Been a while since I really did a real circuit. So I thought I'd try my hand at it again.
January 14, 2012
Welcome to the debut of Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we've got four great matches lined up for you, all first round matches in the tournament to decide the first ever Bodyslam Heavyweight Champion. Let's get down to the ring for tonight's first match-up!
"Long Island Iced-Z" Zack Ryder vs. The Miz
Zack Ryder started things off by getting the crowd riled up and behind him. The Miz was not amused and shot in at him as he shouted "Woo woo woo!" at the crowd. The Miz wasn't able to keep Ryder down for long though and Ryder was able to get in some spots of good offense before the Miz retook control of the match. Ryder caught the Miz by surprise with the Rough Ryder out of no where, but the Miz kicked out at two. It wasn't long after that the Miz was able to hit his own finisher, the Skull Crushing Finale, for the three count.
[First Round]: The Miz pinned Zack Ryder with the Skull Crushing Finale in 0:14:23. Rating: ** 1/4
The Patriot vs. Steve Corino
At the beginning of the match Steve Corino extends his hand to shake. The Patriot is obviously a little suspicious and looks around to the crowd as to how to proceed. Eventually he hesitantly shakes Corino's hand and Corino takes full advantage, pulling the Patriot in for a kneelift to the midesection. The Patriot had a hard time finding an opening to exploit to get the match back in his hands and struggled against the crafty Corino. He managed to catch a break when Corino ran into the ropes and the Patriot picked him up for a gorilla press and dumped Corino to the outside of the ring, giving the Patriot time to try to recover. Corino was back in at the count of 8 and the Patriot was ready to take over. He tried putting the match away with the Uncle Slam, but Corino countered it was a backward kick to the niblets and hit the Sliding Lariat before Patriot could recover.
[First Round]: Steve Corino pinned The Patriot with the Sliding Lariat in 0:13:48. Rating: *** 3/4
Sin Cara vs. TAKA Michinoku
The pace of this match was fast from the beginning. TAKA attacked Sin Cara before the bell and hit a huge German suplex for two right out of the gate. Neither man gave up an inch, trading blows, going spot for spot with each other at a pace that would tire most just from watching it. TAKA tried to apply the Just Facelock several times, but Cara was always able to block the attempt. Cara went for an enzuigiri but TAKA ducked and Cara hit a mule kick that made Michinoku stumble backwards. Cara tried to hit a rana, but TAKA countered with a powerbomb for a two count and then quickly scrambled to get the Just Facelock locked in. Cara fought and fought, but ended up passing out in the hold.
[First Round]: TAKA Michinoku defeated Sin Cara when Sin Cara passed out in the Just Facelock in 0:08:09. Rating: ** 3/4
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry
This match was all about Mark Henry. He overpowered Dreamer at every turn and Dreamer was always playing catch up. To his credit, though, he never gave up and kept coming back for more. Mark Henry hit backbreakers, suplexes and slams and Dreamer kept getting up and going back at Henry until Henry hit the World's Strongest Slam which put Dreamer out for what could've been well over a 3 count.
[Main Event: First Round]: Mark Henry pinned Tommy Dreamer with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:08:03. Rating: **
Thanks for joining us for the debut of Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Next week we'll have even more great action for you as the first round of the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title tournament continues with Jimmy Jacobs vs. Sheamus, Jerry Lynn vs. Raven, Christopher Daniels vs. Jeff Hardy and CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes! Good night everyone!

Good group of talent. Can't say there's anyone on the roster that I actively dislike. Plus, I know all of them and that always makes it easier for me to get into the circuit. I need to find out what the Just Facelock is. Good stuff, looks like Henry might be the guy you run with, and that makes me a happy reader.

Glad to see you back and posting! Like the first few on the roster. Miz winning is nice, and Ryder still looked good in a losing effort. Which version of the Patriot is this? I like TAKA, but was surprised to see him beat Sin Cara. No complaints here. Mark Henry is a beast. I am hoping he goes far in the tournament. He's credible, and generally awesome. Looking forward to the next show to see where the hierarchy starts to form.

