NAWA Glory 12/15/06
We are merely three nights away from NAWA StarClash 06, featuring our huge Triple Main Event, with Kurt Angle making his NAWA debut against Miles Stylish, Harry Harris taking on Samoa Joe inside the confines of a steel cage, and also The NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart and Mia Stylish taking on Abyss and the NAWA Women’s Champion Awesome Kong where the winning team gets both belts. Also not to mention other great matches that we’ll detail during this two hour program but tonight Nigel McGuinness takes on Harry Harris in your main event in a return match from a month ago on Glory. Harry Harris takes on the undefeated Samoa Joe this Sunday but he has to face off against another man who has yet to be pinned or forced to submit tonight in Nigel McGuinness.
We take a look at some prerecorded comments from Jerry Lynn before his match with the Gambler Monday Night at StarClash 06. Jerry Lynn talks about how throughout many encounters over the past five years, one them remains true, the Gambler has never pinned his shoulders to the canvas or forced him submit. This Monday with the NAWA International Title on the line, that’s not going to change. The Gambler has one fundamental flaw in his gameplan and that is because he’s not willing to win no matter what it takes. Lynn is, that’s why he has held countless championships in the company and he’s going to win the NAWA International Championship for the sixth time. Lynn says that he won’t hesitate to take a cheapshot, break an arm, snap a leg, or use less than ethical means to win. Monday night, the Gambler will learn a very valuable lesson that in wrestling there are no friends and there are no morals or rules.
We fade out as the star making of Shawn Stasiak continues, with Candace Sweet saying that he needs a new wardrobe, new hair, he needs to change the way he walks, the way he talks, and the entire way he wrestles. Candace says she’s seen some hopeless cases before but the new and improved Shawn Stasiak will be her crowning achievement. She says that to be a star, he needs to realize that the people, the unwashed masses in the crowd, are beneath him, he does not pander to them, he does not acknowledge them unless he is to belittle them. He’ll work at a pace that benefits his chances of victory and not how the fans dictate. We see Stasiak getting his hair cut and dyed platinum blond, with his facial hair being shaved off. Candace also adds that he needs an entirely new wardrobe when he enters the ring, as she takes his gear bag off to be decontaminated and burned.
Coming up next, the NAWA Television Championship is on the line, two men who know each other very well, Christopher Daniels takes on Sedrick Skyhawk one on one.

Sederick Skyhawk and Christopher Daniels battled to a draw in 0:15:00.
Rating: *** 1/4
(Sederick Skyhawk retained the NAWA Television Title.)
The fans are going nuts with boos as they hear the announcement. The Television Title Time limit was waved when Samoa Joe was the champion but it’s up to each individual champion if they want the time limit or not. Skyhawk obviously chose and Daniels is frustrated but Tomko just hits a huge big boot right to the face! He nailed Daniels right in the face and he punishes him further with a TKO. Skyhawk kept the NAWA Television Title Match, in no small part thanks to Tomko, who stalled Daniels several times by getting involved, thus eating up precious seconds.
We cut in with a brief promo with Nigel McGuinness, saying that tonight, he’s going to take on Harry Harris and he’s not going to play games, he will hit Harris in the head, he will drop Harris on his head, he’s not a Nancy boy who agrees to stupid stipulations, saying that this is a man’s sport, and people get hurt, badly, especially when they’re in the ring with someone as dangerous as Nigel McGuinness and if Harris tries anything with him, he’ll end him, whether the wankers in the crowd like it or not.
[Commercial]
We cut to the NAWA World Tag Team Champions the Rottweilers of Homicide and Low Ki, who have singles match at StarClash 06. Low Ki talks about how he ended the fifteen month long NAWA Cruiserweight Title reign of Bryan Danielson in a flash and also injured him in the process. Low Ki says he’s going to put Danielson back on the shelf permanently. Homicide talks about how the NAWA Cruiserweight Title Belt has been held by many great competitors, but its just another piece of tin that he has to carry to the airport. He suggests that he should melt the belt down and make some bling out of it. Homicide says that Chris Sabin better be ready for his title match, because Homicide is going to punk him like the little bitch he is. The Rottweilers are ready for their match.
We head backstage, where Teddy Hart is lacing up his boots, with the door knocking and Mia Stylish walking it. Hart asks her how she’s feeling and Stylish admits that she’s still pretty banged up from what Sweeney, Abyss, and Kong did to her two weeks ago. Hart agrees that he wishes he was a bit better off having suffered his own scraps against Abyss as of late but that’s part of being an NAWA competitor. Hart talks about how it was a normal weekend for him after he’s been through the Hart Family Dungeon. When you’ve been through the Dungeon, then Abyss and Kong aren’t as bad, but they’re still pretty dangerous, even more so with Sweeney stirring them up. Stylish expresses a bit of fear about what might happen if she gets caught in the ring one on one with Abyss, talking about Daizee Haze being put out last week with that deadly Shock Treatement from Abyss. Hart tries to reassure her but says that tonight, they’ve got to focus on two world class wrestlers in Austin Aries and Sara Del Ray, and then they’ll worry about the two monsters this Sunday. Stylish walks out as Hart mutters that Abyss is a force of destruction and for the first time in his career, he’s not completely confident that he can win, when Stylish is out of earshot. He looks at the NAWA World Championship forlornly almost as if he’s wondering if he’ll be saying good bye to it Monday Night.
We have a few words from the Gambler who is at home. He talks about how Harry Harris called him and apologized about what happened, and Gambler says that he’s going to be the better man and accept his apology, as things can happen in the heat of battle. The Gambler has a concussion as a result of that nasty kick to the head that Harry Harris gave him this past week but despite the doctors advising him not to, he’s going to defend the NAWA International Title against Jerry Lynn as scheduled Monday Night at Starclash 06. The Gambler admits that he could be really risking a lot more damage to his health but he’s not going to back down from Jerry Lynn. The announcers question the Gambler admitting his injury, as after what Jerry Lynn said earlier, there is no way that Lynn won’t go right after the head, without any shame. The Gambler will put his NAWA International Title on the line against the former five time champion Jerry Lynn.
Christopher Daniels barges into the office of Richard Ramos Ricardo, NAWA Commissioner, demanding another Television Title Match this Monday Night with the time limit waved and Tomko barred from ringside. Ricardo says that Daniels had his shot and now it’s time for him to go to the back of the line. He does offer Daniels a match against Skyhawk and Tomko this Monday, if he can find a partner on such short notice. That’s the only way he’s going to be able to get his hands on Skyhawk for now. Daniels agrees, a bit hesitant, as finding a partner on three days notice is not going to be easy, but it will be Daniels and a partner against Tomko and Sedrick Skyhawk just added to Starrcade 06.
Coming up next, three days before their tough challenge, Mia Stylish and the NAWA World Champion Teddy Hart take on Sara Del Ray and Austin Aries in mixed tag team action.

