckles. Now they take it to the confines of a steel cage. There will be no escapes, no countouts, no disqualifications, and nobody will be able to interfere. There will a great deal of pain and likely blood. This is very, very personal.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE: STING (c) vs BRET HART vs HOLLYWOOD HOGAN
Everyone knows about Sting and Hogan, feuding since Hogan betrayed WCW and joined the nWo. His long fight with the nWo, lurking in the rafters and demolishing opponents with a baseball bat finally got Sting a match against Hogan at Starrcade. He's been the World Heavyweight Champion since then but Hogan is itching for a rematch to bring the title back to the nWo.
Bret Hart has come to WCW after the infamous events in Montreal in November. He turned down the nWo then forcibly stopped the nWo from interfering on Hogan's behalf. Hogan considers him an ungrateful backstabber and a fool. Bret sees Hogan as just another jerk out to screw over other wrestlers and the fans. He has also hinted that he hasn't forgotten certain events of years past during their time together in WWF. Bret bested Hogan in a match at Souled Out, albeit via nothing more impressive than a Victory Roll.
Sting and Bret aren't exactly enemies, but seeds of distrust have been sown. Both have been seemingly left out to dry against the nWo. Sting still isn't speaking, but he seems to suspect Bret covets his title and isn't sure The Hitman can be completely trusted.
Is Sting's distrust of Hart justified? Will Bret once again become a World Champion? Can Hogan bring the belt back to the nWo?