Pretty good one hour show to start off the promotion. You showed off quite an array of wrestling styles here. It looks like you're going unbooked as all heels walked away with wins here. If that's the case, it will be tough to predict a winner.
I'm looking forward to reading more.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we're going to have the final four matches of the first round of the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title tournament. Let's get down to the action in the ring.
Jimmy Jacobs vs. "The Celtic Warrior, the Great White" Sheamus
There is quite a weight and height difference between Jimmy Jacobs and Sheamus, but in Jimmy's own mind he's just as big and strong and didn't hesitate to run at Sheamus and attempt a clothesline. Sheamus stood his ground. Jimmy tried again. Sheamus again didn't budge. He went for a third clothesline and Sheamus grabbed him and hit the Irish Curse. Sheamus took his time picking Jimmy apart move by move until he put him away with the High Cross.
[First Round]: Sheamus pinned Jimmy Jacobs with the High Cross in 0:11:23. Rating: ** 1/2
Jerry Lynn vs. Raven
This match started out with some good back and forth. Neither man seemed to have a definite advantage or seemed to be close to a definite victory. That is until Jerry Lynn went for a springboard cross body block and Raven pulled referee Alan Fidler in the way. With the referee down and Jerry Lynn trying to revive him, Raven went outside and brought a chair into the ring. Lynn turns his attention back to Raven just in time to dodge a chairshot. Raven turns around and Lynn dropkicks the chair into Raven's face! He throws the chair outside and pins Raven as the referee crawls over to make the count. Raven kicks out after a long two count. Lynn picks Raven up and gets hit with a low blow for his trouble. Raven immediately hits the Evenflow DDT and just barely gets the three count.
[First Round]: Raven pinned Jerry Lynn with the Evenflow DDT in 0:10:43. Rating: ***
"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy
Daniels and Hardy had a match that was a high flyer's clinic. Lots of high risk everywhere you looked. With both men at this pace, it kept the match pretty even. Things ended with Jeff Hardy countering an uranage with an elbowsmash and setting Daniels up on the top rope for a top rope frankensteiner which Daniels countered with a huge power bomb. He proceeded to throw Hardy into the ropes and hit a leg lariat, folllowing it with the Best Moonsault Ever for the victory.
[First Round]: Christopher Daniels pinned Jeff Hardy with the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:16:23. Rating: **** 1/2
CM Punk vs. Cody Rhodes
The crowd was soundly in CM Punk's corner from the beginning. Cody Rhodes managed to get the early upperhand with some underhanded tactics though. The crowd started a "CM Punk" chant which helped to fire Punk up to gain control of the match. Rhodes tried for a flying cross body press but CM Punk rolls through to get a two count. Before Rhodes can even get all the way to his feet Punk hits a hard enzuigiri and locks in the Anaconda Vice until Rhodes passes out from the pain.
[Main Event: First Round]: CM Punk defeated Cody Rhodes when Cody Rhodes passed out in the Anaconda Vice in 0:06:29. Rating: *** 3/4
What a night of wrestling action here in Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Next week we'll see the quarterfinal round of the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title tournament. The brackets look like this: CM Punk vs. Raven, The Miz vs. Sheamus, Christopher Daniels vs. TAKA Michinoku and Mark Henry vs. Steve Corino! We'll see you then!

Ah, good ol' Jimmy Jacobs. Poor guy. He may think he's as tough as Sheamus, but that doesn't save him tonight.
Good match with Raven and Jerry Lynn. Raven's probably a better choice to go over, but it could have went either way.
Surprised to see Hardy eat the loss considering he's clearly the bigger star. Not only that, but cleanly. Either you aren't big on Hardy, or have big things in store for Daniels.
Great main event with two of my favorites in wrestling right now. Right man went over. Punk vs. Henry final?