Kick is blocked but a snapover spin kick wipes down Del Ray. Tag made to Teddy Hart who enters the ring. Del Ray shoves Hart back. You don’t have to tag out, men can fight the women in the NAWA and Del Ray goes for a dropkick but Hart catches her and sets her up, with the Giant Swing! The fans are going nuts, as Hart falls down, flinging Del Ray down. Aries is tagged in and Aries and Hart go shot for shot, punch for punch but Hart ducks the head too soon, allowing Aries to nail him with a forearm smash. Aries then drills Hart with a series of elbows right to the side of the head and Northern Lights Suplex snaps Hart down for a two count. Aries pounds away at Hart and now Sara Del Ray hits a series of kicks to the back of the head from behind, before Aries hits a spinning uppercut for a two count.
Aries beats on Hart, working over him, slamming him into the corner. Aries hits a running dropkick right in the corner and sets him up, before hitting a brain buster! The fans are booing as Aries is climbing to the top rope, a bit arrogant and taunting the crowd. 450 Splash hits the knees on the way down! The wind has been knocked out of Aries and now the tag has been made to the women. Sara Del Ray goes for a clothesline but Mia Stylish ducks it and leaps right on the shoulders before taking Del Ray down with a victory roll for a two count. Stylish beats on Del Ray, with a series of punches and into the ropes. Cross body block as Del Ray comes off the ropes and now Mia Stylish is on the top rope. Coming up next, a look at the big main event for this Monday at StarClash 06, featuring some prerecorded comments with Kurt Angle and Miles Stylish. Don’t you dare touch that dial, we’re going after you with NAWA Glory.
[COMMERCIAL]
Miles Stylish sits down, talking about how his return at Unholy Alliances 2006 was supposed to be a big thing, but it was overshadowed by the debut of Kurt Angle. Stylish admits that Kurt Angle has likely proven himself to be one of the best wrestlers in the land of sports entertainment. He won an Olympic Gold Medal with a broken neck as he has claimed. However, he stepped right into the world of Miles Stylish. In this company, Angle isn’t the best in the ring, that is Miles Stylish. The best he can hope for is number two. Angle is good and Stylish will not enjoy the victory that he’s going to get December 18th at StarClash 06 nearly as much, if Angle was unskilled. We’ll see what happens when the best wrestler from the land of Sports Entertainment takes on the best wrestler in the New Age Wrestling Alliance, when Kurt Angle squashes off against Miles Stylish. Stylish promises another notch to be added to his belt and he will regain the NAWA World Championship as well in 2007, using Angle as a stepping stone.
We then switch to Kurt Angle, talking about how the first few years in his career have been under the bright lights of a sports entertainment company, that puts a less value what you can do in the ring and more on how you look on camera. In that company, Kurt Angle feels that he never got a chance to show what he can really do in the wrestling ring. Angle says that in all of his time, both going for Olympic gold and in professional wrestling, he’s never seen anything like Miles Stylish. Kurt Angle says that he’s taking this match very seriously, training to the point of exhaustion, even more insane than he ever has when he was going for an Olympic Gold Medal. The moments that he hasn’t been training, when he’s allowed himself a breath, he’s been watching DVD after DVD of various Miles Stylish matches throughout his career, watching the man from every angle. Angle says that despite all this, he knows that Miles Stylish is not going to go down easily, it will be the toughest fight of Angle’s life. At StarClash 06, one man will prove to be the better man. Angle looks focused, intent.
Miles Stylish against Kurt Angle, Monday Night, December 18th 2006, StarClash 06. You don’t want to miss this one. This will be an amazing match, worth twice as much of the price of the Pay Per View.
A recap from a month ago, with Nigel McGuinness pinning Harry Harris. This Monday night at StarClash 06, Harry Harris will take on Samoa Joe inside the confines of a steel cage where the only way the match can end by pinfall or submission but he takes on another man who has yet to taste defeat in the New Age Wrestling Alliance, that being Nigel McGuinness.

Harry Harris is going to take him on, to try and be the first man to defeat Samoa Joe, inside the confines of a steel cage this Monday Night. The only way you can win is by pinfall or submission.
We see Harry Harris in the back with Dan Marion for a few words before the next match.

Harry Harris has ended the undefeated streak of Nigel McGuinness tonight and while McGuinness has only been undefeated for a few months, unlike Samoa Joe who has been undefeated for a couple of years, that has to be an impressive bit of momentum on Harris leading to this Sunday at StarClash 05. Harry Harris takes on Samoa Joe in a Steel Cage Match, among other epic encounters this Monday Night. We’re completely out of time. We’ll see you then!