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we have four quarterfinal matches lined up for your viewing pleasure. Who will make it to the semi-finals? Let's get down to ringside.
"The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry vs. Steve Corino
Mark Henry started off strong, as you'd expect given his nickname of "The World's Strongest Man." Steven Corino isn't above a dirty trick to get the job done, but Mark Henry's sheer power was enough to virtually negate any attempts by Corino to get a dirty trick in. Mark Henry almost got himself disqualified while holding Corino in a choke lift, but he released it before Sammy Goodchild was forced to end the match and hit the World's Strongest Slam to get a three count.
[Quarterfinal]: Mark Henry pinned Steve Corino with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:05:20. Rating: ** 1/2
"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. TAKA Michinoku
This match had the speed dial set to 11. Both men were going at each other 100 miles an hour in what was surely to burn out brightly. Daniels managed to get a two count with the combo of the Angel's Wings and an Asai moonsault. He tried for a second Asai moonsault but Michinoku rolled out of the way and Daniels ate canvas. TAKA nailed a superkick as Daniels got up and got a two count after hitting a flying cross body press as Daniels made his way to his feet again. Daniels finally pulled out the victory after hitting a flatliner out of nowhere and then the Best Moonsault Ever for the pin
[Quarterfinal]: Christopher Daniels pinned TAKA Michinoku with the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:06:46. Rating: *** 3/4
The Miz vs. "The Celtic Warrior, the Great White" Sheamus
Despite the size difference, the Miz seemed to have Sheamus' number tonight. Sheamus is a powerhouse, but for the most part the Miz was able to duck away from his large, pale opponent. The Miz even managed to block an attempt at the Irish Curse, but couldn't keep himself from falling prey to the High Cross.
[Quarterfinal]: Sheamus pinned The Miz with the High Cross in 0:11:06. Rating: * 1/2
CM Punk vs. Raven
This match didn't even start in the ring. Raven attacked Punk from behind in the aisle as he was making his way to the ring. He tried for the Evenflow DDT on the concrete early, but a little too early as Punk dumped Raven over his head. Punk got in the ring and waited for Raven to stir, hitting him with a baseball slide. Once back in the ring Punk tried for the GTS, but Raven managed to block the attempt. He did manage to get the pinfall after a top-rope frankensteiner, however.
[Quarterfinal]: CM Punk pinned Raven after a top-rope Frankensteiner in 0:08:41. Rating: ** 1/2
After the match as CM Punk celebrates in the ring, Sheamus runs down to the ring in an attempt to attack Punk, but luckily Punk sees it and slides out just as Sheamus slides in. Punk tells him that he's not going to get the better of him, shaking his finger at Sheamus and smiling.
Thanks for joining us again and we look forward to seeing you next week when we'll present the two semi-final matches: Chrstopher Daniels vs. Mark Henry and CM Punk vs. Sheamus! And not only that, but we'll have the semi-final matches for the Bodyslam Tag Team Title tournament as well as Tommy Dreamer & Jerry Lynn face the Hardys and Zack Ryder & Jimmy Jacobs face Legacy, Ted DiBiase & Cody Rhodes. Good night!

Another dominant win for Henry. Fully expect him on one side of the finals. Yes, looks like I was right last card about you having big things in store for Daniels. Two wins in this tournament and making the final four is nothing to scoff at. Fun match. Glad Miz didn't get buried. He's too good of a character for that. Sheamus is probably the stronger pick for the next round though. Great main event. Punk/Raven have a big history real life, so cool to see some of that carry into BPW. Is Sheamus heel here, or was he just trying to get the first shot on Punk? Legacy is my pick for the tag champs. You forgot the date again!

Heelish actions from Sheamus. Would have assumed he was a face, but maybe not so here in BPW.
Henry and Punk are looking like they are headed to the finals. Whoever wins that match will be a fine first champion.

If Daniels manages to beat Mark Henry in the semi's I'll be shocked. With that being said, I'm wagering on a Henry/Punk finale with Punk taking the gold.
Ryder & Jacobs make for a unique team but Legacy should win and likely go on to on to winning the belts.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we have four semi-final matches for you, two in the race for the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title and two in the race for the Bodyslam Tag Team Titles.
Tommy Dreamer & Jerry Lynn vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff)
Lynn and Dreamer had a tough match ahead of them facing the Hardy brothers, who are well versed in tag team wrestling. Lynn and Dreamer managed to catch Jeff and Matt by surprise with how well they worked as a team though. When it came down to the end of the match, Matt Hardy hit Jerry Lynn with the Twist of Fate to set him up for the Swanton from Jeff and the one, two, three.
[Semi-Final]: The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) defeated Tommy Dreamer and Jerry Lynn when J. Hardy pinned J. Lynn after the Swanton Bomb in 0:11:21. Rating: *** 1/4
Zack Ryder & Jimmy Jacobs vs. Legacy (Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase)
Most probably thought that this match was going to be won by the heavily favored and much more experienced team of Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, but early on in the match DiBiase suffered an injury, turning this into what essentially was a handicap match with Rhodes taking on both Ryder and Jacobs. Rhodes put up a great effort, but Zack managed to hit the Rough Ryder which was just barely enough for the three.
[Semi-Final]: Zack Ryder and Jimmy Jacobs defeated Legacy (Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase) when Z. Ryder pinned C. Rhodes with the Rough Ryder in 0:10:40. Ted DiBiase injured his left knee. He will be out for approximately 6 months. Rating: **
"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry
This match was an uphill battle from the get go for Chrstopher Daniels. He was giving up a lot of size to Henry. Daniels threw everything he had at Henry and had a tough time getting the World's Strongest Man off of his feet even. Daniels had Henry stunned and went for the Last Rites, but Henry wasn't stunned enough and hit a HUGE spinebuster which he followed with the World's Strongest Slam for the win.
[Semi-Final]: Mark Henry pinned Christopher Daniels with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:11:39. Rating: * 3/4
CM Punk vs. "The Celtic Warrior, the Great White" Sheamus
Sheamus got out to a quick lead with an early Brogue Kick. Punk refused to give up though. He started to mount a comeback but Sheamus stuffed with with the Irish Curse. Later he hit the High Cross, but Punk actually managed to kick out a fraction of a second before three and Sheamus made sure to keep Punk under his control by hitting another Irish Curse. In the end, CM Punk went for the GTS, but couldn't get Sheamus up. Sheamus tried for a lariat, but Punk countered with a backslide which caught Sheamus off guard enough for the three count.
[Main Event: Semi-Final]: CM Punk pinned Sheamus after a backslide in 0:19:13. Rating: *** 1/4
After the match, CM Punk exited the ring as quickly as he could, knowing that he just barely pulled that one away from Sheamus, who was far from happy.
Next week is the big night. Not just one but TWO champions will be crowned: The Heavyweight Champion and the Tag Team Champions. In addition to those two matches we'll also see the debut of the Blue Meanie as he faces Steve Corino and Christopher Daniels takes on TAKA Michinoku. We'll see you next week!

Dreamer/Lynn aren't going to beat the Hardyz. Period.
Absolutely SHOCKED to see Ryder & Jacobs win. Even with the DiBiase injury, that was a surprising result. I don't think Rhodes is going to let this go unavenged though. Don't like the chances of Ryder & Jacobs.
Nice try, Daniels, but Mark Henry gonna have a snack!
Great main event. It wasn't easy, but the right guy went over.
Punk to win the Heavyweight Title, Hardyz to win the tag titles.

Surprised to see Ryder and Jaobs go over Legacy. Sucks that DiBiase is going to be gone for 6 months. He'll fit in well with this circuit whenever he returns.
Can't say I'm too surprised that it'll be Punk and Henry in the finals, but I think it's the right choice. I'm hoping that it's Henry that walks out with the gold, but either man will be an okay option.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling and what a night it will be! Tonight we will crown both the Bodyslam Heavyweight Champion and the Bodyslam Tag Team Champions!
The Blue Meanie vs. Steve Corino
Steve Corino came out in a bad mood tonight. He obviously still isn't happy at being eliminated from the Heavyweight title tournament and he took it out on the Blue Meanie. Not just that, but he did it quickly, using a boot to the midsection and following with a boot to the side of the head and then the Sliding Lariat for a three count.
Steve Corino pinned The Blue Meanie with the Sliding Lariat in 0:01:07. Rating: **
We're shown backstage where Zach Ryder is getting ready for his match later tonight by doing stretches, when all of the sudden Cody Rhodes comes out of nowhere with a chair and clocks him straight across the back of the head. Rhodes smiles and leaves Ryder out cold on the ground.
"The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels vs. TAKA Michinoku
In their last outing, Daniels got the best of TAKA Michinoku and moves on in the Heavyweight Title tournament. Daniels got off to a quick start countering a kick to the midsection with a dragon screw, but TAKA took control of the match and made sure to use it to its full advantage countering an Asai moonsault with a tombstone piledriver. He tried for the Just Facelock by Daniels blocked the attempt by grabbing the ropes. Daniels caught TAKA with the Last Rites for two and followed it with the Best Moonsault Ever for three.
Christopher Daniels pinned TAKA Michinoku with the Best Moonsault Ever in 0:12:45. Rating: **** 1/4
Match for the vacant Bodyslam Tag Team Titles Zack Ryder & Jimmy Jacobs vs. The Hardys (Matt & Jeff)
You have to ask yourself what shape Zack Ryder is in after being attacked by Cody Rhodes with that chair earlier. He doesn't seem like he's 100% just looking at him. Jacobs starts the match with Jeff Hardy. Jacobs tried to wrestle most of the match himself, partly because Ryder wasn't 100% and partly because the Hardys weren't too keen on letting Jacobs tag out once they had the momentum in their favor. Once Ryder it was a house of fired, though a short lived one as he was still suffering the effects of the chair shot from Rhodes earlier in the night. The Hardys finished things off with Jeff Hardy hitting the Twist of Fate onto a chair and then following it up with the Swanton Bomb for the three count to become the first ever Bodyslam Tag Team Champions.
[Finals]: Match for the vacant Bodyslam Tag Team Titles: The Hardys (Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy) defeated Zack Ryder and Jimmy Jacobs when J. Hardy pinned Z. Ryder with the Swanton Bomb in 0:17:35. Rating: *** (The Hardys won the Bodyslam Tag Team Titles.)
Match for the vacant Bodyslam Heavyweight Title CM Punk vs. "The World's Strongest Man" Mark Henry
Punk started out by throwing everything he could at Mark Henry, who seemed to absorb a lot of the punishment, but Punk was making headway in his efforts. Punk managed a two count after a shining wizard and then Henry started to get angry and vicious in his attakc strategy. Hitting not one, but two World Strongest Slams on CM Punk to end the match to become the first ever Bodyslam Heavyweight Champion!
[Main Event: Finals]: Match for the vacant Bodyslam Heavyweight Title: Mark Henry pinned CM Punk with the World's Strongest Slam in 0:12:59. Rating: ** (Mark Henry won the Bodyslam Heavyweight Title.)
What a night of wrestling action! We've crowned two champions tonight in two amazing matches! Make sure to join us next week for more wrestling action.
Card rating: ** 3/4

The Blue Meanie is good fodder. Still can't believe Corino wrestles in real life. Still think you got stuff planned for Daniels. He's looked really good in all of his matches. Poor TAKA. Ryder & Jacobs had an uphill battle to begin with BEFORE Cody Rhodes got involved. Ryder was out of it, and we get new tag team champs. Like Mark Henry as first champ. Dude's a beast. Don't think Punk is going to take this loss lying down though.

I like Henry and the Hardys as your first champions. I agree with Ryan that I doubt Punk will let this go for long.
The addition of Meanie is a good one.
Not a huge fan of TAKA in a main role, but I like what you are doing with him here. You get some nice match ratings while using him to build up other talent.

Welcome to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we have three match which include a 6-man battle royal in our main event to see who will face Mark Henry in his first title defense. And we'll also hear from Zack Ryder on what transpired last week with Cody Rhodes.
Sin Cara vs. Steve Corino
The crowd was soundly against Steve Corino from the start. Sin Cara tried to keep a high pace, but Corino slowed things down and tried to keep himself from fighting the kind of match that Sin Cara wanted. Corino ended it with the Old School Kick (Superkick) and then the Sliding Lariat.
Steve Corino pinned Sin Cara with the Sliding Lariat in 0:10:26. Rating: ***
Zack Ryder's music hits and out he come to the ring. He plays to the crowd with a "Woo woo woo!" before getting down to business. He says that he's got a bone to pick with Cody Rhodes. He doesn't understand why Rhodes decided to attack him last week. Was it because they won? Or some kind of retribution for DiBiase's injury? Cause that's not how bros treat bros.
"The Innovator of Violence" Tommy Dreamer vs. The Miz
Tommy Dreamer wanted this match to be a slugfest and he tried his hardest to make it one. It worked well for a while, but once Miz got a definite upperhand he didn't let it go. He nailed Dreamer with a flying lariat and then hit the Skull Crushing Finale for the victory.
The Miz pinned Tommy Dreamer with the Skull Crushing Finale in 0:08:18. Rating: ** 3/4
6-Man Battle Royal featuring The Patriot, Jerry Lynn, Christopher Daniels, Sheamus, Raven and TAKA Michinoku
The action got vicious early as near the beginning of the match Sheamus hit the High Cross on the Patriot on the concrete floor for what surely had to lead to an elimination, but Sheamus wouldn't get the chance to to pin him and it would actually be the Patriot that ended up eliminating Sheamus after hitting the Uncle Slam! TAKA Michinoku spent a lot of time battling with Christopher Daniels but it would be Raven that finished him off with the Evenflow DDT and Michinoku getting eliminated by the Patriot with the Uncle Slam. Raven had the Patriot on the mat and was trying to rip his mask off, but Jerry Lynn made the save before the Patriot could be unmasked. Raven sent Lynn sailing into the corner post and hit the Patriot with the Evenflow DDT for a second elimination. Raven seemed to have things wrapped up as Lynn was still hurting from his meeting with the corner post but Lynn fought back and followed up a spinning headscissors with the Cradle Piledriver for the win!
[Main Event: #1 Contender's Match]: 6-Man Battle Royal: Jerry Lynn won a 6-man Battle Royal: x Patriot defeated Sheamus after the Uncle Slam in 0:08:38 x Raven defeated C. Daniels after the Evenflow DDT in 0:15:15 x Patriot defeated Michinoku after the Uncle Slam in 0:19:12 x Raven defeated Patriot after the Evenflow DDT in 0:20:40 x J. Lynn defeated Raven after the Cradle Piledriver in 0:23:24 Rating: **** 1/4
We now know who will be the first man to challenge Mark Henry for the title, Jerry Lynn! Next week, in addition to Henry's title defense, we'll see Cody Rhodes in singles action as well as Sheamus and a match between the Patriot and one half of the tag team champion, Jeff Hardy. We'll see you then!
Card rating: *** 1/2

Ryder is a hard guy for me to take seriously. I'll see where you go with the Rhodes feud. Hopefully you can change my mind.
Surprised Punk wasn't involved in anything tonight.
Lynn will be a fine choice to put Henry over. I imagine Punk gets involved in some way.

Yeah... equally shocked Punk wasn't involved. Plotting, I'd imagine?
Ryder's a guy that I like, but like Josh said, he's tricky to take serious (of no fault of your own, but rather his gimmick). Maybe a feud with Cody is what gets him on the right track though.
Good main event. Not sure I liked Sheamus being out first, but I do like Lynn as the winner. He's a perfect pick to put Henry over as a monster.

Feedbackery~!
Kicking things off in style with a huge match and Corino picking up the win will only serve to lead to some great things for him.
Zack Ryder is in the house, and I approve because I was a fan of him before it was considered cool to be so. The match between Rhodes and Ryder is built well.
Miz wins, but it appears that Dreamer put up a fight for sure.
Battle Royal looked to be a solid match, with two of my favorites coming down to the end. Jerry Lynn vs. Mark Henry will be...an interesting match for sure.
The format was nice and easy to read and the booking was solid. Keep up the good work.

Welcome once again to Bodyslam Pro Wrestling! Tonight we will see Bodyslam Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry in his first ever title defense against Jerry Lynn! Not to mention the Patriot vs. Jeff Hardy, JTG's debubt against Sheamus and right now Sin Cara will face off against Cody Rhodes so let's get down to the ring for our first match!
Sin Cara vs. Cody Rhodes
Cody did a good job at keeping the pace low and slow and out of Sin Cara's comfort zone, but Cara was able to get in some good offense anyway. Cody Rhodes actually did some flying himself, hitting a moonsault for two. It seemed like Rhodes had it all tied up when Zack Ryder came down to ringside catching the attention of Rhodes. After a moment of jawing at him he turned around right into a headscissors into a facebuster and as he stumbled back up to his feel a springboard cross body press which was just barely enough for the three count. Cody Rhodes was NOT happy at not only losing, but how he loss.
Sin Cara pinned Cody Rhodes after a springboard cross body press in 0:13:46. Rating: ** 1/4
JTG vs. "The Celtic Warrior, the Great White" Sheamus
This match was a lot of Sheamus, but JTG really surprised everyone with how much punishment he was able to withstand at the hands of Sheamus. It was only a matter of time though before Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick and followed it with the High Cross.
Sheamus pinned JTG with the High Cross in 0:12:45. Rating: ** 1/2
The Patriot vs. "The Charismatic Enigma" Jeff Hardy
It looked like Jeff Hardy had the Patriot finished early with the Twist of Fate, but he neglected to go for the pinfall and the Patriot mounted a comeback.
